"What welcome back to the program. Us congressman thomas massie from kentucky How're things on the form well. The peaches are ripening. And they're doing great. But i had a breakout of pinkai am i heard which have never had in years and i hear that a lot of my neighbors have of them so we got good and bad going on on the farm speaking of of farming You you tweeted this out about a study on. Us dear Dear found in the country that have been harvested I guess for crop damage with corona virus antibodies. Yeah that is fascinating to this study. It was done by the usda. I'd i don't think they held the deer down and took blood samples i think they were probably harvested as as part as we talked about as part of a damage control and They found out that like thirty or forty percent of these deer had corona virus. Antibodies specifically not just any corona virus. Because there are lots of corona viruses. Sars d. o. v. two antibodies and so people may be thinking. Well how do you know. That's not some cross immunity from some other corona virus. Well they go back and and looked at the deer back in december and before december and the antibodies don't exist so they came into existence in the deer population starting in january. The these saggio v. Two antibodies and they. It's like states like michigan and pennsylvania are where they tested i. I'm not sure if they tested any in kentucky and west virginia. But here's here's my takeaway from this tom. You're not gonna eradicate this virus with a vaccine unless you've vaccinate every living thing on the planet and have zero escape from the vaccine which we've already seen that there is escape from the vaccine and otherwise in other words. The virus has mutated to evade the vaccine in israel. They say that the vaccine they were saying was only sixty percent effective against The delta variant. Now it may be lower than that. They're saying and and that the vaccine wears off quickly. They found that the breakthrough cases were much more prevalent in people who'd been vaccinated say before march than those who'd been vaccinated since march and and israel even their prime minister's already got his booster shot. They're going to recommend that older people. Take it but getting back to this dear situation. The other thing that i took away from this is while the. Usda has been more diligent at tracking.

"Hello everybody and thank you for tuning into the liberty report today. We're doing this by audio but We are with you and we will be reporting as usual and we have our our co host. Dan you make adams on the line and you control the program morning. Talk to paul good to be here doing the show. A new format for the day and yet The subject just similar all the time the defensive liberty we know about that. That's a big picture. The small picture has been in. The last year has gain. Most attention has been the story about co bit and the lockdown on which. We've been highly critical. But i think today dan you. We have a few things that we can say that. Maybe there's light at the end of the tunnel but never lecture guard so yeah we will be talking about that and and then you. We talked a little while ago about our friend putting out a press clips some on the subject. And that's thomas massie talked about His favourite organization the c. d. c. And he had a little suggestion. I think it's a talking on the wrong direction. He he's he's not quite up with us on just saying fire cheesy. Yeah that's a good idea. Fire off everybody all of the whole leadership and i think that sounds pretty. Good to me. You'll but i might. After that's done i think he should go the next step. Get rid of the cdc. And i think the analogy was. I'm always as so many. Supporters support auditing. The fed. Not that that will satisfy is to expose them. And then after you know about the fed you get rid of it. So that's about what we need to do. It doesn't mean that single function has to be totally eliminated but it means that the bureaucracy has to be eliminated and this is a big bureaucracy when you think the highest paid official of all the bureaucracy and the country is the guy that runs the. Cdc has i she so that should annoy a lot of people. And and then. I think people are are waking up and thomas makes a few good points here today with With his his little comments. Because he's been on this early on it's not a johnny come lately he He wasn't In favor of all this nonsense ever so. I think that's a step right direction. Certainly yes him he He tweeted out earlier. The government response to this virus. Potus anything is that everyone at the top of the cdc needs to be fired. It's being far too generous to characterize their constant stream of live as misinterpretations typos. And that's a pretty strong statement constant stream of live. You know dr paul. We've been covering this very closely for the last year so much. They were too obsessed with it but it seems to me. At least it's the greatest threat that we've seen to our liberty in a long time..

"Limited freedoms to people fully vaccinated against covid nineteen and thomas massie replies to it imagine believing. The cdc is a giver of freedoms. You know heads had but but it's it's pretty funny when you look at the. Cdc is giving you limited freedoms you know it's really striking basic principle. Where freedom come from you know they come from the cdc. That's a challenge. Somebody writes about that. The cdc cannot provide as our liberties nor can the federal government nor can public educational system. And that's really where philosophic challenges is as weird wire liberties come from. And where do i responsible come from. And of course we've been battling out but You know people do have a renewal of the spirit of liberty. Sometimes but later day you know when things get so bad There will be. The remnant comes alive again and said well. You know what they're this can be done differently and it had been done differently and it's called self reliance and honesty but But anyway it's going to continue as long as the people put up with it and so for you know on a few things that's happened here recently Even though things have changed a little bit here in the state. And i remember. I'd have to admit i was a little bit more excited about the. You might have to wait a minute. We have to wait and read the you know the fine lies of all of us now. Guess what You know this whole thing in texas where abbott gave us all this freedom back to is There's there's some luke polls there for him to Steal put up with all this nonsense. And i what is special day to day. This was supposed to be a new birth of freedom today. I don't know. I don't think that i hope we just have A new birth of You know curiosity of trying to get more people to understand what's really going on. And why the concept of liberty and who provides true liberty Is thought about it and thought through because that that is the issue as if as long as we depend on the couch. We're in big trouble. Today is an important day because this is the day we're giving our independence again from the governor and you know. He issued a new executive order last week. Took effect today on wednesday sold as eliminating the mask mandate and opening everything one hundred percent. There there is some fine print in there. That's not super exciting. And unfortunately he extended the disaster. The cova does state of disaster again. Once again however starting to change tune dr paul when i look out there when i google this whole thing and i look at the people that are absolutely flipping out at him viciously attacking him for what he's done. I have to admit. I feel a tinge of sympathy for him. I didn't take some courage for him to do the right thing. as we've said before on this show if he had been courageous from the beginning and been more like a santa so christie numb he would have not had to take all of these slings and arrows for changing his tune but he didn't display the courage that he should have upfront nevertheless we still have to applaud him. Let's look at this next clip. Because when you have these people hating on you you are doing the right thing here. Cnn dr writing. Jonathan rainier greg. Abbott delusional ideas about kobe. Oh he's delusional. He's mentally ill. However when you look at this article what's really delusion..

