"A couple more questions here for Pete Few Tech who covers college football for college football news, pizza, sort of summarize everything we talked about. What's next? What do you think the next two weeks of college athletics look like in terms of Texas, Oklahoma and their pursuit for the SEC and any potential domino effect? I would be shocked if all of a sudden behind the scenes as we're talking right now, the Pac 12 while they're playing it coy and being quiet. Is it kind of secretly coming up with some whopper of a package deal? To try to figure something out. Um, I think they've probably be next to come up with something. I think the big 12 would probably think about coming up with something else that that say Okay, what do we do now? And then, of course, the big 10 is going to have to be a major player in this in some way, shape or form. So I would think that as we're talking right now, there are a whole lot of discussions going on about Okay. What happens if this really does happen? And it's the Texas and Oklahoma do this, because then they're going to have to really rally fast. And then the other thought would be. What if this falls through if you're one of those other conferences. Body approach. If you're the big 10, 2 pac 12 think, Okay, maybe at the last hour we come up with an idea for Texas, Oklahoma. Whatever the SPC is offering, you were going to come up with something better. Excuse me. Pete. Last question here. Give me one surprise team for the college football playoff. Uh, problem is I can't come up with one because the the main issue right now is you look at the schedule, you know. Finally, two losses for Ohio State. You find me a second loss. If Clemson happens to lose to Georgia, Finally, you know two losses for Oklahoma. It's really boring. Alabama, Georgia, Ohio State Clemson from there, those are those are the team that's the other. There's five teams, probably for four spots. It would have to take something really crazy, like, I don't think that I could see that scenario where this is the year where Cincinnati beat Notre Dame and beats Indiana and goes undefeated and there in the mix. Yet. What are you going to do? Take Cincinnati. You know, from the American Athletic Conference over Oklahoma. No, you know, are you take them over Clemson Dough, So I guess one would wait. What long winded Way to answer your question. If somehow Oregon beats Ohio State In week two of this whole thing, they're going to be on watch to be one of those teams to get the final four. I'm happy to know that college football is still college football. We talk about so much change the fact that you cover this for a living and like, well, it's the same five teams that it's always been tells me that college football will never change. Regardless of what conferences these teams are, Peter appreciate you having on today, man. Thank you. Any time you have a great weekend. Was Pete few tech who covers college football for college football News. We have one more segment remaining on today's show. The phone lines are open 855 to 1 to 4 to 27 conference realignment is happening. I'll give you my thoughts on it will take your thoughts. 855 to 1 to 4 to 27. But first, let's get to a CBS Sports radio update with my guy Mike McCain. CBS wants Sports flag. Carrington. Slow start.

"Now the big 12 is toast. The thing that makes the most sense for the big 12 as I see it. Is for the remaining eight teams in the big 12. To go to the Pac 12 and say, Let's make our own super conference at 20 schools. Let's merge. That I think makes the most sense. If they don't do that, then all of the end. The problem with that is The problem with that is what if some of those schools the eight that are left now? If any of them get offers from the big 10. They're gone. Because the big 10 it's crazy. The big tent still generates just as much revenue. I know they don't win like the SEC does. But that TV deal is just is plentiful. You make big breath. That's why you're never going to see an Ohio State or Michigan lead for the SEC or anything wild and wacky like that the big tents doing just fine. The big tents, probably kicking itself thinking son of a gun. Why didn't we jump in? And steal Texas and Oklahoma before the SEC did. Here's Dominic in North Carolina on CBS. Sports Radio. I dumb Yes. Afternoon. Love your show. Thank you. I have to say anything that dilutes the power of the N C. Double eight. Which has basically become a transfer system for Executives do nothing and lawyers is a good thing. So it's the only thing the does a good job with is putting on a college basketball tournament in March every year, and at some point they're going to figure out that they don't need the N C. Double A to do something like that. You're exactly right. And I think this is more about The end of the N C double a running things than anything else. So my question here is. What do you think happened with the other confidence? You think Notre Dame goes to the sea? No. You think, uh, No, Here's why, Because here's why, Because Notre Dame Still so prominent so popular such a big deal. They get a seat at the table with these leagues. So they take all the money for themselves. NBC gladly pays them the only reason why they needed the A. C C last year was because They needed games in a pandemic. They needed something. They needed teams to play. They didn't want to go out and make their own schedule like BYU had to deal. So that's why they joined temporarily. Because in that rare uh in that rare instance it was beneficial for Notre Dame. It doesn't make sense. They get treated. You look at this college football playoff expansion thing. The A. D at Notre Dame was front and center. He got dealt into the hand of poker if you will, just like the conference commissioners. Notre Dame is on equal footing. In fact, If you run Notre Dame, you probably have more clout than the A. C. C commissioner. So there's no incentive yet there's still not enough incentive for Notre Dame to join a conference. Here's Brian in San Diego on CBS Sports Radio. Hi, Brian. How you doing today? Hey, man. Hey. Sorry I'm driving or something. You're OK River Peirsol takers thoughts off the area. I think it's going to be good for college football because The casual fans not going to watch Oklahoma verse Kansas, but they will Oklahoma versus Alabama. But what People are taken into consideration and thought maybe a big deal in the big picture, but Be devastating for the student athletes in the non revenue sports. Why is that? I could I played baseball in college and the travel schedule. Now for someone that went to the Oklahoma thinking they're going to just stay in that region is not to go to the Southeast. Is going to be absolutely brutal Lot of Yeah. You know what gap Because I've thought about that, too. You know, Here's what I think might end up happening Eventually with that. Could see with non revenue generating sports. Even though you're in a conference You play a conference tournament at the end of the year. Think you're going to see In those sports those Olympic sports those non revenue generating sports you're in. You're in the big 10 or you're in the SEC. And eventually I think this is still years away. But eventually like you'll play the schools that are closer to you in the regular season. And then we'll have a conference tournament to decide. Who goes to the N C double A's or whatever, like Because I I I get that point. You know the travel When you're only playing one game a week. It's not as It's not as troublesome It's not as Uh huh. Overwhelming. Let's say You don't get beaten down by it as much. But you do in college hoops. You do, probably in college baseball to some extent to So that's one. I think way that the lesser sports will have to survive. And I think there'll be some mutual agreement on that front to help those sports. Help those teams and I don't think there'll be an edict from the conference commissioners. That's like you know you're going to play 75% of your games against conference teams, or they might even make it in a way where you play your oh, the overwhelming majority or the overwhelming percentage of your games in conference. Against the teams that are close to you. And it's we like bracketed off into divisions. All right. You want to tweet me some thoughts on Oklahoma and Texas leaving for the SEC. You can Is that the Pony Express on Twitter pony spelled P O N. I Work for a sports betting APP sports betting site Fanduel, So I'm always interested when the sports books do something. "Justin Fields Intelligence Test Results Explained" with Dr. Scott Goldman - Episode 053 - burst 01
"Let's talk about justin fields. What do you remember about giving him the test. This quarterback from ohio state. So there's a few things that stood out And i'm so glad that that They've they've granted permission. I think that's great because honestly his scores. I think there's something to very proud of You know the first thing that stands out as his scores are very consistent in parallel with a couple of league. mvp's and super bowl winners of recent late so he has a profile that matches some of that performance that we've seen member you're asking earlier about you know trends. And so she's consistent with some of the people who who are trending very high right now in the league And the other thing that was exceptional was that He had no identified weaknesses like all of his scores were either Average above average or superior that's really noticeable because most people have at least one or two weaknesses somewhere he He had no weaknesses in his profile. Which i thought was really impressive from a cognitive standpoint and then the thing that i think was most impressive was there's there's an area called efficiency. Which is your ability to download information and then recall it leaner. And that's the test that he feeling out meaning he got a perfect score on it.

