"That's Terry Bradshaw House quote on the the walk in so who is the Modern Day Guy Athlete that will be endorsing that you know thirty thirty years from now Dwight Howard. That's a pretty good drew brees. Maybe I feel like I don't know why in terms of body type and Rothlisberger has type but he's not someone that I see along along someone that you like not that he's unlikable but I don't see him being like the sweetheart down the road but look George Foreman wasn't loved at his time right now he started selling Jon congruent could be or was it law until the grill. That's what I'm saying so wow. That's another question who someone that's dislike now that it's going to take a turn at like old age and you're like. I love that we've already seen it to kneel. Medvedev Birdie turn you think money mayweather will have a turn off off and considering the news I think Antonio Brown might have been in the conversation but we can write that one off to is Teo having a turn right now he he is. I think a lot of people although I thought Odell Beckham was going to make this turn by simply not being in Tonio Brown and realizing the things that we got mad at him are ridiculous and now that he's on my team. I just realized we just do this without l. Beckham Duquesne wear a watch without being like a huge negative story. Don't really understand that I mean I love how he's making. People are coming after I I know wearing a two hundred thousand dollar. Watch people like like you catch be swinging stuff around like sick. It's not plastic that watches I know. He said that's plastic. There's no way if you're paying looks plan one hundred thousand dollars for watch me to plastic urine idiot de want something expensive inside a two hundred thousand dollar watch. I want the finest witnessed of metal. It is if you look inside. It looks very complex and expensive. I imagine it's like Rolex which it doesn't need a battery. I don't know about this particular. Taylor brand. I'm learning about it speaks his ability to be swiped. Friends does not need batteries because they charge up emotion really yeah now. How's he put it down for like if you put it down for like seventy two hours you're going to need a pump it to make sure or you can get a hold or if you're if you're big watch collector and you have a wad in your collection? Can you can buy these these cases that will actually rotate the watch occasionally my Lord to charge it back up again. That's part of why rolexes are so expensive. What does that mean. They don't on a bit no like it'll be the case. Oh pump it. Yeah like you have a like you. pull the pin out and you can pump it like a basketball sort. I like that yeah where you just like charged up a reserve so you priming your watch. Why do you know so much about watch. Watch say this job of a Rolex Rolex. Now okay okay. I say this half jokingly but what if Odell Beckham Junior was going for a stiff arm and he like Mrs on the I would always be checking the state of of my watch. I don't care how much money I have made. How much money making if I have a two hundred thousand Dollar Watch on Chris. I think this is where you were headed. I would catch a ball and be like Whoa is the watch scratched. If AH THOUSAND DOLLAR WATCH HAVE IT in a safety deposit box also like the reports were that it was like two hundred thousand dollars and two hundred and fifty I saw and I think the most this recent thing because the company came on spoke on it. It's a hundred and thirty nine thousand. That's it the tall distraction but but he but the thing is like we're making this big deal about Beckham realize how small time he comes off like compared to the dolls who who's out there with an eight hundred thousand dollar watch same brand by the way different model Auteuil obviously but Nidal's out here like big time in all of you and no one talks but it has to do with like it's a it's a safety. It's ridiculous Gladys Edis. NFL's now like that's only two hundred thousand dollars. You can't wear that fifty hazard. It's a plastic watch due to have training dolls on the side of a court by himself. He's swinging swing a racket. He can't hurt anyone with the why you're playing in small spaces trying to tackle me and I have a watch on. I try to stiff army. Would if I miss your shoulder and I scrape you along the neck with right to happen. It could right and you. Gav Your wrist broken tax and then I dropped the ball because I'm more concerned about the watch ran the football and if the book was pops the ball concerned about fumble the interesting thing is everyone just assumed this was an endorsement thing. Odell Beckham said I'm just a customer. Watch yeah by the week which we do you guys think start getting tired of a backup junior and I just love Ha- L. Dell's man the league will leave me alone. It's like dude. You're wearing a half a million dollar. Watching what are you talking about. You're saying look at me. Yeah what's happening though wearing something for ten minutes saying. Why is everyone paying attention. He wants the League to bother him. I'm totally with Chris US asking for this trip like no mass wears a watch wall playing football one person Reggie Roby Uber Expensive Watch while