"As much as there's expectations on the partner men. We never feel like we. We look at porn or will it go the fuck. Am I doing it on the other to sensitize after a while you do? And that's the only bad part about it like I've really kind of cut down watching it just because it's not it doesn't feel like anything. Yeah nothing you can't feel anything it's like it's more and more and more and more. I need more and more. Yes yes and I always tell with. Someone like how much porn they watch. Based on the the amount of intimacy that we're having a lot of times they just like shut off and I'm not shaming point at all. I think porn has a beautiful place in society but there is a lot that shuts down in an intimate relationship. When that's how they're learning about trans bodies and suddenly they have a real trans body in front of them. That doesn't function like a performer. And it's like oh. They're so disappointed. Like this would be so awesome if you had no preconceived also watching. There's this woman named Gail Dines who did a Ted talk about what porn is doing to sort of younger kids which is like it used to be like when you wanted to see. Bubis when you were ten or twelve would like go. Find Your Dad's sears catalog. Or whatever the fuck. I don't even know now if a kid wants to just ten year old boy wants to see bubis goes to the Internet Google's Bubis and like choke porn comes up or fisting in like that's their introduction. They think that's what sex is you know. So it's you can't see something innocent like boobs now even if you tried right you know so. It's so extreme. The first thing that they're seeing and she was saying that Porn Stars. The girls come now in they call it porn ready like they used to have to teach porn stars. What to do now they show up. They know exactly what it was just like. This crazy thing was like there used to be like porn. Instructors would tell girls what to do and how to archer back on all the stuff in there like Oh. They don't even need to do that. My instagram lives. Check it out That's fascinating all right. So I know you have to get to Rogan. I have to pee so bad What else am I missing? Tommy Emmys do you have? I don't have any enemies I've been nominated. I don't have an actual every time I see have fucking award. No I have to peabody's okay What okay that's that's I don't actually have many trophies trophies. No just on my piano law Just in case there really having peabody I would like to just go on record. What's that union pre pie on that and then enemy pre surgery which is high no like when I saw I recently re dated someone I dated before my surgery like last month? I BECO- really well. Actually because I was like this person was attracted to me before any my surgery. So maybe they really see me for who I am and I mean we're still friends but We're just not really that compatible. But it was nice. It's nice to see people before and after the surgery is because the world change and it gets really dark when you realize how people are only relying on the exterior Ticket TO KNOW SOMEONE. We can get a really dark place if you like. I love a dark place. That's what we're this is. This is my life. Brennan Dark Place. You know the darkness of humanity be an Ugly Duckling TURN INTO A Beautiful Swan. And then you'll realize that you can never trust standing up the fuck. Are you doing your skin? She's Christ what are you doing to your skin. I do Dermot Roller Roller. It's like a little prickly thing because our products actually aren't even absorbing indoor skin because of all the dead skin cells on top. I stopped doing laser. Because it makes your skin thinner redoing the the the appeal of what it was like the. What's the dermot flash or something like that? I have no readiness anymore. I don't do Lasers anymore because it makes your skin dinner and you know that like kind of reptile shiny. Look that I had for a while that they take the hair off your face so then you just look a little too shiny Djerma roller and then I do all this other show on top of it. I got a colostrum. Placenta got all sorts of ships. Baby Dixon Estrogen every day. You take estrogen And then that kind of helps my skin out as well there. Three things that I'm having done this summer that I cannot wait for my chin fell from my surgery. I have an amazing surgeon. But sometimes these things happen. Yeah where my Chin fell. So they're going to straighten that out and then they're gonNA straighten we know. Mike lift this little bit. Lift is because this is getting a little tricky. It's really not see. I don't know if I agree with that. That's because I'm makeup to disguise. The Droop I how do we get back to surgery? That's not what you're supposed to go transit. Look so fucking gorgeous. Okay I love. You Lady Jaye nor nor to find around to. It was fun. Yeah Yeah you told me I was on with somebody. I had no idea who is really great. Yeah this is the only day you were here. We were schedules. Were fucking you squeeze me and I appreciate you sharing your time with I love you? Thank you very much..

"And so I had all of this material and I put it into a short story overnight and Senate to Jill and then I was hired to be a staff writer on transparent after a bit of training it long story short. So you're now impose Show which if you haven't seen how dare you About Ball Culture in New York. Why is that so important your community? It's the first show where every trans role has been played by trends person and Not only features one trans person but it's an entire cast of Trans folks and also it. We focus on the lives of Trans Women of Color. Which is something that we have not seen in the media accurately portrayed And it it. It's about the ball scene in the nineteen eighties. So there's a lot of Talk an education that we're doing around HIV AIDS as well And it's just a lot of fun. It's a lot of people. Don't understand that pop culture's references ballroom culture in everything that you see every pop star that you're watching. Their DANCE MOVES. That are happening. They came from Balkh culture. Frustrate you when people don't know I mean sure it's always frustrating but I I get back to a wider. Don't people know okay? They just haven't been taught. So how do I teach them right. You just so mature pink. You know to comics releasing to ball culture be discussed and very mature. You haven't recovering like when I see and like I exercise class. Someone says something from recovery. I'm like that's recovery thing. I think yours show me off. You know like like genius. It's like dude that's fucking. Aa Years Three hundred fifty cents out of the Convention Working. Everyone and spinning classes. Like oh my God genius that it makes me fucking angry. Used to make me really angry but that I realized that was holding me back. I was getting so caught up in my resentment that I wasn't actually doing anything about it my life but once I release the resentment I realized that I can do something about it and my whole career unfolded because of that or my macri expanded because at that and was able to find my voice as a writer because I was able to listen to what people needed. There's also just this thing and I'm I'm thinking about you Jim because it's like you know your stand up. I mean granted. I mean you're just one of the best I just feel like fucking on. You're just firing on all cylinders right now. Do you think that talking about this like unlocked. Another level sort of in terms of your you know being able to write as a comedian truthful. You're just frees you up because I just go on and talk about what that's all it does. The frees you up a little bit I. I don't