A Prayer for Greater Confidence in God

"Confidence in god by meg bucher read by liam martin. Now when all the people were baptized. And when jesus also had been baptized and was praying the heavens were opened and the holy spirit descended on him in bodily form dove and a voice came from heaven. You are my beloved son with you. I am pleased luke. Three twenty one through twenty two soft thick flakes of snow accumulated an illuminated. The dark hours of morning. It's a marshmallow day my youngest daughter exclaimed. She bounded down the stairs online school cancellations and quarantines hadn't told her wonder and excitement for data to play in the snow. I'd overheard her praying for marshmallow day the night before my husband and i watched the weather and anticipated a snow day but her surprised joy overflowed onto me as her smile. Lit up the room that morning. The sky lit up the day. Jesus was baptized a day. Four told in scripture alongside so many prophecies fulfilled by christ's early life death and resurrection. John who had simply come to prepare the way for jesus baptized him. As the dove hovered. Over christ's heavenly had in. God spoke that he was pleased. Luke mentions the baptism of jesus almost in passing the new bible. Commentary explains he wants his readers to know that jesus was praying at the time and above all that he received a divine revelation. Prayer is powerful. An often overlooked daily. We rush about powering through difficulty and hardship without laying at the feet of our savior. We don't ask for help glance up to say thank you. We fail to get quiet enough to listen for in here. His encouraging guiding voice of wisdom comfort direction

Anything that would lead to something like this. The way i found out was also kind of odd. The only symptom i had was this small flash in my right eye and i was going in to get my contact prescription renewed. Thought i would just mention that and the doctor did see a small bump behind my eye and he said if it grows. We might be concerned if it doesn't. We're not going to be concerned. So i came back a month later grew. I was then forwarded to specialists in this doctor who didn't like the color of this bump behind my right eye and he was actually the one to have me get a full body pet

Going to be Going to affect us and twenty twenty five and twenty thirty twenty forty one of the very shocking statistics that i've read and i believe this is true. Is that rents in ontario. And mrs this this was a A very you know very very well respected economists. that wrote this reports had had Estimate that by the year twenty forty rents in toronto. Could d in the four thousand a month range. Now unless you're in the rental market and you and you've handled Properties were you rented over the last twenty years You may or may not believe it but someone who's rented properties out And handled obviously many of my clients properties. This is not that far off simply because in the two thousands early two thousands but the average rental was a thousand something that was pretty pretty straightforward thousand. Fifteen hundred whatever Twenty ten twenty twenty things jumped out so obviously you know fifteen hundred to two thousand so basically by twenty twenty Two thousand a month ish is not that far off. You'll you'll you'll probably know you might even be one of the people paying that much per month in rent

Republicans Work to Rebrand GOP as Party of Working Class

"Donald trump brought more working class voters into the republican party than any other president since ronald reagan now. Republicans are trying to figure out how to keep them. The working class vote will be crucial in next year's midterms. Here's npr congressional correspondent. Susan davis in the last decade. The biggest growth in the republican coalition has been white voters without a college degree along with some growth with similarly educated black and hispanic voters. that's why republicans. Like indiana congressman. Jim banks believe the only winning path forward for the gop is to fully reimagined itself as the party of the working class and if republicans want to be successful as a party when the majority in twenty twenty two win back the white house and twenty twenty four. I think we have to learn lessons that donald trump taught us now to appeal to these voters. Banks is the chairman of the republican study committee but conservative faction in the house. long rooted. in small government low taxes and social conservatism. He recently sent a six page memo to house. Minority leader kevin mccarthy making the case that republicans need to refocus their agenda. Almost entirely on working class appeals for banks. This means tougher immigration laws cracking down on china big tech and perhaps most provocatively for republicans corporate america for too long the republican party said into the narratives that republican party was party of business or the party of wall street. Republicans are increasingly comfortable attacking corporations these days. That's a lot easier for them. After wall street donors gave more to joe biden. Major companies halted political donations to republicans who objected to electoral college results on january six and is companies take more liberal positions on controversial issues like georgia's new voting law senate minority leader mitch. Mcconnell last week issued a rare verbal rebuke of companies that oppose the law. Warning if you will to corporate america's to stay out of politics. It's not what you're designed for.

