God Designed Wellness
"With everybody. How god kind of transition do you. How did it start that you went from. I mean obviously. I think people can. They can understand even relate to going from being a stay at home mom and then as they grew you worked into a career but then how do you take this career that you worked hard to become a teacher and now you literally transition into health and wellness kind of walk us through that journey in kind of what god was. What was he planting seeds along the way or did it happen. Suddenly i would love to hear that. It was a very gradual thing again. I grew up Which you know in southern california. It's the weather's great. People eat quite differently than they do. In the mid west gives me in the midwest and my husband and my kids. And i had gone to visit family in north carolina for christmas and this was still back in the day where you took pictures and you develop them and you and my sister sent me a picture and i looked at of course. I glanced at everyone else. And then i did what most of us do. I narrowed in on myself. And i thought oh my goodness what have i done and i was probably at that time. A good thirty to forty pounds heavier and it was like how did that happen and again the picture a picture doesn't lie and that's when you notice that and about that time i think i was starting to ease into menopause and then it wasn't but a couple years that my oldest daughter decided to go back out to california to san diego to college and little by little she'd come home each semester. Erin summer and say. I'm not eating this anymore. We don't eat that and then it was like okay. Whatever and i it was milk and then it was pork and then it was you know she was suddenly paying more attention to the shampoos and the ingredients in them so if anything my daughter without even realising it starting to see her be more aware of what she put in her body as well as on our body made me start to think again. You're i was starting. Menopause feeling tired extra way. No energy sleep and so really. It was a combination of all of those things that i realized i needed to go back to the basics cooking meals taking walks doing more things and started to see my health improve and then it seems like you know friends would make comments or ask questions and so i became sort of the go to a little bit for people. How do i do this or what are you eating. That looks really good and out. That was it and it was something that i loved talking about. I love learning about. And so i think just was a natural progression and i love teaching. I like talking to people making connections so it just was a natural fit so then i signed up or a year long a certification program to be a health coach. That's how it all started. It's awesome and i think that It's a really beautiful picture of how It's kind of full circle. I feel like you know we. We don't not necessarily. I mean some families. Just it's cultural the way that they eat and And so it's even harder to break those habits but but for some people they started off kind of you know everything was even homegrown for some people and then you just get busy and you get in that phase of life and then it then it just becomes a habit of convenience until something happens. It's interesting because i feel like people take their health for granted until their health is not health anymore
Shuttle Tire Sensors Warn Drivers of Flat Tires
"Attire sensor is a small programmable electronic device that constantly measures the air in your tire. The sensor transmits information via low frequency radio waves to the vehicles on board computer. If the tire needs air an amber warning light is illuminated on the dash during the space shuttle era. Proper tire pressure was crucial from orbit to landing. The nitrogen filled tires weathered extreme temperature changes due to very heavy loads tires had to be inflated to three hundred forty pounds per square inch but in the early days of the program. There just wasn't a good way to gauge pressure. Flight accurately so nasa contracted with a company to build a tire pressure sensor specifically for the space shuttle after the company successfully delivered the device to nasa. They adapted the sensor for use on cars today. Us law requires a pressure gauge on every car tire. Alerting drivers whenever the pressure is off
Energy Plan Launched by Tesla in the UK, Short Shorts Update
"Everybody Rob our here and today we are primarily talking about Tesla Energy Tesla has officially launched its energy service in the United Kingdom, and with that they've shared a lot of interesting details on their plans in that market. We then also have an update on delivery for Tesla's latest product or add. So starting off with Tessa Energy, tussle today, updated their website in the UK you can actually access this from I believe any country as long as you just go to the drop down and ginger location. So in the UK on Tesla's homepage there now, featuring a new product quote, the Tesla Energy plan designed for homes with solar and Power Wall. And Quote Tesla also has a nice little two minute video. They're sort of running through the entire process end to end. But basically what this energy plan does is utilized tussle power walls to create a virtual power plant in which Tesla will utilize their audit or software to manage energy