"Dials for new. Thanks bye out next week. Clocked own all my god. Look branding wizards expert. Oh my gosh. Next week when we saw a watches all right any thoughts about this mini challenge. I thought it was fun. I liked playing along. It was easy to trivia. But i had fun. I screamed all the answers before my friends did so i felt like i one. I wish they do this kind of thing. I haven't seen this in a while quiz on drag race floor. They should definitely do this. I mean now there's so many seasons now when you have a plethora of information and i think that's a real like like challenge based on merit. How well do you know the show like. Are you just wanted. These queens is just want to breeze through here without really understanding what the show is about or. Did you actually do your homework. So i i love this me generation. We're getting to a point to where you know drag races been on for thirteen fourteen years at this point in so self referential in quincy look. A- queen like aquaria literally like her whole formative years were made up by washing rupaul's drag race than going on joe really young. And we're gonna say the same thing about laura's cheney in la diamond in such for the uk drag race as well so it's just an interesting dynamic to say like you know what like we always are preaching and rupaul's always preaching to know your history. But if you go on the show don't know you're yes. We also got a winter. Green aka sarge cameo which is so funny. Because did we not talk about sars last week. I'm pretty sure we talked about winter. The did yeah we did. I love that. It's like shoe the show somehow new eight months from now when these bitches talk about the show. We're going to need to be sure to throw in this kamioka. She will bring it up. View knows yeah those cute and and then of course if rune needed more reasons to not like utica not knowing alexis matteo. I bet she knew it and then in her mind it was just a brain fart at. Yeah i guess or my hope. I had a brain fart as well. Because i'm not as familiar with her theme. My got jewish. Just on office is what is her name of the name and then by the time they said it came to be so. I was struggling with her. I actually kinda got nervous because utica started referencing. Some of the things that got us afia said and so. I actually think that she thought was yarra and didn't say anything patty. She did it because that would worse. Yes all right But yeah. I loved this i would love to see it again. So bring back. The mini challenge was fun now. The vaccine challenge the main event of this episode was. Of course the branding challenge here. They're having to market a soda so they have to design the can record a commercial and come up with a little jingle at the end and this led to some pretty interesting results about. What did you think overall of the challenge. I love branding challenges. I think first of all this is the most applicable thing besides performing that queens are going to have to do after they leave drag race. There are a lot of queens who say if you're not already selling your brand while the intro videos coming out and you're already behind like that's the real drag race is is the race to sell your merchandise get yourself to an elevated platform after the show right so i love. This is a challenge because it's so applicable to what they're gonna do but also makes the queen's step back and say like okay. How am i presenting myself on the show. How do i want people to perceive. what is something that is me also shows like my comedy or what. I'm trying to put out there. So i love these kind of challenges this one in particular. I loved that they had to write a little jingle. Who doesn't like anybody converted a jingle person. Somebody sat in a board room and said kits and that worked. Okay so like manny. I'm so stoked that this is a part of this challenge. Because i thought they were all fun. Oh god i who is it. Who has a. It's jim graphic a whole bit about the hot pockets gives value robak awhile but anyway so so yes so. This is the challenge of the week. And and i completely agree. I think it makes a lot of queens. Have to focus on. What is my brand. Because that's such a hard thing to do when i think of amman. When i think of beth like what is it that i think of you know. That's what you're trying to sell bath what you're trying to get across because you want all these fans to associated you with a specific thing. Amman i is that at and i'm just a happy that this has become a staple in the drag race seasons..

