"An end in mind. you know. A lotta guys You know i see them branching off doing other things or making sure that they have something lined up For win they can't wrestle anymore. I i kinda. And i don't know if this is showing my cards or not on i kinda see myself being wwe You know for for life. i. I don't know why i would go anywhere else. I mean who knows what the future holds but Although i love movies and i love sending auditions in almost monthly on. Hell i got a script right now. On looking at But i don't think actions my passion. I'm not trying to move to hollywood or moved to new york. It'd be a fulltime actor The way batista did it. The way seeing did it is they use. Wwe it's kind of a jumping board to go into hollywood and all that stuff. I think i'm i'm content's the wrong word. Happy happy is the right word with kinda my place in the wwe right now The money's good The talents good. The locker rooms great. I have a good relationship of all the people that are in charge. And i don't see. Why would change that and i only see all of bills different variables. I just mentioned. I only see them getting better over the coming years so at forty one. I can honestly say if if if i'm on a contract where i'm able to still you know russell a handful of years in my late forties. Possibly even as i'm a fifty year old man i would love to do it my big thing and my wife. Kim has promised me that if if she looks at me and she thinks i'm becoming kind of a parody of myself or if i'm unable to do the things that the fans need to be able to physically see me do in order for them to believe that in our ko still has as much staying at once. Did you know if i can't do although slams. She's promised me that she's gonna let me know that it's time to hang up the boots and until then i'm putting my trust in her and i'm just going to enjoy what i do because i i've got great kids. I've got five wonderful children. I've a beautiful home beautiful wife. Life is really good and although like being the next marvel superhero would be really awesome the work that would go into that in the amount of time that i would have to take away from the wwe. I don't know that there's a price tag you can put on that. That would make it worth it for me to step away from what i love so much for so long that being first and foremost my wife and family but also wwe. You know. i. I like showing up each week. Hell i saw rick flair. Monday and Hey rick we actually rode from the hotel together. And and i asked. What are you doing tonight on the show. When he goes off always set off. Hal randy. I love coming around. I love seeing the guys. I love seeing you guys talk and put your stuff together talking to some guys and the camaraderie said. I love this business on. I love being around it and in charlotte wasn't there. He would have been there anyway. Yeah on red eye. I know it. And i like that attitude. I liked that he looks at the street. Not even just adventure. Wwe but at professional wrestling as a whole and he can say that. It's made me and it's given me so much. And i've made so many other people happy in feel some kind of way because of what he did in the ring i i feel like that too and i feel like he's happy and content. When wouldn't change a thing you know made many mistakes also made you know many positive situations in positive moments in the memorable moment. Strokes fans million times over. I'd i'd love to be in his shoes one day where i can be happy with my body of work and just kind of sit back. Be grandpa in watch you know. The grandkids. Play in have been wwe superstar. "You know. But but but but you know there's some there's some bad dudes in this in this business Legit bad dudes. And i think of course listeners in there too and i think that that only helps the business when you guys like that that understand the art can go in there and and used their strengths to make other town. Look like okay. Randy orton can hang with shamrock to see that or randy. Orton beat shamrock with an r k. O or what have right make it up but that only helps me which only helps other people down the line when they eventually one day kick out of my fetch like. We're all helping each other to make each other the best we can be and i feel like rock bring it back to shamrock. I thought he was always there. He was always there when when there was some kind of momentus occasion or time period in the history of all the places that he's been shamrock obviously made his name in. Mma transitioned in wrestling. How do you expect matt riddle to do now. That he's on the sports. Entertainment side of things matt riddle. Yeh i think he's gonna do fantastic. I think he's already kind of outshined. Most of his little class exceed that have kind of came up over the last year. I mean you have. A lot of those guys are doing well but the funny thing with riddle. When i first met him we were in miami. The entire locker room of next to you was in. Miami should now are locker rooms. Which aren't for biggest are now jammed packed with an x t guys. Who aren't working the show but you know in the wrestling business. You bring your gear to the show. You're always prepared rather and so you got all these next two guys with all their shit taken up all the space in their locker room. So may 'specially being a vet being around. While i see this and now i already got a hard on for these guys right so it doesn't help when i walk by matt riddle in my olive branch was basic. Basically me you know just at matt. And i just said i go there is there is just kinda icebreaker expecting maybe a all. Hey randy. my name's matt nice to meet you but instead matches kind of barely with bloodshot. Eyes glanced over just like and he just kept walking and that mother you know so so for for quite a while. I didn't like riddle and it was because that little scenario one incident out what one little incident and it wasn't even an incident. It's just. I took it as a lack of respect. And when you come back there in your brand new in no one knows you you want to introduce yourself. Because we're we're a band of brothers. I got to trust you with my body and that ran in you the same. You gotta trust me like we should probably make an introduction at some point you know we should probably shoot the shit. A little bit and so to matt riddle. I love a guy now. I've been in locker room with him now for about a year I was there when a couple of weeks ago. He forgot his verbiage. Half live on raw in. Scoot it off on a scooter. He was doing the thing with oscar in the back and everyone thought like oh it was brilliant or all. He forgot his word. That was some of the best that i've ever seen and his his backstage character. The you know the you know. Everything's cool in just the rambling nature of his promos. That works because in the ring he goes he goes. He reminds me to you. You reminds me he's intense. He's really chance he goes he. Doesn't you know all kind of navigate the waters and take my time sometimes like an that. Dude he can do it all and he can. He bust success in that rank some of the matches. He's has shameless have just spin. It's not my style of match. I like to have but the riddle shameless matches. I've seen as late have been amazed. You know. I think he's gonna do quite well. is going to do well like you kurt. I think that he took to the show. Totally well yeah. Yeah big time. Why ad free shows dot com. It's simple it's early and ad free. What some advice or a piece of wisdom wisdom that you try to share with the young talent. What's the most important thing that newer young talent needs to learn. You know there's a lot of little things And i think it depends on the situation. It depends on who i'm talking to but just the other day There was an instance. And i'm not gonna name names but there was a couple of guys that have been on. Tv that haven't been on tv lovely. That are kind of bidders the wrong word but you know they. They feel like they weren't given the opportunity that they should have been given and and a lot of times. I think when guys feel that way. They're probably right those feelings. There's just so much going on and so much talent and three hours. Seems like a long time for roth which you got a lot of talent and a lot of stories you trying to tell so. There's not time for everybody But these two guys They basically had all these unanswered questions that they needed answered and and talk to them. Because i've seen it. I've lived it. I was one of those guys. Where you kinda get your head in your back in the locker room in your you know bitching and you're talking in your thinking and you're you're you're talking yourself you're talking yourself crazy with all you all you need to do is go. Knock on his door. Poke your head in and slowly but surely developer relationship with him and maybe for a month each monday. Do knock on the door. You stick your head in new say. Hey boss just wanted to say hi. Let's have a good show all right cool to see yes sir. Uh-huh later do that every week. And then you know maybe one week tap tap pay bents and he's going to say hey. Come in here for a second. You're going to that little It's it's like this. You wanted to find out ship. Steady steady build up and it took me two decades to get to where i am now with him. And so you gotta start now. Don't wait don't don't don't feel like the businesses against the on. The riders are in the room having a meeting talking to figure out how to bury because they're not. They're not but if you wanna be at the you know the front of everybody's brain when it comes to. What are we doing tonight. Who are we going to use. We need a guy for this guy to get a win on who gets that. Tv time you can't be out of sight out of mind. We've all heard that like you gotta develop that relationship relationship so that you can go and ask those questions that nobody can answer you. Can you can ask me. What do you think. Vince wants me to do tonight. I can give you crazy educated. Guess and maybe come within the ballpark but if you go knock on that man store you're not gonna exactly and you can sleep easy and then stop making yourself nuts. I'd say that would be the. Wwe the number. One thing i would tell to the main.

