"The whole paper. Mayfield looked good until that last throw the interception Late in the game. Cleveland had an awesome formula to attack the Kansas City Chiefs, Chemists basket called a tremendous game. All right, Amber. So here we are. Kansas City 33. Cleveland 29 1 of the thrillers of NFL Sunday Week one Baker Mayfield Completes 21 of 28 Passes for 321 Yards, zero Touchdowns One interception. Patrick Mahomes, His usual. Brilliant sell 337 yards, three touchdowns. No, I anti s What's the takeaway here Because for many, it's Hey. Cleveland has shown that they belong Cleveland for the second game in a row, has gone to Kansas City and hung tough with one of the best, if not the absolute best in the business on the other side. The Browns did have an opportunity to win that game late and came up short. Where do you stand in the less than 24 hours? It's been since we saw this laws. I've been surprised at the mixed reaction because it has felt like to me that a lot of the media analysis I've read and seen. Is that the Browns? They they still don't have it. You have to win. You can't cough up believe like that. You've got to finish it out and close it out in the fourth quarter. Another disappointing Cleveland Browns performance, and they're down now on Baker Mayfield maybe can't get them over the hump. Maybe he's not that kind of quarterback. And yet I felt like from what I've seen anyways on social media, the fan reaction from the Browns fan they feel pretty good about it. And I guess my analysis coming off this game is The iconic should when you stick it to the defending NFC champs for three straight quarters, and I understand they've got to find a way to eventually get that went in to finish it out. But let's not lose focus here, Joe like they were playing the Kansas City Chiefs and they were playing Patrick Mahomes and a lot of that yardage and a lot of those crazy plays in the comeback there that Mahomes was able to create. Was Mahomes doing the homes? Things? And nobody can defend that. Not just the Cleveland Browns. So I really coming off of this game. Don't feel terrible for the Browns fan With this loss, they should be able to finish it out. But at the same time they did hang with them. And they did show that they are part of that conversation for good reason. This season. Rex Ryan, former Jets head coach, now ESPN NFL analyst. He was on the organized chaos podcast with Bart Scott. He had this to say about Cleveland fans. If your coach or player in that locker room? Hell, yeah. You're pissed. That was a game You were dominating. And you kind of you never finished the deal and so to me. Yes. You absolutely are upset about it. In that locker room. But as a fan, all fans of Cleveland Browns are going to be like hell. Yeah, we're we got us a team, and I believe they do. Difference of good versus great. That's what this game comes down to. That's what this result comes down to. It's the difference of good versus great. Cleveland has been so bad for so long. This sort of result is palatable because it was competitive on the road with the absolute best in the business. But this is the difference between good and great. And Cleveland right now is good. You can say they're very good, but they're not great. That's the opportunity yesterday to be great. If you're trailing in most of this game, you're trying to hang with this team. The Bears did this with the Rams for a little bit last night, hanging around hanging around hanging around as teddy KGB would say, with the alligator blood, keeping it tight, trying to make the one big play late to get over the top. That's one thing. When you're leading after the first quarter, when you're leading at the half when you are sticking it to Kansas City from pillar to post from the beginning of the game until late in the fourth, you got too close. If you're going to be considered great Baker Mayfield once the great contract, Baker Mayfield wants to be the franchise quarterback Baker Mayfield wants to take the next step and be recognized for being one of the better quarterbacks in the business. These are the moments where that needs to happen. He had the ball with two minutes and 49 seconds remaining. He had a time out. It's not like he had to go 99 yards. It's not like he needed to put up a touchdown or at least a touchdown in the two point conversion and then an on site, you can get the ball back. The opportunity was there against the defense that had given up 457 yards on the afternoon. If you want to be great if you want to be considered At the top echelon of some of these teams. That's where you need to close because to open the season with Brady and the Bucks, we saw what greatness looks like You get the ball back with a minute to go. You go down the field. You win the game yesterday. It was another opportunity for Cleveland show that they've arrived and they came up short in the big spot. But how many teams and how many quarterbacks in the league can be great. I mean, there's only a few of them. I feel like we make too big of a deal about the great versus the very good and the Cleveland Browns yesterday looked very good. And Baker looked very good for most of the game. Yes, he wasn't great elite. Patrick Mahomes. There's what 12 Maybe three guys in the league. I'm Aaron Rodgers didn't look like yesterday, either. How many guys look like that? Particularly week one of the NFL season. There's very few people in that conversation. That's not necessarily a knock on the very good quarterback, either. I think the Cleveland Browns fan would be thrilled to have a very good quarterback after everything that that franchise has gone through. And frankly, I think that they have it. Baker Mayfield and Patrick Mahomes before that, last couple minutes that you mentioned they exchanged blows. Baker Mayfield exchanged blows with Patrick Mahomes. I mean, I think it's okay if your Browns fan to feel pretty good about that, considering Mahomes was able to lean on Travis, Kelsey and Tyreek Hill. And, yes, the Browns. They had eight months to come up with an answer for those guys and they tried. They drafted a cornerback and brought in a linebacker, and they you know they use their first couple pics of this last draft on defense. They signed a cornerback as well. They signed to safety. They did what they could to try to beef up. That secondary in the off season, and it wasn't enough to shut down Travis, Kelsey and Tyree Kill except for you know, it's Travis, Kelsey and Tyreek Hill, like nobody has figured out how to shut down those guys. So I'm still in on the Cleveland Browns. And, yes, they're not as good as the Kansas City Chiefs. But Ahora below them in week one. I think that's okay..

