"Four one Sean if you wanna be a part of the program and earlier the White House briefing on Iran took place, and yeah. Kevin McCarthy got speaker a name only Pelosi, and then of course, McConnell and Chucky Schumer, by the way Linda, did you notice that because I said, speaker name only, and Cossio Cortez's, the real speaker. You know how the liberal media is writing that Sean Hannity is a conspiracy theory that ecause Cortez's. The real speaker. These people really that stupid. Okay. That is called hyperbole making a point should we put the definition. If I personally on Hannity dot com for these well, maybe public service announcement for maybe for the fake news. It's like Sean Hannity is divided as the president last night about his conspiracy theory that dancing blows. He's not the real speaker and I'm like, okay, you people are even dumber than I thought. But putting that all side that you call it on listen. I they hate the ratings we get every night. I understand it, thanks to the best audience TV and radio. But it more importantly, they lied. They, they, they're the ones pushing conspiracy theories, they're the ones that have been pushing a hoax, and they have missed. The biggest abuse of power corruption scandal in the history of the country. A lot of stories that we are covering today. Not the least of which is the witch hunt, newness actually said, pervy Democrats were gr. Rolling ho picks about our love life. And then apparently some of the Democrats wanted pictures with hope picks so that they can post them online. What is wrong with these people? They sound like creepy uncle Joe. And so we're following that the situation obviously, in Iran following very, very closely. And the president is not going to telegraph ahead of time where he's going nor should he but will follow that very, very closely. Tom McClintock at a California gave a remarkable speech about Democrats, and they're desperate, scavenger hunt, as he was calling it, this is now we've had four investigations into so-called, Trump Russia, collusion all for them the nine month. FBI investigation. Let me quote, Peter Struck. There's no there there. Let's quote, Lisa page at the end of nine months. We had nothing than we had the house Intel investigation, nothing then the bipartisan Senate investigation, nothing. And then, of course, the Muller report that was that. It was it was going to be the end of the Trump presidency nothing. And of course, you have the selective moral outrage of the Democrats, because they really was Russian influence devenue nez had warned about it in an article in two thousand fourteen nobody paid attention to him in the Biden Obama administration has all happened on their watch and it came from oh, Hillary Clinton who funnel money through a law firm to an research firm to a foreign national and all we got back where Russian lies that he himself says he has no idea true or false at all. I don't know. I don't I don't know of any of its true. And when you read it sounds so dumb. You can't even make it up. But it became the basis to spy on the Trump campaign, and then the Trump transition team, and then the president of the United States and then got turned into a two year witch hunt and a hoax. But on the in the process, they Nord the Russian lies by the way, that were disseminated by high ranking intelligence people. To the American people vis-a-vis. The Washington Post David corn is a cough and others. There were leaking the contents of that dirty Russian dossier. And of course, Hillary should have been out of the race along time ago because they had rigged the investigation after she committed many felonies violating the espionage act, eighteen USC, seven, ninety three and then, of course, subpoenaed emails, deleted, and bleach bit and taken hammers to devices. And Poland sim cards have been paying attention to that, either. You know, if you had a bad loan application, like Michael, cone, or taxi medallions, like Michael, cone, or loan applications attacks issues like Paul Manafort, forget it, you're gonna get Rikers. You're gonna get jail time you're gonna get, you know, double jeopardy. You gotta be charged for the same crime twice even after it convicted on a federal level. It's just unbelievable. Then we're going to set up a thirty three year veteran by the name of Lieutenant General Flynn and brag about it. No, you don't need a lawyer. The deputy director. General Flynn on day four the Trump administration, not at all, but the sending an FBI agents and Komi say, oh, yeah, I was taking full advantage of the chaos. I'd never would never think to do this in the Bush years, or the Obama years. So you're admitting is set up after you told a thirty three year American hero that served as country and combat that not to have a lawyer. But, you know, you're setting him up. And, you know, you're already knew the contents because you had illegally surveilled unmasked raw intelligence on, on general Flynn that in and of itself, a crime. That's not the country. We know joining us now is California. Congressman from the fourth district House Judiciary committee is on the House Judiciary committee and spoke on the house floor about Democrats and this effort to pursue Muller. Thomas Clinton is, whether are you, sir. I'm doing fine, Sean. You know, I find this fascinating now the president calls it, they want to redo and hope picks, I think rightfully didn't answer their questions again. And I don't think anybody should answer their questions again because, you know, when the president fully cooperated encouraged everybody to go to every congressional committee. Tell them anything that they know he even gave his own White House counsel, thirty hours before Muller, everybody in the White House that Muller wanted to talk to talk to one point four million documents all