Episode 13: A Whole New Muniverse

"I truly believe that we are spiritual beings having a human experience here on this earth. What you learn here could change the direction of your entire life. This could be the beginning of a whole new career for you. My name is Mooney and I'm a spiritual entrepreneur. Now, more than ever, the world needs spiritual leaders, teachers and guides. Are you ready to become one of them? If you're ready. I'm ready. Hey everybody. It's Mooney and welcome to a whole new a brand new reenergized re motivated, whole brand new moon averse and I am so excited to be here with you because it has been an incredible year, I feel like it's almost been a year since I last spent time with you on this podcast in showed up in a big way online and one incredible year it's been it's had its ups and downs. It's had its first. It's headed last. It's just beginnings had it's had its endings. And it's been most I would say probably the most dynamic year of my life so far as the spiritual entrepreneur and otherwise so. You're going to find out more about all the things that have been going on in here a lot about them through this new podcast through my new blog everything that's happening in the maneuvers school, and all the stuff that we're going to be presenting, and all the opportunities were creating for spiritual entrepreneurs to take that next big step and start building that spiritual business in become those entrepreneurs, a successful spiritual entrepreneurs that. That I know that you're destined to be the timing of this couldn't be more wonderful. The timing of it feels like everything's aligning for this just beautiful recreation of everything that I've been working on in the last couple of years to help bring the best tools and resources that I've found to help you launch your spiritual business in a way that gets you there faster and easier than you ever thought possible and. I WANNA. Take a moment and talk about what's going on in the world right now in the world is changing, there's a huge dynamic energetic shift that's happening with everything that's going on in the world right now, and it does feel a little bit like there's this rebirth that's coming of systems in structures, and and how we're going to create this new world that we're all GONNA exist in. In and I think you can agree if you're listening to this podcast, you're fan of spirituality that there's an opening here. Powerful opening for light workers and healers teachers to step forward and start sharing your gift in a powerful way. Think about it. This way to people need your voice. Imagine how the world could have reacted differently. Some of the things that are going on right now if If, all been exposed to light and healing and comfort and compassion, and all of the things that we aligned with the teachings in the things, we create a spiritual entrepreneurs, just think about that for a second how the world could be literally reborn or reshaped by you showing up, and being exactly who you are as a spiritual entrepreneur, so I said before the timing of this couldn't be any. Any better because what we're doing right now what we're coming up upon here is a new moon and the summer solstice happening on the same day at the same time, so that this kind of astrological supercharged energy is floating around, and it's our opportunity to really start to get clear on. Where are we now? Where do we want to go? And how are we going to get there? And you have this momentous momentum that's coming from the moon and coming from this astrological energy and coming from you and coming from your higher self so i. just wanted to take a minute in just look at this as the opportunity that it is make this that opportunity that you're going to face some of those limiting fears, and and start to see yourself in a new light, and start to look at yourself as the expert in whatever it is that you do as a spiritual entrepreneur and your story, and your experiences that all of this is going to form together into your identity as a spiritual entrepreneur on talk a little bit more about those limiting beliefs so. If you're afraid at all to start your journey as a spiritual entrepreneur and it's totally normal. You're not alone in doing this at all there, so many of us out here who are going through even I'm going through it to I've been saying to my team and the projects that I've been working on each step forward is a little bit scary, and it's funny, because it reminds me of this book, and this came up a couple of times this week. It was called the monster at the end of this. This book, and so it was, it was a sesame street book and Grover was in it, and I used to. My Dad read this to me every night when I was growing up I feel like this was the book, and so the premise is that you know we're reading this book and grover is telling you okay. We'll don't turn the page because monster at the end of the book, and so you turn the. The page, grover freaking out and say. Why did you turn the page? I told you not to turn the page now we're one step closer to the monster at the end of the book, and so you go through this over and over he tries everything he can to stop you from turning the page, and then finally you get to the very end of the book and he says that Oh. It's me I'm the. The monster at the end of the book. And then it's huge outpouring of love and relief that really he was just moving forward to discover himself and so I want you to take that story, and if you're familiar with the book kind of think back to felt about it, and the excitement of turning those pages, and has somewhere along the line in your story, this excitement might have turned to dread or fear. And how do you tap into a new way of feeling excited about this thing that we're starting to do or turning that next page or maybe throwing out the old book in starting a new one of of how you're going to do this and rewriting the story of your journey of spiritual entrepreneurship, I? Really want you to understand that I'm going through it, too. I'm going through it and I'm a little ahead a little behind, but but what I'm doing is I'm trying to create the resources and tools, and I am creating the resources and tools to help. Get you over some of. Of, these obstacles, and over some of these challenges that stopped me from moving forward, and really what we are as divine, mirrors to each other at this point, because in this new moon I'm sharing this whole new mooney verse, so we are kicking everything off with a completely new spiritual business school experiences at twenty one day challenge, and it's going to help you step into your greatness, and it's GonNa help you tap into your hidden potential and bring forth. Your Life's true purpose is a thriving spiritual entrepreneur, so I want to invite you I wanNA. Remind you about this again at the end. You can join me. Anybody that's listening right now can join me for this very special twenty one day journey, and it's beginning in this new moon is full of sunlight and full of this wonderful astrological energy of the full moon to help us get bringing it altogether and bringing it to focus in a way that's going to be just amazing so I want you to just take a moment to just listen to these words and see how it feels in your body. The journey of launching your spiritual business starts right now. The journey of launching your spiritual business starts right now and I. Want you to examine and be curious about. Does that get you excited? Does that freak you out? Is it somewhere in the middle? Are you pausing the podcast and thrown out the window although I hope you aren't whatever it is it your feeling around this process of making the choice to step into this arena, making the choice to honor this of you making the choice to become even more of who you truly are by expressing yourself as a spiritual entrepreneur in all starts now and whatever it is, that's coming up for you is. Probably the first thing that you need to deal with or something that's going to be a theme that comes up for you all the time as we're stepping forward into I want you to know that the whole new moon averse is about bringing these tools and resources, but it's also about showing up for you in a bigger way, so that always whenever you're looking for insights are looking for tools or looking for trainings, looking for shortcuts looking for tips that all of those things are going to be constantly and. An available to you so constantly a never ending Li I should say available to you so that you can find them in the way that makes the most sense to you, and you can start to maybe dismantle some of these limiting beliefs and start getting excited again about turning that page and finding grover waiting for your, or whatever that that fear is that you realize actually. Actually, you to you! That just needs love and it's you. That needs light and it's you. That needs companionship, so you don't feel so alone, and that's what we're going to be doing here with the community we're creating the opportunities and resources were creating an everything that we can put into it so that you can have an amazing experience of starting out and doing this. I want to some exercises. A couple of things I wanted to share with you is this is in the blog, too? So you can go to the website. Check out. The blog are wanting to start thinking about your your station station, so you're manifestation or your motivation station, which is the space that you're creating around what it is? We're going to do here and that can be a physical space like your office is a little bit cluttered, and you don't really have your your favorite candles or idols or crystals, or whatever it is, that makes you feel connected to your spiritual kind of. Of Flow if you don't have those available, or there may be like just clogged up with some stuff. That's there that might be a place to look at something. You could do to start clearing out some energy in creating space for what we want to create here. The other thing you could do is totally energetically. Start clearing that out, so that might be something where you're going to be smudging, or you're gonNA say some sort of incantation, or maybe revitalize your your manifestation, practice or your meditation practice or any of the things that you do to help. Get you in touch with. That quiet space that that quiet place of contemplation or that quiet place of creation or exploration, or however it is that you consider those meditative experiences, those experiences where you're in touch with your spiritual self that begin vast an infinite part of you, the only wants the best for you, and only wants to see you succeed and discover things and learn and grow, and just become this incredible charged. Beautiful. Happy fulfilled version of you which I know. We can all do I know we all have the potential to do at the possibility is there? It's just taking those steps forward. It's just finding that path and being able to follow it with a little bit of help from a team, a little bit of help from a group of people, a community, a little bit help for maybe a guide or a coach that can help you overcome those obstacles just keep moving forward on this path step. Step, number one is definitely prepare your space, and that could be physically. You could be energetically. It could be spiritually. It could be musically. It could be anything that you do to create that that sense of comfort, and that sense of safety start exploring some of these spiritual things, and then the next thing I want you to do is to connect to this energy this rare energy that we're experiencing right now where we have the equinox, where all of light is shining down on you all of. Of these things are becoming clear, and then we have this new moon, and this new moon is just ripe with possibility. It doesn't know what it's. GonNa become yet. It's on this this discovery of like. How am I going to be? How am I going to be who I am? How am I going to fulfill myself? So how am I going to do all of these things? You're looking at this clarity. You're looking at this fulfillment, and what possibilities on what potentials are coming up for you? You start to tap into this energy while you're in your sacred space while you're in your your cleared up energy and start to think okay well, if I know now that the universe has my back in the universe aligned to give me this new moon, and this equinoxes on the same day. What could become possible even if I do the very smallest thing I could choose to start doing this? I could choose to go and sign up for this twenty one day challenge. I could choose to. Revitalize my meditation practice I could choose to share who I am. I could choose to go in comment on something somewhere online and let people know that I'm out there and I'm doing this so that it makes me fulfilled in happy so i. want you to start thinking about what that would look like I want you to think about what this tiny little thing. Maybe it's an affirmation. Maybe it's a prayer. Maybe it's just asking for guidance from your your spiritual guides or your angels, or whatever it is that you believe that can bring you. Some of this cosmic information here is this kind of. Beautiful. I'M GONNA call it. A prayer I want is trying to find the right word for it, but it's a manifestation. Remove deflation prayer, and so here it is. This is on my blog, too, so you can check it out, but it's essentially saying I am ready to have abundant work that I truly love and May that love and excitement be sent out in A. A wave to all of my clients and collaborators, thank you for all the blessings and all the gifts. Thank you for helping me to erase all fear and doubt. Thank you for helping me to share my life with all. Thank you for helping me to launch a successful business. Faster and easier than I ever thought. Possible I am supported I can do this. This I believe in myself. Peace Peace Peace. This is just a part of what I have on the blog. Go and check it out. Go to read it. Try it out a little bit. Do some work with it. Do some meditative work with it, but see how that feels. When you start to say these words what comes up in your body what comes up? Up in your mind, what comes up energetically for you? We'll comes up. Is it fear and all of these things are the things that you need to look at an address as you start out on this brand new moon investigation journey that we're doing together here and then the last part of it that I want you to think about this third party is. I want you to think about creating a full moon Efecto so moon, if Esto for your spiritual business and what that's going to do is that it gets you connected to it in I got a mission statement, or in an empowering kind of incantation, magic word, magical phrase way because it's it's getting really clear in your body, really clear energetically and really clear that the universe can hear you when you start to manifest all of these things and start to bring it together so white answer. A couple of questions in this again is on the blog and you can access these questions here and then start to write them down, but maybe after you've done a meditation after you've done that a little bit of that self work might be when you feeling. A little bit opened up that you can start to write down the answers answer some of these questions, and this is a journey. There's no right or wrong answer. It's just what comes up for you. What starts to make sense out of it? Here's a questions number one. What do the what do the businesses you most believe in have in common. What did the businesses you most believe in having common. Number two. What are your principles when it comes to Your Business? What important tenants in rules in actions must be at the core of what you do want you to think about that? One of those one of those must haves when you're creating your business that these are the things that are absolutely going to be part of it. Question number three. Which of your unique gifts are you excited to share with others? There are so many of us that have so many gifts, and there's so many people out there. That are already sharing those gifts, and so it's important for you to really zoom zoom in on, and that's the best way to put it interesting to zoom in on this portion of your gifts and the. The Way to do this is the gifts that you're already sharing the gifts that you shared and you had people get incredible results from whatever those gifts were, and the gifts that you feel the most aligned with its the gift set are GonNa Continue to guide. You kind of like your North Star to keep you moving forward, so there's no matter what you do. Do in the direction of sharing this part of you. It's going to be the right move for you. So one of those unique gifts that you're excited to share with other people and then question number four. What impact would you like your business to have on? Others will kind of changes. Do you want to create for? People were kind of changes. Do you WANNA create? Create for communities for yourself for businesses for for anything. How big do you want this to go? How small do you want this to go? What are the things that you WANNA do in terms of creating that impact upon the world upon yourself and upon everybody? That's here. I know that it's a big question, but it's good to start thinking about these big questions. Look at those four questions, start to journal. Them spent some time looking at what you've written. Spend some time thinking and expanding and expounding upon it, and all of this can happen in this period of time that is bathed in this beautiful light of the Sun and this beautiful. It has potential of the moon so I just wanted to give you again. A reminder that the the intersection of what's going on right now is. All these pathways for you and giving you that clarity and giving you that possibility, so let's ride that wave. Let's do it together and let's do it in the timeframe that that keeps that momentum flowing, too. So whenever you feel complete with these answers, start to put this in a place where you can see all the time, and maybe it's just a couple of words that are going to remind you about things that are inspiring you and it's just like a little cosmic seed that's GonNa continue to grow, and it's just like the seed that you are businesses or an idea is, or a movement is in the world that it's just all starts with a tiny little seat, and it continues to grow I want you to tap into that evolution of that process that you can feel like you've got potential. Is there for you, too? We talked a little bit about the world changing. We talked about what's going on out there in the world not in. Ways, but that the fact that everyone's looking for something and everybody's looking for something in a way that that could be answered by compassion and love and acceptance and equality and joy and happiness and fulfillment and abundance. All of these things are part of a world that we can create. There's no rules that says that we can't have a world that looks like that. There's no rule that says the that. That wouldn't work. There's no rule that says anything at this point and I want you to pay attention to that. Because there's no rule that says you can't have a beautiful fulfilled, happy, joyous, successful life as a spiritual entrepreneur, doing what you love making money doing what you love making money creating change in the world, and and having an experience of life that is just effortless and full of spirit so. So I want you to think about all of those things all the things that are possible things that are happening for you better around you right now and I. Want you to remember the words of the late Great Wayne Dyer go for it now. The future belongs to no one so if you believe in a world of light workers, sharing their gifts and shining light to everybody I want you to. The three stories from today that I wanNA capture and then anchoring and three stories do not index card. You know three stories in that I would I would I would mark the WHO was with. What was the predominant emotion? What were three four points from that story? And what is my learning and I think that that could take AAC. That could be a ten minute. would completely create a news story time framework. You're you're you're looking like you're likely maybe maybe used to craft this. I think so. Oh Yeah Right. On three stories that happened in the emotion and the anger and everything else that was really good and he said I was mind blowing. We we just get over the new thing right there. I'm so excited. Your Mind Really Matters: Why Creatives Need to Open Up about Mental Health [TGGS 42]

