Which Walt Disney World Rides Are Better at Night

"Going to talk about. What are the best rides to ride at night in each park and a long time ago. I think we did an episode on disney after dark. But this time we're going to focus in on rides and i would thank important. There's certain things well. There's some other stuff. That's cool at night like world showcase and you know some areas with cool mood lighting like tomorrowland's pretty cool at night minus the speed with yesterday land but there are certain rides that really shine at night much more so than others. So we're going to dive into that. We will go park by park like we'd like to go i think. Do you have a park. you'd like to start with magic kingdom. Of course the classics also has some of the most i would say has the most rides. Yeah it also because you know me. I actually made a list class so and it does have the most rides. I think are extra special at night. Let's start with you. Why don't you tell me what would be your first ride. That add magic kingdom that you think i think we're saying is different and or better at night. No one ever tells me anything. So i don't really have a list but i like more off the top of your head. I like tomorrowland at night. Because it's more not spacey. But just i don't know it's it's cooler at night. I like the people mover at night. Tomorrowland transit authority. I think that's really fun to do at night. Why do you think it's fun to do at night versus the day okay. Do you like it better at night. Yes why because we'll i just like the night better in general but i on. It's like darker upside and so you almost get to see more of borland as it's cooler because you can see more when it's not so light and blinding and you're just kind of high and annoyed. I would actually agree. That tomorrowland itself is better at nice way better at night in the day. It's not bad it's it's sort of unawed land in the day it doesn't come together as well as the other lands do in terms of a sort of theme look and feel it's all concrete it's a bit scattered. It's got a bunch of random neon signs even stitches. Great escape sorta still sitting there but at night when the sort of neon and spay slate stuff. We consider future. Like you know when you see movies. That's it does look better night. There's the new tomorrowland entrance sign. So yeah i would agree.

The Non-Fungible Photographer

"This discussion is about this weird thing. That's been in the news and all over the place called enough tea or non fungible tokens. So we're going to figure out we're gonna do a kind of a who. Why win thing around that and talk about and and let's with the grain of salt in the room right now just a year on a journey as well. You're learning more and more about this stuff and you don't purport to be an expert you purport to be someone who has made them and have more your further on the journey than probably the most the rest of us so we're going to pick your brain and figure out how it is where you are. You're essentially are canary in the coal mine. Right now acidly federick. Yeah happy to be happy here. Happy be happy to be your canary. Good good welcome. Welcome to the to the show. Man this is a lot to squeeze into about an hour here so let let's kick it off with just a little bit of background on on who you are as of taga for for folks that may not have seen any of the other interviews that we've done who is jesse dittmar and then we'll jump into. Nf tease after that for sure. I'm portrait photographer primarily celebrity portrait photographer working for the new york. Times washington post l. a. times i've been published in every major magazine publication. That's out there. And i'm working for other brands like hulu and apple for advertising as well and i photographed some of the. You know most influential and interesting and you know. Difference makers of our of our current culture from politicians to actors to authors and artists sends kind of anybody. You could imagine You know some of the big hitters like denzel washington and tom brady and serena williams injury yang last last week and You know all all kinds of people. Yeah so anybody can speak to this. You know you've got a lot of stuff floating around out there. A lot of a lot of images that are famous images that are inherently non fungible. Let's start there. Just the term non fungible token right. So you know my my. And i'm i'm playing the layman in this show right. I've done word or amount of research. So i i kind of understand a mask questions. From a layman's perspective. So non fungible is kind of the way. I see it correct me. If i'm wrong is something that is unique right so i am inherently non fungible because i am one of one frederik van johnson. I think on the universe right. If you believe in if you believe in multiversity there's infinite numbers of me but you know this in this reality. There's only one frederik van johnson. So i'm non fun learning as you're alluding to federick spacey real quick get get out there real quick even in the even in the first sentence of trying to explain yourself as non fungible.

Most Australian Frogs Intolerant of Human Modified Habitats

"How many different species of frog did you studied. Get your results. I studied a title of eighty-seven spacey's she's almost a third of australia's total number folk. Spacey's we've got about two hundred and four here. Yeah just over two hundred forty. And where did you go round new south wales or where else it was actually. Oh based off citizen science data so data from all across australia we had one hundred and twenty six thousand reports of folks from over thirteen. Thousand participants incredible. Did you ask these citizen scientists. Well that's actually pretty simple. Today was get out there. Get out the frog day app. Press record whenever they had a frog calling and then that's it they just send it off to the australian museum. One of us here listens to it and identifies all the folks that are in that recording. And then they send it to an jones to broadcast it. Yes sometimes they do. Yeah so north. Track to tell how much humans affect frogs and sometimes unfortunately interfering with their ecosystems handed you get that sort of information out so it's all about compiling all that information that we had and then looking at a species of frog and asking. Where does this for lack to live relative to all the environment that's available to it so if it spending a lot of time near the city's and it actually it's range covers all the way from cds to farms farce. Then we can say that. It's actually quite tolerant. But if it's range say is in the city but it only really lives in pockets of forest in the city. We can say that it's quite intolerant. And how many of them are threatened with possibly extinction well we found that almost seventy percent and potentially even more were intolerant of human modified environments so quite large percentage of our folks

Judge Orders Kevin Spacey Accuser to Reveal His Identity

"There's been a key ruling in a case in which actor Kevin Spacey is accused of sexual abuse a man who says the former house of cards star sexually abused him in the nineteen eighties when he was just fourteen had been known only by his initials CD but a federal judge in New York says that must stand U. S. district judge Lewis A. Kaplan says spacey's accuser cannot stay anonymous as the forty million dollar plus lawsuit goes forward Kaplan says the plaintiffs claim to privacy does not outweigh the interest of having a free and open trial or for spacey to call witnesses to defend himself he also notes that the CDC has spoken to an unknown number of people about his claims and anyone of them could have revealed his identity I'm Oscar wells Gabriel

