And herbstreet is not necessarily guaranteeing that. For example, the SEC will follow suit. With the big ten on this remains to be seen what the other four, the power five conferences do. He also asked questions such as what do you do with the players in the fall? What do you do with these football players in the fall and what are the requirements to play in the spring I? Are we being CENSORED?

"Censorship the Suppression or prohibition of any parts of books, films, News, etc that are considered obscene politically unacceptable or threat security censorship. Of the press censorship of Photography, Censorship of the big stories of our time, it's not something I thought possibly in the so-called civilized Western society. We don't have that problem. Do we now? Of course not this is a country where we reveling being transparent. Some have argued that there's too much transparency and not enough privacy but privacy and censorship a two very different conversations. It's about time we talked about this with a guest in more detail is this is a subject that has been mooted a good few. Times in only a few months on this program in more than a handful of interviews, it's difficult not to politicize this discussion. But if we're going to start having more debate on it I'm certainly not going to be the editor who get squeamish about that Facet against busy censoring what a guest has to say on the subject Edmund Tara. Kobean is a well respected award-winning furhter journalist with decades of experience covering big stories in the UK and internationally, not just conversation starters but inform real discussion and decision. In fact, today and tomorrow episodes about just that pictures tell stories that need to be told with Pulitzer. Prize when Carl mcnaughton being tomorrow's commentator on the subject. Let's begin though with Edmund Tear copious and we're talking today about the necessity for change. But actually you have a very early story about change Hamen, you made a decision right from the start about direction you changed from medicine to making pictures and and I'm curious as to how that came about some Y. Yeah. It's but it's not quite as grand as that I never actually made to medicine I was. At the point of wanting to study medicine, the direction was going to be surgery I was fascinated by surgery. So that's that's what my goal was. That's where I was sort of headache. So I was already doing the relevant levels at high school chemistry body and so on. On Getting Ready to apply to do medicine I mean who knows if I would have been accepted or not but it's it was a kind of red at the beginning of my a-levels bullets a camera an ESA Larios it was the bottom of the range nick on a Nikon. And of course, prior to that I had an interest in photography. So this sort of interest was brewing brewing and getting bigger and bigger, and of course, as I was going through my early teenage years, sort of a expansion of mind and understanding of the world and history and news and paying more attention to what was going on. and also being able to start to digest visual imagery. That's when my sort of love of talk graffiti massively blossom. And that started right at the beginning of my of and that sort of continued and continued and continued to I reached a point where I thought. This is what I want to do. This is what I have to do. You know I want to be a photo journalist because I was so. Impressed by all the work that scene. But by this sort of work by these amazing photographers, mainly Magnum photos, photographers that was the sort of my main I chunk of education self. Education I. Basically go to the library comeback with a pile of books every every couple of weeks Some money out by a magazine or to to sort of read and yeah. That was my first sort of first education was magnum fighters, inverted journalism, and all of a sudden I realized this is the direction I want to go. You know it's amazing landscape photography, amazing portraiture fashion and saw. But as soon as I started getting into, it was one book that really kicked it off a book called in our time. by Magnum photos, photographers, and it's kind of became almost like a Bible. I just couldn't put that book down. and that sort of made me change direction. To my parents, this may one day I sort of came downstairs into the living room from my bedroom to. Delving into whatever books I was reading and I said, I've made a decision. I want to be a photographer by my parents just looked at each other sort of shook the heads and this son who went from wanting to be a surgeon all of a sudden wants to be. Photographer So yeah, that's that that was the change

Um we're still not where we want to be when it comes to testing capacity that's adequate for the county. Right now. In Seattle alone, they're testing roughly 2800 people. "Did you see the news of Nick Khan and I don't know how many people in our audience know that name Nick Con Heading from CAA to the wwe all of a sudden a weird. Now I left ca a while ago because it was totally soulless like it was just this shiny thing. I. Twitter Hackers Arrested

"We have learned more about who's behind who is believed to be behind the twitter hack. And you know not some four. Powerful state-sponsored cybercrime gang, just A. we believe a seventeen year. Old Kid His name is all over the tech press. I heard you not wanting to say it on on, Mac. Breglio. So but I do have it in the show notes. To find it I mean. Yeah. You know I come from the School of journalism where you don't say the names of miners were accused of crimes, but apparently nobody else does that. So the AD the local Florida news channel. WFL talks Tim right away. They outed him as Graham Clark from Tampa Bay Florida. We. So they also. Suitably creepy, picture. Of Him. I know in fact in fact before. I reduced in size I. Actually had in the show notes. He looks a little bit like spock at so. got kind of a pointed ear. Is Little bit creepy. And, it's interesting too that his nick is Kirk. So Oh, maybe. Two Years Yeah. So Anyway the the the sad thing is this guy's life is now seriously sparked up. Yeah. He's been charged with felonies relating to computer communications and organized fraud for scamming hundreds of people using compromised account according to a press release from Hillsborough State Attorney. Andrew Warren's office. This guy Grab Clark. Now. Faces Thirty Felony Charges? So we have one count of organized fraud involving more than fifty thousand dollars, seventeen counts of communications, fraud of over three hundred dollars. One count of fraudulent use personal information. For an amount over one, hundred, thousand dollars or thirty or more victims. Ten counts of fraudulent use personal information and one count access to computer or electronic devices without authority and scheming to defraud. So in total thirty counts of felony charges, all of those felonies. So I mean I do feel like unfortunately, there's there's sort of a bit of. overreaction I, I, mean I get it that. This was not good and certainly that the law enforcement wants to send a message like don't do this even if you can Initially, the the initial announcement didn't indicate whether Clark had any partners in crime, but a few hours after the press conference announcement, the world learned that the US. DOJ had also filed charges against two other suspects believed to have helped Clark in this hack. The first of those was identified as Mason Shepherd who who's known as chair Juan nineteen years old living in Bognar Regis in the UK and the other is identified as Nima Fazackerley. Also known as Rolex twenty, two year, old residing in Orlando Florida. The US Attorney Anderson said there is a false belief within the criminal hacker community that attacks like the twitter hack can be perpetrated anonymously and without consequence today's charging announcement demonstrates thus I think an example has been meeting is being made. That, the elation of nefarious hacking into a secure environment for fun or profit will be short lived. Criminal conduct over the Internet may feel stealthy to the people who perpetrated, but there's nothing stealthy about it. In particular. He said, I want to say to would be offenders break the law Ed. We will find you please. So exactly the kind of thing hackers go. knows. That's GonNa, really scare me, I remember when I was a teenager. And in Fact Leo, did this did I? You know I was always a good kid. But oh, to be seventeen and have done Brazi network in front of me. Yeah. Yeah. Twitter early, fairly clever. Because, well, go ahead because it the way did it was kind of kind of interesting. Yeah. So for their part twitter disclosed a bit more about the nature of the attacks. They said that the that the phone based social engineering attack allowed the attackers to obtain the credentials of a limited set of employees, which then made it possible to gain access to twitter's internal. Internal Network and support tools although not all of those employees were who are initially targeted had permissions to use account management tools. The attackers you know apparently, just actually just Graham was able to use their credentials to then access twitter's internal systems and gain information about twitter's processes that expanded knowledge then enabled the attackers to target additional employees who did have access to twitter's privileged account support tools. Reuters also had reported something that I had not seen elsewhere, which was that as of Earlier. This year. More than a thousand twitter employees and contractors had access to twitter's in tools and could change user account settings in hand control over to others a thousand. And this was a key. To former twitter employees. Well as we know such widespread access makes it difficult if not impossible to defend against the sort of hacking that occurred.