"I've heard that from several different people who've listened to this podcast if you don't know Allen I'm one of the CO hosts of God and Gates and we're trying out a new program that will help defined it hard to balance your everyday life with your creative life and do you have some goals that you want to achieve what you simply don't know exactly what steps to take to reach them there'd be bipolar conditions anything panic attacks anything regarding the mind. I think creatives find ourselves in a sad in weird position where we think our creativity can hide and cover up and he'll really are mental issues and that might be now get professional help immediately call suicide prevention hotline of which we will definitely put a link to as far as national resources that we can find but mental health is one of the biggest issues facing all creatives because we've heard all the stories of course of artists like Robin Williams Kurt Cobain Gig Show Visit Garden Gigs Dot Com for show notes links and more information hello and welcome to the Garden Geek Show My name is Alice Paul and I'm a musician therapeutic and of course it is by it can't be the entire answer because of it was all of us artists would be healthy we will be mostly connected we would you can reach if you just had the right process check out the show notes for the link or simply go to guidance gigs dot com slash right now and now on with the episode I'll be feeling good about ourselves but we all know that Das- not the case that artists and creatives can be just as No about the stuff we didn't see was really it made it feel like suicide was the only option and so even before I started artis musicians creatives of all kinds but looking for help bouncing your passion to create with your Gene Chester Bennington so many amazing artists who've lost their lives due to suicide who've given up who have just turned two anyone who is even having the idea the thought was suicide is becoming an issue in your life please stop listening do not hesitate turned us off now and get help but for those of us who are struggling with other aspect into helping Zygi depression with you this this is horrible decision that we never seem to understand but then when you look at what they've gone through mentally what we did and it's one that's personally important to me because I've gone through it and because I think I can share from a personal place this will be a very transparent episode daily life not sure if your faith can coexist with your profession welcome to a place where real artists discuss real-life you're listening to the God elect to apply the spiritual principles these timeless principles to our lives to help us solve temporary problems that we face as artists so thanks so much for joining in please make in an author of the book got engaged succeed musician without sacrificing your faith as well as our devotional Your Art God's Heart It twenty one day guide for creatives weird and our relationships so today's topic is one I feel is really important for all of us as musicians creatives and freelancers thanks so much for listening to this podcast if you're new to this show it's all about creative musicians and creative freelancers who want to build better lives from the inside out are you subscribe to the show and you like it makes me leave a review tell your friends about it tell them about this community of artists who want to help each other to get better in our faith can I as a creative who's dealt with these issues who've who's been diagnosed with depression has been diagnosed with anxiety how can I somehow help us suffer from mental illness I do think that it's much easier for us to hide it because we use our art as a crutch so there's the most dangerous thing about this condition is that as creators artists were used to expressing ourselves and sharing our motions and we can kind of find it very affected and probably more so affected Majlis mental health issues as anybody else so while I don't want to put a blanket statement and said that all creative an equal measure referring to what we do as creative musicians oftentimes we feed off emotion we feed off trauma and we write about it and we share it and it becomes kind of like this food and this this place where we find inspiration but it's also and fortunately sometimes celebrating the unhealthy no sense in church serving praying teaching or leading worship those things did not cover of the fact that things were not that I found online says that seventy three percent of musicians independent musicians that they saw on this study suffer from some form a mental illness his program just sign up at got engaged dot com slash right now and we'll get you in the list and start sending you information to help you to get to the next level that you know own strength there was a point where I had to say I don't have a handle on this and I need help so accepting their reality was the first step to me at least all the time or feeling pressured all the time feeling cheerful all the time was not normal and that I couldn't cover it up and yes I couldn't even cover it up in a spirit you can't simply do it yourself the second step I would advocate is to open up and that means opening up to others and this is the scary part especially outside of your profession and something to talk about where you are professional therapy and counseling is got to be one of the biggest keys musicians and creatives who do this professionally on a daily basis we share our allies and our emotions but we can do so in a way that kinda still hides behind habits and unhealthy mindsets and the mental health issues that we've actually need to avoid need to get out so how do we deal with these issues how had to accept reality that things were not okay in that I couldn't pray it away will it away read more books steady more fine more resources simply do it in okay and I know this is a sensitive topic but once again I'm simply speaking as someone who has dealt with this in my own life and how I had overcome it and what I found was or some type of symptom that they can equate as mental health issues another quote at balance said mental health issues are demonized romanticized I used in order to get on a path toward a healthier mind and deal with my emotional issues in my mental health issues so I'm going to definitely say for that with and make sure that you take that as a priority and make it a priority because just like we talk about physical health and you go at it and we're GonNa get better and everything's GonNa be okay and that's not usually the case at least in my life when it comes to mental health there is still reinstate sometimes things don't happen right away and so I'm going to ask you as you hopefully take this to into heart it's going on in my head you need to accept that that may not be the whole story you need to accept that the way of feeling might be something that requires more help in that for performing live with yours sharing your art all the time if you're feeling like well this is the way that I get this out of my system and I share with you gotta take care of yourself and your body and do exercise and Diet your mind in your mind and your emotions deserve the same amount of attention and the Mike Hides behind the instrument hides behind the camera and so what I'm saying is that you have to find someone that you get opened up to outside of your creative level times that the oldest us pop up again there's still times when I feel the same way I felt and I see those symptoms and those signs popping up again and it can be frustrating because I'm saying you to get a better understanding perspective of why this issue is so important I I'm just GonNa give you three small little points that have helped me in my life and is talk i WanNa make sure that you hear me in terms of just someone who's an advocate someone who's dealt with is not from the idea of professional I'm not trained and not licensed whether it's anxiety depression any type of thoughts of self harm do not wait open up pick up the phone get to somebody who can help you and finally the third one don't expect immediate results be patient with yourself allow for the waves and the ebbs and flows to happen but realize that you can I'm doing the work I'm working on myself I'm I'm following the directions that my therapist gave me why is it still happening and I think one of the hardest parts is for us is capacitors or somebody in your world who sees you for who you really are and gets to the heart of the matter when it comes to how you're feeling I realized that this is a lifelong issue this is not something that just goes away yes I am a believer and I believe God can heal and he can deliver us but I'm just letting you know in my experts those of you who might feel whether it'd be a faith-based counselor Christian counselor any other type of psychiatrist psychologist find someone who is trained who you can talk to who you can the hard part is once you realize there's a problem then a lot of us especially in this area we want to fix it we think that we can step through we can find out the steps and we just tell us what you thought of this show we'll be back soon in the meantime go create something amazing has I think most of us sweep this under the rug and we can't anymore so the first step to advocate is accepting reality that's what I had to do people to gain accountability and encouragement to reach the goals that they're setting for themselves and the goals that you really feel are divinely inspired within you if you want more information about I had to accept the reality that I was not okay had deceptive reality that my mind was not in the right place that feeling sad really wants to get to when it comes to our mental health and it's not something we can just keep on the outside so that little tip or help you again it's very personal in the process of getting healthier mentally and I'm going to say the same thing for you if you have been in a place where no matter where you are whether you're serving in church where the needs over the long haul and that you can't find health and happiness and wholeness you can find freedom from fear but you may not find it overnight me but I felt it was important for me to share that you need to accept reality in terms of your mental health make sure you're opening up to professionals or to counselors and getting healthier in your mind your body and your spirit thanks so much for listening to this podcast thank you for being open to me hit him part you'll make me no wisdom that's my little paraphrase but what I take from that verse is that it's the inside and the authentic part that God dan have freedom from this if you continue the steps and continue working process of sharing your story sharing her motions sharing a real feeling the third step I'm GonNa Kinda advocate to you once again something that's helped me in my life has been to not expect immediate results and to be patient that you be patient with yourself that you realize that this is a marathon not sprint and that your mental health deserves the attention it they will help you as well and once again the all the links I'm going to share with you and all the ideas are not coming from a professional please seek out professional help in this area thanks for joining us here at the garden Gig show please leave us a review on I tunes like our facebook page or visit gone and gigs dot com and in that you have to be 412: Short Term Urgency with Long-Term Goals

"Recognized customer experience expert. Genie Walters invite you to join her on her mission to create fewer ruined days for customers. Hi Everyone World Right. This is Gina Walters and I'm here with a solo episode today because I know we all need to connect right now and what I want to talk about today is. How do you make room for the short term and the urgent when you're also trying to achieve long-term goals and the reason this comes up in customer experience a lot is because when we do things like create journey maps or investigate how processes are working? Maybe were planning on service designed blueprinting and we have these long term visions for these initiatives. Because we want to improve the customer experience. We WanNa keep doing these things. And there's natural cycle that tends to happen when you have these long term initiatives and some of that feels very productive. Because while you're making improvements and being iterative and Agile You're also keeping our eyes on that long term vision of okay. We're GONNA do this because we have all these goals for our customer experience because we want to be a more customer centric culture any of the above but in today's world specifically in today's world in these last few weeks we are living more in the moment that I believe we ever have and we're being forced to make decisions and business that we could not have anticipated making. And what's the what that has created is the sense of urgency around the short term. And it feels really Almost inevitable to shove some of those long term initiatives to the side right now and so I wanted to talk about. What do we do regardless of? What's happening around us in the world? How can we address? Short term goals short term urgency and still not lose sight of these long term goals. And how can we use these short-term challenges to actually create best practices and things that will serve us long term and serve our customers long-term so I have a few ideas for you today? I hope they help. I hope you're doing okay. I can't wait to hear from you on this one. So here we go first of all if you are in the moment and you have something urgent and let's say it's a customer service issue. We see this all the time right. Something happens maybe. We haven't quite identified what's happened yet. Maybe the world has happened. Maybe there's a weather crisis or something else. Something happens. And all the sudden our customer service alarms are going off our inbound call. Volume is going off the charts. Were getting emails. Were being tagged on social media. People are reaching out to a sang help and we have not even identified the problem yet. What do you do and this sounds so simple so. Forgive me but one of the things that we have to start doing I think is I fall trusting our people a little bit more because I have witnessed where sometimes the agents for instance in your contact center or your Social Media Team are actually the ones who can provide a little bit of a sense of what's coming and I've seen leaders who actually hear from these people in a moment of crisis and don't recognize the crisis because they're discounting who's telling them so. The first thing you need to do is listen to these early warnings whether that comes in by the spike in volume whether that comes in from the contact center agents saying you know. I think there's something going on. I've had two calls in the last twenty minutes about this just because there are low numbers. Listen make sure you're paying attention. Sometimes those are those moments in time that we look back and we think oh if only I had looked at what was going on. So that's one thing the other thing I wanNA say. Is that win these things? Come up if you have a way to document for all take advantage of that. We live in a world. Now with shared files with Internet's are super robust with quickies. All of these different places that we can share information. It's really important to empower people to do that. Because the other thing that does then is a documents for your long term so after you get through short term crisis you can look back on that documentation that people were scrambling to get in there and saying this is what I said. These are what you know the reactions that are coming up. Here's how we're handling it and then you can finesse that for a long term vision. See you can say okay. This is how we handled this specific crisis which we hope will never see again. But what does this crisis share with every other short-term crisis that we've had to address what are some of the best practices that we can pull out? What are some of the ways that we can this for on boarding and training and for those moments of urgency and moments that matter so look at? How can you document for everybody not just in this moment? Sometimes I will say. Sometimes you're so in that short term urgent situation. You can't pick your head up to say okay. Well how should I affect this for short term? So try to make the effort once things. Calm down to actually go back and make those changes and say. How can we look at this for the long term? So that next time were a little more prepared. The other thing I want you to do is to celebrate. The short term wins as well when you're in a moment of crisis when you're in a moment of urgency when you've got a lot of those calls coming in or a lot of those things happening where you're trying to figure out which end is up. Frankly it's really hard to celebrate things but it's fatiguing on everybody so if you have a chance try to keep your radar up for those moments where your employees deliver so beautifully for your clients they reach out and they change a customer's life just by being there or look for those employees who are helping other employees. Look for those people who are saying. Hey I can take some of the load off and in those moments. Maybe you don't have time to celebrate right that minute. You have time for acknowledgement. You have time to say thank you and then keep a little log of those people of those moments and then celebrate right after you get through that crisis mode because sometimes we get through these crises and we look around and we say oh good things are back to normal and we can go back to our old ways but each of these things teaches us something we just have to be willing to look for it to listen and then to learn from it for real. I wish you nothing but success as you move forward and guess what your customers due to have faith in your customers. Have faith in your employees. Hang onto each other and let's be in this for the long term. Thank you so much for listening to crack the customer code crack. The customer code is a proud member of C. How to Get Grass to Germinate Well

"I do and and the main thing mark on that is to try to explain the business getting seed to Germany I mentioned you can do it on blacktop you can do it on bought her well though neither of those very practical but the whole point of getting seed to germinate and in this case grasses. Do I I'M NOT GONNA say demand but they are German nations improved by having some sunlight get down on that soil so that the soil actually helps with the germination it also, of course, speeds up the process of growth when they get going and. people tend to quit too soon especially when they use a blend now we talked about that and I considered positive three kinds of bluegrass blended, and then one fourth or so and that could be more of the turf type. Tall fescue fescue will germinate seven to ten, maybe fourteen days as long as. People will tend to quit watering. When they see I'll call it other plant seedlings coming up be it whatever you've blended with the BLUEGRASS. The bluegrass is still what I think is the dominant grass for our area historically and so on and so forth. So it and it's all about proven that it takes twenty one days for Bluegrass to germinate whether it's good seedbeds bad seed and primarily, it's sunny and so on and people tend to quit watering so to get. Bluegrass going you will improve the circumstances for all of the other grasses, but you need to keep a missed going now especially, if you're dealing with open soil, the brand new lawn or you've you've scoured it down so to speak and started practically from scratch. You have to keep the seed moist now that doesn't mean a long three, four hour watering to get an inch of water on the lawn. That's not the point at this time right now, and it's always best although darn close to impossible for most people you WanNa get some moisture on the lawn at ten in the morning two in the afternoon between the two oil the other edge of the hot spot in the day. Well, okay. You still don't WanNA use a big splash A. Rotating sprinkler like I normally use or well, whatever kind is throwing out a water droplet to get seed going it is best if you can turn that hose nozzle or sprinkler or whatever down to literally a missed, you want to keep the top aides to quarter inch of the soil moist to get germination going you will then well, I'm just going to tell you. You've gotta be doing this for up to the twenty one day period in order to get the bluegrass going others will come along. Other grasses will come along nicely because of your catering to the BLUEGRASS, but don't quit too soon especially, if you've had an annual or perennial Rye it's going to germinate in three to five days and people will tend to quit watering in all regards at the point when those less expensive dresses come up and get going that's not what you're after because they may not even be alive come Spring Ghee keep going with the missed type watering. Just. Just a minute or two or three sometimes in any given spot with a missed no big droplets you don't WanNa Splash Heiko mud or soil down onto the seed and cover it too much so that that is one of the the admonitions. To you've done everything else you you spend good money on the bluegrass seed and at Cetera and you spend good money on the fertilizer I like to put down at the same time and You can even waste the whole thing. If you don't follow through with watering of a missed type four, twenty, one day period I know it's a little grievious after the fourteenth day to have to keep going for another seven but when you win the game, so that's that's what I wanted to go back to just to to have people understand that they're dealing with different wreck well, different recommendations, different causes for germination and different kinds of grasses.

