How to stage a Zoom Thanksgiving

"Everyone jefferson graham. Here talking tech. If you're like me you're probably going to be doing a virtual thanksgiving Travel plans or a little odd right now during this kobe era. And we're gonna be spending even more time looking at a video screen instead of seeing people in person but that's okay. I'm here to make it a little easier for you in a talk about how to set up your tech what you'll need. Think about zoom. Think about laptops phones tablets. Think about tv. Think about a dedicated video display device. Which is my number one recommendation love or hate facebook but you can't get over the fact that the portal is hands down the best video calling device on the market and nowhere. Would it be more useful than the thanksgiving table. It's a dedicated unit. You do nothing but video chat on it and it's got the best camera it follows you around So that you could have like four people at the table as each person speaks to camera would then zoom in on that person. It's pretty amazing technology. The a portal. Get the small one. Get the eight inch. Cost one hundred and twenty nine dollars. I checked on the facebook website today. They have plenty of units. And if you order now you could have it by this weekend. The tenants version one hundred. Seventy nine dollars. The fifteen inch is two hundred and seventy nine in the great thing about the portal. It works with either facebook messenger or zoom which happens to be the world's most popular video meeting service. Google has its own video. Display unit called the nest hub. Max similar camera. It works with google meet which is not as popular as zoom and amazon's echo show can either connect other echo show devices or any phone or tablet with alexa app. So you guys could see your guests on their phones. Ba fine tablets. I think those are good. Nice big screens. Just make sure to get something to hold a tablet stand. Because you don't wanna put greasy hands all over that shiny ipad ditto for the smartphone. Same tablet stands should be able to hold your smartphone in place. If you don't wanna get the tablets stand. Get inexpensive table top tripod for twenty dollars or so. The laptop is probably what most people are going to be using Stick it at the head of the table and just sort of moving around as the dinner continues. Most important tip is to keep an eye level because usually the webcam is looking up your nose. Making your double chin. Looked like a quadruple chin. Put your device atop a bunch of books and remember to look at the camera not at the screen. You're you're making eye contact with the camera. Otherwise you're looking down. Hey what about using the tv. I've got a tip for you. They're apple has really cool feature called airplay. Which lets you beam images video and the like from iphones ipads and mac computers to other devices. If you can connect your apple tv setup box to your tv via airplay you can bring zoom to the really big screen. Additionally several tv manufacturers also have new sets that work with airplay as well including samsung. Lg sony video. Finally don't forget about the lighting if you're gonna go really dark and light candles. Nobody's going to be able to see so turn on the lights. Get out some extra lamps in have fun meeting online.

BNB, BTC & ADA All Poised For High's

"Had a bit of a bit of unlock yesterday, even it will not. Actually, found a little trade on bonnets. Yup a little one hour play and alarmed it up. This was a while goes ten o'clock Before bed actually and Yeah. I wanted to get. Fifteen hundred contracts or something like that on Bonnets Filling seventeen. Now it has run on to do well a one to one and you know I'd I'd have my first target hit. I am still along with tried united such a such A. Tiny position the toddler with, but markets are starting to move slyly bitcoin. Now, ten, thousand, seven, hundred, non different of course, low lost weight down to a low of ten, thousand, three, hundred and seventy-five up to the weekly chart right now there is another rejection candle it's not the most bullish candles in the most bearish channel everything I have said lost wake is very much still live to die tapping that I gotta get US above eleven thousand, two hundred really to see this trend continue. Progressing Hi this could potentially see US high low On the daily by Snyder's lawyers all loss week, ten, three, seven, five if we would break up now through ten, thousand, nine, hundred, sixty three that would be the first of the higher highs in this trend. Now, I will still hold out for eleven to or might be trading on the way off to that weekly wise well closed down but only one. percent closing at ten, thousand, six, hundred, seventy, four dollars represents by role as has been relatively Saad wise move onto a theory of knowledge is also had awake the didn't do all that well down one point full three percent again, not much really going on and what can the charts tell me well a guy on a break up above three seventy, one goal. That way we would have allies and I hire Hawk confirmed in there were three, hundred, fifty, four dollars and seventy three cents right now not looking too much is going on one of the big movies however has been next I'll pay of six point five percent yesterday closing the week out well off yet it was up closer to twenty four point seven cents up one point, eight, seven percent and today to the dot as well. It's up two point one, one percent where twenty five dollars and three cents at. Tell you what does inau speed of movement is just straight up in the air right now not really that tribal unless you're looking at boost trades in which case high. Be Onto something there. It keeps on pushing on the first autopsy tend to really push into that's uptrend as did break up through the high of twenty four point. Five cents. When they have a high low and I hire some extra thirty lodging it up more than in the US thus five. Come to Bitcoin cash look it sitting at two hundred and twenty two point. One five percents to die the loss wake down three point six percent closing at two hundred twenty, one dollars, five cents eight still remains one of the average shots out there. But I'll tell you what we get above two, thirty, four, nautical 235. and. We will have a high. At a higher hard to go with that. So beekeeping laugh that the wake last week we did see lot Quinn actually closed up. One point three full percent because the wake up at forty, six dollars and seventy three cents not so much more to speak of really on that John. A couple of weeks a couple of all sorts on that if we can get ourselves about forty dollars fifty, we will have a high low in the higher higher, the home market starting to look like this. Is Ever be as we can get ourselves above one eight. Hundred, seventy cents will have a high heart a guy with that. Currently, we're at one, hundred, sixty, three, thirty, I lost week we closed down five point six percent closing a one, hundred, sixty dollars and ninety seven cents not. Really to be honest with you there. While the NAS looking shots currently out there in play at the mummies cod Donna and the reason I say that is because we have a very clear potential. Day at potential, high or low, and that highlight comes in the form of two point, nine, seven cents I want to see a break above ten point seven. Ten point seven cents gives us a very clear high or low in high high, which will sustain hopefully progressed highs as progressive high highs and more upside lost weight would add four, point, three, six percent. We are starting to gain a little bit of momentum were non twenty, nine, three cents two point seven point four percent on the day to die dowse fires. Trends Guy Look bonds as one of those trends at ease in motion does look strong and the last couple of days is put on a good six six percent does. Comedy starting at Twenty Nine dollars, and twelve cents up point seven, three percent on the Diet was lost weight that I was impressed. We saw the week prior having only closed down point six, five percent but at one stage we were down. Twenty to twenty, I forget the without closing at twenty six sixteen. So very big rejection of those lows. Now Lost Weight, we saw ten point five percent gains placed on bond answers well, closing twenty dollars and ninety one sense. It's above twenty nine dollars right now, and it does look very, very strong. It is a market as I said that I've been looking for trading opportunities and there have been several now that was the one last night. It was another one this morning around that town I am monkey may have found an opportunity. There is one of. Those trade boost tries well, it's GonNa be there for you as well very nauseating market there on Bonnets I will do what she that throughout the waking for more opportunity

