Where if they if they promised to go do so much learning or education while they're way they can take a year off. And i'm like wow. If we left we come back into the party would be over. There will be no one left in the room. All remember those guys. What was your name again. There's no room i to come back. It was that show. That didn't win a marconi award. Yeah remember they really stuck on. Only listen to marconi award winners. All right elvis when you get a chance. Check out my lovely heartfelt post on instagram for your birthday. Everyone kind of curious. Hold up to the camera. chances in the studio. I'll get it for you picture of you without including myself. Because i found this great picture of you for your eating akaba horn and i'm going to say happy birthday to this motherfucker scottie. Hughes garrick post. I love it. But why the words over his face exactly elvis. That time we kept posted a picture of the dinner we had and cropping froggy out. Do you remember that. I don't remember that what we do that too. Froggy we were in miami froggy remember and we all sat down to dinner and somebody cropped you out of the picture. I think i'd do you remember. I don't recall that. Yeah that was a jamie the crop you out of the picture. I think jamie jamie from remember she was down there. Oh yeah you know. Yeah it might have been. Yeah yeah great story. He's gonna go somewhere. Sorry how how far back are we allowed to post pictures of you like i want. I wanted to post. That went from the baseball game. We were at ninety six. No no no. It's time to move on. I've aged become a different guy we will have. I actually have this picture of before. I even moved to new york city. I came here to visit. And you and i elvis. Were wearing the exact same outfit. We took a picture. It was a black polo and tan shorts and but it was like seven eight nine years ago. Now so you'll for my black polo was a little larger than yours. Well what are you doing. You're still at your birthday. Get outta here. This team has left this. This podcast. i feel you re honest roadies really of energy look at all the energy full of energy. Well let's hear it. Let's see it go ahead tap dance i i. How much time do we have frog. Have something as much as you want to. Go as much as you want. So i want. I sent you a topic idea. Because i caught scary doing something and i wanted to for the big show. But maybe we can kick it off here jerry. Is it wrong. If one of your co workers puts pictures of themselves up in a bikini on instagram and scary likes the picture. I was actually going to talk about that on the show tomorrow. But it's okay we'll cue it up. I like okay. So allie gold. Who's our digital content director and runs all social media in our website. Put up some some nice pictures of herself in a bikini. A bunch of pictures having fun at the beach. And i saw the picture i thought she looked good. But i didn't like it. Because i thought like if i like it is that like i'm liking it but i noticed scary liked it and then i noticed he liked to one. She posted a couple of weeks ago in a bikini and then i went back to a three the third and fourth ones where she was dressed normally and he didn't like those so i feel like is it wrong to like pictures of a co worker. Now it's funny. You say that. Because i always think twice every time i see my co workers in swimsuits. I'm like well if i don't like it then. They might be like well. Why didn't he like it. But the fact that. I do like it now. On other people's feeds it says liked by scary jones and six hundred twelve others and it's like my name stands out. Am i looked at as a perv but then again you should. We already know. You're perv. But i heard from ali this morning. She said happy birthday of his scary liking. My thirst trip instagram photo. Yesterday you should call him out. Enjoy the day confused though like the host photos that they like and they want other people to like the photo they because they like it. So don't hesitate when it comes to co workers because it's like coworkers and bathing suits. Is that considered creepy. So the the light scare the only creepy part is that you don't like her regular pictures if she posted like normal close. You should like those two. It's not that creepy that you'd like to bikini extra. She obviously liked it. Wanted other people to like it. That's not wrong. Instagram's algorithm warrant. Wait a minute. Brody commented fun with his hands up. That's not creepy. Now go scary if your mom. Roseanne posted a bikini. So you wouldn't like it. No i would. I guess and you just said something very funny alley. Herself admits that that was a thirst trap. And you've auto series so she did it purposefully to trap people into like like here like like these pictures i wanna be. I wanna be like you know. It's so funny. I took something totally different from this. Because she wrote happier than ever and i was like. Oh my gosh. i'm so happy. She's happy with danielle in her own. Words what did you. What did she text you. Elvis i my thirst trap photos that means it was. It was intentional. That may have been a thirst. She's probably thinking that was the third trip for perv. Like you know i. I always think twice though. I do think twice before liking workers photos that may be provocative but then you liked it but i liked it anyway. What's the point. It was the eggplant emoji. I found to be weird. You should the eggplant with with the water water water. after.

Are You Ready for Hurricane or Fire Season?