Yeah. What exactly is this like? That's Latin. Right. That's on the page. Well, it's it's the usual filler text that you have on a dummy website. The our Laura them. And they essentially created a dummy page for an upcoming smartphone but they tweaked the wording just a little bit because there are words that seemed to imply smartphone type. Things like just the in the title there's The low light. Low Light Teneh Cap Kerem megapixel lum long lasting. Is that Vaccari, up yeah. So like in in the link description, you sent me here in Telegram I. If you read that out, that's in the page description. So like they they played a little bit around with it just to. Make It look like they've done a little bit extra effort than just slapping some some fake words in there as dummy place holders but because I. Think, of Pixel for a is coming sometime soon who knows we've been saying that from what? Since quarantine four months since? I I actually wrote an article about two three weeks before. Google before it was cancelled. Saying Google might actually launch it before I o based off of some of the leaks that we were we were seeing and that one turned out to be wrong the Oh, the Hubris of the publication. Gosh. All my gosh. That's why as the one of the reasons why I'm happy where I, I am in my little pocket of Youtube because. I. I don't have to do the rumors and whatnot I know that that's a common portion of Tech U2 is to be like Oh what are we going to look forward to I'm like what the thing is nothing is confirmed. Why would I talk about? What's an unconfirmed? Deals with that on the daily does all members and all that. So I mean I may covers it really well with the pocket now daily and honestly I'm like. Didn't you just cover this yesterday? You've done it like four days in a row. But Hey, there was leaks and news stories for days in a row about features and specifications that are coming up on a new device and on. After awhile you know writing for publication and writing tech media for years now I am so tired about writing leaks and. Rumors and speculation articles because. It's just a repeat of the same story last week with one extra

The Rigor Of Transmedia Production

"Hey. It's topcoats clips five, three four. Block on a busy July twenty, nine, twenty, twenty they about the rigor up producing contents. For creative media, students, Detroit animators, Enga- mark designers. Work Inside the Creative Campus Nick Glendale Ireland and I want to see if it's possible to set up lanes of academic depth. As well as to produce content on the fly with career students follow a rigor. Of expression. So. I start my rigor with words a word document that they can see that students can see in the form of a brief or mission objector. I use an Amazon model of not having more than two pages of my brace with hyper links. That goto examples of how the content might be done but start with tax, and actually that's how I started the blog post to with tex what you're hearing right now. Can Be, done text. Using transcription programs such as archer. Were audio. Bursts. The auditor Osher by product is always better than ninety percent for me when a use an external mic. I'm using the Mike Right. Now of the Samsung note nine and I'm not sure it'll be high enough quality to produces a transcript from the first go but you know this. It starts with words. In text form. Normally I have my students take those words and try to imagine how they might be presented as short clips of text information. Headlines titles. Key words, phrases, things that can be pushed out on twitter. Or on facebook or on Lincoln. And I tried to do that with all my semi compelling content. That could try to do that with every blog posts that I make on inside viewed I e. The. Point is this. Very few things you do. We'll get noticed if you don't offer them in places where people are already used. To read. Or to here to see. So, in today's world of socially connected people. Twitter facebook instagram linked in. Youtube. Those are all places that are common watering holes for for folks who are in my thought space. And most importantly. Most students have at least two those watering holes as places a look to see the spray Spiratou from folks that want to work with for jobs, they may want to get as creative interns or paid employees in the near future. So my goal is To get some form of process. which believe reaches the rigor of production. To put all this content in different media formats in different places. That's the rigor. And what I know is if I have students write some things down or sketch some notes out that they're gonNA end up with some really high quality learning on the back of it all. Is The kinesthetic to mention that seems to evolve. In other parts of my speaker content or on my blog, I've talked about offering people for different lanes of access to educational material starting with the techs. Access. Making sure. There are images or video clips. Allowing some of that stuff to occur live in HD format while also ensuring that there's an asynchronous method to rewind and play it back as slow or as fast as they want to. It's all part of the rigor of doing it right. You WanNa, follow my educational adventure using the Hashtag. Dig. PED- digital pedagogy. The PD you can check it out. I. Handle Top gold. That's me on all good social networks.

"Iq technology showing it shows your personalized insights. All it does. It has partners nor technology. I think they should call it. Partner snore solutions. Because it sounds like it's encouraging snoring but actually it's solving when your partner's snoring well ever since we got our sleep number bed. Your snoring has gotten better. Thank you Aga- be apparently. It's it's that partner. Snore solution technology that we were just talking about. Well listen I just want to say that I really love you just the way you are except there are a few things I would change. Okay I mean that stands to reason. The good news is one of them was the story. Oh great said that sort of in check off the box. Thanks to sleepnumber all right. I think that's all the time we have today. One was the bad wedding but that has gone away as well. It has. Yeah oh I'm not saying that. Sleepnumber can cure bat wedding. I'm just saying mysteriously since we got her sleep number bed. Years has abated and slow to a halt. We're all totally right to your face. I'm glad to hear that you're glad the housekeepers glad to because she had a change the sheets. What would you change about me? Darling? Don't worry I won't get mad. I mean I I would. It would require a few steps. I I would. Have you insist that we move to a log cabin in in a forest and then I would not mind if you competed against me to see who could split the most firewood to heat or log cabin. Okay but then. I thought I was gaining get mad but I feel I feel the anger rising. I mean that might not perfect. Nick would fall more into the category of a fantasy. Everybody has flaws. I wish I wish split more firewood but other than that bless America. I'm pretty happy there. I'm pretty happy with our coupling. Well I guess I can live with that. I will try to split more firework though. Just so you know doing my part I will keep silently Not being in the bed You know what seriously people out there in listener land people have ears even if.

