"That they are because A at that moment in time they are because they're more likely to spend time around congressman and the people lead our government than nine point nine percent of americans so that alone but then also the crew trajectory that they're on can put them in enormous power absolutely people in the trump administration were barely in their late twenties. That were deputy assistant secretaries that had serious influence in the federal bureaucracy. And we're moving power forward and so we are vigilant on specifically the entry valve for personnel. Dc because we recognize that. You never know. Who's going to become the next stephen miller who's advising the president every single day or or the next kellyanne conway or the next you know so. And so And so we take a systemic approach. Which is that. We're going to try to bring as many good people who share our values were tactically aligned to our careful understand. Have a mind for the sort of work that we had in mind and who are of good character to washington. Dc and that is a is a very narrow slice of the pie of elites in america. More broadly it's a humble mission again. If if i bring five hundred people to bare the next time a conservative was elected to the white house and say these are five hundred trustworthy aligned people who have a vision for what the future needs to look like. I would have done my job again. It's it's a. It's a fairly narrow mission. I'm under no illusion that we can remake all of the american league but there needs to be parallel. Nimble small projects like this in every domain of american life in order to make a meaningful ground shift. And some of it's gonna come from leadership from the top it's gonna come from people like president trump or whoever the next figure like is people who singularly command the national imagination and are capable of moving in overton windows so rapidly that the need for a new elite is is created. Where to Find a Truly Authentic Disney Beach Vacation

