Massive floods are affecting millions of people the world Rebecca cancers in Shanghai and says the worst hit areas are in the city of Zhengzhou and surrounding a non province in central China. Throughout the province. There's about 10 cities and urban and rural areas that have been affected, But because Zhengzhou is a city about 10 million, it's getting a lot of attention. And there's been a lot of footage on social media about about the situation in Yangzhou, but actually it's been around the region. So about 100,000 people had to be relocated because of the flood. And this has been going on for several days now since Saturday, So there's some really dramatic scenes showing up on social media. What have you been saying? One video that I got sent from someone? I know who's living there showed just how scary this kind of flooding can be. Yeah, yeah. Are you admire? Come on. I? Yeah, I don't know the woman filming this video. She's live streaming and she's pointing it at the street, which is just covered in water, and it looks like a river And she's saying Oh my gosh, there's a father and his child that are just swept away swept right down the street by by the floodwaters, so she's just yelling at them. Please get to hold on to something, but there's nothing that they can hold onto. And the water is about the level of the hood of the cars on the side of the street. But the video that I've been seeing all over the Internet is this one, which was shot in one of Guangzhou's subway cars on Tuesday night, are you Uh, here, you know, Jamal, what's going on there? Rebecca? What's happening is you're seeing the inside of a subway car. Everybody inside the subway car is sort of grabbing onto the strap hangers and the water is all the way up to their chest almost up to their shoulders. It's dark in the subway car, and it's just very scary because you can imagine they were there for several hours before they were able to be evacuated out and 12 people died. That's

I would be an elected official in here. I am now you know. The state treasurer of wisconsin and it was because scott walker was trying to get rid of the state treasurer's office. I'm in two thousand eighteen. There was this constitutional amendment that he put on the ballot. Because you know. Rebecca hilly who needs checks and balances in government. I mean firing your chief financial officer then giving those responsibility to your ceo. I mean we would never do that in business. So why do we think that the government. And i've found myself leading a constitutional amendment to save the treasury office. They believed wisconsin state treasurer. When that happened we won that amendment by the way with sixty three percent of the vote. Which as all of us in purple states know that is a landslide. Victory and still. The question was well. Who's going to run for it and I i remember my grandma. Act was thinking about her. When i was debating what i should do and she she said about public service she was actually harder. Study: Climate Change and High Tides Will Cause Record Flooding in 2030s

"Change and abnormally high tides will coincide. Climate change is causing sea levels to rise. That means more flooding during high tides. The East Coast and the Gulf Coast of the U. S. Are already experiencing hundreds of so called sunny day floods each year. Scientists at NASA say the problem is likely to get even worse. A new study predicts that high tides will get an extra boost starting in the mid 20 thirties. That's because there's a little bit of wobble in the moon's orbit. And when that wobble brings the moon a little closer to Earth, it amplifies the high tides. The wobble isn't new. It's normal, and humans discovered it back in the 17 hundreds When you add the wobble to climate driven sea level rise, it means even more title flooding for many cities in the US next decade. What Can Companies and Individuals Do to Encourage Equity?

"Today. We're going to be talking about how to make race and gender equity standard business practices in aviation joining me. Today are bird guests. Who's the president and ceo of the racial equity group. And dr rebecca kaiser who is the chief of research security strategy and policy at the national science foundation burden rebecca. Welcome and thrilled to have you on this podcast. Thank you thank you so much to get us started bird you recently used. The term escalators at the women in aviation program on race and gender equity. Would you please explain what that is and how it works absolutely are so. Our society is composed of social structures and these social structures like just the the core components of our society that allow us to function families and social structure. Housing is a social structure educational system. These are all social structures. They're really allow us to advance life liberty and the pursuit of happiness. Now you know. In a racially society how we are positioned in the social structures unfortunately is based on race and a lot of it has to do with pass discriminatory policies and practices. But even in today a lot of present policies is still kind of maintain that just not an a an openly acknowledged way where it seems like people are being raised or discriminatory as let me give you one example in our housing social structure which is very very critical. Let's think about how did people become positioned or situated in the social structure. I'll give you one so let's go to one example White americans today typically live in communities we know based on research that about seventy percent white blacks living community about fifty percent black. Now why is that well. Some of that we know is personal preference. Some of it is income people. Just don't have the money to live in certain communities but a lot of that has been discriminatory policies such as red lining the beginning of the nineteen thirties. They significantly Shaped in and and situated our cities and our communities all across the country along racial divides

