Who Is Likely to Win the All-Star Game?

"Now i'm gonna tell you what was wrong this game in it is team rant. And i'm gonna let you know why like hidden in. I think that they're going to be the winner here. Keep in mind this a fun game to see all star game. There is no real. There is no reason to put it all on the line. So i just think these top five and the starting role with young. he's gonna wanna make a name for himself devon booker who another young gun. I believe it was their last year but he had come in as a subject here. So he's gonna wanna do good. I see more youth potential on durant. It's gonna want to actually make a difference a even zone. They gotta sign on on. These guys are young and go on and make statements looked for them to give more effort than people like steph. Curry people like Tombo people like chris. Paul i just i think they're giving give you more effort and that's why i think team durant's get win this game again. It's a fun game. Don't be surprised going down the stretch last two minutes of they just wanna play slam dunk mania because there is no real cost to this game. So you know. I don't think this is a game worthy betting on or immediate. Any real significance is not. It's an all star game. It's weekend time it's fun but nonetheless. Those are your two teams one more time team. The bronze can start with lebron at tombo steph curry luca danni in nikola jokic. They're going to go up against team. Durant team grant kevin's going on his chin leading outfits and on the side he'll be coach and bradley beal. Joel embiid kyle. Erring kawai leonard. Jason tatum those injure starters and then all the other big names league made. It's the one that didn't make. It was trae young from atlanta. Which i i would put trae young on here before julius randle before on coal of Vic i would have put him on there before. So bonus I a big fan of trae young out of atlanta. He hasn't had the greatest. But you take trae young away from atlanta in the garbage and don't get me wrong garbage january's with out him. I mean he really is a one man team in most other teams are relying on much landed and it just goes to show you how good your quick helping gets inside and gets done. Betrayed young. didn't make it and you know they always say you can't have everybody. He's the one person i would have liked to seeing may get But nonetheless getting back to the point here. Atlanta Hawks Fire Coach Lloyd Pierce

"We're gonna start with the atlanta hawks. Who fired their coach. Lloyd pierce today. You could see this coming for a while. And i guess i'm gonna start here. We can get into whether he was doing a good job or not. It seems like he wasn't their fan. Base was happy they. I think they blew eleven. Fourth quarter leads just as year they They're fourteen and twenty for the season. They're close enough to like the four five seed where you can make a case you do this now. Somebody writes the ship. You could still be a top five. Playoff tim my question. Is this when you build your team around this. Entire philosophy new spent three years doing that in that philosophy isn't necessarily working. Isn't that the fatah the gm in the owner over the coach. The coach has to be the fall guy. First and then i think the gm travis slink end up being the second fall guy in the offseason but why does the fog. I always have to be the coach. I with this roster. That clearly doesn't work. I mean it's always the coach because the gm is boss. So you're the gm that's probably the first thing like whenever coaches fired it's almost always gm's ultimately right. Yeah who by the way who hired this coach so a going backwards and this is why i always get criticized from From hawks fans. I'm too hard entree on i'm not. I'm just realistic on training. I'm not sure he's a winning player. He might be. He might turn into winning player right now. I'm not sure where it is. I know he's of the worst offenders in the league but since they got him and i think it all starts to that luca trade and the fact that luca became good right away and they went all in on trae young and that they got basically trae young camera tish They're trying to build this infrastructure to make trae young succeed. That is the goal of this franchise. From the moment they made that trade and they kind of anoint him as disguise can be are steph curry so every decision they make after that is based around this premise. That trae young could be steph curry and that leads to three straight years of decisions that when you look at them early. I don't think they worked. So i don't know who the coach could have been. That would have made all the moves they made. If you're just starting with the fundamental premise. Trae young as the next curry. 'cause he's not. Yeah i think you got to look at it like year one and year to always going to be busts with trae like we're gonna rebuild last year. They're playing and honor like thirty minutes like nineteen and twenty one. So really it's like. This is the first year i really counts for them. This is what the air they spent their money. They had the quote unquote team. They want around trae sh- really to me. It was like two years. We're just gonna burn and year. Three years could come together. And that's why pierce was fired so quickly is because the pressure is on schlink now. Big time. I got a two year window to do every wanted with really no expectations of rigging results.

