"Manifest. You live no your your brain starts to see things in your brain doesn't know the difference between what's actually happened and what's just division so if you see a visual you closure is an everyday visualize yourself having that dream house the dream partner. Your brain actually thinks that it's already happened and does that make sense so even though it didn't happen your brain register it like it's already happened which means particular activating system activated now. Are you start to see things that will prove that right. That's why visualizations are super important critical yeah so the the opposite of that so we spoke about how censoring visualization getting into that i guess the presence the president monde now i know you've got a bit of a powerlifting background. You've got a few records stuff with powerlifting. How how do you go the opposite and just turn up the cogs and get your body in particular in your pal lifting if you can talk about that but also a more interested not just your pal ifting prowess us but also your mindset around lifting and palestine and how to get yourself into that state of like this is a maximum lift and it's takes. It's obviously a mindset few to lifted a lot of times that heavyweight overcoming that a no show in the mon- before you actually go up and step up onto the platform and you push that heavy heavy white yeah yeah i can tell you a little story about the powerlifting show the mindset the mindset in powerlifting so the first competition ever did did i was the swedish championships and needless to say a little bit intimidated by the first competition being televised with audience and i've been on stage talking in front of thousands of people but i've never had to be up and be strong in front of people the thing that fascinated me the most powerlifting is the mindset because there's no place that you physically and emotionally are so vulnerable as when you up there and you have to maximize people watching you and it's it's very emotionally is pushes all of your emotional boundary s. and all your buttons so i went up there and i thought to myself i competition. I thought you know what i'm just going to go up there and do my thing it's all good and so i walked into stage especially in three three lifts powerlifting his squats bench press dead lift and on the dead lift you get three on each of them. You get three tries and then obviously you have to have you can on the one rep packs so i went into my dead lift and the ball was loaded and i heard them like the bar is loaded and i walked in and talking about mindsets and peak performance and i walked in with a kind of like blase emotion of like yeah. This weights ease have done a million times walked in and i heard the commentators. You said she's ready lon. She's she's getting the bar picked up the bar and pulled it didn't move and because it was my first there's competition i was like of course they put the wrong weight on the bar. Hello i mean it has to be right because it didn't move and i know this weight so what back to my coach and he's smacked me around <hes> not literally but emotionally what what the hell did you do up there. He's the did you walk out and get yourself into peak performance state. I said no. I didn't think i needed to was an easy. Wait he goes. I said they put the wrong weight on the bar. He said they didn't it's the swedish championships you nuts. I said mistakes happen happen right. He said they didn't do that. You go out there and you grab that barn you smash it and i thought oh my god so i got a bit angry frustrated and so this time i turned up all of those cylinders that you're talking about where i just visualized myself just written this thing off the floor and there was no option. I didn't leave an option. It was a must for me the way that i coach people to make their life a must. There's no maybe we'll see what happens. No must so i walked back out there grabbed the bar and i ripped it up up and he just flew off the floor and the commentator was like oh my gosh she did what happened. The first time and i thought that was a defining moment of understanding. This thing with mindset that you mind is so powerful so when you ask me how you get into space when you're lifting awaits me personally. I always visualize he's when i go out to lift a really crazy wait. There's two things i do. I i think of it as i've done this before even though i haven't but i tell my brain because my brain doesn't know the difference between the truth now grooming program i've done this before is easy. It's fine second thing i do. I always visualize the weight being two and a half kilos lighter than actually is always. That's my way of doing it and do it and when i do that i can pull it off the moment i think oh my god i've never lifted this weight before and it's so heavy see how that set set you up for disaster but it's like everything in life but i think pelleting more so than any other sport is so demanding more on your mindset and your psychologist like you can say people who had defeated before. They even got absolutely to lift but that's the thing as well. Your body doesn't know the difference between being scared tired and being excited so when i work with people that do for example presentations or people that are scared of flying so you scared of flying you get on a flight because you've had a bumpy bumpy flight sometime in the past or something happened you brains now programmed flights or scary or speaking in front of people is scary. You get into that scenario you start to feel the symptoms you body sweating. You get all like crazy and you think oh my god. I'm so nervous but what