8th-Generation iPad: First Impressions

"The eighth generation IPAD may not be the sexiest new tablet on the block with the starring price of three, hundred, twenty, nine dollars. It might be the one you're most likely to buy. So Is it worth? I'm Roger Chang and this is your daily charge with me is our IPAD expert Scott Stein welcome Scott. So Scott we had you on right after that September apple than to show your impressions of all the announcements and the eighth Jan. ipad was not the most exciting product mentioned. You know we spent a little time talking about it but. You spent a few weeks with it. Has, your. Opinion Changed, are you what are you feeling about it now I think it's fine. I think it is not surprising IPAD. This is an IPAD that reminds me of last year's ipads because it practically is last year's ipads the the IPAD air twenty nineteen and the IPAD mini in two thousand nineteen had the same chip the IPAD air in this at the same Ram. It's basically that for less. There are some trade offs here that are tiny, but the IPAD air was more expensive. Now, that's now that's an all on the apple store. The IPAD mini is, but it's a tiny bump up in price. So you know three, hundred, twenty, nine dollars. This gets in at a much more affordable proposition, the the IPAD air that's coming. which is who knows when it probably in a couple of weeks is more expensive at starts at six hundred dollars. So it looks nicer. It looks like a less expensive pro. But I think when you're talking about almost doubling the price that. That really gets into a different territory for people. Yeah. Definitely. Anthony Twenty nine starting at three, twenty nine. It's obviously the most affordable option for someone looking for an IPAD. Ultimately for you who should be looking at this IPAD is primary option I. think if you just think of an I had something to have lying around check my email to look at shows to have one for your kid. This is that one if you don't care about step up bells and whistles, you don't want like a fancier toy. Not to call ipads toys I think they're very useful but I think that there is a point at which if you try to push an IPAD to become your everyday computer, you're going to have what you call pain points. You know you're going to have these difficulties that increase as you try to throw it out more. And I go to my laptop all the time because I need to. So that's the thing about the pro. He's got a lot of upsides that could be interesting, but you really have to map out whether that makes sense for you and if you WANNA think of it as like a fun thing for you but IPAD is totally perfect doing all that other stuff that being said. You know you got to bump up from the thirty two gigs of storage I think. That is too low an amount. For for what you'd be paying for this if you want it to last. Year's, and then you're talking about four twenty, nine Ri-, which slightly changes the equation a bit. He does you talked about our kids using this and a lot of kids obviously doing remote learning right now I've got a friend of mine who know he told me when he offered his kid a Mac, a choice between a Mac and ipad actually chose the IPAD. But isn't that really geared for remote learning for Education I think the older you get it's it's very nonsuited for it. You know we have a seven year old and eleven year old seven year old uses an ipad that we have around that. We use for remote learning it suitable. I think it's great. For eleven year old uses a chromebook and I think that's what you absolutely need for the types of. Work assignments you're doing your editing stuff, etc. Now ipads work with track pads, and so there's like on the entry level ipad they don't. It doesn't have this gets to accessories. Apple has beautiful but very expensive magic keyboard. That's like three hundred dollars. There are different accessories for this entry ipad. There's a Logitech Combo touch, which is still expensive one, hundred, fifty, dollar track pad keyboard I've been using with it. It's kind of like a surface with a kick stand. Type layout, but it's good for turning into a kind of a laptop but the point is that you can edit use a track pad. You'd be surprised at it can do more than you think, but some web apps some tools a google drive works well with it now but like some things don't. And you just don't know whether you get to that point where a problem especially with file storage file maintenance and chromebooks are weird too. But they're much more like web tool type based. Think the IPAD gets a little bit hotter with that. It, and then the I mean the big difference here as you said, it's identical lashes model. The big difference is the H. Wealth processor. How people differences that make you know I'm so used to seeing like. Standard. New I IPAD iphones. It doesn't feel particularly special, but I think it's necessary to get up to speed with. We're is going and we're going the processor was a couple of years old. It was feeling a little sluggish. They twelve is not like super zippy in comparison it's it's basically fine. It gets to the like very good fine point. So you know I could use an IPAD totally, but I think it's getting to the point where you might not be able to use it. So on the future and it gets to the point, I don't think you need to upgrade to this win -sarily. If you have an IPAD lying around, that's working fine you can probably keep using it. This is like you know between this last year's IPAD entry of like last year they did the. Works at Pencil works with the smart keyboard made the screen a bit bigger. It adds up to like one set of upgrades. But this thing still uses lightning. It still has a home button, the Basil's or kind of big. So for Split Screen APPs, it's not ideal. That's a the cameras a little less good than last year's IPAD air but that's not the problem. It's on the side ipad cameras on the side that kind of sucks because. You. Know if you're doing zooms and things like that your faces off center and I have not really sell for that and they should but I don't know how long it's GonNa take for an ipad to have a side. Mounted. Camera. To address this. So just F Y that's another thing now that we're doing everything over zooms in remote,

