"jeff hartmann" Discussed on Behind the Steel Curtain

"And rowdy in the room tonight. Folks if you were you could have been a part of the pre show discussion roof between the other two guys on this show. I don't know they were in the same room. I'd have been to blows but anyway let's bring those two individuals weighing in. I'm not gonna guess brian. Anthony davis podcast. What's up brian. Dave eats dirt any other corner waiting in. And i'm not gonna gas dave scofield. The editor steel curtain day. Hey if someone else thinks that they can understand numbers better than me. They could try try. That's why i sat there and laugh. Okay let's get this show on the road all right. The pittsburgh steelers are wanna know. We talked about that ad nauseam. This week it's now time to start to turn our attention to the las. Vegas raiders coming to pittsburgh at heinz field in week two. It's it's before we get started. I want to get urologist overall. Gist of this game. There's there's the fans that are like michael beck. Michael beck has been saying. He said it in his live. Mike podcasts on tuesday. He reiterated that to me on. Let's ride when he was on with me. Let's ride on a friday debut on our audio side. He thinks game's laugher. He thinks it's going to be a blow out double digit win for the double digit lead. Win for the steelers. How do you all think this game is gonna play. I don't want predictions right now. But i'm just thinking how you feeling about this game as we sit here on thursday night. Brian will serve with you. I feel that this is a very dangerous game. And the reason i'm saying. That is because the raiders could come in with a very bad team. We've seen it in two thousand nine with prescribed cousy. We saw in two thousand eighteen when everything broke down and everything went wrong. Josh dobbs was in there the broken x ray machines. Ray machine gained chris. Boswell falling down where we lost that game sitting next to how you know what not invited anymore after tonight. We're allowed to fight a lot of talent. when you're being poopie head. I mean yeah but you know it's dangerous now. I remember week to in two thousand to one brian. Anthony davis did not know that he was sitting among greatness when he was there. Because one tony jeff was in the house too and the steelers were supposed to roll in that game. And the raiders. Silly things happened in that game too. It always seems like silly things happen. Then lynn swann. Blew me off in the concourse and i swore i would never vote for him again and i didn't so i cursed him in the few thousand four election but with that being said this is a team that just played the baltimore ravens and we were rooting hard for this team the other night and they had no business winning that game two or three times they had they screwed up and they kept on getting second chances in that game i stayed up for the entire thing and when you come away with a victory like that one of two things happen you wanna to get cocky or to. You're like wait a second we can do this. And it's not the cockiness. It's the fact that you're out there and youth you you get that mojo and you feel like you're going to be able to do so much more. They have some stars on that team. That i think are really tough. One on defense one on offense and they. You cannot overlook this team. So don't get cocky steelers after that week one win when you were not exactly stellar okay. So you found my camp Dave are you in the jeff hartmann. Be careful in this game or you in the michael back. This game is going to be pretty easy. I am definitely more in the jeff. Hartmann camp I guess the best way to say it is. I probably had more confidence in the steelers with this game before last week. If you know what. I mean because now it almost seems like the expectations are so much more and it doesn't mean that the steelers do it. Because i'm going to say it all the time. The i feel the steelers can absolutely win every game but i also see where they could absolutely lose it as well when you look at it game by game. There's a reason you can see it as you go. And and sorry. Love michael beck but if you remember last year he was convinced way. Steelers could come up anywhere short of the afc jp agip game and we all know how that played out. That's what happens when you're so certain that a team was going to do well but it doesn't matter how certain we are. What we don't want is the steelers feeling that way yet. I mean this team and really. I'd not every can say they can win every single game. Play the steelers. I believe are in that category. Every team can lose every game as well. I mean you turn the ball over and some. We'll get to that. We're going to get what i want to talk about today. Though in this podcast least for the first half is think back to last week. Who are some players. That did not play bless. Just say up to your standard and need to improve their game in some way shape or form. This is completely subjective. You can pick whoever you like and you give your own justification. That's your list. It doesn't matt. So dave always pooh-poohed gona brian. i. I'm gonna go to dave. I civil making equities important dave. Gimme a player that you feel like needs to play better this sunday at hinds you okay. Well i'm gonna. I'm not gonna give dave answer. I'm just gonna kinda change up. How i'm looking at it because you know i'm a numbers guy. I'm not saying i'm not saying that. This player didn't play well. But i would like to see based on opportunity and everything else i would like to see more numbers from najji harris. I would like to see you know more yards more. We're not going to say anymore. A greater number and percentage of offensive snaps. Because you can't you can't top. That would because he was out there every snap. But i'm just saying even overall yards like make those connections on the short passes to where he can. He can get some yards in in the passing game as well. I'm not saying that. i think that. Oh he didn't do. You didn't step up. And i'm not saying that i'm saying just like to see more of a numbers production Based on the offensive game plan. Yeah for sure. I could see that. Yeah absolutely absolutely brian What do you think he's a player that you want to see a little bit better this..

"All right pittsburgh fans welcome back to the second part of the steelers preview podcasts. I'm jeff hartmann along with brian. Anthony davis dave scofield. And we're here to talk about some news. I want to ask you about the injury. That brian part one eric. Hebron hamstring didn't practice thursday. Dave what do you think about e brown. And what does this mean for the steelers offense. This sunday well jeff. I'm going to say that. I really wish i would have had more time because it was an interesting question that i wanted to to answer and that was. How often did ibran get a day off during the week last year and it wasn't always wednesday. That's by only saving grace to this right now. Is that perhaps. This was just kind of his. They couldn't exact you can't give them a day off if they have any kind of injury you know you have to then just yet the report the injury if they are not practicing So i'm hoping maybe that's it and we'll turn around and see him full tomorrow but if not i think you're gonna see a practice squad call up for the week for the weekend. What about you brian. You concerned about this hamstring injury. Hebron they had them out of practice thursday absolutely because he's a very important piece of the puzzle. I know everybody's down on him. Because of the seven drops last year he had one of the preseason as well but he makes those plays that. Make you forget about them as well. He's a very important part of the puzzle and we are seeing something that we forecasted. And we're we saw in the first game with a number of targets and the number of different targets that ben roethlisberger sable throw to last week that becomes so integral to the success of this offense. If ben's gonna get time he's gonna kill you one way or the other in eric brown needs to be in there to be a huge weapon. You need to kill teams with eric..

