"But the comment I made was about This hug and the governor? Oh, yes, Yes. Okay, Governor out. Liz Hogan. Wait a minute, Governor Liz Hogan started out and he was criticizing the president for no reason didn't have to do that. We know he's a rhino. We know he's an establishment guy, which really makes it kind of scary, but I thought he was a smart politician, and what he was basically doing was Trying to get some of the Democrats the vote for him and he would criticize and he would go to the left and all I thought, Well, you know, he's just a smart politician. I got to tell you, Valerie, one of the statements he's been making lately. I've come to the conclusion. He says, basically dumb well. You know, When you talk about Larry Hogan, Larry Hogan, he actually fold a lot of people in his first four years. Um, for the governorship when it comes down to the second four years, we really find out that he's a rhino. And he's one of the worst kinds of rhinos because what he does is he gets a lot of press. It gets a lot of Incan sounds really good until you really look at what he's doing. 38 or 48 vetoes. Overridden. Yes, I know how many people know that. And the other thing is, you know that they have this thing with the state employees Health care plan. I don't even know if that's straightened out, but it's in danger. These are for the retired people. What about this thing you pointed out you pulled showed me an article. He is supporting Lewis. Jamie. Yes. Now Liz Cheney has an 18% support in the state of Wyoming, and he's going to raise money for he is going to raise money for her. Yeah, that's that's why I call him Liz Hogan. Yes, but the other part about this nationally among the Republicans She's at like 10% support among Republicans and in the city. I'm sorry in the state of Maryland, Hogan received 90% of the Republican vote, and here is I'm not hoping Trump. Trump received 90% of the vote in the state of Maryland among Republicans, and here's Hogan on the wrong side of that issue. Now he's talking about Running for president. Here's a guy that is supporting Liz Cheney, who gets 10% nationally among Republicans, and here's the president who gets 87% nationally among Republicans, and this guy is talking about running president of what he's not going to win. The because he talked about the Republican Party must be ginning. Well, one of the things I found that was interesting. After After going through years of Hogan was, he's really He's kind of like for a lot of these illegal oil in programs. I know it sounds crazy, but he criticized Trump. When he was closing the border down the walk. You know, when he was building the wall, no matter what Trump did, Hogan criticized him, for which most of the people in the United States That love Trump. They were happy for that kind of stuff. Now what we have Trump's policies were greatly successful, and practically every person who was a trump voter and supporter support him because of his success in his policies and his administration, not because of his personality. But the fact of the matter is the only thing that Hogan got out of this that was a benefit. Was, of course, that he got on MSNBC with Michael Steele. Or he got on CNN. Maybe that's what he's looking for. Yeah, but what good is it? I mean, you have to have if you're going to run For president of the United States or governor of the state of Maryland. You have to have a pathway. Now he's not a Democrat. I don't think he's going to become a democratic, but that would never would really be stupid. But even though he is a Democrat, and he's a rhino, the fact of the matter is that he's talking about running for president. In a party where the Trump is the party and Trump has 90 87% of the voters supporting him. And he is criticizing Trump. You know, he falls into this category with Michael Steele and that governor who served his last term out there in Ohio. These guys they get on as uh, useful idiots and and tokens on CNN, and that's all they get. He can't be serious about running for president. As a Republican. The money guys aren't going to give him a dime. He can't win a primary. What's he gonna do? Go into New Hampshire against hug against Trump? Or, uh, the guy from Florida and he's going to get 10% of the vote and be embarrassed. Well, he's up to something. We just got to figure out what? Well, there's a lot of talk about him running forward. I mean, well, wait a minute. There's a lot of talk about him running for US Senate against Van Holland this year in 22. And now the people we know on the inside, say he. He knows he can't win that and he's not going to do it. Some people think he you know, may do that, but I don't think he wants to go out with that loss. I'm not sure what his strategy is. He can't find a home for the presidential election. Within the Republican Party. There is no pathway. There is no space. I think what he wants to do is be kingmaker for moderate. Republicans. Yeah, he was even want to have a voice. I think he might wind up being abundant on MSNBC or CNN, talking about what is left of the Republican Party. Uh, that's Rhino. Establishment, and he made a statement the other day that he he sounded like MSNBC sounded like our friend Rachel Maddow, saying that the Republican Party is in trouble. Republican Party is more unified now than it's ever been in my lifetime, but it's people like him. That makes it fair. They don't matter anymore than when you have 80 per 7% of the voters supporting and movement. Trump established early. He wanted a movement, not a party. It's a movement and he has no part in it. The Republican Party is the party of the future. You have more Hispanics. You have more black people moving to the Republican Party. The Democrat Party isn't even a party anymore, And it isn't a movement. It is split asunder because you have Bernie fighting Biden you have AOC criticizing and running against humor. The Democrat Party is split into two pieces. That is the party in trouble. That is the party. We're going to talk in a little while about Biden's accomplishments and failures. There aren't any accomplishments way Do we talk about the failures, and the reason those failures exists is because of the condition of the Democrat Party. It is split. The Republican Party is only five or six House seats short. And it's even in the Senate. And when they vote, those bad bills that Biden puts out guess what every single Republican votes against those bad bills. But not every single Democrat votes for what Biden wants. We'll be right back. Are you paying too much for term life insurance? There's a tremendous price.