Crystal Rene will join us in future episodes. She's always around helping us out and I want to make sure were that you catch her but this is a solo show and this is one of our quick tip episodes earlier in our facebook group are mastermind group group is a private group of core creatives who are been with the show for a long time and who really helped me really they are the core of the Guidon gigs project. We were having the discussion and the discussion turned into a kind of a of a call for help for help on a particular marketing issue so on this podcasts we'd like to deal with all types of things we deal with both the spiritual and the practical so today's a practical episode about marketing specifically websites and Prescott's press kits now if you've been into entertainment business especially in the music business for any time you know that promotion is really just part of our lives is. We don't have a way around it. If we want people to hear us. We have to share our work. We have to tell people about us. We have to have websites. We ought to have promotional photos and videos videos. Basically we have to really put ourselves out there and this is one of those basic concept that I feel. There's probably a lot of information out on but it's always confusing when you try to jump in in terms of what you need in order to promote yourself. Do you need a press kit. What is a press kit. Worship your website have so I decided to just take a small snippet of this and use a quick tip episode to talk about it and specifically what I want to discuss is the difference between Wean the press kit which is labeled usually for people who want to book you who want to write about you journalists talent agent stuff like that that and your website or your digital home I should say which usually is more theme toward your fans or your audience or your the people that are following you so this is a very simple concept. Put in front of you today in its concept on borrowing from the business world in business. We talk about two different kinds of you've relationships B. TO B. and B. Two C. B. Two B. is generally called business to business so when businesses are relating with other businesses doing business and selling link to other businesses on the same platform as they are business to customer is B. Two C. and that's and of course when the businesses selling to someone who simply is a buyer so so I want to turn that around a little bit and talk about artists as the first letter so we're going to change the FBI to an A. and so a to a is going to be artist to audience. That's whenever you are referring or trying to reach the people who are listening to you who are buying your work. Your art your music. That's going to be a as opposed to the other one which will call a to be which is artists to business so this this is for the clients a talent agent's the managers to the venue promoters to those people that are not as necessarily interested in you as a fan as they are interested in you as a potential client a potential booking bands someone that they want to work with and the partnership so so the two things you need to reach out to these people with are a little bit different as you can probably tell the press kit which is generally the thing that we put on our website or it used to be called EP K. but now pretty much everybody makes it a electronic thing because it's on the Internet online that should be themed toward are getting the most information out in the least amount of time to people who need to make quick decisions so a press kit does need to have media photos but they need to have media photos that is instantly accessible that they can download quickly and he's to have a bio but it needs to have a short bio where they can take it and put it in a article and quickly with the right about you and maybe it also has a longer bio that you can kind of give a little more detail about yourself. It needs to have a quick contact. You then links need to be updated. Needs is to be kind of more professional in terms of the phone numbers or things that you may not share your fans but you don't want a booking agent type a phone number someone that they could call also your show schedule or your whatever you have if you're not a musician but you also have exhibits or you have physical things that you show up at events then you need to have that updated because someone who wants to book you or write about you need to know where they can find you. See you in person and and if you don't have your shows updated on that Prescott they're not going to know how to find you so I can see. I'm just giving a quick overview of what a press kit has but the key is it's theme toward people who need to make decisions on whether and how to book you or how to do business with you eight to a on the other hand artists audience as you can tell doesn't really need to have as much personal stuff in terms of being able to call you or book you and maybe they don't need to have the kind of detail in terms of three or four different bios they just want to reach you and to learn more about your music or your art your creative projects so that site it can by the way beyond the same site you can have a press kit on your website or press with just one simple button that they can click and get to your press kit from your website so I'm not I sang had to build two different things but whatever you make for your eight ace sites you're eighty eight of course would be social media their aid to a would be your website. Your age should be a e commerce site something where people can get to you quickly get to you in terms of what you create versus simply making a decision on whether you book whether it's a book you or whether to hire you so as you can see a two aides to be more personal in terms of your outreach and he's to have pictures of you but the pitches aren't as important as people being able to find out more about you so. I've seen a lot of websites where we put a bunch of pictures of ourselves but maybe the person that found you on spotify or youtube already knows what you look like so maybe there should be more emphasis on getting them on your email list on your way to a because that way you can reach out to them personally. We need to obviously have the same things as your press kit. You show schedule so they can find you personally. Make sure that you have something where they can buy from you right away something where if they if you you have a t shirt and they want to represent represent you or rep your stuff. This should be defined it right away so as you can see aid to a site or the eight a stuff that you put out needs to have a different connection at different purpose than you're a to be stuff so. Episode 14: Making Money Doing What You Love

"Welcome to another episode of the Spiritual Business School podcast. This is Mooney and I'm so excited about today's episode because it talks about something that we're all a little bit afraid to talk about a spiritual entrepreneurs, and that is money, so sit back. Relax enjoy this episode trying to get over some of your internal limiting beliefs around money in around deserving. Worth around value and around charging for your services and see what comes up for you. Be Curious about what comes up for you. As you listen to this episode, you hear everything that we're talking about all right so without further ado, here's the episode. Let's kick it off. I truly believe that. We are spiritual beings having a human experience here on this earth. What you learn here could change the direction of your entire life. This could be the beginning of a whole new career for you. My name is Mooney and I'm a spiritual entrepeneurship. Now more than ever. The world needs spiritual leaders teachers guides. Are you ready to become one of them? If you're ready. All Right? Welcome to a new episode of the spiritual. Business School podcast in this one is all about. Money so I want you to take a big deep breath in and exhale and get to talk about something that may be mere little uncomfortable around, or maybe you are not. Great at talking about. Are you feel like there's a disconnect between what you're worth in what you can charge for your services, or if charging for your services is something that you feel comfortable doing at all and I. Want to let you know that first and foremost. You're not alone in all this. The these are struggles at all entrepreneurs, all spiritual entrepreneurs go through of when they're trying to merge the monk in this marketer to find out what can I charge for my services that I feel good about what can I charge for my services that I know is what I'm worth. What can I charge for my services and be successful doing it so? These are all things that I've gone through. These are all things that I've struggled with in that I've tried to figure out and I'm still figuring out, but having the conversation. I think is the most important part understanding what's out in the world. WHO's charging? What what the pricing is what the structures are what the options are, so these are all things that you're going to be opening your mind. Your heart ear spirit, your higher self, all of those things so you can start exploring question about. How do you start making money doing what you love? So, I've been launching spiritual visit, I've been working in this industry now for over ten years and one of the things that comes up for me a lot you know. Is that this idea that while you're just in it for the money and I thought that I dealt with it done a lot of self work I started to balance out my giving. Giving in my getting, I'd done all sorts of things to make sure that I was not feeling that way, so then it took me by surprise completely when a really good friend of mine wanted to say something that would shake me up and she said well. You're only in it for the money and I have to say like I was shocked i. Thought that I had dealt with all of these feelings I thought that I had moved beyond them, but it took somebody who I value their opinion. I value who they are to kind of. Shake me out of that and it. I don't know if I it was something that was necessarily positive, but it certainly got my attention, so these little questions wheel of question started churning within. Within me and I I. You know that that monk part of me started to ask those questions to say you know. Have I sold my soul. Have I given up something by launching business being excited about success, excited about making money and excited about making a lot of money doing what I love, and then I thought about. How do I respond to this like? How do I? Process what this is. Part of me had to understand that this had a larger part to do with something that wasn't even didn't involve me so. One of the things I want to describe to you. Is that in these circumstances when you start stepping forward is a spiritual entrepreneur. They're are going to be a lot of people who are turned off by it. and this is something. I discover the hard way. It's better if you know this now that you're going to be surprised by a couple of people's reactions to what you're doing. There's always the people who doubted who think. Think that it's not real and I think by now. You're probably used to that, but they're gonNA be spiritual people that you work with that are gonNA. Be offended or confronted or frustrated or turned off by the fact that you're charging for your services, and not only that you're charging for your services. You're to make money doing it. You're making a lot of money doing it, and that is going to be a natural part of milestone. Milestone on your journey of becoming a spiritual entrepreneurs getting that first taste of success, and then having balanced with someone who knows you or maybe even someone. That's a total stranger. That's critical. The fact that you're charging for your services so I don't know what the total answer is, but I do know that the world is a better place with me in it and me. Sharing who I am with people who want to do this kind. Kind of work, and so if you keep coming back to that is that this is your mission. It's your mission to knock down every door. It's your mission to get this information out everywhere that you can. It's your mission to make sure that anyone who suffering from a particular set of of issues or frustrations or pain or or loss or anything that could be healed by working with. You has an opportunity to do just that. Now, YOU'RE GONNA. Hear me talk a lot about your inner monk in your inner marketer, and these are the two identities that I've defined that make up your spiritual entrepreneur mindful marketer that allows you to keep moving forward and keep exploring and keep discovering and keep earning money and making money doing what you love, so we spiritual entrepreneurs are often like two minds about sharing our gifts and I I think it's like our inner monk, inner inner marketer, or whatever words you use to describe it. It could be your inner tax advisor, and your Inner Unicorn or whatever you come up with, say like these are. Are the two things I struggle with. Should I do it should I not so the monkey, the marketer need to come together that you come into balance and be that mindful marketer so that you can thrive in your spiritual business and your life making money doing what you love. So when this person said this to me I was confronted with this, my inner monk came rushing in to counteract this accusation of all. You're just a marketer. You're just in it for the money and my inner marketer was like. Maybe she's right, and maybe that's not so bad and so there was a little bit of friction. An internal process of figuring out how do I feel about this kind of confrontation? Now I've dealt with it before I've struggled with it on my own. I've thought some of the worst feelings about myself as a result, and now all of a sudden here it is playing out in real life in front of me and it created this. This opportunity and this is something I've learned from a lot of the personal development training. Is that when you good criticism like this and you are GonNa get Krizan. There are GONNA be Internet, trolls and commenters in this and that, and that's a sign of you really making it big, but you have to also remember that first of all you're touching upon something that is, they're not ready to deal with yet. So that's like rule number one so when you get this kind of negative feedback. It's because something that you've done or something that you've said. Something in that person to to be frustrated or angry about something they haven't dealt with yet. Whether it's physically emotionally mentally spiritually or otherwise, so this accusation was coming from a deep irt around money from this other person, and so in a compassionate view, I understand it, and then in the actual telling of it. There's this little trick that I learned that whenever somebody saying something to you and it's upsetting something that's confronting you that you can also look at it as they're just in front of you, saying words that the emotions. Emotions and the meaning that you're applying to. It are from your own perspective. So all she did was say Blah Blah, blah she said in a couple of words in some sounds, and I turned that into this accusation I turned that into this reexamination of my balance between monk and marketer. It triggered something within me that I wasn't dealt ready to deal with, or I hadn't dealt with all the way, so it works both ways. It's a two way street so this this opportunity, not this challenge, but this opportunity to re address. My my beliefs around making money doing what I love couldn't have comment more of a perfect time, so things are shifting. Things are moving in a direction that I've. I'm experiencing some of the the largest successes I've ever experienced in my career and I'm super grateful, but I'm also really excited, and I'm also really proud of it, so all of these things in these feelings. He's positive feelings around. It took me a long time to get here and so I'm not quite ready to backslide into feeling disconnected for making money doing what I love I'm not ready to backslide into thinking that it's wrong that. That making money doing something that I love and that I'm really good at and so I wanNA. Talk to you about it because it's not like you just ring a bell in one day. You're over it. This is something that is a journey that continues to unfold day after day week after week month after month year after year launch after launch, so you can start to grow into this new mindset of success as you keep going. So through the opportunity that was created here through this kind of. Expression in this conversation that was having with this person who's a really good friend of mine who I respect and admire deeply. I recognize that something I was doing was triggered a response in her and something she said was now triggering a responsive me, and this is something that you should look forward to these are opportunities for so much growth, and so from that place of peace in that place of compassion, and rather than going into emotions or getting defensive. I told her that what she was trying to say to me. It just wasn't landing in the way that I think she meant for to land. And that's when this became a really juicy conversation and this connection. That was I think hewing to both. Both of us I know it was healing to me, and it helped us kind of figure out a way forward for our friendship, and for our professional working relationship, and I hope it's one that's going to continue to grow and continue to to interact and he'll, but this is what happens. This is how this unfolds. Sometimes people are going to be upset that you are charging money for doing what you love, and it's okay for them to be upset, and it's really an opportunity for you to examine and help heal something in them, and for you to reaffirm something within you. So let's talk about some of your money triggers. So yes, we know becoming a spiritual entrepreneurs probably gonNA trigger some of your money stuff and it's possibly going to. Be trigger the money stuff. Other people just like I was saying so it's it's allowing you this whole conversation. This part of it is asking you to grow in a whole new way of being and doing in relation to money and finances, and what your idea of successes and it might challenge other people's limitations when you're moving into a state. That's absolutely limitless. Get really excited about this, so hear these words when I say them to you and filter them with your experience you are. Are Not, selling out by being a spiritual printer, because being spiritual does not mean that you have to live on a mountain, spiritual growth comes from saying yes, to the challenges of this plane, saying Yes to the challenge of practicality and showing up to serve others who need you right here and right now look at the world. Look where we are. Look at what could be possible if people were coming from a place of compassion, love and spirituality, instead of fear and bigot in hate. Hate, so think about your role in all of that and how you can start to create change. Spirit is where you are so I want you to think about how you can influence a world that's in front of you and think about the fact that if a world was full of spiritual entrepreneurs, offering their gifts joyfully and from the heart. What does that world sound like what does that world? Look like to you when you think about it, and so perhaps you have some limiting. Limiting beliefs when it comes to making money doing what you love, we've all been there. We all know we have it I know I. Do I know you do? It's all out there and it's all forest to learn from. It's happening for us. It's not happening to us so number one again. You're not alone in this. This is something that all entrepreneurs and all people who struggled to kind of find their way in the world have have come up against and one of my. Most favorite mentors had suggested that I. Read this book a long time ago and I think it's called Nice girls. Don't get rich. I'm going to put this in. The show notes. Nice girls don't get rich, and it was funny because I was like. Why are you offering me this book? That's nice. Girls don't get rich, but the opportunity was removed the word girls and put anything nice people. Nice spiritual entrepreneurs Nice Gurus Nice whatever Nice shocker healers, nice meditation teachers, so it's it's an. An opportunity for you start to examine some of the lessons that you've picked up and learned about money about success about wealth about finances, and so I wanted to make sure I mentioned that that this is a book that's going