"This is without insurance You mean you have to pay for something, 'cause you're not French and you go to to get seek medical help. You? So you have to pay. You're paying. You're paying less than be paying with insurance here less than the copay here. Yeah, or the equivalent. It's I mean for doctor, but the doctor sees you for an hour It's twenty five euros. A hospital visit with an ultrasound, or whatever is about seventy five euros, including radiology in Euros. What is it now? Almost he to a dollar? It's about it's about ten percents, so a hundred euros is a hundred ten dollars all right so. So you're saying that you're getting an ultrasound in the hospital for seventy five bucks and a doctor's visit, which lasts an hour, not. Three and a half minutes. Is About Twenty five bucks. That's. And and when they shut down the country for three months here, they guaranteed. Everybody's wage is a eighty percent some more. They cancelled rent and mortgage payments. Cancel them. During the lockdown. And as a result. When things have started to. The. Restaurants haven't gone out of business. In fact, three new ones have opened in the area People have not lost their jobs for the most part. I mean there are some industries international industries. Where may be harder, but. In this part of France the local people are. Are! Working. Have Gotten through it. The cases have dropped I mean. That that they they all wear. Black lives matter INSIGNIAS, they they put it on their websites. I'm talking about places like procter and gamble. You know I'm telling you. I mean and they and they make these beautiful commercials about not just. Can't we all get along stuff? But like you know this has to change and and we have to be the change yet, but I don't think that the people on the street the young people. The black people, the people of Color. Are. Really about to. Be Hoodwinked by Corporate America in Wall. Street again. I think that we need to be thinking of ourselves. Not as Democrats and certainly not Republicans. But as the opposition. And we as the opposition have to consolidate our power and be wooed by the Democrats, but we have to stay independent of the Democrats, and I'm not talking about being an independent party. We Register Democrats so that we move the democratic. Party has far to the left as we can, but we have to think of ourselves as an opposition and organized coherent opposition, so that will still be the opposition after Biden's in in the White House, and that he will still have to woo us, and that we are not going to be fooled again and that we have got our views and we understand that. That, accepting the bill of goods that neoliberal liberalism has given us has just made every American below the millionaire class in debt. The in America. You either are very very comfortable, or you're desperate. And fifty percent of the country is desperate and more a higher percentage of young people are desperate, and certainly people of Color and black people, an indigenous people so. Our job is to consolidate an opposition mentality that has got a socialist ideology that has a Medicare for all a platform that it has a green new deal platform that cares about what we value because we value the future for young people, and for everybody and we got justice, so our job is not to be not to go not to. Not to. Base our political activity on relief. But on what we think is right in. That would not stop fighting until the country that arc of Justice Ben's to a decent place to a place that we all were promised and have have yet to see the country to live, and.

"All of us. Who are white acknowledged that? In how we've benefited from this system. and I think all praise to our younger people teenagers young adults who are out in the streets who are risking themselves to do this because I think these kids fighting on kids They've they're? They're fed up and they're done with and in you point out in this podcast that black and Brown people are so fed up. They. They've been told for, and they have tried for so long. They understand that white people are afraid of them, and so they're always trying dummy Obama talked about this in his in his autobiography of Before he became president he was, he was always aware what he walked into the room that he might be the only black person, and he had to work overtime to calm the white people down because they he saw the fear, and and he just took to such an extreme to where when he became president instead of just going for it, he wanted to get along with her obligations. He wanted to break Brad to come by. and. They didn't want any of that. They wanted they wanted the need his neck. And did everything they could to stop him in yet he still to this day he still seems like. You know maybe I just I wish there was something that he just can't be but But, it's but. It's clear. If you look all around the country. The. First of all this thing is being led. By black and Brown Americans and young white people? Have joined in in very significant numbers. Does that give you some hope or is this Yes, I know that I I I sound. A little. Freudian in this way when you know the Ford could not help it sound pessimistic, even though I he always tried to find something optimistic, even when he wrote civilization and discontents I. Believe that we are in. We are facing a showdown. That the next six months are the showdown for American. Democracy and I believe very strongly. That if our democracy is going to be saved, it is because it will be because of the mobilization. By black and Brown and indigenous people and Young people from every background in the streets That's going on right now because. Because they. Everybody is. Is Fed up and fed up. With dying and it's the black in the Brown. In the digits people who have been. Dying and Meanwhile the the young. Progressive Kids who were mobilized by Bernie and By the Progressive Movement's and our. And somehow seem to me to be. A free. Maybe it's because. Their. Position in society is so tenuous and they have been so screwed. by debt. And by having the future of the planet taken away from them that they don't even have the plus the they. They don't have the interest because they don't believe in playing the game because the game has. Taken away their hope, so if they're going to have hope, they're going to have to actually believe in completely alternative values, and that is the hope this there is an enormous amount of energy unleashed by what has happened because of a covert and global warming be what has happened in terms of the economy, people dying.

