"To be a acolyte of Mark Twain. His observation that no man's life, liberty and property are safe while the legislatures and session but the suspension of legislative session in DC by Nancy Pelosi Because of a alleged threat from the president's men, and she turns them that needs to be addressed straightaway. Here's what Pelosi had to say on Wednesday. Supplemental is going to take more money to protect the capital in a way that enables people to come here. Children to come and see our democracy in action, all of you to cover what happens here safely members to be comfortable that they Safe when they are here and not be concerned about What happened last time, but that that's just doesn't have a place in a democracy so that many more people can come here and do their jobs on Of all the president's men out there that we have to. We have to ensure with our security that we are Safe enough to do our job, but not impeding. I'm not live in San Francisco. Yeah, we know Well, Ricky McGinnis, the video director for the Daily Caller, Dale Colored calm. He was on site yesterday in D. C and he was looking high and low for these. Human on conspiracy theorists who are apparently represented existential threat to the republic. According to Pelosi, Here's what he found in conversations with National Guardsmen. Place Your service. Yes. See any those cute on folks around here today to spend Super quiet? Smart media than anybody else, Huh? Well, thank you guys. Stay safe Way. Super Beautiful day, right. It's always a beautiful day for martial law in D. C with leftist in charge. So that was the story that kicker to the story is the recommendation by General Honore for 1000 more Capitol police officers to protect the political ruling class. So 1000 more Capitol police officers to protect DC politicians. Meanwhile, the same D C. Politicians on the left want to defund the police for the hoi polloi out there outside the Beltway. Isn't that interesting for more on this topic? We're pleased to be joined by our old friend who's got a new title. Our old friend, of course, is Burgess Owens. He is Super Bowl champion Former NFL er. Author of Why I Stand from Freedom to the Killing Fields of Socialism, and You may Call him now the Honorable Burgess Owens. He is a congressman from Utah's fourth Burgess. Thanks for joining us Appreciate it. Thank you so much. So what about Nancy Pelosi's shutdown of Congress because of this perceived threat emanating from the Twitter sphere? If we learn our history will recognize that fear is always used by those who want to control others. All right. We leave the country that's based on faith. We always have been. We dream we take risks. I mean, with the country that provides the newest. We get up every single day and figure out that we want to achieve something. We have the fairy of the right to try and to fail. These guys are. It's an amazing process of see what's going on. And I tell you that I picked them. The upside is very simple. This we've been talking about the hard left for a long, long time. Many of us have been talking about the threat of socialism Marxism had taught in schools nowadays, don't by the way, there's a remarkable book written back in 1958 called the Naked Communist. If you want to see what's going on today, going to see the attack is happening today. That's a great, great read. But you did today re now Steve firsthand and caught with remarkable contrast. Exactly what it looks like. You're right. We have this remarkable big wall with ways of wire as if the American people are gonna come in, just climb a wall and attack the capital. Meanwhile, we have thousands of thousands every single day coming across the border. That is not protected. Cold is coming through home. The team that trafficking is coming through drugs coming through in that process. We're being a maid. Only there's so many mirrors will be hurting home, but that process and we're not addressing it. So I think this would be a good chance was to talk. Republicans and Democrats, independents, Those who love our nation, really, for the first time in a while to really talk about what reader people can do to make sure we move forward. It does not look like T O go to this process we're going through right now. But there's been put on tone towards by the Democrats who who's in charge of the federal government at present, because and I ask that question because Biden hasn't had an unscripted moment since he was inaugurated, and that I think there are legitimate questions about just exactly who is running the show in D. C. At present, we all have to understand about that. You're right Universe knew this going in the process going into the same collection period that he's just not So it's something that happens, People getting one well as we get old, but in the past, we've been able to get our elected those we left. We make sure those kind of folks that they cannot control the process or they're not elected. But I know this. They're moving so far to the left. It makes no sense The things they're doing right now there's no wisdom, no understanding that other people can't. It's against caused such a contrast that even those who voted voted for for President Biden, let me get your reaction to this. I spoke with Victor Davis Hanson yesterday and his take on this one. Bite doesn't care about the midterm. He doesn't care about control of the house and the Senate. After 2022. He is going to do everything he can and those around him who may be the implementer going to do everything they can to move as far left as quickly as they can. Executive orders like you've seen Because that's how he's going to be recorded in the annals of history. He was the most leftist they would say, progressive president he is the one who accomplished all of the dreams from my father that President Obama had. It happened in Joe Bama's third term. Joe Biden's one term and that's all he cares about. Well, I personally don't think he knows it's not that he doesn't care. He's just nothing there. What's happening? He's put paper in front of the telling what to do, and then he's just following orders. So there's there's someone making these decisions and whoever it is, is a very hard leftists. Obviously, in my mind And they're trying to get as much done as possible cause they know that within two years, they will not have the amount of power that they have right now. And I want one American people recognize what we're looking at people an ideology that cares nothing about, but by power don't care about the people who care about what's right with fair. It's all that power again. It's it's scary, one sense. But ever since I have so much faith in American people I really do as a student, American history and really world history as you are, and you've written about in terms of the threats that poisonous ideologies, socialism and communism. Pose. Even if Republicans took back the house and the Senate in 2022, you still have this whole cultural purge going on manifesting itself in so many different ways and so many different sectors, including by the way now Reparations actually being moved forward in the West and Evanston, Illinois, the home of Northwestern University in Bristol, England, an area that was once represented 250 years ago. By Edmund Burke. For goodness sakes, I wonder what you think the Greatest threat that's occurring with the cultural Persian and where people you think would be highest and best where they could put the high specialist of their time in terms of pushing back again. The biggest part of this is us waking up knowing that we have a threat. We're now seeing what can it cancel? Culture looks like and it's at some point American people gonna get Berger speaking characters. I think the greatest thing is coming out of this is recognizing that we've been attacked for a long, long time. These electors have been attacking our kids and their educational system, and that's actually what what Was that was defined way back when? When Karl Marx said that the first battleground rewriting of history, they have known that if you changed the way out here think they can change us into generationally. And so now we know that what we'll do when we come back into Ah, The power is the addressing things like what's happening on college? Just if we cannot have a system but a process by which all colleges our education process is putting out kids that I love our country to compete with you. We need to make some changes there. We need to pull back that funds..