"From silver black pride. I'm here with my friend. Jeff hartmann from behind the steel curtain to give you guys. A little preview of the raiders. Steelers game on sunday now as a reminder. We're still doing our behind enemy lines or five questions with the opponent articles. So there's anything jeff and i don't cover on here. We'll cover on the written side of things later week anyways. Jeff thank you for coming on man. How are you doing. I'm doing great. Is there a more traditional or classic. Matchup than raiders steelers. I mean it doesn't get much better than that when he talk about traditional matchups. I know we're going back to what like the the beginning of the nfl days right. Pretty much from the get go. The raiders in steelers have been rivals and whatnot that numerous times boy us. Oh absolutely the originally see and others playoff matchups and accusations of icing the field in the immaculate reception then even bleeds into modern day where the raiders have have the steelers number in oakland at the time. Terrell pryor beating the steelers. I mean just these weird games. The the rivalry still exists in my opinion. Oh yeah for sure. I mean it is a i hate using the cliche because it is such a cliche now. The they'll throughout the record books when these two teams play each other. Right like doesn't really matter. I remember the last one of the. I guess it was on the last game. I went to but In two thousand nineteen or eighteen when they play the raiders. Were terrible the steelers would go on to be a playoff team of big. Ben got hurt in the whole broken x ray machine in the. Yeah you know. Like i said the raiders were foreign twelve team in one of those wins against the steelers so always a fun match up. Yeah and even in pittsburgh the bruce gronkowski game where i believe. He led the raiders to victory heinz field. That's where they're playing this week in week. two. I'm excited to talk about it. Let's get to it l. Let's get started kind of looking at the big picture now. We had the philosophies of preseason regular season game were steelers even one. How are you feeling about in this year. You kinda still expecting the steelers to to win the afc north and be a super bowl contender. I did predict the steelers to be a double digit win team. I'm not sure if that's going to be good enough to win. The afc north. I am someone that thanks to the. Afc north is one of if not the best divisional football those will compare say the nfc west is a is comparable but For me the steelers are still a mystery in a lot of ways especially on offense the watch the game against buffalo. In week one yes. It's it's on the road. It's a tough place to play buffalo's a very good team But boy the offense was non existent for tuten for the first half. The steelers needs some consistency than e consistency. Running the ball. They couldn't do that in buffalo for a lot of reasons. Rothlisberger was rusty to start. I don't know how much that we chalk up to week. One just being week one and people still getting league knocking the rust off on and how much we say is is there cause for concern. So there's a lot of questions still with the steelers. Fan base is super pumped. They won that we going game. I have some. I definitely have my reservations heading into week two. I think the raiders are going to be a lot tougher than people think. And we'll see what the steelers are made of. I mean you hit the nail. Right on the raiders. Being tough route than people realize. I don't know a whole lot of people i know. It wasn't like a clean slate of picking the ravens last night or a monday night. But i mean let's be on the railroad came into that game as underdogs. And i think they impress a lotta people but i do have to ask you before we move onto getting into more specific the steelers. Are you worried about the browns and the ravens at all or i guess more specifically are you worried about the browns. Because obviously they're kind of up and coming team yet. The browns mean. I did get to watch the browns chiefs game in week. One Definitely a much improved roster. They're doing it the right way. Finally and it only took them two decades. But they're finally doing it the right way. They're making good decisions. It seems like they have a good coach. In stefanski in the ravens are still in. They're always going to be a concern. They're just radished with injuries. It's insane i think. They lost another offensive lineman on monday night football to a knee injury. He was placed on injured reserve today. I mean they're kicking the tires on lady on bell and a couple other running backs. It's insane injuries. They've sustained but they still have a really talented roster and you saw that on monday night football. They didn't win the game but they have a ton of potential. There is no easy win. Even when you throw in cincinnati in my opinion with job row and that young roster they have a lot of exciting players there The afc north is going to be very difficult. Like i said. I'm not predicting the steelers to win the division i think they're going to be competitive but It's tough to win. That division will put it that way. Yeah i mean no doubt no doubt so. I want to start off talking about ben rothlisberger. There is no doubt. It wasn't the same player last year especially down the stretch of the season. I think you talked about it a little bit at the topic of what we're talking about on the show. I'm curious do you think is age and the injuries are starting to catch up with them. Or are you confident he'll be able to bounce back either way kind of what makes you think that why it's interesting. It depends on. He talked to last season. Obviously he's coming off that reconstructive elbow surgery which he had in two thousand nineteen. No one knew what his arm strength is going to be. I don't think that was injury that that really ham. Hamstrung him so to speak it was i think he had knee injuries. I think he had some injuries to lower body that were causing him to have to really throw with all arms. And that's anyone that knows the mechanics throwing any object. That's a big ask of someone that's been doing it for as long as ben. Rothlisberger has I think that he is healthy. Coming into this season can he stay healthy behind that offense of line. That's a big question mark. Does he have the skills to still win games. Absolutely i think he still has the escape ability in the pocket. He's never been a guy. That's going to run. Like josh allen does or patrick mahomes does or even a derek carr does. He's a guy that is going to want to be in the pocket..