playing Reggie Robie people notice and then he's talking about this. I wonder WHO's a cool little poor Jay cool ooh it looks cool but when the League says hey we can't do that like that's what it makes sense. Do you say that and say you know what what doesn't make sense. It doesn't make sense to me is like like in the NBA did this with the the Ninja band which Pablo correctly took exception to that because that's not an interest style right I they. They say it's a safety issue. I'LL CBS safety issue. They're wearing helmets. The pads are harder than what's on. This wash like this is a dangerous. The sport is frigging dangerous. How is that more ordained what he's wearing on his wrist. How's that more dangerous than what someone's wearing on their head. Every day. What Ahead Bank and get loosen covey is well? Now you blind that was way. NBA Ninja band or like it's too loose and it could someone can slip on it and tear their ACM like what what the people that wear this lousy waren it because he's a taste pacemaker. He's an influence. It's the same reason why he wears different cleats in pre-game. He's like look good play good. I gotTA drip. Why but you have to wear cleats the play football. You don't need to wear a watch yeah. I think it's cool. I feel like you can't be a taker and influence or if you're wearing things that nobody can buy like if he's going out there. The watch the city bought at Walmart. That's readily available to the masses and it's like wow look o b j bought this watch and I WANNA wear it. I can do that now. Oh people just getting people can buy that. I guarantee you look doc. Thousand Dollar Watches doll alone. I mean the only one we know goodbye. That is Dan. I saw lake on. I watch is our incredible investments because you got the right watch not only retain. It's value. They often appreciate in their value so it's like the next time you want to get a watch. You just sort of take off. Your watch handed over to them. End Switch watches especially if you have the right watch and you invested properly so it's actually actually a pretty smart investment. I don't think that watch companies are taking watches. It Odell Beckham scratch playing football. Oh back can make a million dollars on that. Watch a game used used. Jamie is what I watch. I will say that nothing bigger has ever happened to this company than Odell Beckham doing it and they have arguably the greatest men's tennis player as an endorser endorser and you had no idea no idea. When did you become a watch expert. When I bought my watch and I've noticed notice that people only ask you about they they only compliment you on your watch to get a compliment in return very like It's like a secret society eighty because from the outside like nobody really knows about risk where I couldn't tell you what an expensive watch or it's a cheap watch outside of just a certain brand name but it's got its own little hive. "It was the guy that people would nuts. We've got thirty side that Guy John Ross right John Ross. I saw up there. Eh I saw in a couple of my leaves bottom bill fast guys number two running back behind Gurley was available on a couple of leagues. I picked the wrong one on the rams rookie draft taking the carries them touchdowns last week. Brown right Yeah Yeah Malcolm Brown. Yes I've picked up REX burkhead. He's available at that's another one but way too much money on them but he's buying the dolphins this wing figure in two touchdowns at the very lazy to last week. Patriots Defense Pence also available a couple of weeks. I got the niners today that I absolutely on that sustainable do you now. I want to try. It's called show and tell if you guys would I would like to participate show and tell all right guys. I just gotTa my bag an advertisement that I got in the mail. It's for North America's number one selling failing walk in Tub and they have a celebrity pitchman. Who Do you think the celebrity pitchman is for first off North America's number one selling walk into so. Is this a shower. The walk is North America's number one selling walk into with an athlete endorser okay so I'm GonNa say this is probably geared towards older people people I'm going to say Joe Name Tommy Tub reveal who a good one. It's terrible. It's a perfect Tapie Smith. Oh Wow toby's miss I have until the end the second bit idiot perfect orser. It's the perfect person to endorse this and it also got me thinking who would be today's endorser in the future like what athlete today would be the one that forty years years from now would be pitching the North America's number one top selling walk in Tub. Do you guys want to just know who I guess no okay it is Surrey's on Brad Terry Bradshaw Ferguson for North America's number one selling walk into which I'm assuming is very expensive because there's no price on here which is usually a sign that something is very expensive. Isn't this just a shower. No it's not look at you know it's basically it's a shower but it has like waist-high describing because nobody can see this because we're doing this not on TV. It has waist high a wall and a door that opens up up and then you sit down in the portion and then that fills up with water. I don't know