"We didn't see a lot of Michael Thomas especially like over the middle those are usually when Sean Payton can game plan you to death and just find a match ups no album Camaro in the pass game really know Jared cook would like huge numbers so that tells me there is things being done to take away that short to intermediate pass game of the saints love and then as we saw for really the second playoffs in a row we were sitting there watching the game go and they can't really push the ball down the field they can't really back Minnesota off we accept with taste and health right we would see Minnesota DB sitting on everything I remember coach Dungy one point that they got a thought over their head I mean they're sitting on everything and it became a problem for
Graphic Epstein autopsy photos on '60 Minutes' show bloodied neck and noose
"It's time for a segment from last night sixty minutes broadcast on CBS convicted sex offender Jeffrey abstain has been accused of sexually assaulting countless teenage girls last July the wealthy financier was arrested in many of his victims were looking forward to finally facing him in court two weeks after his arrest abstain was found dead in his jail cell medical examiner concluded the Jeffrey Epstein killed himself since then conspiracy theories have flourished abstain was connected to a long list of rich and powerful people some suspect he was killed because of what he knew what he threatened to tell how did one of the most high profile inmates in the country end up dead in a federal jail after a five month investigation sixty minutes has obtained photos some of them graphic autopsy photos and evidence from inside Jeffrey obscene cell this is the cell were Jeffrey Epstein was found on Saturday morning August tenth two thousand nineteen there are dozens of photos taken by the medical examiner's office that day on the floor the mattress and piles of sheets several news is there appear to be fashion from the orange bed linens are laid out his medicines photographed but nobody is there a photograph of when he was found dead in the snow there's no photographs taken of Mr abstain in the cell Dr Michael Baden observed the four hour autopsy for Jeffrey abstains brother mark Bodleian a renowned forensic pathologists who's taking controversial positions over his decades long career is investigating at Steve's death for his client do you think there was foul play here the forensic evidence released so far clear happy point much more to murder and strangulation than the suicide and suicidal hanging I hesitate to make a final opinion until all the evidence is in people will say well you are being paid by mark absence of course you're gonna say that something suspicious is going on that's a reasonable thing for some people to think but our job is to find with the truth is just to find out whether the homicide or suicide where still haven't gotten all the information guards found abstinent approximately six thirty three AM and sources say one of them could be over heard saying breed that Steen brief I thought at the time doctor Baden believes based on the autopsy did abstain died around four thirty that morning two hours earlier the guards say they came in at six thirty they found them they call emergency services they tried to do CPR with them but he's dead but rather than leave the body there they take the body to an emergency room yeah is that normal protocol no that's a that's not normal protocol the EMS people normally especially in jail should not move a dead body he's right bureau of prison protocol mandate to suicide scene should be treated with the same level of protection as any crime scene in which a death has occurred sixty minutes reviewed hundreds of graphic photographs from the autopsy of Jeffrey up Steve and inside his cell there are two nooses a bit of born she tied to the great of a window on the top bunk bottles in medicine stand upright below it another piece of fabric is tied to a hole on the bed about four feet from the ground did have Steve who was nearly six feet tall and a hundred and eighty five pounds somehow lean in and hang himself from the lower bunk we don't know these are the known facts on July sixth Jeffrey Epstein was booked into the metropolitan correctional center were MCC in downtown Manhattan a federal high security holding facility for inmates awaiting trial suicides at the MCC are rare the last one was fourteen years ago the jail has temporarily housed everyone for Mexican drug lord el Chapo to mafia boss John Gotti and fraud stir Bernie made off MCC is the worst jail or prison I've ever been to by far it's not a club fed it's not a club anything it is dirty it's insect infested rodent infested it was built for about three hundred and fifty and houses over seven hundred inmates are packed in Bruce our cat is the lawyer for abstinence first cell mate fifty two year old nectar tag Leone a brawny former police officer accused of murdering for men they shared a cell in the issue the special housing unit which is considered safe for the general population jails tough place the rules don't exist the way they do in society somebody like Jeffrey obscene unknown elderly rich white male is gonna have a tough time in general population abstain was directing money to be deposited in other inmate's commissary accounts in exchange for his protection sources say because he feared for his life but the government says abstain was suicidal and made his first failed suicide attempt weeks after he arrived according to court documents on July twenty third a guard found abstain on the floor of his cell with the strip of bed sheet around his neck abstain claimed his cellmate nectar tag Leone attacked him I've seen says that Nick tried to kill them next says absolutely nothing like that happened well it's not just Nick says absolutely nothing happened absolutely nothing happened no one says to on their try to kill abstained abstain was moved to the psych unit and placed on suicide watch but one week later abstain at the direction of the MCC psychological staff was taken off suicide watch and required to have an assigned cell mate this was a monumental failure on all levels and that's why it is fueled the conspiracies and I understand that Cameron linsey is a former federal prison warden who should have made sure that he wasn't taken off suicide watch in your opinion the leadership of the facility should of stepped in and so while I appreciate the perspective of U. chief psychologist I'm going to override that decision and we're going to leave abstain on suicide watch is specially subsequent to the suicide attempt that he had I have steam was moved back to the issue and assigned a new cellmate we reviewed photos in interview jail employees to create this composite of the area each tier of the shoe has eight cells usually with two inmates Purcell Eckstine cell to twenty was about fifteen feet away and have a set of stairs from the guard station with the single locked gate between them the gate is the only way in or out of the tier lawyers say the day before F. steam was found dead he was upbeat and looking forward to an appeal hearing on his bail that same day his cell mate was released and no new cellmate was assigned even though he was required to have one Michael Thomas until the no well are the two guards who were working the overnight shift on the shoe court documents say abstain was escorted into his cell by to open a well at approximately seven forty nine PM then the guards didn't check in on him again until shortly after six thirty AM the next morning so they should they should be checked in on every thirty min they should be checked on every thirty minutes it's my understanding based on the documents and I examined the two officers that were working in the special housing unit allegedly falsified the records and did not do any rounds for approximately eight hours how big of a deal is that it's a huge huge deal this is one of the most basic operational aspects of managing a jail or prison instead federal prosecutors say surveillance video makes clear the guards search the internet and appeared to have been asleep both guards were working overtime when you're being forced to stay over ships not gonna see a family you start to see some people take short cuts Tyrone Covington is the president of the union that represents the guards who both now face criminal charges and have pleaded not guilty I absolutely believe that these staff members are being made a scapegoat because it was Jeffrey I was just if the Covington doesn't think there was any foul play and he