"I don't think this room's college football whatsoever. I want to know what you think, at 855 to 1 to four CBS 855 to 1 to 4 to 27. Do you think Texas and Oklahoma leaving for the SEC is good or bad for college football? Major Phillip Pony, The Pony Express, CBS Sports Radio 855 to 1 to 4 to 271 of the things that I've noticed. This is a contradiction now from college football fans is that many of them say college football is the best regular season around what separates college football from college basketball or even the NFL. Is that every regular season game matters. You can lose one game your Ohio State and you get upset by Purdue. And it ruins your season. You have playoff games every Saturday in the fall, September, October November because you can't afford to stub your toe or have a bad game. And we that has been held up. As one of the biggest, most appealing traits of college football. Yes, it does not have 64 team tournament. It does not have Um Does not have, you know a huge trophy like the Stanley Cup at the end of things. But the sport has From week one matchups that determine who will win and who will lose the national championship. That's always been, I think. A characteristic of the sport that a lot of college football fans I've done this job for. Almost two decades now. So many college football fans always point to. That is why they love college football. So now it's only gonna get better with Oklahoma and Texas and the SEC. How great is that regular season schedule going to get Those matchups. Two more powerhouse. Easily If you rank the interest in Texas and Oklahoma, those are two top 10 schools. And now they're going to play Alabama L S U Florida, Georgia. It's a It's a shock to me that this didn't happen years ago. That's the biggest surprise here. When the big 12 lost. Colorado, Nebraska, Missouri. When those schools left. I'm shocked Texas and Oklahoma didn't look at themselves at that point and say, Let's get the hell out of here. Let's not be the last ones to turn off. Turn out the lights. So I would be lying to you. Some people like to be dishonest because they think the contrarian point Is going to generate ratings and buzz and interest, but I got to be completely truthful. That's just who I am. I think Texas and Oklahoma going to the SEC is good for college football. The big 12 is going to dissolve. All right. The Southwest Conference dissolved, the whack dissolved the Big East dissolved. College football ratings suffering because of it. 855 to 1 to four CBS 855 to 1 to 4 to 27..
Nagy benches Justin Field for Andy Dalton
"And another team and their actions. That aren't making a whole lot of sense now. Are the chicago bears and head coach matt nagy because this week matt nagy came out and obviously he's in a win or else win or lose your job type of situation in chicago but nagy came out and essentially committed to andy dalton as a starting quarterback this week which is just bonkers especially when in the nfl draft. You traded a future first round. Pick to go up and take justin fields out of ohio state number eleven overall justin field as your future. Even if matt nagy and gm ryan pace. Aren't there certainly hoping that justin fields shows enough. This year this season not just to save their jobs but to position the bears to go back to the again and maybe win a playoff game and show that there can be some promise with this quarterback in that franchise and i think the justin fields has that ability. I think that when you watch him he can make all the throws. He's won a lot of games at ohio state. He's not your typical state quarterback he committed to penn state transferred to d- committed to penn state rather went to georgia faced a lot of adversity in georgia overcame at ohio state. One big games has all the arm strength. has all the accuracy can throw on. The run is mobile. And you're gonna put him on the bench holding a clipboard behind. Andy dalton
Massage Therapist Targeted Ohio State Football Players in Sex Scheme

How are Black Holes Discovered?
"Black holes have been kind of a big deal ever since the first photo of a supermassive black hole was taken in two thousand nineteen black holes are exceptionally hard to find because they don't admit any light to pinpoint where they are. You look at how nearby stars interact with them and measure the x ray activity. The way that's yielded. The most black holes was to go. Look for x ray emission. The black hole stripping material off star as the black hole strips material off the star. It emits a bunch of rays. And those x-rays are very prominence. Scientists believe there are many more black holes in the universe. we haven't identified yet black holes that aren't interacting with a star and have very little x-ray activity trump theoretical models. We know that there are thousands of these non interacting black holes in the galaxy and scientists from all over the world very interested in finding these non interacting backhoes ohio state university professor todd thompson and presidential fellow tarin dude giant singer looked at the problem and set out to prove that black holes can be discovered in a different way. They set their sights on an unusual object in the constellation. Mono ceos the unicorn constellation there an unknown mass is causing a disruption in the shape of the light coming from surrounding older star called a red giant backhoes distort the shape off the red giant and the distortion creates changes in star over the face of the orbit of the back hall around the giant measure. How fast it's coming towards you and how fast it's going away and you can also measure. How star is distorted by the gravity of the nearby. College Football Playoff Subcommittee Presents Expansion Ideas
"A group within the college football playoff committee which includes ten football subdivision commissioners plus the notre dame de yes discussed expansion models to the playoff format ranging from six teams all the way up to sixteen teams. You know each with a variety of different possibilities and outcomes either way whether they decide to approve an expansion or not. It won't take place though twenty twenty-five but the fact is they are definitely discussing it for it. I got two words for their expansion of the college. Football playoff the right or they. What's why stop it already. You know what it's always a money grab we'll have sixteen teams because they can make money and they'll still be the same two or three teams that are in the championship. That's what we have now. We don't need to expand the did you see the blowouts in the championship. Game and in the semifinals. Did you see him. So we're going to expand it and give more teams to play in a playoff. The damn no chance of winning when you play alabama and clemson and those folks why why waste time the money and the energy are. The ohio state was supposed to be great team. They got blowed out for it as we say in the barber shop in detroit they got blowed out.
Final 2021 NFL Draft Quarterback Rankings: Trevor Lawrence and Then What?