The beauty hall for 2020 is here

"All right. So normally, we always start out with skincare. We know that you guys are huge skin care junkies, but there's so much news make up that. Honestly we have to give it some love straight off the top, and we're going to start with none other than rare beauty, the new line by Selena. Gomez. Okay. So I did not get my package a curly, and so I'm very excited to hear what you thought of the line and what you think the winners are and just definitely part of this bigger trend we're seeing right of so many celebrities launching makeup lines right now. Yeah it's. True I feel like they used to be kind of like on the poster to represent like a new lipstick or something in these big campaigns, and now it's as though they've stepped out of the frame and they're really owning their own lines it really you know with Selena Gomez I know that health is a topic that's really close to her heart. So we know that one percent of the proceeds from this whole line is going toward increasing access to mental health services. So I, think just having like so much more integrity behind his lines as what makes them not just a flash in the pan. Committed to one hundred, million dollars over the next ten years. So that's a pretty big deal that's super exciting, and of course, we know that Sephora, is behind this line as well. It's exclusive to Sephora so although it's not one of the Kendo brands. So to speak I, feel like you know Sephora they get all that Intel from their customers they know what they want and they really brought a lot of I would say like. Thoughtfulness, to these formulations, I think that's where a rare beauty really wins. Okay. So let's hear about it because I know a lot of people were kind of comparing it to fantasy like one what's been your experience so far? What's what have you been? Loving. So my favorite product from the lot is the rare beauty liquid touch weightless foundation, and so that's the one everyone's going to compare it Fendi. It has forty eight shades except this one is only twenty nine dollars, which is cheaper than the fence is thirty eight dollars Canadian, and of course, it launched just at the beginning of September I really love it. So first of. All just tell you like what it is. It's meant to be a lightweight valuation that goes on Super. Naturally but it has quite a bit of pigment to it. So it will give you a medium to full coverage finish and I think we're all familiar with the bottle. We've probably seen it on instagram. It's as beautiful like it's got the sculptural shape to it. So it then bottle and then it has like this white ball on the top definitely GonNa look good on your shelf e and when you open it, what's really unique is its got this gigantic doe foot applicator like it almost reminds me of the applicators of those. Big Conceal that were coming ask chair. Yeah. Yeah and it's meant to be like a Serum Foundation. So you actually shake it and you can hear that click, click click inside and I'll be honest I've tried serum foundations in the past and I don't typically like them usually they come with a dropper and although there really lightweight there's like a slickness and an oiliness to it that I just do not like I I feel like that was like a a flash in the pan kind of a gimmick that I don't think those are going to last but this one goes on and it feels more just like a very lightweight almost. Watery Foundation without having any oiliness to it, but it is quite pigmented. So what you're going to do is you're gonNA put dots on your face like in the main areas where you won't coverage for me that would all over my tease own and then I, just used my beauty blender and blended in as usual and I really found it had a very natural second skin effect. So it's not particularly Matt it's not particularly Dewey it just looks Berry Notch, draw it kind of reminded me of the Bite Beauty Foundation that I really fell in love with lots year that all clocks right because it likes under Sephora I'm sure they definitely Yeah, armed each other. Well, I mean Sephora. So as an example, Nour's launched a soft Matte Foundation this fall as well, and the publicis actually told me that that was in collaboration with Sephora and that they were using all of the feedback from their customers to tell them what they wanted So that was a very different foundation. It's quite matt more like the Charlotte Tilbury airbrush break by yes. A We know that they're kind of feeding into that and that just makes sense I mean Celinas. Not a makeup artist. Maybe, she has van Gogh helping our, but obviously, they're going to be using the power of their knowledge to create these formulas. So I love this foundation I think it's so natural. This is like a new favorite for me but I think it's really representative of the line like what I noticed just having tried quite a few products is that it's like taking existing ideas like for example, the lip souffle Matt lip cream we all know a liquid matlab color, but this one just went on, it gives you a soft finish. And it's so comfortable. But what I liked is it wasn't thick. So they managed to get that pigment without having that thickness like I can never get a clean line with a Matt liquid color. I always have to use my finger to blended then and then you don't get that that nice shape to it. So this when you do so everything was like, yes already out there but this is so thoughtful and it's just slightly better

Why a dedicated Zoom device makes sense

"You'll recall that earlier this week I had a lot of fun with that new Microsoft Eighty, five inch dedicated device for teams meetings. It's only twenty two thousand dollars little much for my budget I. Don't know about you but it's been a week for dedicated video meeting devices after that Microsoft announcement though I gotTa love, Amazon's answer which came later in the week, a dedicated ten inch unit for two hundred, fifty dollars the echo show ten, which lets you go through Alexa to connect to zoom skype or Alexa to Alexa direct calls two hundred and fifty dollars. Twenty two, thousand dollars I think I'll take the cheaper one Alex, thank you. I think these dedicated devices when they're priced, right make a lot of sense i. mean think of the kids were stuck at home taking school on their laptops. Now, they could have one more unit just displaying the teacher and lessons which would give their hands free for schoolwork and no taking on the laptop make sense for those of you who are taking meetings all day. The same issue applies isn't it hard to take notes when your laptop screen is filled with Speaker video windows. Plus this way you wouldn't have to worry Webcam placement after all his best to be at eye level which most people ignore and not have the Webcam looking up your Chin that requires putting the laptop atop of a bunch of books which gives you a better look, but it makes it really hard to type. So the savvy speaker or student would have to constantly move the books around that dedicated service on the desk would solve the issue living atop the. Books that could just stay there and not have to be moved around. So Amazon has the echo show ten, which will be out later this year it'll let you connect the Webcam to the TV via the hundred and twenty dollar fired TB Cube device. So so maybe it won't be watching eighty five inches how about fifty or sixty sounds pretty good p particularly when you consider that you can buy a good fifty inch these days for about three hundred dollars. Now, the Amazon solutions won't be available until later this year. But if you have a facebook portal video chat device, you can use the dedicated unit now to connect to zoom because the update started rolling out today. The portal started one, hundred, twenty, nine dollars, and they're available in three sizes at eight, inch, ten inch or fifteen point, six inch. The addition that connects the TV which is called. Portal. TV is not yet supported for the zoom calls meanwhile, that's not all folks next week on Wednesday Google holds its annual fall hardware product event where it's expected to unveil a new top of the line smartphone and updated streaming device and a new take on the nest home hub video display unit last year's nest. Didn't work with zoom or initially even with Google's meat though it does now but not zoom zooms coming later, and I know I can pretty much rest assured that the new Google video display unit we'll be working with zoom and hopefully working well

