"For a bike ride with the kids, hundred degrees outside quite hot twelve boy. We're going to go get ice cream. There's nothing men when you're really hot and thirsty, and just die in for a drink of water like thick creamy ice cream that you're forced to eat outside, because it's closed inside your standing on the under degree. Heat with your ice cream turned into water. In your lacking as fast as you can, anyway, so we had to stop at this Burger joint to get some to drink, because we are so thirsty and I went inside in all of the college age. Girls in there were wearing black lives matters t-shirt. Go Boy, and you know I assume they're they're they're. They're promoting the idea that black people should be treated the same way as white people by police, which we all agree with as opposed to the actual organization, black lives, matter, which is a Marxist organization and believes in the destruction of the nuclear family and doesn't like capitalism. Right? You're working in A. Okay, so I assume that they also had the sign outside the door, which I thought was interesting. We welcome all races all color, all colors, all ethnicities, all spoken languages, all beliefs, all religions, all ages, abilities, disabilities all gender identities, all countries of origin, all sexual orientations we stand with you. You are safe here and I thought I'll bet if my dad walked in here and old white male in his trump hat. You would not have a good feeling about him. You welcome him. I'm almost positive. You'd probably serve him, but you'd be bothered by it. And you talk to all your friends about how disgusting. It was right so the idea that you you you welcome. All everything is only. Only if everybody agrees with your politics, and it's even there's a it's the the double cheeseburger of hypocrisy and dumb in that we know you're welcome. All colors and creeds and stuff you got to. It's in the law, and you did before you put up that sign and you will after the signs up to so the sign serves no purpose. Inner Ain't nobody in your town. Who thinks you don't know him? Except for the people who don't welcome and there are some of those injections, pointed it out. See your double full of crap. I'd like the double full of Crap Burger Palace Christian trump supporter really excited to have been here I'll bet you're not I think abortion is murder. Anyway so this thought experiment around the whole. How far is this GONNA go? allowing are allowing buildings to be the businesses to be looted that sort of thing. and saying well, you know it's people just expressing themselves. You can understand why. And then the statues coming down the thought experiment is this and Actually I took it from a tweet yesterday from Professor Lindsay Scott a PhD in mathematics matic's, but he considered considers himself though. thinker in the nation on the whole. Social Justice Warrior thing and he probably is he calls himself an anti-revolutionary, which I really liked. That's an interesting kind of play on words and stuff. Yeah, but he thinks you should do this to everyone you meet I. think that'd be a good way to get into a fistfight and and not have any friends, but I would like it posed to all politicians everywhere every mayor, your representative, whoever and maybe people in the media well, maybe everybody listening might want to I i. don't even know what he's about to say my friends, but maybe you want tweeted or posted that sort of I really like it and I think it's perfect. Tell me. What's too far described to me? What's too far? Make people. Tell you what's too far. Get Him on the record with what's too far I? Love that for one thing if you had done this a month ago. I think a lot of people would say well, you know. Smashing bidden businesses and stealing everything out of them would be would be too far. That's got nothing to do with the God. HOW ABOUT SETTING FIRE TO BUSINESSES? Including minority owned business, pulling down statues and Parks of presidents would be too far. "Filling in for Chris Jericho Jeff formal along with former LSU cornerback heard Tyler it's the WW well Gulf coast bank and trust tiger tail gate show. as we are broadcasting right next to the LSU administration building here on LSU campus final four to six oh one eight seventy is the number you want to finish your story about Georgia tech in yeah it is losing the Citadelle yeah what about walking on the house and the you well I'm watching the game and wife that Notre Dame is always you walk at the TV and all of a sudden she's they'll look at Kobe home right now it's not your daughter or daughter Kobe I'm like that's not heard they go inside of the second quarter get ready fast time because you know she performs with the band is like no it is not it's Kobe rewind if everyone is so an officer so we start taking pictures steals decide yeah it's right on par that we got this great thing called **** content were not that great. because it is you would take the pictures and all this other stuff so she's only within after that looking at the field all of this the look in in the in the stands so she's probably saw the writing on the wall. not true at all she didn't care one bit about it's not that bad yeah okay this is this and then the football field on the top of the roof is your skyline moved to New York whatever done man especially love to do so she's not disappointed at the Yeltsin announced on out today but actually I. I would like. the laws that are going to get a bowl trip that's for sure. they look they see the office of change has not I watched I went to two games last year Clinton which was that again yeah which I thought was it was the quarterback coming up on several arcserve alone she took gold for bright that particular game with their and then another gave me the look they did not look good at all office of Rick and I went last week in a look exactly the same as last year in them supposed to change often but it's not things all right update