Social Studies Teacher Gains 1.5 Million TikTok Followers

"Rebecca rogers is a social studies teacher who witnessed firsthand the mental health impacts the copay lockdown had on students when schools closed in march twenty twenty. She saw a slow deterioration of their wellbeing as the months went by she became desperate to find ways to better connect with them but it wasn't until late october that she decide to do something about it. What was that. It was to meet them where they were already hanging out. That's right it was time to sign up for tiktok. Rebecca made an account on the wildly popular social platform with a plan to make a fool of herself for her students enjoyment. Those are her words. Her logic with simple. If they could see her acting ridiculously they might get a little extra cheer for a day. What was becoming an increasingly tough year. She felt she could do that with a few silly videos. The idea came from a colleague who had already chalked up four hundred thousand followers together. They made rebecca's first video and since tiktok was famous for dances. That's where they started to find a popular song. Rebecca spent time studying up on tiktok for you page. This is a little bit like a dashboard for users. At the app there you're inundated with recommended videos and crucially for rebecca. You can see what's most popular. She washed to get an idea of what was trending with the assumption that she could piggyback off those themes to create her first dance video within days of posting it. Rebecca had passed the test. She earned one thousand followers. She knew a lot of that was driven by her own students as well as family and friends. The kids at our school thought she was famous but neither they nor rebecca had any idea what to come for the first few weeks. Rebecca committed to posting three fun dancing videos per week. Her account quickly grew to over ten thousand followers and she started to feel like she might be onto something could her tiktok efforts turned into something more than fun distraction for her students. As an added benefit that ten thousand followers mark also lets users sign up to the creator fund. this is tech talks way of sharing revenue with successful users.

Should An Older Stepchild Never Have To Babysit

"Are your thoughts on a sixteen year. Old step stepchild. Being asked to watch a step sibling we their parents wanna go out for an evening. But the older sibling doesn't want to babysit. Is it reasonable for our sixteen year old to never have to babysit just. Because they don't want to. Rebecca what do you think all right. So why would you want someone with your kids who doesn't want to be with my first question. It's just not a good. I mean so. There's a couple of things going on here. One is the way you're making it sound. It does not sound like you're planning on paying for this babysitting time. It sounds like you need to watch your younger sibling. And it's just going to be a thing you have to do just like emptying the dishwasher mowing the lawn or whatever so that's one thing which you might want to reconsider putting money in the equation because it might help second. There's a a a step dynamic here which is one of the reasons why i think this question is interesting. Because there is a sort of built in expectation. I think for older siblings to watch younger. Siblings in non blended families you know but even then sometimes the older kid is like. I don't wanna do that. And i just have to be honest with you like if they don't wanna do it and it's a step it does add a layer there whether you feel like your family is fully integrated or not. There is a layer sort of inherent tension with kids and their step parents and step siblings. And you know. I don't know if you're sixteen year old might be thinking like hey i have other stuff i wanna do. I wanna be playing video games. I wanna be chatting with my friends. I wanna be secretly watching porn or whatever it is your sixteen year old. Wants to do or if they're thinking like this kid isn't my responsibility like i don't want to do that. I didn't sign up for this so the thing that you should remember either in both situations the non wanted family blended family but especially the blended family is that it's not your older kids fault. You had more kids to the expectation that they will want to do this. Labor on your behalf needs to be set. You know a little bit differently. Needs to be negotiated. If they're not all gung ho about it you might want to pay them. You might wanna make it the same kind of extra work incentive the same that you might do if if you normally hire someone to mow your lawn and then your kid does it one week. Maybe you'll throw a few bucks just because you have established that that work has