"You on this Friday edition of the show 70 to 2575396. Is how you can wait in on the conversation tonight. Lots to talk about What happens in 24 hours when you're not here behind the microphone, Want to thank my under boss and good friend Patrick Cassell. For sitting in for me last night as I celebrated my youngest daughter's 27th birthday. Yeah, I'm that old 51. That's not old. Just saying that, you know to be funny. I look 40. That's what they tell me. No special surgeries. I haven't pulled my face back. 1000 times, at least not yet. But nice celebration last night and missed being here But Of course, Patrick always does a great job. Thanks for treating him as well as you did. But a lot has happened since I was here last and it looks like Joe Bama. Yeah, That's what I want to start calling. President Biden Joe Obama, because he's a little Barach and he's a little Biden. So let's call him Joe. Bob. A job Bama President, Jo Bama going forward there. Is that fair enough. Are you okay with that? Good. I'm glad. Well in the last 24 hours last 48 hours. We've had some significant things happen like President Biden ordering military strikes in Syria. He's bombing Syria. Why is the I guess the question of the night is. Why is President Biden bombing Syria. Now he's given some cockamamie answer when he was in Houston today. He's a tough, you know Obama. Joe Biden's A tough guy, you know, couldn't go to Texas for two weeks because the snow, but now when he's there, he acts like a tough guy. You know impunity. I mean, he's a joke. He's made us the laughingstock. Give me Jimmy Carter. Seriously. Give me Jimmy Carter to sit in 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue. More than this lunatic. I mean, I don't know what more to say more than this old cognitive impaired lunatic that is the so called commander in chief. I told you that he would get us into a war. Hell, I don't think it's gonna be this quick now, summer saying now it's not gonna be a war. Stop it! Stop it. Steve Sanchez, You didn't have a problem when President Trump, you know, went in fact and killed some of the isis leaders. Yes, but he did that. Strategically, tactically and sure is crap Didn't do it His 1st 30 days. In office. Joe Biden has had his plate full and I'm gonna break down. Why? Tonight. I'm going to expose exactly what's happening with President Biden. Why he's doing so many things so quickly. 63 executive orders that there's setting back our country into the stone Ages on gonna tell you why he's doing it. So first and foremost, he bombs Syria. Basically, the military strikes were against the infrastructure that's been used and has been used consistently used by the Iranian backed militias in Syria. So Joe Biden saying that you know he In fact, is sending a strong message to Iran. Don't mess with me. Don't mess with me and my Jared Saul is basically the message that Joe Biden says he's sending, but it's complete hypocrisy. If Donald Trump had done this, of course you would have you know every news network, every talk radio show in the country flipping out. That you know, Donald Trump is a warmonger. But the last four years of the Trump administration shows absolutely the opposite. And the history political history. The political career. Joe Biden shows that he, in fact, is a war hawk. You know what? And I know it. There's no question about it now. Iran is basically stating that you know, Joe Biden did this to help the Islamic state. Look, I'm not going to dabble in the conspiracy theories. I'm just not. You're gonna have those that support you that are saying this You're gonna have the left and you're gonna I don't believe anything that comes out of the Iranian people's mouths because they cannot be trusted. I'm sorry they cannot be trusted. They are the most significant state of sponsored terrorism in the world. So there's no way I'm gonna believe anything that Iran has to say I'm just not and I'll be quite honest with you. I am not going to believe anything that Joe Biden has to say, because Joe Biden's a known liar, this administration is a known liar, and there's a lot of reactions coming against Joe Biden. And as I told you just a few weeks ago, I said, Look, you know, the Pentagon had reported that we're not gonna withdraw out of Afghanistan anytime soon. Hell, we've been there. What? 18 19 years not withdrawing any time soon out of Afghanistan Award That has been there that has well done nothing to benefit and promote peace in the Middle East. Let's just be intellectually honest. Been the opposite my opinion. But Biden is likely to keep us there and have us continue and endless wars. That's a given that some don't believe that. Some believe that Joe Biden is that smart and that tactical Some dams were pretty pissed off the like Tim Kaine, Tim Kaine and you know he's crazy Crazy, Tim. He was the guy that was running with Hillary Clinton crazy. Tim Kaine is pissed. He's hitting Joe Biden in the administration over the Syria airstrike, calling it unnecessary and demanding congressional briefings. For once. I agree with him, Cain Adam Schiff. Pencil neck. Is stating publicly that Biden's notification off the Syria air strike was in fact in adequate This is from Adam Shift now before You basically start saying, Wow. You see, Democrats want checks and balances friends. Let me explain that this is all phony. Him. Kane's outrage and representative Adam Schiff..

