"Book. The third i by tuesday lobsang rumba was published in nineteen fifty six it was his autobiographical account of growing up in tibet and studying tibetan buddhism very popular book tuesday lobsang rumba was not tuesday. Lobsang rumba oh it was cyril henry hoskins not a tibetan buddhist monk was a plumber from england and i really became a little bit obsessed because it was essentially a hoax but despite it being a hoax and people knowing that it's a hoax and i'm using the word hoax were maybe called something else It really doesn't stop the book from being sold. It doesn't stop it from being a book that people enjoy. Yeah it's just such an interesting cultural thing when it comes to. Especially westerners getting into buddhism Not a ton of avenues especially in the mid nineteen fifties. I mean it's not like a ton of avenues. in general. I guess i mean compared to. Maybe you know. Christianity your urging them. This book has done some good. I guess it's this story of this guy who decided essentially that that's who he was. Yeah he was this tibetan monk and people seem to be like. Hey this is how. I got into buddhism and in nineteen fifty-six what are you comparing it to exactly now you have people that are scholars of tibetan buddhism. That would read it and be like this is Something's off and it's not accurate and it doesn't sound like someone who is actually who they say they are. So it's a very kind of interesting thing like who's really harmed nobody But it's very interesting. How westerners are like a. I love buddhism. It's so great and where they're getting the information from somebody that some plumber that i think it's a thing where maybe he really did think that who he really

"Hello nine seventy three of the sleeper and the bust. It is friday august twenty seventh muros. Paul bore joined this morning by justin mason in good morning sir. Good morning you doing. I'm quite well. How about yourself doing alright was a little bit late to work today. Because they did not factor in the fact that every kid is back in school all yes all like five pictures back to school kids time today. Yeah so how to get out of my house. In the morning was a problem with like five schools. Like two mile radius of my house was. It was a little bit of rub but i made it. I'm here wow yeah yeah at least you made it all good. We got plenty of baseball talk about. So let's divan will start with our news but a couple of very big players in focus talk a little bit about their twenty twenty two outlooks than place holder. Fold and end with some waiver pickup recommendation. Let's start with some bad news. Unfortunately resource skins is going to be done for the year Shoulder should have written that down. Note abdominals and mominul syria okay. Donald tier sounds so brutal. I mean how much are you. Moving your midsection when you're doing anything so that sounds absolutely awful hoskins. Y- quietly had a pretty solid season. Two forty seven three thirty four or five thirty twenty seven homers seventy one. Maybe sixty four runs three steals chipped in talked talking about a million times this year to forty seven average is not harming you the way it has in years past the eight sixty four o. p. s. was good for a one thirty three. Wrc or opium plus. Excuse me so. he's thirty. Three percent above league average just a quality season from hoskins that now folks are going to miss a month of unfortunately bad news for phileas. Well obviously we don't talk as much about the The real life implications of things but this is a big blow for fantasy folks In the second half hoskins had a twelve ten opie s with seven homers. Does this nominal hair have any impact for you on his twenty twenty two outlook. Because he's an obvious cut of course being out for the year. So is there anything for next year. That would have you concerned here. Not from this injury per say a man. He's going to have surgery. It's not even september yet. He's gonna have plenty of time to rehab from it in. This injury is separate from what originally put him on. The i l. Which was a strain. Yes they did kind of say like this is not related. That's early but something that popped up and he's been dealing with all you know for a while but mean still planned pretty well. My biggest concern is this'll be like the second year in a row that he's ended the season with an injury. Wow i i totally forgot that. He ended on injury last year. I remember was concerns. He wasn't gonna be ready to start the season here. That's right you know. Annually forty-one games and again played remarkably well so hoskins has now basically a full season's worth of numbers these last two years combined with six hundred twenty eight plate appearances of a one thirty two. Wr see pus did say right. That time With thirty seven homers but to season ending injuries. Now you know muddies the water on the profile as we go to age twenty nine. Yeah i mean. I don't think he's going to be super expensive. That's fair. I think has gotten a little little more appealing this year. Yep yeah so. He's he's a guy that i'd be interested in targeting especially if i'm using him as ci really nice for yeah. I think that would be I think a decent spot for him in you. Know in twelve and fifteen He's one of those guys that until we see what is price is going to be. You know he could end up being kind of early. Nice bargain 'cause thirty seven home runs over the course of the last season like you said that kind of gives us you know hundred sweat forty eight game sample which is likely what he would probably play anyways so That that that's a lot of power especially in your ob piliokahi obviously takes a huge jump. Forward in this is double d joie great guy. Yeah i think. I think it'll be interested in him next year depending on the price when you and i are early drafters And so we start drafts up sometimes before the season ends those leagues. I think could offer a great price on hoskins because you'll be out of people's minds having been on the i l. for the next month plus depending on when those drafts start and i think he'll be on the back burner a little bit then maybe over. The course of the offseason heels people may write some articles like don't forget resource instead of deal. His price might go up. But i think there could be an advantage for folks like us who draft early sneak in some cheap hoskins shares. And then what kind of see how has pricing balls As the draft season goes. What's talking about replacements for folks and got a couple of guys here they. I want to go over. And then you're you're wave recco for this week is another that will get to later. But let's start with connor joe out in colorado and He's no doubt taking advantage of being colorado rocky but also do some things on the road had a an a double dog game the other day. i mean you look at his season line. Now he's hitting two ninety two.

