Fresh update on "panthers" discussed on Ground Zero with Clyde Lewis

"Race capitalism. And so the Aquarian conspiracy declared that there were 15 million Americans. That were involved in what was called the counterculture back in the sixties and at that counter culture was pretty much wanting to create or start. A revolution, but they don't know how I didn't have the material necessary to start an organized revolution. It's theorized that the revolution in the experiment that they wanted to put forward Had failed in the 20th century. And then there was the 21st century. And then the sleepers within the old revolution were supposed to rise again and finish what was haphazardly started back in the 19 sixties. So while many have praised the Aquarian Revolutionary book for positive and Constructive Use, There are others who saw it as a guide for the program flower Children to rise up and begin the task of the collectivist open conspiracy one where the world will come together in common cause. Sylar What was predicted in the writings of Karl Marx? Doesn't that make you kind of wonder about why the last 40 years radio, especially classic Rock radio has not changed in all these years. With all the music and what it meant for the counterculture. Think of all the flower Children. Think of the reflections back to the seventies. Think about all this still being pumped into the mindset. Of those who live in these progressive times. The Maryland Ferguson, the woman who wrote The Aquarian conspiracy course. The book again is in our library it aftermath on media. Maryland. Ferguson wasn't asking. We have a revolution based on the marks his model? No. She was looking at an internal process where if you were disillusioned, or if you were a hippie that wanted to make things change the new society would be created with sort of. Ah, I guess you could say aye. Agreed upon view. All this exceptionalism that America had and how Ah, coalescence of his social order would make America the Great Empire, the leading empire that would bring everybody to the fold. It would be one big, happy family under this umbrella of the Constitutional Republic. At least that's what I gather. But the counterculture was actually program to not think that way. They were actually in some respects, And if you read some of the papers that the CIA was putting out they were creating sleepers. And killed for sleepers. So we're basically programmed to destroy the hippy culture and bring in a new revolution. One of those, of course, was Charles Vansen. Manson was a programmed CIA operative. It was there to destroy. The summer of love and to bring about this new revolution, Helter skelter and Helter skelter. Well, was that there was a race war and he was thinking we'd bring about the race war Were blacks fight against whites. We don't have another civil war. And Bam! They'll be able to bring in the ideas of Hagel. The ideas of Marx The new Marxism would begin. But apparently Charles Manson failed when he was he did destroy summer of love, but he didn't bring about the revolution. Now, many years later, we're seeing that the revolution has started again. By the same people have the same ideas as Charles Charles Manson. See when you look at the flower power off before it is now that replaced with anarcho communism. Antifa and black lives matter. Of course, are now the names we associate with the movements rather than the the you know, rather than like the Black Panthers and the weather underground and all these other groups. This would explain why we're seeing a repeat performance of protests and demonstrations in the streets. Is all the generations or part of the counter culture, encouraging younger people now to participate in school walkouts. They're encouraging them to have hunger strike's getting involved with violent police. Uprisings, marches, peaceful protests. All these things are going on, basically going back for that nostalgia that never existed. So this was a long term programming process. That's the theory, 40 years after the Aquarian conspiracy was published. Many of Maryland Ferguson's forecast for change and become social realities now spurred by the student movement of the sixties, But we have the new Age movement, the movement of the sixties. All of this by the educational transformation and the control liberal media. America is down being change gradually. Why what is called the people's cynical conspiracy blindly led by the media schools in the power elites, Most of the people are simply drifting along. He really didn't know what was happening was that we were headed for.

Fantasy Football Forecast: One BIG THING you should know for every Week 2 matchup

"I sit out the way New Orleans versus Las Vegas raters. We saw New Orleans showcase really really solid, really great defensive performance against Tom. Brady and the buccaneers They were pretty on disappointed as a team, lot of penalties on their defensive side of the front. The saints rebel to take advantage of that. La Raiders played against the Carolina Panthers last week and gave up thirty points. It's very possible that New Orleans doesn't look as Resi as they did against a really solid defensive front in Tampa. Bay and they might have their way with a raiders team that is still kind of pretty young and trying to get their footing and all this stuff. They don't they had an injury to majority of their wide receivers in the last game. So Dan, Waller seems to be their only solid option. At the receiving side of things that might mean there in Waller's uptick in target's share and my means, he gets an ends on this year or this week maybe something good happens for him I'm buying all the stock now I'm Kamara right now for this game, this should be Alvin Kamara. KAMERA's two touchdown, a hundred yards from scrimmage plus game. This is this is the one I wouldn't see why would be any otherwise and to be quite frank. I think that a lot of players on seem to have a really big game and this would be a really fun game to see trae Kwan Smith. I'm going to bring them up again. This'll be a fun game Trey Smith. Look to be a solid. Relieving game just for brevity and sake of saving saints, fans of fantasy fans alike, some worry as to what the saints offense can look like without Michael Thomas Soaking up a lot of the defensive pressure. All right. So Fancy implications all over the place you know Josh Jacobs. This could be a really good test to see just how much they believe in Josh Jacobs as a pass catcher because I don't know how much he's going to be able to do in the run game considering New Orleans is when had and still does on one of the better run defenses in all the football. I think the best game. Pound for pound this week has to be the night game on NBC, where New England is playing against Seattle that they're going to be playing in Seattle New England the we have a kind of banged up cam and she says it's the there's no hamstring issue but. Of Most people are saying that he does, Kinda. Have a little bit of a hamstring thing going on and we'll see how that affects him with all read option stuff and what we saw from last Sunday's performance maybe we started to see cam throw a little bit more, and then we can really see just what this doing his offense really has to offer for them sure that bill will have them ready for whatever and we saw sea hawks offense that basically let Russell Wilson do what people have been asking. Them to let Russell. Wilson do for basically the majority of the back half of the dense. You know twenty seventeen was to let Russ Cook and Cook did Russell Wilson? Do He only missed four passes? He had A. Great amount of yardage great touchdown passes de que look. Nice at times he did have some drops of course, Tyler Lockett looked really good. Chris Carson looked amazing. In the past game. We had some really good screens run in for touchdowns. They got tight ends involved the plethora tight ends at the seahawks own and their defense was literally flying around all over the place. Now, there are a lot of garbage time touchdown stuff in that Falcons game that I'm not GonNa hold against the defense when it mattered. Jamal Adams and of course. Everybody else in that defense just looked phenomenal. They just looked physical. They looked like they were flying around and making plays they look very formidable as team very formidable. So. That is a game as the May have a lot of implemented implications on things so KEEP IN MIND I think one of the better secondaries in the League is New England's granted they played against. The, dolphins but they did not allow that many receptions or receiving yards at all for either receiver on the dolphins and Tyler Lockett, and care very athletic fast guys but. It's going to be tough. Is GonNa be a tough about we'll see what happens. They may have to change up the strategy of leading Russ Cook for this game in particular and work through the old tried and true run the ball and try to make something happen later on in the game. But for US Russell Wilson owners like myself I hope they just let him throw the ball a little bit more that'd be nice. That would be fun I think we'd all like to enjoy that. So moving on towards another game I think the Baltimore Game at four, twenty, five eastern standard time on CBS is going to be a good one, Baltimore versus Houston. This game can go I think Houston is a team that kid look Jacqueline Hyde and they've been jekyll and Hyde ever since the Shawn Watson is come on that team and. Not Sage. It's the Sean played bad last Thursday. But he definitely did not look comfortable one hundred percent of the time and you just was trying to make plays. His offensive line wasn't there fully stout at all and when it was time to just throw throw throw things Kinda got out of hand for Houston Houston can't be a team that gets to behind too quickly or else it is going to be nightmarish for the offensive line. And it's going to be a bad day for Shawn Watson even though he can make miracles happen at will while Samour's in perfect position to take on a team that showcase bad tackling display. So this is a team. So if this is the time where you want to be like, okay JK Dobbins, he didn't have that many targets but hey, he got two touchdowns in is the time to test out the JK Dobbins is going to be. The album? Kamara. To Marketing Rooms Mark Ingram. So we'll see what happens here Lamar he this seem doesn't tackle well, Lamar could have himself a anywhere closer to forty to fifty yards rushing easily against this team if he wants it, and of course, Mark Andrews is a guy who I would think would eat very well against the Houston team that allowed drivers Kelsey to get like five catches in the first half with ease marched up and down the field with ease Look to see how David Johnson looks in his second bout. David Johnson had a nice surprise of a Comeback Week one performance that a lot of people were speculating was possible and he delivered for the most part. So that was encouraging for many people to go ahead and see so I wouldn't. Put it past him to do it once again. That's really really against the I think that Brandin cooks is still a bit. So that would not be. Great for folks owners. And I would be looking at anybody who has. Willie snead Willie snead was all over the place last week and it was almost to a shocking amount of how much willie snead was dependent on and I said Willie snead. That was not who I meant to say I meant to say will fuller will fuller will around the field for the Texans last week and I would like to see him continue that stretch because that would be. Pretty awesome to be completely honest. I. Would like to see a will fuller healthy and showcasing that he is here to stay in this league and thus it would not make me feel nearly as bad for short.