"Well today. I wanted to talk a little bit about storm. Prep and we talk about this from time to time. But we're kinda getting into the season of it. Now we're watching a tropical storm hurricane. Come up the You know west coast of florida heading up that going to cruise up to east coast. We've got Wildfire season that is full swing out on the west coast and who knows what tornadoes and things happen across the central part of the us. We've got a lot of different storm's going think it's going to be an active summer sore. You ready for that now. Ready can mean a lot of different things. If you're in a area where you've got hurricane coming. Maybe you need to have that generator. She you can power up and if you're down for a week or two you've got power to to run that you've got enough fuel. You get generator. You keep that food fresh. Maybe even the house cool. If you've got a big enough one and the same goes out on the west coast you know rocky mountains west because with fire season you're gonna see a lot more power outages and rolling blackouts. You're going to see more of that. I mean hack we just about. We're running out of power out here just in the pacific northwest because we had a huge wave. Last week that he wave well that could have caused rolling blackouts. Had win with that. We could have been out of power for awhile so you would have wanted to have of course water you would of course wanted to have a backup power system but think about this. Are you ready for all that. You know things that i want you to think about our your precious most prized belongings. Are they in a place that if someone came up to you and said you got a half hour to get out of your house. Could you get them in the back of your car easily. Are they in a good spot for that. Make sure they're in a good spot for that
The Hero from Season One
"It's time for another installment of si-hun it's still alive and this time we're going back to season one episode twenty-six the hero and it premiered on july fifth nineteen fifty eight sixty three years ago on my third birthday. The hero opens up with mike underwater. Telling us these working with. Dr george snider on a project to turn ocean plants into food. Apparently they need funding for their research. And that's where a millionaire elliot conway and his wife. Gloria come in you see. Elliot is a big game hunter and he wants to take his hunting underwater and he wants to hunt for sharks and giant squid only problem. He doesn't know how to dive. He needs mike to teach him and gloria so he can bag. What's down there. Mike price five thousand dollars now since it's going to research glorious says it's a worthy cause and a tax write off elliot agrees to pay like twenty five hundred dollars upfront and the remaining twenty five hundred when he gets his first shark. So now they're off to a place known for sharks portable ongko and they go in elliott's private plane and that plane. Looks like a dc. Three named misguided gal now. Puerto blanco is on the west coast of south america. A small fishing village with a new hotel. Not much more. Just as they're getting off the plane guy comes running up and he introduces himself as dr gomez. Any needs to use of elliott's plane to get a sick child to a hospital over three hours away. Elliot agrees so now. They're all set to start their scuba training. And mike tells. Gloria things will be okay if elliott follows all precautions glorious says he never does mikes response he better now before they start training mike scouts out the deep area offshore for sharks. We see a variety of sharks white tips black tips and even some clown fish interesting. Now we start to see what scuba training was like in nineteen fifty eight. Mike takes the couple through snorkeling skills and then talks about how the equipment is delicate and technical. He tells them there is only one way and that is safely theory in practice. That's what it takes. But elliott is getting impatient in the next scene we see mike demonstrating what happens when a balloon is inflated at depth and brought up boom. Goes the balloon back on the boat. Mike tells them it's called an air. Embolism and you must always excel. Exhale as you extend. Gloria asks mike. How fast and he tells her no faster than your bubbles. Elliott wants to know. When do we stop learning and go hunting. He wants his shark. Glorious says she's tired and wants to sit out the next dive. Elliot tries to coax her into diving. But mike says it's dangerous to dive if you're tired so now we switch back to the hotel and we can clearly see the tension between elliott gloria. Gloria tells mike that that elliott is a mixed up millionaire. He's an architect. Who inherited the conway oil company when his father was killed in an auto accident. Elliott doesn't want to really be an architect anymore. Just a big game hunter. Now elliott comes into the scene and he's carrying a spear gun that he's all proud of its cocked and loaded. Mike is furious and he and elliot start to argue. And in the argument elliot drops the spear gun. It goes off narrowly missing gloria and lodging in palm tree. Now we switch back underwater. Mike says elliott has be elliott has become pretty good. Shot with the spear gun. And they're shooting at this target. That set up kind of lake for archery. But mike says he just needs to stop pointing a gun at mike. Now we switch back to land where mike. Gloria elliott are working on camera to document the shark on elliott. Says he wants to order. Chicken cacciatore for dinner might tell them. Oh no that's too spicy before diving. Says okay good now. Probably order to and elliot goes off. It's just mike gloria now. Gloria tells mike she's unhappy made a big mistake in marrying elliot. Mike tries to console her and she tells mike he's sweet and she puts her head on his chest. Elliot sees this and is upset. What's going to happen when they go on the shark hunt the next morning. They are at the dive site. Mike cuisine i finds a shark and is ready to take them down for the hunt. Just as soon as you can get the bait ready now. The three of them are down below at seventy five feet. Gloria has the camera as mike elliott head off to the hunt just end we switched to the surface in a boat is approaching. Its dr gomez. He needs elliott's playing again. As you get close to the dive boat. He throws his anchor over the side and it crashes down into gloria