know if it makes the writing any easier. It's just it's more easy. It's easier to be honest and not have to worry. Like how do I say this without actually saying that like you know I can just say whatever I want it opens you up second of the also life? If it's if it's a secret it's harder to dance around it and if you're talking about a truthfully it's it's much easier to plow through it. People are very responsive to again. If they know that you don't need their approval tend to stick around. Yeah that's so interesting. Yeah it's just like I feel like as a comedian. If you have secrets it's like you're gonNA Plateau. Yeah I mean sometimes the secrets will will drive you to but if you if it's something that you're really trying to avoid it's GonNa make your writing. It's literally this giant thing in the room that you're walking around and writing and it's it's difficult to do that like to talk about dating if something Is GonNa come up about dating if ties in with the person's chandler kind of have to say it It doesn't have to be all about that either. I mean that's all my dating life is and that's not all you know if you're even if you're with somebody who's trans is not just like we're out have a salad. Yeah exactly. But he's in New York where people think they're so open and stuff like that. I was with a girl and she was. She was someone who was not afraid of confrontation. Let's just say but we were holding hands walking on this phone on the side of Manhattan. And she was she and she was a group of guys like oh my hand like Which I really should probably much hotter I was like way below her fucking level. She was always a dad's just easier some like she says maybe there will be a problem. I mean there's not even everyone. Your friends came up not just out and about but I remember. We were walking up grade. She just wanted to leave the option afraid of could get. Somebody could say something like. She was aware that these people might say something and not in the street and not in a you know like she was a little bit paranoid about it too but that recently. That's probably the last two summers off I was. I think it was July fourth. Actually we were going from dinner at my House. I think but it was in the summer. So we were walking and She you know she had so many people say things to her that she was a little word. That it was gonna get weird for me. Just self-preservation yeah. Wow point yeah. People really surprised to hear these stories but they happen all the time for Trans folks a extra minority walking holding hands downtown and someone just came up to him and said hey you know that's a man like right in front of me to me as if I weren't weren't there and luckily he was so shocked that he didn't do anything about it. Otherwise I think it would have gotten violent afterwards. He certainly was so route up. And it's annoying too because it's like what's the motive of the guy doing it like. What do you think you're yelling? If you're that driven to walk over and say something you have some investment in it. Yeah you have some fucking stake in mentally if you care that much to get like out of your way out of your way or to care yeah right you know what I mean. If it's the fact that it matters to you at all do you go places like Like I always wanted to go to Dubai but then the older I get and the more I realize that whole fucking part of the world is just really shitty and transphobic and fuck them so I don't WanNa go illegal illegal to go even if it says a female on your George. Td Gorgeous was just turned away Was it for that? Reason is she. Okay being trans. So what countries is it all of the emerets? I'm guessing I actually don't know what what countries I just not by I know in Iran. They will pay for your entire transition. The government pays for your transition really because of insurance or legal to be gay so there have been people who transition not because they're trans. There's a documentary about a couple years ago. What's it called? We don't have wi fi. Today are Wi fi is down but we are going to hope. I'm not making this up. No fever dream my head. I think my transis was actually lot easier for my family than my queasiness. I identified as Queer. My sexuality was queer. I because the church had already had years and years and years of hate build up against Queer folks so they were able to identify that as something that would take down the village. I always see that if someone is being hated a community. It's because people are afraid that that person is going to be a danger to the community. That's my compassionate Lens and so there was this idea that they already knew that that was a sin and so they They had the language to speak out against that. But the transit took everyone by surprise and then once I started having more Conforming Binary Feminine Look. It became a bit easier for them because there was nothing. The Church didn't have anything to say about Trans at that time. Now they do right up. There hate caught up while my family. Not My family my family accepting but the church in general and then so could you just for people listening that are younger. That are sort of trying to figure out what's going on. What was your journey like just in terms of. Oh this is what I am. A weak note. This is what I and then this is what I am. I know I've heard you talk about seeing ru at a young age. And Oh yeah I saw Rupaul in the nineteen ninety four when supermodel came out and my cousin called me was like girl. You've got to come over to me moth if we didn't have MTV at our place on the farm so went over to the malls. And I waited by the television for that music. Video came on. And she's like man that used to be a man and I was fascinated. I thought Rupaul was trans. I didn't know what Rupa was. It just gave me enough permission It gave me enough space to play a little bit with gender. In in my young mind I was able to realize that okay. There are more possibilities out there than the ones I've been given and so just to your point about you know Some it's being a mirror just like the more you can see the more you can start figure out what's going on your show yourself reflected. Yeah Can you and unless this makes you uncomfortable? And you don't want to like what are some things that the average person just should not say to a trans person would just don't start talking about gender out of no. I really exhausting. Just meet Trans. People think of. He'll talk about people exactly Just just don't bring it up really think about it a lot. We've done a lot of work on it. I'm just assume that we've done a lot of work. Also just assume that we're smarter than you. That's really helpful. Because if you know if I look this damn good figured something out And just know that. Maybe I've done a little bit more work on gender than than maybe you have. Yeah so You don't really WanNa get brownie points. They want to check that ego. Bob Today want to be like. Hey I watch posts CNN I write it. I know I mean it's nice to hear things and it's nice to hear people come come along and for people to say. Oh I didn't know this and now I understand a little bit better. Of course that's encouraging Just a human being about things right. I don't know yes I think so but I think that I'm so many people Are like actually kind of eager to really get it right and in so doing. They're sort of exhausting the very people that they're trying to respect. So what's your opponent telling me everything I need you to tutor me for twenty minutes because I'm so progressive or watch four seasons of transparent and everything I want to say about gender I put onto those shows..