"All of training camp Last season was very. He had kinda hit or miss. You know you have some good games Early on in the season and the steelers kind of abandoned the wrong altogether but he hasn't been available this other training camp. You know they always say your best abilities your availability and he hasn't had that and so when you think about nausea harris and the way that mike tomlin and his offense is like us the running back he wanted to get all the carries until he literally need a break and so far in training camp. It's been anthony mcfarland second-year back to maryland. It's been getting the carry And then you had thrown kaelin balaj. Who's kind of a journeyman. Now is breaking several. Nfl team. he has been playing well. He's been getting rave reviews. Mike tomlin. i'm not sure. How many running backs. They're willing to keep it right now. Then he smells the odd man out into people wanna talk about you know projected yard i. I wouldn't expect much from benny's now if he makes it interesting. Jeff hartmann upon the cart and joining us here on pushing the odds so when you look at the defense obviously tj. Watts had just an incredible star to his nfl career. But who else has flashed here in training. Camp defensively pittsburgh. Well i mean. I think if you're looking at outside linebacker dalek. Highsmith your Last season he came in and looked good spelling depre- end or what he can rush from both sides and now this year everyone expected that big sophomore jump. And that's exactly what he has provided us for now granted. It's a small sample size and it's a preseason but in my opinion you can glean something from the preseason regards to you are dominant. Even if you're going up against the backup you're gonna make them look silly and that's exactly what he's done i think he's going to be an impact player. Everyone thinks you know was out free. How's that going to impact tj wide. I think. Alex is an melvin ingram. Let's not forget about him. He's healthy and looks really good. they're going to be able to counteract you know in in kind of place but the as a combination. I think the pass rush russia's still going to be unbelievable you you figure to it'll be back hayward Lulu upfront you. Throw in devon. Bush is going to be back at inside linebacker. They pick up. Joe schober the secondary look solid outside of the fact that you know steven delton spot is going to be vacated it. They're not sure what they're gonna do their In my hilton spot those spot. They're still in the secondary kind of up for grabs other than that. I think the defense could be better than last year. What concerns you on this roster. What part other than the offensive line is there. Another area that you're concerned about for the steelers. Yeah it's dead opposite corner of joe haden we know. Joe haden is joe haden and opposite him. You have to ask yourself. Who's gonna take that steven nelson role so they signed cam sutton to a two year contract this all season. They like what he brings extremely versatile former dime backer in south packages and now. They're not sure he's going to be the outside. Is he going to move in to the interior for the dime like he typically has. Who's gonna fill a nickel spot like the cornerback position. on i it's it's just a glaring concern right now on the defensive side of the ball i again. It's not so much that i think it's going to be a weakness or an achilles heel for dealers it's just it's just not decided yet and it's going to be one of those camp out. It's gonna go all the way through friday night when they go to carolina. Jeff you mentioned carolina on friday. The steelers are one of the two and the cowboys who will play the traditional or old traditional four preseason games this is number four for them on friday. Any idea what the plan is going to be. They're gonna play anybody of note on friday. I wouldn't be shocked if players like on the offensive line gets more repetitions together Someone exact enter that. I mentioned only played twelfth now in week. Three for the steelers. It's only week to the nfl. Preseason he played twelve snaps. Before coming out i would imagine they want to at least get him a couple here a couple of tries to get him reactivated But other than that. I wouldn't expect to see ben rothlisberger. I wouldn't expect to see a joe haden cam hayward and if it's patrick some of the other ones that have been given off the first two preseason games. I wouldn't expect it mike. Tomlin has been very mum on this. He's not willing to say then is going to be out or ben is going to play. He's he's always saying we're just gonna take a day at a time. You know the coach. So i'm not sure what's going to happen. I wouldn't bank on any starters playing if they do for very long friday night. Jeff the steelers have their bye week seven. Those first six games for the pittsburgh steelers one. How do you feel about in to. What's a realistic number of wins for pittsburgh in the first six with the first day everyone talks about the way this season end. I'm a feeler scheduled rightfully so it's kind of like a murderer fail to me. That just makes the first x that that much more important They have to play the six games. Well i would say that. They have to be foreign to at worst in my opinion after his first six. And that's not easy. It's a tough schedule this year. it it can be four and two at the by fans should be happy and then they should be ready to go for post by But then again steeler fans and he talked to bring off the bye at all. They're gonna talk about twenty twenty and other by got all screwed up because of the titans and they're gonna say well who goes of the by. We'll be so that's true too. But ultimately i think that foreign to three and three would be tough to come back from But you know what it you just never know. I mean i always point to last season with the dallas cowboys. That game in dallas is really going to be you know dak prescott versus dan rothlisburger. Well we know what happens with daqing completely changes so Looking at the schedule. I think that i have to take advantage of it. Baltimore minnesota tennessee. Kansas city cleveland. Baltimore is the last six that you're referencing. That's going to be really really hard if you go. Four and two at the top. How do they end the year in those final six games. Well the way that they've been ending seasons under the mike tomlin regime will ask teams and especially the way twenty twenty ended if they could just be five hundred zero six. I think that most dealers. And let's say you have that i like it. We'll take it and hopefully the rest of the season one good enough. But that's good enough for a playoff spot You know if you get better than five hundred. I think you're your clicking your heels and you're extremely happy but we all understand that fans and it's not going to be easy. That is a really really tough row. To hoe civil. It'd be interesting to see how that plays out. Jeff great stuff. They've coming on really appreciate your time..

"I said all right. i'm gonna just go back to sleep. And then i hear this more russell and right behind my tent like yeah. I don't know what that is but light on. Let's start doing some beat. Ese works educations up for well. I i don't wanna get devoured by a bear. That's that's always good. You know. I mean i can see that show though i can see jeff hartmann dave scofield talking about how i was devoured by bear memorial would still get three thumbs down and you know how sports fans are. They would say any word. And who's gonna replace brian. I the very first question wouldn't be about. Oh gosh devoured by a bear so so let's start this up. Pittsburgh steelers fans welcome back to the hangover. Brian anthony davis alongside me shannon white and. Tony is so great to be back. I missed nation. I missed hashtag bad company. I missed all of you. And i'm so glad to be here and all this stuff happened when i was gone. Vidi vici retires. I'm going. I'm in the woods going who what's going on next thing. You know. melvin ingram. Show next thing you know. We're hearing that steven nelson might come back. Stephen nelson's not coming back steven nelson says. Hey you're all lying. I'm never coming back so it was a lots of stuff happened. You guys did a great job. I had a chance to listen to the show Good job on the quota. Saying my name that many times i appreciate it in fact you guys can keep your podcast jobs. So we're we're in good shape but yeah so no. I am absolutely. I'm thrilled to be back. I'm thrilled the tony is alive. Because there were some reports of his demise. And i was really worried about that as well. So we know that he's okay and shannon. You look better than ever man. Oh thank you look at shannon being the corner square on on hollywood squares up there that ethanol privileged quarterback position. Look at that so all plays to be in place now. I've got a main regret though. Something happened last week that i wasn't here for and it's killing me and i'm going to apologize. Happy birthday felicia. I know it's it's a week late but happy birthday triumphs. I'm so sorry. I missed that but you know. Hey it is great to be back here. And let's get into it. Pittsburgh steelers training camp fellas. What are you thinking of so far but still you shannon white. Just super excited again. You know football pants. I mean without paying you know insurance but everybody seems to be really happy focused Already and and you know knock on wood. No may have reported injuries yet. So i'm happy tony. Defa what you see an out of the south side and now going into heinz field. I just continue to be impressed. By the reports of shannon said about the focus and how player like nike harris is he. He can't get enough work he just can't he can't do enough and like we said. In the summer they have or earlier in the time to go home and report. You're hearing about pat fryer muse and even even antoine brooks. I wasn't expecting here. Why hear anything from him. And now you're talking. You're hearing reports of how he's doing decent in the slot and there's a player that maybe not a lot of people thought about as a candidate for that position so i mean i'm just excited about about the young guys because they're going to need to depend on a lot of young guys this year. So that's something we are going to be talking about in the show. So let's save. Some antoine brooks talked for a little bit later because he is definitely going to come up on this show and we are going to talk about on this show players that are shining already that you didn't expect to those guys. Some of the making their jumped from the big jump from year one to year two players that also that we're looking for to really show up we're gonna talk about players that showed up so far i'm gonna talk about one that showed up in a much different way and someone that keeps showing up in this same way. It is first of all dan moore junior on saturday to fights in a row to place fights one with isaiah bugs one with cam hayward you a lot of times that is that's an earning respect factor and guys like cam or pushing a rookie to see how far they'll go so that's not anything to worry about but you also wonder with isaiah bugs. Somebody made a mention today is why is this guy. Always get into fights. What's up with isaiah butts right tony. I think it's a good sign. It goes back hearkens back to what they were talking about in the spring during the draft or after the draft or how they were trying to find more aggression among the offensive lineman last year with thoughts. Of course we heard that. We've heard that about kendrick green and now dan moore who you know who's apparently really aggressive in ornery and trying to make name firms of my question is i didn't think they were allowed to even really scrimmage scrimmage pad so it's impressive that they're getting into fights without without pads that tells me that he must really want it shannon. Does that mean that he really wants it. Does that mean that he is so fired up in ready to go. Does that mean that. He's being tested by the veterans. What does that mean with dan more. Oh definitely he adrian. Klemm ovid's vlad coach. He screamed all these guys before the draft to talk to him. And and i guarantee you. He stressed that this is the direction we're going and we're going to be mean. We're going to be nasty. We're going to be physical and he said earlier. You know if you if you ain't gonna bring it here but it's going to be on the bench and i think that more took that to heart. He's in there and so naturally the veterans are going to try to test him a little bit and you know these happens in the hot sun i turn and the you know these high temperatures. You know the blood ball's a little bit and temperatures flair and it's a great thing i said i'd much rather have to tell it. Take it down a notch kicking him into but to get him to you know. Play harder and show more effort. So i think it's a great sign. I think it shows a lot about adrian klemm and you mentioned him shannon adrian..