how they figure this out but that fills up with water and you can also get showered so it's for. I guess older people that can't stand standup Yup in the shower. WanNa sit but they can't go all the way down and there's a handle on it right. I mean the doors you don't you don't hop it. No no no it's. It's the little baby step that you get in. It's basically like you know I was so close in age in quarterback benching quarterback. I want one of those right. I feel like it's going to be like twenty thousand dollars. It looks like the water can go up to your shoulder yeah. That's that's the thing it's basically a tub. Now your water bills probably super high when you get one of these things right because it's basically twice the height of would a normal tub would be. I don't mean to sound like Silky at any point here but water bills. How can it be like. I've had like an expensive month and it goes up to drive you crazy but it sort of stays consistent ten years saying you know what you're a much better bigger house. I guess my my water bill like if it fluctuates fluctuates like two bucks tonight that fifty dollar range every three months fifty bucks which by the way becoming an adult and realizing that you don't pay water bill monthly. I was like Whoa.

"I don't think that you put a cast over your kneecap you do so your leg doesn't move how down has a fractured elbows people like they have it stationary for awhile you need the bones actually they come back together and then slowly but surely rebuild with very slight mobility. Have you guys ever worried about hurting your kneecap. Oh shouldn't surprise you. I've I've been afraid that I broke my kneecap interesting adding having a two year old obviously doesn't crawl anymore because she's up and running she they can crawl like crazy and as a pair you. WanNa get down on your knees. She's almost do but when do you start walking. Should she. Walking shoes walk. That's why so nice. She runs. That's my point. Is that like you know. She's still every once in a while. We'll crawl around but like months back when she was only Crawley Raleigh. I like you know as a parent you. WanNa get on your knees and crawl with her. Do these kids have some. They don't have like the feeling in their knees. Adults you right now if you got on all fours and tried to crawl around the hurts. It's painful thing for your knees yeah. I'm telling you raise. Its don't have the feeling that they can like sprint. Crawl bones are also soft yeah but it has I'm jealous. I see her crawling and she can do without pain and I try to do it because it looks fun. It's very painful. It has to be horrifying at least at the beginning. I mean I'm sure now you guys. Don't think it's a big deal at all when your baby cries but like baby can't speak like I see sometimes babies like infants with glasses like how do you know that baby can't see like how is that communicated like if a baby gets hurt and they break their knee or something. How do you know that that's what's going on and notches the baby poop themselves a constant airing. I think I think and as as you get to know the baby there's different cries so there's no the I broke my eyes cries when they want something and then there's cries when it looks like they're in pain like you could just tell by the cry explained that I have no idea what you're talking about. You could tell it your baby is thing by the way your baby is crying example of an hundred crimes. I'm just saying there's a different just cried like I. I didn't know what it meant. They will just crying. Maybe I'm using the context clues of every situation but there are times where she's just sitting in her high chair and she wants the milk. It's not time for milk yet and she's blabbering and there's times where she falls down and she gets hundred holding her hand crying and it's just a different crowd. I don't know maybe I don't know I don't I know because I had knee surgery when I was in seventh grade right and the reason I had knee surgeries because I had an extra bone chip like on my knee. It almost looks like a hook right and the doctor doctor that I went to see that discovered it through an X-ray because I had an extra bump on my Nia was like it was weird looking and they said what probably happened. was you broke your knee when you were younger and it just healed itself so now. I'm wondering was I crying as a baby and parents didn't know and they're like he's just hungry. You're hungry. That's what I'm saying. So what are the different Christ sound like like. Give me an example of what your baby sounds like. She's hungry because I'm not certain. The crowds are different. I just think situations are different. Feel like the Christ. You're just assuming you're babies. Baby baby pooped itself because that's what babies back me up on. This price sound like I want to hear a beep no no. I'm not saying that you'll be backing me up on. I'm not saying that you're wrong but when you're hot texts clues right when the baby sitting the High Chair and she's crying or he's crying it's probably because he or she is hungry so you know that because we're sitting in the high chair where she holds her hand up ads and is crying. You would assume