"Who's like trying to catch someone fucking up you know? I think a lot of people have this idea that becomes narcissistic self loathing. Where it's like people are going to come from me. If I get something wrong now. Everyone has better things to do. You know we're all just like shooting the best but there are times people like to come for you to be honest. If you fuck up people do enjoy the pylon. Yes yes well that is true. Especially if you're a public figure they love it and even if they no you didn't mean it it doesn't matter. I mean when the villages were burning somebody sometimes. It's kind of fun to watch the person you burn. You don't want to step in. I hate that about myself. You see there is some kind of primordial reptile brain of when someone fucks up and you're just like you know glomming on there's some sort of like when we were in tribes that was a shaming amass shaming. Everybody learned what the rules were refreshing twitter to watch them climb in the trend number one number one darker part of our fucking nature get them. It's ugly we don't acknowledge it either. That's the funny part. It's like we just kind of we all well you know. There's those cancer culture but we can't culture exist because we all enjoy watching people can't it's true. It's not just the people doing the canceling. It's all the other people just kind of standing around gone. It's terrible and then when when you drive by a car accident you're like I hope I a dead person on and you're like primal brain and then when no one's dead you're like Palmer disappointed. If you don't see some real carnage the little that keep life exciting. You know all right so I don't really know where to start. We're just GONNA start so you and I met where were you. I actually have no idea. Transit might transition spokesman said trying to make money. A lot of people might not understand. I'm just GonNa Start here is that oftentimes people don't have can't afford to. Yeah no I couldn't afford anything. I was living in New York so I started my physical transition around two thousand five. Two thousand six I'm not as young as I look and back then I was in my late twenties I couldn't afford anything. I was this weird little singer. Songwriter pianist in New York City. And so I- held a concert called Boo Baid and all these amazing artists in New York came together to help me get my boobs and Dolly. Parton was one of them who contributed some things that we auctioned off so and by they go on Youtube and look her up singing Dolly Parton. We'll fix your life. Oh thank you. I Love Dali so named this one. Joe Lean actually introduce stalls and without even blinking or will take your mass got new begging for these bills as they will. She introduced me to her boobs named shock and awe. She has a George W Bush. Joke era era joke about her tattoos all over that she doesn't show yeah. She just started talking about them actually. That's why she wears the gloves. No I think the tattoos are to cover scars she said. Oh Wow just when you can't love Dolly Parton more. She says some shit like that so the community came together to help me get my because a lot of people don't understand like to transition costs a lot of money. Yes we'll get into that necess- some insurance is covering but most insurances don't cover A lot of insurances are starting to cover bottom surgery because a lot of people that means six gender you are gender. You were Assistant A lot of people assume that you know when you're transitioning you just want to give a China and that's all you want yeah But you know I don't know how you feel if you just had a vagina but the rest of you appeared male right right not really complete a lot of people so I started with with my top surgery and then And then I put a pin and everything and just focused on my career. Because I realized that if I were to afford anything else I actually had to have some money. Not only that it's time consuming. The surgeries the healing. The you know it's really a full-time job. Yeah where were you when I needed my ice packs? Not all girls want bottom surgery either now. Absolute THAT'S NOT. All girls want Everything done now. I have not had bottom surgery. I've rarely talk about that. Except when I did talk about my penis in the New York Times once it is not something that I want right now. It's not something I had some health issues. Come up where I couldn't actually have the surgery and So I made peace with you know having I don't I don't even my ex boyfriend. You know my ex caught it machine or my lady stick so I was perfectly happy with having a lady stick and I made peace with it and I actually love my lady stick and they loved that. That's part of me. And that's part of my transitioned I it doesn't make me any less. A part of the female tribe yes But said the bottom surgery is not the ultimate goal for everyone but I also think that's. That's something that I think a lot of people's brains explode because they're like okay. I'm I'm getting to know this transportation. Their journey wait. You're gonNa tell me other people do it other ways. I thought they all do the same. There's there's differences within people that transition. Okay now I'm really lost. I feel we're caught up on a bad society. That's not where it was five. Ten years ago transitions can go different ways. They can go more families. Fem. Non Binary folks in the spectrum as well just becoming aware that now so we'll see they don't always have to look the way you have the picture in your head of what you should look like that's like you know such an important There's different transitioning within the community and in terms of the surgeries in the cost. Like I just think it's so important that people understand like this is. This is not a for people that really. Don't get it. This isn't just like a willy. Nilly this is no. I've spent probably a hundred thousand dollars in surgeries in the last five years alone. Since we've known each other a lot of them should have been covered by health health insurance. I mean some of them were cosmetic for sure I'll own up to that But most of them were just undoing the effects of testosterone during puberty so like taking away the bone Is is the main thing that testosterone produces when you go through Forehead bonus for people to the spoon this bone this. Yeah this right you know. You can't take away my height right. It's going to have that done but really expensive. Very painful and And what how do you decide the order in which you're GONNA do them? Just whatever you're comfortable with. I was really tired of being called out for being visibly Trans in public. So my face men a lot to me because that's the thing people see and it worked. I don't I don't get called out as much anymore. It's not just about that though. It's how would I imagine myself alone on deserted island somewhere you know and it's fucking beautiful if I'd imagine myself just the way I am in so Jim with you Being in relationship to transfer. When did YOU FIRST START? Talking about this publicly. Probably two thousand and three generations will different like you know when you're a kid it was just. It wasn't acceptable. You just you know you fucking gay. You know so. I'd say two thousand three. Did a show called confessing it then. Montreal Jeff Oh my God like his name Jesus Jeff Dunham Jeff as me him in the puppet and we all opened up in the car. I forgive me Jeff. I know you for many years. My memory is going but it was called confessing and you told a story publicly. You'd never told so I always do. I Love Trans Girls. But I wound up having sex with this girl I picked her up. She was driving back to New Jersey and she asked me for a ride and I was again. We were flirting. We kinda got along and you know we hooked up. We had sex in my car and I told that story but I kinda lied a little bit. I was just kind of getting into publicly discussing and I was like a little scared of how to it so I had to. I lied about while I think she was trans. And I think at the end I saw Dick lie talking going down in my mouth. Please fucking Debbie. Doug an exploding cigar I you know. It's like progressive. The way you talk about things you get more comfortable as you get older and you get more comfortable with who you are You start talking about it more and more that was Was was the Montreal. Comedy Festival confessing it and then opium the OPIE and Anthony Show. We were kicked off the air at the time. Said I'M GONNA I'm gonNA write down now. I told him called Monster Rain to about as to blow my friends and I was a kid. Obviously I'm going to write those down and we on the air. I'm reminding you that became an HBO special monitoring but the transplant. I talked about kind of from that point on it was harder to get into And you get more and more comfortable every layer you peel of yourself on stage you get more and more comfortable. Would you say in the beginning? There was like an embarrassment. Shame of just like what are people going to say? And it's not knowing yourself. It's all about self identifying with guys like guys who like Trans Women. It's almost like it's about self identification. If I was gay I would have come up many years ago. I was gay for years also gay but then I'm like I don't think I am because I do love women but you can't you also I don't think if you're dating Trans Women and if you if you're a man you like Dick you're not straight. Yeah so this illusion that men have no. I'm totally straight. You're not and it's it's okay to not but don't don't try to change the label to make it palatable and comfortable and finance that is our people are happy with so. That's the hard part is about self identifying a lot of men that if David who loved it do identify a straight man who loved Dick. Though you know or straight men who loved to get fucked. Everyone knows that pegging is a thing firstly. If you've ever been on the Internet and on read it how do you identify? It's gotta be bisexual. I mean I mean J- by proclamation. It can't be straight. Are you attracted to men not attracted to men as far as being male? I don't like maleness despise male energy..

