New York Yankees miss chances, fall to Jays in opener

"Let me take you to another one yesterday yankees and bluejays on a chilly day. The opener a yankee stadium. And here's the highlights from this one. Bottom of two one. On for gary sanchez and gary. Sanchez has left the ballpark sanchez. The first yankee catcher to homer on opening day in eleven years jens have a two one league garrett cole now doing the pitching and not well oscar hernandez oh no doubt about that drills one the left in the six that ties the game two and garett cold not pleased bottom nine. Same score winning. Run it second. Aaron judge of the plate. Can he be the hero on opening day. That's the question. The answer is no judge. One for five struck out twice. We're going to extras top of the ten runners. At second randall. Grischuk pool rightfielder. Aaron judge can't get it no. We can't sixty five percent was the hit probability on this. It's an rbi double. The run comes around to score and that would be the difference. Blue jays win it three two in extras on opening day. And so back to you jessica mendoza. What's your number one takeaway from the ball game yesterday in the bronx gary sanchez. I mean you've got to remember a lot of people. Were watching last year gary sanchez. You didn't think he was eating a start or be in this lineup for the yankees. Because how bad help awesome. He was offensively last year. Being one forty seven six four strikeouts tech eight teen walks. His biggest thing coming in was to be able to sit back behind the baseball. That home run. You could use feel the pressure. Come off of him. Why because there's so many other guys in this lineup. That when they struggle. It's up to gary sanchez. And he's the difference maker to me because you know when it comes down to aaron judge who also struggled with this game carlos stanton both of those guys are prone to injuries. They're not going to be in this lineup throughout the entire season and to the big piece. That's missing because by the way it is world series or bust for the yankees team. Gary sanchez has to step up. I know it's only one game but that run was huge

Star of ‘Real Housewives of Salt Lake City’ accused of wire fraud

"We're talking about the real housewives of salt lake city again. I didn't watch this. Everyone loved this season. It premiered right warm as them was involved so that was very of interest to a lotta people they made. It made it a little interesting. It's like oh. These women are talking about the mormon church right. They're talking about the mormon church and they're talking about converting 'cause she was a mormon gen sean that she was like you know what like the mormon church has been very terrible. The black people in the past. Like i'm going to convert islam. And so like she has this interesting relationship to salt lake city right so long. You understand why all these women were cast this. This happens this week. She gets arrested for multiple crimes. So allegations are wire fraud conspiracy to commit wire fraud and money laundering. Basically what she was doing was working in this. Multi leveled multi layered scheme. They call it the business opportunity scheme and the thing which involves collecting and creating and selling lead less lanner way. Yeah well it's when you start a company and you want to kind of hit the ground running with your company. You can buy a lead list. And i was googling this on a lot of people have problems with lead list because they can reliable. They're really rely a list of people's names and numbers essentially right contact information and the information about Names and numbers. Email address all their demographics. And then you have this sort of like set group of people who probably likely to respond to whatever your company is right. Suckers is what you're saying suckers suckers and so she's developing these lists and also selling these less so she's making money on the selling of these lists which the best of my knowledge are really expensive. Like if you're starting a company and you want to buy lead list depending on the quality of the list you could be paying a ton of money right and it could be risky. And apparently there could be legal complications with even buying lists. I was reading about this. It was like beware of buying lead lists and so she was not only allegedly selling these late lists and creating these lead lists. She was working with the people who bought them so that they be using those lead lists to target. These older people susceptible people with business schemes. That were non existent and the old people would pay them a ton of money. And then jenn shaw would allegedly get a cut of that. I think i'm doing a pretty good job explaining what this is. But that's the wire fraud which is as our friend amina says that's is crime because that's always what they get rich people on that's the easiest crime to get people on because it involves receipts it's like is there. Documentation of z happening. Yes it's wire fraud.