"Nick this is not exactly on this topic but Nicholas started watching what we watched seven episodes last night of chasing Cameron. Have you seen that? Oh always that the the youtube get. Oh Sara it's into. You GotTa Watch this on Netflix. It's been out for a while. It's so good quick. How little I didn't know that. That aimed existed. Yes in fact. It's the only thing that exists for many people now like that is what they're interested in and I now know that it's it's it's like a figure from our youth like a Madonna or Michael Jackson except the one missing ingredient is content like they. They do everything they were people screaming like the they make money. They have this art incredibly ardent following. They don't have a talent that they exhibit. And they don't. They don't make any arch royal but its performance. Give me some their life is there are right the skippy of the SKIP. The detritus of making a record or a film. Just go straight to the adoration of celebrity. You pay will show up. That's the exchange. It's like my old saying that my life is my art like my wife is a Fart. Okay loved the love to. I still have the PHILLY got a lot of people. Have Tattoos factor. Get the Tadpole get it. Just can't wear I think face. Yeah I think you're facing your forehead and then the last two on the top of your feet. I think that wouldn't be a painful thing. I'd chicken feet for the first time the other night. I never had chicken feet before. Like you know like these restaurant like chicken a chicken chicken fees and it was so weird because you eat the meat and then you've got like little chicken baugh little. I'm doing a finger for for all the podcasts out. There listening. I'm I'm wiggling my finger to give you the simulation of an ad second. It does kind of look like that's sort of what it's like. And then so imagine eating these and then having like each bone in your is it very Nibley because it's a minimal amount of meat again for the the the the folks at home Nick is eating at like Tom. Hanks eight of a baby. The baby corn in big A classic moment Touchdown a touchstone moment for Touchstone Television. Who had no involvement with movie big and they loved it they loved it and they and they saw Tom. Hanks in the movie they said is starting to get him to do TV. I believe that they believe they named their company. Touchstone based on the baby corn tastes like those my main question the chicken feet. Yeah honestly like a like a basketball shoe I think is this chicken had been you know real baller before before. He got fried up fried up in the kitchen and served to me because I fucking bastard him in Chinatown. I was in Chinatown in New York. No Ma I think it's called. It's like an old Chinese old. Chinese restaurant allow Takata a great restaurants as at a restaurant. Yeah but here's the fun thing about me. I don't like going to bed. Restaurants But ideally we established in a podcast that we previous podcasts. That we shot that. Nick Hates War Really Fan. Really sort of my. That's interesting take. That's my soapbox platform. Speaking of just quickly people again at home don't realize that they have been in the shape of a John Lennon Yoko for the entire episode. They've been curled up. Megan is long and Ag- yeah and they have been slowly tattooing on my forehead that There is no war on my forehead. And so I've known just from the physical physically. What you've been doing to me that I know you don't like well I didn't. I haven't really thought about nick doesn't like it. He had just announced. Where'd you know where you're at doubt? I haven't really thought about it. So you know yeah About war yeah I mean where do you stand? Well I love peace. Oh okay feel as an automatic. We mean that you hate war though yes I feel like we are two sides could come together. Yeah I don't know I would like to think so but I'm Because I do love peace. I love when there is no war But I please herpes peas like a summer. P of England in English. Me From this you know but as a as a board member of Halliburton I love war. Sure I've made hundreds of millions of dollars it is lucrative man. There's no industrial complex If you love getting paid a lot of money for people dying in remote regions Wars is you're saying well then I guess I put myself in that. I've just never thought because I'm busy. You know I don't WanNa my supposed to think about everything. Yeah I think it's because I have such a vested interest in its propagation success but if I were you was like it's my business and I love it. You know what I mean because I love what I do and it's like if you don't love what you do and for me that's inciting conflict physical you know. Heavy heavy casualty conflict around the world. If that weren't how I made my money how. I put food on my table that I might feel differently. Great place for you go off. Let's one of your famous tirades rate. Interestingly I almost never have tirades when it comes to planning and executing I love what I do. I love what I do. It's your happy place. Yeah no it's like if I go to the dry cleaner and they don't have like a mint or a little a little lollipop for me law. I've fucked freakout I go I can. I can have this place bombed with a drone on of APPs on my phone you have on. Your phone. Doesn't turn their alarm in their house when they're out of town little. Vip It's through rig naturally through ring and nests. Okay option. There's a Halberg Ring Nest Combo where they give me. When people leave for vacation they give me that Info And and at that point I can send a drone and just do a targeted explosion and blow. Someone says it's a little prank done that I did it to John. Laney I did it to Navarro's Hilarious If you have if you haven't had any on the cat on the pod yet She'll she'll remember now offering that She hasn't a home now so I think it will probably stick with her and it is a Dennis. "My most vivid memory of any time that you and I have spent together was we were on a plane together. I don't remember I guess the DC. Okay I was on tour with the band. This was a few years ago. And you're drinking white wine and I was like a cell drink wine and I drank white wine with you for the whole time. Got Off the plane and threw up for an hour in the airport. Yes I had I roofing you and I feel like I did not with you. At the time was dirt it was yes it was what I call the dream. Dart which is a roof. I mean it's essentially roofing all and and I wanted to apologize to you and I'm a great time really a great time talking and it was wonderful but then I threw up into one of those plastic bags that you get if you go to like the Hudson News. It has like pictures of magazines. Printed on magazine covers so yeah. It was big a practical choice. Yeah it was like a it was a it was like a Julia Roberts like on the side one of the magazines Vanity Fair and then like a Kate Hudson week where people yeah And then a and then a you know a a frog with top hat for the New Yorker a couple from. Hgtv may or may not be splitting. I'm just recently watching some. Hgtv stuff. And I genuinely think that you guys should go do that show you guys should go make an HDTV's really both have the skill set do then. I can design. Yeah I never thought about. Hey let's do it not shut this off. Can I do? Can I do for warm up for a multi cam? Yeah I'm I mean that's a great idea. I didn't think about that. I wanted to warm up at the when you're taping at a house right like I warm up the the crew and the people who you're going to be helping with their houses. Let's let's do that but but have four cameras. Yeah do the whole thing again. You guys should do an age. Gt nobody hunches up those shows. I mean they could be so much. Funnier and with a live audience maybe we would call it bringing up the house Yeah so I was on your show big mouth. I did one episode of that and I heard that just got an. It's been picked up for three more seasons. Yes yes we are. Show thank you we Regulation thank you. We are It's great it's a very It's very nice to have something that That I have like I make it with my friend. I make with a lot of people but I created with my friend Andrew. Goldberg who I've known since I was in first grade. We've been friends since first grade. And and it's about us in middle school. And we make it with mark and Jen Mark Levin Jen Flack who Andrew. Was there assistant his first job when he came to Grad School? And then it's this lovely thing that you know I make with all these people from my whole life