"So guys let's start off with the quarterbacks as this is probably the least eventful group especially because we just let mark handle this position group. Because that is his forte his speciality. We don't even really need to go through the ordering or anything specific with this one as we're going to do it the other position groups but the thing that's worth noting is it. Mark was highly reluctant to really go past mack jones and then after thinking it over he threw in kellyn mind. Davis mills kyle. Trask jamie newman. And that was pretty much it so i think we can all agree here that the quarterback class in in this year's nfl draft isn't exactly very good on the back end. There's a lot of really good talent at the top but as we start to push towards the second and third round like we don't even have a third rounder in this group. There's not really a lot of good options now. It doesn't really tier that way. Joe obviously you have the tran said quote unquote time trevor. Lawrence. and then. There's a lot of debate on who that actual second quarterback would be adjusted sales from ohio. State zack wilson from byu. Mac from alabama. It seems like the jets. Presume that zack wilson from byu. And i mean. There's a lot of rumors that three the san francisco forty niners are really all in on mac jones but we'll find that out next thursday. It's gonna be interesting. I mean outside of the top five quarterbacks in legit all five of them could go for the giants would be ideal for the new york giants. That would be absolutely but outside of those five. It's it's kind of a crap shoot between callum on. I'll trask davis mills. Yeah i actually wasn't surprised to of see the look of pain almost on mark's face when he had to we almost twisted his arm into throwing out his like second and fourth round quarterbacks. This is a very top heavy quarterback draft class and part of that could just be the position. Where if you've got a quarterback who is able to be accommodated starter. He's probably going to be a first rounder and probably a high first

Raiders make surprise pick in latest Mel Kiper Jr. mock draft
"Mock draft three point. Oh is available on. Espn plus right. Now and here. We go no surprise at the top. Trevor lawrence has been there and we'll be there for the moment and started to the moment. That pig is made. He's going jacksonville. And that's not going to change at number. Two mel projects the jets to stay put and select quarterback zach wilson who would be the team's highest drafted quarterback since they took joe nemeth thousand nine hundred sixty five at number three. We have a trade that panthers would move up from number eight to select justin fields from ohio state carolina getting its quarterback of the future miami. Picking up more prime picks. And the falcons make it four for four to begin the draft selecting their quarterback of the future trae lanes. Should it go this way. It would be the first time ever that quarterbacks go with each of the first four picks in the draft. We take a look at the rest of mel's top ten. After the four consecutive quarterbacks we see some other names you will get to know. Kyle pitch superstar tight end. More pass catchers jamarcus devante smith jail waddell notably absent on this screen. Max jones the fifth quarterback in this first round the star from alabama who mel projects. Going number fifteen to the new england patriots and let's start there because mel we spoke about this the last time you broke this down for us. You had max jones going considerably higher namely number eight overall. Why do you see this drop. Greenwich carolina eight with matt rule had max jones at the senior bowl practices where he was exceptional right. So you figure carolina's stuck at eight. They would look at mack. Jones new england and fifteen is built. Bellichik nick sabin connection and obviously looking at a quarterback to get back to. Maybe the tom brady days. Okay get your that type of quarterback which is what mack jones is his style and the way he goes about his business as a pocket passer so once carolina in my mach three point. Zero was moving up to get justin field. Mack jones next opportunity to come off. The board for me would be new england at fifteen.
Biden administration prepares possible $3 trillion infrastructure plan
"Preparing for President Biden with a massive economic plan this week, The New York Times first reporting that the plan would be broken up into two parts. Ohio State's E.J. Liddell shares threats, vulgar insults received after Oral Roberts loss
"Ohio State, A two seed took a first round lost Orel Roberts of 15 seed. Roberts became the 9th 15, seeded to defeat a two seed in the round of 64. The one is the largest N C a a tournament upset since 16 seed you, NBC upset one seed Virginia and 2018 as a 20.5 point underdog. Of course, the outcome of the game was a big deal for both teams. Ohio State forward EJ Ladell led his team with 23 points and became on Lee, the second Ohio State player with at least 20 points, 10 rebounds and five assists. And an N C a a tournament game. He's also the first ever Big 10 player with those numbers since 2000 and 12. The guy's definitely one of us use most valuable players, but he missed a free throw in the final seconds of the contest. On Friday, Ladell tweeted screenshots of messages that were sent to him after the loss with people threatening his life and saying they wish he was dead. Here's Mel Kiper and Katie George. Don't with it. Everybody deals with it in the public eye and EJ Lovell is a young kid who shouldn't have to deal with it. But that's the reality of social media. Now that's the world these kids live in, and we all live in now. I didn't have to deal with that. When I was growing up, they do. That's just the world as I say you live in and the authorities have to deal with this the best they can, But it is something they should obviously investigating will, But it's just unfortunate that everybody that's in the public ideals with this and that's unfortunate, really unfortunate that kids have to but That's life in the world we live in right now. Unfortunately, it is, you know, social media has become so prevalent and so much a part of our lives into your point knows people in the media. We're often told by higher ups and bosses just Don't look at it. Don't listen to it. Just move on about your day, but to your point when people are saying mean things and threatening you like they did Ladell. It's really hard to just tuck it away and move on. A lot of times. You want to respond, but you also don't want to incite anything further. That's something that's reported Katie which he did report it. Yeah, exactly. And for this situation, I'm actually proud of Ladell for not just standing by for responding and screen shotting and calling these people out for the vile things that they said, and and hopefully they're reprimanded for for doing so because it has no place in sports.