to unlock a lot of that the questions that you have and maybe answer or sued some of the things that are a little bit nervous about I wanted to make sure. I mentioned that book because it had a really big impact on how I viewed. Viewed my own success and money so when you think about this larger picture of what's going on with finances and how you fit into it, I want you to start thinking about what is what is money to you? This is something what is money. If You keep answering his question if journaling questioning meditating on this question, money's GonNa. Come up to you and there's GonNa be some natural answers. It's GonNa, be all money is success. Money is freedom. Money is power. Money is options money. Money has choices, and so there's a lot of answers that are kind of cerebral conscious answers, but the more you do it in the more you answering, the more you commit to answering and coming up with a different answer every time you start to dip into the emotions, you start to dip into the subconscious, the higher self answers in those are the ones where you might get a little emotional, and that could be positive emotions that could be negative emotions. It could be all. All over the place, but what you're doing is excavating all of the the coverings in the protections and the ironclad. This is true beliefs around money and starting to create space and open up a little bit of possibility around. Could I start relating to money in a different way? Could this be different conversation? So let's think about it this way. How many times have you come up against one of these limiting beliefs and realize that it was limiting your opportunity, so maybe that means you're. You're chronically an intern, or maybe you're offering your services for free over and over and over again, and it never feels like it's going anywhere, and you don't feel empowered, or maybe you're continuing you put yourself at the bottom of the Totem Pole, the bottom of the barrel. You're in last place for time and resources and commitment, because you're just giving it all away your leaking energy everywhere, or maybe you feel bad or uncomfortable sharing your gifts in your expertise, or maybe it's hard. Hard for you to get your voice. Heard or express yourself. And maybe you've gotten stuck in this thought of like I, don't want to bother. Anybody skews me I'm sorry. Do you want to be spiritual? Pardon me, excuse me, is this something you'd be interested in learning about so if you're a sensitive and if you're an intuitive, you might limit yourself, not even see your full value or your full potential, and if you're starting to awaken to this, or maybe you've been aware of it. It for quite some time. You understand the insidiousness of it of that it only builds on itself. It's very hard to shake. Got This so if you've ever thought to yourself, my art isn't good enough for somebody to buy. Or why would somebody pay pay me for a rocky session I want to spell this out for you. And I want to be very very clear about it, and you're gonNA. Hear this over and over again for me because this is what I'm here for. Listen to these words. You have permission to make money doing what you love. You have permission to enjoy your work and your life. You have permission to be paid for your gifts. You have permission to receive. You are worthy, and as you show up and genuine service to others you will be held and supported, think about way back in ancient times when the medicine man or the healer, or the the the the spirit mother of community was upheld and lifted and supported by that community that he or she served, so if you think about how that happened, it used to be if we had a large crop or large harvest, because of the blessings that you stone upon us then we're going to give A. A little piece of that to you. Thank you, so here's a Bushel of corn. Here's some fish. Here's a goat. Here's this. Here's that and we don't really trade in those types of things anymore. We don't trade in in beads or anything like that, and so we need to make sure that we're honoring people in the currency of today, which is money, which is which is pay pal, which is all of these opportunities for you to make money so i. want you to just breathe into that and remember that you're part of a long legacy of spiritual awakened magical wonderful people. Who are honored and supported and paid for their work? This is not a new thing. This is not a new way of being. This is just a new arena new opportunity, a new platform for sharing your gifts with the world for bringing peace and healing and abundance to the world and being rewarded for it. So, now I want you to reframe making money doing what you love I. Want You to think about this magic wand for the world. So here's a question. Why do you WanNa? Have Money? Or who do you want to have the money in this world? So wouldn't it be awesome if the people with the money wanted to make the world a better place if they wanted others to have wealth, if they want to see, people, Prosper and grow, and he'll and create positive change, so you can use money as a tool and lot. Not let money us you. You I want to say that again, so you can use money as a tool and not let money you you. You can own money and not let money own you so start to think about the reforming of that think about the monk in the marketer, the two parts of you how they feel about this idea that you can use money as a tool to. To reach more people to create more change to create a larger platform for yourself to find more answers to do more research, all sorts of stuff and you can own money. You can have money it can be around. You can be in your bank accounts. It could be in your pay. Pal Accounts. You can have it in a in a box under your mattress it. It doesn't matter, but it doesn't have to own you. You can have this money, but it doesn't own who you are. So how do we do this so I want you to start trying to find some peace in the pursuit of making money doing what you love when you come to the point of becoming that mindful marketer that blending of these two identities so? You can do all the things that you need to do to get your business out there and promoted, but you're doing it from a place where it's not too forceful or doesn't feel icky or scary, or any of the things that you associate with marketing and making money that you think are bad or that you have a negative or limiting belief around, and so from this place you. You know that you're creating opportunities. You're creating possibilities and think of it this way, so if you had this magic wand, which was the solution to a particular set of problems, it would be your responsibility to knock on every door until that problem no longer existed in the world and I've said this before, and I'll say it again. This is how I say it all the time. If you look at your spiritual gift. Has that ability if it's your magic wand and you can literally transformed the experience of the world, you owe it to every single person on this planet to be doing that and sharing it with as many people, as you possibly can so take the responsibility of that on the face of your beliefs about making money doing what you love and see what starts to become true for you and what you start to see a little bit more clearly so. Take some time to chew on this. This is not a flip as a light switch and all of a sudden fixed. Like I, said because of the story and everything that's happened in the last little bit here with this friend of mine it comes up when when you least expect, and it comes up when you're most expecting, it comes up all the time, and so I want you to have all of these tools in place I want you to have all these teachings in place and the systems in place so that you know what to do with it when it happens. So. Let's look at some of these limiting beliefs right in the face and see how it feels so sometimes as I've been sharing my story sometimes on your Pat. Somebody or something is GonNa show up for you and it's going to tell you exactly the thing that you've been afraid of hearing. So maybe you've been afraid of abandoning your monk or going too far into marketing were moving too far away from the idea of giving everything away. Away for free and then someone's GonNa Walk Right up and say you know what I think. You're ending your monk I think you are. You are selling out and the beauty in this challenging and scary and frustrating moment can be this opportunity for expansion into this realization that Oh this situation, this opportunity right in front of me was designed by spirit to shed light on a little mini insecurity or limiting belief that still holding onto and. And you know what it's not true. I'm staying true to myself in this. I know exactly what I'm doing. I know exactly where I'm going. And all spirit is doing is just checking in. It's just challenging you to say hey. How's it going that last? Little Monster that's hiding under the rock that last little fuzzy, limiting belief that needs to go and find its new reality. It's just an opportunity for you to just flip that rock over. Over or your little fuzzy, limiting belief and say oh, Hey, you! Here's the line. Here's who I am. Here's the truth and funnily enough something like this might happen five times in a row until you finally can say okay. I'm going to look this in the face. Now I'm ready to finally look in the face I've been working my way up to looking this in the face and being able to just embrace it and release it. So, this nightmare situation happened for me. It confronted something that I'd been afraid about for a long time, but now let's solve it. Let's let it go. Let create this opportunity for healing and this opportunity to become a stronger spiritual entrepreneur. What this challenge by ultimately taught me is that you can be a model for others in rewriting these money values by flipping that script around and keeping light workers from being able to make money doing what we love and support our livelihoods, so we don't need to defend yourself when you choose to be yourself. You don't need to do anything other than continuously. Show up and be who you are. Now becoming spirit entrepreneurs, going to have you investigate and most likely change your relationship to money so being spiritual entrepreneurs, going to bring up these tough questions around value and worth and the meaning of money, because when you make your vocation a central part of your spiritual practice, knowstone in your in your subconscious or consciousness is going to be left unturned so rather than say that it's unspiritual to have a career or be a marketer. This whole process could be a profoundly spiritual experience in terms of inner growth, an outward impact, and we can all be in the world and not controlled by. So if this is exciting to you, if is something that you're attracted to go ahead and read the blog that I have posted the goes along with this read. The show notes explore some of the information. Go Get that book. Nice girls don't get rich and just put a little piece of tape over inputs, spiritual entrepreneurs on the top so that you can use that book as a resource for you. Here's your host, author of fighting fat with fearless faith, and founder, valiant woman Christie Taylor. Welcome to the valiant woman podcasts. Thank you so much for listening in, and this is going to be the third strategy to living evaluate life victoriously. And I'm your host Christi Taylor, author fighting fat with fareless faith, and the founder valiant woman. So the third strategy to living valiant life victoriously is to list. The strategic action steps you'll need to take to achieve your overall mission. Now that we've talked about author, mission statement next is when we get down to the tactical planning. Yeah. And in the fighting that with fearless faith. I have my clients. They create a battle plan verse we discussed the mission statement. How it defines your destination and points you in the direction, you need to take to get you where you wanna go. And then we start getting into setting attainable. Short term goals, and targets that will eventually lead to the victory. You have visualized now in the drill command in the battle plan area is where my clients literally get serious about planning out goals and action steps to achieving those goals, serious individuals who are seeking to be transformed need to define and own their goals goals provide purpose and give us something for which to strive to help us move forward, often we have goals, which we are, are never realized, and why is that it's frequently due to setting unrealistic goals are not having a planned achieve them. Now, let's, let's talk a little bit about how attainable goals that will help you achieve success. Now you're going to list your short term goals. Short term goals, and targets are smaller. Progressive steps that you'll need to -ccomplish in order to fulfill your mission statement, you will often be working towards more than. In one at any given time and once tained new short term goals, will be written. Unlike your permanent mission statement these goals often fluctuate or are deleted, or modified, according to circumstances where you are wherever you're at on your journey or having reached them already. You'll find yourself replacing attained goals with new challenges to conquer all the time. It's critical in writing your short term goals to ensure that they are smart. Have you ever heard this? It's an acronym. It stands for specific measurable, attainable realistic and time bound people. Use these words to help them right goals each goal, you right should align with these terms goal should be specific and address a precise objective. They should be something that can be measured in my case, this often involved a scale for others. It may mean a stop, watch dollar figure distance or checklist. Your goal should. Attainable. Just as we discuss when talking about writing your mission statement, it's important make your short term goals, realistic. It's better to have goals that are seemingly, too small and easy to attain that you can actually do rather than loftier goals that are too difficult, and therefore lead to failure set yourself up for success and right, realistic goals. I often think of climbing the mountain, Colorado, my daughter, and I went several years back, we decided we were going to summit, a fourteen or which is like one of the biggest mountains in Colorado. And as we were going up, it was probably about four hours into the hike. We thought we had literally gotten to the top what we were experiences are experiencing was was fall summits. And so we've got to a point where we were mentally filling exhausted. So he had to create. Short term goals, and those little goals were fifteen steps. Get to the next rock breathe. Fifteen steps get to the next rock breathes, and we did it over and over again. Because I'm telling you, if we would have just kept looking at the very top of the mountain and realizing that we were never going to get there at felt like that anyway, then we would not have experienced getting to the very top, and summoning and seeing how beautiful Colorado is. So you need to just make sure that, as you are working through that you're celebrating your small victories, also finally goal should be time bound, and that you say, specifically, what time period, you will have -ccomplish the goal, this may be daily for something such as habits you need to stab, which in order to fulfill your mission statement, they say that a, a habit actually takes sixty six days to. Actually, be formed. So, you know, a lot of times we hear twenty one day challenge. Well, Twenty-one get you in there a little ways, but you need to stick it out to sixty six days, anyway. In order to fulfill your mission statement, you, you need to stab habits, but you also need to make sure that these, these goals are bound to a deadline with a date and time attached now once you've lifted your goals. You must also list obstacles that are likely to occur or setbacks, while it isn't possible to think of everything you don't wanna be blindsided by things that could derail you so that you lose heart expect setbacks and obstacles that will hinder your progress. They are merely opportunities to learn and grow after all that which does not stop. You makes you wiser and more capable to achieve victory both with your current goals, and your future. Ones, I have had to overcome many obstacles in my life and the difference between how a handle these up sickles is the fact that I understood that God has a nose. The plans for me. Maybe the timing isn't right for certain circumstances. It's all about my attitude in realizing that setbacks are, okay. And how I choose to react to the obstacles is what really will make or break my progress. Now what I mean by this is that I've had setbacks I remember the first time that I gained seven pounds in one week after having a setback due to a stressful week at work, which led to motion eating I broke down to my parents crying, and feeling like I was going on a downward spiral, and that I was fearful that I was going to gain back on my weight. But I learned from that setback that it will have weeks where I will gain. And that it is my attitude of whether to be victim, or value. Int- or victorious in. That's what will determine my final outcome of whether I continue to maintain my health or just give up throw in the towel and gain it all back, this was a pivotal moment in my life, where I learned that I would have to be Christie the fighter and choose to 'bout bounceback and be resilient and to persevere when I have setbacks, I had to choose to have a resilient attitude. I had to choose also to be relentless this also made me realize that I needed to be better prepared for when obstacle likes obstacles like this arise. Now if I can overcome that obstacle then. So can you. This is why it is imperative that you create a strategy to address the obstacles, you believe can be prevented. So, for example, I know I get hungry bid morning. So I know my intention to eat a health. Diet can be more easily derailed at this time, therefore, I have a healthy snack plan and prepared for that time of day, and in addition to planning for those obstacles, you can prevent you should also have a plan of attack for those you cannot prevent, for example, if you're training for marathon, you might wanna have a plan for what you will do if you experience an injury, if you're trying to eat healthy. You might want to have a plan in place to deal with those holiday gifts of suites, inevitably brought by well-meaning friends. My point is that the more you can plan for in advance. The less likely you are to be deterred from your goals. If you meet with unforeseen, circumstances now I'm super excited to share with you the fourth essential strategy on how to live a valiant life victoriously, which you'll receive in your next Email. The Emotional Cycle