Did You Know Females Have a Prostate? Sex Educator Deborah Sundahl Explains

"Let's talk about the clitoral orgasm versus the g spot orgasm. How would you describe them. We'll first of all g-spot is the female prostate that female prostate surrounds. The re throw canal. It starts at the outside opening of the body. And it's thirty two ducks. Glands are sprinkled along the eureka three canal about two inches so therefore because you're re throw canal and the vaginal canal share the same wall that means you can easily access prostate through the roof of the vagina. You can easily feel it. It literally hangs down through the roof of the vagina. it's a prostate. It's not the clitoris. The clitoris is primarily erectile tissue. We have the little knob on the outside of the body. Full of nerves. But as feminists healthcare a nurse's rebecca shocker and susan gauge and nineteen eighty to redefine the clitoris. They said hey. It's not just the little knob on the outside of the body. That feels so good. It's actually erectile tissue that extends four to five inches inside the body. They thought these women were not strict. Fifteen years will now. They've seen this structure in the

I Got My Driver's License Last Week on My iPhone

"Here to talk about the arrival of digital driver's licenses is recode's rebecca. Hi awhile rebecca. Hey so what is a digital driver's license in how will this new system work. You've probably been hearing a lot over the past few months about digital vaccine passports and serve saving personal information on phones and in phone apps so you should sort of think of that as the foundational technology but this will work a little bit differently primarily. Because it's the information that would be on your driver's license so imagine an app or part of an app that contains all the information that would be on your physical driver's license. That's actually now inside your phone so it would kind of look like physical. Id but there would be potentially some big differences so instead of just a stall photo it might be that digital's license includes a moving image kind of like those live photos on your phone. So it's you know kind of a digital version of what you already have. But it's way more than a screenshot and this is kind of similar to something that we've been seeing a lot more lately digital credit cards like i've been paying with apple pay a lot more in the pandemic. What else can you do with digital wallet is. They're going to be other stuff in there too yet. It really seems like companies like apple. Want to have control over everything that would have once gone into a physical wallet. People are paying for things with credit cards that are stored digitally on their phones. People are able to open their cars now with digital apps and even going into their homes with that so basically everything is kinda being transferred and condensed into these apps. I know i've started using public transit by using a phone and things like that so people are really making that transition.

Google Assistant's Rebecca Nathenson: Come Join the Voice Shortcuts Party

"Back in twenty sixteen. We first introduced google assistant because we wanted to help people get things done and we knew that letting them just ask for what they wanted in plain language was the best way to do that since then google assistant has grown to be available in over thirty languages ninety countries and on more than one billion devices hundreds of millions of people every month. Use the assistant to get things done on all kinds of surfaces from mobile phones and smart displays. Tv's cars and more my four year old talks to pretty much everything with a screen expecting to answer and our developers are crucial. Part of this growth. The google assistant team can't build every imaginable capability that our users need those hundreds of millions of users have millions of interests the developers just like you can deliver on for my son's favourite games to our families video chats to that perennial favourite in our household. How to Negotiate With a Narcissist With Rebecca Zung

"Find yourself a lot of time saying what is it that they want you know. And that is the flaw in the design when you are negotiating with a high conflict personality. Because is they're not looking for a resolution. They're getting narcissistic supply from watching you. Squirm from jerking around. Moving the goal posts seeing you be intimidated. That's the payoff for them. So when you're sitting reasonable person sitting on the other side going. What is it that they want. I'll just give it to them. Well go ahead and try to give it to them. And then they're going to be moving the goalposts and they're going to be saying well now that's no longer the deal and i changed it because you did this. You waited too long. Whatever they want to stay because the end game for them is that there is no end. And so that's Flon thinking of a reasonable person right from the get go So you have to understand that narcissist actually the easiest personality on the planet to understand their only driven by one thing and that's narcissistic supply. What is what that is anything that feeds their ego. So nurses have no inner sense of value. I always stayed there like the hollow. Chocolate easter bunnies like they look nice on the inside. They have nothing going on him yet. You know announce it look nice but nothing on the inside so you you have to remember that. There's like a hierarchy of supplies of them and great a diamond level supply for any narcissists is image. How do i look. I look to the community. How do i look people i respect. How do i look to people that. I think are more prestigious than i am Somebody that i want something from my please. My coworkers workers you know you name it but image is always gray number