"Was kind of in the middle of all that too. So there's there's a good reason why i don't remember that year too much But i remember the match. I remember not having a lot of time for the match it might. It might have started at twenty eighteen minutes by the time. You know like every wrestlemainia by the time we got to match. I think we have lost at least half of that. The actual in ring Couldn't have been more than ten minutes. If i remember correctly well not only that ready but your member raise entrance. How long it was where the he's always wearing crazy. Shit right i forget was it a big headdress. He went he came out and went up. A scowl took like eight minutes for him to get to the rank. And i was like holy shit. Our time is cut already this guy spending all this time with his entrance. It was just ridiculous. Typical right speaking of ray. We're how was it doing the angle and getting heat off the lake. Great eddie guerrero ramos stereo. You find a little odd to do or are you comfortable with it. One hundred percent was not comfortable with it Ray assured me that. It's something that eddie would have wanted in even still Rain myself went to vicky and vicky gave us her blessings and she said the same thing. Eddie would've wanted to help you guys in this manner if he could have used his death in some way to help the business as morbid as that sounds You know he would have wanted us to do it especially with rei being involved so although it was a horrible tragedy and we all lost a friend it was Kind of something. That helped me along the way in my career in a lot of people you know as a bad guy talking about that That was that's he worked in in kind of helped with the angle between me and ray but looking back law always be something that was a little. You know that. There's a lot of things i've done in my career. That have made me uncomfortable. I think we can all agree on that right on individually but that in what something that i'd put at the top of that list. April showers bring may flowers. I totally get shared. Let's talk about year in your relationship with kurt. Do you have a favorite match that you guys hand together. you know. we've had not a lot of matches a lotta singles matches together. But i would say the most memorable incurred i might be wrong. We might have had with a ten or less singles matches. But i remember the w pay per view. I think it was. It was the one where the fans had the sign you know. Seen a wins we riot. I forget the name that pay per view but it wasn't easy w pay per view and i'm a garage just coming back from suspension and i was a little worried about my conditioning. Because i was going to the ring with kurt angle but i remember that crowd being crazy and having a good time having fun with the crowd that they will they were. They were riled up orange to say the least and that always makes for a good atmosphere. I believe it was one night. Stand he w one night stand yes. That's what we had. We are credible match. I really enjoyed that match. That was my favorite of the ones we had. You know But other than that one. I think the one match where i beat you would and i think. I think that we remember that match. I do because it only happened. One time a. I think that was your last match in a. Maybe that was. Oh six zero seven before you left. I think okay. Yeah yeah yeah. So but yeah. I mean Lots fond memories between us in the ring but especially outside of the ring man. I'll never forget him. Yeah without a doubt radio. Were on the heels of Mania do you have a favorite wrestlemainia moment. There's one stick out above all the rest. Gosh i feel like. I've had so many little mini wrestlemainia moments It's it's hard to really put my finger on. I think for me maybe wrestlemainia twenty. I was out there with mick. Rock rick the teesta end just that that feeling in my gut in guerrilla at the garden right before i went out i think for me. That's about as close as i can get to remembering especially that far back that exact feeling i had. And it's like what what feeling being so young and going out there with that type of talent and especially at the garden wrestlemainia twenty you know twenty years two decades after my father was in the main event of the original wrestlemainia in same freaking building. Yeah so like all of that history kind of come together and then on top of that effect that my father was there to see the match in person That would be a moment for the fans but as far as wrestlemainia wrestlemainia moments go. That would be my at your most fun memory a us. Yes yes. Well quick question. What was it like to finally come out to a crowd at wrestlemainia. It's been a couple years it has man and it's.

"It takes a lot away and this is why it is so important. That wrestlers performers. Become masters of their craft. When it comes to making you believe the lie. The minute I go to see David Copperfield Penn and teller, or any other great musicians. Magician. The minute I sit in my seat, I'm saying to myself I'm about to be lied to and I. Know It. But now make me scratch my head and go wait a minute. How the Hell did they do that? Make me believe all the lying and all the bullshit that you're giving me. That's why I always compare pro wrestling to magic. It's the same thing. Does the elephant really disappear. No it doesn't really disappear, but. Did. Do you give the magician a standing ovation when he makes the elephant disappear? Yes, why? Because what I. What a stupid! The elephant didn't disappear. Why are you giving him a standing ovation because? I know in the back of my mind. It did it disappear, but I don't see it I, don't. I see the backdrop but I. don't see an elephant. They. Make you believe the lie? We know we've seen enough people. Pull the curtain back on the magic industry where where we know how a trick is done. We know how the lady gets sawed in half, but meanwhile if you went to go, see a magician today, who took the lady being sought in half and put a completely new spin on it. You'd be like Oh my God i. Hope She's Ok. You completely forget you suspend that disbelief that nobody really got sawed in half. And that's what you should aspire to be in pro wrestling these days. That's where true masters of the craft that when you watch edge and Randy Orton. Are you buying every false finish? I am why because I'm so caught up in the match that it has me. I'm grabbed I'm emotionally invested correct. You're suspending your disbelief. You're believing in the Lai. That's the art form, not not back flips and dives and super kicks. Yes, that's exciting to watch and I. Understand why people like that I enjoy, too, but just like you said about things. Is Special. We can break that all the way down to moves right. Like so many moves that used to be so special that are that are just past. Say there as passe as a clothesline, but. Given, the right person, doing the clothesline, the correct way and having it sold the correct way. That clothesline becomes a big deal all over again. Yeah and we talked about this like believe ability and making things seem special and not wasting moves for the sake of making a move and the lack of finishers. I. I'll just bring this example up. I was one of my favorite foods of all time was Roddy Piper Jimmy Snuka didn't last long because things changed, but if I saw at the meadowlands right after that you know Jimmy Snuka and Roddy Piper together sharing appear and laughing and talking about how good the match was, I would be like what houses wha-wha-what. Believe it or not, you know in one, thousand, nine, hundred, Eighty, seven, when? The Iron Sheik and Hacksaw Jim. Duggan, we're pulled over on the Jersey turnpike. It was a huge story, too. I mean Hacksaw Jim. Duggan was never the same after that iron sheik was fired after that. They had some illegal substances in the car. But that's not the reason why iron sheik was fired and Hacksaw Jim Duggan. You know went from being a main vendor to being at the beginning of the card. It's because they were seen together. They broke a rule that the baby face. He'll shouldn't be.

"We're going to get no matter what. What road would you like to see them? Go Down, and would you like to see just a wrestling match which would? Would be fine, or would you like to see something a little bit more heated, personal, deep, rooted I think I. Think a little bit more personal and deep-rooted. Oh, look at the avenue. They're taking even as far as randy or in an edge pulley. We talked about it that it's very very une. WWe like to call it a wrestling match and to call their superstars wrestlers. Wrestlers, like that was something that they really kind of stayed away from that verbs yet, that's all we heard leading up to edge in war in a backlash, and when you read into what the WWe is proclaiming for tonight. It is Rick Flair, presenting Randy Orton as degrade as Rustler ever not the greatest performer, not the greatest sports entertainer, but the greatest wrestler ever so i. I really do think as of right now, and it's going to change. You know it's going to change because with ric flair involved. If Charlotte gets involved, it is going to get deep rooted. It is going to be heated, but as of right now I think they're looking at it more as an athletic competition as athletes. We always talk about when we talk about Charlotte. Amazing Athlete Charlotte is when we talk about Randy or always talk about what a great wrestler Randy your in his, so I think there's going to be the one side where it's going to get personal specially. Rick flair involved, but I also say think the one way you can play it as as a athletic competition, because when look at Randy and Charlotte, one thing, you will say they are great wrestlers, and they are great athletes. Totally agree. I believe that the stage is set for an iron man iron woman I in person. Iron Athlete. There's there. It is the you know the the iron. Athlete the Iron Wrestler Bazamba. She can't call in an iron, man or A. Woman and I in person sounds kind of I. Don't know that's Kinda Corny. Doesn't just doesn't. Doesn't have a ring to it, but the iron athlete. Or the Iron Horse of the wwe one of those matches whether they listen to I think Randy, Orton and Charlotte flair can go sixty minutes..