that her hands hurt their time. Cry just different motions. That's Tom. There's times when you can tell the kids I mean I guess you're right because obviously she didn't just fall so I know that she's just turning on this guy. There's Times where they can turn it on man these kids right but you want examples of the cries bill yeah. I'd like to hear what the different cries sound like if possible. Roy Guests is gonNA give us now a demonstration of crying. I'm not giving you free attention. Christ food cries for pain you know the difference is obviously a difference but I know about that. The ultra grapevine baby cries. You know your kid but if your baby crawls into something it starts. It's crying right. Just it's the same cry. You just know why they're crying yeah. What if you're turned around when your baby fell and turn back around like Oh that's the that's the hungry cry right right now and it's like no the baby fell and you just missed it well. It's a hold on give us those three cries again for attention. Let's Chris you sound like what does that sound like. I am not playing mimic. Decide you see the cry and you can tell now there are times when she's crying. Let her go because she's just crying because she wants. You know a you. You know something that I don't want to give her. I don't know what this is like without the exam. That's what I'm saying. It's paw like it's very easy to say. I know the difference between the three cries and I'm going to come out and say say I don't know the difference. I'm not experienced. I don't know what they sound like. So if I'm going to have a drought in the future I'd like to know what the cries sound like so I think demonstration from two experts here might help with that. What a cry for pain free easy thing the one initial cry. What does that sound like. We need to hear the crime. There's an initial burst. This is not a real conversation anymore. Yeah just want us to make crying knowing your game. If you are serious what the hungry cried sounds like here's what the woman they hurt their toe guys happy dinosaur noise babies. Christ right. I don't believe it the cry for pain the initial one cry long get inhale. Okay Min- the pain that kick in but then you need the big inhale. You're out here. Asking for example is so how does that differ from the other cries is what I'm asking a cry cry for attention more like a whimper and yeah and the cry but here's the thing and been those are. Those are only three situations that you're familiar with. What's the broken knee. Christ sound like that can't be the I am hungry Chri CA. We don't really know when someone's hurting I think you know I think you know the sound. messy is coming in Miami. Oh God that's the story so this comes from reports from Barcelona and this is irrefutable. SC has a provision in his contract that in the summer of twenty twenty one he could leave leave on a free transfer anywhere anywhere now. He's thirty two years old right now. Still playing at a high level. Barcelona's Dr Sologne is offered him a lifetime contract. He has said in the media several times that he doesn't WanNa play for any other teams in Europe. Although many players have said that and ended up playing for other teams in Europe there have been reports that David Beckham has been in contact with messy throwing out crazy money offers and that in Miami is obviously obviously interested in messy now. I have done some talking around town. Oh Wow before. This report even came out. I'm talking months ago. There is the thought around owned that club that they have a very real shot at messy a couple seasons into this project now everyone's looking at the summer of twenty twenty one because he can leave on a free transfer because obviously if messy hits an open market inter. Miami is not going to be able to compete with the likes of Hell. Even China like Chinese clubs that have visa astonishing transfer budgets. He's going to the only way messy comes. Here is obviously for bigger money. MLS has ever seen for a player goes it goes without saying and the fact that he wants to be in America which we've seen in the past are reports that he wants to be down here and also Emma's has this bizarre sponsorship partnership ship with Adidas Who Messy is the biggest athlete that has ever been sponsored by Dita's so they can make up some of the money there too so this would be a business opportunity for messy. All tell you is the facts of the story he can leave on a free transfer which is optimal for team like Inter Miami. Beckham has been in constant contact with them. Messy was part of that premier video that into Miami put out when they announced their brand and and there is some sort of mutual interest already comic hold on a second years from now is he gonNA WANNA leave. You've playing wherever he's playing celona Barcelona to play in the Minor League stadium in Fort Lauderdale well. There's not going to be a stadium. Fort Lauderdale Fort Lauderdale's tails obviously a big part of this equation. I can't possibly answer that question. I do know that that the only team that's ever really been linked with messy in sort of. MLS OX has been this Miami Project but Yeah Fort Lauderdale when