"Just didn't get many shots and football game. Yeah. And it's kinda save for that generation in a way, I don't wanna I don't wanna beat it down too bad. But it it really is a little bit because I just they, they get saturated with so much, and it's such an instant, you know, would be internet today. You know, it's just wasn't I one thing, I never want to do is come off insensitive. Because when I when I was sixteen I knew more than everyone in the world. Eight million. But, you know, I just. I mean you, you do have to, you know. You just you just have to pick your arguments, and, and, you know, college football is sacrosanct. I mean we understand it's not just us. It it's generational. It's passed on to the next generation. That's what makes it so great. Exactly. Well, protect your show. Thank you, keep up the good work. Great to have you on your. You bet. Let's continue with more calls and Blake is in Arkansas, like. What's going on our? Hey, there now I was top of that talk about the Arkansas Arkansas football thing kind of what you have. They made. Well somewhat optimistic. But I, I think the quarterback situation is isn't really strong shape coach Morris. When we talked to him about three weeks ago was was optimistic. He's feeling hold. But I still think there are too many holes in that team to have what I consider to be a really good year. You know to me bowl game and, and making some noise, maybe upset someone like ole miss on the road early in the season would would be a really good start. Yeah. That's what I was kinda see them still. That was kind of seeing myself. I was I was kind of seeing about speak seven win being optimistic. I think six or seven would would be okay. And then and then you make the big job. But you have to if you don't get to bowl game this year. I think they're going to be a lot of really disappointed. Arkansas fans. It probably will be. But I think they should relax because he what we get some. We're getting some football players. They're finally, it's about time. I mean I, I, I don't know in, in, in by the way, a lot of us got this wrong. But I don't know when I've ever seen a bigger waste of five years, then when Bret bielema came and went. Yeah. Yeah. I agree. I agree. Yeah. Agri. Thank you. Jeff long. Yeah. Huang has gone from doing that. Did he to hiring less miles at? Kansas, more phone calls and red dog is in Georgia you're on the air. Go right ahead. Red dog. Hi you. We are great. Thank you for calling. Mind will Marty. I'm a dog fan and mardi took the words out of my mouth. I in, in Larry months since time, if someone listened to the TV announcers instead of Larry. I mean we wondered what was wrong with now. There's no way. I mean how many times did in by the way, it was always hard to sync up the radio and the TV because sometimes? But I you know, you always think about, you know, if you could do what if you could if you could have one more wish in your life. And I'm not talking about family and you know, seeing your dad, your mom your grandparents, but I mean my, my college football wish maybe to listen to Larry Munson one more time. Is that good? You know they they still play before the Georgia games. I'm sure you've probably seen. Because you, you do game day over there and everything, but they still do a little little film thing up on the Jumbotron with Larry's voice talking in the background and it's just awesome..

"Pod. A g mail dot com side deep breath. I got that right tonight. Our first question is from Chuck's numbers, extremely tough time for the Auburn family on the untimely sudden death of rod and Paula Bramlett as a lot of folks. No rod was the beloved announcer for Auburn sports and over Memorial Day, tragic car accident that, that took them from us. They leave behind two children. One is in highschool, believe their older daughter is in college. So I'm gonna get Chuck's question after right. And commend your writer Justin Ferguson on. A his extremely touching timely in motion. Connecting piece on rod in the mount Rushmore SEC radio announcers, I believe he has climbed on the summit with a great, Larry Munson, of course, Georgia Jim ward from Tennessee John phony of Alabama. And Jim fife also of Auburn to lighten the mood. Here's a question for the two of you who is on your mount Rushmore of college football play by play announcers. Great names, come to mind. And these are the four heedless Keith Jackson Gus Johnson, Ron Franklin and burn Lundquist. All right stew. I'm gonna predict one of the four names that you would definitely have on their who he does not mention went to the same alma mater. You did. And is now in Vegas in my correct? Yes. The great Brent Musburger, looking live. I mean he's called so many of the great college football moments. Over the last several decades, obviously, keep Jackson's on my Rushmore, Brent would be on there as well. I did. I did think Ron Franklin was was. Very good and his prime. I don't know that I have him on there and I think it's a little too