"You see what happened to jay. Vance jd vance the author of hillbilly elegy the Appalachian raised kind of half appalachian. Half middletown ohio raised a young man. Who went on to become A yale law school. Nor i take that back. I think he went to yale. For as undergrad got his law degrade ohio state. Beg your pardon at anyway you'll jedi vance now. Senate candidate jd. Vance is one of the top senate candidates at least according to polls rising. He's got a lot of very powerful people behind him. Not a lot of which by the way or not all of which are full on full conservatives. he's got some silicon valley support but jd. Vance is a senate candidate to replace rob portman who is retiring and is not running for reelection here in the state of ohio again in which i reside so i will cast votes in this election. Jv vance's campaign account was suspended from twitter. Twitter is not now just censoring conservative individuals. Like you know the former president of the united states now. They're actually practicing. Election interference the campaign account for jd. Vance was suspended without any rhyme or reason offered. You just can't have a place on twitter anymore. They're still trying to find out why. To my knowledge they have not found out why. But it's an issue. It's a massive issue. Free speech the ability to communicate the ability to use modern tack. Everyone else's using modern tack in campaigning. All of that now is up in the air.

"Oh, December in January, So we're in the midst. If they're worth of such a thing as a fire season for indoor house fires. This is it. Why am I bringing this up? Ah, fire Sunday night at a one story ranch home in the Chapel Hill section of Middletown Township. Prompted a large emergency response. No reports of any injuries. Unfortunately, family Pet died, But 56 firefighters from four companies in the Middletown Township Fire Department responded. Brevin Park Community. Middletown, Number one and River Plaza Hose Fire Cos This is, according to firehouse dot com. Um and I saw some of the pictures and just devastating. Thank God it was only one house. I mean, that's a small solace to the people whose house it was, but I mean, it could have been worse Conflagration that that thing created was just nasty. The structure was unoccupied. The resident got out before the emergency responders got there. No firefighters were hurt. No civilians were injured, but still one big hell of a fire, so I wanted to talk to people who have survived that. Who's had a house fire and the did you lose everything? Because I was just terrifying 1 802 831 on 1.5. I mean, they talk about Maybe the fire not being the worst part, but the smoke damage or maybe the water damage from the sprinklers coming on, or the fire fighters hosing hoses. I just lose everything. And I don't know. I mean, I know people have insurance. But replacing every single thing you ever had. We seem like such a daunting task. That's exactly what happened to the house that I was staying in Florida earlier this year for laying down a house. Yeah, it was not me. I'm sorry. Explain the coincidence. So this was in early march of 2020. This is before Cove it I was in Florida. And we were staying at a friend of a friend's house and her whole family lived there and the it was very nice, not quite sprawling. But I was called a luxury home Okay in Florida in the Tampa area, and We stayed there. Everything was fine. We left the next morning to go to leave Tampa and drive down to Miami on while we're in the car. We start getting these phone calls from the girl whose house we stayed at, and she was like my house is gone. It's completely gone. It's the only thing left standing is the frame. Wow. And that was because At the time. They didn't know what it was, but ended up being that something had gone wrong with the heating or cooling system in the attic. Now the attic just so happen to be located. Or the city or the system that had malfunction was right above the room. That mean to my friends were saying, and you will never convince the family that you didn't have something to do with it. Well, no, they know for a fact it wasn't it. That's what they say. But I will never always wonder. I will never know. What would have happened, like if we didn't leave at that exact time, if we if we got there a different day, if we didn't wake up early, would we even be here right now? Because the fire was at its worst. In that room. And then it spread throughout the entire house, and they couldn't save it. So they ended up living. They lost everything. They ended up living in a hotel for about I think seven or eight months Oh, that's awful. And then who wants to live in a motel for seven months? And then as far as I know, they are in another house now, But the other thing, too, is if you experience something like that. And then you're in a new house. Aren't you constantly on edge that it's gonna happen again? I'm assuming I'm assuming if it were nice house, it had smoke detectors. Things like that. Well, this is a new warehouse to Yeah, well, I would say I mean, built in the last 25 years, That's new and It's never happened to me directly. But I just had this feeling that if I did experience a house fire, I would never be able to get over the just the chances of it happening again with how random it is how you could just lose everything. I'd be afraid of. It all happening one more time. So who's had to deal with that? Who's gone through a house fire? 1 802 83101.5. Were you able to save anything? Did you lose everything? And staying in a motel for that long. I hadn't even thought about that. But of course, what else you gonna do? Unless you have family to go stay with living out of the hotel for that farm over half a year while you're looking for another house or waiting for your house to be repaired to rebuild. I don't have to be terrible, which, by the way during Cove it too, So the all hotels and motels are operating and with weird guidelines and rules and stuff, so just adding more fuel to the fire for lack of a better term. Joe Joe, What do you think the number one cause of home fires is Number one cause of home fires. I. Space heaters? No, it's not space heaters. That is not, um cigarettes. Cigarettes are on the list, but it's not number one. Hmm. What involves heat and flames candles. Handles her on the list, but no fireplaces. No, come on. Um.