storage levels in different distributed energy storage products such as the power wall. This adds value in a number of different ways, but I think the simplest way to understand it is to think of it as somewhat balancing the grid out Tesla can purchase energy when it's really cheap store it in the distributed network of power walls and then resell it when energy prices. Are High that's all managed in real time automatically by auditor software that helps balance out the grid and then tested profit from the differences in though selling prices. This is, of course, in addition to the normal benefits of having a power wall, which would be to store your renewable energy so that you can use that energy when your power production is not that high, and then of course, having backup energy in case of power outage, what that virtual power plant functionality enables is for tussle to partner with an energy retailer in this case, octopus energy in the UK to provide tuskers that have a power wall with a much cheaper energy plan. Than, they could get anywhere else tussle on the website says it can be up to seventy five percent cheaper for energy than any other available rate. So we're going to go into the details on that but I there are a couple of unique things we have to understand about the UK energy market, the first of which being the terminology. So in the UK essentially, each energy plan is known as a tariff I think generally, we think of tariff as being attacks, and here for the UK energy market, it does involve pricing, but it's broader than that. Basically, an energy tariff here is equivalent to saying an energy plan. So the tariff involves pricing. It involves whether you're power costs are fixed or variable your provider, the energy source that you're using whether that's renewable, -able or something else all of those details fit under what would be described as your energy tariff. So if we focus in on pricing, there are a couple of different charges. The first is what's known as a standing charge that is a daily fee they are paying basically for actively and UK power dot co dot UK says that the average staining charge for electricity in the UK is twenty point, five, eight pence per day twenty, point five pence is equivalent to twenty seven US sense. So that doesn't sound like a lot. But over the course of the year, that adds up to one hundred dollars on average. So that's the standing charge and there is a unit rate. So you're paying per kilowatt hour. Think we're operating used to that and on average that is fourteen point four pence per kilowatt hour sources vary on this, but it looks like the average home in the UK uses about four thousand kilowatt hours per year, which would lead to you `electricity costs five, hundred, seventy, six pounds per year. That's about seven hundred, fifty US dollars. So all in standing charge plus the actual payment for the electricity you're at about eight, hundred, fifty dollars per year and probably higher. If you have to charge electric vehicle. So with that context, let's look back at tussles energy plan and affect you. It says, what are the tariff details? Tesla says quote no standing charge on your bill, a twenty four, seven import rates of eight pence per kilowatt hour for current Tesla vehicle owners and eleven pence per kilowatt hour for non Tesla vehicle owners the lowest flat rate tariff available on the market as of October twenty twenty. So at eight pence per kilowatt hour and no standing charge over the course of the year at four thousand kilowatt hours you're looking at three hundred, twenty pounds or about four, hundred seventeen, which will, of course round. Up to four, hundred, twenty US dollars. So under that example, you're saving more than fifty percent more than four hundred dollars per year or about thirty five dollars a month remember though that's for the average around four thousand kilowatt hours. If you have an electric vehicle charging that, let's say that's double eight thousand kilowatt hours that should get you ten thousand fifteen thousand miles per year from your electric vehicle. Then your annual electricity costs go up to a little over twelve hundred pounds or about sixteen hundred US dollars under Tesla's energy plan that same amount of energy would cost about six hundred and forty pounds or about eight, hundred and thirty, five. US. Saving about seven hundred and sixty five dollars per year or sixty, five dollars per month so that all sounds great. The energy on this plan is all renewable but where the rub comes in as you have to actually by the power wall and in the UK that cost eight thousand pounds, that's a bit over ten thousand dollars. So if you're saving sixty five dollars per month while the payback period on that is about thirteen years. So on the surface, this looks pretty attractive and if you happen to already have power while. In the UK it seems like a no brainer. But unless I'm missing something on the math here, this is a complicated subject to me. It's not clear that this is something that everyone is immediately going to be scrambling to adopt where things get a little bit trickier to understand her on the math on is when we switched over from purchasing electricity actually selling electricity. So in the UK, there are a couple tariffs on that. There's a generation tariff and an export tariff.