"ohio state" Discussed on Comeback Szn
"Coal w fifty five says alabama will be down seven to start. The game will absolutely destroy ohio state by scoring nonstop. Forty two fourteen another alabama national title. I could see it being a game where we count or not we but just like people watching the game count either or team out and then they make a comeback like gets goes down fourteen year and like oh shit this is going to be a bloodbath in if not i can easily see that happening hard. So here's kevin malone says. Whoa whoa ovum make. You cannot say those things on the internet surf. You don't mean it. Murphy's balls are on the line as a bet. It's not like big cat was gonna cut his pinky off. "I if i'm alabama can you suck fuck shit the fuck up. Let me talk. If i know. Trae sermons good. I know trae sermon will get yards. I can outscore trae sermon. If i'm alabama if justin fields in those receivers. Chris alavi the defensive backs of alabama. I think aren't as good as we believe that they are there. The group i worry about just feels as having one to play drives. That's nightmare scenario for me. If it's taken trae sermon and if it's taken awhile state nine ten place. Run down the field. I can live with that. Because i can outscore. Trace arm and sermon can have two hundred yards touchdowns. I still went by fourteen to twenty one points. That's my point of view here. I please point something out what you can't read. What's above his head right now. Don't do that something near my house. Sir no i'm not. I'm the same way i'm funny. Don't tell me that's right. i i tell you. shut the fuck up all the time brandon. I'm not mad at brandon. I i will say when we get to defensive side of the ball. Alabama has often. Our defense has struggled a little bit against explosion which justin fields alive acre will have shown the do and then also they have struggled with stopping iran. And i think that ohio state trae sermon has really emerged there. So i mean the the game plan. Is there for ohio state to win. And i don't. I don't think justin feels needs to play. The greatest game of quarterbacks ever played to win. I am worried about alabama's defense. I i do think they gave it forty eight minutes. They get forty six to florida. I think they they could be a problem for alabama. I just embedding the more consistent. Offense goes joseph. Fields wasn't to clemson as greatest sermon has been the last two games. He's been great. He's been incredible. I'll say offense hasn't really been this consistent all year. They didn't look good against north western. I just wonder i. I know i can trust out of every group on this field. Every williams realty trust. Devante smith nausea harrison. Mack jones to put up the points i do. I agree with that. I said that all year. With alabama's offense i do. I have a question for you though. Like let's say jacksonville's one hundred percent. I mean we don't know exactly if he's going to be hundred percent. Let's say he isn't. He has six touchdowns the way that he did. He did against clemson like in that scenario. Like you think that alabama could put up a that would be a shootout to right like you. Don't think it's going to be like. There's no scenario that ohio state can blow alabama outright. If there's a blowout it's definitely alabama doing the blowing out. I just know how many do is out. There are going to hold this alabama offense to blow out level proportions yesterday. I do think there's a scenario where we see. Clemson bama repeat repeat no clemson obama where where clemson blew out alabama and twenty eighteen. Oh yeah okay four sixteen okay and yes she of but my head says well. I'm not making fun of it. I mean talking about as for my usual. Let me ask as for me and my house. We will serve the lord joshua twenty four fifteen casey affleck person get fired up. I'm sorry i wish i but i'm a flawed we. We live that in my house. I don't want. I don't want you to apologize. I understand that. I get fired up to and i read my on a daily basis. I just thought it was very funny as i was reading it. When you're screaming at jack that's all not making fun of it. We're all flawed. The only person wasn't fond was jesus read every day. Okay thaddeus what's flawed. No he wasn't no he'll listen. Kurt stop talk about. i'm. I'm not pitching the jesus perfect. That's that's on the offseason podcast right. Okay all right. What else do we have to talk about it. Let's go through. let's go through. I'll go first final score. Alabama fifty two ohio state twenty six. That's my final score. Double alabama alabama forty five ohio state. Thirty eight were jack. I'm looking westward. Katie obama forty five inch. Ohio state thirties high twenty s. Give a number jack. Katie to give a number because forty five forty two state that i felt trying to pick ohio state all week. I was like you know what. I couldn't get out of my mouth. I realized i think alabama is to win this game. Yeah i yeah. I don't think like i'm not. I know we had our little you yelling match. But i don't think picking alabama is a dumb thing to do. I just think there's a little bit closer than i think. There's a serious game plan serious game script that ohio they can put together and really make everybody be like. Oh wow l. Are this ohio. State team is one of the greats because alabama's team this year. This offense is right up there with al shoot team from last year and you know ryan day is staff absolutely pulled. The pants down of clemson. Daboh of Brent venables davos spent the week leading up to that ranking lifestyle. Lebanon telling everybody who listen this that and the other. I don't think ryan day can spring that trap. Nick saban and steve sarkisian and the coaches and alabama plus saving in a big game. He hasn't won one in three years. That sounds like it's not.

"I didn't hear a single thing that just happened. I been talking and talking and no one was answering me on. No because you're your internet just crapped out so we were just going without you. I was it was like below phone calls. You don't realize it's drop for really long know casey. I i don't want to talk over you but jackass me very intrigued. What are we saying. That's not true. I wanted you stop that talking about the clumsily offensive line. Didn't stop i. So does the last thing we heard was you saying i think there's an element of of clemson's offensive line. Not being as good as bama's pickup from well in that game say because trevor lawrence still had four hundred yards so it wasn't like trevor lawrence was a problem in that game against ohio. State clemson defensive. Line did not play. Well i think alabama's offensive line. Even though they are hurt are going to play better. I think that's a huge element. I mean ohio state front seven could do anything they wanted in that game. I don't think they're gonna be able to do that against alabama now. I don't think it's going to be a blowout. Granted does but. I do think that when you look at that clinton offense it trevor. Lawrence had one hell of a night. He just didn't get protected like he should have. And then you also have ohio state. Let your trae sermon. Had like four thousand yards again. I don't think they can do that against alabama. I think the we will. We have not known but the thing that how to slow down alabama. This specifically is to fresher mack jones. Now he's still perform pretty well under pressure however he isn't as he can run a little bit but he's not as athletic is to us. Not as athletic is jalen hurts. Was i also think we are. We are not talking enough about the fact that alabama casey mentioned quickly. There is down an offensive lineman landon dickerson was very good and they already had kind of an issue with the right guard. I think his name's round something I'll get it right here. I just had it up dickerson is not playing. He's not unlike. So that's but for alabama deontay brown has not been playing great at left guard now. That was only one issue with alabama's offensive line but now it's too because they because land dickerson is out. I think alabama alabama is going to have an issue controlling the line of scrimmage against ohio state. And that's how the win the game. And i don't know if they're going to win the game but nine points to me is way too much. I think that ohio state what we saw them do against clemson against better off. It's of line especially without dickerson. Is what it will be able to do to alabama and then also on the other side of the field just fields. As much as i'm a mac. John supported justin feels is the best player in tomorrow's game. All right Demonises player mars game. And let me let me say this land in dickerson was also out against notre dame. It didn't affect alabama and dame statistically front. Seven has been better this year in ohio state ohio state front seven had not been as good as it was against clinton why she can you read the fact. I don't think they're they've been better. I mean i'm gonna check right now. You can continue the games. The notre dame front seven was the best part of their defense their defense statistically was the best people who front seven is the best seven in college polish here by far. They didn't show that until the clemson game. I think they are own house. I do not believe the front seven and speaking does appear that way. I'm looking at. And i said this going into the clemson game because i was one of those people that they had no shot. I was like they've never seen an offense like this. This year is going to run all over him. I don't know if i would say they're the best. I mean statistically maybe they are the best front seven but what they proved against by far the best offense that they had played in twenty twenty. Was that there was much better than i thought they were going into it and that was because they only played five games going into it pretty much all well and good jack i think the landon dickerson point is overstated. Leonard dickson didn't play his notre dame. They were fine. Okay so i wanna start from there. Get it slowing down. Clinton's offense is different than slowing down. Alabama's offense clemson doesn't have a my rogers fine player not monty smith clemson's offense and not as good as alabama's offense line even without deduction you still have alex leather. Would you still have all americans there you still have. You've to below average player starting tomorrow on offensive line for alabam. The low average absolutely not below average. Now you're just making things up. Oh and chris owens and brown have not played well this year for alabama's line you can't say that alabama's offensive line is below average at any level on not say that they're on entire offense slanted said they have two players. Starting that are below average. All right i'll grant you a point if allows eight overwhelms alabama's offense wine ltd. Clemson they can win the game. I don't think they're going to do that. Go that's my basis. I think matt jones is going to have a cleaner pocket and trevor lawrence jones. Going to be throwing a better receivers. I think dodgy harris isn't a running back disappears in big games. Travis edna has done his entire career. Alabama is better at every single skill position outside of quarterback van clemson and they're almost as good at quarterback so they are very good alabama's gonna score. Nobody stopped him. Scoring is justin fields healthy. Probably just don't although they can keep up with them. That's what i'm going with arm for you. Here's my question for you brandon. And i'm not doing too like needle you but i actually. It is a an honest question so all season you've been talking about you. Don't believe in alabama's defense as much you think that they're vulnerable. How do you think they slowdown trae sermon. I am nervous about that. Not not sermon. It is served. And i do think if you know that that's not. Let me say what. i'm not saying. It's not sermon. I'm worried about. You shouldn't get hit if.

