Dr Fauci says it will happen if Corona virus infections continue to rise, told USA Today the country's in a vulnerable position because it's impossible to control surges with current volume of cases. Amazon doubled its profit during the pandemic

"Given this huge surge of demand. How profitable has two thousand and twenty pm for emerson. Well it looks like in terms of its of its revenues. It's just off the scale. Really a big big on both the top and bottom line. We've got revenue coming in amazon. Report is third quarter results. Companies revenues were ninety. Six point one. Five billion dollars is not income. Increased to six point. Three billion dollars in the third quarter. That's nang well. The stock is up almost two percent here after hours. Mike that's quite a bottom line. Beat here for amazon operating cash flow increasing fifty six percent. Everything he's going through the roof. I mean the numbers are so big that have no sense really of what they mean but i can tell they made the amazon has done very very well and so that leads me into my next question. Is this a company that pays its taxes and plays fairly in the marketplace so there are huge questions about amazon taxes. They pay the taxes all over the world. The question is how much tax they pay. So in september it was reported that its sales in the uk had surged fourteen billion pounds but it paid only two hundred ninety million pounds in uk tax. Now that as far as i understand it is because the level of profit that it declares is relatively small but it's turnover and its revenues arguably speak for themselves and that's a huge source of control busy so for example in two thousand eighteen in the usa amazon posted income more than eleven billion dollars but the company paid nothing in federal taxes. Nothing nothing and that's because they would say well they've only just started to turn a profit

Nutrition for gravel cycling with Kristen Arnold

"This week on podcast. We've got sports nutritionists and professional cyclists. Kristen arnold kirsten has a masters degree in science and human nutrition from ohio. State university is a usa level to cycling coach with source endurance. End racist professionally with the butcher box racing team. I've always got a million questions about nutrition and it certainly a topic. That's coming up in the new ridership for them. Kirsten helps us break down. What to think about eating the week before an event during an event and after an event i thought it'd be useful to think about it in that context just because a lot of us these big events. One hundred miler. That's a big unusual ride for us. We're not doing that every month in are cycling career. We're just kind of peaking for something. That is really extreme in terms of what our body is used to. So it's important to kind of think about that not only in your physical preparation but also nutrition and hydration. Christine does a great job of breaking down the things you should be thinking about before the event during the event to give yourself the best chance for success. She's got some fantastic takeaways for us. All and a few little tricks that i hadn't thought about so. I hope you enjoyed this episode. Let's jump right in kristen. Welcome to the show. Thanks for having me craig. I'm excited to get into the topic of nutrition with you. But i always like to set the stage for the listener to get a little bit more of an understanding about your background. Since you've got a background both professionally. Nutritionist but also as a professional cyclist once you give us a little bit of both okay So i kind of make my living in three different ways right now and I went to school for nutrition. So i have an undergraduate degree and dietetic and then got my registered dietitian or credential Ended up getting my masters of science and human nutrition then became a certified specialist sports dietetic. So i was in school for eight years Nutrition and So open my private practice. Sports died headaches. Company in twenty fourteen and then started coaching Cycling in sixteen hour with source endurance. And i've been reading on the professional road circuit and twenty sixteen and now rethink for butcher. Box pro cycling. Wow that keeps you busy. Yeah we've had a couple episodes recently where we've touched on things that i would fall in the realm of nutrition and i was excited when we connected just to bring you on board and talk from the athlete's perspective about how my listeners might improve their overall nutrition nutrition and such because such a massive field and something that everybody needs to spend time thinking about and integrating into their lives. I thought we would just think about it from the perspective of an athlete. Who may be only doing a handful of events a year so not a professional cyclist by any means but someone who's peaking for an event that may be way out of the ordinary for them so think about like a two hundred mile gravel race an sp t gravel or amid south gravel event. So let's try to break down the conversation by starting. You know if you have one of those big peaks senior year. How should you be approaching it. Nutritionally in the week leading up. And then how should you be approaching your nutrition during the event. Okay all right so we're gonna talk about the week before and the day of a big event There is some research to show that what people call carb loading is effective. And what this means is that you are eating High proportion of your calories up to seven to ten grams per kilogram body weight of carbohydrates per day. and what's that doing. it is super saturating or glycogen stores so for endurance athletes especially cyclists with these long gravel event Even though a lot of the time you'll be below threshold the majority of the type of effort. You're going to be doing it. Relies on glycogen and so the main goal with Going into the event to make sure that those lijun thursday or as full as possible if not fuller than they normally are And then that also goes for hydration so ulta making sure that we have adequate hydration stores and meeting knows with fluid and electrolyte so short version of that is to Continuously e carbohydrate rich foods throughout the day for up to a week before the event and then also making sure to hydrate well with electrolytes every day consistently throughout the day.