says there should be surveillance video to prove it in November Attorney General William Barr told reporters he personally reviewed surveillance video that showed nobody entered the area were at Steven was held but sources say a second camera inside the tear the one that could have seen abstain cell door and the doors of other inmates was not working that night the theories that are out there one of them is that it was another inmate who may have killed Jeffrey have stand a come on you don't believe he was found hanging in the cell he had tried to commit suicide before that he was a very wealthy man who was looking a lifetime in prison you know sometimes a cigar is just a cigar so absence taken off suicide watch the day before he killed himself his roommate is removed from the cell the cameras on his tear are not working the guards fell asleep it seems almost impossible to think all of those things could happen and that way it does and that's what makes is so shocking and I mean this is a failure on multiple levels do you think there's any way that Jeffrey absent could have been murdered absolutely unequivocally not there was a note in Jeffrey obscene cell he wrote that one guard kept me unlock shower stall for one hour no well the guard sent me burnt food giant bugs crawling over my hands no fun Dr Michael Baden says if anyone thought Jeffrey up steam was suicidal they wouldn't have let him have a ball point pen it could be used to harm himself or someone else his then we just noticed looking at the photos it appears he had some kind of sleep apnea machine you can see a long electrical cord yes there were other wires and chords present that it would have been easy to used to hang oneself within a few minutes but the key reason doctor Baden things Jeffrey have scenes death might be a homicide is because of the unusual fractures he saw in it seems neck they were fractures of the left the rights thyroid cartilage and the left hi good bone this is an autopsy photo of Epstein's broken hyoid bone a U. shaped bone that sits under the jaw the part of the tongue attach is to the thyroid cartilage sits at the front of the neck I have never seen three fractures like this in a suicidal hanging sometimes there's a fracture of the high bone or a fracture of the thyroid cartilage and not very very unusual to have two and not three and going over over thousand jail hangings suicides in the New York City state prisons of the past forty fifty years no one had three fractures the New York City medical examiner's office disputes Baden's theory saying the fractures of the hyoid bone and cartilage can be seen in suicides and homicides they stand firmly behind their finding of suicide by hanging then there's the two nooses this was the one that was sketch and included in the autopsy by the medical examiner presumably because they thought it was used in apps dean's death but doctor Baden says that news and the wounds on Jeffrey abstains knack don't appear to match what do you say when you see these two things together what I see here is that this news doesn't match the ligature Foro mark it's wider than this to the naked eye it looks like there's some blood here and it doesn't look like there's any blood on this new that's right this looks like a clean news that was never used to compress anybody's neck there's also some that's striking about the photos the wound is down here you'd think of somebody hung themselves the wound would be maybe up here yes most hanging said especially free hangings the ligature slides up to beneath the the jawbone the mandible here it's in the middle of the neck doctor Baden says a wound straight across the neck is more common when a victim is strangled by a wire cord he gets dean's brother mark met with the government and asked to see any forensic testing and any video but they say they were told the ongoing criminal case against the two guards prevents the justice department from releasing any information so the criminal charges are now basically a firewall for the family to get any information from the justice department the charges have also silenced the guards the attorney for guard Michael Thomas says five months after up Steve's death Thomas has still not spoken to investigators were revealed how he alone found at Steve's body disappointed that they never got to face I've seen in court many victims are now angry the

"Idea. We're GONNA hit some news. We're also going to talk about the names that will define the N._F._l.. Season this this year just the guys that we think will have have a massive impact whether it's coaches players and beyond that we're gonNA break down that list but let's start with a little bit of news. A couple of things have happened since we recorded last Michael Michael. Thomas became the richest wide receiver in the history of the N._F._l.. Good friends is one of those deals that it happens and somebody asked what your responses and it's like sure sure. Did we expect any different Michael. Thomas been the one of the if the if not the most productive receiver through his first few seasons the history of the N._F._l.. And when that is the case and your contract comes up you will likely become the highest paid player in the history of your position and that is what happened yet. Yep I mean I it's it's hard to separate Michael Thomas's efficiency from drew brees but sure from where I'm standing. You don't want to be the team that finds out you know. Do you know what I'm saying you don't want to be the teammate is last year was eighty five percent. <hes> which I believe is the best in history or close to it at one point. He was training to be the best in history. I don't know how he finished exactly <hes> so he's worth a lot of money especially for the next what two years that that drew brees will probably be around that we know of and so I I just think if you're GONNA try to go all in as the saints are perpetually all in <hes>. This is the move you had to make. I understand you know look eventually. They're going to have have to start paying a lot of their guys because they hit on a lot of the draft picks is what we talk about all the time. This is the cowboys problem this was you know in the old C._B._S.. Detroit lions problem and said they didn't have the money for it and so. I just think that this is the first in a lot of big contracts. Saints have to give out but I think their hands are tied. They just gotTa do it. It's the tax you pay for having some really good players and so his base salary next year is eleven million which yeah I'm sure by next July that will be converted so two million and base salary and they will move the rest into a signing bonus and start kicking the can down the road again the saints..

"Folks. We're going to shift gears now and I'm going to statement and that is we now know without any hesitation that Michael. Thomas knows where his next meal is coming disgust between Yourselves Beck and call off the prayer vigil Bob. You can call off the damn prayer original okay. I'm going to be the first person to raise a skeptical lie about this deal not because Michael Thomas is not talented talented on paper. Michael. Thomas is everything that you should take this kind of chance for and for those of you who don't know what I'm referring to talking about. The New Orleans saints agreeing to who five years one hundred million dollars for a receiver deal includes twenty million dollar signing bonus which is what Thomas wanted all along. He wanted to break the bank Thank you want it to be the first receiver to average twenty million dollars a year. They gave him everything he wanted. The first nine figure deal in the history of the N._F._L. for a non quarterback offensive player okay. I guess it'd been defensive. Maybe you know linebacker linemen over the years but for offense out of corporate now why Why do you think that is folks. Why do you think that is I'll tell you why it is because quarterbacks for all the money that they cost are actually generally more durable than anybody else on the offensive side say perhaps an offensive tackle because they you know unless you have a really porous. offensive line. They don't get hit that much and they're not running with the ball and they're not going to Teheran A._C._L. And now who does that running backs and receivers levers and if you are going to give a hundred million dollars to receiver even great receiver. Michael Thomas and he is great and he is twenty six and you know if If you're ever GONNA give a guy of a five year deal for one hundred million dollars do it when he's twenty five or twenty six..

