They're also not to concern of the numerous Corona virus variants out there. The B 1617 variant might seem especially dangerous. It's believed to be the one that has devastated India this spring, and it's now been detected in Oregon. The concern is does that this variants flight? Also, the B one on seven seems to spread more rapidly among unvaccinated people. It's believed to be more transmissible. Dr Ken Steadman says there's more of a reason for optimism because in Oregon variant is encountering many more vaccinated people than in India. I'm not terribly concerned about any of these, mostly because the vaccines seem to be working really, quite well. State health officials agree. In a hearing before state lawmakers, Oregon Health Authority director Pat Allen gave an update on breakthrough virus cases and why no particular variants are to blame. There is no evidence at the national level that any particular variant Um, more likely for breakthroughs on there's no evidence to suggest that these cases are resulting in in additional spread. It's an assumption and there are people who've done really good models, and some of them have been right. The fourth wave of infections may be about to plant toe and Pat Allen with the Oregon Health Authority remarked, All of the numbers have got some trends to them that that are encouraging. All this being said Oregon had nearly 900 new infections yesterday, and Washington had almost 1600. The numbers remain high. I'm an optimist. I'm definitely hoping that thing's gonna come down and they will stay down. However, Professor Ken Steadman still has doubt vaccination levels aren't where they need to be for a consistent path forward, he said. That leaves us constantly debating whether to step back or not. She says it's too hard to keep making changes, especially because finding an employee right now is not easy. You just don't have people who are willing to come to work. They're still making more. "It it is a spectacular book Patricia welcome to the program great to be here with you you say in I mean in the in the foreword to the book your mentor Dr Pat Allen writes that dreams are the most important way to get into our deepest secrets and hidden truths or hidden thoughts could you explain that and defend that statement yes indeed well dreams are indeed an excellent way of getting in touch with our sub conscious otherwise known as our unconscious but some people know it as the sub conscious and it's really the back door entrance to our six cents which is what we teach we teach people to get in touch with this sixth sense through green and and to cultivate it through learning to capture your dreams and understand what the messages are yeah you know most of us think of some we have some weird dream and we kind of toss it off out what the heck it was kind of funny or weird or whatever but you make the point in the book that through every culture in human history dreams have been basically sacred and a even now are modern shamans psychoanalysis things of that sort regard them is really important to understanding us that's right that's right this is a dream world is really at at an opening to another dimension that is trying to help us understand how what how we're dealing with our waking line what's going on in our waking lives are are motional state are decisions were making on everyday decision to important life decisions and sometimes we ruminate we don't know what to do but if we get in touch with this expense who the dream world we really we can expedite our route to understanding and reaching our potential you had a really bad experience as I think a youngster a teenager and maybe you weren't even a teenager then I'm trying to remember but I it's a memory that you basically repressed but it was a very I had a very weird ending to what could have been an even worse experience and that sort of help set you on the road to this can you share with us what happened absolutely this is actually I would not five and five years old and was kidnapped and and molested but I had an experience that was really turned out to be a blessing and that's what saved me was this voices that I heard at at the time of the experience and and I shared with the kidnapper ice at all they're here to get me they're here for me and he was so real he believed me because they're right here right that they're here and he often ran so it's unclear to me so this guy he pulls you into a kind of an alleyway and is going to do some really bad even worse things than he already did but there's a voice from the sky and all of you have just heard it or did he hear it too I don't believe he heard it that he believed me that I heard it because I said all the great fear I wish it was so believable to me that he believed me and I was looking up where it was coming from I said right right over there I was down in a a huge drainage ditch in Los Angeles when we're in our neighborhood where I grew up and where he took me to look for his so called I'd be and and he I stood there right there yeah he's my brother I think it might be my brothers here and and he he ran how did this experience man it manifest itself in your dreams how to well yes yeah later down the ongoing I had I had a recurring dream many of my clients now talk about their recurring dreams and from my own experience and then later on working through it or to dream work the dream was such I'm being chased and on the child and I'm being chased buy it old which are the classic old which with the word on the nose and that is stick and the scary face and this went on for years this is a recurring nightmare and I would cry and my mother would come and say all the things all right I would throw the which changed the and I would be doing that or running flying motion Mike I was jacked off the ground and women like swimming flying and just out of reach of the which well later down the road and it came to learn that that was the the trauma the post traumatic stress green which IT help