EP-190 | Find Your Courage & Go After Your Dreams
It's easy to allow others to dictate your direction and where you should go in life. For some, it happens at an early age and the person may not know how to break the cycle. But, find your courage and go after your dreams. Alex Weir served four years in the U.S. Marine Corps before recently separating. While serving as a specialized radio operator, she applied for assignment or attachment to MARSOC four times during her career. Although MARSOC wanted her to join their unit, and her full command was behind it, there was always a road block in the way. Robert Gowin, Kat Kaelin, and Erich Martin sit down with Alex to hear her story. Robert is a retired US Army Armor and Recruiter/Retention MSG turned Fortune 50 executive; Kat Kaelin is a former US Army SSG/E6 who served with Army Rangers and Delta Force in Afghanistan as a CST and is also featured in the NY Times Best Selling book "Ashley's War"; Erich Martin is a recently retired US Army MSG/E8 who spent nearly all of his career as an Special Forces operator (Green Beret).