Illegal Raves Fill 'Cultural Void' in Britain Amidst Coronavirus
"The night time economy has been hit hard by the pandemic nightclubs have been forced to close putting deejays and promoters out of. There that just because the clubs are closed, doesn't mean the party's destroyed. In Britain legal raves are enjoying something of a revival. Frankly right throughout Britain for the economist, the met police has recorded more than thousand raves in the last few months and many people are saying this is kind of a throwback to the late eighty s and early ninety s back. Then illegal acid house parties started happening all over the country. What are these raves actually like the traditional stereotype, his house techno music taking place in an abandoned warehouse or something things are a bit different. Now over the summer at least they've tended to happen in big outdoor spaces, kind of in the middle of nowhere, and the kind of music really varies depending on the event to so now do still play House and techno, but also are and be drum and bass a few weeks ago. There was a big rave in a tiny Welsh village called Babylon three and a half thousand people turned up but it's really all because of the closure of nightclubs. Choose to the pandemic lockdown as revive that spirit of acid house and really hard and Ravers who have nowhere else to go have turned to illegal parties again, and he's the revival of raving entirely result of the pandemic largely. But even before the pandemic rates for making a bit of a comeback covid of accelerated that trend, the revival was a result of expensive rents in big cities, which made it harder for nightclubs on cheap nights and also precarious operating licenses to big venues of how to pass that cost onto clubbers entry to print works, which is a big factory turned club in southeast London. Forty pounds just for a night and drugs and much less tolerated to oversee an illegal rave while they're much cheaper because have to deal with licensing and venue costs, and also there are no rules because it's illegal he can do whatever you like these ours you say illegal raves. So how the authorities cracking down on them authorities are having a really hard time trying to stop them because they will happening at such a low level. It wasn't too much for problem of there being A. Resurgence. Now, the approach, the the police and the government seems to be taking is deterrent in recent weeks new finds of being introduced by the government of up to ten thousand pounds for the organizers of these parties. But the big fines aren't having that much of an effect because it's very difficult to work out who's organizing them in the first place and that's because they're so secretive locations are often kept quiet until the last minute and even then details only shared with a ten dis. Through. Private channels like what's happened instagram messages, which is actually quite similar to the nineteen eighty s and ninety s when people would have to phone number from a phone box to find out where a policy was happening all the legal alternatives for UK Ravens than there aren't really at the moment. So in recent weeks, some music events have started up again but much more tame that kind of socially distance concerts happening in traditional venues, some promoters have tried to organize legal socially distance raves. I spoke to one organizer who said he put on the first, which is very early lockdown. He had seven hundred and fifty people applies account but could only let in forty people even then the police still turned up and try to shut it down until it was explained that it was going on legally this week actually new restrictions which limit social gatherings are the indoor or outdoors to six people have come in making it even more difficult to organize one of these events safely and legally. Six people doesn't sound like much of a rave. Is there a safe way to do this independent nick? Honestly not really it's obviously very hard socially distant set arrive. There have been the helping of criticism within the music industry of so-called Plague Raves in countries where venues have reopened as they haven't in Britain yet nightclubs have been criticized on any kind of events at all contributing to spikes in resurgences in the virus. One case of this is in south, Korea which did. Very well, it containing the virus. But when things thought reopened a number of cases with trace back to to some nightclubs in Seoul and that led to a huge amount of criticism within the press and in society as well. Just dougherty runs legal acid house parties in London, and he's one of the many deejays who calling people out for throwing playgroups
NASA Shuttle Tire Sensors Warn Drivers of Flat Tires
"The warning light on your dashboard is telling you your tire pressure is low. Did you know you can thank NASA for the alert? Tracy Anderson - Fitness Pioneer
"I'm Tracy Anderson. I created the Tracy Anderson fitness method. And I am a mom of two. You can find me at Tracy Anderson Dot Com and you can follow me at Tracy Anderson method. What is your workout? I mean everybody knows your name and not everybody might know they're like wow this really great workout. And maybe they feel like they don't have access to it or they don't know exactly what it is but they know that tons leverage are obsessed with tons of people are obsessed with it. And what's the? What is the philosophy? How did you develop it? And why is it taken off so much? So kind of you It the philosophy is that I. My mission is to continuously create balance where there's imbalanced in specifically in women's bodies. It does work great for men but all of my studies have been done on women so I don't feel like it's fair to say that I really know what I'm doing with any man quite honestly so I I went to college on a dance. Scholarship and I gained forty pounds at school for dance and My Dad has fought. He's