A Conversation With Carlo Rovelli On quantum physics

"This beautiful closing same in telling quantum physicists color ravelli's bestseller the order of time where he reflects on beethoven's mississippi lameness. The song of the violin. He writes is pure beauty. Pure disparition pure joy. We are suspended holding our breath. Feeling mysteriously this must be the source of meaning that this is the source of time. It's very color ravelli. These intellectual free spirit with radical routes and a passion for poetry and literature art and science. The whole rich smorgasbord. Caller was recently named one of foreign policy. Magazine's one hundred most influential global fingers. He works in italy. France canada trying to understand the deep mystery of how gravity works at the quantum level. He writes popular opinionated columns in italian newspapers and popular sites books that have really struck a chord with fans worldwide amongst them seven brief listens on physics. And he's two new books. Are there places in the world where rules are less important than kindness and out this month. Ease helgoland color joins you an eye on science fiction from canada this week on the tesha mitchell and we started out by reflecting on the way in which this pandemic as tiny virus with a will spread is challenging the hubris faces but then we got bigger or a bigger. Thank you for having me. I love how you describe. We humans as being the species of little creatures living on marginal planet of peripheral star in one of billions of galaxies in the cosmos a senior in an essay that you've written about the astronomer copernicus and he's he's a revolutionary challenge that with and so us with was center of the universe. But somehow i it seems to me that we leave with these pre copernican prejudice that certainly at the level of the ego. At least we do. Yeah as a spacey's we still cast ourselves at the center of the universe. And i wonder if you think if we didn't do that if we sensed that we would just an arbitrary player on an arbitrary planets round by hundred million galaxies. Do you think we would position. Different eggo formerly yes. The fact that we are obviously irrelevant on the larger scale of the universe. It doesn't mean that we have no meaning. It doesn't mean that we care about is meaningless we are. We're certainly nothing right. Our son is one out of two billion stars in our galaxy is nothing in our galaxy. One out of probably a billion billion golics's in in the world just creating team prepared killing. Someone is actually candid that right in the last decades it was realized that it was many more than what we saw today. So so we're even smaller than we thought we were more inconsequential. That's something we scanned by that. But that's not the trolley deal of us that make what we care about important for us. Thinks are important for us just because what we are. I love the woman i love. Not because she's universe because she's the woman i love that and so it's for for us. We are important for ourselves. I find it to if i give me. Serenity doesn't give me anguish it sort of relaxing to know that we do our best. We share what we can love what we can. And that's and we appreciate the this life. Yes your initial university studies in the classics i think and then and then onto physics and then onto a phd in meaning to the world of of quantum theory and quantum gravity. Bit on curious to know what that classical training brought to your physicists. Self from early on because all have read do who have raised. You know that you have a great passion for poetry and literature and physics sees is part of all that fear sciences. It's a complex center price that requires the collaboration of different people in different kind of minds. And i have appreciated a scientist which are extremely technical. Or which have an extremely analytical. Mind that just going to details and split the the arguments over and over again find the little truck. I'm not particularly doing good and doing calculations or going into details. But i think that science also needs People who look the things from from a larger perspective and and see where the the two problems where the good directions and full. That's a nation which is not strictly scientific. I think it's it's it's so important to look into Into the great scientist of the past the many of them had an extraordinarily wide culture. So i think they were. The over specialization of modern education does all how help from the middle sized to go ahead. Let's just physics. Tolstoy in biology and medicine in In in other scientists. I believe that. I don't like science teaching completely focus on solving little problems. You know you have a ball. Rolling down a slope but the speed How long does he go and come on. This is so boring is interesting. What isn't is understanding. What is the structure. We're using for understanding the wall. What is a force. What does it mean to have an energy.

How to Build a Successful Value-Driven News Membership Model

"Read many stories about news innovators in europe and the united states. But what is it like to lounge digital bone outlet in the global south. What are those challenges and opportunities for funders who take the plunge in those countries. Our guest today is one of those founders. He's name is tiny gut. He was editor chief. John one of argentina's newspapers and in two thousand seventeen. He laughed to find rhodesian one of the most innovative examples of digital newspapers in the global south today china will talk about membership human journalism and social empathy and how to measure success of audience participation chine- welcome and thank you for being with us today. Thank you very much thirty for this invitation for having here. I'm regulatory audience of this podcast. So pleasure and a privilege to be thanks. Thank you so much. So i want to start with a personal question. What did you do. Why did you leave a good secure job at an established newspaper to lounge a small new startup. that's a person in question and to make the long story short. I would say i when i was twenty seven year. Old longtime ago any flow very particular path. Down there are a decider graphic. satoru Decided rector innovation director and finally eighteen chief and twenty one is at the company and for years eight chief. I decided to step down And i would say sort of to change the nature of of my challenges. Of course it was a big and beautiful challenge to lead that talented newsroom of almost two hundred people And we work and we do have a lot of fun and success in bringing into the twenty first century Great media brand Born in the nineteenth century But on the other hand today i feel that is also an enormous and also beautiful challenge to create a new media bencher from scratch So to bringing a small but also very talented team That by building this this new media we are trying to answer some essential questions to to our craft journalism and also to me. So how can we acknowledge the the media fatigue And media avoidance phenomenon for example. Or or how can we cover the most pressing social issues we face as society and covered in a different way and probably the most interesting question. A how does this. But equally experience of the twenty first century people's participation can affect journalism. So i would say that the coral of of We are trying to hook like the broadcast. One way or the model per line that was born with us media And he's one of the challenges. Our industry spacey facing. I'm sorry it wasn't short. The the answer but i have two more things to say. There is almost no secure job now. Our industry I think everything is at risk An acknowledging daddy. I think it's a good thing on the other hand. I believe that in the end. I guess That why i step down being there to of great media. Well i guess it has to do a lot with a very personal calling on that I read a sentence which i found very very interesting. What you said. Human journalists can rebuild social empathy. Can you explain to us what it means Yes we believe that the problems we are facing us society. The challenges are very complex and of course Demands complex many times complex solutions and we are not going to find those solutions without an open dialogue between institution politicians and citizens So pariah station. For example. it's it's it's almost the name of the social conversation today at is preventing us to find those solutions. An in-depth sense. i believe. Journalism has an important role in terms of showing Other words helping us understand other opinions For amd we'd take this very seriously advocates axiom. So we been trying sort of new full matz that help how to help us our own To have more empathy with different lives people that lives in a different way of thinking in a different way than myself So it has to do with how we build a more robust set citizenship. That helps that public dialogue to evolve and on find real solutions. Gus dose dilutes might should have at the end semaine back in personal and institutional decisions