"To pay Michael Thomas the falcons are always going to pay Julio Jones but Julio us to wait a year because he just restructure that deal last season so he's going to see Michael Thomas and others might you side big deals it's gonna be interesting to see moving forward how the falcons and Julio Jones handle this thing knowing that at some point they're going to come into an impasse based on now the contract structuring works and they're gonna have to wait another season and who is going to go out there and play just like everybody is going to go out there play just like Ezekiel Elliott is going to go out there and play but I did take away from this outside of the states and looking at it from a micro level about how this continues to help drew Brees in the passing game especially the underneath game with a guy like Alvin kabar there you can throw the football to and it's gonna do wonders for Michael Thomas is going to be able to get behind some defense of backs and really open some things up the bigger question I had is why teams continue to pay top dollar at this position knowing that it's been proven in fact you don't need to pay top dollar at that position was Superbowl but I guess there's nothing more then bird in the hand syndrome that you have in the NFL Hey Michael Thomas is the latest example of it and you know I guess if you really wanted to stretch that you could look at other positions as well and quarterback.
Michael Thomas and Saints agree on a five-year, $100-million contract
"The Michael Thomas hold out is over the saints broke open the piggy bank making him the NFL's highest paid wide receiver and a philatelist Mike to tell you this is Thomas is proving he's worth a hundred billion dollar five year deal the first three years of his career nobody National Football League the Democrat more passes the Michael Thomas the till uses the saints are in one of those nice problem to have situations as they've done pretty well with recent drafts and will have rookie deals running out on other top players like how the Camaro marshon
Michael Thomas, Saints Agree to Record 5-Year, $100M Contract
"Here away no doubt that can junior is no longer the richest wide receiver in NFL history that title now belongs to Michael Thomas of the saints NFL dot com reporting this morning the twenty six year old is agreed to a five year extension worth a hundred million dollars he's the first offense of player other than a quarterback to get a one hundred million dollar contract to twenty million per year for Thomas passes Beckham's number of eighteen million it's deserve it based on the numbers and Thomas is called the three hundred twenty one passes in his first three seasons more than any other player in NFL
A.J. Green's injury on 'subpar' Bengals practice field will cost wide receiver up to two months
"Speaking of injuries unfortunately an M._r._i.. Has revealed that Cincinnati Bengals Wide Receiver A._J.. Green has torn ligaments in his left. Ankle is according affording to Schefter here. They are likely to sideline green six to eight weeks up really not a good situation and teammate Tyler Boyd questioned the turf. The team was practicing on when green was injured. It was terrible. I couldn't run any routes out there. I'm falling all over the ground man it was it was bad. It was rocks pebbles out there man it was somewhere we should have been just feel like the turf was old. You know it just wasn't we didn't get good traction in and out of her breaks. You know a lot of guys not just me was on the ground but I mean who wasn't up there that long but there's gotTa make a word man. We gotta get it well. The turf was that welcome stadium at the University of Dayton where the bengals are practicing coach you buy this well. I haven't seen the video really in this instance probably not but I will say that you know feel. Surfaces are very very important for player safety. You know whether it's a grass field you know what is the old school latch with Pittsburgh steelers. We practice on hard old school astroturf every day for five years so no you got to look at it but in that instance I think it was a matter of the kind of rolling up on the back of his ankle and that was what I saw caused that particular injury about sure it was the field service problem here in addition to the injury of course which is is paramount is the optics of this and when you have a player who says this sort of perception is reality and then then it's out there and you got players. You might believe this is the case whether the optics to this are awful and this time of year teams are trying to realize their fan N._B._C.'s. I've been a part of that for a number of years. Every team has an operations department and kind of like the offensive line. You'd never talk about the operations department until there's a problem and part of their responsibility is to advance where hotels are safety of the fields whether or not the field deal with safer not now the perception is that it was a problem now e._j.. Green fairness may have gotten hurt it was on their practice field but they're players now think that was a factor and they're at the University of Dayton given rookie head coach. He's trying to establish himself itself and now he has a problem in the locker room because these players are questioning what the organization did and that Operation Staff that you're referring to my signed off on the practices being here the League went to them. They sent a site survey team to inspect the field and that site survey survey team for the Bengals said this field is okay to practicing and maybe they thought it's one practice we can get through now. You've got a situation where you see A._J.. Green get hurt on this play and we can take another look at it right here where he goes up for the past the D._v. lands on his ankle. He's on the turf tears ligaments in his ankle. He's going to be sixty weeks. Think about how much is at stake your now. You have a first year head coach Zack Taylor who's trying to come in and implemented program. They've already lost their first round draft. Pick joyner Williams to a season ending injury. Now you lose your left tackle. You lose your number one wide receiver. They are at a loss there and A._J.. Green himself is going into the last year of his contract so at a time when we're talking about new deals for Michael Thomas in Amari Cooper Julio Jones guess who else was on that list of A._J.. Green so what happens now to his value as argument now that he is going to be out for some period of time and organization standpoint. That's a really difficult position because A._J.. Degrees could say hey. I've done all the right things. I was out there practicing at the university because you wanted me to and now that's going to hurt me and take money out of my own pocket. It could really cause a situation to go awry very quickly and again even if the operations team went through all the protocols the the perception is that this feel wasn't safe and now they have a problem with one of their best players. Yeah I think that team without J. Green if you look at their record versus with huge and so he's a big part of their team. He's going to be missed. This is that there's a fair amount of injury here to start. You know this is not the way not the way you want to get off the ground. No team does last last year he missed time with a toe injury and when he was out of there the offense did not operate the same toddler boys production fell off and everybody thinks talent boy. We'll just emerge as the number one guy and he's a really good wide receiver but the fact that matters A._G.. Green when he's out there makes tyler. Holler bought a better received. John Ross still has not stepped up as the first round draft pick that he was. He says he's ready to do that. Will they need him to do that. They've got some other players Alex Berenson some good young receivers but A._J.. Green is on a level with Julio Jones. He's is that kind of talent and when you Jack Taylor coming into his offense it's hard to get by without somebody that good.