"Patriots stuff. We're going to be in this offseason. Dan wok s lots of cover. I'm just grateful that we finally get a couple scrappy. Underdogs in this game. Time clawing their way to the national. Stay doing the gritty. Hard underappreciated work as a bunch of guys overlooked from day. One really like yeoman's work in the college football. Yeah yeah absolutely actually. You know what i'm going to reverse course and say it's one of those things that i kinda hate when people say when when people use like the you know the gritty jim rats the guys putting in the extra like. How do you think these guys here. How do do you think like a ninth. Grader becomes a five star. Just by showing up. We'll get some flow store. No and i'd always bugs me during aa tournament time in it. Bugs may now. Obviously though these are two teams who have built up rosters that are unlike basically one hundred and twenty seven of one hundred and thirty teams in college football but all the same. I'm excited on the merits of this football game. The merits of this football game are are exciting. And i think the calculus of determining who is going to win this game is a lot different now that it was week ago before we saw the ohio state clemson game. So we're going to get into all that and much much more just again to keep you posted on what our schedule looks like now over the next week and beyond we are going to be doing. Obviously this preview show today. We've got a ufo show on friday and then the next show that's gonna come out will coincide with our schedule shift into the off season mode that we typically have here. You can hear our reaction to this very champion game on tuesday. I think we're planning to do a tuesday morning. Dan is at right. That's still the plan. Tuesday thursday before enduring on video and then we will react early tuesday morning early tuesday and then the next show after that will be thursday will go tuesday thursday all throughout the off season less again you sign up wallers dot com and you get access to bonus content but that's at least the marching orders as of now correct. Why don't we do this thing. Dan let let's do it. Let's preview a large football.

"The jeff sagger in power ratings for each team and they found that recruiting rankings. Explain about thirty six percent of the variation sagging ratings. Just kind of by themselves. So i don't know you tell me. Does that sound high or low. Because that seems a little bit low actually. I was a little surprised to see that number. I would have expected it to be higher and of course. This is like longitudinal. It's across every team and there could be effects where you know it's much higher for the top teams because it does seem like it is constantly the top teams who are at the top of the recruiting list. But i think that. That's also interesting when it comes to somebody like steve sarkissian leaving alabama as coordinator going to texas because there was a stat that looked at who had the most. Espn top three hundred recruits over. The past i think like four or five years or something like that And where the those teams ranked in winning percentage and so you had like alabama had the most. They had seventy six and they were first in. Winning percentage not surprising georgia was second seventh and winning percentage ohio state third second in winning percentage lsu fourth. They were tenth in winning percentage. And then you had clemson who was six and there were third and winning percentage but the big outlier. There is texas at number five. There are only thirty third and winning despite having the fifth best recruiting class. So it's not perfect but it does lineup reasonably well for those top teams when we're looking at how it translates to winning on the field and could say texas. Maybe that's the reason why they fired tom. Herman and they're bringing in steve. Sarkissian is hoping to convert recruiting into onfield success. But it does seem like all of these. Other powerhouse programs have done a really good job of creating these pipelines that self sustained. And you win more. And then you recruit better and then you win with those recruits and it's very difficult for teams outside of that group to kind of break through the top of that list. I mean it's totally real. Look into how. These teams are unbelievably deep ego. Back to that. What was a twenty seventeen national championship. Where nick sabin has the luxury to decide the future. Nfl quarterback jalen hurts is in Isn't getting it done so he can bring in true freshman future. Nfl quarterback to a tagliavini ville a pronounce. The name right there. it's just a luxury they have. I mean they lose jalen widely considered the best wide receiver in the country in the first week and now they have a wide receiver probably or may win the heisman trophy it. The depth is unreal an end the same thing unfolds at some of these other programs like the like florida are like georgia and like ohio state and oklahoma they they just have incredibly div and clemson certainly also incredibly deep rosters with so much talent where there be teams are superior to the majority or the vast majority of the eight teams of the of contrary. Well how about the last ohio state. Champion where j. t. barrett goes down with an injury and cartel jones who i'm not sure has been heard from sense Steps in plays great..