The Broken Hearts Gallery: Inside a Swoon-Worthy, Selena Gomez-Produced Rom-Com

"Have a movie trailer to start with for the first time since mid March unless they missed it last week. And I missed last week. No, I was offering. We're doing good brother. Yeah, it's called the broken hearts. Stay up. Pay was going on here. We bet on all your relationships. What? How do you think I afford this lifestyle? You have a good relationship because you're constantly morning. The old one. You keep something from every relationship. You need some sexual history. Water. What are you going to do this stuff? Why don't you leave it here like art in a gallery? Broken heart broken heart gallery. You know, when I hear this, I always try to figure out who the actors are in it And I can't recognize anybody. Good luck. Yeah, that you were talking about the broken hearts galleries. Rated PG 13 Lair. And it stars a girl by the name of Gerald Ing. This wetness in burned that Peters has a little has a little role in this film, and she's interesting, but this is a romantic comedy Larrin. Let's start off by saying it's a good film. I mean, it's going to leave. You kind of feeling good. It's funny, So it's that kind of dough, but what it reminded me of most was, I don't know if you remember last year. It was a movie called, Isn't it Romantic with rebel Wilson? The reason I bring that up is because in that movie, you had a character rebel Wilson's character who lived in New York, but it wasn't a romantic comedy setting New York It was well, New York the streets stunk. There wasn't a coffee shop on every corner there. You know the sun didn't shine every day. There wasn't fresh cut flowers every time he turned around. But until she was in an accident, you got hit on the head in the subway station. She wakes up to this romcom world where the sun is shining and everything smells great. And then there's the meat cute and there's a karaoke saying all those things you see in a romantic comedy, but that's what you get in this film. It's the romantic comedy world that they push and they go overboard with it. But the good thing is it works. So you have a young girl who is going through a break up. You know, and she's she's comforted by her friends. She meet somebody, You know, there's there's all the different scenes and you know you get to karaoke scene. You get the coffee shop scene. And at the end of the day. It's that kind of thing where the thing that you're looking for has been right beside you the whole time. So it gives you that whole complete romcom package And maybe right now, Larry, this is what we need. Yeah, I think in Times of high anxiety. You know, if you look at the film history, that's what people really need A release and films were supposed to be entertaining, sometimes educational, But right now, people could use a little laugh, don't you think? Yeah, You know, this is the first release that's outside of that genre that we've been seeing most recently where theaters have brought back a lot of the movies like Black Panther, The Avengers Air You know these types of films and this is the first time in so many months that we've we've had something from a different genre. That kind of you know is going to touch the heart. Give them different people an opportunity to go see this film in this film. May you do well with the fact that there's not that much competition right now.