these people subpoenaed. All these lawyers hired, and now they wanna basically, draw everybody back in, because four investigations aren't enough. Now we need a fifth investigation, I think that's abuse of power. And I think that's. Executive branch harassment at this point. This is not oversight getting silly. No, they've asked these questions over and over and over again. The problem is they just don't like the answers. They keep getting back. So they're desperately leaning anything they can out of the mural report to try to revive their collusion narrative, and it's just not working for them. And you pointed out, John dean show was an embarrassment. It clearly backfired on them. Oh, the whole picks hearing yesterday behind closed. Doors, mainly having her read portions of Mueller report. And then explained if she can't comment on discussions that Volvo executive privilege was, by the way, is a doctrine that goes back to the Washington administration and then today's hearing consisted of inviting of assorted leftists and never Trumpers, to, to agree with the Democrats that Trump's just an awful person. They can't believe God elected, you know, and then you look at the record and the president, I thought laid it out very articulately in Orlando, the other night and last night on my TV show Hannity, you know, we've had all of this economic success. We saw the incident that happened with the Iranians today. Take it out a drone of ours in international waters that follows up on the straight, so hor moose, where two tankers were taken out by the revolutionary guard of Iran. And now the esscalation in the saber rattling going on, but I love the president when he says, well, just watch will. See. And because I don't think I think too often we telegraph what we're gonna do. I don't think we should ever. Telegraph what we're gonna do the president clearly has the authority once an attack has been launched on, on the United States, armed forces and this clearly qualifies ache and order of commitment of military force to repel, the attack order a hot pursuit of the attackers, or even launch a retaliatory response. I mean obviously anything beyond that requires an act of congress, but I don't wanna see a war against Iran. If we can avoid it the president doesn't either and the fact is the president sanctions are working. There is a huge freedom inside Iran, that gives a big rally here in Washington by them tomorrow, several times over the past decade, the regime was on the verge of collapse, only to be rescued by the Obama administration. But with Trump the days of sending hundreds of millions of dollars you know shrink wrapped on cargo palace to the Mola's are over the sanctions. He's reimposed are working the regime. Is teetering on another revolution. We just have to keep up the pressure. Well, I think you're right. The financial there in financial, you know, difficulties the their, their lifeblood of their economy, like, you know, the hostile regime in Russia under a hostile act, or Putin is all energy and the fact that America, now this is a game changer that we're energy independent now for the first time in seventy five years, it's a game changer that we are a net exporter of energy and I'd like to see us take it to the next level because of the vast -ness of the resources that we've always had. But because of burdensome regulation by the left. We'd not been able to tap into until the Trump administration. Unleashed American energy, potential, as you point out for the first time in our lifetimes, our nation's energy independent. You remember what it was like, in the nineteen seventies of, when we were completely at the mercy of, of Saudi Arabian, the oil, exporting countries. There were mile long lines at gas stations. we every time opec met we were all on the knife's edge wondering what's going to happen to our konami next all those days are gone now with american energy independence and that is thanks tire to fragging technology and the trump administration's pro growth policies well the problem is if the likes of all of these democratic wannabe presidents and i call her speaker of the house alexandria cossio cortez and pelosi speaker name only by the way it's not a conspiracy theory it is a little bit of a joke with some truth in it and that is that a cossio cortes is very powerful because even got you know sleepy creepy crazy uncle joe to have to adopt this new green deal insanity of his own which would get rid of oil and gas and the combustion engine and eventually planes and cows and everything in life is free and government provided and medicare for all but you can't have your own private insurance good luck with that and freer Tire -ment guaranteed for job guaranteed. Whether you're willing or unwilling to work, it's a pretty good deal on paper. But in reality, nobody could ever pay for that. Well, clearly, okay, Cortez, and the extreme left or now the center of gravity in the democratic conference that matter in the Democratic Party, they are pulling them farther and farther to the left. And Meanwhile, I think they're suffering from from what the air force calls target fixation, that's, that's when a pilot focuses so much on the target that he ends up fighting plane into a mountain. And I think that's where the Democrats may be heading in as we approach twenty twenty. I mean, a lot of the candidates who are in Trump districts ran, as self described problem solvers, and instead, people are saying they're not problem solvers at all. They're, they're enabling the troublemakers. And I think that is those Democrats in those marginal districts that are about to be held accountable by people. They're just getting a belly full of all of this Trump derangement syndrome. All right, quick break. We'll come back more with California. Congressman Tom McClintock..