I wrote in two thousand seventeen on tumbler. Blog that no longer exists. I wrote this poem shortly after the trump administration had taken over and caused all kinds of horrific problems. That seem to be coming at us really fast. And today when i read this poem it kind of feels to me like it fits into our current situation. We're still dealing with the trump administration and we're dealing with covid nineteen so this poem is titled. We are in the wrong time line. Not sure when it happened exactly but things are not the same time moves differently now than it did before the days and hours moves so slowly from morning until night and yet the hours filled with a frenzy of so many things. It's all happening at once. Smushed into a time span where it doesn't fit. I'm trying to keep up with all the shenanigans that are going on but some of it is slipping through my fingers and speeding away before i can find the words to pin it down in blog posts each day stretches itself out. It is not daylight savings time. Nothing feels right anymore. It's all uncomfortable and stagnant the atmosphere. The air that we breathe is heavier pressing down upon us. gravity has increased. Its strength just enough for us to feel the difference. My world is moving at a snail's pace. How is it possible that all these awful things are happening so quickly while everything else slows to a crawl. This isn't how it's supposed to be. We are in the wrong time line. Maybe we fell through a wormhole and then collectively had amnesia. We are down the rabbit hole now. Trying to figure out which talking door is lying to us in which one is telling us the truth. I'll be searching my dreams for the key. The clue the missing pieces that can put us right again. There must be some way back. And that's the end of this poem titled we are in the wrong time line. "This is jen and you are listening to words of jenn. This is episode. Sixty and i'm recording this on november eighth twenty twenty as part of nepad pomo in this episode. I will read to you a short story that i originally posted on mastodon in twenty eighteen true story of what happened when a large and incredibly dumb spider decided to come in for a visit. This one is titled strider is recalculating. I have just addicted the dumbest spider in all of the land. Out of the corner of my. I see something move on the wall across the room from me. I look up to see a big spider crawling from the open window. It heads for the ceiling. I tell the spider go back outside. The spider shuffles around a bit moves across the ceiling. Stops it decides to go back to the wall above the window. Suddenly the spider jumps off the wall. It quickly realizes that it has miscalculated. A spool of spider threat is deployed. And i watched. The spider tried to catch himself before he splits all eight legs wiggling around to the air. A spider tries to stick himself to the thread. Can spiders have panic after successfully getting itself back to the wall above the curtain. The spider decides to run. It uses the edge where the wall meets the ceiling as a guide and tries to sumo shit self into a little hole between the ceiling. Panels spider figures out that it is too big to fit. In the first little hole it moves quickly to the next one and the next and the one after that gaining speed doesn't fit in any spider freaks out some more hugh yacky sacks the spider continues heading to the corner of the room near light fixture. It stands in what is now. The brightest part of the room biter takes a moment to collect itself after a pause. And i assume whatever kind of meditation spiders due to calm themselves down. It comes up with the new plan. Yeah it would be better to just try to go back outside. Spider crawls across the wall toward the window passes right by the window. Spider stops thinks. The spider turns around and moves toward the window. Again it decides to use the space where the wall and window meet as a road. Dark brown spider tries to blend in with the pastel green wall and fails miserably. It's good so long very carefully after realizing that it is too big to fit for spider. Legs dangle off the side of the ridge with every step. The spider takes clumsy spider. Falls down onto the top of the curtain. Rod spider makes a new plan. It is going to try and climb down the curtain the front of the curtain that faces. The room has some texture. The spider of course chooses to use the back side of the curtain. The part that faces the window it picked the side that is covered with a slick blackout. Coding i peak around the curtain and watch the spider start to slide down legs. Flailing spider determines that it has severely miscalculated it flings itself at the window glass and tries to smush itself into it. The spider fail. How did a creature this dumb live long enough to grow so big spider. Sit still recalculating. It decides that the best thing to do now to crawl away from the window and go back up. The wall spider wanders aimlessly yet anxiously when it gets low enough to reach. I slam a glass over him. Push piece of thin cardboard between spider and wall. These are the tools. I use to vic spiders. Most of the spiders pause unsure of what just happened to them some poke at the glass and others try and turn around in hopes of finding the way out this spider repeatedly slams itself against the glass with all of its might over and over again. This is not normal behavior out of concern that this spider is actually going to wind up killing itself. I rushed to the back door. I flipped the glass upside down holding the cardboard against it. As i said it on the porch railing lifting the glass usually results in having the captured spider. Run away to safety. This spider however can't figure out how to get out of the glass. It tries to stay inside and i resort to gently shaking him out it pauses and sits on the piece of cardboard spider recalculates then carefully crawls along the poor trailing and goes on his way. Good luck to you. Dumbest spider and all of the land. And that's the end of this episode. Where i have read to you. A piece called spider is recalculating. "This