How You Can Make It as an Online Hair Educator

"Well come along to help you. Cut it in the hairdressing industry. Podcast my name's dom lane and this podcast as you just heard in the intro is one. I've been wanting to have for a long time particularly as we are now here in england in our next lockdown and many of you are thinking about a new direction in where you go in so who could be better than actually talking about online education than one of the best. I believe in the business. A huge fan of is our love style so delighted to welcome onto the show. The incredible chris. Moody chris welcome to how to cut it down. Thank you so much you such a pleasure to be here. I have to tell you real tingo just as as the show is stocking up there. It's it's such a privileged. This really is the gold standard of podcasting. It really is so excited to be on it. Thank you so inviting the suic- solano just before coming on and you know a saint. I'm i'm i have been a big fan of us for a long time and you know if there's anything we can learn from when it comes to be an educator is you really chris i know you deliver it to so many people i mean. How many people have you do you. Reckon youth now educated in hairdresser to become educated. I dunno most i dunno domino must tens of thousands in the last is really amplified in the last nine months since we went into our original lockdown in march all of our businesses pivoted since march. I think i've done about three hundred and fifty four hundred events. The biggest event is probably had about fifteen hundred people on so And most of the mavericks between fifty and one hundred people on a lot of those event so just in in this year alone in twenty it must be thousands but over the years maybe tens of thousands. I don't know i'm very privileged. I feel really blessed that people come and listen actually so it's really humbling. Think he's become such a big part now. There are so many people the want to become hairdressing educators. I suppose because there are so that you know that a lot of headdresses out there and ha handwriting education has become so accessible but also think you know in the uk all of the uk and island addressing has always been at a very very high standard. And i think people are recognizing in order to compete in to maintain that standard and to keep sort of pushing the barriers education has become more important than ever. It's not enough now to just simply learn your craft over three years or whatever and then you go into your behind the chair unpracticed. Craft things are changing all the time. Fashion technology styles of people are recognizing that they need to keep up with it. So i think as more and more an then it becomes cyclical as more people recognize. How much more there is to learn. The more people feel the need to learn it so it becomes absolutely anita you. You must hear it so often there where people say yet. I want to go into becoming an educator. And that's what. I wanna do ready today. Christie's learned from you the stuff that you take. Because i just to clear up the you have a few kind of different ports where platforms way you educate you. Chris just give us a quick heads up on those that you do provide in people that are interested in becoming educators. While i work a lot for a couple of different brands i work a lot for a global brand of which it has many different subsidiaries and do a lot of education for them Helping teach their trainers and helping to sort of evolve their education. I have some partners in the usa. I work with one of my original teachers. Guy chris barron who's a still a mentor and coach to get mine. And i'm fortunate that i now partner with chris on some platforms of the us in north america within. And i also. I'm part of a program here in the uk called the high performance educated with good friend and business partner. David barnard as well as well as doing some of my own stuff but primarily. I'm working in partnership with other people off or offer major brands for global brands. Now i interviewed. James atkinson the life. Who's a very good friend of mine. He's pretty good friend of yours. To and i said to him. I said chris just there seems to be so many things that you've grown in. The industry has leader name. And i think. I'm curious to actually know who you are. Chris because i see what you do with the education but just give a bit of back history to use the person that you are and how you've got to wear you wall well i. I'm just a working class lot from nov town. I originate from bombs bonds lease really good for producing headdresses. I don't know why bombs lease home to josh. Would andrew barton robert eating. The American Dream Daughter: A Conversation With Author Karla Cornejo Villavicencio