people quite often with PTSD dream now and I worked through that to understand that with the dream was trying to bring me with the message that's not my way of escaping the the fearful thought in this image the which represented scary thought Gary frightening thought and I was able to get away from my scary thought by going up into my head and swimming running away from the scary miss we're gonna break down some examples of that a little bit later first though it's sort of an overarching question you you make a comparison of the book the dreams are like somebody that finds a bottle on the beach and the bottle has a node in it and written in a language that we don't understand right this is what dreams are dreams come to us in symbols and why you come to a dream analyst to learn me and this is why we give workshops I teach this to their appearance than other coaches to learn how to translate the symbols in two languages it's understandable to realize that these symbols that sometimes the symbols are scary sometimes they're not scary but the symbols are messages that can be translated and correlated toward waking life so we dream all the time whether we can remember them or not and you make the point in the book that there are several sources for a why we dream at lot of theories and I've read I remember reading it one theory that dreams are a way of discarding information that our brain doesn't need anymore a job I'm not sure that that I that I can agree with that because a lot of the things that I've dreamed are definitely information I want to hang on to so describe for me the the sources of dreams where they come from why we have them and they were gonna get into figuring out what they mean okay well the tortures of dreams and and our turn the way we teach it I had come to us in terms of in in a hierarchy of people nature and things so people one where people are dreams that stock a bit closer to understanding the message that it the then we could have nature that would be trees rivers mountain nature thing okay then we have things a table or chair car okay so then you're further away from getting the last and when it things so that the hierarchy and then how the symbol come to it so when work will gradually incrementally being ready to here the messages that is going to bring us to higher consciousness or understanding of wife went and and other dreams an entirely internally generated they're coming from our own heads yes more often than not but not a hundred percent a kind but I see ninety ninety eight percent of the time that is so we are and we are distilling our brain and are unconscious and mine is distilling what how we are perceiving the world how we are reacting how we are feeling and thinking our ideas and our feelings about what's going on in our lives our relationship our job our our choices in every day life so and why do we have a my man is it yeah I think you said it's in part to gauge our relationships but it's also like sort of a pressure valve and relieving stress evaluating emotional stability all of the above and more maybe that's right that's right and more now as people become more adept at Leah understanding their dream they they can I say it that way of honing your sixth sense and some of my clients start hearing from some of their business calling I have a one caller one now a client who is that a business mogul and he's been working with me for several years and his partners and business partners say to him now you are are you are you psychic or something how how do you know how to make it how do you know what's going on in this is that this is a very successful guy but he has been really really diligently keeping a pad by the bad doing it dreams every night hi touching base with me and holding his own guilt to to open up his own conscious and know how what direction to take it in the course of that businesses in business transaction and other relationships earlier you turn it way to expedite you're you're your your track expedite your sort of the processing of information processing information but as it's so far it is advances if you didn't have this in touch with the young conflict like this you're just ahead of the game you know there's a you know you in the book you mentioned that the term us sleep on it which you know is it's a lot of truth to that I can think of one of the struggling with writing a particular I chapter a story or something and just can't quit quite get my head around it I'll just plant the thought in my head and it's amazing how often you you wake up and it's it's basically done it's written it's organized right this is what we did we we teach this the system in our workshop and my client is to plant the seed in alignment now the Lyman state is that state of consciousness between sleeping and waking waking and sleeping so before you go to sleep we say to do just that say what it is you would like an answer to what what it is you want to resolved or what you want to come up with for instance the the sewing machine I came to Mr how in a dream he had it so but it wasn't a dream exactly about a sewing machine but it was came in symbol he dreamt of eight he was in Africa natives were chasing him with spears and there were hold it and like I did with the needle in the tips of the fears and when he woke up he knew he had solved that what he was trying to figure out how to make an automatic sewing machine so that was the night and a damp all of the example of dream coming in symbols for your your purpose for your business or I am I right about that I've read about musicians song writers who well Paul McCartney yesterday came to him out to dry it out and Lee and other songwriters who it just it a song will come into their head and is there when they wake up and it's all one all written it's like they tapped into something exactly so anyway so back to our our system you plant the seed in your linemen state before you go to sleep and as you're going to sleep you contemplate.