"To know at the celebrities. Who don't i'm bobby finger weber and quitting the daily mail. The opposite brian. Baumgartner in his twenty twenty top earner on cameo with over one million dollars for recorded shoutouts. I thought that was a pretty delightful finding and also it makes so much sense to me. You know in a way like a total who a favourite from a very specific show watched by old and new people old and young people not new old and young people. Are you new. In a way. There are new people. Gen z sort of their new people. There new there. Now are you new here. Yes and apparently he's known for making very good cameos like he puts a lot of care to them. Because apparently it's a full time job. It's probably more fun than making a podcast like his office. Ladies you know oh you mean like compared to his former co workers exactly if the end of the year payday. Where the same would you choose to make cameos everyday random people or do a podcast once a week with your old co worker. All i would choose the podcast cast over. Let's call it five days a week just doing cameo after cami. No preparation i. I would choose the podcast. I'm sorry like still no edit in come on cameos you remember doing Cameos are rough like year or one day. We've told the story you're at the mercy of people and it's a lot of work to come up with a unique thing for every person. They're all doing the same shed happy. Congratulations i'm just saying it takes like it's tough. It takes skill to be the person who's like really excited about a cameo each time and for how many this guy did like he really has the skill him. We talked about him. We talked about delay hill. There are people who put in the work but it really is. It's hard to put in this work duly. How did not make the top list. The top list was kind of weird. Is he michael. Rapaport rappaport which is why. Why why ryan. Baumgartner make sense. And i don't even watch the office. I'm like oh. I recognize that face. I know that character. I understand why an office. Dan would want this side character as the gold standard. Michael rapaport what are you asking him to say. Like what even is like his. Does he have like a catch. Phrase is a podcast right. That's like his his thing to. I don't know what the draw is eight. I don't know and then you have Shark tanks kevin o'leary which is yeah. That guy needs more money for sure. Actor sean astin. Okay okay Nostalgic perez hilton which is also kind of weird Sonja morgan from real housewives of new york that got to me and singer debbie gibson. That's really showing the age bracket of people who are paying cameos. I know there's more to you have a cure it gilbert godfrey which makes sense to me. Who's james murray. Do you know. He's a comedian. He's one of the impractical. David and anne who t- who i think are like youtube people you to comedian types. Some website estimated how much they made. Although i feel like this is not accurate and then when of happening was i guess the soup soup man from seinfeld was on this list and then he got mad that kamioka revealed what he made and what own. I was like okay. This is just too much drama. This is too much drama because this revealing this information is clearly like pr. you know. It's like well look. How much like like the offices brian. Baumgartner is making a million dollars on cameo like look what you. Meanwhile they take twenty five percent. So i mean they're also making a million dollars more than a million and where they reveal the new york times podcast like not. It wasn't like some bachelorettes podcasts. It was a high profile new york times. Not some bachelorettes podcast. And you know what i mean. Yeah okay. let's not put podcasts. Above other podcasts. On the same shady level here do you want to move onto comments. Yeah this is. Who's there are weekly call in show where we take your questions. Comments concerns share. You don't wanna talk about the lady gaga oreo go. You don't want to discuss it anymore. I wanted to talk about the league. Oriole i didn't want to dwell on the lady gaga or we talked about it for now a month in the four. What i'm saying is i clicked on the near time story. That was headlined we asked why does oriole keep releasing new flavors. It's a story about like it's actually really interesting because it's so obvious because it's like oh because it keeps people interested and always reminds people that the oj is. The best essentially is what the story is about. And so it's like we're constantly just releasing new flavors because number one novelty cells because their trash and because they keep the demand for the regular ones whatever and to be fair to that like assessment. It's honestly true. Like if you try a new oreo flavor and you're like yum yum. It's still like the best. The best one is the. Og like yes. Maybe a little mint a maybe into a little mint but not really. But i still go back to the original. Yeah oh totally. I think this is