"Be N._F._l.. Teams are in training camp but that doesn't mean every player is we've got hold doubts in key spots Saints Michael Thomas Chargers Melvin Gordon who else Yana can gakugei Jacksonville Trent Williams in Washington and of course Ezekiel Elliott in Dallas the big one big name that everyone's watching out there in oxnard California all guys that <hes> are heading into either the final year of their deal or wants some sort of adjustment on their contract before camp or the season starts so we gotta go through all these the person who helps us make sense of all this stuff is our own Adam schefter so Adam Una make this pretty simple. I will give you a name and you tell us the latest on that player. Start with Ezekiel Elliott of of the cowboys will Zeke Elliott has not shown up in Oxnard California side of the Dallas Cowboys training camp and they're going through physical today. They are basically supposed to be attending a team meeting and there's no sign of Zeke right now which tells you soup that it looks like at the very least Zeke Watch is underway and it certainly feels like this is going to be a hold out while the two sides tried to see if they can come up with a new deal for Zeke Elliott but no signs of him California this yet and no signs as of November by the chargers camp right now then this one is going to go on for a while the two sides basically have their own stances. There have differing pains. Nobody Gordon's value. I don't see this getting south anytime this summer I I think this one looks like it has a real chance to go into the regular season. It's time for Austin Ecuador and Justin Jackson and no Michael Thomas in New Orleans still you take the reading receiver off that team. The saints have offered to make them the highest a wide receiver receiver in football. It sounds like he wants to get to a very high threshold north of twenty million dollars a year. We'll see what they can get there where the saints a willing to budge but Michael Thomas wants to become not just a highest eight wide receiver in football but the highest paid wide receiver football by a long shot right now while we wait for Julio Jones deal to potentially come in later this summer Adam sit tight we we'll come back to you as as needed. We're going to go back and talk about Ezekiel Elliott though how important is even to the cowboys he's led the N._F._l.. Rushing yards per game in each of his first three seasons the only other players to do that in the ninety nine year history of the N._F._l.. or Jim Brown and Earl Campbell perhaps you've heard of them. Both of those guys are in the hall of fame name safe to say that few running backs have ever had a better start to their careers then has Ezekiel Elliott

Talent however I'm Wendy net sand Hutus here you know what's better to be on this panel our expert notice icy expert telling me when Lewis Minute of her panter on the list not on the House for back the quarterback guru he and his brother in a lot of N._F._l.. Games James A lot and Ryan Clark. You see the L. L._S._U.. They are ills college football. L. Is Jonathan Vilma bike. He will join US shortly. He happened to win a National Championship and Oh by the way a super bowl as well coming up on N._F._l.. Live will break down position by position which college produces the best quarterback Oklahoma has the number one overall pick the last two years we have the top ten plays all the N._F._l.. Superstars when they were in college and answering big question which school produces the best all time N._F._l.. Talent we had to ask the players themselves to kick things off. We're the first pick quarterback Oklahoma Viva say Oklahoma Alabama Clemson because proven it is one atop factory the Ohio state highest in Alabama. 'cause I never lost beat out. You really can't understand it into your inside. Sadness programming is all about the you for N._F._l.. Because of Georgia in every aspect but I think L._S._U.. CRESA environment of gray competition and guys is trying to feed off of IT University of Pittsburgh. You Got Dorset. Dan Marina you got Larry. Fitzgerald was not a me show. It's about having everybody involved in working for the Sandal clumps in would cushman he's been doing. He's making people believe everything is possible for House is the best our stop it. Stop stuff well. Let's start shall we with the most players from each college currently in the N._F._l.. Alabama leads the way with V with sixty five players players followed by Ohio state in second place with fifty eight so we're going to debate these schools I in terms of who is best at producing N._F._l.. Challenge here's a tale of the tape on Alabama at Ohio state success since the two thousand draft folks tools I have had thirty one first round picks the most of any school while the Buckeyes have thirteen more total picks in the last twenty drafts but Bama's players have been slightly more successful in the league producing three more pro bowlers than Ohio St Louis Rick. Let's start with with the crimson tide. They're starting eleven if you will offense and defense current N._F._l.. Talent there's any question that these are both very impressive lineups that if Alabama can roll these teams out there right now now. I think they'd win a few games without a doubt. If you look at the offense aside outside of the ball the first thing that jumps out of these starting eleven are the two wide receivers look Julio. Jones is one of the finest athletes in the N._F._l.. For guardless of position he's in the news right now because he's about to get a new contract extension and he's really one of the he's one of the transcendent players at the position that this game the scene Amari Cooper the same way. When Amari came out of college? I remember doing his tape in thinking point honestly as far as catching one pet and run wide receiver. I hadn't seen one as good as him as him. In a long long time on the defensive side look they have fine players throughout the eleven here really that when you get to the secondary and you guys like Eddie Jackson Landon Collins I mean these guys are disband tastic players on the front dont`a hightower our multiple time superbowl winner. These are great great players right here. Make our way to Columbus shower of the to Ohio state you go to the offense side of the football. Look the first thing that jumps out without a doubt as Ezekiel Elliott because if he's not the best running back in the N._F._l.. He would be considered a top three running back in the N._F._l.. Wide Receiver Michael Thomas Really someone who was unheralded coming out of college. He's a tremendous tremendous. Pro will probably be the highest paid wide receiver in the N._F._l.. In short time then move over to the defensive side of the ball this this is where really this football team really kind of jumps off the board starting up Front Joey Bosa Cam Hayward those are two of the best defense alignment in the N._F._l.. Right now and then when you look down there at the Secondary Malcolm Dyson Dinkins Denzel Ward Marshon Lattimore doesn't let's get much better than that. All right Jonathan Vilma made his way again surly qualified to weigh in on this discussion. Look I mean there's a shortage of talent with either of these squads. It's almost ridiculous factory and a lot of ways both of these institutions but let the debate again a Ryan Clark. You can't pick L._S._U.. Just yet but when you look at this group what stands out L._S._U.'s better than both of these things we're gonNA get to that. We're supposed to be talking outlets. Let's be honest. There's amazing players. Neither one of them have a quarterback right before proven yet though little I mean why don't we always have to see something first before we can get you well Ray Richardson running back right you saw God compare that with you why time gentlemen we're GonNa play Nice Got Ninety minutes ago. You're the Glenn Difference from every other position that we're looking at okay fair enough now back to you Louis. It is a production results oriented industry. Is it not so it is fair to say seeing something. Does one believe they'll be success won't sure but I mean we're we'll see this is kind of like a combination of what they have done in college. What some of these guys have done in the pros in some of it's a little bit of projecting about what they're gonNA continue to do in the pros? That's how I'm going to expand it to that all right so at quarterback quarterback Dwayne Haskins I believe right now. There's no comparison as far as I don't care what A._J.. McCarron did it Alabama cows tape. Those Wayne has close exact Haskins is going to be a fine football player. What's going to happen to him? Really is going to be more predicated on what Washington redskins overall