"Reports in Middletown, NewJersey. We're not cooperating with the contact tracers. Getting pushback from the parents, according to the New York Post. About 20 partygoers. Between the ages of 15 and 19 they believe were exposed. To the Corona virus at the House party back on July 11th. And the Health Department officials. They were getting pushback. They were getting resistance from the parents of the teams. The mayor of Middletown, New Jersey, said were asking him pleading with parents and students that may have attended this party. You're not in any trouble, but we want a break. The back of this infection. Help us. We need to know who you are. So we can contact trace and you get parents hear that air, Not cooperating. Like even that may be the parents of Ah, where the party was held. I don't know if they're worried because there was underage drinking going. Whatever the hell the deal is, I mean, come on. Uncooperative. You know, this happened in New York. There was a situation. It was either in Rockland County or Westchester County. Maybe a month ago, another event and the parents were not being cooperative. And the state stepped in. It was either the county and that matter in Rockland County, where I I grew up as a kid, and I was born Bayside, Queens, actually Bay Terrace. Right down the street from the Throgs Neck Bridge. And then we move that a Bayside, queens when I was three that we move to Nan you at New York and Rockland and then Virginia Beach, and then it was around the country and radio and then ended up in Florida for 25 years. Eso With the I think it was Rockland County. They threatened the families. They think Governor Cuomo when I got involved, and county authorities and they were going to impose like $1000 a day fines for the lack of cooperation than they fold that they caved and they were able to contact trace. I just don't know why people would not want to cooperate. Yeah, they're probably worried the figure to be punished. There's gonna be retaliation. There's going to be punitive measures because they were told to social distance. They didn't wasn't at that point. What happens is gonna happen. But the public health For the area. That's number one concern. Sides don't understand these selfish pricks. When they don't want to cooperate. I'll get it just Insane. What else do Oh, and let me wrap up with Dr Fauci here and then we'll move on to the latest Q and on stuff. So, Dr Fauci getting ah, whole lot of crap. For not wearing a mask at a moment while he was sitting in the stands at the Washington Nationals. Yankees game the season opener in D. C. After we throw out the first pitch. So ah! Play Chuck the truck of audio here. This is John Roberts from Fox asking Fauci about not wearing A mask again. It's a still shot. And again with a still shot. It's a fleeting moment. It could be just a couple of seconds and then he just take the mask down to grab a drink. Well, essentially, that's what he says. Then you get a picture snapped. And then everyone thinks that all he was at the game for the entire time without his mask on here's John Roberts Fox. I just want to bring up one thing quickly because this has become a mean on the Internet. There's a photo of you sitting in the stands. With two people. You're not wearing a mask and not social distance and we should point out one of those people is your wife. What about the other person? Other person, very close friend of mine and John. I understand. I think this is sort of mischievous with this thing going around. I had my mask around my chin. I had taken it down. I was totally dehydrated, and I was drinking water trying to re rehydrate myself. And by the way, I was negative Cove it literally the day before. So I guess people want to make a big of that. I wear a mask all the time. When I'm outside to pull it down to take some sips of water and put it back up again. I guess if people want to make something about that they can But to me, I think that's just Mr Yu, his Joan. So there you go again. It was just a snapshot and the friends sitting next to him was masked up. His wife sitting next to him had a mask on and he claimed he has amassed just down on his chin, and he claims that it was down for just a little bit while they took some water, and that's when the picture was snapped. And again. I have talked about this many times when you've got full motion video and you can see context of time. That's different than that. Just taking a snapshot, which is could be a fleeting frame. 1 250th of a 2nd 1/60 of a second, and that's it. Picture from a Nikon D five or as the D six shipped yet. Or AA cannon one day for some of these professional photographers with their phenomenal 2.8 lenses. Fleeting second, and you don't always get the full picture. And there's ah, Dr Fauci answering the question. I know the president got a bit of guff. For having Some kids at the White House. I guess a bunch of little leaguers were at the White House. On. This was yesterday and also the president was very close to all of these kids, and nobody was wearing a mask and they were playing ball again. The president's pushing masks. Now finally, I wish he had Much earlier because we might be in a little different position with people that are anti masters. If Trump would have worn a mask early on, and now again listen, don't don't Don't shoot me. Don't kick me in the crotch. Here's the president talking about wearing a mask now, and it's a patriotic thing to do. He's tweeting about it. But again, where would we be if the president was pushing masks back in March, April May June. Even the first part of July. Not anti Trump. It's just making an observation, which is 100% fair. Now I know that some are complaining. And all these kids next to the president and coaches, and nobody's wearing a mask that what kind of message should be sent? Maybe also, the young kids wear a mask. So, uh, ouchy with the mask and then Trump Without the mask and found she without the manse for a couple of seconds, according to him. The cure non latest here involving a median network Will wrap up the program with that, and I've got audio and we'll tell the story. Next on Schmidt. Who Is Strong?