you put it that way leaving Barcelona in the Camp Nou for Lockhart Stadium seems a bit odd but at that age this is something different with his career possibly does he have this every year or just just in two thousand twenty one but two thousand twenty one is the only year in his contract and I don't know how much longer is left on that contract. It's not a lifetime deal but he has a provision in his is contract would look it up twenty twenty one he can leave on a free transfer okay but if the stadiums not building twenty twenty one and it's going to be ready in twenty twenty two or twenty twenty three does. Hispanic dispel doubt then the well. That's the only opportunities thirty three thirty four years old at that point yeah but you're GONNA get him at thirty three thirty four thirty eighty five. You're not going to get them now. When you say free transfer does that mean he gets to choose where he goes yeah like houses. It's agent yeah so usually a team seemed like a team that bids the most the team gets so if he can leave on a free transfer normally if they don't have a free transfer. The club and the player have to agree to terms. If it's a free transfer the club have have no say in where he can go so it's really the player that's coming just two financial terms how much money the team gets for him. No no it's a free transfer. The club hasn't got any money yeah. Why would they ever agree to that just to get him to sign more like because he had to leverage average when he hit an open market or his contract was expiring. You very rarely see a player just hit an open market and become a free agent unless they're much older in their career. Event is actually does a really good job of with their business. Getting players on free transfers and expiring appeals their their Club knows how to leverage certain agents say hey never renegotiate but you rarely ever see a player reach an expiring deal just because a club likes recoup some of the money on some of these things even if they're excited yeah. It's cool buzz does that mean soccer is alive. If messy comes to somewhere close to your house eh soccer's Ed. We're getting them at the age of thirty four. I mean yes this. Brad car right at ours locker from my house. I mean a lot closer. No Sir Than Freedom Park would be. I guess that wasn't going to be called. I think so yeah to put this in perspective. Say Messy ever won anything yes plenty what name it Champions League World Cup no. He hasn't won the super. Both you're being. I just want to know what we could have said about this. Inter Miami the team that would have had you guys like billions guys say this. I can't do better than messy at thirty four by the way he's locked on is dominating. MLS MLS and he's thirty seven years saying Michael Jordan wants to come here years but it's also saying like Michael. Jordan wants to come to the heat today like well. Why would he come to the heat today. The same thing brought up on saying Lebron. James wants to come to the today in Lebron James..

Put photo's dates time battery power type in things like this is how she's doing it like because I'm not, you know, she's lying. Oh, I would never date that whatever and what did the text messages reveal? But were they that they were in having a relationship relationship? Least. There was nothing in it. That was like the nail in the coffin accents sense photo of meal on the couch. But he said he had sent that to his cousin when she was drunk. She took a bunch of photos office phone Senator self there was nothing in it. That would go like, yes there, you know, there was photos of them all out together because I wasn't a possessive girlfriend, and he would go out to dinner with his buddies in his girl in her girlfriends were there, and they're in a group. But there was nothing that would say, you know, were dating were couple were sleeping together. And why did this girl say she was contacting you to be a good Christian or? Like, she just and then she not only that she tag me on photos, Instagram. She messaged me on Snapchat. Like, she tried to get my tension. I didn't say anything because I at that point meal. Oche I believe them. But, but there was something in my gut that could again, let it go, and I have Sesto about it. I would go back and read the message go look at her Instagram profile on thinking, well, it's believable that she is gorgeous. Like, if I was a guy out probably into her, you know, so things that I could quite let go of my mom at one point said Brittany, you need to stop obsessing about this in just trust me Loesch. 'cause like, you know, he had everyone pooled in our family. So at that at that point. But then things start to get even worse in just more verbally abusive. And let me ask any point in your life. Where you're like, you know, what I do believe me Loesch. But what am I just meet the squirrel in a Starbucks and see which has to say she came on so strong. I think if she would have approached it she? Trying so hard to warn me that came off as like too much. Yeah. He was trying so hard to get me to wake up and pinion that it was almost like. Whoa. Back off was girl. Right. It seemed a low like she did seem suspicious got it. Yes..