from Columbia South Carolina has responded and now they trail Alabama fourteen to ten late in the first quarter up that come in. I have to really just buried will Muschamp. okay somebody's got a resurrected missed a mixtape all right let's bring in Mike to Chile es in this segment is brought to you by sports medicine center and Thibodeau regional keeping you in the game Mike thanks a lot for spending a few minutes with us today we really appreciate it how you doing I'm doing great listen I agree with her band at that off into judges checking change one bit yeah. that's that's good lip service but that a that a reality and I'd sent him readable textiles like ma'am you make maybe feel a little bit better Kansas state you know upsets Mississippi state and I know rubles response is going to be no it don't make me feel better we got crushed by yeah right yeah and I I'm glad to see Lindsay Scott heading to Nichols that's yeah I thought it too that's yeah you know he's you know with with chase in his final season you know you can see lenses goal be next man up and but then I think when you've got a chance to be a really good player in the south really do man in this office Mike I thought Lindsey had a great opportunity to be a good player in any in the end that type of office anywhere in the country whether it was S. C. C. R. A. C. C. R. thought we come for that matter all he needed was a shot yeah I don't want to give him a shot he'll do quite well. eagle be what it is one thing for sure you'll be one of the smartest guys they got no no yeah you're right you're right very smart great leader and easy to get good arm good run yep do a lot of everything yeah in my mind and if he was six foot three Hey that's not fair. I'm just saying I'm just saying I I mean it's the facts. hello marine. Colin Murray use stretching him at five nine yeah and look at what he's done yeah yeah all you need is an opportunity up at the right place right time as Joe borough about that yeah yeah and another guy who's got an opportunity here Mike it's just a jump. this kid who would have thought I mean he was a coach talked about it earlier this week it is Monday lunch in about they reserved a a scholarship form he comes out a tester hand not really highly recruited not you know it and and all of a sudden he has turned out to be one of the top not only one of the top receivers in the SEC but in the country I mean are we looking at a a a blasphemy potential first round pick here Mike. well people that say that you know he was a non signature player didn't watch defter hand play yeah no I'm close enough I may not see doctor him play a lot no they they got some athletes on that team and you know he was a late signing does a lot of schools like Nichols make me use Louisiana tech that will say Hey listen come play for us but but o'connor had put that aside with Justin and you know it's a matter of trust an herb can talk about this because not as a quarterback you might have talent around you but is the trust factor you have with the guy that you no worries on the field you know he's gonna run is rolled correctly and he's going to come up with a catch in traffic that would just thing can do and if you don't respect his deep speed you can run right past you know he was not this simple highly recruited play like his brother Jordan was but that'll mean you can't play man all I can tell you as you go watch death Strahan played in see the athletes they got on that football team and you know it it just maybe wasn't the right spot for him to hit the spot light but he is now and I use the the trust factor with him enjoy borrow your more chase and terrace Marshall or bigger or faster more talented maybe athletically than Justin but as a quarterback I know where he is on the field he's almost I'm tuned in with him and I get it look at that thirteen seventeen place okay Joe gets flushed out of the pocket he's got to make a play on the move and that duty is beaten down he's on our with him and he makes a dart through to Justin and him and he takes it the rest of the way you gotta have trusting your receiver that he's going to be in that spot you can't be pointing saying Hey look a little bit over here we will all be dead no you gotta have trust in him and I think. you see that and he is developed into a very good college player in someone that's going to play the next level and again it's the trust factor that he's gonna gain with who's ever the quarterback I know where you are out on the field I'm not allowed to look around for you that's something that that Justin has. Annie is a junior so he could still come back there season but not sure draws already going to pitch that may come back in place no the season here right not going to be a short of being a first round pick and and that sort of thing and so I I think that you know he's he's got a decision to make but you know it's much tougher if you have a first round pick grade on yet man that money is hard to turn down my that goes with that money got to go get the money if it's there take the money but the issue is going to have coming back is Jabbar won't be yeah so how do you model we transfer from that from Joe burrow tomorrow with the repairs to whoever it may be you know right right well my thing is ill take miles about ten seconds to figure out I know where he's a he's supposed to feel I know where he is I thank you yes you as a quarterback herb you understand that there are certain people out there that you understand that day on the stand okay and some other guys got tremendous talent but they kind of drift in their routes you know it may be ten yards and then all of a sudden there are eleven your you know more than not at that particular position and that makes you look bad you know because people say oh look at what a soft target no it's also receive these gonna run that route correctly I think if you know it just it comes back miles we'll figure this out real quick but