"Matches compared to Edge Orton did that. Stand out to you and your memories. And that really I mean I guess if I. Were to go to think about it. I kind of I mean. I wonder if there's an argument to me that Christian or actually had. Better matches had a really nice run. In two thousand eleven so. You know off the top of my head. Never really was something that I was comparing and contrasting. Who would who had the better, better better matches, but I think just you know freestyler here. I mean Oh two thousand eleven matches. Stand out, so and and you know other edge. Ordina matches have not yeah. Yeah, no I think it's worth mentioning that because there is a history there if they do more with Christian and I honestly don't know. If. That'd be advisable or or something. Christian would consider I. Think Edge suffering. A setback is sort of a reminder to anybody who used to wrestle. The things you used to do when your body handled it. It handles less easily later, although certainly his fair share of injuries in his prime to, but you know Christians like I. Don't want any part of that or how much money? Headlining what show well, maybe I can get in. So I. Don't know where they are on that. You, know I just don't know enough. About where Christians had is that and his buddies at to even presume to judge whether he should do it or not, but given their history, and yes, Christian is and always will be. Secondary to edge, you know he just. I know one of the reasons Christian left and went to was. You know to see if he could make it on his own, and not be the psychic, and I really liked his work in TNA. He wasn't anyone who made a big difference maker. He didn't bring hundreds of thousands of years with them, but then Kurt Angle thought he was going to, and he didn't really either. You know so. That's kind of the way ratings worked, but if This. Least Christian and edge doing a gram and Christian gets shape for say a summer slime match, and then edge comes back if you decides back next year and seek revenge at Mania Summer Slam in two thousand twenty one. Then you know, we get an extra an extra chapter in this with Christian and that's fine, too. I just I'm still continue to be so impressed by or I've always thought Christian did good work when he played a more serious role when he wasn't being kind of Zany. And it could not. Everyone can pull that off doing. Comedy or take team stuff and then, but I thought he's always good. I thought he really shined in. As champion, but I don't see him as a top top guy, but as a legacy star feuding. For, Ordinance Legacy starphoenix of our that Christian. Who? Is kind of in that range of being you know qualifying as a legacy star for what he has done, but again a notch below edge. I think it's suitable I. think it's important, but my coaches are moving Nova face through. But we'll see. I agree I think that's where they're going and I think you know. Whether or not Christian has national management award in or or any other match for that matter I mean I think my his work on on Monday night speech to you know my overall point of just knowing the job at hand and being able to get it done. I mean I. Think you know that for as much as it was fun to see Christian potentially. Be Back or not be back and have that be the story for raw like that angle was there to to get Randy Orton more over to get his sadistic side. You know just. Just more play and so that they can move on to bigger business with him as a stronger he'll, and you just look at what Christian did. Draw those three hours. He showed doubt. He showed some fear at the right times and I'll be able to sell for for the proper times like He. He did what had to get done and I think Jordan a stronger position this morning. He was last night as far as he'll go. He just he looks twisted and demented and I think that's GonNa play really nicely when you know drew McIntyre. Then at some point to make the save. Christian do as much acting as edge but. I, thought he. He was real strong with the range that he showed. In the storyline so far both both with edge, the edge thing was sort of like the swerve angle where I'm going to go one way, and then pull the rug out from under the person in the in the ring within the fans, and that's been overdone. You're not up for it is trying to motivate you. Had Mixed feelings about that segment, but But I thought Christian was really strong last night kind of struggling to decide whether to do it or not, and just just pride on the line, and even though. It wasn't a good idea. If we're pretending it's real Christian. No, don't do it. You know I relate to. Don't do all right. Let's up next here. Brian says, can wwe survive without live crowds in the answer in ancillary money that draws such as souvenir sales etc I know they have a stockpile of cash, but what happens if investors start selling shares cutting their losses? Is there any danger of w be going bankrupt or having to sell? The lockdown continues into next year. Boy If, they didn't have these TV contract Zach. This would be a lot more dressing of a question I mean. I don't know that the WB in the business model of Nineteen ninety-five survives. What's happening right now? I. Mean in a sense. They were a leaner company. There was there was less overhead in ninety five, and they had the headquarters that they were. You know that they had opened, but. So, yeah, in part of it would depend, too. If in ninety five they still pay per views in front of empty. You in an empty arena typesetting. Then they would be making pay per view money just like they continue to make WB network money. But boy the TV deal kicking in the way it has in continuing to abuse content that is pleasing enough to Fox Rawal last night was. All three of the hours were three of the top seven hours on cable television on Monday night in the eighteen to forty nine demographic that advertisers covet in target. They were like almost half of the top seven shows hour by hour had the top seven hours of cable, so it's not like everyone's abandoned. Show ratings are down about. Twenty percent give or take twenty thirty percent. But it's not like everybody's abandoned, and there would have been a drop off after many. Anyway. He'll probably ten or fifteen percent, not looking at a chart, but that's probably roughly the case, so it's not like. It's been a disaster for the networks so to me. I think they this at some point along the line I. Thought this is sustainable from a fan experience standpoint and I think. Think the ratings of back that up and the network subs will find out if there's been a big collapse, but I think the undertaker documentary helps. They have enough of a history and enough of libraries accurate. They can produce content that's going to be of interest to people, even if they're not producing arena wrestling, and thou show business really wasn't a big cash cow for them anymore. Emerged sales is a hit, but it's a small slice relative to their TV deal, and you know the Saudi stuff isn't coming in without doing shows over there, but they had a stockpile cash I guess my answer and told me I left anything out. Disagree with it, but. I don't think there's a huge issue with them lasting another another year. If the idea is, there is a finish line and we get back to normal, and they have a lot of room to cut salaries that they have to cut staff..

"To question number two here. We've got a question for you here on the mailbag. We'll go to Dan from San Francisco. He said on raw this week. They continued the Orange Angle involving Christian. Well Christian may or may not get back into the ring. I figured it was worth reaching out about Orton Chris past as it seems to get forgotten about when people talk about orange, best matches and programs. Both Christian and aren't seem to be better known for the characters larger Gimmick matches, but these two of these to have what still stands as one of my favorite foods and sets a matches. In recent years was surprised me. Most of the time was at my favorite of their matches. was there straight up one on one match from over the limit? Even over what people consider to be their superior summer slam about for years that stood out to me as being one of WBZ's better, no gimmick matches and it came from two guys who I didn't think. We're capable of putting on anything more than three star individual outings. I'd be curious to hear your thoughts on their future twenty eleven as well as your current opinion, whether Christian should step into the ring again like edge against Orton. Was An interesting audible Zach with edge, and the triceps injury bring a Christian in. It worked out in the sense that you know was on raw last week. I'm not sure I. Don't have memories in my head. The timeline of when they recorded edge Orton and how much that might have influenced how things were framed in the lead up to it since they prerecorded and did a lot of post production on that, but. What did you think of of Christian stepping in with edge? Where what's your? You can answer dance questions specifically, but I also WANNA. Ask You. What's your perception of Christian versus edge in terms of stature and star power as long term acts in wwe, and of course Christian had the run in TNA as NWEA world champ. Yeah, I mean. He's an interesting guy because I think he's on one hand. You know he's was a part of you know that those attitude era tag team ladder that you know an attacking feud between our knees in Christian. Will stand the test of time it was important to. Trio the WWF at the time has a company and the tag team wrestling like he really has carved out a piece of kind of wrestling history his own legacy, just just within that within that tag team, but for me it kind of it kind of ended ended there in terms of the height of his career, he had some world title runs, but you know after. Detecting with edge you really saw pretty quick. That edge was going to be you know the standup Guy and he proved it pretty was, and that's not to say that that Christians, not a good worker, or does it have his place, because he he certainly most certainly does but I. Think when you compare those two together you know edge is the one that is just plain simple had the had the better career worked? Wrestlemainia made events big programs with the undertaker and and others. And really helped. Carry smack down for quite some time you put Johnston on the map with a series of of good match, so I just think as attacking wrestler Chris always going to be remembered in high regard, but when you look towards their singles runs pretty obvious that that edges you know heads above heads above Christians to to take the emails point as far as Christian Randy Orton. Go series serious match. The two thousand eleven were. We're good, and you know I think Christian delivered in the role that he needed to. At that time we're supposed to. We're going to be a a staple. Actress staple, baby, face, or the I think it was the smackdown brand of the time You gotta get him over at that guy you know and together. They had good matches that I think accomplish. Accomplish that goal, and that might be you know the way Christian is remembered. I mean he's very much a kind of a carpenter guy. He knows what he's doing and that ring either he's a good hand He knows how to tell stories, and he also knows his place on the show. Noses place on a card and really knows what the what the task at hand is you know during a during during a wrestling match. There's all sorts of things going on and I. Think he thrives. You know in terms of just knowing this place and being able to to get the job done. And I say that as as a very very high compliment. In terms of the Christian or.

"Is that Rick Flair who you don't know who he's going to side with and the match by giving Randy Orton nut shot going full circle allowing Charlotte to win. I. Mean You know what Charlie you could go that route? I mean whether it's whether it's because he's a chauvinist or not I. don't even know if that's the point. It's this the point where you know. It's his daughter and he knows how great ran the is, and maybe that's the one mount, and she could climb and conquer like you know. He's not convinced at Charlotte can do it and doesn't want her to do it. It goes back. That actually does go back to a bully was saying with rocky to I. Don't think you can do it and then. Randy Attacks Rick Flair and then Rick Flair laid up in the hospital bed. Win Charlotte Win. It all adds up to the same equation bully. I'm just wondering it's even about the story and. Listen if you have a good story, that's fine, but I'm wondering if fans are buying it when I made the head and shoulders comment a couple of weeks ago I got a lot of heat from our nation's members, but I truly believe that she is head and shoulders. It's funny. I've spoken to a lot of fans agree with me, but they don't want to say I've talked to a lot of people that agree with me, but they don't want to say publicly. I don't mind. Mind saying that publicly I really do think she's head and shoulders above every other woman in that division so for me. This is the only way to go with Charlotte. I'm just wondering bully. If Fans WanNa, see I, can't see how they don't but I'm interested if they want to. I'm going to give you an example of two matches. That might help you. Put the head and shoulders into perspective. Can Charlotte Randy Orton have a great wrestling match. Yes, can they make it believable yes. Could Sasha. AJ STYLES HAVE A. Wrestling Match Yes they. They make it believable. Yes would charlotte's performance against Randy be head and shoulders above sharp Sasha's performance against Aj. Exactly, it's not going to be. It would be better, but it wouldn't be head and shoulders. Really it would be. You could definitively say that Charlotte versus Randy would be definitively better than Sasha verses. Aj, not head and shoulders, but I think it would be better. Yeah, no, no, you said definitively better, you know if. You. were out it wouldn't be. Eight at. Each would have an equal chance of being the better march. The four people involved. You can't say that that match that Charlotte would be head and shoulders above I didn't say so. Let me turn it around bully. Let me turn this around and I. Want you to be honest. I want you to be on I. Want you to be honest here I always okay. Charlotte and Randy would be great right gas. Charlotte. Aj I think would be great I. Serve Sasha and AJ would be great. Yes, would sasha and Randy, or and be great. It would be good, but not believable because of the size difference. That's why I gave you Sasha and AJ I was trying to give you an apples to apples. Comparison based on size, Sasha and Randy No. This is why I don't like I. Love inter-gender matches with the right women and the right men. I think that they can work okay, but when I see Jordan grace picking up Brian Cajun flipping him around, it's beyond the realm of belief ability, if Brian Cage puts himself at certain positions then I can believe it when I saw Tessa Blanchard..