"For how come no one else is taken to account for what they charge their fans for the most of items. So you're gripe is price gouging. Yes yes it is. Price gouging and how we as americans have just taken on capitalism at these. Sporting events is if it's inevitable that every year season tickets go up that every year the the the price popcorn and sodas going to go up that we don't provide any resistance to these organizations gouging. I feel like any year. This would be a great argument. But after a pandemic like can we can't they just do you really think that when we're back to normal and marlins park whatever full it's going through. They're going to deport again. It's going to go up. It's always be marlins park to me. It's always going to be going up. So i just. How did we get here. I do you propose. We fix this though because i feel like if the whole thing is let's stop buying it. Then they're like well. We're not making enough so we're going to have to raise the prices some more. I mean i would just like for them to make money off concessions classic. The answer is that you make less money. Because you're charging an exorbitant amount for your fans to enjoy a game and you're basically prohibiting people. It's a barrier to entry to sports to going and seeing live sports in your city like make less money. That's okay sometimes. Used to be able to take in food. But i don't think you can this. You can take one bottle of on an open water. I think is the rule. And then you take food if i were them. I wouldn't let you bring in food. Actually i've i've been to another game and the receipts where you can order food from your seat and i looked at the menu and they're a bunch of things that were free so i have never eaten more sour patch kids in my life orientating down the third baseline guy just kept ordering an ordering and so there is our patch kids. Yeah where's this charging you seven fifty for popcorn but they just hand out okay. So the first game. I was sitting higher up right. I was sitting with the people. But i bought ticket just thought they were good seats down with their baseline like four throw from the field. The word that was tuesday night. I think there were that expensive. It's like you know. Want i want good seats little extra money for a good seat and then a server comes up to me and says i'm your server for today. Scan this qr code and we'll bring you food so you scan the qr code you go to the website and there's a bunch of free shit on there and all of a sudden go to the candy it's like.

I've been doing that also. It's been the wheel for my talk. Don't need ronnie cycles putting it in my phone right yeah. You're just showing off to everybody. Who's been listening to this. Podcast john topic. My topic is on the complete opposite end of billionaires which is complaining about things that are too expensive. Went to second marlins game of different though. Because i feel like if you if you if you save your money. You're more likely to be a billionaire. Good point and one of the ways you don't become a billionaire is by spending seven dollars and fifty cents popcorn not even not even a tub that you get in a movie theater. A small pouch of popcorn relative to what you get at a movie theater. And i know this is like the most hackneyed thing in the world but every once in a while the little guy needs to be stood up for the fan. Sports fan is trying to a of four to a sporting event and is spending his hard earned money on this look and i've actually taken a page out of the english primarily because in liverpool a five pound hike on the tickets across ac-. I'm going to do my politics though i'm doing my thing. It rose a five pound hike on season tickets and the fans were so outraged that they cancelled the hike right so if fans stood up for themselves they have legitimate voice so i went to marlins game hot dogs. Like seven dollars showed us like six dollars a popcorn. Seven fifty for nothing about the items. That are the best bargain though. Like i feel like the beers way more expensive. The liquor bro. Yeah i mean beers. Fourteen dollars for a bottle of for a pint. How is this allowed. How is there not a commission. I cannot believe that we've just every year. They probably just hike up the price by a dollar none of us nearby fifty cents. None of us notice and say all right. Well this is just what it costs now and. i don't think there's enough. I'm doing my politics. I don't think there's enough people giving voice to this is completely ridiculous right. It is absurd that you seven dollars and fifty cents for popcorn at a baseball game. Like what are we doing i. I cannot understand why we like. This doesn't get talked about all the time. You don't want for two years. He was from eighty two to eighty four. He was over forty. Six switched to twenty three from eighty. Five doesn't qualify. No i disagree. If he makes baseball reference pages a forty-six macabre started as number twenty and then a year later became twenty four. I still think he's number twenty day again. This is one of those situations where they started their career as a particular number and once they've gotten up to right didn't even want what it is a number here. Yeah exactly what. Company kylie became a billionaire a couple years ago and now kim seems to have joined her in the billionaire clubs. You see there is. There is huge controversy in the kardashian clan when kylie got to it first came. Kim has been jealous about that ever since she did not receive. That knows well. There was something day-long along the lines of not bad for somebody with no talent which is just i mean. That's what everyone says. Wait or how good one of us become a billionaire. Because i think it's pretty impossible at this point. I think it would be like metal. Arc media goes off to the sun We have some stock options in. Turn that into something. I was going to say afterward like forty trillion dollars for any of us to become billionaires. I would then take the you know the sale of metal arc media and do our own thing in bitcoin or also. Billy became an influencer. I think you could. I think you could really rack. And some money about a billion makeup line. A billy make that seems to be the thing that all these million billionaires that they have they have a bunch of these companies. Well that's the thing. Yeah you have. You seems like you have to be an influence and then you have to have a company that takes off afterwards right but one. I don't think that i could be constantly going around telling everyone what i was doing all day every day. So i'd be like a really bad influence. And i also couldn't see myself like even if i wanted to plan it out right where it's like. Okay let me spend this weekend and let me just go off and do like four photo shoots and like i'll take five different outfits and then i'll just do my influencing for the entire month in one day right. I think it really comes down to. I'm not that interesting number one right or i don't find myself to be that interest mitch which is half the battle right. You have to find yourself so interesting that you're in love with your selfie camera you have to definitely think that your the most interesting person the world and like i'm doing this right now. The world needs to know about it or the world. Needs to know what i think about this and i just don't have that i kind of think like i don't even really care about what i think. So why would anyone else care about what i think. We're honestly not a good strategy at nonimmigrant industry to be..