look at that receiving corps dies in forty five. division one high school players have gotten skull the forty five high school players in Louisiana last four years at wide receiver of gotten scholarships from Louisiana my thing is yeah I want to run that offense. because I can get all those players and I can go outside Louisiana to recruit some of those guys to that some talking with Mike to Tilly a here is we talk about not only you know LSU football players and where they're at at this point but kind of projecting it down the road if future wise Ryszard Lawrence not plane here tonight my kid and it's kind of a shame because we just. we saw a healthy Ryszard Lawrence last week or not last week but in the in the your descendants well in the not only the Georgia southern game but in the central Florida game in the ball game yeah and we saw what kind of player he can be I just feel like we're not we're not because of these injuries that he has suffered here during his time at Ellis you right we're we're not seeing the real Ryszard Lawrence and I'm wondering how that might impact his future draft prospects listen anytime you down with an injury you know it's about availability no the NFL does pay attention to that you you know you you got to be available all I know last week and that was one defensive lineman early in that game that dominated it was restored once that can block him he was in the back feel more than that would you was I mean they they were just sort of two hand touch in him they couldn't control him in any has a leg injury again only thing I know is P. Jenkins been coaching a lot of years in college football and he told me Mike he's the toughest defensive lineman I have ever coached in my entire life. now listen piece got the ear of a lot of NFL will become the P. but that's what he told me to listen resorts talented but he said he's the toughest guy I have ever coached ever you think one may be suffering Tolchin since the late seventies that's a long time right put out to roll and to get that type of deal is not no cool jokes thanks a lot of it too it's just a shame me he's been hurt quite a bit because that will affect his draft status no matter what people can say well this and that it does because the NFL pays attention to availability but he does have time this year to come back and make amends and he's a big part of that difference of lime jell issue he can play in or tackle in the NFL you complete ended at three four you can play tackle in a four three and so that that versatility is going to help his NFL stock Hey Mike I I eggs Chris Blay this early in the day who own LSU team right now who is your favorite office a player in the free with different the plan what. man hello Joe burrow but to me I think you're more chase is the next superstar player mal for Ellis you on offense and on defense. you know what he did with the diaper last week it was the freshman Derrick joining the junior when you think about what human cage York did you know in that outing on the road and sometimes freshman you feel a little bit of the nerves there all I know is Texas real football him a couple times early in the game had no success then when he came almost with unbelievable interceptions that when he was a man I don't know football no more that guy one of the Christian Fulton and that's exactly what they did and what ball no more Derek band dodged the greatest respect you can get as a freshman that date turned away from you and they went up to a guy was the best cornerback on your team a year ago news things got a chance to be special and is but returned skills I did ported that Ellis you could have been sure we go Joe and we talk enough to how good is it but return you look at me start to laugh he said he's not elite he's the light..

"After vince dooley leaves and might be a self-fulfilling question but what exactly happened to georgia in the late eighties and nineties other than steve spurrier and those florida order teams becoming quickly a force of nature well steve spurrier happened but also ray goff probably wasn't the right guy. <hes> and spurrier really enjoyed rubbing it in on gough. The problem is when you're when you're rival has is best coach ever and you just lost your best coach ever and replaced him with somebody who wasn't of the same caliber than something like that is bound to happen. You know spurrier's last year at florida was two thousand one so you never really got to see steve. Steve spurrier florida team against a really competently coach georgia team. I do wonder what would have happened had. Let's say you know a version. Origin of kirby smart been there now curvy smart. There's a player playing so spurrier team but somebody like that who recruited like that would would it have been different. I don't know but that's the thing you know golfing don and just weren't really a match for spurrier. I think rick might event had they gotten to play a little bit by the time richt was was in their spurrier earlier was on his way out kirby smart of course the current georgia coach and who has done early on in his tenure a pretty incredible job for georgia you had mentioned don't buck blue and lindsey scott this incredible play at the end of a game that florida never should have lost but georgia ends up pulling out in the last moments that seems like it would be the most haunting moment in the rivalry for a fan base in florida but to you i guess is it and what else comes to mind as the the moments that just i live in the brains of florida georgia fans well that is absolutely the biggest moment that haunts florida people. I mean you can't even compare because they they had the game won. Georgia is backed up as far as it can be packed up and <hes> there's this this and it's not you know it's not had a deep bomb where lindsay scott catches it in the end zone. It's buck blue hits and open lindsay scott and there's nobody from florida to tackle him and then you get the