"Then what they did the next week which was back to their typical starting lineup. So i will tell you this. Kevin dotson when he was in the lineup. You were looking at the steelers going over twenty points and the only game. The steelers lost with dotson in the lineup was week seventeen. So that's one thing to take from it and you're like oh yeah three one. That was weak. Seventeen numbers without ben rothlisberger and a lot of people still feel that the steelers wouldn't arrested everybody. They might have been facing a different opponent in the playoffs. Hindsight we know what it is. So that's something to think about with dotson coming back. It's really hard to judge a lot of stuff here with like big our troops because they basically played the whole time. So this was more looking at. I don't like to pick on the guy. But the steelers definitely had problems and ben rothlisberger felt like you had to throw the ball much faster when jc neighbor was in the lineup. So this offensive line for twenty twenty. One is going to really be the key. It's what is really going to come down to on this offense because one my last my last prediction for the steelers thirty predictions or thirty scenarios in thirty days on that myself a jeff hartmann did for the website. The last one i did was if ben rothlisberger has time. He's going to. He's going to push the ball deep down the field if the offensive line can give ben time. He's gonna throw it so my point. Is this week. When ben rothlisberger didn't play in twenty nineteen. We saw the throw everything short to throw everything. Short offense that the former offensive coordinator wanted to run without ben. Then then bends back and you've got a coordinated just wants to dump everything short then you have an offensive line at that late in the season was not protecting enough to give him time to throw of course is going to throw it short and now everyone wants to jump on the bandwagon of ben rothlisberger. He can't throw the ball deep. Oh okay you can say if you wanna say doesn't throw it you can't throw it well or doesn't do it. Well i'll take that argument. Say he can't do it. It's not factual. I mean all you have to do is look at the second half of that indie game and watching him throwing the ball down the field because he had time so it's not that he can't and i'm not saying he did a fantastic job of it but also when you're not having the most confidence in your line we can see that and then with no running game and everything to support it so who. There's a lots to take in with this. But i wanted to break it down. He had an idea of where things kind of started to fall apart with the steelers and how things were working with the offensive line and whether or not it was exactly what the problem was or not. I think it was a big combination of things. So i don't want to just lay it on one thing but if you wanted to look at this to see what part it played there. It was so i always to say this. I've got a. I've got a question. I got an answer for next week. I just wasn't able to get all the answer to it in time for this week. Show that that. I really am looking forward to answering next week. But i'm always looking for questions at st are superfan data on twitter or st l. Are superfan dead at gmail.com on the email side of things you can send me an email or message on twitter anytime asking stats question that i use on the show. Sometimes people just ask a question just to ask it to get it answered right then and i like to do that as much as i can. So makes you check it out all the audio podcasts. All hit the live shows. That's fantastic as well. That are on youtube and facebook every day. Additionally make sure you're checking out.