"Why I A O c the flavor of the day and she is battling with Congresswoman Mace. On the exact details of her traumatic events on the sixth and the storming of her office that never really haven't she went full. Just the small A small Let I get it mixed up between them Juicy, juicy, small age. Yes, yeah. This is like more of these of these hopes is that are going on. But this is so terrible because once again you've got Alexander Cortez. She is trying to build a narrative off of something that was actually truly horrible Lives were lost. And here she is trying to capitalize on it. It's Zsigmond, but it's also very, very revealing. And the media's running cover for James T. Harris tomorrow morning representative AOC is well is represented. Jason Crowe will join CBS this morning Live to discuss dealing with trauma in the wake of capital riots will see they did the same thing with just a small that, didn't they? Yeah, interference and they had all these people and they had Oprah's friend and other folks go. You try to stand up for him, But the narrative completely fell apart. And I'm wondering if we're going to see you know, small that two point over in this situation because obviously she was not in the fray. She mischaracterized the police and they're not gonna help. You know, Keep that that lie going. So this is right before impeachment. All this stuff is falling apart. Right before they try to try the president on another lie. But victimhood is so valued now, especially by the left. Victimhood is so valued that she's she took too. Instagram for a 90 minute video to play not victim once but the victim twice and to gin up sympathy for herself. But now when Congressman Mace jumps in, corrects the story. Now She's a victim once again of somebody, not understanding her trauma, right? And and that's his best is is going to get for her. She's now on the defense of because, you know she's been called out and you're right. Victimhood is all the rage. But it's not really true Victimhood because I don't think true victims really try to play that card. It's the fake victims and try to play that card. That actually is an excellent point because I'll just use myself as example, I was in New Orleans during Katrina to run around, saying I'm a victim. That event that happened 15 years ago changed my life. It did, but I don't I deal with it like an adult like it happened. I was one of the lucky ones because I wasn't a victim. I survived it just like a OSI did. Then let's contrast that to Brian Williams, who said that he was standing like, you know, knee deep in front of the hotel during the hurricane. It turns out that he wasn't or let's compare that to Anderson Cooper, who took that shot with him like waist deep, you know, up to his chest in the water, and then when you see the wide out, you know he's standing in a little puddle in the camera man standing above him, It's all stage is all fake ary and the people who are crying out victimhood. The loudest are the fakers Jen Psaki, speaking of faking Until she makes it Jen Psaki mean girl herself, says that Dr Wolinsky from the CDC, the new director of the CDC, saying that you know you don't need to have teachers vaccinated to reopen school safely. She's walking that back herself. Jen Psaki is and saying, You know what? That was just a personal statement. It isn't exactly guidance from the CDC once again, nodding to the teachers, unions. Wink wink were with you. We're going to get you paid. You know the problem with the Biden administration, the Jo Bama. Uh, Miss Administration is there's not enough time between the light the promises that they told during the campaign and the reality that the back back backtracked on it. What's amazing to me? Is that President Trump made all of these campaign promises and then we're diligently every single day to fulfill them. And even when he was awarded, he found another way to come back on it, You know, like with Obama care and the wall here we have. Joe Bama made these promises. And now that he's in the term, not he's writing executive orders almost on a daily basis. They're still making excuses for failed campaign promises. It's amazing, and I and I do. Leave truly that the nation that especially those who voted for providing they are noticing this 100% noticing it in. The Democrats are noticing this to simply because they are arriving at the same conclusion that we are the Joe Biden is weak. So you have a bunch of Democrats out there today. Talking about wanting AOC is one of them. Bernie says another. Biden to declare a climate emergency. They want to make him do it via legislation. And you got Elizabeth Warren and a bunch of others saying that Biden needs to cancel student debt. So they're putting pressure on him from the left to to make sure he goes the progressive direction. They want him in thinking they can influence him. James T. I feels like such a fool that we sacrificed that we say that we paid for our kids. Private education. We pray pray for them to do you know for their university education, And now if we just would have been taken out loans or had them take out loans, it would have been wiped out. White privilege for you. James T. Harris. Clearly privilege Hehe white privilege. Black privilege. Privilege. Privilege, stupidity. So do we get paid back for for paying for college? Do we get paid back for paying off our student loans? Do we know this isn't that question is no, It is a matter of fact, when Nancy Pelosi was even asked about this When Joe Biden was asked about this one in a few questions that got through, Of course, there was no answer is it was the the early version of I'm gonna have to circle back on that. Yeah, keep circle back, but that's what we're seeing with the Democrats. They are circling back, and they're trying to get all of these things done so that America changes forever. We're trying to do it early on to as a strategy to try to jam pack January and February with these left wing things. He's executive orders because it's far enough away from an election. They hope the electorate doesn't hold them accountable for it. You know, I'm gonna push back on that just a little bit, Mr Hunter, because I don't believe they're They're playing the game for the 2022 or 2024. I