"But what happens when you take a billion dollars and throw it down on one side. Which is a cdc side. Which has thomas messy points out is a little bit less than honest and forthcoming in. Its in its data if you put it all on that side then. The other side of the debate. Sofas doesn't have the access and in fact gets kicked off of social media and is denied any place in the public sphere. So the idea that you can't really have a conversation when you take a billion dollars and put it on one side of the scale and the other side doesn't so that's a real problem and i really hats off to thomas massie for pointing this out. I think it's pretty disgusting. to me. this this is a direct attack on liberty voluntarism people making their own choices self reliance which is something that americans pride themselves in at one time but no this is saying that the american people are stupid. They don't know what to do. They don't know whether they don't have the right to reject or accept Do what they want. They don't trust liberty and And so the money is literally as everything. The government spends i think is a challenge to liberty. I mean there's not much there. Even though i think that's the sole purpose of government is to protect our liberties for us to solve our problems. But here this is very direct. But i would predict that It's a lot more than a billion dollars in this This bill here That goes to this purpose of taking power and privileges that way from the people and they that they need to check with ouchi. What do we have to know what she says because there's still a lot of people that way is i. You can understand why the major progressive stations are are doing it. They they know exactly what they're doing. They have an agenda but It's it's pretty amazing. How many people who would not want to be considered you know progressive Leftist socialist type of thing but They they they have accomplished one thing. That the the chief Chief person to pass out the propaganda is she's litmus test but i would say little bit less than it was six months ago i think so. That's for sure. Well we're on the topic of massive. You can't avoid putting this other tweet that he put up. He's been on fire lately and we always enjoy watching. Here's here's c. n. n. has a breaking news tweet the cdc releases guidelines giving.

"Co host daniel. Good to see you. Are you willing to paul doing well doing well early in the day. And but you know we find some good stuff. We're going to start off with a good guy day saying the right things but but he's one of few you know in in the house. I think we have a couple in the senate. There's a few there that's the whole problem of people to that will really stick to their guns and do what they say they're doing and what they're doing is the right thing to do. But we want to talk a little bit about thomas massie from kentucky and we also want to recognize bob. Wenzel who has a website target. Liberty also has an educational site. He's a guy worth following fact Would we don't find stuff about the speed. We go a little bit bob site. We find out so he had this up. He found a tweet. You know by thomas and anytime you see anything by thomas. Mass hits worth worth Reading and listening to because He's one of the fusion you can trust. We don't have to go. And and fact check thomas massie but but anyway They wanted to talk about. The budget is he. Did did a blog Tweet on on the budget people. Yeah the stimulus package. A lot of people do that. You know everybody knows. It's one point two trillion dollars to additional two. Three three or four before is hard to hard to keep up with it and you know in the conservative. They're doing a good job. But you know what i think of when i hear somebody come up with a good thing and say well we really bad and it's really stupid and they get their attention. Why in the world that we need to strike that and i got to thinking about you know a package especially like this because Even this might apply to the whole budget and that is why. Why don't you start with striking the whole thing. I mean how much there is going to Fit into the constitution article. One section eight and The principles of liberty and independence and this sort of thing very very little but anyway Thomas had points out here that There was a billion dollars there. And as i seriously joke seriously say some day. That billion dollars might add up to a lot of money you know for some people it's thrown around So what's wouldn't puny one billion dollars at one point nine trillion plus all the other stuff is just sort of peanuts except when you think about one. Half of our population who standard of living is going down sharply and nobody's hardly even talking about that so The one billion dollars is designated For a little bit of education Sometimes we refer to it as propaganda but who ever believe that governments would do. Propaganda propaganda is secret. It's a plight word for lying because we can't call people liars..

Questions Arise Over CDC Guidance on COVID-19 Vaccines

"A lot of Americans Congressman Thomas Massie already had coronavirus and wanted to know if he should still get a covid-19 seem most everyone has had covid-19 is considered immune but how long immunity last is unknown whether it's after infection or vaccination on award winning scientists himself as he quickly found that vaccine studies showed no benefit to people who've had coronavirus vaccination didn't change their odds of getting reinfected. The controversy began when Massey noticed the CDC was claiming the exact opposite cdc's advisory committee on immunization practices had just issued a high-profile report offered by fifteen scientists. It wrongly claimed Pfizer study proved. The vaccine is highly effective or showed consistent High efficacy for people who'd already had coronavirus. Thar's Covey to it says the exact opposite of what the data says. They're giving people the impression that this vaccine will save your life, even or you know save you from suffering even if you've already had the virus and recovered which has not been demonstrated in either the Pfizer or the moderna trial the mystery deepened when Massey contacted CD-ROM for an explanation as he says he was so alarmed by the misinformation he decided to record the calls on a December 16th. Call cdc's Captain Amanda Cohn C ROM Agree that people who've had coronavirus shouldn't rush to get vaccinated. You know given that there's limited doses right now where we are you suggesting that those people who wait for that suggestion to wait has it always gotten out. Should I get the vaccine if I've already had covered it experts say it's a good idea because they're not sure how protected you are after recovering our full measure investigation examined the database reporting illness after covid-19 scenes. It shows numerous people are getting vaccinated even though they've already have the virus some experts say that's depriving others who need the vaccine most health officials in many kids say they don't have enough vaccine. It's happening across the country promised doses not delivered on the call. In fact Massey for flagging they're mistaken claim that vaccines were proven to work for people who've had coronavirus. I think we'd read that way. She'll go down the other stuff. You know, we just skipped right over it with we know we can't be perfect. I mean they're working on this thing will forever after be known at all but legalized. Okay, and they said thank you for finding the mistake. We're going to fix this and I thought well, okay problem solved. This is how government works but it didn't quite turn out that way two days later the same doctor KO nud probes to fix joined other CDC doctors in repeating the false information this time in an online session for medical professionals. They wrongly claimed studies show people who've had coronavirus home do benefit from the vaccine.

Congress wanted to pass this this spending bill of two trillion dollars largest spending package in American history and wanted to do it just as a just as you know the the and no contest I can't remember so what are the what they call those votes I don't have to even unanimous consent will nobody was even there nobody was even there so China Thomas Massie got into his car on Thursday and started driving towards the capital because he felt that everybody needed to be there ascential workers I mean this would be a central part of your job wouldn't it Congress and he wanted to be there and he said we we've got to have everybody vote on this this this is huge and it's full of waste and everything else well no good deed goes unpunished that's not popular on either side Thomas Massey is here to join us and and to tell us what what he was thinking and what he's thinking now hi Thomas how are you how you doing go and look this was about Congress trying to avoid accountability for the largest wealth transfer from the middle class to the moneyed class in the history of mankind even the Roman emperors couldn't pull this off and they want it like you said they wanted to do it by unanimous consent now they first said we don't need to be there and I said no the constitution says otherwise to do legislative business at least half of you need to be there then they said we can't make it on time I said you're telling people to stay home of course they're not going to get here on time if you're telling them to stay home and by the way my intention wasn't to delay this bill that's why I shared my **** strategy with the leadership days before.