Thanks to the Pandemic, Apple’s Big Event Was Just … an Event

"Been covering these sorts of apple events in product reveals for a while now yes. Seventy five years. Have the one compare it was definitely very different though in June we had apples developer's conference and it was pretty similar to that. So in the sense of we're getting used to this, but it's definitely different than me flying out to Cupertino waiting in line to get into a big amphitheater in a room packed full of. Apple Employees, other press, and hearing a lot of excitement about new products. And on the products, let's start with that side of things. What are your biggest takeaways from what was announced and what star listeners be thinking about when they go to buy their next of ice I think the biggest thing I want everyone to remember when they go to buy an apple device is that getting the most expensive apple device doesn't necessarily anymore mean it's the best one to get. Now sure there are going to be features that they're going to have in these higher end products like we saw yesterday with the Apple Watch series six announcement. That is a three, hundred, ninety, nine dollars watch. But we also got an Apple Watch se that starts at two hundred, seventy nine dollars and has a lot of the features you would probably want seeing that also on the IPAD so you can get a three hundred twenty, nine dollar really good ipad. You get an IPAD air new IPAD air that's five, hundred, ninety, nine dollars or you can go up to the eight hundred dollar ipad pro but that IPAD air is actually a really good value and has a lot of the same things as that pro. and. We also heard a lot about services. Apple has really been leaning into this part of its business lately. Did we get any news there? We heard a lot about services yesterday and I think it was really interesting how apple threaded that throughout the hardware announcements specifically fitness plus announcement, and this was an announcement of a new on demand video workout service think about your Peleton's about your other sort of video workout videos but this comes. With an Apple Watch or you have to pay extra ten dollars a month to get this with your Apple Watch and this really sort of emphasizes if you've got this wash if you've got this hardware, then you can also get the service and for apple that means you're going to have recurring revenue. You're going to have this customer who didn't only pay for the hardware, but is now gonNA pay a monthly service fee for this new service. So some changes there another big change normally a new iphone would be the headliner of this event that's been pushed because of coronavirus related supply chain issues. But given everything we saw yesterday do you have any predictions about what new features we might see when that eventually is announced? There is no mention of the iphone which. Actually shocking to me I figured Oh they're going to at least tease it. This is the September event. They're going to remind people. We know we usually gather for the IPHONE but coming soon. But there was none of that. I would say the biggest hint we got about what's coming with the IPHONE is that the Apple Watch will no longer ship in its box a USB adapter the one that you plug into the wall that no longer is GonNa be shipped. In. The box and apple says, that's for environmental reasons that we all have these already why do we need more of these ending up in the landfill? I think apple will do the same exact thing with the iphone coming next month will hold you to that taking a step back here. You know this event is typically meant to really hype up the products that apple announces with no iphone and you mentioned sort of a less flashy event than we're used to. Are we expecting to see an impact on apple's bottom line I would say this is one of the most boring apple events in recent history that said I actually think it could end up being one of the most successful in terms of products announced you had the lower end ipad refresh the three, hundred, twenty, nine dollars Ipad, which we know as a top seller for apple, and now you also have these new apple watches that are. Not as expensive as the usual three, ninety, nine version but one that's more affordable has a lot of health features and you have also this this backdrop of the pandemic and people wanting to spend less and focus on health and I think that the Apple Watch I it's it's been sort of less of a niche product, but it's not spread over to everyone and I. Think this year we're going to see it really broaden its horizons. And here with the announcement of not only the different pricing tiers and having three different models out. But also the family sharing this is a feature they announced where you can actually give the watch to your kid even if they don't have an iphone and you can then set it up and control it and you can also use it to track your kid if they're at school, I think that is really showing how big of A. Market Apple thinks the watch can get into. So they've had things like fall detection for people who are older. They now have this feature for those who are younger. So I really think this is the beginning of seeing the the watch a lot bigger than we had thought

Apple debuts discount watch, but no new iPhones ... yet

"Get ready for some new apple products. The tech giant will unveil new versions of some old products on Tuesday and potentially show off some new ones do, but it's going to be the first apple product reveal without its usual audience. Instead, the event will feature prerecorded demos spread out over a couple of hours. There will be new IPADS and Apple Watch additions and possibly air pod over the ear headphones plus Apple's take on a Bluetooth key finder, but there won't be any new. IPHONES. They'll be unveiled next month Jefferson Graham from USA Today's talking tech podcast as more. Let's start with the IPAD basically a higher end better looking newer IPAD air. This is the product that sells for five hundred dollars as opposed to the three hundred and twenty nine dollars entry level or the eight hundred dollar ipad pro analysts expect an edge to edge display minus a home button and something. I'm pretty excited about touch ID, which is where you press the home button instead of using face id but touch ID will be on one of the buttons on the side of the unit I hate face I It never works for me, and of course, anybody with the mask knows it doesn't work for them either. So I think this is pretty cool the Apple Watch series six it's expected to be more about software than hardware with a more powerful processing chip it's expected to be able to detect blood oxygen levels and watch users could get an improved electrocardiogram feature to check heart rate. No that the roster currently is three, ninety nine for the series five and one, ninety, nine for this series three. So I think series three is going to be replaced with a lower end watch and can't wait to see what series six all about otherwise analysts think. We might see some new over the ear headphones Cold Air POD studio along with the long rumored apple tags, which again is apple's clone of the tile. Bluetooth key tractor tile was. Really popular about two years ago and sort of lost its Mojo. So it'll be interesting to see what happens

With Jockstrap-Scented Candles, Babe Wine Wants to Bring the NFL Home

"Wouldn't want to spend twenty nine dollars on a candle that smells like a jockstrap well, plenty of people. But Hey, if that's your thing now you can babe wind. The official wine of the NFL has launched a line of Senate. Candles intended to bring the entire football experience including the locker room into your home. The twenty twenty NFL season kicked off last Thursday night, and with only a few exceptions, fans can't be there in person this year. So what better way to experience the joys of life football from the sweaty jock straps to the smell of overpriced eighteen dollar Nachos then to invest in Sports Senate Kennels at least. So goes the thinking of the marketing folks at bay wine babe is a can wine owned by anheuser Busch inbev parent company. Of Budweiser, when founder Josh Ostrovsky started the company back in Twenty fifteen it was his goal to make babe the bud light of the wine world know Somalia needed here guys behind the cheeky ads. Is a strategy intended to pump up online sales and the funny bones of Anheuser Busch's most coveted hard to win over market of millennials. As we've reported here before beer sales have been flat lining for some time younger drinkers in particular are increasingly turning the cocktails hard seltzer wine and wine spritzers although it's still the tiniest of all spirits, categories, sales of canned wine or bubbling over over the twelve months ending this June off premises canned wine sales grew by almost eighty percent according to Nielsen off premises. Sales are all those purchased outside bars and restaurants by the way clearly where all the action has been happening the last six months. All these stats are serious business for Babe wines huge parents searching as it is for ways to continue growing as its core product beer struggles. But let's go back to the locker room. Shall we examined the connection between Anheuser Busch's falling beer sales and candles that smell like musk and men's deodorant? Well, no one's buying the bud light of wine for the way it's grapes are grown now they're buying it 'cause babe wine is an instagram hit Ostrovsky is better known by his instagram handle the fat Jewish. He has ten million followers. The brand has one hundred, eighty thousand. So far Ostrovsky is nothing if not both funny and provocative, the brand partnered with dating out, bumble this summer to pay the moving costs to people sick of the X.'s they got stuck living with during the pandemic the two companies mocked up a bright pink truck emblazoned with the sign, your XS canceled babe and Bumbler here to help you move on literally. To enter the contest participants needed to what else tag themselves on the Instagram Post like the signature background in all of its ads, babes, stunts, or designed for instagram especially to attract younger women market anheuser-busch fervently wants to grow. If it's not obvious by now the candles themselves may makes some money. You can buy all three for sixty nine dollars, but they're primarily an attention getting device it to get you to stop scrolling in hit the buy button on a box of canned rose eh read or Pino Griego it's online marketing shrewd. You might say but it's not like babe wind has the wind can market to itself. There are at least one hundred brands of canned wine as makers scrambled to get a sip of this growing market while no single brand stands out as the most popular one that poses a challenge to babe wine is yes. Way Rosa like babe wine. Yes. Way Rosie was launched on Instagram in two thousand thirteen friends Eric Blumenthal and Nikki Hugo near started as an instagram account celebrating Rosie wine. Selling actual y came later the fashion editor and art director soon had a hit on their hands in twenty eighteen there bottled Rosa caught on at target just this year they began selling their grenache blandon Pastel pink cans. Yes Way Rosa doesn't have the NFL stamp of approval minds you but with almost no one in the stands that stadium branding is far less valuable than it would have been pre pandemic and that gives the women behind Guess Way Rosaiah a lot more runway. But they're going to have to come up with something pretty startling to steal attention back for turf, Nacho and. jockstrap scented candles.