"Ever since it was a small child I remember Tim. Bits of various quantities population many of the happier moments memory. But that's why it's sort of astounding to me. They're finally turning Tim. Bits into a serial The Tim Bit serial story itself starts a little bit of the ways back. I will say that I was very very blessed to be the first person contacted by the Sort of a someone. I'm keeping confidential but cereal vendor who works with the likes of post who teamed up with Tim Hortons to produce the cereal and he told me a while back about a possible. Tim Tim Bit serial and he sent me a picture that showed like a a timber. Assortment pack as a serial so it'd be a combination of powdered. Tim Bits original Tim bits chocolate Tim. Bits and some sort of nutty Tim. It all in one concept. That really astounded me. Until I didn't hear anything about it for about seventy eight months and I got a entirely Harley new. Look at what Tim bit. Syria will actually be so it may be a candidate exclusive but tim bits. Syria will be viewing chocolate glazed and birthday cake flavors in Canada any moment now really. So what are we talking about. Content of this one So I was really excited needed about the assortment packet I because it gave the possibility of many many different flavors. But we've sort of evolved into I hate to say it but it looks more just just like a standard corn puff of treatment of this blessed donut hole. It's very much similar to the hostess cereal in. I don't know why they didn't lead with some of their more flagship flavors When I think of Tim Bits I immediately think of the Apple Fritter? I'm going to have to think that'd be a more reasonable choice for acorn puff than simply the birthday cake approach..