is jen and you are listening to words of jenn. This is episode number fifty nine in this one. I'm going to read to you a poem. I wrote in two thousand eighteen. I wrote it originally on medium and pulled it off of their later. After i realized that not a lot of people seem to want to read poetry on medium and it really wasn't getting any attention so it's been on my book of john website ever since it is a poem that i said i wrote two twenty eighteen. But it's it's still relevant today it keeps coming up. It has to do a little bit with politics and how people react to it. This episode is part of now. Pod pomo twenty twenty and this one is titled. The outrage machine made a twitter account filled. With all that you hate anonymously used to instigate and aggravate paid protesters use scream with no evidence shown terrified to consider views different from your own. The same gif is posted as everyone else by those who insist they can think for themselves. Don't they have jobs. You facetiously implore letting everyone know how much you hate. The poor protesters aren't toddlers throwing a tantrum. They're fighting for rights your refusing to grant them a series of numbers. After your name means you are a but with no right to complain. The outrage machine requires its fuel supply to a daily by furious fools. Your stream of hate speech is easily thwarted with just a few clicks blocked and reported in the dead of the night. Can't hide from what's true without all that rage you'd have nothing to do and that brings us to the end of this episode with little poem called the outrage machine. "You are listening to words of Jen. Where I read to you one piece of my writing in each and every episode wage, this is Jen and you are listening to words of gen. This is episode number 58 and this episode is part of Na pod promo $20 off the title of this episode is dreaming of Buffets. My husband and I are at a pizza place that we used to frequent before we moved halfway across the country. It has a small buffet in the corner that includes slices of pizza with a variety of toppings. There is a salad bar baked chicken and a small selection of desserts. I'm standing their plate in hand trying to decide what to eat. The delicious smell of pizza fills the air and I reach out to pick up a few slices. And then I wake up. I've been having very vivid dreams about the phase. This is quite unexpected considering that I suffer from food intolerance and allergies and don't really enjoy eating based on what I've read on the internet. It appears that many people are having memorable dreams during the covid-19 pandemic. In another dream. We are at a local Chinese buffet. There is a wide selection of food to choose from. I fill up a plate with egg rolls fried rice and steamed vegetables everything smells and tastes delicious. When I wake up it Dawns on me that this Chinese buffet no longer exists. It closed years ago and a fancy coffee shop moved in and remodeled the location the call shop did well until the covid-19 restrictions caused it to close. I've also dreamed about standing in line at a Panda Express, which my sleeping mind has decided. She counts as a buffet in this dream. I am starving and staring at the piles of food behind the plexiglass. It is unclear what kind of food I ordered the worker hands me a to-go container, which warms my hands as I walk away. More than once I've dreamed about the local HomeTown Buffet my choice of food. This time is a plate of fresh vegetables from the salad bar with spinach leaves cherry tomatoes peas shredded carrots and some brightly colored pickled beets go on the plate. There's room for a little bit of ranch dressing. I wake up before I get to eat any of it. Once again. This is a buffet that went out of business several years ago. My subconscious mind is trying to feed me but most of the buffets it selects are long gone. Maybe these dreams are a metaphor for 2020 the things that used to sustain us before the pandemic are disappearing and some may never return this brings us to the end of episode 58 of words of gen if you enjoyed listening to me off a piece of my writing to you you can find more episodes on book of Jen. "You, are listening to words of Jenn. where I read to you one piece of my writing. In each and every episode. This is Jen and you are listening to words of Jenn. This is episode number fifty six in this one. I share with you a little story. I wrote based on the antics of one of my neighbors on Memorial Day weekend. This one is called. It ain't gonNA, work. My neighbor, who loudly and frequently build stuff has wield a kayak holder to the back of his pickup. I'm fairly certain. He built the holder himself. A familiar rattling and squealing noise was my first clue that the kayaks were coming out. Of course I decided to look out the window to see what was happening. Neighbor puts his two kayaks into the back of his red pickup truck. One falls out school weaking its way to the ground. Neighbor stands and stares at it momentarily dumbfounded. He picks up the escaping yellow Kayak and places it inside the back of his red pickup next to the Blue Kayak. That was already in there. They are side by side now and filling up the entire back of the truck. Neighbor attempts to shut the tailgate on the back of the pickup. The Blue Kayak is too long for the truck and it is sticking out past the end of it. Neighbor cannot close the tailgate. He fiddles with the kayaks for awhile, and eventually realizes there is no possible way to make the Blue Kayak fit inside the bed of the pickup truck. He leaves the tailgate open and begins an attempt to find some way to secure the KAYAKS. I predict that both kayaks will fly out of the pickup bed when the truck reaches speed. Neighbor walks away for a moment when he returns, he stacks Yellow Kayak on top of the blue, won a small square and. A flag like piece of fabric has been attached to the end of the Blue Kayak. Next he begins filling up the rest of the truck bed. With all manner of things. Some folding chairs go in along with a small cooler. Possibly some fishing gear, and what might be.

