"Oxnard, California Just checked veto. It's 73 Sunny in Oxford. You know, once upon a time they did. Cowboys training camp in Austin. Edward Edward like that update, it's gonna be It's gonna be 97 this weekend. So if you ever thought they were coming back, Jerry is like no way, man. I need some Jerry in my life Here is the Cowboys owner Remember? Earlier this week, Michael Irvin said he was disappointed in his former team disappointed in the Cowboys that they're one of the teams who had not met the 85% threshold of vaccinations where you can Have less restrictions, less protocols and like here's Jerry today on those comments, Michael Irvin is the best example that I know of how much will and how much body language and how much the heart and sacrifice mean to winning championships. He is there and so when he talks, I listen. I know that he comes with all the credibility in the world leaves a Hall of Famer of not only part because he's a talented football player, but a big part of why I got there was that internal commitment going above and beyond, and that's what he was trying to say that it is that normal things we want. From each other as players. We want everything going above and beyond. And so I I thought it was announced standing message that was influential. Did you just Jerry Splain the color? Vince comments, Jerry what it is. Is that? Yeah. I don't think there is confusion. Weird, like God, Michael Google translate. Can I just say his answer was 3.5 minutes long. So I had to put it down to the pit is obviously edited yet. Still still, Jerry. The whole thing is just like a big word soup with that dude and hasn't Michael come around since those days when he had the White House? With all the hookers and strippers would go in Dallas and Jerry didn't like that too much Did he not like that? He didn't like that very much. I think he was probably calling Michael saying, Hey, what's it Can it can I book three or four today is that available to Uh, Here's Jerry on how his team is the most vaccinated of all the vaccinate everybody here, everybody here in what we call tier 12 or three is back vaccine for the most part, if you'll give me 99%. As for the most part from that standpoint, there could be one or two that aren't from the standpoint of the players. We probably we have what I call in the pipeline. That's committed, but at some various stage of whether they need to vaccine shots, and they've got one or whether they're waiting that period of time so that they can have had their vaccine and go through the protocol. We have out of our 90 players here. We have a handful that in mama and have still to commit. A handful were tied to head and a hand is five. And that's if he in that several in my mind of that finger of five over the way to potentially having their back saying, Oh, what Anger of five counting Kolb easily still as a cowboy, and what's this tier? One, tier two and tier three? No, as all in the top tier is what I like to call them to your want. Hear to into your three Don't have the patience. Exactly. Oh, my God. I why can't it just be football season now And then we get that once a week, Jerry, Tuesday mornings. Let's go, man. Can you imagine on hard night? Yeah, I guess he's going to be all over hard knocks, right? This is gonna be great. This is tremendous. Hey, real quick As an aside, I think Saban. Also mentioned when he was here for that head coaching synopsis or talking to Texas High school football future recruits that he claims Alabama 90% Oh, he's encouraging saying, Look at me and what we're doing as your program to encourage players to get on board. Color may not surprised at all that Alabama is well within the you know, not to digress from you, Jerry Jones here, but I thought that that was an interesting stat that I mean, Hey, I think all like you say, J. They should all be striving for that, right? Sure, Nick Saban in that program is no nonsense, Jerry. Nonsense complete. Not here. 1 to 2 to three clip is really long. I don't even know if we'll make it through. I don't know what it is, but it just says Barry Switzer. Jimmy Johnson's story. Are you ready? Switcher came in the office and Jimmy had just left. And so Barry came down from Norman Oklahoma to talk about getting the job and he comes in. And he said, Where's Jimmy? Now? Barry had coached us both. Said. Where's Jimmy? I said, Jimmy's gone, He said. Well, that's not right. Get him get him in here, said Where's Jimmy? I said Barry, Jimmy's gone. We're sitting here talking about you being the coach important world You're so anxious to talk to Jimmy about, he said. I just wanted to get both you little asshole on this couch. And ask you both. How could you this up? I think about how you can do that now. I mean, they don't just think of those great times and.