And I'm like, okay, you people are even dumber than I thought. But putting that all side that you call it on listen. I they hate the ratings we get every night. I understand it, thanks to the best audience TV and radio. But more importantly, they lied. They, they, they're the ones pushing conspiracy theories, they're the ones that have been pushing a hoax, and they have missed. The biggest abuse of power corruption scandal in the history of the country. Now, a lot of stories that we are covering today, not the least of which is the witch hunt, newness actually said, pervy Democrats were grilling ho picks about our love life. And then. Apparently some of the Democrats wanted pictures with hope picks so that they can post them online. What is wrong with these people? They sound like creepy uncle Joe. And so following that the situation obviously, in Iran, we're following very, very closely. And the president is not going to telegraph ahead of time where he's going nor should he but will follow that very, very closely. Tom McClintock at a California gave a remarkable speech about Democrats, and they're desperate, scavenger hunt. Is he was calling it, this is now we've had four investigations into so call Trump. Russia collusion, all four them the nine month. FBI investigation. Let me quote, Peter Struck. There's no there there. Let's quote, Lisa page at the end of nine months. We had nothing then we had the house Intel investigation, nothing then the bipartisan Senate investigation, nothing. And then, of course, the Muller report, that was that was it, it was going to be the end of the Trump presidency ne. Nothing. And of course, you have the selective moral outrage of the Democrats, because they really was Russian influence devenue nez. It warned about it in an article in two thousand fourteen nobody paid attention to him in the Biden Obama administration has all happened on their watch and it came from oh, Hillary Clinton who funnel money through a law firm to an research firm to a foreign national and all we got back where Russian lies that he himself says he has no idea true or false at all. I don't know. I don't I don't know of any of its true. And when you read it sounds so dumb. You can't even make it up. But it became the basis to spy on the Trump campaign, and then the Trump transition team, and then the president of the United States and then got turned into a two year witch hunt and a hoax. But on the in the process, they Nord the Russian lies, by the way, that were disseminated by high ranking intelligence people to the American people vis-a-vis, the Washington Post. David corn is a coffin, others. There were leaking the contents of that dirty Russian dossier. And of course, Hillary should have been out of the race along time ago because they had rigged the investigation have to she committed many felonies violating the espionage act, eighteen USC, seven, ninety three and then, of course, subpoenaed emails, deleted and bleach bit and taken hammers to devices in Poland. Sim cards, they haven't been paying attention to that, either, you know, if you had a bad loan application, like Michael, cone, or taxi medallions, like Michael cone, or loan applications or tax issues like Paul Manafort, but forget it you're gonna get Rikers. You're gonna get jail time you're gonna get, you know, double jeopardy you're going to be charged for the same crime twice even convicted on a federal level. It's just unbelievable. Then we're going to set up a thirty-three year veteran by the name of Lieutenant General Flynn brag about it. No, you don't need a lawyer. The deputy FBI director, general Flynn on day, four the Trump administration. No, not at all. But the sending an FBI agents and Komi say, oh, yeah, I was taking full advantage of the chaos. I never would never think to do this in the Bush years, or the Obama years. So you're admitting that is set up after you told a thirty three year American hero that served as country in combat that not to have a lawyer, but, you know, you're setting him up. Thomas Clinton is with us. How are you, sir? I'm doing fine, Sean. You know, I find this fascinating now the president calls it they want. Redo and hope picks, I think rightfully didn't answer their questions again. And I think that's executive branch harassment at this point is not oversight getting silly. They've asked these questions over and over and over again. The problem is they just don't like the answers. They keep getting back. So they're desperately gleaning anything they can out of the mural report to try to revive. there collusion narrative and and it's just not working for them and you pointed out john dean show was an embarrassment at clearly backfired on them oh the whole picks hearing yesterday behind closed doors was mainly having her read portions of mueller report and then explained if she can't comment on discussions that volve executive