"Just about everybody had one. Strong's exhaustive concordance of the Bible. Seem like you have a Bible and somewhere next to it. You would have strong's concordance. It was first published in eighteen ninety. It contains a numbering system for Hebrew and Greek words. And it has eight thousand, six, hundred, seventy four, Hebrew roots that are numbered and five thousand, five, hundred, twenty three Greek roots that are numbered. This is massive this work, this exhaustive concordance, showing where every word in the Bible could be found with its book, Chapter and verse. It is massive in this before computers before software programs, and before search engines, which means this work was all done by hand well, this same strong also served as editor of the massive ten volume. Cyclo Pedia a Biblical theological and ecclesiastical literature. It was published from eighteen, sixty seven through eighteen, eighty one. And if that's not enough this same strong, finally worked on a committee that produced the American Standard version of the Bible for thirty years. This committee labored from eighteen seventy one until the SV was published in nineteen o one. Charles Hodge was one of those editors Pantheon of scholars of the day one hundred and one editors all worked on the American Standard version, and one of those one hundred and one was the strong. So, who is he well? He is James Strong. He was born in New York City on August, fourteenth, eighteen, twenty, two. He died in New York in eighteen ninety four. He wanted to be a doctor when he was young, but he went off to Wesleyan University in Middletown Connecticut and there he studied Biblical languages among other things he was really layman, and he had a fascinating career. He organized a railroad company, and then built the flushing railroad in the eighteen fifties. It was later incorporated in his actually part of the the railroad subway system of the New York road today. He also served as a mayor of his hometown on Long Island. He taught for a while in Vermont. But his main career was at drew theological seminary, and there he was for twenty five years just prior to going to drew, he was the acting president of Troy University, and sometime in the eighteen fifties, he published an article that the Methodist Church should establish a seminary and the new. York vicinity to train ministers for the Gospel. He was mocked for that article. There were many who thought that you shouldn't train ministers that God just hand picked them, so they should be God trained, not man trained, but strong persistent, and he was soon joined by others and drew theological seminary opened. He was part of what was called the strong five who were among those five who started the seminary. The early president of the seminary was James mclintock. He knew strong back from their days when they were working on that ten volumes cyclope. That massive edited work that strong also served on so the two of them together set off with some other faculty to establish drew. One of his colleagues at drew, said this of James Strong. At night in the library, he worked like a plow horse, but in the lecture room he was a Colt. No one ever went to sleep in his class unless he wasn't bad. Health or an embassy saw well. That's what they thought of James Strong. He spent thirty five years working on the strong's exhaustive concordance. It was published in eighteen ninety. It became a standard text, and as I said just about everybody had a copy of strong's concordance. Well, that's who strong was and I'm Steve Nichols the thanks for joining us for five minutes in Church history.

"That are trying to take that next step into to grow. And then it's like it's more nerve racking than I think one time it's not as It's not as I sure as it used to be but So the taproom is in the plans at some point. Yeah we've we've had some. We've had bars retail to us our clients and they WANNA bring their staff in see where we're ruining or some beers for them and we also just had a hunter again that they have a community there called society which we're all part of basically hanging out drinking beer together bottle shares. Good Group of friends so he actually reached out to me about Possibly hosting part of that group One evening so there are plans to where we're at kind of start pouring beers possibly have events during the night through summer two because we have a pretty nice backyard. The brewery itself is tiny but the backyard is huge about possibly during the summer. Have people out like not taproom hours but after him days? We're going to be like every Friday first. Friday middletown is usually pretty crowded. So I tried in Middletown. We'd have like a one off variety random K. On tap hang out possibly extend the door up one block and then we can walk around with it during hands throw where. Where is the brewery located in Middletown? It is on first avenue right behind central. Pastry neighbors are white dog. Liquor is right for probably about three blocks away from rolling. No so you guys are right there and right by where the door is still as part of that downtown kind of revival area where things are happening so it is a good spot for a taproom timeframe. Start off with a question just starting out with the events the summering kind of going from there scene where we end up Based on that so how large those get in how quickly we're able to grow so that's kind of what we're basing on right. Now and the.
