Fresh update on "moore" discussed on GSMC Basketball Podcast

"See podcast network. My last segment. I talked about why it's not really a surprise. That joel embiid is the. Mvp front runner this year after all the adversity. He's gone through to get to this point so we think about joel. Embiid is actually not really as much surprises. People think and when i researched it it actually really confirmed a little bit more about how great basketball stories of motivation really are on this next segment though. I'm gonna breakdown. Villanova point guard congo espy tearing his mc l. in a win over creighton and the impact that had against providence yesterday for villanova and what i think that impact is going to have going forward for villanova also check out later to my show as a breakdown by top five and the candidates. That'll be awesome but getting back to lesbian jewelry. I think it's pretty terrible. What happened to him. Obviously and mc l. injury is no joke that say very serious injury and for a guy who's been durable reliable a great leader a great player at villanova. That's really tough. And i feel for him and his family the of that team. That's just a tough situation. How the injury happened. Was he got tangled. up with. crayton's damian jefferson win. jefferson was trying to score on him. The post and villanova ended up winning that game. Seventy two to sixty after creighton came back and made a nice little ron and jay right to scott described it as he stated. We are all devastated. Colin and he said that colin is the heart and soul of our program which makes a lot of sense. I mean when you know the guy who's been there for the twenty eighteen national championship team as a key bench guy to guy who's gotten better each year and become a really good leader for this team. It's obviously very devastating. It's very devastating and also more devastating for him is the fact that he was a top five candidate for the bob cousy award which honors the nation's best point guards ads because he has the best assist to turnover ratio in the big east. Conference is because of the fact that he hits game timely shots and he's a gamer big games. He shows up the play. Hits big shots to quell certain runs by certain teams. He's also a a very assertive leader. A guy who's done a really good job of helping the younger guys developed like jeremiah. Robinson earl like a justin moore. Why colts sweater. Who knows junior. Eric dixon freshman all this guy now. Brian antoine who just came back from ninja recently and his statistics actually are pretty good but again people would say oh. How is this guy. Bob cousy award member with these stats. He's only averaging fourteen points five assists and three point three rebounds but is assist rate of twenty five point seven percent. And that's the best on his team and like i said he has a three point o. Assist to turnover ratio which means he takes care of the basketball which is what j. right values in his system at villanova law ball movement. Smart plays good. Footwork pump baking comey. Jump stops kicking out three point. Shooting villanova does value is a fact of being able to be somewhat. Dependable is important for them and the number one the biggies torment. They clinched that with a win over. Creighton pass wednesday. But they aren't going to be the same team heading in. They just lost. Justin moore yesterday to a sprained ankle. So hopefully he'll be back that big east game but yesterday was not a very good game for them. They lost fifty four to fifty to providence after making an incredible comeback in the second half. They're not thirty to twenty one and a half and came back and lost fifty four to fifty two so their defense was phenomenal yesterday but their offense was obviously very out of sync without calling. Gillespie there and justin moore for much of the game now. The projected as a three seed possibly could be a foresee depending on how to do in the biggest tournament. But i'm a breakdown. Kind of how the providence game definitely opened up some holes that i think filled when he was there and i think the fact is having just a more not to play much of the game to you have to take into account because it's not j. right and people are going to start blaming jay wright and jay wright knows what he's doing he knows how to get the system correctly he knows how to get guys into position to be successful. Wise one of the best coaches in the country. But when you're used to running the offense with congo be very good ball or a very smart player and then justin moore another guy. Who's really good ball handlers. Smart player then. You have to rely on a guy who hasn't played a ton of minutes this year in chris. Archdeacon o. rien. Rt teac knows brother who is a great player villanova. It's tough because look. Chris did a good job yesterday. he came in played. Twenty five minutes generally turn the ball over. Gaza assists got some rebounds. Randy off effective. But i just isn't the same obviously and and with glaspie to he's a guy that's going to die for a loose ball. Get a timely rebound. Get a steal when you need him to make a big three that's kind of what he brings. As as guy who's a ferret number one great player and number two a guy who's been through the ranks at villanova been through the tough times and always kind of found a way to make it work and it's tough when you put younger underclassmen in that situation. Asked them to be what he is. Because it's just hard for anyone to be left way. Before i honestly thought was going to be a very good team. I thought that they're a younger team. You know they had some experience. So i thought that they were going to definitely hit bumps in the road.

