"So he'd had plenty of time to think about what consciousness meant to him and then overlaying that on what science is beginning to say underwrites consciousness. "Designed dozens of playgrounds including one for thirty thousand children. Cornelia was hired to design the children's creative centre for the canada pavilion at expo. Sixty seven in montreal and her own children provided the inspiration. Having a summer holiday at the oakland lake or could noggin and we had a lovely rented house so the children. I played in this beautiful garden in one day to hit made of figure. Eight with water and pebbles. So i said that's the playground and so the children helped me to do this. Play province so this is a playground without monkey bars and swings and slides. And how did that go over with people. Well thirteen thousand. Children played in a tree house. They let themselves down with on and support if they had dared sand and water because they had this canal and in the canal was eight scotia dory sent from nova scotia and on the last day of expo was bitterly cold october. Thirty first nineteen sixty seven it little girl and a winter coat red winter coat with the fur-collared set in the boat and she had a little basket and she would dip the basket hours into the water in see how ran out. That was her play. Even though expo sixty seven was a huge undertaking. It was time to tackle projects other than playgrounds and that opportunity presented itself one day with a phone call if law local here. My nick fantastic this hardy. Ground cover is a favorite of cornelius. And it's used to good effect here at robson square in downtown vancouver. This public space was jam packed with people during the two thousand ten winter games. Look at how many people there and on this late summer day. The lunchtime crowd is taking full advantage of every bench patch of grass even napping on giant beanbags on the coordoned-off street. Do you think that it it helped that. We had the olympics s. Got to realize what it could do right expected. We are here to meet thing tom. Tom has worked with the internationally renowned architect the late arthur erickson and back in nineteen seventy-four erickson was hired to design new provincial government buildings in a courthouse it involved linking three city blocks with a series of public spaces but most people don't realize when they walk their today's that these spaces mostly at the street level are actually rooftops with the main part of the buildings underground. This was early days for green roofs and ericsson had not yet found a landscape architect. Who grasped his vision so being called cornelia. We thought that we did need somebody special to do this. We wanted somebody that we knew reasonably well and so we said well. Let's phone cornelia artisan Yeah that's a good idea. Why don't we call cornelia. We were under quite time constraints. So i said well can you come in. And let's have a chat I knew cornelius socially. But i've never known her professionally so she came in and i think cornelia you have to take it from there. I was very surprised and it's happened at the moment in my aunt. Set at the breakfast table with all of us and said it's about time cornelia that you do something else but say grout i said i know nothing else i if these kids. That's all i know. And then the telephone ring and said i should come down to the office as soon as possible and i came at about two thirty and being a set will show you a three block model. That person picks jet at us three blocks and that's happened after asa said that he's not building high price but he will build a park on top of a building that lies on its side set. Correct yuckiness right yet. The idea was to create a civic square in vancouver so after much doing and following The government's all agreed and so we ended up with this idea that we would put the government offices underground the new courthouse on the father's west side and then transformed the existing courthouse to the new vancouver art gallery in order to accomplish all that we still wanted to create a roof garden as a civic space so we called up cornelia because she was the obvious choice and i was just so impressed with gonna because she had that determination and she had done enthusiasm and infectious personality that i said well what the heck you know. I'm only thirty two years. Nave asking me to do this whole thing. So i'm sure. Can you can do it so at being asked me to write a proposal and in this proposal i spelled out the most important thing understand and collaborate with our engineers loading possibility of this area and that We would not have soil but we have a growing medium in many respects. This is the first real green roof in north america. And i think one on explain what cornelia meant by growing medium normally plans grow from soil soil unfortunately in many places to grow big trees. You need about four feet of soil but when you put normal on you and you arrogate it then. It gets really heavy which creates extreme load onto the building because we're trying to build an office building underneath it for the provincial government so she was smart enough to know right from the beginning with anything she already said. Oh we have to invent something that's lightweight because otherwise it just won't be affordable so she actually was one of the forerunners about researching what makes green roof work so there was tremendous amount of research that cornelia had to do She in many way pioneered the whole concept of green roofs. Soy everybody arthur erickson and being. Tom had found the right person for solving the load capacity for their green roof. And for cornelia robson square. What's her apprenticeship her calling card for future projects so being. How does this project stack up to today. Oh i think it's still. It's time amazing. Projects anywhere in the world. I mean really. I mean th there is nothing like it anywhere where somebody has really taken three city blocks and made it for public. Use the way it's been done and it's open all the time for everybody. It's the citizens living room. How important was this project. Cornelia to your career. This was starting point of Stepping up this was stepping up the letter. And now i do mostly only big projects. What what are you. Love the most about this project. I think that it's an oasis in city for everyone who chooses to be there and what i loved them is quiet area over there and the next quiet over there and people can live in the city and come and sit here. Read a book or listen to music. Whatever and look at all the apartment buildings around. Urban.