How to Negotiate with a Narcissist and Win with Rebecca Zung

"You have a lot of experience negotiating with narcissist and you've also you've already shared a lot of tips tools tactics and different things. But what's a secret like what's one big secret to negotiating with narcissist. It will be really helpful for us to know. i already told you about narcissistic supply. So but it was in the narcissist brain in their world. They and they don't even consciously think about this but they have. There's a hierarchy of supply for them so there is a form of supply that ville keep. They'll protect they'll do anything they have to to keep. And that's usually wrapped up in how they looked to the world how they looked to people. They respect how they looked to mediators. Judges lawyers anybody in the process. It might be their employees. it might be their employers. It might be neighbors friends. It really doesn't matter. But there are certain people out there in the world that for the narcissist they will do anything. They have to to maintain their facade of looking perfect. Wonderful wonderful in front of those people. Then there's what i call it. The diamond level supply. And then what. I call the coal level supply which means it burns it gives them energy and of course they wanna keep it. It's definitely valuable for them. But that's the supply that they get. That i just explained to you. In the negotiation with a are jerking people around and controlling the process and making everything difficult all that sort of thing so that really. The key is building a strategy and leverage that actually threatens a source of narcissistic supply. That's going to be more important for the narcissistic keep protect and retain than the supply that they got from jerking you around and making you miserable and the key is going okay. This is going to happen. You're going to be exposed and therefore they'll have to let go of. It won't be worth it to them anymore.

Breaking Through the Male-Dominated World of Tech With Jo Lambert

"One of the things that i think we we both know. And many women no is the lack of women in executive positions It's finance especially in technology. So what would you say you did to cut through that technology ceiling. I should say And really thrive as a leader. So one thing that i think's really interesting about actually all of the women in in technology finance and other industries that are predominantly male dominated. I think the thing that really is most interesting is. It's not one thing that defines or creates the opportunity for you to be out of cut through. It's it's a series of decisions and the various people that you meet that you interact with that actually ultimately shaped my experience in a in my and looking at other other colleagues and other women who have been successful they share similar stories. You sort of can create these different opportunities to loan and try new things. And i think there's a couple of pieces that contribute to that one is creating that Network of trusted advisers and supporters. Who you can bounce ideas off to is not being afraid to crowd source for ideas and recognize that you most things that you encounter at work actually in life someone else's sold before so one thing that i i wish i'd learned earlier. Is that power of crowdsourcing and the power of asking people how they solve problems like whether it be making a decision or getting a job or asking for an expanded role or responsibility all the way through to handling challenging. Hr problems or you know difficult relationships with teammates and things like that so i think that building that network is really critical and being confident enough to utilize it and as i said a crowdsourcing is something that i learnt probably about ten or fifteen years ago. I wish i'd done it. When i was younger.

Examining the Details of the Rebecca Zahau Crime Scene

"So let's get back our timeline around six thirty in the morning in that range. Adam said he got up showered and then he approached the main house to see if rebecca wanted to go get breakfast before they headed to the hospital at this point atom alleges that he found rebecca hanging nude from the balcony from a rope around her neck. Her ankles were bound together. Her wrists were bound behind her back. She was gagged with a long blue sleeved shirt that had also been wrapped around her head and the arms were double nodded and stuffed inside your mouth. Otherwise the only items on her person were a black bionic band and a yellow live strong band on her left wrist and a power balance band on her right wrist. Yeah i don't understand how they thought. This was a suicide because just being gagged with a long sleeve shirt. I don't understand why someone would do that to themselves. And this just all these intricate details that don't add up to someone who supposedly just ready to end their life but they're taking the time to do all these things it just to me. It doesn't add up. I definitely agree with that. I think so much focus is on if she could have done all of this herself and not so much on the but why would she even if she could technically have bound her own hands stepped through the bindings. Got him behind her. All of the steps it takes to prove she can do it. We're not focusing enough on. Why would she now hurt. Doesn't make sense. I agree totally agree.