"Get projects smarter, faster and easier. Welcome to today's Home Depot. How doers Get mortgage done. Some of these scores air interesting. Florida, Texas and him tied at 31 in the fourth quarter. North Carolina had a huge lead on Virginia Tech and now it's down to 5 40 to 37, Missouri. Hanging with l s u 41 38. In Oklahoma beating Texas by 14 31 17 in the Red River Shootout, Joe the still the biggest story, I think today is the end of a game last night and I we've talked a lot about what it meant. For LeBron not to take the shot and all that, but I just have a more fundamental question. You think he can win this series? I mean, it's probably unlikely we see Goran Dragic. Uh, when you look at Jimmy Butler's had amazing performances, but if we're being honest, Doug Robinson had a really good last game. Heroes had one good game. But some of these other guys haven't been consistently great yet. They're still in it. You could read that one of two ways like they're probably not gonna have another amazing butler game. Or you could say if all these dudes they still haven't played a great game yet, and they're still in it. Where do you come out on it? They can absolutely win this. Siri's now are the odds in their favor. No, obviously because they're down three games to two, but they can absolutely win this Siri's. They've already pushed the Lakers harder than anyone had pushed them prior to this. Detroit got one, Denver got one and Houston got one, and that was it. There were a lot of blowouts in that Siri's, but the reality of the situation is this heat team does not go away. They don't know how to quit. They don't know how to give up. They don't know how to roll over. Alligator blood is tape. Teddy KGB would say alligator blood. They keep hanging around hanging around and you give him these opportunities. They're going to seize upon them, and that's what they did last night. That's what they did down two games to none when everyone was just overlooking them. And then boom. They fired back. And Jimmy Butler had that 40 point triple double, which led to another win. Now again, is it likely? Myron? No, but they've given this team a fight. They're very well coached. They've got superstar talent. They can hang with the Lakers. What the Lakers are realizing is that when you run too deep, and the rest of the team can't be counted on a regular basis, you're going to run into trouble against well coached teams that have some balance. Matt. What do you think it is? Because I'm guilty of this, too. And not believing in a team that beat the number one seed Milwaukee Bucks. Wait, the Boston Celtics and now here they are three to against the Lakers. Like what would it take for us to believe that the Miami Heat have an actual chance? I I'm with you. I don't know why. I mean, sometimes I look in the mirror and try to just address myself and I say self. What is it about you that is not doing extra wide. One of things, I say itself. Why don't you believe in the Miami heat? Because I was convinced against Milwaukee that Milwaukee was going to come back. I mean, lookit Johannes is so good that Miami is going to get cold. When it comes to Boston. I was convinced Look I know they're down 31. But these guys are gonna get hard. It's the Celtics come on, and the exact same thing here. I assumed, you know this has been a nice story, but they're going to get swept. I think it's because Joe that at least for me, I've had to recalibrate how I number one. Look at Jimmy Butler. I didn't consider Jimmy Butler a star and I'm of the opinion. You have to win a title. You have to have a star. It's only happened really once when that hasn't happened, and that was that Pistons team. And then I think the second thing for me was I just looked at those role players and I think I downplayed their toughness. It just was. I didn't give enough credit to the fact that even though he went D three, Duncan Robinson would hit big shots that Tyler hero could be a rookie, but still not scared that Jae Crowder still had something left in him. I think that's what it was for me. But I can't help but now say they're right there with a shot to win a championship. I think what it is for most people is that when it comes to the embassy, people are programmable. It's a programmable sport. What I mean by that is your program to believe LeBron James will be in the finals because he's been in the finals. What 10 of the last 11 years your program to know who the good teams are. You were told the Warriors would be good. You were told the Clippers would be good. You were told Boston would be good. You hear the narrative over and over and over again, and you believe it. No one ever told anybody that Miami was going to be good. Even when they tried to tell you With that great home record, they went ahead and counter produced on the road by having a terrible road record. It's the exact same reason why so many people can't bring themselves to the point where James has surpassed. Michael Jordan is the greatest of all time. Because you have a group of people a large group of people that for 20, plus years have been programmed into believing that Michael Jordan, the greatest basketball player that ever lived, and that's largely true, But now those same people. Because we fear what we don't understand, are watching something play out in front of their very eyes every single night, and they have to find ways to cut it down because they can't accept the truth. That's in front of him. White James takes more heat than anyone. James shouldn't have passed last night. You should have taken the shot. He made the smart basketball player last night, but you got to cut him down. Now. Danny Green makes that shot. You know, the narrative is James didn't want it. Danny Green had to win the title for him much like Ray Allen had to win a title for him in Game six. Back in 2013. There's always going to be a way to cut down LeBron James because people fear the idea that he has surpassed their beloved God. Michael Jordan as the greatest of all time yet if it's easy to make assumptions about LeBron James Considering who he's faced, right. You always expecting to get to this moment, but he's gonna lose. You're like OK Tim Duncan and Kwai Lin er on the other side, Dirk is they're all he's got to get through Kevin Durant, Steph Curry and Klay Thompson. So there's almost none of this built in understanding of He's really good, but he's facing an incredible opponent. You don't have that in this series, fellas. You've got a team in Miami that has played incredible basketball. But you're looking at a squad that might not have a guaranteed Hall of Famer. I don't know what Jimmy Butler do from here. But that's the kind of team when you look at him ago. Oh, James will steamroll that team, So you just assume that he'll find a way The difference Making in this series is that we know Miami can keep things close and.

"Extent lead his way inside the 20 yard line. Robinson and others have come along to the air. This is a 22 yard pick up in their business That's talking about Alan Robson right there in the slot. Rob, pay that man his money. As they say in rounders. Hey, that man his money 3123323776 We're talking Alan Robinson Chicago Bears will get to baseball where we have to first place teams and Pat 40. I mean, he's just dialed in as they come in college football. Good morning. Big 10 fans today Looks like your day. Sources tell s I now that Sports illustrated now that a returned for fall football is expected to be announced today. Perhaps before noon. ABC News is saying the plan has been approved, so we'll keep you posted, but it looks like looks like we're getting big temple The first two weeks of the college football season felt a little bit. Ah. Uneven. I mean, we need a big 10 means Yes, yes, he needs to beat somebody in the national championship game. Wow. Back to you, Cap. You're such a guy. Let's go to Ah, A lot of choices. They're about Grand Rapids, Michigan. Beautiful Grand Rapids. Chicago. Joe. Hey, Joe. What's up? Hey, What's up, fellas? Janet, take here on the Wide receiver issue with the Bears. To me the whole situation if you want to Pam, but you don't over pound Why My thing is with the Bears. I think great white receiver should be paid along with great quarterbacks, because if you look at the league and the way the league's going, you don't see the Pittsburgh Steelers resigning receivers. You don't see the noon with Patriots resigning receivers. You don't see the Baltimore Ravens resigning receivers. Because they got they've always been stable. A quarterback tight end Offensive tackle. And I just think that you can find a wide receiver. When you have that quarterback That's gonna win you a Super Bowl, which this one's not And once you get a Ah quality quarterback. I just think that white receivers they make your wide receivers better. And so, yeah. Alan Robinson needs to be paid because he's a great player. I just wouldn't overpaid for. All right, Joe. Thanks, Joe. Yeah, You know, some people consider why receivers a dime a dozen. I know I don't. I think if you have a cornerstone guy for your offense, that's a good thing. Don't don't use the green bait