Who knows this is not a usc. Thing i didn't. I didn't say anything about usc. I'm talking about five games. I'm talking about what i saw with. My is in the teams their opponents and who they played. That's it so and i don't know that they could beat usc by thirty. What's his name. Mr seah whatever what history mitch. For many great hotel in new york. Macy's yes really good downtown all right. Let's go tim go to. It also helps. The committee obviously shown or made the president that outta sight outta mind right so cincinnati. I can't remember the last time they played essentially but they dropped into rankings. And i we state is ahead of them in the rankings. Because they haven't played for a while your team nineteen the cyclone so there you go. I mean so obviously looked not only getting the big ten championship game but getting another game communicant see. We heard them say when they saw house they'd beat michigan state. Well what we saw michigan state even though michigan state. It's not good. They looked really good that it was a dominant win. That's what they wanna see. Indeed i was state looking for their first conference championships in nineteen twelve. They'll take on oklahoma immune to take you down with i was. It's just ridiculous though. It's ridiculous games. Tim in nebraska on. Espn radio ohio state in out of the playoff. Do they deserve to be in or out. What do you got. even though i'm in nebraska fan they deserve to be in okay. Reexamine is because they are one of the top four best teams in the country. The pre this is not an ohio problem. This is not a big ten problem and this is not even a kevin warren problem. This is the playoff committees problem. They knew from the get go once they started football. Not all of these teams. We're going to have play the equal amount of games. The playoff committee completely screwed up here. They should have allowed eighteen in and then key. Usc would probably get an also if they go undefeated. This is on the playoff committee and their fault until they change their black and white and words that they have that they do not stay. It is top fourteen they state. It is the most deserving team. That's where we want it. Run into a problem to falls on the on the committee. Yeah yeah. I'm with him. I never even thought about expanding. Never even thought about expanding it given the fact like jays been harping on for so long now. Twenty twenty is not the same. You gotta do things differently. They probably should have increased the amount of teams to go into it as a sorta kinda like major league. Baseball did on a look. See on the d. h. And some of the things that they did kind of like the nba. Play with it to see what it looks like for the future. Use this year as an experimental year to do some things that tim is right. There i'm okay. Tampa pleasantly surprised that our caller this is help me. I think look the big. Ten conference dropped the ball. They have kevin. Warren dropped the ball to a degree. I get it. But tim has also right here with college football playoff committee because i think it is a chance that could have put some intrigue into it and i'm so they could have made a lot more money. If you expanded to eight is too late zubin far now now lady also keeping why. Well there's a couple of things number one. The committee would have to agree to do it. That would be tough four years to figure it out because at that point there's actually j. always talks optics. There's an argument to be made here that the last thing we want to do is play more games as the coronavirus. Getting worse right. You don't want to put mortgage playing games though playing but we don't wanna play more major league. Baseball expanded the playoffs but the only to sixty game regular season we weren't going one sixty two plus an expanded playoffs. I think at this particular point in college football wants to minimize the number of games. I think i can speak for the company. Espn would love to see the playoff expand right. They would love that fans. Love it but i think there is a certain barrier there now put. Let's go yeah. I don't wanna i don't wanna be. I don't wanna be like debbie downer here but there is that aspect there for sure on the way take it or shake it one of the questions. How about this after. This putrid start are the cowboys no longer. America's team take it or shake it. Yes or no on that big question. "I didn't get turned into New England clam chowder today regionally. Touto tall. Aw, that's so fun to say. What were we talking about? Again, gyco fifteen minutes could save you fifteen percents or more. We're back on college football live and in the week of urban Meyer's three games suspension, the Ohio State buckeyes back out of practice, continuing on these players focused on the season head. And obviously, this situation has been much bigger than football, but football does carry on Ryan Dave course be interim head coach for the buckeyes. Now we go live out to Columbus with Sean who's there on the ground, and we just saw the team practicing footage of that. What are they doing to go about their preparation for the season without urban Meyer is the head coach. Yellower source told me that it's just gonna be status quo from this point four going into that first game acting head coach, Ryan day will continue to be the figurehead, but he's going to work with the offense and most of the quarterbacks during practice. And then you'll see defensive coordinator, Gregg Xiang who's the only coach who doesn't have a specific position group that he works with kind of be in that Romer around practice. We saw in the limited time that we actually got to see the buckeyes practicing him, going to different position drills, walking through stretching and talking to guys like urban Meyer does it practice. And a source also told me that come the first game. The important thing is having Greg Xiang. Oh, on the sideline. He brings that urban Meyer energy and demeanor. It's something that players feed off of. So while urban Meyer is not coaching games, the source said that getting Greg, oh, down on the sideline. Just there to help players would be big for this team. All right. Thanks so much with that perspective. They're interesting about Greg on os certainly and not only Greg Xiang. Oh, a former head coach, but also the Kevin Wilson on staff who has experience as a head coach. Let's bring back in the guys Trevor and Jonathan here to continue to discuss. We'll start with you, Trevor. How do you think that urban Meyer's absence of this team? You'll strangely think at the end, it will make them a better team because there's generally two ways locker room. We'll go with this kind of turmoil. What is it will fragment and everybody keeps their head down every man for himself. The other is they will band together even more strongly as brothers. I think there's so much veteran leadership in that locker room that that's the path they will take the. I agree with you. Trevor, I think they are going to bend together. I know they will perform well. The first games aren't too difficult. What I see happening also is urban Meyer and the rest of the coaching staff. They get a game plan together of how they're going to transition of away from urban Meyer too. Now who's calling the plays and delegating some of his assignments do those first three weeks fortunate, the first two weeks aren't too hard for Ohio State. That third week will be a challenge, but they'll already gone through their dry runs so to speak of how they're going to delegate those responsibilities as coaches. Sometimes I think sometimes people underestimate how college kids can handle things and maybe their ability to handle things, but still, this will be in the news. This will be talked about constantly if players are made available to media, we'll be asked about so Trevor, how do you think this affects them from the standpoint of hanging over the team that hang over the team? Does it bother them? Does it bug them as they're trying to carry on with the football season when it starts a great question Laura and it goes beyond just the media because social media forces its way into their into their rooms on their phones. They can't escape it if they want to unless they just dropped their phones and never look at anything. I think it would be a mistake for the Ohio State coaching staff to tell the players to ignore it because they can't ignore it. They won't ignore it. It's impossible to ignore it, teach them how to manage it, how to consume it and then how to ignore it after they've looked at it. Because if you just tell them to ignore it, then you won't have any control about what they do and you need to help them steer their their media consumption now because they will consume it..