"Tab clear mystery crate excited i'm excited just you mean the miami studio right now anthony antonio tony right right when everybody starts getting voted off the island all of a sudden you're here and you're like hey it's a lot bigger than i've remembered all we've got the kendall alliance we do we do strong year killian guy would be my high school if i were to billy madison my way back in highs right now it's interesting that's an interesting thought by the way going back to high school and doing it all over again but with the allergy you have now oh i'd by so many people beer well now no that's not what beer like drinks beer millennials it's all kids who want to v you wanna you wanna white claw he no laws when you dig into the clause waclaw with me what are we now if you'll creepy yeah can i go back but as like a seventeen year old you go back to your time but i have all the light acknowledge exactly the nause you have not oh man i'd kill dominate kill absolutely dominant yeah do i have all my means that i have is a thirty four year old man ooh good question can i be the thirty four year old father of a secret baby right when i walk into my home but when i walk out or when i walk through the threshold of killian highschool i become the seventeen year old the seventeen year old you body wise with the mind of a thirty four year old you precise i liked that movie out of that by the way we could billy madison is one of my favorite movies of all time it is agreement he had a good run of just classic movies history doesn't reflect kindly on billy madison as it should quality films i really you know what else is quality but ziprecruiter oh yeah yeah yeah yeah ziprecruiter hiring can be a slow process cafe alturas yo you know his name by now his name is dylan schools dylan and he needed to hire a director of coffee for his organic coffee company but he was having trouble finding qualified applicants so guess what he did antonio what do you do he switched ziprecruiter boy ziprecruiter doesn't depend on candidates finding you know what does it do that's right find them for you you you said that one out i know you don't have the copy you weren't sure if yourself better to sit it out if you're not sure you know why because it's technology identifies people with the right experience and invites them to apply where do your job how'd you know i know so you get qualified dates fast i said candidates there now often say candidates candidates candidates it now it's spelled phonetically should be candidates right but candidates is what you say it should be any all insane dylan posted his job on ziprecruiter and said he was impressed by how quickly he had great candidates apply he also use ziprecruiter's tate rating feature to filter his applicants so it could focus on the most relevant ones sorry i have coffee let's going down the wrong pipe and that's how dylan found his new director of coffee and hopefully this director can make a coffee that i don't choke guess what what it's me oh it's you it's me i was just getting you sam i know i'm gonna do remotely though yeah and he found dylan just found in just a few days yeah thanks zipper earlier with results like that it's no wonder that four out of five employers who post on ziprecruiter get a quality candidate candidate within the first day see why ziprecruiter is effective for businesses of all uses try ziprecruiter for free at our web address do you want to guess but that web address is anthony it is ziprecruiter dot com slash crate that's ziprecruiter dot com slash c. r. AT ziprecruiter dot com slash crate ziprecruiter the smartest way to hire that's why you're the director of cough that's right now this is going to be a fun segment in which we talk about food now i've asked chris cody to produce an open for this no chance masterfully by the way he created the dolphin stat of the day now has league gone bristol on us and hasn't cared about the mystery craters whatsoever there's one sound in the club for the radio show right if you like is there anybody on the planet that justice and some mystery crate and isn't aware of the radio i'd be very interested to see if that's true there's no way that can't be right but if you like the banter that you find on the mystery crepe check out the local hour as a part of the lebatardshow was stugatz feed it's the same shipping container nonsense only daily honestly it's hit agency subscribe rate review that's right it is the second installment of eating good with chris but it's not just throwing chris the whole crew today the whole crew are very special guest today is is he gutierrez as we are going to tackle italian food and now i texted izzy last night and i said what is your favorite absolute favorite kind of food and hits back with i'm actually at an italian restaurant now i gotta say it alien you that's not true okay that's not how that exchange went oh boy it was always say italian it's the most was comforting right and then in probably my role in confusing you is i took a picture of my table at dinner but we weren't at an italian restaurant in fact we the thomas keller restaurant surf club down here and i believe that's french it looked like lasagna that you see this is great so you sending me that text made me start thinking of of italian and so even though we were at a restaurant and i'm just like well he's known for this known for this i got the lasagna delicious setting up the fact that you came in today and then totally changed because rowing i x ray last night i was like all right he said italian food so let's we're going to italian food tomorrow is he comes in this morning you know what i think it's french signal italian food because you said italian we're trying to do just to set this up we got roy here we got anthony here we got billy here we got greg cody is actually in the building how a lifetime eater oh wait a minute eater did you guys do a ton of research on italian food and now you can talk about french food that's a fair point by you but i'm just more haired to talk about a time for i didn't need to do research whereas if he would've said french food i would have been looking at like french fries really do like a french restaurant online solis but you know i could have done french but i'm just not prepared so we're going to do italian next time we'll do can i say something i hear the word italian and is he mentioned the word lasagna i have to get something might chazan there's a trend i think it's a trend in italian cooking in in particular italian restaurants it used to be lasagna was ed sauce that was lasagna increasingly i don't know if anybody else has increasingly i've noticed that a lot of lasagna now is served in nice italian restaurants with beshir mel sauce the white sauce and greg i actually do know that because i went to prime fish and i had a lobster lasagna with that same delectable you you thought it was delectable i'm just i'm i'm old school old general but old school when it comes to cooking and culinary matters and to me lasagna has a red flag it's school italian is not just red sauce you have afraid of sauces whoa oh i know i love alfredo offered talking sauces in this genre food it's alka saw yeah i don't like the best of both worlds to sauce that's like what rosa is the wind is i know what it wants to be exactly the same page so there's times in the past where you know like i'm talking at home twenty two year old italian food where you mix are narrow and the alfred and you just call it a pink sauce right and that's delicious but see i've had the the aaad chaos and i don't think i've actually had like a great one ever and getting back to your special thing do you prefer like ricotta cheese and they're instead of like a cheese sauce 'cause best meals just so smooth i could had it right the lasagna had last night definitely had a big mouth so i just i like the tang of a great marinara that mary so well i think with a lasagna i love lasagna as long as it's got plenty of meat in it i'm not a vegetable as on your guy you know a great point was actually just brought up is not really called a sausage gravy it's been sumatera no the great quote unquote gravy sunday gravy they used to call it you're right technically he's right it makes a lot more sense actually now you mentioned ricotta now they're just like a proper way to say it i don't think i did actually my favorite one of my favorite things in a time food and i recently discovered this is a cheese pizza you add on top of it a little ricca and thinly sliced meal little ricotta and meatball pizza oh my god ma r- economy ball is like anthony just right they make they do like the little tiny meatballs rather than thinly sliced one amazing it doesn't really feel like i'm eating pizza it just feel was like i'm meeting sort of an open faced meatball sandwich so my only issue with the ricotta cheese is that it doesn't melt well so the trick is you go with the buffalo mozzarell- instead of the regatta yes topic anthony's been waiting for his whole life yeah we're just sits there like a lump of white mass most overrated item in the italian food genre now i'm gonna i'm gonna start off since everyone seems to be thinking spaghetti well spee spaghetti necessarily italian no you mean like the pasta yeah i i'm talking about like with red sauce like if i'm having a spaghetti and meatballs meet them all i would prefer a bow tie pasta appending a far far fillet singular pasta spaghetti type of pasta is just my least favorite the italian restaurant that fans yeah that's anytime i go to italian restaurant if i'm getting a pasta dish in it comes with spaghetti i'm changing now for i like alone pasta i prefer linguini any to your question to me what's overrated is the popper del th-the thicker pasta it can it it's too you know i i like a heavy the sauce to meat ratio in less pasta actually so if you show me a big wide popular dell it's it's like immediately think wow i'm gonna be bowl of pasta after ten bites you guys are just killing all of the name by the mona yada you need to like she's the one who says all the see the italian food products perfect yes yes did i mispronounced property was fine the four follow i wanted to sit this one out but i'm part italian guys who just blurts my grandfather my grandfather is second generation italian sicilian so i always had the the sunday pasta with a gravy the macaroni with a great face when i talked about the vodka sauce you don't like the vodkas TV kitchen said she's gonna make you feel like that one either rent macaroni i feel like that's her kitchen i don't care what you say brand new pots pans every week and this is the uh another word that she says beautifully that i love an italian food and i can't say this i'm just gonna say the way i say reseau northern elliot and i have recently fallen in love with the more northern italian type of sil- even though i'm cecelia my roots and i love a good read saws exploring other parts of italy have become i for my palate i agree with mike i think there's nothing better and i might just be a little busy here but a nice squid ink pasta tain rosado amazing you gotta get it at the right place else a sucker for really really just olive carbonara i mean just fresh hot just right out the i always want to find i wanna find the restaurant and i've seen it occasionally but when i do see them like al order something else you know when tone talion restaurant and they have the big bowl of cheese it looks like a community bowl of cheese but the pasta in there is usually carbonara and they're just mix this looks so delicious i just wanna eat the entire thing cheese someone come to my house and do this for me please there was no better comfortable italian no i i agree with that and you know what you know i i like to deconstruct a food every once in a while and what's totally underrated you take a long pause could be spaghetti you put you put on it nothing but crush black pepper parmesan cheese and olive oil in just just those three ingredients on the positive and i do agree with that spaghetti is overrated because if you have all these macaroni options why would you go with spaghetti there's a there's a part a mind is easy cannelloni totally oh how about manicotti i mean what's the difference between manicotti and cannelloni does it just the size i like self shells yeah stuff shows us to lean it's got tight little pocket right you don't know what's in there and just a little burst awesome surprise manicotti more baked the manicotti baked manicotti phrase yeah you know what i really like i'm probably going to pronounce this word to brought yoel witnessed stuffed rolled me that's really good of may that with cheese and spinach and everything in the middle it's just here's one thing that you got to and now i've just hijacked this segment here's one thing that and i think needs to be addressed when it comes to italian food that or chinese food it's the best food for leftovers it tastes better that are more more time it has time as a week later it's just the most amazing thing i've ever i'm glad you brought this back to chinese.