"The theme of the PODCAST is actually not it doesn't I. Don't Focus primarily on on trump's character, I focus on our vulnerability to trump's character and arvin related trump's character I I'm I'm arguing. is because we have. We! mostly white people. but not only but we have accepted the neoliberal value system that Reagan presented to us, and we have accepted the capitalist value system that neoliberalism magnifies which is that? We will find a we will find an economic or product or a consumer solution to all of our problems, ultimately, that means that we will not have to face death and loss and the limitation of our lives and The the I call the I called. Cova the the. I titled a podcast. The mask of the black death and I use pose the mask of the Red Death to talk about the reaction to this plague in the nineteenth century that Poe describes where people were people in power Deny. Death completely locked themselves up in the in a castle, put walls around the castle, and believe that they will be immortal, and that death will never enter, and then death seeps in they all panic, and they all die of fright and I. Make the case that that describes Republicans and Democrats that Republicans. Believe that if they lock themselves up in a castle, the country, the White House gated communities, they will be immortal, and that they are immortal, and that trump will lead them to immortality, and so they don't wear masks. They parade in packs with guns, and they believe that they can shoot. Covert and that it's all a fraud Democrats, and this is to your point about why Democrats lose. Democrats have bought the same idea that consumerist America that neoliberal America is a is a is a good will. Save them, but and so they don't worry about. They try to deal with their fear of death in a similar way, but what ends up happening to Democrats is that they're scared all the time, and so they don't react to coverted like it's A hoax, they react to co vid like it's death itself, and that it will seep in the doors in the walls on the male. It'll seeping on packages but the. But the interesting part about all of this, and this is what makes it relevant to the? The protests today. The black lives matter movement. I quote James Baldwin when he says White People are afraid of black people because white people don't believe in death and black people the color of their skin. Threatens them threatens their fantasy of immortality that they see death when they see black people and. I think you can see that..

And Maybe explain that a little bit because I found that. That discussion that part of this I guess really interesting in terms of of the racial element of this, and then, and what gets in the way of liberals like you know I've said you've heard me say this many times. The majority of the people in this country take the liberal position on just about every political issue and yet. Conservatives will call them control. the White House the Senate the Supreme Court most of the governorships must of the state houses They they they and of course, the economy and everything else. They have such a grip on this, and yet they are the minority conservative right wing. People are not the majority of this country. How is it that liberals have fucked this up so bad? Over the years when the people themselves of Said, we want what you tell us. We should have medicare for all we want. We want to clean and we want a good environment. We want this we want and yet they don't get it. They don't they want. The majority want a minimum wage that the living wage, and and yet we can't bring it to them, because we can't get our people elected and while you, yes. I've said this about Biden. I don't think that he gets unglued I. think that he organizes his strategy, and it's ruthless I think we have to be careful about thinking that. He's GonNa. Go Crazy I. I originally was hoping. "Or are also maybe born with a with this sort of Other way to look at things that there was a reordering of things. It's used. You're right I can I remember him when he was standing at the podium. They're bringing up the bleach in the ultraviolet light. And he kept looking over to the scientists. There were sitting along the wall the doctor off Ouchi and Berks and all the others he kept. We could do something like that. He looks at them because he doesn't. He's not. He knows he's not a scientist, but he's got a thought. and He's thinking. You Know I. Don't know how to do this, but hey, you guys work on it. and. And it was. Efren, senior podcast I just wondered how many times. Was a young Einstein. Told! that he was nuts. that that. Light can't bend that TAB or or jobs and Wozniak were thought of his to Kooks out in the garage. how many you know Y- you. The early reviews a Bob Dylan when he first came to New York. Some of them were so vicious because they'd never heard anything like this before. So people get scared of that? But but We. Don't we need to be? There is something dangerous though about trump's way of doing this, and yes, that's exactly right, and it's interesting. You bring up on Stein and yes I. was somebody who couldn't help himself, but think differently than others. But. There's a story that is that many people don't know about Einstein was also a pacifist and and really worked to to Stop War and the nineteen thirties he was asked by the League of nations if he would start a dialogue with another great thinker on the end war and he. chose. Sigmund Freud to have correspondence with on the question of whether it's possible to end war and he. Asked for he said. He asked Freud. To be a partner in this because he was interested in a relatively recent theory that Freud had developed, which is that there are two basic human drives one is toward integration and love and life. He called Eros the life drive, and the other is a drive to destruction and aggression, and and tearing things apart which he called. The death drive and Einstein wanted to know whether human beings would be able to overcome their death, drive, and and war and. This story is enjoyed was.