sort of the nugget here. It says sales or not. The point novelty orioles. According to mr parnell play a much purer role to help drive consumers back to milk's alleged favorite the one hundred year old patrick familiar as the plain old or in other words. The new flavors function as advertisements. The original sales were up twelve percent for novelty flavors. Classic sales were up twenty two percent. Okay that's not the point. I clicked this. Because i was like. I wonder. if they're gonna mentioned the lady gaga orioles. How could they not listeners. They mentioned it in the lead of the story is that why orioles would be topical right now. I get that. They're like topical always are so classic. But i mean we're talking about lady gaga orioles. Because i'm like when can i get one. Oh my god. I signed up. I'm an idiot. i signed up. I sent you the thing for some reason. I signed up for the website. Wait like the lady gaga. Stan army oreo website and it says as a lady gaga x orioles stan club member. You'll be you'll be the first to find out what any news drops and i'm like. What am i even sign up for like a specific stand website for these lady gaga. Although and that is what i am signing for and you can create these oreo grams in which lady says like gimme a cookie or whatever and then like send them to friends or actually can't even send them. I had to screen. I dislike screen. Capture that and send it to. You don't have that on the back end yet. Be careful out there. Be careful out there. Let's go into comments finally okay. Science News Briefs from Around the Planet
"Hi. I'm scientific. American Assistant News. Editor Sarah Lou in Frazier and here's a short piece from July twenty twenty issue of the magazine in the section called advances dispatches from the frontiers of science, technology and medicine. The article is titled Quick Hits In it's a rundown of some non corona virus stories from around the globe. From, Turks and Caicos Islands analysis of Ano- lizards collected before and after hurricanes, Irma and Maria in twenty seventeen and eighteen months later revealed that the surviving lizards and their descendants had larger and therefore grippier Topaz. The team examined Lizard photographs from natural history collections and seventy years of hurricane data to confirm the trend. From Italy sediment samples drawn from the tree and see revealed hotspots with up to one point nine million micro plastic particles per square meter, the highest concentration ever recorded on the sea floor. Most of pollution comes from wastewater and sewage systems. Researchers say. From Antarctica, paleontologists found a fossilized forty million year old frog on Seymour. Near the tip of the peninsula, The FROG is related to modern ones living in temperate humid conditions in the Chilean Andes. From Iraq researchers probing the Turkish State Archives found the earliest known record of a meteorite causing a death. The object struck a hilltop in neighboring Iraq in eighteen, eighty, eight, killing one man and paralyzing another. From Japan results gathered from the KAMIOKA. Observatory which includes an underground detector tank filled with fifty five thousand tons of water, suggested intriguing discrepancy in how neutrinos, an anti neutrinos oscillate potentially violating symmetry between matter and antimatter. From Kenya scientists identified a malaria blocking microbe in mosquitoes on the shores of Lake Victoria. Every mosquito catalog with this apparently benign fungus was free of the disease, carrying parasite and experiments showed the fungus prevented its transmission. That was quick hits. I'm Sarah Lou Frazier.

It's like a universal white trash accent like sometimes you remember 'em. When he was in Detroit, his mother sounded like she was from like a trailer in Alabama and it's like it's it's a beautiful. It's like the official language, if trump the white trash accent, so we love it wherever it is, thank you. I appreciate that I'm glad you brought up race. Why can they say it, but we can't just don't understand. Well actually you know you. You don't have the relationship with gun that I do but in private. He has given me permission, so I can say it, but I'm not out of respect. It's called respect I'm not gonNA. Say It in front of you because you're not an African American. God well I you know you bring other word respect and I. Throw the respect back onto you, Sir President Honor Honorable Chancellor of the country thank you. Know what and this is why you may not know this, because I don't know if you listen to great podcasts a couple of weeks ago, we actually discussed I. Don't know if you noticed that I don't have much access to technology in this game. Well, we'll still we'll see what we can do, maybe we can. Sneak in sneaking Samah. What are they do? The IPODS is that. What has the the IPOD? Apple podcasts. The apple casts. You know they do the talking and what will look increasingly Cristiano?.