you can do in that. Moment is keep the feeling ailing if you want but what you can do is turn it around to being excited so when you go into lift you can go either in and say i'm so scared. Oh my god. I'm gonna fail. Oh my god. Your body feels elsa symptoms or you go in with the same body symptons but you reprogram your brain to say i'm actually excited. The body that the mind doesn't know the difference. I guess it just takes a lot of self worth and self all of this stuff. You have to work on knocking fast. There's a difference between and a conceptually understand but then also being up there and whether it's presenting with her. It's like it's easier said than done because you got to do the work well well. That's what i do. That's how i help you reprogram stuff so that's that's the work that i do that. I help you with your and the thing that i've noticed just coaching people for for twenty years so close to twenty years now because i say the white people attack training is almost sometimes a metaphor for have attacked the rest of the law so right. You're so right. I always say that how you do one thing is normally how you do everything it's so true because some people come in there just kinda pushing pushing this half asleep doing and then you say them interact with other people and it's the way they off for the rest of the pick that up well. That's what i say to people that say to me. I don't believe there's any difference between super successful people and you and me. There's no difference between people that are like oprah winfrey all these big names in the world that are amazing and who's doing. I'm believable things. The only difference is there certain they made a domestic and all of them have successful rituals. All of them racer standard ended everywhere. There is no way that these people are not raising their standards in the way that they show up in the morning the rituals and then become like that so the most of us look up to people like that and wish we could be that that one day but we don't understand we can be that today if we only changed the way that we actually view view ourselves in the world by having successful rituals so that's that's. That's moving onto that point that you said that. If you don't believe you show up kind of semi crappy happy in your training you you show up crappy everywhere yeah most of the time yeah exactly what's just shifting gears a little bit so who who who would this at a mental is and people that have coached you because obviously you've done what rating you've done a lot of certifications and study but who are the papers that have shaped in created your success and do you have your own coach coaches you as well. I i would say that. The biggest influence for my mindset is my dad he was. I always say he's he was. Unfortunately he's passed. <hes> he's passed from this world into a much better place but he is the absolute biggest inspiration from me and i know this is gonna sound extremely weird heard but the day he passed was the best and the worst day of my life the worst day of my life because i lost an icon and law and this world lost an incredible human being the best day of my life because i was completely daddy's girl so everything he said i just believed in everything and so i never got to really grow up if that makes sense until he passed fast but the things that he taught me was all this mind set everything about how i view the world comes from him and also of course my mom and the rest of my family but that the way that i grow up i grew up with the mindset that everything is possible and anything that comes in the way we sorted out that comes from him one hundred percent and from the the rest of my family as well because they're old the all have that mindset so mom and dad were amazing in the foreground for that you know people look up to in the industry obviously tony robbins on the male side on the female side well actually on the male side. Tony robbins is is an icon for the whole industry of coaching. He's like the godfather of coaching and on the female side mel robbins because i think mel robbins is just an incredibly. She's no relation to anthony. Robbins has just it's crazy about that name. <hes> what i like about both of them are they're both very edgy. Sometimes they're up there and they swear they rip people apart but in a very loving compassionate way but in a way where they make people step into the power. I have my own mentor. He's nuts and door him. He's amazing and his zach dixon australia the reason listen. I love him as well as could. Nobody can pull me out of my crap like he does. Nobody but i believe that every single successful person needs to have a mentor needs to have a success success coach or a mentor somebody that they can always that can always hold them accountable. Every single person i know that a successful has a mentor awesome and then just just moving on from that would be like yeah unofficial mentors or just more resources what what resources and you know whether it's books podcast interviews. Is there like something that you would watch on. A daily basis or something listen to is the whether it's i. I dunno a guided meditation thing you do or anything like that. Is there something just from a resource standpoint than has spoken to you in terms of whether it's the the book i think you mentioned mel. Robbins wrote that five second rule the second rule you or anything else that you could think in that space but more so pertaining to yourself well. I always make sure that i wanna fill my mind up constantly with things that make me move forward in my life so that's why. I don't really watch that much t._v..