soon to crown gusts. So let's for now say, and by the way, they're probably guys from the early I just can't speak to guys who were you know the play by play guys in the sixty seventies at cetera. So let's just say keep Jackson Brent Musburger. I'll go Verne Lundquist and then for my fourth, or you're gonna keep Ron Franklin on there. So I agree with you to Keith. Jackson is a absolute no brainer burn also for me. I like gusts but I liked you. I feel like for awhile Gus has been no more as college basketball March madness revelation kinda guy, but I think he's getting there. I mean to me he keeps on this pace specially would I think he enjoyable clatter terrific together? I think that he will end up there said other, you know, as you said. Brent? I would agree with you on Brent branches made college football games feel so big and majestic so that forth name are you are, you going run Franklin or where you going a little bit of? No, I'm not going around Franklin though. I do think he was very good in his prime this may be a little bit recently bias and also just a coincidence, because I happen to be watching an old broadcast of the. Nebraska Tennessee, Orange Bowl ninety Orange Bowl paid manning, they get crushed by Nebraska. And Sean McDonough was on the call. It's hard to believe, but Sean McDonough has been doing college football, the exception of that brief Monday night football exodus for twenty years, and he, I feel like he's got a pretty icon ick voice at this time, you think of like the Michigan drop punt snap a few years ago, his voice has been on a lot of conic moments. I got one and I, I am completely biased on this person. But in terms of voice, and big moments and making it feel memorable, I would put Joe tests on there. That's a tough one. I know we're both really good friends with him. And I do think that I mean he was he was absolutely great in college football. You know, now he's on M F. What how how long do you think he did it? Ten years. Yeah. About that. I mean but to me, Joe tests made some Friday night magic did he was very good at one of the things. That's great about college. Ball is you don't necessarily have to have a huge diehard rooting interest in it doesn't necessarily have to be one versus three..

"I will today. Shocked many of you. Because what I do for a living is opinion. An opinion show. I'm not paid to recap games. I'm not paid to do a radio type sportscenter. A paid to give you my opinions to create dialogue discussion with you. And one of the things that I've always believed, and there is a legendary broadcaster from the south and his name was Larry Munson, God rest his soul. And I came to Atlanta in the business world and was still doing radio Partai back in nineteen ninety five. Larry wants in heard me to a few shifts. And then one day I had to fill in for his co host, the legendary Jeff Van note. And if you're in the south, you know, Jeff Eno, if you're an NFL fan, you know, the name Jeff Van note, so Larry Munson did a show with Jeff Han. Nope. And so I feel in for Jeff. And the legendary Larry Munson. I mean, this guy's doing Georgia football. He's he's done Braves before and everything he he's a legend in the south. And he takes the time at the end of the shift. I said thank you very much for your time. Larry appreciate the opportunity to work with you. And he said can I give you a piece of advice? Nice said sure, and he goes you're talented kid. He said, but don't ever try to be one of them. And I said, what do you mean? And he said look don't try to be one of them. Meaning the listeners he's like be yourself at all times, be your self. And make sure that you are constantly letting people know the real you don't try to be one of them. Don't try to cower, you know, cater to the southerners and and be like us. And then about the teams and stuff he said just be yourself. He said, they'll grow to accept you. They may never love you. But they'll grow to accept you. And they can respect you. So I'm just going to tell you right now. I hate the Dallas Cowboys. And if you've listened to me for years, you know, as a Philadelphia Eagles fan growing up. I hate the Dallas Cowboys always have there's nothing. I hate worse. There is a Philadelphia magazine. When they did back in the day. They did thirty people under thirty making a difference like or movers and shakers or something in the community. I was lucky enough to get to be one of the people who they showcased thirty under thirty. Well, now, I'm in my fifties. So was a while ago. And when I did that everybody was asked the same questions on this template. You were asked like, what are your what things do you like those type of the, you know, what are you? What are you passionate about? What it? Well. Everybody was asked. What do they what do you hate? And twenty thirty. I mean twenty nine out of thirty people said, I'm too busy to hate. I don't have time for hate in my life. I don't hate anything. I'm like, okay. I'm serious. I'm looking at these morons