battled obesity is whole life and my mom was a beautiful. Prima Ballerina and my genetics. Just weren't my mom's once I hit you know. Nineteen twenty twenty one and I felt ashamed in a lot of ways like I felt like this is unfair that I have to be. I'm barely five feet tall in a black leotard and pink tights and I'm like gaining weight and instructors are literally looking at me like why the officially in my class right now. And how does she have a scholarship kind of thing because of the way that I looked like I had some teachers like you have so much talent but like just don't have the body and so I felt like that was really unfair? Yeah so I really focused on Choreography. And I was like you know what I'll be behind the scenes all all learn really all of the elements of craigie really strong Sorry what was what was creating the waking though if you're working out all the time it doesn't matter if people work out all the time quite frankly just because you work out all the time does not mean you're going to make weight and come back in a heartbeat for sure and eat bagging heartbeat but also everybody's metabolic rate is completely unique and completely different. How we store fat. How we need fat. How we How stress affects us like there are so many factors that affect our engines as women too. I mean and our right to dress their children whether we want to have them or not like. It's just a human you know it's part of our system and how that system works for each of us is actually shockingly unique and wait has a lot to do with it. And I think that a lot of people when you're genetically predisposed to certain metabolic rate and you try really hard to fight at our becomes something else you can do a lot of damage to your body and your psyche on a lot of levels and so this is why. It's very important for people to know that my is about creating balance where there's imbalance in anyone's unique body. It doesn't mean I am trying to make you into a teeny tiny dancer or into somebody that you're not so it the I think the passion and the spark for me started then because the counselors it at my school. Where like you know you need to eat less and just eat? Sinoe or like you know your roommates. Do Coke every night. Maybe join them. You know like really know and I just you know for whatever reason my mom I I was raised in a way that thank goodness I never had an eating disorder. I it was never an option or a consideration for me and I never did drugs. I wasn't like in me to do it right I do drink though that anyway so I I felt the I felt what it felt like to not be able to get your body to be something else in a healthy way and I. My mom worked three jobs to put me through school and I had an I joined crunch. I I did pilates with Ron Fletcher. And I was like. She was like scraping. Pennies together. Knows a distinct. How pilates is going to help me if I do step aerobics. And this and that an and nothing would change my body to where I mean. Sure like fitness. When you're working out you feel good. A lot of things can happen but and I was a really good performer. Too so a lot of people. I think in fitness because they can't perform really well. They don't get the calorie spend that you would need to actually start burning real fat so the Diet and the workout have to go so so closely intertwined you know anyway so I tried all these things and then I MY SON. Who's twenty one? his dad played for the New York Knicks? And he was like I love your booty. I don't know why you need to be like. Let's have babies and I'm like yeah. Why always wanted to be a mom that was given and coming from Indiana? We've become moms at twenty three. Because that's what I and but actually it was such a gift because Eric you know when you play for the New York Knicks. If you have an injury you get the best treatment and the entire world. So he was sent we. I spent my pregnancy with Salmon Puerto Rico and with this league that he was rehabbing his back with and I met an incredible incredible doctor who was so passionate about sports and he was like Have you seen Concussion with will Smith Gasoline. Okay so the only difference between will Smith's character in that and finding that protection for NFL players was Desai was an avid basketball fan avid. And he was like these guys are going to end up in Lisi boy recliners for the rest of their lives. No one's thinking about their spines. You know there's a better way to train for the to support their spines BUBBA and I was like I was either going to rescue all of the homeless animals in Puerto Rico or I was going to figure out how to help this guy and I went to his little clinic every day and He had done a mind blowing research on the inner spine muscles. And how the brain is connected and how you don't have to to like if you go. After the transitional muscles in a healthy way like and all the strategic muscle exhaustion. And it's miraculous what we can do and it made so much sense to me because I was like well man if we can make ourselves freakishly large like these bodybuilders. Do or or then I went. I dissect it literally every pro sports like speedskaters for the Olympics or runners. Long distance runners. If you look at people at the top of their game their bodies start to look very similar. Because you're calling to action the same kind of muscles and if you've got that willpower behind it you can really do incredible things with your body. So I studied with him this whole time and I started creating the choreography to support his science and I was like this is incredible and I said wait a minute. Why are we stopping at the back? If you can do this for the back why. Why can't we create this kind of balance and symmetry for the whole body? And he's like no one's ever gonNA come up without much content and I was like I fully em and then I. I did a five year. Study on one hundred and fifty women that I went to