breaking her rag might just happens to look back and sees the glory is in trouble and they both rush back elliott steps in and starts buddy breathing with gloria the sharks. Fresh off debate sense trouble. As the big one continues to circle. Mike is impressed. With elliott's calmness and sends them to the surface while mike fights a rearguard action again and he spears the big shark. We then see all the divers back on board and dr gomez says we must go sure back at the hotel. Elliott s mike. Why don't they haven't hospital here. In puerto blanco might tells him. It's always money. Justin dr gomez emerges and skulls mike for letting gloria dive in her condition. She's expecting a child in six months. And dr gomez congratulates elliott by saying congratulations senor. Now you need to take her back to the states to the hospital. That does elliott is going to build a hospital in portable. Ongko and keith tells mike it'll be done in six months. Mike says that can't be done elliott. Replies you don't know me when i go to work elliott conway the hero. You'd recognize him. That's larry hagman. J are jr ewing from dallas or tony nelson from my dream of jeannie Mike nelson tony nelson coincidence. Who knows

AURORA Shares Why She Wrote Her Song, Runaway
"I was around eleven years old. When i first started writing runaway i was living very happily in my childhood home. It's on the west coast of norway and it's very nice here is very quiet. You really have the space and time to kind of cream yourself away. So i just sat down at my piano and played in. I wrote when i started writing around away. I had a story quite clear in my mind when i was younger. Struggled quite a lot with understanding people around me especially the part where people kind of lie about the current state of mind. Because we like to pretend that we're happier than we are. And i feel like people fear to open up about whatever troubles us so i just wanted to write a song about how we run away with our emotions rather than to face them and ask our family and friends for help it becomes so much easier once we share what lies within us because then we realized that is perfectly normal but we never get the chance to ever understand that because we never tell anyone about what's going on inside and i guess i just thought about that quite a lot. As a for some reason. I remember the day i wrote runaway. I was listening to the ocean. The very first line of the song. I was listening to the o shen. And i am looking at it right now. The ocean to me is kind of like human beings. it's so mysterious. And it's so deep and dangerous and beautiful. Which is how. I feel about people.
Are There Enough Different Perspectives on Healthcare for a Podcast?
"As i was launching this podcast. I was concerned in looking at a variety of different areas. I was thinking about what is quality healthcare. What is the future of healthcare. What can be done to improve the quality of healthcare that people receive. And i was worried. How many different perspectives are there on. That the perspectives can vary based on whether someone's a doctor or a nurse whether they are involved in rehab or oncology whether they are on the east coast the west coast whether they are a millennial or whether they're a baby boomer all of these different factors and begin to wonder maybe there is not that much of a difference in perspectives on healthcare. So i took it on myself to ask. And i asked a doctor about his definition of quality healthcare. And he said it's the right diagnosis with the right treatment at the right price. I checked with the hospice nurse. About what her definition of quality healthcare is and she told me. It's about dignity and respect. I asked a nurse about her definition of quality healthcare and she informed me that it's based on communication and research. I asked a physician's assistant. About what her definition of quality healthcare is and she informed me that it's got to be all about the patient and it's got to be about communication and so in this brief survey i found out there are so many different perspectives on healthcare. Even just on quality healthcare. I can't wait to do more interviews and to find out all of the perspectives on the current state on the future and on improving the quality of healthcare all here on perspectives on healthcare.
Are You Ready for Rolling Blackouts for Fire Weather Season?
"If you're in oregon. Washington california. Idaho montana nevada colorado wyoming arizona. Nevada already said nevada new mexico. Let's go into texas. Oklahoma north south dakota any of you guys and even further east. I'm talking to you. Because i honestly think that we this is going to be the season where we really see. Power companies reducing their liabilities by turning off power. When they're worried about a power line coming down to wind or storm lighting natural vegetation brush or crops on fire. So if you've got a couple forty eight hours of a heat storm. You know where you've got wind coming in it's dry storm and you're in the hundred degree range. Be careful you're probably gonna lose power so then you decide what you're going to do for your house because it could be one hundred degrees outside and tell you what food does not last long and refrigerator when it's one hundred degrees inside your house. It's just not that efficient. So you're gonna lose a lot of stuff. Are you ready with a generator. Are you ready to go someplace. Because we're not just talking one little area. You could have an entire metropolitan area get shut down on power so there's no going to a hotel star localized power outage this would be a large blackout event. So make sure that you have got extra water. Put away the. You've got all these things to make sure that you're ready to go in case of emergency. I think this is going to be one of those years. We're going to see that ramp up and see a lot more of this. They've sure been looking at it. Testing it along You know across the west coast. So i've got a generator that can run for days on end to run my house. It was Strong enough to run my air conditioning and refrigerators not so worried about the about the water heater and the lights. It matters everything to liberals, and she tries to put him in a spot in corner and but she hasn't realized Byron Donald's a lot smarter than her. Check this out. You have defended President Trump. You think that your defense