"We need to preserve in the event of an apocalypse. Plus the orioles folks. they're thinking ahead here. They wrapped the orioles in my lar- which protects against negative eighty degree. Temperatures and vikings fruits vegetables grains are nice but without frosting. Are we even a civilization jack so true but there are three stories daily way. Rain food is candy. They don't reflect the views of robinhood family informational. Just so we're recommending any securities. Nope it's not a research report or investment advice to offer or sale of security by next digestible business. News video financial. Llc member favors less pc for our first story. Instacart just made too big headlines. Well technically one headline one headline you probably read in the news. The second headline is the one. You're eating in this news. We made it up. Yeah this is the one jack. And i came up with over the weekend now. Snacks over half of online grocery delivery. That's instacart they're doing last year. The pandemic was a good year for online grocery delivery instacart valuation jumped from seventeen billion to thirty billion so jack and prep in this pot over the weekend and we notice that there's this headline floating around that everyone seems to like have the same headline about instacart. Instacart cuts nine thousand. Nine hundred jobs including employees voted to unionize at instacart honestly sad headline said to see about a fifth of this company. Losing their jobs in the middle of a pandemic not a fun and if instacart retaliated against their ten workers in chicago. That voted to unionized. Yeah that'd be kinda messed up kinda messed up kinda sad to so then jack and i started thinking we actually think there's a better headline here headline number two instacart completely pivot tire business model. That's right instacart completely pivoted. Its entire business model. you probably know. Instacart gig tech company just like uber basic connecting essential workers to in essential jack and me who are hungry instacart. You don't want to spend a couple hours at the grocery store shopping. So you pay an independent contractor through the instacart apt to do it for you and for that lovely digital matchmaking. Instacart takes a hefty little cut of your grocery bill. That's why we were so shocked by instacart announcement last week. Yeah we will be winding down our in store operations arts knackers. Let that sink in instacart a fast growing company that wants to ipo. Just said they're winding down there in store operations. Jack shouldn't be winding up those operations. This is a scaling company. I think they're supposed to grow their core business neck. Okay so jacqueline jumped and snacks. When a little deeper into that press release noticed they have a new service that they're calling partner pick with partner pick there is no instacart gig worker roaming the is for you to make sure that it's right no. Instead with partner pick kroger employees may pick and pack that own peach that they had at the store and then you would show up to grab that packed pick peach straight up curbside game stop stock pop drop the grocery store employees do the shopping. Not the instacart shopper. That's why we think the real story here. Instacart has a new business bal. They cut out the middleman themselves. The shoppers they just wanted to provide kroger's with an app basically grocery as a service that's one inscribed doing so jack what's the takeaway for our buddies over it instacart before your company. Ipo there needs to be a good story to tell knackers instacart. They want to go public this year. But they're gonna need a new story that they can tell investors a good story. Nick how 'bout completely pivoting the business model to profitability shack. I like the ending of that story. Smackers away from the gig. Shopping model avoids for instacart that whole controversy about independent contractors and benefits and health insurance and all and simply taking a cut of the sales that can be a highly profitable business if they're just the app uber is the g. gig company that still uses independent contractors and they have never made an actual profit instacart. Now has the story. Wyatt actually could four. Our second story snappers. You probably haven't gotten the vaccine unless you're nurse like my sister-in-law but amazon thinks they can solve that problem seriously situation. Four hundred thousand americans have passed away from covert so the government has a new goal in the first one hundred days. Vaccinate one hundred million americans. That's the goal. And if you're going to do that. It seems straightforward really. Like three simple things. You gotta do the first in the delivery you need to get the vaccines from the factory to the people's arms. Then second thing you're gonna need you're gonna need technology. Am i like eligible yet. How do i get an appointment. Can i booked this thing online. My mom's a crash. Like fifty times in manhattan third. You're gonna need trust vaccines causing people can be kinda scary. Sorry so you got delivery. Technology got trust jack amazon. Canucks those boxes delivery tag goes without saying they're also according to a poll from morning console. Amazon is the number foremost most loved brand out there in america. That's good on the trust factor. So they can kind of. Hold your hand going through this thing so jack and i noticed over the weekend that amazon actually opened a huge vaccine clinic in seattle at its headquarters built amazon should have called it prime vacs. That's what we're going to call it now. It was one day only was actually yesterday. And the goal was to vaccinate a whopping two thousand people in that single day which is probably more than like the city of new york managed. Did here yesterday proud. It's a sad situation. And for jeff bezos. He's hoping this is the first of many also kind of some good karma helps with this conscious one near the richest man in the world you try to use your resources to help the world so related to operation prime vacs. We also noticed an amazon. The federal government complete assistance in vaccine distribution is an untapped resource. Amazon is totally nick. It has six hundred and fifty physical sites in this country. Yes they do which are arenas of logistics and cardboard and conveyor