"You are listening to words of. Jenn where I read to you one piece of my writing in each and every episode this is Jen and you are listening to words of Jenn Episode Number Fifty Five. This one is called pandemic dreams. The bedroom was filled with daylight as I started to. Wake up on the bed next to me was a German shepherd. This was unexpected because my husband and I do not have a dog. The German shepherd was lying on his side facing away from me. The dog was resting its head on a pillow and was fast asleep. He was radiating happiness and security not wanting to wake this mysterious dog but needing to know if he was real. I reached out my hand toward him. He was warm and his firm was soft. This German shepherd even smelled like a dog but an extremely clean one. He certainly seemed real. Okay Doug I thought to myself. You're obviously happy sleeping here. So let's take a nap. I turned onto my side. Rearranged my blankets and scooted closer to the dog. He snuggled up to me and seemed to smile a bit more when I put my arm around him. It wasn't until after I put my head back on my pillow that I heard a voice. He needs a blanket. The voice explained the voice sounded mail and I did not recognize it. Whoever was speaking wasn't in the bedroom with me and the dog. I looked down at the foot of the bed. A bright orange. Heavy blanket was sitting there neatly folded into a square eye. Unfurled the blanket and gently placed it over the German shepherd. He snuggled into the blanket. Still Fast Asleep. The scene I have just described did not to actually happen. I woke up shortly after it ended and realized it was nothing more than a dream. It was one of the most vivid dreams I've had in a long time. It was in full color and included sound texture. Even sent the best part of the stream was the powerful sense that everything was going to be. Okay that feeling was incredibly attractive. It was disappointing to have dissolve after I woke up for real this time in the midst of the in nineteen pandemic. I'm not the only one having strange extraordinarily vivid dreams right now. A quick Internet search brought up plenty of articles in which other people shared what they have been dreaming about. One of the articles noted that shortly after nine eleven people mentioned that they were having dreams that involved plane Crashes Today. Our minds are serving up dreams about an invisible virus. That's hard to visualize so people are dreaming up images that range from creepy too terrifying. My husband and I were sitting at a small table on the patio of a cafe. The table was made of decorative metal swirls as were the chairs we sat on there was a tall colorful drink on the table in front of me and a smaller drink in front of my husband. It was mid afternoon. And The Sun was glinting off the awnings of various restaurants that lined the street. The weather was nice and warm. The outdoor Patios were full and people were walking in the street together. I assumed we were at some place that was designed for tourists and pedestrians. There were no cars in sight. As I listened to my husband talking to me I noticed that some of the people in the street had stopped walking. They looked up and pointed at the sky glancing up. I saw several soap bubble balloons slowly floating across the sky. They came from somewhere behind the street of restaurants. My husband and I were sitting at moved across the sky and beyond the opposite St. I pointed out these soap bubble balloons to my husband and we watched them for a little while. The Sun was behind us so everyone was facing the other way to watch the balloons. It was relaxing. Some of the balloons were shaped like cats and others were heart-shaped. Suddenly I had a strange feeling something was wrong. I turned my head and looked down the street a direction. No one else was looking. There were things in the sky. I could hardly make out as they got closer. I realized that they were planes. The balloons were a distraction. We need to leave now. I said grabbing my husband's hand we ran down the street away from the planes. I explained to him what I had seen. The planes were old and had propellers the ones used in World War Two. They were silent which seemed impossible. It wasn't until we made it down the street and around the corner that the screaming started there was a university not too far away and we ran to it. One of the buildings was made of stone and designed to look like part of Castle. The door was closed but open to the instant. I raised my hand to knock on it. A woman opened the door and waved US inside. She slammed the door behind us and locked it. The woman had short hair and glasses and looked like she was someone who worked in this building. She asked us to a wall. Put a key into a lock. We did not see and open to passage way. We followed her. What looked like a thick metal wall? A door opened and another woman held it for us. The first woman was the last inside and she slammed the door. There were about fifteen to twenty people in here with us and everyone looked terrified. There were some couples a few families with small children and people who got here by themselves. The woman we met I put her finger to her lips in sh gesture. We are safe in here. She