"We are back to fans. Get thank jerry cherry for the music. We really appreciate that that. We're able to us here on our podcast behind the curtain to make sure that you are checking out as many podcasts as you can we are bringing all kinds of you and when we're starting to implement some more as training camp gets going we're adding some some new podcast. They were outlined. That was last friday brian. Anthony davis was on with jeff hartmann on last. Friday's let's ride. They laid out. What's not going to be throwing so much more content. We're trying to bring something different with all of our shows. So that's that's the goal. And i it's funny because then it makes me sit back and think what what am i bringing. It's different with with my shows. Well you've got stabbed gigs. That kind of speaks for itself. We do a lot of numbers and we'll try to break things down there on for those of you. That have ever listened to me on on the scarborough. Show that i do with my brother. That's really a family show. It's about you know kind of being family how you would be with your family steeler fans things like that not that we talk about that but it's kind of the way that we run stuff and then i always have a blast on thursday nights doing a steelers preview with jeff hartmann. Brian anthony davis. That's just kind of like our flagship. Podcast of various things that we do. And of course during the season where we're previewing the upcoming najib so make sure you keep an eye out for these new podcast that we have coming out. I'm kind of excited to check them all out myself. So let's get back into our numbers we were looking at saks pressures hurries knockdowns blitz rate. All those things dealing with putting pressure on the quarterback by the defense we broke down the twenty twenty numbers the steelers. When it came to to blitzing they had the the third highest blitzing percentage. They're one of the one of three teams over forty percent. I did forget to say that. It didn't mean that they had they were that high with the actual blitzes that they did 'cause when it came to actual blitzes. They were seven because there were other teams. That were ahead of them But worked considered to have as many. Well they didn't see as many badging attempts. The steelers did some of these other teams like for example. The seattle seahawks. I'll just pull out a random one. They actually blitzed nine times more on the season. Nine times more on the season then the steelers did but they were a much lower percentage because they saw six hundred seventy four passing attempts where the steelers always saw five hundred twenty. Six passing attempts is. What is what we're looking at their. So that's kind of how those numbers go. But for the blitz percentage the steelers were third when it came to hurries and hurry percentage and steelers were second in the league when it came to quarterback knockdowns knocked down percentage. They were first in the nfl. They were first in sacks in the nfl and they were. I buy a ton when it came to pressure pressure rate. You know pressure percentage. So that's what they didn't twenty twenty. If you want to look back the twenty nineteen the steelers did not blitz nearly as much as they did in twenty twenty because in twenty twenty the steelers blitz two hundred and forty four times for a forty point. Three percentage in twenty nineteen they blitz two hundred eighteen times for a thirty six point. Nine percentage that percentage was significantly lower. That was seventh in the nfl seventh. Most and what's crazy is is the baltimore ravens they blitz three hundred twenty nine times in two thousand nineteen three three twenty nine. That's i mean that's more than they did in two thousand twenty or two ninety twenty twenty but that three twenty nine fifty four point nine percent blitz rate my goodness. That's an awful lot of blitzing and once again. It did not pay off hugely in the sack department. They were middle of the league when it came to sacks with thirty cents actually they were passed the league with thirty seven sacks so they're not as efficient with finishing off the quarterback as the steelers were but once again the steelers in two thousand hundred and twenty nineteen was much like twenty twenty. They lead the nfl in in pressures imprint. Pressure percentage not wasn't as much as twenty twenty They had one hundred eighty pressures for thirty point five percent and they were. The only team was over thirty percent but remember last year. They were thirty five percent. Thirty five point one so that was good in two thousand nine hundred and got even better in twenty twenty so they led the league in sacks the led the league and pressures when it came to hurries. They were they were top. They had seventy hurries. Which was very similar. You know a little bit less than that and twenty twenty. They had seventy seven. Hurries an ed. So in twenty twenty there were seventy seven hurries. Twelve point seven percent in twenty nineteen. They were seventy hurries. Eleven point eight percent so not not as much before but they were still getting the pressure and they were still getting the sax when you look at quarterback knockdowns. They were fourth in the nfl with fifty six and And a percentage of ten point nine percent which was actually second in the in the league by point one percent so there were still doing very well in the knockdown category in two thousand nineteen where they had fifty six..

"Don't worry about it. I bring it up every single time. I'm dave scofield are statman extraordinaire how did end up with the highest grade on offense according to p._f. Logan de lorenzo answers that with p._f. Is a choke. I look i i have a. I have no idea on that but what b._f._f. Not best friends forever but brian football focus says that your mason rudolph was the showstopper. The other night in devon hodges your number two <hes> so let's go with b._f._f. On that one let's say deontay johnson might take eli switz- spa looked johnson has a job on yeah. Everyone seems to love <hes> spencer tony. Here's a question for you and this is a tough one. Jeremiah young wants to know. Who do you think the steelers new receiver coach will be. I'm gonna i'm gonna say <hes> <hes> <hes> last week. I thought maybe they would <hes> have have fichtner filled the role for the entire year like that. You're doing with keith butler but as jeff hartmann said he's already still to quarterbacks coach so i'm thinking they're gonna they're gonna go out and and the reason why they've delayed. It is trying to <hes> finalize things with with the <hes> the former coach <hes> man. The guy retired two. My gut tells me they're gonna. They're gonna bring him back. At least for one year. Serve a sort of a transitional thing until they you know that was a big shock for everybody and now they're trying to you. You know. Get your ducks in a row so i think they're going to bring in a guy who who knows the players know who's done it with them before so he's probably gonna be richer man. You know what that's a possibility and look you still have a. I don't think he'd do anything major this year. At this point you raise sherman in helping out which he was helping out beforehand. I don't expect one to be named at this point. I just i just kind of expect expect them to go ahead and maybe have some of these veteran coaches help out unnamed that i heard of a very interesting name that i heard of. I think he's employed though the assistant receivers coach for the carolina panthers is the guy we all know jericho khatri <hes> <hes> but i think they address that in twenty twenty really i it a this is. This is a committee bad. You think spence resor returner ask captain underpants. You know what i i really think spencer's return man. He returns punts. He returns kicks. I think another guy you have the team is johnny holton. I actually think johnny houghton has a chance to make the team because he's your d- h._p. Type just like they use stories hayward bay. Here's an interesting thing popping up on live chat. What about krief so dante moncrieff on crete was brought in to be the number two thomas white says steelers don't rank wide receivers krief in washington will likely be at the same position in a rotation. They very very well could be. I mean you could just see guys on the field all the time <hes> and that's pretty much what you see and it could be those three with the other guys. It's like a like a <hes> dante johnson who had who had a nice game settled down after that muffed punt so there's there's this. They've got a wealth at wide receiver. That crazy being wants. No should dirty red make the team cash. That's tough off. He's playing like a guy that should make the team right now. <hes> there's really no. I mean it's hard to it's hard hard to get rid of a guy like that with the preseason that he's had through two games. Ryan kellerman says nobody would trade for eli. You know what i mean. People throw stuff around. Pick around for anybody but i think a lot of teams will just wait agency who gets cut..