NFL Schedule Released
"The NFL is prepared to be flexible. Based upon the Pandemic Commissioner Roger Goodell released a statement which read in part in preparing to play the season as scheduled. We will continue to make our decisions based on the latest medical and public health advice in compliance with government regulations and with appropriate safety protocols to protect the health of our fans players club and league personnel and our communities. We will be prepared to make adjustments as necessary. One is just nice for everyone to have something to look forward to but Dan tell us about the contingency is the just in case things in the schedule your Susan the NFL releases a schedule. That indicates that they hope and plan to start on time and play the full sixteen game schedule as usual and that remains their hope. They're optimistic that it'll be the case but as you mentioned and has Roger Goodell mentioned there is obviously a chance and circumstances dictate otherwise so look for early things in the schedule that would allow for adjustments season being delayed season being truncated in week to everyone who plays each other and to the same bye week later in the year as their opponents. So if if that were to get eradicated you'll be able to make it up during the appropriate by weeks. There are no division games in week three or week four so if you had to miss those two weeks you could. You could have a season where everybody plays their usual number of division games the Super Bowl can be slid back a couple of weeks every city that gets awarded a super bowl has to have a contingency planning case. The game has to be delayed and Tampa obviously has one of those so those are the kinds of things that are in there that allow the NFL. A little bit of flexibility. If as they hope does not happen they have to make adjustments to the schedule. What's interesting we always talking about contingencies in the abstract? What if what? If a couple of years ago we actually lived in Miami Hurricane Irma came in. It was a very unusual situation. Tampa Bay was supposed to come to us in Miami to play the opener. That game was postponed. We immediately went into a bi week. Situation both US in Tampa and since we had matching by week's game shifted to later on the season so it was very surreal situation where we went training camp by week. We were all their players. Were allowed to be dispersed all through the country and then we reconvened in Oxnard California and the rams and the cowboys were tremendously helpful. We went back into a training. Camp Mood St Ross. The owner of the dolphins was tremendous. He put up a whole organization support. Staff families and our opener was actually on the road. Week two in the chargers against the chargers and we played sixteen games straight. So I know we're saying these things happen more in the abstract but who teams just three years ago actually live this very scenario. You have to be prepared for the what if and we all know putting the schedule together is so complicated anyway without contingency plans but it really looks like Howard. Cats and his team did a solid job of trying to prepare for everything.

Is it just been kind of Oh what an awesome surprise now kind of learned from the sentence frigging Sweden especially out there on the field and just having a concrete example because I mean it's different washing film and you know out here actually being last questions and everything so what do you do it football. I just excited for football bobby back man especially you know we get these routines and like everything seems right in the world when it's football season so I mean it's it's the constant <hes> going week to week and just embracing the grinds winning fill your teammates that locker room post aimlessly feelings and all in all flights so how'd you realize you guys play home away every other week. Has You realize that this season it's interesting. I'm from San Antonio so I drive every week to cover the Games and and I'm really grateful for that because the worst is the games in a row and I have like it is just is for me <hes> Don appreciate it if you had a piece of gaming advice because I'm really bad at like halo touching so I wanna I wanNA leave on a good note but if you're like this is how you it just play like even if you saw well except Barstool Smitty. That's the guy who's played video once <hes> we're like a little fingers plan for nine locate jumped in becuase I call on big Fan. Here's here's like that's cool but you're located and you're GonNa wait me down so any Sadan appreciate man Dalton was so cool and I can't express how relaxed to chill. I mean sometimes you do. These guys guys act differently and Whatnot Dalton was really awesome in a really enjoyed the Chad it was great to Kinda here all about his life and kind of how he prepares for things and he was really comfortable in really himself and really authentic which I really enjoyed <hes> and that does is it for Monday out and option. I don't know the odds are you're listening to this on Tuesday. So all of this in you know I'm even talking and recorded this on Monday evening. <hes> it was a great second day for us here Oxnard and a great thirty over offer the cowboys cowboys pads definitely added level of intensity but we still haven't seen I'd say the intensity level you know sort of measuring stick as you know maybe like seven and a half out of ten right now. I do anticipate things getting a little bit more raucous later in the week. We haven't had a skirmish shit. We have had some slight tempers flaring but it it does definitely feel like training camp and so I it's been awesome. Make sure to listen to E._S._P._N.. Antonio's the bullets every day from four to seven P._M.. Central Time we got tons and tons and tons of interviews coming your way on Tuesday Tuesday you can hear.