think this is a bum rush because they absolutely learned from the Republicans how they squandered that first two years when they had the house and the Senate. They're not going to chance anything. They're going to bomb Russia through. But they also realize that unless something is done in the states to correct the errors that were made on November 3rd. They've got full car blocked for as long as they wanted. And as long as they have a powerful media and social media back in their play, there's they're going to block any type of real contender. Now this what we're watching is even more frightening because they're not on a timeline, but they're not going to waste any time. I think it's very telling what they're doing with impeachment. As well. This is this is not. I think this has stopped being about Donald Trump, because I don't think they have to worry about him least in their minds anymore because of what you just mentioned James T. Harris, But this is more a signal to the rest of the outsiders, Just like with the Robin Hood deal and the in the red. It streams and the investing its don't try to take us on. You do not try to take us on or this is going to happen to you. That's why they keep beating Donald Trump into the ground. It's a warning to those that might think to challenge Whether you're talking about the 2020 elections, whether you're talking about the whole Robin Hood Wall Street hedge fund thing. You're absolutely right. They're doing this in broad daylight right in front of your face. And you is saying you can't do anything about this. You can't stop this until we the people that I'm not just talking about Republican party's in conservatives until we the people come together across political aisles and say, You know what? You are not our rulers urine. Not our masters. Until we get creative. We're going to watch this steam roller. Just keep going. They pretty much locked up our first Amendment rights and you know they're coming for the second women rights. They're gonna go right down the list. But once they get the second Amendment rights, a revote. Well, my goodness, we're talking full blown tyranny..

"Today, Jack, gradually becoming sunny with a high in the low fifties were clear overnight with a low near freezing. It'll be sunny tomorrow with a high in the upper fifties. It is 37 degrees and DFW Airport. Texas state representative from Plano was filed legislation to protect Texans to report suspicious activity in good faith from being sued in civil courts. State representative Matt She him says in cases like the behavior of the Orlando massacre, neighbors noticed suspicious behavior. But we're too afraid to alert police W B A. P S. Clayton Devil spoke with Shane about the bill. Meet text mode in a street artist, muralist painting. If you can tell us. First of all the thought behind this bill, why he thought it was important. Teofilo. This the purpose behind it. Yeah, It's a really important piece of legislation for the state of Texas. They'll go long ways far is keeping a Texans more safe. And what it does is, it gives individuals on incentive to report suspicious activity without being concerned. About. You know, any kind of lawsuit or that they're that kind of stuff. So anybody that report suspicious activity and good safe see something suspicious? Um, you know, they put this bill would protect them. But people would still be responsible for frivolous reporting. Right, so they have malicious intent. Those types of things they can still be held liable. So what is the difference there once the thought as far as the avoiding the lawsuits have there been examples of people who have done this and been threatened with lawsuits for those that Don't understand where it's coming from. What is what is it protecting from? Yeah. So you know, there's been individuals that have seen suspicious activity but didn't report it because they're worried about lawsuits. I mean, if you go back to the Orlando nightclub shooting, neighbors have seen suspicious activities but didn't report it. Law enforcement. I mean, this is a really a key part of law enforcement nationwide, and we just don't have this type of protection in the state of Texas, where other other states like New York, Mississippi has in the department. Homeland Security has its own sees something. Say something program this motivating citizens to work with law enforcement face you suspicious activity. So again what the legislation does protects people from civil lawsuits if they report in good faith, suspicious activity, and it's really key toe. Preventing terroristic acts, Um, mass shootings, those types of things human trafficking. It's really a big plus for the state of Texas. So, for example, you know if you're not sure, but you're legitimately concerned. Then you can go forward with it and not have to worry about anything but otherwise, If you just make it up, you could still be you could still face issues. That's right. If you're reporting suspicious activity in good faith, you have a real concern about somebody's activity. You're afraid that they're going to harm themselves for harm Others you can report it without any type of concern of civil liability. If you have malicious and 10, If you're making things up, and you're still going to be you're still gonna be still reliable. Great. Perfect interview heard support for this bill so far another the session hasn't started yet. Yeah, Actually, there was a lot of discussion about it, Um, last session, and you know it just with the increase in school shootings. Of course. We had the event in Nashville. This there's this broad concern about terroristic threats. This would be a really good tool in the toolbox for law enforcement. Great, perfect Representative. Thanks for doing that. We'll get the word out. All right, You take care. Thanks. S W B A. P s played Nevil. We were gonna have a great day to day except it starts off cloudy. But I'm season some peeking through out there who will get up to the low fifties. Today it'll be freezing overnight and down to the upper fifth down up to the upper fifties on Sonny. Sunday. Right now it's 37 degrees DFW Airport. This is Rush Limbaugh all alike Joe Bama, confirming my assertion that Biden serves at the pleasure of Obama..