Atlanta Hawks reportedly agree to contract with Danilo Gallinari

"Well when you look at the hawks signing danilo gallinari who at some point people thought was going to be. The biggest name moved as a free agent for three years in sixty one point. Five million dollars twenty million dollars a year for a guy who's thirty plus now. It looks like a lot on paper. I guess because gallinari has been around for a long time. And you know. Technically past his brian. But he's a very very solid guy. And i likened it to paul millsap being signed by the nuggets a few years ago getting a vet while you have lots and lots and lots of capitalism and crippling yourself too long in the future. I think it'll be totally fine on their books trash. Thanks very good at that with the hawks. Oh three years twenty her effort danilo gallinari. Who is a maker and will make shots when trae young gives him the ball. I think it just fits on the court really really well. They needed a guy who he could. Just pass it to now. It's will you talk about. The wolves really really crowded backward. The hawks frontcourt is now crowded. Gone are is afford these days. He's not playing the three. John collins also four Anita they just draft five. They have clean cappella the five. That's a lot of bodies for sure. But i think just like the wolves. Everybody's on the table you know. They have contracts at every range. I think that's sort of why the wolves beasley to that number. They've got contracts that they can throw in as an asset as a dollar value. Whenever and so. The hawks are ready to deal. I don't think gallinari. Like paul millsap in denver is a part of the championship. Ross envisioned years down the road but when you got money and you got a guy who can make shots I think it just it makes sense again. Not crippling your your Your number in the future

Vinsanity: Is This How Vince Carter's Epic Career Ends?

"Jackie the early ending potentially of the NBA season could also mean the end of one of the longest runs in NBA history. Which at this point is perhaps the most remarkable thing about Vince? Carter's career right. I mean the fact that he's forty three years old he still playing as not playing for great teams so I wanted to start there and ask you a simple question. Why well it's a good question and it's funny because if you go back the fact that this dude has played four decades and played above the rim and then learn to play below the rim. Because that's what I always look at okay if you're a high flying guy and you couldn't do that anymore. Well why are you still playing? Disowning love to the game in respect to the game and the players that played. So that's Kinda why still do it? There's a certain small small number of guys that have incredible Immortal Street cred with other players and he's one of them. You mentioned him to younger players and there is just explode. Can you put in context? How unusual it is that he has played for twenty years. Well it's incredibly unusual because it's taxing game. When I knew I was going to come on this podcast with you. I happen to look game. Seven of the Eastern Conference semifinals which. I'm sure we'll get to but the reason I looked it up because I was curious. How many minutes he played in that game he played forty eight minutes in that game and he played during an era where you played forty plus minutes when the games were important. So that's why I think it's even more remarkable that he's been able to spend four decades because he played during a time when the best players played a lot. So in the intro mentioned that that might have been vince. Carter's final shots a three pointer for the Atlanta Hawks in overtime. What at the season been like for him and his team before that moment. Well it's interesting. They're they're interesting team. I'm sure they're disappointed. Travis Shank has one of the smartest Johnson the league he learned under the Golden State. Warriors Franchise drafted well brought in some really good young players and sprinkled in some veterans to teach them some things. Hence why Vince? Carter is on that roster. Remember I told you before about young players is exploding trae young as one of those players. Because I asked him out to me I still see DECISI. The highlights crazy events has been a true G. for me he's been a guy can lean on. If I have any questions I can go go to him anything. I ne- I can go to vent so and I'm sure he's learned a lot from him but they underperformed if in fact this is the end of the season for them. Now I'm not blaming Vince. Carter for that but I would say that as a whole I think he envisioned being the iota to a bunch of really sharp. Young jet is that we're going to shock the world and it didn't go that way