Black Gun Ownership Rises Amid Pandemic, Protests For Racial Justice

"A record number of Americans have purchased guns this year including Black Americans from K. N. UNC in northern Colorado Lee. Patterson reports that incidents of violence against people of color have pushed some to purchase guns for the very first time and warning to our listeners. There are sounds of gunfire in this story. What type of gun is? So this is a Smith and Wesson nine millimeter shield cat trailer bought her handgun this past spring these as she practices at an indoor range with her husband like it's no big deal. But talking through her mask trailer describes how she felt the first time she pulled the trigger is beyond terrified shaking. Hands were sweaty. Trailer is a democratic political consultant who lives in Colorado. At first, she was nervous cleaning and shooting her new gun. And she had a bad experience, the first range she went to she says people were staring she felt unwelcome. Still regardless of the anxiety I had around. All those things. I got into this because I feel like it was necessarily trailer I started thinking about buying a gun when she saw empty grocery store shelves at the beginning of the pandemic. Then she watched racial justice protests unfold across the country. She started thinking about pushback from people who disagree with those efforts if it looks like communities, of Color and people that support communities of color are rising up against white supremacy that could be a problem for us is. It's probably time probably time for them to buy guns a thought that many other Americans have also had in. August. Alone people bought one point eight million firearms according to industry estimates a trade group called the National Shooting Sports Foundation reports the gun sales to customers have grown more percentage wise than for any other racial or ethnic group. With. Her New gun trailer wants to feel like she has a chance during a home invasion or an encounter with police. What we as the family had to determine is, how do we WANNA die? Instead of look at it that way. DO WE WANNA die not being prepared or at least trying to protect ourselves. That's how you weigh that as part of becoming a new gun owner trailer joined the National African American Gun Association Philip Smith is the founder nationally across the board from all over every state. We have people joining all times a day night. You know I I thought something was wrong with computer. Smith was watching membership numbers rise after the death of George Floyd may but black people have been using guns for hunting and protection for a long time historian say that Harriet Tubman carried firearms so did the Black Panthers in the nineteen sixties these days according to a Gallup poll released last year nineteen percent of black people own guns. Smith says his members are not monolithic. Some women join because they've been sexually assaulted some women join because they wanNA teach you some men join because they want to just get really good at self defense people are joining now for different. Reasons some want to support the National African American Gun Association Financially Smith says for others it's more spiritual I. Think people were looking for a home a place where you can kind of event you can belong where you felt your mind having a relief of some sort Bruce Tomlin a truck driver who lives in New Mexico describes his decision to buy a gun response to stress. I'll just say amounting society He felt that way after watching cellphone video showing the death of Ahmad arbitrary a black man who was shot while jogging through neighborhood in Georgia earlier this year don't. Go around arm the rest of my life. That's because he's been feeling under attack for years after the two thousand, twelve killings of Trayvon Martin, for example, and after the mass shooting at a black church in Charleston in two thousand, fifteen by a white supremacist goes like I can just be mine them all business. And if somebody who's a racist, just decide to roll up on me gun meet down. As is decided that like if I go out I'M GONNA go out shooting back. But now that he's an actual gun owner, it's not so straightforward day to day of feel like I can defend myself better defend my loved ones. But I usually get comfortable having it sometime he does not want to kill or injure anyone open carry makes them nervous I would never take my gone to the grocery store and carry around inside or anything like that. But on the other hand I could be in a situation where needed still out in the car or whatever I just like knowing that I have it gun ownership is complicated for Tomlin especially because he's black if he was stopped by police says, he probably wouldn't tell them that he had a gun. And catch trailer says the same thing giving the example of philander casteel he was shot during a traffic stop for years ago in Minnesota after telling an officer that he had a firearm, his car casteel did have a permit to carry it. Cat Trailer believes that gun cost him his life we're not given a fair shake when these conversations are happening automatically worsen tensions are assumed just because we're black, we're gun owners for both of these new black gun owners. It's an identity that comes with risks, but does make them feel safer for

By went back and watched the onstage interview you did with him at the Apollo. And one of one of the things you said there was you sort of started off by saying because it was about Black Panther obviously, and and you said something like I didn't know that I needed this movie until I watched it you know and Kind of wonder how much of that? Connected with him being in that role or just. Yeah. No I mean. I would that was part of it. You know what I mean chat always had like this kind of you know otherworldly About himself. When he got past it's not like I was like, oh, he clearly can't this. You know what I mean is I said it was unexpected. You would be on this rise like this. I. Guess I'm more doubting. The system Hollywood. I think like an by point or somewhere around I point started writing a comic book. So it was like crazy. No One at Marvel Knew About Chadwick Boseman's Illness

"This week we're talking about the late Black Panther Star Chadwick Bozeman who died a few days ago at age forty three after a four year battle with colon cancer. Chevy Bozeman was. Jackie Robinson he was James Brown. He was Thurgood Marshall he was Challah. You was minore. And now he's no longer with us We're just now learning about his colon cancer diagnosis in two thousand sixteen the same year that Black Panther went into production, which means that like he never spoke publicly about it and also like you're just. I think a refrain over the weekend like all of our across all channels social media was just like you never know what someone's going through then. Dog this is like an extreme case of that because it's not just he never spoke about it. It was the fact that he will multiple rounds of cheap like he was. I don't know you've watched five bloods. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. I'd like his. Spooky. So, Spooky. It's so spooky especially because those means character stormin norm is one of in Easy Company soldier of Fortune and the Vietnam War who Basically is the voice of reason from beyond the for all of this company base that like includes Isaiah with lock junior Delroy Lindo. etcetera etcetera etcetera. But anyway, he's just kind of like speaking from beyond the grave about how These people as black men are to conduct themselves. So that's just like very it's a lot to deal with like if you watch it again. Not, just as a spike Lee joint that came out during quarantine but like as a posthumous bozeman foam. Yeah and he walks to that movie with the Halo basically giving these these milestones about black pride and dignity and America and civil rights. And God is that there is no spookier performance. One could have either final performance before passing away age forty forty-three. Like totally undisclosed cancer

Welcome to the USA

"Whole over WANNA. Welcome to another episode of this week in travel. My Name is Gary coming to you from the lovely state of Wisconsin where I have nothing but beer cheese and brought were since I have arrived. And that is legally the only thing you can eat here we've been or not. That chuckling voice you hear in the background coming from the land of smoke Mr Chretien. It's not just smoke also smoke fire and really hot but other than that. It's a lovely time to be in California. You don't say really in California you'd have flares. Wow. We have guest we had over the last three days. I just saw the number I. Think it's ten thousand different lightning strikes. Ten Thousand Eight, hundred, and forty, nine in a state that tends to get one thunderstorm every three years. So that's a little unusual for us. So you're making up for lost time. That is correct I believe it's also possibly the end of days that is. We're expecting frogs next. It's twenty twenty. I. Think those guys are going to get nailed with just a massive earthquake. This year I was one of the Salton Sea and they said, you know that's the kind of one of the anchor points of San Andreas fault so could happen. It. would be the capstone in this year. It would just you know. I. Think I things that could happen. But yeah. Well, speaking of which the man will go into the sea when that earthquake happens Mr Spud Hilton. From San Francisco. He's he's technically on the North America Plate. The senator is just misses San Francisco. At thank you for Thanks for pointing that out that that is great comfort. Father had a theory that everything from the San Andreas Fault East would fall into the Pacific Ocean. Your father was rather unsuccessful land speculator is this. Yeah. He he hopes trade I think that was pretty much the deal so We're doing okay here in San Francisco but I'll tell you sky is never been a well, not never been hasn't been this color in a couple of years put that way. It reminds me of the last time I was in a in New Delhi. They were burning the fields. It's it's that sort of thing. I'll here. It's just nice. It's like in the seventies everyday and it's just it's just really nice. Panther Schools? In all seriousness there they had a vote wants to what to put on the license plate in one of the options was. Which I really supported. Packer fans you'll ever that I'm sure our guest. This week are two of the most all American. American people I know of America's Tim Tamsin Meat Pies. Gene Craig Makepeace. From. Why Travel Pod? We're doing pretty good. We actually in Raleigh north. Carolina and we had north quite last week. Yeah own tropical storms earthquakes we got it all. Tony Warnings Yeah we're pretty. Steady. Well. I have a theory that everything evens out in terms of like bad weather. So like California you may you know have earthquakes But. Other than that. It's just really nice So you have it very nice and then you have these punctuated really bad things and here it's just kinda crappy like every year and that sort of what evens it out. So. I. Think it all. It's just in what sort of dose you get it. But yeah expose you guys didn't sign up earthquakes when he went to North Carolina. Now, we're expecting nine hundred. Ninety trimmers you know luckily, we're actually on insight forty on the way to the bank so we didn't feel anything. We escaped with a couple of hours best leave. Well. Let's go to our first news story while we're on the subject of. Extreme weather. the hottest temperature perhaps ever recorded certainly the the best the highest verify temperature on the planet earth was this week in death valley in Furnace Creek. Where they got a temperature of one hundred and thirty degrees Fahrenheit or I think it was fifty four point one degrees, Celsius. Which is Crazy to hunt. Every. So often they have these these heat waves that come through valley, and so there was always a news team there and they try to fry an egg in a frying pan. Just. Left out in the Sun. And I just before we got on I was watching CNN try to do this and it actually didn't really work. They had like a black frying pan and they cracked an egg and like some of the white parts of the egg started to cook and that was it.