you know and specifically the idea that I make it with Andrew that I we sort of form each other's sense of humor and sensibilities in that like you know seventy five years later that we'd be making a show together is very special. That must be really gratifying. It's not as much like the Brady Bunch as I would have thought a little different. It's a little different. I mean I see a lot of influences. Yeah we have a lot of well there is. I'm trying to think there was some great brady. There was the episode where Peter Rates Voices Changing Right So we sort of have a little bit of that but then like this Fuck Monster Near. Who's WHO's also screaming in his ear that he should fuck stepsister We do have an episode this year. Where Andrew they go on a trip to Florida to like his grandfather's house for Passover and he sees his cousin and he re and he's wanting wants to make out with his cousin. The thing really want to ask you about the most. I'm not sure fake should or can but I'm going to is Do you have a girlfriend right now. I do have a girl for Yes she's really lovely ex-girlfriends yes and they're here right now out everybody Yeah I think it has three. Yeah I do have I have a girlfriend and you do not so my ex girlfriend grace chance. Of course Cindy Brady Cindy Brady Tom. Down BRAND SOURCE AND MR T. So Ms as when I'm with her body cured. Yeah that's what I called. Her faulk is so deeply at all. yeah we It's good I don't think I've said that publicly really a scoop do you guys I know I don't have a girlfriend right now. No No. I'm I'm off the dating scene since the year. Two thousand you trying to become the next bachelor so he doesn't Wanna be perceived as dating anyone having nowhere married. It's different to be married than to have a girlfriend I think. So yes and yes. And you want a date in Roberts from the Upright Citizens Brigade yes and I. I will agree to be the bachelor. Only if my choices are and woodworking partners and they and their doesn't have to be on a romance or physical effects. Do you find that in that space. You you have. You have chemistry with people in the woodworking space. Oh Hell Yeah. Do you have like a dating APP? For woodworkers Not I'm sure there is one I on one the hammer for there's the hammer. The mortis inten of course GRINDR. Which is yeah grandma right? Now that gives a grinder. You know they don't credit as a woodworking timber. I am be are taking timbo different for guys named Tim Timbers. Kimbrough's now I I'm trying to. I've never done woodworking. Have you ever been on a dating site? You have. What one that one? That's kind of for people in the bill. Yo- speak its name any other ones. No no that was a lot of people's Yeah I actually met my girlfriend in on that. I'm one of those same people I know have done that. It's completed kitchen as Mary took that she met on really. Yeah it's it really. It opened up. It opens up just who you can meet. The stigma is so gone from what it and there wasn't. Even I remember early early two thousands when I was in New York dating of couple friends Ron and do what you do but like I. It wasn't it wasn't everybody doing it now. It's completely changed and it's you know it allows you to open up your circles if you at 'em like I don't know what it's like for kids but as an adult on it. I'm like it was it. It served its purpose for me. So you're now able to date outside the. Yeah I mean I I've will. I'm now super into those sort of clowning world. I have made my way through the you know the the French I am. Yes I was a pig circus clown school together. Yes Bill Irwin would just hurl insults at me. He was flirting that Sir. That's nice that you say that it started. The time did not feel that way. It was because I I made the mistake when I met him of saying that. Um My blue heaven was the movie was that it was rick. Moranis is in Steve Martin's movie and he got he got very upset but and I was like I love you in that movie I do. Actually I really do. Love Him in that movie. He's GonNa get dancey touchy down. It's terrifying only flies off the handle. Any any packs himself into a small box. Yeah feels passive aggressive about. Yeah Yeah and I've really taken to sort of French clowning. I find that humor the funniest French French clubs. When you go to I go to Cirque du Soleil for the inbetween skits. You know where there's like a perverted old Frenchman. And he sort of says slightly racist things to people. I find that so funny really right up my alley chef's kiss. Yes exactly so bags dating APPs. Nick do you think like if your life were completely different everything? One hundred percent different I'm trying to this neck. I know there's confusing because there's too but do you think you would ever have called me neck. Oh Okay Nikko. Nikko Calming Little Little Mickey. Do think that you would have ever gone dating APP like if dating around when you're single well having never Like I landed. I'm sorry I'm GonNa be earnest for a second having landed in the love of my life twenty years ago before our lives were taken over by smartphones It's hard to fathom because All of dating that I did per se which was very little was because I'm so buried in the world of live theater and that and whatnot and learn and EUCHRE club And so a I. That was my social circle and it was large enough And rich enough that I was always able pursue relationships within theater so I mean in my life before you and I met. I think officially went on maybe three dates in my life. Because I never you know if I was looking for a relationship I would consider the three hundred people I knew and the community and say Oh Leeann just broke up with somebody. Hey do you WanNa Leeann rhymes yeah? We didn't work out. Ps So if I had always I still feel like. There's something cold about those dating apps where you know. I just think well I WANNA meet people but as as a gateway so that you can meet people as Nick has pointed out expands the circle of possibility of like. Oh here's someone who lives a mile away that I never would have run into right through this and then like in the dating apps that in like the theater because I think most of the most of us you do meet the people in your world but the older you get. If you're still dating the fewer people in that circle you know will put up with your tirades right and so you have to get outside of that circle. People don't know tirades in your bio. Oh is that listed as money or attributes Yeah like I love food. I love to travel. I love to fly off the fucking handle at the most inconsistent things you can't you can't predict what's GonNa Make GonNa make me lose my fucking Shit But what's crazy? Is that ironically. Like this woman was from different completely different world than than mine and we never would've met otherwise but then we started dating She hired assassin. She is a voluntary assessable. Oh no no no. It's it's a fair very fair question and a and a good distinction make. She kills for sports. I just had a feeling is an assassin crazy Makes Sense you know. No so. She she It was in New Jersey New York and But when we she came to my place in La. She's was like this looks familiar and realized that she her one of her best friends lived down the block for me in La and had en- she had basically been staying with her friend whenever she came to La for like six years. So like this weird thing of literally within a mile away and never would have met man so then you know and I think also depending on how you behave inside of those kind of in the APPS that like you know you can sort of get to know people in a in a sort of interesting way of you know communicating back and forth before you need whereas in a bar or or amongst unless you met someone through who is a friend or in your group of friends and it sort of gives you a chance to get to know people. That's good bypass the sort of theater of the first dates that are awkward. And like so. What what do you do? Yeah I had a Jew we order some APPS. Yeah get to the point where you feel like you could ask them out. Even you can bypass that. Yeah exactly and you can sort of sniff out through some conversations whether you think you might actually be someone that you might be fit to go out and spend time on a date because also like the older. You get the busier you are. You just have less time to sort of like be like sure. I'll check that out and and also I think you know I am a you know. I'm an open person but also a have my like tirades. Let's be honest. His.

