"Bill Belichick may need to do this. Get what he wants Post Tom Brady in year two. We'll talk about that in about five minutes real quick before we get into other's matters, all the events going on affecting the Timberwolves, the Twins and Minnesota while deciding not to play tonight, our thoughts and prayers with those in Minneapolis and then I will stress these three words. Please stay calm. We don't need any more of protests going the wrong way of going sideways that we've seen in previous times like, Look, I don't like I love with all the professional sports franchises did in Minnesota. Freddie saying, Hey, We're going to shut everything down right now. And, you know, and thoughts and prayers go out to the family, and they'll crank it back up when they feel necessary. But I'm with you, Freddie. You know that. Those three words you just ordered spot on Police take home. Believe me, it's a lot better state common have a thought process than the God that all knee jerk and willy nilly and then creating more ajina than what people are dealing with right now involving the death involving another police shooting, But we can weigh in on Twitter. We love to see you have to say you can always hit us up with Coleman, ESPN and Infinity ESPN during our attention back to sports, especially National Football League. Julius Julian Adam. Excuse me will not be a part of the NFL least for the near future. Not even the far future. The Patriots had a chance to bring him in again to see if he's going to be healthy. He wasn't healthy enough. He decided to call it a day he decided to retire mean it can't mean occam's Excuse me from ESPN had this say about its impact on the game with shoes on today and golden Junior earlier today, it is worth taking a moment to celebrate his career and obviously You know not only what he meant to the Patriots, but also how he changed the game. The position the role of the slot receiver. That to me is fascinating. And when I think about him, and I'll always think about That, you know, just watching that new generation of both slot receivers and slot cornerback in the NFL. I'll disagree with her from the standpoint of slot receivers with doing this long before he did it. Nothing against him. Nothing is what she said. But Wayne Walker, wait. Wes Welker. Excuse me was doing for the Patriots. Wayne Chrebet was doing this for the New York Jets. Julian Element had unbelievable story, seventh round pick And everybody told her how I was able to be a self made player at a different position consumed. He played quarterback in college. I hear meaning, saying about his impact, but they're a couple of dudes. That will like that one for Julian. Adam was able to do that to great effect with the New England Patriots. He almost took were Walker did and that seem uniformed and just took it to another level. And Wes Welker was absolutely outstanding. I remember when he came over for the Miami Dolphins in that trade was like All right. What is this really going to do for New England? And I could not have been more incorrect to me. West. Walker was absolutely sensational. And then he and he was undervalued. Coming out of Texas Tech. Absolutely. Same thing. He would. Julian Edelman, you mentioned quarterback Kent State, and this is what Bill Belichick has got to get back to finding guys like this. Because he saw an unbelievable, uncanny ability to not just make the first guy missed. But the 2nd and 3rd guy in adamant that thinking he could be an outstanding return man and maybe a receiver, but more of a special teams guy, But it was his instinct and running ability. May Bill Belichick with pick number 2 30 to all those years ago, a 12 13 years ago. Go and get settlement as kind of a project going way. Had this envelope over here, Right? Who really played Well, Name? Call it. Let's go. Let's go get somebody for the Lollypop Guild. Right? Continues E give because I care, man. He what he did on the field was I mean, It was remarkable to watch. He's got one of the most iconic plays in Super Bowl history. He's got rings plural over a decade in the league drew be exact 12 years in As a little unknown quarterback right out of Kent State that made a remarkable career for himself. Heck of a ride, chronic knee injury As finally said, You know what? That's it? It's over and he's at peace. I love the video that he put out forever. Fox borrow But he's one of those players that Bella checks got to start hitting on again because he hasn't in a long time. I don't have so much hitting on it as guys maybe outperforming their draft position. When it comes to doing element. Let's be honest, he alternates Tom Brady as 1/6 round pick. Maybe it's not so much Bill Belichick finding those diamonds in the rough but hoping that those diamonds in the rough will outperform where they were drafted at with the Patriots by somebody else. That's your strategy going forward. You're the Patriots. That may not work too much. What Isabella chick always do. Trading back. He wants all those 3rd 4th 5th 6th round picks mean And maybe he got spoiled with hitting on something of our early on. Absolutely that he may need to change up the way he approaches the draft. Maybe just stand pat for once and take the best player that falls to you at 15. He used to hit on the elements. Ah, lot now. Not so much now. Yeah, go back. We talked about it a lot, Freddy. Go back and look for the last four or five drafts. Even his owner is saying, We've got to get the draft right because they've got it wrong so many times and They have hit on the elements of the world in a while, but no matter what, just going back to Julian remarkable career. He's not a Hall of Famer, folks. I saw that argument earlier today, His career is not even cold and people weighing in on his hall of Fame worthy or not worthy nous. He had one of the greatest Rises from college football Unknown No..

San Francisco 49ers trade up for the No. 3 pick

"The forty niners trade up to number three overall in the twenty twenty one draft. This was shocking. News to me. Came out right after my episode released on saturday or on friday after i sent over my episode but i normally just was not expecting Draft news to come this early. I feel like most years. The draft news comes a lot closer to the draft is still three or four weeks away but the forty niners did in their aggressive so they traded the twelfth overall. Pick a twenty twenty two third round compensatory pick and first round picks in twenty twenty two and twenty two thousand three for the miami dolphins number three overall selection so the dolphins moved to twelve where the four nine were previously listed. And now the forty niners move up to three. So what does this mean. First of all they swap a total of three first round picks. Is that smart to do. I think it is if they liked the guy. If they're convinced on one of these quarterbacks enough and they're confident that they can get them at number three. I think it's a great move because at this point the forty niners roster is loaded. They're trying to win now. And all they need is that future franchise cornerstone to kind of move that what roster forward and push them over the hump so they need to get the future of the franchise right while the roster and core are relatively young and talented like they are but overall. I think this is a great move by four hundred. Gm john lynch because he's been aggressive. He really inherited a mess in two thousand seventeen. They were coming off all the colin kaepernick drama Jim thome soula era. Which was a fun was which was really fun while it lasted Brian hoyer was his first quarterback when he got there he's made aggressive moves since he treated for jimmy garoppolo drafted. George kittle has fifth round. Pick one of the better draft picks in the past three four years. That's happened for five years. That's happened in the nfl. Just in terms of the value that he got that late in the draft

Simulators and How They're Making Aviation Safer

"Ashley. Can you tell us a little bit about the league in the league's mission. Yeah for short. So are all started in twenty fifteen all with the aspirated of creating a global professional sport from drum racing. Susan fired by a video. That at the time was going viral with two drones kind of racing through a in france. We looked at that and said there's something here we really wanna turn this into a global sport so set off on the nation to do exactly that since then we've done event all over the world from singapore to france to the uk to all over the us and we've raised in palaces we've raised in the legs of dolphins stadium we been at ballparks and a host of different venues from kind of abandoned malls to places that are really established we are watched by millions of viewers across the globe with their global broadcast partners and we also have a simulator that we have designed and built ourselves all with the effort to kind of increase the pool of people that are interested in drones gotta teach everyone how they can fly themselves you mentioned was similarly excited. How long has that been around now. This thin has really been around since we started from day one. We very quickly realized that. There's high barrier to entry to racing drowns pilots who fly s. p. or first person view. They build their own drums. If you crash it in you don't know how to repair it yourself. You're out of luck. And so we really set out to create a platform that would not only teach people how to fly drowns and kind of develop the muscle memory on the stitz but would also provide has a low risk environment so that you can go out and crash countless infinite numbers of times on the sim. And you never have to worry about the fact that you've crashed into a tree or flown into a pool and that you can't use it any longer so it really was about. How do we get more people involved in flying and seeing that as an avenue in a way for people to get that more involved in the racing part of drums.

San Francisco 49ers, Miami Dolphins and Philadelphia Eagles Make NFL Draft Trades

"Not in season. But March has been mad for the league, especially this week here, Schefty with what all went down. What happened here is that the 40 Niners have been trying to move up in the draft into the top five, frankly, for the last few weeks now, and they were able to cold together a deal with the Miami Dolphins at the same time that the Dolphins were going together a separate deal. With the Philadelphia Eagles that enabled the 40 Niners toe move up the third overall position to take a quarterback. And that means in all probability that we're gonna have quarterbacks go with the first three picks in this draft. We would think Trevor Laurence goes one Zack Wilson to and then the 40. Niners would have their choice. Assuming they stand three for the third quarterback in this draft. I would not dismiss Mack Jones in that conversation. Like Trey, Lance. They like Justin Fields. They're going to continue to do more and more work here in the weeks leading up to the draft, but they wanted to get into this slot now. So that they could have their choice at three. Knowing that they would get one of these quarterbacks a lot of people then wonder what happens to Jimmy Garoppolo. Sure, they're gonna be trading him right? Not so fast, because they believe that this is a Super Bowl caliber roster, and they're not ready to hand that roster toe a young rookie quarterback who's unproven just yet. So in their minds today, Jimmy Garoppolo is going to be a quarterback and opening day, and that's not a leverage play. That's not them trying to bait another team into giving up more compensation for Jimmy Garoppolo. Their true honest plan today is to have Jimmy Garoppolo as the starting quarterback. Have the first round draft pick that they take a quarterback learn for a year and then eventually it will be his job in San Francisco going forward. We have

In this year's draft. The Miami Dolphins will pick it six and the San Francisco 40 Niners have moved all the way up to number three in the 2021

Three-Time Super Bowl Champion James White Re-Signing With Patriots

"About the real world. Now Greg a couple of big re-signings yesterday. I think both of them to me was a you know, they were a surprise I do not expect James White to be back. I thought that ship had sailed. Apparently, it had not white back on a one-year deal about 2 and 1/2 2 and 1/2 months guaranteed your thoughts on that decision by white and that decision by the Patriots. Yeah. I was I was a little bit surprised by this everything that I had heard up till now I pointed to White going to Florida where his mom is still I think recovering from the car accident that she had in September with her husband James bit dead or he he died as a result of his injuries. And so that was a pretty traumatic thing for him all year. And and there were a lot of people around the NFL who thought he was destined first from Miami, but then it looks like that was dead. Happened for some reason I think and we've sort of talked about this Nick in in. Oh, I know I talked about on felger & Mazz a got the south Florida media all abuzz, you know people are calling me and you know throwing bombs and things like that, but from what I've heard, let's just say that the a lot of Patriots are not getting good feedback on what's going on with the dolphins and really revealing around a lot of people is if you end up with the dolphins, you're straight going for the bag and Adam Butler I think signed with them this year probably was his best offer. I think Al and Roberts just signed back. I don't know how many offers he had butt off, you know, we'd really didn't hear James his name with the dolphins very much during this free agency. There was a there was a hint at it early on and then from what I heard dead. White was basically signed sealed and delivered to the Box because that's what Brady wanted and Brady

"Gonna move on briefly to addition watson because you know what we promised. We'll give you the shawn watson update every day and we will do that because it changes every day. What number we now here. A colonic sixteen. Yeah it is. What's fourteen lawsuits. Isn't it to. Because the time this thing drops people listen numbers rate in this situation. I think at this point where We're past the point of needing to get the data on the information now at true affords like we're at. Are you a predator or not zone. Like that's i don't know. I haven't read a the guy in the houston. Chronicle his name wilson yet. Yup does he still think sixteen are lining up to make a deal. How silly was that premise. That people still want to trade from no one would trade anything form. They wouldn't take him for nothing. The miami dolphins new york jets new england patriots niners broncos. None of them would take to shawn watson for nothing. They didn't win. Give you a thing for the shawn watson because this guy has a problem. He's not who we thought he was. I'm ready to jump to conclusions and say he was inappropriate with many many women and he had a fetish couldn't just be one or two. He wanted to do this to a number women because he probably enjoyed the challenge. Enjoyed the danger of it. All and today mike florio from pro football taco used to be a lawyer. He's got a piece saying what he would do if he you know because a lot of people ask them. What would you do if he hired you. He didn't hire florio. Had tony busby. Who's either a A lawyer or a the most incredible conman the most credible Shakedown artist of all time. Because he's the one who's updating every day with the number of masseuses who are charging accusing deshaun watson of inappropriate behavior. But but but two things two things here. He gives all this advice florio and it's reasonable. He said he'd sit down and try to get all the women or their representative in a room to make one big settlement trying to make it all. Go away with one big paycheck that they could and they clearly are looking for that because they're not having gone to the cops which brings me to point number two and end to the point where they try to basically extort him out of thirty one of them tried to extort him out of thirty grand in january. I believe i'm not sure that's extortion. If you're saying will agree not to charge you and these are hard working people at working class girls. Maybe who and by way are people like julia to cairo in on people like Niece smelly they waiting to see what race these women are. Because they haven't had much to say about this yet. But i assume they are. They going to wait and see what race they are and then they decide how they feel about it. Which is madness.

"Is disgruntled in Houston. But that's just the football aspect of night ago. He was also swinging back at the filing of a lawsuit against him alleging inappropriate conduct during massages. That lawsuit filed Tuesday. Then on Wednesday, a second lawsuit by a second planet Though both lawsuits are filed by the same attorney. The second suit, claiming Watson's behavior is quote part of a disturbing pattern of preying on vulnerable women. John McClane from the Houston Chronicle. And what we have your two of the most renowned the parties in the country. Rusty Harden, a turning to the superstars in sports. And Tony Busby, who is a wealthy developer Rooms, a law firm has been on the cover of New York Times Magazine. He's tell May all Head here. He's the one that's filed two lawsuits on the half of plaintiffs, one here and one in Atlanta, charging inappropriate sexual behavior and watchin retained Rusty Harden. His list of clients is extremely long, and he's an outstanding attorney. And so we haven't seen a response from Watts and since the lawsuit Became public and the Texans and the NFL had the response. You would expect they're aware of it. They're gathering information. And so I have no idea. What direction it's going to go. How would affect other teams that they would lowball? The Texans is something's that back away. But you know this pretty. They're gonna want these issues resolved. It was NFL investigate. And that could take a long time. Antonio Brown's has still not been resolved since last off season. So there's so much out there, Freddy about which direction it could go. And right now, nobody has any idea when I say the word timing regarding all of this. What do you say? Bad, bad timing for everybody all around bad for the Texans when they want to maximize what they can get from Watson. I've been saying they should pick the Jets and the Dolphins 2nd 3rd in the first round against each other. I have seized rivals and get the maximum deal. You know their stories about Carolina willing toe. Sacrifice the farm to get into the problem with the Panthers. There's eight overall pick, and there's no guarantee of getting a franchise quarterback that general measure necessary a likes. And so there's other reports. He wants to go to Denver. I don't know why. And then San Francisco. I can't understand wanting to play for Palestinian, but they got Jimmy Garoppolo. For while there was talk of Washington, But Washington has solved this problem, at least with free agents. So This to me is not good for watching and it's not good for the Texans.