"And it it is a spectacular book Patricia welcome to the program great to be here with you you say in I mean in the in the foreword to the book your mentor Dr Pat Allen writes that dreams are the most important way to get into our deepest secrets and hidden truths or hidden thoughts could you explain that and defend that statement yes indeed well dreams are indeed an excellent way of getting in touch with our some conscious otherwise noted are unconscious but some people know it as the sub conscious and it's really the back door entrance to our sixth sense which is what we teach we teach people to get in touch with this ticket sent through dream and and to cultivate it through learning to capture your dreams and understand what the messages are being asked you know most of us think of some we have some weird dream and we kind of toss it off out what the heck that was kind of funny or weird or whatever but you make the point in the book that through every culture in human history dreams have been basically sacred and a even now are modern shamans psychoanalysis things of that sort regard them is really important to understanding us that's right that's right did they they dream world is really at at an opening to add another dimension that is trying to help us understand how what how we're dealing with our waking line what's going on in our waking lines are are motional state are decisions were making on every day decision to important life decisions and sometimes we ruminate we don't know what to do but if we get in touch with this expense who the dream world we really we can expedite our route to understanding and reaching our potential you had a really bad experience as I think a youngster a teenager and maybe you weren't even a teenager then I'm trying to remember but it's so a memory that you basically repressed but it was a very I had a very weird ending to what could have been an even worse experience and that sort of help set you on the road to this can you share with us what happened absolutely this is I actually I would not five and five years old and was kidnapped and and molested but I had an experience that was really turned out to be a blessing and that's what saved me where there's a will voices that I heard at at the time of the experience and and I shared with the kidnapper eyes that all they're here to get me they're here for me and he was so real he believed me because they're right here right that they're here and he often ran so it's unclear to me so this guy he pulls you into a kind of an alleyway and is going to do some really bad even worse things than he already did but there's a voice from the sky and all of you have just heard it or did he hear it too I don't believe he heard it but he believed me that I heard it because I sent all the great fear I would it was so believable to me that he believed me and I was looking up where it was coming from I said right right over there I was down in a a huge drainage ditch in Los Angeles when we're in our neighborhood where I grew up and where he took me to look for his so called I'd be and and he ate I stood there right there yeah he's my brother I think it must be my brother's dinner and and he he ran how did this experience man it manifest itself in your dreams how to well yes later down the ongoing I had I had a recurring dream many of my clients now talk about their recurring dreams and from my own experience and then later on working through it or to dream work the dream or as such I'm being chased and on the child and I'm being chased by old which are the classic old which with the word on the nose in the air stick and the scary face and this went on for years this is a recurring nightmare and I would cry and my mother would come in and they'll be things though I would you know that which JP and I would be doing that or running the flying motion Mike I was jacked off the ground and women like swimming flying and just out of reach of the which well later down the road and it came to learn that that was there's the trauma the post traumatic stress dream which IT help people quite often with PTSD dream now and I worked through back to understand that wouldn't dream was trying to bring me with the message my way of escaping there is this fearful far as the in this image the which represented scary thought Gary frightening thought and I was able to get away from my scary thought by going up into my head and swimming running away from the scary miss we're going to break down some examples of that a little bit later first though it's sort of an over arching question you you make a comparison of the book the dreams are like somebody that finds a bottle on the beach and the bottle has a node in it and written in a language that we don't understand that's right this is what dreams are dreams come to work in symbol and why you come to a dream analyst to learn me and this is why we give workshops I teach two therapists and other coaches to learn how to translate the symbols in two languages understandable to realize that these symbols that sometimes the symbols are scary sometimes they're not scary but the symbols are messages that can be translated and correlated toward waking line so we dream all the time whether we can remember them or not and you make the point in the book that there are several sources for why we dream but a lot of theories and I've read I remember reading at one theory that dreams are a way of discarding information that our brain doesn't need anymore I guess I'm not sure that I that I can agree with that because a lot of the things that I've dreamed are definitely information I want to hang on to so describe for me the sources of dreams where they come from why we have them and they were gonna get into figuring out what they mean okay well the sources of dreams and and our turn the way we teach it I had come to at in terms of in in a hierarchy of people nature and things so people one where people are dreams at a date closer to understanding the message and it's the and then we could have nature that would be trees rivers mountains nature thing okay then we have things a table or chair car okay so then you're further away from getting the last and