"We're going to be talking all about disney's beach resorts and we're talking about disney's i guess. Would we call them their real beach resorts all around the world. Not their photo. Beach resorts at their feet resort feats resorts like that fo- beach and we're talking about places like what disney's beach club resort would be there features are and just a little bit of background. I remember when we talked about the wave pool that was in the lagoon and outside of the polynesian and dick nunez the emad surfer who turned imagine near and when they first opened disneyworld he thought disneyworld had to compete with beach resorts in florida. And that no one would wanna go there because there wasn't a beach so they created beaches and they tried to do surfing. Didn't really work but then later. They added the pool at typhoon lagoon yet and of course they added the beach club resort and tom along they deign has a real sand bottom. But it still wasn't real and when we say beach resorts i guess. Let's put it this way in front beach resorts well all right. Well we'll get into that. So there are you may or may not know three count them three actual disney beach resorts not associated with any theme parks. And we've talked about one on this podcast in the past if you're planning summer vacation hopefully we're all going traveling this summer and you want to go to a beach resort and you love disney. We're gonna give you three amazing options for disney beach resorts and i'm putting them in my personal preference order. You're probably going to agree with my order. I would imagine start with number one. Most important will go first. Okay and that for me is alani lenny desire lani resort and spa in co alina. A wa who hawaii i do you say that. So he no or lena that. So co lena is the little town. This is a true beachfront resort in hawaii. In this episode we're going to focus on the beaches because we're talking about beach vacations. We will do more in depth on the resorts. We've already done one about our number two which will get to momentarily. But if you there's nothing really. That beats a hawaiian beach. What do you think jonah blank blank. So the beach call. Lena is you fly. Into on her lulu. And it's a really short drive right. We definitely rent a car. And i'll get into why that resort alani is right on the ocean in this really upscale town called co alina and it's a little bit of an interesting beach there because it it's very sheltered. They have storm break. So it's not very good for surfing but if you're one of those people that likes to think the ocean is a pool that has no currents at all. This might be for you. Yeah it's of funny. Because i learned somewhere along the way in my travel life that most of resort hotels on islands even barbados in that they build the hotels on the quiet side of the island. But we love waves right. We like big waves. So we'd always have to do. When i was surfing and barbados. You gotta go down to the super bowl's on the other side of the island but all the big resorts are on the calm side. If there is one and co lena's the whole point is sort of like that but actually there's four lagoons dan this strip of land in their man made so they did like you said they built breakwaters and they're sort of like a c shape. It's almost like a donut with a little cutout which is open to the ocean right. So there's water comes in. They are open to the ocean but yes. They're very calm. They're pretty large. I don't know. I don't even know how big they are. But they're big. It's not like people. Yeah and you can rent boats and sailboats. And a few things in there it can take a lot of people and then there's other upscale resorts at the neighbors of alani and there's four of these lagoons and you can walk along the waterfront the rest of the waterfront there sorta rocky so that's probably why was undeveloped in the past and then disney came along and somebody figured out. Hey we can make nice beaches here if we put these little lagoons. So it is a true. Hawaiian beachfront resort. You can swim in the beautiful pacific ocean. It faces the sunset which is really nice. But if you're going to hawaii and if you're going to alani in particular there are many other as ing beaches on oahu. Don't always need to go in a volcano. Guess you don't need to go. What is oh. Amelia wrote a song as a kid going to hawaii in volcano which would be the big island of hawaii not on oahu. But if you're going to oahu and you're going to alani it's a beautiful beach Franck resort will get into all the rest of it and another episode because es cell using storm along. Bay is a good waterpark. Alani puts it to shame. But we're going to save that for a future episode. Pure here for storm. Along is now an official disney waterpark. A resort it sort of water park for among resorts compared to any other pool. That is you know typically pool with a slide. It's pretty much a waterpark. There's a lazy river there. there's a beat anyway. we're not talking about disney's beach club resort. We're talking about disney's true beach resorts on the ocean. But if you go to alanine. You're in hawaii definitely rent a car because there are some amazing beaches around the island and we have three favorites. Yes when we were there and the one one is why of course the north shore's famous the banzai pipeline. Wia me a base of drive to that beach. Any of these things are an hour to ride real easy day trips to go to the beaches and then i call the surfing beach surfing. Beach is kylie loa beach. If that's how you pronounce it pronouncing these the lower something. It's just back on the way back towards honolulu about halfway. There may be and yet. It's it's a real true. Hawaiian bichon little campground part. If you wanna take surfing lessons there it's great. There's great lessons there. The waves are consistent. It's a true open. Beat quite amazing. Little kids surfing. Yeah amazing little kids. Maybe we'll post a picture of usurping on that beach as part of this social media for this episode so that that one's really close great spot to go surfing and then across on the other side of the island is kahlua which is a really cool little town right on the water and they have a really neat beach there too so chi loo beach the north shore and kellyanne lower beach. I think that's how you say it. I may be saying wrong but you'll find it. Those are three awesome beaches. Plus you do have a beach rate at your resort. A nice quiet beach like amelia said. The water's warm there. It's very calm tons of beach chairs. it's it's fairly large semi circle shape. Check it out on a google earth map and you'll see so that is out of ninety eleni hawaii and then another one we talked about. They will be disney's vero beach resort. And i don't know this might actually be my favorite beach if we're talking strictly about the beach hotel. I'd have to say personally. I prefer the air disney's vero beach resort beach than the alani beach lie because it is truly wide open to the ocean. You can't even serve there either. You can on windy days. We have seen people surfing there. You can definitely bougie board there quite a bit. But i'm going to get in just like we did with lonnie there's other beaches nearby but at vero beach resort the beach is you know you're just on the coast there on vero beach so it extends hundreds of miles but there's rarely it's rarely what i would call crowded. No sometimes in the mornings we go on beach walks and watch the sunrise and get bitten by no see'ums. We talked about that in our verbiage. Episode. this is what. I was alluding to earlier if you want to know. More about. The resort in the area listened to that episode a few back but the beach itself. We didn't really focus on and there is a beach house. there where you can rent watercraft sailboats. But you can bring your own boogie boards and you surf and you're within range of bringing a surfboard. It's your subject to the winds really. It's wind driven surf there. It's not nash. Natural surf break but the beach itself has filled with tons of shells and highlight to look for shark teeth. It's weather dependent so days. It's actually quite calm other days. It's very rough. So i liked that personally. I like those open

Kellyanne Conway Accused of Posting Topless Photo of Her 16-Year-Old Daughter on Twitter

"How a topless photo of sixteen year old conway ended up on her mom former trump adviser kellyanne conway's twitter page got more drama between these two and the dirty this morning. Lots of people saw the photo on monday night before it was very quickly deleted. So claudia took to tick tock shortly after again. This is monday and confirmed. It was indeed a legit photo the pictures for months ago. And i'm assuming that when my mom took my phone anytime she's taken it because she takes it all the time. She took a picture of that so that was on her phone And i go. She accidentally posted it or somebody hotter. But i'm shaking. I don't know of to do. My mom deserves to go to jail. Let's that's unreal so cloudy. Initially like you heard her say either cetera. Mom did it on purpose or she was hacked. There was some discrepancy there but since then now has changed her tune and is running to her. Mom's the fans This isn't forces is coming completely from me. claudia. I have faith and i know that my mother would never put something out on the internet as well as me. We would never do that. My mom and i we fight like mothers and daughters but we also love like mothers and daughters. And i do love her. I will be taking a break from social media because we are really tired of being headlines. I love my mom and she loves me.