"Hi everyone and welcome back to the show a Balanced Life For You where you design the life of Your Dreams. I'm your host Rhonda Cimorelli. I'm an Acc redited Transformational Coach as well as an NLP practitioner. And I'm super excited that you're here with me today. The whole purpose of this show is to provide you with tools and resources that will inspire and motivate you so that you can love your life not just live your life and today I have a topic for you that could potentially change your life. I recently came across a piece of material that had helped me in my last business as I was working with the women in my team I mean I had a unit of thirty plus and quite often. I would have to evaluate (((((her or help evaluate) where she was in her business and what was causing her to either act in a certain way or react in a certain way. It comes down to something as simple as your Emotions (((((your or feelings). You may or may not be aware that thoughts or a series of thoughts will create or trigger your feelings your emotions and those emotions are what guide our actions or inactions in life. And it's those actions that we take or the lack of action that we take that ultimately lands in the place that we currently are here o you have landed you are because T his brings to the topic of the day your emotional cycle. I read As and reviewed this emotional t made me concept applies to every single area of our life ----all eight areas that I coach in which includes business, relationships, finance, health, fitness and so much more. As with anything, no matter what you are doing, when you start something new do. ((key That's that you want to do.) You're looking forward to T hat initial feeling you have is Excitement! You are so excited because of the possibilities that you have just opened up now again. I've mentioned that this is true for every area of your life. So let's think about this; if you have decided to start a new business opportunity for what purpose did you start your new business opportunity? Chances are, you want to make some money. You want to make an impact. You want to make a difference. Let's think about this. Let's say it was your idea to venture into a new relationship, whether it's a new dating relationship or marriage, you're excited about what your future could possibly hold for you. you Wa begin hen new health routine or new diet or a new exercise; (f rankly, I don't like the word diet. I don't diet because I have a healthy lifestyle.) For what purpose did you start it? Well, because of the amazing potential possibilities that lie ahead for you. You can get l ook feel the way that you did five, ten, twenty years ago. It's the ability to spend more time with your children or grandchildren. The benefits of your weight loss can include things like lowering lowering your cholesterol and blood pressure and just a general overall better physical mental and emotional wellbeing. All right, so the second phase (or the second stage) that we will all hit an any given time is something called Frustration. in your business frustration could be due to cancellations, or unforeseen obstacles. Maybe you have friends that you've been trying to get to try your product. You've wanted to have them try your products. And they're not responding maybe puts posts out on social media about. Your Business and no one is responding to you in the area of your relationships. Think about this new relationship that you've entered. It can be very frustrating if you find out that your partner snores, doesn't pick up after him self or herself or perhaps is a poor money manager. How frustrating might be thinking about your health situation so you started this diet. You're all excited about the possibilities. But now you can't get to the gym workout as you planned. It's difficult to go grocery shopping plan for these meals and even worse. It's so hard to prepare for yourself and your family or kids because your children are not necessarily eating the same thing that you are on his new diet. So where are we now on this emotional cycle? We've gone from being excited to frustrated. The next thing that comes is quickly shock and denial so. How did these emotions impact you shock is a point where you say? I can't believe it. I thought it would be so easy. This comes as a total surprise or was it actually surprise because it sounds more like a little bit of denial. Yes that is the next phase. Denial and in denial base. You can find yourself withdrawing procrastinating avoidance and. You might even decide to overcompensate with things like cooking eating sleeping and drinking these are all things if you think about it when you do them they make you feel good. I like to sleep. It makes me feel good. Why because I get to avoid what's going on. I want to eat a lot. Why because I love food food makes me feel good? Drinking makes me feel good and of course smoking makes me feel good. If and when you can move yourself from this point of Schalken deniel you'll most likely find yourself in. A state of fear. Fear is asking myself. What if what if? I can't do this. What if I fail? What if they laugh at me in my business? What if I don't make enough money? What if I lose the house? What have I lose the business? Fear in relationships. What if he or she leaves me? What will I ever do? What if I get hurt? How can I be alone and in your health if you fail? What will that look like? I will never get my health back on. Never feel like playing with my kids. What if my blood pressure and high cholesterol never go down? I could die. Are you noticing a common theme with the fear? Fear is an anticipation of pain in the future. That is all fear is an anticipation of pain in the future. I'm not going to get into that topic today because I want to. Continue on with your emotional cycle. The next phase is in two parts anger part one anger part to. What does that look like the first part of anger is you ask yourself well? Why didn't they tell me I'm so angry. And then I want to blame everyone except for me because that would come later. It's too easy to blame myself. And take responsibility in business. Why didn't they tell me it would be so hard. I had to work so many hours to get this business up and running. Why didn't they tell me I was going to be exhausted from working my regular J. O. B? While I worked my business plan to an entrepreneur. Why didn't they tell me? Relationships are really a lot of work. Why didn't anyone tell me it was going to take awhile to see the results. Now we're GONNA move into anger part to this is where you have decided. It's really not their fault and you realize I'm the one that made this decision. I'm the one that jumped in and wanted to start this business. I'm the one that jumped in and wanted to start this new diet and health routine. I'm the one who wanted to jump into this relationship. Step into this relationship for the future possibilities the wonderfulness of it all this is a very key part of your emotional cycle because you are owning your feelings in your owning and taking that responsibility of yourself and your life. But here's the good news. Once you do that. You have set yourself absolutely free free to be the victor no longer the victim you have now become more empowered. You are in control and guess what now you get to jump back in to make that commitment recommit yourself to those goals and those dreams and become excited once again. So I'm really curious at this point. Does any of those resonate with you? Do you see patterns of how does emotional cycle affects you throughout every area of Your Life Your Business Health relationships recreation play even? Where are you today? How you dealing with your current present reality. This pandemic that we're dealing with not being able to socialize. Not being able to go out and see friends. Are You finding yourself frustrated. Are you in denial of the things that you do have control over? Are you coping? How are you coping? Are you eating drinking sleeping smoking? What is it that you're doing for coping? Let's move? You passed all of this and re commit yourself to be an absolute in taking control of your own life your actions will dictate will dictate your results and remember those actions come from the emotion the emotional state that you're in at any given moment but keep in mind. These emotions are triggered by a thought or series of thoughts. So over the next twenty four hours after listening to this episode is a challenge for you do check in with yourself a couple of times during the day ask yourself how am I feeling am I in that frustration or denial or fear phase might be an angry at the world. Am I blaming the world might justify everything that's wrong in my life? Am I angry at myself for not taking responsibility? Where are you and then ask yourself what you have identified how you're feeling ask yourself? What am I thinking about? What have been listening to. And that's my challenge for you. Episode 144 :: Loch Kelly :: The Way of Effortless Mindfulness

"You are listening to episode one forty four of present moment Fullest Revolutionary Guide for living an awakened life authors about their books and interests and we also speak with everyday practitioners the websites present moment mindfulness awareness around to the sides where my sound was coming and going and it almost felt as if my wariness went behind me and then as if psychically looking behind but then I after a couple of tries I literally relaxed like I was opening my peripheral vision awfulness practice for the first time may find it difficult maybe even exhausting work soon after the reasons not to meditate show hello and to say that I kind of stumbled into this field of being in the now most teachers about their newest findings published in peer reviewed science journals teachers about their understanding and methods as they work with students of mindfulness com has show notes for each episode along with Resource Materials Large Kelly joins us to speak about the way of effortless mind you do when you're driving a car so going from one pointed nece to kind of open and then somehow I just continued to open for a time where I actually heard as a fourteen year old on TV at sports caster said he's got eyes in the back of his head Oh and being in this world of mindfulness and a probably through sports I would say is probably if I look back I can remember but what if being present wasn't effort full but effort less and didn't require carving out additional time to work on IT dropped into my body and I was like wow okay oh this is how I feel when I'm in a flow state playing sports the toot our guest today is luck Kelly walk welcome to the podcast good to see you thanks to yeah great to be here again I'm glad I'm back in Kelly this leader in field of meditation and psychotherapy his author as award-winning shift into freedom and founder of the open hearted awareness in merrily the excuse of being too busy and perhaps when it's seen as taking an hour to out of your day to formally sit that might be true and talking about some new things together so this actually this is the new audience for you this is on present moment I know you and I have spoken oh I can intentionally do this rather than wait until it happens naturally and so I started kind of playing with this and one day and I kind of said he's got eyes in the back of his head I kind of know what he means but what does he really mean literally tried to I look from podcast that I do and wondering if you might take a few minutes and just introduce yourself to this audience whatever you feel is appropriate about your background just to fail I'm joy and happiness it's like related to meditation and so it really kind of took me early on into this world and said here kid read this and it was zen in the art of archery and so I thought Oh my God this is there's a group of people that can access this this is a real thing to learn about people value this it does you know they're saying it brings that was playing ice hockey goalie and kind of applying it one of the seniors on the ice hockey team heard me talking about it and threw me a book many people come to mind so amazing literally took me out of my adolescent chattering mind and self conscious worry and fear and as I think back I I kind of remember at one point being on a bus from school and thinking Oh this is what adults must talk about this into a feeling of wellbeing an embodiment and being in the now and just kind of being relaxed I'm at sixteen and then at seventeen during when I went to college doing a zen retreat and then my father developed brain cancer at eighteen right before I went to college and I was Kinda overweight old which kind of showed up naturally and I got to say it was delighted in reading the book to see a reference to hockey which I don't get to enjoy an owner must be like the secret thing and and as we all know this is not where the ducks talks and but it because so I kept you know I must say I kept this lot I kept coming back in different ways I ended up doing T. German I just heard a voice in my mind say I don't know if I can take this anymore and the interesting thing was I kind of ceramic way manage even opened up into this kind of big sky mind feeling this kind of open aware where present how did that grow in your life what happened next I think you know it it led me to really just be more open and it was funny acted and protected and you know I started laughing and crying and just feeling like Oh my God this is like home by grief there weren't a lot of other friends of mine who had gone through this my father then passed away soon after that looked up with my awareness if it was coming from the top of my head or Bob or something but what happened was my awareness opened up in this kind of and I was coming out of the library one night on a kind of a beautiful cold clear night and I was walking back to my door greater than myself that just felt like awareness or the world or universe or something that was subtle but opened me up and goodest direct path tradition and he was all excited and I put my hand up I said wow that was amazing who should I go study with Folkston mindfulness so from this early introduction in seeing that there was a different way of encountering the world's devout Rena w-we to be and let me be at the same time here more fully so that kind of led me to both interested in medicine and then he gave a talk about half an hour and then gave this short glimpse practice and within three minutes I felt I felt so weighted down so small solar wound and now there's this feeling of freedom and joy and and connection to something this and I felt like you know connected to everything in the universe that I felt like this burden lifted and I felt kind of Aw where I did nine months doing ten day retreats and twenty one day retreats and Inva- Pasadena Insight Meditation Nation in psychology and neuroscience and led me to graduate school and those kind of areas and then I won a fellowship to go to Sri Lanka the same way I felt at the end of a long meditation retreat except my eyes were open and I was not just calm but I was joined heartless awareness we can be mindful from there rather than from a com- attentional position or even kind of who the Dalai Lama who had just come back from France where he had a given his first talk on section which is Tibetan listen here and now so I immediately was curious about what is this and and what just happened kind of hidden by this habit of orienting to fought and creating a point of view that is referencing way to let go open or discover or immediately recognize realize this awful story in for folks who are curious about the book there are some interesting background that's included in that but I'd like to to jump forward into the from what listeners may have encountered elsewhere shore so it you know effortless mindfulness is is pretty much what I just described the premise is there's another dimension of consciousness that's already effortlessly aware that that there's already a kind of effortless ease that is not just passive but actually is a awake spacious on fought going to another thought and then going to emotion and then going to body and then creating this separate sense of self and that when we find started and associated with sitting still or closing is or retreating but awakening which is what effortless have moments or afternoons or days of this so it's it's interesting often meditation is detached mindful witness so literally is like a third type of mindfulness from a different level of mine so this so the foundations are kind of the movements of awareness but certainly just a start for those who are listening with the first one is the in a wakened life has to be because you can't just well you could stay in a cave or or monastery but it's interesting that effortless mindfulness this is done by small glimpses with is open many times during your day and then going immediately back in activity so that's the first kind of movement is rather than setting yourself apart calming and quieting retreating us and that most of us do what we love to do in our free time in order to actually Terada tradition and then what I did is I went up north to India and actually bumped into to open the awareness to discover that there's already an spacious awareness that's already installed closing your eyes you literally learn to open your awareness rather than concentrated in one point services about is about a open I'd engaged direct connection with others in the world and it's eight or what athletes call being the zone so you literally are not withdrawn and passive as some people feel is kind of the caricature of people who meditate a lot it's like sitting back and saying like would you like some tea and they say all tiers it's the same anything we'll be fine those no problem with anything that serious representation I get into discussions it off I went to Nepal and walked up this mountain to this little Hut Nugget Gumbo little area he lived in in this podcast you're aware arguments sometimes with folks who characterize contemporary mindfulness teaching is being very love effortless is our let's not look at the content let's look at the content let's turn to see what's behind the camera let's look Brooke Way of effortless mindfulness and talk a little bit about what this is what do you mean by Beffa Tlass mindfulness and how that's distinct they described Further this movement of effortless mindfulness yes yes so so then after opening awareness concentration it starts with opening and it doesn't focus on the contents of consciousness which is what four foundations of mindfulness star within you that you can be aware from there and then respond and then it's almost like being in a flow state and relieve you of that I sense that you're a solid self made out of thoughts but then the really the magic move or the first movie new spacious awareness which has been kind of a identified or attached with in contents isn't attention is based on a few different foundations. I think you articulate five in the book and if he can say a little bit about those foundations spacious dimension that you could say is wider or more vast but really in some ways it's really more subtle mongering of what mindfulness is is you're describing yeah yeah so the effortless one of the unique things as it doesn't start with pleasant and unpleasant and then mind objects so you're looking from a mindful meditation at contents coming and going which pure awareness that feels like it has no bound boundary and yet it's here and now because it's within local awareness that can move itself it's an already awake dimension of who we are that returns to kind of more and he said well actually there's one person in the Pol his name is Taco Ergen remember Shea and so I changed my plans jumped on a bus and a train almost like the space within all atoms so it literally is awake you could say the metaphor would be the quantum field the medicare open up to see who's aware of what's coming and going and literally that changes the whole game so that awareness of awareness is the first of the what I call the five foundations of effortless might see a little bit more about some other as well as equally around and interconnected and then what you realize is oh I'm not aware of that immediately and it's it's a kind of learning of a feel of how to do this because what I call local awareness which returns honest somehow this awareness aware by itself as itself of itself and so that's kind of that little surrender it by focusing first on the breath as kind of one point in this concentration but then trots since ations feelings because then itself is a fundamental shift hell mindfulness is taught a little bit more about some of the other foundations how they energy thought sound is something that's moving through so you'll hear people in in meditation states then it isn't the doer doing it it isn't the ego doing it isn't the meditate or doing it literally as a kind of free old from which particles waves appear so he goes so subtle that you're before thought and concept and there's this alert earnest and then is just a moment or minutes or a little time where it's almost like a clique oh it's aware it's describe it's a moving in it's opening it's active in engaged not navel-gazing there the evidence free as the awareness you start to feel directly no directly Oh this movement of sensation is made Oh surrender what surrenders to what so what this is is this local awareness surrenders to the already awake spacious like choice less awareness or big sky mind they'll say well I'm the sky and thoughts feelings sensations are moving and going INSCI- I'm Ted Meissner present moment is podcast with interviews conversations and roundtable discussions we speak with mind and then the next movement is is kind of the non dual move from the Buddhist perspective which is kind of different than doubt or in this way of moving through these five foundations of effortless. Mindfulness you're coming back home and at that or letting go or turning over that you hear so much in advance spiritual practices what does that mean turn it over it's sometimes talked about as non to awareness as if it's pure awareness but the non dual from Buddhism is there's an ultimate reality and a relative there and then you're aware from from there it's like oh it's bigger than me Oh it's essentially who