explained but we should stay quiet. They cannot get in. They cannot find us. We must wait this out. When I woke up I found myself feeling very anxious. In the dream. The virus took the form of old planes. That no one saw coming until it was too late. My husband and I ran for a safe place to shelter and wait it out. It is obvious that this dream was about my concerns about corona virus. I was wandering through my apartment searching for something that I was unable to find. It would help if I could remember what it was that I was looking for. I must have walked from the front door to the back bedroom. Dozens of times there was a noise of movement behind the couch. I found this confusing since I knew there was no one here but me behind the couch. There was a woman who was lying on the floor. I had no idea who she was or how she got there. Oh good you're here. She said standing up and brushing herself off. The woman wore a black shirt made from material. That was both sturdy and stretchy at the same time. She wore grey cargo pants with plenty of pockets. I was sent here to find you. She said come with me. Who are you I asked Oh right. You don't know that yet I'm you she replied. I must have given her a look of disbelief. I mean not you. I'm you from another time line. I gave this woman closer. Look she was younger than me. Possibly in her late twenties or early thirties she had long straight. Red Hair pulled back in a low ponytail just the way. I used to wear my hair when I was younger. She wasn't wearing glasses either. She had contact. Lenses or vision was much better than mine. She stood still waiting for me to recognize myself. The me from another timeline started to look familiar. I take after one side of my family. She looked like what I may have if I had taken. After the other side her bone structure was somewhat smaller than mine. Freckles dotted her face and she didn't have family knows the other me nodded. Her head smiled and reach out her hand. A bright oval-shaped portal open behind her. Come on we need to hurry. She said it's extremely important that we go right now before it's too late. I took her hand and followed her into the portal. After I woke up I tried to figure out what the story meant. My best. Guess is that it is about escaping. This chaotic scary dangerous world. It's too bad that I woke up before finding out where that Portland or why I was important enough to be brought here and that brings us to the end of this episode of words of Jenn. "And when I read it I read it to David and I said David someone is saying what I can't say in. Its bet it doesn't have to be black or white. There can be a ground where all of it makes sense and it works for the common good like that can happen and she saying these words and a new that you were saying to people. Bet We're going to get fired up and be behind you one hundred percent and you were also saying people that were just wanted to knock you to the ground. But it's like the same way with like there can't doesn't have to be all one way or all the other there can be beautiful sacred ground right in the middle. Yes this is one of the tricks of the trade to keep US silenced and Silo D- And sidelined this is it this team. Which is you can either be this or you can be vis as a woman you can either be good or you can be selfish right. And so we've been handed these really outdated justice truckload of outdated conventions that don't work and they're not real they're made up. I'm telling you they are made up and I just can't help it like look at some of the more insidious forms of Patriarchy and how it has just broken people's hearts for so long and I think one of them is pitting women against each other like if women can just take each other out like this if we can create such binary ideas where we are unable to hold nuance with one another or tension or to say there's a huge spectrum here with a lot of points in between the nobody has to that workforce. We'll do it ourselves. I deeply believe in the power of dialogue and of mature discussion. That's a real through line in the book which is how do we purge our relationships of drama of these binary ideas of unnecessary conflict? And I think all that's possible I really do. I think we're grown up enough to manage our relationships like this. Our own ideas like this without just thrown in the talent saying well. I'm either one hundred percent or zero right. I love that what we have to start at the beginning of this book. We learned that. Jen is setting these chapters in these sections at. There's a purpose for them in the way that she wrote them and lay them out in the book. One of the first sections being. It's called who I am and we're going to wrestle with this for second we're GonNa talk about who we got. We got a new high ladies. We gotta know if we're going to move in this space. Let's first start with WHO I am. But what do you say to those listeners? Who like how the heck laugh I miss out? I mean firing back to some of your earlier words. What if they said to you Jim? I've been polished me for so long. I don't even know where to begin a love that woman I search compassion for her and I have such hope I believe that even if we have spent every living second of our lives