"I agree with you, Jonathan. But when it comes to the decision of whether or not to fire him, there's more in that report and things that might be fireable offenses or addressed in the report, and you can take exception to how well that report was done. But if you get the summary of findings, if you look at section six paragraph aim, they say that they found that they believe that had urban Meyer truly known that there was abuse in physical abuse in that relationship between Zac Smith, his former wife, Courtney that he would have fired Zac Smith or any other coach on the spot. That's a finding of fact in their summary. If you go to the next paragraph b. They talk about potentially fireable offense, which is not reporting it up stairs. Well, what they said was that he did fail it his obligation to report these allegations of stairs. But they said in the summary, their words, it was based on a good faith. Misunderstanding of the trigger for when that should be reported upstairs. They said that rubber Meyer believed that had to be action from law enforcement in the form of an arrest or charge before he needed to report it. And because that didn't happen, hang on because that didn't happen that urban Meyer truly believed that the trigger hadn't been met and he chose to handle in a different way. Then they said in the next paragraph that a lot of other witnesses, at least a number of other witnesses had the same misunderstanding of that trigger. So urban Meyer wasn't fueled who misunderstood it. So you can say correctly that it was his responsibility to know that. But his lawyer would say in court, if he got fired that a whole lot of people didn't know that. In Ohio State failed in their training program. And so when it comes to firing him, you get into technicalities like that that make things very, very problematic. I'm not saying that what he did on the management side was right. It was wrong for the most part, but from a firing stamp when I think it's fair to look at other things in that report that are in his favor, not just the ones that are against him. I understand exactly what you're saying. Trevor we can sit here and talk about the technicalities all day long. But the fact is there is a moral responsibility that the head coach slash CEO of Ohio State University football has to abide by and we can talk about everyone else misunderstanding. But the fact is we're talking about urban Meyer and whether he misunderstood or he misinterpreted what he was supposed to do. Those findings also said that he and the AD they took that that what you just said to narrowly and to sit here and say, well, we're just going to wait for law enforcement. We're gonna wait for law enforcement. You know what? Sometimes you have to act as. AO as a head coach, you have to act and your failure to act causes a lot of harm to other people, and it is your responsibility to handle those situations. If you don't handle those situations and you don't act accordingly, then you should be relieved of your job. That is the responsibly, the coast. That's what comes with the territory. If you were the assistant coach, and I want to have the nyah billion say, well, I'm over here on a technicality in the letter of the law. Sure you do that. You have your comfy job as a head coach. You're not allowed to do that. You have to act and he did not act. And Furthermore, they were more instances that show that he didn't act or chose to find a way to get out of acting and say, oh, I don't know. I don't know, deniability. I don't know. I don't know that that's not. It doesn't cut it for a head coach. You can't do that and the report talks about that. But it also says in a very clear finding, again, this is the summary of findings. This is section seven. It's very rushed summary of findings. Okay. But the summary of findings is not my opinion. This is what the report says. It says urban Meyer did not condone or cover up alleged allegations or allegations of alleged domestic violence by Zach Smith countr- ever. How do you hang on if you can't read his messages?.

"Welcome into college football, live Laura Rutledge here. Trevor madij in Jonathan Vilma will be with us shortly weighing in on the bombshell news, the drop late last night in the college football, all about Ohio State and urban Meyer. There's the spending the head coach for the teams. I three games after a two week investigation that found Meyer and others mishandled domestic assault. Accusations made against former assistant coach, Jack Smith lead investigator Mary Jo White shared the key findings of the investigation last night. Coach Meyer AD gene Smith, although acting in good faith did not report the investigation of Zac Smith for domestic violence in twenty fifteen to compliance as we believe they should have. We ultimately did not conclude that coach Meyer deliberately lied during his comments at big ten media days on July twenty fourth, twenty eighteen. He has consistently maintained that he did not recall July twenty eighteen what he knew in twenty fifteen. Regarding the domestic violence investigation of Zac Smith by law enforcement coach Meyer impressed us with his sincere commitment to the respect for women core value that he espouses and tries to instill and his players the independent investigation. Also a dentist side and reported on a number of instances of misconduct and other problematic conduct by sax myth while he was employed at OSU as assistant coach, some of which was known to coach Meyer and AD Smith, and some of which was not. So some key points determined by the working group were despite having knowledge of domestic violence investigation against Zac Smith, three years ago, neither heat nor State Athletic director. Gene Smith notified compliance Meyer did not deliberately lie at big ten media days last month and Meyer did, however, exhibit respect for women core value that Smith was guilty of problematic conduct. They found throughout his employment at the university urban Meyer responded last night on his suspension. Buckeye nation a followed my heart, not my head. I fell short and pursuing full information because at each juncture I gave Smith, the benefit of the doubt. As I reflect my loyal to to his grandfather Earl, Bruce, who was my mentor, like a father to me. Likely impacted how a treated Zach over the years? I did not know everything about sex myth, which was what sex myth was doing. And I'm pleased that the report made this very clear, However, I should have demand more from him and recognized red flags. Well, alternately I'm responsible, everyone's behavior football department, and there was some behavior going on. That. Maybe I was unaware of, but I should have been aware of it. So I, I support our president's decision and. Respect it. What message do you have for Courtney Smith. Well, I message for everyone involved in this. I'm sorry that we're in the situation and. Just are. We're in the situation. So now we bring in ESPN college football reporter, Heather, Dench, and Heather, as you hear what urban Meyer just said and also heard his entire comments last night, what's your reaction. I'm sorry that we are in this situation. That was his response. He went through that whole press conference in porn, fashion, mind you without mentioning the name of Courtney Smith one time. And by doing that to me, he showed that he has no idea what situation he's really in. He apologized to Buckeye nation and he did not even once acknowledge the bigger picture problem that they are in right now. And to me, that means he blew it. He blew an opportunity to show that Ohio State takes this more seriously than just what happens on the football field. Heather was the three games suspension appropriate in your mind and if it wasn't, what would have been an appropriate punishment? Do you think. No, it wasn't because if you go through that entire twenty three page report, there are things in there that should have raised more than red flags that urban Meyer could have acted on much much sooner. So to me, at least at the very minimum, he should have been suspended for some big, ten football games. But you know what? Loara at the end of the day, it doesn't really matter because those suspensions aren't going to be what defines Ohio State this year or defines urban Meyer. It's going to be that report..

"Thank you. Welcome to another highly questionable. Dan. Once again, got really emotional. Watching the bachelorette finale. So he called for the day off. This is that cries for Dan for totally different reasons and that Sarah Spain over there. Sarah. What do you like on the show? I guns are about to take on Jean Carlos Stanton. Yeah, let's do that. How big of a busy urban Meyer rally for state. So about two hundred people showed up outside the horseshoe for the same urban Meyer rally in the light of his controversy with domestic violence and firing of Zac Smith, the assistant coach. Now normally you'd say it's problematic because it's a blind spot for the domestic violence that's actually happening here and we're working around the actual details just to save the head coach and keep your football program at high quality here, but I'm actually not that disappointed in this. The numbers weren't very big. There was again only two hundred people there. The sort of direction of their anger was misplaced. Here. They were angered at ESPN and saying it was fake news. Even though the author of the story Brit mcmurphy didn't doesn't work for SPN anymore. There were sort of shifting the blame to the athletic director. Gene Smith also as if urban Meyer couldn't actually be responsible for doing anything more than what he did once he sort of passed along the information. So the hiring, I don't think it's that problematic. When you've seen other rallies. For other head coaches and other situations like our Briley them handing out t shirts to save him. I don't think this is as big of a problem even though it was something that we kind of expected. Well, one thing that I noted was Zeki Elliott's father, of course, Ezekiel suspended for his own domestic violence allegations was leading the charge here for this group, and while it is heartening for to only be numbering in the hundreds that's in part because students aren't back on campus yet football season hasn't begun. There are limited number of people that are on campus right now who were gathering together for this that doesn't speak to the thousands of people who have signed an online digital petition and support urban Meyer what this means. What we already know which is there will be a large group of people that despite their morality telling them that they're choosing the wrong side in this situation because of their loyalty to institution are going to go out on defend urban Meyer. Even if this happened to someone they knew or some other program that they didn't like they would be frontlines saying that that person should be gone. This is nothing new. This is in specific to Ohio State, and that doesn't give those people. Pass each of those people needs to go home and wonder why this is a priority for them to defend this man instead of waiting for all the information and were doing a rally for victims of domestic violence. So each one of those people needs to answer to this, but Ohio State isn't any more guilty than Baylor or Michigan state or Penn State, or people who defend the military or churches. We all do this about teams and institutions that we want to defend. Even when reality tells us wrong. What do you make of set in? Suppose about postpartum depression after suffering, one for worse losses ever not just post pregnancy, but ever. Serena Williams took to Twitter to share that. She's not only suffering from the regular pains of trying to make a comeback from from pregnancy, but that she's also suffering from some form of post-partum depression. And then it can last up just three years. She gets home from her matches. Enter trainings, so happy to see her young daughter, but also sort of pained by the fact that she's been gone. And this is something that any parent male or female can relate to after a newborn baby, but the fact that she's making herself vulnerable and sharing it with everyone else not only makes everybody else feel validated and their feelings of a similar nature, but also reminds us of her greatness even more when she's a superhero and always think about is how easy it is for her to bust through competition and win more majors. We sort of forget that she's a real human being and in the moments post pregnancy where we've seen her let her guard down. It's made me respect her..