belts and emptiness nas- knackers. No you're thinking walgreens closer to your apartment. Easier to get the vaccine at rather. Just walk around the corner hit that. In the east village one single amazon fulfillment center can probably fill up the entire population of the county. That you live. Your whole town fits in doc on the left side of the facility but snacks as you know amazon is not unicef not not not so unsurprisingly. He also ask. Joe biden to designate all amazon workers as top priority next in line to get the vaccine because their frontline workers. So jack. what's the takeaway for our buddies over. At prime facts the government was not designed to distribute vaccines. The private sector was snack. So far you've got two. And a half million americans who've been fully vaccinated. We're talking bow shots one and number two for like two months in having the vaccine. That's not a good start. And it's probably because every state has been on their own and now we know that president biden wants a national strategy but honestly the federal government not not was never really made for this. Not really their thing. Well if you need delivery the. Us postal service. Nick fantastic with ballots syringes though slightly different than the lion. An okay. what about the military. I'm pretty sure they could handle like three hundred million syringes incredibly capable incredibly efficient kind of terrifying. If we all have to show up. Yeah that feel like martial law so we are glad to see the government partnering up with america's most innovative problem solving sector three words the private sector for our third and final story before you can have electric cars. This part is keep the electric charging station so we got two stories from two different companies approaching electric car charging two different ways completely different strategies. First off. jack. We gotta go here electra charging network going public via a spec for two point six billion dollars. Ev go helps electric vehicles. Go with its eight hundred fast. Charging stations located in thirty four different states. Jack that number is not high enough for you. They're tripling it through a partnership with general motors okay. Their competitive advantage. There chargers faster than tesla chargers. You get one hundred miles of charging twenty five minutes of charging coach. Tiffany always says speed kills and the company acquiring vigo taking it public has an aggressive name. It does have an aggressive. Jackie wanna do the on this climate change crisis real impact number one acquisition corporation. Jack it sounds like either a weapon or a jerry. Bruckheimer films starring al gore and once. This deal closes which is probably in a couple of months. The name of the company will change to vigo and the ticker symbol will change from cr. I ask what it is today to vigo what will be in two months. That's the key respects. Now that's what's going on with this public company ego but the other company is still private and it is called volta. They just raised one hundred twenty five million dollars to continue expanding beyond the twenty three states. Electric charges are already in now for its competitive advantage. This is what jack and i thought was so fascinating. Volta is a charging station. That is not a charging station. Think of it more like a parking spot. that happens to have a charger. But it's just a parking spot at like your favorite retail store charging it takes a little time. It's going to be thirty minutes to get full charge on one of these puppies. That's why volta parks they're charging parking lots right outside like j. crew so you can spend those thirty minutes while your car's charging finding the perfect fit of jeans and then get this knacker's then they can partner with the store that they're just outside of because the charging station is also a giant screen. Yes and i'm this giant screens. You're going to see promotions for the stores. Like forty percent off. J. crew chino at a because it's j. crew. They were already forty percent off. So jack what's the takeaway for our buddies over in the entire like electric charging universe. We've nick you and i have been saying this. Gas stations are so overdue for disruption snacks. Worst retail experience in our economy. The menu at the gas stations hasn't changed in like three decades. Make you know. I drove across country in two thousand eighteen to california. We snacked across the country. You were doing this from hotel rooms. We stopped at like twenty gas stations and not one of them had sparkling water but they did have different versions of mountain dew. Let me tell you. Jack is not the same if he doesn't have a spin drift and his left hand by the way my funny bones never been the same since. I slipped on a slim jam walking into the bathroom. The clorox seems get the smackers the electric car revolution. That is coming. We'll create an interesting dilemma for the future of the gas station. Yeah because on the one hand most people won't visit them anymore. You're just gonna like charge at home in your garage charge. Ninety five percent of your charges will be plugging into the wall of your garage right on the other hand if you've got a long road trip you're going to end up having to spend a half an hour fully charging your car and then you're gonna drive like another three hundred miles to another station so easy. Go has a clean slate to reimagine. What gas station convenience stores could look like very soon. Volt they think gas station. Convenience stores should go extinct. Spend that thirty minutes while your car's charging at your favorite shopping place instead. It's snacker which one of those future do. You think it's going to be hit us up at robin snacks. Jackie a whip up the take was forced to start the week. Instacart off a fifth of the workers. Because they're letting the grocery stores bag their own bags they get an ipo instacart. Though now has a prophet story that they can tell amazon. Has delivery skills tech prowess and the trust of most americans. We're thinking primax primax. That could be the solution this year. Third and final story. Electric charging stations could look to different ways in the future. Snacks take a moment. Re imagine the gas station or parking spot. It might just become a parking