UFC Fight Night: Derrick Lewis demolishes Curtis Blaydes

"Let's go right into this thing. Let us discuss the heavyweight division in the ufc because it was on full display last week. It'll be on display this weekend as well and next month with the title on the line but let's focus on ufc vegas nineteen and derek lewis's incredible ferocious and absolutely vicious knockout of curtis blades. In the main event after a really strong opening round from curtis blades lewis delivers one of the nastiest knockout. You will ever see in the second round coming through with the biggest main event upset in the. Us's michael bisbee became. The ufc middleweight champion. A you have c. One ninety nine knocking out. Luke rocco network going to begin with you kind sir. Nice and easy your reaction to a massive win for derek lewis less than a week ago surprise. Surprise i guess is where i would start out. I picked curtis blades. I thought he would be able to at least take down. Derek lewis enough to win the fight and lo and behold. He didn't take him down at all. So that was probably actually the biggest surprise about the fight What wasn't surprising. That derek lewis after being down in the first round after losing that second round blades was doing really well on the feet. And then derek lewis just did what they're glues does. Big are uppercut. Is the fight so relatively shocking shocking result in the sense that derek one. I was fairly confident that blades. Who get it done. But not so not so surprising that derek lewis got another highlight reel nocco assay. We kind of got your instant reaction after the fight on saturday on the post by now you've talked about on the side but now they've had some time to let it all sink in and spoken about it on on different platforms. How big was this win. For derek lewis in the in the grand scheme of things that heavyweight. I mean anytime you win in the top five especially when the heavyweight title is only is within less than a month of your big victory. It's a big thing. I just think. Derek lewis is one of those fighters that he said it himself like the title is great but he's fighting for that paycheck. You got the bonus. You got bulbs paychecks. He's back taxes. Which is obviously still reeling from the massive blizzard. So i'm sure he's going to do great things with that. We saw what he did when the hurricane happened. Driving around saving people so For a normal fighter getting this big win on a big platform so close to not just the title fight probably another a contender fight with jazzy. No rose straight and cyril gone. They're going to be like. Oh this is great for my career. I'm looking at it from the perspective of derek. Lewis wear awesome. I got both of my paychecks and fifty thousand dollars more so yeah massive night for the black beast again. Prize fighters derek lewis through to be one of the most reliable prize fighters on the ufc roster. So yeah ten attempt forms across the board from the heavyweight contender to sort of build upon that jose. Is it time to look at derek. Lewis is not just a fun prizefighter but a serious threat to the title. It's not like he wasn't before but people always view. Derek is this you know fun. Follow on social media this hilarious guy this quote machine who can land knock on at any point of a fight as watch the sport at all outside of his fight weeks doesn't really care about titles but it seems like he's putting together now i know he's added some pieces to his team. You saw lauren. Murphy's husband joe in his corner who's excellent jujitsu coach in practitioner. His own right time to stop looking. Derek lewis as the funny guy with the with the best social media. Game outside of darren taylor. Moore is a legit threat to st bay francis and gado john jones. Whoever is in this division. I would say derek lewis has already the best twitter follow third. Darren tools jason lewis at this point. Because derek lewis is winning fighting and being funny darren till is only doing one of those things. So i i would say derek lows. Of course you have been taken seriously if he touches your jaw you have to take him seriously because you're probably not going to remember when after the referee pulls him off of you so i don't know the answer to this because we haven't seen we don't know we don't know that's like saying oh francis in who is putting together all of these this team to make him a complete fire. All of his fights are like less than two minutes long. So we just don't know for all we know. Derek lewis is the best gogo planet practitioner. It all of the ufc. We're just never going to see it because at the second touches you you die. So if you fight someone like steep bay That is obviously a master game. Planner i think that's better. That's that'll be a better gauge of derek. lewis skills. because we've seen him fight dan mccormick. Who is the definition of a complete mixed martial arts and that wasn't a great night for derek lewis. Yes he took that on like Real short notice to only a month after he got that beatdown he did win. Let's not forget volkov. Put it on their clothes until again. Derek lewis touched his jaw and killed a man on live television. So yeah i don't know. Tb all say. I know that's a cop out. But i don't think anyone knows i think everyone will agree with.