Open Water Swimming with Simon Murie

"Salmon. Really good to have you on the podcast list of all. Tell us how open water swimming began for you. Yes a my mouth. Was i High beau daiva sermon. Her as i was a kid used to cheese tightly diving my father was. He was a surf lifeguard from sydney and the night by came over here to the uk so he had a love of open water swimming and then my mammals. I love swimming in the thames. Eat so although the diving didn't work on may cheese. She posted with take me down the thames muslim holidays in our members sitting on the banks of the thames she'd have a radio times manip- picnic blanket and the radio radio full blasting all day. Sit next still with a couple of comex and would sort of sit there and go swimming in in the thames. Every sort of our next to the fishermen and this was in the nineteen seventies early nineteen eighty s when open water. Swimming was definitely not the sole the trendy thing it is now anyway. Something obviously sold of rubbed off there. So let's say it's down to both my mom and my dad that a soda had they sold of facination and interesting in open water swimming and i think the first significant swim that got my interest was the heliport in turkey which was made famous by lord byron swimming across it who actually swam it in honor of leandra who in greek mythology would swim across the halas bonds with laba hero hero on the european side at a cost of sesto us and she would hold out a torch which would then leander who was on the asian side in a causal obidos with swim across she would hold out the torch they would do their thing and then he later. That would swim back and then one night storm blew and heroes. Torch was extinguished and leander lost. His way and was drowned is body washed up underneath. Assess council and hero seeing his body through us. Help off the call cell and died alongside lander and that was the tragic love story of heroes leander and byron's recreated that swim and with a lieutenant colonel and head was the first person to swim the allison and i remember reading a poem. The byron did and also mining engineer at the time in northern nigeria on the border with nigeria and was remember reading a schoolboy but then i remember being up in this And a long way from any water and thinking was my passion in life really enjoy doing and our member. I loved swimming. And i always enjoy finding most bizarre places to swim and i remember reading that poem from byron and thinking you know what when i turned thirty. That's what i'm gonna do. And so when i did tend to that. That's what i did a win over to northwestern turkey and went to the town of genetically and managed to find pilots and get various permissions anita day military commission because the halas is also known as the dardanelles famous military campaign in world war. One and it's straight across from gallipoli. I needed military permission from the army but also the navy and also permission from the coast guard and the town council. It took me a week to get the permission and find the piler and about just over now to swim it so that token balance of time with hassle and everything and made me think there must be other people out there who want to do these fantastic swims around the world. But don't wanna deal the admin. Don't wanna deal the organization and safety support not was all so that was my love of of motor swimming blossom then but also the idea behind what i do today which swimming track which is taking allowing these fantastic swim. So that's where the idea came from far across a telephone digit. How how many well the nearest point. It's it's just kilometer across from europe to asia but if you're headed out from those castles kill it. The here is one of the council's as which was i- falsify during the dolphin those campaign in world war one. You started out from there. You would quickly be washed out into the mediterranean. So you've got to start off a lot higher up to start off at the town of bat and get pushed down as you swim across. You've moved down with a current toward the mediterranean but also towards the ancient city of troy. And you end up naeway. Troy is and you get washed down so you in effect. You're probably swimming three and a half kilometers but the journey you've got one is about five kilometers per year. Probably doing an effective swim of three and a half kilometers across you to judge a lot of boats and things like that on the way. Well funnily enough the day. I did it back in two thousand a managed to find his pilots and get the commissions and stuff but the pilot doors did site me. You might have the permissions but we still going to be going off at four o'clock in the morning when the coast guard. Don't start. They shifted six so we started very early in the morning and literally i remember waiting off the coast and the pilot just waiting there as quickly looked up and down the hellas. Ponto about anals to see if there's a break in the traffic and when there was a break in the traffic he gave me the signal as all standing on the shoal and basically told me to swim swim. It's a very busy botero. This is the same traffic that goes towards crimea and into the black sea and he stumble says all those boats. They're going through this very narrow waterway. So yes we had to get a move on when we saw break in the traffic having having done this you then. There are other people out there who would like to do this without the hospital organization. So that's really how swim track begun it. Yes i think so. And i i was passionate about going to play season. Sorta discovering them by swimming. I think what i loved also was this idea of arriving at a landmass under your own steam and looking back and seeing wave arrived from so to speak. I think arriving somewhere. And you've powered yourself. There makes you appreciate somewhere in a way. The somebody say who's arrived by ferry or by bokang possibly do it similar to say hiking up snowdon. Those who've hiked up snowden and those who arrived on the train i think appreciate the summit into totally different ways and i think the same is when you swim from ireland's weiland immersed yourself in the medium of getting there. I think you appreciate way. You've arrived so much more than if you'd sort of got there by plane all binds terry and that's where i get my pleasure out soul and i think people who join us also get not sorta pleasure

Miami Dolphins owner Stephen Ross shares his life story

"American stories and with the story of an American classic Stephen Ross is the largest real estate developer in America, the owner of the Miami Dolphins. And he shared his life story with our own Alex Cortez. Stephen Ross is a Detroiter born and bred until his parents dragged him against his will. Midway through his freshman year of high school from Miami Beach, Florida hated it down there, actually. And I kind of rebelled against my parents and E got toe little trouble. I mean, I mean, I suppose is studying, you know, go out. Quick. Give me a little bit, You know, I mean, I had a you know everything but study even though my parents really Try to be strict. You know, my father lectured all the time. As opposed because he was working and then he'd lecture me. I guess it didn't do any good, You know, but its ultimate I guess it's something e. I don't know. E wanted to get out of there. I went toe. My parents said. Well, if you're gonna leave, you don't want to go to school here. You have to go to military school. It's fed about four days of military schools that I go back to school, you know? And e talk to most of my friends. I mean, probably my background was probably different than most, because I've never excelled early in life, and I was We got into college because they had to accept me because I had a standardized test that I Scored well enough that the school had to take you and they flunked out two thirds of the freshman class. They tell you looking at left and looking. You're right. The person sitting next you won't be here next year and So you know, kind of a wake up call. But I also knew if I wanted something we didn't I wasn't doing anything for my parents. I wasn't left anything and they had nothing to give me. You know, so I knew Where was you know is either sink or swim? And then when I got to college, that's when I really kind of started to be able to do well to receive Florida then so I could transfer to Michigan and then law school and then I got my masters in tax law. Which I excelled in, and it's probably the best year of school I ever had. That really had found something enjoyed. It always get good marks. If I liked it, you know, I didn't like the subject. I didn't do very well. Confidence. I mean, you know, you have to first find your confidence. That you can succeed and do something well, Excel. Continue on me, as they say Success breeds success. Mean, teachers told my parents. They were wasting time sending me to college, which is really kind of funny, right when I look back at it now, So I mean, I look at myself I was the way it started. Life because it Probably spread about the least likely to succeed in my ass school class, you know? So you tell me how much teachers don't wouldn't so the environment of which were brought up on me Even when your parents As much as my parents emphasized that and I could see things Was really later that I really saw things a lot more clearly, you know, after getting his master's degree it and why you Stephen went back to his hometown to work in an accounting firm as a tax attorney. I was doing very well practicing law on it. You know, certain places really kind of funny. It's kind of impulsive. I'm in my office one day was, in fact, I remember I could still picture Was June's thing was true. Seven through 2/9 in 1968. The night before Bobby Kennedy was assassinated, and I'd watch it that night. And that next day you're wondering the life that you never know when it's over and thinking about that, you know, he was a relatively young guy and partner walks in my office and asked me If I want to go Toe seven are in New York said You know what? Haven ever thought about it, is it? I want to go. I think I want to go to New York for good. It's a matter of fact, I'm quitting a moving to New York. Never entered my mind. It never would. From my mind too. You know, I'm gonna think about leaving and I even thought about leaving. It just came up. I mean, like this so impulsive. Sometimes we don't even know ourselves. No, What's really what's going out? So you've been brought in the senior partner and may you know Steve's quit. He's leaving New York. You know, guys What I mean, Steve, you're doing great. Here. You're gonna be a partner here and blah, blah, blah. But I got bored and I could see how I was tailing off in my bite. That was just ready for something and that Z parked it. About me even thinking about it. You know, it's a lot of things you know, like we think we're in control of We're not necessarily in control of what we really don't know. It takes something takes a spark. For something to happen. I've told my mother, you don't know anybody in New York. I said, Hey, you know, I went there. I loved it. And, you know stories. If you could make it there, you can make it anywhere. Blah, blah, blah and off. I went and

"By seeing the titans finally Traded the offensive linemen. Isaiah wilson their first round pick Twenty twenty first round. Pick these kind of things you see this as a fan of a team you know. Just put yourself in their shoes for a second. I know i know they're the enemy if you're not a titans fan but the fact that your team has to trade a first round pick before the next season starts i s terrible man. It's as bad as the raiders. Have not limbaugh because they understood. What the hell. They were doing with him but he was later pick. But this guy didn't even get a chance to play. Because kobe did all that and then he calls all kinds of issues he was tweeting stuff out and delete and stuff. Titans saying get out of your man. They literally they treat him for nothing. They traded a him seventh round. Pick in two thousand twenty two for seventh-round twenty twenty one. I think just terrible it is. That's horrible man. If i was a fan of that team i'd be pissed and that's a good football team. It's a well run football team so to see that happen to them sucks. But i'm glad that they cut that in now. They got rid of that. When you when you see that kind of stuff grow him. Just get rid of it. So if you're a titans fan while you're not happy about the pick you gotta be happy about the urgency that he took the no nonsense approach to just move on from. It didn't work out. He wasn't working out. You move on cut bait and you and you move on i. I respect that quick action. You know when when is justified. When is justified. I believe it's justified in this case. So hey you know. Maybe the dolphins will have something here ability to work there. It don't look great. The dolphins take chances. That is a hell. I talked about limbaugh. They took limbaugh from the raiders to that worked out. Well so you know maybe this one workout. We'll

"The most common example in europe and later america is the werewolf accursed man who turns into a bloodthirsty beast under the full moon. The word where wolf comes from the old english rare for man and wolf for wolf. Dvd players and underworld fans. Please resist the urge to correct this to liken throat. Because they're actually different things. It has a parallel etymology from lucan therapists in the greek for wolf and human but it originally applied not to supernatural. Bc's but to people who thought they were supernatural beasts bc's according to the physician galen when people these days present with animals delusions they may be diagnosed with clinical like hanthropy like throats can transform at will and they have a more specific story than where wolves as an institution do in greek mythology lie cone the king of arcadia who got it in his head. That was not as initiatives people believed and that he was just the right guide approve it in the most popular version of the myth like cohn held a ceremony and feast to honor zeus. Zeus showed up. The main dish on the table was the roasted flesh of cones own son. Nick demus scheme being that would eat nikomas thinking it was pork thus proving. He wasn't all knowing turns out he was rather than kill like own. Outright zeus turned him into a wolf and resurrected the prince who then ascended to the throne but where wolves unlike in throats. There are half a dozen underworld films if you need more of that and even though there are many different werewolf legends in many different cultures. The Supreme Court says Donald Trump Must Provide His Tax Returns

"We're going to start today's program heading to the united states now where the supreme court has ordered donald trump to hand over his tax returns and other financial records. Trump's been resisting attempts to do so for several years. Of course well. Let's get the latest now on this. With suzanne lynch washington correspondent at the irish times Good morning to you. Suzanne good from here in london up. Bring us up to speed with the latest. What do we know. The supreme court issued a very short very significant ruling yesterday and which basically ended donald trump's attempts to shield his financial records and he is being in a battle to stop prosecutor in manhattan from getting access to his tax returns and other financial records is the second time surpreme course weighed in on this. The first time is over the issue of whether sitting president at could be shielded because road as president. But this time. Ed supreme court put it outside this decisive ad. Fees for mr trump effect. Now looks at like very much. So at these records now would have turned over to investigators new york and Mr trump's accountants perhaps bankers to will have to hand over documents related to his financial affairs and give us a sense. We obviously we had a little clip from trump at the top of the show. Easy talks about you. Know the the greatest witch hunt in history continuing Can can he fend this off in the same way. Actually he dealt with some of the bulbs that were involved in the impeachment hearings or does the fact that i guess we're looking at a judicial action potential criminal irregularities. Does that change the way that he needs to sort of Defend the charges almost. Yes i know. Yeah designed so far is up. No because yesterday he had a very very strong statement ad calling this a political persecution and calling it a fishing expedition and directly criticizing at the supreme court and and people remember. He himself pointed three of the members of the supreme court book directly criticizing the court and of course the federal prosecutors in new york Have don has kind of fallen out with new york. He moved out of the city and the dolphin clashed with officials in that city. He's obviously quite unpopular in his home town of york city on. It's the attorney general there. Sarah advanced who's reedy at take upon himself to pursue at trump for these for these charges. Say i mean we could be looking at a criminal. Trial of a former. Us president if this is to continue and is a both would way of looking at this as parts of the reason. Perhaps trump is saying. It's part of this long term witch hunt in that in congress people remember before his first impeachment and ahead of us because a lot of oversight into donald trump's at russia connections and then there was an inquiry into hush money he paid add to the adult film star stormy down one hundred thirty thousand dollars and this began this pursuit then by the new york attorney general he then decided to this payment and say what was that saying about campaign finance laws about highly payment of one hundred thirty two thousand dollars that was actually made by mike cohen. His lawyer but then he said trump in bach and this if you like your unraveled with thread of inquiry into donald trump's taxes now this is where we are am so what are the significance is about. Oh that was. Yesterday's rooting is not not only. Will they get access to his tax records but also the business and financial very detailed information that accountants bankers will have on which your tax records are based If you like. So that's going to be probably even more info important than actually getting access to his tax records. Which as you know the new york times already seem to seem quite a bit about whether we don't know how much actual detailed information they have aspect to this that i find absolutely fascinating is of course the the conflicting interests of politicians be they Members of the of the gop from the democratic movement in terms of their interests or not in trump continuing to be to be in the spotlight because there were suggestions even obviously during the impeachment proceedings clearly suited some of in the republican movement for that to just be dealt with swiftly as possible. There were also suggestions though that even for the democrats. It was kind of better that that was just dealt with. It was finished even if he wasn't convicted. Does that does that delicate balance shift. Now i is there a sense of one either side of the political spectrum if you like that actually we just don't want trump in the in the spotlight anymore. I'm actually if he can play this narrative the witch hunt that he's he's got a soapbox day people coming to him to hear from him. Is it more damaging could it be more damaging to proceed ings. Go ahead it's very possible. I mean it is very possible because as you say. Donald trump has been an easy foil for democrats over the last four years a now if he feels i think a lot of his supporters argue to sympathize with him and say that this investigation is politically motivated. Donald trump brand and it's always been problematic has been around his his business and is you his his. He sees the success of a business person and other people in these tax records seems to show that he welcomed successful as he implied. But i think would be certain that might precipitate for him from a lot of his supporters because he has said before. You know i've always just legally paid whatever talks you know. He was implying that. If i was able to game the system but you know panic attacks possible within the law with every right to do that and a lot of people would agree with on bash. So the problem is we don't actually know what is in the detail something more nefarious as there and the irs. At the criminal justice system does not look likely on talks offenses and that if he is facing criminal prosecution for this he could be in serious trouble but this was always an issue for him. I mean he didn't. He didn't disclose his tax returns around for present at most people in this country high of the fact that they do need to do that. And they're highly aware of a of their financial at connections. Even though there's a sold so much money in politics in this country in and brian politicians they do you know the important of disclosure so a lot of people may think this is catching up with him. He's a long histories of businessmen york. He's very unpopular among business. People in your because he bragged before by not paying etc and a lot of people find. This is his chickens come home to roost and yes. He had those four years in the white house. But for most it's life you the businessmen. There have every right to investigation for that date. Well i'm sure we'll show speak on this but more future. Suzanne very good to get the latest from

What they're saying: Philadelphia Eagles, Wentz or other teams — who has the leverage?