"So you know and I think he suffers from you know you think she's in good position sometimes and dumps the guy at the end where he thinks it's a legal block we gotta do a better job of explaining that to him he's got to do a better job of listening to the explaining and but I think you can. that is Vic Fangio on it Garrett bowls. and whether he is capable of cutting out the holding calls and I mention the poll question. while I believe that the lack of a pass rush is the biggest most pressing pressing problem on the Denver Broncos I feel like. Vic Fangio. and company are prioritizing gear bowls. a little bit or at least that's one of the things on the docket. because he would not take. the idea of moving don't Reisner to left tackle off the table. moving in to tackle period maybe liver will consent over left tackle Paul Reiser right tackle put Kerr bowls is guard whatever the case may be what do you want to roll it out but he did say that's why. they have I am gagging on his name because he's a backup but they had their carrying an axe to tackle for this reason that they would not per for to have to move don't rise or away from guard which makes sense because don't rise has been the best offense of linemen the Broncos have. through these couple of weeks. so I wouldn't want the Broncos to move them. but. I mean you got it. death is an issue on this line so if the if the guy you're gonna bring are off the bench to replace Kerr bowls is truly not better than him then how are you gonna get better results. instead of getting holding because you're just going to get Joe Flacco decapitated so I I don't know what's worse here so. I would like to see them if they feel like. Kerr bowls just isn't getting the message and they need to do something to send a stronger message that he needs to listen and get coached. I'd rather see them move him to a different spot on the offense of wine. then to seem benched and I would preferred that they moving to right tackle and not move don't Reisner from a place that is been very good at. but it does seem like this is a prove it game four gear polls are you taking our coaching we're gonna spend extra time with you mine checks going to be holding your hand all week on Sunday it's gonna be better or things may change. story number two. you get a chance to face one heck of an opponent this wake you know probably cuts I I I think the most complete mountain west conference team you know in the last seven years just tell stout they are defensively I think defense we've only I won't say opponents only like converted like fifty to seventy percent of their third downs their physical there faster experience than offense we have tremendous balance and have been very dynamic in the return game when it comes to special teams to. that is therefore say coach Troy Calhoun today. previewing the match up with Boise state. and he called this team the most complete mountain west team in the last seven years which if his timeline is correct and I got it. one thing I don't doubt try Calhoun on it is. why he says what he says if the the deliberate nature of what he says he said seven years it's because he's thinking about a team eight years ago that was better than this one. and we think it's the Boise state team that won eleven into that Callum more they had who might be the next hot coordinator to get an NFL head coaching job demarcus Lawrence one of the better pass rushers in the NFL play for the cowboys now Jamar Taylor is a very good corner in the NFL and then of course our old friend Matt Paradis all on that Boise state team in twenty twelve. so we think that's what he's. offering to what team played eight years ago but. Amanda this test and it. in Boise will. be perfectly honest here Boise is better than CO. Boise's a better football team in Colorado so it is a step up in competition and it's even more on friendly confines up in Boise. so this is an even bigger test we talked yesterday about what they see you win means for this program and it will ultimately be what this season is remembered for and it may get some one night to loosen the purse strings and it may get you to buy a few more tickets but when we're talking about what this. Air Force team can be this season the now. they got a win big gonna win on Friday for all of that other stuff all those other dominoes to fall they really have to back up to see you win with the win on Friday night and it will be did more difficult. because Boise is a better football team then CEO and not not only about our football team but a team that that understands their force absolutely understandable lot better than see you did is it play them every year and they they actually game plan for them a lot more than see probably absolutely. hi there was a time in the last few years where it seem like Air Force had Boise's number that is not the case anymore or maybe if they win this time then we'll look into will be like oh three the last four years or whatever it is but they certainly showed last year with Brett Rippin. that they were the better football team. but Air Force can win on Friday. but it will be an even bigger test for them and it's not hyperbole coming from Troy Calhoun he does go out of his way to. lift up may make every opponent seem like it's Alabama. but. everything I heard from in their checks out Boise is really good and their young quarterback is crazy talented. and to me that is the path for Air Force to win. I don't know that Boise secondary is as exploitable as C. use was but I do know that if Air Force can get pressure. on the quarterback and not come around like they did Stephen Montez. he is a freshman as talented as he is he is a freshman they can get to him they can make him make mistakes so to me vats how Air Force follows up to see when with the Boise when is they get to the quarterback on Friday. making a clean sweep all three stories about football here store number three well to second I gotta I gotta get ready to play a game and nothing nothing changes and get ready for Tampa out a way to get a win business as usual. okay why. okay body. so what you why this basically means that your career is over how are you gonna