Insurrections and getting committee stood up your reaction to the fact that nancy or shall we call him. shall we called him. Marie-antoinette doesn't want to have any truth telling republicans on her committee so has she really made a mistake now congressman. Is it now not clear to everyone that the january the six quote unquote commission is just a political sham. It is a political sham. It's going to be bipartisan but without a disagreement at the start as to any aspect of it because she has managed to pick people who already agree with her at least she believes they do and Starting of course with liz cheney. She's got somebody who Has basically said that the republican party and anyone who said that there were irregularities in arizona or pennsylvania are inherently un-american and likens us to the people on the wrong side of the civil war The reality is our constitutional obligations were met. She chose to go and other way but nancy. Pelosi wants to turn all of that into a january six once in a millenium Sort of a claim And she's going to run that through with this sham commission.

Pelosi says she has concerns about comments The lawmakers have made about January 6th and has suggested they could affect the integrity of the investigation. McCarthy says she now has a sham investigation getting on The way it shows exactly what I warned back at the beginning of January that Pelosi would play politics with this. McCarthy also signaled what Republicans will be saying to try to counter the findings of the investigation, repeatedly suggesting that Pelosi should have done more to protect the capital from the rioting that broke out on January. 6th Mitch. What are other lawmakers saying And you know, is there a sense that people think a panel dominated by dims can carry out a credible investigation. Well, it's interesting. Hillary, the remaining Republican on the committee, Congresswoman Liz Cheney says the panel can carry out a legitimate investigation and she actually remains critical of McCarthy. She told us on the Capitol steps that she is committed to finding out the facts and that this is the only option left. I also spoke with Maryland Democrat Jamie Raskin. He said he believes the Democrats can carried out a balanced investigation into what happened and he says they really have to But you can expect Republicans to repeatedly creates questions about how Democrats are investigating the insurrection and to suggest they're doing all of this in an effort to undermine former President Trump and cast political shade on Republicans will also what we've been following the Senate Republicans blocking debate on the bipartisan infrastructure plan for moving forward. What happens now? Well, it still has life. This was basically a party line vote today, With all 50 Republicans voting not to advance debate on the close your vote. They say There's no bill. So how can you vote to move it ahead? Democrats counter that's actually done frequently as legislation is finalized, But this does not mean the end of the bipartisan plan. Democrats and Republicans still working with staff to put together the package as a bill, and that's likely to happen in the coming days, and Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer has made it clear he plans to bring this up for another vote, so we'll likely see this issue come up again next week. WNBA Star Liz Cambage Withdraws From Olympics, Citing Mental Health

"Today about Liz Cambage. Um, you know, She has been very open about her mental health struggles. She wrote a story for the Players Tribune a couple years ago, acknowledging that she had been on suicide watch in 2016. She has some D N. P s for panic attacks. Um, has struggled with substance abuse. So when this comes out today, there is, of course, absolutely empathy and respect for her decision to protect herself. But of course, there's more to the story than that. There's the conversation around her partying in Vegas and violating Protocols. There's the story of an altercation in practice or in that friendly with Nigeria, the closed door matchup. How do you reconcile all the different parts of that story in in terms of her, then announcing she would remove herself from the situation perhaps before they had an opportunity to do just that without, you know, without her doing it. Well, I think that first and foremost, the mental health aspect is key. And a lot of the other behaviors and I have nothing to um You know, I have no facts to base on the other stuff that you mentioned. All I know is that first and foremost The middle health aspect and to be able to address and acknowledge that she has some mental health issues and to remove herself from the team. To take care of herself. First, I think is the most important thing.