"And if I sound his frustrated, I'm hoping that the organization is five thousand or I should say six thousand times more frustrated than I am watching a number AFC team, a clips you and now there's an argument of who's the greatest franchise history is at the Steelers is at the patriots Lil bra has now become big bra big bro beat up little bra every ear. Bit Brugh a little back. Bit bre beat up little brussel more big brother star Eytan it's carrots in his vegetables. And it's mashed potatoes and his liver and his gravy big little brust arcane, bigger big brust outgrown little Brooke bigger, and now in two thousand nineteen all of a sudden Lil bre is looking big, bro. Right now is saying I got six two in race two seven his own. In like, my great co host Jeff Hartmann said on the burning question when he asked the question who's going to read seven quicker, the patriots or the Steelers yawn Noda Asir why? Because the Pittsburgh Steelers are stuck in this way. Whenever this way is. Whatever the way is that they think it is day better figure out a different way. 'cause that animal up north in Boston in Foxborough. Don't give they try to get the seven in that goat quarterback up there that six rounder from the university of Michigan and saying f yo count Steelers Lil Brazilian building 'bout down we found to get seven and we out ahead of most Super Bowls. So wouldn't Steeler nation going to do? And that's why was hoping that the patch won their sixth that maybe it'll motivate this franchise to start doing stuff differently. Maybe it'll make this franchise move up in the first round and get a ball player that actually make them win a championship. And let me tease my next episode of. Yeah. Said it maybe they do. Controversial and go out and get a running back out there a little bit issues in a hotel that if you them with the Terminator the Steelers would have the best backfield in the AFC, maybe the Steelers need to do something different. Maybe get rid of that coach at obviously can't win challenges. Whatever it is the Steelers need to figure it out. Because obviously what they're doing right now. It ain't good enough. Day need to do with that team is doing up north in that's winning championships in kicking your fanny and your tail each and every season. I don't believe in moral victories.

"Lance Williams. Wanna give a big shout to my co host Jeff Hartmann? We do the show the standard is to standard. Jeff also does a fantastic show called the Steelers burning question also gonna give a big shot out to all the other fellow podcasters at BTC also big up to all the writers at behind steel curtain dot com. As you all know. Yeah, I said it is a controversial show. I try to say the things that Steeler fan is afraid to say the key. I try to be the conscious of Steeler fan. I know you guys don't like what I say. Because it's controversial I'm, but I want to push the envelope. And I wanna push the Steelers in my own particular way. Maybe I could fire up the fan base to fan base. Get excited we can get this organization to start moving and this persona of. Yeah. I said it. It's gonna hurt me to say this. But yeah, I said it I was rooting for the patriots to win their six Super Bowl and at the time of this recording. The patriots have joined the Pittsburgh Steelers in club safes and they have won their sixth Super Bowl with a thirteen to three win over the loss Angeles Rams. Watching the patriots win another championship. And tying my beloved Steelers. Was about as irritating as that piece of meat that gets stuck in between your teeth, and you can't find any floss it just frigging irritates you all day and watching Tom Brady play average football and watching Jared Goff Callum play horrible football in the patriots win six championship scoring thirteen. Fricking points was terrible. But I was actually rooting for them to win. You guys might ask. Why was I routing for the patriots to win a six Super Bowl championship? And I call myself a Steeler fan, and I'm from the north side of Pittsburgh, and I'm from the same community of the Rooney family and that my grandfather knew the chief and gamble with the chief in. New the chief. Well, that's how far my roots. Go back that long law long family friend got rested, dead building on junior was best friends with art Rooney the second. That's how far my Steeler roots. Go it's rooted in my DNA. But at the same time. I was happy to see the patriots get to six because the Steelers are standing still. And if they don't wake up anytime soon. That monster up north that it seems like they've gone twenty straight AFC championships. Brady's wants six Super Bowls. If there's any question if he's been go quarterback, there should be none. The guy wants six Super Bowls. They into a kazillion AFC championships. They've been to eleven Super Bowls. It seems like they went fifteen games twenty games a season every single season. It's patriots over and over and over and over again, they accomplish what the Steelers took it since nineteen thirty three since two to thousands. This is a dynasty that. We may never see again, if this does not motivate the Pittsburgh Steelers to possibly try to do an eight different way. I don't know. What will I'm tired of seeing bad challenge? Ages. I'm tired of seeing the Steelers lose to inferior teams. I'm tired of the drama. I'm tired of AB. Obviously, obviously tired of obviously. I'm tired of lady on bail. I'm tired of all the shenanigans. And I'm tired of watching the patriots win every single season. Even in a year where two Steelers finally beat the patriots. It still doesn't matter. It seems like this franchise always one ups the Steelers this is frustrating..

"The feature back in the Nova's here, the feature back was the fullback. So I think he might have had his best best years under under you know, when when Kerr came along the fullback turn is more of a blocking back, so maybe maybe the eighties. Factor. Fixing Rosie nix was not a great fullback at Kent state. Jeez. In fact. Right. Why? He was a linebacker at Kent state. There you go. There's not a lot of people realize that for and and they put him on special teams and fullback, I think that's amazing the guy kinds pretty good hands too. I mean, I really wish he would have just got that extra couple of inches against do Orleans before he celebrated but. My kid autumn. I think I think he's a fantastic player. But let's go ahead and talk more about the Pro Bowl. And we're about the Steelers involvement in the Pro Bowl at this point. You know? We we had two all star games over the weekend in the steel city. So you're looking at a hockey game. And you're looking at a football game. Now both are dangerous. Well, we feel so much better. When Sidney Crosby is and he could get hurt in an all star game. We feel so much better about him playing then your stars playing in a meeting meaningless tackle football game. So which one do you? I'm not even a factor. Fixing this which one is more dangerous. You think though, I you know, what I might be off base here. Doni? What's more dangerous? They hockey all star game. It has to be football because they're just so many ways that that that player get rolling into or. It's a it's a weird sport where you have twenty two guys or twenty one if you don't count the quarterback just converging on every play and anything can happen anytime. And I think that's why you have the the the such such a a lack of tackling now in pro I think I think it's definitely it's always gonna be football. 'cause even even the surface can take a player out without anybody hitting them. Very earthy. I I guess I would go ahead and agree with that. So let's talk about you. You know, he was fine is what they're saying. They're saying you're good news on his injury that it's not that big of a deal. What so ever Jeff Hartmann were in his article today, he mentioned that you know, he left the game of the leg injury. But he's reportedly. Okay. I mean variously at this point with the Antonio Brown drama juju factor fixing. Is probably the most important. Option on offense other than Ben Rothlisberger. So is that factor fiction? Oh, that's a fact I mean without an Tonio. I mean, what did what did you do you have one hundred catches guy? I know he had over a thousand yards. He definitely made the Pro Bowl. So he's he's definitely the number one receiver AB doesn't come back next year. So he's he in without Levy on bell. He's absolutely number one target number one option on offense. Yeah. He's definitely the most important. So with that being said, you know, is it worth it for these guys to even go to that game anymore? What are I mean? What is anybody getting out of this game? The ratings are good. You know, really at this point, Tony if you asked me, this is they should go down there for skills competitions. And auto graph sessions, and you give him a handsome bonus for making it. But that's about it. I mean, I have a buddy that he used to live in Hawaii for a little bit. And he would go to the game. He with the first year couldn't wait to go. The next couple years. He just went to fan fast and didn't even go to the game. He said that the game was just through to watch their. I mean, we watch it on. I I watch it almost every year on TV. I did not put it on yesterday. Like, I said, I watched the Royal rumble, which is at this point less scripted that the AFC and NFC championship. But you know, I'm I'm just thinking that. You know, you can lose your entire two thousand nineteen season. If you goes down, you just confirmed it I mean, it's just. That is. Remember, we had Sean Taylor. It was a buffalo punter. I don't know with Brian Mormon. This is about shortly before. He was Sante tragically killed, but he just completely ramped up this punter for the..

