Your mind stole the thoughts but probably that yeah meditating when even now i don't do the twenty my mid twenty minutes meditation because they don't have time so it's like five minutes grabber where i can but also just excise excise even if it means going for a walk outside just carvings and time for yourself uniform last question for me just curious you know it's important that we fuel our bodies for these intense workout so honey what has been your tried and true <hes> nutrition as to your every day yeah i mean people. Ask me all the time. What do you eat. Do you wait. What do you eat and we're so we're gonna ask what you eat. Oh ban you know i when when i'm training properly the girls will know we workout for five six hours a day which is madness so we have to eat so much much more than the normal person you know. I eat a lot of protein. I know and i know jails vegan people here that don't wanna eat meat. That's fine right. Don't compare don't wants i this. This is the certain way that have to do it. "He can do that winning what would be a first step for someone that wanted to love themselves more and and change that talk. I guess the mirror what i chimera minutes is dislike act tonight before you go go to bed and he'd taking your makeup buffy wash face actually look at yourself like not down or somewhere else so you phone or scrolling that we've become. I'm this nation that just swipe squalls skull like like you know everything's instant gratification and i didn't know about you guys but it makes me feel shit when i look could instagram sometimes because everyone's portraying this. I'm fabulous. Look in my life and you know then. Not you know that's just that instagram picture that they've put on right so don't don't compare yourself to other people look at yourself in the mirror. Look truly look at yourself and say something positive and and believe it and i think that's your first mantra right. I'm a vision of health and beauty. My mom taught me that when i was like five years old and as my mantra since i was a little girl mma vision of health and beauty eighty so i say it to my son every night before he goes to bed but just trying to change the whole process. Pick a mantra say something positive. You've done compare yourself. My mantra is i am infinite love. That's my the thing that i like it speaking of social media. I just think it's it's so hard to just manage expectations manage your own perspective on the world and in and on yourself so you know you've you've been you've been doing it all really you've been on t._v. You have your studios rose. You have the app also incredible. It's just you're out there. You're out there and so so visible and and i'm sure it could feel vulnerable at times. So what have you learned. And what boundaries have you created around social media. I joke but i think it's like we should have a license to be on social media but i really take it seriously. I understand that i've been blessed to have a platform to speak to women and so i don't take that lightly an i try and be very responsible all about what i post. I think it's really important that you know. I have a responsibility parts real. I too have reeled talk and not just post something glamorous us you know or put filters on it or try and pretend to be something that i'm not and i know i get frustrated. When i see you know influences winces and now everybody's influence a like someone's got a six pack and they're an influence sir and they'd telling you had to do an exercise but they've never trained and they have uh-huh qualifications and it's it's it's frustrating because like one you probably injure the sun because they're going to follow these exercises and to it's like just stay in your lane and be you and and stop i. I didn't know it gets me a little bit frustrated. So i try and use my platform in a really positive resited way <hes> and of course sometimes someone writes something negative but i just delete it or block or on follow and move on you know it's like i don't partake in in the madness as you know that person's just seeing behind a computer writing something and they probably very unhappy in their lives but i think we can use social media in a positive light to promote wellness and health and and and try and stay away from the negatively if you can. It's hard. I know but try in just follow positive people. What would you say to someone who's nervous about doing a dance class either i i. I didn't know i mean if you see me <hes> teach she class or if he know me i just make a fool of myself and i don't care like i try and disarm the situation and just try and be <hes> i dunno funding funding crazy and i think that seem points thing is as long as you're not standing on someone smashing them in the face next year. You can be creative and do whatever you you want go. You know be joyous as you want but don't be afraid to do it like sometimes people come in and they're like the hottest thing is just getting in the room and once you're in the room and you've completed the cost like oh that wasn't too bad and you come back again so my thing i would say every body the first time they come to any of my shears. Oh try <hes> the app for the first time you know. Just try and do five minutes. Just stay in the room. Try and do it and the next day you do it. You're going to be even better..