that I'm being showcase with what I'm saying. So you don't hate cockroaches. You don't hate dirty dirty floors. When you walk into a building. You don't hate whatever it is. You hate stop lion. Stop trying to impress people in a new in a magazine article. So I told them flat out said I hate the blue star the Dallas Cowboys. It's repulse me from childhood. But today, I shock you. Because you see I can always put my, and I always challenged myself to it. I always never I never leave my objectivity at the door. Never leave my objectivity at the door. And we'll talk about my team later on tonight. But I want to talk about the Dallas Cowboys from last night. After the game even after the game. And even I'm watching some of the recaps from this morning. People are telling me on national television and everything what Dak Prescott isn't. I'm here to tell you what Dak Prescott is. Is he the best young quarterback in the game? No is he a top seven or eight quarterback in the NFL. I don't believe. So, but I'll tell you this. Dak Prescott getting the most out of his abilities. Is damn good. And last night. Dak Prescott impressed the hell out of me. Because there were so many times so many opportunities so many big plays to be made. And what did that Prescott do in so many different opportunities? He made them. If you wanna talk stats with me, and you want to get into analysis about, you know, picking apart with this young man, isn't which was happening a lot after the game. So be it. But you're going to do that with another host. You're not gonna do that with me today. Because look there are other days you can talk about what Dak Prescott isn't. I'd like to talk about what he is this morning to lead the show, and he's the guy that when his team needed the most in playoff football came through. And our colleague Tony Romo from CBS sports. Had a lot of opportunities to be big for his team in postseason games or in clutch games down the stretch and NFL seasons. And there were many many times where Tony became the punchline. And I respect a lot of what Tony accomplished. So don't tell me today. What Dak Prescott isn't tell me what he is. And last night. He was damn good. And what is Tim needed in the most he came out with big plays? And the Dallas defense was really impressive. Really really impressive. And there were many many times in that game where they made Russell Wilson and that Seahawks offense look really ordinary really ordinary. Don't tell me today. Don't don't don't be the and the show. Don't be the caller don't be the guy to tell me what somebody isn't after a big playoff win. For at least one day. Could you give the guys to f for at least one day? Could you say, you know, what I tip the cap? Dak Prescott had some lousy throws in the first half. There were two I can think of on sideline patterns where it could have been picked sixes easily. He's not perfect. He's not a top a quarterback. But guess what? When his team needed in the most. That's why they're going to be playing next week. So that's what I'll choose to focus on. Now for the Indianapolis Colts. They've got a quarterback of their own too. Guy you might hurt of before his name's Andrew luck. And if you haven't heard of them where you've been. Where you been? Andrew luck has a. A sort of an shucks sorta geeky swagger about him style. Whatever it is. But such poise such a confidence such an ability to with natural talent to not only to lead. You know, how he leads? He leads by confidence. He leads by making other players confident in him. And what I'm going to tell you is is that. There is a there's a question. I have about the Houston Texans. And it's in the DNA. And I know there's not a nother coaching search going to go on. And I respect Bill O'Brien. But that was his lame an effort and effort, and I'll say effort. From a team with home field advantage in that position. That was his lame effort that was impotent that was sheer impotence. Embarrassing pitiful. How do you do that? How is that the effort you come up with on that stage at that time? If you're a Texans fan this morning. And you're hearing about coaching searches around the NFL. You're wondering why your team is at one of them or you should be. Because something's wrong with the DNA something's wrong about that team. Because that was as bad that's as bad as you can see this as bad as you can get. They should be ashamed of themselves with that effort yesterday. Absolutely pitiful. Absolutely atrocious. But that's not to say that the colts weren't awesome because they were. The cults were fantastic. That was an incredible incredible job by the colts Frank Reich who last year was every bit pivotal in helping the Philadelphia Eagles get a Super Bowl ring. His team was so poi- so well prepared had such a marvellous game plan. Had the ability to lineup. Say that they were going to run the football and the Houston Texans, the big bad bravado. Big talk in Houston. Texans had nothing to say about it. Nothing. Couldn't do it. Lame.