privilege was by the way is a doctrine that goes back to the washington administration and then today's hearing consisted of inviting sorted leftists and never trumpers to to agree with the democrats that trump's just an awful person they can't believe god elected you know and then you look at the record and the president i thought laid it out very articulate in orlando the other night and last night on my tv show hannity you know we've had all of this economic success we saw the incident that happened with the iranians today take it out a drone of ours in international waters that follows up on the streets so hor moose where two tankers were taken out by the revolutionary guard of iran And now the esscalation in the sabre-rattling is going on. But I love the president when he says, well, just watch we'll see. And because I don't think I think too often we telegraph what we're gonna do. I don't think we should ever telegraph. Or we're gonna do the, the president clearly has the authority once an attack has been launched on, on the United States, armed forces, miss clearly qualifies, ache and order of a commitment of military force to repel, the attack order a hot pursuit of the attackers, or even launch a retaliatory response. I mean obviously anything beyond that requires an act of congress. But I, I don't wanna see a war against Iran, if we're gonna void it. No, the president doesn't either. And the fact is the president sanctions are working. There is a huge freedom inside Iran back, a big rally here in Washington by them tomorrow, several times over the past decade, the regime was on the verge of collapse, only to be rescued by the Obama administration. But with Trump the days of sending hundreds. Millions of dollars shrink wrapped on cargo palace to the Mola's are over the sanctions. He is reimposed are working the regime is teetering on another revolution. We just have to keep up the pressure. Well, I think you're right. The financial there in financial difficulties the their, their life, lifeblood of their economy, like, you know, the hostile regime in Russia under a hostile actor Putin is all energy and the fact that America, now this is a game changer that we're energy independent now for the first time in seventy five years, it's a game changer that we are a net exporter of energy and I'd like to see us take it to the next level because of the vast -ness of the resources that we've always had. But because of burdensome regulation by the left. We'd not been able to tap into until the Trump administration. Unleashed American energy, potential, as you point out for the first time in our lifetimes, our nations energy independent. You remember what it was like in the nineteen seventy. of when we were completely at the mercy of of saudi arabia and the oil exporting countries there mile long lines at gas stations we every time opec met we were all on the knife edge wondering what's going to happen to our economy next all those days are gone now with american energy independence and that is thanks entirely too fracking technology and the trump administration's pro growth policies well the problem is if the likes of all of these democratic wannabe presidents and i call her speaker of the house alexandria cossio cortez and pelosi speaker name only by the way it's not a conspiracy theory it is a little bit of a joke with some truth in it and that is that a causal cortes is very powerful because even got you know sleepy creepy crazy uncle joe to have to adopt this new green deal insanity of his own which would get rid of oil and gas and the combustion engine and eventually planes and Cows, and everything in life is free in government provided and Medicare for all. But you can't have your own private insurance. Good luck with that, and free retirement guaranteed for job guaranteed. Whether you're willing or unwilling to work, it's a pretty good deal on paper. But in reality, nobody could ever pay for that clearly, okay, Cortez, and the extreme laughter. Now, the center of gravity in the democratic conference that matter in the Democratic Party, they are pulling them farther and farther to the left. And Meanwhile, I think they're suffering from from what the air force calls target fixation. That's, that's a pilot focuses so much on the target that he ends up fine as plane into a mountain. And I think that's where the Democrats may be heading in as we approach twenty twenty I mean, a lot of the candidates who are in Trump districts ran, as self described problem solvers, and instead, people are seeing they're not problem solvers at all. They're, they're enabling the troublemakers. And I think that is those Democrats in those marginal districts that are about to be held account. -able by people. They're just getting a belly full of all of this Trump derangement syndrome. All right. Quick break. We'll come back more with California Congressman Tom.