model and say, Let's have Valdas scandal. Ing is one of your receivers and it's good enough, right? Aaron Rodgers deserves better in Green Bay. He wishes he had a cornerstone like Robinson on his team. He's got one guy, one guy, but he needs more. Agreed to go to. Uh Ah. How about James Enriched in park, eh, James? Good morning, James. Um, it's just this is my take on this. When you think about the ship travel bears in order in their organization, I think of them as Neighborhood candy store among all these big black bucks stores in just the mentality, this organization half its life, Do they really want to win? Do they really wanna win? Or they just want to be long? They're part of the crew. They're fine. I mean, But what now? Again? I'm not questioning your opinion. I'm just asked had this old school mentality that they refused to get bitten off. What does that mean? They have never been cheap. They pay all their guys. Oh Cutler 126 Million Julius Peppers, the highest paid contract in free agency 91. It's always that one. This one saying they don't want weird. They don't wanna win this or this or this is the worst ran organization wants us rain organizations in the they get. This might become mentality that they refused to let go. I mean, I just really need to sell the team. Oh, it is. It is thruster. Why are we debating this hated man? Couple of $21 million back for that. Are you kidding me? Our James. So this is what I'm talking about, Captain like you just named three or four guys. They did pay at the top, but for him, it's an issue with the McCaskeys because we had this called yesterday. People want him to sell the team. Well, they're not selling the team. And what George McCaskey. I want him to be closer to rocky words than Michael McCaskey. The late Michael McCaskey is and I want him to be firmly entrenched with the team understand what the players want with the organization and try to modernize organization. I think they have when you have a financial commitment. That is one thing for sure Robinson is going to get paid, but I would like for naggy or for Ryan pasted, nip this in the bud and just say, you know where negotiations would definitely want Robinson with us for the long haul, And if that is and then if that is a situation where you're tagging him there tagging him, But you want to address this, so this is not an ongoing issue all season long, correct. I would hope that Ryan came out today and said, Look We love Alain. We're working to get a deal done. Everyone needs to just relax. They don't have a history of holdups in this organization, right? Everybody gets paid A Rob's coming off an A C l they gave him 42 million. Cody White hair Your deals coming up done. Pick the guy Charles Leno done. They they've spent they spend in the cap. They spend money. But you doesn't mean they spend it the way you can understand why fans will be triggered when they see a story like this. This is nothing that you and I made up. Is this something that Robinson is agent put together and his team mates feel the same way, like, pay that man his money, Okay. Oh, eventually it's going to happen is not gonna happen on your timeline play that me and his money. That's exactly right. Talent. Teddy KGB. Speaking of Teddy KGB, Teddy Greenstein of the Tribune, just tweeting. Today is the day Big 10 fans no more effing around. All right. There you go. Take that is officially back to the phones and Danny and Rolling Meadows. Hello, Danny. Okay, Well, yeah. Robinson has no leverage here. This is a distraction. The bears absolutely do not need honestly, I don't care if he gets paid or not. Because again, he has to stand on. This is a distraction he's causing and without problems is the last thing we need. He'll get his money, but For him to go out to make a big deal about it on social media is just beyond me handle this internally with the organization that cause any more distractions. Appreciate the call any time that you're taking your stuff down off of Instagram, and you're just Alan Robinson athletes and not Helen Robinson bear and that's just a bad look. I don't think it's anything that I would do. There's a way to negotiate behind the scenes without making yourself the story. He rather not. I'm sure that he rather not, but this is the planet are going with and keep in mind. Look at that. Look at the phone calls. Look at the reaction on social media to us on this show about every single line lift. People love Alan Robinson, and they should, and they don't want a guy that's beloved. To feel like he's being shortchanged. Correct. The tag feels like a short change. CORRECT does know it's generational money. 18 million eyes is it's generational money, but to them to our fans. They want him to be taken care off, and he should be taken care of. My point is, he will be You will be, But that's not what fans want it now and you can understand why they love him. They love him and he's earned their love cap. He will be so long as he doesn't sustain any type of injury that hinders play going forward. What if your Al Robinson you could heat? Look, I don't know if you got us all last weekend on Saturday. All these you know Cup Delvin cook Alvin Kamara. C. L. R. I. U. S. Utah and Oregon their quality wins alright well we're Utah's loss is the U. S. C. not a good look Penn state's loss is to Minnesota who is an undefeated big big ten contender at that at that moment and and Oregon's biggest win is is Washington and they almost got beat by Washington state I just look at what Penn state is and they've they've got a better resume and they're built to compete if they get in the play but it's all window dressing right I mean we're we're fully in agreement that if Penn state was to win out right they'll have a win against Ohio state and then that they were able to win but would assume to be again some good Minnesota team in the big ten championship their rent hell it doesn't matter if they were ranked tenth right now they control their own fate that if they continue to win out there and so it really is at some point that doesn't matter and here's another one that was interesting most under rate are games of the week it happened in Salt Lake City seven.

"On Sunday. Morning funnel. Kibble minutes JJ after ski. Right here on the fan. And how about this nugget from the PGA? And the PJ's leader in Brooks. Kepco. This comes from Amanda Baillieu, who is the. CBS cilantro, terrific. In books kept his first fourteen majors. Grand total Robbie taking of how many over par. How many majors? Fourteen. I'll say. Four over par fifteen over par and his first four teenagers in the last eight majors, including the first two rounds of this year's. How many under books kept the maybe twelve. Fifty seven on their par. I thought you meant just in these tournament. No, no. I'm talking about his four major ones. Then that would be more yet, which goes to show you what kind of golf. He's been playing over the last couple of years. I mean he's now a big time player in a sport. I think that's fair to say, right. I would say, so, yes. And I know he's. Not exactly the most exciting to watch. That is very work, but like it's very boring at times, but winning golf. Here's the thing his strength to get it out of that rough and to hit some of those greens, hit those aren't even if he misses the fairway his length off the tee is so long he's one forty one fifty out on some of these par fours. These guys are one seventy one eighty one ninety out they can't get it to the green in two from this rough he can. Because so no matter if he's missing his he's not missing by thirty forty yards. The fairway he's getting it up on the green in two, and he's, he's putting greens were not difficult at all. Is a big hitter. He's good on a green. He's the wo- rounded all-round package golfer. Both can't complain as well as anybody. Jamaica, good pal. Shannon is up next, Shannon. Are you? Birthday pasta or something like. Pass it was Wednesday earlier in the week. All good Shannon. I appreciate it. Okay. All this won't do. The two baseball teams necks. What Yankee I watched digging for the first Friday and booms doing a good job injuries. But. Scotch like, for example auto Reno in relief. The quick, maybe eight nine pitches takes. It takes. Came. We go to. Anyway. This guy came in four and then you take him out after one and then you put in. I don't remember his name, but you put into a fourteen point green for the top half of the eighth inning. We touched on this Shannon. I did not like the way Aaron Boone, handled that situation I thought he had way too quick hook fat amount of vino. He would've had Tommy Kaley ready to rock and roll for top thinning. So no did not like the way and boon handle the inning. Way handle the bullpen. But the live to survive because of their resilience tonight dinning. Okay. A lot of people call to say on. The thing is I feel like it doesn't make any sense now to come out and everybody. All it's now used to be fired. He should have been fired. Glossies off-season what's happening right now? He's not hundred percent on hitters. In any way pitchers pitching. No them. Main problem, disagree with that logic. Not the main