"Back to Texas. They are not used to New England Weathersby long shot. Certainly we found out their power grid isn't either. This has been the fourth day without power for hundreds of thousands of Texans. Lot of pipes have burst. They froze, they burst. Now there are water issues and even water shortages. How Do You Know When God Is Calling You

"God speaks something to your heart as crazy as it may sound you believe it right at least you think about believing it. Sometimes it doesn't take the other side of your brain long to talk you out of it but deep down inside you can't get rid of it. A lot of people wanna know how. How do i know if god is calling me. Well i jotted down three quick little ways number one. If god's calling you to do something you're going to have passion to do it. An unreasonable passion. It may not make sense to everybody else. But you can't get rid of it from the day that god spoke to my heart. I have wanted more than anything else in the world to teach his word. When god speaks to you about something that he wants you to do. It's gonna be on your mind you're going to think about it. You're going to think about it a lot. You pray about it and the other thing and this is a big thing is when god put something on your heart. He wants you to do. You will sacrifice anything to get it in like the sacrifice moore much sacrifice. Jesus sacrificed the knee. The apostles sacrifice. Jesus said follow me and they just walked off from their jobs and their businesses and okay followed them. I quit a fulltime job. Making good money so i could stay home and study for this ministry that i thought god topics that i was gonna have. Which at that. Time was a handful of people that i was teaching in my living room for. You will sacrifice you will do things that other people don't seem to make any sense at all and half the time you'll think you're crazy yourself. People always want to know. How do i know. If it's god you know i just think really one god speaks to you. You just know you just know. Because here's the thing when god calls you to do something he gives you the faith to do

"And i am michael moore. This has been Twenty four hours of of american history. I think that this is one of these twenty four hours then. We'll be talked about in the years decades and even longer to come because something something took place in wasn't just that it took place yesterday because it's been building for some time So when i hear people say that they were surprised. I'm like really Shocked i get because because they keep referring to the war of eighteen twelve when the british Storm the The capitol building but they were british. You know how it was their job. There was a work. The building has never ever been attacked by americans. never have. We seen what happened yesterday. So let's leave the british out of it. You know by the way they the main thing to remember about the war of eighteen twelve in the bridges they burn down the white house and and the sort of ironic sense of humor that the british have always seemed to have where they decided once. They captured the white house. You won't be really cool because you know. The british had eliminated slavery around eighteen thirty. So why don't we go across the potomac into virginia go to a plantation attack. It free the slaves and ask any of them if they would like to come back across the river down the white house and.

I believe you. And i can work together on this one project this one project and when we pull through this ran on the other. We're on the other end of this. You know i'll i'll protect. I will stand up for your rights to worship the way you want to worship to to have your kids in the schools. You want them to be in i. I don't know what is it that i can do here. Send me an email. The address is here on the site. I'll read. I'll read what you say. If you got a couple of good ideas. And i can do it. I'll do it for you. Listen listen you hear what i'm saying here. I'm at the point now. Where i would literally do anything if i could to convince you to help me get rid of this virus to make twenty twenty one the last year of covid nineteen and to stop with this foolish political thing that you and i have going right now because there's nothing political about it got president. There's gonna be a new way of doing things in the meantime. You wanna live long enough so that you can vote against him in for years. Get some guts get some resolve. Hold my hand out to you. Can you meet me halfway. can you hold yours out. Would you please put a mask on. I bump elbows here. Stay and keep our distance. It's a pretty long elbows areas. But that's all i wanted to say today. I'm hoping that that somebody who'd already heard this. Podcast was somehow got the word you'd at least give this one a shot. You would hear that. I care about you and i want to live. I want your family to live. And i want you to get in the ring with me when this is over and we'll have that we'll have the great political debate in the idea that has the support of the majority of the people win and while the majority rains. Make sure that we protect the rights of the new minority. I think you have all of our commitment to that. Nobody's gloating over this. But i can't have seventy-three million of you not wearing a mask. There's no way out of this and you can't have eighty million plus us setting things up in a way that you're not gonna like it but you had no say because you're in hospital bed that's it. Please accept my offering peace my belief that you are good and decent soul that you are my fellow american and maybe i just want if i just wanna feel good that three years from now five years from now you'll run into me on the street and you'll damn heard that podcast of yours me. You want him to wear a mask in return. You do something to help me. So i thought i'd try it for a week. That was the week that that my brother who wouldn't wear a mask came down with covid. And i'm just about ready to kick your ass bike and i'll be like okay dude. I'm like three years older now. You know i used to be very all jujitsu and everything but not I'm not there right now. So please no kicking of my ass just to get involved politically from the things you believe in defeat me that way. okay. I'm glad you're alive brother. That's it three years before the next election you're alive. You're organizing people to vote the way you want them to. Who doesn't that