You start out with something that might in fact seemed like the polar opposite of the pat success. Which was your lover. Phil and you went to film school. How did your family feel about you tripping the light brand tacit rather get yourself a good steady job I think that you know my mom lived in constant and still does quite. Frankly live in a constant state of panic that i was going to do nothing with my life that i would Be unhappy in some way and so she worried but very quietly so when i was a kid she was very encouraging. Wanted me to go chase my dreams and so i didn't grow up with that like pressure from my parents or anything. They wanted to see me happy. I was very passionate about film making. They could see my excitement. They wanted to see me. Pursue it So they were very encouraging about that. My dad is. I got towards graduation. Film school he sent me starting at month. Six or five hundred member exactly my senior year. It was five more months four months three more months one month at two when he was not going to be helping me financial anymore so literally the day. I graduated I had no more assistance from my family so that was actually great so from that perspective. He didn't have too many concerns Because he just believed. I would somehow figure it out. So that long story but took me through my remedial jobs phase where you know barely making ends meet but i made some I made some what ended up being quite smart decisions around managed apartment complexes and things like that really cheap rent as why was while you were in films who know right after i graduated. Put again as about weirdness right like all you went to film school you went to film school. I assuming you want to make films and managing apartments. It's a weird mix. I mean we know people go into the arts often wait tables. You managed apartments. That must've been that entrepreneurial spirit in you as well even doing that film time. it's interesting. there really wasn't and i. I am by nature. I am the world's worst entrepreneur. I don't have any real entrepreneurial Instincts in me so even the apartment managing thing was was totally an accident. It was me capitalizing. An opportunity that presented itself and that i will say i've been good in my life about winning opportunity presents itself. I take that opportunity But if that one hadn't fallen in my lap than that it's terrifying to think what the outcome would have been. So when i went to film school i thought that i would. I was showing real promise zone school. And i thought that i had natural talent for it and that shows you my mindset. I was very focused on what what comes naturally to me and so i thought it maitlis gifted filmmaker and so the first half of them school. I did very very well. And then i got selected as one of the four people to direct senior thesis film. Which is a big deal and so when it happened was like oh my god. I'm like bud shows. I'm literally one of four people chosen to direct this film. And i'm gonna make this. It's going to be amazing. i'm gonna go out. I'm gonna get a three picture. Deal from hollywood off the back of how good this film is going to be. And and my life will be. That's literally what i was thinking. And i showed up on the first day of domain with virtually no preparation and to give i wrote the script like to the minute that it was due so a couple of hours before. I jot something down which only feeds ending it gets elected which only feeds into. I'm just naturally good at this. So i roll up onset completely unprepared and i fail miserably very publicly incredibly embarrassingly and then that shakes my whole world and makes me realized that i am. I am not a talented filmmaker like that was the hard realization that i had phase at that moment.