larry munson call that this makes it. I feel like every s._c._c. fan worth his salt knows at least part of that larry munson call <hes> i do radio shows on cerise x._m. And i was in a hotel room once doing a show and i sat down and it broke the chair and of course the best part of larry munson calling lindsay scott touchdown is larry munson chair breaks in the middle of it and larry goes. I share it was a steel metal. Jared alabama three's cushion so when i broke my chair in my hotel room i immediately say i broke my share. It was a steel metal chair with three inch cushion in my coast hosts. Didn't it just went right over his head and i'm like what's wrong with you. How do you not know that but it's just one of those incredible moments where complete eat despair turns into complete jubilation on one side and then vice versa on the other side meanwhile you're in a stadium. We're half of the fans or rooting for one team and half for the other so just the emotional shift in that moment. You got this guy up in the press box. Go on all dog people that are saint simon's harman's island and they're going to be a property destroy tonight. It was the perfect college football moment unless you wanted florida win for sure so. Is there a moment that haunts georgia fans or is it just the nineties in general. It's the nineties in general there's not one particular moment like there are things that bother the florida fans like the fourth and dumb call during the doug ding era where they went forward on fourth down and and basically cost them a game <hes> then you've got the gator stomp which is when richt sins the entire team on the field to celebrate a touchdown in two thousand seven which really gotten in the floor of players heads after that i i i don't know exactly why that moment just discombobulated them as much as it did but then they absolutely cannot tackle no sean marina the rest of the day day it was it was a thorough beating georgia florida in two thousand seven so there are moments like that for florida fans but there's not really that one moment. I don't don't think for the georgia fans is just the sheer misery of knowing that steve spurrier was going to run it up on you and laugh at you. Is there an era. <hes> is it richt and urban meyer. Is it the late stage of of spurrier going against georgia. Is there a stage where it was at its highest level to you two thousand by was a huge game for florida because urban meyer and in his staff just gotten to florida they come in with his spread option offense and it was like oh oh you know is. Is it going to work in the s._e._c. and they were supremely confident that would it would work and then alabama l._s._u. Had completely shut it down. They'd made basically wholesale. Changes is during the open date before georgia where they scrapped their their offense they scrap their baby and created a makeshift offense based on what florida had run the previous year under larry fedora because it was something they knew the players they had could do and they come out and score a couple of quick touchdowns against georgia asia and the defense holds arrested. That is the happiest i have ever seen a coaching staff when florida won that game the hugs it urban meyer in his staff forgiving forgiving each other. It looked like oh my god we can do this. We're not gonna fail in this league because after the l._s._u. game which had been the previous game but thought was this may not work out. That's the one where urban meyer shed tears in his post game press conference after l._s._u. <hes> and so the thought was this is probably not gonna work out. Georgia was a top five team that that year beating them made urban meyer and company realize you know what we're going to be able to figure this out and you know they wind up winning national title year later but it was a high level thing and georgia was great in two thousand seven and a third of been a playoff in two thousand seven at the end of the year. Georgia would have been the team. Nobody wanted to play in that thing and they might have won a national title title there but it just felt like they never never could both be great at the same time like two thousand eight georgia comes in is the preseason number one and they got matthew hugh stafford and merino back but they got shelby alabama early in that season about time you got to the florida georgia game florida was head and shoulders better and that's sort of in the problem problem is it's never quite even doubt in this era and i keep waiting for that game to happen and it just never quite comes if you were to select select fan base that is more into this to whom winning means more like the s._e._c. says it just means more or losing hurts more is either. One of these fan bases more invested in the rivalry. I think georgia is at the moment just because this generation of georgia fans drew up a such disappointment in this rivalry they just got pounded so much in the florida fans got so spoiled by the success that that generation of florida fans views beating georgia's birthright now you find an older florida fan you find a florida fan over sixty years old they will say oh. I cherish every time time the gators beat georgia because for a long time. I thought it would never happen regularly so the older florida fans really appreciate it. I'm not sure if the younger bruins appreciate it as much because they grew up thinking oh georgia's team the florida beets every year and meanwhile they're georgia counterparts grew up thinking florida you know stops opsahl flat every year boy love to get him back and so now that it is more even with kind of lean toward georgia. I do think those georgia fans are appreciating she aiding it. You know the older fans i talked about. They really appreciated those wins in the nineties. I think the georgia fans who are seeing georgia wins now feel that same way andy staples apple's. Thank you very much for your time my pleasure. It's.