"Be N._F._l.. Teams are in training camp but that doesn't mean every player is we've got hold doubts in key spots Saints Michael Thomas Chargers Melvin Gordon who else Yana can gakugei Jacksonville Trent Williams in Washington and of course Ezekiel Elliott in Dallas the big one big name that everyone's watching out there in oxnard California all guys that <hes> are heading into either the final year of their deal or wants some sort of adjustment on their contract before camp or the season starts so we gotta go through all these the person who helps us make sense of all this stuff is our own Adam schefter so Adam Una make this pretty simple. I will give you a name and you tell us the latest on that player. Start with Ezekiel Elliott of of the cowboys will Zeke Elliott has not shown up in Oxnard California side of the Dallas Cowboys training camp and they're going through physical today. They are basically supposed to be attending a team meeting and there's no sign of Zeke right now which tells you soup that it looks like at the very least Zeke Watch is underway and it certainly feels like this is going to be a hold out while the two sides tried to see if they can come up with a new deal for Zeke Elliott but no signs of him California this yet and no signs as of November by the chargers camp right now then this one is going to go on for a while the two sides basically have their own stances. There have differing pains. Nobody Gordon's value. I don't see this getting south anytime this summer I I think this one looks like it has a real chance to go into the regular season. It's time for Austin Ecuador and Justin Jackson and no Michael Thomas in New Orleans still you take the reading receiver off that team. The saints have offered to make them the highest a wide receiver receiver in football. It sounds like he wants to get to a very high threshold north of twenty million dollars a year. We'll see what they can get there where the saints a willing to budge but Michael Thomas wants to become not just a highest eight wide receiver in football but the highest paid wide receiver football by a long shot right now while we wait for Julio Jones deal to potentially come in later this summer Adam sit tight we we'll come back to you as as needed. We're going to go back and talk about Ezekiel Elliott though how important is even to the cowboys he's led the N._F._l.. Rushing yards per game in each of his first three seasons the only other players to do that in the ninety nine year history of the N._F._l.. or Jim Brown and Earl Campbell perhaps you've heard of them. Both of those guys are in the hall of fame name safe to say that few running backs have ever had a better start to their careers then has Ezekiel Elliott

Ezekiel Elliott reportedly still hasn't decided whether to hold out from Cowboys training camp
"There are weird. Reports coming on profootballtalk reported over the weekend that Zeke Elliott is headed out of the country potentially this week which is curious considering the cowboys training camp this week I mean that's low bold but yeah man I mean if Zeke's not there and that's look it would suck and let me clear nobody wants us but it would be interesting that that's what I'll say it would not at all be desirable it would not at all be preferred but it would be interesting because Zeke not being there would cast a shadow over for the entire camp that you know a lot of guys not being there would not really be missed to to just put it one way but Zeke Elliott not being there there. Would you would feel that and if he wasn't there I mean who's who's your rb one. I mean honestly who who's starting running back for the Dallas cowboys. If it's not Ezekiel Elliott Darius Jackson Toni Ballard I mean that that would be that would be interesting is really the only way I can put that so <hes> hopefully we don't have to wonder too long. Hopefully we get some confirmation. That's is in fact staying in the United States in Oxnard and hopefully this was just a waste of about a minute of all of our lives.