"When carla was one and a half years old. Her parents left her in their native ecuador in the care of family members while they emigrated to new york city the plan was they would work for one year to save up enough money to pay off their debt and then they'd come home but barely making ends meet. One year turned into four so they decided to have god led join them in their new home. She was just about to five years old growing up away from her. Parents would ever permanent effect on carla and shape her and her work to this very day therapist. After therapist told me i had attachment issues and that my mental illness related to my childhood. God is a dhaka recipient and at least on paper. She's the realization of the american dream for immigrant parents. She went to harvard now. She's pursuing a phd at yale but the constant pressure to be the perfect high-achieving hardworking child has oftentimes been a mental health nightmare. For god. Laugh once you hear your parents come home and their body is wrecked at the end of the day. And you know they've earned like little very little money and they look at you and they say i do this for you. You can't forget that for the rest of your life and you're bound to them. As down with god led to talk about intergenerational wounds mental health in the latino community and how we can take care of each other. God-like gordon hobie abby. Sense your to latino say thank you for having me. So you're writing this book as an immigrant with no you know essentially legal status. Was it difficult to harness your feelings while you were writing this book. Yeah there's just ways of describing my anger about the notions of citizenship and deserving this and privilege one of the original introductions was this fantasy that i've had since i was a little girl which was A hostage situation at a bank and all of the hostages were way blond. Children women cops firefighters people who are deemed innocent and heroes. And i walk into the bank and i'm undocumented and somehow even though i have no idea how to hold a gun i'm able to like russell begun out of the terrorist hands. Shoot the terrorist in the knees or somewhere. That's like not gonna kill him. Because i want to kill him in the hostages. Go out like they're all freed. And i'm wearing a slip because i also wanna look beautiful right which is also like a reference to two thousand six immigration marches where we all had to wear way. Then i walk out. And it's like swat teams are there and like everyone's there and of course isis there to arrest me because i'm the foreigner in my hair's in the breeze and everyone takes my photo and i'm like on the front cover of every national newspaper and i get my citizenship. That's that was my fantasy. Ever since i was a kid. That's how i got my citizenship. God it's like you have to do extraordinary acts of the hollywood magic and then you are rewarded your citizenship. I guess i'm stuck on the fact that you were having fantasies like this as a child. And i just wanna take a moment for people to think about that while other little kids are thinking about who knows there are undocumented children in this country who dream and have fantasies about somehow some miraculous situation that gives them the thing that your child takes for granted every day it's really burdensome to have to perform goodness and innocence and perfection And i know that as a kid who are as a person now is a thirty year old woman who is on the outside on paper such a poster child for the american dream. And i've never performed it. But it's so imposed on me and i described my own complex feelings about it in the buck. Like i really drank the kool aid of sociability. Very early on when i was a child and became fixated on accomplishment and success and being able to win day retire. My parents even now Am fully aware and very self aware of the intergenerational trauma issues in our community and in my own family and everything. But i still don't think i i know who i am as a person outside of the way. My personal accomplishments can result in the alleviation of pain for my parents and the documented community. If you were to take that away from me. I don't know who i am as a person and i think that's true for a lot of children of immigrants who have become successful.