"Thirty. A minute. Wait a minute. Like fifty yards at that point. There's no elegant after that. Kenyan Drake you look up at the all the place you run in that Boise play named that the Boise state what they did in that bowl game the fiesta bowl vs. Oklahoma you give past those guys you look up and you see rob gronkowski. You say yourself if that guy tackles me, I might as well put my application for the XFL because I'm never going to play in the NFL, again, those kind of things to your point. Then not only made it a drunk NFL Sunday where they got thrown out of the bar and he kept coming back in the bar. They kept getting thrown out the body kept coming back. But that's another reason those story lines on and off the field. It made it the best Sunday and NFL this year. And I love his honesty the moment I saw was him. Absolutely fantastic and the play by play. Right. You have no earthly if you're in your truck or car, whatever. And you're listening to that you have no earthly idea how it happened. I mean, nobody flu. There's still that. Drake. Scored a touchdown with time left. And there was no mention of gronkowski, right? There was no one lateral mentioned. And it was the go away. And can't happen reminds me of Larry Munson, the legendary voice the Georgia BULLDOGS. Run Lindsay run. But when Peyton Manning when he's playing quarterback at Tennessee, Georgia, Tennessee, a quarterback sneak. Right. And it's a it's a true story. Folks can't make it up. I'm not this creative. And all of a sudden manning goes for a quarterback sneak and Georgia stops him, and Larry Munson goes and manning over the top stopped. He's stuff. No now. How did he do that? Touchdown ball. Advani like top. To give stuff left in walks into the end zone, man. That was the same similar description. And that's what happened to me. Get so caught up in the moment drunk. The NFL was yesterday. When you star rob gronkowski. Touchdown. You six dude. It's over. Great. What a great Sunday. No, not really reminded me of here on Freddie and Fitz Symon ESPN radio. He's in Fitzsimmons on, Freddie. Coleman also on the ESPN app. And that's a great description a great comparison with Larry months and that day when Tennessee took on Georgia. But here their reaction reminded me a lot of this thirty yard field goal. This is ready. Ready? Hold on..

"You know, like, you know, how like the the twelfth man, I think others like the fourteenth committee about it. The fourteenth data. Makita your point think about the way, Ohio State, destroyed Wisconsin. That got them in the way, they up on Wisconsin that year that. There aren't a lot of guidelines specific guidelines. But one thing they do have in the book is you're not supposed to incentivize. I'm sure a messing that word up margin of victory. But the reality is that the test is all about margin of victory a particular conference championship weekend. So yeah, you're allowed to draw. You have a degree from yours at Tennessee. So you're allowed to get words wrong. I yeah. I wanted to make that but. By the way, macrey macrey tell them tell them by fight song. Power ranking got earned it or not. Oh, man. He got to you're asking me to get into the way back machine that was a couple of weeks ago. Tell me it was number one rocky top. It was number one. We go. I should have called you. But I didn't because I didn't think you and Ryan you'll appreciate this. Every time every time. I hear rocky out. Now, always think the glade great, dear friend, Larry Munson. The first time that the Tennessee ban would Frank that psalm up when he was in the stadium for Georgia. Tennessee gate. He would always say, oh, oh, there's that song again. No horrible awful song. And I loved it. And I loved it. Ceelo. I'm gonna give you give ACC big ten Pac twelve who wins those games. Well, I'm gonna be in Charlotte. Tomorrow your neck of the woods. And I think Clemson wins big. I love I love the fact that what he's done with pit. And the way they've hung in there this year just to get to the game as a huge step for that program. But they're not ready. Clemson's just too good across the board. And I think they win this game. Going away. I like Washington in the Pac twelve just sort of has that Chris Peterson type of feel to it. The kind of games that that he wins. And just when you just when you start to write them off like a lot of did midway part of the season. They come up and here, they earn a championship game. So I like them, and I like, oh you against was against Texas. I think there a better football team and Texas is certainly better under Herman. I don't think they can score with the Sooners. I just I just don't think I mean, I I see this game being forty eight to thirty five. Have you watched watch? So you see low they're not hold them under forty. They don't hold people under forty. We've got all trophies right? They give them a medal the hell out of that Trotter. I'm just glad they fired Mike stoops because that really fix that defense. They're worse like substantially worse than they were before. You know, there's there's a theory going around. Maybe it was Mike stoops's was hold his finger in the dance. Well, nobody's holding it in there. Now the question about that. All right. Well, Jake Trotter. I'll go to ACC big ten Pac twelve but you got. Washington Ohio State, Oklahoma, Alabama, Clemson, okay? There