"Back at it. It's been. It's been three weeks. In three weeks in the hardest both. Of My life. On my knees Dr. Wondering. If I'd ever. Out of place to the light. I thought about quitting I, thought about putting the POD and not. Giving it up but I'm back and I want to thank everybody who in me except for Steve Allman for Kim. This is for you mom this is. This is for everybody. LEX category. I'm good with. I'm good with it. Yes. The easiest category to explain Jason, how do you feel about the state of bad idea. But who cares movies would you watch more of them? There'd be no. As you noted, there literally be no horror movies if people had the good sense to not go into the haunted house or open the their cursed chest or do any or take the spooky painting home or do any of the. Keeping me. Go with I'm I'm absolutely with it. I can't wait to see more what about you? Yeah. I'm I'm right there with you. This is one of my favorite versions of our favorite things that happens in a movie when they're just like fuck it we're GonNa do it anyway I love it I. Love it next category. The next categories are special acknowledgment. This is where Shane I pick some interesting detail that we wanNA highlight out of either movie shady I want. To that I want to get out there, I have to make sure that I mentioned my two favorite lines in Jurassic. Park and they don't come from any of the stars in the movie. One of them comes from Brian. T's character Brian who am I love we're going to talk more about this later but he has been in teenage mutant, Ninja, turtles shredder. He's He was in the Wolverine Decay in the fast and furious like this guy POPs up in a movie and I'm like that's my fucking dude right there. So this is like one of the only. One or two or a few lines. But this is one of his lines there stalking through this South American jungle or whatever it is on the reserve on the island they're looking for the dominance rex. He finds this chunk of flesh that the dominance rex's torn out of herself with the tracker on there he's looking at he's talking into the Mike said, hey, this is bad news drops of blood drip down onto his arm. It's never good when that happens he realizes the dominance REX's right there. He turns around to run away and he shouts out it can camouflage and then. Classes itsel and snatches him up and just. Quite frankly kills them really quickly but I think that this is my favorite example of of Man's planning that I've ever seen in a movie or his final words. He needs to tell you this thirty foot dinosaur that you just watch camouflage I need to tell you it can count. I love that movie again. Give You my second okay. Mine is so late in this movie Brad Pitt Tyler. Does the thing that happens in so many action movies. Throughout the years where the main guy. Is. Getting ready to do something really tougher is just taken like a punch or whatever, and they crack their neck and they move their neck. Yes, I have never. Cracked my neck like that. I've never done it. I've never seen anybody do it where they just moved their neck and it goes. And it's. Yeah have you ever does anybody here ever done I can do it. You can crack your do it right now. I don't know if you're going to hear it in the Mike Lindsay. Did you hear that you hear that at all? It did it. I always thought that was fake that people can crack their nets like it's like popping your fingers. I've never done it like prior to a fight. That's a whole different thing as a whole different thing I've not I've not done that I think you should work on that I think that should be like it's GonNa be my next thing in life we'll swap. Every connection contest madman you'd without. All right one more special acknowledged. This is my this is my second favorite line in the movie, and this is from my guy, Mizrahi the the owner of Jurassic. What a wild guy he is everything is falling apart they need to like transport helicopter they need to get from one part of the island to the other the person who flies this helicopter normally that he's been training with has. been cleared from the island as part of the evacuation path they ask him as they're walking to the helicopter who who's going to I we need to get somebody else and he turns around and he says, we don't need anyone else gets in the helicopter and he starts flying immediately crashes it and dies immediately like a meeting. Actually a great line right before that where he says, have you ever gone into battle with your general general, he's really failing. And then immediately kills those..

"Fame, so you mentioned lump before. That's another kind of collaboration. There is no Mike Lindsay. How does that work? Would you be contributing the same kinds of things in scenario or do you take on a different role when you were with Mike? I take on totally different role with Mike Mike Is. Truly eighty percent of lump. Percent Of. In that the first time we didn't know each other, and he had over the course of three years written this thirty six minute piece of music that had clear chapters in it, and he didn't know what to do with it, and then I went in on the first day. The I'd really met him properly. And we did cuss the contemporary, which was the first song and was on the first album, and then we did the rest in six days may six seven songs. And that's just from me. Sort of rambling nonsense lyrics over the top of the melodies that I could hear the music. And then together we sort of craft them into verse or a chorus, or you know, and he suddenly has a vision of how he wants my voice to do something over the top production-wise, so I'm used as an instrument I guess I'm used as a typewriter instrument. Is Such a pleasure. I can't tell you. After years of autonomy. I'm very happy to be used. By someone. I was GONNA say because on the Sankei of contemporary. Malady just goes all over the show. This next just really sounds like you feel kind of free on it. Yeah, well, that's I. Mean That's the contemporary was even more Mike. That climbing that really high note that struggled skept to live. Was Mike forcing me to do that can stand up against the wall. Take a deep breath. You can do it..

Took place just before a year before the band broke up Jackson saying that the fifty five hours never never before seen footage and forty hours of audio made available to me said ensure this movie will be the ultimate fly on the wall. Experience for beetle. Time machine transports is back to nineteen sixty nine. He says we'll get get to sit there in the studio watching these four friends make great music together. Speaking for myself, I can't wait to see that. By the way, for those fans intrigued by Lindsay Hogg's original film, apple confirming that his version will be released following the release of this new film. Jackson agreeing with McCartney original does not represent with actually was happening in the studio at the time that should be interesting. Great qatar. Relieved to discover the reality is very different than the men. And after reviewing all the footage in the audio. The Mike Lindsay Hong Chow eighteen months before they broke up at simply is an American amazing. Historical treasure, trove, cloudy. Thank God me to think.