spot at like triple. How's it could just become shake now time for a snack fact today this one sent in by an old time. Snacker sean danino from lovely. Rosetta california nino. I met this guy at michigan. A hundred years ago snappers you could order a four plex like four story apartment building out of the sears catalog for the inflation adjusted price of sixty five thousand dollars. Shocker went bankrupt jack. That's so strange true. That's a little underpriced but still nice to know how affordable housing was one hundred years well as some context. We can sprinkle on in california right now. The median cost of producing one unit of affordable. Housing is between six hundred thousand and a million dollars depending on the city. That's why my buddy. Sean is working on affordable housing in california state. Akers we love being with you to start that we remember the best way we grow is if you refer for one friend and then we double in size. "They may or may not be a playoff team. I think they're going to be more in that playing around like situation. Would you agree with me that like i. I should be going out of my way to watch my next now. I've had two or three really close friends of mine that i'm going to you know a group chat with keith. Each say in the last twelve hours. Should we be happy about. Am i right to get excited about the knicks here. Like is it like it's been so long it's so few good things happens to them that. Yeah you should get excited a little bit. They've beaten good teams. Hawks pacers box barrett has had a bunch of really good games. Randall looks like a beast. Like yeah get excited. If i would've told you three weeks ago before the season started keys that you played in one of those playing games to get into the playoffs. I think he would've took it with any nick. Fantastic being in those playing games at the end of the season. If that's where you end up absolutely please signed me up and you know the the you look like you mentioned beating good team. The atlanta hawks. I know there now for three came at force to the highest scoring team in the nba. Very young and they're going to have some hiccups as well. But when the knicks the big lead and the atlanta hawks came back and took the lead and then even going into the fourth quarter. The hawks look like they may or may not be able to run away the fact that the knicks didn't foale. I think julius randle. I know he had seven turnovers last night. So you can find your flaws. But he almost had a triple double again. Rj barrett is now efficient from three point land. I love this and carbon. I'm going to get more of your take on this a i. I think one of the biggest reasons why this team is winning is because told coach tabs has them believing and coach tips. He's really excited about how they're plan. Just the overall way. They're playing for each other. I think that's a big part of winning. And so they come in. They work every day know. We're not perfect. We have a lot of work to do. Concentrate on the improvement now and we have to learn from every game so We we won the game but obviously there were things that we could do a lot better. And that's what we'll focus on when we go home is another challenge much and i love here internet from tips and how about the rookie emmanuel quickly. That was lambasted by the media. This why would you pick him. And he's not going to be any good sixteen points look pretty good last night. Rj barrett now over his last eighty six minutes as fifty one point. Sixteen boards eight assists and one turnover. I think it's time for us to realize that. These aren't your dad's knicks. Well they might actually be my father's knicks like they might be knicks team that we can love now absolutely. I think that it's fun right now. And listen they're winning. These games keith. Straight up as dogs. They're underdogs in these games in their winning them outright. I did see this nugget last night. From the betting perspective. Nixon the first quarter now six in one against the spread so the knicks have been playing. Well early could be something to watch and these nick games. Maybe you don't like the line for the whole game. They're playing a good team. Seems like they start really well. Six one against the spread in the first quarter. Yeah and it was either ariel or spady that had posted it on social media as well last night about the over in in the first quarter for for the knicks. I think last night it was twenty three and a half or twenty four and a half and wherever whichever i don't remember if it was ariel or smitty the put it out there but i had said clearly take the over and yes the overhead so That's all say the knicks are going to be fun to watch. And i feel like they can make you some money if you pay attention to how they play the game. We've got five games on the late tonight. What he got formulas break down. Yeah let's take a look at tonight. We've got the jazz into brooklyn to take on the nets right now of course minus four half for the jazz. Keith road favorite To twenty seven twenty seven up from twenty six to twenty seven now on fan duel no k. d. as for the nets this over under is perfectly fit when you look at. Utah's a team. That's averaging about one hundred twelve points per game. The nets are averaging about one hundred eighteen points per game. No kevin durant this team the brooklyn. That's has been a shell of themselves. Since spencer dinwiddie went out you never would have thought that a role player like he would matter so much but he has durant not there as well. a lot's gonna fall on the shoulders of kyrie. Irving tariffs levert. Maybe joe harris someone else providing some offense. I think the nets are going to continue to struggle. There's a utah. Jazz team to that is playing pretty good ball. I think this is a route about the the right. Spread their netra to and five against the spread the jazz or three and three against the spread. I liked jazz to to not only win. But i think they cover this. I think they may even pull away. This can be an eight nine point victory for the jazz tonight in one of the weird scheduling quirks of the nba season. And there is a lot of them. The lakers play at memphis against the grizzlies. For the second time keith. In three days they played them. There on sunday lakers beat them one. Zero