"In in these people's free health clinics as well as I mean. They were not the only ones with these. But but I think you have to to draw some parallels there. As just a kind of an ending to the story and I I think that again. This is one of those areas where. I remember one time my grandfather gave me a book called lies. My teachers told me. And, I thought it was a very daring book for my grandfather to give me when I was young. and it was based on the idea that the history. You think you now is not the the truth. There are lots of things that have been filtered especially in this case through the lens of white supremacy, and taught to you as if it is the only truth, and you don't know the whole story, and I think that in that spirit learning more about the Black Panthers Organization was part of what I wanted to do. To do the show the film that I watched in addition to reading, was the Black Panthers Vanguard of the revolution. which if you're interested in learning more about the Black Panther, party I would highly recommend you watch this documentary. There are lots of interviews from some of the key players in the party at the time. to to kind of give you a better understanding of. Not just the organization is an abstract, but the the people who were in it and what they did, and what they were able to accomplish and what their goals were More on an individual personal level I I really highly recommend it. the as the panthers grew and expanded their goals as they were achieving all of these things that. The government was failing to achieve on community levels They got more support from the public at large They began to work with other liberation movements. They began there were international chapters. They spoke out against the Vietnam War It initially was very male movement. It was a very kind of macho, typically male thing, but at its peak, the majority of members would be email, and so even though that was still a struggle at the time there were there were definitely the beginnings of Women's Liberation Within this movement as well females taking some of the more. What you would consider like masculine roles, carrying guns, guarding the Party and men, taking over some more traditionally female roles, feminine roles of like Cooking Breakfast for kids for you definitely saw those beginnings. what would the what would eventually be lead to kind of the fall of the party? in part was largely due to FBI interference J., Edgar Hoover and then eventually Nixon they used something called. They use a counterintelligence program that was called coin. Tell pro and This is something that any of our listeners of color probably already know all about but I. Bet a lot of our white listeners do not know much about and I obviously. Fairly will I in what that is, but I would love a recap for the listeners. So, this counterintelligence program were was basically made up of F.. B. I. Agents Finding ways to dismantle the Black Panther party from the inside because they saw them not necessarily as a violent threat, although they may have said that that it was really a threat to the status quo and a white power. It was a it, they they their ideas were garnering widespread support, and they didn't like that, and so they found a number of ways to vilify the black..

We turned over tables. We burnt stuff end quote in time. The Father Hertzel Cohen found success in business and in politics ethics becoming the deputy mayor of the Tony Community of Sione Farrakhan was a brilliant student and got a law degree in two thousand eleven. He volunteered his services defending the protesters arrested in the social protests a couple years after that he started an NGO called coming to the bankers although a more accurate if less literal translation would be trolling bankers he started out of the group after being sued by Bank Leumi for outstanding an unpaid loans when he didn't pay the money bank thugs and Repo asshole started harassing him and his partner including shooting repossessing a piano that she'd had since before she ever met him for his sensible debts so the first target of coming to bankers was then Coo of Bank Leumi Rock Effort Rosiak Nah Cohen and other activists organized protest after protest outside our house harassing folks as they went in and out soon the group turns the tension two other bank executives harassing them at home work in the street and online rich bank executives flip the fuck out and they sued Cohen to cease and and does this th they took out restraining orders this led to a series of show trials in which Cohen defending himself Abbie Hoffman the executive producing some brilliant and very youtube a political theater the financial paper the marker chose Cohen is one of Israel's hundred most influential people now. Predictably an impressively in charmingly Barack Cohen managed to turn the hearing last week over the request for a restraining order into high quality political theater he managed somehow both to use the courtroom to make Prime Minister Netanyahu look like a crook and tweedle Prime Minister Netanyahu son of Nair Fair to admit that he really in the end wasn't actually harassed. It was a bravura performance still somewhere near the end of very bewildered of their Netanyahu said this this quote I got no problem with what you are saying and the accusations you make about my family. I get up each morning and I hear them. I have a great deal of patients and openness to a hearing these accusations I live with it. My father chose a political path and therefore he deserves criticism. My friends who I grew up with since I was zero. Tell me these things to my face and that's fine my brother also made political choices and so the accusations he gets including from you are entirely legitimate. I did not choose a political path one time at an event in honor of my dad had I said to him how much I admire him. Among other things a leader like hundreds of thousands of other Israelis I didn't choose to say something political. I will never go into that field. I would not do that to my future family or to myself. I won't do that to myself and quote. It was a little heartbreaking. The judge gave up their Netanyahu's restraining order for six months. Cohen has to stay a football ballfields and a half away from the kid since then though it seems like everyone has been debating the issue some say the kid is clearly suffering and he's done nothing wrong. In general protests loses its legitimacy when it harasses acids innocent People Cohen Netanyahu and on Rochefort Rosanna. Sometimes bring social change. You gotta be sort of a Dick because pickiness conserve a higher good so friends I present you with the age old philosophical conundrum pondered by Plato and Aristotle Nietzsche and Kirkegaard. Do the ends justify. The Dickie nece was Barracuda right to ruin their Netanyahu's dinner and will some greater good be served if together either we all harass often they're gone. What do you think look? I'm GONNA confess. I feel a little bit badly Froth Natanyahu not that he you know needs my sympathy or my my my expressions of support but he has clearly staked out his claim to be a private citizen and seems almost wish that he had been switched at the hospital when he was born and didn't end end up being you know the sun the sun and the prime minister so what can he do but this raises larger questions they think first about the role of civility within you know the activists movement today that's been entirely abandoned. You're allowed to do whatever you want in order to achieve your goal and I think it Israel we're seeing a lot of other incidents not not necessarily related to this. We can even think about what happened on the Temple Mount over to Shabaab of a claim that the ends justify the means and you know I'm frankly I'm a little bit sick of it in the end. If you have no integrity in the path that you choose to achieve your goal on to me it just doesn't justify the dishes all right. I'm going to begin again by going out on a tangent and then come back to the question okay so besides the much repeated discussion about the borders of legitimate protests specifically regarding block going I think that the most most interesting aspect of his activity in the strong feelings and reactions as as in this room it's met with is actually one anthropological nature more specifically about the borders order of politeness manners and niceness as I see people are driven crazy by Bala coin from the left and the right because he repeatedly breaks some of the most basic get unspoken rules of Human Conduct Personal.