10 Strangest And Creepiest Things Found in Storage Devices And Lockers

"You can feel comfort in storing your private belongings inside lockers and other storage devices however sometimes the private belongings found inside. These storage devices are rather strange and disturbing number ten. The only time it's acceptable to keep around a headless doll is the five minutes between the dog ripping the head off and discovering it when someone stores headless doll among knives. It's most likely a problem. Robert dewey hoskins who was rearrested after escaping from a mental hospital in february of two thousand twelve was convicted of threatening to murder madonna and that headless baby doll was found in his storage unit in long beach l. a. weekly reports on the ten creepiest items found in the madonna stalker storage unit. Besides the headless baby dolon. Dozens of knives hoskins kept a very scary clown mask. A sumo wrestler back doubt a barbie backpack and so much more number nine. A married couple with two kids made a horrific discovery when the mother mrs copeland found a safe in her ten year old son's room when questioned about where he got it and its contents. He simply pleaded the fifth. Both parents were unable to get any info their son eventually. Mr copeland was the safe open and was shocked at what he found inside. The head of their dog that had recently passed and was buried in their yard was stuffed into the safe. Blood poured out of the box as mr copeland screamed in horror. Their son said he loved that dog so much that he wanted to have a part of her forever so he dug up the body cut off its head with a tiny kitchen knife and stuffed it in the safe that was found by the mother of later on that same day number eight some people like to take their work home with them but dr michael berkeley a former medical examiner took his work to a storage unit in pensacola. And when i say work. I'm talking about body parts for more than one hundred people all this craziness was discovered in august. Two thousand twelve win some poor soul both the contents of dr brooklyn's unit at a storage option. It seems that dr brooklyn's hobby included the storing of ten brains as well as other body parts lungs hearts and tissue samples. Dr burke was thrifty as well as creepy keeping a hard stored in styrofoam cup. Police noted that formaldehyde was leaking from the cracks lid. The body parts which were harvested during private autopsies performed inside funeral homes in florida were also found inside tupperware containers. Trash bags specimen cubs. Interestingly dr berkeley was fired from his job as a medical examiner in two thousand three for failing to complete autopsy reports in a timely manner and for a big backlog of cases number seven unit be aid. And you store self storage in clearwater. Florida held something. That couldn't be auctioned off on. The family fell behind on payments in january of two thousand twelve when the storage facility manager told the family that the contents were going to be sold. The truth came out among the banana boxes and old. Tv's rested the greenwich skeletal remains authorities. Identify the grandma as an bunch born on january. First one thousand nine hundred. Since the woman's death in nineteen ninety five her remains had been stored inside a painted blue coffin in a storage unit. That wasn't air conditioned for seventeen years. Her remains rested inside a warm storage unit. The body had been properly prepared for burial by funeral home. L. bama which explains the lack of odor number six. A lot of people refuse to go to public pools and he'd be. This will be one more reason. An elderly man named jacob pastor who swam in a public pool in colorado used the same locker in the changing room. Every time he visited a lot of the lockers went unused as most people didn't even need to use them and it wasn't a very crowded pool to begin with one unfortunate day however perhaps he had tired himself out a little too much and opened the wrong locker. The one right next to his usual one. The skeletal remains of human fell out from the locker. Almost as if tackling him to the ground by the looks of the body that once was had been there for years as it was fully decomposed. It looked as though somebody had been forcedly jammed in there or perhaps they simply got stuck in their themselves. That mystery will remain unsolved

"Daddy okay. Hook the nineteen ninety-one cult favorite reimagining of a Peter. Pan Lor starring Robin Williams. And Don Bosco you are. I'm just GONNA cut right to an icon. Come on come on man and you have been ever since this this role Rubio and we have so many questions for you. But we're going to start is what has revealed meant to you over. The course of the time. I mean is changed over the years. I did Rouphael when I was fifteen. Start when I was ten before was an actor. I was I'm from me and my brothers from the bay area right. And we're all artists and actors and musicians and poets and we start as break group in the Bay. Area called Street freaks. We popular was in the bay area. Kid You know grew up going to forty niners games in Oakland as games and we ended up dancing for the forty niners and the Oakland A.'s. Halftime shows thirty. Four thousand six hundred that kind of stuff then. We got scholarships the Ballet Company ballet and so we start studying ballet and it was like a real billion Elliott thing kids from St that they picked up and start the world ours and so like being an actor. Artists has been in my family's story since my earliest memories of whatever we were doing you know and so by the time I was fifteen and did hook it was like I mean I was you know somewhat prepared for it because I was studying acting for so long and studying the greats and then I was very much whereas work with greats worked with Spielberg maybe at the height of his powers. Dustin Hoffman is. He's on the Mount Rushmore of the actors. That changed the face of acting the seventy S and whatnot. You Got Robin. Williams is the Godfather improv acting. In one of the great you know give me. The list goes on Maggie. Smith said Bob. Hoskins is like every day is like what's going on here and so I was really prepared to just really do a great job but that never prepares you for character lasting twenty five years later. It's like now I've been Rubio longer than I haven't been Rubio. You know so you know you walk around. And now it's like it means something different to a whole generation as people tattoos of your fifteen year old face on their body crazy. Which you've seen with your I've seen with my own eyes. I've signed people's bodies at kamikaze tattooed on you