The Hidden Force Shaping Drug Prices

"Soaring prescription. Drug prices are raising the cost of healthcare and have many patients either struggling financially or abandoning treatment and many experts. Put some of the blame on pm's so what exactly are pharmacy benefit managers. And how did they get to be so powerful. Liz tongue starts us off the more read about pharmacy benefit managers. The more they make me think of this fictional bad guy from the movie. The usual suspects heiser soza. Here's kevin spacey in the movie explaining who sows as be turkish. Say father was german. Nobody ever believed was real. Nobody ever knew him or sell anybody that ever worked directly for him but to hear kobe. Aussitot it anybody could have worked for. You never knew that was his power. Kaiser suze is mysterious larger than life and a big part of his power comes from the fact that no one quite knows who he is or the extent of his control which is kind of like pharmacy benefit managers or p. b. m.'s. Most people haven't heard of them and yet they wield a huge amount of power to the point that they affect just about every drug dispensed in the us. Every time you pick up a prescription. You're dealing with a ppm for example. Let's say you go into your local drugstore. walk up to the counter and give them your info and prescription. Yeah i'm going to pick up a couple scripts the pharmacy tech punches buttons. And then there's this moment you stare at the register waiting for the price to pop up wondering helmet dent. Is this going to put in my wallet. It's one hundred sixty six dollars and eighty cents the in a nine at sixty eight eighteen. Those are both through. Your shorts that to me seemed like a lot. I asked the pharmacist. How much most people pay for a month's prescription but depending on the insurance so people pay nothing's people player dollar up to like twenty dollars. Or whatever. So really just depends. I feel like. I never know what to expect when it comes to prescription prices but the surprising thing i learned is i am not the only one and the pharmacist has no idea what he or. She's going to get paid for that prescription. It's not until that prescription is processed and that that usually takes place in real almost in real time while the patient's waiting that's doug hoy ceo for the national community pharmacists association. Doug says this transaction is shaped by that unseen force the p. b. m.'s. They are the consummate middle man. The middleman between the pharmacy and the insurance companies these days. Pbs are huge. If you flip over your insurance card you'll probably see one of three names. Cbs care mark. Optum are ex or express scripts these three companies control seventy to eighty percent of the market. They say their size gives them the power to negotiate bigger discounts with the drug companies. And that in turn reduces prices for the insurance companies and the patients but critics say these are too big they've been called hidden monopolies even quote unquote legal cartels. But doug says that's not help he started out at first. The pm's were really plan prescription processors and so they filled kind of an important need patience before had to file their own claims In a sort of a pain meaning that instead of standing at the pharmacy counter waiting for the tech to punch a few buttons patients had to send their actual paper your prescription claims to their insurance companies and wait to get reimbursed but as more people got health insurance the number of claim skyrocketed soon. It was more than the insurance companies could handle. A solution came at the end of the nineteen sixties in the form of pharmacy benefit managers. Who made it their mission to handle and streamline all that

"Good morning yeah. Hope you're doing well. Can you hear me so good. Good thank you right. today I want to talk about practices. Usual and The wish of the alzon teaches masters that the students become well rounded in terms of practice only a realization but in the in the functioning today is an analogy of a head and tail so we could take it as a dragon Seems like a good beast kombi grasp of grasp but it's directly applicable to each one of us as a human being so in this particular cohen. Ross Franquemont U-2 Pilot Talks Through The Prep For A Mission.

"Tell us a little bit about the the the typical mission. I mean, we've many seen youtube footage of of the takeoffs and landings of the Dragon Lady and the airplane is called that specifically because it is a little odd to fly. But as a pilot as you got used to it tell us a little bit about the the whole process from suiting up to getting it back in the charts at the end of the day. So. Definitely, obviously, one of the most unique aircraft that is out there in her for us emission it actually started pretty much today prior. Because you're you're going to be sitting in space, can be strapped into action see. For you know nine, ten, twelve hours at a time, you're not gonNA be able to get up or anything like that. So you have to get yourself physiologically ready to go on a trip like that. In the jet. So you're you're eating right everyone gets to know the body really well. So you You basically have to show up you obviously well rested. And Well Fed and You typically you about two hours prior to take. You do all the other normal pilots stuff. You know you have to check not yet check weather and all that kind of stuff because. You might be miles above the typical weather out there while you're on the mission but you're gonNA have to take off to land eventually in you have to go through all that stuff. So you gotta do the normal pilots stuff. You're actually you're you're meeting up with your chase car pilot who who's going to be joined the chase garnished another youtube pilot and his job is. Probably. The biggest part of his job is he has to be ready if I come in and say eight know my my stomach's not gonNA. Take this mission today. For whatever reason he's got his step in in actually fly the mission or me So but we're basically is basically like a slight lead wingman relationship with with the chase car islet So, he's supporting you. All along the the coal preparation for the flight. The. Around in our so prior to takeoff, you're actually you're going to separate the chase car islet called the mobile is going to. Head out to their craft. He's going to take all your stuff. In and he knows exactly how you want the aircraft's set up because you've told written it out for him and and when you go. TDY With these guys for months on end, you get to know each other pretty well, know how people like stuff. So is going to take everything out. He's GonNa do the full walk around aircraft. He's going to get everything ready inside the aircraft and on a full mission. Yeah. There might be a five or six different contractors worth of sensors on that equipment they're. All out there you know this thing look like they're preparing young space shuttle for launch because there's hoses everywhere. There's wires going everywhere on the aircraft everyone's uploading stuff to their own sensors and checking them for me. It's as a pilot. I'M GONNA head back and I'm GonNa Start Process Getting into spacey and that starts around an hour prior to take off and. The for most of my time in the U.. U2, it was actually the rule was you had to be on oxygen in our product takeoff they we've made some modifications cockpit that's actually changed or the modified cockpits. You don't have to be on oxygen or an hour anymore, but let's still try to get as much a close to in our breathing pure auction, and that's just to try to get rid of the nitrogen at your system But that process basically starts to you're GONNA have to Off The plate suit, you put on some kind of long underwear underneath If you're flying over really cold area, you know they always say dressed egress. So The you'll the space. It doesn't provide a whole lot of thermal protection. So if you're flying the Arctic or something like that, you're probably get you're gonNA put on some like. Patagonia thermal underwear or something like that. the You'll go out and there's actually a team of space. You Spacey Technicians they're gonNA actually help you get into the space. And The gas? Is Awful Sport and physiological training. Squadron, they they do all the maintenance on the space. They're the ones that put you in and they also do all the the preparing the seek it, and actually the ones that strap you into the seats they're very integral process. Make sure the mission actually happens. The way it's supposed to, but team of technicians are GonNa get you into the space. there's a supervisor watching the whole way in because it's obviously one mistake could be life threatening in a in the event of an emergency They, get you in the state they. Have to put the suit on the helmet gloves lacan. And as soon as she locked helmet on, employs it down you start they start understood oxygen and that's Kinda starts here what they call your two-time. So you get you get locked in they have to put a harness on you. That's going to actually attach injection seat. and they run through. A series of tests leak test to make sure that students can air They can inflate it because at the main job is there you know it's primarily to make sure you don't do hypotheses in also makes you don't lose pressure. Around your body and that's full pressure suit essentially, it's going to. It's just a little little cabinet around you to make sure that. You don't get into a lethal zone, the air pressure on you. For most of my time, flying with the cockpits were setup where You're up seventy thousand feet. Pressurized about twenty nine thousand feet, and so when you're sitting in the space suit that actually It's not inflated because you WANNA be able to move around and stuff like that, and your body's actually sitting at twenty nine thousand feet. And it's designed if the cabin were to say suddenly rapidly rise cousin a leak or an injection or something like that. The suit X. Lock in pressure at thirty, five, thousand feet around your body. So it'll keep you alive We all do it in the in the Austin Chamber ride the Chamber up to seventy five thousand feet or so and it. The let the suit actually keep you alive in the you know real in the in the chambers she get to see what is like not a real comfortable experience.