"trae young" Discussed on The Woj Pod

"Trae young stay with US trade. Do you remember the last time. Maybe the only time you and I have been in these. Espn Seaport Studios Yes. It's crazy 'cause last time I was here. was draft day Early in the morning. crazy day but yeah. That was the last time I think it would have been drafted draft day. Two thousand was it in seventeen. It was it was a morning of the draft. You were here with your dad. Ray Your agent Omar Wilkes from Octagon. And you were here doing all the morning shows. You're doing get up. Maybe sportscenter morale was here. Jay Bilas we're in there and I remember standing in We have those big windows that overlook the river there. Remember saying there with your with your agent Omar Wilkes and I think your dad to trying to navigate that night of the draft and I think I had reported the day before the draft night before the Dallas was was interested in trying to move up to get don-shik and I knew Atlanta was kind of in the driver's seat there. Yeah you know with the pick and that was a You you think. Think back to that draft and that night like how much uncertainty there was right until you the deal came down just as third pick was being announced I think they were. They had the support of the agreement. Yeah no it was. It was a a lot of a lot of different things. Being said BEF In the morning Omar. I was telling me different things. They kind of just let me enjoy the day and having my dad where we're talking I guess they. I kind of figured figured out a thought that the trae was going to happen between Dallas Atlanta early on in the day and They didn't want me to enjoy all the different theories. I was doing the media days I had going on This enjoy the day and didn't tell me until literally the third pig therapeutic was was made so The the trade had happened. So yeah I think like Travis. Lincoln and Donnie Nelson and mark. Cuban think they were hashing out like the details of. I always felt that was going to happen is that they went on because I because I knew Atlanta wanted you travis. Link from the very beginning it's scattered throughout you were his guy and Dallas Dallas felt strongly about Luanch and they have always you know their history with Dirk and they've always been partial to international players open to the idea and it always felt like they were going to get there on a deal but they don't get there till they're that was the night to remember with the hats right people. I I know that bothers bothers people that you like. The traits happened. But it's not been called into the league so everyone always gets flustered. You're wearing yeah. I wrong hat. Yeah I mean it's this kind of weird so now every time I look back on draft day or you look back at the video you see. Megan call them walking across stage. Mass Hat He's walking across stage with the Hawks as was kind of weird different. But it happens. I think is exciting after lead to to do that whenever on draft night But now it's definitely weird trade fourth in the League in scoring twenty seven point eight points fourth in the League in assists eight point five. I remember when you were coming out. mark Kriegel from. ESPN did a great piece about you. And and your dad. Ray Remember one of the things you you said. Was I want to lead the league someday in scoring and assists right tiny archibald is. Done it yeah. Top foreign both in your second year. Yes what about where you thought you'd be. I think so. I mean I knew I had a chance especially how hard our off season To do some some big things as a share I worked extremely hard and yeah no Archibald only one who's who's who's I think he's the only one who's ever done it and and I owe myself to a high standard so for me. It's so about the workout. Put it in the off season in the confidence. I have so Yeah I indepth can see myself when doing it. Trae six and twenty one where the hawks are right now. You're almost in about the same spot last last year. The one common denominator no John Collins this year with the suspension last year with an injury. Think you felt this team was ready to take a step up like people were talking about. Hey this is the league past team. Probably not a playoff team yet but this is going to be a team. People WanNa Watch every night people watch watch for you but when when you learn of John Collins a suspension and he's GonNa lose you know essentially from beginning of the year till will you know through mid late December here. Is this about what you expected knowing what you had left knowing what it takes seeing going through the league once what it takes to win. Yeah now it's definitely tough is definitely todd losing your best players on your team. He's He's a mean he's continuing to work now to get ready for when he gets back to be ready to jump right in and make a difference but Yeah whenever it happened is it was sad news. We are there for John. I felt I felt bad for him. 