"Right so three favorite memories from the first year of our relationship chip courtship relationship. Oh okay the first is uh-huh that did not encounter that in the first year on Fortune The first is the first day I met you I. I was one of the craziest days of my life. Because you'd been set up as as this exciting person. Ah Koy not seen I had not seen will and grace and so. I wasn't familiar with you but you came in and you looked amazing in your and I had even just seen very few people in real life. Who dressed sharply as you do and you just looked great and you had crazy fashion shoes on that had like six inch platforms were read a wooden platforms? Yeah Oh yeah. There were would winning lawyer when heels and fun and so there was this aura around. You know I had worked with great people Dylan Chicago and with like people from film and TV at Steppenwolf Theatre in Chicago so I had been around and like experience. SORT DWARF DIFFERENT forms of mastery and like movie stars and Whatnot but to this day perhaps could think of like David. Hyde appears comes to mind. I get there are very few people. If any who exhibited the craft that you shat out in the very first I read through like I was immediately besotted with you as an actor. You as I said to you when you eventually were called to consider to audition for Young Frankenstein on Broadway that Mel Brooks was producing. I said you are like a Mel Brooks movie overview like you are you. Are you seem to have your like an encyclopedia of Vaudevillian faces. Takes timings and that is always always apparent whether you're doing because you're a consummate artist you you don't show up at the first read through of a play without having prepared like you're ready ready to present the play you know you're not like I'm doing some play with a bunch of jerks like you know you don't blow anything off and so from the moment I met you. I just before I even knew that I was going to fall in love with you. I was like Holy Shit. I have a new hero. What is nicer than it held up? I mean you still just never met anybody. That's the thing the the this is the tip for the listener. I always thought if you're talented. Look when I was a kid I really loved Eddie Murphy and his comedy and I've you've equated that kind of talent I was like man if you're as good as Eddie Murphy. You just show up you price smoke a joint and then you like. Hey guys. Here's some bullshit I was thinking about. And and they laugh their asses off and give you a million dollars and you go buy another corvette but that's a fallacy. That's stupid you. The the people who succeed the the most have that talent but also treat it responsibly and work as hard as they can to package and present their talent in as effective as possible. And you still do that and I have learned a always I love having you around around setting that example for me So that's one memory number two. I guess would be my introduction to you your style and lifestyle which would mean like walking into your apartment for the first time time that eventually would become our apartment again was everything you do should be in a museum or magazine and so that apartment had such an incredibly charming sort of Chinese vintage store slash Chinese feel I guess and Wasser Aus what they call. It was about to say And I was going to spell it to go ahead and spell it. C. H. I. N. O.. I S. E. R.. Shin was I was very nice. We Love we love words here and we often get into conversations conversations about how I pronounce them wrong But again you know to walk into someone's is living space that is so charming and cozy and Attractive just again I. I uh I had been to cool apartments and I'd seen houses you know that I was like. Oh that's cool but this was just such a cut above But so far above that. I still didn't get it that you were attainable or like available to me that I could remotely be in your league. I was like look at how my hero lives. That's crazy no wonder. She knows her lines the way she does. And then I guess the third memory that springs to mind mind is not the fourth of July at the Hollywood bowl and we went to see Glen Campbell and It was just a beautiful. You know the most diligent night under the stars listening to Glen Campbell and then the Hollywood symphony the La Symphony played some John Phillips Sousa and there were fireworks and you asked me to beat her boyfriend in your ear. Yeah and you bought me that American. An Eagle Blanket because I was cold and crying and whimpering yeah and you wrapped in that American Eagle blanket and restored my manhood and now here we lie in our bed love. Wow you believe crazy Jonah. podcast thanks for those nice compliments. Really sweet sweet. Thanks for giving me 'cause So that was the beginning of our love. Two thousand almost twenty years where we're past the nineteen year mark or into the twentieth beginning of the twentieth. We'll be twenty years and I think April so we Matt Holy Shit. You look really good. Thanks thanks You know you. You'd think a couple that have enjoyed each other for twenty years. They would say things like well. Were holding up okay and we are but you don't give me cause to say that for some reason you look better than you did when I met you. That's that's really nice. Thank you as a human so that helps. That's a good beauty tip so then I was like I said that right. After we met was I started the third season of will and grace. A lot of things happened. But I met I. I got nominated for an emmy for the first time and Nick went with me to the EMMYS and I one which was crazy so that was kind of a thing. My mom was there Do an amazing navy blue dress with what I've learned is called plunging neckline line plunging. Justin fit me at all was falling off. My right Boob is out all night from talking. Talk them all right and then so a lot was going on. And I'm saying that by way of saying that Nick went from living in somebody's basement with dirt floor to going with his new girlfriend. The emmys and you know things like that so it was like a little bit of a different lifestyle mhm venture to say it was it was like if it was a bugs bunny cartoon you like threw me in the door of J. crew and and Barney's and I winded through and Barney's or in the same category. Those are the two places he took me. I guess for casual and And more formal wear and I- world winded through and came out the other end like dressed in a Tuxedo With smoke coming out my ears because of the price of socks. Yeah that's a whole new world and Then I did will and grace until two thousand six and you worked as an actor so the good thing the good thing about let me ask this question four. How did you avoid hoping would get to the good thing about him? From the time that say we met until you got parks in Iraq you worked sporadically as an actor but not consistently. How did you avoid avoid falling into the trap that all other actors fall into except for you of being annoying and complaining about not getting on its actors are unbearable? You're not one of those types of people you don't fall into the unbearable categories. So how did you avoid Loyd that well when I first got to give you a clue. Okay I was going there when I first when I first got to L. A. and sort of quickly was thrown into the business and I was lucky enough to have like an agent and in a manager manager so I was getting auditions in meetings and I quickly learned to my dismay. How should he? The town is and the businesses and now superficial everything. Everything is because in Chicago Theater. I would get work. Just on the merits of my people would see you WanNa play and say oh we should cast him as the jackass in our play and so forth and work would get work then in Hollywood. You'd go into these meetings in the late nineties. Imagine where the Internet had not taken over and people would say like like they look at your list of theater credits and say The what is this. This is a Chinese menu was who's Shakespeare and and they would say. Do you have anything on tape like you know. And you're like not have some bullshit or like a commercial or music video now and so I basically was immediately rendered a sort of immediately emasculated where people were like. Is your worthless until you get some work and in order to get work you have to get an agent hard to get arrested and I said this is horrible and all my friends were doing what you said. Everybody was just like getting together and commiserating like. Did you get an audition. Did you get a callback. This is so hard. Let's get drunk and I said okay. I can see this is going nowhere. So I'm GonNa shoe this whole scene. I'm not gonNA chase this fame and like Hollywood. I'm going to make money as a carpenter Instead of like the chase everything that I see in the trades and so focused on building things I've started building decks and porch. I like cabins and people's yards and stuff and that quickly led me to become obsessed with woodworking in Pasadena Asa Dina. There are these houses by the Green Green Brothers That are incredible examples of of craftsmen working both furniture and timber framed houses and just suddenly My years of scenery building tool use and house framing all sort of coalesced into into An epiphany where I said oh I am obsessed with wood and making it into stuff so I started in my woodshop and that Make building furniture. There was just an incredible subsidiary. Part of my life so that I could go to an audition that more often than not would end in rejection and like would would could easily lead to depression but instead of wallowing and that I would then go to my shop and just be okay with life. But that's just one ingredient. The thing is you were the biggest ingredient because I had a happy life and I was being supportive of you. I was taking care of like you know whatever I needed to at home while you were kind of thing. And like between that and occasional collecting work and woodworking. I thought I had that. My life had peaked. More than I ever dreamed. It would like like to be the main guest star on like an hour drama or to have a nice part sundance movie. Those were really exciting citing to me at the time and they paid well And so I I was over the moon you know I didn't. I guess I never had had any any crazy ambitions like I got a win an Oscar or got to you now have to play an astronaut..