know. And they name their kids after Rubio and their dogs after Rubio and it means something to just the people at large as far as like this rebel spirit you know and then in mean something completely different to a whole generation of Asian Americans where I get a lot of like. You're the first cool Asian that I ever saw on television as exactly what I was about to say. It's you and I'm dismayed that you hear so often not here and again when you're young you don't really think about it when you big movie in your teenager like even though I was like a trained actor and a pretty solid artists at fifteen is like I just WanNa be cool like plea at the for. The love of God can come out on Friday in theaters and when I go to school on Monday. Ken like some people. Think I'm cool. Where are you going to school at that point in in southern California I was going to school in Southern California? I was in high school Limit town called paramount. And it's right. You know right next to Compton. The crazy thing was this is the nineties s in we got into some trouble me and my brothers in the middle of shooting Hook. We got caught shoplifting. At Serena's mall yes. I needed some isotoner gloves. We needed some isotoner. Glove would use gloves and southern California. I don't know Jerry Rice War on I duNno had some is anyway. We got caught. My parents got so and again when you grown up in the neighborhood and paramount which is like site content but it's more Mexican than black and it's you know gang violence in the nineties and we have friends run drugs. Everything's a lot going on in your young mind like shoplifting is nowhere near anything else going on a neighbor but we got popped. We got in trouble and I was actually in the middle of shooting. Hook which is super strange and the guy that Catis history does mall was like watching. Because he'd seen me in a movie called perfect weapon he's like that's that do from perfect weapon and then. Oh my God. He's they're stealing isotoner gloves So we ended up getting bused to Orange County and started and finished our school at Orange County. The and then I was there when the hook came out. So it's kind like I was a kid in school and the movie came out and I went from a school. I was like predominantly black and Latino to a school in Orange County. That was I think there was twelve black kids in school And like it was like predominantly white. We were like. What are we doing here so that was a school that was that you were in? Hook was coming. Yeah that was I was in when he came out and I was. They thought it was cool. I mean we were cool are here with me and my brother like three. Brown brothers walking around campus with high hair and Super Hip hop kids and then the big movie comes out. And you're like that kid from that movie. 10 Years After Deepwater Horizon Oil Spill, Industry Says It's Better Prepared

"Ten years ago an explosion on the deepwater horizon drilling rig in the Gulf of Mexico killed eleven people and oil gushed into the Gulf for almost three months today. Offshore drilling is more regulated but has enough been done to prevent another accident. Here's NPR's Jeff Brady one of the biggest changes since the deepwater horizon accident is on the Gulf coast near Corpus Christi Texas at the Dockside Facility of marine well containment company with the wind blowing. Ceo David Nickerson shows off five capping. Stacks similar to the device that finally stopped crude flowing into the goal. Each one of them is about as tall as a two story building the heaviest one the largest one that we have which is over here ways almost as much as forty full-sized. Suv's Nickerson says for big oil companies. Put up a billion dollars to create the company in two thousand ten six more joined sense then. The company's only job is to respond to the next well blowout when they give us the word go. We can get offshore with the cabinet stack. Hopefully at the well capped off within the matter of a week right. So that's about ten times faster than it took the shut off flow during deepwater horizon. If they can't stop the oil right away. There's a fleet of equipment to capture it. Put it in tankers and bring it onshore ten years ago absolutely none of this existed. All of this has been built directly responsive horizon incident. This is on the response side. There's also been changes to prevent an accident including stricter regulations. The Obama Administration created the bureau of Safety and Environmental Enforcement Director. Scott on Gel recently offered members of Congress a positive view of what the bureau has accomplished. "You're just going to perform better with no matter what your weight is. Stop stepping skill. You know I just. I think it goes back a lot to your mind. I think we can do anything we WANNA do. If our mind can comprehend and we don't need to hear your excuses on why you like doughnuts we all love don't know Everybody everybody you know. We don't just say that you like to eat. DONUTS is fine. I do when you would text me Putin Hausky okay. You're GonNa tell me that guy. It is so strong because he's big because I could find four hundred people bigger than him. That aren't nearly as strong as he is right. And that dude is he's one of world trump's man he's been competing for how long and he's unreal to watch and he's an you know. I know the big thing is like a big waste you you know the big ways. You're unusually strong. Hey guys. That's aesthetically a bodybuilder. Yeah so and he's strong as a motherfucker You know I don't know I think it's I I think it's our mind accepts and then what we can actually comprehend. That's really what I think. So if you think it's the Diet you're stupid and if you don't feel good if you don't feel good you shouldn't be doing it. I spent a lot of time. Recently with like big powerlifters. I spent time with a guy that was squatting. A thousand pounds he. He couldn't breathe he he was eating like Shit and when we went to work out we did two lifts in an hour and I was like wait. Hold on so all of this is based around just wanting to lift heavy buck and you're going to be dead in like five years. None of this is even GonNa fucking matter. It's just not so. Hey why don't crazy crazy idea. Why don't we find out what makes you feel really good in your mind and let's see how you actually perform with with weight? You know this is crazy idea but I think I think that's that's what we're missing. Yeah people get obsessed we get sucked in. What's coming up for you next So we got the episodes. It's common December Nineth And this new season is sick. There's a lot of cool built so that's coming Most people know I started