"I mean going into the season, I think everybody bucks fans, look that the division and thought that you know, the bucks would definitely be the worst than then that the same of the falcons on the Panthers would you know, sort of battle it out for the top three spots, and they were all potential playoff teams the now boy the falcons on the Panthers are bad. And so that was unexpected. And not a lot of fun for anybody. And I do think it is worth pointing out that both teams have suffered injuries throughout the season. Some pretty significant, you know, the falcons injuries are pretty well documented the Panthers I think suffered quite a few on the offensive line very early in the season, which arguably could could have been a big contributor to Cam Newton's getting banged up throughout this season. So let's talk about this game though. This is interesting falcons are five nine the Panthers are six eight. So a win by the falcons, essentially ties them, but would put the falcons ahead because they would have the better NFC south records to the falcons with actually the. Have the potential to finish second in the NFC south, which I don't know that that's something. Either team wants this point because they're essentially playing the sells out of draft position if they win this game, but that's a completely different conversation. So let's talk about the falcons offense going up against this Panthers defense, and to me this is one of the this is interesting because Brian last week, even though it was a loss. The pit Thor's defense actually held New Orleans to twelve points in Carolina. They they really really stymied that normally high scoring explosive saints offense. So what was the story there? What finally clicked that that defense showed up in the big way against the division rival? Well, the secondary showed up number one. Dante Jackson had himself a really good game as the Panthers second round pick from this year. They managed to get forced turnovers. They got they had a couple on top of the. Two point conversion return by Dante Jackson, which turned into two points for the Panthers. Front seven wasn't all that great. They still managed to get after breeze a little bit. But for the most part, it was just a it was just a herculean effort by lewke cly who had one of his best games ever. And the secondary finally playing up to what they seemed like they had the potential to be earlier in the season..

"Panthers. Go first quarter fourth into the fifty north Turner dips into the bag of tricks, douse this up Christian McCaffrey the pass that goes for a touchdown. It's seven nothing Panthers vote. Right. Fourth quarter. Camara capping off the eleven play drive with a sixteen yard run to take the lead Panthers, though hung around down three that was one last chance. The drive ends with an incomplete past saints hold onto win there. Now one win away from clinching the one seat on the other side. The Panthers playoff hopes just about done here is Cam Newton after the game. Biggest is heartening for me. Just because so much invested time that you put any. I know you don't want to you don't play a role as game. But we just gotta be I got to be better. I got to be better. And that's that's what's so frustrating. When you want so bad, and you push. You you put so much on your plate. And you know, it doesn't come down to you. But at the end today just got a poacher into the bargain. Obviously my arm hasn't allow me to do a lot of practice. Been on a pitch count for for longtime. But it ended today, you know, it is was it is. But that's not that's not that's not know scapegoat. That's not something. I want people to bet me out on it. It's just something that is reality. Stink. Cam Newton spent a good deal that press conference talking about the shoulder. We don't know how long it's been bothering him. But what has happened to this team to not only came Newton put this Panthers offense? I mean think about this week one. They lose their starting left tackle. And they get a guy off the street who shows up Wednesday and then plays every play. Yes. On sunday. And again, we just talked about backup office of backup office of Lyman from reason, and they have the right tackle and training. Right. And so they lost a lot right tag on that and move the backup. Who's actually played moten is played really well over I take, but they have had a lot of issues up front. So that's been a big issue for them on the office of side of the ball. I will tell you about this. I appreciate the fact that Cam Newton is playing with a significant injury. And I will tell you how difficult it is to play when you're injured when you don't get to practice the difference between me. Playing injured in Cam Newton playing injured is there's a there's a difference there. Because the position I played even if I can't use great technique because I don't get to practice. And because I'm injured I can turn everything the position I played into a street fight. I can bloody your nose and the bottom line is. I mean, great out very well. But I won't cost my football team game. You can hide your injuries in that little phone, Brian because all the years you had of not practicing, and honing your craft as a guy who's gonna be injured is not going to be practice all the time, but steal the efficiency were expecting that. So but. Tricks. I would've but I look at the quarterback. I looked at the quarterback position man, you're out there in the open. And now all of a sudden, you gotta shoulder that's truly bothering you..

"So you couple that with a pretty strong Brown's offensive line. That'll probably do a decent job against the Panthers pass rush and on paper. This looks like a not so good match for the Panthers. Yeah. The browser kind of good at will wear bad at you know, defending like we talked about the buccaneers last week. Like David joke. Who's also he hasn't been super involved last couple of weeks, but he's very athletic. Big play. You know, capable tight end even on short passes and stuff like that. And we're not gonna covering tight ends either. And then Calloway's big play threat. And we've been like I said we've been like horrific defending deep passes. So that they have a lot of they have the tools to exploit what we're what we're bad at which is a lot of things right now. But but yeah, the defense I will say this the defense did look a little bit better last week. They did stop run quite a bit. Nick Chubb is going to be a big part of their offense. I would imagine they're going to come out with a better passing game plan. Now that Ron Rivera the one thing I didn't I forgot to mention this earlier. But Eric Reed said this he heard a play called during the game that they hadn't practiced. He knew that something was going on with the defensive play calling. So it sounds like Ron Rivera almost took over a little bit earlier than like he wanted to. So maybe and this is maybe more of an optimistic take for the defense. But maybe now that they have a week of knowing. Okay. Ron Rivera is going to be involved. They've game planned a little bit for that. And had him had his hands in there more. Maybe they'll have a better game plan involved for stuff like that. So that's one thing that I'm kind of hoping to see is like maybe an improvement on this defensive performance had against the buccaneers. Because despite everything that happened. I don't believe the Panthers defense lost that game because they pant. The Panthers offense gave the ball away. Too much. I'm just wasn't affected. So on it. I want to read more about that him saying we call it a play the we haven't practice sets a little odd. He didn't say we practicing. He said it wasn't a game plan. Yeah. You said it wasn't the game plan and say that's where having an experienced defensive coordinator comes into your benefit because Washington's not experienced enough to know. Hey, the what we're doing isn't working. Let's change the game plan and do something else. And you know, this this right here worked five years ago. The last time we played Tampa in Tampa in this situation. So why don't we do that? And or you know, this this is been known to to rattle. Jameis Winston things like that. Then only experience content you, and it's not Washington's fault is just you know, he's he's inexperienced. Yeah. That's so it's like Ron Rivera just kinda took over in the middle like our air. Let me let me let me. This. I mean, the defense did play better in the second half. Yeah. A lot of people is it's a split issue. But you know, if Cam Newton didn't have the worst game he's had in probably four or five years minimum. You know, we've probably win that game. Like Cam is pretty much. The reason we did not just to give you the quote that in the offense lineman. The offense of line didn't give him much to work with Cam throwing four interceptions. That's pretty much all does take some of the blame for two of those because he had hit his through. I don't know where what all of them would have been anyway because they look like they're going to be tough throws, even if he didn't get hit. But anytime you let your quarterback a hit as he releases. You're leaving yourself open for the past going to the wrong team before we didn't want to derail this too much. But I just found the quote, it was for max Henson. Eric Reid's Senate was clear Rivera was calling planes last week..