"For this president. Okay. He over performed his 2016 estimates with Latino voters where Joe Biden underperformed. Joe Biden around the country didn't win the two bellwether states of Florida and Ohio. Two states that no president had made it to the White House without winning in the past 100 years. OK, there are key indicators where he underachieved on a major level. But somehow got into places in Atlanta and Milwaukee. Places like Detroit, Philadelphia, where he not on Lee. Exceeded what the expectations were for his campaign or Hillary Clinton's campaign but show Biden outperformed Barack Obama in these inner cities. In the year 2020, which is insane when you think about it, given that Joe Bama's outreach to the black community is, you know during the 2012 campaign. When he said the black voters at Howard University Mitt Romney, Paul Ryan want to put you all back in chains? What in God's name is he doing? He said that with a straight face. Then, of course, this time around when he was on the breakfast club with Sharla mean friend of the program, he said. The following Do you have a problem figuring out where you're from mere trump, and you ain't black. So when you realize Biden is insulted black voters He is under performed with Latino voters. He got blown out in every key bellwether state and county. Yet somehow, historically over, performed in a couple of Democrat run cities on such a level that it swung the election. There's a lot of people When you couple that with the fact that the media has had it out for the president, the polls have had it out for the president. The deep state tried to run him off the map with the Mueller probe. There's a lot of people that it just won't square with. Because it doesn't pass the sniff test, Okay? And is a former New York City cab driver. I have conducted my fair share if sniff tests, none of which, to be honest with you and good And on that uplifting intellectual notes. Steve is in West Chester, Pennsylvania. Stevo. How are you doing? I'm good. I'm getting ready to celebrate Thanksgiving. Do I need to bootleg you some liquor because they're not letting you buy it out there. We may have to be like to let her out here in Pennsylvania. Amazing. Governor Wolf, uh, giving restaurants bars like less than 36 hours. Notice that they're cutting off liquor sales at 5 P.m. today that is ridiculous. And like this is the thing, man. There's no science that says that should happen. If anything, they're drawing bigger crowds to the store all at once to make it before the cut off, right? More than likely, but also apparently, state stores are allowed in cell. It's just specific to restaurants and bars out here. What a bunch of dirtbags you know, it's so funny, because when they say like, Oh, we're all in this together. We're not all in this together. They're not really taking people's needs in the consideration, because what they're doing the businesses in Pennsylvania in L. A. It's pretty bad man. Do you want to do? I just have the congressman from Virginia Denver. Riggleman, who owns his own distillery. Should we seriously do some untouchable stuff and meet somewhere in Jersey and I'll get you some hooch? Yeah, we might have to do that. That might be a good thing, you know? We've been listening to your daily through this at our restaurant, and hopefully we keep getting hurt during crap at our restaurant. So hopefully we keep getting support from the community and that this thing turns around and get some people some common sense in there that will help businesses out. What is the name of the restaurant Because all of our listeners ou our patronage? It's the place called on Diario sounds fancy. How would you know if we try to do some local stuff? Great pastas and excellent commitment. The local farmers out here. Oh, we love this. And you know, from listening to the show. I'm clearly getting paid and spaghetti. So this is this is doable. So if you could bump me up to like a Cappellini or something we might have something to talk about. Okay. Steven All right. We'll keep that in mind. Listen, I really appreciate you supporting the show as well. But but for real, be a friend of the show, And I'd love to come out there and have dinner with you one night and we'll catch up for real. We look forward to have that Thanksgiving. Well, if you're not in jail for buying whiskey and selling it, Okay, Good talk. You too, Steve out. There He goes. 887889910 Harry's in Cypress, Texas. And Harry, What's up, my man? Listen, this is first time I ever crawled into a show. Wow, That was when I was listening to you and tell when you say that in Oregon. They're trying to You know, uh, talent tail on each neighbor? Yeah. Why not have every Republican conservative everyone in Oregon? Flood. The police department was calls. In other words, say Look, I looked across the street. I think they have 10. They might have nine and seven just for them. So they have 1700 calls. Let him go. Check the 17. Each department has 70 100 calls they want. They wouldn't know what to do here. Here's my only problem. The my honestly, my only problem is, I think it's kind of funny. On. I don't think the cops want to enforce this. But I am concerned that it would screw up like 911 responses for people who actually need the police. And that's where I think it would be problematic, but also Harry to your point. That's why this is so dumb. I mean, think about it. If there's crimes out there being committed. Shouldn't the cops be worried about real crime and not how many people are sharing stuffing? Yeah, I know. But it's safer to go Look for the stuffing. Not not when you eat like I Dorus, sir. Failure would have a big problem chasing down stuffing. Yeah, Well, uh, Justin idea. No, I love it. I I mean, I like. Well, how does that let me ask you this question? Um, as a Texas guy, Okay, I know I I believe Wait. What's up? I just moved here from New Jersey. I'll get out of here. All right, because I did