"In Steeler football. It's the best fan site on the web big up to my co host on the standard is the standard. Jeff Hartmann in Jeff always gets on me because Jeff is joy. And I'm I guess the opposite of joy sad. You know, we're joy in paying pretty much sunshine. Rain, you guys know the song the anyway, if you don't notice on go to streaming service, whatever it is and look up joint pain Frankie anyway on this week's episode, and I may have teased it on last week's episode, but but let me. To say this real quick because Jeff gets on me. Sometimes I say, yeah. I said that but the name of this show is a fishery year, I said it and so even in the beginning of the show. I might have said, yeah, I said that. But if you know black folk, and you know, how we talk, and you know, our lexicon. And you know, all that, you know, sometimes me not saying for all black folks, I get into my bag, and sometimes that it all kinda blends. Yes, it that. Yeah. Said you know, what it is? You know, how I get down popular holiday. Boy, let's do it. But on this particular episode. Yeah, I said it. The Pittsburgh press is afraid to criticize Ben Rothlisberger. Couple of weeks ago. Jerry, dude, lock esteemed writer for the Pittsburgh post gazette. He and Ed bouchette are the most senior writers who cover the Pittsburgh Steelers for the post gazette. They are considered Steeler press. America's so to speak, particularly Ed bouchette because I believe Ed bouchette has a hall of fame vote. I mean, I grew up on air bouchette, you know, we just call him bouchette in Pittsburgh. That's what it is. So it was bullshit and do like dulack bouchette. So Jerry dulack opinion is very influential in Pittsburgh. And in fact, you can see where a lot of beat writers kind of take the their paces from you know, how he kind of does his thing. And I I got a bone to pick with Jerry do lock because I think the Pittsburgh press is entirely afraid to criticize Ben Rothlisberger. Gonna give you an example, Jerry gulag. Does his grades every week after every game? And he does a seasonal grade. Jerry do lock gave been rothlisburger in a grade for the season. First of all if you don't make the playoffs in Pittsburgh, the home of the six championships. You can't get an egg raid. So that's not just starts off right there. He largely gave Ben Rothlisberger in eight grade because of been being first in yards with five thousand one hundred and twenty nine and I and.

"It all that's not gonna happen to push them over the edge on a defense insider football. So you're going to have an average defense from fifteen to probably in the twenties. A defense that's going to give up twenty two twenty three points again. Game that won't be different. You take away AB? I'll guarantee you that often go for twenty seven points game to the twenty three twenty fours and a turnovers will go up been doesn't trust the running game. He's gonna put it on his shoulders, and he's going to try to prove a point. And he has offense coordinator that's gonna play Kate it and coast. It's going to placate it. Because the coach again believes in the player, but he doesn't believe in Steelers football because the quarterback does it again insanity. Doing the same thing and expecting a different result. I would not extend been in office burger, I would accept the fact that the Steelers are in a rebuild as it stands right now. I would try to get whatever I could for been Robbins burger, I would try to get whatever I could for Antonio Brown. I will rebuild this defense plate with Josh Dobbs or Mason, Rudolph take a step back and. Try to build this roster for the Steelers five the next guy. The era is over the been Rob's burger era is over the window is shut AFC championship. Your lose thirteen in three. You lose in the first round no playoffs. Imagine what it will look like if it's just big been in juju. Is that enough? I think they got some solid piece at the ring back position with Connor and Samuels. I think they need another running back as well. That ain't enough. And you talk about Ramon foster may not be back, and they have a decision that they have to make with Marcus Gilbert would his health and his contract. Rinse and repeat again insanity. Doing the same thing and expecting a different result, though football is going to look the same. The Steelers have organization have to admit to themselves that the rebuild is actually starting. But if a beat doesn't come back it's full tilt in rebuild mode. Been is not good enough to carry it. He's not going to protect the football. He's just a gunslinger as he said this year. What is going to change Thomas going to continue to make bad challenges? Tom is going to continue to have bad ink game, farts, what is going to change. How how does this look any different than what it looked like this year? The Rooney's have to take a step back. They have to be honest with themselves and say, what are we doing where we at because if you're not competing for Lombardi trophies in Pittsburgh, what is the point? I don't wear regular season hat championship divisional hats. I don't wear AFC championship hats. I don't pull out my terrible towel until us to play offs. We've done that all in Pittsburgh. It's about winning a seven Lombardi. Because if they don't get this straight. They're not gonna head almost it's going to be that team up north in Boston. It's going to be the New England Patriots. And now moving forward, you got a Lamar Jackson team in the ravens that's in the play offs Baker Mayfield so on and so forth, so listeners if I told you I could get a first and a third for been and a first and a third for AB if if that could somehow happen they better jump on that immediately because right now, they are in rents in repeat mode. They are insanity mode. They are away from Steeler football. So yeah, said it the Steelers should not extend Ben Rothlisberger. Thank you guys. Let us for job and into another episode of year. I said it not sure what the next topic is going to be please continue to support all the behind still curtain programs. Please support. The standards of standard where I host it with my colleague Jeff Hartmann. He does a fantastic job during a hot take show..