"Waited man to the turn. Ona let's do the whole cut back airline. So don't panic. Everyone goes right because some men just have a more feminine hairline which is more round yes so menzies and they're usually actors and so That's all people see and they're like wow I'm going ball but you just have a mature head. I sing women that don't have cellulite. They don't exist there. Everyone no matter how thin you are you have you know but we just in movies and TV. They never you know. Typically if you're attracted to do they use have a square hairline in your brain is math. Yeah Yeah so interesting so sometimes guys panic that they're going bald just because the corners on their forehead are deepening. But that's not necessarily bald unusual. Either I mean it. You can't really tell you now have a decide. You've just noticed all of a sudden. Yeah and that the stressing out about bald and self filling prophecy It feels like there's lots of things to get ahead of baldness supplement. Yes tons of like I mean they don't sponsor us we wants to their names but there's time zone and they were. Is there a way to unscented email? These are people that were real panicked onset email. Oh Gosh I've been there. Bentiu knows I one cent a screen. Grab about someone to them. Spent four hours sprinting. Around the house trying to figure out a way. If there's a way to send a text and for some reason there's not four hours seems a little less than saying than what it actually was probably a good eight and a Hat. I we were in the car talking about. I was in the car stressing because I sent a text to somebody that I did. Not about them to them and it was bad it was bad it wasn't great and the first thing I did was as I saw the bar sending. I pressed airplane mode. I just went straight to airplane mode and then I sprinted out the door to the part of my house that has zero cell reception. Just hoping it wouldn't go through and then I turn my phone off and I threw it will help. I threw it up on this hill where I knew there was no cell phone reception and then I called someone that knows a lot about technology and was like is there a way to send a text and there's no okay. I mean no he was he knew right away. He's like I know exactly what you did. I think everyone's been through this on some level and he knows me but we don't have good service here. Thank God highly favorites. Benton said we've been trying to get a better cell phone reception at my house and then Benton's like see. Could you imagine that went through his message? Instant instant horrible. It was harrowing harrowing. It was very stressful Okay so is there a way uncertain email? We're going to tell you no but there is a way to send an instagram. Dm Yes which is why now only do all my business. Communications don't dump. That's me but the fact that you can on send a message on instagram. That is honestly. I'm I'm back. Thank you sucker Brook. I'm now a fan of yours again. People when you good person. Oh really yeah. That's fine. I'll just go on. It's an accident I meant to build something. Yeah yeah that's it And then the rest of them were kind of boring. Is there a cure for a bulla while people are on the wrong epidemic? It's now corona virus. People still trying to figure out a bola honey catch up anyway. So this is what I started doing. I got some very interesting ideas off of doing that so now I'm in good for you. I have lots of plans So we have a very exciting show today so I wanNA keep moving because Jim Norton is here yes and Lady Jaye one of my best friends on the planet is here and we're gonNA talk about Transgender issues transgender issue. Look at us. Look at us we're topical or in-depth were good for you Jim Norton is one of my heroes is a comedian. You guys know from Open Anthony One of the great comedians to ever do it and he openly dates. Trans Women Talks about it in a specials and Lady Jaye is the first openly transgender writer That she was on. Transparent is now impose director producer. Brilliant and great musician brilliant musician sings Dolly Parton songs with the twist e. I mean you would just lose your God damn minds and one of my oldest friends and she wanted to come on and wasn't sure how I kinda wanted to do like like the Iran episode basically. Let me ask you a bunch of questions that I think most people would be too afraid to ask Maybe people don't have friends that are trans or might not understand or might Don't WanNa look stupid and I was like. Let's just do that episode at some point and then Gabrielle. Union and Dwayne Wade had a daughter that came out and I was like what if we do an episode where we just talk about all this and Jim Norton just happened to be in town so it kind of just came together serendipitous. Louis Yeah. We're being Google DOT computer for all of you so they're here But there's a couple more things that we need to talk about because I'm Nothing if not going to be consistent on this podcast so wisdom of the pot. What's we still have a sound? Effect that wisdom of the pod but but that are wisdom of the pod. Here it is get ready. Get Your Journal. Get your pen. Get your paper. Everyone needs to write this down. Post known them put it on their mirror and recited every morning ready. Are You Ready Mountain? Yes in every relationship. You never do the three. M's mothering. Micromanaging and mayonnaise no connection mothering. Micromanaging maternity leave Menton. We've been talking about this for a week. And he's still cannot remember. The third means of attaining mothering. Migra Managing Mar Martyring. It's martyring it's martyring in your relationships you should not be doing any mothering. And even micro managing or any monitoring especially if it involves manny's so this is you know I think a lot of you'll probably going that makes no sense and a lot of oh I know exactly what that is because maybe you've been mothered micromanaged or martyred on or you're the mothering micromanaging martyr type person. So I've been on both sides being in recovery for codependence. I used to do all these things. So I say all of this With love and my heart someone that used to do it. Not Judging anybody but telling you mothering someone you're in a relationship with is Super Fun Gross. Don't if your actual mother then you should probably do that because I think that's the the law but you should not be treating your husband your co worker. Your boyfriend your girlfriend your wife. As if it's your child you know these people that are like what did you. Did you get enough sleep last night? Did you eat something I need to get you some stop it? It's not your kid okay. Stop mothering adults. It's weird and a lot of us. Get it honestly because maybe we had to be adults when we were children. I was like that I had to cook dinner. I had to clean the house. I had to get myself to school. I had to make my own lunch. I had to take care of other people. You know a lot of us had to take care of our grandparents or we had to babysit our little sisters and brothers. A OF US had to be precocious at a young age. Like you I'm sure you had to build tractors when you were like three. That was more to teach me like I guess work ethic because like I have to take. My parents were great. I have to take care of them. I didn't have to like my grandfather had together. Like they were fine so when we first had this conversation. I was kind of confused on what the difference in like. Mothering was just being helpful. Yeah so you haven't explained to me. It's it's the intention behind it. It's the motives so you can be nice to people. But what's your motive? Because a lot of times when we're mothering. People were really just trying to control them or really. Just the subtext is judgy. It's I don't think you're capable of taking care of yourself so I'm going to take care of you and it ends up being self serving. You're doing it to try to get some kind of power over them some kind of credit or some kind of attention or to manipulate them. So if you're checking up on someone asking. Hey did you sleep last night. How much? How much sleep did you get last night? What time you going to bed? Do you really care or you trying to make sure they're not cheating on you or trying to make sure that they're not doing something that you don't approve of you know so sometimes when we're mothering people were really just trying to control them. Check up on them Control because we have some kind of fear of abandonment with them and we're trying to make sure they're trying to figure out where they are essentially or make sure that they're not getting their needs met from anyone else because we want to. You know because we're possessive of them or it's just you know self serving in a way that a lot of codependence we don't. WanNa focus on ourselves. We want to sort of preoccupy ourselves with other people's problems that makes us feel us full. It's like being pathologically thoughtful as what we call it you know. Hey Are you hungry? Did you eat dinner? Do you need a snack? Did you did this? It's just a way of not having to think about myself and my own stuff and I ended up just kind of mothering. Someone else infantilized them so that I can feel useful. We want to be the focus of your. Yes you get some kind of. It's like a God complex and to get some kind of superiority over you because helping has never really helping. If the motives aren't clean I can be of service to you. If your car's broken down and you need me to drive you to the airport I can drive you to the airport as long as I don't have some kind