"Panthers man, Pat, Baldwin Milwaukee back home back in the states to take on the Drake BULLDOGS. We'll talk about that in a minute. The coach what a incredible opportunity for you. And for these young men over the last week or so just to give us a little synopsis. Just a little short thumbnail about the experience. We'll get the basketball in the second. Yeah. You know, first of all it's great to be back in the friendly confines of panther arena with you, of course. But the experience that we had going to Belfast Northern Ireland is something that you can't take away from our young men and the guys experience if they had it was a tremendous opportunity for them. We got a chance to speak with some some kids, and and work with them on different things and talk to them about kind of you know, what what makes our program run. Our our guys all get along because we all know about kind of the political state that they're in and somewhat even save religious Therion. With a separate separatism. But it was it was a great experience where very well organized a tournament was and as we mentioned before this is going to be a trip that they'll never forget. They might forget a shot they made or missed, but they'll never forget the experience of going over there as a team and in experiencing something different. Meanwhile, a couple of games against now at top twenty buffalo team and a very good Stephen F Austin squad. The as those two games on folded. You guys were right there had lead late first half against SFA four point game with about eight minutes to go against buffalo and just a run by your opponent in both games was kind of a difference. I it definitely was the difference. If you backtrack to buffalo. You know, like you said we were four points down with eight minutes to go, and we had three straight possessions. Where we didn't get anything out of it. And we left him off the offensive side of the floor and in buffalo came around. I think they made three threes in a row or started to push the lead back up after that. And we just couldn't recover obviously, incidentally, tournament team in a five seniors on their squad. So it made it difficult. If you weren't executing for you to win in that game. And certainly the same thing with Stephen F Austin, we we would count thirteen turnovers that led to sixteen points for them offer their turnovers and that was the difference especially in the first half when they shot thirty percent in the first half, but still were up five. So we would have taken care of the basketball. Maybe we'd have been up ten or maybe be a different story, but very good programs that we played instead caliber teams and for us. It was a great lesson for what you need to do in order to try to win games. Like that. Tonight, a five and one Drake BULLDOGS squad comes in here. You get a little help back in the back court. I know you're excited about. Yeah. We're we're excited to have Bryce Barnes back, and that will certainly help. Darius ROY and give him some rest when he needs because he's been logging a lot of minutes. So to have experienced also for some of my Bryce to know what you know, what we're expecting of them will be great for us. And I think it'll be a great addition to what we're now formulating with our with our starting five and our rotation. It'll be great to have him back mentioned Drake with a five one record daily returned one starter. But putting up some big numbers with Norton and with McGlynn, especially leading the charge. Yeah. Those have been really good, especially Norton when you have a a quality point guard that comes in and runs your show. You know, it really makes a difference with a lot of the guys you can see what mclennan's at fifteen a game, you know, Wilkins's at eleven and even knowing someone who's putting up his nine points to ten points per game. Game. And you know, but I think it starts with with Norton McLean in the paint. He's really been doing a great job for them. He's even trying to step out and shoot it not shooting a great percentage. But still looks competent in shooting in his last game against north North Dakota state. He may three so we have to contend with that. So those two are our key. But also they have some other guys that can really that can play to and we have to contend with them as well. One Murphy twins out the other twin will start coach best of scale against Drake. Thank you very much presented. We'll continue with more from panther arena. In a moment on news talk eleven thirty w I s end the iheartradio app. Good. You're practic health center is a.

"On jesus. No way to go. I jumped on the bandwagon the union vited me onto basically, this is your and wag. Right. And you know, what you should have been like if I did all this mess. It up. Should've stayed on. I didn't know that my hundred sixty five pounds would cause the bandwagon to collapse Cam was stronger than that not about your waves. If I show essence like you, just broadband vibes. My. Pash your broadband? You persuaded me to do everything we're doing here today? Vo and yourself word versus you'd have malleable first name the Steelers, Pittsburgh did crush the Panthers. Fifty two to twenty one last night and afterward. Mike Tomlin said, quote, probably not that good and quotes. So Bo how good are these Steeler. I mean, he's right about the fact that they're not that good. This wit for being down seven nothing. Too up fourteen seven in the span of one play from slimy. It was absurd. What was happening? They were killing the Panthers secondary of after we had said the defense is probably better than the other. Out here and a little ice with cheese. We talk about the Steelers when they don't play. Well, we talk about the when they're Mr. chaos what we know is they have all kinds of firepower. What we did not know whether they hit a defence and defence look bad early. This year looks good. Now, we were texting about the game. While we were watching this watching our predictions and our enthusiasm go to the wayside, and yeah, they might have dropped seventy on this team both they really really wanted to. And the only argument I think that backs up Mike Tomlin here is that. If you see this team as a stock. It seems clear that they are peaking because this is just such a high right now peaking assuming that this whole thing works on up down sort of mad recognize this is good as they are going to look, right? And it's fair to have a game where everything is going every day. It was a great day at work. Right. You hit all the stop lights. Your song is all when you turn on the radio. Everything went right for them in the course of this game. We could expect it you know, they play like this every week. We'll yeah. Of course, if they do, but the. Fundamental parts seemed to be there for this team. And that's what you deal with go along run them. Yeah. Big ben. He's not going to have more touchdowns. Incompletions? I would say again this season. I feel confident predicting that. But this defense is five straight weeks. Now bowl of them being really really really good. And this offense offense of wine gets complicated. Now, James Connor gets concussed is out. But. Oh, I'm glad you brought that up while the it don't matter if the Bill comes back like this is in a position where people get hurt. Right. Like if Levy Bill goes back in time to play James congress out published complain, you think people are going to do because that do that's behind James cod. This idea that you put anybody behind that line. They run the other dude isn't as good as James Connor, right? Like that everybody not he's not probably a guy who came. But the obvious point to bring up though, is that James Cotter should make it such that Levy on bell already knows nothing to win willing. He's not gonna come back to the sealers who's making the arguments gonna come back to the Steelers nobody thinks that's going to happen. But this we don't need. This. You always need. Good players watching that due to the tunnel in. The course of that game. Should be your reminded win this due back. They'll be salty for a little bit..