eight hundred ninety four here. We are again. Lakers minus nine at the grizz total of two eighteen. Right now on faneuil when you dig into this one total seems low but when you dig even further these two teams that actually are at scoring that much. The grizzlies have been on the under four out of their last five games. The lakers have got under invest. Last five games lakers four three against the spread. So crunch all those numbers. I like the lakers to win this one. I think they cover but actually like the under. So if you're going to put some money. I would sprinkle a little bit money on the under. Anthony davis playing much better as of late. Lebron james is still lebron. James and these thirty six years old but he's playing like he's thirty one is playing like he's twenty five times and that whole crew. There seems to be gelling. The lakers are going to be really good. And again for the memphis grizzlies. They are kind of shell of themselves. Vow job ranson without jaren jackson Their their game. They're trying hard they they're they're out there giving it their all. But there's all the coachspeak conversations lakers win. Take the under t. Wolves go out to denver. They'll be taking on the nuggets tonight minus eleven for yokich and crew to twenty six and a half the total on fan dole. I forgot to look at what the odds were for. You know yokich either triple double on fan duel or what. His number was points rebounds and assists combined. but whatever. That number is probably gonna hit nicole yokich. If you're not paying attention is avenue a triple double and is averaging twelve point eight assists per game. He's a center. Now he's appoint center but he has a center a big man. He's leading the nba in assists per game and the hangover for the denver nuggets of from going far in the bubble and not having much time to relax during a quote unquote off season. And battling back from being down three one multiple times in the postseason seems to be alleviated a little bit. I think denver wins. I think they cover as well. And i just checked on fan dula yokich plus one fifteen to get a triple double plus icy yes. Forty five and a half points rebounds and assists forty five and a half so if he gets twenty point he's going to get twenty one points he's going to get twelve assess. That is that's already already so. I need thirteen rebounds. Actually no i don't think he gets it spurs out in la to take on the clips tonight minus nine.

"Feeling today. Doing great nick fantastic. We're going to go straight into the questions because this is something that my listeners. I know we're going to be keen to hear all about. We're in a midst of pandemic where everyone is adjusting to working from home practices. People want to know more how this can work and what the future world looks like so. Let me ask you a question. One dave demonstrating what is remote on boarding about. And why would it still be a best practice after. This pandemic off dakota nineteen sure. Yeah so let me just back up. A little bit from that Just to kind of provide a little bit of framing of even Cut how i feel about talking about the subject in. And i only say that because it's it's kind of with mixed emotion that i'm talking to so many people right now about remote and a mixed emotion because i founded the company six years ago with a focus on those employers that had remote workforce or distributed workforce's they didn't necessarily have hr professionals in satellite offices and the like and it was really born out of the pain points of the last company. I started that was hiring. Hundreds of people in a very short period of time and it was in a regulated industry. Where getting it right when we were doing all the bits and pieces was highly consequential and so we rolled this forward and and it was really focused on that sort of a of an industry. Vertical or horizontal. I guess i would call it. And then i find myself today doing interview after interview brought on by the pandemic in really finding that what we've built in the expertise gained has has come to service in this in this new area in a very unexpected way. So the you know. I am uplifted. Have the opportunity to share all learning with people. "Welcome to the show. Hi Of course Tom. Toms at the moment nine times unprecedented. Tom Said just WANNA share. In the purpose of this one was as a family to talk a bit about the current. Ivars and get Keith's perspective and get a family perspective on how we feel and what's going on about an hopefully compliant share with your families and and helps you guys gather some strength and right now. We're doing this after we've just finished dinner together around a table which is one of the things that we're doing causative leads to spend more time one on one but let me kick off by asking. You John. What's your biggest concern at the time right now? My biggest concern is for the people that have that particularly vulnerable of which my sister is. One of those people she has bronchitis. I'm really concerned about her. And also my mom who's elderly. That's the thing that dominates my mind. Mice and what have you. What have you passed onto them? Well they've been very good. That stayed indoors and then limiting contact mice complete late without the people and media family including me. And that's something done with my parents through mom's just an operation on a and we've mentioned they staying indoors and if they need anything we'll bring it to them and West self-isolated them away from the rest. That's obviously message number. One is done tying self-isolation thing is a junket needs to happen. Especially for those most vulnerable Annika Tummy. What's your thoughts on Corona Virus? Right now from a twelve year old perspective. I personally during like it because obviously not just may but everyone can't really see that family and friends because of distance same year end of what are you most worried about as a twelve year. Old Right now. What worries you the most of my Auntie and my grandmother's help and my other friends families helps this house. Some of them vulnerable to it has filed a number of course a lot of people listening to this same position. So what what are things? You're doing to stay close to talk to them. You're now you were talking to your primary on the phone