problem. He's also not a good manager. And here's the problem, though, Shannon, you run into a point where if you can't change the players you kinda just gotta make change change. That's kind of where the Mets are at. They kind of have to make a change for the sake of making change. They have Jim Riggleman here. He's proven. He can win as an interim manager. You have that bullet to me. You gotta take it if you just do okay and to be honest with you. Oh, I think today man, I think, on be honest, Shannon, who's today's game McAleese is good as gallon story. He will not be managing these team swept by the Miami Marlins. He can't. The next day. I'm very glad that they didn't get the number one overall, it would have been too easy for them to say okay, let's get number one pick, let sign K D And bang. We got win. I'm by the topping, actually force them to make basketball. Okay. Who do we take with the three? Who could we trade? Legit about like what do you think about was in? I would inquire about Anthony Davis. I would see what the asking price is going to be for Anthony Davis. If the Knicks are picking it three or j Barrett to me choice. That's got to be a peck. Okay. Without based off what's well, thank you so much. Take them enjoy pleasure. It's good to have you back on the show. And it's going to be an interesting time for the New York Knicks, the Knicks weigh the options of who will be available at the way in rumblings, kick the tires and be in on jury Kover out of Texas, Tech to me very simple, if they are going to utilize picking draft take the guy with highs stuff side, take the guy with the most potential. That's Jay at Duke to pack Bobby up next fallow. Bobby morning taking my call. You got it. We got anyway. You know, shame how great this guy's playing greatness board tournament. It said. Air people wanna mitt people. And it's just been a born tournament and the guy on the leaderboard it's a couple of guys. I don't even know who they are. JJ. It Bobby happen from time to time at one of these major tournaments we've seen in the past, and you wanted to go out to Bethpage for anybody who's going out today and you wanted to have a bunch of big names in contention. You wanted to have a finish and it didn't have to be is picture perfect as tiger put on the green jacket once again, and it didn't even need to be tiger actually winning or big name, actually winning. But you wanted to have some drama. And fortunately, Bobby with the wait is playwright now, you and I both know going to be a whole lot of drama out at Bethpage on Sunday. It's going to be a whole home one for him. JJ. All of a sudden, he's up by seventy to watch a problem, and I love it's a shame but I'm not to take it away from him. He's playing unbelievable this young man. You know. And it's a shame. Greatness, make something board at times, JJ. I can totally get that Bobby can Tony again. And I appreciate the call. I wonder if p. And CBS kind of frontal fit thinking about what they a on Sunday. Camp is a brand name. He's a big name in a sport certainly got it's going to bring eyeballs TV sets one too. He's not there multiple golfers. He's kind of by phone away. Everybody else. Three tiger rating to. So I think it's pretty fair to say the PGA championship Sunday rating not going to be anywhere. Close to getting Sunday at Augusta. Even Robbie that tournament and Augusta was on. Super super early. Because the weather it sure was and not only do you have that later today. But you also have the WWE money in the Bank, pay per view, which starts at six PM, and you have the game of thrones season four urine season three so we have not caught watch so you've made progress Eur four, I'm in the middle of season, four funny, because the last episode, I watched or the second, I watched Jamie. I'm not gonna say anything because for those who have watched the show, I'm not going to be that guy. You know what I call myself now because I'm not going to be the mindset that everybody listening to this show right now is the game of thrones person. So I didn't want to ruin anything for somebody who's going to get into the show for the first time because I know cesspool Twitter can be on a Sunday. Robbie knows what a cesspool it can be on a Sunday, Robby for your sake. And for my sake, we had better stay off Twitter between like nine thirty in the morning. I would say, so yes, it's going to go into complete it's going to be an airplane mode situation. And like for show purposes, I will tweet that show is on. But as far as news feed is far as stuff. East Rockaway Mike joins us. What's up like JJ my child's good morning? Robbie's a black banning singing, Billy, Joel was drumsticks. Great show, our. So I was at Bethpage Thursday when you would have, and that is quite an experience job the best facility in the country, and like I said it Tony the other night. You gotta be have. Billy goat to walk back. Nine at the black and I'll tell you the show longtime, thin jet. Dan, it's Murphy's law for the Mets, you know, Mickey Callaway after today's going to walk the plank, and he's going to get wet, and John in a little bit. I'm going to go play poker these nut jobs play twenty four hour game. And I'm gonna tell Schlomo listen three chips. Don't splash the pot with chips? That's it for me. John great weekend. And that's why to new in on a fan appreciate that Mike and enjoy the poker game. And you can splash the pot whatever the blank you up if you playing with teddy KGB. One of my favorite movies, by the way. One of my favorite favorite movies. And I was reading Jill sherman's column on Mickey Callaway that I believe would be in what Sunday's vision in the post and a job well done by Joel quoting. Rathers. Not teddy KGB. He was quoting the law about finding these sucker at the table of that. If you can't find this sucker at the table. What is it within the first half hour fifteen minutes, then? I believe that's the line. Something on us. Lots pathways job, well, done by quoting one of my favorite movies. Should be nice little Sunday sports. I wish the PGA had more. Sizzle a little more intrigue. So happens when you have a golfer. So I don't expect the PGA to be very interesting on Sunday. You have game three with the Milwaukee Bucks in the Toronto. Raptors have not seen the line yet on that game. I'm going to guess I place. Tawana is a point a half favor. At home..

If you believe that your team isn't doing something he or living in a dream world where you thought seriously was bringing her army north so ain't happening. But but the great coaches, they don't want to know, and they won't know, but they know something's going on. Right. But they are not going to be anywhere close to getting popped pretty common. That's me. Infamous that's him on Freddie and Fitz. Symon ESPN radio to me, the word dumb comes to mind with all of this. How dumb do you have to be that? If you're paying players or your coach that you worked for paying players or they're working out a system to pay players that you're having a phone conversation with somebody. I'll dump dumped you have to be in his day and age. You can have a conversation about paying players. It is me and you somewhere with no phones involve this way. It'll be your word against my. And you'd better be prove that that we're paying a player if you're going to go that route in big time college basketball in college football, whatever big time athletics, you're going to be a part of if you're going to pay players you an idiot to have a phone conversation in this day and age, especially if the person that you're involved with if they don't get their pound of flesh. What is the usual thing? They do. They don't shut up they turn state's evidence because they are unhappy that they did not get what they were looking for from you. I'm not encouraging people cheat. But if you're gonna it do it the right way have evidence that Kim lead back to you or leave back to the dude that you're working for and even with all it is do not be surprised, Sean Miller. And if you do running if you're running with 'cause if not guess what you have to go teddy KGB to another movie one and another great one. If you youngsters haven't seen rounders pay him, you're gonna have to pay that man his money that simple. So look right now. It's all hearsay, Shawn Miller. That's it. And that's what Arizona us in their defense to keep him as echoes. Hey, he said I'll guy name was involved that doesn't mean that guy was involved. We don't know what kind of angle Emmanuel bridgeton had by saying that on that wiretap the Christian dockets. Do I believe that these big time players are getting cash hail? Yes. I do. But the big time programs and the big and the smart coaches of these big time programs are always going to be one step removed from being popped, and how do you have to be a phone conversation? I'm doing something dirty when it comes to big time college athletics in this day and age, Josh GM. Dave Gettleman fell in love with do quarterback. Daniel Jones, a friend will tell the P was smitten too. That's next on ESPN radio and ESPN app. If you look at me and say he's a franchise quarterback. He's your guy six the bargain..