Apple's September Event: No Crowds and Likely No iPhone

"The show for more. Everyone Jefferson Graham, talking tech, and you know were here in the middle of September and you know what that means. It's time for apple to have event to wow us with new products except this year. The event is not going to feature the IPHONE. The event is going to feature updates on IPADS and Apple Watch editions possibly era pod over the year a headphone an apples take on the tile bluetooth key finder I don't think it's going to have the same sort of pizzazz without the iphone but you know what we're GonNA end up with is to apple events one in. Mid September another in October, which will preview the new iphone which has been delayed due the the pandemic. Let me tell you what analysts expect to see start. Let's start with the IPAD basically a higher end better looking newer IPAD. Review: amazing TCL/Roku TV for $229

"Graham here with a question when the last time you bought yourself a new. Year after year. You know I've been amazed at the falling prices of sets that would garner seven hundred dollars two thousand dollars just a few years ago, and I just picked up a new forty three inch, T. C. L. set with roku built in for two hundred and twenty nine dollars. Two hundred and twenty nine dollars for a display that offers four K. HD, resolution and HDR. But forget about the acronyms I'm just amazed at what you can get now for two hundred bucks. I bought the TV for a non traditional reason to use it as a giant computer monitor to watch videos that I have edited on my laptop on my little sixteen inch laptop. So I paid fifteen dollars for a ten foot HD my cord. That's the Court of course that connects the TV to other devices and I connected it to my apple macbook pro. It went directly to the TV. I didn't have to spring for an additional twenty five to fifty dollars for a separate. Roku streaming player right so I saved money. The footage looks so great at forty three inches I had to wonder why anybody would go out and spend big bucks on a computer monitor a quick look on Amazon in a forty three inch LG monitor is upwards of six hundred bucks wow. So the other thing once I sit up the TV. I never had to plug in antenna cable box or anything defined oodles of programming. All I needed was a WIFI signal. roku screen name and Password and suddenly I had five hundred APPs available on the platform. A lot of them wanted money from me, but there was many that didn't there was so much free stuff I couldn't believe it. I mean I come from a generation that's used to connecting things to the TV whether that be streaming box whether that be an antenna whether that be a cable box. I mean this is amazing. I can act the nothing. so the APPS. There's the usual Pandora Hulu Amazon Prime Video Netflix's s on and on two big ones missing Hbo Max in NBC's Peacock. Financial negotiations, and then there's the roku channel which is a homegrown collection that supported movies and TV shows mostly on the older side. Batman bewitched movies like the perfect storm, dogs and cats. Crimson tide. And live news channels and these are really good from ABC. NBC and CBS. Accord cutters dream no cable needed. All you need is Wifi and you get more stuff than you'd ever Wanna see without connecting anything. So how cool is that? The picture quality I would rate as a ten for a two hundred dollar TV or five on the overall scale. If you're comparing it to the best of breed leads a fifty inch led from Samsung cost eight hundred dollars for the TCL set. You'll have to sit right in front of it. Turn the lights on low and not be on the sides and that way the pitcher will look its best for a savings of six hundred dollars I can do that.

Sony Xperia 1 ii or OnePlus Nord? (with David Imel of Android Authority)

"Why is it that the minutes before every show? It's like every show usually like you and I. We've podcast it together for so many years now. Something always happens my trust. The audio interface that I bought just spur getting my audio better in all of my content, somehow just crap the bed. And I'm so disappointed right now. Not Technology just doesn't work when you want to, but it'll work at every other time. It's like reporting a review or something and. While I'm using this stuff. Nothing ever works and then I. Try to get it on camera, and it works every time just like I hate this. It's so funny how that works like. The one saving grace. Is that this this audio interface that I'm currently like lamenting and disappointed over? It's only it's only one hundred twenty nine dollars which it's. Anybody out there. That might be thinking. It's still one hundred twenty dollars. Yes, you're right, but in the world of audio equipment. That's actually kind of cheap. Compared to everything else. Yeah, exactly. End So like okay. I just wanted to grant for the first like thirty seconds by David the show. And David has he C-, he keeps things simple. You got your one more triple drivers in. You're just using the Webcam on the surface book three like I got. Props for just keeping things simple. Meanwhile I'm saying I'm over complicating my whole life. You know me I'm a minimalist. It is it is. Handy at the surface book webcams. high-quality, meanwhile, the AH SEUSS Webcam on the laptop that I have which I love for video editing. Doesn't even work. It just stopped working after a week. Of Own and so well you and I've been talking about that laptop for a while now and I'm still so. I'm still so jealous that you have had it for as long as you had like. You've used it extensively and oh, yes, since like November yeah. Without getting into details about what the meeting was about, we were in a meeting yesterday, and he literally had the meeting playing on the second display while editing his video and I was like that's what I wanted to do I. WanNa put Youtube Down there. At the telegram messages from you coming in the side like this now visit multitask. Does that. Does that screen by the way I? Think What's the name of the Zimba-? Produce Road. Do I almost just said Zimba- dual so Zimba Produ? Does that I'm trying to remember? Isn't there a version of that laptop? Now where that second screen can tilt up or does that until they made it? They meeting Gaming Laptop version. This one's like creedy creator laptop in which doesn't really mean a lot. They have very similar specs. Except the new one is slightly thinner, has a better graphics card but yeah, the screen will pop out in tilt towards you and that's like. Nice because then it feels more like an hud where this is like. You know it's flat, but what I do like about. This laptop is like when you lift the lid, it pushes the keyboard up a little bit, so you have a little vertical. Oh. Okay you know, and then of course I got to carry. ME. It's impossible uses laptop without. This yeah. It's so funny that you need that because I love it. I was messing around like the other thing that David has gone me into in the past mechanical keyboards. I played around with so many of them in for a good. Lake Elliott right there. There's IT's impossible to use this without the risk. Basically, it's insanely uncomfortable, so this is really not a laptop. It's really more of like a a desktop rigging portable form. Yeah,