Totally lost this bit. Welcome to the show that discusses wrestling with this Insperity end Larry that it is. I'm Howell Awin havoc. Lublin? That's wonderful. I'll take it. I'm joined today by my fellow members of the nation of conversation to be the Dan, you gotta beat the Danielle Radford might be my favorite. That's. The Scorpio sensation. Mike eagle? Okay. All right. And the calculation. I think my favorite thing is when we all start singing in the booth and Lindsey is like you guys. Go ahead. I just enjoy. It is all for you. Thank you. I'll take it. I nearly started singing that won't. Yeah. The restraint. Well, everyone sometimes wrestling is very very great. And we're all lucky enough to have one show reached that threshold this past weekend. Evolution Lindsay you were there. I have a question for you. Yes. Full house it from where I was I felt like a full house. I have seen stuff since it said it wasn't which I'm really surprised that because I was on the Holcombe side. But not on the Holcombe angle you like in the corner. Well, you can see a really good view of the whole arena. And all the way up it seemed pretty full. So if it was empty all it was behind us and directly behind the hard Cam. But it felt really full. And it was the greatest crowd of all time of seem like a fantastic audience. Yeah. I was lucky enough to attend the red carpet before. Of weird about because I was like, I don't know you guys feminism and is like you don't make everyone else. Dress up. I was like no I just want to Aspen who he's wearing. No don't be that. So it was on the red carpet, and I talked to MS marines and MS was so excited. They also had guy and he did interview her, and it was the door. That he was like it feels like mania to he's been backstage all day. Everyone's getting ready. Everyone's hugging everyone's excited. It's catching off it. Feels like mania is that we can't explain that to you until you see the show, and it was just seeing the people that you don't see there every time. Like, I knew a bunch of goals at went out from New York who had told divas fans there were a lot of guys in drags. There are a lot of Nikki Sasha drag. Credible full big lift a beard like giant bids. Full of glitter the full like little tiny panties baseball cap. It wasn't. I mean, maybe they would. But there were just a lot a lot of people that were multiple a huge favor. If you happen to see any of those instant or anything else. Yes. You want to us. Yes. Yeah. I talked to why and you were glitter beard, if you were please send us all of the things that we can re tweet you we love you that was one guy. And he was just I was like do you do this for every show, and he just left unsaid? Okay. That's why I felt so good because we felt everyone that feels uncomfortable a regular show. I think regular WWE show. I should say specifically felt like it was for them felt so awesome. I do want to just quickly bring it back because that moment is cheery. Of course. I know that moment when he's cheering for Oskar. Yeah. This will surprise no-one. I cried during the entire pay-per-view. But that was also one of those terms think. Maybe I should have talked to you that Thomas how you target. He was awesome. They tried to pull him off the red carpet, and I just like two seconds..

"Right i was thinking about what you said about songwriting and how sometimes you don't know what the song's about toll after the fact right and this project called lump that laura marling and and mike lindsay are doing in the way the songs came together reminds me of that idea where the go with your gut see what happens and then she would have feels like what tells you all that stuff that happens after the fact like lindsey is part of a band called tongue to you he wrote to say that this song i'm going to play called late to the flight was the first song they worked on together he says it happened three days after they met at a bowling alley where i asked laura that's the lead of the story that there are more i laura would be up for collaborating i had no idea that she would be free to drop by the studio that soon or what we might end up with he said i've been working on one piece of music included moga drones and whibley guitars and goes on describing the music and then he said once laura heard things came together so quickly so organically to the point that it was a bit scary she instantly started writing lyrics in her notebook there was no chat about themes or direction effect we just didn't really talk about anything throughout the entire process of making the album just pure sound into the brain and out onto the page for anyone who's a creator in any way shape performed be music or whatever that moment where things happen and then you look at it and you just want to come from and it's most one fulfilling on the planet the brain is always going to be doing its thing even if you think you haven't engaged your brain right it's it's like you're always trying to find some way to.

"It's an age old story the soldier is outside the girls window he's saying let me in it's cold hailey rainy night and she says you can't come in my parents are about well how will they manage their young love for young lost as the case may be just have to stay with us to find out because this is one of the old english folksongs arranged by the group called imagined village in this track featuring eliza carthy daughter of the great folksinger martin carthy and a group called the young copper family which is kind of heirs to an old family tradition of folk singing in england but this is obviously a very contemporary arrangement of the song cold hailey rainy night and represents actually one of the number of generations of english musicians taking the folk tradition and updating it with the sounds of rock that goes all the way back to the mid sixty s with bands like fair port convention and pentagonal i'm john shafer and on this edition of new sounds we will hear a sampling of some of the bands and artists who've over the years attempted to blend the traditional sounds of english folk music with something a bit more contemporary going all the way back to fair port convention but also hearing the anglo indian singer sheila chandra and to begin a song or two to actually from the band called tongue t u n g founded in london in two thousand four by sam genders who has since left the band but who is the singer that you'll hear and mike lindsay terrific producer and they wrote their own songs that had this kind of timeless old quality that sounded like they were arranging centuries old folk songs and then they would add things like you know surface noise to make it sound like an old lp and then lots of electronic sounds almost inevitably people started calling the band a folk tron ika act tongue would eventually morph into something a bit more mainstream but while they were doing this folk traffic stuff they put out a couple of really terrific records and we'll hear one from the album called comments of the inner chorus.