"And this is consonant with who all is is Paul is like the most professional giving artists pretty much we've ever worked with in our lives who worked with him in a movie called the illusion est about ten years before we started billions and immediately became real pals. And he's the most prepared he and Damian Lewis and Maggie and Asia, Kate. It's incredible. What we have going on the show, they just show up completely prepared and ready Paul in particular spend so much time preparing vocalizing. And for the moment. He walks on said he is trying to make sure that everybody feels like they're on the team that they're all playing together. And he all you ever hear about. Bart Giamatti is just what an amazing guy. He was. I'm sure you've heard this like, you know, president of Yale right before baseball. And I've had many people come up to me because they know we work with Paul and tell me stories of kindnesses that barchi mighty did for them when they were students at Yale. Yeah. I think he was remarkable. S's loved them the students loved them. And that's not a common thing when somebody running hear that from Paul the staves pulse. I hear that all the time. People talk about what a remarkable, dude. And he died so young real tragedy. I know it is an obviously what happened with Pete Rose. It's just the names are totally intertwined and then when I first became a fan of Paul giamati is work. I'm like, I wonder if that is in fact, the son of Bart Giamatti, and I looked it up and trying to get him on the show. Exactly to talk about that. I've reached out to you guys on that front, but he doesn't I mean publicly you look if you're in that position picture being what are you going to say, you're right? You can't say either thing. I mean, you can't say great gift Pete deserve. It can't Vincent's offspring. It doesn't have the same ring. I don't know what phase offspring's done, but it's definitely not sideways. It's not billions we could go on and on with the filmography. It's not the same thing. And then you have John Malkovich in the show. I had no idea he was showing up that was just a couple of seasons ago, and for fans of yours have from the rounders days that have teddy KGB show up as a Russian in. This was just a stroke of genius. How how did you get him to reprise this in a way became great friends with John when we were making rounders, it was our first movie, but you know, we got to be the local experts because we knew all about hold them and very few people did back then so right from the start when he showed up we gave him the lessons, and we set him up to make sure that he seemed like, you know, the smartest player at the table. And it started a friendship that's lasted until now. And we, you know, we just call them and said, you know, we want to press you into service. Can you come do? This and he made the time. And you know, it was obviously amazing. We were aware that we were having John play Russian. And we knew what people. I mean, we knew that. It was a great look we love little Easter eggs sugar out the whole thing and people have asked it's funny. He would really get carried away this year. People keep asking if he's going to eat Orioles on the show. Like. Oriole's hydroxy like none of that. People like to say is he the same guy is really teddy KGB if made it. Twenty years. He went away from the poker tables and suddenly rolled up. Russia back to Russia to become. No. It's just a nice fun thing that you have Malkovich doing a slightly different Russian accent. But I think you're also getting into it a lot of people wanna see maybe another rounders that has that has been a didn't. We have Matt Damon on the show a year ago was something like that Chris Mike that you said that there was something in the there's something in the on that yet. But it's always just very much the ether for some reason, this has been talked about, you know, we've talked about it with mad. We've talked about with the other actors with with Jon Dahl who directed the first one, and he's right erected, many billions episodes, and it's just something for various reasons that has a hard time coming to fruition. The rights are owned by a sovereign wealth fund, and they like bought all of the underlying Miramax movies. And so it's a sticky. Listen, you have a high net worth audience if anyone out there. Choir the rights, and he mover and shaker and then come back to us with them. We're already sounds like an episode of billions. Let's find out there. Let's put it out throw it out there. Yeah. Go get the right. Who's Matt Damon sounded like he was totally anyone wanted to do. We all want to do. It totally sounded like you said you wanna give me an idea of what what it would be. There would be poker. Okay. We would catch up with worm. We catch up with worm. Find out what he's up to. Last night a form was alive. And I said, yes, okay. Kim is alive. That's good to know. Start something to hang our hat on right there. An is there any poke around the set of billions? I think about the come out it. It's not something that happens a lot. But we had one episode in was it the second season where there was a third ornament. I'm talking about all fair. When it happened because we had the whole place set up these twenty tables for this Wall Street tournament, right? And they were chips, and they were dealers and like it was just in the air and people were going. I mean, I'll say rich that when we made the job we have now as show runners it's really hard to justify also a little dispiriting to the rest of the crew. If suddenly they saw the two of us, they're all working so hard. Moving equipment, and we're gonna play a little card up at the ice sheet on you know, it just feels like strong when we made ocean's thirteen, and you know, we're living in a casino. Does that was built for the thing from months? Yes. There was a running poker game. We played poker every day that we shot that movie. There was a poker game and most nights afterwards. Like that was a long running poker game and on rounders who played all the time too. But on this one because of our position we're gonna we're gonna act like professional understand one day. We had Phil helm you there who did a cameo episode. And yeah. You know? So he was happy game. Remember even that day? We played this mini tournament. We've made the blinds go really fast, but it was during our lunch break. And then you could feel everyone wanted like the people playing wanted to keep it going. I remember an assistant director like whispering. You're going go. Like, our shove, really? Let's not last one last one for you. I know who are favorite character is on the show who do you guys here resilience the most favored character to get into the weeds. You're probably looking for wags melt of, but no you hear all of them. I mean wags seems to have in New York. A real cult following. Because all these guys think he's a good guy. I think they should act like it. Right. But that's here in New York. Mostly we hear all the characters but for us. It's it's again, we we Chris Brockman we loved the show and we'd every word, but when Chuck roads dad up on screen. Chuck senior every word out of his mouth you right? It's like cotton. Can't his it really. Is. We have table reads before each episode, right? A week and here the script, but it's really the whole cast assembled. Because it's the only time that the whole cast is together. And we do the thing. People don't do rehearse prepared versions of the of the thing. They just read it, you know, like at lunch hour, we just want to hear it. But when Chuck senior Jeff Domon the actor plays does his scenes literally everybody just like drops what they're doing. As the mazing every word out of the guy's mouth is hypnotic. Only the only the only character we can equate that with in recent years was sterling from Roger sterling from madman. What an honor that's like our favorite show. You know, let me just say that if you like Chuck senior, you're really gonna like some stuff that's coming up. Stuff and things that we every time we get the notes.