of strings attached or I'm not keeping some kind of scorecard so usually you know the motive a couple of weeks later so if then I say up tonight. Can you drive in the airport and I can't? I'm busy go. I drove you to the airport two weeks ago or were keeping score which means it's not a pure form of service. We expected something in return. So this is why so many codependence in so many nice people are actually full of rage because codependence breeds resentment. We all have those people in our lives that have done something nice for us quote unquote and then two weeks later. I bought you that candle. And you're not even to come to my baby shower and you're like oh I thought you were just giving me a candle. I didn't realize do you WANNA back. I didn't realize you were keeping score about my behavior. So that's when Nice isn't Nice. You know we say in program helping is the sunny side of control. It's really we're helping you so that you owe us so that you like us so you don't abandon us and so that you treat us a certain way down the line you know. I think it's good to explain this because for someone like me who who I've never. I don't. I've never done these things I don't. I'm not dependent. Some never been nice. Anyone yeah I don't need I've never had like done it with these intended. So sometimes I get confused unexpected. Sounds like you're being a nice good person and then you explaining it to me with. Oh I see the difference now. It's the longtime you'd be talking about. This is sounds like your nine. It's confused it's very confusing. And it took me over and this is why codependence is so insidious you know because you know the same. The alcohol drinking gambling eating stuff. You can see it. You know you can see someone just had nine shots of vodka on a Tuesday in didn't show up for work. It's very clear living your best luck I got it. So that's very easy to see what's going on with the person whereas codependence are rock. Bottoms can be just being too nice to people. Ostensibly just seem like angels. Like what I I went into al-anon I didn't have any problems. I went in because other people other people's behavior other people were drinking and using drugs and cheating. And you know I come from family dysfunction. You know everyone does and I went in and I was like well. I'm just an angel like I give gifts to people and you know throw. I'm always the first person to throw the baby shower the first person to volunteer to Organize work thing. I'm also I was the first person to say. Let's go for a week. Do Girls Nights at my house where I cook for everyone. You know we come off as these. We'll get into it when we get into the third one martyring but we come off sometimes is the best people on the planet but our motives can often come from a place of insecurity. Like you know those people who are so nice. Come off so nice. But you feel like there's something there's a string attached here if you're offering something to me and I don't feel like I can say no. This doesn't feel like real kindness. The people like the fringe. You get the phone calls from in your stomach drops. I don't answer the phone like that's what that you're just like. I noticed that people like I really wanna come by and see some food and it doesn't feel like kindness. It feels like pressure. They need something from you. You know you can feel it when someone's like I just WanNa come over and bring you something. I know you're sick. I want to bring you chicken soup. That sounds so extensively nice. But you're like I know that I'm GonNa have sit there with this person for six hours. And if they find out I have another friend that we're going to get jealous. That's okay yeah so mothering you don't need annoying. It's also annoying. Helping isn't always helping and I think that's smart people who obviously you know the people that. Listen to this podcast. They you know the difference between help that's patronizing and has strings attached and service and also just like you're in adult. We don't need to do it others what they can do for themselves so if you find yourself mothering other adults what's going on with year and don't do it to the people in your relationship with. It's not sexy. It's.

"She left me a message because I had talked about getting prostitutes on the radio so she quoted Dr Phil and I made a one of my message on my second CD. Go you meet some nice people. But she was right. I met Nice people. I felt better about myself when I went to the gym. Was Right yeah she was right. You just got to replace one thing with the other the thing about going to the gym. Sometimes you just go to the gym. It's fucking boring and people people quit. They don't feel stimulated enough but if you take classes that's when it's fun. I take yoga classes or kickboxing classes. Or someone's teaching you things then it becomes. I just have to trainers like having a trainer because it makes me go. I have to show up on my own. I'm fucking worthless helps. That helps. Classes are good too though because a bunch of people people are doing with you. Like there's a bunch of people in there you struggling. I like Yoga because the because we're all in it together you know. We're all struggling together. I've done some yoga but I did. I did a little bit. I guide patients for your breathing. Focus on your. I don't know how to focus on my breathing. My breathing sucks so I can't breathe the I don't do it right. He was tabbed. Did you notice fix homie. I got to wrap this up. "We tried to pass us and a member of scratch the car I remember that but like this little tiny things like sometimes. I'll talk to my sister. I'll talk to my mom. She's like do you remember that thing then all of a sudden it's like I open open up a folder like oh I remember that guy. Whatever happened to him? That guy didn't exist in my brain until a couple of sex. Look at this old folder. Let's open up my old memory of that. You know. Sometimes those are scary though and like I many times drive back to that area. Because it's an Edison. I'll drive back when I'm doing the stress factory your Gig and I'll just I'll drive to that neighborhood number like what the fuck happened here run. Something happened here and it might just be one moment but something happened here. That kind of shifted shifted me. Because I don't know exactly what it is and doctor told me I was molested. I mean maybe he's right. I don't know well at the very least you were sexually involved. was someone else who might have been molested. Yeah without the odds are it had to be one thousand other things that came up. This article was saying that the origins of homosexual. That's one of the things they were saying. The nose homophobic 'cause the origins of sexuality homosexuality is them people being molested when they're younger does not want to set and let me explain that to people. If you're gave you read that you feel bad that can happen to people who would not be inclined towards homosexuality if they're molested when they're younger. Dr Chris Ryan Guy wrote sex at dawn. John was explaining it to me. Is that there's a you like. What is the term not necessarily pattering? Imprinting when you're sexually the active like if someone's sexual with you when you're young and that person happens to be a man you can imprint and you can develop sexual feelings in response to that like you get your your brain triggers sexual feelings towards men were you might not be inclined so like even if you're not actually actually homosexual. You're still turned on by men in a certain way because you were molested. It's one of the reasons why they say but they don't really know why people title who get molested wind up molesting people but it's really common. It's like you know somebody described it best like it's almost like vampire bites you and this thing like you pass onto the next person this this creepy thing but that you know that this is another thing where people took out of context saying that you know homophobic for me. It was all kids. This is my age group that I remember I. I have vague adult memories but not anything concrete that I can say we're sexual the it just kind of like a smoke that comes by and leaves and that's kind kind of how those memories are but with with the kids they were all kids in my age within a year or two of each other so it wasn't like I I don't like being a victim so I feel like you know I volunteered man. I showed up. There was a lot of times I wanted to play the game. Well you were five you know I mean I have so few memories when I was five I mean I bet you probably don't know Y You're doing or what what happened before that. That started it and caused it. I bet the person you're doing it with when people get molested when they're really young one of the big issues as they block it out. You don't remember God damn thing. The brain protects them from all the darkness. Yeah I think so and I've heard that enough so I'm almost thing I always try to to find something to explain. Maybe it wasn't that bad. Maybe it was just me and my friends and then it just kind of developed into something. That was fun and it felt good. I mean again. I can't I can't say there was any ominous force behind it. I just don't remember but it's weird because it's like most kids don't blow their friends. The bilateral great neighborhood. Kids don't play their friends. That should be your next comedy minute tour but it's something we assume something happened but not necessarily right because the first kid that blew his friends had to be