"Rejoining us for the final hour. Today's Paul finebaum show. I'm Brad Edwards joined by Matt Schick, and we have for the second day in a row, spent the entire show talking about what's going on with urban Meyer at Ohio State as the buckeyes head coach is on paid administrative leave as the university looks into what did he know? And when did he know it regarding his former assistant coach, Zac Smith and allegations of domestic abuse against his then wife Courtney, obviously, because of title nine. There are implications here which would threaten the job status of urban Meyer at Ohio State. That's why he's on leave. And that's why they are looking into this. Now, last week after Zach Smith had been relieved of his duties as an Ohio State assistant coach by urban Meyer. Tweet was sent out by anti apple, who is the mother of ally. Apple, Ohio, State cornerback just a couple of years ago. She tweeted this at Ohio State. Our sons were held to high conduct rules and zero tolerance when it came to violence against women and rightfully so I'm personally disappointed that coach Zac Smith was not held to those same standards, love my buckeyes, but this is bigger than football. Well said, let's go to Linda in Argo, Linda. Hello. Mr. Brad Edwards, it's been awhile has been a while. How are you? I'm good. How are you doing? I'm doing all right. Well, good. And and an Hello to Matt Schick. I hope you're doing well to Matt. I am. Thank you very much for ask you. Thank you so much, Brad for taking my call today, and I'm gonna try to hold it together. Okay, I'm I'm, I'm very close, very close to domestic. Valent. Okay. And believe me when I say this and I'm not bragging is just an absolute fact and truth. I could write a book on domestic violence. That being said. And I don't wanna talk about by my my, my dad father, but he may just peace with God and with my mother before he died. But I feel like I just had to say this, Brad, I need to tell my story if I may. Okay. My dad wasn't alcoholic. He was about, I don't colic. And when I was growing up, he committed domestic violence. Oh, my mother. And I've seen it as a child, and I say that as an adult. Okay. And. Oh, my mother divorced him. And then well, they got back together and after a severe domestic violence that was committed, but my father, oh my brother, and they, they reconciled and they got they remarried, but things later on in their marriage concerning the family, not just necessarily the domestic violence and then my mother, her being Catholic. You know, she got a an annulment and but today. I'm close to it to try to not committed against me, but I've close to it and that's all I could say, Brad, you could grow your own conclusions. But this thing I think I don't have a dog in the. I'm not an Ohio State fan Alabama saying, but I have nothing against urban Meyer, but I believe he knows just though in my heart that he knows and I can't imagine Shelly. Not telling him I just I just can't imagine her knowing what Courtney Smith was going through and all the women that were involved texting and and you know the pitchers were sent, and I wish I could talk to Trevor..

"But to me, there's another layer to it, which might not be as significant in terms of whether he keeps his job and in terms of perception, the the idea that violence against women has been a soapbox issue for him. This is something that he has talked about a lot not just in Ohio State, but even before that Florida is far as his zero tolerance for this is what he always says. It is on their wall. One of their five core values of the Ohio State program treat women with respect and then you you see this story, are you hear all this come out? And while there hasn't been anything absolutely has said that urban new this and didn't do anything. About it all the evidence, pointing that direction. And it gives you just a really uneasy feeling because of everything that he has said on the subject previously. It absolutely does. And I also wanted to say this as well. You know, unfortunately, this is a situation where this allows the general I general fan, Joe six pack Josephine six pack allows them to say, all college coaches are the same and you know what? They're not. They're just not. There are some like that. Absolutely or something like that. And I think when we get to the point where we start saying, all college coaches are the same, then I think you're starting to rationalize what happens or what happens with our both at Florida and Ohio State, and I just don't think you can do that. I think then you give him now you give him an excuse in all college coaches are not like this. Are there some, of course there are, but they're also our, our college coaches that do it the right way that actually care about the kids that actually care about the about players after the game that want them to be successful after the game. I know urban fountains all that stuff. And I know we talked about it all the time but time. And again, we are reminded that you know what, maybe. It's not like that. Matt Hayes joining us. I wonder, I know you've spoken on this, but if you can elaborate the other thing going on with Ohio State has to do with Representative Jim Jordan, a former assistant wrestling coach who has been accused about knowing about other misconduct that combined with this, how does that impact what Ohio State shooter or what they will do you know what man? I, I will say that I think it's completely unfair to combine those two to complete them in any way. But the reality is in the court of public opinion in this social media world that we live in where it's literally minute by minute every day. I mean, this stuff matters that absolutely matters. I mean that you're absolutely if you're you're an attorney at Ohio State. If you're the president of how state if you're on the board of trustees, it'll have state you absolutely look at the situation. Isn't it? Fair notes? Absolutely. Not fair, but certainly it's gonna play a role. Man, hey, give me a quick met. One of the quotes that you got from in two thousand twelve and this was this was the most jarring quote was I think, was former Florida's safety Bryant Thomas. And he says this about midway through story says as far as coaching, there's no one else like Myers, a great coach. He gets players to do things. You never thought you could do, but he's a bad person. He will win at Ohio State, but if he doesn't change, they're going to have the same problems. End of quote I've I haven't. I hadn't read that and I hadn't heard of someone referred urban Meyer as a bad person. Is that is that just a former player, one former player, or do you think that is a a common opinion among people who have associated with urban or who have played for urban. I, I met at the nominees quote, right what you read that now and it's it's a little too little nursing. I, I can tell you this..