"Adviser but to to dominate the course of the department's policies in a way that almost seems difficult to to to imagine from the from the outside god yeah and and just put a finer point on what what column said i mean obviously every administration stacks bureaus and departments with with people well who aligned with them politically. That's how our system works <hes>. I think what was different here. Is that <hes> a lot of these people who were seen as more politically powerful more well connected connected with this <hes> inner circle of white house advisers were not senate confirmed positions. They fell below the threshold of congressional oversight here. They were the senior advisors in this and that bureau or adviser here in u._s._a. Where does this leave a secretary pompeii on the state department. What sorts of actions have they signaled. Keep his job. <hes> we do understand that senior state department officials are addressing the i o bureau about that in a town hall <hes> <hes> at least this week to help try and right the ship you know repair the damage that's been done but this does present a lot of questions i think for secretary pompeii on on his leadership pump heo came in after tillerson was very ungracious. Lee fired from his job. The tweet last march and he famously vowed to restore the state department swagger. That's what he calls it. You know after over a year of dozens of empty senior posts have hiring freeze of have a secretary of state that didn't seem connected either with rank and file diplomats or with the white house itself. Pompeo came in and said you know i'm going to i'm going to boost morale. <hes> i'm going to bring back some good management <hes> and to his credit from what we understand from diplomats we've talked to he has taken a lot of steps to lift a hiring freeze is in power career foreign service officers as well as political appointees on and take other steps to help with the management but against this backdrop..

"It became clear to me that most of the people who are actually making the porn that we are watching a society. Most of them are men yes and most of them. Are you know kind of similar to each other <music> this little group of men that are kind of into you know boobs and gars ha it kind of sexual but it's not actually a diverse group of people from different backgrounds as sexualities his and identities countries and you know all of it that that's not really happening so we are seeing in what we you know kind of call mainstream stream on what we are seeing its vision of sexuality. You're correct and it's interesting because they speak to a lot of men who like like what a lotta ladies like. They're like i like a man who looks like me who has sex like me and there isn't that much worn out there for me. You like that and i was like how interesting that men. They're like a lot of men like porn from a female perspective told me and i think that's why a lot of men are like by like watching lesbians and i'm like yeah probably because women are softer with each other ryan each other and i don't like that blowjob outburst lake hold a woman on that that force john they do sometimes even tila woman vomit and i mean this is all i get so tired. I'm talking about because i lose could work but it's like the problem problem is that i do love born. Tastic another has a great potential and that can really bring lots to us yes but at the same time hi the reality i mean most people if they go out on the internet which new and the porn serve they end up at all these kind of tube sites. It's you know when you're showing free porn which is not really free porn because actually stolen port your money. It's called free porn and i think the question about that so there's ads that run so these people not being paid through the ads well very little. It's it's a complicated structure because actually these companies. Basically it's one big company. It's one big company owning most of these free to. I don't know it because you think that you see many different brands so you think like owned so many more companies hiddink lori l. and i just learned that yeah totally an this is big conglomerates this big big pharma fashion and big porn the price but that's how it is honestly. I didn't know that and that's kind of wild yeah yeah. It's kinda wild but then but we we we have to really understand is that <hes> so so what they are interested is obviously not showing you the best possible diverse in u._s._a. That's out there in the world. That's not what they are after they are after the traffic because if need lots of traffic they can sell advertising. What kind of advertisement are they selling well. Mostly you know grow your they make your titties bigger. Make your juicier and i'm like i've never wanted a slutty. <hes> in your neighborhood. That's the kind of asset they are so yes and the thing is that people believe fit. They do believe so these all these kind of lonely guys having very sad stikes lives they are only sites and a you know think that maybe this dick pills idea that they do fill into credit cards details and then when the pills arrive save and they don't work they don't go to the police nope. They stu angrily in their basement. Let me watch another forced blowjob video exactly they're opening window after window after window and it's just like you know the sex machines going on on on on on and it's so much i mean what what the frustrates me is is the language that i see on all these of course the images no all the kind of of of women serving men that frustrating but upped also the language that they are using. You know. It's a very misogynistic race. It is because i don't like on these sites that black specific traffic porn is called ebony porn avenue station latina. It's we are all getting divided all but white folks. Yes ask because god god. You're really fucking breaking it down. It's making me angry because white people don't have a category.