"Hello lights. Hello, son. How I missed your life. Giving warmth. So they rescued me from the gardening and the void. It was. I came to find you to warn you Ingrid's father has had declared an outlaw. He says you came to kidnap his daughter from her wedding. If you go back to the village, you will be killed. Well, that's no loss. I didn't mean to go back to my old life anyway. But to mother is grieving few. She thinks he will lost dead, she's dying of a broken heart. What should I do? You must sneak back to see her. Of course, let her know you're alive, and then you must disappear leave this land make your way in the world and leave you. I should keep you in my heart. "I went to my letter boxed profile, and I did a count of how many movies I've seen this year? And I'm embarrassed of this number, but I'm about to reveal this number to the world. I know this number is going to probably discredit me in some ways. But I've only seen fifty movies this year fifty two thousand eighteen releases this year, I should say. In looking at that. And I was talking the slack channel. And I think Chris how many movies have you seen this year of two thousand eighteen releases? A lot. It's something like it's close to three hundred. Like, I don't know. Maybe it's the fact that you know, I went to Sundance this year and got sent home before the festival started. And usually I ended up seeing like, you know, fifteen twenty movies there. Maybe it's you know this year. Was my first year as a member of the magic castle. So maybe I've been spending time there rather than movies. Maybe I've been watching more TV shows than movies this year because TV so good. But I just I I'm so disappointed in myself that I have not seen that many movies. So I I've been made it a goal for myself in December to try to catch up as much as I can. So. Wouldn't put through as a bunch of stuff. I watched over the weekend starting with Paddington to which I know I've been the weight on that. I I'd watch Paddington one while back, but penguin to was not available for free or for, you.

"I messed up his trick. And then as I'm doing that some person not in our group storms up to me. I was talking to you at the time another patron a woman, I she was in some sort of a costume. But I can tell you what it was gogo dancer. Maybe I don't think so. She put a finger in my face. And what did she say? She said, by the way, sir. Not cool. Not cool. She said it again. And then we did she stormed off, our friend. I as she was walking off. I was like I I didn't mean to right, but just to put things into perspective. This probably makes sense. But there is a. There is an understanding in the magicians community. I don't know what the technical term is for it. But people who know how a trick works know enough about magic to know how a trick works and wind picked to be a volunteer purposely savvy oil the trick for some Mon personal gain or just to be a troll. And so lots of people thought that you were a troll. And that woman who is a magician's aficionado, obviously. That's what she was dressed as okay? Yeah. Like a fairy. But any retrospect, I I understand why she did it because you had done it. Because actually it was a complete douche thing to do. And especially at the end when I'm like, hold on hold on did show the picture because I know I drew it. How you told me to bring in? And I thought I was giving him an opera. I literally as as stupid as it sounds. I thought I was giving him an opportunity because I thought he was about to to like blow our minds one last thought it required. You to ask? I was all part you thought part of. Oh, wait, listen to finish the trick. I'm like a child when I when I go into the magic castle. I'm like gosh. I what child like wonder, I experienced everything. Oh, I'm picking markers, which one of my gonna pick maybe this one. Nope. This one and not having so much fun. I would never choose you. As if I was doing the trick. But limited no any honestly, he did he try. So bad after this that I was like the per- the person who invited us like the member. I was like I went up to her reputation is on the like, I am. I wanna let you know that. I didn't do it intentionally. I'm so sorry. I would you know. And then a few minutes later. I'm like, you know, what I'd like to talk to the guy if there's any way I could talk to him and apologize. I'll make it better. I ended up she came and got me a little bit later and went out there. And he was Sherlock Holmes was standing out there said disappoints. Yeah. He was apologetic..