Trump border wall: the hypocrisy of Trump's immigration agenda
"A cited said in his staff is cited factually, accurate, then why not just go ahead declared the national emergency Bill the wall and stop with all this grandstanding. Just do it. Right. Also, this idea he's also floated the. That the money that comes in from the new tariffs on goods is going to pay for it. Does this guy not know how the government works? That's not what happens. Okay. This money. Must be appropriated by congress. It doesn't come in from tax revenue. It has to go through congress. Okay. Through tax revenue. It's still has to be a portion by congress and congress is going to keep saying, no because guess what they were saying. No when when Paul Ryan was running them only, they weren't saying no as overly. But the fact of the matter is is the Republican party's donors are not happy at the idea of not having all that cheap labor being shut off. So this border wall thing is a game that they're playing with their base. Okay. See we want to keep out the Brown hordes from south of the border to protect America sovereignty on the other hand are businesses will die without him. I have a question for you. Donald Trump hiring illegal immigrants at his resorts. Evidently a bunch. Yeah. And at all of them. Yeah. In New Jersey. The attorney general of that state has turned this matter over to Mr. Mueller. Okay. Because he feared that Mr. sessions when he was attorney general would conveniently bury it and that Mr. Whittaker would do the same. "They're like watching just listening to the beat for the first time and just being like, oh, yes God. And honestly, the re ninety nine problems is if beastie boys. Just said the freak the minute. You don't. Kiss my whole. Fats J crushing BC boys or run DMC record from nineteen Eighty-four. That's what's so good about that huge like really just bombastic say a major guitar lick. And that and that is fun. Also, like a story about police brutality inside of a story. Like is a really smart modern reinvention of something that is important rap history. And similarly in that movie, that's kinda where we that's really where the Khania west mythology starts his seeing him in the polo making the beats with literature rain is like trucker hat, leg, Astro or whatever. And he's like he is he is the underdog in that movie in a lot of ways. But he's he's overselling everything. Like when ferrall plays a beat for Jay. And you see him getting excited? He has reason to get excited. Yeah. I'm in the studio and ending his faces scrunched up right now. That's the guy who made super thug. You know, he he's he has he's justified in saying that there are other songs in this Alba. Them that don't appear in that film. You know like justify my thug. There's no sequence in that movie where we watch quick make that beat and I've always wondered about those kinds. We don't see threat being made by ninth wonder who for those of you don't know ninth wonder was once a highly a hotly tipped producer, and a member of the group little brother and people really thought ninth wonder was going to be in the class of DJ premier. Kanye, west navy, nothing Neptune's from a commercial point of view, but highly deeply important producer. But there are all these album the all these songs on his album that don't ultimately appear like we don't see the Buchanan's making what more can I say, right? I don't even know what the Buchanan's look like. So there is this interesting. I essentially dissonance between the really famous people who made the album and the really unfinished people maybe album, which is a nice metaphor for a whole lot of lot of music making works. Yeah. I mean like, yeah. You wrote for Atlanta twenty thirteen about how Jay. And like Carnegie. Siphoned off of young town and also pick and choose their spots about who'd elevate new to whatever I mean, like which has just part of the process of making music making art art, making a movie even writing a book, there's a like we're all kind of working together. But there's usually a star. And when I wrote that it was not to be accusatory of what they were doing. It was more just an observation of how that strategy yet all over time, and you can see a lot of it in real time. There's not a lot of movies, especially not a lot of well-made movies that feature the process of recording a song quite like this. Right. So I I was found that very revealing final question shoot. And this is the the the the most annoying an obligatory one that we were gonna have in this podcast, which is where does the blackout them rank? Oh, gosh. Well, let's let's have a look at the discography. I think it has to be fifth if we do some formulation of and I'm not going to do my top five right now..