supplement. Company one mission nutrition which is like my baby and the reason is is because it is all based around one thing and that's giving back so every time you order supplements from me I'm match that and I I send that supplement to active duty military also free so what it looks like. Is You buy a pre workout and a protein gene. I send a pre workout in a protein to the guy that's across seas fighting right now. I thought when I put this company together I was like how can I make a difference. And what do they do over there. Eat Sleep workout and fight. That's it they're not doing anything else. what am I going to send free food like. That's not gonNA work so supplements applemans was really the next piece. And that's what I started the company we we've been Were eighteen months and we just started. And Dude we shipped all lot pallets and pallets and pallets of free supplements to military members. And now you WanNa talk about rewarding. I get military members that come back and we'll send me a message and I'd say just so you know. Today was the worst day of my life because I had to do things I didn't want to do and when I got home I had a shirt and a letter because we always put a letter and there and free supplements from you and it changed everything and I'm really really grateful and that for me is where my whole mind frame is now like I said when we were like I WANNA change. I WANNA help. Oh people what's so great about that is like obviously like you give and there's like there's going to be monetary value to giving you give people stuff and now your name and your brand is in their mind and all that stuff but beyond that what it does. Is that person's uplifted for that moment. And they're they're gonNA start to consider later. Oh man when. I'm in a better place in my life when I'm a little stronger when I'm out of the military or I'm I'm moving on to something else. Now I get to do that. Yeah now I'm in position the that now I can uplift somebody else and that's how you changed the world right. That's it right there. You helped somebody and then they help someone else in that person helps someone else and so that's kind of my. I think that's actually been my big focus. Outside shooting. Is that company because like the holidays are coming up and I know when I was missionary. The hardest times for me were the holidays to be away from my family. Early and the coolest coolest thing that we did started last year because the company's new is we get a day so my companies in Montana right next to Robin Dane US warehouse. We get a day Ed where we have all the kids in all the schools that we can find right a very specific letter to a soldier. We then take those letters we we put them in boxes and it takes forever right because we're trying to do fifty hundred thousand dollars stuff. Put them in the boxes with shirts and all this stuff and then ship them out and get them out before Christmas Christmas Song Christmas. They have something to open. And it's way more meaningful because it's literally a letter from a fourth grader. How great is that a fourth year? It's like hey man I just wanted to say thank you for fighting and doing what you're doing. I know you probably forgot about why you're out here but just so you know we haven't forgotten and it's it's awesome and fourth graders probably come up with some fun stuff. Oh yeah some of the Shit Shit. Sometimes I read these letters on like. I don't know if I'd WANNA get that we're sending young blowing people up with your gun. I wore like one time. I had a K.. They draw something drawn out and it was blood. Whatever let it go whatever you know but yes so? That's kind of thing. But it's one mission nutrition and it's it's all based around just giving back the military and of course you know monetary. It helps us. It's a business. It is a five. Oh One C.. Whatever that is he's like a charity But yeah that's kind of where my focus has been and then honestly my my number one focus at this point in my life is meeting people that I can have real relationships with that they can Enlighten me and I can late them and I can find and a relationship that will last like that's what it is. That's why you always you probably see me all over the place like Yeah it's been mark and spend time with Robin I was just with Jay Cutler like dude in that guy such start such a fucking stock and saying good things about you know he. He came picked me up from my hotel. He took me to dinner. Then we went and lifted and we chitchat and we bullshit. And like this is fucking Jay Cutler. Yeah Dude and he's just so cool man like even. Yeah it's just so cool. He's just one of those same same thing. That's just a good dude and I never in a million years would have had the time energy or even been able to do what I'm doing with him now. If my mind hadn't a change in like Ice WanNa meet cool people and change lives and have them help me. You know you got a special question from a fan over there from Wayne Wayne. Our boy ways Wayne You met him in in the In the store today. Yep Okay so you want some of the fastest zero to sixty time in the biggest diesel truck you've ever built and how much horsepower power and Torque did it have fastest zero to sixty personally I had a I had a two two thousand eleven siegel cab so just you know three two seats dodge. Ram that I built. That was a twin turbo. Oh Monster it was actually a daily driver And I had on my answering but it's so far is I don't even know you could find it but it was. It was probably probably real close to nine hundred horse and probably two thousand pounds of Torque and I the zero to sixty was real close close to probably three seconds I mean it was it was unreal. The thing that's different about trucks is you can put them in four wheel drive and you can spoil the turbo up. And when you take aikoff it's like taking off in a Tesla those Tesla's are unreal to take off and shoot you out. I've got a really good friend. That has a nine thousand pound duly truck that does eight second quarter miles. Oh my God. Unreal it's unreal and then he leaves the track and drives it home. It's crazy crazy. So yeah that would be. I would say my personal my fastest nine hundred horse two thousand pounds of Torque and just a monster of we think is the most misunderstood thing. You know that you hit like that you might hear like. Is there something that pisses you off. When somebody says like my truck does civically trucks might most? There's gotta be there's probably fifty of them my most frustrated and most people know this were in a lawsuit with you. Know what would be considered the EPA Environmental Protection Agency for for what's