"Josh beer. Atom Wexler Wexler. Joe George we're rounding out the first hour of our show. We've got you till nine o'clock. We're talking about NFL free agency and people were supposed to what the franchise tag on players today. And if you didn't do it sorry, your SOL, you're out of luck. I almost said the other word, but I didn't wanna freak you out. Joy almost started to say just a freak you out. But I'm a radio professional during radio things. Six players got the franchise tag. Most of those were made official yesterday. The league put out the official notice today. The falcons did it with Grady Jarrett. The Cowboys did it with DeMarcus Lawrence the chiefs did it with Dee Ford. The Seahawks do with Frank Clark the forty Niners did it with kicking sensation. Robbie gold and the Texans did it with Davian cloudy their positions listed with those players detangle for Jared D end for Lawrence and Clarke linebacker for cloudy and Ford, it does appear that the designation which is handed out by the league will fall on cloudy as a linebacker which will be a little bit less than it would be if he were designated as a defensive end defensive end at seventeen point one two eight million linebacker in his case because of last year salary would put him right under sixteen million. So little bit around a million dollars. In change of difference. If that's the number he ends up playing under next year. Meaning he did not agree to a long term deal and would play under a one year deal at that figure with the Texans holding the option, of course, it's a franchise tag him for a second season. Which is the position the Cowboys and DeMarcus Lawrence are in currently, which has Lawrence very very upset and people wondering if he will be a Latvian bell who was also tagged for second time last year. And sat out the entire season. And is now trying to get guaranteed money. And that's what brought up in the first thing and said, I would get to it later. Navien cloudy to sit out a year doesn't seem likely DeMarcus Lawrence to sit out a year. Now, that's a little bit more likable. And now we've seen Leon bell sit out a year. The immediate thought is he's never gonna make that money back. That part is true. He's not going to play another year on the other side of his career where he's gonna make. Let's just put a fifteen million dollars a year number on it that money's gone that money's not going to be made. But if he played last year under the franchise tag made again ball just giving you a number fifteen million for that one season and got hurt and it prevented him from signing that long-term deal this off season. And instead he had to work under a one year deal or a two year deal with limited guaranteed money. That's how he and his agent are looking at things, and it all depends on what the final numbers for the contract. He gets this year. If he finds a team willing to give him four years ninety million eighty million with fifty five. Million guaranteed. That's the rationalization for sitting out a year. He will have made fifty five million dollars guaranteed following the final snap. He took in two thousand seventeen which is why he sat the year out in in regards to the Texans position with Judean clowney. I just want to quote, my favourite Canadian TV show Letterkenny and just say figure it out just figure it out figure out what just sign like, honestly, my feelings on cloudy. I've let them be known the whole time for for the people that listen to me on nights and on weekends the whole time as Judean clowney is an incredibly disruptive player and I'd be perfectly fine overpaying him on the spec. That he hasn't reached the height that he's going to reach or that he could reach so figure it out. And do you wanna hear my plan for the Texans in free agency? Guys. I need any motivation. I need I need. I need to know that you two are behind me a thousand percent, do you wanna hear? I got Joe Adam do you want to hear it? I thought Joe absolve me of needing to show mantha Zaza. I'm sitting in the Derek fogelson. I thought I could play it low key. You just need. I need I need here. A verbal is give us the goods man that was too much. There was too much now. Now, there's too much energy. I think the Texans need to spend sixteen million dollars a year on Roger Sappho, they need to spend six dollars a year on Trent Brown, and they need to go throw Ronald Darby the largest contract that they possibly think they could give him coming off of an ACL injury. Look, what's the worst? That can happen. Like, they're all bad. Oh, yeah. I mean, that's I'm not I'm not saying I mean, financially, what's the worst? That can happen. I know football wise, Ronald Darby doesn't come back from his ACL injury. Great. And then Roger staff old, and and Trent Brown or garbage, obviously that can happen, but financially you have seventy two million dollars a cap space to work with and really there's only four there's only four people that I would real four position specifically that I would want them to sign do offense lineman one cornerback and then a wide receiver to help. Found out that wide receiver core is by the way. Michael Crabtree was officially released from from Baltimore, which that's an option. The guy made four point six million dollars. You're talking about signing a number four wide receiver. Can't you get a different Baltimore guy? John brown. I don't want. Join brown. I have any of these Baltimore guys. I'll take Eric Weddell. I'll think see jealously I think CJ Muslims actually, really interesting for the tax. They're still working out a deal with him though. I know you didn't franchise them like this is like when