you go. That's all. And I tend to agree with you guys see low, I will be leaving shortly to drive down to Atlanta. But I'll drive by the stadium where they're playing ACC. You know, I'll wave at you as you're getting your gear ready for a big night. You do me a favor quick media credentials gate while you run by the state. So I don't have to get in that mess and that traffic. Yeah. No. I'm all I'm all that helping you out the, you know, people here, I'm sure there's some former rock hill somebody that's a big wheel in Charlotte. You call them. He's Schuler works. I'll call him. He'll jump rock hill football city. USA brother calls call it by its official name today. Let me ask you guys a question about Clemson. And I guess there's a pretty reasonable chance. We're going to see Clemson Alabama. Oh, that'd be part three. Do you think Clemson? And I know they gave up a lot of points to South Carolina, and I've heard Davos rant about if it's not good enough for these people, you know, winning the way they did where do you think Clemson is? I don't want to say from an emotional standpoint. They've been there..

"This product contains nicotine nicotine, addicted chemical. Let's back away from the courts. Let's back away from the bottom of the big twelve. Let's go to the top of the sea shall we and as got intended. The Georgia Florida game is once again. A beacon in another wise, dreary college football landscape. I'm just gonna pull up every bad cliche. I can't about how best game and then otherwise crappy week. We've already got frog, right? We've already gotten in frog in the same sin. It's Josh making me hosts three days in a row. It's not. It's not like it's the only matchup of ring teams. It's just that the other two matchups ranked teams don't really feel like they have any playoff impact. I think I think that's how much are saying our, I let me focus on myself here. That's how much my perspective has changed in this playoff era is that I focus so much on. Okay. Which games affect the playoff race, and if they don't, then they become second tier in my view, I wish I didn't look at it that way. But when I glance at the schedule every week, that's kind of how I view it. Okay. I will plead sorta guilty that. But before we get to Florida and Georgia, let's, you know, the other two games between ranked opponents. Number fourteen Washington state at number twenty four Stanford important game in the Pac twelve north Washington state coming off a absolute high after that win at Oregon and having go on the road, but Stanford has issues. I mean, they have clearly the offense is what was the word slog? There's no frog there, but it's definitely for them. Sarah enough. Yeah, and it is reunion weekend at Stanford. That will be a stadium that will be. Fuller than it usually is so, so that's good. But. I don't know. I. I'm not feeling that game and I would Penn State's good game number eighteen at number seventeen Penn State. And it's an important game. Surely in the big ten west. But. When that's your second best game. Maybe maybe it is just the playoff issue. I don't know whatever seal. Let's talk about Georgia, Florida. Let's talk about the positive about the good stuff. Whereas cared about Georgia, Florida. Been awhile? Well, remember it was back to back years where this Ravi really started to pick up steam again where the first year Georgia won Mark richt had his players after the first touchdown lead the sidelines dantonio zone, got a personal sportsmanlike, conduct penalty will the next year four absolutely housed them. I mean, just beat him to a drawn and was leading. Yeah. Oh nine when he was seventy eight seventy eight. I think you're right seventy eight in the next year. They're lead by thirty in the last minute of the game. Urban Meyer just happened to call two time outs or a time out to in the last minute just to sort of prolong the agony on a dog side. It's been a while to answer your question and. It really when you look at sort of what. This robbery has meant over the years and all the great memories. I mean, I'm so old that I go back to the, you know, Lindsey, Scott and Larry Munson coming through is still stale chair back in Georgia Lenzi Scott, you know, back in one thousand nine hundred eighty, but to see it now be a game that really is by large, probably going to determine. Who goes to the champ SEC championship game. You know, I think that's probably what this robbery was meant to be. And it really is almost a two week deal with east because you've got Florida Georgia this week. And remember next week Georgia goes to Kentucky. Right. I, I of series of games in the SEC that will have some major impact on on how it's decided. And there have been some meaningful Florida, Georgia games in the last ten years where you know at least one team was in the running in the SEC. Maybe some of them were both. Were there have been some upsets in this series where the the favourite was was knocked off, but I believe this is the first time since I don't remember if it was two thousand eight or whether it was before that, that both teams were were legitimately in the national championship discussion going into this game, and I realized that a whole lot of, yeah, whole lot of people are going to hear that and they're going to say, well, I mean, are they real?.