of a person that said things like that might be incongruent with the mission of the CBC? First of all whatever the president said in the past has nothing to do with this discussion at all. I think Well, you defend you've defended you've defended. Don't cut me off. I didn't have not cut you off in his interview, Please do not do that to me. Thank you As a black man in America. I'm allowed to have my own thoughts on who I choose to support who I choose not to support. I think that it's important whether you're talking about the Congressional Black Caucus or the Florida State Legislative Black Caucus or the National Caucus of State black legislators organizations. I have been a part of in the past. My support of President Trump has been consistent, but at the same time I've had the ability to advocate for issues, ideas proposals. And funding that have helped the black community in my state. You're talking to somebody who my first three years in college was at Florida A and M and Hbcu. So whether my support my support for President Trump. Whether it's for or against is irrelevant. That has nothing to do with this discussion. This is whether the ideology of somebody who is conservative is welcome in the Congressional Black Caucus. It's really that simple and so to bring up President Trump to try to make this about him does not matter. It's irrelevant. It has nothing to do with the situation in hand. Yes, Yes. Hold on for the fox nation. Years. This is standing. Jim. If I'm off to my concern, yes Stand to go. Byron Donald's spectacular Nice job. I'm here alone in the studio. I wanted to ask you about something that you said recently on the podcast you said that climate change is like diabetes for the world and I know you I said that three years ago I wonder if you reflect back on the past three years what you think about that statement now, I should say that I was not the one to coin that statement climate scientists have said it. Over the years and I adopted it in that column that I wrote three years ago, and I would say that unfortunately, this is all very predictable. It's no less devastating and scary but it's predictable. This is what climate scientists are saying is going to become more extreme because climate change is becoming more intense factor in what is a really messy mix of factors that are driving these wildfires to. I'm sure. Yeah it's I mean. I don't know but that that whole Chris game has a link back to another one conspiracy theories so that comes up a lot. But I don't know it's one of those things where you just have no opinion on this. I I can't speak on this guy. The next one is that rumors that too posh occurs alive have surfaced once again after claims that he was actually behind bars. Conspiracy Theorists are convinced. That the rapper. Who was shot and killed in a drive by shooting in one thousand nine hundred six actually survived the execution and went into hiding now. Bizarre new evidence and that is in quotation marks has emerged to suggest that to pock also known as to pock and Machiavelli. And that's an I should say that's to Pock T. U. P. A. C. Also known as the number two. Pac and Machiavelli isn't a Los Angeles prison. The rapper has previously served time in prison on sex abuse charges. And so there are records of this but apparently a newly found booking from two thousand seventeen and two thousand nineteen appear to quote unquote match to pox identity according to the youtuber. Ex-con CODY LACEY. When searching using to pock secure and his date of birth to entries. Come up for two different people. WanNa there are rumors. Swirling that to pock is leaving behind bars and the booking records are from April fourteenth. Two thousand seventeen and the second is April. Twenty six two thousand nineteen which is weird. Because that's how the sublime songs stars April twenty-sixth Nineteen ninety-two Anyway. Sorry about that. That was me doing a weird connection with numbers anyway with Details matching to pock including his height and weight. Because no other person on the planet could possibly be the same height and the same weight as to pock weird as so weird guys to pock is alive. I'm telling you to his alive. This is to pock not everyone was convinced at Lacey's discovery pointing at how easy it is for someone to give a fake name when being booked for arrests so those are the ten most popular to park theories and again. I condensed those to their basic just smallest details answers. There's a lot of others not only that but like every conspiracy theory literally has a book's worth of evidence and I said that with the bunny ears to back it up so me just reducing it to literally like a couple sentences is taking it down to the base level. So like if you're interested in any of those there are books in books and books and books and books and news articles and youtube pages and literally so much information about those and that was just boil down to his basic minimum information so in the end. Here's the thing both biggie and to pox. Death are super frustrating. One with biggie. The investigation was so botched from every single level. That there was the. There's no way that this is going to be solved ever and with to park the thing. That's so frustrating. Is the lack of any witnesses or any footage anything in one of the most filmed places in the world. And then you have deathbed. Confessions you have you have people who were claiming that they were there. You have people that that say like. I know who killed his so frustrating because even thirty years later we are no closer to finding out who truly killed either one of these young men than we were on the nights they were killed. It's crazy is so frustrating. But I hope that you are entertained by the East Coast West Coast rivalry and I wanted to finish off because of course. I like to finish on a thoughtful note. I thought I would leave you with three quotes from to block. The first one is reality is wrong. Dreams are for real. I love that one. I'm not going to say I'm going to change the world but I guarantee that I will spark the brain that will change the world and I love that like I'm going to create something that might set the next person off to create something that will change the world. Desa really cool quote for me and here is my favorite quote by him. Maybe one of my favorite quotes by anybody. My mom always used to tell me. If you can't