one guy somewhere aware throughout history. I got an idea l.. Looks like a fouls put. Everyone's Dick in my mouth. I like the people who's the first guy to pierce his septum right. WHO's the first guy to tattoos face? WHO's the first guy to but faulk there had I? I might have come simultaneous. They two places at once. You never know that might have been a couple of thoughts at the same time. What do you think but fucking started chimps clearly but fuck right like Bernardo's they must but fuck each other they do you know of Bonobos have they only have one taboo which is the mom won't have sex with the sun then then interesting yeah like the whole culture is filled with with sex like champ bonobo chimps all the the the males breed breathe their daughters the exchange sex? It's like a social token like they resolve issues with sex like they're they're one animal that like clearly clearly has massive amounts of recreational sex. And they don't have any violence and the anal. I don't know whether I wonder if that's just because of a position where somebody's on their stomach. And the person behind behind them the creature behind them just like this year asses easier. I don't know I'm not a big fan of ask talk a little bit but I'm not crazy about it. I used to like it more was younger. Well I mean it seems Massey. It has been yet time and time. There's been a few issues could be painful. It's not really supposed to go in in there. No it's not but some people love it they love it. I can do once in a while I can. I can feel a lot. Yeah gets a little sloppy well. It's you now if someone's trans and they don't want to transition and he don't WanNa have a vagina they just wanNA keep their penis. Then there's not a whole lot of So yeah you fucked fuck you I mean there's there's two two options now so it's kind of switch off. Yeah it's it's interesting. How the the just the amount of people that are just people talking about transpeople as changed the numbers? You've never heard that when I was a kid. I never heard it when I was in highschool. You never heard about it. No one was trans now. No one thought they'd be transient highschool. Now Kids in high school or Trans. A lot of kids are trans. You gotta wonder like what what does that. I think people are gentler with it now. That's one thing I think. The younger generations generations. A little smarter with is that they don't just judge you for it and people can kind of be comfortable being who they are. Because the people I mean I'm sure transpeople existed but you just you didn't know what to call it nobody. I didn't know what it was when I first saw her encountered it. I had no idea what it was. Well there's a movie or a book rather that I read about custer and one of the parts of the book is about this guy who went somewhere and came back and his wife had died and it turned out that his wife had been a man and everybody found out and so he had like this this thing he said you know if anything happens to my wife you don't touch her leave her alone we come back. They didn't do that. They did an examination they found out that she had a dick. And the guy wound up killing himself but so this was something that was going on in the eighteen. Hundreds the wild west. So this guy was like this wild west town and He had a trans wife and he just had to keep it quiet and when people found out about it he wound up killing himself. Yeah there's so much shame it's just talked about this somewhere else too but there's so much shame around it for the men not just for the transient but for the men who like transpeople. This can just shame. Of course I that's one of the things I really appreciate about you. They you don't give a fuck you talk about everything that you like. You talk about everything that you don't like about yourself and I oh I think because you do that on the radio and because you do that freely and openly. I think you help a lot of people man a really do because I think you make it because everybody loves you right right so like you can come on this podcast and you know you can say anything you know. I love you and there's no way you're sexual desires. Our interest is is gonNA affect that in any way you could be free and then we could all talk about stuff and then there's probably some kid out there that's going I think I'm okay. Yeah I think I'm okay. I don't think I'm a freak fucking. Everybody loves Jim Norton like it's okay. I get emails from people. A Lotta guys have sent me messages to go. Hey Mike thanks for talking about that because because it made me feel like it was all right to light that remained me. Feel more everything. We're a culture that likes to scold each other because it you know it's like you you have to be comfortable talking about it and realizing hey you might not say this word right you might not express it right. What we're doing the best? We can to grapple with this whole thing but it's about self identification for men I and my homosexual. That's why guys don't talk about it. We don't know who what makes us. I think the scolding things a big point what you just said that people are worried that people going to scold them and you know one of the things people do when they're worried about this. They scold other people. I you know. That's what what bullies are when people go around beating people up the reason why they go around beating people up. It's because they're afraid someone's going to do it to them secure cure so they won't have power over there's other people because they're terrified someone's going to want to have power over them because they're weak and this is like that expression hurt people hurt people. Yeah like when you see online bullying or on people ganging up on people online. I guarantee you every one of those people doing that terrify. That's GONNA come back to them. Yeah and they just throwing throwing rocks and hoping no rocks come back their way. Hoping the mob doesn't look at them hoping and praying hoping and praying deep part of it. As if you're not a part of it you could be the one that they're doing it to yeah. I've chosen particularly over the last few years when I recognize like there's a difference between my reach and my influence and other people's I don't do that. I don't re tweet weep things that people say that are mean to me and say won't you eat shit fuck face or you know like what a cute person you are I I could easily and then millions and millions of people I would see that and then then this person going to fucking panic back and look at the twitter feed and a phone's blowing up in inbox coming and then they have to go see their counselor counselor psychiatrist. Docs you're dead. Yeah that all that stuff and this is one of the things that I think is a real problem with social social media in general and twitter in particular the the that method of communication of just doing techs out there once he gets personal. Like it's one thing thing if you like look they just discovered a new city under the ocean. That's what I use it for or maybe a joke or two but when you get personal with someone like you're getting personal in a way that you're not not connecting with them you're throwing a text out there and you're also doing it publicly for the whole world. You're not communicating with that person one to one like a human being. And because of that because you're not communicating with them one human being. You don't feel them. You feel like you can say mean thing. Yeah go after you almost want it you so you almost want people to go after them. You want bad things to happen just to see if what you're what you're doing this game as effective. Yeah you know Jamie Kills Team I do. Yeah Jamie talked real openly on the podcast about who. He used to be who he is that he used to do that. Go after people. And he's appeal open about how he was just completely one hundred percent virtuous signaling. He would just want people to like him and he said he was walking on the street and I just had to check my phone constantly. Because let's see what. How do people respond to my text or my tweet? How did people respond attacking some senator for you? fucking big at you homophobe and just checking thing constantly and then and then afterwards awards. They came after him. Because you can never be virtuous enough. Never never there's no one out there that's virtuous enough and if you're going to be cruel to people get ready because it's coming back it's it's coming back to you and that's the beauty like I mean I never wanNA shame other people for that shit like just if you make a mistake you say something fucking stupid so be it like think who am I to sit there and get mad at somebody. I mean. Believe me and people come in me. I mean my preferences are not always fucking popular online. Either you know. Of course you called horrible shit I I just don't doesn't bother me but I mean I am fifty one year old man to. It's when you know when you're fifty one and you've come to the environment to stand up thirty years. It's a little easier to have a thicker skin sometimes to whereas somebody who's nineteen or twenty who has been raised in this fucking this psychotic fake polite culture because it's not polite it's vicious Rut the fake polite and when they start getting insulted. I don't know if they a lot of times know how to process that no most people don't and you know you also understand what it is. It's causing housing people to behave the way they're behaving whereas nineteen year old just thinks they're terrible and they need to die..