Why are humpback whales getting stuck in rivers?

"Say the least as it's the first known instance of this happening. The first little these animals up to as much as twenty kilometers up a river up in the northern territory and USTRALIA dissipated pitchy here we're talking murky muddy waters and so when I first saw the picture of Humpback Whale, which is an oceanic spacey's in this murky water, it was something that was a phenomenal thing thought sydney-based marine scientist Vanessa at PIRATA. Now, two of the whales is thought have since swam back out to sea but at least one remains in the river and the worries if stranded in the shallow water, is it going to be able to get out? So the main reason that the probably in there is well, I should point out this has never happened before, but maybe one of the animals took. A wrong turn and ended up in this area thumbed back wiles generally in the Kimberley region, which is northwest of Australia H. and every year to breed and have their babies, and now say time to be hitting Beck South dant Antarctica where they're going to spend the summer fading. Let's hope that this one reminding while has the opportunity to do just that being a. Tidal River is rather different to being in the sea. So how might the whale be doing? Do you sound to to listen and to vocalise to talk about now this whale because in on Acre located may be reliant on visual cues. So simply having a little look around or trying to say where there's a space to soon that's that site side there's a whole. Number of things that would probably be going through this wiles mind and without ends Promo fighting it'll putting a human spin on it on show that this animal might be doing circles or at least on. Friday. There'll be a tame going up just to have another look at it just to say what it's doing and to see if it's made any progression in its movements. strumming is a real risk and up in the Northern Hemisphere Southampton University's Clive. Truman, told me why this is dangerous for a whale watch would want to be supporting with the weight of the organs and the way to the animal. So when it strands that can compress the lungs and undamaged into Logan's same time if a while is stuck and tide is coming in and out almost paradox. Can Drown because it can lift itself off of the the bite can then water can get into the blowhole and drown. So what tools to scientists have available to encourage twelve plus meet away? Oh, to do anything, there's a couple of examples that I could run through one being creating a physical barrier with farts. So the animal was simply move away with type in some cases that hasn't worked in the past where the animal is simply gone onto bites you could use acoustics such as banging on physically banging on vessels, which is really nice for a while some have suggested using kilowatt playback sounds, which is the Predator of the humpback whales but again, a Lotta, these are potentially guttering juice stress our. Expert, team will have to y out what options are potentially going to be put on the table to see if it's worth inducing these kinds of reactions to then have a favorable result, which would be the animal turning directions and heading out to say as the name of the river suggests the whale isn't the only thing in east alligator river. Clive again. It folktales of fantastic animals extremely intimidating, but probably not a risk to sixteen major adult humpback whale unless again the whale is stranded, and if the world is stranded and stuck than, you could imagine the talk dolls could pies an additional risk.

The confusing world of potting mix ingredients

"There is a huge and confusing world of blunt potting mixes out there. You've ever stood in the garden center. bags and not quite sure what to buy. Then I'm here to help and I've elicit another expert to odd that up on the matter my guest this week missed a house plot. Ak Vlada Nicholas Cage is a house plant care specialist from Washington, D. C. With a huge following on Instagram, and he also makes them pretty awesome tiktok videos to I. I came across him via a wonderful Tiktok where he was doing a matchup between computer games and House Plant Care, which is absolutely brilliant. Open link to that in the show notes because we're GONNA be doing some decoding of posing mixes I'm working out exactly what you need I. Guess. The first question is, do you need to make your own bespoke potting mixes from individual ingredients or can I buy something off the shelf? Here's missed the house plans thoughts on the matter. There are two general types of wanting me sold out there. You have mixed plants for succulents and CACTI. We'd succulent Yes. The lot of them are good in you could use straight out of the bag. However with tropical makes in most cases for most Hobby House from growers. This use some extra of the bag. The main reason is most of these commercial makes or not or. Yes. It's all about the holes. POROSITY is really important concept to grasp when it comes to choosing your house plant potting mixes and the truth is that not all hose grated equal in soil water narrow held in for spacey's in between particles in these horse can be different sizes. We can generally classify his micro pores or lower floors in microprocessors smokers. These breweries they're often leads it to the naked eye while Mike reports are not in my reporters important for who who'd area because they hold oxygen. Whereas Mike reporters are important for absorbing holding water so It's important to maintain both adequate. In water supply for all planned growth in a city to have both micro in. In the soil. In when they say the most policies aren't enough. They don't have a lot of these reports. They don't provide a lot of Austin for the roads. In order to have a good solid structure, it has both micro might reports you need a goods ratio of small medium, large particles in particles of different sizes. Probably most commercial mixes the problem is a they contained mostly Moss, which consists of very fine particles. So you'd have only only fine particles the slow only pretend micro voice, which means it will retain water. You won't have a lot of oxygen into also compact very easily. If you've listened tonight sustainability episodes, then hopefully, you'll have some awareness of the sustainability issues that are surround Pete and its use in house plan compost. But it remains the fact that many many production nurseries still supply their house plants in potting mixes that contain an extremely high level of Pete. So how come those nurseries can grow plants the look amazingly lush and well but when we get those plants into our homes with and don't change the potting mix they start to struggle well, fortunately Vlad's on hand to explain that as well when a plant is getting locked to light it photosynthesis more and as a result three, pulling more water from the soil. What this means, the roots will not be sitting in west, salt for a long time. So the chances overthrow brought will be low. And this is why plant nurseries can grow in these next. Nurseries provide huge amounts of light. They have ruled stay have walls made out of glass. Fifty Times more than the plants in our homes. So nurseries actually need party makes they retain a lot of water which is why they can use these leaks. Straight out of the bag, but the problem with growers is bid. We don't have this salon life in our homes and. Most people even if they do have a lot of wife. Did Not provide to their clans is deeply usually choose plan place from based on that where to look good noth- according to how much light is to get in a plant doesn't get a good amount of lights it will synthesize less and. Pulling less water from the soil meaning, they will be sitting sweat soil longer and increase. Should you be changing the soil on your new house plants? The me get them home from the nursery. This is a subject of enormous debate in various house plant forums. But here's Vlad take plants in nurseries. They usually go through periods of very. Intense growth and the soil that the coming could be. Deficient imaging by the time you get them. So if plans is Lutheran deficiency, of course when giving new so soon as you can continue developing well, also there is accumulation of salts in the soil over time, they will burn the roads. So the longer you leave a plan inside soil more damaging will have on the roads. So If a plant needs to be deported usually. Again.