'cause I mean we were working out a lot this summer together rather I saw the work. He put in in the stuff that he was able to do. We're looking to make a big jump this year obviously With him being auto. It's been tough but we're ready to get him back Here here soon and We're going to focus on that and moving forward. Is it hard to be a really relevant player in this league. If your team's not winning at all no matter what you're doing individually. Yeah it's it's tough it's for me it's When is the only thing I care about? Numbers that as good for for looks that but for me. It's all about winning the that's all I care about coming into the business. All care about the end of the season is how much one where I've been able to leave my team and a and So far we haven't been able to to mean to grab as many wins as I've wanted as our team has wanted so It's it's all about. It's all about game better and We've had we've had a tough steph scheduled to start the season too so Not The schedule. Beer Taylor. More Home Games. I you're coming up so it'd be good for US tray. I had one of your former teammates on the podcast last week. Taurean Prince and he told. Tell me something I thought was pretty interesting. The first college game he ever saw in person he played in the first NBA game. He ever saw him person. He put a hawks. Six Jersey on your. Your childhood was just the opposite. You grew up in Norman Oklahoma City around you all the time but the NBA you. You're down the road from Oklahoma City and You and your Dad Ray would go a lot to the games there and we'll get to that because that was pretty neat what you guys are doing game night but do you have like any context when you think about trying to build with young players in Atlanta and it's hard at first and it doesn't look good it doesn't look pretty it takes here. It is really hard for young teams to win especially with the injuries. But you grew up around that thunder team. Yeah that went through that when you were a young kid you see you have that context. 'cause you grew up around a an NBA team that now. Their trajectory rectory went fast. Yeah but does that resonate with you. Yeah it does it definitely does. It's Kinda crazy. Bring that out. 'cause I mean at three play the rockets in in Houston Able to talk to Russ after a man known for for a long time and Someone of I can talk ought to and gives me a lot of really good advice. He he's talking about his his first season via and when they lost twenty seven games straight. is crazy to see. See that I remember as a kid going to their games and There's watching him play in that the whole young team and just where they were they started started to where the big three really finish Going to the finals in Anna. Obviously breaking up But just I mean the growth if they have when they were just starting together I definitely see I mean a young team like having a chance to hopefully doing that. How long did you talk with? Russ after that game with Houston. I talked to him for. I've talked for a little bit For shaves is a good dude. I mean obviously on the court. He's a dog but He's he's a he's someone who's very very genuine is a good to your rookie year. You beat them at home you you drilled them at home last year when you think of like all the moments in your rookie year to beat. Russell Westbrook beat Oklahoma City. Given you spent at your whole childhood at those games at the one that sticks out with you. Yeah it definitely is definitely up there Ricky season without the definite big moment for means I've been there. I remember going to shoot around that morning of the game and just seeing this looking back where I had my season and tickets at in the stands. This is pretty cool to to to remember those moments. So you drive from Norman to Oklahoma City for the game You would get to the arena win on a game night. Depending on who is playing most of the time. It was an hour and a half before the game whenever they opened the doors. So you'd be standing on the steps of the arena waiting for those doors to open. Yeah Yeah I would make my dad. He wouldn't want to get there that early. Make sure once I got home from school homework At the practice makes you my dad's ready to leave so we can get there for and so would you be the guy like running down the stairs like people start going to the arena. which would be running down the stairs to get down to especially the Super Young Prior like the Middle School Years I was definitely one of those guys. I was running down just trying to get close to the court so I can see those guys warm up and that was the thing right trae watching different guys warm up routines. Yeah Yeah it was. It was something that I mean I took. I love the details though things that stood out to me so just go in there and just watching the warm up and see how they prepare for a game with was I mean you need to me. What was Kevin Durant Mansa routine? His is a lot of balance stuff I mean. He vowed stuffy he still does. Today is a lot of balances him doing stuff. I mean you can't do any game because he's spending on one leg landing on two and Just a lot of balancing Some not remember his about Russ Russ he was doing a lot of mid range a lot of a lot of Just move in A lot of a lot of shooting Just used US breaking a sweat on the he was there. He was there.