called blowing black smoke rolling coal. What ninety nine percent of America doesn't understand? Is that a diesel. Even rolling that black smoke is less pollutant than a Prius. Now what they really. I don't understand. Is that black. Smoke doesn't go up into the atmosphere it falls to the ground. It's on burnt fuel so it's actually not doing what everybody sees and thinks that it's doing blowing. Black smoke is essentially throwing too much fuel into the motor. And it's not burning it because remember I told you. diesels have to burn earn at a really high temperature. And it's just shooting it out the exhaust as as blackened understand. Yeah or there's no I fire but there's certifier yes I'm burning people misunderstand that and they see these guys driving down the road and blowing black smoke everywhere. And that's annoying his fuck but what they don't understand is that's not polluting. The way they think it is shit falls to the ground in fact. That's why that video that we watched. He had black smoke all over him. You couldn't roll. We'll see an exhaust on your face with gas and come out with black face for wasn't working exactly. That's what that is so that's my biggest thing. I wish people understood understood code. Who'll yeah awesome anything else over there and you know I was looking for the The truck I can find everything out. Oh it's a ways down there. Yeah Oh it's it's okay. Where can people find you? Big Guy Most of what I do is on my instagram. It's it's the period muscle And then they the discovery discovery channel. it'll be Monday nights. They actually moved us to the seven o'clock slot I think for West Coast And that's pretty much everything I do as you'll see they're on T._v.. Or on my answer awesome. Strike does never week this week. Never strength catch. y'All later peace out..

"K. S. Q. U. E. S. T. at checkout for twenty percents off your entire order at quest nutrition dot dot com. Oh my God isn't seen as microphone. Work 'cause we lots of times. We have him off. He's going no look it doesn't work. Do uh-huh fucking way. I didn't think that would work. That was somewhat paranoid over here now. That was pretty good. I taught it worked. I thought it worked pretty good. Yeah so today. We got my boy the muscle on the PODCAST and Aben text message in him harassing asking him Mentally physically sexually probably more sexually Morceli. I'm more than anything else. Yeah and He's just somebody. I saw all kind of like in a similar circle. I saw him Kind of mingling with some friends of mine and some people that I know and then I obviously already knew who you were from your show and I also so Have a friend who's like this obsessed with your show. So he was like dude. He's like you gotta check this guy out and at the time I was thinking about getting a truck. He's like. You should see if the diesel brothers can you know make your truck or whatever and he was all you know all into it and everything in any way. My friend ended up building out my truck. And you can check it out later and see See what you thanks how he did you know what the job that he did. Great to have you here today and we finally just I met at The the show that was out in Vegas Sima. Yes Sima Yeah Cool. Yeah it was good. It was a bad time for us to me but yeah yeah because you are busiest fuck you go to a lot of shows So now now I we tried to go to as little as possible. But Seema's like the big. I mean it's like the Mr Olympia. For for fitness you know Seamus us the end. All be all in fact I was just told while we were down there. It is the biggest event except for one other event that Las Vegas puts on. So it's huge. I was massive. I left it right. I walked a lot of it and they were like. Oh Yeah. There's an upstairs too and I was like. Oh Shit I never even saw that. Yeah it's crazy but that's like our big event because that's essentially where everybody who's What would be considered a credible builder has vehicle? So I usually have anywhere from two to ten circles there every year and then I have my personal vehicles and then obviously we have the show vehicles winches. What diesel brothers actually builds and so we had a few those and we just go oh from booth to booth to booth for five to eight hours a day and there's just lines like you saw? Yeah and we do it for five days straight. It's like the most mentally taxing thing I've ever done. It's hard to talk for that long. Yeah at well I think I think I could probably talk for a while. But it's the same shit over and over so it's like groundhog's Day because every single person that walks up to you is like hey man. I'm a huge fan. Let me show you my truck. And you're Mike Okay here we go you know so. That's when it gets harder. And they can't find it on their phone no shit flipping through their phones. All cracked thin broken squats or something. Like four or five it's a heartbreaker fucking do they. They shake your hand like ten times duties taking so much transact shake either. Shake your hand like ten times or they don't stop shaking your hand and you're like hey a man like whoa we gotta fuck. Yeah you we have to let go. Yeah Yeah and then and then sometimes they get emotional about the lecco which is also weird. What about about the CLAMMY hands and and the dead fish hand like the dead zone handshake. I get the dead dead fish handshake from a lot of big guys and I always I make it a policy now I call people out on. I'm like what the fuck is that. A serious yeah like this isn't acceptable. I'm not taking a picture with us. You don't come back and give me a handshake like a man and I mean sometimes they take it the right way. Sometimes they get a little embarrassed. Hopefully they changed their life after that. Because that's unacceptable like that way do anything's way do everything right. Yeah so yeah I I usually call people. I don't think we should switch to bowing easy. It's a lot cleaner yeah. We don't make any contact. You just a little bit of like I recognize you. Know it's real recognize real more sanitary. Yeah I think yeah really obvious. Fire Way I think bowing would be great. Yeah I agree. It's really respectful. I I always have to say I I can't say nice to meet you because I always fucked that up like we met three times. MM-HMM I say that every single time and probably twenty percent of the time I met you a year ago to say great for those leaving second and I can't believe you don't remember me and I'm always like sorry I'm fucking stupid all right to that one. Okay you're good. It makes it easier like I'm half retarded. Yeah totally fine with it by then. Don't mind me how does diesel brothers thing Come to be because