"But at a time a life is changed, and I am going to begin holding the microphone like this guy. That's my new thing. All right because I want to be able to tell you a listener. I just want you to know that rat is now holding in hovering his microphone above the the round table. And I may do a little mini bicep curl. Did you say this week of the roundtable Finland? You didn't even say that you know, what I did say, and I've noticed something, and it's been happening more and more often you may need to go to the doctor. I know what you're talking about. Lately, I've been saying something and then in the middle of so cliche. You say did you decide did you just say that? And I definitely did say it. I maybe it is a problem. I mean, it's it's happening weekly. Now, I feel like I'm crumbling. Definitely emotionally after what happened last night. Yeah. I. I'm going to link the two because I think that never heard to use your name as avert. I'm still kind of re-. I'm really mad more often. And I'm glad you were there too. I I'm ready for you to tell me. Stupid. Well, I thought that's what we're doing. I I'm still not over what happened and I'm sorry. If you don't wanna hear us talk about magic in our interactions with it again. But that's not really what this is about. Yes. What happened last night did happen at a visit to the magic castle with our friends just become as a regular haunt of ours. Because so many people, but I want to go to the honestly, really? And I know it's also funny. But I feel like I'm is it better. If if I tell the story of you tell the story from your perspective because. It's probably better. If I tell. I agree with that. So television perspective. I'll just try not to interject too much just to clarify. What was going on some of mine at the time, and again, not to shatter the illusion that this is recorded on the day that you're hearing it for us. We're recording this right around Halloween, which means that we went to, but it's not dated. Because no one's heard it until right now, I'm not worried, and that's all that matters was just letting you know, it's fresh and only for you. So at the magic castle around Halloween, they have a special. Thing that they do basic, they call it a murder mystery, and you can wear you know, you can dress up you can wear costumes and another thing that happens is that the performers. The magicians are all in costume as well. And in character, they're not just normal magicians, which is cool. I will say that we completely abandoned never even really started the murder mystery thing they gave us a list of clues. And you had to go read something as like this. I don't want to think this much at the magic castle. So we abandon that. Apparently, I didn't either. But we went to the close up magic gallery, which is our favorite place where some our friend almost gun to a fistfight with Jason's Hudek is hold a special place in our hearts and the guy gets up there. He is pretending to be Sherlock, Holmes. Putting on British accent dressed as homes himself, and he begins to go through his act, and he's putting it all in terms of like solving clues. And you know, intuition that Sherlock Holmes would have. I would say he was good. I tell you was good. He was very good. Yeah..

"He's watched that he's a horrible showman, but he's a legitimate magic maker like I wouldn't even call him a magician. He actually has magical power. They wizard, but he's a wizard, but he can't. He has none of the showmanship required to be an entertaining magician. We, we're going to get into that. We thought that was ironic thought that we be right, but he so even though he could do real magic. Could make a woman up. He could particularly a woman out of nothing like make a person. His magic consisted of doing really lame tricks really underwhelming tricks, but he was actually doing the trick even though in that was the distinction in his own mind. I still think it was funny like tying and nod in a rope in and pulling it the not disappears. He's like taking two rings and the difference between me and other buddy system season one. So we're explaining it. You should have the difference between him and other magicians was they're doing the same thing. The result is the same. However, he's he's actually doing it. Yeah, isn't that funny? But in order for him to actually do it in that scene, he had to be taught how to do it as as because he's not actually a wizard. He's an actor. So Joel showed up under a tent at Venice beach because we were shooting another scene there and page met him there and like under a tent, he taught him how to do some magic tricks. Yeah. And then he and then he was there when we were shooting. He was still consulting, but he's like a legit magician and we had to look him up because he, you have to have an in. And so he put us on the list so to speak, and then gave us granted us access into the magic castle. But it's not that simple because you also gotta have the proper dress code. I mean, they send you this long Email. They really keep this thing. They, they try to keep it pristine. One of our friends, one of our friends had on pants that were not jeans. They were black dress pants, but they were gene like, and he actually had ten. I'm like quality. He called ahead of