"And he's not on this record track masters not on this record because they had been become slightly passe. Even when the marketing of this movie started Dr Drey not on this record. Because this was the time when Dr Davis are not releasing anything. This was pre detox is coming you know, that mania that whole secession, but Jay has always defined himself by his taste, and he's always defined himself by his collaborators whilst also staying above the fray and this album in many ways, I think is a kind of a statement of purpose or statement of what his purpose was. But it's also really schizophrenic, and even though we do get to Neptune's records do get to three just blaze records, we do get to Kanye west records from the very beginning. There was something almost like disjointed about it. So I say all this to say their question about like, what was your hot one? You know, Like, like I I. it's a good question. Yeah. The we'll yeah. Like you were saying is it does play as like a farewell tour compressed into like a single body of work in an also lake of an album of greatest hits. Because I mean like Lucifer like we were saying before is amazing. But like doesn't feel like it belongs on the same album is December fourth or. Say take for instance, dirt official doesn't feel like it should go with anywhere near threats. I don't I don't know. It's just like there's it's a strange collection of music that is nonetheless good. Yeah. It is. It actually makes a lot more sense in hindsight because Jay z as he slowly evolves into what he had always wanted to be which is Frank Sinatra. You know, an artist with a massive catalog that he can return to in live performance over time. So you I mean, you can go see J now. And he has literally one hundred songs that I'm like I really like that song. There's no other artists. I think in rap who exists on that plane in the same way, that's an entre could just pull out a record in nineteen seventy five that he recorded thirty years earlier and be like that's a beautiful song. I love that song. And I'll probably go see j twenty years from now 'cause I really liked the music, but I remember at the time as much as I liked the black album feeling like what's the point of this other than you're just saying goodbye like what are you even trying to say? And the people who are critical record and most people were not. But the people who are critical of it kind of described it as like like a bio-pic like going to see like walk the line or maybe more recently bohemian rhapsody where there's this effort to kind of say, well, this song is about this aspect of me. And this song is about this aspect of me. And in some cases, I think that works. I think December fourth in my first song are uniquely autobiographical. Yeah. And another is a dozen. "Cares. Come. There was tense, and then who are you? So what were you expecting by the time that the dropped on Friday? So this is kind of probably why I don't get invited to talk about music a lot. It's because I generally don't listen to singles, I kinda keep myself in a cocoon until an album comes out, and then I'll will emerge as this ugly, moth and. And do all of my listening then. So actually I'd heard tints maybe once and I was like oh, great thumbs the sounds fun summary. It's you know, but I hadn't really heard I didn't hear bubble. And I didn't hear who are you. So I went in got the first song on the album cadre bony just like a beautiful voice. I'm like, yes. Yes. And then second track is all about road ahead. At four minute and eleven seconds song about Roe head that ends with a very detailed skit about wrote head. Yeah there. Yeah. There's some like noise is that probably shouldn't just should not have been on the album. Yeah. That's the thing about this album. Specially in it being a sequel to Malibu is that on Malibu, you kind of got almost a full autobiography in the first four songs, you got to know who he was whose family was get to know about. It's dad his mom is sister. You know, how long he's gone about trying to get himself to this level. Right. And then you know in the first four songs of Oxnard, it's like one and a half songs about road. Hedge? Yeah. But I mean, like, it's it's a different point in his career rice point. I mean because this is the first album he's had to make on the other side of fame. Really? So it's not as autobiographical as the the outlet immediately. Preceded it, and it's almost no it is it's intentionally kind of withholding mirror. I mean, they're songs like who are you and tints which are specifically about him trying to grass, you know, how he can live as a public figure that now can recognize right? And without losing himself in the process. Right, right. So yeah, there's a lot of that. But it's just like it's such a stark departure from, you know, maybe it was unfair of me to be like, oh, maybe we're just going to be getting, you know, Malibu. Yeah. Exactly, there's not really it's not that's not like a reasonable expectation to have. And it's not like just because his album isn't as good as the one that came before it doesn't mean that it's bad in any sense. Yeah. I'm in. But how long did it take you to invest in the album like when did it start coming together for you? Yeah. That's that's the interesting thing. I think the reason why I struggled to really grasp it, the maybe the first listen through was because as I said those first four songs on album, you kind of get to the emotional core right away. Whereas