"Do you get you get a score you think so if I got if I got the ball ten times against harden do I score ones. I've seen you play. I've seen play. Well the day to the jumpers wet, that's all. I mean that's I'm just going to say that jumpers wet. All right. All right. You just go on anybody. Well, not, not anybody. I think I could score on. You one time where I don't know about. Oh now you're a lockdown defender. You know what when you get to Madrid just mentioned my name, and then they'll tell you, they remember how yeah I put up a triple double, and somebody over there. Hey, enjoy the off season. It's not gonna last long and save travels over to Spain enjoyed the soccer and good luck when the announcement rolls around you have an in an acceptance speech written for rookie of the year. Not yet not yet. Are you going to have one? No probably have it on, on the fuss, that's going to be something yet to talk about on the sly. Well, good luck with that great season. And we'll hopefully talk to you again soon. Okay, thank you. That's that's trae young. The Atlanta Hawks scored nineteen points, eight assists. And that's what stood out. I thought there was another game. Maybe it was the Oregon game but I watched him and I think he had forty or forty four and I came in and I went man, this guy has got range, he was. Plus, he had the green light. And then I thought later in his season is, is only season in Oklahoma. They gave him too much of a green light because he looked worn down and gets back to the welcome. She going to guard. We we always do that. Who who's he going to go? Well, who's guarding him? Now. That's what I always has Steve Nash, couldn't guard anybody. But who was guarding him? Steph curry James harden. Their certain guys who create a mismatch every time you guard him. Yeah. Pull a lot of people jumped off his bandwagon in November and December. Did you notice that? Yes, they did he finished with nine kids twenty years old man. He averaged nineteen points, eight assists, four rebounds, a steal their only thirty one minutes. A game too so and is shooting percentage, not great. But it got better every month, but he also had games of, I think seventeen sixteen sixteen fifteen fourteen assist in, and that's what you know, for a shooter to have those passing numbers. That's that's where you wanna play with somebody like that. Because the trae young, I saw it Oklahoma was different than it lenna because it felt like there was a little more of a pass first. Then what we sold Oklahoma. But he's still, you know, he led the nation scoring and. Assists at Oklahoma remarkable. Yeah. For fritzy. And he started enjoying the assists. More and more, I had read something where when he would set up an alley oop to one of his teammates, he would jump up in the air as his teammates jumping up in the air at the Dunkin' just to feel like a part of it, it wasn't all about how many points it can school. Yeah. And his dad did a wonderful thing, though. You know you helped him out through his entire career and. So interesting. Interesting. Interesting kid, I, we'll take a break here. We'll come back, we got our play the day, and I think we got our poll question, a stat of the day as well back after this, in the Dan Patrick show, every car comes with its share stories, right, that ding.