time and said, I'm letting you know that I'm wearing black pants that look a little bit light jeans, but they're not jeans. Am I going to be okay, and the woman said, guess you'll be okay. Turns out when he showed I called and his how he called ahead of time. Wow. When he showed up the woman who was not the woman he had spoken to on the phone, who is the woman that looks you up and down to make sure that you are acceptable into the castle the sorceress. She said, you can't come in who, and he was like, I called ahead of time and spoke with name that will not be spoken here. Eventually worked it out. Everything is okay. He got him, but just gives you. I mean, they take this seriously so we knew we had to dress up. The problem was we had a meeting. We had a meeting relieving right up to cause Mike wanted to get there when it opened any wanted to stay until it close, which we were there. Five PM up to one thirty AM. Can you believe that that's never eight and a half hour never been at any one thing that long, not even work. You're the magic castle. I'm pretty sure we set a record. Well, I'll tell you right now. I think we set a record for the most fun that you can have at a magic castle. Yeah, what it was funny story because we had to get dressed. We were at a meeting with Stevie on the the three of us were at a meeting on the other side of town on the west side. And then we had to drive through the the late afternoon traffic to get back to the magic castle trying to get there for this very specific act that Mike wanted to see at five PM..

There that some kind of ghost plays is that a trick or what's going on You can't tell, me will you it's a real ghost now there's a music room in the magic castle which came with the house and Senate is a. Piano and the piano no one sets the piano? Obsessively no one the Biennale plays requests from the audience and the story is. That's that's. The ghost of the house and. She on some music Roman plays requests from our guests while it's great how old is how, old is the magic castle the magic castle has been a. Private club for magicians for fifty five years The building was built just after the turn of the century so it's an old Victorian. Mansion one of the great old Victorian mansions in? Hollywood that still left and you've got a very strict dress code there for It's the only place in LA that has a strict bread dress code yeah it's it's the. Last bastion of that got to. Wear a coat and tie or something men has to be in, a coat and tie and women have to be in Dance outfitters or skirt That's. Like the old days I guess it is. Like the old days it's. Like, the. East coast yeah absolutely so what's new in? The? World, of magic what well what's? The future hold, here what happens is is that, every generation you know reinvents it both in terms of style and also in terms of. What they're really doing and so what you see now you see a real push and it's gotta amazing to use technology that we all have in our hands So I have, some friends that are, doing just unbelievable stuff with cell phones and with eye pads and so you. Say well what's what's magical about that they're already doing magical things but of course what happens is when, a magician takes that and plus there's there's something even more mazing so that personable borrow your iphone and do something with it you didn't think. Responsible and then handed back to you, and of course, it doesn't do that anymore? Now that's amazing and that those things those bits, of, technology I really used this as kind of like todos touchdowns to match a world everybody knows those. Things are magical so that when something when you really see something surprising happening with it it's almost like. There's a spell cast with it and it's. Really intriguing and it's a. Whole, new. Approach to the way magic is being done? And? You've, been doing this for Jesus? Like you said, since you were a kid I, was doing this since I was a kid yes and I was brought here to work. With Doug adding and worked with a bunch of different magicians so it's always interesting to me to work with different magicians on material because Everybody has a different approach to it. As different interests in terms of what they're doing were you like magicians producer I, was I started working, as a as. A I worked, magician that I worked at assistant with several magicians you know the. Guy on stage handing them props and then I I started developing, material and building materials that. Other, magicians use, have have you. Studied tricks to the point where you are so baffled you can't figure it out oh. You know here's the thing Are, fooled all the time by other magicians that's great it happens absolutely. I'd love that that's great but we're fooled by weird stuff you, know we're fooled by tiny. Little, things in, the routine e Interesting little aspects, of the presentation there was. A great British, magician that we write about in this book named David van, and he said that the very best audience for magicians. Are people who know something about magic and that's really not. Rising it's. Just like. You. Know people the. Best people. To go to the opera are. The people, who've already read up on the opera they know opera They want wanna go see it and they want..