sound better than standing up for principle that isn't even a principal on the wearing a mask. Oh my god please. It's too great of a risk, my friends. Aren't says our democracy at stake we didn't even have a full democracy. So I want. To I want that chance in my lifetime. and. So it won't happen if we let trump have another four years. That's just that's just a frigging truth you know it. In that doesn't take anything away from. What our concerns and criticisms are. We can to have that fight but first, we have to live another day to have that we don't get the other day. If. We still have trump in the White House. When you much rather be playing offense. US The squad. All the good people playing offense with against by the Democrats whatever. But they're in there it's not a pipe dream think that we can move that ball further down the feel like I'm gonNA run out of sports analogies here. But I just want to tell you that right now you've got one job to do. One job this week. Our underwriter for today's episode of Rumble with Michael Moore is express fee and you've heard me talk about them before they're one of our longtime Centers now here in rumble, express VPN a sense virtual, PP uncensored virtual private network, and the so it protects your security and privacy when you are online. Now, some people asked me Mike, how why do I need a VPN to protect me Well. Let me explain it this way when you use the bathroom, you always close the door behind you right now why do you do that? That's because you don't want to let people again on you. When you're in there. It's because you're paranoid. It's not because of anything just because you want your privacy. So would you let people look in on you when you go online? Using the Internet Without Express VPN, it's like going to the bathroom and that closing the door and I believe I am the first person ever in any underwriting spot to suggest such an image but it's the truth. It's the truth. It's just our privacy. How much of our privacy do we have left? Every time every week every month it seems like. Were being stripped more and more of just our basic our basic privacy that was so important to the founders of this country, they put in the fourth amendment. You know the First Amendment. You know what that all those things about free speech and the press and religion the Second Amendment you know what that was, and then there's the third amendment which have no that wasn't in the fourth the was your privacy. They didn't have computers and things back then so they didn't need an express VPN, but this is what we need. Now this is the time we live in. It's a good thing to have. I mean, how many do you knew that your Internet service provider? You know places like comcast and verizon. How many know that? They know every single website that you visited and what's worse is that they can sell this information to add companies and tech giant's who will then use your data and target you. Well Express VPN puts a stop to this. And the best part is using express VPN. It's as easy as if I may return to my analogy closing the bathroom door, you just fire up the APP Click, one button and boom you're protected if you want your online activity to be your. Business. Secure yourself by visiting express VPN dot com slash rumble. Okay. Don't forget the the rumble part on this. Right you go to express VPN that's Xpress I'll spell it out for you e- X.. P. E. S., S.. "The Washington and coming and write a huge check for New York or Illinois, or Michigan or Pennsylvania so you know you're responsible for your own Faith is my mom, my dear old mother. Salt where you say you made your bed. Lie on it. Okay, but Steve Steve Moore, the great economist, but Let's say we don't write a check. No, we don't pay. The bills have governor Cuomo tax revenue dropped sixty eight percent in the last month. They were already hopelessly in debt. How if if they don't get a check? How can they recover? What can they do? First of all New York has to start laying, you know they have to start renegotiating somebody's union contracts new. York has to do something about the pension funds that are unpayable. They have to start of being. You know only essential services should be you know provided by non essential services. New, York and mark. You know that anybody about the crazy way in New York City and New York state spend money. Stop spending money. You don't have I mean this is where. This is what households have to do right? We're all suffering reduction of income. My income is going to be about sixty percent this year. I, that means you know what I can't spend as much money, but that never happens in government. Or is the other problem governors do we'll do this? And Cuomo, already did it. They'll start. They'll hold hostage cops and firemen CUOMO. Screaming the other day. I'll have to fire the cops in the farm. Of course, that's insane. That's the last thing you need to fire. But what are we doing? They start pulling that crap out that that is so outrageous. It is reprehensible that this is exactly what governor newsome set in California said well. If we don't get a big test from Washington, we're going to have you know fire, the first responders and the medical personnel, and and we're GONNA have to. Fire the police and fire service. That's ridiculous. That's the most important function of government. Why don't you go after the waste? And by the way there's great great study I want everyone listening to the show. Go to a website I. Know if you've seen it. markets called a open. The books dot com, and they have a new study showing billions and billions of dollars that are wasted on crazy projects that do not have anything in the public interest. Why don't why doesn't Cuomo why those the mayor? De Blasio. Why don't they start by cutting those programs? Yeah no I've seen that and there they can. They can total up whatever he wants. Six billion they can total that up those programs from the solar panels to this green thing. He was gone and also open up fracking. That'll pay the bills pretty fast, too. Great idea are your. That's your best idea of the week. I love that you know New York is a as an energy rich date, and you think about all the hundreds of millions of dollars that you could be raising in terms of royalties and leasing fees, and so on, and by the way they're doing in Pennsylvania. You know they're doing it in Ohio, it's the same big rich natural gas field..