"Ball, look at the the, you know, these, you know, twenty four seven sports ESPN dot com. Look at their projected rankings commitments for next year. The Gators our top five or six I believe they're even the head of Georgia. If I'm not mistaken right now and Mullen had a top ten top ten recruiting classes past season when Dan Mullen gets the talent. And there that he's never had Mississippi State. He's going to make Florida and absolute powerhouse again. Great stuff might be Ocoee. You can read his column on on Georgia. And where they believe in where they should be Mike, Michael come back soon. This was always enjoyed. It's up. Mike Bianchi, dropping some Napon here on the Georgia nation and listening to the Paul finebaum show podcast. Mike starts us off in Georgia. Mike, thank you. Good afternoon day Powell will be he did a good job of getting me riled. I get the read a good article. But the main the one of the main things above me about what he said was talking about that play to Lindsay, Scott and calling it a fluke play. Now. It'd be like me saying that to is past when they beat Georgia and the national championship was a fluke play. I mean, it was an improbable play. But it was a great play in the in the plate Lindsay Scott was a great play. And he talks like he frames it like Georgia was very week that year, and we didn't have a championship quality team. Well, we didn't lose an SEC game in nineteen eighty eighty one or eighty two. So I mean, the guys just I mean, he's just arguing from point of I think instead of he thinks the Georgia fans believed their elite. I think he's scared Georgia is becoming a leap, and I think that's where the real fear that. Yeah. Listen, you know, I think he showed his school colors a little bit at the end by by the propping up, Dan Mullen, and the the warning to Georgia that your window is pretty narrow the Dan Mullen is coming after you, listen, I yeah. And he's quoting twenty four seven rankings, which do not mean anything right now. And right. And if you look at it, and you know, this Florida Georgia. Recruiting does not compare right now. I mean, Georgia is way way ahead of Florida. Absolutely. You know? And also, I mean, I agree. The gators. They went ten games last year great season. But they also lost to Kentucky for the first time since the world began. They also got thrashed by Missouri. And so I mean, you know, and they got beat by Georgia. So I mean, I don't know. I just think he's a he's a little bit over e-e-e-e-no rating where the Gators on where they stand great to hear from you. Thank you, very very much. Let's go to our next in Georgia. Good afternoon, high Paul thanks for taking the call. Thank you, Mr. Bianchi needs to look in the mirror talking about Jill Japan's thinking they're more than they are Florida fans. You know, that's like the pot calling the ten the black really because there is odd noxious as anybody as far as the recruiting rankings that he said at this time last year Georgia was in thirty. I think so let's laugh. One who understands anything about recruiting don't. I mean, listen, you're you're seeing some trend lines right now. But you're not qualifying how many scholarships each school has to give and you, and I both know this will change dramatically between now and late December. Yeah. It will. And the in a fully believe the Kirby will be fine. You know in that area. He's proven that while he was L Bama. And now, so I'm not worried about recruiting rankings in may. And I don't think he is either. I could almost guarantee you that I will see Kirby tomorrow and will interview him and can willing to bet he's he's not concerned at all do gene is up next in Duluth, Georgia. Hello eugene. Hi, paul. How you doing man? We all right. Thank you very much really always Joey program, and I just teen and few minutes ago. I think the timing was pretty good because I came in on the tail end of this Biak, you fellas. His ramblings. I think he's coming in from some other planet or something. He doesn't seem to be engaged in the present. When he started.

"Blame me for trying to make a play. Now at the six yard line that you you did at once. Okay. That's great. But now you your offense has got to get something here. Every point they have it's been special teams. It's time for that dry. They did it against Vanderbilt. Can they do it against this defensive Missouri? So Kentucky from its own six yard line ninety four yards away. From taking the lead with four ten to play Dorian Baker single covering. What else left with a tight end? One white outright. And at the smell straight ahead and nothing there you've got to you just have to throw the football. When a cornerback is playing ten yards offer receiver in single coverage. There's nobody on the white quadrant of the field. But one cornerback you gotta throw it. So now second down and nine Kentucky three forty eight to play. I flew wide ride. Again. You've got it added to wideouts left Wilson. He's going to throw this time, and he's got bakery. But he's tackled right? Where he caught it written out of bounds. But it was keep the clock rolling. Got all the way up to the fourteen. Yards. Think we'll see what they spotted. Almost fifteen. Third one. You've got to snapping. Let's go too much Tom fifteen clock ticking Kentucky, timeouts left, fourteen nine Missouri. Leads frio eight to play Benny smell shifts into the pistol behind Wilson. Techy? Not been able to convert in third and fourth and short too much time under three minutes to play. And wilson. Takes the snap. Drops. The throw run it run it run it run it looking throwing deep down the middle of the field. Overthrow than intercepted. Richardson flag comes down going to be an illegal block on Missouri. All he has to do is run the ball all the way up to the thirty yard line, Missouri. Returns the interception to the Kentucky forty one yard line. Just the fifth interception of the season for Missouri. Demarcus AC picked it off. But it was basically like building a punt over the shoulder. The pass was too far. The flag is going to be on the return of the interceptions to the flags back at the twenty eight. So during the return blocking the bat number twenty penalty. Penalty from the start of the foul her staff, Missouri. You've got to run that football. Instead of throw that time. He has the whole right