when it's things so that the hierarchy and then how the symbol come to it so when work will gradually incrementally being ready to here the messages that is going to bring us to higher consciousness or understanding of wife weapons and other dreams and entirely internally generated they're coming from our own heads Hey yes more often than not but not a hundred percent a kind but I take ninety ninety eight percent of the time that is so we are we are distilling our brain and are unconscious and mine is distilling what how we are perceiving the world how we are reacting how we are feeling and thinking our ideas and our feelings about what's going on in our lives our relationship our job our our choices in every day life so and why do we have a my man is it yeah I think you said it's a in part to gauge our relationships but it's also like sort of a pressure valve and relieving stress evaluating emotional stability all of the above and more maybe that's right that's right and more now as people become more adept at Leah understanding their dream they they can I say it that way of holding your six fan and some of my clients start hearing from some of their business calling I have a one caller one now a client who is that business mogul and he's been working with me for several years and his partners and business partners say they have now you are are you are you psychic or something how how do you know how to make it how do you know what's going on in this is that this is a very successful guy but he has been really really diligently keeping a pad by the bad doing his dreams every night hi touching base with me and holding his own guilt to to open up his own conscious and know how what direction to take it in the course of that business is the business transaction and other relationships earlier the internet way to expedite you're you're your track expedite your sort of the processing of information processing information but as it is so far it in band if you didn't have this in touch with the unconscious like this you're just ahead of the game you know there's a you know you in the book you mentioned that the term us sleep on it which you know is it's a lot of truth to that I can think of one of the struggling with writing a particular I chapter a story or something and just can't quit quite get my head around it I'll just plant the thought in my head and it's amazing how often you you wake up and it's it's basically done it's written it's organized right this is what we did we we teach this this system in our workshop and my client is to plant the seed in alignment now the linemen state is this state of consciousness between sleeping and waking waking and sleeping so before you go to sleep we stayed to do just that say what it is you would like an answer to well what it is you want to resolved or what you want to come up with for instance "And it it is a spectacular book Patricia welcome to the program great to be here with you you say it I mean in the in the foreword to the book your mentor Dr Pat Allen writes that dreams are the most important way to get into our deepest secrets and hidden truths or hidden thoughts could you explain that and defend that statement yes indeed well dreams are indeed and export way of getting in touch with our sub conscious otherwise known as our unconscious but some people know it as the sub conscious and it's really the back door entrance to our six cents which is what we teach we teach people to get in touch with this sixth sense through green and and to cultivate it through learning to capture your dreams and understand what the messages are bringing us you know most of us think of some we have some weird dream and we kind of toss it off out what the heck that was kind of funny or weird or whatever but you make the point in the book that through every culture in human history dreams have been it basically sacred and even now are modern shamans psychoanalysis things of that sort regard them is really important to understanding us that's right that's right this is a dream world there's really at at an opening to add another dimension that is trying to help us understand how what how we're dealing with our waking life what's going on in our waking lines are are motional state are decisions were making on everyday decision to important life decisions as sometimes we ruminate we don't know what to do but if we get in touch with this expense it was a dream world we really we can expedite our our route to understanding and reaching our potential you had a really bad experience as I think a youngster a teenager and maybe you weren't even a teenager that I'm trying to remember but it's a memory that you basically repressed but it was a very I had a very weird ending to what could have been an even worse experience and that sort of help set you on the road to this can you share with us what happened absolutely this is actually I would doubt five at five years old and was kidnapped and and molested but I had that experience that was really turned out to be a blessing and that's what saved me was there are voices that I heard at at the time of the experience and and I shared with the kidnapper ice at all they're here to get me they're here for me and he was so real he believed me because they're right.