"Actually one trying to sell you narcotics in a sketchy area would this lawless and like but yet somehow everyone's heard these stories everyone keep doing it time there's a bachelor party i had forty for members of this bets the party try and by drugs you're not going to actually get failed they all fail not you're not going to get cocaine on bourbon street it's not going to happen these dudes make a living by selling dumb ass white people fake drugs don't do it just don't do it you don't need it first of all drink and a hand grenade is the same thing as doing a line get a five hour energy in anger nayed you'll you'll be plenty of you just fine yeah stay away from the don't come on you gotta be smarter than that but we're all not everybody knows at least one person who's tried this it's it's i don't know if it's like the general lawlessness of the city is consumed the bachelor party that goes to charlotte or nash that doesn't have some guy on the on the street offers you cocaine i just i think most guys like no i'm good compared to the people that are looking for cocaine you don't buy it from a stranger on the street like you find a way to do it yeah you find somebody the guy the hotel you do something i don't know i've never bought cocaine but this is either so reason when you're in new orleans you've just instantly like yes yes deal place i've ever been in my entire life that leads to this kind of a bad decision making lack of in addition whatever it is is sent marcus texas and that's that's because i went to college there and for some reason this is a real thing when you go into san marcos and you hit the square which is where all the bars aren't stuff it's a different type of energy it's something that overpowered you in makes you less responsible it is bizarre but it is a very real magic and that same magic exists in new orleans but to a much greater extent put that's the only other place i've ever shout out to texas state university it's the only other place of.