"He is an opt out after two thousand twenty two he has a club option in two thousand twenty four full no trade clause. It was something. They absolutely had to do Noah Syndergaard came out the other day and did his best teddy KGB. You remember from the movie rounders? Yes. Pay that man, his Manny, and they paid the man is money because Dave they had no choice. They had to do this. Do you agree? Yeah. Absolutely. You can argue both sides had to do it the gras I'm older than most people might expect. He turns thirty one in June. Did he wanna wait two years risk injury risk? You know, hit it hit heading into free agency at almost thirty three years old. No. But the Mets likewise they needed to resign. And there's so much stuff always going on with the Mets. We didn't wanna hear this for the next two years. You're going to re-sign Jacob degrom. It had to be done great deal for both sides. And I really felt like the part of the reason why it was amazing to me in having conversations with executives with other teams with agents yesterday. They were like, yeah. It's gonna get done because the Mets have to finish it at one of the things we talked about yesterday. And I heard this from. Executives other teams Brodie van wagon in in his first year gentleman's or his credibility would have been so deeply undercut if they didn't get this deal done, and they felt like for his sake for someone who's just starting out. Clearly, the Mets seem as general manager promise man, you didn't want to have this hanging over the team the whole year and being cancerous in the way that your players thought about you know, I agree and these things obviously in New York they take on a life of their own. You know, so this kind of situation with the Mets maybe that same situation doesn't exist with another franchise, but it does exist, and I think you're spot on. And that's why they had to get this deal done. And I'm glad they did. What do you think of the terms it feels like a fair term when we look at Chris sale and that range seeing what other pitchers have gotten of that? He's now in the upper echelon of pitchers in those three years, thirty two and a half million dollars. Yeah. It makes sense. Right. You know, the basically the same structures Chris sale for just a couple of million less which makes sense sale, obviously has been a little more dominant over the course of his career degrom obviously coming off a dominant season. I think he's gonna be great. He's a young thirty year old. He doesn't have a lot of wear and tear because he didn't pitch much at all in college. He does have a Tommy John surgery way back early in his minor league career. But and he was so good last year even with a little regression by the end of this contract. He still should be one of the best pitchers throughout the life of the steel. No. And how many times have you mentioned a lot of stuff happens with the Mets? It seems like. That they have these things that sorta just take on a life of their own guard said what he said the other day and then last night there tweeting from the tarmac because their flight to Syracuse delayed and the Mets players weren't happy about that situation. I'm glad they got some good news. I mean, it's it's only with the Mets you plan this trip to Syracuse where you don't even have a game scheduled against your your minor league AAA affiliate there. And then you get apparently stuck on the tarmac. It a hate to say it. But there's a reason there's a mean LL Mets whatever's going to go wrong with the Mets at does seem to be the case, hopefully with the new regime, we can put L O L Mets to bed and it'll be only good things moving forward right before we get to your predictions. I wanna hit some other topics on the table the Chris sale deal. You made mention of it. I wrote a column yesterday in which he said, look you love it for Chris sale. This guy's been a tremendous competitor, very diligent. I saw him in the Red Sox clubhouse. And I said, yeah..

"Performance line. Mike Golic, Michael junior. Trey wingo here with you. Mel kiper Jr's latest mock draft is out three point. Oh, there have been some changes. We'll get to Mel in just a little bit as we get closer and closer. We're inside a month away from the start of the draft. So that's always a lot of fun to three day. Experience will be in Nashville and something you will be able to experience with us. We'll get to that a little bit later. We're very excited about what we're going to tell you later on in the week. But we do have a little bit, ladies and gentlemen. Some breaking news. We have major league baseball season starting on Thursday and Noah Syndergaard when he wasn't complaining about travel was complaining about the Mets not signing their ace. Jacob degrom. Well, one of those things he doesn't have to worry about anymore. He still has the travel issues. He's got to get out. But there is no longer an issue with Jacob degrom in his contract extension. First reported by S N Y confirmed by ESPN Jacob degrom the reigning NS Cy Young winner. And the Mets are in agreement on a five year one hundred thirty seven and a half million dollar contract extensions Lee, sources confirming the ESPN's Jeff passan. You know, I it's a deal so tournament over twenty seven and a half years, Mike, you're just going through all the other part about this thing that we can get into. But maybe it was the final words of Noah Syndergaard Thor. That really got the speaks things happen for said pay the man, they said Thawra pay the man, we'd better pay the man said he'd better pay the man. And I mean, however, you want to slice this one. It seems like the man's not getting paid a lot road to the rest of the pitching deals that are going to be on the high end going into this year. Well, again, so twenty seven and a half year. He is thirty years old he'll be thirty one in June. So just a couple of months away from thirty one. Was at least two years away from free agency twenty twenty twenty. Thirty two last couple of years. He's been in the low thirties as far as star tea's average over the five years about twenty eight just under twenty eight starts year. Certainly and we saw last year won the Cy Young with just a ten wins. But we all saw how we can pitch. And what a great pitcher. He is. So I get what you guys are saying about the average per year. We see some of the top pitchers in that thirty three thirty four and up on average per year. And this one seems low to that. So I'm not sure how much age had to do with this thing at all. I really don't know. Yeah. It's it's be interesting. So again, it's a hundred and five hundred and thirty seven and a half million dollar extension. There's a full no trade clause in here. There's a sixth year option, and there's an opt-out post twenty twenty two. So he's going to get one hundred and twenty million dollars in new money through the course of this deal and in a balloon to one hundred and seventy million dollars. If they pick up that six sixth year out, what was the opt-out? Did you say doubt after the twenty twenty two season? According to a Jeff passan tweet updated. So that's that's. That's four year four years basically away. So here, here's here's one way to look at it. Right. Book get paid obviously be hit free agency. And he continued to pitch he might have gotten a lot more money but GIO Gonzalez. Who's been a very consistent pitcher what I think has at least twenty five starts over the last nine or ten years the last decade. Yeah. Basically signed a one year one year contract. It was a minor league contract with an option. He wasn't a pleasant. But my point is he's thirty three and you never know with with with shoulders. How you know, we're seeing issues Clayton Kershaw Severino already. So this was basically, hey, I'm good teams good. This is maximum dollar. Not maybe I'll take this now and not worry about. And listen, we heard Mike trout talk about this and saying he saw Machado. He saw Harper. Didn't like how the Dallas kaikal is still avail, correct? Right. Greg kimbro still avail out there free agents. You know, they're signing late or a couple of guys not signed till they're taking these extensions. Maybe they're getting a little less money. Maybe were at the time thinking, okay where where we could maximize. Our money, but maybe we'll take a little Lhasa deal that people go that's a little less. Somebody could have got to have that security because if he waits two years now, he's thirty two who knows what goes on in two years with a pitcher in their armor their shoulders hits free agency. So you know, what? While and thinking man, if I'm a free agent, maybe get thirty four thirty five year. I'll take myself twenty eight year and have it in stone right now, knowing I had that money coming to me, and I'm sure you're going to hear the chorus of well, he won the Cy Young and was other-worldly last year and the Mets were still trash. So are we going to shell out money for that? You look at the other pictures that are much higher paid than him whether it's average per year or the life of their contract. And most of those deals were signed either in two thousand seventeen or before the one that's closest was Clayton Kershaw who signed that three year ninety three million dollars going from twenty nine thousand nine hundred twenty twenty one so a little bit higher still, but obviously much shorter. We know the the injury questions surrounding Kershaw in a lot of this. So it might just be you're right. A sign of the times and kind of where we're at. Yeah. Look, I do think that with pitching. It's always a little there's not there's never a pitcher that doesn't have a tired arm at some point during the season. Right. So you mean, it's the most unnatural in all of sports, by the way. Let's be honest. Throwing a baseball is the most unnatural motion, and it puts more stress on your elbow, your shoulder everything else, and you do that over and over again, this is a win win the Mets get somebody maybe under market value and Jacob degrom gets taken care of. And by the way, getting taken care of was a big point. We talked to BUSTER only earlier today during the six o'clock hour, and he let us know how significant making sure the new Mets general manager brought been wagon was making sure this got done with Jacob degrom last summer eight came out, very passionately. Instead the metro need to pay Jacob degrom because he's that type of player or they should trade him. And now he's on the table. And if they don't get this done, this situation gonna completely undercut his credibility. It also will feed into the narrative fair or not that the Mets ownership. Doesn't spend enough money, and you can bet and you guys have been in Quality Houses, you know, in locker rooms that in the Mets clubhouse. We saw this Noah Syndergaard the other day where he's doing teddy KGB impression paid the man pay the man his money that was BUSTER only earlier with us. Two percent. I'm grocery stores and one percent on all other purchases. What's in your wallet? All right. So by the way, now Jacob degrom is now the sixth highest paid pitcher in terms of average annual value entering this season behind Zach cranky, David price Clayton Kershaw max, searchers sherzer and Chris sale who also just got a deal done. So we make the seamless transition from the start of baseball season two were inside a month to the.