"Then if she recommended workout so it would be like me inside the app saying okay linzie this is what you're going to do today and it seems like gives you you'll work out with the wool mop and a co down oh so that's one really cool aspect about it's like you have your own personal training with you so i'm telling you this is what i would recommend fee to do based on your objectives the beauty about this is you know we will have a favorite muscle group right a buddy pot that we we love at buddies like i could do abs foday's i just do apso day day but then i don't wanna do but i don't wanna do 'em so on other apps you could go just skip that or just skip those oh just look down on the library videos and just do the ones i wanna do but these recommended workouts i'm me telling you i know you don't like to make about and then you get through the workout and you have to rate it on based on the on the rating it will then give you the knicks recommended woke up the next day based on you know on your fate back another cool aspect is as customize workup so if you do want to just do ten minutes that's all you've got time full which is another thing that i always like to stress just you know ten minutes is fine if you've got ten minutes do ten minutes during ceo i went workout today because i didn't have time ten minutes is better than nothing but then you can choose the muscle group of what he thought that you wanna work out for that ten minutes once again with the wool mop and cool down and then the other part of the episode i think is going to end up being the most loved part of the most used is the live classes so right now every saturday you can join me in the west hollywood studio and do of fifty five minute live class with me cool literally like your thing ever like you the yeah and then you know then we'll have one from new york from la when from london this gdi's that we have.

"I i probably promote other workouts more than i do soul cycle to be honest with you i really hope bosses i don't i'm not not promoting soul cycle there in the room i usually always say like take this week you've come to seoul yeah a few times but like you have to balance yeah whether it's yoga we training you know a body by simone type class where it's more freedom of movement not just station around a bike like you cannot take five classes in a row yeah no one day because i gotta think about the simplest way to think about like cardio versus strength is you know cardio if if your muscles are a place to store sugar right because you have three tanks like your liver than ever muscles if you fill up your liver tank philip muscle tanks and whereas where the carbs go fat we talked about this on multiple other things so you think about that tank and it's like carbon loading into your muscles when you just do cardio it's like dumping that tank that muscle tank but when you do strength and when you're sore and when simone's i k pick up your weights and we're gonna use these weights and we're gonna do some ads and we're gonna like your legs are shaking and you leave sore and you're when you're actually sore after that strength training means that you've torn up muscles increase the space or the strength of that tank and so you can't just always be dumping your tanks of cardio is fine but like the minute that workout is over the only thing that you know that you've burned is whatever stored sugar is in that muscle versus strength training when you do the dance class or the tramp class and you're actually sore and you go to sit on the toilet or in a chair and you can barely sit down like there is something to speed said about that because you're strengthening that tank and you're making more space for more sugar and so excessive postage in consumption in the actual after burn of that class is longer than just a cardio so that's my only problem with like cardio junkies who never do anything that increases the strength of that of their muscle tanks.

"I i notice it yeah so that's really home notice it do noticed couple months but you know relationships have seasons about to be dead for your workout body by some like why do you think that it's the best workout i wanna talk about like different types of workouts for different bodies and especially for women like what workouts are good for them what types of training should they be doing if they want to look like long lane so of is to pops to my business is the class the classes the group classes where you're gonna get like four or five different varieties of class and then the private one on one training with it's really catered to whatever that client needs so yes i'm nine fidanza khadia but if i have a client that comes in and doesn't like to dance i'm not gonna make them dance so we will look at other ways of doing cardio with sue jump rope buddy wakes place of movement ply metrics on the trampoline and the classes you know yet up abode loa buddy fu body dents cut yo and and the trampoline i think to be honest i'm not gonna sit here and say might my workouts the best and you do this it's gonna give give you the best buddy because it's just you just got to excise a as a trainer i just won't people to excise so if that cycling view do it if it swimming do it if it's dance jewett you know you really have to find whatever connects with you whatever you like motivates you so i think you know i think people to work out but my method it's fun it's always mixing different sizes up challenging the body challenging the brain one thing that i do love and i do like to to promote about dance is that it's making you present in a workout like yeah so you know like sometimes if i'm on the bike or treadmill i can go off into medicine meditative state and south thinking about what i'm going to cook for lunch what i'm gonna do where with dance if you think about a cup of tea for sick and you're absolutely screwed because you've already missed the next step and you on someone going the wrong way so the bbetter is that keeps you a hundred percent present it's making you use your brain.