"And the great thing about the finish of the matches, Charlotte does not have to go over to get over. All they have to do is have a fantastic match. And Hey. If by some reason, Charlotte was to find a way to quit catch the quick one, one two three and randy kicked the three and a half. That would be fine to. Charlotte Needs Randy Orton and Randy Orton. Mead Charlotte right now. It's the match that will have everybody talking. Let me ask you this. If that was the way they went, and there was going to be a match between Randy Orton in Charlotte flare. Could you see Charlotte now? I know you said she doesn't need to. But could you see Charlotte? Beaten Randy or is it that much of a stretch for Charlotte to beat Randy Orton. Nothing is a stretch in pro wrestling. If you do it the right way if it is booked correctly, if the psychology of the match is done correctly, then, yes, anything can happen, and you go with the most simplistic of finishes where. Randy goes for an archaic. Goes for an archaic how he misses it. Charlotte's able to slide underneath roll up one two three and randy kicks right after that three count happens. And Randy's right back on his feet stunned, so randy's not laid out from a Finnish or he's not tapping out to the figure eight. He's right back up, but Charlotte was able to catch the one two three. That's how English that Shit. Exactly thank you. I? I dropped of the. Judgment Bucket guys are great impeccable timing. The way to go I mean if it's me. The match will be phenomenal. It'll be intriguing. It'll be back and forth. They will build it to a way where you Charlotte is going to win. You Think Charlotte is GonNa Win you think Charlton Win Randy can always get the one two three, because the shot at the end is randy, extending his hand to Charlotte and.

"Almost was like. Leave me alone. Now I could be totally wrong here. I just found it very odd to see Rick Flair in the back with Charlotte flair. And get absolutely nothing out of the backstage segment now. Maybe other people got something out of it I. Didn't and I kinda put it under a microscope and tried to figure it out. And it wasn't until the end of the show until I started scratching my head and go and Rick comes in and nut shots Christian. There are people on social media saying bully. Why did Rick Flair do that? Why would he do that? Why would he do that well? It's called evolution douche nozzles. That's why he would do it. Right Yup. A history come on, do there's a history there? rix The dirtiest player in the game. Rick and Randy Evolution Yada Yada Yada. But what Rick did was pretty low down. especially to a guy like Christian who hasn't wrestled in God knows how long. Do. You think that Charlotte would ever be annoyed with what her dad did. That's. Rick's always calling Charlotte the best wrestle the best wrestler. And he's always calling randy the best wrestler, the best wrestler. What if dad need to make a decision about who the best really was? CHARLOTTE OR RANDY I mean. If if we've heard, we've heard Charlotte say in interviews that she wants to wrestle a man she she has said that publicly. Yes, and if you're gonNA, wrestle a man. Is there any man better to wrestle than Randy Orton well? Just listen from what he said on roll last night. He said at the beginning of that show he won the greatest wrestling match ever that makes him the greatest wrestler you mentioned that filler segment that I called between Charlotte and Rick backstage, but what it Charlotte's say to rick. She said there's a lot of people that bugged me here but I. do what I want to do an rick. How did that end? Rick giving her thumbs up? It sounds outlandish, but if you talk about the conversations that you and I have had about Charlotte in that, there's really nothing left for her to do in the women's division. She's done every. She's won every title including the annexed died. She comes back to Monday night raw. Randy Orton claiming he's the best wrestler. And then Charlotte says she does whatever she wants to do. And then you have the involvement of Ric flair I don't know bully doesn't really sound outlandish. If you look at all the evidence, that has happened over the course of nine only on Monday night raw what she said publicly that she does want to get into the ring with a male competitor now. Did you get that after watching last night or did it just come to? Coming to focus for you when I laid it all out, you a came. It came into focus as you laid it all out and the key, and this is the beauty of what you're saying bully. The key is the back stayed segment with ric flair. Because again in the moment when you're watching it, it's a nothing segment. It means absolutely nothing. It's almost like all right. We just put this together, so ric flair in Charlotte could say do I mean seriously?.

"And there's an emotional connection what better way than with Ordinance Christian and if anybody was watching that show? Show, from the START I would have to think they had to stick around to the end of that show, not only because you care about or in Christian, but like you said they did enough during the course of the show to grab your attention and I know we said this at the beginning of the story with a word in an edge, but I really felt it last night with Randy your. He's on a different level than he's ever been in his career that Promo that started that show last night gave me goosebumps. You know the things that he was saying about edge. You know talking about how he's now the greatest wrestler. referencing the legend killer, you know saying that you know ages you know you know. He's cleared to return July of two thousand and twenty nine those little things. You know man. This is like a different randy, or then we've seen over the last ten years. I've always said that he's a bit under appreciated. You've said that they really have him. Put Him in a position over the last few years for him to succeed and I think right now. He's doing the best work of his career. It's not about them putting him in a position to succeed. It's about the wwe putting him in the ring with somebody that complements him well, and that can, he can work with and up to. Randy was in the ring with guys. That were you know? Quote Unquote beneath him. Meaning they were always trying to work up to Randy Orton level or guys that were on the same level with where randy can just do this blind, just wrestling match after wrestling match generic story after generic story. Now we get something completely different with with edge. We get back story. We get history we get. Friendship, we get family. We get all of this stuff coming to ahead. And what do we? What do we have with edge that we don't have with almost the entire WWe roster, an emotional connection, a love relationship. We look at edge with our hearts, not with our brains. This is our die. This is our guy. That not only gave us some of the greatest TLC matches. This is a guy that was also a credible world heavyweight champion. We are all in on edge. And that that's what randy or need it all this time I've been for the past year and a half, or so I've been saying that Randy ordered needed the right guy, and that's when you'd see Randy Orton flourish edge is the right Guy Trust me. Randy even knows that randy in his heart knows that he needed edge to randy need edge to work another ten years, and to keep making millions and millions of dollars..