side of the village. No one there the cornerback jumps the post pattern and the whole right side of the field is wide open. There's no one there to be a huge gay forty yard fast as he is. But that's an inexperienced quarterback. They can he has to make the big play with his arm there. And all you need one yard firsthand. Exactly. Keep it going. Why throw that? So it's back spotted at the eighteen yard line Kentucky has to timeouts left one first down. And it's over Missouri. Doesn't have a single I down in the second half. Tukhy? Had a chance. Commits the first turnover the day fourteen nine Missouri leads to thirty eight to play. Drew lock. Crockett behind him. Hands it to him coming left. Cross the twenty to twenty two yard line. Four on first down second and six. Twenty five the clock rolls. If you could use its timeouts after this next play if they get the stock. One last chance. Fifteen the clock roles. Play clock still has twenty two seconds on it. The if they get the stop they're going to have a little over a minute. And they get the ball back. If they get the ball back. It's at the Missouri. Twenty two yard line second down and six now down to seven seconds and the play clock. One fifty five to play in the game. Drew LA gives us a Crockett running left hit at the twenty to twenty five trying to fight his way to the first down. I'm going to get there. Got across the twenty five though to the twenty six yard line. And now Kentucky can use a time out. It's going to be third and to Mike Edwards with other tackle. Well, you know, they're going to run it. So. Kentucky's mart move by the running back instead of going out of bounds. He just turns his body and gets an extra yard or two. Set the twenty six on the Missouri side third and two for the Tigers. If they get the first down they put the game away. The lead at fourteen two nine. As you said you've got an experienced quarterback here. Would you fake it and dump it to the tight end? You got the best maybe tight end in football. This guy. It's a gamble because thin completes then you stop o'clock. But but you gotta really do. You gotta really. Kentucky Kentucky's going to load up on the run. You basically run a goal line defense here. I know they're going to split a guy out full corner out of it started. Play clock starts ticking. Reverie keeps blown his whistle. Just start the clock. One forty one to play. He has one time outlet. Could get a stop here. In Albert, oh, those emotion, the right and lock is rolling out sprinting, right? Hit by Taylor. As he throws incomplete. Josh Allen defended the tight end took that away, and then salon Berle's out and has to throw into some tight coverage and throws it incomplete. So you were thinking, right. They they did trust their quarterback safe rollout. Play guitar. He was ready for it. You're gonna get I've never shot with this offense. That's amazing. Bad clock management. There you run the ball make Kentucky USA timeout. Now Kentucky has a time outlet. They got on the board. The only one left. Boden back east. Punk goes over to the far side. It's at the twenty two Boden backs off. And it rolls to the Kentucky nineteen yard line. One twenty four to play zuri fourteen Kentucky nine. Production. Anybody named Lindsay Scott on their team. Silver britches. About this kind of situation where Lindsay's made his famous catch on a little square edited turned and ran all the way for the touchdown. Fluorine Kentucky has one timeout remaining. You were correct still says to on the board. I think that's why said that so Kentucky at its own nineteen yard line. Terry Wilson the quarterback. He has two receivers white each way has been a Missouri. Secondary has been shaky this season, Tom. This is what you wanted. If you're Kentucky a chance with the ball to win the game. Amazing performance by the defense of the secondhand believable. Not a single I down for Missouri. Forty nine total yards of the second half. But all Kentucky's been able to manage the Lynn Boden. Punt return touchdown. Do they have? Another life. These cats have one f- left in them to whiteouts each way for Wilson. I'm twenty four to play up from first downs. He has one time out remain. Jerry Wilson looking less. Trouble sack. He got gotta throw that you cannot take the sack now they have to use the time out. Liam Scott the sack and they only rush three back to the twelve yard line. They lost seven yards a minute nine to play. Experience a Terry Wilson show in here this last couple of garage Wilson setting deep buyers for bowdoin and he makes the catch of the twenty four yard line while short of the first down now, but a dual drive. At the twenty four I need five third and five to white each way. Forty four seconds to play Wilson throws down the Bouvier. Did he make the catch?.

"He lived in briefed wanted to go through when he'd spent hours upon hours. Just practicing his touchdown dances at one day. Well, getting fitted for bifocals, he realized he was never much good at throwing or running or country. Don't even. Yeah. Gavin's chances of playing pro football. We're looking like fourth and long very long, but he did hear how Danko could save money on car insurance. So he switched and saved. Then he did kind of touchdown dense. At least he was still good at that. In Georgia in Jacksonville game day, actually be down there to help set the scene. Just a big game. Really? It's really bad. This is a great robbery game. I mean, the pageantry differ that other games because nobody's ever all the tail getting just a sea of people to stadium split down. The middle is pretty excited you expect on paper for this to be a low scoring game in Florida. I think they need more supposed to blame George keep everything in front of them. They're gonna let Florida dinking Deng her for a big battle down Jacksonville. Florida Georgia line. It'll be it'll be tested today. Jacksonville the site as always a top ten battle. Do you know it's been ten years Mel since Georgia and Florida played a game each ranked in the top ten ten years. The last time Georgia one one of those games was in. I believe nineteen Eighty-three either eighty three or eighty four huge. So that's one of the big headline. We've got three big I would say headliner type games three ranked versus ranked games in this one will go a long way to determining who wins the