Is Calling fraud allegations quote Nikola, which went public in June through a reverse merger has come under scrutiny. Since Short Seller Hindenburg research released a report earlier this month accusing the company and Mr Milton of making exaggerated claims about the readiness of Nicholas Technology, and how much of it is proprietary doubts about the company's readiness to produce vehicles and questions about its claim to own proprietary technology have prompted US securities regulators and the Justice Department to investigate whether Nikola misled investors. The Wall. Pro-Trump youth group enlists teens in secretive campaign likened to a ‘troll farm’

"In the race for the White House with a pro Trump youth group enlisting teens to place messages online National political reporter Isaac Stanley Becker takes a closer look for the Washington Post and talked with our Bill O'Neill. Isaac. What do we know about this campaign and how it works? So what we know is that teenagers in the Phoenix area, including some miners, some folks under 18 18. Were enlisted this summer in an effort to plaster pro trump messages across social media, so thousands and 1000 tweets and Facebook comments with identical content nowhere in any of this, disclosing that people posting this material we're being paid to do so is part of a centralized in coordinated operation. Now, Of course, there are groups that link themselves to all kinds of ideologies and various candidates. What do we know about the group behind this campaign in particular? So what we know that it's it's over? Seen by a group called Turning Point Action, which is sisters before of better known turning Point USA, both led by Charlie Kirk, a 26 year old conservative activists. Very close to it that the Trump family he opened the Republican National Convention give the opening address there has been called a great friend by president That's the sort of group behind the scenes, and there was a more specific also, if UNIX based digital firm that was brought in to oversee the day to day of the posting in the vast, urging the coordination have we've seen anything like this in political circles before, So, of course, there are parallels in terms of political activism, You know, Astro turf ING efforts to Make a campaign or cause anymore grass roots or viral than it really is. But what is unique here and what experts are really tryingto understand and describe is the way in which the tools of social media and you know it's technologies are allowing users to do this in a way that you know, as I said, it makes it seem as though it's genuine. Um, sentiments of these young people when, in fact, it's being coordinated behind the teams in a way that's unseen because of the lack of disclosure that was going on here, so and that's why it's been like into the kind of troll farms that were run by foreign After is, you know, we get up to the 2016 election where you have paid people. Working from an office posting spam like material on Twitter and other platforms here. Of course, this is happening domestically in the U. S. Has there been any reaction from the online platforms such as Facebook and Twitter? There has been so both Facebook and Twitter responded when we brought this material to them and ask them questions. They've already removed a number of the account involved in it. And we're waiting for more answers about possible further action. And has there been any any reaction from the Trump campaign or even the Biden campaign at this point, not the campaign that I have seen s so this is a pro Trump organization. But of course, it's formally stepping from the campaign. So you know there's there's many share interest and there are You know, associative figures, But this was not being operated by the campaign per se. The Oregon Fires

"Latino Rebels Radio Latino. Rebels. Radio Julia Regard Novella here in in Sunday September thirteenth twenty twenty and we are back and you're listening to us on audio boom stitcher, spotify apple podcasts, or wherever you get your podcast. We've been following the situation in the West regarding these historic wildfires. The images are just tragic, and actually I have a guest in Oregon Nydia Alycia who reached out and said I want to talk about the situation and you're on Hello Nadya. Hey Thank you so much for having me and for giving me an opportunity to share a little bit about what's going on I'm doing the does the I can be in. The worst. nightmare that don't ever wish on anybody right now. So Why don't you just break it down because obviously people see the images, the hear the voices by this is your opportunity to this is your mic tell me your situation what's going on how whatever you WANNA share. What's going on in Oregon? It's been really disheartening to see some of these. You know this is a tragedy. By all means this is a nightmare, but I also just want to share that our community even though we've been the most impacted. We are also like incredibly resilient. So many of the families that I've seen my relatives my best friends family anytime. I've checked in with people that I know I grew up here I was born and here. You. Know are people are so concerned about other people you know even though there are folks right now families who are staying at their relatives or co workers or friends, and it's like fifteen people two bedroom they're still you know like, Oh, I'm really just worried about the people who haven't found a place to stay. So I've been seeing how our local news has taken pictures of some of our folks in. A really vulnerable situation in the middle of all this heartbreak there's so much resilience in so much power. The community is coming together to lead it beautiful efforts for people on. There is so much power in our unity right now in terms of like. Checking in on each other. because. You know when these things happen, it's the direct people on the ground who weren't as impacted. It's the WHO's folks it's I mean it's hard for me because my my dad lost everything. My Mom's home is still standing even though orders, but it's on us. That's the quickest way we're going to be able to make it out of this when you call your house when you call your cousins when you call your neighbor, you just check up on each other and that's the way I've seen a lot of our people get access to food get access to close. The happened at three PM. And thank God even though this is like the worst thing an entire town burning down at three entire towns being severely destroyed by these fires. Thank God. It happened at three in the morning when you know folks are sleeping or at seven pm runs home from work. Because this, all happened in a blink of an eye it was within three to four hours. This fire went from Ashland to talent to Phoenix to Medford like I said, my mom lives in talent and my dad lived or his residence is in Phoenix in from you know checking on each other is like i. i saw the smoke, it eleven intolerant and the like. Yeah. I didn't get the call until one before we talk about your situation and others tell me a little bit about the community I. Mean that people don't know about yeah I mean who that's that question brings tears to my eyes 'cause. were community of be Natal's of a scene laws of now we would call them mighty needles 'cause there's all the ham `bout here. I'll the grapes we're just hardworking people man my folks got. In the late eighties, early nineties following the harvest from California You know once they were done. My mom got here when she was done. Picking Strawberries and she heard about pairs in southern Ohio and had an anti who had come. Sooner and my dad, you know was picking Liz in new? Mexico. about the beans out here and My Dad has planted over twelve million trees in the Pacific northwest like are people are so embedded in this landscape in the food, we produce in the beautiful mountains that you see those are all planted by our arkady that. we have make status community Some folks. Like myself, my mom and dad were undocumented when I was a child and I was a citizen in my mom eventually became a citizen. My Dad is. has his residency. So like a we have different kinds of. Legal status is which also be barrier for some of us in terms of having adjust recovery out of this disaster. But Overall, like this is what the hardest thing for me is is that I don't know a single family in in our community that has that was not impacted by this we're tightening We have some families here that You know that you've got the mom and then you have the kids we have like three generations of families here already. And we all know the you know the big lessons that family so and so make it. Okay. All will that family one lost everything others. Okay. So that's also been one of the reasons why are people have we've been able to you know figure it out a little easier because we do have we do rely on each other and like we do, we do count with each other support you know simply Say Yoga Nisa seat thou. At buckeyes and your Kiekens say you know were were just were just helping help. We're just helping each other to do our best making out of this right now

How Big Oil Misled The Public Into Believing Plastic Would Be Recycled