due to him then what he does to himself. I firmly believe that as far as these rousers overall look the wide receiver position Julio Jones Amari Cooper. Julio Jones's the standard if you go and look N._F._l.. For an offices and look in their scouting books books every team has a standard at every position that they put for scouts the suit for as far as whenever when their scouting people polio is going to be on that list for for many many teams he's about as good as it gets so skill positions at Alabama are awesome. The defensive players at Ohio State is what stands out for me as far as their front seven is concerned particularly their defensive line and their secondary Denzel Award Marshon Lattimore. You tell me a team that wouldn't take those two young men right now and startled. Let me ask you a specific question since you spend some time as an analyst watching these players at the collegiate level if you had to choose either of this group Alabama Ohio state who's players really got better or who took a bigger step forward than you anticipated when they got to the N._F._l.. Out To you to dance your last part no neither standout. They're pretty equal because watching these guys watching Jonathan Allen he played okay well Dante. I'll tell you knew who is going to be tremendous player defensive player C._J.. Moseley's same thing and then you go to the other side and you look at Joey Bosa Nick Bosa Darren like Malcolm Jenkins. I play with Malcolm Jenkins in in New Orleans knew he was going to be a study. He's Philistine but what is surprising how fast or House they defense is. I did not realize how fast defensive you think big ten you didn't big Brawley guys not so fast but these guys can move joey. Bosa also can move nick volks in Darren League. We know the Burner Malcolm J. Denzel War March. I mean that is a very very talented athletic fast fast defense. I thought I was going to jump in your rookie. I think that's a great question Wendy about as far as what teams teams have players that have gotten better pros. You look at Ohio state this look at their offense. In particular Michael. Thomas was a good wide receiver to hire Stayton. He's fantastic now. He's GonNa be highest paid wide receiver in the N._F._l.. Andrew Norwell most people wouldn't even know Andrew Norwell well what from Andrew Doorbell he right now just judge Moore Norwell can't open open some N._F._l.. Spectacular and even on the defensive side of the ball. I didn't think Marshon lattimore. I've liked Marshon Lattimore at Ohio state. I didn't love Marcet. He has taken his game to another level as well in the really own Alabama side you know how I feel about Alabama I feel nick and what he does and how he builds his program but really focus on their offense align that was just look okay and think about that question. Wendy Wendy asked how many players have gotten better how many have continued to improve Andre Smith may have his best days at Alabama. Dame's carpenter has really been good pro Brian Kelly the jury still out he could be a he's a good player. He's GonNa play already in Indianapolis D._J.. fluker was he ever ever really that guy that dominant guy no. He hasn't been Cam Robinson. Have you seen story so it's interesting because they're preventing people have been many people who've hit Alabama and said they get the best out of their players at Alabama. Maybe it's good discussion legal where people go by what teams there drafted so we look at Michael Thomas he falls into a place where he needs an accurate passer and he's one of the most accurate passers all the time also about the place you land in ashore and how they develop you ask Josh Rosen he absolutely he knows that all too well. I ten Hasselbeck. The whole point of this is to pick one of our producers here a little bit we talked. I'm going Alabama mainly change quarterbacks. Yeah I think looks great point about the offensive line at Alabama because so many of them when you look at them just in terms of body type you're like Oh my God look at those guys body type wise but like I don't know that some of those guys have come in and be like Oh and they got a whole lot better. We're obviously splitting hairs here on this ongoing Alabama Lewis Sorry Nick. Oh from a hustle change your mind or did you stick the way said one because I don't care if between Haskins hasn't played. I think he's I think he's in the saints. Stratosphere is A._J.. McCarron so I like that I liked it their offense of line one of the things that talked about how they develop those guys on the defense aside but they're fun four plus their secondary this going with them Ryan Clark you have to pick one while I was brought here for one reason in one reason only when the Knicks because everyone knew it my answers it would be and what Tim Hasselbeck has proven is. You don't need a quarterback. That's really he's GonNa be Ohio state in Alabama that don't have quarterbacks guess what we don't need a quarterback back and by the way you don't want our first off was good enough for Bill Belichick your boy to draft him as Tom Brady's heir-apparent draft. We thought they they went to L._S._U.. Because this guy has what they decided to we throwing the ball all around the field Andrew Whitworth he's played a thousand years. There's a Guy Jerry go look at the Neil hundred may has like negative two percent body fat Michael Broncos out. There aren't key. We gotta wait on them but it's are are you at the back of position. That's all we got mad. I gotTa get here all even have to work conviction when you spoke scissors. I'm sorry I just so tim. I love your twenty. Two question your toughness Whoa West I've seen because as you know what fair enough he's at Alabama alum landon dare you wait into the circus that we've created. But what do you have to say about this. Whole debate ain't Ryan got some good good good stuff going on say? I wouldn't question his toughness at all. I don't know why you questioned Ryan toughness. I saw him not got a lot of Alabama's always number one no matter Corolla tyrod. Let me ask you a serious question. You know obviously nick. Sabin is a hall of Famer one of the best ever coach this game but specifically what does he do that has allowed such historic success at the university. Steve Alabama <hes> as a coach he speaks for as a coach. He represents his players as players coach. I would say he makes all this coach. All the players are on the him as a player as a father <hes> <hes> and as a as many tried to teach us they'd be a man and a great play all at one time you know so he does it all leading. Can you please tell the people why you are now better that you have trusted your career training with the guy from L._S._U.. Hey right you agreed trying to grow been gone on gone for years

"New Orleans. I've struggled with this game this week because the loss of rankings is a big one for the saints. That's that's a big loss interior linemen like that. Can open up some holes for the running game. We know the Rams can run the ball girly Anderson in combination or great on the ground a week ago. And these are two really good teams. You know, they didn't get in this position without being really good teams. Saints. However. To me. They've proven that can win all sorts of ways this year. I mean, their defense is probably one of the more games in their offense at times, especially in tight moment. And then of course, their offense has Camaro and Michael Thomas who was the best player on the field against the eagles last week. And their quarterback is drew Brees. And when you look at the coaches here both of these guys. I go and feeling good about. You know, Sean Payton sometimes rubs me the wrong way. I hated that stunt he did with the trophy in the cash last week it just felt like corny, but I can't front on what he's done. And I gotta give him credit. He did not coach that game afraid at all last week at outside of Michael Thomas. Sean Payton's, a big reason they won that game. That fake punt took some gumption go. He went for it on fourth down a lot in that game. So he knows what he's doing. Obviously, Sean McVeigh has been an innovator this year. He's the the reason so many people are hiring coaches that look just like him. They just like them looked just like him down to the haircut. But. When when I'm this torn on a game like this. I'm looking for one thing that means be one way or the other with New Orleans. There's two we all know, it's I'm not breaking any new ground with you these points. We all know how much better they've been at home. Historically, the tough place to play. You saw that in the second half of that eagles game. How much the crowd impacted that game? And I don't take it lightly. That they were able to bounce back against Philadelphia because.