Carlos boozer when the Cavs were like, we're going to let you go. And then he left and went to Utah. That's what the Baltimore Ravens have done with CJ Moseley. They didn't franchise him. He can leave. He can't walk our way through your list. I number three my top three what they should just go and throw all the money at Derek when Derek and I are on together. Dare can I talk about how one day we just wanna be rich? So we have the ability to throw money at all of our problems. Look if I've broken toilet in my house. Do I want to replace it? Like I had to last weekend ABSA. A freaking Lutely not I got into this business. So I could pay some other guy to replace my toilet for me. I didn't get into the toilet replacing business. What does that call being a plumber? I didn't get into the plumbing business for a reason I wanted to do this. But I I want to throw money at my problems. If I'm Brian gang doth Romani at the offensive line for so now, I know it's not but come look and people say, well, you're not trying to go out and win free agency. You're like the the teams that tried to go out and win free agency never win anything. But those are the teams that are they're trying to win free agency at skill positions. Will you went through the three players from somebody else's team? They should go and bring in what are your thoughts on their own guys that are were in the secondary. We talked about cloudy out about Matthew and Jackson if I this. This has been known for for a couple of months for me. But if if they do decide if they're trying to decide between Tyron, Matthew and Kareem Jackson, it's for me. It's Kareem Jackson. I don't even blink. I don't even second guess myself. It is Kareem Jackson Jackson was better from the safety spot whenever he actually got the legitimately play from the safety spot. I think he's every bit of the leader that Tehran Matthew is. I mean, you the people that hear these things about Toronto Matthews a great leader and only been here for a couple of weeks before people made him a captain. Yeah. That's great Kareem Jackson's been here for a really long time. And the guy's love him in the locker room as much as they love as as they love to Ron like he was just as much of a part of the growth of Justin rita's Taranath. You was it wasn't just like Matthew was the one that was telling Justin read what he needs to do cream Jackson. Jonathan Joseph were both there helping him along. And so I think he's every bit as the leader every bit the important veteran to to that secondary into that defense that tyrod Matthew as he's the better player. He was the better player on the field. So I bring him back if I'm bringing back my lower Hewitt, t leave reading or reading between the lines Twitter sphere. Very good ends. He's not coming back. Okay. So if Tyron Matthew. Hypothetically at five fifty three P M this evening tweeted in all caps. I will make them respect me. What is he trying to say see you get out of here? Go go away by. So he's saying he has not seen what he wants to see heard from what he wants to hear from the Houston, Texas. Yeah. That's what you read. And that's that's total one hundred percent. That's John one hundred percent speculation. But I I feel like I have a pretty good beat off on on whenever people say certain things whenever people even just in Twitter form, and like word form, I feel like I can read between the lines and read the tea leaves like you said pretty well. Most of the time it might have been part of my job in another life in another career that I had was you were in ghost was the ability to read between the lines. Yeah. But I like if that's his position. I mean, you just had a guy in Landon Collins, not get franchised by the giants. And he's an option. Now, Landon Collins is an option. Eric Weddell is an option. Tyronn Matthew is an option that particular market. Earl Thomas Clinton Dix jokin weigh in on Adrian Amos very bears. Lamarcus Joyner of the Rams trae Boston Kenny Vaccaro, and I think I read most of that list in order of interest. There are act I mentioned last segment the cornerback market as usual stinks. You have a good corner. You keep a good corner. This safety market is a one eighty from that if there's a particular player you like a particular style of safe you'd like to add he's probably on the market this off season. And they've had a reason I mean Clinton Dix. I think is a good player. He's also played for two teams the last two seasons. Lamarcus Joyner was France. Tag. Clearly a good player. He's not coming off of his best season that was two years ago. Amos a good player Andy's twenty-six, but he's also available. There's reasons behind all of these things. And I think I'm not sure if that's the giants reasoning for it with Landon Collins so young in his career was available and not franchise tag. Because I don't think there's too many people of all these players we've listed. He's gotta have the fewest detractors because he's just he's been in the league for four years, and he's played four years of very good football. It's very hard to figure that one. Although in each of the other cases Matthews case in the in the case specifically, Eric Weddell their reasons why they're out there. It doesn't mean they can't play doesn't mean. They might make your team better. The Texans now though have to address the safety position. It matthews. Not coming back. They need a player that can fill his position. And while you say bring Kareem Jackson back, and I'm fine with that. Also, I don't think Corinne. Fills Matthews position that might end up being Justin reads position. But the position that was played by Matthew