What does this Florida Georgia game mean to graduate of both sides. Okay. Sell the people down here. Wanna know the answer client. After all these years, you puff on nineteen eighty play the one lucky Mumma Georgia issue where they got the greatest moments, Georgia history. That's why we see and say, but that wasn't you go back the last twenty eight years which by the way the, you know, the record thought in Georgia last one, eight and I know it tilts pretty heavily toward Florida. Twenty one seven. So just so you know that and I'm not even that good numbers. I could be off and you know what? Spurrier's recognize against him. Yeah, yeah. So so let's dining too far over, right. Okay. Well, that's great spoken like a true Florida man, but was this game so important. Well, it's the traditional. Order war. It's a game that has produced really some surprising results. There have been upset. Obviously, there have been great coaches like bench duly obviously, who owned Florida for a long time, though rival the sprayer on the scene in nineteen eighty. When they all try to talk about play game, Jacksonville home at home, like you said, well. You know, we can do better. We played, it adds in Gainesville, and he said, why? The stadium is in Florida. At that time, it had the gator bowl name on the stadium. Say it's, it's, it's a, it's a bus ride for us in a flight from them. Why would we wanna move out Jacksonville? And so it's just become that. And of course, as as you played so well and that opening, I've only kidding about comedy was a great mom and what will never forget about Larry Munson the great Larry Munson talking about the bulldog fans come down for two weeks, four days and rent. I'm sure it was someone above my head, but that's why this game resonated with people like me who didn't really know one thing about it. Of course, and that's what I've had people come to. I had a young intern. It worked for me in Denver, and he took him ten years before you got to come and see it. And he came there with a camera crew and said, I've always wanted to see the world starts outdoor cocktail. Yeah, heard all of that is part of the social scene of college football. It doesn't mean you're endorsing cocktail party and drink tonic water doesn't mean your doors ING, alcohol. It's just a celebration of football, and that's a real reason. It's a celebration of football and the south of two schools that are obviously big, big rivals. And it has been spectacular event more times than not no doubt and notes Assad about this year because I think we expected Georgia to show up perhaps undefeated. We didn't expect Florida to show up in the top ten with only one loss. Describe to all of us who aren't swimming in those Florida shark-infested waters every day, how the Gators have gotten to this point and and and. What's the future look like under Dan Mullen?.