Leaf botany: Silicon

"Me ask you a question what is in the night off. Probably, most of us would say, when asked this question? Might be we'd say Kaban maybe we'd say water. Nutrients. Silos. But I think very few of, US would mention silicon and yet silicon can make up. To, ten percent over leafs dry mass. The what exactly is silicon on? What role does it play in the life of leaves? In this third part of my occasional leaf botany series, I'm joined by applauds ecologists that spent a lot of her career finding out what silicon is all about my name's Julia Cook. Planned to colleges of myself as a plant functional color just because I'm interested in the role that different spacey's play in Ecosystems I work at the university as a lecturer. So my next year of teaching and research and public outreach. The really super obvious question to stop war exactly is. Silicon is, is sort of coming into its moment beat in terms of plants. So I'm not surprised that you haven't had too much about it, but I hope I hope you willing feature even more. So silicon is one of the elements sits on the periodic table below carbon and it doesn't easily exist just as plain silicon on earth. It's often silica glasses is silica or insulation. So it's as sadistic acid in in water. So it's it's often associated with oxygen, and then when it dissolves, it's it's sort of as component of water, but it's very, very abundant on earth in the in the cross it's the second most abundant element of oxygen silicon oxygen together a silica. Everywhere really do plants contains the uneasy something that's concentrated in particular plant tissues or residual spread around the hope loan. Yes. It is in old plants, but the mountain plants varies enormously. So some plants have have just miniscule amounts whereas others can have. Up Ten percent or even more in their in their plot tissue. So ten percent of their dry mass is a lot this. This is enormous amounts. If you think about how much not uniform Susana plant, the amount of silicon also can really exceed that some of the plants at a really big accumulators things like horse tails you can always feel how grain Ian they are when you run your hands up some some of the and some people actually use them as Sandpiper because they've got so much silica in them. Another family that has leads of silicon as the the grasses, some more than others but most crosses have quite a bit of silicon and sometimes you run your finger class blade and you get a little paper cut. and. That is because the edge of the Cross has a whole lot of little silica deposits on there, and that's designed to as a head of defense to damage the mouth parts of animals and stop animals eating it. But we see that as a paper cut on fingertips. That is amazing. Ten percent that's quite as you say, that's. A lot silicon. So what what, what's the role? Obviously, as you say, some more than others, what was the purpose of the silicon that's in our plants? That's great question because we're still learning about that I guess the simplest way to describe it seems to help plants manage a whole range of stresses. of its its main role seems to be stress alleviation so they is stresses can. Biotic or caused by things that are alive or can the Arctic so coast by by sort of environmental factors. So looking at the the biotech stresses so plants get eaten a lot by animals. And look for ways to or revolved a number of ways to defend themselves in silicon can be very important they for some animals so. Things, like stinging nettles when you get stung busting initial, the sting is essentially a little silica needle that that injects toxin into your skin. So without the Seneca, you probably wouldn't get stung busting missile they can be very abrasive. Surfaces can can be very bryce than damage the mouth parts of insects and possibly mammals. It can be layers of silicon within Leith that prevent animals from cheering all eating them as much as they might if they was nice elegant. So plants he silicon quite a lot as a head of defense and and Somerset is found that once the plant is attacked by Voles, some plants were able to then take up more silicon to protect themselves when they're under attack so it can be judged any juiced defense. On the other side looking at the environmental factors silicon has is shined to help a lot of different stresses I want to stress stress. It can help manage nutrient imbalances. help manage wind stress. Also two things if a plant stressed adding silicon generally helps some is a house plant grow this obviously immediately makes me think of my own selfish world. A think about. Whether I need to worry about the silicon in my plants. In the amount I have seen some fertilize houseplants recently advertising include silicon, making this making big play of this, but he's not something that's worth considering I how plows usually get this in the first place. So that's really interesting that you've change and I don't know if that because people making the fertilizers have appreciated the importance of silicon now owned adding more silicon over there reporting silicon that was always there I'm not sure. Suddenly silicon is applied losses of fertilizer in agricultural systems, particularly in Ross sugarcane where as as crops, harvested and things people removing silicon from the system in deflatingly available silicon. So it's it's becoming increasingly popular as infantilized in terms of. Indoor, plants. There's been a lot of work looking at indoor plant. Specifically I know there's a lot of work looking hydroponics and and sort of indoor plants way. Is Routinely added and very important as I. Think he will also ask how plants a obtained silicon. Plants take up silicon through the roots as dissolved in in the sole solution of the water solutions obviously gathered. And then that goes through the transpiration stream in than is deposited. Ole Throughout the plant often there's more in leaves. Oh, the sheets lays the plants, but they can be high silicon deposits in route sandbar can and woods end all sorts of places in Pont. One