McCarthy said you know what let's just pass this on unanimous consent and tell everybody to stay home don't bother coming to Congress the problem with that Shannon is this is the third a corona virus bell by the way I'm voting for the first one this is the third when Nancy Pelosi already has a fourth one plan if you watch the debate he never Kratz we're talking about what they're going to put the fourth bill but you know if we get this habit of just passing bills and nobody even comes to work and they pass that's really dangerous he does have a point he's right about that he does have a point now whether or not that that point I think that point probably got lost to most people but he does have a point meanwhile was offered about stimulus and how big it is Newt Gingrich was on with mark Livin I saw that he's an employee he's stuck in Italy right now he's you know he's quarantined in a in a home in in Italy and he's not going anywhere anytime soon but they got into the stimulus packages that we passed so far and how they got to be so big I think this is like being in a war I think it was psychologically very important to get that bill passed and get it passed with ninety six to zero hello most of the momentum I hope the DA will receive a continued movement in this kind of legislation what I also think there's a lot more bills coming and I think every person who is upset about this bill should call their congressmen call their senators in store right now to build a fire if you will against anymore the Portland the thing is what happens is you change something we really need to do let's say Troy and the Troy into ninety seven actually come rushing in with the Kennedy center or somebody else comes rushing in with something else they want and it just gets bigger and bigger and bigger and I tell people that there's the page of the bill the pork in the bill the tools the training normally gets it done by the way speaking of the coming center did you say they let older people go for the ball off they got that money and now what what was the money for what we need to not only their employees what would we need the twenty five million for if they're not paying their employees I don't get that what was the what was that they had some capital improvements planned well like I said the biggest problem I have with all these things is just the accounting afterwards how the money is spent because once once they get the money ultimately they saw that before show that under Obama you know the shovel ready projects just a Linda exactly by.

House leadership advises members to return to DC as Rep. Massie weighs roll call vote on stimulus package

"Here's the thing about the whole situation with without massive we were talking about it acid being the the representative from Kentucky the Republican yes Kentucky right talking about possibly objecting to the voice vote so essentially procedurally you know they ask for voice if nobody objects they go to a voice well right but if someone objects they have to call everybody and they got to get a quorum which is two hundred sixteen members right the report is one source saying gas the Massey show right now so he's running the whole thing what well the thing is is you're not going to before represented a Massey you're not going to change anything right you may get you know you may get some Flack from your you want should possibly show your constituents in your district in Kentucky that you stood ground and you want to force it to a vote so you can be on record of saying no but it's not going to change anything and I don't know that it helps you much and you're just right because every I'm glad you explained that because in a voice vote either you are not registered right for for how you voted and so apparently he wants to make it clear but house leadership advise members on Thursday to it last night Thursday evening to come back to Washington on Friday morning if possible as tall tall or top lawmakers told the hill dot com they anticipate that representative Thomas Massie Republican of Kentucky would call for a roll call vote on the two trillion dollar stimulus package passed in the Senate earlier this week house Majority Leader Steny Hoyer and house minority leader Kevin McCarthy aim to pass the bipartisan measure via voice vote in the lower chamber in an attempt to minimize the health risks for members who have traveled long distances amid the pandemic but according to multiple house members messages threatening to derail leaders plans taking issue with its cost and the process used to pass it through the upper chamber Mr horror and Mr McCarthy previously expected that the vote on HR seven eighty four of the corona virus aid relief and economic security act would be done by voice vote but there is now a possibility that the house Republican may suggest a quorum that if a court that suggested of a quorum is not present an attempt to call for a recorded vote on final passage sources and horrors press shop said we have notified our members of the possibility that the bill may not passed by voice vote the majority leader's office has sent notice to members that if they are they are able and willing to be in Washington DC by ten AM to do so they are encouraged to do so while exercising all due caution so there you go yeah and it's going to pass and yeah it's I mean it's gonna pass we know what's well if you just if you're doing this just to put yourself on record for your you know constituents in your district this isn't the one this isn't the battle to pick I understand as a fiscal conservative I get it if you're looking at this the weight Lindsey Graham looked at it and a lot of people looked at it then Lizzy Graham you know fought the fight and try to get as a member of post on that unemployment thing limiting that unemployment so people wouldn't make more on unemployment total than they do with their jobs right now I get that but the point is is that you're going to be the one guy and trust me things change when people are waiting for that cash because they've been told now for what probably the last twenty four thirty six maybe forty eight hours how much money they're going to get they've been able to figure out how much money they're going to get even in your district representative Massey there are people who may be otherwise fiscally conservative but they're going to bite the bullet here because they want that money in their bank accounts the point is is that I don't think this battle works for you politically I don't think it works for anybody politically right now because you simply say I was one of the notes for the for the for the voice vote but it's not going to be an issue now this is not going to be that issue if you wanted if you really wish to start off is to stand up as we've said in normal times it's like you and I were looking at at social media yesterday and we said where were all these people in so called conservatives in normal times right when we were the ones railing against where the Republicans were going and taking you know taking the hits Ford from Republicans who now believe in much more government spending in normal time price the the problem is the problem of where we've gotten to is not because of even flawed bills that are passed in dire emergencies in extraordinary time brought it's because we spend too much in normal times right and I saw a ton on social media yesterday of Republican conservatives who were outraged you know for example by twenty five million dollars you know for the national domino the arts of the Kennedy center whatever and just furious about it as if the world had ended yeah right anyone I asked where were you the last couple of years where were you when Republicans were in charge where were you Republicans are saying well we can't find it now get well now you're going to fight it right and some of the money being spent you know when you talk about those things is not a great day look twenty five million twenty five million but it's not a great deal of money when we look at the spending that has been done in other places which is the hot in in the form of hundreds of billions of dollars right yeah the permanent stuff I mean you look at the like the permanent change that we've we've seen with more more the tendency to spend more and more and a run of a trillion dollar deficit I'm not blink I look I don't remember maybe he was but I don't remember Massey in those times being you know the the the forefront on fox news at look I'm gonna be on fox news and say the spending that that the Republican Party is going for and you people on fox or even endorsing mmhm but you're not fighting for this where was he then right if you're damn furious about it to hold this up where were you back then again on principle I might agree with you in fact I had several worry right I'm telling you it if you're looking for political points in your district this isn't about this isn't the one this is a good this is not going to get you that win it's