find something to live for you better find something to die for and that concludes our episode onto pock. Hope you guys really like that. I really like seriously please go read all the information. That's on the show notes. Check the books out. Check out the the bio-pics for both of the artists. There's just so much information and do check out the last podcasts. On the left I mean. They're they took a massive deep dive into the the entire east coast. West Coast thing focusing on biggie and sugar and to park and breaking everything down and then I think they actually do come to a conclusion. Apu they think killed both of them and so I highly suggest them. They're they're gems and L. D. is going to roll out our social here in a minute If you have thoughts theories comments again jump in join the conversation. Yeah please do. "I am your host L. D. and unfortunately TJ is not here with us this week She is very sick. But I am fortunate to be in quarantine with someone who had some free time and could sit down with me so you guys welcome my husband. William a good try. Not the same. I will sorry. Got Plenty of time to practice since we're home. Yeah this has been a scary time for everybody and If you don't care to listen to US Banter about this I guess skip ahead like three minutes but we got the news. I believe it was yesterday that Kenny Rogers passed away at age. Eighty one and so of course we will be doing an episode on him. But I grew up listening to Kenny. Rogers and that was incredibly sad. We have covert nineteen. That's kind of ravaging our world right now so in the grand scheme of things. I gotta be honest. This podcast seemed like the least of the important things that we should be doing. But you know it's it's my way of giving you guys a distraction and distracting myself at the same time because we can get overwhelmed. I think it is needed because again people are in their homes. They're not sure I know California's completely locked down and other states are following us. Entire countries in Europe are now closing their borders. And it's really easy to feel just like you're alone and you know we want to remind everybody out there that you're not you're not This is a great time to connect with the people in your immediate circle. You know your your family and those who live with may be you know your roommate but it's also a time to connect with family. You know. Call Your family in another state you know. Set up a skype call do something that can connect you guys and I think you said that this may not seem important. I would disagree. I think something like this is very important at a time like this. Well I know that we as podcasters are putting our voices out there and hopefully giving you guys some entertainment and something to look forward to so you know that's our small contribution but I am trying to do something with my little community that I've got so if you want to help with a small montage that I'm doing and putting together a video montage already have about seven or eight tapes. In so if you guys want to participate record yourself horizontally for about thirty seconds dancing to Meghan trainor better when I'm dancing and you can email me that linger video or whatever to Carolina. Blue productions at gmail.com. That's Carolina like the state blue light color and productions as in many Carolina. Blue productions at gmail.com and I will be posting that not only on my our instagram and our twitter but also our facebook page. So I'll give it all socials at the end like I usually do but for now. Let's take a little distraction so we're going to be picking up where we left off on our East Coast. West Coast rivalry with to pock. Her and I used a lot of different resources for this. I've kind of been living with two pox since about August of last year and other episodes came up and then we did the month of Mercury and You know a lot of stuff happened and then we got into Christmas and then New Year's and then all of a sudden it's February and now it's March so here we are and there is so much material on those you know. I think I would encourage you to look at your own research it on yourself. You have so many books and movies and articles Galore. There's there's a lot here. There are films. There's bio pics. There's youtube channels. There's other podcasts. I mean there's a there's so much because I remember when you showed me the copy I looked over and you had a lot of material there and that's not a knock on you that only scratches the surface of what's there. There's so much because there's only so much we can do in an hour and a half you know there's there's and then I of course me because I love a good conspiracy theory. I did add the ten most recognizable to puck conspiracy theories at the end of it. That's not even all of them. An over central boiled it down to like two or three sentences. He's just so you get the vague idea of what the conspiracy is. But I mean it. Is there so much it's incredible? It really is because you not only have to deal with the rivalry the mysterious death of both of them both big and to pock but there is a great podcast that I'm I know I've mentioned in the past but it's called the last podcast on the left and it's been kissel Henry Zabriskie Marcus Parks and they're insanely popular. I'd be shocked if you guys didn't who they were and they did. I think a two to four part series on the death of beginning to pox. Yeah we only took the individuals. But they've done. They did a deep dive. So if you find yourself super interested in this information after this you can go. Listen to their podcasts. Because they do a brilliant job Podcast isn't for everybody. I will say that. So let's just jump in and I'm to put the. I'm going to put all of the references that I used into the show notes. If you want to dig a little bit deeper into that so and there's also a great book just called to Pock and what we have to. We have like eight onto pa. I thought that in particular like like you said there's so much material there I mean this is this is going to hopefully give you a little overview and some grist for the mill as they say but again there is so much out there on this and there's so much left unanswered it's staggering a. Yeah it's it's crazy so let's jump in and we'll tell you guys both me and will are sick right now but I'M GONNA try to edit this as little as possible so if you get an