How to Use Crystals & EOs Together

"I'm here with Haley Crowley who's the founder of whimsy and wellness? Haley. Believes in making wellness, simple, lighthearted and fun four years ago. She began making these really beautiful essential oil labels as a way to distract yourself from wondering when she would get pregnant again, armed with a silhouette cameo machine and a roll of vinyl. Haley sold the first whimsey and wellness products out of a tiny oetzi shop since. then. She's grown into a full family business with three kiddos running circles around her desk. Haley, on a mission to help people use crystals and essential oils in their every day life and make it fun in the process. Haley. Welcome to the show or so glad you're here. Thank you so much for having me I. Love Envisioning Your Kids just certainly on your on your desk because I have to myself. Just today we were packing up, you know mailers, sit out and just chilling out, help me stuff envelopes and it's fun to have a family business and it's also very chaotic. So I imagine you use some oils now and then to keep it calm. Yeah that's exactly right I. mean they're helping with like air quotes helping it really. Twenty Times longer but it's good they feel so important. Yes. Well. You said that you started making your beautiful pretty labels to distract yourself from wondering when you wouldn't get pregnant again is that part of your story tell me more about that yeah. So I started using oils actually as a way to like sent Christmas gifts like the that I was making I wanted to find a natural way to sent them, and so that's what started. Me With oils and then fast forward a couple of years. It was after our second miscarriage and I was like, I need something to do. I was in between jobs at the time and so I was like I'm GonNa. Just start this little at seaside thing to give me something to do and maybe bring a little bit of income like on the side for our family. And after a couple of months because we were one of the first essential accessory shops, it just took off and it just kept growing and growing and I kept working and it kept growing was that that was in two, thousand sixteen. So. Been Four Years Yeah and my husband now works fulltime with me and it's just getting more than I ever imagined. That's awesome. Well, this is not the topic of our interview today I want to get to crystals and oils soon, but I couldn't help it just pick up on the fact that you were using your side hustle a little bit as a therapy. You know let me need to distract myself I need to do something I just relate to that so much when I became a mom I really struggled with postpartum depression and doesn't that transition into parenthood was like a huge shock for me and along can of worms and long story we won't. Get into. But when I started, it was partly the reason besides from just sheer financial need that I started my business and it made me feel so much better. It made me feel like I'm pouring myself into something. It's mine. It's an outlet gifts. Me Gets me talking to other people it just really saved me away. So just related to that that aspect for she absolutely, and just what you said, I talk about that too like I felt like Lynsey wellness gave me purpose kind of like what you said like it gives me purpose and at the time I didn't think I was GONNA. Feel that until you know I, had a baby or babies but. With us it's crazy. It's almost the opposite, but it says such similar feelings. It's really interesting. It's funny. How per I? Mean we I think we are capable of having multiple purposes in one lifetime and even. More than one at the same time and sometimes that's what I need. I need more than one thing happening or I go crazy. So. Yes. Well, how did you start using crystals and essential oils together? Yes. So after I had seen wellness, we started with bottles and labels and. I was looking at product. I don't know what I was looking at but somehow I stumbled across these premade perfume blends and I saw on them. They had the roller top instead of it being like glass or stainless steel. It was made out of a gemstone a crystal and I was like, that's so cool like I want that for my customers who I know don't want to buy the perfume, they put their own oils in it. So I searched and searched and searched for so long five or six months to find a supplier. For these to offer them and it was so hard to find one without a little hole in it because all the stones at that size were spacey right and so I finally found a supplier and was hand making those on my couch watching TV at nighttime and everybody loved them. So I went to Tucson is the world's largest gem and mineral show that they hold once a year. I went there in search of a supplier that could make these for me because I couldn't do it myself anymore. And I didn't find that. But instead, I saw these giant piles of tiny crystals. And I was like those would fit inside of a roller bottle right and I had seen other people do that again in their own blends house like I wonder if people would like that as an option to and so I had no idea if people were actually going to like it but I was like well, I have to get something while I'm here I came all the way here. So I bought them and carried them in my carry on backpack and got stopped at security. But I think they're used to it because the gem show, but it was just so funny I'm like anyway. When? Oil Convention you know all TSA agents are like Oh yeah. There must be another oil convention that's. Smelt. Exactly yeah. They're used to it with the crystal show and so anyway fast forward to now everybody really loved that and just along the way I started of course learning more and more about crystals and just kind of doing my own research I feel like when I started this, there wasn't a ton of research like information out there about using oils and crystals together. So I felt like I just kind of research from a Bunch of different places in kind of put together my own I own research, my

Who should replace Ellen?