"Thomas Massie represents Kentucky's fourth congressional district that stretches all across northern Kentucky two hundred and eighty miles of the Ohio River he is now he's a smart guy I mean he's no Glenn and still but he did go to M. I. T. he's on three different committees the house committee for transportation infrastructure the committee on oversight and government reform I'd love for you and the committee on science space and technology he is he's also the guy who last night took me down to the skiff and took a picture of me at the door of the skiff wouldn't let me in for some reason wouldn't let me in but we were down where that those all the secret meetings went on with the with the whistle blower welcome Thomas how are you yes you bet first of all let's start with the the well we're we're halfway through a historic twenty four hours yeah we got the state of the union last night which was just outrageously good in my opinion and then in fact what four o'clock this afternoon the Senate's going to vote to acquit yeah this is it it's amazing slice of history this twenty four hour window yeah and to be their last night was just amazing on the floor the house I started out by shaking the president's hand as he came in yeah and thanking him for the work that he's done and then boy when he started into that speech I think there's Democrats had super glue on their on their seats because they refused to stand up for the I mean just if he had said apple pie or baseball or any meaning that time you could have come out and said I'd like socialism and they would if they would not have clapped and they would not have gotten up that's right I mean in no matter what he said even it was stuck they've always been for the I mean he would he would he talk about many things that they have been for and they couldn't applaud they could applaud at at the lowest unemployment rate the love the highest employment rate for African Americans ever the highest employment rate for Hispanics and Asians women nothing nothing nothing it would it was incredible he got a few of them to clap for criminal justice reform because he co sponsored the bill but even people that voted for that bill wouldn't get up and clap or even acknowledge that the president did something good by signing the bill let me ask you this last year I was your guest the state of the union and I felt it was remember that the president was kind of he was almost squirrely at a couple of times he go come on you can clap for that remember yeah I would look right to write I have to go come on and it was still a little good natured right last night I felt from them hatred I mean I that room was full day hate him seething see needing a treasured and you know I shook the president's hand when he came in to do so I had to sit on the aisle yeah so I was just a few feet from those Democrats who would not stand up for the president for anything for anything good about America and I would look over at the end where a kid looking over and touch on some of them and just look at him in the eyes and and think what is going to your head right now white what is it that you hate about this man so much that you're gonna be so spiteful and hate our country me when he just talked in generalities about the country and how we need to put Americans first they wouldn't stand up not a single one of them could I see clapping when he said we need to put America and Americans first right I mean in the there were things last night that he said I thought this was a wildly uniting speech because everything's in there that pissed me off you know when he was not me too yeah high speed internet for everybody in like that's the government's job and that's one of the things that they were demanding before was high speed internet high speed internet for everybody well good I'm I'm for that let's have companies do that not the United States government and they are you know because how long did we spend on the stupid internet thing a yes Roman other yeah what was the the lump Lumbee tribe yeah the lobby try rated at one clip they didn't have any they didn't have any high speed internet no bomb I wanted a high speed internet for everybody here he is proposing it and they won't stand up they won't even clap he didn't extend an olive branch he extended an olive tree he did had all of orchard he day and they didn't take any of the family leave act I mean holy cow by the way I didn't vote for the family are you back in the I know that and he's proposing to extend to extend it yeah yeah a private company right right and to me that was he was trying to build a bridge to the yeah was it was a that was a bridge a little far yet but it will all the stuff you talk about the unions right he talked about the union's last night and of course the the new nafta agreement was a gift to the unions nothing nothing crickets on on their side and I mean that's just incredible because some of those folks have cosponsored those bills render them voted for those bills right but they just hate him so much this is so how are we going to get through the next four and a half years you know he's got a spanking at the ballot box again yeah for them to learn that he's in line with American Americans and they're not I mean this was basically laying the framework for the twenty twenty election board for the stark contrast that what was in about an election but you could see the stark contrast between what president trump stands for and what the Democrats stand for and when he put he laid out a vision for America and you know the state the state of the unions are speeches are supposed to be and and often times are hopeful and he did that at the end I mean he was talking about that was the best speech that's the best speech he's given last year I thought it was the best speech he's given he's good at this which still are talking about it never would have expected him to be good at a state of the union address because he's just not a great reader is not great speech giver and he's good off the cuff in his own way expected rallies expected one liners that debates I don't expect these were his date of the union he's good I think yeah this was a re defining of the state of the union address I think this one I mean when you know there were so many the thing is boring it's not every year let's be honest but the chrysalis was was anything but boring is actually if you were in the room I don't know how this how to translate not in the room still could you feel the hatred not as much as you're saying I mean they certainly GB here jeers occasionally all they were they were non stop yeah they were non stop you can't hear what's really going down on the floor I know you can't hear it you can't see it it was non stop they got to a point towards the end I don't know if you notices scholars but you are close enough to it they got to a point to where the one one woman actually put her head in her hands and just laid down in her own lap just like I ate I can't do it anymore much two or three of them walk out yeah three of them I saw yeah and literally at times he had to speak over them yet because they were jeering so loudly now if you are watching it on TV the sound was being picked up by his microphone so you wouldn't have gotten the entire ambiance of the room right which at times was was jeers from the Democrats right he just instead of acknowledging them or us plow he threw out through all that it is he he did I mean that was an expert last night in expert performance at just plowing through and I wondered if you heard that because many many times he was being jeered by them and he just raised his voice and he just didn't stop yeah I know that's what we're going to and that was smart because it was not detectable largely I wish it was yeah I really I really wish people could see the state of the union the way I've seen at the last two years because you it's a totally different world can I admit to breaking with decorum at one point in yes beach in the beginning we started chanting we start a little chant where I was four more years yeah yeah that came out I heard did you hear that yeah yeah okay well I participated yeah it was and you know it's funny is every time the the Republicans really responded with a year yeah was when he was covering for them that's right it it will end it I mean can I it back yes thank you out of the gallery he didn't drag me out of the gallery but they must have but there was a couple of times to where I didn't necessarily even fully agree with you know all the the at it I agreed with it but I wasn't like year but because they jeered when people started to collapse I was first on my feet going year yeah I know and the guy he's the X. three is of this guy from Oklahoma and the other one was care or the other one was from and a guy from North Dakota in front and they were they were mad your guys yeah in the eighties they were a lift in the roof off with the group that I sat with we resolved every time that we heard the Democrats jeering at him while he was trying to speak that when he was done speaking that we would clap twice as loudly you heard it yeah I heard it you heard that at least in the room we we're going to continue our conversation because there was there were a couple of really touching things I watched Ilan Omar and Rasheeda to leave closely and their statement when they walked out we just couldn't take it anymore wait until I share what I witnessed because I watch them like a hawk as I watch them last year you can learn an awful lot from just watching those two and wait until I tell you the real story about their dramatic walkout where they just couldn't take it anymore coming up in just a second also Chris Stewart is going to be joining us we have Israel.

"Called the Iran war powers resolution so you had eight Democrats voted against below sea but yet three Republicans Matt Gage Frances Rooney Thomas Massie all voting all cross the three of them crossing party lines to vote for hello she used dean and I don't get it I just don't get it Matt Gage was on last night I mean here's here's cut a lead here areas on the floor of the house cut number twelve from C. span and there isn't a more solidly trump supporting American congressmen the mac gates and yet here he was explaining why he is siding with Nancy Pelosi and voting against president trump in voting for this non binding war powers resolution I take a backseat to no member of this body when it comes to defending the president this resolution offers no criticism of the president no critique doesn't criticize the president's attack on Seoul Monty matter fact this resolution doesn't even say soul Montes name it yeah it does articulate our very robust basis for self defense at times even preemptory self defense to defend our troops and it also articulates are non del double duty as members of the United States Congress to speak to matters of war and peace I represent more troops than any other member of this body I buried one of them earlier today at Arlington and that sergeant died a patriot and a hero if the members of our armed services have the courage to go and fight and die in these wars as Congress we ought to have the courage to vote for or against them and I think it's ludicrous to suggest that we are impairing the troops from doing their job by not doing our job articulated in the constitution to speak to these matters of war and peace I support the president killing soul money was the right decision but engaging in another forever war in the Middle East would be the wrong decision and that's why I'm voting for this resolution I yield back gradually since congressman gates you're voting with Nancy Pelosi you're voting for the resolution that was sponsored by Alyssa slot can the Democrat from Michigan I I I I I'm still baffled by his his defense that well doesn't criticize press of course you criticize that's the whole point of it is to criticize the president injury and to to to handcuff him to rein him in it literally is meant to limit president trump's ability to deal with Iran as he