"On climate. That we were in right now has been just kind of like. I said earlier. A debbie downer. Because i don't wanna. I don't wanna bring the focus on that but there's so much opportunity within that to go all right. Tell me about that person and let me see how they are. Because there's love in there. And i want to see it and you'll it can be captivated by that and i'll tell you you guys. You're an amazing dynamic. Duo who is really you can stand. I just love and you just well onscreen together just like you do right here behind the scenes and this is something that is really often people don't realize how something can be forced and you guys don't force it at all and it's you you can see why also is that a slow let it. Well i absolutely love it. Let's ask you guys before. I have the audience start connecting with you aside from what they're connecting with you here. What is the biggest challenge working together as a family. And maybe don't wanna share. We want to so this challenge will on getting you swim out. Stephen had to teach me not to separate personal and business. Occa- no in your business should not miss messed together when you're dealing with business business and then at the end of the day that we can talk about it. We have a problem. We talk about it together but that was the basting that had seen over was not wanting personal business not to take your soul to heart has to get on eastern time with his for businesses for me to get better. Yeah you know. That's saying that is something that we should be able to also utilize even in some parts of our personal world because oftentimes are being. We look at things as criticism instead of constructive ways to make something better and if we can just kind of go okay this is. This is being used to help me feel my full potential enemy embrace it and oftentimes ago man. That's my pride and i need to go. I don't know what to ask but it's like. Oh gosh why you but then you go okay and when you raise it boy does dislike of something you didn't even know. Was there because now you have a combination of past experience as future experienced your onsite like when you're acting or given circumstances and then you can make that magic is happened in it's all just like bam it just rocks that way. I'm really glad that you shared that. Because that is something that i think the audience can take to heart to and go. You know what. I don't always have to be offended because someone is making a informative choice to tell me a way to do something that might help boost me up. May know and so exciting announced next to how boost up nasa hokey. Because for me. I mean just to elaborate briefly on what she said. I concur with that because that was the hardest thing in in. Thank guy for my sister. Her mom who taught me she was. She had to coach me because she used to be for his issues. Are free delivery times. I would say okay clearly not finishing the song today. Young all identified by the for his sister. What happened in this. I got this so she would handle that this. She say i'm gonna call you that later. I can teach you is so she would teach me so. It helped me in that snyder so as the guy for school. Yeah i do. I do as well. It's really neat. When we find out our learning styles or the learning styles of somebody else can you can. Then say okay. There are more audit auditory learner. So if i tell them they're going to embrace this maybe there are visual in. Have to show them okay. This is the way that this can project this way. And we understand just those basic things. We have less conflict. And it's kinda cool. But i'm glad you pointed that out both of you because this is something that i think. Not only everything about what we've talked about before the audience can embrace that w maybe start taking a different perspective on certain things that are happening and apply it and there are more so i spent a thank you guys both for everything that you're doing. You are really providing inspiration and motivation and a new breed of excitement in everything that you're doing. I felt it. And i was just i told you from the beginning are repeated. Just being focused in that you know yes recognize not deny what's happened but then being able to pick up those pieces and say you know what it's time to move forward and so that's what i would say whatever it is to chill wanting to do. Just remember how some likely dance but don't let it hinder you from accomplishing whatever. It is that you want to accomplish. Move forward always four. I love that. I really love that. Because you've said something that. I think most of us in life can relate to that. There's been a bump in the road. We've had a speed. We've had a setback and then we go. What do i do with it now. And i wanna share with the audience because this is something that especially with the times that we live in right now we can live in limiting beliefs. And i want to say that if you're listening or watching right now tried to set yourself with unlimited belief system and if you need a support system tracy and i are here to help you and empower you to do great things. It doesn't matter where you have been at in life. We we can work with you to encourage you monitor eight. You inspire you. The one thing. I like to share to based on what you just said is that we can start now so easily right now feels like everything just came crashing down. And let's just start now or maybe something just rash happened in your like. They're still going to be a whole bunch of pieces that are gonna get shattered on the floor absolutely now. Let's start the clean-up right now and making things back salute. That is he. Yeah we gotta just keep saying. I'm just going to keep moving forward like you said and keep focused like you said that is just absolutely crucial to not letting all of those things clutter our lives in be limiting in our thoughts and our belief system because when that happens we do we get stock and and you're absolutely right once. The drain stopped once that vision or that goal stops. That's literally stops so we have to pick up like human. I love what you mentioned. Rebecca about those pieces. There might be some shar peace you know and we can learn from those sharp are adults. Those sharp pieces that Shad we can learn and those are cools that we can even put it in our toolbox for later but the the goal of the mission is to continue to move you know. Pick up those pieces like you mentioned. Pick up those shop pieces because they're going to be teaching.