The Trader Joes Haul

"Hey everyone. It's me Lisa Lillian also known as hungry girl. I am here very excited with Mikey and Jamie is. Excited to be here with us. Yes, I'm so excited for several reasons one. I probably sound a little more clear right now because we have new fancy schmancy audio capabilities so I probably sound a little more like I'm next. You guys on thinking that. I'm as happy as I would be. Next year. And I'm also excited because this episode. Wait for it. It's our first hall in months. And not gas any hall. No, it's a trader Joe's hall and I actually I slept trader. Joe's I bought a bunch of stuff. And then what did I do I? Left it on your doorstep. It was the best surprise delivery ever. We didn't know what you guy. We just knew there was a bag of traderjoes. Yeah so we've got a whole bunch of stuff to taste, which is super exciting, because not that I. Don't love the podcast that we do, but I'm going to be honest. My favorite ones when we try foods. Are You with me? I'M NOT GONNA lie. I'm I pretty excited about them too, and I think the audience loves them I think so too, and today's podcast is also sponsored. Do. You want to know who. You! Two hundred who it's also. I already know, but it's a great sponsor, so tell us wait. You already know Jamie, you really blueberries. Today's podcast is sponsored by a bean boom. I love that name, but are being about a boom so clever. It's really fun to say it is. Let's say that for the next half hour. Being okay I'm. GonNa stop. I'm really annoying I'm GONNA give you. The history of a bean bought a boom. I. I don't know if you guys out there. Know this, but the fantastic people behind enlightened ice cream that ice cream that were obsessed with that we love. They created these crunchy snacks several years ago. They're made from roasted broad beans or fava beans, which I was unfamiliar with believe it or not like. Are you a father of being Fan Norman until I turned? I only knew of them from that movie. fava beans with. The lands exactly well. These are like it's this crunchy snack. That is incredible like they come in one hundred calorie packs. There's like thirteen flavors everything from sweet Saracho, sweet onion, mustard, zesty ranch spicy was sobbing nacho cheese. They even have sweet flavors that are great to you can eat the straight out of the package like instead of like a pretzel or a chip and you know I'm obsessed with like salty. Snacks and their portion controlled and they're loaded with protein. They have fiber. They're good for your. They're all natural there Vegan I don't even know where to stop their amazing. They're D- best. I do not know how they squeeze so much flavor and crunch into those little bits of deliciousness. And like the thing that gets me so excited is whenever there's a product that I love. It's like I personally feel responsible if people are going to invest in buy something and if somebody doesn't love it I'm like wait. You'RE GONNA love it, but in this case I have to say they're running a special that you. It's like too good to be true. You get fifty two bags individual snack bags for twenty, nine, ninety seven. It's under thirty dollars for fifty two bags. You get all the flavors I think it's like four of each flavor. which is incredible, and so it comes out to like sixty cents a bag and they call it the boombox which is. So cute. We put this in our email. The other day and people went absolutely wild, I think they sold like seven hundred and fifty thousand just kidding. They sold Laurie. There's still some left. And it's normally it's normally already a great value. But you hit that twenty nine dollar mark with the forty percent off hungry girl, special right right. Yes, and they have to use code hungry forty hungry forty, so people go to being snacks, dot com, or you can go to Hungary Dash, go dot, com slash food cast when you see that link for the boombox use code, hungry forty and get free shipping and forty percent off, which is so cool, yeah? So, so good and I have to tell you Lisa. Do you know what my favorite uses for about you I bet you could guess for about about him. Probably has to do with lettuce towers so. It's like I can't even. It's just the flavor that it brings in the crunch. It's like croutons times a thousand. I agree with you, but my favorite uses just like stuffing them in my face. Dreamy which flavor do you go to? The I think. Is there a barbecue one? You want rbq. That's my favorite. That's my. Saracho. I Nelson like the sweet cinnamon on Yogurt on Greek yogurt. It's like I. I can't even it's so good.

Trump and Pence say they see signs of US COVID-19 outbreak stabilising

"Daybreak president trump vice president pence say they see signs of the corona virus outbreak stabilizing we are joined now by Dennis Gartman the economist a formally of the Gartman letter Dennis it's always a pleasure thank you for taking the time with us this morning we are seeing stocks higher today because of that optimism that we've been talking about this morning coming out of the White House what is your reaction to the move in the markets and is that going to last well I doubt that a show last very long there's no the markets have a tendency to to rebound fifty percent of what they have lost in in in in bear markets and bear market rallies tend to be very dangerous and very swift very volatile the fact that we have the the Dow trading into a trip down futures at twenty one seven hundred right now twenty one thousand seven hundred can we get to twenty four thousand in the next week or two on a technical bounce of course we can but are we likely to see new highs in the near future now or not I think this is a dead cat bounce one that can be played on the long side and I think that last week's lows if you're going to be a buyer you put your stops order stop order then at last week's lows but so this last for more than a week or two I doubt it one of the problems that we haven't come in in the in the stock market is a great buyer the then companies themselves have been buying their own shares for years and years have basically been precluded from buying some buying their shares back for years and years into the future so the great buyer is gone but is this a good bounce yes can be traded from the long side yes should you traded from the long side I doubt it and if you wish to be longer stocks better to be short of the bond market that's probably the better correlative trade as the oil did give up some of last week's rally it does look like it is starting to pare back some of those losses Cruz lawyer lower although what what do you think of oil prices turned the corner I doubt that oil prices have turned the corner also but but again just like the stock market a good bounce was required a good bounce has been had and watch the without getting too esoteric what's that the term structure the shifting nature the front month versus the second third and fourth month back beginning early last week when crude oil is on its in in the dinner on the downside the the the term structure began to now which was the first bullish sign here we have the the the the market having rallied from one nineteen ninety in nearby WTI to twenty nine dollars a day per barrel which is a huge balance if you think about it today the term structures actually turning somewhat berry so I think the the the rally in the crude oil market has probably run its course and if you're going to trade crude oil trade from the short side nitrate only from my own account my retirement account I'm in the market every day I don't have any crude oil position on right now but if you made me do something at the short of it the president has said that he doesn't think he's going to have to impose the tariffs on imported oil but he's also holding that option in reserve what would that do well that would clearly tighten up the with the WTI Brent spread you'd probably take WTI to a premium over Brent I think it would be an illogical and very badly designed very bad decision on the president's part any talk of any tears in any instance it's going to be deleterious to whatever to the to the to the stock market that ostensibly to the crude oil market dramatically but it be beneficial to WTI so if you if you're if you're a believer in putting those tariffs on probably the trade you want to put on his long WTI short brand but then I going to do that on my own account now it's your money well bonds are the haven of choice for a lot of people are they getting too expensive now bonds are way too expensive I I had I see no reason why anybody would want for the long term down ten year treasuries with a sixty five basis point handle sulfur again I trade only for my own account and on Friday actually went short modestly mater marginally small tiny for the first time in a long time but I'm actually short a little bit of a long and and my propensity is to add to it because I I do think if we get a a good technical bounce a good dead cat bounce in the in the stock market you'll get a correlative decline in the long end of the yield curve so I'm trying to get them short of the the bond market for my own account and thinking of adding to that position this morning I just can't imagine anybody wants to own for ten years a treasury security that has a sixty five basis point