"Larry Munson uses non PC coach Kirby smarter to create a crap. You say they don't have a chance there the weakest team in the entire SEC. In fact, I told you they don't belong there. Your players could sleep walk through this still with I could go to a school and find a JV team and put it on the field and put them in our uniforms, and they would kick the crap out of should be relegated out of the SEC Appalachian state. They're up in the mountains. They know how to do that. Chop wood chopping wood all the time. So what is the what's the what's the spread on this game thirty one? Wow. Yeah. The way it is. Now, you tell me about this. The BULLDOGS are so good this year. But their schedule seems kind of light. It's it's improving LSU unbeaten Kentucky is now ranked they beat Mississippi State. So you've got and then you get Auburn. Okay. Auburn's the big one got to win. Now. Obviously, this is the way because I'm wondering about the way this committee that starts putting stuff together soon for the playoffs. They're gonna look at the schedule. And I think that they're thinking have to win out. To have a chance, right? They can't. They can't stumble against Auburn. Can they there's there's a lot of good strong teams out there and some teams that are stronger than people expected going into the year. So with the schedule I'm just trying to be real here. It's it seems unlikely that Georgia and Alabama will both get chance to return people were kind of upset about that last year. And you know, they don't take criticism. Well, so course bet that part seems unlikely so. The contingency is if you're not the SEC champs. How'd you get in a situation like this? So if the line is thirty one they gotta win by thirty two or more you start looking at that right expectations. How did you deliver? There are style points involved. Yeah. Absolutely. I would I would think so how about the Braves how do we how much what's the magic number to get home field out still four because they are tied with the Rockies for that second spot and the Rockies have a one game lead over the dodgers. So how it's going to have to go is the berets have to win the second spot outright. Because they will lose the tiebreaker with the Rockies and the dodgers three games left. One of them all wouldn't hurt. Let's say, but j what do they really want homefield advantage? They've played poorly at SunTrust park or most of the season. Yes, you still want him. I my prediction if they get home field advantage. I think that they will almost fill up the new stadium. Ballpark. That's good. Good Nate joking. There's ten thousand less seats. So. Actually, first round tickets are almost are sold out. I would say this about the Braves I think that we should it should just go on for the ride. None of us expected this this this is kinda cliche, but they're happy to be there and Braves fans should be happy. And I think everything after this gravy because no one expected this early. We thought it was going to be another year. Maybe two before we you know, all that youth turned into something. We obviously have a great manager now and just happiness, and this is just gravy. If his point enjoy it. There's a laundry list of Braves failures in the postseason. This ain't going to be one of them. No matter what happens even if they lose game seven of the World Series have some fun. This is just you know, just enjoy it. Do you agree with me? Jay black that sports fans. Don't have enough fun. I think there's so much misery all the time going on with sports fans. And you forget, you know, there's something called love of game. I'm here because I love the game. Maybe my team. Let me down. Kirby smart plan when you lose when you win by two touchdowns. Do you want you want non PC? He's not really interested in even in chopping would at this point. I don't think that if we lose by two touchdowns that we've accomplished our goal. We wanna win by at least. Yeah. Yeah. Enjoy enjoy. Because we're going to win. I mean, it's obvious to me coming on and saying that they gotta you know, this, and that's pretty good. It's all because remember it could always be worse. Like, you know, Tennessee, Tennessee doesn't have a shot. Right. Non PC.

"Tation from WSB sports director, Jay black. I'm happy to bless all of you. Well, thank you for being here. Thank you for the blessing. Another big BULLDOGS weekend this week, Tennessee, s the rivalry the rivalry. That's not much of a rival rivalry right now. Right. I mean just been stinking it up for a while. They have lost ten in a row in the SEC, which is the worst in program history. They have not won an SEC game since Donald Trump has become president. Wow. So that's, you know, Jared Allen motos girlfriend. Yes. Live in lover. I like to say she is a Tennessee graduate. And when the subject of the football team comes up, she loses her mind, they're not happy in Tennessee. Know, and they don't tell me about this. It seems like the team is so bad. Nobody knows where to start. Nobody knows how to fix. Yeah. It's there's there's fire sits. Yeah. There. They Jeremy Pruitt is their new coach, they they they got rid of Butch Jones, which when you don't wanna game in the SEC, you gots to go. Well, that guy's been kicking around in the last few years. But then he coached the dolphins remote. Butch jones. I feel almost did anybody go. So Jerry Pru was like their fifteenth choice. Nobody wanted anything to do with the Tennessee job, which is a little strange because the resources are there. But they've got no players. It's hard to hard to think as a coach you're going to be able to recruit players when the when the university can't even recruit coaches. So it's gonna be a long now. I would imagine that you if I could predict how this goes there will be a piece of audio of coach Kirby smart, telling us how good Tennessee is. The perception out there is some people look at Tennessee and say certain things our Tennessee. And so that's a really well coached hard-nosed fundamental football team. This is always a tough physical game. It's always discount away. It's been close for years. There's no question that they're creating identity, and you can tell the way they're committed to the run each gain. They've gone up with the number of runs. They've had. That's PC. Coach curvy smart. We have non PC coach smart and tell us the real deal, Tennessee, Tennessee, don't know how to chop wood. We're going to liberate them. They're a joke. Belong in the sun belt. I think they'd win there. We're going to push him off all rocky top. We're we're gonna make sure to put a hobnail boots straighten her head like Larry Munson uses non PC coach curvy smarter to create the crap out. You say they don't have a chance or the weakest team in the entire SEC. In fact, I told you they don't belong there. You. Your players could sleep walk through this and still with I could go to a hospital and find a JV team put it on the field and put.