extra Or I repeat something I apologize. We woke up long enough to record this. So yeah we're doing okay that we're doing we're doing okay. We're doing we'll do this. We will get through it getting through this. So let's start at the very beginning To puck a Marcia Kure was born. Shane Parrish Crooks June sixteenth nineteen seventy-one to Black Panther activist parents in East Harlem New York City and he was named after Jose. Gabriel to Puck Amaru the second which was an eighteenth century political leader in Peru who was executed after leading a rebellion against Spanish rule. So that's like a really cool name. Canada's difference was that interesting historical reference to. Yeah I that I love when people research names that they're giving their children that's an entire science to itself. It's really interesting. What's the animosity of your name? I've never looked it up serious. I I need to so that was one thing I will do. I think it's associated with William the conqueror. Also I do know that sort of the origin of it but I don't know what the actual name breaks down to means so I will have to look it up homework for me. Mine was a combination of my parents. Mental names so it means nothing but my last name is German for honest or the truth the truth so his parents actually separated before he was born and his mother. A Fini Shapur whose real name was Alice. Faye Williams was imprisoned while she was pregnant with him. So you're pregnant in jail in April nineteen sixty eight. A Fini was arrested with her then husband and I'm going to try to pronounce this name and I apologize if I butcher it. I looked up several pronunciations for for names in this. But there's no through line that people can agree on so la- Muga it's L. U. M. U. M. B. A. Shukor at their apartment in Harlem on the charges of conspiring with other Black Panther members to carry out bombings in New York with bail. Set at one hundred thousand dollars for each of the twenty one suspects the Black Panthers decided to raise money. I for Joseph and secure so those could work on raising bail money for the others Shaker. Head been effective in raising bail funds for other jailed Black Panthers. So that's that was the that was the reasoning for that. The pretrial started in February nineteen seventy and the actual trial on September eighth. Nineteen seventy charges brought against her and the other members of the Black Panthers or attempted murder conspiracy to commit murder conspiracy to bomb buildings and conspiracy so conspiracy conspiracy and then some more conspiracy. What's added all the charges which he was imprisoned when he was born? So yeah during the course of the trial. The judge dismissed twelve out of thirty charges. She actually chose to represent herself in court pregnant while on trial and facing a three hundred year prison sentence and she had no law degree she interviewed witnesses and argued in court she and the other Panthers Twenty One were acquitted in. May Nineteen seventy-one after an eight-month trial altogether. She spent two years in jail before being acquitted to pock got acquainted with his biological father. Bill Garlan so that was his bio dad. Only after he became an adult interesting. So this is all happening before. He's even born yet. He did not know until he was known to his whose father was right. Yeah well that's what I gathered from my research. If I'm missing something. Please tell me no seriously you guys email me I am. I crave any kind of human interaction. Right now The following year in Nineteen seventy-two Lesean was renamed to pock which means shining serpent in Inca. So that's cool. His first acting stint was in one thousand nine hundred three and this is why I was kind of drawn to to pock not to get all east coast west coast but To pock was really a student of the arts. Oh yes absolutely. So he was actor. He was a poet. He was a rapper. He was he did a ton of stuff and so I felt A. I felt a kinship to back when I was doing this so it is really the soul of an artist. Yeah at the age of twelve he performed in a raisin in the Sun with the hundred and Twenty Seventh Street Ensemble. Athenian to Puck actually moved to Baltimore Maryland where he entered the prestigious Baltimore School for the arts as a teenager while the school he began to write raps and poetry. That's what I was talking before. And he performed in Shakespeare plays and took a role in the nutcracker which he could actually dance. He could do it all you could dance. He could sing he. I'm using.

"A daytime thing totally. Well I went down a rabbit hole of your music videos last night. So you have so many dope videos and so many cool looks thing. Which one would you say is like one of your favorite like look so or music video songs my most most recent music video anchors? Is that with the pink wag. No is you both like a pink on your story. Last night I saw long term in care and it was like new video tonight or something. Oh that was that. Was the video me wrapping. Yes I did watch that. Yeah Yeah I'm trying to. It's funny I'm like you guys want me to drop this but don't even have a hook yet versus were so Firoz like you always want to give them a little sneak peak but yeah my probably are we my most recent video anchors. That's just like a song I'm like really proud of. I mean as far as looks in a video though layoff style. Looks my Song Carl on like paint paint homage to like Karl Lagerfeld. Yes I loved. It was like the craziest looks I've ever had in the video so yeah that's definitely one of my favorites. Yeah Yeah I love it all getting some infidels like ooh yeah. You've a lot of vaguely. Looks definitely so what are you working on right now The main thing I'm working on is my clothing line. Oh say yeah. It's called a Luo cartel. Oh my God I laughed. It was actually inspired by Red Man. So and my one music video Sharon stoned him and Michael Rapaport played detectives. And there's a part where there was total freestyle Improv. And they're acting like detectives an Aku she with WHO she working for and red man's like I know who she with she with Ella. Well cartel they were all onset dying we were to hold it in while they're filming but everybody was dying laughing and so it just really fit me and I was like trying. I think the clothing line name when I was working on my line with my partner. Whatever knows the name being like Dude L. O. cartel kind has just