The Broken Brilliance of Matt Hardy
"True. Blood was one of the shows that I watch whenever I like had burn out at the end of my wb run. And then once I start started doing some ring of honor and eventually I ended up going back to impact. I wasn't working fulltime. I discovered television. I was a big fan of Dexter True detective later on became big. Love Mind but true. Bought also is a show on joy and following these vampires. Who lived in all these different eras and different time periods and they were like relative to the error and I was like I wish I could like have a character that that's really what I wanna do so I started thinking about it and trying to apply like a the life of vampire who's lived two thousand years to a wrestling character and then what I came up with was like what if something happened to me whereas like this big traumatic incident and ended up being jeff diving off the top of the impact zone. That broke me but like opened up parts of our mind and I use more of my mind than rail human does and like I become conscience of conscious of like where my soul has been in different bodies in different vessels. So it's like you have a soul that lives in a in a vessel a body for so long and then that vessel dies in the news onto the next one and that was my whole motivation behind creating broken matt. It was like more or less from true blood and seeing like vampires live for thousands of years in different time periods. That had different experiences that you had a girlfriend in the thirteen. Hundreds and a girlfriend in the fifteen hundreds or you know the lived at one point through the black plague you know then maybe they lived through. World War Two. You know just just different time periods like that which totally allows you to change up so many things even before left. Tna started doing some of that where I revert back back to the king and gold which was my original vessel which was from Alexandria Egypt. You know which King Tut or something. Yeah exactly I had a whole bunch of ideas of of different things to do and now that I'm here today. W actually have started again now. My vessel zenith was killed off by Kenyan never revealed dish but like Ken Again. Ultimately becomes like a kind of a reference light for an essence that is like events in the. Wbz In some ways and can again you know because like the very end Kennedy Kennedy and then the very end. The Gin is like Megan spelled backwards. Where like a sanctuary? And if you know him from the walking dead like you come in you can have a good life there but like you have to like bow down to him and do whatever he says. And that is kind of the deal. And that's where I created that turn and then abomination was the other thing and that was like an extension from from Ray and I love that I took like Abigail and bray being deleted in the lake of reincarnation and then I got part of Abigail an abomination in the water. Whenever I was being trying to found my broken brilliance and the whole thing I tried to tie in like different universes and I love doing the stuff with Randy Orton at the very end because I was able to tie that in to a different universe which allowed me to come in. Aws as a new character now. My new essence is Damascus is oppose Zenith Zenith died. He was killed by abomination and Kenyon. And now I am in Damascus Damascus. In my vessel and Damascus's as an older more powerful essence the hairs rat obviously and Damascus. From nine ninety nine BC. A lot more vicious on more serious did I. I if I if I was stoned right now I just did. This reminds me of when I was about twelve years old playing dungeons and dragons and we would play for weekends at a time and I would come home am. I would tell my mom all of this stuff. Like you're telling me and she'd be like I don't know what you're talking about. But the nation that you're showing for this is off the charts and this is what I love about your kind of breakthrough like listen. You're accused of broken. Matt was different level. Shit for me that that description years gave like. That's a novel. It's like Frank Herbert in Dune or something like that. How long were you seeing things? Did you put it on paper? Are you coming up with all this? I mean a lot of that really just like I drew stuff for my from television shows. I'll watch you're writing down and coming. This beget sometimes I would. I would try to make it a habit if I came up with something as a really radical trump. Put it in my phone so hidden even like when I said like you know my my primal passengers. That was a big thing with broken matt back in the day and I was even from like Dexter in the dark passenger so like I'm so inspired by that. He falls a song dark passenger by the way. Yeah yeah so many cool things and like Joe Rushton coal from detective an amazing character. There's a lot of things I tried to pull that Mcconnell that was that was the best season yes never even come close. No I mean it was off the charts. So there's definitely things up pool and like there's just so much great content and so much media out there to watch nowadays I'll watch something if I'm very intrigued by show. I'll usually bill to find something that I go. I could apply this to my character in some way and and make it work and the cool thing about broken matt and the broken universe kind of anything is possible especially like the hardy compound is like a property. Were everything's magic so there's really. It's like limitless. There's no bound Jeff live to your no because both live on the same plot of land we have eighty eighty makers in the woods. Yeah in the woods on the best place to be right now during the end all right hang on the gate but I wanna talk a little because like I said when we talked to Broken Matt we talked about his essence but actually talking to Matt Hardy when you filmed all these amazing just short films is the Best Way. I can describe. Wasn't even Vignette and there's so much invention and imagination and I mean obviously revs your wife King maximum his senior. Benjamin like where? Where are you getting ideas to like? It's like a Ralph. This thing like did you see him around. And you'll be great silent. Man Like senior bedroom was huge. I it's incredible how people love that. Shit that's why no they do. I mean is a senior. Benjamin was so great and the funny thing is if you ever meet him. Is that nicest sweetest Guy Alive in existence and like with him just like we have to keep him very limited. You know people say like Oh brother He's recall right said what was in the business. He worked for Carlito's data's he didn't know anything about the business. He was a superintendent in New York. City is what do you ever hear when he was on? Chona's podcast news. I thought that was a Mexican from the. They played from Puerto. Rico oh so. He was a superintendent in New York City building. All kill. He was a super. He was the super of the building. You know took your manager janitor and did all the work in this big ass apartment building queens and it was like he had no idea about wrestling so like literally everything we did. We coached him through so I will do everything. I could distraught. Protect him and make him seem like this guy who's like a gardener which he really is and he has a great passion. Gardner from for for gardening and for having a garden and is as Gardner. Who like has this like mean streak who like likes to do cruel and unusual things to people or prepare the battle for master? Whatever may be and is crazy like we protected them very hard and it worked and he had over huge he got over really is like I said I think there was t shirts involved there was. There's a lot of different Senior Benjamin stuff and It brings me to this. I have to put some ads in here. I got to take care of a sponsor before we continue about senior Benjamin Sponsors Max Health. Matt guys have her be talking about olmecs freeze. Cd ROLE ON FOR MONTHS. Now and that's because it really works. I love it. Take it with me wherever I go. And if you guys are suffering from chronic pain

"The good habits competent when it comes to smart fans you know when we use a smart mark You know sometimes it's smarter. They are the harder they fall. The hard they fall for it. And there's a lot of smart fans out there for that fall for stuff out there on social media that just makes me laugh out loud because they fall hook line and sinker. I appreciate the smart fans that we have here in the nation who can watching go. Wow this was really good but it's actually gets fans to think in a creative way. They can appreciate what they're seeing but then think about it a little more going. Wow what if? They did this and what they did that. And that's like the conversations that I enjoy like every once in a while we get somebody who calls and comes up with a really good idea that I popped for and that and that you like also and you can watch wrestling from a smarter point of view in which you're still entertained. I think that's a fun way to watch wrestling. And again it's not bashing the segment and at the end of the day bull. You said at the start it off. You really enjoyed the segment between Matt. Hardy and Randy Orton. But you just want to see a little bit more spice in a little bit more realism and I think judging social media a lot of our nation feels the same. Do you want to go out to the busted open because there's a lot of people that want to join in on the conversation? Bully before you do. I just want to ask you your opinion of something. Sure remember when we used to watch Georgia championship wrestling back in the day. Remember if there was a big beat down how they would send some like enhancement. Talent from the back or some younger is from the back just to make it seem like somebody gave a shit about the baby face who was getting beaten down right. I mean look at look at the story they told here comes Matt Hardy to defend edge. The last person who should want to defend edge is matt hardy because of the real life personal situation that went on but he was able to put that personal vendetta with Randy in the put to the side because of the history that Matt and edge had with each other in the ring. And here's Matt Hardy to stand up and be the valiant warrior for edge. But now he gets his ass kicked for two weeks but not and there's not one guy in the back does not one woman in the back. There's nobody who wants to come to match aid Matt Hardy from the hardy boys who are loved and revered throughout the entire world come on. That's such an obvious thing to me. But I digress. See with the nation has decided. Let's go out to the busted open. Let's go out to Austin and Baltimore Austin. What'd you WANNA say about Randy? Hey guys I just wanted to say that I thought Randy awards genius once again really stuck out in that segment and I think that we need to put this guy in the category of heels because I'm only twenty so obviously there's guys like Roddy Piper who. I didn't get to see too much of but I can't really think of a better. He'll in my lifetime than Randy Orton in segments like last night when he arcade. Stephanie McMahon logged triple h was handcuffed and stuff like that is what makes me think that. What do you guys think because I think he's probably the most underrated he'll I think it's about time he gets put in that goat category. Well I mean great. Call Austin thanks for it bully. I've said it a ton of time on this show. I think Randy Orton under appreciated. And I know that sounds silly because we all know when it's all said and done that's a guy who's a first ballot hall of. Famer you know in any hall of fame when it comes to pro wrestling but a lot of time. He's under appreciated. 