"I'm a fan of that guy. Yeah. And he's a cool when they like to it is weird. Why don't you don't be like Glover the pitcher, you know, but I am fan from. And it's funny. How some guys have that kind of career where he was Brandon goonies, which was you know, my childhood who doesn't like goonies Jimmy besides fuck you like ruining Krispies? I saw I've seen a while ago. I haven't watched it recently. Maybe I don't even think more talk to you anymore. I get him on the I want to see piecing goonies. But anyway, Jimmy Cooney one hundred. I just never saw it. Fucking goonies. Jimmy. Why not I don't know? I was business. A kid. I was fucking. Oh, you were Jimmy. I know you're funny. What else Jimmy getting Derek on the phone? You know, it's funny. I was gonna ask the like, you know, along the adore is a bit of a nigga for some people a puzzle to figure out Jesse is very always thinking, how is Derek Guinness solve this puzzle. And then I thought of that puzzle solved with Liat Machida was asking. Oh dark on the phone now. Oh, hey, Derek talking to the great, Matt, Sarah. And Jim Norton on UFC, unfiltered. How are you buddy? Derek? I'm good. How you doing very good? You have a very tough fight coming up. But then again, so does Elias Theodoros. Coming up with him. How do you figure that out because he seems like he is so good at everything? He's he's a well round the guy he likes to move a lot. You know, stay busy. I think he's like comfortable with just winning a fight on points. So is this, you know, you just gotta go in there and pull your Willard guy up. And you know, you do have a very well time blitz man when you come forward, and you would like fucking H strikes. This is what I was thinking about on the way in here of this fight. You know, I'm thinking about, you know, allies the door as a bit of an enigma fair. A lot of people. He's kinda hard to head. He's he's got a little off the docks style. But then Derek Brunson. I think about you versus another guy who's hard to time, and that's Leo Machida. And we saw that went. So that's gotta give you confidence. Right. I mean, you have you ever think about that? When you're fighting this guy that's hard to time. And yeah, yeah. Yada, yada. But look what I did with the Oto. Movie. It's like whenever I'm in front of these guys in my division. I feel like I'm the guy it just more about taking my time and setting my strike Shen. Like like, you said earlier, I got it comes with like eight stripes, not really doing eight strikes, you know, just two or three and I hit hard. So I can get the finish. So he's taking time out there pretty much I exaggerated with with age strikes. But it does seem like you throw a lot going, but it's good. It's a compliment. No, I get it. And when it works, and honestly, and I think we've told you this before, you know, everybody loves Anderson Silva, but I thought that you absolutely won that fight. So as far as you fighting skill that one point you had you had one of bunch of fights dropped one too Whitaker. And I thought you beat Silva, and then you beat Dan Kelly, the ODA Machida. How did you feel about that Silva fight? You must have been very disappointed. Yeah. For sure. Yeah. You know, I thought I got a decision which, you know, a larger scale people who do to fight if I got the decision also so yeah, not I find his way past, but it just like I say about going forward getting minimum gone for really take my time piece in my skills did sign you hit a little harder. 'cause he's not really not known for knockout power. Did he did he hit a little harder than you thought? Or where did he just just catch with one? You didn't see coming? It was just more of my my fourth pressure..

"Backslash UFC. Camario? Hey, buddy, you talking to a met, Sarah and Jim Norton. How are you tomorrow? I'm good. Hey, buddy. Awesome. Fight men. Congratulations. Would that RDA fight man? That was sick. We're on me. Oh, hey, guys. What's up, buddy? He taught me how guard. That's all right man was expected you call. But you gotta do what are you doing? Are you sleeping are we interrupting a private moment coming in hot? No, I'm not I'm I'm just chilling dad. I'm ready for you guys. Well, Matt was saying congratulations, the RDA. I mean what a credibly dominant performance. Thank you. Thank you. I really appreciate that. You won over Dana with that fight. Yeah. Right. Yeah. I mean, it's good to see the ball actually start to recognize the hard work. They put in. You know, that that that was the biggest thing that important to have obviously the boss b b happy would you performance, and you when your job so happy that he was saying that he wants to see you verse. I the champ like that. That's huge. Yeah. I mean, you know, it's it's one of those things that he finally saw the I mean it what else do I do. I need to do in a division to to to get the respect that I deserve to let everyone know that. Hey, I I've done it all I'm here. Now, it's time to to fight for that title as my time to go out and really showed that I am the best division. You know, what I think's hysterical is that I just read that you would you would rather fight. Colby Covington than fighting the champ right now, if you will given a choice is that correct? No, I might way off with that. Put the book that I read. Hold on. What am I reading? It might be. Excuse me might just be, you know, obviously fans tweet entertained, whatever they want to say, and you know, obviously. Okay. Came up with a long way. But no, actually. It's the champions on able to fight. Yeah. The only other fight eight I wanted to settle is called coverage because that fighters personal at the fight. Yeah. I personally want there's fights that you want to move up. Obviously I got into this four to become the chances. Yes. But Koby Covington fight that I will settle for whether I have one leg one arm. That's a fight that I will fight hurt because I was a guy that I really just want to get my hands on you know, how there's just some of those interests that guy you just want to beat up so bad. Yeah. I it doesn't matter. You'll do anything to get your hands on what that that's the case. But when it comes down to it. Absolutely. I am. Title that? That's what I want. What started between exactly what was the moment that story? Will you guys? Just started hating each other. It was just. I think it was just you know him. I'm this sport. I take it very seriously because I didn't give into this fault because I need to. Because I wanted to compete against the best and I wanted to move up to visit and become the Ben, you know, when I got into wrestling the same thing that a new restaurant, even what I you. It was the late. How? I been wrestling for a while. But I got it worked hard, and I got there..