"All about away. Bought away by the way. The miami dolphins got their guy. I just meant they got us. That dude is they got a guy young guy so let's put some. what are we talking about. Let's put the question. Then this way. And by the way i would say this right now to are coordinating producer. Pete mcconville and our producer. Allie grenade. i don't understand how we do not yet have a feature called jeff saturday. Who's high this week. I mean every week jeff. Hester name that's got to become a tuesday stable. Is this week. We make a segment out of everything on this show but markets very quickly. If the dolphins get forgetting about guam if the dolphins get to shawn watson are they the biggest threat to kansas city in the afc next year. Yeah they are. And i know i say that because i saw were buffalo did. But i'm taking the sean before. I take josh allen and their defense. I'm taking miami. Defense with the sean. Look the inspire football. You play when you have a guy at that position that you know you can't win wit. It takes it to a different level. I love how floor is coaching. But i do think that sometimes going in and out with fits magic and into mayor. Put this team in kabul unknown territory. About what their identity was offensively and the defense never had a question. About what their identity. Would you bring this on. You answer that question. That's our quarterback. Raise the level of play of everybody around you. Oh and yeah let me tell you why. Because he threw for the most yards went out of number one receive on team this year. That's how good he is. Listen this is a no brainer. I would love to see desha watson and josh allen go toe-to-toe for years to come in that division and see who can make it out and then get the kansas city potentially in the afc championship bottom line in miami. They've been trying to find the next dan marino for twenty years. They thought maybe you're still may have him into a tunga vilo but shawn watson is as much more. A known commodity will see if that plays out. Meanwhile quarterback rumors are everywhere including these that the eagles wanna move carson wentz. We know that. What kind of market are they. Finding darlington has the very latest. It could be very interesting. Plus lebron james having another mvp caliber season. You'll hear why jay williams thinks he should win the academy award as well. That's on the way this is get up on. Espn do you own. Read your home share. You and i bet it can be hard work. You know it's easy bundling policies with geico geico makes it easy to bundle your homeowner's or renter's insurance along with your auto policy. It's a good thing too because you already have so much to do around your home. Go to geico dot com. Get a quote and see how much you could save. Its gyco easy visit. Geico dot com. Today that's geico dot com on. We go get up. And another of the quarterback trade sagas continues this one involving that main carson wentz whom league sources believe is on the way out of philadelphia and the eagles may also explore options with his longtime tight. Ends zach ertz. Perhaps philly could include ertz in a wentz package to maximize trade value. Words has one year and eight point. Two five million dollars left on his contract it look. There's a whole lot of speculation in jeff darlington insider here. I'll start with you as to why no deal has been worked out with wentz yet and one of the ways that i look at it from afar is maybe eagles. Just overestimate what it is. People might be willing to give up for wentz at this point when you consider the contract that he has. It's essentially the same circumstance as jared goff in los angeles and the rams had to pay a team to take him off their hands. So is that how similar or those situations and could that be. What's holding this thing up. Well very possible. Greedy speaking with a source with the eagles who certainly understand everything. That's going on with this deal. And you know the one thing that he said. I said what's the holdup here in his answers february sixteenth. Today lear doesn't even start for another month by a bunch of exclamation points and there is something certainly to that. March nineteenth is the date that they'd have to decide on paying him. That ten million dollar rostov on this. This is the runway that they're working with now. Of course you do want to make sure that you make the most of your leverage multiple teams involved. You don't wanna lose one of those teams and then Maybe cost yourself some compensation from that other team but we can point out here that This this source also told me that there is no no trade clause in carson wentz deal so it doesn't really matter say he wants to go to the colts but they're getting more compensation from the bears. They could just send him to the bears. It wouldn't be a problem

The place is absolutely so i definitely excited to jump into the work that you guys are up to that for iq but before we do that though. Tell me a little bit about you. And what inspires your work in healthcare. Yeah good question. So then what despise me the most is actually to to know that with our daily war we can Held one of the most important sectors especially during the pandemic rights so electorally have been researching about many threats started the healthcare sector industry. And you can imagine so in these last few months number of cyber attacks on threads has increased drastically right so a huge fraud industry around the health sector days with many faked buck scenes. fake news. fake news around these undamaged healthcare showed the strengthening vaccines cetera et. We sold full some fake in once in the dark web alumni longtime will show many many people have been scam ride so Sides are fake sites offering for simple face mask. This is can that we leave during the beginning of this pandemic show is absolutely motivating to work from or in this summer security and trying to help these sector. I'm also the citizen right. Yeah and i totally agree. You know it's such a shame that people take advantage of this time to take advantage of of others in a time of crisis but the reality is it's happening and so you know it's important that we we think about ways to protect ourselves. Our organizations or businesses are patients are employees. It's critical so. I'd better talk to us a little bit. About what four. I q is doing to help against some of these things in the healthcare ecosystem. Sure i say that we are helping reporting the healthcare ecosystem in three different ways so the first one is it providing awareness right so i'm personally providing some educational will be nour's meet apps it citra and fully dedicated to the health sector in order to provide on it's just allies this kind of threats on attacks and also to educate people employees within the industry right the healthcare industry nor to avoid those kind of attacks again on risks. So that the second thing is that a with our pro dolphin so we have really brought up offering going on foreign as you said dude might might presentation really focused on identity protection so we have our very compelling if not the best quality in protecting the identity align percents Uncompromised data on also with another pra languages protection which is essentially covering many use cases Shown to dr. Web monitoring broncos take sean etcetera show we have a compelling solution that is helping us to detect again threads and half also the castle some early diction capabilities. is protecting not only the what we traditionally do in many of the companies protecting the network tonight. "The dolphins have Chan gailey has resigned as dolphins offensive coordinator now. The news for many is that john. Kelly was the dolphins offensive coordinator. But i am telling you he is just resigned. So how about that some local news here. Miami dolphins geli out a lot. Often fans are happy. Sue god's with that because there was a fake adam. Schefter that fooled even. Espn espn had to put down an apology. Because the fake adam schefter had everyone convinced chan. Gailey was let go parting ways with the miami dolphins dolphin fan celebrated and then we're all bummed to find out the chain. Gayley was actually not let go and still on staff. "Just a single piece of bread. He's a very very nice man. He's been the head of media relations for the dolphins for probably would have led with that over. He eats a single piece of bread as a strange eaters. My point he's a. He's an unusual man. In general i was not aware of his eating habits. I am aware that he is a very nice man. Who had a very prominent job with the dolphins for very long time. But he's also a man who is capable of talking your ears off greg. What can you tell the audience about. Harvey green. Because i hesitate to put harvey green on. Because he's not entertaining and He talks too much and while he is a very nice man. I would like to talk to him about Eating a piece of bread every day while also running twenty miles. Yeah white bread He's harvey's qualify for this conversation. As a matter of fact one of his last titles with the dolphins was vice president of historical affairs. So you know when you're trying to reach somebody from the distant past. He would have been a guy to go through all the context. He's an expert in dolphins history. No doubt now. We don't have either of them yet but just a quick update on who is more of a story. I will say this andy cohen. His twitter handle is at a cohen fins. And yours is just at greg cody so i was following at bravo. Andy well and like i say. Andy is affiliated with the club. You know i don't know. If there's dolphin digest exist does that disqualify him trying to reduce points from his historian ship because he is affiliated with the club. Because billy trying to give him credibility because he's affiliated with the club right. I think someone affiliated someone who is paid by the dolphins. And i'm not saying india's i don't know if he is but someone who is paid or connected directly to the dolphins does not have an opinion or perspective with the independence of mind. That's all i'm saying. So you're saying he's on the take. It is what you're saying. Andy cohen is paid by the dolphins. But yet my dad is still a bigger homer. That's fairly amazing. You're right Greg cody would fit very well in with a at greg cody fins. I think your dad might be jealous. The fact that he's not and he's not he's not andy cohen writing that propaganda she dolphin digest which is never had a story not immensely just positive for the dolphins cody is right. I think about that. They used to be a really profitable industry seriously. Newsletter guy who wrote about the team from the inside but was actually just publishing something. That was a biased piece of communist propaganda. The team wanted him to source like not. Not a word got edited. That work was in there. That shula himself wasn't saying You know hey make sure that all the words glossy and in my favorite and somehow yet greg cody has written more positively about the dolphins than even also digested so funny. There was a time like if you took the internet away right now someone would be doing a job for the jets at engaged. And it'd be me. Look i have. My emails are evenly split between people who think a homer and people who think. I'm too hard on the dolphins. So i think i'm doing a pretty fair job there but it is interesting though when you grow up a fan and then you make that transition to journalists because i'm transparent I'm going to admit to everybody that i grew up. Dolphins fan a huge dolphins fan back when little kids had anybody remember what a pennant was a pennant on the wall or miami dolphins pennant on my wall. When i'm like ten years old. I'm i'm collecting. You know dolphin player cards. That royal castle used to give out a huge dolphins fan. And that's part of what i am today. That part of my past is integral with everything. I say and write about the dolphins. It just is and you think you're more of a historian because of your independence because you cannot be bought and sold even though you are actually more of a homer than andy cohen Can you tell us billy where it is that we are in our search for. Are we d pursuit. Where we're going to get andy cohen and harvey grain. And we're gonna put it on the national show in a way that's gonna really confused word..