"Unpacked in the months ahead but right now I still think coming out of yesterday's news conference with Nick Sabin, we bring in Jim Dunaway you. Can follow him on Twitter you can tell me what his, Twitter, handle is ninety, four five, Jackson, in Birmingham longtime CBS anchor I believe. In the city of Birmingham and what did you? Think about what Nick say we played all, the audio of. Nick, Sabin blaming the. Media first let's start. There you're in the media long with me was not vintage Sabin, to, come in and say hey you guys are to blame for this whole to it's. Low versus Jalen hurts story you guys have. Made this a story win he pulled his starter at halftime with twenty eight million people watching on television and the guy who he replaced the starter with came in and won a national Championship and. Then. He says you guys in the media have. Been turning this into a story Larry Munson one said you gave up I did too right before the great Lindsay Scott pass Nick Sabin gave last year two at halftime he made the change their. Quarterback battles that are covered in the media all over the place it's going to. Happen in Tuscaloosa he knew what he was doing we've all got PHD's all of us not even just us, that covers Abe and everyone who. Watches SEC football we have PHD's when it comes to what, Sabin, is going to, do with, the, the news conferences here it SEC media. Days and yesterday was exactly what everyone predicted he's? Gonna come in and tell you the battles, not over the. Team, is going to. Decide who's going to. End up being the quarterback and the team decided last year you, watch, the body language of first round draft pick Calvin Ridley in the opening game against. Florida state at Mercedes-Benz after the great run. By Damian Harris to start the game because like thirty four yards off tackle second play they go over the top of Derwin James Calvin really has him beat By four steps it's going to be. A touchdown Jalen throws at three yards. Out of bounds instead, of back to the numbers he does it out of bounds body. Language of Calvin real Ridley tells you. Right then all season long the other guys have better. Passer the receiving corps wants to a tongue. Of Loa and that's what it will end up being thought Sabin showed his hand a little. Bit yesterday by saying there will. Be a role for whoever doesn't. Win the job and the only way you have a different guy who's got a role is Jalen hurts to. Me what has been underrated and I haven't heard this you guys may have talked about this a lot is that Jalen hurts, is scheduled to graduate in December I mean whatever you think about his quarterback ability and it's been very good on the field the guy has done such good work in the classroom that he could graduate in two and a half years and I thought Sabin, dropping that bit of knowledge and I'm curious if you guys had discussed it before but to me that is a sign of what his pitches to Jalen hurts which is hey. Stay with me here through the fall. If, you don't win this job You can play and I think it's four. Games they may even altered that rule a little bit. About what the red shirt rule. Is he could then red shirt and when. You graduate as a graduate transfer, you're eligible immediately he'd have two years. Two full years to play anywhere that he wants and determine whether. Or not he's got a future. In the NFL the quarterback position there'd be a, lot of great coaches out there who were falling. All over themselves to bring him in he'd be one, of the biggest transfers we've ever seen now did you know. Or had you guys have been discussing the fact that he was going to graduate in December were you a little bit, surprised that saving let that. Info out it was something we talked. About right after the national championship game because everyone instantly said we'll. Jalen Hertzel, will transfer now you know but everyone was playing out but he's he'd have to. Sit out a year he'll lose that year or have to go to a junior college which we've seen happen. And you looked at all of a sudden asking..