east and Kentucky has a say in this thing, and we'll talk about their matchup 'cause they got their own worries today. But those three teams are all one loss conference teams right now and Kentucky has an edge because they be Florida. They host Georgia next week, but Georgia Florida here huge game in the east Mel huge game. Remember? Tuck Balu hitting Lindsay, Scott, Georgia, Florida, great memories of this arrival game. And I think you look at the Georgia the question going in in the injury going. Dr is about the quarterback shake from all the very subpar effort against LSU forty-seven percent completion percentage couple interceptions. All these things about trying to balance back from that door Drake from knowing that you've got Justin fields number one player in the entire nation. Number one quarterback number one player at any position coming to Georgia not to be an accent piece. That would be the starter knowing he would have to beat out Jake from at some point, okay or and moving on and transferring somewhere else. Okay. And if he does win the job would happen to the Jake from because it's gonna play out down the road. But a lot of what happens down the road will be determined today. Three thirty eastern in this game with Georgia, Florida. Yeah. You can hear that today. Florida Georgia presented by Dr Pepper. "This the allstatesugarbowl prep. Football roundup on W wwl spring back in Allen look enough for this one guys any any more updates of you high Zachary since last just ninety seconds ago has accurate just had a tunnel screen. They're up around midfield with seven seconds to go here in the half. You high leads it twenty eight twenty one it's been an absolute shootout, and it's eight thirty and we're not even halftime yet. So this is a bit slow game a lot of offense. But actually kinda surprising lease accurate clock run out. I mean, they have so much big playability surprise. You didn't take a shot down the field? But Zachary will get the football to start the second half and this track meet over here in north Baton Rouge. Has this changed your perception of either team, obviously, not for the negative for the positive guys who you more impressed than you thought. You'd be by these teams. I'm more impressed with Zachary me too. I'm more impressed with Zachary. I'll tell you listen Zacharias of great football team. They're they're the five as champs two out of the last three years. They they went up to western row last year one of the semifinals. They really dominate Honda on the championship game a year. Go they returned a lot of their key players Keelan Brown, he special at the quarterback position as a junior. But when you see these two teams on the field, it looks a little bit. Like amidst match you high is so big in so athletic and the way Zachary has moved the football against them. And the way that they've been able to match big plate with big play by you. Hi, this is accurate team is going to be very very tough to beat in five eight when the playoff time comes around where you could tell they're not very big. But they're built for speed. I mean, they put eleven guys on the field. I can run in a swamp to the football. I'm a may. I mean credit to you high with the speed that's accurate been able to put on the field that you have been able to hit so many big plays said, I'll tell you this. If you're listening right now, and you've never been up here. If you want to know where the commitment to athletics, look like at the high school level. This is what it looks like this is a first class facility. It's only getting better. They have an unbelievable football building in the end zone. The team runs out of the coaches offices that look over the field a brand new astroturf said here new track. This place is awesome. They made a commitment to football. And I've made this comment a few times on the air that this program at Zachary is not just trying to be a state power. They're trying to be a national power, and they got all the ingredients up here, and they're getting it going, and they're showing tonight that they're one of our state elite. I was just gonna ask you Alan because you've talked about this as well that you think Zachary is the next dynastic powerhouse. If that's the right phrase to us here in the state that they're going to be dominating five eighth. A very long time to come in on you talked about that a lot. I just don't see them going anywhere. I mean this program. Like, I said they have made a commitment. You ought to see the head a new west Monroe. You ought to see the schools that. I mean, this school is unbelievable. There's a first class facility the athletic facilities. Believe me a second to. None this tremendous commitment. Unbelievable fan support great community. The other day at Shaw we had travel football team. Played travel football team from Zachary, and they showed up and Zachary Bronco uniforms. So even a recreation department here has bought into what's going on here Zachary high school, so how much of that guys is David Bruton. Well, I think he's kept it going. You know, I mean, I think they kind of got it roll on coach winer was here for a while. Now, he's at Donham and coach brewer ten has done a great job. He was at lavonia really built a powerhouse at Livonia, they haven't been the same since he left there. He's coming here to Zachary. But just look at the key players have rolled through here. They had a look at the quarterback Ron they've had coach Lindsey Scott. And now they have Keelan Brown. I mean, that's a pretty good back to back quarterback combo any high school in the entire United States. I mean, that's too big time prospects Lindsay Scott playing quarterback at the university of Missouri. And now you got Keelan Brown if he's not a first or second round pick in baseball. He's gonna sign big time for football as well. And when you have a public school like this. It's an independent school district and you have tremendous facilities. You're not gonna lose you start athletes to select schools. They're all want to stay here and play football. There's a talent rich area. So and you've got to see the supports that this place is they had pairs county line. Playing out here before pre-game as a tailgate party. This is big time football, not only not only big time, Louisiana high school football. This is big time