So in the four games the warriors played against the kings this year the warriors won by four points, five points, one point and two points. And I was listening to Tim ROY last night, and he said boy a playoff series. It'd be fun said to my kid. I said little too fun. Thompson pretty much said after the game. Yeah. "And then that we were talking about Zaha for a moment and agree list was in the Knicks for a little while. I just I personally think another strong central midfielder either holding or box to box and strike partner for Harry Kane. I believe by the way to season 'cause I was at that match. I was in the front row the second tier when we do to to with Chelsea and and gave the league to Lester, and I'm convinced had we had devote that season. There's no way we would have lost. It's He's. just he's he's too prolific. You telling me that he could put up fourteen goals for Sunderland. But he couldn't with us with ever dire. In one Yama standing in front of the back line and Hugo a year or two away from playing like becoming the keeper of the Cup. We we have the golden boot winner we had to keep them for a little while we had player, but I think like. If we could get Harry, either solid strike partner was someone who could stand in reliably like Pocchettino has gotten performances at of Lucas Maura. I don't know why we've been carrying the Mela I long as we have. He's he's been hot cold and injured a lot. What's that? He's been he really hadn't cold anyone through a long injury spell too. So yeah, it's tough to figure give them a little bit of a pass. Just because he's he was hurt. But yeah, you know, I just I think it comes down to like Levi need to pays his men. His money's with Ericsson just pay them in whatever it takes keep them. Keep them with Spurs. Yeah. Yeah. Definitely. That's yes. I agree. Very very teddy KGB gift men PS money. Yeah. No, I love it. Brian Copeland who wrote Rogers friend of mine? So I feel if you ever listen to this podcast. I better make sure I do good teddy KGB that was cooking those. Well, also rounders like I watched somebody in college just thing in mind club of splish, deport whenever the fuck alike. My chick chick chick chick chick elegance or blood. But yeah. Movie though, boo. But yeah, man, I just I personally feel parts Tino believes in the us. I wasn't I I mean, you're gonna lie to you and say Harry winks was on my radar three years ago. You know, please was I was I will versed in Oliver skip. No. I don't think. So you know, I just I feel we have or jaded or any of the the the the use. I mean, that's the thing about the game to is is 'cause uses king. You can have a sixteen or seventeen year old emerge as Rinaldo did as Beckham did as in the Croatian game. You know, Alan, Gino, Lilla of it kid here, you go into Chi kid Pippi from riyal who got nine when he was like six or something like that is like these these there you can't predict what we have in the the us. System, and I simply not well-versed enough to know. Who we have in our under- seven team or under nineteen, that's brilliant. But I can say that. Touch does love his players and that and they in turn Jerry very clearly loved him as well. And I think that if. I was in Cleveland living in working during the bronze first tenure with the Cavs. And I. I kept saying they build a team around him unless they give him more than just him and predictably would lose Dale because everything played also him. Yeah. And I just said there's no way that without having like I kept saying that, oh, you know, what even needs to sign. Chris Paul needs to sign. Some twist coming. We're like turns out it was great because the road out to the Brian would have died now sat in the room. Everybody went and had a man. Looker money, his problem. And then the the guy who was working for the casino shows up and gets your Hooker. So what happened? Like the money directly goes into his pockets until has your name on it name on your money. It's not illegal. You can do it. Oh boy. Now, this is classic limping after Las my seed money that wasn't the worst part. So then I was like, well, I got to win it back. And then in the space of one hour, I went to the ATM twice to get two different one thousand dollars cash advances against my credit card, all man, and then it was playing one hundred hundred table let you know back. And then I lost the thousand went back and get another thousand my hands are shaking. Holy shit lost thirty three hundred dollars the first night. And then I just went straight to the airport and just paid extra to fly home. No, I've had what an awful trade three years old. I didn't have the money. It was against a credit card almost that. I remember going to the I remember waiting for midnight. So that the ATM would turn over. So many sides, and you know, what I never I I had a really bad, and I would win and I would lose. I I really had the gambling issue. And I and this is to give some hope to people out there that might be struggling it literally just went away. Like, I didn't go to any, you know, Gamblers Anonymous it just completely went away. I just I I feel completely saying why Henry I I had it so bad. I one time I was working in a Muko. And it was when I was a young road comic. And I literally lost all the money. I had in the world like literally all all like and to the point of where I'd like fifteen bucks after tonight tipped her tip to the fifteen zero. Yeah. Because what are you going to do it? So far the whole at that point. I was just like my head is spinning and I didn't know what else. And it's so then, you know, I I always played cards a little bit. And sometimes I'd lose more than I should lose. But then the kids came and I said, well, I can't play poker anymore, and it just haven't. And it hasn't been it hasn't been. Thing. I remember I'd go to Hollywood park down here. And or any of them the bicycle club the card rooms. Yeah. And I'd I'd stayed till like eight in the morning and you look at the clock and just like eight really eight and then you're in our. Funds out. There's like joggers and the guy with his newspaper stopped at the red light and coffee, and it's just like just like trying to trying to keep your eyes awake. And you lost nine hundred dollars. Yeah. The worst. Somehow, we got to sadder place then coffee. Yeah. I'd rather. Just take the blood clot. I gotta move my car in three minutes. Okay. We should probably call it. "Talking to my buddy, dad Halley the NFL network today. And he's big on quarterbacks in their first playoff game. Struggling three of the four games this weekend. Feature a quarterback who will play in his first playoff game. Mitch Trubisky of the bears against the eagles. Does. Shawn Watson for the Texans against the colts. At obviously Lamar Jackson has only playing like his seventh or eighth game against the chargers. And look at who's on the other side and each of those games. Lamar Jackson goes against grizzled veteran. Philip rivers to Shawn Watson goes against Andrew lock. He's been all the way to a native CFC title game. And Mitch Trubisky goes against the Super Bowl MVP. So big dichotomy. They're pretty interesting. Here's one thing. I'll say about the NFL weekend. I believe that the AFC Super Bowl Representative will play football this weekend. I'm not even one hundred percent sure who that will be. That's just my bet against New England and