"They only league Tom Brady will be available all these options in sometimes Ben Rothlisberger is streaky player. He can be inconsistent. And we all saw that last week in the first three quarters in his career. I don't have the actual statistics to to give you at this point. But Dan, raw this burger rarely has backed back duds in even though he had the game winning comeback. Come for behind drive and got them to twenty points in that necessary to win I would still consider the game dud for. But for Ben Rothlisberger. He. He just didn't play. Well, it was ugly. I don't think he's gonna play. Well, back to that. We add these play poorly. I should say back to back weeks. I say that Ben Rothlisberger is a very solid start for you and fantasy football because what they keep in mind as well as these rushing touchdowns that he's getting any. It's it's kinda crazy. But he I think he has maybe three on the year already. That's a number that I didn't think he would reach he'd never reached that with Todd Haley. So he's just getting in the end zone. He's getting the ball in the end zone and a multitude of ways I would say start number seven this week. If you haven't as an option and out vandal, he's gonna save you some money because he's not a considered the like Patrick Mahomes type player in terms like nine thousand dollars. So there you go Brian. You know, what's funny? You know? What's funny? Jeff, though, I one I mean, I I'm bragging I'm not bragging this time around, but I won with Ben Roethlisberger last week. He actually put up twenty three some points. And it was because of those touchdown passes the long stone passes and the run like you said he actually I was trying to decide between he and Andrew luck. And at the last minute, I went to Ben basically because you said storing them last week. So I took your advice to Tom much respect your advice. But so I went ahead, and I started them, and I was Cussing you by the third quarter because I'm like I'm gonna lose my fan dole because chat, and then fed went off. Yeah. So then I was then I was wondering on my Jeff Hartmann picture running around going as genius. So. Well, I started listening. Yeah. Yeah. Yes. It listen to me. Just don't listen to you. When I talk about starting Eric Hebron. He gets zero zero points. When a punch if I I was with my punishment of face. I'd turn and run..

"It's that tire a great read and up to date one of the first site have the. Libyan bell tweet was our site and Jeff Hartmann had that on with in the minutes of that tweet. In fact, he had it on. I like seven minutes after the tweet was when it went through proof-read it when it was on right away. So we can you up to date and more and more people are finding out about behind the curtain, and you should too. Whether it's the podcast or whether it's in print, you're going to know about your Pittsburgh Steelers. And another guy wanna talk about right now is one of our hall of fame, callers, and he of course, has been waiting patiently on our phone line. And so we're going to go to enjoy the I've never done that before. I mean, I jersey people hate when they do that. But you know, love this. So I could do that right, buddy? Could evening gentlemen. Roy very friends. We know you're doing good equate Sunday. And you know, it was just I was on the Steelers website. You know, we listen to what they have to say. And we've got to give a lot of credit to this offensive owing. I mean one sec was a one sack kissed thing one sack last week against to greet defenses. I mean, would you say that the Cleveland Browns defense ranked just as highly as the ravens defense because of the pass Russian talented, Tony actually think. Yes, when I was looking at the ravens yes today. I noticed sucks loss to step. He doesn't look like he's quick as used to be or has as what's the word. I'm looking for disruptive as he once was but still got a camp for the guy. But I just think you know, what what the organizations don't over the last few years and building this front line to protect Ben is tremendous job. I mean think about it. I can't these great defense. He's having plenty of time in the pockets of the ball. They're opening polls to make a run. It's just amazing. It's just amazing. And I think we were play to away from really isolating that game early. It was a play where juju Smith Schuster was running before it caught the ball in the ball is rainy things. If catches that ball was like we proponents on the board there as well in that game easily. It could easily put over thirty points on the board. So a great victory to go in there. And do what we did a lot of the defensive Guiso a great job to like, you just mentioned Hilton admins, and depending along week after week, you know, getting pressure on the quarterback. And I think those should be taking what do you guys think? Very tight game. You know, you have a three headed monster in Cam Newton. He's a former MVP this league. This is a team that's one three straight. They are six into as well, they have a superstar in person McCaffrey and running back with who was a dual threat. He catches the ball. He rushes he's just so good. And then Greg Olson's back, and you know, how they struggle with with big good tight ends. I mean, I I'm talking travel Kelsey, he's he's in guy like that. He's getting healthy. He's he's a dangerous player as well. It's funny because this is a team that plays every year in the last preseason game. But they always the last Thursday night of the preseason the week four. But the problem is that it's mostly guys that are on the bubble that are playing in those games. But. The coaching staff lead definitely know each other. So it's almost in a way. I mean, this is gonna sound crazy. It's almost like playing division rival when you play Carolina for how. Well, they know each other even though they were in separate conferences. I just feel that this is we're last week was so important to avenge off especially in the division. This week is an important game to beat an NFC team. I mean a non conference team, but a very good team with an all around all around weapons, very good good defenses..

"I was later. Get her definitely Kerfi alley. There you go little Rebecca home right before she became Rebecca. How she's in summer. I talk about that movie all day long. And I know Jeff Hartmann and I have a we. We have a a segment on our prediction podcast. Actually, our our preview for the upcoming games. We have this. We have the segment that we're, we're talking about sports movies and which one's better, and I would love to somehow get them off course, maybe I can get this contemporary in there a surfing movie, maybe. Hey, Jeff Gump. But you know, speaking of Jeff, I wanna to bring up our editor Jeff Hartmann and Kevin were in Faneuil league, and we've talked, we've talked about how one player could make or break you and going into this game one player from the falcons. And then I listened to Jeff to always talks about chef love the handcuff. So I'm thinking, you know, he's right. I need to go ahead of handcuff after winning it in week three and placing third in week four. I went avenue and I did the handcuff, and I completely not saying that handcuffs are not good, but I was for certain Tony that we're gonna have you Matt, Ryan, and holyoke Jones. Just go off and I hardly got any points from those guys. And you know what? This is. My fantasy role. I'm glad I didn't get any point. I'll take ninth place for Steeler victory. Nine out of ten. Yeah. Take. So I was just shocked. And you know we're going to talk about about the Torian gonna talk about grades. One of my valedictorians is one that no one would have ever guessed whatsoever. And it would be Joe Haden for what he did to holyoke Jones. He just he's shut polio Jones in the first half, and Joe hated had an amazing game really set the tone for that game. You know, already burns on the other side, looked pretty good too, but let's talk about grades before we get the calls, the offense. What are you thinking about the performance of the offense? Particularly, I wanna focus on one guy who had a tale of two halves one, Benjamin rumpus burger Tony. What's your number seven play. I mean, look, it looked like in the first half and it'd be much of what we saw last week in, you know, some Sony, the second half of the buck nears game just you know off and he couldn't connect with AB and and he was, you know, he seemed like he just like there's such any through in the end zone. I that's maybe the worst passive ever seen him throw that worst decision anyway. And and he came out in the second half and he was fishing and he was he was emotional after the two touchdowns to ABC you know, all the the talk was bothering him. And if you would, if you would just tell me one staff from that game nineteen of twenty nine for two hundred fifty yards. Nothing else I would tell you that they that they won that game easily because that's, that's that's the stat of a winning quarterback right there because it's big plays probably a couple of short fields, which which is exactly what happened..