"He shaved off his moustache. He did. I didn't see that yes. It's just happened earlier this week. A lot of people including his wife did not love it so the mustache is gone and he has the number one album in America if projections hold up. His new album is expected to debut with between two hundred and seventy two three hundred. Twenty thousand units witch. Wait let me see if I can find really quick. Well it's hard to compare because his last album came out five years ago everything's changed but it is more accurate to him to one of his peers and Bieber is expected to do between two seventy three twenty Harry styles if I remember correctly did four hundred fifty k. Plus in America has for a week so interesting just to put that into perspective. It's good but some might consider it a disappointment when you compare Harry styles and Justin Bieber bieber whether you like Yummy or not did have a quote hit single yummy did reach number two on the billboard hot one hundred and Harry style didn't even get a single top ten another. I don't think any of the singles off the Harry album. Top Ten on the hot one hundred did the first one would be the only one I think I don't. I don't I don't think the single even at Radio. It peaked at eleven. I think it's still at eleven. I don't know if it's wet top ten yen now. That tells you anything. I don't know what kind of gauge that you know. What the more I gotta say I got. I think one of the reasons the Harry styles did so well. This new Harry styles album is so much better than the first one I keep listening to it and I love it and actually adore you. That's smash I couldn't agree with you more. I think it's so so good and it gets better the more you listen to it. Speaking of Justin Bieber he had an interview. Recently with Zane Lowe over at Apple Beats One and he broke down in tears talking about billy Bush and wanting to support her and be there for her and wanting to make sure that she doesn't go through a lot of the hardships that he went through and I love to see artists be human and be vulnerable and be real and that was a really powerful moment and also is really sweet. Billy Bush re posted that clip and just with simple caption stream changes the new Justin bieber album and then she posted some old photos of her one photo that I had never seen of her in a Justin Bieber t shirt and then another photo that I had never seen. I had seen some of her old bieber stuff she had. Even more which is when she was a big belieber big-time. Another one was a photo of her room. That said Billy's room belieber forever or something like that. I thought it was really cute. So in a fan event big Bieber also revealed. Are you laughing? What he do he also revealed that he and his wife Hayley have sex all day. Oh yes and I will just not have any more comments Speaking who are you? Nothing wrong with that. There's nothing wrong with that. I just I don't know I just probably would not have shared that but I don't mind I don't mind over sharing I don't mind. I like over sharing speaking of Billy Irish. Did you listen to that new James Bond Theme Song of hers? No I did I. I Love Billy Bush and I like a lot of the music. She has released most of it almost all of it. But this one specifically to me. It just feels like Lana del Rey rip off and not even a good one a lot of Rey. Decide in my opinion. Well you know what I always say about. Soundtrack songs their soundtracks. And if you if you think a bond movies and I watch a lot of them and you think about sort of the underwater altro it's bubbly. It's it's dark. It's mysterious weird. I think this song is GonNa to play real cool in that moment of what it's supposed to be. I don't look at it as well but I don't know if it's going to be winning. Oscar Adele one did for sky fall now. That was a really good song. Mostly soundtrack songs kind of blown. But that was a good song. I disagree actually. You know just very briefly. I got the soundtrack for the birds of prey album. The Harley Quinn. There are so many good song. That's at Gore. Whoever did that if you're listening that is a great soundtrack and especially because there's so many young artists on there like it's the future of music like at so weedy had a major bob on there with this other girl. Galactica had never even heard of. It's really good Check out that soundtrack guys are into some new music. Did you hear the new Sam Smith Song? I did as called to die for and I did not die for it. I don't like the I don't like the opening vocals because they sound auto tune and it's a little kind of scratchy and very unlike Sam. I didn't like the production of it so I'm not sure if it's the production I don't like or the song I'm not. I'm not in yet but famous last words turn around on songs. It takes me a while to get some sometimes so maybe I'll turn the corner on this but I'm with you I don't really I'm not dying for either. It's disappointing because it's the first song off of his upcoming album and he's released so many great songs recently. Although most of the songs released recently are actually uptempo songs that that have been hit that have been hits for him and this is definitely not an UPTEMPO song but he already he already let us know that the next song off the new album is an UPTEMPO song. So maybe he's just like sensing that people weren't GonNa be all about this one and whatever. Speaking of Music News. Dow revealed at her dear friends wedding. What a great way to make an announcement like this. The her new album is coming out in September. Finally we have a release date. I think like Bieber. Her last album also came out five years ago. This is how you know. I wonder well it depends on who you are. It probably wouldn't work if you're a brand new artist like if KAMIOKA waited five years in between albums. I don't know if that would have been the smartest strategy. Maybe she should have. Well she definitely should have taken a little more time because I think she released her. Follow up album twelve months later. Now a little more time would have been a good thing but maybe not five years But yeah. I'm