"Twenty nine dollars Google photos account required. All right. Chuck Todd host the television show. Meet the press. Other people are posted it. He does it so much that decided to do it all week long depressed daily. We'll get you need to meet the press all the time. Meet them enough once a week. And he sat down for podcast last week. It's about the Recode decode podcast. He was with his colleagues, Andrew Mitchell and Halley Jackson. And they were talking about Trump's win the presidents win during twenty teen. And Chuck Todd says that Trump's supporters were merely gullible. Listen to this part of me in my head zoomed, people were discerning it out new the BS from the ninety s I think what my sort of shock to the system is just how gullible. A big chunk of the country was to this in gullible because maybe they wanna be gullible gullible because maybe they wanna be gullible Hans Chuck Todd is saying out loud. What too few of his colleagues ever do which is the truth here is yeah, they have a lower regard for President Trump? But imagine if they have a low regard for the president, what must they think of the people who elected him, listen, it's very clear, if you if you work in Washington, you quickly see that the members of the elite media like him on the left. They have unbelievable contempt for the American people. I mean, they they look down on and are dismissive of the average American, you know, the people who actually do the work that that keeps this country going the emotions on this as you as you. So rightly pointed out, they range from patronizing to just bitter. Those were the only two options to ask say the average member of the elites in Washington. And this isn't just for the press. This is discussed for political consultants people in the city, we have a low regard for the. The average voter. And you're asking me, what do you think they either feel bad for them? They're like other just port robes. They don't know what they're doing. We need to tell them which direction ago or you get the opposite perspective, which is like, they're disgusting. They're disgusting people, and I can't believe and of course, they're so dumb. Why would they they've of course, they voted for Trump? He says they're gullible. Well, two of the things that Trump promised was, hey, I'm finally going to enforce our immigration laws, and hey, I'm going to appoint conservative judges on supreme court the gullible American people they wanted that. And that's one thing that he's been delivering on. Yeah. For so gullible. I mean, how many years have gall ability can of the American people put up with. I mean at some point. You're hey, all these politicians aren't keeping those promises that we voted for the Mont. Right. "Jumps from twenty nine dollars to three hundred hottest seniors pay does any family pay for that. Right. Young people. It just we can sit here, and I would invite you back because I think there's a lot when you talk about big pharma of what's going on. But let's talk about your no lobbying plugs talk about people knocking on your door. What do you mean by that will the no lobbying pledges to get rid of this revolving door where people, you know, it when they're in congress they end up with the variety of conflicts of interest that you would never allow in the business world. And so the problem is people leave congress, and then they go work for these lobbyists earning huge money based upon the relationships they made while they were in congress. And so again, when they have that to look forward to that revolving door with the lobbyists, it skews their perspective, it skews their incentives to actually do the right thing for their constituents versus doing the right things for these lobbyists and the industries who employ them. Did you know that today that Anna Roosevelt? Did you hear this today? She's the GRANDE. Daughter of president Roosevelt cited Betsy raider is the one that's gonna chase save social security with someone else reading I reread it. What what this is really interesting that you're not only breaking the fourteenth is year across the country. People are flashing your picture on Fox News doing this not to we'll continue on the lobbying. But when you have outside of saying social security, and that pledges with if you don't have social security, how are you gonna pay your mortgage? Most importantly, hanging to pay for those pharmaceuticals and most seniors are taking something even if it's a blood pressure medication that's expensive. Have you met Anna Roosevelt? No, I haven't. But I tell you. I was telling my campaign manager yesterday. How incredibly honored I was by that endorsement, the I it really was a thrill literally set chills up my spine when I found out that she was endorsing me, and it came at a very timely point. Because actually Dave Joyce earlier this week. Week. There was an NPR interview where he said that to pay for the tax cuts that they just passed that we're going to have to cut social security and Medicare, and so that all came together at just coincidentally at a very key time where it's become more and more clear that these tax cuts the plan. I think all along has been that they would use that as an excuse of the data set they've created to cut social security and Medicare that so many people rely on and because you're so educated, and you know, that's something we have to emphasize we'll have to educate people to win a Roosevelt is. It's really true. They're talking about if you had Sandra Day O'Connor, the supreme court Justice who retired and said, I'm going to pull back my public life because of dementia, but her last plead was police put civics back and government. So people know there's three branches of government the voting blindly. And I'm talking this is a person listening to campaigns. I think that's one of the reasons Betsy raiders name is across the country. People are listening to common sense. There's some common sense here of what can be done. But when you're looking at the no lobbying. How will you find out if some was a registered lobbyist, whether it's foreign local will you have someone on your staff looking at that to make sure that you're not speaking to someone that would influence you. Yeah. I mean, they are registered. So there is a way to know that and and usually, of course, I haven't been in congress yet, but they Sunday tended kept their hand and terms. Of what they're what they want to talk about. You know, when you're looking I think the other thing is healthcare. Everyone's talking about pre existing conditions in healthcare. You've been batted around in fact today, I think folks smart came out and said, we normally don't talk politics. But what's being said about Betsy raider is not true. So where do we go from here? Tell us about your healthcare policy and pre existing conditions. Sure. So my position has been that we should keep the ACA. It shouldn't been repealed shouldn't be repealed. Tom Affordable Care Act. Sorry. Yeah. Carrie, I watch a lot of people. Call a bomb care, not always in a nice way. And you know on my opponent campaigned on repealing ObamaCare and had voted thirty one times against that. And it's really one of the things that drew me into running for congress says that people were terrified about losing coverage for pre existing conditions, which how the Affordable Care Act did that impart and did it without ballooning. The data set was by having everybody buy insurance not just sick people with preexisting conditions. And what that does is expense the risk pool for the insurance companies. So what happened is what you know, they tried to repeal the Affordable Care Act. John McCain stop that from happening with his vote in the Senate thumbs down thumbs down. And so you still had the Affordable Care Act, but then the Republicans proceeded to gut it and try to make fall apart and one thing that they did in this tax Bill that. My opponent. Dave Joyce was very much in favor. As of is they got rid of the requirement that everybody buy health insurance. Now that getting rid of that requirement that everybody has a health insurance. Has led the Republicans attorney generals have a bunch of the states to file a lawsuit saying that it's now unconstitutional to require insurance companies to cover preexisting conditions. So they're using that tax Bill to argue that pre existing conditions cannot constitutionally be required to be covered. And so they're endanger again, can I ask you one question. We've had Representative Joyce last week. He said I've never spoken publicly, but I have a stent place in my heart. I have a process condition will why would I be against it is that an accurate statement that he would be for pre existing conditions. Are you saying no I'm saying that I look at what is actions were. And he voted thirty one times to repeal the ACA simply repeal it with nothing to replace it. Nothing about saving preexisting conditions. No plan b no plan B, and I have yet during this campaign