last year is not going to be played by Jackson this year. It's most likely going to be played by one of those names. I mentioned or somebody else we haven't heard of it. And that's that's the thing. If you bring back Kareem Jackson, you move Justin read over into that spot. And I have full confidence that Justin Reed would be able to take that on and play if at the very worst at as well as Matthew did in that spot. And I know I was going to push this off until the next segment, but I'm going to do this now since we're already on the discussion. My honestly, my main sentiment is not Ron, no Kareem. No problem. Like, I really think that the Texans after today the Texans need to take a legitimate. Look at Landon Collins like he wasn't. He wasn't as good this year as he had been the year before and to especially in two thousand and sixteen. He was incredible. He's twenty five years old like the most you have to pay him is is what the top safeties make about twelve million a year eleven million years something like that. And you may not even have to pay him that and that's the we're talking about like Cam chancellor, Eric berry type of money. Maybe you have to pay him that. Because like we said before you have to overpay for players and free agency, you're going to be competing services to, but but worst case scenario instead of going out and getting a guy like Bryce Callahan or Ronald Ronald Darby, a guy like that. Go throw that money a twenty five year old Landon Collins, and then you have a safety tandem of the future just in read and Landon Collins, and then that makes it so much easier to go and draft Cornerbacks that have to.

"It's called six twenty nine thousand nine free agents that should be on the Cowboys radar. And you kinda went off you went off the beaten path of certain other folks that have been talking about. The bigger names. The Earl Thomas and stuff, which we will talk about. I'm sure several times. But. You kinda went in. And you looked at a bunch of different names that could possibly be somewhere around where the Cowboys typically shop. Yeah. Admittedly, part of this was trying to think the way the Cowboys do and take the approach they take which is they just do not want to get into a bidding war for a tier one. Or I way free agent. They may go in count of a tear tube with a car. Sometimes like let the first couple of ways wash over before they start really getting serious about signing people as I was trying to look for some people that would fit that that would still give them some value. Saw you know, some of the ones I came up with were kind of a little more obscure. But there were a couple that struck me as you know, bizmart really fit because of the particular circumstances. Yeah. In the first thing I wanted to do is talk about the safety position because I really have been on record. And so of you that the Cowboys really should look at finding some type of you know, a safety. Really need some play making on the back end of their defense. And I think that you know, last year Jeff heath, for example, Jeff missed fourteen tackles believe, and that was the most of any safety. Now, the Cowboys do play some interchangeable safety role. So it can be a little difficult sometimes to understand where people are playing at what time so you mentioned, you know, everyone talks about Earl Thomas, obviously, and Earl Thomas his market value is going to be upwards of ten million per year. It's just kind of how the market value works for players of his caliber, but the safety market could end up being a little bit different. Like it was last year, Tom where we get a lot of safety's not get a lot of money. I don't know if that was more or less Earl Thomas hold out or or what have you? But what do you think about the safety market this year with so many guys on it? Yeah. Well, the main thing is that it's crowded there's a lot of name safe. 'these and what I say name. I mean people that we believed to be challenged. I'm not going to claim to be a great talent evaluator. But you look at names like Landon Collins Earl Thomas Clinton Dix lamarcus Joyner. There's some good names out there. And you have to wonder is that going to depress the market, and in the fact that safety is not exactly one of the high dollar positions on an NFL team. You know, they're somewhere behind quarterback left tackle now. Right. Tackle is starting to climb up their drugs or Horner back corner. Baggies. Batting pay more to corners than they do safeties. Yeah. So you're looking at a position that Esam around six or seven as far as value to the team. So maybe this going to push somebody down. That's why I was looking at some by like trae Boston who is. One of those guys that's kind of been that second five safety's not one of the top five free agents. But he's kind of seen as somewhere around. I best safety on the market. He has a reputation for not greatest tack or but excellent coverage. Yeah. And that they need. Yeah. That would be the comp complimentary guy to exit your woods who likes to live up to his name and Lael little would on yet. Exhibitor woods is a far better tackler than I think people realize and Xavier woods compla-, both strong, safety and free safety. Like the Cowboys are looking for which is that interchangeable role. But I do believe that the Cowboys need somebody on the deep end that is better in coverage that isn't going to miss, you know, these these game saving tackles big plays that happened down the field with these quarterbacks in the league these days, you know, the Cowboys and you say trae Boston, you know, the Cowboys had mentioned last year that they weren't interested..