"How did millions of Americans come to believe that most plastic would be recycled when that's not actually true Laura Sullivan is GonNa take the story from here. Okay, it seemed like a good place to start was the plastic industry they make the stuff. Did they know the truth about recycling plastic? I headed to one of the birthplaces of plastic plastic comes from oil. But really comes from the dupont chemical company and some of the plastic industries old records are housed in the Hagley Library. It's this stone building on the grounds of the first dupont family home in Delaware. This is a place that actually used to store sodium nitrate back when Dupont made gunpowder not plastic. There's an archivist with a bow tie a handlebar moustache named Lucas Clawson, and he looks like someone would make cocktails. Lucas wheeled out a cart of boxes. Thank you. Files that documented the discovery of a chemical marvel that changed the world, a product that looked like glass but break a product that could also look like lightweight fluff but keep things hot called Styrofoam and incredible new film that can preserve food for days called. Saran. Wrap there were a couple of clues about recycling inside the boxes from the industry's most powerful lobby group at the time the Society of the plastics industry their job was to lobby for the big oil and plastic companies. So think Exxon Chevron Dow Dupont. And there's this one memo from one, thousand, nine, hundred, seventy, three, the. Movement is just being born, and one of the top people in the plastics industry is talking about how the cost of sorting plastic is high but it seemed like a lot of the documents were were missing I find reference to a memo a report, but then I noticed that someone had drawn a line through it Lucas. Can I ask you a question absolute. Okay. Why? In this section are all. These APPS. So many of these. Cross out because those records are no longer. Here anymore day or not where did they go the society of the Plastics Industry Astra them back think they really yes is an unusual. That doesn't happen often. Do you do know why they took them. Did they say? I, do not know. Okay Of course, there are all kinds of reasons why an industry lobbying group might want. It's records back I did call society the plastic folks and ask them if I could see the records they took they said No. So I headed to another library this time at Syracuse University and they're buried in its tax, our boxes of files donated from an industry consultant. Actually the industry consultant died in the why found the boxes and gave them to Syracuse and inside these boxes. I found what I was looking for a report was sent to top oil and plastic executives in nineteen seventy three. It says, recycling plastic is nearly impossible. There is no recovery from obsolete products. It says recycling is costly sorting. It is infeasible plus it says plastic degrades every time you try to reuse it. So the oil in plastic industry new, they've known for almost fifty years. and. Then I found more confidential memos in meetings echoed decades of this knowledge insight thousands of pages of courtroom discovery. There's a speech from an industry insider in nineteen seventy four when it comes to recycling large quantities plastic, it says there is quote serious doubt that it can ever be made viable on an economic basis. Now. Okay. Sure. Anyone can take something plastic melted down and make something else. But what these documents are saying is that it's expensive, it's time consuming it's chemically problematic and it's just cheaper and easier to make plastic out of new oil instead of plastic trash there are all kinds of names in these documents men who have never spoken publicly before and there was one name I kept seeing over and over he. was, giving speeches at fancy hotels, hosting conferences and Berlin. Phoenix, they called him a bigwig. He was the industry's top lobbyist. Larry Thomas this is the man I had to find but do you know how many Larry Thomas's there are in the United? States. Thousands I'd call say are you the Larry Thomas used to work in plastics? Are you leery Thomas who used to be president of the Society of the plastics industry? And then finally, I'll prompt Merrin the plastics industry no getting around it the BIGWIG himself I'll walk. Do that's for sure. Yeah. My personal views certainly didn't always job with. US I had the quake as part of my job. That's the way it was there. He's retired now on the coast of Florida but I told him I've been reading all about his exploits in the world of plastic. Where would the offices the officers were? What would you think they would be K. Street yes. Twenty Five K. Street Casey was the heart of lobbying in Washington and it was in those offices at top executives in the world's most powerful oil and plastic companies met they had meeting after meeting about a little problem they were having there was just too much plastic trash consumers didn't like it. In one of the documents I found from nineteen nine, hundred nine Larry wrote the top oil executives at Exxon Chevron, Amoco Dow Dupont proctor, and gamble in a bunch of others he wrote the image of plastics is deteriorating at an alarming rate. We are approaching a point of no return. The classic. I was under fire. We gotta do. What it takes to take the heat off. Because we want to continue to make classic equality, they wanted to keep making plastic but the more you make the more plastic trash you get and the obvious solution to this is to recycle it but they knew they couldn't remember it's expensive. It's a great. Discussion about how difficult it was to recycle. They knew that the infrastructure wasn't there. So really have recycling amount to a whole lot. So they needed a different plan. Larry Decides to call a bunch of meetings at fancy hotels. He summons the Society of the plastics people executives Larry doesn't remember the specifics of each particular meeting but one of his deputies at the time Lou Freeman he remembers you could. Get. Back all the layers of my brain. Lou, remembers a bunch of meetings the basic question on the table was. You guys you're our trade association in the plastics industry aren't doing enough. We need to do more. This one dupont executive was telling Lou. It's your job to fix plastics imaging problem. So what do you need? You said, I think if we had five million dollars. which seemed like a lot of money. If we had five million dollars we could. We could. We could solve this problem. And My boss said in response. If you add five million dollars, you would know how to spend it effectively. Well, they came up with a way to spend five million dollars that and a lot more I. Remember this. This is one of these exchanges that sticks with me thirty five years later however long it's been. Anna was You know what we need to do is advertise our way out of it. That was the idea thrown out. The industry decided to advertise its way out of a can't recycle it problem. The possibilities off plastics plastics. From dense. Touted the benefits of a product that after it was used for the most part was headed to a landfill incinerator or even ocean. Look empty yet it's anything but trash it's full of potential. These commercials carried an environmentalist message, but they were paid for by the oil and plastic companies eventually leading to fifteen million dollars a year industrywide ad campaign promoting plastic. So I asked Larry why why spend tens of millions of dollars telling people to recycle plastic when the new recycling plastic wasn't going to work? and. That's when he said it. The point of the whole thing if the public thinks so recycling is working. Then they're not going to be concerned about the environment and if they're not concerned about the environment. Though keep buying plastic it wasn't just Larry in lieu who said this I spoke to half a dozen top guys involved in the industry at the time who all said plan was unfolding and it went beyond at the industry funded recycling projects and local neighborhoods expensive sorting machines that didn't make any economic sense school recycling contests. All of this was done with great fanfare. except I decided to go track down almost a dozen of the industry's biggest projects like the one where they were going to recycle plastic and national parks or the one that was going to recycle all the plastic and school lunches in New York they all failed and disappeared quietly but there was one more part of this campaign, the final piece that did stick around. That recycling symbol with the numbers in the middle this symbol has. So. Much confusion about what is and is not recyclable in the plan to stamp it on every plastic item popped up a lot in the documents I learned of a quiet campaign to lobby almost forty states to require that every single plastic item have this symbol stamped on it. Even if there was no way to economically recycle it, I should note that some. Environmental is also supported. The symbol thinking would help, separate and sort plastic but the industry knew the truth the symbols were causing problems. Warm report told executives in July nineteen ninety-three that the symbol is being misused. It's creating quote unrealistic expectations about what plastic people can recycle. It's being used as a green marketing tool, but the executives decided to keep the symbol anyway. I did reach out to plastic industry folks and they said that the symbols were only meant to help sort plastic and that they were not intended to confuse people but the symbol in the ads in the projects, all of this basically convince people Larry says the idea that the vast majority of plastic can be recycled was sinking in. Say that. After a while the atmosphere seems to change I. Don't know whether it was because people thought that recycling has solved the problem. was that they were just so in love with plastic products that they were willing to overlook the environmental concerns that were were mounting up. It's been thirty years now since most of those plans have been put into place and the public's feelings about plastic have started to shift again, people are reading stories about oceans choked with plastic trash and trace amounts of this stuff inside our bodies, and once again, people are wanting to ban plastic and the survival of the oil companies is at stake.