"The cases because that's kind end of what that that type of that's the main focus but it's both against other military members and against civilians <hes> it doesn't it doesn't it's not limited to only military specific offenses. It's as long as they're in the military. The military may try to be the ones who prosecute instead of local prosecutor okay so we really see the full full picture wow does does anyone ever say. You can't handle the truth. I had this moment yeah you got to witness on the stand and you're going back and forth and i'm up in their face and they say something like that. I love those moments. Juries love it too they. They like that's the only they're waiting for all week long. If we don't have a moment like that after the trial the jury will come up to us and they'll be like why why wasn't it wasn't why wasn't there more i wanted. It's something else so before we get into more of that in some cases and so forth but i just melissa skit real unruffled second. You've got five kids. How do you do the work life balance working professionals nationals and <hes> we'll talk about your commentators. Would you say commentator right yeah. That's true okay how you do it well. It's it's definitely an interesting. <hes> and we have nia a non traditional setup. I guess we work primarily from home and we have very flexible schedules. <hes> we have help with the kids obviously obviously otherwise we could never even take a phone call and we are. We're pretty much used to every day being different and being able to kind of run and do something that was just like yeah. Yeah creates a totally different day right because you know started the day early this morning. I'm on the computer talking to clients katie's doing the best she can to run after some kids because we're low on child support or on child care right now and so she's running around with the kids. I'm getting work done and then her mom's coming over so that we can come. Do the show with you but that's any day of the week things like that happen. Yeah have you ever had. I'm sure you have when <hes> my almost four year. Old was maybe four months old my we. We had a childcare issue when i was home and take a professional call while trying to hold the baby and trying to manage the mute button and wasn't very literally story of my life. Take a mike okay yeah. We try to limit that but sometimes you have to take call or i'll tell clients hey. I'm home right now but you know what you need sorry. There's a lot of noise in the background. At least i try to be really honest with our clients situation. I think i think that's when you get yourself in trouble really in any profession but certainly in the law. It's when you start start to try to create something. That's not real. That's people will very quickly understand that you say i'm home. I'm home this week. I'm working out of the house this week. <hes> call me anytime. I'll we'll take a phone. Call at eleven o'clock at night but if you call me at two o'clock in the afternoon there might be kidding background at the end of the day the brain power is the same right you at the same brain the same information in sata live of your life yeah exactly so speaking of that <hes> because we're on the news all the time. How did how did that happen well katie so we've always this kind of had an interest in talking and getting our opinions out there but nobody really wants to hear it traditionally until wrote an op ed last last year when <hes> cavanaugh was running for or was elected or nominated for the supreme court. That's a great story great story but katie really unique perspective you've because we defend people who are accused of sexual assault all the time and so she wrote this this op ed that was published in u._s._a..

"Three eastern sundays three pacific six eastern. We've got a lot. The news get into on the show here today and obviously big story. This weekend is the situation with annex t and the u._s._a. Network we talked about this this. Actually we didn't talk about this on friday but the news broke after the show went off the air on friday it appears and we can't tell you for sure i'll tell you why in a little while but it does appear that x t is moving to the u._s._a. Network starting soon and buy soon. I don't mean this coming week but probably before a._w._s. Kicks off on it t._n._t. W._b. Talking with one for a long time about putting the annexed next show on f s one head to head with the awa show eva's one is in significantly fewer homes than the u._s._a. Network too big story lori headaches t moving to one and going head to head with a w going u._s._a. Network is a much much bigger story for many reasons not the least of which they were negotiating with fox and then the last second they went back to u._s._a. Network the idea u._s._a. Network versus f s one viewership is going. It'd be much higher on u._s._a. Than f s one vince is desperate to beat a w head to head on wednesday nights but obviously if the show is on the usa network i thought it was maybe possibly a chance that if the show were on f s one and triple h would be allowed to be charged for a little while there but there's zero chance chance there is zero chance this show goes to the u._s._a. Network that vince is not going to be all over this show the days of annex t as an an hour long show on the w network that we all know in love well those days are over and it's.