"O. R.. Well, Steve Moore is one of the greatest economists in America, actually the best Larry cudlow Steve Moore Art Laffer. They advise the President Steve Moore's written. Some of the olive written a great book called trump. A. Nominee should get. You can go to heritage dot org and read see more. There make sure you follow me on twitter and all that Steve Moore. How you doing? Hey, mark my hanging in there I'm feeling better about things I know in new. York City things aren't going quite as plan, but you know we have now about almost thirty states that are open for business, and if looks like there may be a light at the end of this tunnel, but I'm concerned. About the great. Manhattan and New York. City I'm concerned about my homes Hometown of Chicago which is still like a ghost town and some great cities like on the West Coast like San Francisco San. Francisco and Los Angeles are also close. That's going to hamper. The recovery. Barclay gotta get Manhattan opened again gotta get. Chicago Open we've got to get these great cities that are so important to the national economy open, or if they don't open soon and these businesses are not coming back mark. Gift Chicago Credit. They put out guidelines yesterday for every business how to reopen very detailed. Manhattan de Blasios seems to be a mess. No plan no anything yet. No date, not I mean just drifting without a plan But how how do we get it back open and make first of all the biggest problem in Manhattan are the subways that seems to be the biggest spreader so I don't know how I'd get everybody work but an. What businesses do when they can't, you know people are afraid to come in. How do they handle that? So what's going on here first of all, there's an important lesson that's going on for the people in new. York what's happening now in states like Florida and states like Georgia and states like South Carolina, in states like Texas and Tennessee that are open for business. They've been open for three or four weeks. Now Mark and guess what you know. This is a shocking headline, but it happens to be true. Those states that are opening up their economy, letting people go outside, but I think people you know. Get back to normal activities. They're actually seeing a big decline and their death rates and a decline in their in their. Their hospitalization rates so that as Cuomo said earlier this week or last week I sometimes I get confused about how much time has gone by, but he said look, we don't. We don't know what we're doing. The sciences has been all along about corona virus, and a lot of the studies that that really forced the shutdown in the first place have been wrong so I think what here's. My proposed are why they Andrew Cuomo invite Rhonda Santa's the the Governor of Florida to come to New York and explain how he was able to open up..

"That. We can get to the hospital that if we end up at the hospital that they will try to save our lives every person who played a role in this. When we're through this has to be rewarded in all sorts of ways. But we can start today as I'm sure some of you have just Expressing our love our absolute love and devotion to them for helping for struggling so that we could have time those of us who get to sit at home and think about how we're going to fix this world we can fix this world. We owe it to the people who have had that struggle and that suffering. We owe it to those who've died everyone who has died so far. Let Their deaths not be in vain? Let's two years five years down the road. Look back and say it was awful that we lost this beloved person. This family member this friend of ours. This neighbor down the hall but then we picked up. We picked ourselves up and we picked up the Mantle. And we said we're going to create a better world in their name so that when we when we have the things we have and we live the way that we want to be living and we're treating each other the way we should be treating each other we can say this all began out of a massive a massive death and despair but instead of singing instead of wallowing in a instead of building. False memorials to it. The Living Memorial was that we all got off her ass and we got busy and we fixed it and we the people literally became we the people. Maybe we wouldn't have done that. Had you not died or you had not died or you or you or you. Your deaths were not in vain. You know we're going growing up going to Catholic school. Good Friday. They tell the story of Jesus being nailed to the Cross and hanging there for three hours until he passed away and the his is seven last words or seven last things that he said that are recorded. And it's it's your little kid and you're there reading this. The alternates pretty frightening thing. Because it's clear the guy hanging on the cross didn't WanNa die that he was in such pain with the nails through his hands and that that's how he's being propped up on that cross the nails in his hands and his feet in however. I'll say whatever else they did to him and he's going through the most awful pain and begging God to take this away. Take this job away from me. Please don't let me go like this. He says his last words to his mother. He asks his friend to take care of his mother in that moment. He's not a believer in whatever. The thing is that he's supposed to be the son of God the afterlife all this other stuff. He's just wanting to live and he's not going to live. He is in a slow death and three three days less than three days later. He rises from the dead. The resurrection and the story has this happy ending. I'm not being sarcastic. I'm just saying folks. We can have that happy ending in spite of all the death and destruction that we're having to go through right now instead of being paralyzed with fear and terror because anyone of us myself you any one of US could be next. Many of us will be next. If it's me I don't want to have lived and died in vain for no frigging reason and if it happens to you. I don't want that to happen to you. I don't want you to be forgotten. I don't want this moment to be forgotten. I want to do something. The majority of people did not have to die. Had We all done this differently? Had We had our