That's just I it's it's it's orcas playing is exactly what they're doing. You see it done with dolphins all the time orcas are basically big dolphins. They're huge dolphins. These animals are so intelligent. They enjoy interacting with things around them They're probably as an efficient in the world who hasn't been out. Here. In the Gulfstream route in the bay dolphins come around and all around. They're they're. You know jumping around their boats. Fees are intelligent animals that enjoy that kind of interaction and entertainment. Basically, you know put it on the poll please Tony. "Yeah and it's hard for us to sit here and you know we're fans we cover the team and we do as much research as we can but at the end of the day you know not even the beat writers in Miami. Have any idea what the dolphins are going to do. And that's a good thing you know people were given our Mondo crap. Because he said you know the dolphins interest interest in Justin. Herbert you know. I think it was a Adam Beasley. Some the other reporters said they liked Jordan. Love you know you keep hearing every quarterback that the dolphins like you know it's too it's it's Jordan. Love it's Herbert. You know it's it's too low. It's every quarterback could possibly be available at five. And I think at the end of the day they will have to trade up and I know people don't like to hear that but at the end of the day I think to a ton of I lo- as much as he's progressing along if he hits at April ninth and he goes out there and throws for teams. I do think they're going to have to trade up and whether or not they do that. I think that's kind of a whole different discussion because I don't know if you saw her. Mom does article today. A lot of people kind of game crat but know. It doesn't really come down to how the team feels reach out to those doctors and he mentioned you know the drew brees situation. You know he mentioned a couple of other situations where the doctors just weren't confident enough for just weren't able to say no confidently that he is going to be at this point next season so it's a lot of projection and. I think we need to realize that you know does Chris Greer Brian. Flora's hinge their career on a guy that you know might not ever be the same in net. Hurts me to say it but I'm being completely honest. We don't know if two of those ever going to be the same quarterback that we want saw but even if he becomes seventy five percent of that what we saw on that Lsu game. That's a guy that I believe can be. The future. Franchise quarterback can be a future top ten quarterback in the NFL. Not Top five. And you said it best. The dolphins had the best situation. They traded Josh Rosen last year. He was a second round pick. They basically they pay for him. So That's how I view him. He is a second round. Pick twenty three years old. His contracts peanuts Ryan Fitzpatrick not going to be around forever. We know the Braun Chan Gailey. Perfect you know. He had his best season under Changli. Whatever you know Fitzpatrick here. It's not gonna be that way for forever. You bring a low you put them on the pup list you sit out the entire season and then you finally get to see what Josh Rosen can become second year you know maybe with some consistency offense. Kunar because God knows he's never had that so there's a lot to take in here and I don't think that you can fault. The dolphins either way if they have a herbert right on par with tons of fellow Soviet. I mean that's the route. They'll go but I do think wrong quarterback and I think anybody that sits here and says they're gonNa Take Simmons. I think that's crazy. I know how a good idea simmons is. I know a good offense attack will be at that point. They're going to get a quarterback because we've seen over the last twenty years how close to getting a game changing quarterback and we can sit here and say Patrick Mahomes into Shawn Watson. That wasn't you know they didn't have a chance to those guys you know. They could've traded up for any quarterback in the last twenty years. But they didn't they had a chance at Matt Ryan the past. They had a chance to Ryan he was guy before and after that who did to the draft Brennan Dowdy. You know the pick for Josh Rosen. So they don't get in these situations often they find themselves in this situation. They gotta do what they did or the last two three years. They've done their homework on these guys. One of these guys has to be the future quarterback the Miami Dolphins. We just sit back. Relax and let it play out. Yeah and Josh Seinfeld. Do you want Seinfeld a little bit? I can't sit here and say A die hard and people are going to hate me for that. 'cause I never really gave it a chance. So there's an episode where they're talking about the word like and you know you. You mentioned the dolphins they like Herber Lake love now. It's something to keep in mind. We're talking about this and this was an episode of Seinfeld. I can't remember the exact reference but I can sit here and tell you. I like the Miami Dolphins but I can also tell you you know. I like you know drinking a beer but at the same time you know one of them. I write about all the time. One of my podcasts. About all the time one. I buy all the merchandise you know I possibly can from time to time and the other one. I have once a week twice a week So there are different levels of like and until you really get that context. I wouldn't I don't think we can put too much way too much. I guess on these different types of you know they like this guy they like you know this guy because there can be so much different levels with the word. Blake and I think that's kind of been an issue since you know. Middle School for all of us. When you like someone quarter call for the first time you know so so it's just a really tough situation really read the most adults and I think we gotta take it for what it is. Where Chris Greer in Stephen? Ross round the sideline talking to that one time at the final game of the season From last season where they were talking about two as their guy before it was even signed. You know there's been so many of these tea leaves that you kind of think about and what. I think really hopes the dolphins here and for some reason. I don't think it's being talked about. Enough is just how many different quarterbacks are going to be available. I'M NOT NECESSARILY SAYING. Just Free Agents. But for the teams like the panthers who all the sudden we got in. Kinda cross them off and I probably shouldn't use them earlier because they're looking like they're gonNa Keep Cam Newton You look at teams like the chargers who can get a veteran to come in and play instantly. Whether it's a Tom Brady. Whether it's a Ryan Tannehill. The colts are another one. They look like they're set to get Phil Rivers Any dolphins and other guy available him in New England. There's a lot of connections going on Jameis Winston Freedom. We haven't been talking about him a Forty touchdown guy Also has like Mitch Trubisky. Nick foles Joe FLACCO. Derek Carr and Jimmy G. could all possibly be on the move which I think only helps the dolphins not only solidify their spot at five but hope teams not really have that willingness to kind of fight and try to even bother trying to outbid the dolphins to move above them at because when you look at that stockpile draft picks it's going to be impossible. Yeah we didn't even mention Teddy Bridgewater. Who is going to get a pretty big deal? And you mentioned an episode of Seinfeld and mentally. I've not seen it but as much as I think. The dolphins going to draft a quarterback if just like him and I know you're trying to say like like like you know they really like him. They love him if they don't love a guy if if they don't feel confident that this guy is their quarterback of the future you do have to kick the can down the road you know as much as it pains me as much as I say. They're never in this position. If you for some reason don't think that guy or if you don't think herber lovers at guy you have to kick the can because you have to be certain that this quarterback is going to be the future quarterback of the Miami Dolphins and again. Chris hitched his wagon to him. Brian floors is great as he looked in year. One you know. Expect him to win. Any Games burs good as he looked in your one he'd be hitching his wagon to him. And you know. He's in the in the room with them. We know we saw that report where you is running defensive. He was kind of implementing a defensive game plan. There are the Auburn Pro Day. You know he's on the front line. He started out as a scout. New England so you got him you got Chris Got Reggie McKenzie and you got Marvin Allen you know Reggie McKenzie drafted Derek Carr. How'd you feel about him? Whatever he is whatever is probably trade this year more of an Allen you know. He had his hand in. Patrick mahomes handed Josh down. You know however you feel about Josh on you know these are guys at right now are doing very very well in the NFL. So you have four guys potentially with scouting experience and that's not a dimension Dan Marino. So if you can't figure out which one of these guys is your quarterback and do whatever the hell it takes to make sure he's your guy. I don't know what to tell you because you have. Fourteen draft picks you know we talk about Jonesboro being unattainable. If they've really truly believed Joe Broza next Dan Marino. They have a chance to go get him to hell with what the fans think you know if you think. Joe Bro is a guy. That's going to finally right this ship that we have not seen you know. We've been mediocre for the last twenty years. If you think job Rosette guy you move heaven and earth to make it happen it using a ton of a lowest guy regardless of whether you can predict the future you do whatever it takes again. Three second round picks is what the jets traded Up for SAM darnold. I think they moved up three spots. You know it's going to be a little more than that. But the dolphins have all these first round picks not only this year they have to next year you know they have additional picks later down the road so you have to figure out which of these guys and we know. They've done their homework. You know they've been at the Justin Herbert or gains the last two seasons they were you know doing reports on Jordan love. They were at his games before he was even draft eligible. So figure out which one of these guys is next Dan Marino. You have frigging Dan Marino there again. You have your Chris greer you have Reggie McKenzie more renown. You've Brian Floors. You have everyone at your disposable agree on somebody and do whatever the heck it takes to get him now that I just finished that soapbox tell me how you would feel about Ryan tannehill going into England. Because I've heard that rumor I think Chris Simms profootballtalk out that rumor. How how would you feel to see Ryan? Tannehill guy that you just been route four seasons go and take Tom Brady to spot New England. You can't get all fired up on me like that and now now let me give some sort of response. I heard the jazz. I try to be brief segue into the next thing but yeah okay. I'm going to defuse and let you go on your soapbox now. You mentioned them. Maybe kicking the can down the road and you know I'm never going to say I am the smartest guy I'm not going to say. I'm one of anywhere close but this is the year of the dolphins. Take their quarterback and this is I want to tell you it's to a mostly on everything we've no The the different kind of hints. We've been given the different appearances and you can't kick down the can down the road because when you think about the dolphins have right now is the fifth overall. Pick and say that. The dolphins don't like any of the guys at quarterback and then they moved on they look at next year's draft. Whoever maybe we don't even care about any of the names all the sudden you know there's two or three guys that say at the top of the draft. Let's go there's too because to in this draft that I think are a step above everyone else in. That's to enjoy borough so all of a sudden. The dolphins are at five and they have. Let's say a risky shot of getting one right because we're sitting here. Were a little nervous that that that is going to be taken from US right. Nobody or someone's going to sneak past the dolphins right under our nose and get that pick all of a sudden. The dolphins build up the roster with everything they have the pick they have next year is going to be even worse. And then you have to move heaven and earth and maybe three more planets to view farther up after. You've already invested this much near team. So I think the value with the you know. All the different quarterbacks are available right now not only in the draft but in free agency but via trade all those help just give you that little bit in terms of what's available and what you can acquire and then you think about the idea of.

dolphins Miami Dolphins Justin Herbert Josh Rosen Josh Seinfeld Ryan Tannehill Dan Marino Matt Ryan Tom Brady NFL Chris Greer Ryan Fitzpatrick Chris Greer Brian Brian floors Mondo Miami Patrick Mahomes Derek Carr Adam Beasley Chris

"Again. Everyone and welcome to another episode of finsider radio. I'm your host Josh House and I'm joined once again by Jake Mendel. This is the second installment of our Jake and Josh podcast Jake. How're you doing today man? I'm feeling feeling pretty good duty now. I'm ready to get in here. Talk about some dolphins. And you know it's Talked about the dolphins but I gotta say there's a new call of duty game that's free to play. That's like fortnight. That just came out so I mean that seems a little appealing to I. GotTa I gotTa admit I gotTa throw it out there. I'm kind of interest. Pete for a lot of different reasons whether it be football or the nerdy sides kind of coming out a little bit. Yeah and you brought up video games so I kinda have to also bring up minor decide and I don't know if you saw but NFL two K. is going to start producing football games again. And it's been since two thousand five since they were able to do that and I don't think they're going to have the exclusive license. They're not GONNA be able to make a simulation style game but I mean I'm excited because any type of two K game you know that that was the best football game. I think they've ever made so. I'm excited to hear about that and I don't know if you have any thoughts on that but that's hopefully that means the end of Madden in this monopoly that they've created over the last few years. I don't WANNA get too big into it. The local Walmart used to do Madden tournaments actually every fall but one year. I actually did pretty well. I I made it to the finals. However in the semifinals I faced the person in the finals brother So he basically kind of gave everything away. I'm not saying that the reason I lost because you know he was a lot more skilled than I was where I kind of knew my team. Obviously the dolphins knew how to use Reggie Bush at the time Divine Bass We're just making it work down the middle and I actually got to play inside a movie theater which I really don't recommend because it's way too big for trying to do something like that but no you're right because everyone's finally GonNa wake up to the pitch of Madden saying. This is the best one ever. When it's just the RE REHASH CINDY IN EVERY YEAR. That really hasn't gotten too too much better sometimes. It's even worse. Yes speaking getting better. We know that this is the most important off season in Miami Dolphins history. I mean I think we can immediately say that at a day. The complementary draft picks were announced. We know that the New England patriots once again had a record high four but the Miami Dolphins they received a fourth round. Pick the one hundred and forty first overall pick from that John James move and then seventh which is two hundred fifty first overall for Cameron. Wake in you know. It's not as good as a lot of people expected we know of John. James played and you know it was healthy and played up the same level that we expected you know once he left that huge hole left on the dolphins offensive line. I think Denver thought they were getting a little bit more James and they definitely thought they were this season. He was obviously hurt. That third round compensation pick a lot of us kind of thought it would be is now four. Th Cameron wake you know one of the best oftens in recent memory you know. He went to Tennessee. I don't even know if he played. I don't even know how many games he played to be completely honest but I think that was supposed to be a project in maybe fifth pick. That's now a seventh pick. So the dolphins now. Fourteen draft picks six in the top seventy. It's a huge deal. Because I mean I don't know they've never had this many they they never had this much cap space and they haven't had this much Co draft picks to us so it has to be the most important offs is not happy about how you feel about that. How you feel about either these players but I'm excited man and we knew those complimentary picks were coming in. But now to see it come to fruition. Fourteen draft picks. Were one month away. Time to get excited. Yeah the issue. Is You know the saying in theory because you'd rather just be set in stone and The the wake thing was crazy because I appreciate an awesome week one. I believe he had two sacks but but I think he was. He couldn't be found on the field after that. And that's kind of where you go into the what makes the Patriots. So you know. A step ahead is in terms of this com. Formula is that they get rid of players when they should they? Don't hold on for those memories for those one to two games. Where you know. Cameron wake almost certainly seemed like he's worth you know the top tier player that we've all loved for years but It seems like those kind of move. Dolphins waited a little too long to make if they do a couple of years sooner. You wonder if that seventh round pick as you know a fourth-round or a fifth round something like that but hey that's not what we're really here to talk about any animal. Certainly right is extremely exciting. Time but it's hard not to think about That two thousand thirteen season and is strange. Was you know everyone can remember different moments of their life? You know you can kind of picture you know where you were what you're wearing. I remember where I was when the dolphins traded for Philip Wheeler or Excuse me Seinfeld Wheeler in denial or be forgotten either of those were trades and they cut. Carlos stands where you're just thinking. Oh my God this is insane. I was working at a little variety store. I was wearing the sweater that wore. Maybe like three times. I thought was pretty hip. And it's just all these things. I remember how important that I'll see the dolphins. They had their young quarterback Ryan Tannehill. They were all putting it together. They signed Mike Wallis but pets and really were CALICO Too Yeah left us with on her face and there was nobody. I mean there were a lot of people on twitter back then not like there is now I mean. That's the place to go for your dolphins information. There was no one more excited for Mike Wallace before it happened after it happened. I mean I don't know if it's because I lived in central Pennsylvania. I don't know if it's because I just wanted that explosive wide receiver and I mean he had some production here. I think a lot of the money that he got and how he lasted two seasons if that and he just kind of fizzled off but he did have production while he was here. We all remember that him Brandon Gibson. Doing that post game press conference previously right the last time the dolphins had this much a space and draft capital. It just did not work out you just Kinda hope that that is behind us and this is a new era dolphins football. It's Kinda starting to seem that way. We're jumping offensive line talk. And they're small fence of lion on the market. The dolphins could have interest in one quick. No we're GONNA talk about free agency later in the week. Probably heading into. It'll probably drop Monday heading into you. Know this free agency period. That's going to be absolute crazy. 'cause I don't know if you saw they push back the franchise tag I think they're voting on the C. Maybe the day before that they pushed back the franchise tag. That'll be Monday and then jumping right into. I believe Tuesday when Free Agency starts. So it's going to be a whirlwind. We know how this legal tampering period may may or may not affected. But let's be honest. These guys are talking to teams. You know things are going to start to leak towards the end of this week early next week players are going to be signed and it's just going to be a crazy few days because again. The dolphins have a hundred million dollars in cap space. You know they have these draft picks where we're talking about. Trump Williams gave Jackson came out today. He's on the trail. That's a twenty eight year old guard who he was hurt last season. Yes he's set to make nine and a half million over the next three years. But you know if the Dolphins Joe -Tuni- like you said you know New England knows what they're doing. They're getting rid of Tony. They're getting rid of Van. Noy No there's a couple other guys that they're getting rid of you. GotTa Kinda think maybe the Patriots have seen their best football and maybe it's not wise to go out there and spend the bank so let's talk about offense. Let's about some of these veterans at the dolphins could approach. Who's the guy that you like? You know what do you see a realistic trade being? We know Trent Williams out there. How how do you feel about a Trent Williams Miami? Actually I'm GonNa cut you off on that for just a second Real back to talking about free agency beginning Greg Rosenthal. I'm a Western Mass Guy Born raised he's a Western mass guy. So I've had some talks with him on different PODCASTS and whatever may be NFL networks for Rosenthal as saying that this weekend. The amount of different Rumors that are gonNA come flying right after the CB announced one way or another he said the Saturday to Sunday might be the most intense you know. Couple days stretch in terms of free agency that we've ever seen in football and that that should really get you jacked up with everything. The dolphins have in store and for that to kind of give you guys a kind of peek behind the curtain. We try DARNEST TO RECORD Sundays. But you know if there's little mix up here a little bump this hour put your tomorrow. We'll push to tomorrow and here. We are Recording on a Tuesday night. But we're going to do everything our power and we're not even just GONNA do that. We are going to have a show on Sunday to kind of talk about it. All because the hype for it is going to be crazy. I think there's GonNa be a lot that comes out after that. Cba Domino really start to fall but back to Williams man. I don't think I understand what people mean when they say the dolphins enough focus on the offensive line and then they just WANNA draft off offensive lineman. I feel like there's a little disconnect where you can't say one without the other really being a part of it you need to really it seems attack offensive line. If you WANNA make it better you have to do both you know. Get them on the open market or Herve already established veterans in the League. And also some some rookies. So when you see someone like trump Williams's available you talk about all the resources. The Miami Dolphins have available. You hear people saying hey. This is one of the deepest draft Classes in terms of tackles. I don't know why you don't double triple up in terms of getting you know screaming for some like travel agency draft a guy or two. I still remember Brennan Albert signing him and you know there was just he was doing like a press conference or an interview or something limpid around. He was dealing with an injury. And don't get me wrong. Elvis was trooper. I really liked him. Great Locker Room Guy. He just looked up and saw the there was like some splur- about the dolphins and and the turmoil therein or the downward spiral of the season and I remember reading an article. Saying he just you know just disappointedly shook his head knowing that you know he wasn't necessarily part of it and what. I'm trying to say here. Is You need more than five offensive. Lineman offense of wine..