like my thing? It's like known for laughing right and I think it's a a cool name because it's like it's cute Ambassad the same time you know. And it's like the the brand is about it's like it's all about positively. It's not just like laugh out loud. Live out loud. Love out loud. And we're like we're all about promoting positive but also like being a bad ass at the same time because I think kids these days like they think it's cool to be like negative and like talk shit and be like haters attention like no like it's cool to positive happy like young. You know what I mean. That's that's a cool thing so that's like really what I'm trying to promote the brand and its Unisex clothing tilts for girls and guys like street wear. The T shirts hoodies. Hats beanies love stuff like that cousy. Also no way which Yeah like my fan base loves cousy. My Dad loves cousy. My Dad loves you so I'm definitely going to get one of those. Yeah I got you. Yeah that's literally only like one of my dad's favorite shows so it's been a big fan of yours for a decade Nice shot in hospital. I mean I have been how how long all of us has been on now too because I feel like I've been guys longtime also so our show. We shot our pilot in two thousand eleven but we weren't on air until two thousand thirteen so we've been doing arena for eight years on air for six. Oh my God yeah you guys are basically because I remember I started watching your show right when ridiculousness started hearted. I remember this because right when that show started. I actually didn't have a couch at the time and my friend was like you're on TV and don't have a couch. What's wrong with the IT? Sounds like Tommy. I was like I was Eilly Lubaton those like I need shoes purses and like nobody sees my house the TV Out What I'm wearing. You know who cares about couch. My friend was like dude. You ridiculous he needs to get out and I was like watching Vanbrugh's they gotta love that that's been an ongoing joke this summer with Tomonori on as they have this gorgeous like two point one million dollar house with no furniture. You're just a mansion. Really why they just they were they. Were just like you know we. We have mattress. We sleep on the couch and then they have like a little table but it's like they have a five bedroom gorgeous house. It's coming together but it's funny because everyone bought houses all says this year unlike either bartend furnished car car by what which is a young man. He's the youngest one on the show. Exactly so it's like you can't compare yourself to other people who are like years ahead a little longer than you. I wasn't compare myself. Oh yeah but most people either bottom. Foreigners are furnished him in the first week and domino and it was like six months later. And we're like oh ooh. I feel like Tom. Tom Takes time with everything joint. Tax cost eight x eight days later like now. I'm in Australia. I needed that last week when I was. Yeah but their house is beautiful. It was just. It's like but how do you not have furniture when you're on on a television show. I WASN'T A. It's not a very already to everyone. Not Yeah but I feel them though. 'cause I just got a house to the same thing like I've been taking my time like like I finally own this house I wanted to be. I don't WanNa Tell uh-huh even though they got me on the what. Is it the Hollywood hip hop tours. You guys just hilarious burned in my house and I think you'll hear that I hear I hear people on the little bus. We Love Chanel. Got The Hollywood hip hop tours and I even even did a snap about this. I'm like does this hilarious will shut up to the Hollywood hip hop tours. And like I feel like I can barely get recognition in the hip hop game but clearly they recognize me because they've gone on their rock and hip hop toilet. I love actually mental. Think about that for a second. Like what ray that's crazy I don't know so Before you finish that thought I wanted to ask you. I don't know if you guys have heard of Rockin but it's something my girlfriend Jamie was telling..

"The thing is going to come back in. I'm chanel west coast. I was like let's do like a wild west coast type thing and so i was in the studio working with producer and songwriter and i'm like let's write something. That's like up hip. Hop song was still a wild west fire fire before way before old town road just putting it out there screen-grabbed confident van dan what you're about to do other dp you're director. Yes dust coming up so as an independent artists like how how do you produce a music video like this honestly so. It's so funny like i started to think like maybe i was meant to be more of like a director producer because when i write songs i'm already thinking about the music video. I literally like oh and then this should have. Everybody's always like dude like it doesn't have one of the songs now have a music video not every on me but i think so visually storyteller exactly yeah so all of the all my music videos came from my mind like there's not one that didn't that somebody else came up with like every single video like even even if it's not me getting the credit for directing like i'm being like this is what i wanna do. This is my vision and and the director really helps me. Bring it to life pretty much. Yeah must be nice you <hes> do you think do you think wrapping is inherent talent or can you learned over the years like this jake paul. I have a chance to become very. I think it will. I think that if you you have rhythm and if you know how to be on beat then you can learn how to route for. Isn't there something in like water the way your water. Is there something like the way your voice sounds that you kinda just born with yeah. No i think that's very true. Plug your tone of voice will produce race to work with told me that and that the reason like he signed me. He was like tone voices. Everything there's a million great singers million great rappers like who cares everybody can frigging sing and rap if you really put your mind to it but it's that that unique tone of voice that makes you stand out your that you know what i'm saying. That's why i'm a pop i swear to god wasn't born a singer yo but his tone and when i hit that fucking pocket you sound unique and like somebody is like yo like that's logan like like they. That's what you need. That's all all you need is for people to recognize you 'cause there's so many people were