"He was on june eleventh of eighty eight he administered a lethal overdose of intravenous medication to a patient he admitted to killing several other patients at saint barnabas including an aids patient who died after being given an overdose of insulin so this dude got himself into a position where he was supposed to be a medical professional helping people with their sicknesses with their injuries and such instead he was using that as an opportunity to commit mass murder and it goes on and on and on online you can read about all of the different terrible should these done in he left that first hospital in january of ninety two when hospital at daugherty's began investigating who had contaminated iv bags at the hospital the investigation determined that he was most likely responsible resulting in dozens of patient deaths but i guess they didn't have enough at that point to like bring charges or whatever so he just kept going so get online read about charles coghlan if you really wanna find out about the type of sickos that can occasionally be born into this world the dude in this why don't trust doctors trust him i don't know these people you know you got to be real careful with who you let tell you what to put into your body medicine wise or whatever just and we got apparently back in you know there early eighties nineties we weren't doing too good of a job a screening who got to be in charge shall i visit hospitals hopefully there's no more this going on but that's the serial killer you haven't heard of charles coghlan truly a sick disturbed individual if you wanna go deeper down the colon rabbit hole it gets very very dark feel free to do so on your own time.

"'cause i'm going to be it's on you if you don't enjoy light you went in with the raw mindset or something this is the funniest movie and i won't give anything away that's it it's almost heroes go watch it get it on this with me next segment serial killers you haven't heard of this week's is a guy named charles cullen he's a real sicko and some of you may have heard of this guy if you're from the area if you're from new jersey i am not so i hadn't heard of him i didn't know about this dude at all but charles edmund cohen born february twenty second nineteen sixty was a former nurse who is the most prolific serial killer in new jersey history in his suspected to be the most prolific serial killer in american history he confessed to up to killing up to forty patients during a sixteen year nursing career but in subsequent interviews with police and psychiatrists in journalists it became clear that he probably killed many many more people than he even admitted to a lot of whom he couldn't even remember my name name though he could often remember the details of how he killed him or how they died experts have estimated that colin may ultimately be responsible for four hundred deaths which obviously would make him the most prolific serial killer in american history this guy was the youngest of eight children his father was a bus driver in was fifty eight when charles was born fifty eight that's an old man to be having kids and obviously didn't go well he died when colin was seven months old he has described his childhood as miserable he i tried to kill himself at the age of nine by drinking kinnock als from a chemistry set.