"Everyone in the area or keeping you home out in where you live. Yeah in Pennsylvania that I'm pretty sure the COPS V be knocking at the door tomorrow more because they definitely listen. He heard that threat. I did think that when I was saying I probably like. Oh probably should have said that. But oh well sorry. I am your. I have nothing to look forward. Let me ask you this before we go. It's the Dolphin. Give me one name and free agency in name in the draft. That you are confident. The Miami Dolphins could end up with when all is said and done and I know it's holly crap shoot. I know you confident. I have been not been able to get anything out of the dolphins are free. Let's let's just say you know how. `Bout how `Bout my dream free agent edition like if I can only pick one big free agent addition who would it be? Yes that would be Logan Ryan okay. That'd be my guy. I'm going to Dave in cloudy. Just because he's he's always hurt off. The dolphins aren't gonNA take. Oh you already said. The dolphins run a team for him. Brian Flora's prior told me to go himself. I think about how about a Gawk Kway from Jacksonville. I would love him. I see the report that I was. GonNa take a second round pick and then swap picks to Seattle and interested in. Forget who Tony. Tonight C. C. R. I read it. I read it anyway. Yeah Yeah what's up with that? Why won't the dolphins make that trade They're not gonNA make that trade. But I would love that. I can't believe it was Tony. Pauline okay all right we we forgive you. One one player. That's dolphins draft besides the quarterback. No if you're confident. They're going to take a quarterback and you know the name say speak it. I WanNa hear it to a tug of war. Seek is to me. I just feel like that is not true. I hope you're right. That's been right about Brian. Floors. You've been right. You know name after name. Danny Amendola remember you telling cannot Sutton tonight rate. You said someone told you like as before. Podcast honestly did not want to give him the time of day. Because I was like you always g away from being the Miami Dolphins official podcast host Travis Wingfield but I went back and looked at the tape and damn do like that. That kid can play any toward up at the combine. He fits exactly what the Miami Dolphins need in the secondary and I think Brian floors is a huge fan of his dad. So thrown out there. That's giving mind named so. If you're telling ME WE'RE GONNA end up a ton below in Antoine Winfield. I'm like that people love that I like that. That's a good one all right. "A great question Jesse David Fox for me. I think it's gotta be to. Its hunger by low but the biggest thing for me is you're saying at five and I just don't know how they can. They can do that. I don't think they can sit back. And you know you see the fans consistently say you know. I think that I want to but I WANNA move up for him. I don't think that's how it works. I think if you want to a ton of our low you're not move up for him because before job rose injury you know he was probably the number one. The number one quarterback on the board no teams would be traded for two tone by low right. Now if if he didn't get hurt so for me I mean I just keep going back to Justin herber and I know people don't want to buy into that and people don't WanNa believe in that but he just kind of fits that mold of what you know again the pill ourselves way you know Marvin Allen drafted what. I believe to be the the best comparison to Justin herber renowned. That's Josh Allen. No He's not as mobile but I think he's more accurate than Josh. And we talked about this on the show before so I want them to go to his home of. I think they might go. Justin Herbert but I can't sit here and deny Jordan love and I continue to say you know just number three quarterback on the board. But if I'm the Miami Dolphins and you know you kind of saw Ryan Tannehill did and you kind of see that just in Herbert's ceiling isn't quite what Jordan loves it so for me. I don't think too is going to be there at five. And if it were up to me gun to my head just in Herbert Jordan love I would go Jordan love just because I do believe that when all said and done if he reaches at full potential he's going to be as good as anyone in this class. Not named to a ton of a low not named Jober I think Jordan love has the potential to be one of the know a top five top ten quarterback in the NFL if he hits all those lamb and again. I'm not going to sit here and I know I got you know. I don't know if you read the comments on the inside Rep. People absolutely destroyed me on our last podcast. Because I'm too much of a rock guy. We have Chan Gailey this dude sixty eight years old you brought in Chan Gailey to you know mentor and to build this quarter backup. Who has he ever developed in the career that he's had it's been a great career. Ryan Fitzpatrick is the best quarterback you know is the guy that this dude is built up. So I'm not sitting here and putting all my chips in and believe in Chiang guilty because that to me is the biggest red flag. I mean. You're asking a sixty eight year old often have coordinator. Who's been retired? Hasn't done much of anything in the NFL as for developing quarterback to come in here and take a guy like to top. I Lo- who you know Chang. Gilliardi pass along drew brees. You know he kind of said that he was a little bit undersized you know. He passed on a quarterback very similar. Him drew brees. So I think again. I think that that's the dolphins way to go. Justin Herbert but if it were up to me I'd go Jordan love to a ton of a lowest guy. Those two guys. I battle that four to five if you believe Jordan love. Justin Herbert can be the future quarterback the Miami Dolphins you pull the trigger there. I mean everyone say draft Isaiah Simmons than you to eighteen. Neither of these guys are going to be available to eighteen important. The quarterback position is I mean Daniel Jeremiah. One of the best in a game. I mean I think he continues to say that just her my fault later in the draft. It's not going to happen. You know Tom mcshea put a five thousand dollar bet down. That Jordan would be drafted ahead of Justin. I'd not see it happening. I think that the three of those guys. I think all four of these guys Joe Baroque Justin Herbert ensure love. All has the potential to be franchised quarterbacks. The dolphins just need to decide which ones there's make that move and do whatever it takes to get them to a trade up. If it's Herberger love you just say put take that guy but for me I think Jordan has the highest Justin Herbert's Kinda you know what we've seen in the past and to its own buy low is obviously you know the apple of my eye when I was NFL. Combine we had And I put a story on Pro Football. Never tonight about this and basically the headline was just opens. You're still targeting chunk of Iowa as in chip to a ton of Vilo as their qb one in the twenty twenty NFL draft on. I need to rephrase that already. He's not near. Qb One as far as I know. We I Joe Berle might be cute. They're QB one. I don't know that but assuming Joel Burrows off the board the dolphins next Goto to Tunga Viola. And you know you look at all that right and this all came to be we weren't at the NFL combine PFM wasn't actively searching or sources to figure out who the dolphins were targeting. But we received a believer was Thursday. Yeah Thursday early afternoon. We received a very credible tip in the media workroom from somebody that's Jordan. Love was their preferred quarterback over Justin Herbert and when we asked his personal warranty running with it they said they couldn't for number of reasons and If I give you the reasons it will out them. I can't obviously out our sources. But they couldn't run with it So they said you can run with it if you can verify it with a second source. Go for it. I feel strongly about it. I'm not one hundred percent strong on it but I feel strong enough to let you guys know that it's out there. So we started looking into twenty pauline one of our insiders and draft analyst and but Albright of course you all know one of our insiders European and then myself and Matt and Fonte. Also one of the guys over just started working our contacts. Obviously Tony Benn have much more than we do. But we all worked contacts and we worked on it for a little bit and we finally figured some things out an and ben got back to us in a few hours and he basically said this all the talk about Justin Herber and Jordan love. Ignore it. It's just the dolphins creating leverage with the Lions and other people have thought of that because the dolphins have already spoken to the lions about a potential trade. The talks did not get very far assumingly because the tree asked for way too much and so the dolphins knew they needed to do something to get some leverage back on their court. And all these Coordinator leaks with the media members. And you all these articles you see about the dolphins loving justin. Herbert and Jordan love. I think they do like them to an extent but to like them enough over. Tua is an understatement. And I think it should not be seen that way. I've been told that no one in front of the dolphins are interested in drafting to all this talk. You hear about the Lions and the redskins look to it. It's all to gain leverage entry talks and to also You know just try to create some of those smokescreens from their troop who intent because the lions don't know if if the Redskins trae down with anybody and and obviously the redskins or number two. But you don't really know for sure of the Bangla. You're GonNa Take Joe Borough until they actually Joe Burl and so you know. They need to create this impression that they may not be targeted guys. They really want to take your house. You know when when you say the dolphins need to trade up I I do think they do need to trade up as well And March ninth. Which is just in a few days to get his medical checkup. And that's when he is presumably going to be cleared to recent football activities. And that's going to be a big day because once that test comes back clean. I bet you that price to jump. Up GOES WAY UP. And yes the dolphins can handle it but the whole point of restocking rebuilding was to accumulate as many high draft. Picks it possible so when you're eliminating those high draft picks you're kind of defeating the whole purpose of the tank and I know it's not the tank but it's just a nice term to use because everyone just uses it so I do think they need to train up to number three? Why because I think you have to worry about? The chargers will give to worry about the panthers moving up. I think you have to worry about the colts. Possibly looking through up as well. They have a lot of picks in the first few days that you need to be concerned about. And then you got the raiders as well. Who may be looking for a new quarterback so all those you know coming into mind and looking at all that you need to be careful of those teams who want the job you and so the dolphins were to trade with the lions and number three. I think that is a perfect blue for them. I don't think the redskins are drawn to. I think do have their eyes set on chase young but the dolphins primary target assuming Joe Boroughs of the board and assuming the health comes back. Okay is too and asked who the dolphins want. That's the dolphins have always wanted And Berry Jackson the Herald kind of confirmed a report. The next day saying they still prefer to televise. Love by Loa getting that messed up. If it's medical checkout over quarterbacks not named Joe Borough thoughts it all. We don't know we don't know how else what's going to happen until the dolphins are on the clock until that name is Reid. We've seen way too many times. Brady Quinn burst. Ted Ginn You've seen it. There's just too many to list. Were just way too many surprises. And you just don't truly know yeah. I don't think anybody knows and I think the biggest thing to me is if the dolphins truly wanted to atone from day one you know they tried to learn me tonsil and no one could argue that. They got very good value for that. I don't think anybody would sit back and say you know I wouldn't make that trade. No what no one else is going to make. You know twenty million dollars a year. You know he's a left tackle. The dolphins desperately need offensive line. Help but I don't think anybody would turn two first round picks in the second rounder. Make if it's Patrick. Had no interest in being with Dolphins. They got a first round pick for that. The dolphins continued to accumulate. These draft picks to make a move like this and people can sit here and say you know he's injured. You know get hip injury. He had those two ankle surgeries before that ankle injury. He only missed one game. I think he missed to then because he sat out because they were getting prepared real issue. Isn't that freak hip injury so to sit here and say that to its low is injury prone. I think that's ridiculous. But at the end of the day to atone low was honestly the guy that they wanted. The quarterback did they want from the beginning of this. There's no reason why don't trade up. And you mentioned the Washington Redskins Haskins look pretty good towards the end of the year before he suffered that injury chase young the best player in the draft. Why would they pass up on him for quarterback when they already just draft and one last year who's he he's probably the same age as to it up to look it up but I believe he's the same age as to atone by low? I just think the Washington redskins would be smart Ron Rivera. A defense on the head coach to go out there and get the best player in the draft. A pass rusher. You know that on that defensive line can do crazy things and then you've got Detroit. They got Matthew Stafford before his back injury. He was having one of the best seasons of his career. You know they are tied into him whether it be cap space within the owner. Saying you know they're in win now mood you know. They don't have the time aperture doesn't have the opportunity to sit back. Relax drafts to talking about lower so if you could sit here and tree with the Miami Dolphins get a few extra picks mu back and still end up. Getting is as Simmons. Jeffrey Okada whoever it might be. That's kind of out you have to go. And I think the dolphins are going to trade up you mentioned Carolina. You know you mentioned those other teams that have interest in in him. A CAROLINA MAYBE TAMPA BAY moves up and goes after. Maybe the Las Vegas Raiders who. It seems like they might be very well played for Tom. Brady you know their teams there. That could absolutely trade up and take their quarterback. The chargers the panthers the raiders whoever it might be to its iron below before his injury was that darned good you know. He's a quarterback that people have been talking about for many years and again if the dolphins truly believe that he is the guy. I can't see imagine that Chris Greer Marvin Allen Reggie McKenzie some of the best often minds in the NFL in a front office are honestly sitting there. And you know Joe Borough is a great is a great quarterback. He had the best season of any college quarterback and history of football. You know we say here and we say there are these reports coming out. The dolphins have interests there. They loved Joe. Borough who doesn't all thirty two teams love jober. Oh you know what he did this year. you know that kind of a leap that he took. Who doesn't like Joe Borough? Who wouldn't love to go up there and get Joe Bro. I think every team needs a quarterback would love to get a job borough. But you can't show Perot and to atone by low wasn't heard you'd be in the same category as Jober so I think if the dolphins love him as much as they should they gotta do whatever it takes to get him and again..