"Eagles dominating time of possession worked in our favor. The anti Ron Rivera game. I love it. Because because they took they were taking because they've thoroughly dominated as often simply defensively, but they took so long the score that by the end of the game, they only had like four drives. And so we didn't have a lot of ground to makeup on talking about the ton of on the on the field to between like didn't Elliott Nisshin. Missed field goal to be fair though. It was like twenty mile per hour cyclone like win like that's not a joke. Either. I was walking. I had went out to grab stuff for the game. We'll just say stuff not not legal drugs. Just some beers walking from my car to my house, which was roughly maybe twenty five yards at went from very calm winds to having to avoid a trash can flying at me. Like it was it was legit. Like that wind was not they weren't kidding about that at all. I mean, it's possible. Somebody threw it at you, though. I mean, I am a terrible person. I'm often referred to as well. It's not what you are. But you live in Pennsylvania. So you don't have to be a terrible person. The thought of somebody dislike laying in wait, wait to see Brian. And then just hop out amount of blue trash kit. That would be the greatest thing ever. It could have been. I mean, I just saw nothing come flying. At me. It was my trash cans, and maybe one of our roommates threw it at me. I don't know. Is rebelling about stuff you throw into it? You had a problem with all the trash, and it's putting in there. Yeah. You're right now, the time possession actually came back to bite the eagles because this was a very big defensive game. So it was kind of defined by big plays. And while the eagles made a ton of big plays. They didn't make the big plays to get touchdowns. Because this this should have been a blow out like the eagles absolute cylinders on offense. And they were being very aggressive two. They went forward on fourth down. I think it was like two or three times in the first half. Like it went for twice in the same drive and got it. So. And that's what I'm saying. Like if if it scored liquor. Got the ball back like more frequently before they upped away the end like we're probably looking at like a like a thirty one thing or twenty four nothing Olers. Yeah. It just didn't have enough chances to alway which part of that is the Panthers taking out. But like the eagles punted. It was the first drives fable attempt to they missed. Touchdown field goal. Touchdown. They could have just kept running up the score. If they got the ball more. Yup. And for whatever reason I actually wasn't super down on the coaching this week. There were a lot of plays on first down where it ended up being a five yard loss. And it's like that's really hard to come back from against a mediocre defense. And the eagles defense is pretty good that front sevens nasty. So filing the fourth quarter when the offense of line started to hold people down and the it helped the eagles went into more of a prevent defense too. But the offense actually was not losing yards on the like half a first down on a given play. And that that seemed to help as well. We'll see I'm still I'm still down on the coaching because we didn't start actually doing anything until the fourth quarter. And we were down seventeen nothing, and you made a good point part of it was because the prevent defense, which pro tip coaches future coaches future players, the only thing the prevent defense prevents as you winning the game. Just get that out eagles fourth quarter game threat told me I saw that so many times had absolutely it. It's absolutely true. The only thing the prevent defense prevents is winning. Don't do it. But anyway. We didn't start doing things that teams who win games do until we got into a seventeen nothing whole. And I'm not taking anything away from the eagles defense. They're really good. That's not the point. We saw the hurry up. No huddle. We saw more shots down field. We saw all those things when we were in a seventeen hall. Why why aren't we doing those things earlier in the game to build a seventeen nothing lead?.

"Your official. Carolina Panthers cat scratch reader podcast. We're here to break down. A surprisingly. Fun Panthers win on Sunday. I should say it was fun in the fourth quarter in the first three is sucked. But I'm joined by Brad, Brad. How are you doing this evening? I'm okay. It sounds like you, John. How are you doing? Pretty good. I do say I do wanna say about the fun part like that game. Like the fourth quarter was worth watching like Sunday night. I went back and just watch the fourth quarter all the way through because that was. Well, the fun part for me too. Is that I live in Philadelphia eagle country. So I was getting shit the entire first three-quarters from tons of eagles fans. So. Yeah. That the last drive was was nice fun. Little fact to this dude that I wanted to have on the podcast at some point. He he bench. We were talking about it on Saturday. And I said, well, if the eagles go up by more than seventeen there's no possible way. The Panthers are coming back, and apparently he thought to himself. Well as soon as they went down seventeen he's like, oh my God. They're going to do it. And he was right. The Panthers did make the comeback. Restraint touchdowns in the fourth quarter. And you say it Lanta falcons. Some about birds and three score the large leads. Yeah. I know I don't know what it is just kinda fly away when their birds burns. Yeah. I don't trust birds. I don't think the birds are terrible there. There are no trust or the birds complete assholes Brian. Did you say bird's, not trustworthy people? I said they're terrible people this and said, they're terrible. He's not wrong. I mean urge Rascic like if you ever had a bird as a pet. Yes, they're awful. They squad awful all the time. All the fucking time. They chirp, and squawk and squeal, and you have to put a damn towel over their cage to get him to shut up, and even that sometimes doesn't work ahead at one point when we had a bird. So I'd like I had recently like lost a part of my fingernail from getting some dropped on all removing stones time the hatch. It's okay. Big boy, and you're the demure bird of cat scratch reader. I guess so I was all. Yeah. My sister had a bird knows like trying to like become friends with it is bit me. Right. Unlike where I'm supposed to have a fingernail still bad. Oh god. That makes me cringe. Birds are terrible people. You heard it here. First they are awful awful awful people. The only exception is demure bird. He's not a terrible. I he's just an injury susceptible person. But he's he's injury prone. Honestly believe is because his last name's bird like his last if his name was Demere Jones, he would probably be the next Jerry Rice. I mean, How how many many birds? birds lasting sixteen game stretch in the NFL? Is this how frail like a? Demere quail up in the NFL demure coil. Speaking of birds, though. So to get a little more in depth than the fat then. Oh, wow. I almost said falcons, but it was kind of similar the eagles. Lou a seventeen point lead. But they dominated the Panthers for the first three quarters. I think Cam had like twenty eight yards passing and twenty eight yards rushing after the first half, which is not very good in my opinion. It's not doing. They also manage to knock themselves out of field goal position twice in. What was a very close game. Even with the eagles dominating on offense and defense and one point they had to penalties that pushed them out of field goal range, forcing Ron Verita palm, which I'm sure he loved by the way. He loved that. He had to is. He was so relieved didn't have a chance. Thank god. We don't have to give him the ball here. All right. We'll give them twenty five yards of fuel business. All right, cool. So. I'm gonna say something about I guess, you could finish summarize if you want because it just the general thought the whole time possession thing..