to hear any plan. Be from here ham. All he talks about his steps earrings. All that's not a plan. I mean, that's a hearings. Okay. But what's the plan to cover preexisting condition? The other thing, you know, women. There's whispers when women one Nancy Pelosi will tell her everything to do. Just listening to you. You're not pledged to Nancy Pelosi or anyone else in the congress. No, not at all. As a matter of fact, I actually ran for office a long time ago in Iran is an independent I've never really even been involved with the Democratic Party much less beholden to anybody on it. I have run very much Mike campaign. So I will make my own decisions. According to what's best for my constituents. And I would just note, you know, that one other thing that they have sat in these ads that have gotten four Pinocchio from the Washington Post. They've been called out universally as lies is that supposedly I have a plan that would kick people off of their employer health plan and cost thirty two trillion dollars, and that's a complete. It lie. What I have talked about as having an option to buy into Medicare which would be a lower cost alternative, and then we'd compete with private insurance to bring the costs down. I have never said that I am Parrella gating people to a government takeover that would kick them off their health plan. They're just making that stuff up the Akron beacon journal setback. So if someone wants to really find Betsy raider, the true blue Betsy raider where can they find that information? Super easy. I have been very transparent you can go to Betsy raider for congress dot com. Unlike my opponent, I have laid out my positions on all the key issues. You can also go to the legal women voters guide guide. My opponent has never responded to any of their questionnaires. And they're frankly, if you Google me, I have responded to questionnaires that are public all over the place, you Google Betsy rate or you can be ten hours because the one thing I've if you're a woman in politics and you go back Emily's less June. What Emily stands for I do and most people don't, but it's early money is like yeast, it's spreads. And I think women have caught onto Betsy raider. And you said how many parties I wanna call the parts? How many meet and greet serve? You had just with people in a living room talking while just in two thousand eighteen we celebrated our hundred living room, meet and greet. So that doesn't even count all the town halls. I've held an advanced lab attendant. That's just how many one hundred living-rooms I've been in. If elected will you continue that? So you hear living room conversation. Absolutely. I'll be doing that as well. As high took this town hall pledge said tickets, really important that you be transparent and open and people you can't say one thing to one person privately in different thing to a different person privately. I think town halls are really important. And so I've pledged to hold a minimum of four of those a year. It's something Dave Joyce has never done. And so we could talk for hours, but let's wrap up by saying why is it so important that people look at the fourteenth district and look at Betsy writer to vote on next Tuesday November six while this is a key race for our entire country. When you talk about checks and balances and making sure that you don't have a congress that is just acting like it reports to the president rather than being an independent body. The fourteenth district is one of the most competitive races in the. Higher country. We have been on the National Party's red to blue less for some time. I was endorsed by President Obama a few weeks ago. US Senator Sherrod Brown has always won this district. So it's actually race we can flap, and I think it's really important that we had a congress that will do the right thing and be a check and a balance the way it was intended to be by our constitution and listening today. You would take a pledge that you will be an independent in congress. He won't follow the party line. Just because it's a party line. I'll always do what's right for my constituents doesn't get better than that. We're talking with Betsy rate or candidate for congress from the fourteenth district. And if you want more information, you can go to Betsy writer dot com, Betsy writer for congress dot congress dot com. And if you just Google Betsy raider, I guarantee you're directed to that. "Home Depot for twenty nine dollars so we're, paying ten so okay it's not the same seat that you put on but how much difference can how many A solid gold linking who, thinks this way unless there's so much corruption that that's the norm and that's that's, the only conclusion you can come up with it's the culture it's what's expected that's. How they do business. And it's at your expense why. Do we put up with this stuff why isn't that a question that. Somebody asks President Trump, at, a, news conference or any of these other people that, are always in front of the camera Question is how do I think the question is no American with any common sense if you mentioned the story they're they're going to say that's ridiculous How do we change it though I think that's the real question point how do we change it what can we do, as normal they're, American citizens other saying now that that. Won't be the problem because they're going to use three d printers in that'll be much cheaper that semitic culture? It, isn't that the toilet gets fixed what about the next thing that comes along that they need light bulbs that are special for an older plane I I'm happy that. They're using the older planes because, there's, no real difference between the older Blaine in the newer planes except the skin that they wrap the planes in, it's the. Same fuselage the the the the pilots have different things. To work with because most of those planes have the equivalent of a seven forty seven, cockpit so they have all the. Gadgetry that's in it cetera Sunday bump dated all the planes where the gadgetry that makes it safe to? Fly. Him but they don't need? New planes and so if. There are things that are wearing out is this just a symptom is at toilet seats okay what else is wearing Victoria what we have to do, kind, of an answer to, that question Everyone that? We vote for we now have? To ask them and make them put that on their platform going to question these things and go against them because otherwise unless everyone everyone, in congress is, you know against this waste fraud and. Corruption than they're not gonna do anything about it and I guess we have to be the ones responsible for? People, in the up this has got where the governing body here this is democracy government other people it is related democracy through Republic but it's supposed to be one man. One vote was supposed to influence, whether, it's locally state wide nationally it's pretty amazing though what I'm finding this out in my own local situation here, where I'm. On the last page of trying to save the farm. That I love and the people who are making the noise of the same people who've, been responsible for lots of other. Malfeasance and why people listen to them is beyond me but they make a lot of noise they get? Attention. Of the some of the? News media that's local and. So the politicians are afraid of them Men listen Ed so to. What what's the end result in this circumstance it's we are somebody, work listen to think about it this way The normal federal tax Bill is. About ten grand I think right in somewhere in that vicinity so one person works all year long to pay toilet seat in the plane. How does that make you feel when you boil, it, down, that way that, you work all you.

"So if the minimum wage had tracked the wages of the top 1 percent of work of wageearners it would be twenty eight twenty nine dollars today so it you know like raising the minimum wage to fifteen dollars an hour sounds like a lot to a lot of people it's actually a third less than they probably deserve um but they have become so um brainwashed by the sort of relentless trickle down idea that if you raise wages you kill jobs um that they've persuaded themselves that you know that seven 25 is fair and that ten dollars some massive giveaways just nuts it's nuts too giant khan job so the most pernicious thing about trickledown economics is not the idea that if the rich get richer that's good for the economy the most pernicious idea is that if the poor get richer that will be bad for the economy and that's what the american people have been told relentlessly for thirty or forty years and it is an utter lie let me get back to your warning about the pitchforks in our last few minutes together i wonder if that's not such a bad thing i wonder what's wrong with pitchforks may be some of the plutocrats need to get forked yeah well so he here here's the thing is that if passed his prologue that what's going to happen there's almost no example in human history where radical inequality was saw was was um mitigated peacefully.