The Women Who Revolutionized Fashion with Petra Slinkard

"Seven billion people in the world. We all have one thing in common every day. We all get dressed. Welcome to trust the history of fashion. Podcasts are we explore the who what of why we wear. We are fashion historian and your host april kellyanne and cassidy zachary will hello dressed listeners. Today we are very excited to feature an exhibition. That does something that you know. We love to do on dressed. And that is celebrating the work of bad ass ladies from their history and today. And that's right because today we are welcoming the peabody essex museum fashion and textile curator pitcher sling card to the show to discuss. The exhibition. Made it the women who've revolutionized fashion and as the museum's website says through more than one hundred works made it celebrates the stories of women who revolutionized many aspects of the fashion industry and traces how these efforts parallel history of women's global struggle for equity and opportunity exhibition is actually collaboration between pem and the kunst museum didn't hog in the netherlands and it features clothing from both of these museums collections. As well as from private and public collections and so from every designer from elizabeth keck lead to lady. Lucille gordon to madeleine to bonnie cashin and low mary. Quant and then all the way to more contemporary designers like rei kawakubo Irishman herpin gina. Kuma you do not want to miss this exhibition. It actually just opened in its on view until march twenty twenty one yes and alas we will not be able to make it to salem massachussetts in person this year especially right now so what better way to celebrate this exhibition them by being joined by his co. curator patriot. Welcome to the show. He had show welcome to dress. It's such a pleasure to have you here today thank you. I'm excited to be with you. So you are here to discuss the peabody essex. Museum latest exhibition the women who revolutionized fashion two hundred and fifty years of design as the title suggests. This is not by any means a small topic. Can you tell us about the exhibit and a little bit about the inspiration behind its creation. Sure absolutely So this exhibition actually is a partnership that we did our we're doing i should say With the consortium and then hand in the netherlands and it is an extension of a show. They put on called them. Vitol's strong women and fashion and their show then travelled to belgium and we are essentially kind of the third venue. But it's. It's an interesting collaboration because it's not an identical repaying of their show so they're installation on which was was beautiful and spanned multiple rooms in multiple galleries and our show is going to be designed a little bit differently And part of reason that we were very excited to partner with consortium is that they're so accommodating on really great partners they allowed us to borrow sixty objects from their election which was huge for us because of course the european collection Phenomenal works that represent into the big european designers for which doesn't have that much representation and but of course being in the united states. We really wanted to draw out of some additional stories that pertain to designers the twentieth century. But also american designers For whom there wasn't as much representation in their show the we've been able to augment With twenty five works from our own collection some of which are recent acquisitions and We borrowed a few pieces from the mfa in boston. We brought to pieces from the chicago history museum and then we're working with To private collectors. So there are a hundred eight mannequins in the show. It's a really big show and it does run the gamut. We say two hundred and fifty years. It's not of course the comprehensive look but it does span that timeframe and so why an exhibition dedicated to i mean. This probably goes without saying what inspired you to do. An exhibition dedicated just to women designers. Well that's a great question It actually takes me back to a time in chicago. Because i was working at the post. Your museum as the custom curators there and of course as a social history museum we were definitely thinking about a twenty twenty s. A hallmark year for the anniversary of the ratification of the nineteenth amendment. And so even then this back in two thousand seventeen By partner just kapoor. And i were already beginning to catacomb the collection and look to see what we might do in honor of women. Because of museum itself was looking to do a year of women based programming and exhibitions. My life changed. Because i. I moved tuesday when massachusetts became the vashon. Tech's curator the peabody essex museum. Is i kind of put that idea dressed. Rest until i was scrolling through instagram. One evening saw me ho. Hey who's curator at the museum post image of stack of books and i noticed all the names on the books. And they were all women designers. She said something pithy like coming soon. And you know a strong women fashion.

College? There Has Got to Be a Better Way

"Today. We're talking college. And i'm going to talk a little quieter today because well. I'm doing this early in the morning. Because i didn't get it done in time so this is one of those times it. I'm trying to adjust in. Or i can't be it's loud and obnoxious. Maybe as i usually am but today we want to explore is the option of paying for college. Now if you've listened to the company of one you know that what we do here. Is we try to help you. Look at yourself as a company a company of one because you're earning money in exchange for providing service. That's the economy that we live in and the earning money in exchange for service is the definition of business so every one of us were company. I was having a conversation yesterday with a potential client. And i was explaining to him. What you're doing is basically as a consultant inside of a large organization so you're consulting operation so when you start looking at yourself that way you start examining how you spend money you start examining the things that you are doing to move the needle i what. What is it that matters in so this issue of college comes up now transparency. If you don't know me. I t to a faculty member of electrical engineering faculty member at a major university. And i run an executive graduate program so i bring in professional people probably like yourselves and we do We help you. Move to the the needle to the next point so while i so i don't want to be in hip regret so if you're sitting here saying we're talking about college but you've got skin in the game. So yes i do. So but i do want to step back. This is the conversation. I often have inside the university with the college administrators at the people who are deans program chairs In try to understand what is it that we and i mean we as the public. What do we value. What do we want from the university. And so i'm going to take this apart from a parent's point of view from a parent. Who's about to send their children to college or the thinking through this because the the conversation that i'm often finding myself in is college. There's got to be a better way. I mean this what parents say to me and yet what are they going to do. They're going to do the same thing that all the rest of us do. They're going to just pay the bill. They're going to send kids to college. And to put this in context Many of us don't know you know we're thinking our kids can get these full tuition scholarships and things but the way colleges are working right now. Parents are basically paying seventeen thousand dollars a year. Give or take out of pocket when everything is paid for if everything isn't paid for then Well it gets worse so it can cost a lot of money even when your kids get great scholarships the colleges this money pit and it used to offer things right used to offer these great opportunities and we can argue that chosen. Will it still offers those Pub we also can look around and realized it doesn't always work for everyone so there's got to be a better way so let's just kind of dive in and think about. What are some of the things that when you go to college. What are some of the issues that we know of massive debt. Now every day in the wall street journal new york times or any other publication. Somebody is writing about the questioning college in the wall street journal just the other day. I'll try to put to link to the show notes. By the way the show notes her. Del kellyanne dot com slash two zero two episode. Two hundred two. Don't callahan dot com slash two hundred two. But every time they were talking about this in this article in the wall street journal was one of those. They're talking mostly about debt. And the article in the wall street journal had some lady that was a psychologist she had a phd gone through To get a phd in psychology making eighty ninety thousand dollars a year a great salary and but she had hundreds of thousands of dollars a debt. Her husband Had a labor job was making about the same amount in had zero debt. And