getting on. TV is Is Not easy. You know it's a lot of people are trying especially like with the popularity of reality. TV shows So it's it's a semi long story but it's it is crazy so diesel Dave who's on the show is one of my best friends we've actually went to junior high together and we always were really good friends And then I actually actually was a missionary I was an LDS missionaries Seattle. Wow I came back Twenty one and Kinda reconnected. We're like twenty six twenty seven now. How old thirty two? Oh thirty two and came back kind of met up with these again and he had then since then met heavy eighty and they became really good friends and they were both doing what I was doing. which was You know building companies or building businesses. But they were always back to the root of building trucks that they liked you know like just personally and then obviously you build enough trucks. People were like fuck man. I like that I WANNA buy one. You know And so in two two thousand twelve we kind of all met up. And that's when I kinda heavy d and he was like do check this out. This is what we're doing. We are showing the world that you can monetize ties facebook and and I was like that sounds stupid but okay you know it was right after my space and whatever and so we started going around and companies and being like hey hey pay us some money and we will show you how you can make money on social media. And they're like at the fuck out of here. It doesn't make any sense stupid so we started a website. Just previous is to any of that called diesel trucks for sell on facebook and it blew up overnight hundred thousand followers within the first few weeks than two hundred hundred thousand followers. And we thought there's gotta be a way you can make money from this so you know. We went door to door. Whatever you WANNA call it to these companies and we're like let us show you how to make money you pay us and we're GonNa get you to you know essentially sell your products through social media? Everybody thought we were crazy. Everybody so how. How are you Suggesting Jesse that they make money because of how popular your facebook thing was chosen and then you need parts right so all these companies should be. It wasn't necessarily a specific just to diesel trucks. It was just anybody and it was specific to you guys and the popularity that I understand. So this'll heavy he d was like here's what we're GONNA do. We're going to give a truck away for free and we could lose our ass but the way to enter into win is people have to buy our clothing and every dollar they spend they get one entry into a truck. Well he said all this up did this whole thing. I mean mind. You were twenty four twenty five and we decide that we're GONNA take a seventy five thousand dollar truck and give it away for free which none US could afford to give away a truck for free and the way I say. It's for free as to make it legal in every state you have to allow people to enter for free and that's a melon entry so literally heavy came out with four shirt designs. A rubber band said diesel-powered gear and a sweatshirt said diesel-powered gear and was like let's Let's through our facebook. Let's tell people were given this truck away for free and Let's see if we can sell product to get people to enter into win for free and we. We did the first giveaway. It was. I think it was a twelve week. Three-month giveaway and I think we sold like seven hundred thousand dollars worth of product. T's first first time like literally heavy diesel. They've INA garage packing seven hundred thousand dollars worth of shirts that they had just printed and in a rubber band. That was a dollar that said diesel-powered year they sold one hundred thousand of them and from that point like it was like Holy Shit Dude. This is a real idea and and social media is real like we can really make a lot of money off social media. That's when that's when I came on with heavy D and said Dude listen. Let's start making money with diesel sellers dot com which was our website and that was an online classifieds for diesel trucks. Everybody all over the nation knows that I can get a truck cheaper in Texas. Then you guys can here in California so area code right taxes and exactly and the the need for things like a four wheel drive truck. Here isn't nearly as expensive as it is where someone needs it with snow so if I could save you ten grand you sure as hell would ship it for a thousand dollars so I can connect all those people which is what we thought. Ah We could really blow the website up so we started that website the diesel sellers dot com and then I started selling ad space and all that and all of a sudden diesel seller star blown up so we did that and we did those truck giveaways and I think we did four truck giveaways and by our last one. We think we did a million dollars and sell. It was crazy talking crazy and that's when the discovery channel came to us and they were like. Hey somebody saw something this is this is the other crazy story. Okay so we did in fact you can pull stuff on Youtube I I love this kind of stuff I love like oh making making. This is crazy so go to youtube and go diesel. Missile Dave Prank Buchan Heavy D so can't believe it so we did this skit where let's see it. Is that second one that says twin turbo common. So just watch this clip K.. So we do this clip. I don't know if you guys can hear it or if we can get the sound can get so so you got to watch this so so essentially we do these right in two thousand thirteen to get more viewers to go to facebook so we can get more followers on facebook book. Right well this is our buddy rockwell rich you know rockwell. The watches were really good friends with that well. He was in taking it in the bathroom. aathroom and diesel Dave and us we rolled up in one of our diesel trucks. And we're like you know what we're GONNA fuck. Fill his whole room up with black smoke right eight. So we film this whole skit of US polling up. This is diesel. Dave right here you see at the guys that Rockwell here on April. Kohl's Oh God and he's in there taking a shit and we've two o'clock uh of course he's taken a dump right. Yeah and we have one of their eyes locked the door from the outside get out and did you know this was is happening. No he had no idea. Jit legitimately always takes shit at two o'clock. Yes so he didn't even know he's on camera taken down. I mean he doesn't this point. Because we papa camera off AH whole fucking bathroom full black smoke right. Have you guys spots with each other previously. This this was the first one so he's kind of like really like what the fuss. Yeah he's pissed as you.