"That's all i'll say about the scene but it's an all time or the movie as a whole i don't think anybody saw this thing mean of handful of my buddies of watched it many many many times like some of my best friends from high school and we fucking love it we still reference it constantly there's a ton of great quotes i i don't know what else to put it i mean i'll give you a little bit of the plot so matty period plays a guy named leslie edwards who's this kind of dip shit aristocrat and chris farley plays a low brow like tracker named bartholomew bartholomew hunt in they these to team up and compete against lewis and clark defamed what do you call these people explorers famed explorer yeah to be the first to make it across the united states to the pacific ocean so that's the premise of the film chris farley and matthew perry leading an expedition to try to beat lewis and clark across the country to this to the pacific and as you can imagine hilarity ensues but i mean it is just it's one of the more ridiculous films ever made and you gotta watch if you've seen it you know exactly what i'm talking about but i'm betting there's not many of us that's this week's own appreciate underappreciated movie almost heroes from nineteen ninety eight i do not know if this is anywhere like on streaming services i don't think it's on netflix or hbo i think you're gonna probably have to pay like two bucks to rented or something off i tunes but promise you it's worth it i will not like guarantee your money back or pay you back if you don't enjoy it i'm just not going to do that.

"Rap lyrics yeah that was suggested by listening to that wasn't even straight for me that's i if i had to pick a yuji case on i don't know if that's the one i would have gone with and i'm glad it is the one we went with because it is definitely one of the more absurd once you g k cocaine in the back of the ride show to richard strong for the inevitable remix that's coming soon i cannot wait for that although i don't know if there's a music video for cocaine in the back of the right hopefully there is so that we can get this this you know edited version of it for our purposes that was mike reading rap lyrics we're onto the next segment underappreciated movies we talked about heavyweights in our bp twenty and a listener made the suggestion that we do a segment similar to that one this just called under appreciated movies oh here we are and i've got another great one it's called almost heroes it was in nineteen ninety eight comedy directed by guy named christopher guest and narrated by his friend and frequent collaborator harry shearer starring chris farley and matthew perry this was chris farley's last leading film role in was released after he frigging died in nineteen ninetyseven so it largely flew under the radar i think it flops big time in theaters it's not how do i put this it's not good but it's great like it's not a good movie but it's fucking hilarious you really just have to kind of you got to go into this one knowing what you're getting it's extremely goofy but it's peak chris farley it's i mean there are some scenes that will have you like teared up laughing but it's very very silly and juvenile there's a particular scene were chris farley is attempting to retrieve an eagles egg from the eagle's nest in order to save matthew perry's life he needs this eagles egg for some kind of native american concoction.

"Keeps us in business here so get on there and support it quick explanation we started off with a segment back in the day the first one we did was called anxiety anecdotes an anecdote is defined as short amusing or interesting story about a real incident or person in the first one that made sense that segment then that same it kind of became anxiety antidotes as we were giving out antidotes that would soothe or small solve your anxiety like the kuroshio see video or image in heaps canvas music video but i forgot to change the name of the segment or add antidote instead of anecdote and somebody pointed that out so i just wanted to clarify look it's either or just roll with it and adult anecdote they sound the same we're trying to solving zayed here not be grammatically perfect that being said thank you to whoever that was pointed out shout out to a member of the rb p fam jared c dudes on spring break right now just jamming rvp and eating edibles and wandering around in nature salute gotta respect that stick around at the show at the end of the show for more very important announcements we're gonna get into our first segment here new strategies to implement in your day to day life there are two that i want to talk about today but the kind of go together the first one is dancing in the shower in the morning.