national football being played right here Veritas atmospheres for tailgating and fan support. This is really a ni-. Very very impressed is really a nice place. All right, coach Lou and Allen will check back in with you towards the top of the hour. Again. It's you high Twenty-eight Zachary Twenty-one now at the half Catholic a Baton Rouge. They've retaken the lead over you're actually taking the lead for the first time in this football game thirteen to seven just underway in the third quarter. Denham springs cutting into that live oak lead sound Twenty-three fourteen live oak Walker still shutting out Scotland Ville twenty one nothing twenty four nothing in the second half Slidell at the half thirteen nothing over covington's fountain. Blue fourteen north shore seven Jesuit and Holy Cross there at the half low scoring affair. They're six to nothing. Tractor pull like Alan. I have. Describe it capital. Couple of touchdowns here to get close with a Piscopo twenty two to fourteen country day impressive once again blanking, Madison. Forty four to nothing and Delasalle has a twenty four to fourteen lead over riverside few other scores here final from yesterday Catholic in new Iberia. They get a win back year after the loss and kind of an embarrassing loss for that program last week against Notre Dame. But they win yesterday sixty three to six also union parish who've seen them in the dome before recently twenty one to six over Franklin parish other scores from tonight at half time. It's Lafayette, Christian Twenty-eight, central Catholic, nothing Saint Helena, thirteen nothing at last report on Pope, John Paul, but that report was about twenty minutes ago. Assumption leads south tarragon, fourteen to nothing at halftime and Homer over. Maryville. I believe forty to nothing. No, it's zeal over Maryville twenty three to thirteen Notre Dame and Kaplan this woman much closer than most people expected it seven to six Notre Dame. Does have a lead here. The Kaplan obviously within striking distance there into the third quarter. We will take a break when we come back. "Unpacked in the months ahead but right now I still think coming out of yesterday's news conference with Nick Sabin, we bring in Jim Dunaway you. Can follow him on Twitter you can tell me what his, Twitter, handle is ninety, four five, Jackson, in Birmingham longtime CBS anchor I believe. In the city of Birmingham and what did you? Think about what Nick say we played all, the audio of. Nick, Sabin blaming the. Media first let's start. There you're in the media long with me was not vintage Sabin, to, come in and say hey you guys are to blame for this whole to it's. Low versus Jalen hurts story you guys have. Made this a story win he pulled his starter at halftime with twenty eight million people watching on television and the guy who he replaced the starter with came in and won a national Championship and. Then. He says you guys in the media have. Been turning this into a story Larry Munson one said you gave up I did too right before the great Lindsay Scott pass Nick Sabin gave last year two at halftime he made the change their. Quarterback battles that are covered in the media all over the place it's going to. Happen in Tuscaloosa he knew what he was doing we've all got PHD's all of us not even just us, that covers Abe and everyone who. Watches SEC football we have PHD's when it comes to what, Sabin, is going to, do with, the, the news conferences here it SEC media. Days and yesterday was exactly what everyone predicted he's? Gonna come in and tell you the battles, not over the. Team, is going to. Decide who's going to. End up being the quarterback and the team decided last year you, watch, the body language of first round draft pick Calvin Ridley in the opening game against. Florida state at Mercedes-Benz after the great run. By Damian Harris to start the game because like thirty four yards off tackle second play they go over the top of Derwin James Calvin really has him beat By four steps it's going to be. A touchdown Jalen throws at three yards. Out of bounds instead, of back to the numbers he does it out of bounds body. Language of Calvin real Ridley tells you. Right then all season long the other guys have better. Passer the receiving corps wants to a tongue. Of Loa and that's what it will end up being thought Sabin showed his hand a little. Bit yesterday by saying there will. Be a role for whoever doesn't. Win the job and the only way you have a different guy who's got a role is Jalen hurts to. Me what has been underrated and I haven't heard this you guys may have talked about this a lot is that Jalen hurts, is scheduled to graduate in December I mean whatever you think about his quarterback ability and it's been very good on the field the guy has done such good work in the classroom that he could graduate in two and a half years and I thought Sabin, dropping that bit of knowledge and I'm curious if you guys had discussed it before but to me that is a sign of what his pitches to Jalen hurts which is hey. Stay with me here through the fall. If, you don't win this job You can play and I think it's four. Games they may even altered that rule a little bit. About what the red shirt rule. Is he could then red shirt and when. You graduate as a graduate transfer, you're eligible immediately he'd have two years. Two full years to play anywhere that he wants and determine whether. Or not he's got a future. In the NFL the quarterback position there'd be a, lot of great coaches out there who were falling. All over themselves to bring him in he'd be one, of the biggest transfers we've ever seen now did you know. Or had you guys have been discussing the fact that he was going to graduate in December were you a little bit, surprised that saving let that. Info out it was something we talked. About right after the national championship game because everyone instantly said we'll. Jalen Hertzel, will transfer now you know but everyone was playing out but he's he'd have to. Sit out a year he'll lose that year or have to go to a junior college which we've seen happen. And you looked at all of a sudden asking..

Nick Sabin Jalen Hertzel Calvin Ridley Jim Dunaway Twitter Birmingham SEC Larry Munson Damian Harris Derwin James Calvin CBS Mercedes-Benz Jackson Lindsay Scott Florida Tuscaloosa Abe NFL thirty four yards three yards