hear a little bit of an accent, Eh? So now I'm now knowing it's Jersey. I'm just assuming you're in the witness protection program, then, right, right. No, actually, actually, I married a foreigner from New Jersey on from Boston. Wow. It keeps getting deeper and deeper here, Harry, this is a Russian doll box. Now I go from Witness protection program. No, I think you're a spy. Who knew Congressman Riggleman? Are you willing to come clean on the air? Absolutely I do like talking about. Let me ask you this. You're in Texas. I still not completely sure. How should I, As one of your favorite radio host ever. Should I be betting the Dallas Cowboys tomorrow? They're given three to the Redskins. No, I'm taking Washington. Get out of here. Go with the excuse me, The Washington football team. All right, that's it. Listen, I need some direction because every one of the true taxes that's been on the show that's had this conversation with me does not. They're not sold on the Cowboys. And this'll might have been. This might have put it over the top. Now that I know I have a spy slash witness protection person on the line betting the Redskins. I'm going Washington Harry. If I lose, I'll send you the bill. Well, I love the bet football and it's nothing emotional. I never liked Alice. Anyway, I don't think they could do it tomorrow. All right, Well, listen, it's three points so as long as they do it by less than three I'll be back on the air Monday. If that doesn't work. God knows where you'll find me. But thanks for calling. It's it's an honor to be one of the first radio host to get to talk to you, Harry. Thank you very much appreciated. Thanks for taking my call. My man. You have a great day. Happy Thanksgiving. "Do they have such a sport in your home land of Mexico where they hunt people of color are actually people that are different than them. That's our thing. We don't like people who are different than us. You have look like Tom. Petty. Otherwise, we hunt you. Don't you watch. CNN. I've I've never felt hunted at all meanwhile medico. Evidently Utopia because I watch CNN and I don't hear anything negative about Mexico. There was that group of hard working. Folks that were moving toward the border through Central America and in through Mexico these are noble. Got These kids you know these are these are little girls, little girls and their mothers who are coming to the border to seek a better life eighteenth street gang members. Paid. To move and make a commotion and just. Do Media Circuit acting you're not watching CNN. Oh, this is this is a group, a proud group of people who are seeking a better life. You don't seek a better life by going across the country. Robbing stealing your way across that country and then making demands to the government to let you in or or or else give you fifty thousand dollars. You can go back home that's not how it works. I I. Don't know what you talk about. We took many of those young children we throw them in cages and then we pepper sprayed them. Okay. Okay. So what happened was look I'm not saying Donald Trump physically built the cages himself, but he may have asked the guys who are building the wall to build cages and they throw 'em in the cage and then they pepper sprayed them. Okay. So the cages are those detention centers I actually visited some of those that centers before the trump administration was no, he invented that was his idea to build the cages and put the kids in the cages. Emperor try every time somebody commits a crime in the US and they have kids with them to get separated from their kids and every time. I've seen from the Bush administration. When miners would cross border with Their parents they would be separated from them as they processed. And there was detention center. Was Bush and Then, they stopped doing it. During the Obama Administration the same thing. Well, now you're not watching CNN they stopped it for eight years and then trump got an kick the whole program again no, that's that's what year. Were you there? Two Thousand Six Well Now I gotTa do the math. Time Machine Joe Bama wasn't in charge then. Okay. All right. So they were there and then they mothball them for those eight years and then trump went over there and he did a ribbon cutting ceremony and they reopened the cages and they started ushering the kids in the cage. Every look like crab pots. Erase deadliest catch the pulling up. It was that way. That's what that's the way they did. It just packed in there and they pepper spray them when they're not sexually assaulting them the largest amount of children coming through the border was during the Obama Administration now was re. A back to back then I saw them being sometimes bust into a close to the border and then crossed a lot of these kids actually made it through the whole country. I have some horrible. Horrible stories out of them. Some of them disappearing or during their their. Their crossing Mostly. During the Obama Administration, you see why the Black Women WanNa move from Minnesota to Mexico for their safety I mean Puerto Vallarta desert resort town I mean that's not that's not a hotbed of cartel activity as far as murderers and two groups fighting while Aid Wierdo? They had to resort to leaving because they didn't want to be hunted by their own police for I. Know a little bit about being hunted and I'm actually came to this country running from some of that stuff down there. So I have no idea what's what's going through her right, but you're not a minority. We. Hunt minorities in this country. So you've got to watch the news your. Amendment I've Kinda. There's there's a little. There's a little bit of got a little bit of Tan. I do love the theme of the about Racist Society never and like we never stop, we've ratcheted up we go nuts every ten minutes. We're now. We had eight years of a black president and we're upping our racist argument about this country ten thousand fold in the last twenty minutes