Indiana University. I was like how do I do a study? How do I didn't know how to do things and I think one of the things that so corrupt about the fitness industry? Today is that people and I hate to even think that I would be part of this problem which is why I stopped training. Celebrities years ago I literally was like I'm not even higher help oversee their programming come to the gym just like every body else not because I don't love them as people or or what they can. The kind of awareness they can bring forward is so great too. It's because it sends a toxic message to everyone out there that you should want to do what they want to do. Because you want to be them instead of wanting to do what's right for your own health and your own body and In the industry now people think if there they can move or they look good and they get a celebrity all of a sudden they have a method. And I'm like you got method. You gotTA fitness met. The how'd you get word that words all that like research research and I know what it took me and how I was just think naturally without without my ego attached to it because I really didn't think I have permission to be doing this. I just wanted to go back to schools like juilliard or whatever and go. Here's a program you can give these girls where they're not stuffing suppositories up their bum at night and bleeding like you know like it's terrible. It's terrible environment and it's really toxic and So I did the five. You're studying throughout the five year study. I had asked one question. My question was can I take any woman from any genetic background and turn them into what a dancer like looks like so I started from a place that didn't end up wanting to I didn't end up there. But that's that was like this is my mission and as did it I realized. Oh My Gosh. Like all of these. Women are in so many different various levels of pain and they're also unique and then I was like well and also they don't all WanNa go dancers and they don't all they just WanNa you know feel good or on this or and also you can. You can put a bunch of people ask them to do a routine and the same thing is not going to happen to all those

How Tyson Fury Defeated Deontay Wilder In the Ring and Outside of It
"Talking a little bit about this story that we got into in one of our episodes last week Where British box Tyson fury mistaken on American deontay wilder and we all know the from the last episode wilder claimed that he lost the fight because he had put on this big heavy suit of armor to hype the fight and his walk into the ring he had to wear this and it was a forty pound cost. You Mia no one bought it. Let's just say that. But he's sitting in heavy legs as a result. Basically a guy didn't want to give credit to his opponent. Yeah it'd be. It'd be a little different. It'd be a little different Steve. If it was a figure skater. Who said that to wear forty pounds thing or a gymnast fucking heavyweight boxer? You know carry four hundred pounds anyway. That's initially stupid. Go ahead yeah. So fury on the other hand Well his preparations for the fight. We're kind of interesting he. He actually boldly predicted he'd knocked wilder at within the first two rounds and he was right he did but he also revealed that his preparation for the fight is bizarre side. Evan Peikon on Harnessing Energy System Feedback for Optimal Individualization of Strength, Size and Endurance Training
"Evan. Welcome to the show today. Thanks for being here. Yeah thanks for having me none. So what Let's start off by you. Giving us a little information on what your what. Your background is as not just just to coach and what you do in the educational space but also your background is an athlete. In what will cut you into this whole thing. In the first place I come from a track and field and cross country background. The my best was the hundred meters so my entire interest with everything that I'm doing now. Kind of stemmed from competing in track and field cross country in selfishly smart to do whatever. I could to improve my own performance I'd kind of our rocky competitive career to say the least kind of bumping into some injuries a lot of bouts of Kinda slamming my head against the wall and maybe not seeing the progress that I wanted to so after spending a lot of years gone through that I kind of stepped out of competing in that sport and start to transition into cross fit and using all the different things I learned along the way and then that naturally led me to coaching athletes in this sport now being involved with an organization that works with athletes sent a handful of different sports as you say with. Us Air Davis or something about the eight hundred eight hundred runners and and Deok sedation and and lactate and everything that goes in those energy systems that I think I think the eight hundred really lends itself well to being that event that kind of sparks curiosity. Because even you're standing on the starting line of Eight hundred meter. Obviously the people. Listening can't Sean Belgium. Not a huge dude. But you're on the eight hundred starting line and you guys that are built like me the kinds of look like two miles or five characters and you look to the left you. There's a dude who's built one hundred meters sprint and probably is forty pounds on you in all of your kind of running the same times in off the bat. That doesn't really seem like it makes that much sense. Like in the hundred meters sprinter week. Probably Guess WHO's GonNa win that pretty easily if we bump it up to the two mile. We know who's going to win. But they entered meters kind of weird intersection where you have completely different body types competing in it and I think that lends itself to trying to figure out why that is like wisest dude that has forty pounds on me holding his ground or Wise Dude. Who is half my size out kicking me in the last fifty meters yeah. It's it's