I am withdrawn and self focused in on like have you have you attended any classes from ever spoken with on these podcasts on myself because it says thing that exists apart from anything else everything's interdependent therefore interconnected therefore emptiness awareness this movement of thought is not a second thing it's a it's a particle or wave made of the awareness and so has already been aware there's a dimension that's where so there's the effortless dimension that oh I'm not doing that it doesn't need my help to be aware through like birds or clouds so that's a meditation state that's Kinda highest deliberate. Mindfulness state and this move is literally doesn't mean void it means that literally this feeling of non duality that you feel like oh everything's interconnected in some ways that's actually what emptiness means am danced in one sense means there's no separate independent and I'm aware here and everywhere and embodied but embodied means kind of connected to everybody now you're you have this other insights now you as you feel they're not separate thoughts feelings Asian now you're doing a kind of insight yeah it doesn't necessarily have to mean this fathom long body that's right exactly and yet you're not you're not space AALTO and they're not to their non dual so from the pure awareness there's a curiosity of waiting to see whether the first movement part of me they're not not me but they're not forming into a small managing south so that's the big difference realized oh coming and going meaning they're dancing and they're not only they're not me but they are part of me so all of a sudden you start to realize is by developing and creating and and building something some set of skills or knowledge interconnected alive awake being you know sense of true nature there's a natural discovery oh the there's an effortlessness that is already the foundation of where I'm aware from I don't have to constantly trade or be distracted there's something that is aware and kind of the relative distracted mind can be distracted actually pretty much yeah follows just on what you were talking about Ted is about that kind of efforting or trying to sustain a meditation state or Mary Imagine this this perspective shift from either a meditative state is something to achieve even meditation seems to be presented that way as well you do this you do that don't do this don't do that and then it leads to a letting go and the of content there was something and you've mentioned this already as we've been having a discussion glimpses yes that's a fundamental or progress to be made something that one needs to develop skill at the there's a fundamental difference with the the concept that having to effortlessly don't move or that a glimpse is a way of shifting out of the current constellation of conscience and you're not passively in a big sky mind where you're kind of watching from a no self you're literally feeling in a bad itself imagine has an influence on how your students would receive this I'm curious how does that go do you see separable from yeah beautiful yes exactly so it's often a surprise because pretty much the way we learn most things oh you're aware of it because what was the subject is now the object the that viewer that manager that thought based to it and considered part of Hawaii and wondering if we might talk a little bit more about some of the contents of the book itself business using awareness as the glimpse her or as the tuner so awareness can open out or drop within structural feature of the book I wonder if you might say a little bit about that and maybe what some examples of the glimpses our book yeah and it's best flavor of kind of like a ocean of awareness arising as you this wave that feels like yeah I'm this way what's the big deal it's kind of it's actually a shift of identity shift of mind shift of of not knowing the gap of space not conceptual and then right into the new Not knowing that knows of effortless mindfulness is you don't deconstruct slowly you literally go from separate sense of south to the again and moved from head to heart space or from a small fathom links body too leave mouths things you know in the good sense as well as you know in a kind of addictive cents on one on one level but even just like learning how to read or write or which is the awareness based clarity the just basically alert and aware without orienting to thought awareness into a kind of true nature or you know for a moment or a minute so the reason it's a glimpse is because I think therefore I am part of me is now part of a the insight from effortless mindfulness which is connected space or in the room and then be aware of this interconnected space and so a glimpse is not a meditation state has the other habit is still strong and when you shift in then the key is not to hold on or not to go back to no this is all this is always here it's got a tuning into that it's not having to create this or and then you start to realize that it's interconnected and then you can learn to move and talk and walk just like a Oh state it's actually your optimal mind it's not a it's not going back to a baby consciousness and it's not a detached the mind for a second opinion about whether you're there because soon as you do that you're back in the other what I call operating system one separated nor glimpsing method to introduce you so it is you know upgrading or letting go of the old witness where you're disembodied very connected and engaged yeah one of the interesting things sometimes in working with students often the shift from a been striving towards this end this goal is like it's not like that in fact it has always been able to tap into because it's it's like but then it's like not a lot of bells and whistles initially or fireworks it's literally literally relief of suffering and kind of an open you know a real feeling of dimensional openness like literally like well what do you notice has to start with that glimpsing you know the first challenge is that this is kind of an advanced form of mindfulness in the Tibetan tradition I just feel so open so spacious oh interconnected so something feels that there's you usually start with deliberate mindfulness and then learn effortless mindfulness either shows up by itself or there's a kind of pointing out instruction really receiving here right now not in a separate way because there's always the oh it's I have to add additional time to do daddy one you've really self recreated the lower so there's a kind of a not knowing but then the key in this kind of where you shift shift on the subways of New York City or at work just look over your computer or look out the window way of knowing into the new way which seems at first a little there's like an old orientation then there's a disorientation than go for a walk to the water cooler outside and once you learn these that feel of Mu of business in a way that it just takes minutes and then it's completely different and then learning to to then start to talk and walk Oh that's just my rest now I have to go back top rating from small ego centred itself and I'll remember this is getting passed this idea that we're trying to stop thinking that may happen but that's really not a a goal we're going for and in really tricky for folks rapper ads are on that's not typically the the way we've been trained over the course of a lifetime so I'm curious lock in working his protective parts and tries to kind of fight it off so it's a willingness to have some consistency and yet a good time and I'll do it later come back come back or if I'm doing long meditation retreat all well next year I'll make my vacations uh not a limited self trying to fix everything and so then certainly the not making that into a meditation state as if the students what do the challenges you run into what do you see a lot of and how do you meet those sure yeah yeah and so you know doing these small glimpses even with these great benefit it just still the current operating system resists change in it's really and so it's quite remarkable and and again it's not something where you need to add additional time for an hour but it doesn't take that long and it's not that hard once you learn the principles and it takes you directly into away consciousness so that one you just back in the soup again the threat and wondering like if you have any recommendations for people who might feel stuck in so I'll have people walking off the street in an hour and a half and about eight out of ten people will say Oh my God I didn't know this was possible Dell's different traditions match well with different people so you know everyone should find something that matches even if you've started a new orientation and the new orientation is sometimes like what is that should have been the very like any habit initially you know like any good habit even like eating well going to jam to experience this which I only experience when I rock climbing once a year or something like that a certain tradition of it's not your thing if it's not working you know check out some of these people of integrity who have other body and mind and then this particular method is if you feel stuck I find that it's very good for people who find a hard time concentrating because you don't have to concentrate so often people who've just are not a good match for watcher breath watch your breath something that you have some thoughts on yes I mean you know just to say that you know there's different types of people and different meditation styles you may already separating it the rest of your life this isn't a separation this is in this is moving close to and zinc for many years and then feel like well I you know I liked us I'm distressed I feel good but what's next so this is kind of traditionally not been brought out it's really only in the past twenty years from the Tibetan tradition that the texts I'm so proud of you for taking the step at putting yourself first head to Nicole. Banks DOT COM. The question today is simply. Why do you think it's hard to break free from being a people pleaser? I know it's a good one right. So many of us are people pleasers. I feel like one reason is because we were brought up that way. We were brought up to please. I mean I can remember giving complete strangers hugs and kisses when I was smaller. Because my mom told me to and then I would look at her and she is like you know got that. I'm so pleased. Look in her eyes as I hugged a complete stranger. Why do you think it is that? It's hard to break free from being a people pleaser as adults. See The difference between us when we were child is simply. We didn't know any better right. You know what I'm saying. We literally just did as we were told for the majority of us. That's what we did anyway. But what's the point? The difference is yes. We know the difference today. So why is it so hard for us to break free from being a people pleaser as an adult? Maybe one reason is because we don't want to have that confrontation. Maybe we want to avoid that. Confrontation at that person is displeased and gets upset. Oh no no we have fear of that confrontation right or that judgment That could be another one. Gosh if I don't go along with everybody else I truly could be judged. We have a huge fear of judgment. Stay tuned that's going to be up and coming episode. I promise I also to that as an adult when we think about people pleasing somehow somewhere we feel needed wanted. Some comes to us every single week and says hey can you do? This is like Oh my God I feel important. I feel needed. I feel wanted and of course we say yes because we want to feel important wanted and needed. I totally agree with you. What about that sane? Those who shall give shall receive Now there's a food for thought. Only if giving is coming from your own heart should it really be given so? I give my time each week to a local meet up group. I organized. It's because I want to. I love it I feed off of it I see the ripple effect and that really is something that's close to. My heart is seeing other women. Being able to take time to put themselves. I go out. Connect with Mother Nature find balanced. Get grounded make some amazing connections be positive. Be around positive people. You know it's because I love it. It really is coming from a passion of mine but also understand that I do know that I have over eight hundred women as members. Keep in mind when someone is sending me a dam or a message saying. Why can't we do this or why can't we do that? Then I know too that listen. I can't please everybody a hundred percent of the time and I literally literally would be a mad woman Fifty one fifty Logo a coup Wackadoo because it would drive me nuts running around trying to please everyone. Yeah so as someone saying hey. Can we do this or can we do that? I will put it back into their lap. That's a great idea. I love it and I'm sure other members would to would you mind hosting that. Give me all the details in the Information. I would love for you to host that. That's how I squash it as some of these women have some great ideas and yeah some of them. I put up because it happens to follow law with my schedule but if I can't put it in because it does belong to my schedule that I'm putting it back into their lap. Love the idea. I'm not able to other members would love to go for it. I just know that you know. We can't please a hundred percent of the time to one hundred percent of the people. We would literally go crazy. I WanNa give you some tips to practice this week and once you could end up mass terrain and it will give you some breathing room. It'll give you some freedom because reality is you've got to put yourself first and that's exactly what happens when we're people pleasers. We put everyone else. First that's right. We get lost. We lose ourselves. We actually lose ourselves. We don't recognize who we've become. And that's why I'm so excited about my upcoming twenty one day putting yourself first challenge and I hope you're just as excited as I am. Oh my gosh. It's going to be so awesome. Okay and so now for those tips number one be self aware. I know the greatest changes begin when we look at ourselves with interest and respect instead of judgment and denial. We WanNa really invite our thoughts and feelings into awareness. We have the opportunity to learn from them instead of unconsciously acting to them and we increase our own awareness of reality by being willing to encounter our personal truce. I know that was a lot right but when I did this it gave me a better handle on my impulse to please allow me to notice. When I wasn't being helpful. It gave me a choice to make different moves. Here's a really good meter of win. This people pleasing is happening. Okay safer example. You and your friend meet every Saturday afternoon for coffee and this has been going on for three months now each Saturday you say in your head man. I wish we could go elsewhere. Why don't we go elsewhere? Well it's because you say to yourself a bed. He likes it here. And it's close to where betty lives and she's a huge coffee drinker. It's that little tiny voice in your head saying Damn. I wish I wish we could. I wish I could. Yeah that's it. That's the alarm. That's the alarm bell going off saying. Come on say something. You're putting your pleasing pants on and heading off to some coffee shop. See where I'm going with that? That's the meter. You need to be aware of pay attention to it. If that alarm is going off it's time to say Hey Betty. I was thinking we could switch it up. Some how about next week we go to X Y and Z. It's closer to my side of town and see what she says. Now listen if Betty says no then you say okay well. I'm not able to come your side of town. Every week was really hoping we can meet in the middle somewhere. Shut up and wait for her response. Which leads me into tip number to realize that doing too much hurts rather than helps relationships now. I personally had to learn that. The health of my relationships depended on my willingness to take care of my share. Ed Be true to myself. I learned that when you do too much for others you over function in your relationships which leads others to the opposite under function though. Our intentions are always good right. We have such a kind heart. They ultimately hinder the overall effectiveness of our relationship. Listen I am not a relationship expert but I have subban nominal relationships. I've also had to cut ties with toxic relationships and healthy relationships once at cross my boundaries. Ones that once I set my boundaries up looked at me. And who do you think you are? Well those are the people that are no longer my life because it is not worth the exhaustion. I wore myself out. I was whipped right so understanding. GotTa recheck your relationship if you have one with a GAL named Betty. That isn't willing to compromise. No joke right. Listen she has got to be able to compromise. It's a fifty fifty. It needs to be in. If it's not your beating yourself up for absolutely no reason and I'm going to say something to you. Betty doesn't care. Betty doesn't give a shit on what you think of her. That's a hard pill to swallow. Because you think betty such a nice person but the reality is she is so self centered. She's not willing to take on opportunities of changing. Cut those ties be about it but before you do that. Have that conversation. Maybe I've missed judge Betty and she is awesome friend. But you need to be able to have the conversation to set those boundaries. Okay as we know that's an example but we can take it to the extremes because it's necessary so many people pleasing scenarios out there just using one we can all relate to okay so that brings me to number three realized that avoiding problems doesn't promote growth what problems arise in our lives. We tend to react by immediately trying to get rid of them. You know shoveled under the carpet and then the feelings they bring because no one wants to deal with emotions right but learning to let go when we discover that are true. Friends are the ones that give back in the relationship. The ones that are willing to meet or heading across town to meet up with you. Those are the relationships we are needing to be willing to let go remember what we allow is. What will continue a Oh. That's so good. I'm going to repeat it. What we allow is what will continue. Ooh That was good. Uh number four learned self acceptance self accepted is an ever evolving and it's up to each of us to get that process in motion. Once I learned and accepted my worth. I was able to start taking on the project of becoming my best. Self your challenge. This week is to really notice number one if you are a people pleaser I know some of the year like I already know I am I am I am I am but your hand down K I got you. I know that there's a lot of people. Pleasers out there shaking their heads said yes Nicole. That's me that's me. That's me so if you've identified with that recognize announce it. I am a people pleaser number. Two your this week is to really notice if your the one not giving in the relationship. Oh my gosh I know. Listen to what I'm saying. So there's a lot of people that are like well. I don't think I'm a people pleaser but I'm not willing to give the relationship either. This is a tough one for you guys. Half of my audience are people pleasers. The other half are the opposite. It's a tug of war here. We go I just want you to recognize that if you know that you're taking advantage of a friendship or relationship ask yourself. Why if you're a people pleaser? Ask yourself why I want you to speak at this week. It's about having a conversation. It's about talking about using your voice to see if that person is willing to meet you in the middle if not then it's time to reexamine the relationship tough one. This week I know I know I believe in you though letting go of a toxic relationship is guess what here we go. For Reason. It's Frene. It feels good. We all WANNA be loved. We WanNA fill important. We WanNA fill needed. Yes but when you're giving ninety percent of the relationship Time to let go my friends time to let go. Okay here we go of course would always love to hear about what your thoughts are. Today's episode we talked about people pleasing how to be able to change that. It is a change and sometimes we've beard change but you know what I'm a believer in you and I know you can do it. I'm on your side. You could do that by going to Nicole. Banks DOT COM under the PODCAST. Paid holding people. Accountable is love and when I'm holding you accountable I am saying you are capable of a bigger game. I'm your host Nicole banks until Friday. Have a great week.