and. Mexico. Signing not joking, we are very race in Mexico. The whole I'm a native American proud of my heritage up here in the US is fascinating to me because in Mexico my grandfather was a native American and he wouldn't talk about it was the thing to be ashamed of down there. Yeah. Explain that explain native American as it pertains to Mexico. So if you're Brown and very ethnic in Mexico, you're in India and that's a derogatory term. Right, there's experiments done children and where some of the Brown our children. Or more on the native side they give they get a white Barbie and a brown Barbie and they asked him which one is the one and they will always grab the Brown one raise it. This one is the one and it's a systemic cultural thing that's program all of our Telenovela all the heroes are blonde all the the ladies on the on the news usually Caucasians, and we have this weird cultural fascinating would Caucasian on novellas. As heroes and stuff like that. In India they have the whole skin lightening creams world where like the dark Indians are not desirable in the light inside. That's why. We invented racism. You don't think these cultures have been around for a couple of minutes before us. Okay and we invented by the way racism and slavery. We both were the only country to engage in slavery. I do I do love that so? You growing up. So you're darker which means you have more Indian in your heritage. What we would call native American or whatever. They call. Your Brown like a derogatory term right and so people can see that on you. Yeah and they treat you differently yes. Yes. So, if you're not white skin and if you if you have green green eyes or blue is down there, you're like get a lifetime pass. So it's it's it's. Weird. People here that are hearing. This are Mexican will. Probably nodding in agreement out there. Are you how are you treated in this country of what is venue experience in terms of your nationality travel? Every weekend to a different state. was in Cleveland last weekend? And then the. Depending, on where I am, I'm treated as an exotic person which is pretty fascinating that I'm exotic to them. California was tweets me with a Oh From, Mexico, yet can I speak Spanish then like the swift did try to accommodate me which Spanish Task Calcareous Cory Booker in the remember that when he Entering right was horrible. Like has a native speaker I was like, Andrew can you please stop? Esp- expanders pandering the Spanish branding but. Have you been treated with any negativity in this country? Solely because your ethnicity and yes and it's usually from Chicanos or a Mexicans why what is their beef of the worst enemy of Mexican is another Mexican that's just a cultural thing. We don't like we don't like ourselves. That's apparently the thing but as far as. You know Americans of the Filipino Filipino Americans data. All that I've never experienced any sort of racism or any sort of. You. You can't be here. We don't like your kind here outside of few movies I've never actually exposed that well, you know it's interesting. I kind of feel the way with racism as I do with Kovic Nineteen, which is like people go. How do you deny this person their experience of that person that experience and I go I don't, and I'm not looking at FBI crime statistics or anything but I've been on this God Damn Planet for fifty six years and I've known people of all different origins and there's just not been an issue. And it's the same with the covid nineteen and that I'm not saying it doesn't exist I'm saying I don't know anyone who's been killed by it I. Know I've talked to being Baxter from Kevin and bean. You're like oh it's beautiful and then uh-huh well. Let's talk about you know another reboot. That's happening joe biden. She's trying to reboot his fucking brain because he keeps saying. I don't know look i i don't. I don't really think this is a fatal gaffe because i just think it's just telling how joe biden sees the world but last week he was in des moines iowa addressing a group group of people at a town hall and he had this bit of a slip up saying that poor kids are just as bright as white kids. Basically the other thing we should do is usually challenge alan these students. We should challenge students in these schools. They have advanced placement programs in these schools. We have this notion that somehow. If you're poor you cannot do it. Poor kids are just as bright and just as towns white kids. Wealthy kids black kids clamping but think the club is sorely on that one must have been a handler. I don't know i mean i think it was like and distract them when i i think it's funny thing is that was said at a town hall for the latino and asian coalition. Oh god so so any. I think maybe they were. I think the clapping was they were understood the point he was trying to make but he said it. It's funny you know we were saying like will will in a way he could have just been like as white kids. 'cause we know how society looks at minority kids and took the woke path but he then it was like in wealthy kids and you know what i mean. That's the issues that like i get it. Being on your feet is too. You're talking a lot and <hes> i understand additionally. There's going to be snafus there always are. I think this is so indicative like it's so <hes> enlightening on how he thinks a person that it's just something that we can't ignore although although i'm like there's an intersection here. What about poor white right i i think if he had really took the woke pad. They would have been dope because basically what you're saying. You can be yeah rich person of color and you're still good supports white person in this society and if you miss this it's joe biden's campaign. Merch looks like knockoff obama birch. It's like joe bama like it's yes we did. Yes we will let you hope is still okay. We call it a joke with as you say banishing banishing cope. That's very whoa whoa whoa yeah. I'm just like not here for joe. Biden