"You're talking to Matt Sarah and Jim Norton on UFC, unfiltered. How are you vocal? I'm doing great. Thank you. What about you doing? Okay, man. We have Anthony Smith on. I want to say earlier in the week. He seems pretty confident going into this fight. What do you think? Yeah. Definitely is coming to big wings to fire. I think he's is the new division both five hundred. Well, I think you're definitely have confidence right now is living in a moment. He I've seen I've seen now the top of the division. I just say call me Kim of fight against now is division champion. And I know what it is now to be fighting the best fighter in the world. Number-one full then. I know for sure. Not as close as Corby and to fight is going to be going in my way, and Volk. And if the fighting the champ DC, what did what did you take from that is anything like specifically like man, I have to just this is what I took from. It is anything you really learned from that. Yeah. I learned a lot about. How to hunt? What what to do in the fight? How to enjoy the fights. Learn how to pace myself. I learned a lot of different stuff. And it's it's it's a bunch of I've been putting into practice in my in my everyday life, definitely Cormie as a as a different style than entity. Is you know, he's a short stocky restaurants. And Anthony is you know, the longer is the long and powerful striker and the exact style elect to do you notice the style where they're from the best. And that's why he's going to be a good night for me. Yeah. And before you're coming off really really impressive first round TKO's off in Manta wa so that that when you go into it with Cormet, you're aware that he's going to have a different approach. I'm sure. Yeah. Definitely. And also, I think he has a much experience at the highest level of sport. So. He was definitely the toughest beast. I have a fault. Which the same with the with Anthony, I think Antonis really experienced too. You know, yes. Like, so many five, but also so many not that level is is been doing a lot of fighter in local promotion before the and and now it's a it's it's when it's really now when is really matter now when you call me that I'm bringing that back to what was there anything you like, okay, I want to work on this a little bit more. Or is there anything that you felt you got kind of caught off guard with or quote with that you want to improve on. I just wanted to fight too quickly. And that's maybe what costs me the fight. My mindset was on really knocking out really really fast and. That's what I tried to do. And I know I lived on things differently and work on some different stuff. When different parts of my game. Also now lesson learn did come learn and. Yeah. So I'm sorry to interrupt. You coming coming off those two first round knockouts. Do you think that that kind of puts you in a head space that might not have been as good? I think that's maybe what Dr Neil so too quickly. 'cause I know I'm capable off. And every time I couldn't in five. It's it's over in the, you know, my my my lot of my fights were and you're gonna really early in the first phone, and I wanted to continue to grow that way. Yeah. They say I mean, again, we talked to Derrick Lewis as well who has that same kind of power who can just finish it with one punch, which means that you're technically never out of a fight. But I think at times guys will just rely on that. And if you don't get it fast. It can it can be a problem. Yet. That's for sure. That's why our has been the developing my game. I've been also trying new sports. You know, I've been going to St James Taiji been keeps keep putting an accent on my wrestling with my when my coach back home. So so definitely my my game is developing a lot. And I'm I'm doing everything I can to to build up, my weakness and strengthen also my strength training with the gray..

"Sorry, we've your weeping story fucking mentioned heckling. Let's talk the change Justin. How you Jake. All right, good. You talking to Jim Norton and Matt, Sarah and Jason Perello do it. All right. You don't. You and I have met, you don't know me, we, we, we met on the bus. Because he does. No, he's not here Justin. How are you? Buddy? It's mad. Sarah. Good. Good now is have you ever heard of comedian Jim Norton? No. Yes. That was very, what does he is? He is he known for putting on this. That was very unconvincing. Be Ralph. That was the least convinced the I've actually, I've actually given more convincing answers when women asked if I cheated no. All right. Well, you wearing a light blue suit, and you look very good. Where are you now? I'm in my room. You and I were on the bus together. I was sitting in front of the we were talking to some rapper machine gun Kelly. Yup, yes. I was not familiar with his music. And I guess you with your girl, you guys both big fans of his girl is, isn't it kind of cool when a guy who your girlfriend likes or your wife likes likes you and you can. That's like really great points at home. Yeah, helps it does help. All right. So how do you remember whenever he we learned, we was like, oh, shit. Like first of all, you can punch me back in the ball. My girlfriend wants to take a picture with you. Yeah, I do remember you talking about your girlfriend? I didn't. I didn't know who he was. I knew he was famous though because his shirt was open to his belly button had tattoos, and he was going that way and I'm like easy. The refunding. He's either a bantamweight fighter or he can say he does something like that. He was on the book he had to be someone with that is a good point. But then again, I'm on the bus and I'm pretty much a nobody too. So I can snake my way onto the boss fucking. Nobody just goes, just engage. He doesn't know what how you are. I don't blame them just. Was lying when I said yes. Of course, I don't blame you. You. I mean, I mean, he's, I mean, he's pass my time, but I mean, there's no dig on him. That Jimmy, did you know that he felt this way? And that's why you're rooting for James Vick. Nobody's not wrong. I don't root against the guy for telling the happened to be a fifty year old gentleman, Justin, a younger guy, and he's been fucking kicking ass for awhile. So no, he, he's right. Justin, let me ask you something. I didn't mean ruin the show. World everything, just it, how much more motivating is it when you get someone talking shit whenever Michael Johnson did that and that that worked out great for you? I don't. I don't know if I mean, listen, you having some phenomenal fights. Even the ones the last couple that didn't go your way. I mean, shit living up to your name the highlight, but how much? How much more sweeter is it or how much motivating when you get a guy talking shit, James Vick this the most I've ever heard this guy talk. Yeah, leading up to this. I mean, is it change your mindset at all, leading up to the fight in a way. I mean, either way go in there and I gotta get a w. but yeah, he's bullshit. I can't wait to button just making a little child in there and we want to ask you to Justin because you you really are a guy who you coming off a couple of losses, but it doesn't matter the way you fight. Everybody wants to watch you fight. You're never in a fight. That's not a exciting. Has. That how is that affected you? Has it affected you at all your mentality? No. You know, I I make my sleep in. My my perfect example with Arturo Gatti how many times has that man loss? He lost the eight or nine times, but he's a legend. This is not legends are made you go out there and you put it on the line. You don't win. Every time you out there, you control the things you can control which his preparation, nutrition rest. And that's what I do. I go out there and I am prepared for for a war. That's the kind of fight I wanna have..