unelected leadership doing its job. None of this. None of the tragedy Sir are about to occur. None of those half to happen. So that's my commitment to you to you to your loved ones to anybody that you know that has passed away during this that will pass away. I will not let this be forgotten. I will not let them have died for no reason whatsoever. I will look back with you in a few years. Not long and we will feel a sense of pride in some ways that that we rose to the occasion that we did not just let this happen and ignore it that we did not just when we didn't have to stay at home in November that we didn't stay at home or if we are at home we have fought for to make sure that our voice gets the legally be heard. I'm GonNa do this I'm going to do. I'm I'm asking you to join with me. I'll join with you. You can ask me. We none of us. We don't have to take this anymore. This is it this is it. I've seen enough. I really seen enough and I with you. We will resurrect this this country this world this planet to be something better than what it's been and I can already see it I can. I can hardly you can already see it because I already see. The evil doers are already trying to do it. trump yesterday making the pronouncement. That Young People. You do not have to pay your student loan. That's for the next six months. Wow Okay so really see. This is what they're all admitting with all the things they're saying. If you don't have to pay your student loan debt now or for six months. How buffer the six months after that or six years? Why are we even forcing our young people into this virtual debtor's prison it's wrong we know it's wrong and when the back is against the wall what do even the bad people say People you don't have to pay your mortgage this month Landlords you can't pick people farmworkers. We hate you. We hate you. Illegals your essential. They're releasing nonviolent offenders out of the prisons they shouldn't have been there in the first place. Don't have come back and don't put anybody else in prison again unless they're you know. I don't even want to say this but because the concept of even prison is wrong. We're smart enough to be able to have a system set up to protect us from people who would do us harm. I get that. But when they're they're already releasing the so-called nonviolent offenders where were they in prison in the first place. You see what my point is. Is that that the people the haves the one percent who have benefited greatly at the expense of everybody else now realize that they can't quite keep it going. Even the moderate Democrat who's going to be the nominee for the highest office in the land felt like he had to do something this week so he's going to lower the free health care for all that we already have for Medicare for people sixty five or he wants that he's GonNa lower to sixty years old. I'm not laughing. That's a good thing. It's a step okay. So you see so. He even see we take by the hand. We help them see that. That's just not enough but you're in the right direction. You didn't raise the eligibility age from sixty five to seventy. You went the other way. Good for you now. I know you can do even more. They know they know their system is wrong. And they know that when we come out of this after having lost so many people after Gone through it. The essential workers who are not at home. Every we'RE NOT GONNA put up with US anymore and they know we're coming we're coming and that's a good thing. I hope everybody is enjoying this weekend. I hope you enjoy the day regardless of whatever you believe in I'm GONNA I'm going to in the In the immortal words of money Python Choose to look at this today and for the days after this differently. Join with me. Yeah you know where this is going. We're going to look on the bright side of life. That's right bill thank you everybody. Thank you hanging there. Let's do this. Look on rumble. "It's rumble and I'm Michael Moore. I've thought a lot over the last twenty four hours about what I would want to say today. I thought well I saw the picture there. The pope alone in Saint Peter's Square alone inside the church and I thought well maybe there's some Easter message. I'd I'd WanNa share with you and then I thought well you know. Hasn't Christianity really done enough harm to this world not not the beliefs that the ideas but the organized religion was actually. I sat down with a piece of paper and tried to figure out of all the organized religions which one has over time resulted in the deaths of how many millions of people in other words the The particular side was fighting on behalf of either their religion or because their religion told them to or because their their religion their religion was the best religion and everybody else was a heathen. I don't know how how I don't know exactly how you quantify this over a period of centuries but let's just. Let's just admit that the Christians of a made their mark on this planet. And of course that's not to say that the other religions haven't caused immense pain and suffering also. Except if you read their books you you see that the the things that they say they believe in the values prescribed by the either the founders of their religion the the original board of directors whether it was just a a guy named Moses Jesus Buddha Mohammed down the line of it you know most of them seem to have their you know seem to have some pretty good ideas in terms of how we should live and how we should treat each other and and how we should be there for the porn. Those who are the have nots. But somehow when Noah The originators of these ideas are essentially gone the people who follow them and who claim to be followers of them use that religion to to create a lot of a lot of unnecessary or so Tie sort of struggled with this. Doing we say something today on this holy day for Christians the way I was raised Or do we or do we just like bag all that not bag the ideas not the not. Don't not dismiss the idea of love your neighbor as yourself. Love your enemy. Be there for those who have done home for those who are sick for those who are imprisoned. Oh no there's there's You read the Koran. You read them The Tommy read the Bible.