Polish up the container it is never too late to get down to the core of what's real and what's true and figure out how to live out that I really do I. I don't think out of reach from a single woman on planet are so to your point the way the book is sort of structured of these five huge ideas in which. I discovered that both in my personal life and my community of women people were not integrated. We were not telling the whole truth there. One thing on the outside a different thing on the inside. Which was who. I am what I need what I want what I believe. And how connect and so we got a lot of disintegration inside those categories but we start with who I am because that's what matters most way outside of what we do or what we are good at or how our lives are operating right now. We push all that aside. We'll get to it but we start with like who are you like? How were you formed? How were you specifically created to flourish on this earth? What is your personality? How are you wired this matters so much? Because from that core everything flows. Some of our parents told us who we were are siblings. Assessment of us has real weird power. What they told us what are other adults in our life told us just the messages we received in the air. Like you and I were talking about a minute ago. You know the world has been us how to be since we were in kindergarten. Those label stick man and so I think some of us are operating out of what we might even say no. I think this is who I am. And my question is is it is it. It's worth examining is that true. Is that label over you real. Was it ever real even if it was. Is it still real heavy outgrown that? Have you evolved past that? How were you meant to live one thing? I want women to know right now when they're thinking like I don't even know if I could do that. I don't even know if I could get down to the bottom of that one thing. I want you to believe if you believe nothing else is that you can trust yourself like you. Can you can trust your instinct. You can trust your gut when your mind says Inuit. That isn't Hawaiian. Like she's been saying that to me for thirty five years. But that isn't not who I am or I've been pretending to be this for a really long time but my gut is telling me that's not real so I think if we can trust ourselves and settle into the pocket of some self identification. Then were ready to do everything else. And also what is the worst that can happen? What if you do the work? What if they called you a certain word growing up in? You did the work and he did. The heavy lifting comes found out. You still are that okay. Move on or you go. Good would have been worth it. You know won't have been worth it to figure that out for so long for most of my life. My mother called me a Popstar your pots Melissa that you start the pot and you know what? We're good food healthy amount of time. She was right. She called me that about six years ago and I don't know what it was about that moment but I just went. That doesn't ring true anymore. That's great I grew out of that and when we grow out of it we get to replace that label. We get to remove that. And that's the work that's worth the work. Oh it's so good. It's such a good example. In this section you talk about a actually referred to a young up and coming lesser heart. Hopefully get my get. Her name is Brennan Brown. You know what she can. Just keep trying you know she can. Just keep trying. Success may find. Its Way to her. I don't you start now. Go follow her on social media. Almost just give this kid a shot now. Our Queen Brunei Brown as us many things over the years but one of her best lessons and probably hardest is about true belonging. How it doesn't mean squishing in squeezing yourself to fit within a group but rather belonging to yourself. I would love to hear you explain that concept a little bit more. Why it even means what it s de Bernez been such a good teacher to me on this exact concept on what it means to belong to yourself as opposed to being behold in to your group norms or the sanctioned elements of your particular subculture. And everybody knows what I'm talking about those all different for each of us. You know whatever sort of environment you either grew up in that you find yourself as an adult. Every group has its own culture and so we can pretty much pretty quickly identify like these are the behaviors that keep you in really good standing inside your space. And these are the behaviors that get you kicked to the curb and what's valued. What isn't what's rewarded. What is punished? I say this about women all the time. We are very gifted at reading room and giving it what it wants. You know we have this very high emotional capacity emotional intelligence which can be harnessed for good by the way but I think what it is created are adult women who just SHAPE SHIFT RIGHT TO FIT. Whatever the room once we were told. It's your job to protect the temperature of this room so that nobody else gets either too hot or too cold but we didn't even set the temperature right like don't even charge of it. We're just in charge of keeping everybody else comfortable. So what I noticed in my own world like let's just talk specifically about kind of coming up through what would