excited for that. Even performed at her best friend's wedding a couple of hits so good arm ising. Yeah good on her in more began musicians or I just WANNA to announce when she's releasing her album still don't have a release date on that and she had previously said it was going to come out last year in twenty nineteen but she continues to spend time with a sap rocky. They've been spotted hanging out at a lot lately and even went out to dinner. Just the two of them so a lot of folks think they're dating I think they even dated in the past didn't they? I think they previously dated. And I don't know I don't know they might be back together now. She's in the studio with for Ralph. So I gotta think music is soon. Yeah at least a single. The rumor is that there's a single within a couple of weeks but rumors with Riyadh. She could pull the plug on that tomorrow. You know who knows? I hope so. We didn't get a chance to talk about this next story in our last episode. But I wanted to talk about it because I have no idea what you will say on this one. I think I think I guess so. But for for days now almost the entire week recline gate has been capturing the nation and it all sparked from this woman that was on a plane and the guy behind her did not like that. She reclined her seat and he was on the last row and couldn't recline hissy and then he started banging on her chair. And she recorded and Blah Blah Blah and then there are some people like the C. E. O. of Delta the of Delta said that you should ask before reclining your seat yes first of all if airlines didn't want you to recline your seat they shouldn't give you the option to recline them. I say very good point very good. Solid point is simple as that simple as that. Like I'm not gonNA ever. I will not ask permission to recline my fate. That's why that's why that exists. Yeah Airlines are assholes. They know we need more room. They know that if they took out two to three rows of seats everyone could fly comfortable but they give us this economy plus where they gave us the extra two to three inches. How about just give everybody two to three inches? So we're not packed in like sardines. They're money hungry. They're making plenty of money. All these airlines. They're making a hand over fist money. They're just greedy all of them. The CEO should down and he should just go ahead and give people what they want. More Goddamn legroom. It's terrible being on a flight. Drives me nuts. I don't know if all of these airlines are making a lot of money are you. Are you sure? Yeah there make dude thermal making plenty of money trust me every flight is like five hundred dollars a seat. Do the math. They're making plenty of money. I don't know what happened back in like I am going to go to Vegas in April and I was shocked that my round trip ticket to Vegas was three hundred something dollars. Yeah used to be used to be nice. Yeah they've just jacked everything up and for a while they'll say well it's fuel prices. What excuse now because those are down okay. Did the flight prices come down? No now they charge you for everything. Yeah if you bring you bring a purse. Aw now sorry going to have to charge you for that. They charge you for everything. Charge you for blankets. All of that stuff used to be free and they've just taking every sort of thrill out of flying is gone and they don't treat their customers well and you're putting it on the customers now. I gotTa Take Your plane and now going to ask the person if it's okay that I moved back three inches because you know the person in front of me is now four inches away from my face. Fuck you how about this? Move the seats up. It's all on the airlines. They're all assholes all the. Are there just dance halls. They don't care about us. We're not all of them. You know okay jetblue. Does I think they do your job? People more space. We're not cattle. A lot of people can't afford to fly but they need to get to somewhere to go see their family or they want to go on vacation once a year. Hey how about this? Make it a little nicer for everybody. But they don't care because their money grubbing assholes all the CEO's of these airlines they should all be only allowed to fly in economy so they will know what their customers are going through but they won't. They're going to be in first class or on their private jet Private jet not even flying commercial. People just suck well. Speaking of Wacky News Courtney Kardashian as we've talked about on the show is good any filming less on keeping up with the Kardashians and now according to people magazine very reputable one of the many reasons. "This is your baby. Yes, it is. All right. So how did this begin where all of a sudden you can get a celebrity to record a video for you for a price. So we had this idea that self easier. The new autographs when you see somebody famous people come up and. Don't pull out the sharpie anymore. Now, they want to take yourself. You put it on Instagram, and we're really trying to figure out a way that could help fans can with talented scale, especially if they're not there. So no matter what price you're talking about. It's still a bargain when you think of how you would do this outside of us, which is impossible. Right. Exactly. Run into someone on Michigan avenue, and then you actually have to go up to them. And then they actually say, yes. Yeah. And you think of that perfect person? It's pretty stressful experience when you see people in scale it's also stressful for the talent to write when a random fan walks up on them at a restaurant. And this is a great way that we've been able to create a new way for them to monetize their social. And it's been an incredible way for fans connect with their favorite people at scale about a month ago, a sponsor of ours. We had a meeting with a sponsor of ours. And he was talking about when he started up his business. He went to you guys and got a celebrity that he liked to to mention his business and talk about his business, and they put that video on his website. And he said people were amazed. They thought it was the greatest thing in the