"You had to heal with these conceivable which were stupidly expensive. And here's also the kicker when you're out how grinding and fighting random mobs you have to toggle whether you're going to earn experience from that battle or if you're gonNA earn items it was so bad. It was such a high any game do you look at. Why would you do that? The headline just popped up on my phone Amazon. Under fire for selling off Schlitz Christmas ornaments. Oh can we look at us us. Let's not okay so final fantasy seven remakes coming out in two thousand twenty S. Well and it. You're not a fan of the cover. Where clouds do you know looking up at shooter? Tower and towery and hold into sorta it's reversible cover. He gives do the whole place at work where it's like black with a little video or the finalized some logo and then the one with cloud reenacted with better graphics looking at you look up at the thing with that being said. I found it when I was looking at the artwork for. I'm excited for his role and remake jockeyed Carolina Salama Mallory. But with that the case I was looking at it and I just find it so off that it just says final fantasy seven and literally the word remake. You just call the pharmacy seven. Everyone would do the job of parentheses twenty twenty like what they did with do do yeah parentheses two thousand sixteen so I really call dude. Twenty sixteen hours refers it to that same resident evil two resident evil two nineteen. But it's not literally called resident evil to remake. We're I just felt it was weird that it actually says the word reading on there. I didn't really hit me until I was looking at the box. Art where I'm just like it really says remake doesn't like that's actually on the thing I don't know it to be amazing look of cheap cheap a little project name on there as weird caller that everyone should refer to it as that you know the actually put it. Yes that was one of those calls where I really do question but we'll see Ten cent lovely lovely ten cent by another developer Suba Games or whatever they ended up by fifty million shares on ten percent of the company. Now tencent is doing their thing. Where ten percent here ten cent there Eh? And doing all that stuff with the case. That's just like they have their hooks and everything but to the point where it's just it's big enough where like people would be scared to piss them off but lil enough where they don't go. Everything's owned by ten cents like try to avoid a monopoly type thing but like it can't be hooks and so many things a little scary. If you do a research your ear big video game Fan Guy Look at how especially if you're in the mainstream games look at how the Games you know may not say tencent upfront. But on the back end of things things they have a stake in their of very five ten plus percent at the Games fifty percent. Think about that. Look into that and you'd be really scared scared. How many things have really do have in the background bill? The puppet strings tencent influence. It's crazy that's not a moral company. That's for sure they are what you would expect from a huge tyrant Chinese corporation like they just want everything on a slice of all the pies. It's crazy. Yeah they they bought a stake in another studio just getting really scary big and small homages buying in. Oh that's it for the week and then that's it we're there we made of you. "Now and then be occurred occurred assessment at the moment he to channel like a few to consistently watch over the past few years years I guess it just depends like I guess one of the main people that I watch is she's this nail nail artists. Well kind of her. Name's Christine Aka simply neurological. I've watched a lot of the videos just because I was super into now. Are you years ago. I've done a lot of my own nail nail art designs and I just love watching your videos and seeing her slowly he ball from no like total nail artist to branching out and trying different things and Like she was fine the way to keep city entertaining. So that's one of the people that I definitely have consistently washed on. I love Buzzfeed unsal of like scary like we the people who go into like paranormal places. We're talking about like crying and whatnot. And they sort of hit that criteria had on so So that's one of the people that I really enjoy watching I guess it just depends and I know that a lot of like youtubers who were famous no longer are active and I really keep up with the people who are like famous. Now I guess you could say just because they're trendy and interesting and whatnot and like they'd like to do paying through like I'm I'm I'm just not I guess they could say that's that's that's called the good person it's good to hear that I'm honestly sometimes. It just seems like such cheap low quality content at times. Well the biggest wrong is a lot of that stuff is also super script. Yeah people the Bangalore those channels that try to make us candidate in the big problem with that is it's gotten susceptible usually younger people and a lot of trouble imitating those channels that are obviously safe and fake and get themselves into some dicey situations because because they copy someone like that so. I'm glad you run into that. That's good news Shows or a recent movie that you checked out lately that you really served Shows I will always love Like the office a good place Brooklyn nine nine Basically like Sitcom I love the COMMS. I've always loved brand Things like that movies lies. I haven't really really had the time to let go to a theater and watch a movie. I love horror movies ever saw. I love how like intricately McKinley planned it was. I've watched all seven movies like within like less than a week. I think like I just finished. Watch it and didn't sleep at all. I hope that when you were younger to Not Not so. I watched on gentler over but not that one. I watched that one because when I first came on hiatus when I was in when I came back then I was basically just resting less time because of my concussion and my doctor said like Oh. You can't do anything too strenuous so I just spent most of my my time like indoors resting and That was the time right. I washed a lot of movie even hundred. TV shows a solid one on and just been like my favorite on movie. Since then I just love how alike perfectly planned. It was and I don't like a lot of paranormal type movies just because it seems a unrealistic and be like I don't know that freaks me out a bit more something that could be possibly realistic which we're The I don't love paranormal tightening over like crying movies. I guess solid one of the movie spot or they stuck with me and I watched like every single one including jigsaw which is which is really good. Good one with saw. Sometimes you have to binge watch them because because like yeah part five was one of those weird ones where they like reference plot points that you it kind of just forget