be considered kind of traditional conservative. Evangelical Women Subculture. That's like its own thing. Is that regardless of what was actually going on inside my heart soul mind? I was constantly trying to keep the peace in there because I knew the rules. I mean I knew exactly what was going to be rewarded and what was going to be punished so I was trying to keep the peace inside that ecosystem but what I learned is oh. I'm trying to keep the peace but I have no peace or I'm trying to keep the peace over here in this group but I m robbing other communities of their piece because refusing to stand with them or refusing to be their ally and so that's not a piece at all Martin Luther King Junior calls that a negative piece which is zero piece. That's fake peace and so you know Brenes idea of like belonging to ourselves which is exactly what this work is. It's digging really deep internally. What do I believe? Like what am I Convicted about what do I love? What do I not love? What's bringing me life? What's not who am I? And belonging to that belonging to who we are regardless of what the rules around us are telling us to do that's true belonging which is why she also calls that the Wilderness and that is how it can feel it can feel really scary to step out there where you're not hitting your marks anymore because that means no group is telling us who to be that we are going to have to decide that. I'm going to be entirely integrated and entirely true all the time with all people in every circumstance which is gonNa make exactly none of them. Happy doesn't this seem like fun work. Everybody it's not a hold. No but I'll tell you what there is something inside of that that is so liberating. I care so much about injustice and I am deeply convicted in principle person and I'm a leader and that carries a lot of weight and responsibility to me so I couldn't keep the lid on and so I came to a point where I knew Jen..

"This his Jen and you are listening to words of jenn episode number fifty one in this episode. I'm going going to share with you a piece of my writing that I just wrote this one is called a festival of blogging. Last year. I joined in on the fun and became part of blog EST reborn. It was a wonderful opportunity. Unity to hang out in discord with the community of bloggers who had also decided to take on this challenge this year. I am taking part in in bogus. Twenty nine teen this festival of blogging is encouraging me to find the time to post content on my own blog on a regular basis. My goal is to post something every day this month. My one advantage in this challenges as my years of experience in blogging. The work I do as a freelance writer. Posting content on other people's blogs for pay started in twenty ten then somewhere along the way. I realized that I no longer needed to feel inspired before I could begin writing something my disadvantages. In regard to this challenge our many I have chronic illnesses. Some of which can make it extremely difficult to do any kind of writing or blogging. When that happens my drive to get things done remains but my body refuses to cooperate? At any moment I could encounter an Allergen that forces me to drop everything and take medication. My fibromyalgia could forgive me. fibro fog which clouds my thinking for an indeterminate. Amount of time or it can cause chronic pain in the form. I'm of muscle cramps. That can turn into muscle. Spasms pain is exhausting. Those are my reasons for choosing to join blog assed twenty nineteen as a participant instead of a mentor. I cannot guarantee that I'll be well enough to mentor. Bloggers on a regular basis. This what I can do is share my blog. 2019 strategy. Here I think that bloggers who also have chronic illnesses may find it useful whether or not they are taking part in this year's festival of blogging. Start creating posts surly and scheduling them to go live later doing so makes the deadline less stressful. It gives you the opportunity to create blogs that require a lot of time to put together finish the blogs you started and have left in draft starting from something is easier than staring at a blank page on days when you have little motivation low energy and no inspiration start thinking thinking of your personal blog as something that is worthy of your time and effort even if you make no money from it personally me. I have a tendency to put everything else. I which means my blog gets neglected. I'm hoping that blogging every day for a month will get me into the habit it of actually putting content on my blog on a regular basis. Do you have a gaming blog if so consider using up the screen shots. What's that you've taken and intended to put into a blog post someday? You don't have to use each and every screen shot. You took pick the ones that visually illustrate the in game thing that you want to write about. Have Fun the challenge of writing a blog post every day or even once a week is intended to spark creativity and encourage you to get into the habit of producing content regularly. If you find yourself getting fatigued it is perfectly the okay to take a break. Festivals are supposed to be fun after all and that brings us to the end of this episode called a festival of blogging. If you.