"This one dog in a shelter. I I really forgot the area. This is a true story. True story. Okay. This dog was in a shelter and it kept getting out and disappearing. Grinding away. They kept bringing the dog back every time. He was adopted. He was adopted and he would run away from the home from from the new adoptive. I go back and write either he didn't come back, and they found him or whatever. But this went on three or four times what maybe five times it was ridiculous because there are some shelters if the dog is a little aggressive. They won't have him adopted, right. Just the matron of the the shelter. So with this particular dog everybody who adopted him he got out, and he ran I mean, there are some dogs that are runners. Yeah. Like elephants they're running away from something to something and they would bring him back to the shelter. And they decided that they weren't going to let him be adopted. So they kept is a shelter dog. Do you know that he was the welcoming comedian s all the dogs something about him that? You know, a lot of these things. I mean, listen, we've all seen it, you know, the ugly side where they shake, you know, and they won't eat, and they got those little puppy. Do. I mean, you know, you live with somebody eleven years, and all of a sudden, they go on vacation, and they come back with the puppy, and they don't want you anymore. Those people are dirtbag horrible a family member. Then they were never a family. People don't deserve to have. Oh, no. Oh, absolutely. No children children. Well, that's. Because you never know. But that's what this dog became. That was his story. He became you know, he was the welcome. Yes. Was that was his job? And he knew it. And he knew it before anybody else knew it. He knew what he was supposed to do. And it was supposed to be the the greeter the front door greeter. Yeah. And do you know that keep on bringing up my mardi? But that's what he well. He was so he's such a sweet dog. They would take him out from the back, and he would lie in the front end nothing that he would greet everybody. But he was just a big presence. You know, what animals you never know what type of person inspires in animal get up wag their tail and have a connection. Well, you know, I tell a web slowly, and I told you it took almost a year before he went to jail he took almost a year before he barked. So I know I told you the story that is not one of my pet peeves. I think animals should be able to speak. Yes. But now a bark dog all night is not that's never mind because sometimes. Oh, no. Thank you. Yes. Yes. I did. Yes. Adele barking dog breeds people have to be aware. There are some brief migos. They how how they they have. How will it's like a howl at the moon. Oh, it's hysterical and button. Dr. But they, you know, my parents got a Trikala collie before I was born. And I learned how to walk on him Brucie. I mean, the dog was absolutely gorgeous. We had him for thirteen years. We're talking sweetheart college, and you know, collies, and you know, it's making a comeback last. Yes. German shepherds, the German shepherds, you know, what German shepherds called German shepherd dog terminal. So you don't think of of what of a shepherd shepherd outside with his hurt. They are the only animals call. I have never heard the name with German shepherd dog. Yeah. You know, when we talk amongst ourselves, you'll say yes, and they are very special. Then you've you know World War Two that was that special dog. And that's what inspired Rin tin. Tin. Yes. My favorite show is a kid love. Now. Lancy? I mean matter of fact, I forgot the Newstead. Yes. Mr fiori. Let's keep going. Panic. Liquor liquor flicker is off of a woman who ha-ha-has been they were newlyweds. I think they bought a ranch in Montana, and they had a son and the son found this. He let them pick out this boys, and it was like a flicker and it brought the kid out of himself. Oh, well, that's a great story. Great okay old yellow, let's another one. Another one yellow wonderful dogs stories in wonderful Fazio the best. They. Dog movie. A what was it with Tom Hanks who chin whatever? Yes. Yes. Can't remember, I can't guess there's a great great movies. Dourson baby cell. It's true. It's when you get older love apy. I don't know who can't smile at a baby. No, absolutely, correct. So right now. Then we had then we had a standard poodle. He was a little Tara. But you did really and dogs. Yeah. Now, my parents did not let us have any pets. When I was which is probably why I ended up having so many when I could it's so funny, but it's very funny because you are three sisters and you've had three dogs. I I've had more than three dogs, but you've had three dogs at one. I've had three dogs at one time. Yes. And it's funny because my my oldest is not a pet lover. But I'll tell you to her credit. She always let me bring all three dogs when I would visit her, Alex. And she says a great sister house house. She's phenomenal shout out. I feel I feel sorry for people who have Pat Allen. I know I know. Is hard. It is it is. But she would let me with the cats. I think she stayed. Age eighty three day, she when she comes to take some medicine, and she she deck's out. That's it. That's it. But it's all in your clothes and. Yes, vacuuming before they come. Yes. There are some animals that are very good for allergy. Oh, yes. There are hypoallergenic dogs that are very popular. I certainly like if you had that standard poodle and many dogs labradors it'll Kuka Dino. Even reading cats. Well, you gotta be. It doesn't have. I never saw cat. You know, what I think I think it's a ragamuffins face peeve. Heke pep peeve. I have a pet peeve about some of these designer dogs. Because. You could look at pictures. I, you know, you could look at pictures of all terriers grandmother had a terrier, and they look nothing like the terriers today the whole like they look like a schnauzer. Well, look what happened with the whole dog. Yes. Absolutely so pet peeve. Is absolutely boxers. They Brignone boxers. Yeah. And they and they read the of them. Yes. Yes. So that is a pet peeve. I I'm with you on that we can really across the line in these designer type dogs. So I I agree with you on that one hundred percent. But if I knew then or I had. You know, would be wonderful your favorite animal to clone them. Yes. That's it. That's a well. I'm sure secretary Zona would like to have done that. Saberi belmont. That would be great weevil. Absolutely. That's a different story. Totally seabiscuit. Absolutely beautiful animals. Beautiful will be coming up to. What is it? What is nice? But I went well with the horses are the Kentucky Derby may. Oh, yeah. We are coming up to me. Oh my goodness. Cheryl. Well, we're not have you ever been to the Kentucky. But that is on my wish that's a doable wishlist. That's. You'd have to really get a place now like last year last year. You know, if you stay far enough away who cares? Yeah. I would I would love right show. We'll have to see about that. I think that would be on the definitely on my list. All right, okay. Better than than climbing mount Kilimanjaro. On. I'm with you.