"He is such a difference maker. And there were times last week. We're philadelphia. I don't think I've seen this all certainly not this season. I don't think I've seen it. Hardly ever. They were rolling their safety out of cover three to Thomas while they're playing single highs zone, but the single high defender is doubling Thomas so they're playing zone with no help on certain parts of the field. That's I've never seen a team double team. And they didn't do it all game. They probably wished they had Thomas beat him. Anyway, no matter what they did. You've gotta stop Michael Thomas. You can't let them have over one hundred yards. You'll lose. Well, that's kind of what we talked about on Monday. And if you're going to get beat by saint's make them beat you with Brees. He's throwing over the top. And that's kind of look if you make them, obviously, Alvin Kamara is on the field to you can you can use him. But if it's going to be Ted Ginn slash trae Kwan Smith, those are those are guys who. Their deep threat guys. There are guys who are going to be over the top. And that's that's it's easier said than done. But yeah, I mean, you gotta you gotta devote. I think you have to constantly devote a second defender to Michael Thomas, and and like you said just just make it be anyone else. The tricky part of that is a saints know that that's how you feel until they put Kamara near Michael Thomas, and now it's hard to double. Because those are the two guys at scary end out of those to the Rams last time, they chose to double Kamara more. But again, they were playing the man coverage ahead lamarcus Joyner down on him with the way those ram linebackers are playing right now barren and Littleton. They're both very fatter operating fast. They look comfortable and then join her being as fast as he is I play zone and take my chances that we can we can contest with Kamara out and just contain them. We can't give up the seventy are touchdown that. We did. Him in the regular season last year, but we can live with him getting ten catches for seventy yards total. That's what I do. I play zone. I keep in front of me. I make the Saint sustained drives. I. It's hard. It's hard more offense. Place. Yeah. And that's kind of what the saints last time. They had sustained offense. Obviously they they had the seventy two yard touchdown to Michael Thomas to seal the game. But before that, I mean, you know, they'd put three points on the board midway through the fourth quarter. And it was. It was that it was a lot of Saint offense. Aaron Donald that's the one saving grace for. You is in the saints are the one of the few teams that have guys that can contest with him. I like their guards warford and Pete Pete struggled last week. And. I think you've mentioned earlier to meet today pointed out he's got that wrist injury of the surgery after the season. It was his footwork. That was the problem against Fletcher Cox at times last week. But Aaron Donald if you can get interior pressure on drew Brees. That's that changes the equation because breeze does not have the arm to push the ball down field. If he does not have the pocket to step up into. But that's a big if I mean this team just kept Fletcher Cox in check last week. And I know Cox was not one hundred percent. But Cox still looked like Fletcher Cox on film the saints. Just played very well. Yeah. No. I was going to say I I was watching Andrews Pete last week. And I just sort of made a mental note like, oh, he didn't. He didn't look very good. Yeah. Had an off day just sort of looked out of sorts. And then the report to come out early in the week that he did have surgery on his hand and was probably playing just a tremendous amount of pain. Which would explain a lot of that? And the opportunities there there are so many things in this game where you say well..

"Bryant tickets hill. But do this. I was open where you're gonna be Suzy's in drew Brees air. Hey. Hey, you gotta throw it to me. Drew will be like, well, you got to go over there and sit down. Yeah. Sean. Like, why are you had game drew told me to come over here and talk to you about it? I want the ball. Nah. They gotta do something 'cause they need one receiver. Yeah. I mean, you can't go into game with four wide receivers. Yeah. 'cause the venture that's going to catch with you. You like to go into the game with five and have a guy that can play multiple position. So if one gets Nikki can go in he can fill in you receive man, you ask tempting fate the truth. Is they go into games too wide receivers right with with Michael Thomas and what? No seriously. I don't know how you do it. How do you get away with that? Well, you not go would that. Nobody's got mic and had to come out. I mean you again. So basically since they've been down again junior. They've been basically gold full why? Yeah. And they've become balanced for the first time a long time. And they're pretty fifty fifty run pass. That's the way they've been winning football games, and that will continue, but you still need some other threat at some point. The league is going to say this is how we stopped Michael Thomas three guys on him. Seriously. I'm not letting him beat me the guys that you mentioned those other guys they're going to have to show. They're gonna have to show any time said Michael Thomas had have Marcus Peters and single coverage. Well, that's I'm doubling hill. Now, he not getting twelve all he might get twelve but you're gonna throw thirty eighty but you're not gonna throw fifteen passes at him. And he got catch twelve him. If he does he I need to new corners or it's safe because I'm cutting you guys if. Have him double the Nikkei, twelve passes and cutting both of you. You're not going back with me. I still say Alvin Kamara is more wide receiver than running back, and he can run the football. If he can catch it. He can run precise quick cut routes where I'm just he looks like a wider..

"Game, changing wide receiver wearing the. Number thirteen jersey who unquestionably ranks as one of the top three receivers in the NFL today. So it's funny, you commend a guy in Michael Thomas for being on a bad team or seven and nine mediocre team when a guy, a guy like Jarvis Landry consistently put up very, very similar numbers on a terrible Miami team. It just doesn't make any sense to me. It's weird and I don't know if it's media perception or what it is that Jarvis Landry is considered, you know that lesser to your receiver than than Michael Thomas. And I'm not sure whether it's the poor publicity, the stuff with Adam case and his his dismissal from Miami and sent being sent to Cleveland. I don't know what the, you know what that is. They seem like a very comparable set of receivers. Honestly, if we're going to look at it and we're gonna talk about who the actual top three is in the NFL at this moment, in my opinion, guys that make plays in guys that change the game every time they're on their, you're looking at Antonio, Brown, Julio Jones, and Odell Beckham junior, and it's not really an argument guy. Is that have put it together for the last four or five years as opposed to just to us. Okay. We've been talking about this for a while. How do you feel about ninety seconds on the clock. Rebuttal time. She just me and you going back and forth, just me and you. Let's do it. Ninety seconds owns clock. All right. What in your mind makes back? I'm a better for Thomas. It's that fact that defenses have to consistently game plan for Michael Thomas benefits. This euro Odell probably benefit from defenses having to focus a lot on saquon. But Michael Thomas certainly benefits from Alvin Kamara being on the field over and over again. Odell can do it by himself, but Beckham twenty five catches last year injuries injury prone season hasn't had the longevity hasn't had this sort of overall consistency of once you get past us for three years. He's missed one season because of the injury. That was just last year. It was a major major loss, and he's averaging what eight catches your this, your own pace for good season, but not a Michael Thomas season. Something like some. I don't know what's eight hundred and hundred and five, something like that hundred obviously great season. But in this modern day, all passing air offense. I don't think it's all that impressive in the thing. I didn't commend Thomas for being on a bad team. I pointed out that he's the reason that that team turned around and became a Super Bowl contender. Again, when is Dell Beckham junior done that it's very weird that Michael Thomas gets the credit when the saints had a guy that was basically historic from from with yards from the line of scrimmage and Alvin Kamara who basically turned that offense into something completely different, allow drew Brees to be even more diverse quarterback than he already was also compare their quarterbacks ally Manning's would on the downslide of his career for a very long time, and it's clearly showing week in and week out..