"May have seen her once at something somewhere over the years but but she's part of like she she was in the class ahead of me. Okay so yeah too old for you you. You don't like older women. Williams trying to say dear listener is that I'm eleven and a half years older than nick. Get Clarence Jokes All right so I know I saw one place that you lived in after we had started. actually dating for real because you had rented a little house with your brother. Albert outlived mounts Nick's younger brother. Matt lived out here for a little while year or two couple years and you guys had rented a House that you slept in total of one night. I happened to now for a fact and because you are pulling that same gag on me that you pulled with your landlady where you're like. Oh It's pretty nice here I guess Uh Don't mind if a do so your landlady I have at least that in common and I saw that place I remember it because the floor was slanted not a good good. I'd said what a eight or nine now more twelve degree I was gonna say that was my first. I think I was GONNA say fourteen degrees. Yeah it would have been degree. Slant rain would've safely cascaded down the floor. I mean it was. It wasn't just like I think the floors there's a little crooked. It was like Whoa the rent a great deal and I got broken it. Not when you're there because you're only there for one night but it got broken into and Maoists is there was at work and someone broken stole his. He had big TV and entertainment system and I had a whole set the tools all my carpenter tools. They still so that house. Where was that was that Korea tune or a pork so those were and were you had domestic life all right so then the locations of my sadness Sedillo work mark? You worked as an actor a little bit for those three years yeah maintained my sag insurance like I. I worked enough that I was was making probably a third of my living as an actor and I was getting my teeth taken care of dental. How many teeth do you have? Because you're still getting those teeth. Taken care of talks seven half Sousse every years. I have only a couple teeth that are fake teeth so you do have quite a bit of extensive dollar tangent realized that have been going on since the late ninety S. So we've got. Let's it's twenty two years. La was because I had a molar of twenty six. And I was like man. Chicago's goes great. I can just have a Burrito and a pack of cigarettes and a and like four pints of beer a day and I could afford that as a theatre actor this is where I'm living like a king and then and then in a back lower molar I just had a it just turned into a crater and and I could fit in entire pepper corn in it which is handy. If you're hiking we I mean if you need to pack spices on a long walk but it became alarming. I suddenly adulthood set in and I learn about things like medical insurance dental and so forth and I knew I had done the sundance movie in ninety six with Ben Affleck. Jeremy Davies directed by Mark Kellington bragging. Rachel vise amy low kane and others. Well the hits just keep on coming and and That Sean Indiana and everyone there like the director and the producer said You gotTA move to La. You've got a great mug. Doug put up some finger quotes. You've got a great mug. You're GONNA do terrific and I so I went home and said well you guys moving to La. I've got a great mug and but that was really. The one of the main reasons was to cash in my dental insurance and get my tooth fixed. Well I wish I gotta wish you would've told that story in Letterman. I think about saving for Letterman. That's what we always sir. We have a great story about our teeth. Save it for Letterman. We'll tell you what Dave who still has a show. Did you ever heard of athletic the older. As he still has a show but you have to need no introduction to be on it. I'm not sure how many people there are who sit that bill Still loving them and give you run for your money in the beer department. Not many who you can all right so in two thousand you play. Tell us about it. Will you know at the end of this was truly a bleak period and we were aware that we're drinking too much in fact when pat started dating courtney he quit drinking because it it was a clear problem and and so he gave up drinking which was an has stuck with it which I really admire And I said Said you know L. A. is not a great theater town like Chicago or New York. Chicago's little sister In the theater theater department but nonetheless that's what I built my life upon doing theater and so I just to save myself self. I need to find a play to do or I'm going to end up failing and probably moving home to Chicago and so I told all my friends. I need to find a play and these champion casting. Directors Nicole are boost. Oh enjoy Dixon said. Hey We know of a play. This cool company called the evidence room I think they're just called evidence room which I always found disagreeable so I I will obstinately call them. The evidence awesome but they This guy named Bharti. Lorenzo was producing. This play called the Berlin circle and they said You you know you might find this to be a great incentive. We have Megan Mullaly from the hit new TV. Show will and grace. And I said I live in dirt basement with no television so I have not seen the program and frankly I'm a theater snob from Chicago so I'm not interested in working with TV. V Lady I perform works of Literature on the stage and stay this crazy wrongheadedness. It's like a defense defense mechanism especially in Chicago to give yourself permission not to move to La or New York. You looked down at both of them but I auditioned auditioned for the role and it was an East German soldier who had monologue comparing his Phallus to his anus. So of course I got the part art was perfect for it and and we met. Yeah that's where we met two thousand doing this play her. I see the plane and that's when everything turned around for the worst or the batter very much for the better doc. That's when I mean I- i- confidently think that It actually saved my life because I I was drinking too much and and Smoking two packs a day using Intoxicants toxicants to mask the pain of perceived failure. He Nick Guess Switz- just around the corner The grocery store well that too but Valentine's Day Valentine's Day I love making love on Valentine's Day because it is a day. "He's like we were best friends. We live together and he really he. I was rocky. And he was Burgess Meredith like he really slapped me into shape and made me into a remotely competent actor okay. Who who is your favorite girl from your budget Chicago First names only probably favorite girlfriend. Yeah I lived in Chicago I named Krista can't who who I referred or to affectionately as my heavy metal girlfriend. I've met her. She came to see a one of the planes. We know there was this Acilia who she came to see banks For a positive. Trust me because it was traumatic for me. Because she came to see the Berlin circle. Play where we met Back to knowing sooner for a while and she she had pooped the bed pretty effectively enough that like literally because I I have had experience of that in my day and that literal experience of a guy that sleeping with who actually took Metaphor Three D. reality no nineteen years in counting. I have not shat upon you you. I'm saying thankfully but no. Here's the thing that night was so traumatic. Because you and I how you doing this play. We have this burgeoning romance which at the time to me headed impossibility to it like. There was this element of like. I don't think this is happening. Because this God like this goddess like creature. She's like we're getting along. We're friends but there's no way she could consider me romantically. And just coincidentally it had been a few years. Since I had seen Cecilia she had disappeared back to her homeland end of Mexico. She happened to be La. She got in touch. She came to see our play. And you and I weren't had not had words yet of like we're going somewhere so she came and introduced you and you were viper rush. You're like high like he couldn't have been more icy and I was like pouring cold sweat and like Cecilia. It's been really nice to see you. Could you just get Jeff. Please leave like I didn't see this coming but now Have a great life anyway. Yeah there there you go so that should have been a good sign for you that I was interested certainly. Yeah it was pointed in the right direction. Yeah I don't think I would that've been jealous ex girlfriend of guy that I was attracted to want have a relation Let's let's go back to Chicago and let's talk about Christa just from Nan. Okay just give me the points. KRISTA I'll say her. Whole name Krista chrome she crown but then a real name? It was spelled C. H. R.. Me I'm GonNa tell you it's not know is both Started with the letter K. Oh that's that's very metal. Here's the thing. When