48: MENTAL ASCENSION

"But he realized that all these little powers, these energies in us. Have the ability to do things that reality tells us is not possible. So funny. We have superpowers in us. Welcome to the happy abundant hippies podcast. My name is Hannah now and I'm happy rich hippy I'm a mindset and manifestation coach and mine mission is to help you use your mind to consciously a the world that you want to sleep. So glad to have you here. Is Welcome to another episode of the happy abundant hippies podcast them so that you here I'm also recording this live as well on my instagram anyway of so this episode is gone going to be all about mental detox is on how I got started with mental detox is why I'm so passionate with mindset and manifestation and our ability to be able to create our reality things. We see on a daily basis, our attitude and things like that. To help us Lakeview life in a certain perspective that aligns with the reality that we wanna see because everything is existing all the time every time and we are observers of our current reality and energy react based on the Observer. So every day energy is always around you it behaves based on how you observe this is quantum physics it's a science, it's an. It's new because honestly. The idea of vibrations and energy has been a thing least the first. Person I remember really hearing about it is Nikola, Tesla and that was a amazing information that I got but anyway I digress. So let's talk about why I'm so passionate about this why it's my mission. So as you guys may know through follow, mean through knowing all the information that I kinda present I grew in a very, very strict belief system, a religious, Muslim strict belief system and it was through fear out there must be other beliefs and other things going on around the world so. Let me study it. Let me figure out other beliefs and through trying to figure out other belief systems and other thoughts. There was a lot of resistance from my community from the people around me to that information. So felt there was some mental resist not even mental it was subconscious it was kind of in higher. It'd shared mental belief system that was consistently passed on and the fact that I was trying to look for something else a different thought really triggered other people and so I started digging into. These different beliefs in why people stick so hard to it was when I learned about the law of attraction guys alive attraction when I first started and it was through watching the movie, the secret, it gave me a surface level of what the law of attraction is the Laurie dot into because I've always a curious person I always question. So this was just like down my my alley just like going down this rabbit hole and through the law of attraction started learning about thought through thoughts are little energy through energy I was trying to figure out how do I make it more realistic how do I make so that we can physically. See. Signs behind it because a lot of people resistant to the law attraction and I'll get to the point of mental detox in just a second the people resistant to the idea of the law of attraction because there was no science backed behind. But now we're learning more that there is a science behind it. So my mission Azam until revolution to understand that everything comes full circle and we only allow ourselves to expand to new ideas new thoughts, new realities when we're removing previous thoughts, previous beliefs in previous ideas of what reality is supposed to do once able to release some of those previous thoughts, previous values, previous beliefs we have a home page to work through and to write and create. So, to kind of summarize, US roddy is flexible and it's malleable and we're just a bunch of floating vibrating energies that are moving based on our observation, and so because everything's based moving on observation and you are the Observer, your inherited deep rooted, and this is deep-rooted sub-conscious beliefs believed to have passed on in grade to you beliefs that we're related to survival. That's why sometimes it's so hard for us to change. Our beliefs because a lot of the bill beliefs that we have had come from survival and our our basic level is survival. So so that's why beliefs like thoughts are repeated over and over become beliefs and beliefs repeated over and over become troops, we determine how energy behaves. Once you have to believe in that is your truth reality has to affirm that the energies has to affirmative because are the depth of you. And how was this determined? This is determined, but all the information that we consume limited information that we take through our beliefs through our daily interactions, the daily behaviors, how we comment on the people around us, how we on things. are happening our life and it's also collective beliefs, collective thoughts, and this is really really important especially now, the idea of that collective thought collective belief in collective values turn into truth. So it's very, very important especially to be super duper sovereign and are taking as your belief Nazar Truth. And once they're able to recognize the thoughts and beliefs and values that you have. Now that we're giving to you, you're able to throw awareness through conscious awareness. Look at these beliefs detach from his beliefs and determine. Is this a belief that I want in my life? Is this a belief that I don't want in my life? Is this a belief you kind of question it and you systematically consciously both through in space on observation of your thoughts and your mental habits, and that is what a mental detox is is going through that mental process. That awareness. That recognition that's election. And that defining your reality in your tooth. That's a really beautiful process. If you go through it in a way in. Going to this a little bit, but you specify the specific specified. The truth believes in you have and you go from there. And it's really important to stay open minded during this process because dorsal beliefs or you're going to be super resistant to super resistant to you know why you Irwin triggers happen. This is when we just. Create a law. This means there is a value there is a belief there was something that was brought up to you. That needs recognition either you're not recognizing lititz there, and that's why it keeps repeating itself in your physical reality. And that's what causes trigger Chris I. Digress. You recognize those you're able to recommence the beliefs and things like that. You're able to start cleaning it, cleaning it but more like. You able to start fresh. You're able to see for example. whiteboard in all these beliefs are on this whiteboard near consciously choosing to erase this way board and start writing new mental beliefs for yourself. In. Some ways to do this is through writing them down. Putting them in your awareness and than imagined physically erasing these thoughts in these beliefs, it helps you really. Reflect on life. When you think about what beliefs who have and are high you go about on a day-to-day basis you're able recognize Oh this is why this keeps repeating. This is why something happens. I'm super aware of it because some cautiously, it's a big example for example me. Let. Me Give you a personal example, my house for me. Personally there are beliefs and values have around men and women insects, and what it means to be female to male and what that dynamic should look like and it causes a lot of. When I see things might external environment that. Are a belief that I don't. The, I'm resistant to. There is some work that needs to be in at least to a lot of triggers a lot of reactions and mental defensiveness. I don't know why. So I been I in the past few years I've been looking at some of those beliefs and really fascinating how looking at these beliefs assessing this leafs recreating commuting the energy has really changed my relationship not only with myself because I have a lot of masculine meals well, but mariah my relationship with my Father Emeril relationship with other gentlemen in my life and my relationship with other females who have high masculine energy. Really, fascinating stuff nearly start looking at it. But Anyway, so it helps you reflect on life and compared the different beliefs you have in your life and. It helps you really choose what exists in reality you are in essence the reality I highly recommend if this if you're into this right now and you're listening to this or we watching this really flowing into this. These thought processes, these beliefs, these values that we have are consistently in our day to day basis. From the first point you wake up to the time you go to sleep and not only is it through our thoughts, but it's also through our feelings our intuition. And sometimes, it's through subtle ways and so when you're able to pay attention to your thoughts and see your thoughts and energy see everything and Aranjuez energy as through feeling able to feel it it's not so much even a mental mind thing. Because our mind is a central processor all information that we go through including how we feel. There's a physical body reaction when we feel something in an order for us to be able to register that feeling it has to go through our mental processing. So recognizing the power of the mind recognizes of the beliefs that information what you watch, what listen to who you're around what you're think when you wake up when you look at someone. These, little small nuances, create your reality and your attitude. And something magical happens when you recognize that and you're able to be like oh I see this. I know how it makes me feel negative and now I want to come love. And he star build these new beliefs, new thought patterns that are related to law related to acceptance related to awareness re related to a more beautiful reality used to receiving all around you guys, and sometimes it's so magical. Because For for me, I'm experiencing completely different reality. Then author people. I almost live in no fear. And because I've built this awareness, this thought process, this belief system that love and acceptance in health and vitality of all around me. That's all I've pretty much experienced. In. So many areas of my life and it's magical. You take power of your mental thought you meant to energy or physical energy, and you intentionally directed a certain way your whole life changes. And the only person that experiences it is you. And this because you're processing it through your own mind in your mind is the central processor of everything the experience and your reality don't let anyone tell you what your reality should should be. Because mental detox, this mental ascension is you choosing and deciding. What area in your life you WanNa, focus on and what you want to continue building of the more you continue building on that new thought process the new feeling of love and awareness and health and vitality. The more that you become it and energy attracts like energy. When you become it, it becomes you and you see around you everywhere. It's it's magic and it's only magic when you're able to see it and you're only able to through your own mental revolution, your own unsold mental awareness. So through a mental detox months awareness, you recognize your thoughts, you're able to erase the old beliefs that you'd want create new beliefs, and from that you create your reality. And that is a mental a detox and that's why it's important. And if you're listening so far the sound this sounds like something that you really WanNa do. I created a seven day, a free seven-day mindset challenge, not even mindset challenge, a mental and Sunshine Challenge. And this seventy mental. An ascension challenge came from a twenty one day mindset challenge that I did in two, thousand and eighteen. Yeah, a twenty one day mindset challenge between days was just so much so I decided to condense it. Potential Medicare bad debt changes [PODCAST]

"Welcome to the hospital finance podcast, you're go to source for information and insights that can help you stay ahead of the challenges impacting healthcare finance, and now the host of the hospital finance podcast Michael Pass Naughty. Is, Mike, Pasadena Welcome back to the award winning hospital finance podcast. And the twenty twenty one I. Proposed rule, CMS is proposing to amend its existing bad debt regulations for the upcoming fiscal year to tell us about those proposed changes and their implications I'm joined by Jay Lin senior consultant on the reimbursement services team at bessler JC welcome to the podcast. Thank you Mike always great to be on the podcasts always great to have you, so let's start out as I mentioned in the opening. CMS is proposing some changes to its bad policies. What are they proposing and why? Is always been the age old question as to how cms. Is always updating their quote. Unquote reimbursement requirements, and it's always been a mystery for the hospital twenty. Keep up with all the requirements, and basically CMS propose to cofidis requirements of additional requirements. The hospital must satisfy. Debts from Medicare through this particular published notices and comments rulemaking. And if CMS doesn't do it then. They won't be able to enforce these particular. Updated requirement, and so the fact that cms proposed adapt some of the. Requirement actual actively. Santa find that CMS. Intense to apply these rules to open war, we open a bowl. Pass Haas reports. Think retroactive is the key there, isn't it? Yes it is, and so at this point in all the hospitals are on the hook to be able to get the reports. We open without their proper management. JC water the new proposed minimum requirements for bad. Debts It's not really the oppose the new requirements just to up there and reinforce their requirement that hospitals must be all manicure beneficiary no later than hundred and twenty days after the day of the Medicare, we missed vice and the new of quote. Unquote updated regulation would also bar hospitals from running off about that sooner than hundred twenty one days after issuing the bill. Now with keeping I one hundred and twenty one day period would reset each time. The patient makes a partial payment. CMS well prohibited hostile to claim that that that is written off to a contractual account as hostile must claim that that's. is written off to a bad debt expense account. In the providers, financial rutgers, and that is the key. Is Typically a hospital would write it off to their contractual allowance as soon as they get a type of transaction on the hospital from the excuse me from the patient or from their insurance policy. Let's say for Medicare Medicaid accounts and there was just simply ran off on their own. But now, the Medicare would like to see that it's written off to the actual bad debt expense. So that is the big. That is to be updated change at this point. Got, it an individual claims should be filed with the cost report filing. What are the minimum fields required to do this correctly? Yeah. That's that's always been the same format. That cms has reinforced the year. They're. Medicare even meteors in the past, so that there's no change, but again all hostile should keep in mind that they are the ten minimum. We choir feels in order to for them to reimburse for about that account. and. The accounts on the field. In the data should be have minimum to have at least ten field, and they would include the patient name. The social security number in the data service along. Whether a patient. Qualify for the indigent right off whether that with through their mean of tasks of income or a simply have both Medicare and Medicaid coverages at any given point edge. And then lastly they would show the day of the service that the beneficiary was. Sent a quote Unquote Bill in order to show that they're fair share of air, deductible and co-insurance along with the. So those are. The very minimum required for me and each hospital can definitely go through what their standard format that they have in their system, and they should be able to extract those important feel in order to qualify for a manicure that that reversing. God and JC, what do you think these changes are going to mean for hospitals going forward? Well am I just simply makes it harder and harder for hospitals to receive that reimbursement. It appears that CMS is making changes to flood longstanding policies that have existed for decades. If not since the time. The miniature deduct the foreign co-insurance have existed. But at least we carbon, the hospital must factor patient. We sources and acids in making the charity care decision is a significant and substantial change on the past policy. And Medicare? How to Think As an Online Business Owner to Get Results During Coronavirus Crisis

"Hey Gary and this is a data insider podcast and in today's episode. I WanNa talk to you about the Koran wires and how. It's impacting drop shippers. Right now is going to impact over and businesses over the long run and really how you should approach From the business standpoint situation right now and what you really need to prepare for so as of today billions of people are now for sit home due to this pandemic and I think that this kind of turn was not planned or expected while literally anyone in the world. I mean you know there. Were you know things happening in China in one place? China and people talked about that for a month or so but nobody expected that it's going to take the magnitude that has now taken where literally the entire Europe is lockdown You know United States is long down. India as of today is in twenty one day aloke down so there are a lot of things happening Right now that really will impact pretty much anyone regardless of who you are and what you do now if you are an established. Oland business than obviously you are in a little bit of privilege sedation. Just like here in. We are because we don't need to reprogram our mind thinking when it comes to remote work. This is what we have doing for a while now so literally. We are prepared for that. We have the skill set for that and we can really adapt and sees that biggest manufacturing into world is pretty much resuming the work as of today. There are news that you know China is pretty much starting a you know. manufacturing again and people are going to work there so that means that supply chains will be running and that eventually means that as an online business owner you have an enormous opportunity right now to really establish You Know Your Business and this goes back to the three core principles that we have here. Ah Dash Nixon does our simplicity speed and results and today more than ever these principles are vital or an online business to adopt and really You know get the results from this opportunity and you really have to do it. Because here's what's going to happen. Since billions of people today are forced to sit at home. You know there will never be the same as before. There's this kind of in the news cycle. People are talking about. You know all this is going to pass and we are going to resume and go back to work just like we did that this before but the reality is that it's not going to be the same because a lot of Businesses all fine businesses and also individual people. Now learn how wallner bowl they can be if they don't start to work from home if they don't start to work remotely right and so they are going to be searching for opportunities how to make that happen and so there will be more competition online than ever before. You don't feel it right now. You might not feel it right now but it's going to happen within the next six. To nine months there will be more people building all my businesses than ever before there will be more people looking for opportunities to work remotely than ever before which is why if you are already in business you really have to think about long term and how you can establish your brand how you can establish the position in the marketplace. So it's not longer just about you know. Here's one product that I'm selling and that's about it. It's more about how you can really position yourself in the marketplace with that product so that you can continue to sell that product or months and years a hat so my message to you with today's podcast is really bad. You know you have to think about your position in the marketplace. You have to think about how you can streamline everything in your business to make simple make it fast and make results driven. You'll have to eliminate all unnecessary clutter in unnecessary staffs in order to move monster and if you are someone who is just starting a drop. Shipper drop shipping business. Then you're essentially what wanted what do you want to do? Is You want to Really tax as many products as you possibly can in order you can fine a few winning products and start to build business around those products or around those product categories right and here a Dash Knicks fake. Willie with you know dashing expound technology that you can get you obviously have an opportunity to not only tap into literally any channel. There is any sales channel there is alive but also you have an opportunity to speed up the whole thing and simplify everything so that you can cost as many products as you possibly can and find your place in this giant giant marketplace. That's going to be You know or exposed for everyone. On why so will become more civilized online? There will be more people trying to build the business salon. So competition will be really crazy. The cost for traffic is going to go up significantly. And that's why this is the time for you to really kind of maximize everything you have. you know if you are starting out. That's fine you are already. You already know what wasn't only businesses so you have an advantage overdose. Who are just trying to figure this out and please know that I talk from experience here because when in two thousand eight. The financial cries crisis was happening. I had no skills and nothing and they started from scratch. I was just going online at starting completely from scratch searching for ways to make money and build business so I know how hard that process is. But you have to start. You have to start now. This is the best moment in time to make it happen so stock to do this from today. Don't focus on negative liberty. Don't focus on us. The BIG marketing mistake you might be making as a creative [TGGS Ep. 36]