"michael thomas" Discussed on You're Wrong... And Here's Why
"I did a little poll today among some of my friends and I'm gonna throw some names out there like odd Yukon hosts the underdog with me. Mario Hines, the NFL show the I tunes number one, show the NFL show more. You Hines my my old buddy, Matt Miller, and a couple of others. I asked them where does Michael Thomas rank in their books? And I think that's only going to help my argument. Wow. I really like how we're we're taking polls from colleagues to bolster argument. I'm not here to disparage Michael Thomas. I don't think that he's not a top-flight receiver in this league. He's a number one on any team, and that's not a question despite the fact that there are a few guys that still hold a little bit of weight over top of Michael Thomas, and it's not. It's really, you can't judge everything based off of the last three games. I know he's put up stats the last two years, and I'm not going to argue that, but there's, there's still a certain. I'm trying to think a hot take mentality that we base everything off of these first three games in the thirty eight catches and how quickly he sort of risen to the top of the NFL is receiving list. My biggest issue is when you look at him compared to everybody else based on long jetty, the numbers don't match. When you look at a guy like Antonio Brown stats, and it's specifically yards per catch, and even a guy like Mike Evans, who you know for most people, he should be a household name, but playing in Tampa. You may not get as much love as you would think when you look at his yards per catch compared to Michael Thomas over the last two years, we're talking about twelve yards per catch last year for Michael Thomas and twelve point four yards perception the year before that. Whereas Mike Evans, looking at fourteen point one and thirteen point eight in those. Same two years. Mike Evans hasn't had anything below. Thirteen point eight and his entire NFL career. Antonio Brown is very, very similar outside of the two thousand twelve season where he had sixty six catches and his rookie year you're not gonna count that he hasn't been below twelve point one. And that was only one time. Everything else was above thirteen yards of catch. Michael. Thomas is a lot more of what seems like a possession receiver, then that game breaking number one. That you want to maintain? He is all right. I don't. First of all, I do not need anyone else to validate my claims. All they're doing is backing up my position. I'm gonna say this look, I mentioned all of those names on you and Morio and Miller Sean Tracy from get paid and and a couple others. And we came up with a list and on that list, there were a handful of names. And you know, interestingly enough, Mike Evans was not one of them. I think he falls to that next year. The names we came up with the competition, four, Michael, Thomas Antonio, Brown Brown, twenty four catches this year. One hundred and one last year to me probably the best receiver in the NFL right now with that said, you know, given his age in the off the field stuff, it's not completely a given. I would take Brown ever Thomas right now, but I do think he's a better receiver. So point, Antonio, Brown, new cop, twenty catches this year, ninety six last year. The Andre. Really suffered from the quarterback situation and Houston..

"Name. But yeah, that was I wanna say it was Keisha might not have been Keyshawn, but there was a receiver on one of the networks, the screen shot. I can't find it right now. And his top five receivers. Number one at Julio boy. Number two yet AB. I had someone incorrect number three who fuck with. Mara, josh. Oh, it was Michael Thomas, Michael. Thomas number three seems lofty. Yeah, I like my Thomas a lot. I think if you wanna argument for that fifth spot, I think everyone kind of agrees on the top four and whatever order people put them in. It's usually the fear. Take your choice. And then he had Odell number four. The two guys tied for fifth. One of them was Hopkins, and then the fuck was. No, that's why I would put their, but it definitely wasn't. Eggs. Baldwin aren't even think it was Canaan Allen the out on the outside looking in. Now the AJ on there too. I'm really struggling to remember like t, y Hilton or someone like that. There are no receivers left. It was himself. Keyshawn Johnson is like sign me up. Well, let's see what happens. Yeah. I mean, the list just upset me. Abell. Four. Yeah. Julios. Yeah. Antonio Brown to Michael. Thomas three Odio four Hopkins in AJ Taffer fi guy was age. I, I didn't think I made the made the cut. I don't. Michael Thomas seems I would if the most part that order those five guys in some order, Michael Thomas aside. I got no gripe. Again, theme of Pro Bowl, Asher, not in anybody's taught five, listen makes you think. I, I don't. I don't see any arguments for anyone, but AB being number one, I really don't agree. It'd be AB Beckham like if you're just assuming full health, which seems fair. I could see those two. You know, one or two. After that. Yeah. Yeah. I don't think anybody has. Julio of course, but. Outside everybody else's fighting for third, this. Julio just hasn't by any stretch of the imagination been better than ode l. when they've been on the field just hasn't. I don't know, man who number one all time yards per game makes you think. Julio also has a quarterback like these things have not number ninth in the league man. Did you see her. Just something to consider. Yeah, and Dell's wasn't even on the list. That's I wouldn't own jig. He's I think he gonna have a bounceback year now he's not. Well, he will, but bounced by doesn't mean a whole lot. For a quarterback rating, seventy one. Some I ring number three. Don't even don't even joke. Having a good time here Laffin series quick. Where's Jarvis? Land is Jarvis Landry atop ten receiver. Because he said on this heart, he's like, he feels like he's the best, which, okay. Everybody says that and he's, he's got the most catches of anybody all time through the first four years day. Sure does. And. He was using a certain role like he's still succeeded at it. So I was like trying to end up ten probably right. I'm very pro Jarvis Landry. But if you if you were to take him or Mike, Gavin sued, you take. Like on their current team. So I, if you if you were just picking wide receivers, I'll go Evans if you were taking him All England, don't make me choose no hammer, like Brandin cooks. I think that was really close Jarvis there, but I, yeah, I could see the argument for kooks. Okay. Hammered, Josh Gordon. I'm gonna games Gordon. Do I get. As many as he's willing to play four games. Yep. Gordon, honestly, Hemmer Keenan Allen. That's the guy surprises. Damage been beaten drum a bit and their check things. He's like third was he's really hundred. Two catches last year, fourteen hundred yards. Six. Like I didn't realize I was annot. He had a stretch there where he had like a like Calvin Johnson type stretch where he put up like four hundred yards over four weeks. I could sit like Newt. He's coming off that injury or basically to injured season. He's never had double digits down a season though. I mean, you might as Julio west..