"But I think when you just break it down to the top two guys dodges still just a hair ahead of what trae Young's done. I don't necessarily understand the need to knock adjust team that had a lot of pieces and was a very very good team that just needed an alpha score. And it just so happened that Donovan Mitchell worked himself into that role over the course of the season. I'll I don't know. How that applies to this hawks team or this Mavericks team. But for someone like me who's champion Luca Danni bandwagon for me to speak so glowingly about his rookie of the year competitor trae young, you know, young has to be special because I don't like to be wrong. And I've talked about Don forever. Anyone who's watched basketball for a long time and understands the game could tell right away when a guy just has it, you know, when the guys basketball player, and you know, what trae young has it. I don't think there's any question about that his numbers absolutely speak for themselves. And you know, they're only gonna get better as the game continues to slow down for him. So this is this is a very apropos it's election day IRAs. You to all go out there and votre young as your of the year. I like how you're stumping for trae young. Now, this is Larry. I think my point with the jazz verse Sixers you're talking about a guy with established players in the NBA like Ben Simmons did versus a guy who had a little bit of a lesser team. You know, a guy that surrounded by an emerging nickel a yoga yoga. Guys like that. He was before last year. He wasn't as prominent of as he is. Now, it's hard to think about that. Because of reasons you bias. But but overhaul it just I'm impressed with both guys. It's hard to say which is better at this current point for their actual role in their actual team. Trae Young's, obviously, a bigger piece to what's currently going on in Atlanta because they're so such little stuff around him, and Don could sort of just kind of slide into a Mavericks team that had some talent around him either way it's neck and neck, and if you're an NBA fan, it's something that I really think is fun to watch these young guys start to take over the league as some of these veterans. Ninety seconds. So listen, no ninety seconds for the first thing we're going to do address. The fact that nickel Yokich is a member of the Denver Nuggets that sorry. That's not what I meant to say. I meant to say there. I'm lose three. Now. It is a lay doing is. It is a late evening. I'm talking about go bear and him missing time that Jess team. I don't I don't get were you think that they don't have talent. I know Joe English look English. It's like some guy who should be fighting outside of a bar in England. But this is a really really good basketball player. Rudy go bear is as good a defensive player is there is in the league. Ricky Rubio is one of the most underrated players and basketball and one of the premier playmakers along with an outstanding defender this team was talking about last jam metoo airing them position by position to the Sixers in that exact same comparison of the two guys that were the top two. It's very similar situation. Obviously the hawks are much worse team than any of the teams. Sure, I'm talking about. You're you're saying Ben Simmons slid into a situation where he had guys who were decently established in the NBA as contributors guy like J J Radic who'd been around forever. Joel Embiid who had been coming into. Zone in the sixty six games. He saw the year before I mean, Robert Covington who force argument's sake is the forty eighth best players. That is a. Did that? "But let's say I forgot to mention this. After your first point, how dare you disparage forty one year old Vince Carter, he still dunks premium? Don't you understand how important that is? No. But for real what trae young has done is very very very impressive for what is surrounding him. There's no doubt about it. But the play of guy like dodge has just been it's been more put together. And that's what I think you talked about the expectation you had and dodges sort of just already being that expectation. But that's the point. I mean, the expectation around the guy like Ben Simmons last year was he was supposed to come in and be that guy. And he was and what you got was essentially what you expect it no three point shot. But a guy that can get to the rim plays decent defense and he's going to distribute the ball. Well, it's what he showed. It LSU is what he showed in the summer league before breaking his foot that expectation didn't go away. Just because he was meeting it if anything that gave him that hit year pretty much without question. And then you mentioned the, you know, the guys around him being the difference. Well, you're looking at a guy in Donovan Mitchell who competed so. Much you're so strongly with Ben Simmons for that rookie of the year last year and who had the better team around them. Arguably the jazz were probably worse as far as the pieces around him now that may have turned out differently as the as the postseason went on. But they were arguably worse than the seventy Sixers team that sports guys who are making all NBA teams. It's it's hard to see how people are weighing that in this case, I think that the Don-Shik mega hype and how well he's performed puts him at the number one spot as of right now still you can discount eight, and I guess a little bit because you're right. They are force feeding him more with Booker not being in. But I think when you just break it down to the top two guys dodges still just a hair ahead of what trae Young's done. I don't necessarily understand the need to knock jazz team that had a lot of pieces in was a very very good team that just needed an alpha score. And it just so happened. "Onto is not a projected high pick so he might come back yes they go to mizzou so i mean he may not be interested tuition now his sister is scholarship basketball player so i think they always got oh so it's gonna be that's going to be interesting i'm surprised trae young declares early but i'm not surprised that he did his stock that's right yeah right to start bill simmons believes that this is his theory that trae young lebron close they think trae young was signed the clutch sports lebron like the agency that lebron is on and with the seven pig the cleveland cavalier celebrity trae young bathing opinion all it is possible because they say no lebron james camp but for trae young that that could be good and it has its pros and cons it won't be as much pressure on him to be the guy but then it's also going to be pressure coming you won't be pressure to carry the gym to carry a franchise but you are going to have to come and play to win a championship and the brian ain't the easiest got to play with but i think he's playing style being his shoe will mesh but go here mike i i was going to say they they need defense dan our not going to be notified they they need defense in the back end i think they need to ren protecting center ally i picture him next to another guard like devon booker that's that'll be nice head i i was telling people like people on live was asking me like what would be the best fit form i say orlando or fainting so he's not say landau even even though they don't develop talent they have no other like they have nobody else that's going to take the ball out of his hands he likes to have the ball in his hands era going and have a pick and roll type thing he would just have the freedom to go and learn on a goal and make mistakes because if you look at the best point guards in the game today when they were drafted early neck arrears they had the ball was putting their hands and they were able to make mistakes early like steph curry as soon as he came to stay.