Trump Is Victorious In Florida, Picks Up The Battleground State

"Florida. Then he and Democrat Joe Biden shifted their focus early Wednesday to Nevada and Pennsylvania. Now they could prove crucial in determining who wins the White House. How late burst of votes in Wisconsin from Milwaukee gave up Biden a small lead there, But that state remains too close to call. Early polling favored a Biden wave. Across the country by former counselor to the president Kellyanne Conway again credited the president's ground game for helping closed the gap with voters. So we're pretty confident

"All right. Welcome back. It is Vegas tape sharpened Shapiro. Glad you could join us on a very busy Wednesday. Coming up here in a few minutes. We'll be joined by desert Read Francoise. She is the athletic director for you. And all the talk over talk precautions. Talk about an exciting upcoming UNLV football season. But right now joining us in studio is Jason Steinar, producer. My understanding is that there were two cat fights. We're talking about one between. Ah, well, I guess 11 between Ah Melania Trump and Stormy Daniels, the porn star and exactly what was the other cat fight? Let's start with the other cat fight first. Oh, yeah. You're talking about the Kellyanne Conway Kellyanne Conway, The teenage daughter of Ah, of what? I'm confused on names that Claudia Conway is the teenage daughter of Kelly Ann Conway. Yes, Who's an advisor to the president? Of course, And this is not the first time this has flared up in the public. But this this Claudia Conway likes to go on Tick tock. Like a lot of the kids do and he likes to publicly embarrass her mother and the latest round of embarrassment, I guess centered on Trump's Covad diagnosis and then Kellyanne Conway, I guess tested positive caresses. Her daughter went on the talk to kinda to call out her mother and then the called Trump. And to insinuate that Trump is sicker than he's letting on. And all that. And so are 15 year old daughter. Her 15 year old knows this before. Yes, Like I said, Who is this caused her mother headaches before? Well, she went live on the tic tac. And on the old time her mother, Kellyanne Conway was right there in the bedroom, and the whole thing was caught on video. Leo. And we have, like 30. Seconds of how that's his price. All that sound of you like that. You like that noise. I'm here and my mom had three time doing it right now. Do it now. Testing immediately. Um, I didn't. I guess I misinterpreted it. You guess you misinterpreted it. You guess you misinterpreted it. You said it was negative. So I spent the day with you and me. I got that. What you cause so much disruption disruption. We lied about your mother about Koven. No, Mama. How I miss redid it. You're taping me again. That's exactly right. You know, you know what that's not worst, and so by the way, also That sounds like fights. I used to hear between my mother and my sister. I mean, it's very typical, right. It's just that most people when mothers and daughters fight like that doesn't get broadcast. It doesn't get recorded. And I'm gonna tell you right now, In 2020 years, I'm going to be voting for Claudia for president of the United States. So anyway, my mother, Claudia lied, she said. Donald Trump literally is not OK. They're trying to stabilize yourself. And and she was 20 was trending on. Twitter. People were calling her an American, an American treasures of pitchers protect. She's a patriot. She actually she spoke in pig, Latin and pig and in pig Latin, she said. My mother is going to send me to child protective services, or she's going to send me away or something along those lines and and the liberals and the liberal media. Is so literally insane that they think that Claudia Conway, this 15 year old girl is actually telling them the truth about Donald Trump's health. Well, I mean, she's privy just some conversation. Listen, listen, Stein Yes, four day, by the way, Stein. If you can wear a mag a hat and be called a patriot. I think Claudia's a patriot, So she's a patriot and four By the way, it must be hell living in that house. Good. You have Kellyanne Conway. And then George conned her father Lincoln Project Who's against Donald Trump's Anyway? Its extremes like a very lovely foot. Does a footnote to that guy's real quick statement That was on Claudia's account today, said she was sorry for the uproar under Tick tack, but posts It was on her intent to mislead unclear on that she had to clarify it was she had no special insight into Trump's health. She further explained the Kellyanne Conway didn't lie about testing positive and announced she, Claudia would be taking a break from Social media while the family was in quarantine and translation. Of course I'm grounded. Let's move onto it course. Let's let's move on. Thank God for that. Thank God for that result. Okay, So let's move on to a story that I find even more. Ah. Entertaining And that is a cat fight between the first lady Melania Trump and porn star Storming out is by the way, I think they both have a lot in common. By the way, I'll get to that a little bit later. But go ahead, Stein. Yeah, well, Melania Trump you remember there's this woman Stephanie walk off. This is Melania's best friend and she recorded secret conversations with Melania. And then she wrote this Tell all book And so the tapes have been leaking out over the past week or so. There was one ah, piece of audio where Melania said eff Christmas But anyway, But this latest one she goes after stormy Daniels. Of course, who it can even say allegedly had sex with President Trump at this point is that alleged thing you could say, allegedly raw dog. You could say that as well. But I'm really not sure. So anyway. So that's exactly when the first lady back in 2018 on these recordings. Venting to her best friend, about one Porn star Stormy Daniels any legally the porn Hooker.