"Not really much to play for is the giants are out of playoff contention but they are at this point playing for pride and to not lose two opponents that are at the bottom end of the NFL bad. Add being this week coming up the Miami Dolphins who are three and ten and also work intending for a top five draft. Pick just like the giants are in this game. I'm sure you could agree. Chris might not have a lot of implications and if they win it but like I said about pride and also showing improvement. Yeah and that's something something. The dolphins have done over the course of the year. They were easily the worst team in the NFL for the first half two thirds of the season but the players really have taken exception to the accusations that they're tanking. They have played hard and they they have gotten better over the last month month. And a half or so. Brian Florida's has really invigorated. That team galvanized them and even though they had such a long streak without winning a game at the start of the year. They've come on hot as of late beating the Philadelphia Eagles and also getting some other winds hot obviously can only mean so much with three win football team but still having those bright spots of showing improvement in showing fight at the end of the season. Something that giants have not done this year. Anything I think most people would argue. They have regressed in a number of areas which is why the dolphins head coach is Brian. Floors is not on the hot seat seat. In head coach. Pat Shurmur for the giants is on the hot seat. All that being said though like we do in every preview show. We're GONNA be giving you the offensive and defensive game plan planning to kick things off. Let's go right into the offense. This defense has been relatively atrocious. All Year for the dolphins inconsistent is the easiest way of putting putting it. They're allowing teams to move the ball very very easily on the on the ground amp through the air in the very bottom tier of the NFL. Statistically when it comes to that Chris why do you think that this defense has just underperformed or I wouldn't even say perform but done so poorly this season I would would say they are just really pretty depleted as far as players in talent go just looking through through their starting roster the players who kind of just leap off the leap. Jump out at me as guys. I kind of know. Oh I is avery moss because he was a giant than Christian Wilkins who know clean defensive tackle their first round pick and then didn't Beagle cornerback. Eric Rowe and then that's about it. They don't really have much in the way of good impact players on that defense and I think they're just at a talent. Disparity depleted really is a good way of putting it but I also it seems like this defense is so similar to the way the giants defense is right now just in the sense that they're very very young they don't have any major playmakers in it's just filled across the board with these younger quality. Guys that were drafted in the first round a relatively high and and are still developing in learning. Whether that's required McMillan Christian Wilkins like you said and Charles Harris all three of those guys were drafted high and they have a lot of Positively towards them and they and they think very highly of those players but still young and developing which which we've seen from the giants is is good proof that if a defense is young and developing. They're going to struggle. They're going to have a lot of issues making it a good opportunity for the giants to put up a lot of points. Hopefully a lot of yards this game so the dolphins defense is without Xavien Howard who is one of the best corners corners in the NFL. Because he is on the injured reserve. Chris who else is really good on this dolphin defence. Who is the best remaining defensive player? Just just based on what I thought of him coming out of the draft. I would have to go with Christian. Wilkins the defensive. Tackle Clemson played next to Dexter Lawrence. He was very highly regarded as an interior disruptor and also is a leader on that clemson defensive line. He's he's maybe not very athletic in the same way that At Oliver or Aaron Donald Our athletic but for a six fourth worth three ten three three hundred fifteen pound defensive tackle. He is athletic and he was an impact player for Clemson for quite a few years and was a big reason why they were consistently in the college football playoffs. Just of that defense of their starters. He is the one who really jumps out at me. Christian Wilkins like you said has done really really good this year as a rookie kind of similar style to Dexter Lawrence. Because he's big. It takes up a lot of space. He draws a lot of attention and he's someone that they're they're very high on going forward in fitting in with what Brian Flora's was looking for to fill fill out his defense in how those playmakers and stuff guys. That are just hard to move on the defensive line. So Wilkins is very much. He's be watching this game but I also think requ on McMillan who had dealt with some injuries early on his career. I still think he is a talented linebacker. He's very very fast. He's very rangy. He can move from sideline to sideline and he make plays all over the field so trying to move the ball with saquon Barkley and running the ball. Aw might not be as easy as you would assume it's going to be easier than it's been in other games but McMillan is a potential playmaker in the middle of Defense. Yeah and say it will be easier At the very least it should be easier picking up yards for the giants on offense. The this is a game. Where if they don't get those yards if they don't produce on both sides of the ball the outside the volume on the very serious questions that need to be asked of them really should get turned up? Lastly what we're going to cover here in the office of game plan is. What does the giants offensive of Game Plan? Need to be in this game. Well I would say not lose but but really this. The dolphins don't have a team that can knock you out of what you WanNa do either offensively or defensively so the giants should be able to run. Their offense may not the land in their shell playing not to lose. WHO's offense but if we can see something like what we saw in the second quarter against Philli or have seen sporadically sporadically throughout the threat? The last two years really where the whoever. The quarterback is is distributing the football the giants have the have balanced. They're attacking deep. They're in rhythm and moving the chains. That should be what they're trying to do. You looted to a a good point about saying whoever. The quarterback is because we're still not entirely sure if Dana Jones is going to be playing. He was positive in saying that he's progressing. He's he's getting better day today but the giants I'm sure not going to rush him back. That being said though in agreement with what you had touched on is that this Dolphin's defense as a collective collect hall is not very very good. It's probably one of the worst that they're going to be facing as a whole this season and what we've seen from the giants when they play really bad defenses for for example the lions for example the jets. They throw the ball really really well. Against those teams bad secondary's they weren't able to run the ball against the jets. Let's but they'll have a little bit of an easier time doing that. There's a very high potential for the giants to put up a lot of points. Offensively in this game. It's really just a matter of how the defense plays in. If they're finally not beat by a quarterback that is I would argue below the average or to the average level which the giants defenses consistently done on a week to week basis. The one thing though I do notice from this this Dolphin's defense is that they're very he's very vulnerable to deep passes. If if you can stretch the field of your playmakers those guys are going to be open if you can create some confusion for those young guys on defense events. Dirtiest Slayton isn't a potential perfect opportunity to have another big game like he had a big half against the eagles so be on the lookout for him to catch a lot of deep passes take a lot of go routes try and stretch the field of him and get him hopefully another score to yeah and this also should be a game where the giants quarterback should not be under duress. The dolphins only seventeen sacks on the season. They are really not pressuring pressuring the passer all that often and they're finishing even less. So whoever. The quarterback is Daniel Jones of his Manning they should at least have the time to go through their progressions and find those opportunities to Aceh Seti attack deep hit the deep passes and put up points. Yeah the offense of lines situation was a little bit better with Eli Manning in-command and they were able to keep him upright for the first half not so much in the second half against the dolphins defense that doesn't really have an established pass rush the next. We're going to discuss the defensive game plan but before we do that we're going to get very short commercial.

"After the cowboys play a home game mm-hmm and so it is the Monday following cowboys home win which means it's victory Polo Monday so congratulations to all of us going to war some polos but but yeah so here are some sounds from the locker room. Here's the players had to say what that just players and coaches oftentimes Jerry Jones and that's where we start right now. Jerry Jones spoke to the media right after the he saw his cowboys beat the Miami Dolphins and he was pretty happy curious Jerry Jones on the OCHO. I still do this loan. got a Lotta Guys Lauda guys really had a hand in this game and play quilt up to visit so biscuit in there and talk to them. I am but I was really proud of our team. We all felted team certainly felt. We'd like to have gotten a little more going there earlier. Give Miami credit but then came back out and really started making some place and getting the benefit of positive. Thanks happening so it was a really good really good move say game for the Dallas Cowboys for what we've got coming up and I'll say this that Rosen's got some pocket presence about him. 'cause I sure thought we had our hands all over him a lot of times uh-huh to surprise. We didn't get more sack split to his credit he was. Ab makes which was this harder than it should have interest as nation getting spoiled to think that way well I. I don't know about harder. They've got a whole bunch of payers over there that were players that we would have drafted and that's just the NFL. That's what you're playing against out out there and like I said very early on we were all over it but we just couldn't get the play couldn't get turnover. We finally got one of those gave him one of her own but really all. I think I wouldn't try. It did for us to play a game ideas at home. I wouldn't trade it. If you said Said you can have a do over have that shot at what it came out today at two one hundred percent Tony Likely Collision Surly Company could be yes and I think that we all know what saved brings. It's just the without being trite. This official game seeks a physical player but I really liked the way Palmer. Polar runs with talk. Some of wrongs certainly as a kind of burst so I think he's going to be a big play maker for us. I when we started doing some things that at some point we start jury had to get out of the pass around Jerry. How do you metro female. I I think that I wouldn't try to ask for more right now. And I know you're coach is no individual who players would have gotten more willing to give up but I wouldn't try to ask for anymore. I think we're in the queue to go down here and play outstanding coach coach Stan team and they don't have brace but boy. They got lots of really good football players. We have a great relationship with that organization action. We just know what we're into in New Orleans in New Orleans. I've always felt like Louisiana. I'm from New Orleans almost like a second home debate that said what do you make of being three in oil for the first time since two thousand eight well. I I would not I. I know what this is. No what thirty years this has and I know how good to feel and appreciate getting to start off three enough stuff really when you get behind the eight ball you get behind the numbers early. you pay for it later on when you got little aid ship starting often you benefit from that later on we'll need it all within a very happy. Mr Jones pleased with this cowboys pleased faced with the state of the team pleased with America's team complimentary of Josh Rosen excited about New Orleans speaking very humbly these are these are good things I mean these are very very very very good. Things and I thought it was awesome how he was like hey. Let's not spend that much time talking 'cause there's a Lotta guys in there that you need to talk to him and he's clearly very happy. I players in the team. They put together and he should be speaking of the team that he's put together. Let's hear from one of the EH richest members of the Dallas cowboys. One of the more recently paid ones. Here's Zeke Elliot and again as mentioned he did do his media session with Tony Pollard so really here are Zeke Elliot and Tony Pollard. Both of them rushed for over one hundred yards against the Miami Dolphins. We started off slow. We didn't come. We definitely didn't play we. We got rolling it. All you got the win. Did you talk about how you Antonio of assets down there. Take a nice looking at summertime for sure man. I knew every science teachers out here juice and he can run. He could play ball came here to get a great day today. I'm proud of you first since two thousand three and especially in this room was this business especially when it's businessman. I saw early in the last fourteen weeks. We'd is GONNA. Keep our heads down. Keep grinding go hawass his film. see where we can improve a lot of areas and Tony come forward so we can see paths. I mean it just so hard you know. Gang Pani any good you know making it easy for us. Excuse I mean we definitely ruffles team running game when you talked with federal can't forget about those those is big either friendly. They made it. They made it easy for us today. They went out there and dominators guys or thread. That's how you get two hundred dollars to start a where you wanted to it so fast. I mean dissed just come out hot leading score off ripping and just read and execute better opportunities dropping balls from us. I mean we just had to tighten tighten up. How does it feel when you guys. Are both having a success you are. How do you feed off. Each other is is is great on tired aw come out he'd come in. He gassing on this guy be tough on defense and Tony Saint in the season using a little now they haven't really used to Muslim Tony Surreal free to SCO your first touchdown Ashdown's third third. Well yeah those other room in his own eye from. You're not just celebrating. Rally wasn't like Sea Tac makes everything easy alone. Watching this on the heat lost your mittens looking. What does it feel like you ought to be looked at the statement when you turn and look at Tel Armie play a lot of ballgames this new and the way I look at it is every day when I again myself but I'm helping to our team. Tony to the game just to make sure that he progresses along got every week in a true to a UH. We didn't come into this thing to yours last week. You know back on the nice to feel feel a lot better in Toni Hoffman. Today it will fine just being out there making play decided we lived up having no dropout economist. This one two punch can really curiel for this season yeah. I think I think it's definitely very helpful just because we don't be fresh guys go and that like this by that. Logan's divided into so I mean it's not me getting thirty thirty five types of the game anymore. You know it's us taking care of together so I mean it's definitely take off and I think most of his season vocal refresher guys seems like the bond between the two of you has been tight since can't even when you weren't here. Tony said you guys are in touch. You had people over your house. You just talk about that. Connection on these is the way I look at it. I said earlier I want him to become to help him become the governor but he doesn't marry that we we might play playtime or anything. I want him to become the best. The Best Bank could be awards. I can't express how cool it was to see them. I'm doing together. I mean it really. It felt like you know like Bros.. I mean it really felt that way. There was a great sense of camry and I mean look not to sound cliche but that's the tap stuff that's hard to be. I mean when when teams and locker rooms or that close that's what football movies are made a man man. That's how football movies are made of so that's what Zeke and Tony Pollard had to say. I referenced demarcus Lawrence Quote earlier hear it for yourself. Here is demarcus Lawrence on the Ocho Margaret Margaret. You feel like you guys are y'all absolutely we said status for ourself and Ozzy every year so that's about you know uh what's going on here. You know playing the game rocket science fundamental football and his period the cookery set the tone for the second rich man. I was just trying to make sure I kept my head down and keep digging. We know we had to make the hits and make the fits in order to get the ball and luckily smooth it out or me but you know got back so permanent rush queen and as the race visit some Matt Queens snake because he had no knees ankles so the snake now so you know got five also also guested starkness game particularly. They thank you got dolls. They'd be ready for war anyway. There is nobody like demarcus Lawrence. Nobody had a sack himself against the Miami Dolphins Dolphin so good for him filling in the war daddy role that Jerry Jones certainly likes and and now pays for handsomely tank is really the a spirit of called Bob Boys caught the rush Golden Defensive Line whatever you want they go as he goes and he goes a long long long way cool to hear Robert Quincy Nickname for him rod which is snake who would have thought I mean snake salon nicknames when you think about it. There's a lot of snakes and a lot of movies isn't theft but there's a snake on dot com defensive line and I wonder by the way Sean Lee is jealous because he was remember he was snake lease accorded as so who knows but that was that was tank. Let's let's move back to offense back to a Buckeye. Let's hear what Dallas Cowboys Wide Receiver. Devin Smith had to say it came in the office at snow started again. You just had to be ready for that India. I had a slow start just had to pick it up. Thanks the thoughts on having to author. It's hard to stop defenses playing this. That'd are you ready for that as much as I want to. His team's exactly so I mean two differ style of runners the loaf their explosive. I'm the courses obviously a lot of expectations and giving your career to this point the bigger role for today on North started in this league before so for me no opportunity for me to go out there and play they gave Phil being out there..