"To rally around on those winner Friday nights and Saturday night's suddenly had four thousand people kinda going downtown. A lot of them maybe grab a drink afterwards forward. Tom clayton. Does how to get under his opponent? One of the big stars. Number eighteen Thomas cleaton looking to take his game to the next level at one of their top guys off the for two minutes. Five minutes sale. It's it's the job done. Tom was jiffy aggressive. His job was to go out there and instigate trouble. He would slash other players. He would just try to get them agitated to the point where they would draw penalty. He was an instigator on the ice behind the play looking at start fights. He is wrapping up with a rival player. Platon coming back at him. You want to fight some of this lake when you're kidding. You get so mad. You just wanna fight, you know, animated and intimidating Clayton helps to keep things in perspective. The hockey sensation would soon meet his match in Kelly stage. Kelly was definitely outgoing spontaneous. She cared about. Everybody fashionable crazy at times loyals acid. Definitely sassy didn't put up with anything local girl, she spotted Tom from the stances sister Kim bourgeois at a game is when she first saw Thomas Clinton. She thought he was cute and she went out that night to a bar after the game with her best friend, Andy he was sitting at the bar, and I asked him do you have a girlfriend, and he said were you asking for? "I don't believe they necessarily play to their talent. And I believe they have a serious. Question or conversation that they must have internally about whether Dak Prescott is going to be the guy that can build around. I know the owner has said that this isn't about Dak Prescott. He's not uneven. He is franchise quarterback. But if he's going to be about Dak Prescott then either Jason geared, and it's got Lenihan need to figure out a way to build this office around him while still making it all about Ezekiel Elliott, or they gotta figure out a way just to get deck Prescott to play better with the pieces. Eighty has around him. I know to office line has been shaky. I know he's still getting used to the no more receiver. But ultimately this is a quarterback driven league in. If your quarterback isn't playing will it is hard to consistently win games in the National Football League. I just wonder when I like cow games. Cowboys in primetime every week. Even though you say, the don't get enough attention. Okay. I'm I'm I think I'm gonna I'm gonna Mendes statement a little bit. Maybe maybe they get too much attention. How about that? Does that make? Does that make you better go, maybe is maybe there's too much attention. But I will say I think Jon Gruden watches with with a tub of popcorn when the cash right now. See where that picks look like I mean, he could watch what we need to be careful on his own because the Oakland Raiders aren't playing as well. Let's let's get to these notable player debuts here with new teams on the trades. Just rip through here to marry Thomas Clinton Dix Dante Fowler. And snacks Harrison just kind of what we've seen so far from these teams. And what you think these moves going forward? I like to move it to maritime is going to the Houston. Texans. What he's able to do is look he's not the burn. It will fuller was with them. But he certainly can't control the middle feel three receptions, sixty one yards pretty solid debut effort, and when you put him opposite. De'andre Hawkins look the tin catch that over hundred yards. He is the number one. But now you have a real big body number two that Shawn Watson can target and even though they'll lose some of the explosive popped. It ahead will full. They get another good player that it can put in the middle of the feel work in beside the numbers that is where Shawn Watson his comfort zone. I think this offense will actually be better and more playoff ready with a big body like marries Thomas on the field. Yeah. He was motioning, man. He was very emotional. After that game. You could tell them in a lot of hey, man. It was personal is personal team. Let them go. They let them ride. Just so hot Clinton, dick seven tackles. It did not help slow down the falcons though. No it did not help slow down the falcons falcons..