"News is ongoing. Generous. Ongoing News that won't stop are one nemesis might be replaced by our other nemesis. On their talk show the Ellen show. Well, these are that this is them news, but I do feel like Ellen could be replaced with a WHO, if this all comes to fruition or like a WHO thinks so too person because I'm seeing a lot of people nominate various talk show e people although apparently the rumors are like James Corden is going to replace Ellen, but like he has a show so. That makes no sense to me on any. That's what blows my mind. Why he has eight hundred shows. He has just made another daily show like that doesn't make any sense to me at on. The also has carpool. Karaoke. And then he also has the cat sequel like he has plenty, oh. Yeah. Let's replace a supposedly nice person with another supposedly nice person like. Haven't. We learned anything from this thing. These people are Nice. They suck. I think always be wary of people who say their thing is being. I think the number, one person who should clearly replace Allen is Kiki Palmer. There's literally no. Better obvious. Getting a lot of a lot of traction and she showing up a lot of tweets because it's like she just had a talk show that got canceled for no reason on ABC. Well, it was like that one hour of Commerical Strahan. Michael? And Kiki Sarah? There was A. Third Sarah. Sarah. And Michael and Kiki It just give it to clean working it. Just everyone likes he. We Love Kiki. She's a great host. Who else do you think if if we're going if for skewing young? I think we to Kiki for skewing older, I think it should go to fucking the woman who should have gotten David Letterman, amy. Sedaris like give it to amy sedaris because people like her. She's silly. I don't know that, amy, the thing is I. Don't know that Amy Sarah's would want to do that I. Feel like. I don't need that. We're talking about this on the Patriot. If you WANNA. Go listen to that about how drew Barrymore also has daily, show a daytime show coming out, and I'm like who would want this job? Drew Barrymore wants this job since when like it's just to meal a a weird job that you wouldn't want that could turn you or probably. Turn you into a monster, right? Yes. but the to provide a context in case you've been under a rock people are like there. There have been the rumors for years and years and years, but specifically the past few months they've really you know the hit a critical mass and started being reported publicly like Ellen is an asshole to everyone. Ellen is an asshole. The people she works with Ellen makes people not talk to her ellen cruel. But now there are reports by like news and variety and insider that it wasn't just ellen being a to everyone and celebrities and not liking Ellen like being on Ellen show. It's that the executive producers were actually like being abusive like in sexually harassing the employees. So it's like a culture. Culture of toxicity. That is the sort of thing that I don't that Ellen is deciding up allegedly that she doesn't want to deal with anymore. So she's like this sucks like I just rather not do this anymore. Right. So but this rumor, this isn't this is in fact, this is rumor because people keep their keep going back and forth and saying some some sources say she's not leaving this show sums his sources as she's leaving the show. I. Can't imagine somebody as likely a annoyed with the whole situation who is known to be not a very nice person would want to continue to fake be nice and have to apologize and half to like kind of whatever because these rumors have been. Kind of like I for some reason I, keeping you Kevin Spacey Pre the abuse allegations like when everyone knew he was gay, but no one knew he was gay like it was weird thing where it was like if you knew, you knew if you didn't, you had no idea what be totally shocked it. Kind of feels like that type of Hollywood news where like everyone knew that Ellen was secretly mean except for Ellen fans who had no idea where living happily with ellen everyday of their life and like the show was wildly successful, right? very strange. A very strange thing. Do you think that this will happen because people are so bored in their craving, the Gospel, and then somebody just this is this is what I mean I, think it's I mean. It's a combination of a lot of things at one of is like the people finally speaking out about their employers. It's like finally like shutting down like the. The systemic issues and leg, not being corporate America and knowing that people will support them and believe them and believe them, and that like the media machine of Ellen isn't powerful enough to shut down. So many voices if enough come out and and we'll talk about it later in the episode, but it's like the it's similar to the. Vanessa. Morgan thing, it's it's shades of an ESA Morgan being like I'm going to speak up against the riverdale creators and the Riverdale producers because people are people are realizing that they can do that and they won't get like dumped on by the press or of their fans they will be seen as like heroes. But. It's also just like, I, Think Dakota Johnson had a tiny bit to do with it because Dakota Johnsons like Open crubaugh open open. Rudeness to Ellen SORTA. Gave People. I don't know permission to speak about rumors that she's an asshole more openly. They're like, it looks like that's what Dakota's referencing. So I didn't even know you liked me. Of course, I. Like you. You Knew I. Liked you. You've been on the show many times and don't I show like. But I did invite you and you didn't come. So this time you invited me, are you sure? How do you? I don't think. So ask everybody. Jonathan. Your producer. I was that, why didn't I go? I don't know that became a meme. You have people like Brad Garret and who else replied to him. Leah Tom's Tom's joins. She is mean she is. She. Yes. Now, I can't believe I just called the Thomson. So Deutsche US minor. That was obsessed the disease of this show right here. Yeah. Leah Thompson also respond to that and said Yep I mean, I just think that it's like no one was a true story note once you lose grip on the fear, you are the power you had over I mean, and it's funny because then you have scooter Braun coming out her being like Ellen is great. I. Love Allen is like so people still. Look at the people coming out and say L. Like scooters, hedging his bets at this, all go away and back to normal and Ellen will still be powerful and whatever, and then you have people speaking out i. just it's a fascinating reveal of a monolith almost kind of crumbling that you didn't think would ever. Be exposed like this. I didn't. It seems like Palmer is getting a lot of A lot of press over like a lot of tweets being could replace. Ellen is trending key Palmer got a lot. Tiffany haddish. Got A lot that woman who does the like trump impersonations? What's her name? Sarah? Cooper. She got a lot of people tweeting about her I mean, I think it's just bomber just someone who someone who actually. Got Some tweets booing reply Oh doodoo be from drag race also got A. Drag. Race. Got I. saw that. Yeah. But I think he palmer when you when you want someone who has like the resume as well like. You of don't WANNA, pick someone random like Sarah Cooper. As funny as she is on twitter, because like her her her skills as a as an interviewer, not proven whereas Kiki, Palmer is a link interviewer host. Yeah I mean I would say like the Ellen slots, big slot made we just move up the ladder. We get Kelly Clarkson in that slot. We get Drew Barrymore Kelly was and we get key. Palmer. Work. Curse, lot I know these are all people on different network. So it makes literally no sense but you. Better like we. We cannot confuse the audience. We must replace the Ellen show with someone named. Ellen. Ellen Ellen. Page's like don't look at me like another gay. Just like I will not I will. Zone POMPEO, she wouldn't do it. I. Don't I don't need Elon Pale. Ellen Page Ellen Popular, and Never Would Ellen Pompeo every interview Ellen Pao's ever done. It's been like I. Love Grey's Anatomy I. have nothing but free time like. She will never do that. So I do like talking to gets 'cause he does know a lot of things, and I asked him specifically about the Spacey thing and Weinstein, the Spacey case we're talking about yesterday believe he doesn't like I think we said the guy was sixteen and now eighteen but I think he was eighteen he was eighteen he said he was twenty three. He said he went and changed in like his street clothes sat down and had drinks with with his the problem with all the information is all we never get good information because he's serving him and he was groped. How's that work? He's handing them. No, he he knew was Kevin Spacey. And he after done with a shift just got back in his dungarees, and they sat down to have drinks. So the underage part of it is out the window because I think it was eighteen and if he wasn't he said he was twenty three, but I also said to garra this. If you're in a situation where adults are there and somebody says, I'm Twenty-three he said, if if you look anywhere close to twenty three there's no more case in the statutory part because we're supposed to I d. He said there's like Snapchat thing of something like Spacey putting his hand on his leg. And then at some point the guys junk was out of his pants now. I'm not sure how Spacey let's twist gets your junk out of your pants when you're sitting next to him. If if you're able bodied, and you don't want that to happen. But he said he doesn't think there's much meat on the bone of this speak this case. And also there was no filings. There's no anything for full year. Then they heard Spacey all the allegations year later, and then they went and that reminds me I met Kevin Spacey. And then I said, but how does the criminal part of it work? I mean, you're looking to get some money at a Kevin Spacey don't really care about the criminal part of it. And he said the higher up the ladder. You can go criminally the more money you can get in the city. So we can get him. I agree whatever. Then when it comes time to cash check or him to write that check. Let's get him convicted much as he can appear. And then we go civil case will really cash so did his shift end. Or were there tables waiting for like an hour. I'm always curious. "So the amount of sources they have to check. It's crazy. Right. But so they found him Spacey went out for the day. And was just like all right? I'm I'm found. Fuck you guys. He went to Domino's pizza. Ordered the story. It's better you orders cheese pizza medium. Sure and drives down maybe like a mile or two way parks, the Daily Mail, car parks. He gets out of the car, and he gives the guy a pizza, and he says, hey, man, I know you're just doing your job, stay warm. Happy New Year's and gave the guy the fucking pizza now. They're filming him the whole time. Right, right. He's got a hat on a trucker hat. That was cool. Like, it wasn't like cheese cheese. AM and the hat just said retired since two thousand seventeen. Which is when he got out the brass on this guy. And then fucking video almost just like. Yeah. He, but he always has been like that. Yeah. I like fucking boys. And I take him with me everywhere. Trying out me. Nobody did the brass. Nobody did. Well, it was interesting rapid. So what the actor? He was the one who set this whole Shane. I'm just saying for that many years. Do you know what I'm saying the brow? He would go to party with young boy harem of them. And be like yet. I'm Spacey is anyone going to say anything about me being gay in the media or otherwise? No. So we would tell people that we knew like friends. Sure. And they're like, no way. There's no way Spacey's gay and I'm like, dude. How is it that nobody knows? It was the best kept secret. So as far as brass he's had it. So he goes into his house after. Right. Right. And. He's appears these on like, maybe the third or fourth floor of this place. Whatever it is, right and his windows. There's blinds. And I don't know if they got a drone. I don't know how they got this shot into the place because they would have had to go on out over the water and then shot in like, I don't know. He's inside his house watching himself on CNN. It's a great shot. It is. And it's on like if you go to. Any news outlet now. Now, they've ran with where it's just like holy shit. Spacey's just watching news stories. Couple ways to go with this. Right. Where you can either. Shrivel up die. Kill yourself kill yourself after everybody. What they're saying about you, whatever or you can just fuck and take the ride and just like, well, we'll see. Seats. I'll I'll do all these things. And let's see what happens. Raymond is January seventh. He's they've asked for him not to have to be there for the arraignment. There's been no decision on that yet. But you know, he'll he could be back in court here in a week. So we'll see. But the brass Bri the brass on this guy. That's phenomenal man..