"One of the gifts that my mother gave me that. I didn't realize until i got older. Was the gift of resilience. Have you ever seen a child fall in a playground or a park and scraped their knee. Their first reaction is to look at their parent if their mom or dad reacted and rushed to them. And said oh my god what happened only instantaneously. The child will start crying because in that moment that charl realizes i think just really did something majorly bad to my body right. Something bad happened. My mom or dad is reacting this way. I should be crying right now when i felt the park and scraped my knee or even broke my thing. After one time. When i was playing basketball my mom would just brush it off now. My broke my finger. We went to the hospital calmly. But if i scraped my knee if i was bleeding i cut my elbow and i fought my bike. Something like that. It was a very almost blase reaction. She was just kind of like Your i dust yourself off. They're going to be okay. Keep playing an. I thought that was normal. Until i got hurt in front of some of my friends and i was just like. Oh it's nothing has moved on the like. What shouldn't you go home and put a band aid on it. Get disinfected maybe you should stop playing. Also what he is talking about. This is nothing. I didn't think it was nothing. Because i was a doctor. I thought it was nothing. Because of the way was trained. And i'm so thankful that. I was raised that way because what my mom was. Kinda doing liz. Hey you're going to have bumps and bruises in life. You're going to scrape your knee. You're going to get hurt. But you gotta keep on going. You gotta dust yourself off. You can't let setbacks stop you from achieving what you're trying to do and there are going to be a lot of scrapes and bruises and worse punches in the face. Our Mythical Bootstraps

"Of individualism and pulling yourself up by your bootstraps. What do you guys think. I think that this idea of being self made is is one of those things that we present to people. But it's a fantasy world it's amid. That's not how it actually works. I had a friend Her name is liz and she used to always say what her biggest regrets was that she was not born to rich parents and is always funny when she says it but i mean the her statement makes sense. We actually have zero choice and the situation that we are born into and the a lot of the foundations and our life a lot of the the. The trajectory of our life starts at ages that we don't really have the we don't have the ability to really make that many decisions yet but it's really the adults in our lives. That are making the decisions for us. But you have to understand that everyone does not start at the same starting line and we're talking about Being successful we have to really you know. Be mindful that everyone is not you. I think if we start there we can be a lot more empathetic about people's situations and that doesn't diminish your experience it doesn't diminish your experience to say that you had some help along the way or some luck that's a good point like both can be true you can both work really hard and also have a really good support system is another good example of this is a lot of the systems that we have in america. They require you to kinda have that support system. Good example of

Dr. Jill Biden Is A First Lady For All of Us

"Jill biden visits community colleges which is a lot these days. She was received in highly choreographed. Settings by governor say were members of the public as the nation's first lady but to administrators teachers. She has dr. Jill biden college professor at salt community college in illinois. There were pink and white flowers out. Everywhere befitting her visit the even matched her white dress and pink jacket but there was also a welcome. Dr biden sign so huge that the period on the doctor was as big as her head. It felt like a subtle rebuke to that scolding. She was subjected to back in december for using the title. She has every right to indeed in all the places she goes lately. She is honored as a woman with several degrees. Who has worked really hard her whole life at the most relatable job there is. Everyone has a favorite teacher. After all on our visit to the navajo nation. In april dr biden was introduced by someone came to think of as the ruth bader ginsburg of indian country chief justice of the navajo nation. Supreme court joanne. Jane a tiny woman with hair pulled back in a tight ponytail. Winning doc martens dr biden. Millions reap inspiration from your quote. Teaching isn't just what i do. It is who i am in birmingham alabama. She was introduced by a lawyer. Liz huntley a sexual abuse survivor whose parents were drug dealers. I want to thank dr biden from the bottom of my heart for the role that she plays not just the first lady but for her heart for educating she told me she's grading papers on the plane. Y'all what who does that. They say being an educator as a calling in your life that you can't resist and she just won't let it go. December debate of titles seems awfully small in the face of all of this. Jill biden schools visiting vaccinations sites traveling to red states to sell the american rescue. Plan telling folks that help us here. The role she's fulfiling on these visits is in many ways neither first lady nor professor but a key player in her husband's administration a west wing surrogate and policy advocate and underestimated asset. As mary jordan the washington post reporter written a book about melania trump. Put it to me. It's hard to imagine. Joe doing this without her which is not to say that dr biden who is constitutionally shy doesn't take special delight in these visits she becomes looser goofy and more expansive. You generally hear her before you see her because she is often laughing. She is quite simply a joy multiplier as part of her elevator pitch for free community college part of the one point eight trillion american families plan president biden proposed to congress in april. She likes to talk about one of most dedicated students. A military interpreter from san came to america to start a new life a few semesters ago. I got a text trimmer. "A half years behind bars after being sentenced today for the murder of George Floyd, WGN political analyst Paul isn't it? The bottom line is he made just to 15 years for good time and all of that? That would be true for anybody but The sentence is 22 a half years you can call that light or not. But that should be the number of people focus on Liz Nick, adding, however, that this is just the beginning for show of in in terms of prison time, he is still in the middle of a federal civil rights case that could keep him behind bars for the rest of his life. "Your december labs. Tell me about what you do there. And what's your maybe a i at december labs. We are dedicated to building designing custom software products. That's a technical way of putting it. I really likes to look at it. More at if we are helping other companies in japan our founders building not just their companies their dreams their visions and coming to my will. I am the decline strategy. I'm oftentimes the fund that gets help them visualize How that might look like and how we can help. And i think that's also one of the parts that i'm most passionate about because on the contrary to for example just working of at one company with their specific product actually get to talk to really amazing people every day and find out really about not just things that they are building today but also i think some of the nation's tomorrow i enjoy the work too. I loved the nets. One reason why. I always enjoyed the agency. Life is the variety. It's a new conversation every day. It's fantastic and so it's it's it's an extra special treat today to be talking to a colleague like yourself that works in the same space and experiences the same opportunities that i do as well so let me kick it off liz a lot of the times. The first conversation. I have with people is. I want to build an app. How much to build an app i tell them. There's a lot to unpack there. Should you build an app. Why would you want to build an application if somebody comes to you. Liz and how much for an app. What's usually your first. What are some of your first questions you want to. What do you want as just said the first question is really. Should you build out the riots and for the right space for that vision for that product offering that you have and really one of the first things you always have to look at in which i also of course ask these conversations is users that would like to use whatever you have to offer in an app because that's really where it all starts out with if you are not building something for someone for user for customer for clients. Then you're just not getting it right from the