Did you embrace? Me As a person, but you just ended up bringing out a lot because of the things that you had just in your inner spirit, and one of the things that you shared was your history, and it was your family traditions, and not just how genetically made you were? In. The artistic abilities that you had, but just traditionally in family traditions that you had that. Many of us don't have anymore. Because of just how fast pace we are, it was really very inspiring. Can you tell me a little bit just about your your family traditions now and then I wanna talk to you more about all of the things that you're doing. Okay. I guess when you're seeing tradition. Austin feel a little bit less out you know and that's to put it politely say been talked over. I've been talked down to I feel done and that just is not okay you know. It's about a standard of care. And that's what it is that we're trying to do with this company. Life Life with our winds is create a standard of care that the industry recognizes then also make sure that there are advocates and people influenced ours in the communities that are reaching those women that kind of vein in the marble that are there that are valuable for whatever reason they just feel not. They just intimidated to walk in the room. That has a bunch of men in it and so we want. We want to change that. "Just began to come to fruition all life experience along with things that I had learned an inner things that I mean just all of this. It's kind of like as a child when you. I have a child who work at these certain developmental stages at six months. They're going to do this and at one somewhere around one. They're gonNA start walk years. He didn't take their first step and I don't think that any other age in life the milestones that we do things and so it seems a really interesting that you said twenty eight because it seems like. That's it's going to work. Click for me too and if I think about it and I look at others. That at at that age is seems like life does different things and Watson's differently at that time that age tends to be a lot where people decide aside to start following a passion aside from their day job to win a lot of people start to realize that their day job is not their passion. When they start to get the unfortunate disillusionment? Don't get me wrong. Like jot jobs are necessary. Folks folks we all need a job. Idle hands are the devil's playground to go back to my literally. My my two weeks with like my son Here in the last two weeks since I've had downtime and not been on the road have been manic. 'cause I don't know what it's like to not be busy busy so while he sleeps. I hop in the back and code website or I've I built a bunch of trigger boxes 'cause I had the parts and and nothing else to do so I built like mad Okay so without me. The audience won't know what a trigger boxes and we've got a separate that from something really scary that could happen so granted It it it is what it sounds like. It's a trigger box. It's it's it's a sequencer but it's more for like fireworks I'm actively working right now. Rebecca I'm getting ready to turn forty four and I can't be quoted quoted on air for this yet because I'm still working on it I have a stuntman friend of mine. Who is who is a A professional daredevil hire and I'm a I'm literally be looking at being put on fire on purpose from forty fourth birthday so I was like if I'm going to do a full body burn and do like this stunt man thing and have myself set on fire for my birthday. Hey I'm going to build the box. That doesn't so yeah. Yeah Yeah I'm still working on it. I don't know if it's going to happen but it's it's one of those bucket list things. I will never ever jump out of a plane. I will never ever climb Everest because of my Acura phobia white..