'cause he's not that name that we quickly say when we talk about the best of the best in pro wrestling but he proves time and time again especially as a heel that he is one of the greatest of all time. They've even hear me say it for a long time. It was something about Randy that was missing and it had nothing to do with randy because nothing missing from Randy's game he was just missing the right die to stand across from and now he has it in edge and now for the past couple of weeks. He's had it with Matt. Hardy Randy was just missing that story that he could really sink. His teeth into randy is a master puppeteer and he's skillful surgeon for the past two weeks. You've witnessed you've listened and you've and you've watched him play. Those crowds like a puppeteer. He has them eating out of the palm of his hand. He's playing them. He's slowing down with his movement. He slowing down with his verbiage to the point that those fans are into everything that he does and says he moves the fans in directions that he wants to move them in and then he's a master surgeon. Look at what he did with that chair last night. You have to be really really great at what you do with weapons and levels of violence like that for guys to put their lives in your hands because trust me last night. That's putting your life in somebody else's hand trust to the next level and that's why Randy is as great as we talk about here on the show. I was thinking that last night. How Much Trust Matt Hardy must have and Randy or that? He swung the chair like he did. When hat head was on the steps and made it looked so realistic. Like like you're right that that's like a surgeon. I mean that is a guy who knows every inch of the ring inside and out to be able to perform that see it on TV and make it look as real as humanly possible. The most difficult part of doing what they did last night for Matt. Hardy is laying there in anticipation you never know when that shot is going to come but you have to lay there motionless not reacting and the body wants to react the body will always. WanNa save itself. It's instinctual as a wrestler. You have to train yourself to not be so instinctual so to lay there like Matt. Hardy did and just wait and wait and wait because he doesn't know when Randy is going to do it because Randy's listening to the crowd land. Randy's playing off the crowd. Hell Randy still been sitting there today. Work at nine thirty this morning. Working the crowd and they would have still been playing into it. So Max gotta sit there and sit there and sit there and then all of a sudden wham when that steel chair hits those steps it will ring through your brains. It's not easy to just lay there. It's one of the most difficult things to do. Personally Dave whenever I used to have to get hit in the back of the head and wrestling you know somebody would hit me from behind. I always had to spend my head around just enough just to catch him out of the corner of my eye because I was never comfortable with being blasted from behind. Not Knowing it was common. It's one of the things that I just wasn't I just wasn't really good at. I always had a sneak. Peek usually peaks every once in a while to catch sometimes more than three seconds three. If it's three seconds we've got to have a conversation but what I'm saying is Matt. Hardy is a warrior for laying there and taken it like a true professional Mike. What you're hearing catch busted open live Monday through Saturday from nine. Am to noon eastern on Sirius. Xm FIGHT Nation Channel. One fifty six or on demand with the Sirius Xm APP. This is a good time taking just a bit of a break from Monday night. Raw they you and I give our thoughts about what took on Sunday and he just heard it. Rea- Ripley defending her annexed women's championship against Bianca Belair. And what was I thought a good match Sunday between the two Dave? What's even more interesting than the fact that they had? A good match was a lot of the feedback on Social Media. Fans UPSET THAT BIANCA. Belair did not win. You Know Mark Henry. Re tweeted something our very own mark. Henry are Mark Henry. Who WILL BE ON? Wwe backstage tonight looking forward to that. Had to go out there and trump. I was on the bump he gets to be on bats and by the way I mean it's great to see Mark Henry on. Wwe backstage and we'll talk about it tomorrow. Might Tommy and I but again another busted open member doing stuff with the wwe. I'm just saying and I hope he man I hope mark goes on there and says what he wants to say. Yeah because then we're going to have to come on the show tomorrow on tomorrow's dammit mark. Why don't you speak your mind anyway? Mark retweeted somebody the other night and I guess this person was being very critical about Bianca. Not Winning and marks like chill out man. She had a great performance. She had great gear. She acknowledged black history month. She did. She did a phenomenal job. And Mark was getting a Shitload of negative feedback on that tweet from people say no it should have been bianca. It shouldn't Bianca should have been bianca. Why why should it have been Bianca right now? They readjust won the championship. Ria has been on Monday night raw with Charlotte Charlotte attacked Ria like why should it have been bianca? Now it's not the right moment for Bianca and we know damn well that Bianca has an incredibly bright future and I gotta tell you after seeing Bianca the past couple of weeks she might have a brighter. Future Than Rea- Ripley. That I agree with. David me ask you this based on the match that you saw the other night by Bianca Andrea right this very second if Wrestlemainia is going to be a singles match Charlotte. We know it's going to be Charlotte and Ria but from an entering performance point of view and an athletic ability point of view. Would you give it to Ria or would you give it to Bianca? I actually said that before the match took place in like you just said it confirmed what. I thought what I saw on Sunday. Bianca Bel Air to me with in a match with Charlotte at wrestlemainia would be a much better match and she's more ready. I believe than rea- Ripley and this is not a knock on rea- Ripley bully and I know a lot of people are going to take it that way and I'm sure they're gonNA go to social media and Bitch and Moan. But when I see Rio Ripley I see somebody. That's super talented has amazing size. Looks the part but I feel is just not ready yet and there's no shame in saying that when I look at Bianca Belair I I saw star long before what I've seen over the last couple of months but mench if anybody is ready it's Bianca Bel Air and I'd rather see a match with her at WRESTLEMAINIA WITH CHARLOTTE. Dan with Ria Ripley. Use Use the word you said. She's much more ready like you think she's light years ahead of Rio right now. I think as an athlete or athleticism is sick. I mean she is just a tremendous athlete and and she. She really is the part like she. You you feel star when you see Bianca Bel Air and I love the dynamic and the chemistry between her and Charlotte so yes I think right now. She's head and shoulders above rea- Ripley right now. A couple months ago we were. You know especially myself was putting rea- over to the moon and I still will because she deserves it absolutely and I set and I said man stature. Her look everything about her. I could definitely see her standing face to face with Charlotte and that's what they gave us but man Bianca has creeped up and she has put her foot on the gas pedal and she's like. Nah You're not GonNa Forget about me because I look as good as Ria. I probably cut a better promo then rea- and I'm more athletic than Ria so I I'm telling you that she standing out to me but for her to win the other night absolutely not. It doesn't matter right not the right time. That's what's force-feeding there's no reason for for Bianca Belair to beat Rio. Now people slow and steady wins the race. You always want a slow burn one. It comes to building a megastar too much too soon burns out a talent trust me..
"orton" Discussed on Busted Open
"There's no reason for drew McIntyre to be that drew McIntyre is in a story with Brock Laszlo. That's where they're going with drew. You don't WanNa cloud things you don't want to cross the streams so drew would not have been. You don't want anybody there that's going to have to be forced into the angle. If they do show up you WANNA send people down. You WanNa send unlikely heroes. You want to send down some wrestlers. Who were in the back? That just happened to be watching on the screen saying hey man we gotta go help Matt Hardy. How come when Matt Hardy came out. We didn't have doctors in front of him. Say No matter. You can't go out there. You can't go out there. You can't go out there. Randy just told us that he was trying to get cleared by doctors so if Matt came out there and I would have seen one or two doctors trying to stop them from coming out. I'd been okay. They connected their dodge right there because the doctors are trying to stop them if I would have seen a couple of producers from wwe if I would have seen like an atom appears or a Some Finley are some of the other producers going. You can't go out there. You can't go out there now I get it. They're trying to stop him. They're trying to save Matt Hardy from himself. They're trying to save Matt from Randy. But then Matt tells these guys you got to get out of my way man you gotta get out of my way. You know what he did was wrong. Come on you were a wrestler. You know this is wrong. Come on come on Who who's like you said like you said CR Adam you know this. You know this is wrong. And those those wrestlers those producers. Kinda looked down in a way and they walk walk away and now Matt. Hardy GOES TO THE RING. And now we get the physicality and now while the physicality is going on. I mean the guys in the neck brace. Wwe is so protective of everybody when they have these injuries. You send down a flock of referees. And when the referees can't get closer Randy Orton physicality you send down some some some of the cavalry. Some of some of the lower card baby faces who can at least show that they give a shit. That's the main part. That's a disconnect for me loved the entire segment. I can't I could sit here for three hours and tell you how Great Randy Orton and Matt already are in general and how great they were last night. But it's the little things that we're always talking about. That would make the segment more credible and more believable. I agree like it doesn't take away from what was without a doubt to me the best segment of the night. Very good segment You saw a motion from the crowd. They did a great job of showing close ups of some of the fans in the crowd. Now on the other side I wish fans would buy in a little bit more. I didn't need to hear the chance of one more time. When Orton was using the chair I mean I wish fans would buy a little bit more because they certainly did when a cap into edge and even when it happened to matt the first time but that crowd in Washington got a little bit too clever for me but that aside they did. They did do a phenomenal job. But like you said bully even if it was at the end even as as just as a way to get randy or added a ring it would have been a lot more credible to have wrestlers. Come out to at least come to Matt. Hardy's eight and you mentioned from people in the back doctors and that could have been solved easy to they could said Matt. Please don't go out there. Don't go out there and get. Hey I just wanted to talk to them. We're not getting physical. I'm not going to have a match. I just need to talk to Randy Orton. That would have been a good credible way to get around it but it would have had that realism where people aren't scratching their heads. You could have had the doctors trying to stop Matt Hardy from coming out. You could have sent down some referees to at least get close to Randy. Not just two referees. A bunch of referee. Give me six seven eight referees because it shows that the wwe gives a crap. Give Me Jessica car. The female referee to stand up to Randy Randy threaten to hit her with the chair and her having to back off. Give me all these little things that lend credibility to the story and when the referees can't seem to stop randy and I'm not asking for the referees to try to physically stop randy when they stop them. Randy does the first bit of business with Matt. Now after he gets his head caved in the first time you would think that some wrestlers in the back who we always see watching the monitor would come down to try to help on the second shot and if I just picked out Cedric Zach. Just off the top of my head. You send those guys out. The crowd comes up because they see somebody actually cares about Matt Hardy. Just as much as the fans care about Matt Hardy and then boom or K. O on the floor or on the floor and Mac and randy goes right back to the dirty work that is storytelling with depth and people. This is not mean nitpicking. I swear to you. I'm not nitpicking. I saw a couple people on social media last night after I tweeted about the angle. Oh here come here bullies going to say how they did it better and bullies going to go on the show tomorrow and he's going to nitpick to me. This is not nitpicking. This is obvious as a smack in the face to me like if I'm the one putting this together. This is the the referees and the doctors and the other baby faces coming down is as important to the angle as Matt and Randy are quit makers.