This is insanity Dr Phillips appeared today on. There are plenty of other examples apple's of Mr trump referring to Ukraine related conspiracy theories and asking for investigations of the Biden Family Yeah I guess it didn't change their understanding of the improper quid pro quo because they had a very accurate understanding that it was in fact an improper quid pro quo my God which brings us to the question is Kellyanne Conway doing her job well if we're job is to make sure the president is pleased with her ability to seem team to win a point here or there or to get the high hand in exchange by spewing out so many half facts that it's impossible to correct them all in the moment then I guess she's winning in his eyes for the record I think Chris Wallace did a fine job with Kellyanne she is a whirlwind of bullshit and there is no raincoat in the world that will get you or your viewers out of that unsullied and I do believe that if you add up all the coverage that good news media did quote uh-huh quote platforming conway or platforming Hogan Gidley or other members of the administration who I always hear shouldn't even be given airtime and I think it was proper to give them airtime because it seems to me that the vast majority of trump's supporters shore are impervious to facts and argument and evidence agreed but we're not here for the vast majority of trump's supporters you can still impeach a president even if he keeps the vast majority of his supporters so far all of this questioning and covering of evidence and even allowing his defenders to defend him but so poorly it has had some effect a minor effect but but an important effect trump has gone from quite unpopular to slightly more unpopular so five five thirty eight had him at fifty three disapproval forty-three percent approval on September twenty fourth okay so he was negative ten on September twenty fourth the next day is when the administration released a partial transcript the public seem not to buy its promised exonerating effects the public seem not to find that exculpatory skull Tori as was promised the next day day after September twenty fifth Nancy Pelosi announce that the house would begin quote a formal impeachment richman inquiry. This wasn't the vote from last week but it's when the speaker said that the six committees with jurisdiction would be considering the facts of this case as an impeachment inquiry there's it's been a month and more than a week since then we've seen career officials we've seen hired goons we've seen Giuliani associates being arrested yeah we've seen Al Baghdadi.