yesterday. What other things can people do to make sure that they stay in touch? Well I face times some of my friends and I sent some messages to my Auntie Nick Fantastic Ali. I'm sorry in an uptown. Male important to stay connected. You might not be able to save them into software slight break. The INFORMATICA is still staying. Touched US technology embrace technology in a positive way to stay connected and let people know that they Ali tell me you're ten years old. What what does for your mind at the moment because this is something like this. You've never been through. Of course. I actually think people overreacting about this. And why do you think because first of all they're expecting kids to do the new social listening signal and obviously that has actually some people in depression okay. So that's a different perspective. So what's depression to you? So what's depression? Main to a ten year old boy negative thoughts and suicidal thoughts. Okay do you. Ten year old boys would not mainly just waiting for something to happen. Because we're not adults yet and we can't really do anything about this. So there's a bit of anxiousness because you guys worrying about the unknown. Yeah I am worrying about what things to come bike. People voted on a poll. If we should go into full walk down eighty percent mind you over. One hundred thousand people voted eighty percent. Said yes twenty percent said Nar. So why was this? Where did you see this as as a family? Watch the news and I seventy S is sometimes another mice reliable source but they ran a facebook poll. So what's your take on that? Do you think should be listening to what the people want. Then sometimes very important people can have a dim aside. It could all sometimes. It can be ridiculous interesting perspective so obviously the most important thing if you or your friends are going through. These sorts of thoughts is to is to stay connected to people. Ask questions communicate? Would you agree lots? Have you been there for your friends talking to them? Yes I would have colds my friend and see how he was doing and my grandmother but my grandmother. I didn't know and sadly I didn't bother to ask if she was working and my friends. I stayed improve school on the day that we're film rule voicing this you haven't had a chance to reach out to them but you will know debt and you need to make sure that you do reach out to Jonah based on Ali's in that's going to be something I've been talking about that. I think mental health is going to be the biggest problem. Somebody who does a lot of months? Coaching very well connected in the space. What would your some of your tips and advice would be well. I think we have to be very conscious of what we can implant what we can control and those things what we can action and following that model because if we too much on all the uncontrollables that will definitely put people in a negative mindset and impact their health even further so my message would be to focus on the things you can control and the things that you can implant and yes stay connected because human beings get this strike from each other in some good message. Their control what you can control. Implants what you'd like to and if you can't do either then lead to let it pass but stay connected in knowing that you've got people around you reaching out to them and tons of knee. One of things I talk about. Is You know we see how good people are when the tons of tough because it's easy to be good when things are easy nobody's immune to this and it doesn't matter whether you have a dollar or several millions of dollars nobody is immune everybody's going to go backwards in one way shape or form an if we all do what we can. And I've been talking about Karen Community and that has to happen Good spirits do what she can and I know a lot of people that are at doing some amazing work and especially through social media. It's been used a positive in most ways where people are getting the message out of helping each other helping family. Make sure that we keep that going. That's my advice is to really understand. Karen community kids are doing this doing good dates for people and reaching out and being there for people. It's very very important. That we stay connected. It's important that we understand that this shall pass. It's going to pass if we bond together and do amazing things. So what would your message be to your audience your twelve year old audience you that young better teenager teenager. What would your message from a positive perspective? Definitely find things that make you happy and make you feel better when you're sad and focus on good things and not the unknown and what could possibly happen. I guess for testing. That's really really good advice. Ali What would your message be to you? The people of your age group around being positive. Well Cuban touch with your friends stay happy. Stay positive and you'll get through this very good John. What was your message to people? I think we've mentioned it a couple of times. Stay connected and use this time to really connect with your family because often. There's so many more distractions that go on but everything almost is cancelled. I now is the time where we can come together as a family and I'm looking forward to that and the fewest listeners. Do the same and my message really simply we walk into holidays. We all go adam wine and dine. Let's use the time to create positivity and bond together with family with friends. Obviously staying oscillators you can touch with people in your own home that a healthy and all the rest of it but really I think outside the square be positive and just because we're isolated because we've talked on holidays or or eating drinking a risk doesn't mean that we can't do it at home put on the music dance around and dumb carry. On last thoughts journal. I was watching the news. Because as you watched the mowatt negative view become great. Any last kids Obviously the good things in life and use things such as warring cooking. Whatever makes you happy and use the extra time. Allie plane seat belt. Where his okay God? You've been listening to fill the BIRLA. Jonah Dibella Annika Dibella and Ali Dibella. This is Flash Casper. Pd big stay safe. Stay will be smart care and community until an extent. Be The best you can be..