February and so I think I had the question of all right what does this release look like and so that's an exciting thing I. wonder if it looks better, I wonder how I wonder what the differences between the two skews It also coming to switch is really exciting because I was thinking they revealed that surprise me you know especially with the breadth of wild similarities that coming to switch I think is going to be interesting for that audience to see how people will take to it whether people flocked to order people are put off to put off by it. I. My my thing in this isn't me knocking it right breath. The wild part of that game I thought was the journey across the island and making it feel like you're making big steps watching What we saw last night from Phoenix rising. It seemed like traversing the island in getting around seemed quicker. Is that an apt description or is that just what made to look like? I think that's apt but I also wonder how late in the game that is because when I jumped in halfway through I, wonder if we're at the beginning of the game, does heal a lot slower because that is my thing with breath to you a breath breath the wild. One. Of The wild one. Breath wild felt like one of the biggest open world games I played even though it probably like in scale of the map, it probably isn't as like it probably isn't that big you know in reality but the way in which they approach like that journey aspect of it makes it feel like it's huge near exploring all these different things in that like you know you really feel like you're going. Through journey because you're kind of exploring that world slowly and meticulously, and you know, they give you the the paraglider thing early in the game breath wild Ryan so like they give you some of those those those tools to explorer in like go through the island quicker. But even even with that Econo, still feel like you're tracking few and You know really getting everything out of the map. Immoral Phoenix rising when I was playing did feel a bit like quicker and did feel be onto the next thing right? You feel like you are going to the next class breath while didn't really have A. The has system, but it's not as traditional and strict as. A. Lot of other similar open World Games try immoral Phoenix rising does seem to have a quest system that is a bit stricter in terms of, hey, go do this thing called the next question? Do this thing called? The next. Which? I think a lot of people who may not have liked breath wild for that are going to like a moral phoenix rising for its structure. But I think that also means that you might be exploring this game at a particular pace is probably going to be a bit quicker. I don't think it is going to be the man. What is this? What we're here I'M GONNA I'M GONNA check this out like this who unique thing that you've never seen before that that that blows your mind I don't know how those moments you're gonna get but you are going to have like open world puzzles and things that are discoverable just maybe not on the level of breath. Wow. Okay I had zero hype for this game and then washing shows like Oh shit I'd like to play that and I think December's time for to after like the run to black Friday new consoles or out every starting to chill and settle for the holidays. This seems like a game I play in Madame. On top of that, then prison persia the sands of time remake was announced coming January twenty first. Every of the current generation no Nexgen for it your Yuri Lowenthal is back. That's right. Spiderman of self animal prints the original prints from Principia. Exciting for that. Looking forward to playing that I said, every said current is it switched to I don't think I actually did I miss that I'm not sure I. Can you thank you very much check on that hyperscale got a little shoutout it's still free. They showed some stuff I didn't pay attention Rainbow six siege world got something there. But I in the Rainbow six siege way you off on twitter pointed out Upgrade Rainbow six siege. To Jen Councils at no additional cost in play in one hundred and twenty frames per second at four K.. Then, Scott Pilgrim vs the world. The game complete edition was announced. That's coming holiday twenty twenty as well washed. Prime showing WHO's the rapper whose in it? And Watch. Storms he they showed him getting more captive for his rap session. They reiterated October twenty ninth as a release date in the announced that aiden pierce the of protagonist from the originals watchdogs will be part of the season pass. You can get there if you want there is. One Prince Persia knock coming to switch it was. The XBOX IN PS four xbox and PS four. Yeah and then to I would like to apologize to date appears fans I. During the Stream I very much. That hey, nobody's a fan of aiden pierce nobody cares about eating peers. there. Weren't even that many wash dogs. One fans etcetera etcetera. And, yeah, the in Pierce Fans showed up in my mentions let me know they. Let me know they exist inside out here out here issue I like to issue a public apology to every eight and peers fan i. see you I hear you I understand that you exist in frantic. Now, frame did not pop out. There is going to be another ubisoft forward in the coming months. But before then before the end there, one more thing was writers republic Again, from the people who made steep this giant multiplayer online game, you're all doing outdoor shit like riding bikes and snowboarding and jumping off crap and doing races is coming February twenty fifth twenty, twenty one and gamespot reports even though that's after the launch of the. Series x? US. Offering free upgrades from PS four and xbox one versions to their respective next Gen versions, which is a very nice move on their part. Hopefully, they're committed to this. Yeah. Talk about this because you tim immediately lit up for this one and I mean, we started reading twitter. Yeah. I don't know exactly what it is about this game I don't know if there's one thing about this game rows like this me this is what I need but like the more and more they show during that trailer because it was it was a long trailer, the more and Morales like. No. Yeah. This seems like it has a fun like it seems like a fun combination of quite a few ubisoft games. Right has a lot of steep in. It seems like it has some trials in it even seems like it has some far cry in it. When you look at the world and you look at the some of the colors you see an almost has like some rage in it all. You know when you look at when you look at the colors i. I want to know more about what structure of the game is like. Is it battery Al is a like fog is, is it just you're doing a bunch of different activities that that scale based on how many players? There are ten players to thirty whatever I'm more curious about that. But from the stuff they show they show a game that was very similar to graffiti from Tony Hawk. Where graffiti is the game where like it's a multiplayer game where if you do a trick on a ramp or like on a grind or whatever yellow then color that the ramp or or the grind your color, and you are essentially doing as matrix all over the map as you can in order to take over the map versus your opponent almost kind of platoon ish in a way. They showed a game battle is very much that we've made me go. Oh, snap. All right. This seems like it has a lot in in terms of the different, the different ways in which you can have fun. So all about it looks cool. It looks like it's going to grow over time I'm surprised it's coming out so soon.

"Restart Bubble Phoenix Suns I. Mean. The Andrea is there something about? This environment here in Orlando. That has benefited your team. In. This run. As the energy when we're off the court. You know we feel we feel attention. We we feel it in the air that you know. People think we shouldn't be here or you know you know to win the world talk upon us other sons you know everybody talk on the is basically losers and you know us as young guys. We hear all that noise and US coming together and his bubble seen each other every day. Learn each other personnel. We got together as a unit and say we're GonNa Change, Our Name, the the world see us but what action not saying it. But what action along those lines you guys are playing the other night draymond green in the studio with TNT. and. Devon Booker's playing great and essentially Draymond says about books you get Outta. Outta Phoenix at he can't stay there they got. He's gotTa be somewhere else that you guys. I imagine you heard about it right after the yeah I mean social media. We definitely probably heard I mean is it was promoted everywhere I mean this is outside noise like we say I think book is do really maintain focus and he just WanNa win he's a competitor has highest peak there is in his league and he knows just contagious in seeing him how you play out there every day. Just spreads and you know him and I've been on shows leading. We always keep getting and keep each other heads off any any noise like that is non-existent to me. But you know this league is hard and you talked about it like they label you as losers team hasn't had success, it's been. been a rocky last several years and you've got a young group that's trying to grow together but it can be hard to break labels. In this league I. Mean You guys talk about that amongst each other I mean book and talk about it changing the name for ourselves on way the way the world look at us it's just competing. He told me you know Da, you know just come and compete every day. Do is not GonNa want to play against us do not WanNa play against this effort is hard work every day we just gotta stay locked in. That approached that coach gave us in training camp. Next would really changes. The he he gave us a challenge during training camp to where. How how much do we want it anything anything we want. That, no that's compare with successes. Jahar that's our thing that's Armato and training with L.. That's the worst training game I. Probably you know hardest training camp. I should say I probably ever went through since I've been in the league. So it was kinda crazy to training camps in a year. So this one in the bubble was Kinda Kinda lives probably two weeks of training camp and it got us in top shape book and I looked at each other private a second game. We had official game like this, the best by been. What our young players when you're a young player who comes into the League especially at a young team What is it that you think is don't fully understand or you can't understand until you experience. About what it takes to have success in the NBA because you can have some individual success you put some numbers up. There's a Lotta guys putting up points numbers on bad teams, but to have like real success. What is it that you just don't know until you start experiencing consistency because most that good game make you feel been? You, know on your ass about you know being great next couple of days or. A couple of days down that week, you're not playing so well in the high goes away and you know they have this lump to whereas like, and now we're talking about it by you feel that that's when you involve the where you're not really a competitor hooper just you know doing individual things are do who's competitor Playful his team and no matter how bad he played. He still tried his best to rebound. He's still try to play defense trying to make the best hustle play in. Just what we finally got through broke on this team. Finally, we finally broke through where whatever it takes. We have to follow our culture in order to get it up. Right now at work, what is the routine like in the bubble you're essentially playing every other day. Now you guys are five and now I think you have a back to back to. Thunder Philly. On Monday Tuesday. What do you guys do when I mean you can only you're only in the gym so much wire hair yeah. Coach coaches pretty smart. When he when you want to get us I focus we definitely come downstairs in do I'll walk through with is like a series walk-throughs route really any field. As you get a sheet of paper and you you learned personnel and not really reading was all your personal. But knowing that guy watching it fm the night before film and knowing, and that's when you know your team is ready when the dude is right they're not reading the paper in telling you all about what his guy does was his Tennessee's was weakness was the strength. Offer and that's been throughout this whole Bob seen. It never experienced this type of walk through seen duct tape. I've never seen it. The room is empty..