well you know and i think his surrogates gets in like people were there defend him or like you know the the point he was making i think is clear and this isn't necessarily racist or whatever and like yeah. I'm not here to raise. He's the joe biden. He's from a fucking era where people would just outlawed. It'd be like you know. I think these colored kids. They're just as bright as white kids. That was considered a nice whoa this guy a parade to celebrate him for what he's doing for us. I hold on now because they look different. I think the brains might be the same insides sides my any of those movies that why people love to thrust into the oscar category every year all their white savior movies and there's always some white guy who's just doing the bare minimum. The these are like has a speech like in his office to like other white people that are like maybe their minds are closer. They get it on white. Reporter Alexander Panetta says US and Canadian Canadian officials are starting to consider a post NAFTA agenda with possible projects near and far space cooperation global trade reform border modernization and regulatory streamlining, Alex what are you hearing? The piece starts kind of the end, President Trump and prime minister Trudeau had a conversation that three way conference call between the Oval Office, the prime minister's office in the United States trade representative's office and from what I gather it was about fifteen minutes long and president. And Trump spoke for the vast majority of those fifteen minutes and the phone call was described to me, I could just pick your voice, right? You know, you're talking about how beautiful how excellent things are going to be now things are going to be different. Now, you know, don't worry about everything's amazing. The passes fast. Things are good. And and you see the way he's he's he's talking even publicly something people haven't really picked up on is. He's talking about how our continent is being ripped off. Also, I look at some of the behind the scenes frustrations leading up to the moment where there wasn't deal. I know you mentioned as kind of one of the items on a potential to do would be regulatory streamlining anything jump out as one of the issues. Yeah. I'll give you an example. So the for years now, the governments are I've been working on this thing called the regulatory Cooperation Council. And the idea is as follows I'll give you one specific example of how I understand it. So the different countries have different rules for bringing products to market, which is normal every country has its own sovereign right to regulate stuff, but sometimes those differences are so pain and so in significant for because big problems, right? So let's not lipstick costs something like eight hundred bucks to bring to market in the United States. In Canada it costs. I forgot what it was like, I don't know if the hundred two hundred thousand dollars, I don't I don't remember the exact number. I'll be honest, but it's a lot of money. And the reason it costs that much it's in Canada a lipstick with at. Yes. Like some sun protection squad. Pharmaceutical. Yeah. Exactly. Different stuff like this and assistant. So the question is can we find a way to remove duplication of regulations that don't really matter that are insignificant, and then you get rid of those regulations, and you just allow it make it easier for companies to sell things back and forth across the border. This thing has been of helping starts and stops over the years. Hasn't really done much for the last couple of years because there was a new government candidate administration in the US. So the idea is to have a conference this fall to try to jump start the process and get, you know, businesses reengaged with dominant Jiancai, what can we do to change regulations that are basically costing our economy money and slowing things. We're speaking with Alex Panetta from politico. He's the editor of politico pro Canada was written a piece entitled behind the scenes with Trump and Trudeau how they made nice. You referenced a couple of times to like digs in public speeches at each other across the border could that actually hamper things or is that something that's starting to tone down. Now. How do you see it? Well, okay. So here's the thing. I think the President Trump deserves a lot of credit for some of the things you got in this agreement. You got things that frankly, rock Obama would have liked, but at what cost right because what you've done is essentially he'll publicly beat up on a smaller country next door. To gain these little things. And in the meantime, the President Trump's approval rating, I've seen polls that put it as low as eleven percent, right. When you when you're eleven percent. There's not a lot you can do with another country and the country's going to be happy to do with you. Right. Like, you can't really ask for many favors. And so, you know, this compound it around the world. So these steal cars, you know, usually big stick to try to get changes. It might work it really might work. But on the other hand might also antagonize every single country in the world, and then make make them less likely to help you or do things with you going forward. So that's the protocol. Right. So the Joe bama's approach to the Trans-Pacific Partnership, for instance, using the carrot try to gently bring countries along to the US fold get some buying an agreement on this is how we should do trade. Mrs how we should deal on enterprises that we do deal with data protection. And to try to eventually get China to join that sort of international order. Trump's approach is I'm gonna put on brass knuckles and pound on you until you get what I want and the Chinese are going. Do it. It might work. I don't know. We'll talk and ten years, but it also might really caused some problems. That's great. It's Alexander Panetta at politico. It's nineteen minutes. Now after the hour.