"Decide to hold a three touchdown lead against houston stat houston you're right because all denver's games have been relatively closely she not been a good month long month is the real deal like uh-huh turn things around with nottingham forest are you sure cody because you said he's the real deal games you say he's the real deal but daniel jones owns look like the real deal in the first game and we make jokes about gentlemen getting to the office before everyone else in putting his feet on the furniture because he had a quarterback for ten years and daniel jones has been pretty terrible this year i don't know how to do these assessments and neither does john elway i know drew lock has looked good in both of these games he made all the right decisions against houston he was super efficient not throwing a lot of incompletions but i don't feel like i know anymore after one game i don't know it's it's impossible to know but just based based on what i've seen now houston understand how you're doing the measurements on this because kylie we had a conversation there for five minutes they don't need cam newton then they're more like i we kind of blew that one right so help me because right now every damn guy in the league can come into a game and go twenty four twenty five minutes you look fine the first couple of games he didn't look real good in the last one so so these things get figured out right he's thinks and i don't know how to do the measurements drew lock looked great to me last just last weekend yes but a lot of quarterbacks have looked great this season against that texans defense did you have your right they they they like mentioned jacksonville went south defensively defensively when they traded jalen ramsey and when the the houston lost JJ watt to the season ending injury that's really hurt their defensive they're not the same all all i know is is what i see based on two games which is not enough i think a lot looks really good any of us could do that though i'm the reason i'm asking you a question i'm not trying this this is the reason i bring all of this up okay sean payton was frustrated and told radio station new orleans that he went to a whole foods and he's like the guy in the meat section it's just burying me about my two point conversion call and sean payton said to the guy and this should be on t shirts worry about your meat oh boy worry worry about your meat is what he said very quo the guy these people know so much more than we do about everything there watching every reporter that you hear talking today on television breaking down the patriots salary or scandal all of those guys don't actually know what advantages vantage would come from what specifically the patriots are accused of because the patriot clearly know a lot of stuff that they do that other people don't know right and so they are way out in front and belichick dylan those press conferences board because everyone asking him a question is appreciably dumber than he is about what it is that he's watching until i'm asking you how do i know when drew lock is good like anybody can say after these first two games a surprising he looks good but how do i know when he's actually good and if elway who's supposed to know quarterbacks it's failed on every quarterback and just stumbled into this guy at the end when he crushes the onto open parlays good i mean elway like you say doesn't know and of john elway doesn't know how can we possibly know nobody knows but you you know you you sign enough quarterbacks and you try different quarterbacks sooner or later your gonna hit on i don't know how to do this for seven years he never looked like he's looked the last six weeks nick fantastic measurable timeout has he outplayed philip rivers and he outplayed to shawn watson and you're still asking questions and that's fair it's only been two gates this but all this this week he goes to kansas city and they play patrick mahomes if he outplays mahomes and they beat the chiefs that's how you know that's how you to be patty mahomes on the road kansas kansas city that's how you know let's go my private jet you ain't going to fuel itself i'm just exasperated by the inability of anyone anyone to do the measurement anyone i understand but when did you know what patrick mahomes like you did pretty quick when did you mark jackson just lamar jackson none of us knew until this year none of us until this year but you've got the bill polian out here saying he shouldn't be playing quarterback like nobody knows i mean it's it's beyond nobody knowing anything look we're all idiots we do not know how to evaluate that position all of us are idiots all of us but does that mean we're not allowed to be impressed by drew lock i'm not saying you're wrong greg i'm just saying you said flatly he's good and i'm like do you know one answer unravel because you don't know because none of us know right very passionate the outfit i want something to go viral as i'm dressing in the hat angry duck.