"The brightly shining. Mandarin Duck waddled up as well kinder than we were to you. Where sorry for how we treated you. Well that's okay said Fan. Thanks for saying so. She turned to go back inside but they waived her to stop. Wait trilled the LARK. I have something for you. He slapped up to fan and put his beak to hers. The gift of music passed from him to her and when fan opened her mouth she found herself trilling a beautiful song. The sparrowhawk came next and gifted fan a mighty beak and gleaming talons. Finally the Mandarin Duck and all the rest each pulled off their brightest and most beautiful feather and gave it to fan to keep soon her. Plumage was the prettiest of all. And when you looked at her she seemed to shine like the sun itself. You were always the best of US said the lark solemnly a now. We'd like you to be the leader of the birds. We are at your service said. The sparrowhawk fans smiled and took their gifts offer a moment returning to her small warbling ash colored self her valuable self. Thank you for all of this. She said but I'd settle for just being your friend. Of course. They agreed to that but insisted she keep the gifts to for whenever she may want to use them. And that's how fan became the first Phoenix able to change from ordinary ash to the leader of all the birds reborn over and over and forever welcomed anywhere. She went the end. "Thanks enjoy the episode Phoenix feathers. Once upon a time in a sprawling airy forest there lived a very plain bird her name span and she was truly the most ordinary bird you could ever encounter where other birds sing beautiful soaring songs. Fan could only squawk and quibble where other birds had proud beaks and gleaming talons. She had a rocky stub and scratchy nails and worst of all where other birds had feathers and all the colors of the blooming flowers. Fan's feathers were the dingy grey of ashes. Life was hard for fan. She had trouble fitting in and was lonely more often than not one day she went to the singing birds all crooning away in the swaying green limbs of the Cyprus trees these birds were white and brown themselves so she thought perhaps they'd have some sympathy for her ash-grey feathers. Hello there she said doing her best to sound musical and landing instead on an awkward warble. Do you think I could join in on your singing? A proud larks stopped his song and puffed himself up he was a little ball of a bird and all the more round with his feathers. Fluffed join us. He humped well with a voice. Like that I find it unlikely but go ahead give it. The old songbird try. Fan took a deep breath and gave it her best shot. She tilted her little beak up and let loose law unfortunately her voice cracked and wobbled and warble than warped. If you think of a pretty song her effort was pretty much. The exact opposite the larks and thrashes all started to laugh and laugh. If that's your idea of a song I'd hate to hear you complaining. The proud Lark said Fan flapped away sadder than before still. She didn't want to give up. Maybe she couldn't sing but there were other flocks. She flapped her little wings and made her way deeper into the forest deeper and deeper to the dark and quiet trees that the sparrowhawks made their home. These birds were also plainly colored and they didn't sing so much as screech so fan thought. Perhaps she could find some friends among them. Hello were there. She said doing her best to sound strong and fierce and landing instead on a shaky whisper. Do you think I could join in with your hunting? The mighty sparrowhawks glare down at her with their keen. Yellow is the largest one leaned forward beak gleaming sharp and deadly. Join US she shrieked. Would that be in those talents? I find it unlikely. Catch that mouse. They're running below our tree. Fan nodded and dove streaking towards the ground. Like she had seen the bigger birds do on so many occasions. She hit the mouse and her little talons bounced off her beak was bad at aside. The mouse squeaked in annoyance and disappeared into his whole complaining all the way. The sparrowhawks started to laugh and laugh. Mighty Hunter can't even kill a mouse. The Great Bird said Fan flapped away sadder than ever before still. She didn't want to give up sure she couldn't sing and true. She wasn't much of a hunter but there was another group. She flapped her little wings and headed towards the river. There on the Balmy banks were the colorful birds. Their feathers were plum purple and rocket red and Emerald Green and ocean wave blue. They were so beautiful to look upon. That fan had been afraid to approach them at I still. They didn't sing so sweetly and they definitely weren't hunters either so she thought maybe she could find some friends among them. Hello there she said doing her. Best to sound. Bright and cheery. Do you think I could join you and sit by the river with all of you? A stunningly bright mandarin duck popped out of the water shaking droplets free of his marvelous. Golden head join us. He said cocking his head. You're much to play. Why don't you come back when you have something a little more colorful to contribute? Fan didn't see how she could make that happen but she was sick of being turned away so with no better ideas. She packed around on the ground for awhile looking for loose feathers. She found some in a sunshiny yellow and others in an overwrite orange and using a little tree sap stock the colored feathers in among her own feeling pretty pleased with herself. She returned to the river's edge and posed for the Mandarin Duck. Not a bad start. He said suspiciously but wait. One of those feathers. Looks like a tail feather I lost last week and feathers from my Ting added a golden pheasant give back. The pheasant plucked free its feathers and the duck did the same and the other birds followed their lead soon. Poor fan was left with no feathers but her own ash-grey a nice try said the Mandarin Duck. But you can sit with us. I can't sing. I can't hunt said Fan. I thought at least you can't sit with us. He snapped and Fan flapped away sadder than ever before. She spent time feeling sorry for herself wishing she had a group to join eventually though she had a new thought. Okay I can't sing or hunt and maybe I'm pretty plain but does that mean I don't have value. Everything has value. There are lots of good things about me. I'm not a singer. I'm not sure I can carry into don't hunt. I'm not a winger and I am not brightly wound. But these aren't things you have to be friend and I don't need to feel less in the a lot of good things about me. I like myself. My voice is fine. Keeps Me Company? I'M GONNA sing. I don't care what you say. I don't hunt but I'm not hungry. I call exceeds in. Eat them all day. My father's planning and so on and he say aren't what make me good. I'm good anyway. Kwon do aren't all this Birdie you like everyone on Earth. Yes fan new. She had value and she found. She was much happier when she stopped to fit in. She spent her days singing to herself cracking open seed pods and bringing them back home to her burrow in the bark before long she had a tree full of delicious seeds and nuts and was quite content in her own company not long after there was a terrible drought. The Sun pounded down mercilessly. Day After day the rivers dried up the flowers wavered and wilted and the mice all left for greener pastures soon. The sprawling airy forest was nearly empty of food. Luckily Fan had plenty in her tree but the other birds weren't so lucky. The songbirds found themselves starving and sore. The birds of prey had nothing to prey upon. Even the beautiful birds found their river dried and their food dried with it. They all came together in the forest chirping and arguing some thought they should abandon their homes and fly away hoping to find a better place. Others pointed out that they'd starve before they could hope to make it anywhere. Half as good the arguing soon turned to squawking and the squawking soon turned to shouting fan heard it all from her burrow in the bar nearby she looked at her supply of food more than enough to share and then at all the starving birds outside a part of her wanted to stay hidden and let them starve. They'd certainly been mean enough to her but another part was still as friendly as ever and more than that fan still knew that she had value just because those birds had been rude to her. That didn't mean she had to be rude to them. She would be true to herself. And that meant being kind. Even in the squawking face of meanness pillow there. She said poking her head out from her tree and interrupting the argument. I've been collecting seeds. Not Send even some berries in my tree. I have plenty to share. Come take a look. The birds gathered around and fan began to pass out the food. They thanked her and took it meekly knowing they didn't deserve the kindness. She was showing them but to Hungary to refuse after. All we're fed fan went back inside her tree to sleep. The other birds stayed up all night talking without her and when the sun rose the next day fan found them all waiting outside her home. Oh hello there she said. Did you eat it all already? I suppose I can share some more. The proud Lark flap forward. No you've shared more than enough. He said trump agreed the sparrowhawk landing by his side. You been kind of and we deserved.