we were in college she was from a nearby bye town? I think either ran tool or decatur and I mean no one any disrespect by those two guesses because some people would take that as an affront front but she and her brother had a a hardcore heavy metal band called. EKG And KRISTA had black and a Purple dyed hair and the sides of her temples of her head were shaved. Should throw you into a bathtub once yes okay and she had ekg tattoos on her skull and so we were fans of her band and we used to go to the mosh pit. This is like age twenty and like this is where my football techniques came in handy because we would muscle us to the front and center the mosh pit in the hopes that she would spit on us and she did not disappoint. Definitely the best girlfriend have ever heard about this was it was the greatest stabbed her so she she worked at the local record store. You're with my good friend. And Roommate Ragsdale and so we had a connection to Krista like our friend was her friend but we really worshipped at the altar of Krista chrome then she started dating a guy named Nick while we were there and she ended up having a wedding. She got married to this guy. I and she because of Richard and she came to our plays early defiant theatre plays she had a group of US perform a black wedding on her behalf. So all I remember remember about it. There's lots of candles and incense and like black leather and makeup and each of us represented a different Pagan sect and it was was really very respectful pagan wedding. And so so the and that was kind of like the end of the CRISTA chrome chapter. And then we'd like all graduated graduated. We went away for a year to do Kabuki. All that happened task so then we moved to Chicago. Stay with me and maybe At the end of our first season in Chicago we did. I play where I got a lead called the quarantine and closing night at at the end of the party. I was the technical director so we all got drunk and got stone in the lobby at this Straw dog theater the basement on the the second floor and I'm cleaning up. I'm the last one. They're cleaning up and ragsdale still there because he's my roommate and I realized Krista chrome has been there she's sitting in the audience and a play music and sweeping and I was like. Oh Hey she was like hey you know give me compliments on the show and whatever and and she had remained close with Ragsdale but none of us had seen her forever. So I'm thinking this is crazy. KRISTA chrome is like hanging out to hook up with rank style Dale and it finally I think she had to come out and say like no. I'm here for you whereas the bathtub. So we we drove back to our home. It's maybe one in the morning but there was a place on Belmont called thousand liquors that the latest place. You could get alcohol. We stopped there and bought a bunch of Zima. That was her drink and went to our house. It's better and better and we got we engaged. In some the most intense intoxicants of my life some narcotic situations that really means I believe they call it a speed baugh. Aw It's run you snort heroin and cocaine no. Yeah Oh my God this. She threw me to bathtub. Yeah A- and we signed off at that point. We spent a really terrific months together having a lot of fun and then and then somehow so reality kind of set in for the that our path was not meant to go further and we bid ourselves a fond farewell. Yeah it's hard when you're dating hunt. Garlic does heroin through to keep it going. Yeah it's fun look at first. You see the Lourdes and then you're like Oh this this doesn't Mesh well with a life of responsibility a chicken horse I never did. I never did it it because it's Yeah I'm grateful that I don't have the kind of personality that made me say. Hey this is my new life. It's you really like the kind of her Jib. Though she she was such a bad ass and I hope I don't know what she's up to now but I hope she's continues to be the champion that we always knew her as but I do hope that she you know clean up a little bit just because he can't sustain no. Oh that's a twenty. You WanNa live longer. Yeah that's like up to the age of twenty five thirty and that's it I would say even twenty me three sure although these days thirty two as the not for heroin. I think that's A. That's that's a set timeline. I won't. I won't argue antiwar physiological truce. I met met by the way when I agreed to do this. PODCAST with it didn't occur to me that we'd be digging out the neck in government is a former heroin user. Finally figured out. Miles Davis was all about that. Yeah Man Dan that's deep. I don't think I really knew that. I guess I need done it on here. I didn't know the contracts well Apologies he's to Cecilia for icing her. Out but you know I mean I obviously was interested in you. Well I thought Oh snap I may away put the sky off a little too long. And now he's brought his ex girlfriend she also she flaked out like she. She's from Mexico beautiful talented young actress. We we worked together in the crucible steppenwolf and her life life choices which she wasn't super forthcoming about because we had planned to move to la together and suddenly she disappeared from me from her friends like ran out on a lease so she flaked out and turned up a couple months later. Like word came from Mexico that she was back at her mom's house and everything was okay but she just likes said I'm scared and don't know how to get out of this life. I want to go back to where comfortable. And so she she basically sort of ruined friendships and certainly ruined arcing and I felt like dodged a bullet which was good yeah.

"For an audition for the College Dance Department and while I was hanging out in the hallway during her audition I ran into a couple of theater students and I can't remember how in the world I happen to strike up a conversation with them. They must have said. Hey Kid you can't be hanging out here or something but it came out. Ah since and I said what do you mean. What does that mean and they said we? We studied theater acting in plays and I said well then. What can you get a job doing that? And they said yeah in Chicago for example or places like New York or London you can be paid to perform plays and that was my helen. Keller moment rose like like Oh and I went home and said Mom and Dad. I'm going to audition to be a theater student. You can get paid to do plays in Chicago and I mean it blew. It was such an epiphany and I gave the did it. I went and had audition and write an essay to get into this theater conservatory where they only take sixteen actors a year and looking back at how terrible it all must have been. Because I'd never done this kind of audition addition before. How did she get in she? I here's here's my guests to think about it was it was very much a regional theatre training program. So there's a lot of shakespeare their training you to go to like Illinois Shakespeare or to do more pageant based or presentational theatre styles and so when you're doing shows like that you need talent and and good actors to cast Aston the roles but you also need a few guys to carry the good looking people off stage on Palanquins and in Horse Carts and whatnot. You know if you're doing the three musketeers. You need a couple of thugs so I think I slipped and through that sort of loophole. Did you have any kind of like movement audition audition or singing or anything like that. No I mean I do think I was asked about that. And I said that I was really interested in their sword fighting department their movement department really coordinated and Good with movement and dare I say the dots and he was a fight choreographer and it's done a lot of that kind of thing but yeah. I always thought that you could have been should have pedal on more of a dance. Dance background if you'd really wanted to over. That's not me and I just started a band within the last few years for full dancing I made a joke a few years ago. Like I'm going to be a dancer. Ha Harvey laughed. Well guess what. I'm a dancer. So you never know your true calling but back to you you go to. The you. Buy In champaign Urbana. Is it wrong of me to say that. I don't like the name Champagne Champagne or the name or banner for towns specially Bandeau. I mean people get to likely was a tribe right. Wasn't that a no thing. He was more four. Oh Oh then. I don't like him. I don't know I'm thinking of Champlain. Champlain there's a lake champlain. Champagne I'm not. I don't understand why it's the name of Italian her Bana as a really sure not cute. That's like it's like town of town. Oh Yeah City yeah city turn Setina Sunny Way. I just needed to lodge a formal complaint you know and I have to say While while we're on at many of the Residents of the town college shampoo banana for perhaps because they feel better similar version but also hyphenated in it. I thought it was two different towns. It