That's a great story because the unseen challenge that you're talking about which i get out roll. We'll add that in the show. Notes of <hes> was s cab or sipe sipe pab is i could see the the billboard ad it's like imagine being hacked on your company off site right like that sort of imagery is so powerful i could you imagine how frigging stupid you would feel if you know your c._e._o. Got hacked when knbr you're sitting at <hes> you're sitting at the cafe in <hes> you know in the middle of napa valley tonight that right like but that's a really crystal clear value prop crop that your customer might not know that you know other people use the customer are using. That's one of those things that i think it it doubles for prospects prospects and for customers 'cause those new use cases of like hey. Did you know some of our customers are using the product for this like that some of the best <hes> you know fodder for newell's so you can get yeah absolutely absolutely. What's your favorite campaign that you've ever done other than the the amazing <hes> the amazing in u._s._a. Today one all right. You put me in a tough spot by saying other than u._s._a. Today the other one. I think we did was <hes> back. In the days for a security company as well <hes> we ran a campaign called domain health check and that campaign was everyone should go visit a doctor every now and then and will visit how when was it last that you took your domain to a doctor ella sell that's the approach we took and we had a huge depositary of intelligence without you being a customer you just go put any domain name and i'll tell you if there are any email spam spam associated with your domain. Are there any bad websites associated with your domain so i'll give you a lot of intelligence even before you became a customer so that was a campaign in reading and they will graphics very cool other campaign <hes> sub campaigns associated with it and that resulted in i think two million dollars and quarterly pipeline without doing anything while how'd you how'd you promote it adds all stuff on digital age so on any replaces that people are reading about domain spam antivirus <hes> network security so we re stood digital art on the places. "It's not being considered at this time but he's looking at all options out there to try and give people back so much of the hard order and money they've made but if there were to be a temporary payroll tax being considered what might draw the conclusion that there is a need to stimulate mutilate the economy the economy that obviously the white house and the president is still on very strong ground well. I there's a payroll tax cut not a payroll tax because we are always looking to give people back their hard earned money and that's what the conversation was about. I was in the meeting yesterday. We talked about all types of options. That's what the conversation it was about. He said the conversation he'd just denied taking place about a payroll tax. Cut about concerns. The white house denies having about an economy the president today call quote incredible and that is incredible more now on this with former obama senior adviser david axelrod currently c._n._n. Senior political commentator so c._n._n. Political analysts in u._s._a. Today columnist i and powers jefferson i mean i guess for me. The question is should at this point. Anyone believe outright anything that comes out of the white house just because it just seems like every day there's an example of they say something they deny something and the president cuts cuts them off at the knees yeah well. I think ah the short answer is no. I don't think that you can believe it and i think that <hes> the president was given way too much credit for a booming blooming economy. That's always been my opinion because the economy actually has not been as booming or stable as the white house has has led people to believe and there's been a lot of concern among economists that we may be hitting for for a recession recently. There was a survey where three out of four of the nation's top economists said that they they are very fearful that we're headed for a recession and the thing that they named as being the biggest problem is the president's trade war so it is the president's behavior <hes> that has has has has helped <hes> hasten a recession that many people were worried about. I think that clearly they're concerned about it or they wouldn't be even talking about a payroll payroll tax cut david..

"Has hooked their wagon so much to the w._w._e. W. e. having so much w._w._e. Related shoulder programming like ms and mrs and the steve austin show and all that sort of stuff it will be and it won't be just the fault alta. This and losing smackdown is going to be big though but you know the thought of of u._s._a. Slipping to the point where turner station beats them at a time. Were awa debuts on turner station if it happens to be t._n._t. But either way that is really going to be another kick in the groin. I would assume to u._s._a. They'd w._w._e. And i don't know how close that is to happening or anything like that but one of the reasons that u._s._a.'s freaking out so much in needs so much help with programming and the reason that they're so damn i am relying on w._w._e. Is the fact that they are slipping so that's just another thing that is interesting to me as the season goes on and again. I don't know how much the fall all season is going to tilt things either way outside of the wrestling shows but i'm really interested to see once the year ends exactly where those turner station stand against u._s._a. Talk about september so the show is going to begin two weeks early. It's going to get a two week headstart on a._w._s. September eighteenth and a._w._s. starts on october second. Gonna get two weeks of unopposed an x._t. Head to head and all of these decisions. I feel like the idea that this is all going to hurt a w. This is going to be a negative for a w. I mean a lot of these things. I think our benefits awa the whole the whole idea of establishing wednesday nights as is a wrestling night for two full weeks before awa even kicks off on a wednesday night the idea that they're running from full sail in a._w._s. Going to be an all of these sold sold out arenas. I mean whatever the size four thousand to twenty thousand seat buildings or every single one of them is sold out so far i mean i can't imagine w. me staying in full sail more than a couple of weeks after after a._w._s. They're they're very good. Think about this. The people that do production for e w are the people that were doing production for impact or impact would have like eight hundred thousand people in a building and they would shoot it to make it look like he was packed well now. They're actually going to be the impact buildings so i can't imagine vince mcmahon watching a._w._s. Packed building and then watching his show from full sail and not quickly deciding citing dude..