"When he's joker that were kind of glorifying him at some ways in these seems like you know kind of cool in a way For lack of better word but it wasn't the way that it was written when he goes on the Murray. Franklin show was like a bumbling fool and something else took over when we went to shoot that. I don't really know how to explain it. I don't think todd does and it was our intention but you just follow something right you sit down to write a song you both play music and write. You have your idea of what it's GonNa be but at some point you're just in the flow and it becomes something else so some of those criticisms May. Maybe maybe it's maybe it's fair but it's not really sometimes not a well thought out designed idea. Sometimes you're just in the moment you're reacting to something thing at least for me. I don't fully understand what it is I don't really want to. I mean that's what I love about it. It's not premeditated always or created you. Have you have your ten ideas going into something and then it just starts telling you which one do you know. Well in the case of the character being progressively more mentally unstable being taken off meds. Because they can't afford to you know we can't be he can't psychoanalyze. You can't get as much like really to don't really ever. Nobody was on meds because he was actually. I mean there's like different and right but I guess that's the thing that could be any number of perspectives but if that is let's say that's the truth thing right and then it stands to reason in his mind and in a in a in a maniac Away like all that. Is this wonderful coming out party. You know what I mean so. It's not meant to be that. That was what Sarah Sarah like. That's the thing that's so difficult about or not difficult to me thought. Provoking about the film was that it was like a labyrinth that it was kind of it seemed like the character was choosing their own adventure based on where the heads you know but and the audience gets gets to do it too and so if we take anything to literally in to like dogmatically one way or this is what they were trying to say and then then it is missing the point of of of of just the expression of this not to mention that if you even let's say all that let's not talk about jokers is a long-standing super villain and slash character in comics and in the world and other films already and so there are certain elements of that that are just like part of that that story right that like is part of it and the retelling or the origin. Part is what's really interesting because you had so much more freedom and liberty but like why why didn't to me. It's like anything could have matched up for where we're headed with where that character becomes as we already know him in other films so I mean I I think that You know human psychology is really complex. And what motivates our actions really complex and we want we want easy answer who want solutions to those things because it's frustrating being human and it's frustrating seeing being things happening in the world that are terrifying because that's beyond your comprehension and so it's you know it makes sense in some ways to through to want to use the medium of film to try and control life in some ways but I I you know I think there's something thing valuable and interesting about not being able to control it I completely lost. My point is what is ringing and I four. That's a great thought. Yeah Hey no. Making a million on their four hundred gend-gender underdog character though. I found it fascinating that he he never or the way that he's portrayed traitor you portray him is never one that seems to be aware of that fight or flight he's rarely even though he is is Bash down again and again and again he still seems to. His world is small and looking down and he's he's rarely gazing to the horizon to see if anything is coming at him like. There's no. There's not that innate fear in him damn that it is that some some shit's going to go down and he's in trouble or that he's in and that was one of the most interesting aspects to me. There's an interesting I always you know I don't know but the one thing I done research about. PTSD from this other film and the one thing that I did recognize. There's a third component to Jesse that we don't often talk about. We talk about fight or flight. We don't talk about freeze and so when he's getting beat up by these kids. I'm like oh that's freeze mode like literally somebody that had suffered it kind of childhood trauma and physical abuse and literally just goes into the position. And what what is is it's an over stimulated at Migdal and that is the reason or the front. I'm not sure. Let's let's take this out so I don't know but it's basically our lizard brain right. It's the part of the old part of the rain a more online at certainly old. It's definitely getting older every day. But but basically over stimulated to make you you perceive and are looking for threat everywhere. You're just costly in this reactive. State and so they've proven scientifically when when you go into fighter flight. Your I q dropped significantly. Because you don't need higher brain functions. All you do is forgot how to get the fuck away from the Tiber Asia and so everybody fucking gets downright. And you're not you're you're you lose your ability to reason and this is somebody that is locked in that state constantly Salihi so he. He's wrong about so much it's happening he there. Aren't these real threat. So much of it is in his head so many seems seems kind of you know unbelievable about a bunch of teenagers stealing his sign and beating them up right so I to me. That's a great example of did this happen. Or is this just how he perceives the world right and so so. I think that it's somebody that's kind of locked in not that way of thinking And that never learned never learned the the the ability so you kind of reason properly to look at the world for what it is right there. Con- selene this kind of irrational state of fear. And I think a lot of people like you know. A lot of people have suffered greatly and suffered childhood trauma that they never never learned how to recover from that. So I think doubt is for me the the part of the movie. That's most important that I believe case in. Yeah but just that you know this. This is somebody that really suffered this trauma and you know it's a a lot of kids are adopted. They have Well who says without sound like an idiot or a deck but just statistically there are higher rates of of crime not because they're inherently bad got people right but because they don't have the the parenting and the right supports are some thank you And and so he's clearly a product of that world now. There are plenty of people that have those those tough beginnings And I don't know that they find their way or somehow they they overcome it. He's also a narcissist assists So you have these extras expectation that the world is supposed to treat him a particular way. you you know like royalty. And that's his narrative in his in his head so it's very to me it's complex. It's not an easy answer. It's not just right society society. Fuck this guy over. And they're responsible for his actions. I don't think that's the case. I don't think that's fair. It's just again. It's more complex than that. I'm certainly not smart enough to understand what it is The the the the calls and I I think that's goes back to what we were talking about. A little bit of interrupted you know again. You're thank you I know you don't. Nobody calmed by the fact that I literally started off saying something and with a thought everything you said there was plenty of great closure. I thought in each of your points. Yeah you may have lost some of that but I only have enough attention span for like what's happening now so whatever I've missed and then sometimes I'm paying attention other times thinking my dry cleaning cleanings left. I left at two months now and I do. They're going to dump it. I don't know yeah you know I never dry cleaned dry clean adult you tell them in all of these definitely I can see them and I've noticed that this also. This is my clean Hoodie too so I have five of them. I'm in four of them. I know dusting summers off there with a white cat before this. Thank you talking about a little bit related to what we were talking about here. which was I know as cleaning the skeeve off of me? 'CAUSE you're which was that that suffering begins with the life of suffering or right and that that comes from this idea that it is not what we want it to be right? Or what are we. Expect a certain outcome or feel were entitled to a certain reality that we end up creating the exact opposite of or maybe not the exact opposite but in different undulating ta you know in different waves we create come on guys. Let's go get in here with this. This is awesome heady stuff. Here's there's a big I give. It's so fucked up because I am forty five years old and I'm still scared of like uh of thirteen-year-old making fun of me and you're stupid of legal and so much of like my insecurity when when talking in your training these is in the back of my head. Somebody's GonNa you're stupid. What do you think shut up? And maybe they're right you know but it's prevents me so I really don't nothing. We're just here to learn and talk and chat and liars. Oh and you're gonNA like you go. There are they will show our own nephews news without listening to this. Yeah there's like I think there's like their loss. Well No. I think there's like it's it's all that might check it out. I just wanted to say you fucking but can I just say that those thirteen year old boys that are judging you and your mind in their mind. There's somebody a third another fellow peer judging them and it's literally like the the what is it. The bird watcher watched the bird watcher. Watch that that that that we're all doing that. And and what is that actually doing for anyone and not that like like everyone should be like well my opinion. Let me tell the world but it's also like why. Stop the if if you WANNA share with your friends and family about something meaningful and the whole world's GonNa Listen. You know you have to take into account that there. Are those thirteen year olds on your shoulder but maybe the right and and wife your criticism right. The thing is is that right well. There's value in criticism die. You learning about something and sometimes you have to humiliate yourself so does you have to be embarrassed to take a look at things and there's nothing wrong with that whereas we're so concerned and afraid all the time of like looking good and You being smart and saying the right thing and and sometimes it's. It's okay to to not do that to express your opinion and and they say in Buddhist philosophy difference absolute and that is something. I've heard in Buddhist philosophy. They say that embarrassment like being like horribly ably embarrassed is one of the most purifying things that you can happen to someone because it just takes tons of your negative out as just to have that naked moment in front of a lot of whatever that it's actually really helpful for you know if you if you have the courage to see life that way. It's a good thing. I think that that is probably the key component to to every job that that I do and it's why I have. Such hesitation and fear about working is because I know that I'm going to have to experience public humiliation and I don't want to because he does is but I know that like for me. Nothing's going to come of it. Nothing's imminent with the work unless I had that experience. Because it's just you have to get it to. At least I do have to place where I I. That's that's losing myself and I mean that's that's not being in character right. It's like not having control over how people perceive me or whether they think that I'm like good or talented..