popping in the. I'm not gonna say knees. There's a couple of huge artists that they'll have a new song. Who is this and. I still don't recognize them. They've had chameleon do you ever i've been list lately like the top fifty rappers like people been doing the top fifty people have been asking. Does your top fifty time for that shit. "I mean, obviously LMU is beautiful campus and we've we did the sleeping giant things last year in that, you know, that's a great, you know, could be a great program, obviously has a history, so keep an eye on them as well. But I don't know. I mean, this is all just, you know, west coast fodder. We obviously probably have talked more about west coast basketball than anyone on the west coast in the past eight, Tim, do don't need to do it ever again. I'm gonna say my party thoughts are New Mexico them, yeah, New Mexico. I, I'm worried I'm worried about New Mexico in San Diego State. I'm gonna say that because New Mexico, are you aware that Carlton brag is is at New Mexico. Now, how old is it out and brag there? Is he like right, like win. When we stop. Carl Carlton brag aka the original Brian Bowen. Is. Is that New Mexico, but so is Jay Quan Lyle who is the original Carlton brag? And I'm just worried I worried about New Mexico in that regard of just you got two guys down there that are, I don't know. You can have one, it's it's the, isn't this like a universal theory across like every sport, you can have one crazy guy. You have to have one appoint. Yeah, you can have one Rodman, but that's yet it. Yeah, you can have one Dennis Rodman one runner test, Jay, Jay Quan Lyle and Carlton brag and same locker room. I'm a little worried about what what's happening with New Mexico who has a pretty good program that we've probably should've mentioned a little more on this box. Also San Diego State Tate. I ask you, this, are you? Do you have any ideas coaching? Saint Augustine right now? I, I said, I would guess a former St. Fisher assistant right gotta be a backdrop from the past. Is that correct? Yeah, you are correct. Thank you. I don't know there. I got your Brian duchess's his name duchy they go, isn't it? Yeah, they go Brian Dutcher, but I think that will streets the point of life. I don't know. I, he's not necessarily back which I'm not. I'm not calm down San Diego State fan. I'm not saying he sucks. I'm just, we're saying we missed. I would've really liked to see San Diego State. I don't know, bring her someone really, really good. Oh, like Rick, Pitino idol. No, that'd be cool. I don't know what I'm saying Tate. I just I just I'm worried about Saito say, 'cause they, they had a thing going for second. Then Steve Fisher could necessarily win and they say tournament and the now they just have potential. I never like it when I'd never ever like it when the guy who's like the best coach at a program leaves and then they hire within, I never liked that move unless it's Tim, thank it. Yeah, unless Tim too, Tim Jenga vich. Oh, Tim, j yeah. Yeah. Yeah, we that's the only time Brown's the best coach history. Yes, a hundred percent. Yes. It's I mean in basketball? Yes, absolutely. No doubt about it. All right, let's get the dirty laundry cloudy of stories or what I got some stories. Kyle just woke up, classic west coast badge, like, what are you guys are gonna talk about basketball. This is wild. I went to a big east school and took a geography class with some of the some of the basketball team. One of my friends was the manager on the team, so I knew some of the guys made the mistake of agreeing to be in their group for product about Japan. I asked the starting small forward who a top one hundred crew couple years before to put together one slide on the physical geography. I e mountains oceans, just basically where it is in the world so that he would have some contribution the night before the project was, do. We're supposed to present our slide to the front of the class. I get the once live from him. I look at the slide and even with my low expectations, I'll never forget what he said. Japan, sit in the ocean. NIA say, we didn't use a slide redid it. Then had him read the words off during that. I mean, I mean, show me the like, I'll show me the lie that one Japan is in the ocean. It sit in the ocean tight. Yeah, that's a good project. I don't understand the problem with that one. Yeah, I've a I I wanted to fed was like. We will. We do the dirty laundry last time. Last season..

"Back where. Like they're landing recruits that they shouldn't be landing and they play like a really fun style of basketball, and they got the flashy shit going on, and they're basically like Miami football is now where people think Miami's people get tricked into thinking Miami's like good again because they were the turnover chain and they tried to get swag going and all that kind of stuff. But like they're not actually like if you can get back to that level that would do wonders for for the the west coast. But in general, dude, like if you actually look at at the the non like this year, certainly. But just overall, I mean. Gonzaga's probably the best program in in out west. It's like Zagre, Arizona right now and get zag is definitely better going into the season with. We've arrived at a point where like the the mid majors out west seemed to be better than the major conferences, but that that kind of comes back to what I'm talking about shouldering the brunt of like I have to carry the torch for west coast basketball. Do you think that Mark view and Gonzaga's ever thought that? I don't think so. I, you know, if there's care, they don't care. They're just running a program and that's why I think it's kind of a curse again. I mean, as gift in occurs to be, you know, Arizona UCLA. I mean, it's cool to be top dogs and everything on the west coast, but everyone's looking at you every single year and people they tap out out here. You know what I mean as soon as Arizona loses to Colorado on the road. You know, people are like, well, there goes, there goes that season. We gotta figure out what to do with Shawn Miller. I don't know if we should keep him and you know what I mean? And I feel like it's cyclical which I guess me back to the Bank Bank question I wanna ask you which. Has. If those are the two premier programs, do they have premier coaches that can actually get them to that level? Because I, I don't know, I don't know about offered..