"So I'm still involved in murder. I get leads all the time. I turned everything over to the police. We also have started a fund for survivors, clergy abuse in the archdiocese of Baltimore. And I am just gonna put in a plug for that. Because the archdiocese settled with a number of individuals, but only allotted them either five thousand or ten thousand for therapy. And once it was gone. That's it and that's not enough because it's very expensive, especially specialists that deal with with abuse situations. There are a lot of people who can't afford it. Or who don't have the insurance that will cover it? So what we've done is starting to fund for them. And if they need individual or family support, we have a form they sell out one that gives their provider, and we send him a check. I think once all. The like emotions settled down and everybody saw the keepers like five times or whatever. Then we got to do the real work. So right now really pushing for the attorney general to convene a grand jury. We do have an investigation going on that the attorney general has assigned to you know, specific investigator and they're doing interviews. And then a lot of information lot of leads, and I think it's gonna be really food for oil. So we're pushing for that we also want people to know that if they need help like immediately that are I n n raining is the biggest twenty four hour hotline in the world for the tombs of sexual abuse and easy to remember, just Google. Rain and there's a phone number together. One that people may not know about is called snap and a. And that one stands for survivors network of those abused by priests. So if if adults or young people have been abused snap is also good resource for them. It's the abuse by clergy. So I think there's a lot of concrete things people can do, and you know, those are few but. We're really pushing for closure on this. I think we're gonna find out what happened, you know, in the not too distant future. Hey. I wanna think again, Jim Hoskins for allowing me to interview her, and I wanna remind people that they can subscribe to the show on itunes and leave a five star review. "Take a moment to savor the moments that really matter with milk today. The keepers is a seven episode web series directed by Ryan white on net. Flicks. But the archdiocese has paid settlements to at least sixteen people who said he abused them. Jemma Hoskins wasn't class with says Nick when she went missing in November of nineteen sixty nine and with the help of her classmate Abby Shaab has dedicated her retirement to finding the identity. Of says next killer Jemma is a key figure in the Netflix series and helps narrate the events that took place a Keogh in the sixties and seventies and doggedly has tried to pursue answers. Now, it's been almost a year since the series premiered. And I wanted to touch base with Gemma to see how the keepers changed her life. Whether it brought new details about the murder and its impact in the metoo era. So welcome Jemma. This is such a such a big this is such a big deal for me. I really appreciate it. Thank you so much. I appreciate the opportunity to talk. So tell me about how you got involved with the Netflix series, well, Abby, and I and a number of other Keough alumni actually were about a year and a half into doing our own investigation about you killed taffy. And along with that we began to hear of the abuse that happened to Keough Abby. He and I were seniors when Kathy disappeared. So she was already out of the combat living in an apartment nearby, but it was such a tragedy. We just had no idea who would want to hurt this person. So most of us knew nothing about the abuse. That was actually going on in the building not just by Mascow. But by another priest Neil Magnus, and allegedly by police officers politicians and business people who the price was leading in the back door and girls had been drugged and hypnotized and they were being prostituted..

"Amazing cake JC. Welcome back for this episode of reality life with Casey in this bonus episode, I spoke with Gemma Hoskins from the keepers. The keepers is a seven episode web series directed by Ryan white on net. Flicks. The series explores the unsolved murder of a twenty six year old nun sister. Kathy says Nick who taught English and drama at Baltimore's archbishop Keough high school, and our former students belief that there was a cover up by Thorndike's after says Nick suspected that a priest at the school choice of Maskell was guilty of sexual abuse of students says Nick's body was found in a garage. Dump in January nineteen seventy just two months after being reported missing by her roommate to this day sister says next murder remains a mystery Maskell who died in two thousand one denied the abuse allegations and was never criminally charged. Flicks docu series and helps narrate the events that took place at Keough high school in the sixties and seventies. This series of extremely personal for me. My aunt Marie was a non in a similar order. The sisters of Notre Dame Dinna Muir in Washington DC. I'm a graduate of Trinity College in DC where my aunt also went to school and many of my professors were nuns. In addition to that, my mother Suzanne is the victim of abuse by a priest in the Philadelphia archdiocese. So I really was excited to talk to Gemma about how she is doggedly pursued the answers to says next murder and also her bravery in exposing this story and just how much people in Baltimore were involved in the cover up in. In the late sixties and continued to do today. So here's my interview with Gemma Hoskins. These days getting to the things that really matter in life can be tough with all the distractions and pressures out there. But at the end of the day, the things that really matter that things that we really cherish are the.