I've heard those circles, but I don't have any grace fuck problem. But right, everybody everybody else says you're one of those that just Unicor. Yep. Magic. Perfect physique. Nothing is wrong with me whatsoever. I'm kidding really packed on the holidays. Always do. I think everybody does don't need number. We're on it. We're not. We're a camera show. You know, where it's on video where you're just like boy. Oh boy. But it's we're were the real people. Yeah. I don't give shit talk about labs. Just like us. We're just like you, by the way, speaking of celebrities. They found Spacey where Baltimore Maryland. Yeah. Think about that really really digest that. So not a weird island, France or anything like this. So yet again, the fake news can can the fuck in news, get anything. I mean, dead serious. Can they get just one God damn thing? Right. This year. That's my wish for for for twenty nineteen just get one God damn thing. Right in this year. That's just one. This story came out of New Year's Eve and they found him in Baltimore Maryland. I remember because we did a show about it. What am I gonna go lane site? We did a about a month ago. He was in. He's in France or he's overseas or he's out of the no he was in Baltimore. How did nobody seem in Baltimore though? So at the store something great question there's been rumors that it was him in like, I guess his assistant or an old manager. And even that, they got rum. I guess as managers been hanging out with them as old manager has been shopping for him and all that other shit. Look he looks a little and this is fucked up like the news, whoever caught his go go. We looked unkempt in out of shape if you're living, and you couldn't leave your fucking house for a year show. I'm sure it probably got the best of them at that point. But there was rumors. I guess that he was there in this. Baltimore thing in. Some rich. It was a six million dollar looks like a condo or townhouse. But it's on the water. It's it's rather odd looking okay. When you see it you'll be like, oh, it looks like a gigantic house boat full of condos. We're just like. Like that just kind of sits on the water in the weirdest. Yes. Looking. Have you been in Baltimore? I have not spectacular. I if you were going to other than the why have no exactly reason to visit except for to be like, oh that was the house where they broken those prostitute. Great crab. That's about it. Okay. Yeah. But Baltimore itself. And then once he got dropped. I was like if you're gonna hide out Baltimore's. Good place to do it. Fuck. Yeah. Again in plain sight. Well, they didn't go outside. But right, but you're not you're hiding in a. Yeah. We heard though, I would have thought I mean like so famous in the US would've thought neighbor somebody would have out there. Right. Did you you really did not leave at all? And that surely not. Look if Kevin Spacey walks outside in America. Yes. Specially in a rich s fucking. I guess there's only like eighty six residents or something. Like that. Like everybody knows Kevin Spacey. Fuck, you know, if they move Kevin Spacey into place someone's going to know someone's gonna talk. There's gotta be a busy body rich busy body around. They're crazy. Right. A Susan crazy. Yes. Yeah. Yeah. Allegedly. There has been people who've been chattering about it. But they nothing was confirmed. And they did ask like the manager few months back. Like, hey, can you confirm anything that's happening? Like he's been in. Baltimore is like I'm on man. Why would he be in Baltimore? Great response. All right. Great. Yeah. When you think about the same thoughts went through my head. Yeah. I would Spacey being in Baltimore. So we bought a six million dollar. Place on the water. He's been there. They found him. And he knew he went out for once. He was exposed of where where he was at. And it was the U K Daily Mail. Those fuckers are everywhere. They're the only real news. I think. Yeah. That DMZ right. "They may have tried to separate us. But we have to strong to powerful men after all we should everything you, and I I told you my deepest darkest secrets I showed you exactly what people are capable of. I shocked you with my honesty, but mostly I challenged you and made you think. And you trusted me. Even though you knew you shouldn't. So we're not done. No matter what anyone says. And besides I know what you want. You want me back? Of course, some believed everything and it just been waiting with baited breath to him. He confessed it all that just dying to have me declare that everything said is true in that. I got what I deserved within the be easy. If it was all so simple. Only you and I both know it's never that simple. Not in politics and non live, but you wouldn't believe the worst without evidence. Would you wouldn't rush to judgement without facts? Would you? Did you? I mean, and like for I guess for anybody who doesn't know like, you should go watch, Kevin Spacey's responsibility. Oh to formal are the criminal charges or is this. Charges and some being filed not directly addressing. Bam as Kevin Spacey. But releasing a Frank Underwood like he's in characterize Frank Underwood. That's long too. It's like, I don't know how many minutes, but it's not just like a snippet. It's minutes long of him doing just destroy Bill. That's relevant to his character. But also relevant to the fact that he's no longer on the show because of exactly what he's indicted for charged with now. But I it's it's just weird. I wish I could recall the language that he uses, but all he talks a lot about the characters that he's played through the year. So it's not just Frank Underwood. Right. It's like Kaiser SOS AA. And also the dude from seven and that dude he plays a number of capex. So we were talking about last night at all not necessarily ferris character in that one. But but a strange one, and I guess in a weird way this Frank Underwood defenses. Well, I've always played these very crazy care. Actors. I I don't even do a good Frank Underwood. I'll stop it's. Well, I've always done these very crazy characters in these very edgy cares. Where she think that came from. It's like putting it back on us like we accepted him in. Who are we to not accept him? Now, I feel like even just receiving this as of like number one. It's just the weirdest possible way to respond because it's not it's totally out of the human being of who you are who just got charged fully in character. And the response it self it makes the most sense if you were to imagine it as like the teaser video they run to introduce Frank Underwood coming back to the house of cards show, which have enough self would be kind of just a totally bizarre thing to have happened. But that's the only way that you would watch this like, okay, I get what this is is him sort of just, you know, saying they haven't gotten rid of me yet Neo. You saw me kill all these people on the show. But you know, I'm I'm coming back that would follow. Somewhat logically. But as a response to these real life accusations. It's just so weird and unsettling. Yeah. I think this is probably the end of the Kevin Spacey Rodman, and it certainly the end of my interest in ever watching any Kevin Spacey Mufi again. Yeah. I don't see how I could feel comfortable. No, no. He's moved into the Chris Benoit's realm for me of people who I used to really enjoy their work. But they've now done such horrible things that I can't actually go back and enjoy what they did. Even though I used to like, it, we even just the re the the way his this response in particular like he would always be the guy who we now know a lot more about what he was doing off camera. But the fact that he would respond this way, I mean, because you know, some people warning things ward of worst response in the metoo air race, the I think it's even close now at this point because he opened up with his opening salvo of..