"Probably not that wouldn't be smart but he's still going to be to me a top five pick nonetheless i'm more i'm also interested in trae young colin sex because that's like this this last year which was a gar heavy lonzo votes the oh hands yeah gar heavy this draft is the complete opposite nothing trae young sex and are the only two project in lottery gars so i'm interested to see which one will go first because a lot of people view colin stakes as a safer pick but then you also have to look at trae young because had potential potential everybody right right exactly wait wait before you finish that can we clear up the damn trae young what we talked about him having bust but since you and people came at us twitter yes i because i was defending the heaven it's going to be a bus nobody what we've been say he is a buck and you will see exact words because i remember were bus potential which is it is in every draft and everybody has a bust potential lebron everybody and yeah people was coming to him like man one of those can you tell mine i was i just remember being on twitter out bro people ridiculous people were essay good into your three year threads from you tweets and people be so funny people people reply with the most idiot things taken everything is that it said out of college his responses i look for i look for him responding to respond to the stupidest shit year.

"Half of it somebody had to read this thoroughly but a day assigned 'cause also teams that are involved in this are the phoenix suns the new ocoee bucks sacramento as i mentioned so yeah it's very weird we basically just got the on draft night who ends up at eight years i can tell you i was losing gender put together what you're saying and you just well he just got going with it and trae young as officially at yeah clear did you see what they said retro boy michael boorda what he played play playing hurt him not that he was solved in different who set where is this from it was like breach report simulates the nba scouts are saying about him okay oh okay is that i see right here one minute ago the ringer tweeted out a piece named how marksman is affected the draft stocks of these top three prospects so they got colin sexton trae young michael porter jr so i would have to read this article see what they think about but yeah i mean everything everything everybody's jeff stock has either improved or draw based off march man is this is a true and good mba scout would not is not going to base in tyre scouting report on three games no i don't think that's what they're what they're doing is saying that every game should affect you in some some say but michael party from there saying that it is hurt or help it affected the drafts of course every game you play but that's what i'm saying a good mba scout isn't going to look at the one game trait trae young played nancy tournament they're going to look at the entire resume season so same colin sexton and i'm not the thing that they say about mike reporter julian he shouldn't care he should care less about what they say i could care less about what they say because i'm not even taking that into too much of consideration i was just happy to see that his injury isn't anything that's going to deteriorate him as a basketball player is something that over time you should be able to get past him being soft or slow all of those things.

"Oh no no i'm not in part is i don't care about what the ice oh number say versus the three point numbers versus the catch shoot and it was i don't care some of this is an eye test i'm looking at him i remember steph curry sauce curry playing person i didn't see trae young person but no i look at him in i think maybe this kid's got a chance to be rotation player maybe he could work himself up and make himself two or three years in the nba you can improve and hopefully for him that's true steph curry no yeah so i'm informed in any discussion about steph curry of my position on steph curry when he was at davidson but thought it was a week right yes i thought he was too slight too frail to be a very good place let alone a star so i could not have been more wrong about steph curry who's a great player in an mvp and i look at trae young and i think you know what in the nba all the players who are regular players they're really good and teams are not gonna put trick defenses out there for trae young see i'm trae young is going to get better in the nba because he's got rains and he's quick and he's not going to be guarded by two and three people every time he gets on the bill right i don't know i agree with that look at steph curry now and i think we'll nobody can be that good but i think trae young will get better i hope it gets better tony you'll have full time to devote to this he'll be coached he'll be playing with better players and god knows this guy's that when they start practicing with the players that they do leonard was too wide leonard this.

"You know what it's my loyola gear that i can't even tell you some of that mustard on it we'll see if it just blends rights right loyal on it all right so trae young's father raeford remember he played in college as well he's a former division one college basketball player he was asked after the game about trae young future said this is something we did not expect it happened one thousand miles per hour i'm so proud of them we've got a decision in front of us right now trae young in the end ended up leaving the country in scoring and assists and i find it funny that i get it i get it he was built up big by our company like on every college basketball commercial it seemed like it was a trae young game and that they were showing pictures of trae young make it impossible shots and his numbers went down towards the end of the year in the oklahoma wins disappeared but like i've seen now like the exact opposite side happen where you think that the hype got too big for trae young now people are just saying that trae young's of flop trae young scored in his first nc double a tournament game twenty eight points today here twenty eight point seven assists and five rebounds and you you know me i've got i've got a lot of love for trae young so i again i don't know what kind of pro he's going to be you you've got some strong opinions on that but it's gonna be interesting to see if he does go pro where he's going to be drafted yeah i mean i would expect even conservatively that he'd be picks in the top probably thirteen picks i don't know if he's top ten listen i don't know what the scouts think of him remember we have a bet with see red fred over this what was tab ten sierra maybe a couple of weeks ago called in saying that trae young would not be a top ten pick and if he wasn't a top ten pick he gets to do a segment with us i think he will struggle a little bit because of his size he's not long and i think when he gets the nba may be a more difficult transition i still believe he'll go probably top thirteen because i mean he.