with Oxnard, you don't really get that like almost the thesis of of the album until the second half the piece where the second half of the time when you know, you start hearing about snoop Dogg talking about reminiscent about nine thousand nine hundred nine and push t- talking about his brother and him in q tip kind of just reminiscent on on as friendly. Sheet music. We still have we may get snow gets in the Niccolo. Adventure suspense as a stand stretched out coke. That's kind of where it kind of clicked me. What did you think about the protests? There's a protest song of this album. It's called six summers. It starts with the line and Trump's gotta love child, and I hope that bitch Buchwald. Vac goes onto fantasize about how she is is basically everything that Trump would oppose. I assume what did you what did you? What did you make of it? It's it's funny because it's a it's a protest song. It's political. It's just a song that I felt was being kind of undercut by the first two minutes of it. Yeah. When I listened to it. I think I listened to it about five times in a row because I was like what does this remind me of? And it reminded me of a song off of chances. Acid wrapped mix tape called pushman got. Got. I got that. God damn y'all. Push a man. I'll push snappy tagging. I'm just trying to find a mango. Yeah. Which is actually two songs..

"Ways, blah. Wraps. It's kind of also he's accomplished drummer. He's an accomplished musician all around musician, which is exactly why. It's so hard to kind of define right. Right. Right. He was I mean, you know, session drummer before he was his own artist. I mean, like if you go to any live show leg I saw him at I've seen live twice once at the vitally, please Grammy party, and once recently when they had a block party outside of guitar center on sunset or whatever. But it was just like he's he'll just get up and go the drum kit is in the center of the stage. He gets up, and he just goes and rips a solo for like, right? And it's really one of the best musical things. Like I've seen yen two years ago. I think he was at the one of the final FYI f shows, and I mean, all my friends are huge fans, and they were just like he had the one of the best sets. Yeah. That's the thing is like any time that you. Bring up Anderson pack. It's just like, I don't know anybody that doesn't like his doesn't like can't say can't recognize it as good or won't say that it's good. If you just ask them off the top of their head, right? He has a really high approval rating, which I wrote. Oh, yeah. Forgot to mention I wrote about this on the record dot com. Great website, you take that out. But what were you expecting from Oxnard? And what like what did you make of the singles because bubbling came out he'd been performing that it his live shows like for a while leading up before there was the actual single treatment with the video and everything..

"Pitches. You ain't gonna drown. Shu-chen? Two years ago. Anderson packs star rose with a Grammy nomination for his sophomore album Malibu. Now, he's back with Oxnard the third and final entry into his beach series which began with Venice in two thousand fourteen. Do what? My colleague Danny Chow called the sound of two thousand sixteen describe Malibu as a snapshot of the inbetween era state of music at the time. I ask does packs do album sound as much like now as its predecessor. And is it a step in the right direction? Danny how are you doing today? Man. I'm doing great. This is the first time anyone has asked me to verbalize, my thoughts on music and like years. So I am I am really really as you about it. Like, I feel like we spent like fifteen minutes at work drinks, one time talking about a single for tat song. So it's long overdue the cheered on this podcast. But first question when did you first learn about Anderson pack, and like when was the first time doing counter because he was kind of like the the big ticket in two thousand fifteen because Compton album, which came out with Dr dre straight outta Compton bio-pic movie or whatever. And then he had six features on the album that everybody loved, but he had been putting music before that. So when did you first encounter pack. I actually think that was around the time when I fully got kind of immersed into. Okay. So this is this thing happened again, he is going to be a big star. I think one of the things that really kind of captivated me was along with chance the rapper during that time. She kind of added a little bit of levity. And there was something like. Distinctive in his voice that was like. Okay. So this is kind of like almost a new strain of vocal performance vocal delivery that. We can kind of look forward to in the genera in music, right? So yeah, I think it was around around content time when right when he was basically starting to blow up and then Malibu came out. And I was just like Gotcha. This is this is this is awesome. And then there was the the no worries EP that came out after that his collaboration with east coast producer knowledge there was that suede zone that I know everybody remembers own which you know, like somehow peg gets away with bitches a term of endearment. It's great. I think that my first time encountering pack was like when he was as breezy Lovejoy. I remember specifically actually it was top fifty songs of twenty twelve a list on the potholes in my blog website. And it was too old walk so old MP three blogs man, and it was a P Y P play your part..