Brett Bivens discusses Spotify, Audio, and Business Model Leverage –
"Joined here today by Brett Bins Brett. Tell us a little bit about who you are and what you do great. Thanks for having me David so I am On the investment team that is Chicago based firm called Texas were an early stage. Investment firm with a Malo very focused on working at the intersection of early stage emerging ventures early stage technology companies and the corporate universe. So we partner with large corporates builds vertical focus funds owns those corporates and then go out and invest in early stage companies. That we think are going to have an outsized effect on the markets that are corporate partners operate in and I think sort of as it relates to our conversation in the audience podcast Were extremely active investors in the in the world of audio so we've been investing in the world of audio for Three or four years. Now we've been working in the audience. Space With company that I think a lot of people recognize called Scheuer. Barry for microphones and headphones and things like that And that's been a really really interesting journey to kind of better understand how audio and voice and all of these new devices devices that are proliferating in terms of daily usage. Really impacting the way that we lived. So yeah so that's a little bit about US Like I said we were based in Chicago. L. On personally based in Paris I moved over here about a year and a half ago to expand our firm expand our operations in a little bit of our invested purview over here so kind of a cool cool opportunity for me who experiences a get a sense for all the innovation all the venture activity. Everything that's happening across the pond as well we we very nice So yeah I mean you know the reason I I wanted to bring bread on today. I came across him on twitter. Twitter you continues to be the king of Just finding awesome individuals and in really smart people and I'd seen him pop up from a lot of the people that I had followed. Were retweeting stuff and I came across this piece that he wrote. That was all around negative. Churn and what he is defined as business model leverage bridge and. I'm GonNa let him explain that a little bit but I think ultimately I want I wanted him to come on because I think that he has a really interesting perspective. Give on some of the topics that I've been talking a lot about through the blog in through the podcast which is the whole Daniel notion that You know when he posed the question. Shen after the anchor in the Gimblett media acquisition Saying are is really worth ten times more than our ears so I think Brett Kinda head come across cross this in in in in his approaching it from a different standpoint you know with his venture capital firm So why don't you tell us a little bit about that piece that you wrote in the whole premise. Behind behind it. Yeah so I guess. Firstly you kind of mentioned the The Daniel Eck notion of audio being more valuable. It's kind of given credit for and I think that's that's been something that we've seen not only in the relationship that we have in the audio stance with sure that I mentioned earlier but part of our her model in part of our purview on the ecosystem. That's been really really enlightening terms of how we think about the importance of audio generally is all these other markets that we operate rated that we have funds in in areas like fitness and wellness Marine and outdoor recreation industrial spaces public safety. What's been super fascinating about about that in kind of gets to the point of audio underestimated overall is? Just how Orton audio invoices becoming across industries across use cases. You know it's not just about music it's not just about podcast. It's not just about audio books. Things like that. I mean it really has a has a massive impact across you know all of our experiences. So that's super interesting in that. All of that kind of put together you kind of said led me to really dig in a lot more on spotify over really about the last year and a half or so and kind of got me like you said to this this idea of business model leverage which I think spotify is a pretty unique company the in a sense that most companies have grow get to scale and have other expansion opportunities They can they can go in a number of different directions for the most part. The expansion opportunities that those companies have are lower margin. Less attractive overall are going to detract from sort of the multiple that that company trades that. Because they've sort of come out of the gate with their best idea. Were spotify's kind of opposite a lot of it so they came out of the gate with this this music streaming business. which is you know a really really interesting way for them to do kind of owned the demand and and get a deep relationship with the customer? But maybe it's not the most attractive business from an economic perspective yongli euros profit margins exactly people people kind of Understand this pretty well now especially with the big push that they've made into podcasting over the last year but they sorted exist in this marginal cost world where with each incremental stream. They're paying more You know paying again for that. And so they're they're kind of limited in terms of

Clutter vs. Hoarding: Whats the difference?
"Starting right off can you tell us what the general population doesn't understand about hoarding that they think they do all the general population I think believes that ah boarding is necessarily a dirty chaotic math and that's not true horning has three criteria games lead and on each of those three criteria are met whatever you're looking at at that point in time anyway isn't necessarily according situation what are the criteria over I is there is an excessive accumulation what most people would call an excessive accumulation and I say a failure to resolve that proportionately now that does not mean one thing in in one thing out what it means this that fundamentally inside yourself you either don't have or you have a broken checks can balanced system that tells you when things are starting to get out of hand so that you can do it when it's a smaller job which is easier obviously the second is that some or all of the living space is now that can be your home your office your car your backyard in your garage can be anywhere where you live so spaces can't be used for their intended purpose you can still do. ooh functions in your home but you are not doing them in the spaces where they were intended to be done that's Orton because you probably don't have the tools to do those jobs and you're probably adding to the clutter by leaving these lines around rather than put it away when you bought back kind of disruption the third criteria is somebody's upset distress or impairment in functioning still living there but now you're adopting you're stepping over things you're moving things off of a chair so that somebody has a place to sit you stop inviting people home because you're embarrassed about the conditions so half of your social most of your story social life happens outside your home now there's one key thing about that stress or impairment in functioning doesn't mean hey that those people have to be distressed right now you tap to tick that box if people who need to know if they knew the truth about the condition of the property would have caused to be concerned that's your neighbor who is at increased risk that your family members your pets the fire department children's Services Animal Control Bylaw property standards of here in a multi unit dwelling so you can see how hoarding is not an individual problem the happens and `isolation I really appreciate you sharing that because of course one of the things that I've learned is while my family members may hang onto things longer than I do they don't meet that criteria they can still use their kitchen as a kitchen they can still use their living room as a living room and they invite people over all the time so it shows there's at least from my perspective that I see hoarding as hanging onto stuff that I don't like when an actuality it's causing this I don't WanNa use the word trauma but maybe it's causing distress in their lives is that accurate yeah it does cause stress sometimes because the individual themselves realizes that this is not a good situation for me or for if you have a family your family sometimes the distress that Gabe is also or more about I just wish people would get off my back I don't think there's anything wrong with this I think have the the right to live the way I want to live well that's true but I'm to a point everything has limits when you create a hazard for yourself no matter how big or how small that has it is you are probably also creating a hazard certainly in horning situation and it will go on to create a public health and safety hazard as well because true hoarding is a compulsion compulsive disorder is there a relationship among hoarding versus cluttering versus collecting versus hanging onto things is it may be longer than the average is it all part and parcel of the same thing or is it just completely separate and I'm barking up the wrong tree not necessarily so reporting is though to some even a minimal degree those three criteria got attacked that pointing all right what we don't know however is every single person who hoards has told me that they started out with clutter but every person who has clutter is not asa -sarily going to go on to develop hoarding disorder the difficulty is that at the inception of at the early early stages according it's hard to tell whether that's just clutter or whether you are really headed down a path you probably don't want to go oh down I want people to think more about that compulsion that driving need to have assorted choirs things or get the deal or all of those triggers that the people at the other end of the spectrum of according look back and go boy that was a telling sign I wish I wish I'd known that that was a dangerous sign is it possible for ready to be a hoarder and be super organized clutter free I mean it seems like it would be right because of your three criteria but it it doesn't sound right like how can you be clean and organized and also a hoarder they seem mutually exclusive but I suspect they're not no they're not with some of the people bill that I work with are extremely high functioning at not all my clients but I have had a number of lawyers I've had a number of physician Shins I've even had some practicing psychiatrists who get caught up in that sense of being overwhelmed at work they are are high functioning are organized in this other area of their life not so much but I've also had people who were just average people and they are meticulously clean and tidy they are also very well organized it's about the excessive accumulation though gave it doesn't matter how tidy or how need or how organized you are if you have an excessive humilation than you have a problem all right because we have relationships with our things each of the things that we make them into Nafta keep we former relationship with those things it's not just a matter of Bo you have this that and the other and and you don't really need it if you start treating T.j stickhandling logic internally where you can't decide no you don't make six toasters but you can't decide we check the four or five you should let go and what to do about them that becomes a problem as you're talking about letting things go I I'm reminded of the television shows the sensational houses it just filled to the brim where they just do this massive clean out just get rid of so much stuff one of the things that they talk about on those shows is what's going to prevent the person from just filling the house back up of just re-acquiring everything absolutely happy you asked that question unless there is is an immediate threat to safety and life if at all possible avoid the extreme cleanup now there are occasions when the situation has gone on too long it is too intensely deteriorated and a clean-up does me needs to be done but they always cause additional damage and trauma sometimes ever for the safety of the individual and community it has to happen that is a real pity that's why I'm so happy to be on your podcast helping people understand the sooner you identify it the smaller the problems the less distress if you have the opportunity if you have the choice it's the data the other way help that person but don't tell them what the answer is only they know the answer of what's important help them find find your best friends among that clutter it's going to be much easier for you to identify the other things that are just hangers-on they got caught up in the clutter in the chaos in the piles when unimportant is mixed with really shortened in a pile the whole pile whether specific items are absolutely no importance to you or not that whole pile heels as important as the most important thing you believe in that pile that's why slow and daddy wins the race and you are one hundred percent correct Gabe you do an intensive clean up like that and the moment that door shop it starts again because if nothing changes nothing changes can you describe some of the barriers to letting go of things why are people so fast needed with hanging onto multiple toasters multiple television just multiple numbers of the exact same thing quite often gave the about having not using and people who are in this mental situation of hoarding disorder they acquire things because things sues them we all need ways to sues ourselves and these individuals have lost because the ability to south soon they also believe that increasing numbers of things are important for valuable sometimes it's just the process of decision making it's extremely difficult particularly when you're as overwhelmed these folks are to make decisions you can live with and if you just get rid of things and some people do that they try to remedy the situation just by pell-mell getting rid of things what happens is you create a void in yourself and then you fill that void in generally you fill it