about in the third and fourth so I would watch it all at once for it all to make sense so everything everything is connected and they all happened around the same time point and then if you watch it all at once and you're like Oh my God all makes sense now but if you were to watch it at like certain times apart then you'd be like what released. Oh yes apart from this yeah. They came out annually for a while so every time one was coming we now. It's like okay. Well I got a marathon. Yes Yeah I forget which one it was but I I saw one. I hadn't watched the previous ones for so long. I was just like acquaint what it. What are they referencing? Jan Jigsaw was really good. I never saw jigsaw. So check that out now interesting yeah. I don't know if you've seen it on instagram. But they dressed their little children of as like main characters from Horror films to find it but the cutest little jigsaw kid. He's like riding a tricycle and he has his bagel smile on his face. And I just love to send it to you because it's just so adorable. I'll have to find instagram page. WHO's I mean? They have one of like a it it they have one trick or treat Mike on it. It's just like a bunch of little kids like like yes. This is my whole life right now. that and then the next thing was stilted I know I have the run. I don't know why said okay so what I was GONNA say. I contacted me when you did that. That's when I realized that I I is that I said Yeah Department residencies. I said no anyways. Favourite place you've got travel to you whether it's in the states or overseas and then what other what is like your dream place to go to you haven't been able to visit yet okay. So the one place that I loved visiting was Japan. We went there twice. The first time was to do our jacket album photo shoot and That was that was really really fun like we stayed at this. I guess it was like a Japanese version of like Amsterdam stayed there around and we did a few photo shoots and then like we traveled to different parts of Japan Just like taking pictures and videos and whatnot and then experiences France is great and then we came back for cake on Japan shortly after so I think like Japan was one of the favorite places I visited good and then a place that I wanNA visit like. I haven't gone to Europe yet so I'd love to travel like just go to Europe and then just travel to she just country since it's all sort of connected Yeah that's I have so many places that I want to travel to the future and I just the able to come off. That'd be great and honestly that would also make for some really. You don't want to always tie your life to creating creating content but at the same time it would be really cool to capture all that and share it and everything especially so. Yeah that is really really cool though. Def definitely the only thing the European any been any you're being countries. I went to Japan for like layover solely visited like whatever the the airport and still need to go to Korea. So there's that but it's really cool to to hear anywhere local that an annual things in the nearby area that you do like doing every year only done anything annually typically for like my birthday take my family and I will travel some place in California that we haven't gone to like last year we went to Palm Springs. It was a great place for me to take a lot of pictures pictures. 'cause I love photography so I was able to get really cool pictures when I went there last year and Like the year before before I don't I don't remember if any place there before but we did go to San Francisco which is great. I would love to live there some day. Yeah Yeah but before I moved out to Korea. We traveled like every year like one year. We went to this really pretty light the house. We went to Monterey Bay Yeah I think there's been to get on citizen into some of the safest throughout like just California itself and we traveled to different states a lot like when I was born. I was born in Indiana and I still have family out out there to revisit neighboring states and whatnot We went down just water few times because my uncle used to live there. And I think like that I've have traveled most places but they're still quite a few states that I haven't been able to go to that. Have you ever been to the humid held at a Texas. I I haven't yet but Recently family sons the there and They told us to come visit. You just haven't women had the time yet. The I heard that it's really pretty areas for sure. Yeah this is humid but have than we have humid it really all right then so guys we know we know we know mailbag you guys wanted to asked a few questions so I went through the thing and if Kyle Kyle you got some time real quick for a few questions from the people that them in okay. We're good we got the approval of all right cool blues clues mealtime Song Right there. That's right so I should I should. I should put the Blues Clues Mail. A letter doesn't hit live. Copyright streaming twenty seconds questions. They're going to be also social media. Email disappeared on gets user. Feels wanted to know. Do you have any particular stories. He's from variety. Shows that person and you promoted on that we didn't cover yet is there anything Any type of remember whether it was on weekly idol. Or whatever where you remember the kind of funny that maybe not a bit on the episode happened Quite Shavuot and not quite sure about nothing episode. But Lemme went on Weekly idol that was crazy episode. A lot was happening. That time I remember us doing that whole Like sort of flutters called like you know all them dances that we did at the time. And my favorite moment was when it was playing one of new song and on members hung and she just like she ran up and she dancing and I love that part so much just because when we were in like in the practice room allow the times like we need stretcher just like play around like we play a lot of like our Elders groups song unlike our senior groups songs and like dance along and whatnot and That was one of those one of the songs that she and like Nova do a lot. They turn it on and then they do the dance that they do it. And like this over exaggerated manner that made it just hilarious watching and it really. They just like it brought up like our energy and Released a little attention especially in the room because no a lot was going on that day. You know We just we wanted to make it feel like a very comfortable environment and when she got up there and did that I immediately felt things like the tension should being released as whole like dance. Play type of things like that was that was one of the most iconic moments while we you're on variety shows. I don't think too many variety shows for sure but I was definitely fun. He was a good one With user disabuse star wanted to know if you obviously you're in prison but did you work with the Iowa girls much and how how is that experience.