"Biz talk me through it again Hobbes's worked for me because at the end of the day what we want for every investor Rebecca is to see with their on approach or cording to the way that we really need to know so that you can begin moving forward this is what we do is share information to help you burn a former direction definitely want you definitely want you'd have all the tools on your belt to help Oh you just successful as you want to be for tuning in I asked you share this with your friends your family those that you know and also those that you don't this is rebecca sounds reveille uh-huh welcome to Rebecca Sounds Reveille I am really excited today because I have got someone who has a really incredible background I've got to tell you with me today is an actor and director and you may already know who he is because he's been featured I s sees yes comedy while you may already I know who he is l. p. green is with me today he's been on the Big Bang Theory yes he has been on season three and season four he's also Oh director of the is Wolf Queen and he's going to tell us a little bit more about that because it's a pilot and all over social media right now and more not only that he has an exclusivity with the Pasadena Horror Film Festival and even more than that his background is absolutely incredible because he has been all over and he has a lot of education in west doing and I want to bring you on to share more about the bill that he has going and make things that he's done so welcome to the show Careen I am I'm jazz absolutely delighted that you're here today I've been so excited to talk to you because you have got an amazing background with things that you've done because Brady's started out in your childhood and we're led to is absolutely Louis incredible I mean you you started out from what people was as kind of a backwoods town then you go to these big and Dan you become educated in La Hoya which is a very prestigious area of San Diego County which is in California most people decayed in that area really is high honors and then now you're doing things from all of the things that you've acquired life and been able to turn into the things that you have found interest in based on everything that you have been exposed to have learned about and we want to hear about it talk about it let's let me just ask you this if just it really kinda slate everything how did you go from just a kind of a small town into the big time here Wow oh well on my mother we grew up on it like my mother is likes Gypsy like were Illinois Peoria I was born in Second County Springfield Roy lived in like Murfreesboro I grew up in carbondale that's that's like my main upbringing an Illinois Medalla Illinois the fields apartments and then from there my mom to California it's so funny because when you hear someone say took us to California it reminds you of the great migration you know they took us to Californian opera going you're thinking of I don't know Kelly history and things like that and you have done it you are you are making history right now actually with the things that you're doing and let's just let's talk about your film I because people know you they know who you are from your the seasons on Big Bang season three and season for also an a theme probably nine other movies just you'll bit parts you know small speaking roles bit-part here small speaking role here Stunt stunt job here you know getting pushed around our our our stop or small role but then I was like I wanted to show Hollywood what I can as an act Jerry you know I started very young acting back in is you know one of the things I wanted to be sorry directed fight films was the show what I can do so how did you start doing stunt roles stunt work yeah well I I studied martial arts for a very very long time what twenty years twenty thirty years and martial arts and then when I came to La You know pretty much I started like doing from extra from around up this show where Doing doing stunt workshops where I had to learn how to take martial arts spill fighting and to learn how to you fight for the camera you know 'cause God forbid you know you hit one of the main actors Yuk Martial arts they're not trained to miss so I had the we retrain my body to miss and ensued work like you know so that's a lot of disparity because when I know from the training that I've done you do is you train so when you're used to doing something and you've got a now kind of make adjustments and these are big adjustments you so that that is a lot of work on your part to separate the brain from the body in comparison to what you had been trained to do before so that that is a lot of undertaking for you to do so then you move on and here you also had your character is Jamal and have one quite an honor with this role Oh yeah I want supporting actor the film festival the Indie Film Festival Yeah we won African American film and again this is a horror film so that was kind of really really cool and I won best supporting actor you know so really happy about that award because that's one of the main things I wanted to show by doing a pilot in a and you you found your interest in horror about what time in your life Jeez ovarian very young it was kind of forced onto thinking forced into early force but let's just I'll just tell you quick story back in the eighty my mom will go out working partying or doing whatever she did she do she was sent me with the key around my neck in front of move up front the the VCR Roy way we wait I mean people know about last the kids and what is known as a VCR you gotta win from blockbuster that's right as I gotta go weird here because a lot a lot of those little those little videos stars over time US consider child abuse Joe True and even the transition going from these videotapes and new DVD's goes little video stores were not G. rated PG stores anymore they were kind of weird stores but this was.