"Welcome back to the seven five. Oh I I am euro are Joe Joe. He is seven five two times Super Bowl champion in college football hall of Famer and the Father of proud Arkansas razorback Tony Casillas Tony Tony Happy Friday to USA. TGIF brother and it seems like every time we talk. I'm either going to Oklahoma the busy my son or here at Arkansas all but I guess that's what you do is an empty Nester mom and dad the empty Nester goes and visits their kids when they have weekends like this. I'm excited about being I don't know if you've you ever benefit bill but it was a beautiful beautiful little city I have not did you. Did you hit up Jerry for advice like ask him where the best tacos and stuff like that well. It's funny honey mentioned that so so her sorority house I mean I have I don't know anything about what he said. The only say that because it wouldn't be appropriate but anyway so the only thing I really know is that there's some activities going on today Friday. It's mall the having to Tailgate Sorority but it's it's funny that you ask that. I was actually a golf tournament on Monday and I ran into Joe Dixon not Joe Dixon but yeah Joe Dixon which says which is does work with with Mr Jones and Abbas dismissing some down here at the game and so as asking about the tailgate and everything else like that and actually I guess Stephen Does it tell gate so I said look I think it may decide to go over there and then crashed at that one but I have got a have not had any advice from him but I think they'll get. You ought to be pretty good so I think I'm going to maybe visit that this kind of get the all the you now the ambiance of the tailgating Arkansas all I do know this I got it on Thursday in the RV you park for all the people that travel and tailgate was already full so they start pretty pretty early here. In Arkansas considered a game is tomorrow and that was yesterday well. That's that's how it is. There's nothing like those times when in college and you know there's a big tailgate coming looking forward to it all week long so that's cool man. That's awesome what Sorority is it Tri Delta Okay Sir Doubts I think we we talked about that whole process of going through the the the rush and played chip and all that but Arkansas is much much elaborated. It's very very popular the Greek system here and check this out. Rj and this is not. I am not in Belgium whatsoever so I you know so when we talented made announcement hunter bid to become a trial in Israel really really stressful and found out that sixty over sixty percent of the freshmen went through recruitment for the sorority fraternity status crazy thirty sixty one percent of rush for this class. I mean that's that's popular at Texas. Am when I was there I mean I think it was like Canady thirty percent so that's a lot but you know what I think is look. It's more celebrated than the football program because our football program has been struggling so so I guess in a way that they I'll tell my daughter this I guess is the way that they really really enjoy the weekends because the football program hasn't been very well last four or five years interesting well they'll be. At Stadium soon play in my Texas aggies. Ah We'll see inform yeah. It'll be awesome at times surely the cowboys are back at. At and T. state in this week they're Turano taken on the Miami Dolphins. We'll get into the line in a little bit three touchdown favorites but they are Tony without somebody very special. National TACO Charleston released this week ironically claimed by the Miami offense. I don't think he'll play just because it's really really quick but if he does obviously obviously tacos GonNa have some sort of dad. TACO is the dude who you know it was everybody else's problem. You know is nothing about him etc.. What were your thoughts because you you've said before here on the show that you've talked to people that have said that he he does our did have a bit of an attitude issue did did you think it would end and any other way? They're getting cut well to to really just on the point of you. You're saying that he may not play this. I don't understand why wouldn't you guys been so eager eager to to make the fifty three man. I guess that's true I mean there's nothing for him to lose especially when applying for the Miami Dolphins I mean you should be ready. I mean you're you're you're you if you're looking for any type of I guess not revenge but you know to show the Dallas cowboys yeah. You made a mistake with me. This is the best tasteful for an unfortunately you're playing against some pro bowler so maybe not it's very good weekend for that but yeah this let it eat especially on a team that really is tanking and you know looking at the future in an also second to that. Rj A and this is interesting because I I run into Mickey. SPAGNOLO does a tremendous job inside cowboys and does cowboy it works for Dallas Cowboys Dot Com and it's been a beat writer for so long and we started talking about so seem at the gym and you know we can't make you do some squats. What's Mickey's This gentleman's workout like I do is just to keep the gravity from really searching you know but he he he he works out so it's hard to not talk about the cowboys and mentioned anything. What do you think about this weekend again? I think we so we started talking about Taco Charleston. I was like you know what a very you know what a disappointment a first round draft pick on him and you have all this. This is the high expectations speculation. You've got to remember when they drafted him. They needed a defensive end right so this problems answer into that so you know we start talking about and I think we all have both of us agree that there was not really eighteen especially. He's got this guaranteed money and I think he thought since he was a first round draft. Pick that you know hey it's it's all about me and it's not what about you and then I don't really think he'd fit in in two with that. Roam the Defense Align Room Rome or Rod Marinelli because to me I have so much respect for Rod. Marinelli may great. He's a tremendous coats little school but he's a great teacher and if you can't really bland and get along with that that room and those with the coach like that it's kind of a helpless caused at that point and I just felt like the you know the had the guarantees to get paid one point what thought one point six million guaranteed the cowboys if someone didn't not climbing him off of waivers cowboys or stuck with that so he's getting paid with that regardless guardless so you know he's kind of at the cowboys mercy so I don't really think there was any motivations part but you know that's kind of the narrative with Tampa I don't think that the physicality in really just maybe his speed and just the things that they saw when he's a Michigan never never never just expanded wants to got to the NFL and that was the biggest disappointment with the cowboys this look either Cutter Fish Bait. You'll cut excuse me cut fish or cut bait and the cowboys said look. We're GONNA CUT TACO Charleston yeah well. He's now a fish at all. I don't think the dolphins a fish actually like the whole like is it a mammal or whatever because it breeze united but to me the so pretty either so majestic and it's not like a like a shark war bell just really pretty fish now and like I had I I have a friend. That's brought this up to me several times before I I mean I don't know I think if you're playing in the NFL like maybe you'd like mascots and stuff that matter to you but I mean I just like you know so so when when there's a Sunday night football game between the cowboys needles it's like all right the cowboys eagles. I just would have a hard time getting jacked about like all the dolphins or you or not. I mean it's just it. Doesn't you know it's too majestic. You know it's not intimidating. It's like you know it's like Oh my God. We got the chiefs this week. You know that sounds really intimidating but it's like Oh. No we have the dolphins. I know it sounds really really lame but but I I mean the TACO thing is it was it felt i. I said this earlier this week. I feel badly for Taco in that. He never had a chance with cowboys fan like from the moment he was drafted. People were pissed off. He wasn't Tj well. That's that's one thing I'll give him but his attitude about everything was so poor. did you see on twitter on Sunday. He called me. TMZ Did you see this not see that yeah well so because over the weekend obviously on Sunday there were these reports Oliver. NFL network from Jane Slater that he had been asking for a trade since the off season and so you know that's a relevant thing and so on Sunday evening after the Falcons beat the eagles somebody tweeted or it was Tom Jones old cowboys defensive lineman that had a cup of Coffee House. He tweeted Free Free Taco or like free. Read the home here something like that and Taco re tweeted it so all I did was like point out. Hey Tacori tweeted this. 'cause that's a really relevant thing if he's still on the cowboys and he wasn't time and he he called me. TMZ and I think that you know that was like that's Kinda. WHO TACO is he's like? He's the guy out here you know re tweeting free him and then he's pissed off. Often people are pointing it out. You know what I mean like. The Guy Never took ownership for a lot of things that he did well. You should have said hey man thanks for the compliment because TMZ now they got TMZ sport tis pretty legit sources st back probably six or seven years ago. It was more like national enquirer but hey look man. I mean I gotta give props natty he he really gave you you gave you credibility for. TMZ and I'm just saying I it seems like Tam See. I don't know what they do but they seems that they get the story. I nothing against your credibility is what you know it's broadcast or John was or anything like that. I just think you know but is it. Doesn't that this kind of show you what Talk Charlton's about he's more concerned about what people are saying to him on twitter witter and look I understand is the first round draft pick. There's a lot of pressure. You're the incumbent right. People expect you to do things that a second third. They want you to be a future hall of Famer rat and I know it's frustrating. I I empathize with the in in that regard because I went through it but if they're sustains that you're not doing your feel. I don't know maybe little entitled because you are a first round draft. Pick and you're not doing things that you need to do you to really really make yourself better. Make yourself a better professional. Then you really deserve a lot of the criticism you're getting because this is not coming from us to media or are you on report. Look at you reporting your TMZ man this is legit within the building coaches that have made these comments comments sources that have leaked out so yeah I that's the only thing I empathize with him is the depression that you have but hey drafted at high. I got to perform so all about just getting paid right now..

"How good were you really also my notes yesterday was potentially the last game ever in an NFL season with uh-huh baseball place now not potentially. What's movie lay it bill? It's fine. That's right. I'm trying. I'm trying to help you out here. That's possibly well because the last game that's going to be played in Oakland on a baseball fields because they're moving obviously next year and there's no other it feels that are shared baseball football facilities right now so unless for whatever reason a baseball team in a football team in the future start sharing facility again. Yesterday is the last time that that will have happened okay so they're leaving open yet because everyone was saying definitively. This is the last infield dirt game. You're ever going to see which I kinda got up for a little bit. I'm like Oh aw yeah because my wife's now paying a little bit more attention to football and last week. She noticed her in the the Monday night. Football doubleheaders wise third on the field. This was a totally foreign concept tour really yes she magic. I guess she just learning about it now and I kind of feel sad for her because she just found out about this concept and now it's being ripped away. I kind of liked it when the marlins and the dolphins remember always hearing on Monday air whatever the day after the game was the Monday night game on Tuesday the complaining about the dirt so dangerous oh I can't believe are and I'd go to the moral gains and I'm like. Oh The marlins complain about all these stupid stupid lines drawn all over the field. This is ridiculous looking but I liked it. I liked it Oakland. They have a different setup because in case much more of the field yeah because the Oakland Coliseum L. A. Siham or whatever the hell it's called now. It's like they're something energy costs or something I think I don't know whatever so they they're feeling the oracle they sponsor everything. Their field is like right in the middle like the MARLINS. If you remember obviously I I would think everybody here remembers. The marlins used to have like the corner so it would be the the -til monster would come down and those would be the kind of just be like often like one of the end zones almost like in the corner would be the diamond but it Oakland. It's like right in the middle of the field because they have a stranger settlement in the baseball game. You'll see there's like eight thousand yards on each like between the stands and the lines because the placement is different. I think second base for the baseball field is like right at midfield yeah just to try to paint it. It's interesting. I'm like it feels like it goes from like thirty thirty. I've always wondered when they like the fields back together and stuff like that. What do they do with the pitcher's mound like how does the pitcher's mound disappear because it's not there and it's not. I thought that I heard and I could be wrong. Obviously obviously that it later went in somehow but how would like you'd have just a circle that rise isn't that can't be right. They have to just totally remove all the dirt. You'd think right but they have to flat. PITCHER's mound football should be played with a pitcher's mound in in the field like that would be great but you really unhealthy. It'd be talking about healthy unhealthy. Remember were they loved. One Houston had the hill in Centerfield. Could you imagine the ball spotted and like half the line is on the pitcher's mound and half the line is not on it and you imagine the ball being spotted and it just keeps rolling off just has to be great. No It'd be horrible horrible experience imagine kicking off the pitcher's mound. I did like ticket. I did like it with those dolphins teams. I think I had like a Dan Marino poster which like he was wearing the home whites and pants and Jersey were just like had all this this klay on it is just cool. I had drew bledsoe posts or two and he had the dirt on his pants and like he played that game in Miami. Play that game in Miami. It was just a part of that whole dolphins aesthetic which we saw them throwback to that was the best takeaway from the game is man. Go back to the old uniforms. Everybody's in agreement right. The what do you think the most famous like dirty uniform moment is. It's got to be the bloody sock. No I was going to say it's the it's the Tivo game where it was really rain. In the field is a mess and he slid leg and read pain. He's like he was covered in blood. They use that all the time to make can look like this monster war running down the field covered in blood and it's like now. Is this the bad paint a fab. Pj does look pretty cool. So what else is in there my final note note. Actually it was dolphins. My vote was dolphins related. We didn't get to yet flora said Yeah. We left some yards on the road food out there. It's alright you okay. It's you know it's nice good. Don't worry one day I just want to. I don't want you to struggle with confidence. I want you to stay aboard but you're you're putting out good out there but not good tape. It's all about tomorrow and useless now asked me again. What is it Brian says we put we left. Some Europe's cut the last one that I didn't get to his dolphins related. Brian Flora says quote. We left some yards out. There sure did all of them some things we'll talk to at one point in the game the Patriot would've taken points over yards their floors one point and that was also sorry I was also when it was when there were zero point and they called timeout with four seconds left. I was also before I was yelling about it and non-existent safety screaming field goal feels. Go cake a field goal because what would like you don't WanNa be shut out. Just kick a field goal. It looks Super Bush. It looks super cheap. Yeah are horrible. Hey well I'll always take that not shutout moral Victory Against Clinton and the ACC championship mark drove right down the field kicks three. You gotTa kick three there so you don't get embarrassed and you don't get shut out. They haven't been shut out at home by this feel. You're like ten yards away. Kick a field goal. Everyone's pointing to the point that we have missed it. Oh my God I would have been great. Well I mean what they ended up doing was calling timeout to try to score points to try to get in the end zone and they end up throwing yet another. Did you like the end zones. It's because of the throwback thing right why they had the diamonds and Roy pointed this out to like it has to be just white orange because they share and they write Miami so both both teams but when when they're both not playing the same weekend home do they do a special canes one like if the canes are home in the dolphins aren't will they have a special Ed Kane's because that diamond situation. I'm assuming as just because of the fact that a throwback. It's not going to look like next week. They'll probably just GONNA go back to the old Blackie ocoee Miami thing but I mean the canes are going to be here. What like six straight weeks or something five six three weeks and the dolphins are on the road next week. Why can't you just paint it differently differently. I would like to have that that old Miami Hurricanes endzone script back clean yeah. It's always like the safe it just says. Miami and it's like super generics functions nations for both teams. You just said the were diamond and it made me think that I saw the live action Aladdin this weekend. Oh Yeah you anyone else in that. No I saw it. I saw it in the theaters not a fan. No I did diamond that you think of that diamond in the rough geniuses theme I saw no it and I thought it was a decent nostalgia because they're singing songs that you know right so it's a different take. Obviously I prefer the cartoon like `bout. `Bout thirty minutes into this movie becomes big Willie. Show and that turned a lot of people off and I was actually cool with it. Becoming the big willy show I was fine. My big complaint was Jaffar are he wasn't like they made such a good job in that cartoon of like with his thin face and he looks so maniacal and this guy he just wasn't doing it for me. I I. AJ far. I attribute a decent. I think they needed to go older and like like just croupier older. Probably older during croupiers looked like kinda creepy voice. I don't know I just yeah he's too young. It was far older I remember in the cartoon being like Ooh Ooh far like I needed to take a shower after every scene. I know who the perfect four would have been hold on. Let me get his name. Wow Sasha Baron Cohen No. Have you guys seen a serious movie on Netflix. It's a series right yeah. I think and it's like it's a drama yeah. He's playing like a real person yeah. I haven't seen it but it's not a movie I think it's it's a series to to watch the roast of Alec Baldwin last night. I saw that you were like tailgate and yeah. I was about your instagram story habits. It's why did you need to put up the entire stepbrothers that is a good can't hear anything like you're far away from the volume up on your phone. I I listened back to it. If your volume's up you can hear it but don't you have to take into consideration. Chris the people that are watching the instagram stories you walk up closer to the TV and you put the volume up for them so take it easy. Amen I got is also a strange angle demand. That's funny. That's funny but I didn't watch it yeah because because I know it well I would watch it. If the angle we're better you got to tap through it. Don't swipe you mean. Those of you know. I was just like a third that means I get the views like so in my mind. You watched it thank you. How was the Rosiak. That's just for your own satisfaction. I mean I don't even really look at it but I just like to know it. I I didn't watch it I I. It's a comedy central to go to the guide to record it. I have recorded and I ended up. That's like when I just stumbled will the pond. That movie in that scene saw this yeah grandma. I watched Sunday night football. I don't I don't know what to make it. Are you hoping that we you watched it and we told you what happened. 'cause just bring it up conversation. You Know Okay Banner Day for you know you're doing yeah. That's fine. Just try yeah man. "I feel really bad for you not at all flexing because the browns were the first to do it and they weren't doing it this publicly and guys. We're not there in the media. This has potential to be one of the ugliest things we've ever seen sitting that were two weeks into this and you already have people leveraging the media. This is the thing on twitter with Dolphin often fans X. Complaining Dolphin Flint Dolphin Fan saying hey be bad but not this bad like who really cares. I get it this things. Yesterday's lost these first two losses. It's embarrassing embarrassing but no one's GonNa like I mean. Maybe they'll go down as historically bad team but that's all it will be who cares. It's not like they're trying to win. I'd rather be doing what they're doing right now. Then be oh to with Tannahill and like you know just in this like land of you could still be bill. We know we're doing right now. You look even close. I'm going to take you at your word like you're saying this is better than than being owned two tannehill and look the results of the same but you wanted Tan. I know I realized like as I was saying that sentence. I'm like wow. I've really flipped on but I'm here and I'm doing it. I'm supporting them. This seems GonNa Break Dude. What was it like Locker Room Roy. It was a Morgan that locker room absolutely amore and when we get to Kenyan drake he I didn't know what was going on with handle as I like to call kindy. He didn't know what was going on with the trade rumors and he started off talking about and he doesn't know about the validity of the trade rumors and then make fitzpatrick didn't want to talk about the trade rumors either so it was it was bad in there yeah my whole thing is all this stuff comes out when you're losing when you're losing at a historic clip this this is. GonNa get ugly in a way that I don't think any of us are used to seeing it. Already is but the wait a minute this this could just be a one season thing though this has they they have potential to turn this around Adam busy tweeted friendly reminder dolphins will have a hundred sixty million or so and cafes next year to go along with twelve plus traffic that means they can sign thirty two players at five million annual per year each and still find six or seven starters in the draft. They will be much better so they could thirty around in a year here. We could pick up thirty two players and six to seven guys in the draft. George do that but right now. This is the worst orn to Staunton leak who cares this is. This is a forgotten season like you've given up on the season. Everybody knows this is not a season where you're trying or you're going to do anything so if they trade people away they could get even more money if they played Dallas next week closer than people think they lose by ten all of a sudden poof back to just being a normal team. That's three like I get it. These two losses are really bad but in the long Homerun who care at this point if you're committed tanking this is fine like this makes no. What do you want them to do. Win Four Games win five games. Keep people around that. Don't WanNa be here what I'm trying to end you. Guys are all making really solid points what I'm trying to do is there is a separation between bad results on the field and being a laughingstock and coming off unprofessional and not being able to handle the locker room which is where I I listened to a podcast with to Cleveland browns players and there were saying what Hugh Jackson and when he comes out in the media and he says that's Best Job I've coaching job I've ever done and we meet it with laughter. What Hugh Jackson is really saying the stuff. That's happening in Miami right now where you know the the playing Jay Z and the training camp and this person's demanding trade and this person's been here for five minutes and things that they can they can leave the program. That stuff wasn't happening happening and you keep holding hanging your hat on well to it's just gotta come here. We can sign thirty two agents. Your franchise is going to look like such. Gotcha joke that I'm dead serious. You might see the reports coming out that says it doesn't even WANNA play here. Don't act like that then it happened that was happening with myles Garrett. I said what he doesn't have a choice. If he's drafted he has to be here so who.