Kansas City. I do not think the patriots or the chiefs are going to the Super Bowl patriots to talent deficient at this point arc chiefs. Terrible defense will burn them at some point. The AFC Super Bowl entrant will play football this weekend. That's my belief in it may well be the chargers if they can simply get by this one game. Love the games this weekend. Really looking forward to wildcard week had have more on that coming up on tomorrow night show for sure as we lead you into the weekend today is also a very special day in forty Niners history. We'll tell you about that coming up in about ten or fifteen minutes. I'll Mark Willard here with you on these sports later, but let's get let's get juniors jots. All right FPJ. What are you? What do you? What do you got going on for us tonight here? But all right seniors joss, it's a weekly segment where I just got to get stuff off my mind. I just wrote down a couple of things for you. There's no point being in radio. If you don't use it to at times, get things off your chest. I agree. Why we do this? All right. Here's my first. I have for you. What if dating was like the NFL draft? Now, what do you mean by that? Like, you could actually draft your you could draft the people that you date. Yeah. You could tank. You can play. Well, and you know, maybe not get is taking like slump busting is that similar, I guess. Yeah. Same thing. Maybe get a couple, you know, bad dates who's doing the drafting. I would imagine you have to have a scenario where both men and women are drafting here. Okay. So everybody gets the draft. And so maybe you could have two years if you could just suffer through two years of really bad dates then boom on the other side number one overall pick. Okay. I like that. I could get into that. I was thinking not anymore. I married now. So it's it's you know, now, it's done. I was thinking about more of the lower echelon of I don't know, I guess people look spice, and maybe personality wise, just not a good personality. Not all about. Both. I got someone for you. By the way, she got a great personality birth, and then the upper echelon of the top and they'd have to date each other because it Santa fell draft. All right. So then you'd have everybody would kind of be in the middle. I gets cut a like a tournament like thirty plays one. Yeah. And twenty nine place too. So I guess you'd want to be that that fifteen fourteen matchup. Love right there. That's a perfect match. Yeah. You're that's the perfect one. Thirty matchup is where somebody looks in and goes late. I guys over his skis. All right. Let me ask you another juniors. Jots if dating was like the NFL playoffs. Okay. What do you mean by that? Just go head to head. So it'd be like the best of the best that you only get a date if you're one of the twelve best out of the thirty people. Really? Okay. So is it more realistic a best of the best? So like Brady Giselle. Yes. I mean that was realistic. I don't know. But who beats that couple? They they win the Super Bowl every year. Don't they? Yeah. The greatest of all time and the greatest supermodel of all time. That's straight out of the the teenage teenage movie books rights, Valentine's areas. All right. Here's another junior shots for you. What if every sport had a different name, then you know, it now? Oh, couldn't call baseball can call football hockey or baseball guy. What would you rename baseball bat ball? Stick ball. Stick Paul is kind of a a street sport. Yeah. Back in the day. I know they used to call rounders back in the day that was like a British thing. That's how it kind of morphed into baseball. Whether you should call it rounders. Yeah. See I know that as the poker movie, Matt Damon rounders you've never seen this. Now. See this is me am I dating myself right now, you would love this movie. Okay. This is not a dorky movie. It's just a little bit not yesterday. Mike. Let me look up rounders. How old is routers? It's not that old. But you're like twelve years old. So how old are you twenty three? So. Yeah. So for me, that's the I mean rounders came out in nineteen ninety eight. Okay. I was three years older three. But it's, but it's you know, it's hard some staying power like it rounders has its moments on cable or whatnot. You could have found it. I'll check it out. You would love it. You would love it, and it holds in other words, if you watched it day, you wouldn't be like this feels like it's twenty years old. That's huge for me by you. Do you like do you do appreciate Matt Damon at all? Okay. You'd love rounders. Yeah. Yeah. Just there's a very famous scene. Just remember teddy KGB. Okay. Well that one right down teddy KGB, and then go watch the movie, and then call me, do you know who John malkovich's, no crap? The F B. This is going to be the problem with you. And me, I you last night. You did that to me when you brought in the thing about LeBron's fit. And I thought throwing a fit turned out. You're talking about his outfit. I don't even think we have done millennial Monday be a goal of yours is just be like how old can we make Mark veal? Now, not even that old like I'm forty three. But I mean, she's. You don't know who John malkovich's, it's a symbiotic relationship. I look at it that way. Thank god. You went to UCS just like my wife did. So we have the we have that connection. And that saves us. We do. Okay. Here's the next two years who was the first person ever tabu. And who do you think it was? And why wait a minute the first person ever to boo or to be booed both both. I was just thinking about doing the other day. Like, I am. Yeah. I'm an hour. I don't like I will boo when the dodgers come to town. I don't like doing the home team never fan, and I will express my frustration in a different way. And the only time I would ever even consider doing a home team is if it looks like they're not trying because that's your responsibility to the paying customer. But it's not your responsibility to hit a home run. Every time. I want you to that's hard. Yeah. Right off season. Right. So I'm not I'm not in the one hundred who was the first her. Person to be booed. Man. I gotta feel like it was I don't know. Babe Ruth, Babe Ruth. Yeah. Because I mean wasn't. I think the homerun when it first when Babe Ruth came onto the scene. It was almost like people didn't like it was like, well, that's too easy. All these other guys have got a manufacturer, you know, three hits. And okay. So we're going to get a base that whole era, and then and then Babe Ruth would come up and just hit the ball in the seats. And it was kind of like they didn't like it at first. So I wonder if Babe Ruth was booed. I would say Babe Ruth because that's the first sports figure has to because he was the biggest of all time in the Red Sox can action. Right. And then the Bambi no other thought goes to like Jackie Robinson and people who kind of experienced it from that. Obviously jeers for horrible reasons about about that. Yeah. I was thinking more of a religious route. Maybe like Jesus Christ like when he was like getting pizza and stuff. It's a little darker people. Yeah. People didn't like his. Yeah. Or maybe like hell is this guy thinking? Actually, I am or maybe it was like an ancient Roman empire. Somebody just yelled out randomly crowd. Boo. That's catching. I do. Like this thought like how did it start? The people that are nailing him. Yeah..