"Michael, hey, how's it going? Thank you for taking some time from training camp by pre shaped, hopefully to welcome break for you. The pre-tape. You guys have more start out by saying that back in February of two thousand sixteen. I was in Indianapolis at the combine, had dinner with one of your college teammates, ally, apple. And I remember saying to him during dinner in this great draft class of Ohio State players that includes Joey Bosa and is equal Elliott and Taylor decker, and Darren Lee and von bell and Braxton Miller, Nick net, and Josh Perry and cartel Jones, who's the one guy that you think is going to have the best career in the NFL and he didn't hesitate. He goes Michael Thomas. What did he tell me? The Michael Thomas of that great draft class was going to have the best NFL career. You know, we went at it in college. We compete allow competed every day, let's type of environment where we came, we competed and him being in defensive back, you know, when it gets each other a lot and we've got each other honest and every day we know we're getting better and that would help us win games in the horseshoe on Saturdays and play for championships. So there's no probably saying consistent, develop a routine and then eventually off on game day. Michael, how much have you followed those other guys. I follow them all the time. I'm always happy for them to have. It's as long as I'm not going to get them. But other than that, other than not, I'm looking for them to see. We take pride in our school. You know, a lot of these guys could have chose from many different universities, but because the highest safer Regan quite big time football in the big time environment. So we kinda try to go to the NFL and play with some pry what's your assessment of what's going on at Ohio State now. I have. I've been in training camps. I haven't much time to really pay attention to what's going on, but I've just been focusing on my content. Good for you. Okay. So I want to go back over the last two seasons. We talked about that conversation with ally APPA. When we look back at your first two seasons in the NFL you had a hundred ninety six catches which is the most receptions in the first two seasons that anybody has ever had an NFL history. The only people close Georgia's Landry one hundred ninety four Odell Beckham junior at one eighty seven. What do you have in mind? Michael for year three coming up. People going try to set a high standard for so a long ways. Lee help leading this team to get him back to play offs and plan for a championship. You know, it's all it's all you know, strategic and it's steps in the make the right steps and directions to play for a championship. So every day, just coming out here, staying true to the game, staying disciplined and consistent, all type of things going to it. And then eventually, you know, when you look at them to season, especially things out there. What will be the biggest difference in your game this year compared to the first two years. It's a lot of a lot of small nuances and details play a big part in this game because you know everyone's talented guys watched them. You know, you have to be real disciplined in detail to once you do as you success in this league, you wanna say consistent, but you also when they wanted weaknesses and there's a lot of little things I could do better. That will help helped me with a lot when my game though that will create bigger results. So just a little things taking coaching correcting the mistakes, not making the same mistake twice. Just attention to detail all those. The little things you're talking about, cleaning up, mistakes, attention to detail. Anything else. Yeah, just always trying to become a complete player always trying to, you know, max out my potential and then maxed out again, it's every day just, you know, ask him what he wants being in the right place at the right time. Moving and change getting first downs, converting third downs, all types of stuff. You know, just help. Anything that helps. I've I to save is all the things that I'm trying to enhance Michael. Do you draw any motivation from the fact that this off season, we've seen players like Jarvis Landry and Mike Evans and Stefan digs get paid big money..

"Now, my colleague idiots PIN Ryan Clark to discuss some of the players in today's game, and we'll be joined by the New Orleans Saints Pro Bowl wide receiver. Michael Thomas who discusses his expectations for the coming season. But first, Ryan Clark, thirteen years in the NFL as an undrafted free agent, which is a legendary run. How does somebody play for thirteen years when nobody wants them out of college, a lot of blesses and look at them. You know, it was one of those things. It was kinda what helped me played thirty years because even when you get an opportunity to start and you play a ton, you always feel like the guy and a lot of cases because they treat you that way like you. They're always trying to figure out a way. To replace you because they remember the negatives or the things they thought you couldn't do coming into the league. And you look back at the Washington Redskins. I star for them for two years show and tell her and I have a great tandem, add safety, and what do they do? They run out and make Atta March letter. The highest pay safety in the game because still they remember atom running fast and being strong. These crazy workout tapes s compares. It is under the guy who didn't run as fast who wasn't as big. And so you continue to fight your whole way through your career. And that's what kept me training and kept me eating right and doing things that allowed me to play thirteen years. There's a stigma that comes along with being undrafted free. Oh, absolutely. Absolutely. There's a stigma that comes along with nobody wanting you with seven rounds of draft going by and not one team. Not on there. I tried out in a second. Try not on their eighth. Try some teams, even thinking you're good enough to be picked even thinking. You're good enough to have a contract where you get some type of money that's guaranteed. And so when they see those things. They remember the negatives about you and usually those things are physical right used it. Those things are are measurable. So they're always looking for the person with a better measurable until you find a way to play yourself out of a James. Harrison eventually found a way to play himself out of it. I eventually found a way to play myself out of it, but it takes years. How do you do that? I think you gotta just continue to show him right because when you are, here's what I always tell guys went out, train them while I meant to them is when you're a first round guy, you have to do everything you possibly can to prove to team that you cannot play right. And usually when teen feels like you can't play look at like ghosts, and that gets dragged from the New York Jets when that team feels like you can't play. There's another team who was drafted in twelve or fifteen that year when you went top five, this is, oh, no. I remember this guy he could play for me and when you're undrafted guy, you have to prove over and over and over again that you can't play. So when was that moment that you knew that you had overcome it? Is much you could overcome and that you had arrived and that people weren't looking at you as Ryan Clark, the undrafted free agent, but rather Ryan Clark, the safety who can play because that's how I think of you. Right. I'll be honest with you had a very good year my first year in Pittsburgh, but they drafted Anthony Smith from Syracuse. Guy was a forty inch vertical. He was built. He was the guy that guaranteed that the Steelers are going to beat the agents. Guy, right?.