"To wake me up and now i'm either doing a fasted workout like teaching or eating like an avocado just keeping to those healthy fats and it i'm satiated until at least mid morning when all either do a smoothie or eggs with apple kado and either turkey bacon or something like that like a protein because i wasn't eating a lot of animal protein which wasn't making me feel great yeah i think for someone who trains as hard as you it really you know animal protein is a great source of b twelve it's a great source of vitamin d it's a great source of iron iron is what carries oxygen and nutrients to cells so when you talk about recovery you need all of that and it's a different type of iron that's in kale so a lot of times you just see people like on the internet will say oh pound of you know a couple of cups of kale is better than like four ounces of stake in it you know fine if we're just categorizing iron general what we're talking about different types of iron and like knowing that biology or knowing that how those things are different like he mired really translates to the iron in your body that can really fuel yourselves so recovery is super important when you're i mean for both smo an lindsey like you guys are training people you're you're working out not only are you working out to like hold energy and of the room and the space but you're doing it multiple times a day so i would say it's it's it takes a lot more work and a vegan vegetarians base it's totally do people to fuel people the right way if they're training that much but it's just a little bit harder yeah also incorporated more supplements so i was like deficient in vitamin d sweet did if i buy them in d with i think it's official omega three vitamin d yeah which has been really great because i noticed like my mood has changed a little bit just known would probably notice but.

"Oh acid and gives you need a certain ph low ph level to kind of seal off the speaker between your stomach in your safa guests so if it gets low enough that little flap closes really tightly and you have no acid that comes back up your schroeck but if you're stressed out and your acid production is low we can have acid reflux but it's really not acid reflux it's just an inability to create enough digestive juices to have that really tight closure and then on the piece of so we talked about like what to eat to work went to work out and stuff how many more calories like do you i know we're not really like a calorie counting group here but how much more can women be eating you know when they're taking your classes or they're working out six days a week like what do you guys think about that i we'll say there is something to be said about people who are really restricting the calories they eat yeah i think you know one of the things i'm known for doing as increasing someone's fat intake to increase their to make sure that they're not at a calorie deficit to make sure that they're requiring their body to metabolize more fuel and fats are really easy way to do that because fat doesn't release insulin and insulin is the hormone that blocks fat burning so we can upper caloric load without blocking fat burning and then all of a sudden you're challenging your body to not only in your workout classes but you're challenging your body metabolic leader say like no i'm not gonna you're not gonna get to a place where we're eating seven or eight hundred or a thousand calories a day like you want it you wanna fuel and then you want to train and then that training you know depending on what you do would give you more flexibility in your diet.

"What are you guys so the relationship between exercise and diet can you guys talk about that so you know talking about that related to overtraining related to how much you can consume if you're working out you know twice a day once a day or whatever like what are your thoughts on finding a balance with your food and the next or cise why would say food first and foremost you know we can start with protein for example because it's the first category of the fad for and i see drastic variations in people's protein consumption by have someone who's rav egan that might be you know forty grams of protein a day and the government's going to tell you that should be the minimum you know just to like maintain muscle mass and energy and i've you go to bodybuilding dot com it might say you should have you know two grams per pound of body mass now for someone like me if that's like two hundred and fifty grams of protein no way i'd be eating fourteen chickens dodge a lot of pro team you know so i think there are very asians in like what people need when it comes to to protein but i would say you know good rule of thumb there would be somewhere between like point four point five grams per pound of body mass and then if you're like a cross fit crazy weightlifting olympic weightlifter maybe you're pushing towards like point seven five or eight point eight but you know i think simply like looking at each of your meals breakfast lunch dinner what's like four to six ounces of protein twenty thirty grams perfect like that's going to get you what you need to recover i think there's like a whiz really big push back in the day that people needed all this protein and we don't need as much as as we thought but you need like a little bit of a balance and that's where it comes down to like your bio individuality so like simone just said you know maybe she's not going to sit down to a four goma before she goes in jumps around on a trampoline scrambled eggs on the floor you know what i mean it's like you have to.