Dallas Cowboys' Jerry Jones ready to make some noise
"You feel and and President Trump is convinced you and a lot of you echoed what he said that guys that are Neely are being disrespectful to the country to the flag until the military. Even though that's not the case, even though they've told you why they're Neely, Jerry doesn't care scale all care about is money. And if it doesn't make him money or he feels it might stop him or prevent him for making absorbent amount of money because he's making money, but Jerry field, this might stop him in some way because he's still gets. Pushback this, even though this policy might go in the playoffs Steele might be allowed to kneel. At least I was pushing back. He can always fall back on that and the fans will stay with Jerry. One of them saying it was just the league, voted him and this what the players are allowed to do. So he'll always have that in his back pocket. If he loses the final, the final vote. But I am so disappointed, but I'm not surprised here reacted like this. So I'm going to reiterate to everyone wants more. I know Jerry very well. You could say all too well, I spent literally hundreds of hours interviewing him for three books that I wrote on the Dallas Cowboys one on the Tom Landry Cowboys. One on the Jerry, Jimmy Cowboys. One on the Jerry Switzer Cowboys that somehow in spite of itself won the Super Bowl. I don't often agree with Jerry's politics or his stances on lots of things, or he's worldview or sort of his perceptions. But I do respect one thing about Jerry, Jerry is who Jerry and he will let you know between your is exactly what he thinks and he doesn't care what you think. He's just going to tell you what he thinks and that I do respect that. He just is going to lay it right on the line that my players who collect the checks that I saw are going to literally toe that line as in, they're going to stand for the national anthem with their toes. On my line, it's my, it's called Jerry world. This guy nickname, but with toes on the outta balanced line along their sideline, your toes, you're going to be up on the line. You're not going to be back on the bench. You're going to stand. This is this is a decree from above in what. Did he call the big media session that he did yesterday, he calls it his state of the union, his annual state of the union as training camp opens out in Oxnard, California, not all that far from where we're sitting right now because he is the president owner and operator of the Dallas Cowboys. And he operates. Well. Argue he operates that way because these are his decrees for this year. This is how he feels about the end. He doesn't care what any other owner things. He doesn't care about the ongoing dialogue between the legal fishing, the players association. This is his policy. And originally it was said that each teen could sort of operate its policy the way each team one voted on his Gill. Okay, but, but within the confines of those rule, right, which was insane to me if you want to protest, you can stay in the locker room, right? Neil Bryant them. You can save you if you come out and you have them. But if you don't want to, you can stay in the locker. It was insane. Wasn't gonna work, and now it's not going to work because they're back to the drawing board trying to come up with a new idea. But in the end with Jerry, he's not going to hide what he thinks. He's not going to camouflage what he thinks and he's not going to do what Mike Brown had just done is the owner of the Cincinnati Bengals the day before, what am I Brown say? I was in St.. Acted by the league office not to comment anymore about our anthem. Paul's because there is ongoing dialogue. Well, that's the politically correct thing. Say I have to stand down. That's what might Brown said the Jerry standout. Did he care what anybody else said? What not improbably league wanted the owners not to comment because if they don't comment, maybe someone else won't comment, but we know that's not gonna stop when there's controversy swirling around daily. So I want to be very clear about this, but this is the one thing I appreciate about Jerry Jones. You know exactly who he is, who he's not..