Kevin Hart's 'Fatherhood' Coming to Netflix This June

"In the last segment. I just finished talking about the newly released from. Kevin hart fatherhood which just happens to be making. Its release. on father's day weekend this film will be released on netflix. June eighteenth and it tells the real life story of matthew lauglin who loses his wife liz shortly after the birth of his daughter and he must balance dealing with the loss of his wife providing for his daughter and providing for his daughter in more than just having a job in providing a certain level of care. This film has many layers to it and provides kevin hart with the opportunity to show off of more dramatic side of his acting talents. The book it is based off of is called to kisses for maddy a memoir of loss and love. And if all that isn't enough this film is produced by the obamas. One of the production companies involved in making this film reality is higher ground production. Which is the company. That was started by former president obama and first lady michelle obama in two thousand eighteen. This movie fatherhood will actually serve as higher ground productions first feature length film as to this point. They had mostly been focused on documentaries including american factory as well as the documentary becoming which took a look at michelle obama's heritage so whatever your political stances. If you're making a film that is backed by a former president. You are probably doing something right and once again. That film is fatherhood. Starring kevin hart and it will be making its debut on net flicks. Friday june

"In and what are their challenges i believe that is a good thing oh i think what i'm talking about when it comes to systems is that you have to build your business assertain way you need to build a list and then you have to have a lot of people on your list and then you have to email them at least every week in have to have consistency and you have to have this to have to have that in i am sure that is working for a lot of people it just wasn't working for me in i think a lot of entrepreneurs are just like me they're sitting there in the can't make it worth it's not that they don't want to it's not that a they black imagination or gills or anything it's just not working for them so i started building my business of very different way i do grow my list in i am paying attention to everybody who signs up for my list but might way of connect eating with people is a little bit more personal little bit more intimate and talking to the masses was what wasn't working for me so i started inviting people into facebook group and i started working with people in my group where i could connect with them either personally one on one in the group or with a lot of people in the group and that started actually working for so my face the crip has my list a lot more than my actual lists so whenever i write an email to buy list by always have thompson going on in my grip that i invite them to participate in at the same time like integrating the two systems yes said information out to ballistic and then have them take action somehow in the facebook group exactly you providing a wealth of information that is going to help our audience tremendously have definite faith in that.