world. I never heard anything like that. It's genius. So that's how you guys found out. Yeah. Yeah. He said he goes, you guys should do it. And then we all had a good hearty chuckle. Up after. All right. I'm doing it. Yeah. I'll do it. I just have to say Mindy colon fifty bucks. Bad. From fire alive from facts of life. I'm natalie. Yes. Phil Lamar voice actor Pulp Fiction, fifty bucks. This is a steel actually I pond from the penny saver dollar off. Stephen Galanos is with us. I know you've been on the wintrust business launch you've been on various shows here. I have to tell you Steve Bertrand is totally guilty of this. I don't know if he's in the new studio right now, there have been people who have come up on our show, and I see him this is one way or the other places. Oh, my son loves you, could you record a little video, and I'm thinking, wow, that's brave of him. I had Colin Jost do that for one of my sons, but everybody wants that. So this is where you go to Kamioka, and what you guys have unique access to that having talent walking through the radio or the average person. There's just no way. In really taking it back to our founding story. My co-founder got a video recorded for his buddy. Brandon. Brandon was a marketing executive at Nike who loves the Seattle Seahawks. More than anything on earth. At the time. Martin was an NFL agent and to Seattle Seahawk. He got this guy to send a ten second video saying, hey, Brandon, congratulations on your son maverick. This is Cassius Marsh from the Seattle Seahawks. I heard if if he gets wrapped likability he'll be playing for the Seahawks one day. Go hawks. Put it on Instagram. And he said it was the best gift he'd ever got another so nice. And this is somebody that works with Michael Jordan. Lebron all the biggest stars. But it was that personalized message in that authenticity that really made it special with the roster of talent. Let's say all of a sudden, there's an outcry for somebody in particular. All right. Do you approach them? How exactly do you wrangle these people into being part of the roster? We have over ten thousand different talent on the platform, and basically any vertical that you could imagine sports stars TV stars movie stars. Buzzy runs the gamut. And the way that we that number one way that we find out who to get when people come to our website cameo dot com, and they type in a name that we don't have they can actually submit their Email, and let us know to let them know when we get that person than our team here in Chicago and LA we'll go and reach out to that person any way that they can to try to get them on the site. And then Email the people that have requested them to say, hey, this person that you requested his on the site. Now, who are you amazed that you have what's the name that you go? I can't believe they're part of this. Breath has been one that's been really cool, and I've gotten to know him pretty well over the last I would literally today. Monday last week. I was throwing footballs at them in Miami. Nice. It's unbelievable Javer Antonio Brown. We just signed up this week is a top five player in the NFL. I'm a sports guy. So that's always huge for me. But Bryner lacquer. I mean, so many of the people Michael Vick te'o many of the people that like I grew up, you know, particularly loving, Jeremy Roenick is another one ice hockey guy. So don't you have that you really want? But they're just not there yet. I think chance the rapper would be. Cameo. I think like Obama or Trump would be unbelievable. You could imagine how much either of them would love doing this. But literally we want everybody. All right. So we were talking earlier we watch this Michael Jackson special last night, part two is tonight on HBO. And we mentioned Cory Feldman. He is on cameo. We also we're talking about MacAulay Culkin, and actually Stephen I'm looking at up and MacAulay Culkin is not here, but I can submit my Email or tweet at MacAulay Culkin to join cameo. So it's that simple. And if he decides to see like if there's enough interest in it's worth while. Sure. And and the other just to answer your question for before how we get them. So number one will reach out to talent when people ask, and then we also have an idea people that would be good. So like, I was at NBA all star games are Charles Barkley? We've pretty high conviction that someone like Charles Barkley. You would do great on the platform. Secondly, we have a talented town referral system. So if Corey Feldman referred MacAulay Culkin, that's another way that we get talent on and then third we've started doing some strategic. Partnerships with brands like NBC universal and the MLB as a new one. Now, we're getting ready to kick off were there helping us get MacAulay culkin's should do what he's home by himself. He's got nothing. But time was they thinking. Emily's in Europe is has to do with how much they want to engage with their fans are not at the end of the day. Right. So if you're not someone that's active on social media today. It's probably not going to be a great fit for you. But that's sad. People. Bobby Hall who don't have any social at all, you know, have been on cameo in love making videos because for they love interacting with their fans. And ultimately, that's what we enable. Let's say you're a celebrity and you're on it. And you're asking prices one hundred dollars what cut of that? Do you get what kind of that they get every single talent is on the same financial split with us? Seventy five percent to the talent and twenty five percent to cameo. All right now. The one thing is if talent refers somebody else that they would get five percent of that person's bookings for one year out cameos cut. So in that case, it would be seventy five to the talent. Twenty two cameo in five percent of the refer. That's pretty cool hold. Your thought. Stephen gallons is with us co founder and CEO of cameo. You can go to cameo dot com. And find out there's someone I think you'll be very interested in, but we have to take a quick break. And then we will return and taught cameo dot com. It's Bill leff..