"Here's where it gets crazy. Let's roll out the theories guys but he say let's dive into okay. Let's dive into u._f._o.'s. Okay sure so the first. I think that we can absolutely confirm is that something that was illuminated was in the sky on that night. Something definitely happened. Yes checkpoint check for real because a lot of times when you were thinking about these kinds of things you have one or two witnesses right or you know a small handful of witnesses and you have to just by critical by the by the way of thinking about these things critical you have to question the veracity of a witness statement right sure in this case you still have to do that to an extent but you have so many people seeing it that we can confirm that something was in the sky something occurred and there was video documentation and and and <hes> <hes> photography there are a lot of photographs of that night now here is where we bring in our friend kurt russell. Look oh okay so on a talk. Show british talk show years ago. I think it was around the time that guardians of the galaxy one or two was coming out. I can't remember he was into okay so i wanted to but he was really prominent too. Well guardians of the galaxy was occurring. Kurt russell is on british talk show he's sitting next to chris chris pratt and the <hes> the presenter brings up the phoenix lights. He's just starts telling the story of the phoenix lights and kurt russell answers. It wasn't even a question or anything. Kurt russell just responds by saying. I know exactly what that was because i was the pilot that that actually <hes> called this in when he was coming into the airport and he tells a story about how he was taking his son. He had just gotten his pilot's license. He was taking his son oliver to go see a friend out in phoenix and he was flying out there and as he's approaching <hes> to land he sees these six slights and he makes a report and describes him. He's as well yes. They're unidentified. They're six lights. You don't have them on your radar. Will then that's odd..

"Choice do it we we <hes> we enjoy it and every review <hes> every time we get a nice review our our uber boss appears in an obsidian mirror and grants us one more day of life yeah then he says no get back out there in gives them more ridesharing stuff. 'cause i'm the uber boss. Yes exactly exactly exactly today. We are diving into a phenomenon that many of our fellow listeners have asked about over the course of years years in years and years this has shown up and we've looked at it a little bit in the past but now we're diving face first full into the deep water of the phoenix lights to some people the entire phoenix lights phenomenon is a cynical way of grabbing cash some publicity and you know in some respects effects that is true to others. It's one of the most well documented u._f._o. Sightings in recent history due primarily to the video footage available and as well well is the thousands of witnesses on the ground and a few in the air at the time so today's question is what happened. Where does the truth fall between in these two rather divisive views tanzer that we have to travel back in time so here are the facts we have to go back to march march thirteenth nineteen ninety seven around eight pm a little after that in arizona specifically in phoenix arizona and the surrounding rounding towns mostly north of that now on this day numerous reports all kinds of residents from all across his area start art describing to <hes> to police 'cause they're making nine one one calls. They're making reports this all over the place of these mysterious lights that are in the sky but here's the deal if you if you went through and cataloged every single one of the reports that occurred that night. You're going to hear a lot of different stories about what was actually really seen. Some people describe seeing this strange v-shaped formation or sometimes. It's they called it a boomerang and it just looks like you you know like if you're looking at geese says they're migrating or something flying the flying v yes it similar to that with six lights sometimes more sometimes fewer usually six or fewer that were actually observed and other people amidst. These thousands of witnesses claimed that they saw hovering lights meaning lights that moved in discrete groups or lights that appeared to fade after they had passed the observers and again. Most of these observers are stationary canary. They are on the ground they do not. They're not looking through various instruments. They're watching with the naked eye so they'll have a hard time guessing the altitude yes we we see a large range in what how people believe. These things are right yeah so let's let's trace the events because we're fortunate in that this happened so recently nineteen ninety-seven there's a wealth of technology that wasn't available in say the fifties or the thirties according to the national channel u._f._o. Reporting center which is one of the only organizations that keeps an official record of these sightings <hes>. They received their first call on their u._f._o. Hotline that night eight from a retired cop in paldon arizona. That's a small town a couple of hours north of phoenix and then after that initial report the hotline blew wop people were calling all over the place from location south of paldon and that indicated to the reporting center that the aircraft or were the u._f._o. Whatever you wanna call it was heading in a southeastern direction and some of the specifics from the reports are a little bit different but u. U. s. a..

"And there wasn't a whole lot different on her. But there was, you know, they were they were a few more Scott gene, scenes to establish their love more, or I was gonna ask about that because I mean that's, that's the heart the breaks. Yes, you know, in the in the original comic, it is gene, that sacrifices herself suicidally in when Scott is begging her not to. Yeah. And here you again shows an interesting ending in which in the comic, she's definitely dead. And of course, fans kind of revolted, and there was the storyline that I believe Chris Claremont was not originally comfortable with in which. Oh, that wasn't really gene the died. She was in the Astro protected Horsfield at the bottom of Blake and came back. I'm going on bad memories here. Right. And so, but here you did something interesting in which the force of the Phoenix has she merges with it? And I thought that was interesting because you see. And, and. And she's not exactly dead. He's not exactly dad, but she's not gene walking around. Right. And kissing when did that idea come about rather than just what we know is dark Phoenix. When she she, you know, she offs herself it came about gosh. I mean this movie's a little blurry for me, but only in the sense of the process was so intense, and obviously occupying the role of writer, producer, enter actor on movie of the scale with reshoot in the midst of one studio. Buying another studio in post production. It was a lot and easy street. And also, like I just got back from going around the world doing a tour for this film. So I went straight from from London to Moscow to Korea to China to hear the premier that was four days ago at any rate. But my memory of it is that, that, that was somewhere during production. This idea. That we would have a slight hint at the end, the gene, or the Phoenix force was still out there in space. That was always actually in production in it. Then when we did the re-shoots I made her death a little bit more ambiguous in terms of when you see her transform into the Phoenix shape in space. I'm curious about, you know, in classic x men number eight. They had be stories. And Chris Claremont wrote something called the gift in which the Phoenix force actually talks to her. So there's, there's actually like a human could not a human connection, but communication of sorts did you ever consider version, where the Phoenix force would talk to Jean? Yeah. I wrote a version that was that. And, and, and we shot version that was that really. Yeah. Like, what didn't what didn't work for. Well, we had a, a woman on in when we're shooting onset, who would be either offset saying it or in. Ear wagon Sophie's ear saying the words to her of, of the Phoenix, and it was pretty cool. But what you felt was, you know it can in real life if you've ever known anybody that deals dealing with any sort of mental health issue, or psychological disorder year, they're unpredictable. You don't really know what's going on all the time behind their eyes, and that's part of what's heartbreaking about watching them. And also compelling about watching someone portrayed onscreen hearing, what was happening inside her head the whole time felt less. Interesting less surprising. What was the Phoenix's motivation? What kind of things was the Phoenix telling gene, she various and the other three is night cut. It is. Because similar to Jessica, which is like, she just or like venom just wanted to take over, gene. Okay. And just bay. Basically, the, the if it were at boil down to one thing, it'd be stopped trying to resist me. Okay. That's go. The death mystique at what point did you realize you were going to do that? I mean, there were so many interesting things. I mean, I just rewatch apocalypse and it's interesting because quicksilver runs up some planks like literally pieces of wood in the air that are exploding to save, gene and apocalypse. And in the battle in dark Phoenix, he is. It's like a visual recall..

"And I thought they were down to one train car now. But didn't look like that long of a train. But suddenly, there's five train cars flying through the sky and aliens, still, plenty I wonder if they re edited that scene a little bit to move it up because I thought they beaten all of the debris, and now they're still a whole bunch of Bari. They've gotta give Phoenix the end. And so she kills all those guys by spinning it around and then she takes up space and does, the Phoenix move gives her the power, which he most wanted. Yeah, it's ending of Anglia's hulk. And I thought that earlier which she started to hand over the. Power was the you'd think you want this power. Take it all every washing lease hope times since we covered. I think it does go a little Akhir here. She becomes the star child. I think she disappears. But we still get that voice over like. She's still exists on some plane right? Yeah. Very quick wrap up where Scott's hanging new sign the Jean grey school for the gifted now is the public going to send people there. I mean, knowing that her reputation was mostly as a killer has it been restored in the public Cy? I don't know that anyone saw this train flip. Well, it's not really school that normal kids go to. It is still forbidden. So maybe some of them, see her as a hero. Okay. Sure. And then beast Charles, never patched it up. Beast still holds onto the idea that Charles killed his girlfriend and beast. Now runs the school we don't know that they didn't maybe leave on civil terms. I mean something had to happen, where Charles says, take the school there had to be conversation where he gives them the keys there's legal papers. Yes. Sure, Harvey Weinstein said something to his employees when he was shared out, not much. I mean, the point is we're taking it from you. It's gene school now and I'm running it, and we'll be no more mistreatment of children, and Charles goes to France. I couldn't stop thinking of Michael Cain. The dark Knight rises. He goes to France at the end of that, too. I guess that's just where you go when you're done being super superhero. Sounds like a whole different series, doesn't it? They could do a whole retired and France superhero old man movie. He looks really upset and angry though. Charles is really bitter about being in this cafe. He's like a civil play when they bring him coffee but he is sitting there alone. He is just a grumpy old. Not yet Patrick Stewart, yeah. Eight years, you will be though. Yeah. It's not leading into anything that we've known before and it's not a future that begs sequels. I mean, if they wanted to bring it into the series, I suppose, seeing Eric, and Charles playing chess. Again does. Is that what else is there to do? And he's going to take Charles to Janusche and says you once gave me a home in a family, and I'll do the same for you. Now, I don't know that Charles will ever be a passive guy. He's going to backseat drive, the ruling of John OSHA, and Dr Eric nuts. All life is going to be a chess game. But it's a nice note, to end on them. Because honestly Marjorie when we left was like, how come he doesn't end up with rose Byrne? They got together again, in that third film couldn't get him to retire with a happy ending. And I said, this bromance has always been more interesting than any romance for Xavier. Yeah. You're always waiting for that chess match since the first movie. I mean when magneto almost killed everybody Xavier still showed up for that chess, match the two of them are soulmates, maybe, not in a romantic sense, but they need to be together. And so to me, this is a happy ending and we panned up and gene didn't die. We saw her. When she kills vox, she kinda went two thousand one of reminded me of Dave's with the glory is when he became space baby in two thousand one and she formed, a Phoenix, Phoenix is still streaking through the sky as Sophie Turner's telling us Marvel's taking over. This is not the end of me or the X men..