"Panthers. Welcome back. Rush Limbaugh half my brain tied behind my back just to make it fair. NBC news. Uncertainty over a Blue Wave NBC news, fines, democrat and GOP voter registrations at the same level as past election cycles. But, but but but but, but, but, but but the Democrats head Michelle my bell out there during a whole big voter registration drive out there. The Democrats have been registering voters in prison they've been registering voters at the DMV they've been registering voters at the at the at the medical marijuana places. They've been registering voters everywhere how in the world is it possible that democratic voter registration levels at the same as past cycles. The Democrats have been telling us that there's so much energy. There is so much excitement. There so much motivation. There's so much inspiration that nothing can hold them back and yet and yet. The generic ballot. Once again is showing that this massive democrat Blue Wave is not as big as once thought. Now NBC is is is very very worried. They're worried that something that's not a Blue Wave may be shaping up here. That's what this headline is uncertainty over a Blue Wave. NBC news finds democrat GOP voter registration at same level as past cycles comparing registration activity from two thousand fourteen to two thousand sixteen with activity from two thousand sixteen to current helps put these numbers in the context, but it should be noted the twenty fourteen in two thousand sixteen include a complete picture of registration from those years, whereas two thousand eighteen only includes registration activity up until this point in time. Well, what that's all you need. And if you're not registered yet. The odds are you're not going to be registered in time to vote. So that seems like a little hole we'll we don't have a full database numbers for two thousand eighteen when you've got enough to know. So how can this be how can voter registration by Democrats are supposed to be smoking us in voter registration because there's so much more interest. There's so much hatred for Trump. There's so many people wanna fix that mistake. And then. A column from the Washington Post by Meghan mcardle. Trying to help the Democrats who she believes or Mara Lee superior and smarter than Republicans headline will the Blue Wave collapse before it reaches the shore. What Meghan mcardle in this op Ed in the Washington Post is doing and trying to help Democrats is saying that the Cavanaugh hearings backfired on the Democrats because it alienated men and now she's warning the Democrats to stop to hide their agenda of identity politics until they get into power. She's telling you guys have got to put the masks back on you. Democrats have got to re camouflage yourself, she's warning the Democrats to hide the identity, politics agenda. Of course, we should fight misogyny and racism, whether or not it's politically expedient these are important, but the country faces lots of important moral questions. Democrats can't answer them without first getting into power. She's saying these demos shot up stopped your everything's backfiring. Until you Democrats.

"Hello, welcome to the keep sounding podcast. Your hat scratch reader, official podcasts up Carolina Panthers and all their shortcomings. This is Brian joined by Brad, Brad. How're you doing tonight? I am. Well. How are you? I'm somewhat well, John. How are you doing tonight? I'm mostly okay. You guys just just criticizing every decision I make with my life tonight. You'll have pizza at some points. He can eat your feelings away. It is a very good pizza. I'm looking forward to it. So my. So speaking of eating your feelings away Panthers just lost. Just ugly gamed. Very reminiscent of last season. Chicago Bears game. I was so angry. I'm still angry. I think we all are angry to break it down. Actually, I'm, I'm not angry, you know, believe it or not. I'm not angry. I'm. I'm worse than angry. I'm disappointed, but I'm actually worse than angry. I'm apathetic. I don't give a shit anymore. Like. I just I knew it was going to happen. I expected it. I. We'll get into it later, but there were things that happened that I just said, you know, there's no way we're gonna win this game, and I stopped caring, and I don't know. I don't know if ever get if they'll ever bring that back out of me because it's just it's been the same shit just different day for so long. Yup. And. You finally got you finally turned me this last week. I finally like was very positive about the Panthers thought it was going to be. They're coming out aim as an offense, predicted a multi score victory, and they just put me right back in that same spot. I was at after the Chicago game last year where not picking the pantheon ever. This is your fault. It's my, it's my fault. John's pizzas. It sure is. We have something to look forward to, right. There's some gonna get pizza and we're gonna get to talk about how Washington embarrass the Panthers. I'm pretty sure I said the name. I'm not supposed to say earlier to seal wanna believe that John. Wasn't even listen for five minutes ago. Yeah. Near the beginning anyway, it was. It was new, the intro, yeah. So yeah, the Panthers got beat by the Washington redacted and it all started with the Panthers running the ball six, three times only to on fourth and one on midfield. And you know there might be something to be said about that decision, but it definitely didn't go the right way. And in hindsight, Ron Rivera says, just went for it. But instead what happened was foresight foresight as well. I should have gone instead, Washington took the punt back scores on what was a really easy touchdown, Vernon, Davis. I might add. Than the Panthers come out on offense. And I think that was that one DJ more fumble. Was that when the first time? No, no, actually what happened was when when Ron punted the ball DJ Moore was the least aware person that has ever been on football field and let the ball go into the end zone when he could have down at like the three yard line. Okay. That was mistake number two, because number one was putting in the first place. I'll expand on that lighter. We actually forced them into a three and out and DJ fumbled the punt. That's right. Turn trying to get yards fumble the punt return. And then the very next play six seconds later, Vernon Davis is wide as fucking open, twenty five yards downfield and scores..

"But yeah, we'll we'll see we get to see Eric read on the field and for someone who enjoys watching Eric replay, football, that is cool to see. So I think that does it probably for when the giants have the ball, I think we can move over to the other side of the ball when the giants are on defense and Carolina is on offense. And there's probably no other place we can start then the reduction which you know, I think maybe we'll blow this a little bit out of proportion because there's a limited amount of plays that. Actually are read option plays in a given game. It's not like these offenses are like fifty percent reduction. That's just not the case. Even we'll be talking about RPO's. They're a very small subset of players inside an offense. But when you're looking at the Panthers offense and the giants defense that has not been able to stop it at all day could come up really big. Oh, definitely in the Panthers, run it better than most teams? Well, we'll say mostly because of Cam Newton because he's just not normal. And he was also really, really good at running the option in Auburn. So he's been doing it for a long time. He does it really well. His ball handling is very impressive, and he is just hard to stop as a runner. Yeah, he's he's bigger than your linebackers. He might be bigger than some of your defensive linemen depending on how big your defensive linemen are. So it's just the size. Wise, it's hard to bring him down and then you add in how good he actually is a rudder. So the Panthers have this year, we reading one hundred eighty two yards on option plays that six point one yards per play, Cam Newton per sports info solutions that has seventeen carries.

"But. I'm not gonna sit here and say that I think Casey is thirty has of it because we've seen Thomas Davis makes agreed use hits in his career, and I wouldn't call him a dirty player either. I just think it was. Keyed in the moment. And I think he was rightly ojected and I re- with it. Suspending him. I mean, if you're trying to send the message. Yeah, I agree. You should just suspend them. So like sends a message like, hey, we're not effing around as far as the league goes, but you know? Yeah, that's the only reason. I think he should be spended. They should send a message that, hey, we're not taking more. It's no longer acceptable. Right. But other than that, I mean, they still scored on that drive Cam Newton's. Okay. So all in all it worked out. Okay for the Panthers. Thankfully. Thank God. Hopefully we don't see anymore. Those hits, I guess, is the best way to put it so good for Ron Rivera going on fourth down. Yeah, he did. He did. He didn't fact not turtle for once. That was good. He must have read last week's turtles.