is because it's a little twin town but confusingly. It's it's known as Champaign Urbana but the college is called Old University of Illinois at her Bana Champagne so they don't they don't know their ass from a hole in the ground attitude to know how to grow delicious sweetcorn corn but God get your town. Okay all right well. I'm glad that we got those things off chests all right so you actually graduated -aduated from college owes today's hot take. I did graduate. I took a year off because we toured a Kabuki show Oh yes attack about. Let's talk about this. Nick was a member of a Kabuki Theatre Company in college. This is what I'm talking about with his ability to express himself physically. And you were on a tour for a year. We'll know that we toured weird Japan as part of the school year because our professor and director shows of Saito Sensei was getting ready to retire so so in a celebratory way of his career of adapting Shakespeare in Greek dramas to traditional Japanese Kabuki theatre style l.. There was this tour to Japan of our show and it was nineteen ninety one the first to hungry. Sorry am I right well. Yes or the first Gulf War had started sadly and so some producers said hey this anti instinct dance to war antiwar. I'd say this is an anti war against war. Were is over if you want. That's Yoko Gone John from our bed in podcast. We've come full circle. So some producers picked up the show and and we did a professional production in a great regional theater outside of Philadelphia called the People's light and theatre company in malvern Pennsylvania. We did it there for six months. We did it in Philadelphia proper then we toured. We took it to Hungary and the island of Cyprus and we were supposed to play in Transylvania for some reason big cancelled because of sesame. Vampires some Takata off too many vampires and so. We took a year off to do like a professional year of this Kabuki play which was called Kabuki Achilles and it was an adaptation of the Iliad and it Wa- It was a beautiful play. It was anti war stories of Achilles and Hector and it ended with a Kelly sang to hector basically glee. Why have I just killed you? You are as I were the same brothers. Why are we fighting? People like that and people were moved by it and and since this is partly my podcast I just want I just want to insert makes me think of these. Tom Waits lyrics that I love so much from his Song Day after tomorrow talking about both sides in a war how does God tell me. How does God choose one? Both sides are praying to the same. God how does God choose who's prayers prayers to see refuse who spins the wheel and who rolls the dice when it comes to war just makes no sense. I'm I'm MM firmly antiwar a dead horse there buddy got it and guide unlike war all right. That's part of what makes you you okay so Loud and proud focus All right so I need to know this is for me. We might even cut this out. Although this'll be the one thing that can want keep When we were on our first time to go to a restaurant and sit across from each other there and it was at that place on Franklin? That isn't there anymore. What was it called that Italian place? We got like Pizza Brad. We sat by the front window in the middle. Anyway we did it goodies. Gatti's like it used to become Spaghetti's but then they changed. It closed closed We were sitting at a table and we were talking about our past relationships and I was saying that I was open to manner women and I think you wanted to like get on board with that and so you told me a story about an interaction. You had with a male of the species as and when you're in Hungary and then since then you've recanted that statement. Please tell me real story okay. And when we were in Hungary we are you. Sure sure it was me when we're hungry. We had like a a mixture with this other theater company from Hungary and we saw production. They did they were like a street theater company. It was very hippy. And and they did a production of Romeo and Juliet but out on the street and it was actually really cool. They use no profit good part except here about their production of Romeo and Juliet. So get this last. Stop editing you so so. The Guy who has think played Romeo was was very was a very beautiful guy and and caring and the whole thing a bit of drunken puck and Dahlia. Ah We all after seeing their production which was ripping Lee. Good picture this. No the one detail that I will include is when I believe it's one tilt. Oh No no I'm cutting you off get back to the story so we all went like hung out and had a big wine party and there may have been some. Hashish is Wellington listening and we were hanging out in the park area called Avenue Avenue of heroes. I believe share incredible and Budapest and and he and I had a very friendly evening that was kind of flirtatious and and sweet and I'm not sure if he was gay or not. I don't think so. No passes were made but but I had a girlfriend in our show another actress in our Kabuki show and she was like dancing a lot with the the sort of Nick Offerman of their company sort of swore the hot guy. Well now the just the the bigger more war bruiser welcomes their guy and And so you know it was is pretty harmless but it was. I think it was sort of to answer the question. That was the closest I ever came to sort of being attracted to a guy but nothing really went down and I mean and that sort of answered the question where I was like. This is really nice and fun. And this guy's definitely beautiful but but I'm not I'm not thinking about getting up on his joint okay. So can I just tell you that at that table at Bernie knees or whatever the fuck. That place was call. Well I swear to God you tell me that Hungarian guy went down. You know bet. There's no way training get in the conversation. Asian fast talking about the women absolutely like when we first were going out. You seem so exotic you seem like something off of like a a Grecian urn like you seem like a creature of legend and so I absolutely would expect that I would have the embellished things to try and impress you as one does but I would never have made such a claim. Okay well thank. Memory is tricky. Go all right. Well I am glad that we had a public reexamination of that because I have been waiting store. Nineteen years to the bottom of that story and winning for podcast. Maybe a nineteen years. We'll have a podcast and then I can like spring it on them and it worked. I feel better. I feel like a weight has been lifted. Not that there's anything wrong with it but plenty gay as it is does without having actually had a guy hungering guy go down on you in the garden outside of Wild Party while you're traveling traveling with your Kabuki theatre company. Thank you. You're welcome appreciate.

"Oh you mean like like arm like keeping like they're leaving for a week having someone come yeah of course i definitely would say that's a better option assuming you know the person's pests ending his your dogs and his natural environment any trainer will deal with this at some point is some dogs when they're in like on new boarding situation they're in a new environment new people new noises new place like all these things are new i know you guys seen that so they may not eat for the first couple of days because there's nerve like it's kinda like boot camp when i was in marine corps boot camp like you know guys are just doing weird shit they would never do they're like i'm just laying low trying to figure out how all the this new system not used to works so dogs can do the same thing some dogs are completely fine with it but i would say yes in general it would be better to have a known person come over and do pet sitting so the dogs and their environment nothing's really changing that much the routine they're getting up in the morning they're going in their backyard so oh my answer would be yes in general i would say it's better for your dog to do an in home sitting then like a exterior boarding somewhere sean yeah i get asked us a lot from a training aspect of course if you have someone that is with the collar it's gonna be more beneficial because the dog is actually be using the collar while you're boarding or you're out of town you know i get asked all the time about boarding dogs that i trained and of course the clients would like to board with us because they know that their dog's going to be using the collar and use the training throughout the process versus going to take your dog to a boarding facility picks up bad habits you know and you know also like nick said strange environment hadn't forgot the whole thing works it's basically a fifty first dates thing you know all over again and then had to give back situated back at home they're happy to be there so they might be acting a little out of whack there so then you have course having someone come to your home.