"Yeah. Okay. And with the kids in summer, I think dark Phoenix, I don't it's going to it's going to have a tough road ahead. Yeah. I think it's going to do the same kind of like Godzilla just underwhelming numbers. Yeah. And people will still be seeing Aladdin and what else probably your life pets, too. Yeah, that's gonna that's the first big kid movie of the summer and it's supposed to be pretty big. Now the first one did crazy numbers? And so there's been a lot of intimidation with secret life of pets, too. And so with dark Phoenix coming out at the same time. It's I dunno. I it's going to have a tough time reaching that forty fifty million like, it's they're trying to say the reviews of it. It's, it's tough. And then you got next week. You have minimum black international in. It's been a long time since we've had a minute, black movie. And we got us, Chris. So a lot of people are looking forward to that. Yeah. And seeing how he does and Leeson I like him. Oh, yeah. I do too. But I think it's, it's, it's got a tough road. I think Disney's just going to eat the money on this one. Yeah. They I don't think they're to ward, no engages. Out word. No, they're not worried after their what sitting right under. I think that's like two point six. It's under. They got a lesson. One hundred million to be avatar really. Yeah. Wow. It's is it out of theaters. Completely. No. Oh, so. But I heard Loewen down. Yeah. I heard the projections were still saying it won't beat it because I don't know. We'll see I once everything said and done, and the dust settles. I guess you could say on engage. Then we'll see where. But either way goes, it's number two. I did hear a crazy thing that they're thinking lying king could beat it which I had no clue. It was tracking that high numbers. I knew lying king was tracking. I knew it was tracking better than Aladdin was because when they when they release these because there was a like I said, there was three live action, Disney Dumbo Aladdin in Lion King, those were because they were all being released within a span of what for move for months together 'cause Dumbo was back in March, then you had may for Aladdin and then. Giant. Or is it this month? I thought it was this month. I can't think is that is at the end of this month. Yeah. Into this month, I think, okay as far as I know, but either way goes were lying. King is looking like it's going to be really big. There. We still got Toy Story Toy Story for next month. I, I have a lot of hope for toys story four I at first I was kinda mad because they kind of ended it. So perfectly with three. Yeah, but I don't know. I, I don't think they would just write a Pixar doesn't usually just ride a movie to ride a movie cars. Gosh. I that that series terrible to me. They should've stayed with one. Yeah. One was okay too awful in three. I didn't even see it. And then they try to go off with planes. But I mean other than that. I mean that's all I got on it. I mean I don't yeah there's nothing more much to say because it's just it was just so bad. And I think the studio FOX even thought that too, they didn't even send us know Pearl MOS for. That's a pretty bad sign. Yeah. They sent us a Cup of posters. Hey, this is all we're giving. I mean they didn't they didn't promote this very well. No, it has not been promoted, and we didn't have we didn't get anything. We got a big bushy like a big oversized poster. That's all we got to put on our wall. They didn't give us anything. There's no standi. There's no promotional items to give out. They didn't give us nothing for there was absolutely nothing that, you know, for it. So it was it was pretty evident that they were not expecting much out of those. Yeah. But it would said. Man, we were a little excited last week. Yeah. We were because no reviews come out yet. Yeah. And but he, we've had a couple of few movies in a row that we've haven't been too high. Oh this. The summer opened up big with mean in game. Yeah. John wick three gosh. I want. And then it just went downhill fast and Pok Mon looking better. I know. Yeah. Really book on look, honestly, it's better. Yeah. Poke him on definitely better than expected, better than Aladdin, probably to me, honestly, hand. Well, I'm man I'm hoping men in black is yeah. I got a better. Yeah. 'cause I can't get were down for on this. Thank you can go worse than what we're there's no way if, if men in black is worse than dark, Phoenix. We won't even do. Shut it. The only one I know is going to have some hopes as Spiderman far from home, and I am excited about that. And we just watched the trailer we had a trainer on mad about that. I have been, I don't watch these these other trailers, and I was sitting in there, my friend. He he's so dedicated to the no trailer rule, he walks out during the trailers movies. I'm not as dedicated. So sometimes I'll just like look down and not watch it. But I, I was like, okay, what the heck but. Pretty pumped. It did. Yeah. I'm excited. I think it's those movies have been so good. And so, yeah. That will definitely bring a bright spot to the summer, Scott. It's got to. And I'm hoping with, you know, Toy Story and, and everything like that line king. Yeah. We still got several good movies coming up. So there's, there's some sun shining through the dark clouds of dark Phoenix. Joe? But well I mean until then I'll definitely talk to my friends. See if we can get him on his thoughts, because I'm real serious because he is he's pretty big on it. And I know he wanted to come on I asked him, but he was on vacation. Also, he was interested. He was. Oh, yeah. He was interest. He was definitely exciting, so he wanted to definitely chime in on it, and I think he would have had a lot to say. I think there would have been a lot of debate. Oh, you think so, I think so. Okay. I. I don't know. I'll put my bed on. He probably will slam it as well. Kind of I think he's gonna be disappointed. But I'll talk to him tomorrow. I'll try to go in and see, see when he's gonna come see it and, and try to get him to phone in next Thursday. Cool. Maybe I'll try to get them to do the men in black review. But also, we want to kind kinda do a you know, a little side bid what he thought of it thoughts on dark, Phoenix. Yeah. Looked at up. It's July nineteenth line king. Okay. July. So we got a little bit. Yeah. So I think July's gonna be big. We, there's a lot of story. So I think July is going to bring it June struggling so far. We need some good movies this June. Yes. But. All right. Well, I think that's all we have for today. Unfortunately, we have no giveaways. Thank you FOX. Blamed dark Phoenix, dark Phoenix is fault. But until then we will be back next week to do the minute black international review. So, so until then, thank you for joining us on the plaza park. We'll see you soon..