"They get their no no but still i mean it's it's kind of telling you know it's not an institutional edict with a meeting going. Here's here's how you're going to talk about. This and we are going to make sure it's a big deal. That isn't happening so yeah any any initial prediction on on who wins the first week of october the first one's about tober in terms of iranians life fewer ship. I'm going with a._w._s. W even though i say they should be viewed as the underdog i think to start with. There's going to be so much curiosity there and hey annexed. He does have a couple of weeks to build up to a big show <hes> so i- reserved the right to change my opinion but right now i do think there's just going to be so much curiosity then it's going to and and also counting on some sort of a good marketing push from turner from the khan family whatever it takes to spread the word uh-huh and then it like one is going to be very interesting of course but it's what happens after that and they're still so many unanswered questions here. There's there's unanswered. Questions about art is annexed ready for two hours creatively. <hes> you know i think they do have enough talent but they have their format and works well. They don't give too much way will now. Are they going to be asked to give more way. It's also an extra hour and that that ring some difficulties and then on the a._w._s. They've never done this and so it's very interesting one cares what do you feel like by putting an x. t. on opposite eighty w in a weird way does that send send a message that eighty w inferior that they're competing with our third brand. I think so but i think it's i think it's a it. It doesn't seem like an insult because it seems fair like if you get hired at a new job you don't get the corner office with all the windows somebody with more seniority does if you're the new kid in town on competing with the behemoth of w._w._e. We're not gonna vote rob smackdown against you. Look what happened with impact where we're gonna do now. It works out in the sense that there's believable believable plausible deniability and really genuine deniability wednesdays are night. We've triple eight to keep saying it. We've been on wednesdays. We've we've wanted to increase our platform. Awa just happens to be launching and it is sort of coincidental timing wise when there's a shakeup in our schedule and smacktalk movement from tuesday to friday and switching networks. U._s._a.'s used to having four hours per person week. They weren't going to have three now. They're gonna five again. Wednesday nights aren't height. Just don't read into this folks. This would have happened anyway. Maybe not quite as soon or maybe would have you know. Maybe it would have happened. I i don't know i don't know i mean if you're doing a weekly show and you have. I don't know i mean you may be. Maybe you're you're right but i mean two hours this kind of thing now so i don't know i but nevertheless i don't. I don't think people are looking at this as a slap in the face day w that don't let media food annex t u k yes but sorry but you know it that'd be different but but that almost be waving the white flag i mean you're just it's not going to have that's this feels fair. People love annexed and and people are really excited about a._w._s. Love aspects of it. There are people well. I'm among them. Were a little concerned about what is going to fill two hours a week of a._w._s. Booking vision you know what what are they gonna do. I don't know all right guys. "Is more and more palpable. Are you concerned that more players will turn down going tokyo in two thousand one no <hes> i think a lot of players pulled out this year because of the timing of what the world cup is having it in september right before for the start of the season. Let's just think of coury was actually healthy. He went to the n._b._a. Finals and then he would have played in this thing where they started in august going all the way to end of september and then he's gonna go to n._b._a. Training camp camp no that's not going to happen. A lot of stars wanna work on their game but next year when it's time to represent u._s._a. I truly believe a lot of the stars are going to play the timing timing of it. The olympics aren't the same time of the counter like this butting up right against training camp and that's part of the realistic part of why guys are also just as much as it's about honoring flag and and being there for your country it's also marketing opportunity and the olympics are or a grander stage than the world cup is and so i think you'll see some players being more interested to help their off court brand by joining the olympic team versus the welcome to go back talk about the n._c._a._a. Before the maybe one of the few organizations as messed up as as fiba and fiba changing the world cup to be off of the soccer world cup and having having in this year means you have tournament back to back years and that means guys essentially have to play almost two years in a row two playable tournaments don't wanna do that jerry colangelo said on that scrimmage broadcast casio at an m._b._a. T._v. that this could become a tournament for basically twenty three and under guys in the future. Maybe where like young guys like jayson tatum donovan mitchell bearn fox. Those are the guys who wanna play way to try to get in the team u._s._a. Mixed play in the olympics down the road because the veterans don't want to do that and i think fee but trying to make this into a grand spectacle. The guys want to be part of instead of having it overshadowed by soccer. I think could really be something backfires big time because if this was last year i think more guys maybe play if they have the year in the middle..