"Okay. Yes. The problem is that really is all you got. He's he's had in Hollywood is headlined in Las Vegas, Nevada. How many? And this is what's left is a crappy talk whittle it down to the valuable the things that matter. Hey, look is in studio. Rob Harrison, what am I pay another one? You know, I just figured out something I'm not I don't want to tell his shareholders this. But he he has not taken a vacation. In about twelve years is lovely wife. We're in palm desert for about a week when home for one day look where he's at right now. That's perfect. Packaging? I just want to know what the weather is Toronto right now is it sunny and seventy seventy but it's disproportionately warm fifty five degrees. Fifty five here is genius. Right. It doesn't get that way. Great, rob Harrison. Of course, the CEO of a company called global global gardens group. There are publicly traded under the taxable. VGA am on the on the on the Canadian Toronto venture. Correct exponential exchange creating innovative non dairy products. We've had them on the air. And they're part of our small caps for people to as we pull the covers back on what it's like to be a public company and rusty nails right there in front of him has some sumptuous veggies. And I wrote that Russ isn't isn't the product development department for vegemite on the side, and he's Buchan for chocolate brand is is that chocolate on the horizon anytime soon, very close the plan Johnson plan. Hey, who is a little in the next time? I have to tell you that my to millennials own who graduated from college this year. Both of my daughters are crazy about this stuff and all of their friends are dining know, how to get it. Well, it's easy. Now, they now they can find it. They live one of them lives in New York. Walked into a whole foods. That are funnier stuff and whole foods. Right. We're in the whole foods and the Atlantic market now up around New York City, Chicago Chicago buffalo Boston that area. Talk about on the shelf to right. Yeah. You're not looking. Section there. This product was launched specifically to be on the shelf to create a smaller carbon footprint doesn't require refrigeration until you get at home. So it's not in the chilled section at. Russet, isn't the chilly section. Yeah. So let's talk about it. Because you call it veggie milk. It comes in it comes in vanilla unsweetened. And I think on sweetened vanilla also the original original. That's what it is. Okay. So talk about exactly what it is. Okay. Well, veggie is founded on the premise that it's all vegetable based and root vegetables. So the primary ingredient is pea protein and protein is what the next one is the root Casavant, which is tapioca. That's weird. I didn't know Kamioka was was thing. I thought tapioca was like a little thing that looks like a sweet potato Rohit. Yes. A lot of time on this website. I know. Same thing that we get tapioca pudding from because I loved absolutely same thing are yellow peas the same as chickpeas. No, nope. Yeah. Okay. So the CASA gives it the. And then the final one is organic potato starch, which gives it its whiteness. So this first second here as you because I know I'm one of those guys that if it doesn't if it doesn't look like milk. It doesn't taste like drinking soy milk. I'm not getting near almond milk, cashew milk. Emmy if it looks like a duck. I will tell you this. This is in my fridge. And I use this almost almost I don't use any dairy products. They only use that. And looking I'm endorsing this. But I can also tell you you guys created something actually tastes good. Well, that was the critical thing, right? We actually we went to the consumer and had them help us work through the profile that we were looking for. So it was a little too tart a little too sweet taste like two percent. Tastes more like whole milk. You know, we went through all of that process to give them what they wanted at the end of the day and on captain crunch. I can't tell the difference. And that is the bar. On still cuts on your mouth. Okay. You works. So for you. And I'm gonna get into your background here in the next segment because there's a big surprise here. If you haven't seen rob on our show, and you haven't heard about the company there's a huge surprise in store about where he came from it before this space here. Okay is not just the space for the by health food nut. Living in a tent down by the river. This is this is actually a lifestyle choice. But it's also we're also talking about eco friendly in a possibility to save the world here because of that non refrigeration, absolutely, right. And you know, the funny thing is outside of North