"In what used to be the guest bedroom apartment. I got a crack in the window. It's Kinda warm was Kinda warm yesterday. So that's when you hear coming through. They say it's GonNa get cold today tonight. It's not the only thing that's going to get my friends. Don't give up. I'm not giving up. I'll be here our. I'll be working on the next podcast. I'm I'M DOING. I'm doing a couple of important interviews today. with people that know what's going on We'll also talk about In the coming days what you can do just for just for your financial survival in terms of Making sure our political leaders issue eviction orders. Nobody can be evicted during this pandemic. Nobody can lose their home either during it or after it nobody loses anything near on that end. People need money right now and they need more than what's being proposed. They need to be protected. All of us all of you especially anybody. If you're like I said if you you're twenty four years old and in your slated by the Republicans to get nothing. No I'M GONNA try to catch a couple hours sleep. I really thank you for listening to this. And being part of this part of it. It's it's It's yes it's my podcast but isn't really it isn't it isn't i. I HAVE EVERY TIME. We make a documentary. I always tell the crew on the first day that remember that there's a crew member that's missing. Today we use the back in the old days. We used to throw a theater seat in the van on the equipment and everything just to remind all of us that the missing crew members you the audience the people that are GonNa see this movie. The movie's not really complete until the people see it and then react to it because if they don't see it or if they see it but don't react to it don't do something then. The point of making the film his useless. Why bother so? We need to make a really really good movie that will connect with people and inspire them to do something that remains. True with this podcast. The podcast isn't over until you when done listening to the podcast. Do something as a citizen of this great country and if you're listening in whatever country you're in around the world do something in your country because this is everywhere now. I know a lot of you. Listen to this. Don't have to worry about going to the doctor. The hospital and going broke as a result of it. God what is that? Like my fellow Americans. Were listening to this. Let's complete this episode of rumble. Let's complete it by you doing something today even if it's just online even if it's just on the phone scream bloody murder being the same kind of panic you'd be if the house was burning down one into of us are. GonNa get this. And Ninety five percent of us will live but the upwards of five percent that won't is a staggering number and every single one of those people that we know right now who seemed to be fine alive and well and then suddenly they're going if we save one of them are ten of them or thousand of them today because we acted today and didn't wait till Monday. Then maybe our conscience can be somewhat at ease. Yes No. I'm grateful to all of you listening. I wish I knew each and every one of you. I feel like I've gotten to know some of you from those of you who have responded to this but just rest assured if if I go for another two days you don't hear from me I'm okay really I am. I am so I feel like I need again. I got a lock on something quickly here because I don't see any would around me but But things are good. Things are good with me and I pray that they will be good when you. But I'm not a believer in just praying We have to act all of us. We have to finish this episode of the PODCAST. This can't go on forever even though the ones and Zeros will allow me to talk for the next two hours I gotta get to bed so I have some energy here for today So when I wake up in a couple of hours let me have a sense that you've done something. Thank you. Thank you and we'll talk again hopefully tomorrow here on rumble. I'm Michael Moore and I'm GONNA fight join me. Please.