"Thomas Massie, one of the great congressman from the great state of Kentucky. Welcome to the program, sir. Thanks for fitting me in this morning, Glenn. You bet. I appreciate it you and I spoke after after I was off air yesterday. And we spoke for a few minutes about what I think is a an embarrassment and a possible tragedy on the way to Covington Kentucky, they are preparing for crazy people doing crazy things. And and I think these kids are heroes. I really think that they demonstrated a Christ like attitude and the attitude of Martin Luther King, and everyone is afraid to come out and say anything, oh, I I agree with you. When everybody was still condemning them, I came out to commend them because they've been coming to Washington DC on their own dime for thirty years. And for the six years that I've been in congress. They've always been welcome at my office. I've done their school. Cheers with them on the steps of the capitol. These are the most fine upstanding students you'll ever meet. And so when I saw that first snippet of video that came out and went viral. I said something doesn't add up here. This can't be the whole story because I know these kids, I know their parents, I know the alumni from this school, this these are the kind of kids that do the right thing not because they're afraid of getting punished, but because they're afraid they'll let down their families or their let down their mentors. And so that by the way, hang on just a second. I want you to know. That's a quote, that's not something. He's just saying that's a quote from one of the former students, we don't we? We don't want to let down our mentors. That's that. Is exactly what you want with kids. That's right. That's what they told me. That's what they told me one of the kids that went there. Oh. I am, you know, this is almost like a psychology experiment. I think everybody needs to step back because a lot of conservatives fell for this first video because we were told here's what you're going to see. And then when you watch it you say, yeah, I guess that's what I am seeing. But without the context of everything else, you're getting duped. And that's what happened to a lot of people. So go ahead. No, no, go ahead. Well, the tragedy of this is is the people who jumped to conclusion in the first twelve hours or the first eight hours who who said something to save their own skin. Now instead of come walking it back. They're saying well now, I need a third party investigation to sort all this out. And we'll we'll get a report on this. They're not they're not exonerating or walking back what they did at this point. So can you help me out? Have you talked to anybody at the school? I know I talked to a Robby George yesterday who was will guy who jumped on the bandwagon on Friday. He's he's very big in the Catholic church. He's I think he's a chair of ethics. Can you help me out on that at Princeton University, and I called him? And he said, Glenn how can I help? He said, I feel so horrible on Friday. I tweeted something that this has to stop. And he said, and then it wasn't until Sunday that I actually saw that. There was extra video, and I did my homework, and he said, I feel horrible. I tweeted immed-. A retraction he said. But nobody's nobody's willing to step up and protect these kids. And I said it's worse than that. The parents haven't heard word one from the school in a hey, we've got your back. The arts diocese is completely silent on this. And they're afraid of funding. They're afraid if they support the kids the liberals will go away and stop the funding. If they if they don't support the kids the conservatives will go away and they'll lose their funding. I mean, this is horrible. I've talked to the alumni, and parents who have reached out to meet and they wanted somebody to speak up for their kids. That's why I came out Sunday supporting these kids with the strongest statement is I could make and I think, you know, hopefully that will give other people cover if there's a congressman out there saying these are good kids, you gotta support them. And by the way, Knicks fan man that kid deserves a mess. Title that kid you and I talked about him for five minutes on the phone yesterday. I would be proud if that kid was my son. There's a lot of times, you know, kids stand up, and they do things and you're like, you put your hand up to your face, and you kind of look through your fingers, and you're like, oh, God, what is my son or daughter going to do or say and this kid was amazing, especially if you watch all of the video he stopped others from getting out of hand. It was amazing. What he what he did? That's right media tried to say he was smirking. But if you if you read a statement, and I completely believe him he was trying to smile so that the other students wouldn't think that he was being intimidated or felt threatened? He was trying to de-escalate it with a smile, and like you said what's off camera in the in the video that went viral. But from another angle with another microphone, you can hear another native American protests. Who is telling one of Nick's classmates? Go back to Europe you stole this land. And Nick turns and with China language by motioning without even saying anything convinces his friend not to reciprocate not to escalate and while he's still got to Germany fake. That is just amazing when you see that. So we have. So, you know, and please if you're listening Facebook, your friends, call your friends, tell everybody, you know, we have a detailed my staff went through all of the video yesterday, and we put together what's in the business called a tick tock, which means what happened minute by minute. We have the video prior to the kids even arriving, and we have watched it now from several different points of view. There was somebody chanting build the wall build the wall. We have the video, but you will not believe who it was. And we're going to do that next hour. We're with Thomas Massie congressman from Kentucky. This is the this is his area. He knows these people in Covington Thomas, what can the average person do to support these kids? Well. I think what needs to happen right now is the principal of the school the diocese. They need to turn this around. They need to act quickly because you know, you need to give people the benefit of the doubt win their children. You definitely need to give them the benefit of the doubt support them support them on social media. I think we're turning this thing around. I really do. The irony is that this was a social media mob that came after Nick and he's classmates, but the irony here is that social media can turn this thing back around because the left leaning media has has really jumped the shark on this one I've got to give credit to to some of the folks at CNN uncharacteristically. They've walked it back a little bit. In that think that's because of the pressure. Even even Democrats look at this and say that could be my kid who's getting docks that could be my house where they're coming to protest. It's it's one thing. Everybody knows Twitter is a dumpster fire, but people are taking that fire in that dumpster and bringing it into Covington. I mean, they they threatened to school so much that the prosecutor in northern Kentucky had to come out and say, look, we're going to prosecute these crimes. This is a crime to threaten at school, and you will be prosecuted. So I think just keep the pressure up keep supporting these kids on on social media, and for your friends who haven't seen the full link video, your your what do you call it tick talk, then it's going to be so important. That's what they need to see. Because not everybody's going to be able to sit through five different video watch four hours of video. So if you put that together that is perfect. I will share that on my Facebook. So everybody can know what really happened. Okay. So can you help me with? What happens to what was his name Wheeler? Walker? I think he's a guy who's this. You know, she's a country artists or he actually makes fun of country music by claiming country artists, and he is he was on Twitter yesterday saying I will give you autographed copies of my work on vinyl. If you beat this kid up find him beat him up and make a video of it. And give it to me. I will I'll give you a prize Twitter hasn't suspended his account. Apparently. That's not a hate crime. Is anything going to be done for the against the people who are issuing these kinds of threats well, their civil and criminal liability. I think he's crossed over into criminal. That sounds like terroristic threatening to me. I don't know. I'll ask the prosecutor who issued a stern warning very early this weekend to these instigators, but is still going on. That's why I ask because I you know, you just said that he was doing that. But it's still going on and Twitter doesn't seem to have a problem with it. That is the problem with social media. And that's how the left forms a mob is when they threaten violence is freedom of speech. And when the right when somebody conservative says something strongly-worded, not even violent than that their account gets shut down. I know. If you can't see that buys, you don't have your eyes open or you're not on social media. But I think they've really jumped the shark on this. And I hope this is a lesson to everybody. It's also got to be a lesson to moderates and conservatives to wait twenty four hours, you it's okay to get fact incomplete facts out there, but it's wrong to form a conclusion on incomplete facts talking to Representative Thomas Massie, you have thirty seconds to spend on an unrelated topic here on the shutdown. You had a compelling reasoning on your vote I felt about. I think you were one of seven in the house that voted against the pay back pay for government employees and the details were really the problem here. Can you explain that? But real quick. Yeah. So we took a vote in congress. I was walking to the four ready to go vote for this. Okay. Even though they introduced at the same day, we're going to vote on it. And he said he wouldn't do that. And I was ready to vote for it. We voted for things like this in the path. Then I discovered the Bill actually says for every shutdown forever. From now on basically, we are going to pay everybody. Whether they worked or not what you're doing is you're taking the entire federal payroll and taking it from discretionary spending and put it into the mandatory spending. Now three quarters of our government is mandatory. And that's the problem. That's why our is going bankrupt because it's all on autopilot. But to take the entire federal payroll and put it on autopilot forever. That is so dangerous. Here's the other thing that it doesn't even pay the workers at TSA her still working today. I'm going through at the airport. And by the way, we'll go through. They tell me to keep it up. They support me. But when I go through today, they're not going to get paid this Bill didn't fix that problem. But this Bill encourages more shut. Downs in the future. Because now politicians have political cover. That's amazing. No-one no-one covered that point of view. I thank you for that vote. That was an important one. Thanks Thomas Massie, really one of the good guys that we can trust in congress Thomas Massie. You can follow him at Massey dot house dot gov or Representative Thomas Massie. Thank you so much. Appreciate it. Thanks for getting the truth out there Glenn. I'm I'm going to share that tick tock on all of my social media channels. Do thank you so much. I appreciate.