one of those races that even in my first days homicide probably was reading about this in high school just because I was the weird kid in the track that who brought brought along the USA Track and field. Coaching Manual Dan. O'brien on the Front of remembers that book but I remember saying that the eight hundred is the one I mean. There's all the events to an extent for sure I think the four hundred two and then I think the further you get away from that center. I think the more similar events probably can be trade for some level although there certainly are similar or differences at all levels. But it was like you look at. Arthur leader training. I mean people like Peter Snell at high. You can do high mileage eight hundred trading low mileage eight hundred trading something works. The training could be so radically different for all these different athletes on what produces the best result and it seemed like. That's that event in that the minute forty five to two minute. Maybe a little bit over two minute timespan that you just get these massive massive training differences and I think that really taps into understanding like wooden athletes to watch limitation is because even if we think of something like that really high trotting there's appeared rows really obsessed with that concept because I was reading all the Arthur yards. Stop in Highschool. I'm telling my coach like we need to run a hundred miles a week. Where training at third year forty miles a week? Which is pretty moderate volume for someone dabbling eight hundred to a mile in understanding. Now with all the things that I've seen working with like are pretty diverse body of athletes. You tend to see for example if someone has like if we would call a good delivery imitations limited. By cardiac output versus someone who's limited by Oxygen Utilization? The muscle few take something like Really High Volume Zero. Bec- training and you give it to both of those athletes. You might see the athlete with deliver in the meditation making improvements. And you see the athlete was limited by Oxygen Utilization. The muscle doesn't do anything for them. So you have one camp saying like this is the greatest thing I've ever seen the other campaign like that doesn't do anything and the reality is both of those. Statements are completely factual. Like what is one man's junk volume is the other man's greatest tool in his arsenal. And I think you could really say that about anything. In the training worlds because performances marriage of an athlete's physiological predisposition and the event demands. So I think any training protocol might or might not improve that athlete's performance and I think having that layer of individualization is kind of the next step in the training world instead of having these camps like Kito works hit works long. Slow endurance works like everything. Works for someone. It's always the person that works for always becomes the Messenger and and or the athlete. Who loved this type of trading when they were competing and it's all their athletes are going to do that and again in in I think the further you get away from the eight hundred four hundred the the more maybe that could be okay on some level. I think it's got depth of those four hundred eight hundred athletes. I don't know I mean I think a good strong training culture. Sometimes you can overcome pieces of that But I I was. I'm really curious. You just mentioned something. It was Delivery Verse Oxygen Delivery Versus Utilization. What what are the I mean? It sounds pretty straightforward. But could you get into the differences between those two? How do you measure those? How do you tell if someone when they're doing aerobic work should be Could be doing the long slow distance like junk miles like you say if they want to improve their aerobic system. That does not really help them. It's not a low hanging fruit. Yes so the way that I think about it. Alkies factory analogy for sports performance. So we imagine like we have all car factory and let's say were using hot wheels. Cars said super simple. Put them together. Maybe we like paint the hot wheels car. We slap the wheels on but the doors. I don't know how these things are made In out of all those steps putting the doors on the is by far the slowest step so we WANNA get more cars out of our factory. It's going to be a complete waste of time to paint the cars quicker steering wheels quicker instead. We want to put all our efforts to get in those doors on faster. Because that's the rate limiting step. The same thing applies in any energetic sport out of all of the different processes occurring simultaneously in our body like God knows how many there are thousands of things happening at the same time. There's really only a small handful of them. That really impact our performance in a meaningful way. So we make it really reductive. Each user have could have their own sub components we have the respiratory system is a limiter and what that's going to do an ideal world that allows you to get out to into the body ended allows you to get co two out of the body we have. We had like muscular oxidative capacity or oxygen utilization so once the board not to get into the tissue s the ability to pull the oxygen off of the hemoglobin headed into the Mitochondria and use it for energy production. Then I say delivery but other people you say cardiac output I just like the term delivery because s science in Nigeria. And that's once you get oxygen into the blood of the Alveoli through the respiratory system. That's cutting it to the working muscle. So as you're going to be the three primary energetic winners that were going to be