prepare this week seems every week. nothing changes for me. Pat Shurmur as announced that Daniel Jones will become the starting quarterback of the New York Giants Eli manning has been bands are you can't put that genie back into the bottle so Daniel Jones is the guy for the rest of the season which means effectively that you lie manning science careers over and do you really think at this point he's going to get on with another team so the reason I bring this up. is. in the last two days you have had one of the quarterbacks from the for class. injure his elbow and be out for the rest of season and Ben Roethlisberger. and I have some doubts about whether he's going to come back better than ever like he said he would be at his aides to get Tommy John surgery. is a little bit different than if he was twenty five years old. as many surgeries are right you don't know how the body's going to react when you're. older. still not old but older. so I have my doubts about whether Ben Roethlisberger is ever going to come back. as good as he was. now you eyes getting banks. and you look at that for draft which. for my life. yeah you could say for my lifetime probably the best quarterback class we have seen. in the NFL it's not better than eighty three. certainly not. but I have a hard time thinking of a nother quarterback class that was. as good as this one and you can him in hot about you I manning he did win two super bowls he's not better than band he's not pair them fill up but he is in his heyday a good quarterback a franchise quarterback. and that's three in the first round and we've discussed this quite a bit. because we have to talk about this with the Broncos. it is extremely were rare that there is a third franchise quarterback lurking in the first round that is very rare and now you look if Ben Roethlisberger. doesn't. get back to its previous level. any evil eye manning goes quietly into that good night retires after the season is over. Philip rivers will not only be the last quarterback standing from that draft class he may be the last man standing every first round pick around Philip rivers that year. is now either. out of the league completely or like you I am band are facing some major question marks about their future in the NFL and we always talk about Tom Brady and for good reason I'm not saying that we need to talk less about Brady but we need to talk more about Philip rivers. as you know who all also looks like he could play till is forty five Philip rivers. now say what you will about Philip rivers being this generation's Dan Marino and me he may be ultimately. remember to as that a very talented quarterback racked up a twenty yards Tonna touchdowns bad the end of the day just could not get his team. two and win a Superbowl and maybe that's how it's gonna be remembered but right now with what's going on with Ben Roethlisberger any lie manning I think. it's worth mentioning. that Philip rivers. is the last man so it could be the last man standing and he could be standing for a couple more years after this one you don't look like he's slowing down. two eight six zero zero four six is the tax line or you can call us five two two nine eight seven two got a lot of tax not many calls you could change the balance of that either.

"See from your office of tackle. Yep. Over thirty four insurance. Right. He had a great day practice one of most animated guys out there finishing. You know, all the stuff that office of lying is really like to see in terms of a week of practices. Right. They're still ethic. Movement concerns in the pick slide stuff, whatever. But he absolutely made his case replaying tackle when you know, beginning of the week, Jim Nagy saying, I think he's a center at the next level Rizza went and have three days of practice tackle. So he's he's definitely going to be a guy who I think the more spots your team measly off the line the more likely to drive rise early. I think he's still around one conversation sort of a guy. My my ranking semi into the senior bowl. My three best players were lynched. And a little bit of space than sweat and rising pretty close like three or four spot separate on the ward and rise outta gray day handling sweat in in the game. Man, reisner really really had a good day sweat. And so it's interesting because they obviously played in in the in the season the regular season and sweat wipe the floor with reisner sweat beat him. Most bulk Asians, those really curious to see to go back watch that game film, and then watch obviously the senior game or whatever I don't anticipate reisner being a guy from Philadelphia simply because he is a bit of a plotter. He's more power base. Walker Lynch from could be a guy they're looking for a guard for some they have to do whatever moving around us. I don't think risers gonna be that guy. We know Philadelphia did speak to a couple of offense tackles while they were there, but fun player entertaining player there scouted the way in when reisner walked off the stage. They might good player in do. Right. Which like is that a good thing or a bad thing? Like honestly for offense tackles, sometimes that's good thing in its. Because there's a story about reisner out there. He sees John Elway you know on the sideline forty yards away. And he sprints off to John Elway says, hey, man, I'm from Colorado just wanting to let you know, Tom trying to represent know dwell. Let's south and make sure that put my best foot forward for the. Garrels soft. Let me take his job. You know what I mean? Like, so reisner is a very interesting dude one that I that I loved and already touched on them, but it center Derek bradberry at NC state. If Kelsey were to retire tomorrow. I don't spec that he will if Kelsey were to retire tomorrow. Then I'm putting a big circle around bradberry. Because I watch him like I said I get flashes up Kelsey the way that he moves. He's not as great as a technician, I was sitting down with an NFC west gal watching some of the offensive line practice tape from day to an excess film room. And he said guy can move guy can do everything I wish he was more of a master technician saying about technician but saying for his size..