"Thousand and five is a good season for the miami dolphins and just not good enough the playoffs everybody nick statements the greatest example apple of someone who leaves here and has success some place else <hes>. This organization is swallowed. Jimmy johnson bill parcells nick sabin so you might as well start over. I will say that it was pretty week for them to send flora's out to defend it when that ain't his choice and he's out here saying all that bullshit. We ain't tanking because okay. We've got terrible players who are going to really try. Try heart. That's that's all he's saying. We're going to really try as hard as we can with bums with hobos even thirty three percent of the winning seasons in the last fifteen years for the dolphins oftens. Can we just let him say that. It's not tanking like what do we want him to say. Do you want him to come out and say we're tanking but chris. It's obviously putting obvious everyone's why does he have to come out and tell the players that he still has. Hey guys we stink like letting him at least fake it for them all right. Let's do it this way. I'm dead serious about this. Go ahead and name. The three best dolphins are mondo had all those stats about everyone. The dolphins waived. Nobody picked them up twenty seven dudes they waved. Nobody picked him up. All dolphins are scavengers around whatever the patriots are waived waived him. Then navien howard's biden. Yes they just paid him. He's like i'm trusting. The process process in grant still here yeah but he's not as good as our wilson is he. You see hard. This is so deep. I guess wilkins the first sean traffic. He's gotta be in one of your top three or shot jones minka fitzpatrick. That's all all all defensive backs. They've they've got. They're going to try and smother the league with secondary everybody three their best. Three players are all defensive banks. I think you could ask what are the texans doing more than one of the dolphins. Doing i mean nick right pointed out in the trades. They made they got rid of two first. Round picks picks a second a third and cloudy. That's a huge and they got back stills tunsil and duke johnson and a couple of latex they like what are you doing leadership leadership that got four people acting as the g._m. No real g._m. They must think tunsil. I mean a lot of people are saying top five top five good player dude i all i know these games aims damien woody yesterday's call laremy tunsil. The best left tackle in the game. L. is pro football focus says and maybe they're saying that he's top five. I don't unaware everyone's getting this from. I i remember a lot of drive killing penalties when i think of laremy tunsil this is a good trade for the dolphins though if they're not going to be good they got what to. I the second some pieces right. That's what i'm saying. I didn't see tonsils a top five left tackle. I saw him as maybe a top fifteen left tackle so that's what i'm i agree. I'm not happy to see stills tunsil..

"Yeah. I was in the trenches plays like six times again. I mean have you seen what he looks like. He's not even like two hundred pounds. Basic could make the argument. John dennys not actually actually a football player. I'm dead serious like if you saw him in a mall. You wouldn't think to yourself wow that guy plays for the dolphins specialist. He's a special. It's all he can do. It's also very difficult. Have you ever tried snap and what does that mean. All a quarterback can do is throw the ball. I mean he's not kicking field goals true. A quarterback back is also a specialist. A quarterback can be multifaceted. Can you guys get me the career tackles jon denning who played until he was forty years old and is the longest tenured dolphin. How many times did he run down the field and make attack. You know what i swung on this. John denny was better at his job than any quarterback position dan's touting as being so important as the best dolphin. They've had any specialty. I've now turned. He's the most important dolphin and they just lost and he's the dolphin even that was best at his job for how long fourteen years now and they got rid of him. It can't be argued. No one was better at their job than he was. None of them are still here. I remember remember some questionable snaps to a punter. John denny actually had some impressive sets. He's he's forced fumble. He's recovered two fumbles and he has eleven eleven tackles so one per season less than the last three seasons heads zero tackles fourteenth. That's job lane lane although and literally runs down the field that make us stay in his the weird what happened in two thousand and thirteen he had before two thousand and thirteen he had gone one two three four he'd gone four seasons without recording a tackle in two thousand and thirteen he he had four career year contract. It was a special teams coach here. It's so us off to me. He's played to even though he's the longest tenure dolphin and he started his career in two thousand five. He played two playoff games. I mean it's just i'm sorry to be a jerk about this. I mean he's fine. He played got here while but it's just everyone's celebrating. I'm like he's this historic figure in this town. It's like what are you talking about. He's this long snapper. You just try to keep a job every year and he did it. Oh i assured him because he did get a tackle in the playoffs who can forget his tackle against the baltimore ravens in two thousand and eight that was his finest season because the dolphins went to the players think about this <hes> the dolphins in fifteen years. The dolphins have had two winning seasons right in fifteen years and that's one of them fifteen. I don't know if that's winning. I know they've had to play off. Let me know. I think it's winning. I think winning more than they've lose than they've lost. They have only done that twice in the last fifteen years. What an apocalyptic mess. It's a dumpster fire filled with shit burning feces for fifteen years so then you're happy about this rebuild you have to be because they weren't going to win anything thing with fitzpatrick and josh rosen they were going to win five games and at least now you're getting future picks. The part. That's upsetting to me is they've lost all those offensive it's of linemen that they spent first round picks on and never could block but now everybody wants them. It's tunsil. It's a man it's mike pouncey. You spent all of these. He's first round picks on these guys. Other people want them. You couldn't block anybody with him. And now you're going into the home opener with bad quarterback play and you don't. We'll have a tackle like you're you. Gotta go find tackle. They had three winning seasons in fifteen years in two thousand five. There were nine seven two thousand eight eleven and five and then who could forget two thousand sixteen every tendency but they had two tie seasons in the middle there two eight two eight eight so yeah nick sabin coach at brought john denny in he went nine and seven and two thousand.

"Today that the great solace for the dolphins is always Chinping tripping the champion on his way up to the podium. Dolphins ain't point dog. Minnesota by the way. God remember that forever and one everyone fired next week when they do what team which I lose on the road. I saw the column I saw column after the game. I couldn't believe Mike column after the game should get more time. Yes. Absolutely. That's would a genius. I'm telling you, the optics of him taking a pen to paper and charting things out. He was drawing up that play even though I heard that they practice it. Every Saturday charting that play dude up right there. What did g it's a it's a it is a great play for a lot of different reasons. But not the least which did you guys see that Nick Sabin had an interesting interview in which he talked in great detail about being high school quarterback and winning the state championship. And being like the quarterback of his team at fifteen coach right comes to the sideline. And what he learns is in the key moment. It's not about the place get it to your best players and the idea that they got it to stills and Parker. And then at the end Drake is their fastest guys. The is healthy guy. They got left, and that's the play involved all of them. Yeah. I I always go down with the best player. Eight Cowboys said it with more Cooper it didn't work. And then it worked, man. We gotta amazing town. I know locally. We're not going to do the dolphins. Call that much. I just wanted to tone set. What did he do with that? Because we just laughing at how bored cephlon was at the beginning of its Chesley. The Mike's pop, and and no one knows what's going on. I actually wanna play the the patriots call more. But for context will do the comparison. Here's the dolphins radio. Call Jimmy Savile, courtesy five sixty Q, and we can say that. Now Cousy standing about the fifty yard line. He couldn't tackle anybody. I'll white back there. Well, I don't walk down up up in here..

"But he was evolved fully on Friday soul. Elusive like Andre branch will play on Sunday against Detroit Lions guard Jesse Davis elbow, but he was involving practice fully on Wednesday and Thursday and Friday. So Alissa QB ready to go tied-in AJ derby, and this is one particular situation because AJ derby is nursing a foot injury. But he was involving practice fully on Wednesday and Thursday Friday. He was listed as limited. So his game status is listed as questionable. Also, Frank gore. Running back non injury related was not involved in practice on Wednesday. But he did practice on Friday. So he is ready to go wide receiver too, keen grant shoulder slash hamstring was involved in practice fully on Wednesday Thursday and Friday. So he is ready to go for seven shows. Harry's calf injury did not practice Wednesday or Thursday or Friday. So he's listed. As out safety. Reshad Jones shoulder injury did get involved in project fully on Wednesday Thursday Friday. So he is ready to go. These necks four players. I'm gonna tell you about that their names appeared on the injury report goes as follow cornerback. Bobby McCain knee injury Wednesday. He was limited Thurdsay. He was limited. But on Friday he was a full goal. But he is listed as I told you before as questionable TJ McDonnell knee injury. He was involved in practice fully on Wednesday Thursday and Friday wide receiver. Devante Parker quad injury. He was involved in practice fully on Wednesday Thursday and Friday, of course, defensive end camera way. Knee injury. Limited on one's limited on Thursday. But Friday, he was a full go quarterback. Ryan tannehill. We all know what's going on. We Ryan tannehill. He was limited on Wednesday. Limited on Thursday limited on Friday. And he is listed as out defensive and Johnson. Woodward Kokoshin did not practice ones. Eight Thursday or Friday. So he is listed as out and that is the latest regarding the dolphins injury report. And let me tell you dolphins fans what a performance by y receiver Alber Wilson against the Chicago Bears. Six reception for one hundred fifty five yards and two touchdowns in my books to fern office. So far of the mammy dolphins received in a with the signing of wide receiver. Alber Wilson who is helping the Miami doff. Any way possible that performance against the Chicago Bears was amazing. And Wilson is being the difference maker right now offense at first we were asking ourselves. What should we expect from wide receiver Albert Wilson, especially with jabbar's Landry being traded to the Cleveland Browns? So with that being said right now, the Miami Dolphins fern office of Chris Greer and Mike Tannenbaum they receive an A P 'cause Auber Wilson is helping the Miami Dolphins any way possible. And especially on that big touchdown run is amazing. How he just got the football and went all the way down feel after miss tackles and more mistake os. And the Miami Dolphins guy a touchdown what? Now only one touchdown. They actually got two touchdowns from wide receiver Albert Wilson. So far Albert Wilson for this season has twenty three reception three hundred fifty nine yards and four touchdown. And if you look at his games this season so far for example in the game against the Oakland Raiders he has to reception for seventy four yards and a touchdown against the New York Jets. He had three receptions for thirty seven yards and one touchdown. So our Wilson is being heavily involved right now offensively for your Miami Dolphins. "dolphins" Discussed on The Dan Le Batard Show with Stugotz

"Look, this dolphin steam is exciting like they're gonna. They're fun, but are they fund just because Jay color isn't around. Look, they're gonna score between twenty five twenty eight points every game. Can you beat it? That's what that's what the season is going to be. We're going to be in that like upper twenty point range and the defense. If they're creating turnovers, it's going to be a good defense. The defense is going to have to create turnovers, it's going to need to be something that you can count on because even though I'm really impressed with defensive line and how aggressive they are, they seem to be deep there even with the injuries that they sustained and hopefully William as is out for an extended period of time. It did look kind of bad. The linebackers are a big question. I, I don't think naturally ky-ko's probably the guy that you can name nationally. There's a reason why you ask, you know, Jags fan, hey, name, dolphins, linebacker. They're going to be hard pressed to tell you somebody with good reason. When's the last time the dolphins had an above average secondary, like Sam Madison, Patrick ser tan, yeah. And now you could, you could say they have an above average secondary with eggs and mingka and Rashad. I mean, we're showers out but shot his out. But I mean, gives you hope because I think in that intermediate era. Area is where you're gonna get chewed up and it's once again picking on the linebackers a little bit. I hate to be so hard because the dolphins are three. Now you know what? Let's even do the weakness show you got a quarterback who's playing pretty well for you guys. You have some weapons, and Furthermore, you're utilizing the weapons. We said that Adam case your offense. Absolutely needs to be good. If you're reputed to be the offense of genius, no matter the players that you've laws, which you sort of had a hand in and in j.j ice case, pushing them out the door and driver's his case, not wanting to pay for that. Your offense had to produce and they're putting it up and you have to give grace gays credit because he at the beginning of the season when everyone was crushing this roster ESPN had them at the bottom of their power rankings. Sports Illustrated had them going three and thirteen Adam gazes like this is the roster I want in terms of just the right guys in this locker room and the Reno. This NFL season is incredibly hard to predict now just because. The Miami Dolphins were predicted to be last by ESPN. But last week we said we knew two things definitively was at the pills, and cardinals were bad, and the corals almost one and the bills pulled off the biggest stunner in the league since one thousand nine hundred five in terms of an underdog winning. So now maybe you can't look at that as two wins, but there's some room here for the dolphins to slip up three. You know, the rest of the division is one in two, and you got the patriots next, and you would love to win that game, but it doesn't crush your hopes if they lose that game, I take three and one. Are you ready to change your seven and nine prediction? Because I have your original, you had them losing yesterday originally? Well, I had them the titans win jets, win raiders loss patriots loss. So had them at two and two through four games. Now it's looking like it's going to be three and one. So there you have a loss. So I have them now if you base it off my predictions now they're going to finish eight. Nate? No, I'm letting you change your prediction. Are you sticking with that eight eight. We're going to update, so we'll forget about the first three. We'll just we'll say. That's a win. So you have losing next week? Yes. All right. Bengals winner loss, whereas it it's at Cincinnati. Bengals win. Wow, win. Okay. Bears winner loss at home dolphins while win lions winner loss your home home game dolphins. Wow. That's.