"It just may be the most rewarding to do that. You do today all right. Let me ask you guys one. They're going to announce the n._b._a. Scheduled today. It doesn't exactly get excited like finding out who's gonna play who win the n._f._l. But can i make a prediction about that schedule. Yes sir. It's miss christmas day the lakers against somebody good call by the way we you surprised to see vegas making. The lakers favored to win the championship. Of course i am you. You remember all right. This is what i wouldn't ask you. Do you guys do either of you. Know the answer this with ryan but i'm gonna ask mitch purse either of you have any sympathy for carmelo anthony's current circumstances where he even offered himself at the age of thirty five to team in u._s._a. And they said no thank you and can i get a job connected and by the way who has been as bob knows. Bob is seen some of the games he has been i and honored olympian because they put them in a perfect role. Come off the bench. Make four three sit out okay if it is true that he is willing now finally finally to accept mortality and come off the bench happily and do what he did in those olympics and and fine if that's true he says that's true then i would say yes that <hes> that they ought to be a roster spot and then league somewhere for camilla the anthony. How could they check in the laker. There's no place on him if they can work out the financials for him to to do what i just described was his olympic rule for the los. Ah it's astonishing get a job. Well okay. He can't get a job because of what bob said everybody. Hey buddy in the league. Who's in the know knows his mentality and knows when you put them on a team. He's not going to just go except that that spot roll well. I think the only reason he wants to go volunteer for the usa team is because he wants to use it as a trial to try to show people he can still play. We can get a job but vince carter is still in the league and he's forty two. It's not the age it's what role are you willing to play absolutely mike carmelo. Anthony can still play basketball for any any team if he's willing to say i will do this limited thing and that's it but you know what happens the minute he gets in there. Everybody starts talking to him. And why aren't you playing more. I'm and i'm gonna depressed. I'm not really getting on. Maybe i'm not happy here but there's a reason he's bounced around so many teams given the fact that he had such raw offensive talent when when he was younger so i don't think it's age. I think it's acceptance of role. Nobody's gonna say that out loud but i think that's what the g._m.'s are saying to each other mitch and bob. Here right exactly so you've got to networks tied into one side of this war so that'll be interesting yeah. I think it's going to be fascinating to to see how quickly an all eat wrestling adapts to a streaming service. That's the part where I think it'll be interesting. I I think <hes> you know obviously all eat wrestling audience and we've talked about the average viewer of pro wrestling isn't necessarily a ten year old but it also isn't a seventy year old north. I'm saying they're more for a tech savvy consumer and obviously with the W._b.. Network E._S._P._N.. Plus a bleacher report live all of these streaming services. I think the most fascinating part is going to be how long does it take all eat wrestling go from hey. We're on T._N._T.. Each week isn't that cool. Isn't that neat to hey. We're on T._V.. Each week isn't that cool as that and then also..