"Men I think can do y'all go for all three movies and the cartoon series. The series. I'm pretty sure he did that voice for the TV's. Their movies related in return of Jaffar and Aladdin king sees Nevoso Kanthi. That was the return of Ron Williams as Jeannie. He came back, they replaced the home assumption. They did Kesselman. He was a good genie, he was he was about, but they got, they got Williams to be back. I think he just there was just a four year anniversary of on William's death. Jack. Yeah, it's crazy because I distinctly remember it. Obviously, it happened when we were working at risk that I remember like chatting with you about it like the day. We found out this fucker ran into this humor office while I was in there and just started screaming, I think we killed Ron Williams. We'd literally just mentioned by name in a broken my heart them you've which I think we cut because it was too real. Yeah, you I was so devastated. Yeah. Yeah, I couldn't believe it. We just gone on a spree, like suddenly killing people. We like half and then we just go Kansas four years is he was my hero new, so good MRs. Doubtfire is a great movie. It is MS Doubtfire. I'd say bird cages one of his best as well. So good Burke as so much rewatch crazy to see. You know, if you go to like the, I tunes movie section on your apple TV or like whatever platform you have, you can see like the most popular. Movies that people are downloading after his death, like all the top movies were Robbie, I think hook was way up. I think it was on this too much as like a, it's possible, but it's one of my favorite things. I don't know if I've always been my favorite thing world that you named one of your cats after a character from Peter Pan, namely, Bob, Hoskins portrayal of that character in my favorite movie. Yeah, because Hoskins died like the week before a month month before named SMI after Bob Hoskins died. Yeah, because and now we follow the pattern of we just name a cat soft to famous dead legends characters. Yeah. So we've got to me Colombian Ziggy Ziggy. So Where'd you get sticky. From a foster kittens. I didn't know if you like founder and then adopted her. I'm in jail, but we adopted three cats recap three cats because to was too many. With him up on one. Is that ever like a two on one situation? Columbus. Columbus fee on the new ones together, really. I mean, it's fine slowly becoming a cat lady. I am becoming a cat lady. Megson was Kelly because sounds like she's the one who decided to Gigi will every two years she gets a new cap. Okay. That is unsustainable. Live, like eighteen is sometimes I'm going to have nine cats. You see it was the birthday of the oldest living cat. He turned thirty one years old. Naming its name is not make. So apparently I think it was like a hundred forty in human years or something crazy like that. That's incredible. Old at that point, but it looks like it doesn't look like. You know, it's still standing to sit with. Like a birthday? Yeah, it's name. It's nutmeg is on Reddit today yet. The looks like a cut. It just looks like a gorgeous as go look like. Nali looks at. It looks a little. It looks a little grumpy grumpy for short. Yeah, so two cats go through menopause. They've got to, why do they got to. Could if. Do all mammals, go through menopause think so. Oh, if why? Why? Okay. If a cat Barbara, I'm reading Barbara MacKay read if a cat is not fixed, she'll be able to conceive all her life. There is no way equivalent of menopause because cats do not menstruate her fertility may decline will not cease. Uh, that's that's a healthy looking thirty one your hat. It's probably like made up glass though. Like you can't move. He's the at that point. The cat is a character from like hell boy to this dust all inside and it's just like turning clock. So a cat. So what causes human menopause done with? Why do we? Why? Why do not we? Why do women go through menopause? Is it just you run out of the at some point, the Hume, the female human becomes unappealing now males?.

"I mean hoskins is homering every day now that who he taken of them well i think it i think you know obviously it's going to depend on what stats you need okay like if if i'm a thumb thinking about leg my place in in a labour for example all right i need power but i also could use speed but i can't lose any spots batting average it would probably be hoskins i think he's safer for batting average amine it's crazy what he's doing but you know eric themes did this and april so i want to be careful here like pitchers are going to stop throwing strikes to hoskins and i presume based on what we've seen from him not only in the last three weeks but also in the miners a he will take the walks you know let my cup franco beach you and that's just ridiculous because he won't so bucks is also feasting on a very meaty part of his schedule he is any how where the two of those homers yesterday roth lefties i noticed that barely left the park i'm not saying i don't like bucks than i do i wonder if i think it's it dependent on the stats you need it which is which is a copout answer but i think it i think i'd take hoskins actually i i think i i you know i you know obviously the stolen bases eight steals in a month is crazy i mean that's a a pace for almost fifty for a season me eve keep eveywhere to keep this up bielig forty forty player but that's a 360 to on do you think he keeps up a 360 if he doesn't than it's going to be tough onto the stain that sort of stolen base pace i like next year boxed to me i can't see him hitting above to sixty mile for the last calendar year okay twenty two homers 25 steals well actually since september first yes counter you're basically in one hundred forty games but to fifty seven batting average now we should presume he's 2003 he's going to get better he has to get better brace harper got better so what's the what's next year a 275 with 2020.