Lisa Meiring CEO of Radical Results Consulting providing success and mindset strategies
"Jumping and getting I often find that those morning hours if I can just once I moved from that space of me into the doing that if I don't jump into my hi doing with emails in kind of monotonous kind of task but much more focused. This is a big project that I'm working on right now if I he is the first ninety minutes out of the day as a way to dive in those in most important projects I can really stay on track on what I'm putting out into the world I completely agree keeps with an intention and bogus said canvas highlight ration- and I it's so I think in getting your phone out of your sight for the first hour you can't clay of your ability because otherwise your email in the messages in voicemails he's not take over and run. You opposed to you running the day and they're low energy task right. I mean e mail. Social media are going to be low energy task so use. Here's your high energy task with those high energy create creativity type projects in that first part of the day and that's really powerful yet exactly a huge assessed now just having that positive and create a time with yourself and your attention absolutely so these are great practices for everybody. You be thinking about it. How do you start your day now. How do we attract more of what we want and charlize well. The law attraction is always working. I I think always address to get really what you want. The track what you want it's thinking out outed what you can't just think about what you really want. We have to do something with awe. Even if you manage to think about what you want several times a day is another step to take contract to get in harmony with those desires so the process that I I've used in learn. It is released with building idea image in your mind of what you want and getting crystal clear about it. Sometimes that's the trickiest. Heartless also helps script. Kelsey get clarity by the way Nice holy image okay. Here's what I want then. You get emotionally involved with it. That's how you internalize. Imagine you know the thoughts when they're mixed with feeling or emotion they started to constitute force which starts to to attract what you want and they are okay. This is my goal and year. How would I feel when it when accomplished absolutely my husband and I am popping champagne or just being excited foul and I think that's a really important designation because we can you know we can envision Asian. Hey I want a new car. I want a new whatever you know. They're like we can't just put our our mind around and just assume that it's going to show up but if we are really wanting to step into the feelings and the emotions of that what that success might feel like liked. You're wanting to attract into your life then you can you can you can play with the feelings of how how how you're stepping into it. How Hi you're moving through it. you know what does it feel like when your you know on vacation in your with your husband having having a glass of wine or champagne. Why does it feel like that's a different level of attraction than just envision it and it will all come. You're so exactly writings. The there is a stage where people of inside mall for Vision bores invisible those photos boat it doesn't isn't we don't just get to ensure our week. Get the motion of is his internalizing it ourselves. It's it's exactly right being mindful careful what we oftentimes get emotionally involved with what we don't want and we'll start to see that too the right right if we're play. We're playing too much on that what we don't want we continue to attract more of that in so yeah. I know you already mentioned something about ritual but I want to just go back to that because I agree that rituals are just such a key important part of how we live our alikes. If we can create ritual recently I've been playing I've been reading the book called Lunar Abundance which is just fabulous book and it's really about tapping into into the lunar cycles and and you know finding the rhythms every yen in your young and it's such a beautiful way to do it. I mean when I rebranded rand my company. A few years ago I played with eclipses so I love to play with. Ritual been something for me that it's that speaks to me. I find like like my inner. Wisdom flows up through me. It comes to get visions. I get ideas. I get breakthroughs when I get when I bring more ritual into my at life sometimes that means just getting out in nature going on a hike and it could be as simple as that. What are your rituals you incorporate into your life and why yeah so what we talk about in that morning time that creating intention for your day and just orienteer- you having south law than awesome moment it doesn't have to be at people as the hours of time you know it doesn't have to be but however it is for you. Just start with win in your day whatever that looks like and then the ritual how you end your day a heat is ultimately. Oem Orton arts walls. your evening rituals yet so romy anything it's almost it's consistency and doing things repetitively elite too but the end of the day really writing your four. I'm laid to rest on my day like okay. So the beginning of day is intended attended. I need it and not in a judgmental way beating ourselves up ways that we can grow can often you're going to celebrate what you gotTa do what you got done in a day just because so often we moved through so much and we don't even recognize what we've we've accomplished in a day. It's so true absolutely and then even thinking about with going back to that goal so what do I what am I really going for. What am I working towards before you go precisely because it goes into your self conscious mind and while you sleep it combining solutions ideas which is powerful with setting ritual is so often this may be helpful or unless nurses disagree on one thing at a time you know. I think we try to do so much. You donate started morning routine. Are you're going to add this virtual and it becomes overwhelming what I did is. I looked at my day things I didn't I knew you in my heart weren't survey me or or kind of kept me from achieving when I was working for L. A. or whatever it may be. I started MENA work on recreating at our ritual in that space replace that that negative and then worked on it all the time. I Master Astor yeah. I think that's a great point is do you know do something you know one thing at adopt new practices one thing at a time the other thing. I find find useful with my rituals even on my morning rituals. I am not because I am such a doer and I tend to get into the same sorts of things on a regular basis. I actually make my my morning time. I give myself flexibility in what I do with that in writing so I have that hour of time that I set aside but some days I feel like Meditating Sundays. I feel like reading some days. I feel journal in her. Some days I feel like just moving moving in so really stopping and pausing announcing myself in my body. What does my body need right now. knowing. I have the space to do whatever that is in. That's served me well because I am otherwise I can become just a creature of habit and then it's it's not listening into my inner guidance. Benner Guide inside that inner compass agree with you and I think a keeps new anything I I have some some routine space open. I mix it up a lot too much power and then when it makes it fun his refreshing where you're not gonNA stuck in a Rut but surly serving you yes yeah and and for me. I think that's really taught me by approaching at that way to listen and more to my inner intuition versus just doing what I think I should do and I think that's a I can fall into the things that I should do the because I am you know if you look at my strength finders. I'm an achiever like to get stuff done right so I'm I'm really good at that that piece of slowing down listening to what what my body thinks I need is really a different way for me to think about it one hundred percent and in giving yourself grace to say it's okay okay up and not follow the quote on. Ho Rule that I read in a book to follow what your heart your intuition instead
Nia Jax Opened The Door For Intergender Wrestling In WWE At 2019 Royal Rumble
"Is weird. What did you think of our her coming in and being a part of this? And the men basically like like, we're not treating you any differently Arcadio super kick on this. I was a little surprised that they had them do moves on her. You know, the their finishing moves on her thought, maybe she would come in. She would. Throws couple of guys around is. She gets thrown out. And that would be it. Right. I'm surprised they as far as they did. Because of the time we live in and they've they've gone to the point where they're completely separating men and women. Well, I shouldn't say that they're they're allowing women to beat up on the men, but the men cannot like it's like hands off don't even know. Talk about the antiquated whatever like we're all raised not too. Yeah. Hit women, and that's a good policy. Like, we it doesn't mean that we view them as lesser human beings or anything like that. You're not supposed to we're all raised that way and stuff. So I thought initially her coming out was pretty cool. Again, another wrestler that I don't have an attachment to. So it lacked a little bit of the star power. But certainly it was cool to see that. But then when she starts getting manhandled by Randy Orton, and others just like is a weird kind of thing going on here. But I thought overall it was a cool idea. The the single fight that I was looking forward to turned out to be one of the lamest. I thought was Finn. Ballard and Brock listener. I thought that one I thought that was going to be this epic back and forth. And it was like no fin hit a couple of great moves. And then Brock was like, I'm done with you. And now is it. Mean the Becky Lynch fight with. Osco at the beginning took like forty five minutes. Yeah. Is it forever? And then Brock listener imbalance of like, three minutes. Part of the whole Oscar thing is they're building Oscar backup to what she was in the development of an is they kinda they kinda knocked her down and said, you're beatable you're now they're building your backup to be legit champion. So that they can have her on smackdown. Becky, Lynch and all them, we're gonna move over to raw. Oh, yeah. I see boiler, right? Yeah. I just I wanted to see seena. I wanted his injury to be fake. It was there. Yeah. You just couldn't see right? Well done. I can't I can't top that. So I'm just gonna go ahead. And and let it ride thanks to Brent Brigham and Sam farnsworth's for joining us. We got a lot more planned

"Even now because of always on smack down now even if knock amora is able to beat gender for the wwe championship these still not better than randy orton because every victory the general holdover radio certain has little asterix's succeses next to it all of them but when it's just a clean decision who wins randy orton so i mean logically if general if general hall lost the championship tanaka mora it's randy orton wants a shot at the championship now hopefully the thinking behind this is to have russe of beat randy ordinance summer slim and reindeer orange credibility is has been pushed up the is now it's not like he's just on a chain of losses this is a guy who beat the champion and now rusakov is made to look even stronger by beating the guy that beat the champion in a nontitle match but that is a mouthful and i think it will make reserve look stronger but at what cost at what cost i think the idea is that you want knock amora even if he doesn't win the championship to look as strong as he possibly could i think a knock amora championship brain is something that you weighed on you know i wouldn't be so against you know between now and russell mania maybe seeing aj style somehow get the title back from gender at some point maybe aj loses the us titled kevin owens may be around survivor series or royal rumble aj beach gender for the championship wwe championship and then we head towards russell mania with a knock amora aj styles wwe championship match where nagamori may have his first wwe championship rain in front of him.