Conflicting accounts sowed confusion about Lincoln Memorial incident

"Lincoln Memorial. And if those of you who have some insight on it. I would invite you to lead the conversation because this this is another example, I think of where the national news media sometimes jumps on a story without doing all the research that they need to do. Now. I am not an expert in this story. But I have spent much of the day trying to listen to a variety of reports and try to figure out what the heck went on here. Perilously? On friday. There was the the annual March for life in Washington DC, which is a big anti abortion rally. And there were a lot of young people involved in the March in including young people from Catholic high schools around the country, including a Catholic high school in. In kentucky. Covington Catholic high school, which I'm told is a suburb, and if you ever flown in Cincinnati, I think the airport for Cincinnati technically in Kentucky. It's right on the Kentucky Ohio line. So anyway. As the story broke over the weekend. There was the indignation because the first video snippets that everyone saw was a group of students from this Catholic highschool in come in Covington Kentucky. Who were face to face with a native American. A gentleman who was pounding on a drum and it looked like a pretty ugly scene. Many of the students were wearing make America. Great again hat. You know, the red Trump hats mega so called mega hats. And it sort of that little snapshot or that video snippet in the minds of many people just. Stuck out and really encapsulated appear demised what they are concerned about. And that is intolerant. Young people wearing make America again, make America great again hats. It's a matter of fact, a congressman from Kentucky whose name is John Yarmuth. He wrote I am calling for a total and complete shutdown of teenagers wearing mega hats until we can figure out what is going on. They saved. They seem to be poisoning. Young minds. He has a second bite in which he says the conduct. We saw in this video is beyond Paul, but it didn't happen in a vacuum. This is a direct result of the ratio racist hatred displayed daily by the president of the United States who sadly some steak for role model. Now these were. These were emails that came out yesterday on Sunday say say, I think that this this video went viral on. On saturday. And it shows a teenager who appeared to be smirking smiling standing very close to within the, you know, what would you consider to be the personal space of this gentleman from Michigan who is a native American who was simply banging on a on his drum and. This. This appalled. Many people. They went to quick quick judgment. Again. This fellow. Representative yarmuth. The president's fans seem more upset by. Later in the day. He kind of retracted it he said the president's fans seem four more upset by my quote, parentheses obvious close parentheses joke about banning hats than they were. When the president said, literally the same thing about banning actual human beings. Go figure then he has a quote from Donald Trump. And then he goes on to say, and if there was any question, I'm a passionate supporter of the first amendment. I will always defend the right to wear maga- hats, just not the un-american policies they represent so as the day went on this guy backtracked. He represents the third congressional district in Kentucky. Which is the the the congressional district next to Covington Kentucky. The congressman from that district. He was a democrat is a Republican named Tom Massie. Said his discomfort with the initial narrative was why he initially withheld judgement. He praised the students for their restraint. He goes, the owner will intolerance students have Covington Catholic school came to DC to advocate for the born. And to learn about our nation's capital, what they got was a brutal lesson in the unjust court, ah public opinion and social media mobs, this member of the house goes on to say of now watched over an hour of other videos from four different cameras of the incident in front of the Lincoln Memorial. I urge everyone to watch the other videos before passing judgment. Would you have remained that composed at that age under those circumstances? So essentially, the the full story is that this group of high school students after they participated in the March for life. Parents were to reunite and meet their buses near the Lincoln Memorial. And while they were there. There was a group of what's called black. Hebrew, israelites. Now, look if Washington there's all sorts of small splinter groups now, the the black Hebrew Israelites are called racist and becoming more militant by a source. No other none other than the southern poverty Law Center. So they called the black supremacist wing of the Hebrew Israelite movement spreading, and it's Milnes growing increasingly of its leaders are growing increasingly militant now this group apparently were heckling the kids with the from Kentucky a many of them had mega hats on a good sampling of the group had the red easily identifiable maga- hats, the native American gentlemen. His name is Mr. Phillips happens to be a veteran of the Vietnam war. Actually said that he interceded that he walked wanted to stand between the groups and beat his drum and use that as basically a noise, which would drown out the language that was going back and forth. And there might have been some language from the students towards the black. Hebrew, israelites. They the black Hebrew Israelites were utilizing language that I heard on the tapes that I watched that we're very anti-gay and very very vitriolic. So the the story goes out and who's to blame, but these kids and now it turns out that the kids actually the only sin. The only thing they did that was wrong in the minds of some was wearing a make America great aware in make America. Great again, hats and that encapsulated in the. Minds of some including a congressman from Kentucky everything that they thought that is that's wrong with the country. This was a rush to judgment. And by the way, the media jumped on the rush to judgment, including CNN. Now, there are other media members who are now apologizing for their rush to judgment. One journalist. Julie Irwin Zimmerman rights, I failed the Covington Catholic test next time. There's a viral story. I'll wait for more facts to emerge, and there are others. So my question to you is if you have seen this video if you are familiar with this story, what does it say about our news media? They are very quick very quick to rush to judgement and in this day and age again of the twenty four hour news cycle individual goes up and people respond to it very quickly. We're have the media where the people in the media who will actually take a step back and say, let's get the whole story where had they gone six one seven two five four ten thirty triple eight nine two nine ten thirty. And the do these students these high school students in specifically this one high school junior who was singled out do they deserve an apology. I think they do. I doesn't appear to me that they did anything wrong in this

Senate starts debate on US role in Yemen

"Trump appointed head of the World Food Program. The war in Yemen is currently threatening starvation of fourteen million people. Tens of thousands of Yemenis are already dead. You've seen the images like these children who are starving to death before very is. It is the worst humanitarian crisis in the world right now. And right now you and I in every American is facilitating this horror. Our government is supporting the Saudi war in Yemen. The Bartman the killing and the starvation of children because why exactly what is the argument in favor of doing what we're doing? We haven't heard that argument in the house of representatives. In fact, you won't be hearing an argument for that in the house of representatives. And that's because speaker Ryan today was to cowardly to have an actual debate. And vote on this matter to. Cowardly to let lawmakers stand up in the well, the house and say, yes, I think we should keep starving these children because it's so important that we support the same government that just butchered journalist, Jamal kashogi. Now. Of course, they're probably aren't too many lawmakers willing to stand up and say that since there is no domestic political constituency to continue starving children of Yemen. So instead, the cowardly but perfectly in character action. Speaker Paul Ryan on his way out the door was to use the rules committee to stick a rule attach it to the farm Bill a rule to strip out any debate. And consideration of the War Powers resolution, which would have given lawmakers the opportunity to call the end of the US support of the Saudi Saudi-born Yemen that rule passed now early Jewish six to three with eighteen Republicans voting against the bogus rule. Republican Thomas Massie of Kentucky calling speaker Ryan tactic despicable five Democrats provided the majority voting for the. Rule again a rule to prevent debate on US support of Saudi Arabia's warring Yemen here, the five Democrats who helped attached this monstrous rule to farm Bill. They apparently think it's all right to use the farm Bill to help continue starving. The Chiltern of Yemen. And you have to ask again, why why do they think that we don't know since they wouldn't actually debate? It are their constituents who get up in the town halls of these five Democrats say what I need from. You congressman is to continue bombing and starving children of Yemen into death and submission, highly doubt, it so why ask again, are we doing this in the Senate least there's a real debate going on about this and are real effort to vote against the US. Support the Saudi war in Yemen. We're gonna talk to someone who's led that fight. Senator. Chris Murphy joins me next. Saudi Arabia can push us around like they have over. The course of the last several years in particular, the last several months, then it sends a signal lots of other countries that they can do the same thing the big and murder US residents and suffer almost no consequences. They can bomb civilians with our munitions and suffer. No consequences were the major partner in this relationship. And it's time that we start acting like it. And if this ministration isn't going to act like then this congress has to act like it Senate right now is on track to pass a historic resolution that would not only end the US military involvement and Saudi Arabia is ongoing Warren Yemen, but also serve as an unprecedented rebuke to both current Saudi regime, and the Trump administration Senator Chris Murphy, democrat from Connecticut and one of the original co sponsors of the resolution told me earlier tonight, just what's at stake. So we got sixty votes to proceed to debate that's pretty significant number. That's a lot of Republicans. And now, we'll have a handful of amendments. And we'll have a final vote sometime tomorrow that vote likely will be overwhelming bipartisan as well. This'll be the first time since the adoption of the War Powers Act of nineteen Seventy-three. The congress has voted to pull us out of hostilities abroad.