"We are with Kellyanne Conway. From the White House. We're talking about the president's immigration reform plan. It'll be announcing just a little more than a half hour from now as I was listening to you. You're, you're describing what happens to people once they get on this side of our border. They're here, presumably, we're talking about people here legally. But let let's let's pretend here for a moment. We're down the road a few months or years. We've got a serious wall. We have a serious barrier, and people really can't give in what do you expect to have people going to continue to try to come and just languish on the other side of that border, providing photo ops for people, claiming we're being mean and cruel, not letting them in. But what how we eventually going to really get a handle on the idea that if the world could Kellyanne, they would storm our borders because of, you know, we're, we're the, the shining, light of the world, the beacon of hope and freedom, where the prosperity of the world everybody in the right mind. From poverty stricken, areas wants to get here, and we can't take them all. No matter what kind of policy, we, we come up with. So where does this? Where does this eventually end as, as a benefit or a plus to the United States? And how do we keep from being overrun? Sure. Well, it should shift everyone toward legal immigration. Why not be one of the thirty three million and counting immigrants who have come here legally rush? We're still the world's most generous nation when it comes to legal immigration over since our founding practically. And the fact is that, that, that should ship it because you could still come to America, but are open borders. Has created this, this very cruel and ironic and unsustainable system where people feel like they can jump the line, and then you have to get in the line. They don't have to do the paperwork. They don't have to learn how to come here legally, they can just take the chance and come through the border and they're being lied to. That's particularly true of these women and children are being lied to they're giving over their savings. And I would say in sometimes worse, Cody who are telling them all you have to do is get there, and we'll get you in that just is not the case. Isn't part of the reason for that, that there are politicians in some case from both parties encouraging this for different reasons? There, there are. I think there are people who are encouraging our worst people looking the other way pretending that this crisis doesn't exist. And it's really rich true to watch some of the same people rush who went down to the border for photo op. You know, silly build a Blasi. Oh, how apposite that? He's number twenty three in the race. He'll probably say at twenty three he's banging on the chain link fence last year. If you remember, you know, let me, let me look at this and yet, he doesn't have a plan for it. They don't have a plan. I'm laying out President Trump's plan for which he will lay out in about a half an hour here from the rose garden. And now I'm gonna lay out the democratic plan for you. Queue, the jeopardy music doodoo. There is no plan. They just scream about DACA here and there, they scream about a separated family here, they don't have a plan. This president was willing to do a deal with them on DACA in January of two thousand eighteen he had the press pool in there at the entire time to the whole world watched the entire conversation for one hour. Speaking of immigrants pretended. They had twenty five billion for wall. That's authorize not appropriated he was willing to deal. But now that's working its way through the courts. But, but to your point about coming to this country, we want people who want to be here, legally to come to this country and to contribute to this country and to become. American. There's no question. But our immigration system is outdated. We have no idea who comes in when and for how long we wanna grow our economy for higher wages, better job, safer communities, but also to protect Americans, and we gotta get these drugs out of our country open borders means the drugs, just come into a community near you. We losing seventy two thousand Americans ear and increasingly to elicit non prescribe opiates increased increasingly to elicit drugs, like heroin cocaine and the mass coming over the border through our ports of entry. That's all because of our open borders policy. The Democrats have turned to blind I pretended care about people if they cared about people that at least take a look at this and tell us what agree with what they don't what we can do together, they care about voters. And that's what they've always cared about their exploiting this. I wish we had more time. I'm overtime now. But I really I love it every time we're able to have a tub chat here. "One takes an average of seven hundred days to process, but instead of a dressing the problem, they have to get rid of the whole silence this because it doesn't work, and frankly, we should get rid of judges this week those attacks got a rare public rebuke from a federal judge when politicians attack the courts is dangerous political in guilty of grievous overreach. You can hear the clans lawyers assailing offices of the court across the south last month. The State Department announced it would be ending foreign aid to the three Central American countries. Where most of these migrants come from and this week, Mr. Trump fired is ice director and homeland security secretary. There's only one person that's running it. You know, that is it's me the firings are just the latest departures from government. The president is molding in his own image. I'm concerned I'm concerned with growing void leadership within the firm homeland security, according to the New York Times last week, Mr. Trump urged Kevin Macalinsan now acting secretary of homeland security to close the border entirely country spoke with all eight on Tuesday. Trump's national security advisers gathered at the White House to discuss whether the military could be used to build tent city detention camps for migrants. But our military don't forget kit act like a military would act because they got a little rough. Everybody would go crazy. And joining me now is counselor to President Trump Kellyanne Conway is coming. Welcome back. Meet the press I want to start with this crisis at the southern border. In disrespect does the president see this is an immigration crisis, or as a refugee crisis where we basically are asylum system is under resource under strat, overstressed overtaxed. Do what is a Central American refugee crisis chat? I thanks for knowledge in that. It is a crisis. Not so long ago, we had members of the mainstream media and the Democratic Party denying that word. She even be used and no less a person than President Obama's homeland security director secretary excuse me, Jay Johnson has referred to as a crisis times. You can't look at the numbers and deny that we have a crisis in our view. It's both security crisis any humanitarian crisis. We have one hundred and three thousand migrants either being apres ended or unable to come across the. Order just last month alone. And the flow is so different for years. It was single males from Mexico who can be returned safely to their country of origin. Now, we have families increasingly family units from these three northern triangle, countries and unaccompanied children can you and I assure each other and everybody who's watching shea that we know what happens to those miners once they're released into this country. Congress can fix this easily all the time that they spend reacting to every single Donald Trump tweet or the president's statements. They can sit down and do three quick things. They can fix TV PRA, which basically is a track trafficking victims act where it's become a magnet for young children to be taken by the arm by an adult, and they know it's easier to come here. Number to fix floors floors is judicial decision that's holding hostage..