"We have a but that is going to make you is go bananas Most beautiful woman who has earned earned every ounce of that. Booty Hilary. Loftus is a trainer at lift tonic. You've heard me talk about it. We've had redone on the owner of the gym. I love this and you know what if you are thinking that you can't get the ass that you want in two thousand twenty. Let me tell you just take a look at this. I Hillary. I just can't even with you. You look phenomenal Ryan before you signed on. Hillary was just saying that she got a spray Tan. So Ryan loves spray TANS. Yeah I mean I feel like it's very tan fixes like most of my problems. You know feeling really sad about things too. And I'm like you know things are not that bad. It is addicting. And it's definitely mood altering I I agree with you. One Hundred Percents Hillary. I'm so excited to have you on You know I love I love love. Love your classes at lift Hanoch One of the things that I love is your so positive and when admit it was like about a year ago I signed onto your instagram right. I'd started taking classes and I was so amazed by how number one number one how banging your body as can we just like a can we but also how how body positive you are and You we are really interesting story. You started in fashion before fitness. Can you tell us about that Yeah I went to a fashion design high school and then the natural progression was just to go to fit And then I did a bachelor's. It didn't love working in fashion I think it's when you're younger and you start doing fashion. You have this idealized version of what you think. The fashion industry is and then you get there and you're like yeah that's not it at all. I got into interior design And I loved it but like I can't handle sitting at a desk all day And I just knew that wasn't for my personality And then so I was like all I will try real estate because it's not like a hip hop skip and a jump from interior design. China you can feed your own apartments while that But you know it's just like some people can do that some people can't and it's like I didn't love it either and eh time. I started really weightlifting And then that became the highlight of my day and I kind of accidentally fell into it. I just if if you don't mind I wanNA share some of these instagram. And if you're listening to US right now it's worth it to go over and check this out. I'm first of all. This is lift tonic. This is where I met. Were you are one of the instructors. But get ready folks. Because y'all I mean you law Oh and I'm just GONNA get right to it. I will show you the picture that I was like. I mean. Can we just for doc girls angles lighting. I'm telling you but I mean yeah no I mean honestly it should everyday you gotta work at so an excuse me for saying this. Your ass is incredible and it looks one hundred percents real and it is you look strong and I love this representation of beauty because unsexy. This is my favorite. Because you look so healthy and you look I i. I'm sure you do to maintain to maintain that You have to. Yeah but I mean can I not to sound cheesy but you're wasting snatched the tiniest little waste of I. I think people would be very surprised at how much smaller their waste can get If they just eat differently Yeah Yeah I mean yeah. I stayed in entirely huge role in. How big your weight like most of the time? If you feel like it's your waistline that is the issue but that is where most tissue live that is all diet like lately ruin through Diet and now I do remember there was a post and I am not gonNa dig through them. We'll leave this one up here. We're you mentioned that. And this is what I love about your body positively. You mentioned that you were weightwise some of the heaviest that you'd been win but yet twenty four inch waist. And that's what I want to really focus on today. You know you you you really spread this message of like you eat you out. Well you know tell us what. What is your philosophy on on lifting weights Okay so let's a little preface so when I ms in fashion design I started going to college I was like about a hundred pounds right And I'm five five So when I was the heaviest I was as you know and I had a tiny ways and I would think that pretty much across the board like I feel like most people would say that I looked healthier and happier on heavier weight. Had different dimensions. Completely I was a hundred and thirty eight hundred dollars. One hundred and forty pounds. That's kind of a big like thirty eight pounds of muscle and fat. I mean you have to have both But I theory behind weightlifting. Is You gotta be consistent about and that is with anything with Diet and with your working out. 'cause I mean I'm sure if you're watching probably read that somewhere But it really in fact like if you are consistent about something show up for yourself make time And it's not just about thinking that one class it's nice like give you that that body Like if you look at me and you're like wow. Her body is great. You know it's not just coming to class twice a week and thinking that that's going to do the job because you know you really have to spend that time focusing on your food as well you know and that takes time and like planning on us. They've got the hardest part. So how many days a week are you in the gym. While I I work at one almost every day but I would say I way chain five days a week. Yeah how an a percentage ratio right. So if you were to say would you say it's seventy percent diet thirty thirty percent exercise or would you say it's twenty percent exercise eighty percent diet. Yeah totally I think that Diet. Save an disgusting disgusting roll like no one wants to hear it. It's like people work out so that they can eat more. I do eat more but you have to kind of like hit strict about how much more food you're eating like I can. I can eat a lot of Sushi. Cheap meals are insane So Caen most grown men under the table but you're also working out incredibly in your lifting really heavy and I on personal trainer her. I'm standing on my feet all day. I'm running back and forth from classes and studio I train at So it's just I'm I'm very active like all day