"Fallen at lisa's beeping and things fall in love with all souls or beings fall in love without any expectation of game four window by that to avoid born in low offers booed affection and have fallen now first of all with yourself. Hi there this riady back with another episode of phoenix rise from your own ashes before they begin to remember your victory tree lies in holding yourself together even after falling numerous times in this episode we will talk about how to heal a broken heart and say goodbye to be and you know you are healing and you don't try to forget because you're okay with remembering so in order to heal first of all for you. Forgiven is the first step towards healing no matter what the nature of your penis forgive the person who caused you pain without wishing them back forget to boston for y'all auden peace and wellbeing in order to understand why forgiving is important think about what happens when you are angry with someone you keep going to the buzzed lost recollecting what caused the pain and how much it told you you keep thinking about your perpetrator. You keep fighting with him. Sometimes with them mm-hmm sometimes with yourself. It is a constant fight within you which keeps you risk this and causes more. Can you ever heal could keep scratching and you're not only linda. The woman get was same goes with emotional being on the contrary. When you forgive the person take a step away from queen and the process of detachment begins now. Let's talk about how to forgive as easy as it sounds. Sounds forgiving someone who put you in the situation where you're keep aching stuff. How can you forgive someone. Who else did you heart and soul. The answer is yes. It is a mind game. You have to daniel mind that it was not the person but the situation that for strong the same person must have been good to you somebody the same person must be good to somebody else. Instead of blaming the person accept what happened as an important lesson that life wanted to teach you for your own growth food clear your head of any negative with deanne in your head forgive us. You don't have to wait for them to apologize. You don't have to go to them to dowden that. You don't hold any grudges against them anymore. Just you have to know your don't lose once you forgive. It is important that you don't go back to the same person you go to the same person who broke because you think on lead them we can fix you. You blame yourself thinking. It was a fault in you that made them change that there was something that made them love you and if you become the same pushing you work they will also be the same person they will use stew cling onto those moments that brought to closer in tings quit for some time without realizing that the time has passed the boston has moved on and and it's wendy you who is insisting on being stuck binning force hope on reunion contrary to what to believe the truth is that you need to distance yourself from your source of damage to repair in here you need to move away from that person and move on to all yourself to deal with the pain that the spokesman has caused i i know it's easier said than done and when i talk about it i'm new outside. Oh i've been there. I have been through it. I've experienced every every single moment and every hour of being very deeply and so when i say you need to move will be a newborn nor that i'm speaking from some experience. It just got to cherish the happy moments that you spent with them but it is polished to forget the cause of the pain that you are today. It is wrong to rethink being from the same source twice despite being aware but before you try to delete the entire chapter from your life let's post from the cherish movements when you were in love and you'll love and happiness who need to keep the feeling and confidence that you can love your dissolve and you will get from the separation. You need to learn to be able to live without someone. You have to learn that nobody can be there for you want the time one set knowledge leaves in it. It is important that you don't use another person and don't jump into another relation do not rush into another person complex immediately up to one relations and this is not your heart but your mind trying to seek the same love attention and emotion support trump. Some other source do not use another person to get to with the person when you love the fact is that at this point you're extremely vulnerable and you tend to fall for anyone who softwoods after on what does he. We need more than love this. You will not only make a wrong decision for your so but will also be unpaid to the person you coming to no. Let's understand the metal forever see would hurt our expectations for april which has no definitely forever has no fixtures and impact back. There is nothing called for for example two best friends thing the friendship would last forever what they mean is that it would last to die but dodd awed going to die at the same time. Eventually one of them will die but the other it wasn't a forever and he's left wanting to be but it's time signed for him to make new friends. Maybe involve more reduce what they're now. You may blame love enable to feel it again but you have to be courageous. Here's enough to take another shot at to dissolve. You have to love again. You have to fall in love repeatedly till you begin to rise and for this time mm-hmm. I have a few precautionary measures to suggest firstly. Don't be ashamed of love. It comes with a shock to me that people today are ashamed of love out of loving someone of having feelings for someone and of their own need awfully tough. Love is the most feeling in the squad and you should only only be proud if you're able to feel for someone say guindi save yourself from getting attached to a wrong person getting dash to a wrong person. Can it'd be extremely dangerous. They was dating and damaging for retrial. Choose your relations by sleep. You may think that it's not in your control but let me tell view it is who need to decide to take charge and lead. You need to quench asleep. Decide who you want to get involved. Do not give into a moment of attraction infatuation or inclination attraction is natural and obvious but you have to decide who you want to invest in just as your questions just by making any monetary investment be more cautious and careful by making emotional investment wanna see off now. You can't fall into a river mm-hmm. Next new. Expect from people say do not expect. I say why not it is very natural and obvious for anyone to expect absolutely normal forget humans. Even any modes expect feed the dog twice and he will come every day at the same time expecting food. What an expectation shen. Is it not another form of hoop being hopefully with motor mounts identity that the other person in reciprocate your feelings emotions and services. Let's in fact expectations. Help us have better and stronger relations. What would a person mean to me. Were expected thing from with expectation. You please a lot of faith and confidence and that relationship if i'm dating a guy and i can't expect him to women importing pod and what do i need him for dwy. Not expect a reminder tone of passover assist to my company. Do i not expect from my own self. I won't say won't expect expect. I say no who to expect from one to have been belittle and disappointed by someone there is no point holding on and infect no fall in the world expects picked from everyone we ourselves by default selective we choose awful are fluids our profession education and people likewise we we know what to expect from and before we expect me invest where the financially intellectually or emotionally when these expectations are not don't just let it goi- drop in visiting the moment you stop investing you stop expecting. It's like you will not expect interest from the person. You never lent money to well. That's how how the brain functions next. Take responsibility not blame. You have to know the difference between taking responsibility and taking when you took responsibility for everything that happens to you you please yourself at the superior position where you have the baltimore your life events on the other hand. When you take blame for everything that happens to you you start looking down upon yourself in belittle your own world so i read take responsibility huddling became the home you see become the home that you wish to live in this time to non build a home in manila. Be the home that you belong to be your own. Source source of comfort happiness enjoyed to just in case this person moves of yours not adjoined. You will not feel homesick. You will be as happy as you will with them now. Let's talk about who to love. Love yourself is divorced answer. Give yourself warm that you would give to the person you love the most. I pamper yourself. Libby would bump with the love of your life. Look at yourself asmatullah mauritian as they would look at the person. You need a deeply poor. Love your said said the week you would love the person you love the most accept yourself in the most undesirable cheapen situation love yourself before anyone this also noth- the people who love you it is as important love the people who love you as it is to love yourself. Most of us are actually thanou drowning after people who do not know our most of us are baking someone to stay when they are showing cedo interest in being part of our story. We are making ourselves. I self victim by focusing on wrong rectors when we can be the heat whose if only we start reciprocating defection to the same people. We are receiving frahm tom. We are crying for someone's attention acknowledgement and affection. Why do we have the choice to spite love for people who believe in us who love us remember that you will never have to beg someone to stave the belong to you. Remember that there are people who are dying in crying for your love just as you crying inquisitiveness late can become so much easier. If only they begin to make choices that bring smiles pot sufferings remember to love the people who i love you. This is all for this episode. I'm sure will help you heal and feel healthy both mentally and emotionally i pray to the unit us to bless all souls and beings who are in pain. I printed the almighty bless us peace and positively she had this podcast with others and help them true. They cannot be a gift more precious and more tuition. "Welcome in to another episode of the ch- pod hair Phoenix with the new head coach for the Phoenix Suns. Monty Williams Monte. How are you wo- gem Wellman thankful to be on your podcast and certainly thankful to be a head coach again here in Phoenix? When you wake up in the morning now as a head coach is a whole different burden. What am I gotta get to today, especially when you take over the lots of things you've got to, but is there a different weight on you in the morning when its head coach it is because I have to not only be responsible for the leadership of the team. My role is also to provide for Sistan coaches, and their wives. Opportunities for them to be successful and get their kids set up and, you know, all that stuff, and it's important stuff that we have to do in, it's a privilege to do that. And at the same time, I'm dealing with a lot of guys who want jobs and the toughest part about coaching that we don't talk about is having to cut players that work their tails off, but just aren't good enough. And tell guys know that I can't offer them a job. And so I've been doing that. You know, thankfully, I'm in this position to be a head coach, but, you know, a lot of my time is talking to a lot of coaches and really qualify guys who could help your staff, but I had already targeted a number of guys a few guys that I wanted to come here to Phoenix. And so that part has taken up a lot of my time and then just. My family situated, they're still in jersey. Some of get them down here in June. But that's all good stuff. People knew you interviewed you met a couple of times, the Lakers, you met a couple of times with the sons, and in the end you decide to go to Phoenix, the questions that you had to ask, Robert sovereign the answers, you need it from him based on the body of work in what had preceded you your fifth coach in five years there. What did you need to know from him? What were the questions that you had to resolve in your mind before you would take that job for me? It was always about us, having a partnership, and that was the thing that Mr. server conveyed to me in our conversations and we, we had really good conversations, not just about basketball. We talked about family. We talked about the history of the team, we talked about our personal issues that we've dealt with in our families..