America. Almost one hundred percent of the business is shelf stable everywhere in Europe in England shelf stable means it doesn't have to be refrigerated. Correct. We can take temperatures of up to one hundred and forty degrees in transporta-. What's weird? I've been in Mexico and all their eggs are just sitting there. They're not in a refrigerator. They're just sitting. No, I don't want us Mexico. Thanks. One of those omelettes, send me straight to the well, that's one of the. The product we produce it here in the United States right now, it's being made. Alexandria, Minnesota just outside of Minneapolis. But our purse our first licensing deal that we've done is with partners in China. Roddick is molded into containers in Minnesota trucks to the west coast. Yeah. Ship LA San Pedro at the docks and it's heading across the Pacific. What? Now, the point here though, in my mind, is are they selling this on the on the shelves on a retail, or they're using this as a government staple because because obviously those are two different verticals. But obviously good for you either way. Or are they feeling those nice cool round tubs with them and just sitting? I'm on it. They're doing both. They're doing retail there in about two hundred fifty or two hundred major supermarket Shanghai. But they're also in the school feeding program. Well, that's what's interesting. That's one of the things too. Is that were not free. We're allergen. Specifically is said to our team, you know, when you talk about Armandville Armand is is an a product. It's a flavor if you want to look we could make. But then how do you defend your position that you're not free? And now, right, right. Right. Someplace we want to be, but the Chinese school feeding system white guy believe the American school feeding system we can track this thing to a school features, but goes into a vending machine night before and it's chilled and be right. They don't want soy because of the issues around that they can't have nuts because of allergy right, and they don't want coke and Pepsi anymore. Sure. Sure, sure, there's a huge, and you could just keep it in the machine over summer break. And then when they come back. It's ready. Because we didn't have the shelf life on this fourteen months. Fourteen months. Honestly, though. This is when you started this was that the the idea you realize global implication had because let's face it. You knew you're entering the space that probably needed something new because the almond milk place is just it's overdone and people act like they like it. Nobody really likes that stuff. It looks like that. You've watched your paintbrush that entered that for that reason global effect on this as well. What we saw in North America. From statistics was how the category was growing. This was the fastest growth category. Twelve consecutive quarters. I'm talking about double digit growth. Yeah. When the leader in the category soy milk was in double digit decline. So people were making a conscientious decision right move into the category. She go how good is entering a new product into this category. We entered the shelf stable product because it was the most financially prudent thing to do because if you went with refrigerated product like all the rest of the guys have today in North America. We would have thrown out hundreds of thousands of dollars worth of product. Okay. Because by the time it got to the store would have short code people won't riot. Right. So we have proven out the product concept proven out the flavor, we've proven out the trademark now we're going to create a business or global business because we've got the shelf stability that we can ship it anywhere in the world. But the next step is to move into the refrigerated section in your mind is a global business more important than the business in Canada or the business in the US and reason I realized that that is a goal visit where you're talking about third world the second world countries, though, I mean, just the mass amount of help they need, and basically this is not an expensive product, and your margins are are the same regardless if you're selling it to a wholesaler in Alabama or you're saying to a wholesale or a country in South America, art strategy was is to create the brand here. And then roll it out internationally. What's happening now is because people see us at trade shows where people are traveling and I see on the shelf here we want them. Yeah. We'll be announcing is there a smaller box size for the kids at school because that's odd. Hello. Rush. That's a valid point. We'll be and it will be in two thousand eighteen kids back. There. We go. We.