"Her connections and everything else you'd imagine they'd love to she did that campaign is a three year old and some of you know haven't had a having being going much earlier in the season you know she went to the king george george here oaks unpack them and producer peak performance and they are so so accounts if everything's while i can't imagine why they wouldn't do it again and she had seven starts is a three year old is well so it's not like she found out was it doesn't get talked enough about that was one of the most epic three year old phillies campaigns of recent times that was unbelievable stoning go see the stars asks the goal from april all the way through its women are am i know she was eight months but she wouldn't mind nationalism some effort yeah and shutter speed where're you know shutter speed that that form form turned on it said very quickly very sick if you if you're into it that day with all my god that happened oh my god a so i look she beat carnot by five links and yorkshire oaks considering the corner still on the go and winning group once i get it's it does say an awful lot of butter 'em do you genuinely think kept the age being the factor for accountability that he will try if things are okay with her keep going and come bach possibly for another another go round next year and i don't see why not put her back in training that'd be guided by john god's them's she seems to be showing on and you know john gods and you don't specifically talks about just how enthusiastic she is above what she does everyday and if she's giving underwrite signs she'd gone why not why not have a have a crack you know the the cadillac dealer made well was the most sporting decision a probably one of sporting decisions in the history of race and they bring franco back as a four year old there's very very few owners would have done that i am so he's capable of making such a decision and i think it would be a lot easier to bring enabled back as a six year old was the bring franco lacks a four year given her constitution just how bomb proof she is and the fact that she's a mayor i i think it would be an easy decision release a you know is speaking to us i thought i was hoping and thinking it might be an easy decision to bring her back to the five year old so hopefully it'll be thinking along the same lines again again weary of getting too far ahead of myself in this game but i think if if we hopefully get there in a in six months time that's the best might be the way the league see most people would say again again we have to have the calculation does if she wins three are most of us would go nick fantastic retire her happy retirement kevin bit more we won the race hard she loves she loves the game as she comes back against so hot you sit legends you can't take away anything she's been beaten before if she came back and i wasn't quite herself wouldn't bother me personally i wouldn't affect her legacy one best but if she were to come back and then continuing group wants at six am at that stage one would imagine she would have absolutely worldwide superstar status and it would be incredible radio well here's an interesting point i think john mona quite alive to be need the horse racing to and try and put itself in the limelight that that quite the a forward thinking brand which her up an old school reader operation it quite it's quite unusual innocence and i think they will be aware of the fact that if they say enable but when the king george wanna york one us at uc suddenly there will be a degree of public consciousness around the hot and being the two.

"Any final pieces of wisdom advice things. You've learned I- stories. You wanted to cover before we get out of here. Yeah. Just just wrap it up like to just really like hit that may on the hammer is like life is all perspective guys. Just like, it's the way you look at it. And you can either look at it through a negative leads. You could focus on the negative. You can focus on your weaknesses like an net stuff doesn't empower you. It's it's it's literally all about focusing on the good focusing on what you're good at. And also, you know, being being brutally honest with yourself on what you're what you're strikes are. What your weaknesses are in think that's super important superpower in because you know, what you're good at. And you know, what you need to delegate at and an end to drop your ego and realize that some things you're not good at and and if you don't have the time to learn that it's okay to delegate and have someone else. Do it that is you know, has has strengths in that field because time is valuable time is super valuable or always trying to system is things. Right. And make things, you know, self sufficient in. And you know, build our our horizontal income. So we're making money while we sleep. Well, there's some things that you your. That's not your strikes. You know, there's some things that were not good at. So it's go ahead. And you know job that eagle in start delegating. So you have more time to focus on your strengths. And you know in every situation we have that choice. It's like it's like life. We could focus on the negative. We can focus on the power of the positive in in the disempowering meeting and the impairing meeting. It's just like it's like, what's it gonna be? And so once people look through life in in that lens of like, you know, the world's happening for me, not to me and all these events by life in the future. Now in the president like I'm going to learn from them, and I don't lose only win or alert as powerful drops the Mike love it. All right, dude. This has been fantastic. So thank you so much for this today. I think I think our audience is gonna love here in this. So again, y'all check out the book it's called victim to Victor correct victim to Victor by Nick at victim mentality. How to overcome? Man. I love it. All right, Nick, Santa The. stuff. Fan. Right. I did. I did the hand. Do. Thanks so much. You know, keep in touch you? Gotta brother grateful for that paternity. Thank you. Thank you. Great job in. All right. And that was our interview with Nick SaaS Santana stuff. So and I get it. Yeah. That's pretty good. Thanks. Yeah. I stumbled there for a second. But that Nick fantastic, dude. I love the mindset I love the conversation that like all reality is based on how we perceive things in a lot of cases. I mean, like like we get angry at a person or we get sad because of a deal. It's all how we feel right? It's we change we define our reality. In a lot of ways. And I just a good reminder that despite challenges despite being born, you know, with re of his four limbs missing the guys, overcoming all sorts of odd. Just doing awesome stuff. So. Yeah. Very cool. Yeah, I'm grateful. We have people like Nick because he just reinforces that idea. Just like Dirac said like people like us, you drop us in any situation. We will adapt and overcome in. We will dominate in that area and. Anybody can have that mindset, right? It's your physical body is placed zero role in your success. It is all about your mindset, and his comment that the biggest disability is a bad mindset was all. Oh, yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. I wrote that down. I'll like that's really good. Yeah. I wanna make some Instagram quotes cards for that though. Yeah. Speaking of Instagram, make sure you're following bigger pockets over on Instagram at bigger pockets and make sure you follow David Greene over there at David Greene, twenty four and at beardie, Brandon.