"What if I invited you to my house and my door was locked and I not are you knocked? I should say and I never answered well. You would probably leave right away number one. You would think I was really rude host and you'd probably never show up again because I wasn't home when you came to my house. This is what happens when you have a private I count but you have a public brand artists musicians and creatives of all all kinds looking for help balancing your passion to create with your everyday life not sure if your faith can coexist with your profession welcome to a place where real artists discuss real life. You're listening to the garden GIG show visit has it gotten gigs dot com for show notes links and more information hello and welcome to the garden Gig show. I'm Alan. I'm a musician and author of the book got an gigs succeed as a musician without sacrificing your faith as well as our devotional. Your Art God's heart a twenty one day guide for creatives and I'm so glad that you've checked us out. If you've been listening that you decided to come back and if you knew thanks for checking out this show which is all about helping you to build a better etter creative live from the inside out but we try to do is we try to connect timeless spiritual principles with the temporary creative problems of this lifestyle which we like to call the GIG lifer lifestyle and try to help you to get better results and really achieved fulfilling kind of career that you were created to have and so we take a solo show every once in a while so I'm hosting by myself. Crystal Rene is our co host and she'll be back with us in a future episode but on these quick tip kind of episodes I just WanNa share something inspirational or something that will help you Kinda get a clear a clearer concept of something that we've been discussing in our community and today I kinda wanted to go into a space about marketing and marketing course is what all of us artists have to do. Probably most of US hate to do but it's something that is necessary to get your art out there to get your creative project out there and to let the world know what you're all. About now I'm by no means a marketing expert. I'm going to actually put Lincoln show notes to some other guest posts that we've had in the blog at got engaged dot com where we've had some social media experts talk about it. One of those people is Stephanie Natiq of bowed red creative. She's posted some great social media tips and I'll make sure to put a link in the show notes on about how to content curate and use your social media as a place where you can get more access or give access better say give access to other people's stuff and you'll find that you don't have to come up with something every single day to post on your own if you're helping to curate a library of stuff that you're interested in and and I've seen several creatives around my circle do this and it's very effective as a matter of fact I've noticed if you look at our instagram page at got engaged on Instagram that I've re posted a bunch of stuff and that doesn't mean I'm stealing it means. I'm sharing doing what we're trying to do is create a space where people feel like they can find something that they need and if I don't have the answer I'll look for someone who has an answer and something has an encouraging and I'll share it and if you check out those post you'll notice that most of the time the creatives who have shared things are very appreciative that they're being reassured and reposted so it's actually a way to make a win win because you get content and other people get content and get shares but that's another point that loved to share later on but I'll put a link to that block goes because that's a very direct tip then. I'm just throwing in there for those of you who want more help with your social media posting but what I wanted to talk about is the idea era of how you get people to come to your platform to your page to whatever you're doing in the first place and why they should even want to come so many times we see so many post on social media media and on other platforms were simply. You see a message. Come view this listen to my video download my music watch this. Please follow me and it's almost like a kind of insistent blaring. Yelling kind of voice which says pay attention to me. I need you to pay attention to me. The problem is is that when everybody's doing that of course nobody feels like they're being invited into your space ace. They feel that they're being commanded or demanded to come so what I like to use an analogy today the Kinda give you a better sense of what will help you be more inviting creative. The concept I'm going to use is the concept of a house your digital. You're creative your marketing house so follow me for a moment. If you're inviting someone to your house right now. How would you invite them? What would be the words you would use? How would you tell them hey? I'd like you to visit me. Would you say come to my house right now. I've got amazing stuff. Come right now. You wouldn't use that tone of you're inviting guest especially someone who didn't know you to your home for the first time instead you use language that would give them the sense that you are interested in them and what they think and you would give them a sense of welcoming versus a sense of more of a pushy kind of language or pushy kind of approach and so it's the same thing with marketing when we're talking to creators and other audience members and especially to people who are simply listeners we have to be careful not to use language that insists that someone pay attention to us and insist that they come to our house but rather we invite people to come to our marketing house to our digital house to our artistic house so I'm going to give you a couple more positions that were kind of relate to this idea being being invited to a house so let's say I invite you to my house and I want you to come in and the first thing you're going to do of course you're going to see the driveway. Now your driveway might be you know a big driveway or small driveway but I'm going to try to make sure that has claimed that it's no step in the way that is easy to come in and then of course you're gonNA come to the front door and here's the thing that might happen to some of us. If we act the way that we act on social media. What if I invited you to my house and my door was locked talked and I not are you knocked? I should say and I never answered boy. You'd probably leave right away number one. You would think I was a really rude host and you'd probably never show up again because I wasn't home when you came to my house. This is what happens. Happens when you have a private account but you have a public brand. Now I know stepping on toes here in terms of social media etiquette and I know some of you want to protect your privacy and you don't like the idea of just anybody being able to follow your or get into your page and you want to keep an air of that you want to protect and control what happens in your space. However it impossible for you to want people to come to your home but then keep the door locked and require a password password or some type of special thing for them to come? If you're truly welcoming people into your digital home your creative home you have to keep the door open and be there when they show up so when they come into your door. What do they find? Are they going to find find a bunch of old post from nineteen ninety five or are they going to see the same six or seven things re tweeted over and over again. Are they going to see old songs. Are they going to see a fresh home. That's been prepared for them. Are they going to see T._A.. Lobby does prepare for them to come in and enjoy what you've prepared beforehand for them so just continue this analogy and I'm not giving specifics. 'CAUSE I want you to get more of the overall picture that when people we'll come to your digital house or your marketing to them. You're not yelling at them. You're not insisting that they show up. You're not demanding that they show up. You're inviting them and win. They show up. You're showing them what you would like them to see just like you you want to be invited into their house and what you would like to see. He'd want to see something. Fresh something clean something inviting something warm something friendly and so whenever they come to your website or to your twitter page or to your facebook page or to your youtube she page or spotify page wherever it is it's not really about you as about welcoming your guests and so if you really think about that and it really comes back down to the golden rule to treating others as you'd like to be treated needed if you treat other people when they come to your house the way that you would like them to treat you when you go to their digital house while you're GonNa find that Europe on your marketing efforts will be much more successful because now people are not feeling. You're just in it for you and you're just trying to sell something and make them come and make them by and make them download now. They feel like you want to offer them a place to feel at home so if you enjoy that idea or think that could help you as a marketing creative as a someone who's trying to promote the best of your art and share it with the world then I would like to continue this conversation with you. One of the ways you can continue that conversation is by by jumping into our Beta coaching program. Now I've been talking about this kind of almost in a secretive way which kinda defeats the purpose of what I just said I've kind of hiding and locking the door a little bit on you guys but I am being very careful about about rolling this out because I wanna make sure that it's ready for all the people who are going to jump in and so basically what this program is is a Beta coaching program which we will be using to help you to build positive income growth but more importantly to to build the mindset of becoming the person you need to be to do two things you want to do creatively so in other words we're going to really dig deep into values. We're GONNA dig deep into the mindset that ah dig deep and to what God really wants out of you and what he's putting into you before you can become the created that he created you to be so of that interest you. I would invite you and again. We're only going to be taking a few more people and if you're listening to this as being recorded in July hi it's probably closing up in the end of July said mid-july number according in mid July so we may extended another week since I'm just now releasing this but definitely by August we will have our first class of Beta members of this new coaching coaching program. It's so new it doesn't really have a name yet. I'm bouncing around some names. Maybe you guys has my ideas for names. You can throw them at me but the most important thing is. I want you to have a chance to help me form this program and do it the way that will help you the most so go to God and gigs dot com slash right now. That's gotten gigs dot com slash right now. You'll find the link in the show notes and simply joined the waiting list. It doesn't mean that you're committing to the program at all as a matter of fact. I think that we might have less. S. people than we are going to start with even that are on the wait list because we have some people that it might not be a good fit for and that's fine. I WanNa make sure that this first Beta program is only those who want to try it out and of course we'll make sure that we give more value than you would ever are put back in or invest because this is something that means a lot to me to make sure that I'm giving back to creatives who are supporting this garden gigs platform so once again got engaged dot com slash right now. Ep 12: Is money making you unhappy?

"Hi and welcome to episode twelve of the become your own best friend podcast my name is Kiara Johnson and I'm here to help you understand your thoughts and feelings and how to turn these into empowering beliefs this would put you on a path of living life on your terms it and I hope you have a beautiful day and let me know how you go on your money months at Janney by take inspired action so these disempowering beliefs actually created a negative money mindset without me even realize Salihi let's start at the beginning where do your ideas about money come from what did you grow up believing about housing have a think about what your parents told you about money what did you witness that formed Joe Beliefs I know for me my parents disempowering beliefs now I say disempowering beliefs because I didn't feel good thinking these thoughts and they certainly didn't therefore I grew up linking money a coup stress and money it grows unhappy relationships and of course what the main reason behind divorce you guessed it money problems everything from spending habits and financial goals to one spouse I mean I grew up believing that money doesn't grow on trees and making money is hard to any of these sound familiar these force you'll never have enough if you mindset is coming from a lack of so have you ever heard yourself say I don't have on improving your health relationships Korea business and of course your own happiness so now let's begin waist to to spend it so what I really WanNa help you become aware of today is just how that's affecting your life and you'll be surprised with the things that you say on a daily basis potentially how much that affects and reinforces that native belief who have money a bad people have selfish or they don't understand what it's like then you have some money months at work to do enough money I don't have enough to afford that I can promise see something if you've got that mindset you're never going to have enough money and hopefully this can help you out I've always been interested in money more importantly why does it make outhouse and we had to move into really tiny apartment that was five boss and basically stop from scratch for me and I'm actually doing twenty one day challenge and money mindset challenge and I just wanted to show sorry Shammai learnings so far so many people unhappy while for others it creates so much joy it's just a bit of payback how can create such a divide amongst people no matter whether it's one hundred dollars thousand dollars a million dollars whatever it might be if the mindset is not dead although I do help a lot of clients in their relationship we are talking about your own beliefs and how we sometimes without even realizing per today i WanNa talk about money mindset and what that actually means now why am I talking about money on this podcast I'm not making more money than the other causing power struggle all constrain marriage breaking point now we're not talking about marriage problems in this podcast I I heard of this concept a few years back from Catherine Dan king who has a podcast called manifestation sorry manifestation faith initial Gerber what I do know is that money will certainly have an impact on all the other aspects of your life and they've beliefs onto others now as I said it all comes down to if you're having a look in your life and your constantly stressed it's about money how is that actually affecting the rest of your life is it affecting your relationships is it affecting your ability to meet someone potentially so if I with the loss pot when I said for others it creates so much joy if it's the popped into your head about people names that were in business together in the building industry so of course there were ups and downs as we were growing up I remember actually when I was about ten years old we lost it is it affecting friendships what isn't actually affecting in your life and again these might not be you might not be consciously aware of these things as I said for me that were very subtle and I didn't realize actually how much they were impacting my life until of course it then and you coming from as a lack hold and you always because your expenses will just go up so the more money you have you just find different wouldn't be unhappy I've also projected these fears onto previous partnerships which of course resulted in many arguments and more self aware and realize what I actually needed to change I know for me personally all throughout my unique days I was not happy it also caused me to hold onto money and only be scared to spend it again that Ford of money is really hard instantly working I think I had at least five jobs and I remember having a bag in my car like sometimes three different uniforms in yeah I remember I always wear a single Topaz may so I could easily change two different uniforms within the call so of course I wasn't consciously aware of this time but it's now painfully obvious because I'm very very different now with what I was so now for me I felt like I had to work five jobs I felt like a constantly had to have money 'cause I figured if I had savings it wasn't until I came across this concept of money one set that I became self aware of what was going on and how it was actually affecting my life had had money while I went to uni because I worked so hard and I was very very fortunate enough to still be living at home whilst many my other unique friends were out all the time spending all of them money so whatever money they made they spent so close they were constantly broke breath and my relationships I thought the hotter I've worked the better I would be that I needed to make money in ah empowering would disempowering what are some of the limiting phrases you've been saying lately that are related to money we're talking over ten years ago and also painfully aware about how it affected friendships analyzer relationships money that's too expensive can you see how they actually manifesting interior -ality because remember what we would spend it really quickly will be holding onto it particularly like I was the second question I want to ask yourself is you know you would say if I was to give you a couple of thousand dollars and you had that belief around money than that wouldn't be enough because enough money I have enough money and again it just really subtle language differences but hopefully never have enough money because it's jujio beliefs about what enough is like I said at the start of the port costs if blaming people with certainly not into that at all it's just simply understanding how you developed these beliefs because somewhere along the line it as I said create those empowering beliefs the third question I want you to ask yourself is can you see how the been manifesting if you've been listening to this podcast for a while now you understand how much language actually determines out reality so what we say we for example at handful that it's too expensive over by that when a have more money one day hit make its way have to hold onto it also if I get lower money it will cause stress and arguments of course Tallin sin questions I want you to think about and just to help you become more aware of whether you money mind expensive and that's why I want you to be aware of these remember saying icon have something is extremely disempowering unconfirmed that evidence for us so I'm just asking me to take the time to be more self aware of what you're actually saying aw that's so expensive wow that's so affordable or I can afford such and such whatever it might be or instead of I don't have what I found really helpful is instead of saying something sandwich shops and looking at let's say a jacket might be thank becomes a reality at forts create out actions have think about that for a moment whatever whiff thinking and the last question I want to ask yourself is can you replace days limiting phrases with their opposite counterpart so instead of of the money mindset is writing down some affirmations to assist in developing new beliefs. I'm actually GONNA do another podcast eight hundred dollars for example instead of getting upset or frustrated in going off Jeez I wish could afford that are icon afford that will whenever we say we can't afford something dirt lie to yourself you could afford it you just don't want to just be more honest with yourself but I'm simply choosing not to and remember with money we can always afford what we wanted to do will always always find a way constantly reinforce into planned and then at brain is it basically picks up on everything that we're saying it will far eh again with something like money it's just pay pot it's just energy so I could we could we could sit you were where did those limiting beliefs come from who did you won them from again we we have to get these beliefs from somewhere and with an empty room with nothing around and you would barrique and then all of a sudden if I feel that with money that would create some sort of energy and experienced things and that's what life's all about ultimately the second positive money mindset affirmation facing is I'm choosing to believe money is all around me I find money every way if flows effortlessly into my life on in the next couple of weeks just about affirmations and reinforcing positive beliefs because there's certainly a way to do them properly so that your mind daily basis now again if I'm reinforcing that mindset my brain is GonNa pick that up and stopped to confirm and find not wanting something but the important thing is just to be honest with yourself another technique I've adopted to help with money that the more you have the more you can help other people and help better your life and your family and your friends and everyone around and creates an action so