But it is clear. I think that this is surreal adherent behavior. So Pierrot statements led to a lot of backlash. And then all of a sudden advertisers. Boop dropping out dropping out dropping out. And so Fox News is panicking because they can't lose all of their advertisers. And so it appears that they have decided to cancel Perot's show. They're refusing to release any statements about it. But Trump feels very strongly about this and feels that Piero should definitely be given her show back and hear his tweets about it. Bring back judge Janine Pirro, the radical left Democrats working closely with their beloved partner. The fake news media is using every trick in the book to silence a majority of our country. They have all out campaigns against Fox News hosts who were doing too. Well, by the way, I wanna be clear that Trump isn't supportive of all Fox News hosts, he hates Shepard Smith, can you? Guess why? So Shepard Smith isn't doing Trump's bidding for him. He's not supportive of Donald Trump. And so he wants to get rid of ship Smith, but he loves Janine Pirro. Because gene Pierrot was very favourable and complementary to Trump. So does the same. Guy. The sense Kellyanne Conway out to say, oh, Donald Trump condemns bigotry. No, he is actually not condemn bigotry. And after the New Zealand attacks were forty nine people were murdered. He never even once condemned. The guy for attacking Muslims never brought up Muslims never talked about hatred against Muslims. When that was obviously, what was motivating factor in New Zealand now normally they do do that presidents do that the obviously the leader of New Zealand did that old other world leaders that the only world leader who didn't mention this at all was Donald Trump because he encourages an ex excited by hatred and fear towards Muslims. So in this case Janine Pirro says are Muslims early American. Can they really by constitution? And what does Arnold Trump to he jumps to her defense? So when someone murders forty-nine Muslims, he is not driven to speak out against it. He just does a general vague thing about, hey, we're with New Zealand, right? But when someone attacks Muslims he's like, yes, yes. I'm defending. I'm gonna put it back on. I love the way she attacks. Muslims. What mean bigotry guests possums, call each year would never he doesn't even say that he sends Kellyanne Conway to say that he can't stomach the idea that he would be decent Muslims..

"Slurred to the president kellyanne conway kellyanne thank you so much for coming in appreciate it okay so you just heard me mention that tweet the president talking about michael cohen saying people will flip if the government lets them out of trouble he thinks calling won't do that why is the president though talking about the notion of michael cohen flipping if the president didn't do anything wrong it's a look at everything the president has said about michael cohen and then fbi rate he's defending someone who he's worked with a known for dozen plus years danna who he thinks is being treated unfairly look at what happened this week a tale of two tales if you will you've got jim komi on the one hand going out on a big book tour after saying i don't leak i'm not sneaky i don't make any reason loose and doing all of the above again and again including in his memos more on that in a moment and then you've got michael cohen with the president believes being treated unfairly at this moment also the methods really have disturbed the president he said in the cabinet room when he first got word of the fbi raid almost two weeks ago tomorrow that he the methods were quote disgrace and that should concern everyone nobody's talking about the contents of the documents people are speculating in prevaricating particularly not under oath on tv shows but the methods show concern people i mean look at the look at the dnc server the fbi didn't bother to secure or search dnc's serve in the dnc though limited been hacked and then and here michael cohen is subject to a raid by the same word let me get back to richard question though which is at its core what does the president have to hide that he is worried that michael cohen will flip over what does he have what information does he have to give that wasn't your original question dan respectfully and that isn't what he saying in these tweets and these tweets he's saying this is a fine family man who he worked with for many years he's he thinks is being treated unfairly my my initial question was what does he have to hide if the president didn't do anything wrong my question is are you confident just trying to get at the same answer the same notion.