"Shout your brand from the rooftop i know there's a saying that if your brand your business clydes will come which is partly correct in you can do it that way or you can combine the two methods which is what i do so i have a really clear well defined archetype that i have actually written a lot of things about this client avatar what she reads where she goes a what she's interested in what your problems are what our challenges what are her strengths of what does she dream about and stuff like that where does she feel extreme pain that cetera et cetera but then i'm using my tipple language to address her challenges your particular archetypical language as opposed to her artistic language exactly i'm glad it didn't have to say that fast five times i'm glad that you did not do that i'm certainly not gonna try cheesy okay well i'm getting this on i mean i still i think this is brilliant because now you've taken to the next level by not only finding a way how to resonate with specific clients new then turned around and define that even further by using both who you are and your language in relation to your client avatar exactly i think you are extremely wise thank you you're saying is really really good i like what you're saying about instead of doing what everybody else is telling you to do with other systems yep thank online right now it has become flooded with so many experts that know what's good for them although at the same time the main strategies you're supposed to take on is who is your fly.

"Saying which i think is genius is that you went onto the online business and you're trusting other people to tell you what to do yes but when you found that that wasn't working for you you were able to adapt to this online system and find something that did work for you i did and we're using these words that fit of specific archetype tight when you do your business do you use those words or do you use the words that resonate towards the audience you're dealing with well actually use why branding it's my brand is an alchemist maverick in a use words that go together with those two archetypes when i market my business what i seem to attract as not so many mavericks i attract a lot of alchemists and a lot of nurturers and basically people who are fascinated by a different way of doing things like people who are attracted to doing things wrong way that's what i seem to attract no matter who they are which means i also attract a lot of the archetype artists i must say that a lot of times when you go into business they say you need to find your target market who who you're going to address and so we do that although kind of what you're telling me is that when you work from a archetype platform you putting the information out there in relation to your archetype and what you are tracting is other people that are within that same archetype yeah within that same archetype or archetypes that relate to your words even if they don't have exactly the same archetype i strongly believe the building a very good client avatar is extremely important because you need to know who you are talking to you can.

"Me and rather than just having an agenda than him forcing and this is the way we gotta do it so those types of things so it allows you to see things that might be coming up that you might not notice otherwise i have something i do sometimes when i'm working with teams or trickily people that manage other people is upbringing big rock and it's an interesting thing because what the rock represents it's heavy is that weight of responsibility really build strength and talent and so often what i notice our leaders will take on other people's responsibilities rather them engaging them to do it and they might do that because they don't trust that it'll be done like they want it to be done or done on time or even completed at all and so when leaders take on that weight of their people they really take oppertunistic away from them so my whole thing is about how do you engage another person to do to learn and to contribute to whatever it is that you're doing so i think sometimes when you're very capable person it's really easy to do things rather them coach people through how to do them themselves because it seems quicker in the moment but as actually takes more of a toll on you over time yes i completely under stand that i'm going through a situation now where i find that i'm taking a lot of responsibility like raising children to or serve although the important thing is to really create a balance i'm thinking mutually beneficial relationship between two people whether it be were whether it be relationship or any other environment rights as you said earlier that we are in very excel arated times and it's important to create a balance absolutely and balanced really comes from the whole engagement thing think a lot of times we make assumptions about what other people are thinking or what they're going through i think now probably more than ever in my life it's really important to check in with people you know what's working for you here what's happening in your life what are you finding challenging right now where do you feel like you could use some support rather than saying hey i need this from you that way you know where people are.

"And innovation field and what makes my work unique is the fact that i am a martial artist and i practice a martial art that is called aikido aikido is all based upon position rather than force so i've developed a method i call spiral impact where people can learn when they feel resistance what do they do with them and do they overwhelm themselves with it or do they move with a an create engagement and innovation that's what i do now and i've been doing it for twenty five years mainly inside organizations with leaders and their teams that sounds very interesting on i do want to ask you about one thing you mentioned it when you started your business twenty five years ago you did not experience very much support in what you were doing not from my family i got a lot of support from people outside of my family and i think in terms of business breakthroughs which is what your shows about it i think there is something really important about finding one's calling or not necessarily finding it but letting it find you and recognizing that you're calling may not be lined up with everybody around us calling and that was a real lesson for me but i felt such a clarity about it that i didn't doubt it at all oh great job for recognizing that great job for knowing that this was your calling it helps you to recognize how important it was absolutely and so i've been in business for twenty five years and businesses spiral impact and of course just like a spiral there's ebbs and flows and there's constant change and growth and movement with that as well and so i apply model to not just teaching but also to my own experience in terms of business development though it's very multi dimensional as so when you say spy will impact it makes me think that you're adapting all the time to the changes that are going on.
