"Who who among us will? Well, he that's right. But he's very talented very towns and the steelers have. A solid audience they surely do better burger has been solid so far this is under hundred and forty passing yards and three of his four games solid. He hasn't been amazing. He's been solid right the vertical passing game has not been a string for them so far this year but Chase Klay polls showed he need to be forty yards down the field to make a play. So I'm interested I've got him as wide receiver twenty nine this week I'm trying not to overreact too much to last week. But I'm also trying to make clear that's not something that I think is going to be strictly an outlier for his career he's GonNa. End Up being a useful part of this offense and probably sooner than later, what are you doing I agree with that so there's a tweet that we got from at T. W. fifty says does chase, Klay will only maintain value with deontay Johnson out and it's always tough when these guys breakout with such massive games because it's like, how do you follow that performance up? Where do you think about him? So I'm curious understanding Deontay Johnson obviously dealing with an injury does that impact the way that you're looking at chase cly pool for this week whether or not Johnson does or does not play he's out then obviously you feel much better right To this specific question, my answer would be no does not only maintain value, right? Yeah. Into Johnson out again, more value with Johnson out. Yes. Of course, if he has less competition for targets, that's good for players fantasy value and certainly somebody's Deonte Johnson. But I've said I said this after that game that my expectation here is and we've been hearing about Chase Klay Pool for a while now you know just Out of camp and everything that steelers really love this kid and you know the tape from college is really impressive on Chase Clayton. But basically, it's going to be Klay Pool and deonte Johnson on the outside Juju in the slot, and they're going to go three wide quite a bit and we've seen this offense support multiple fantasy relevant wide receiver so. There, there is a scenario I. Don't think it's beyond the the possibilities that. Chase Klay winds up with more fantasy points than, deontay Johnson or Juju Smith Schuster of those three guys at all full health. I don't think I. Don't think it's a give guarantee that Claes chase clay is third on that list. If that's fair. Yeah I mean. So here's a fun. Story for you to say Yeah What are you at my wedding? You spend a lot of time with one of my best friends are world spike who's a gloves by the Wesleyan with me at Great Lacrosse player great dude he's A. Huge football fan. He has been all in on chase play pool of him being these sleeper wide receiver of the year and fantasy football an elite we play together in a spike had the highest scoring week. I. Think in a long time in the league in large part because chase capable was on his roster. He's also got Christian McCaffrey in saquon Barkley it's a keeper League auction leak. So there are ways which you can actually make that work. Right? Can we get spiked echoes the podcast? Last we did. Anymore event sounds like he knows what he's doing is he's working league office as well. As he's been bugging me about chase capable as these sleeper amongst wide receivers since like the day he got drafted by listen to your buddies up, we actually brought this up on the fantasy football marathon. I gave him a shot at the time. Okay and it was unite the desk and spike clipped? This DART. Now a post at the time like, Hey, thanks for the heads up our thanks for the shadow field and now every time capable does something nuts which before Sunday? Yeah. He had like five incredible catches, right? Yeah. He's talented. Yeah. So every time that happens you re post that video on twitter so wants to go find at Spike Mal Ma L. on it's on twitter. You can go see a guy who loves chase capable more than two at loves I any now else? One tight end here. One tight end yet to Bob, tongue in your guide. Him Play is good enough to be a starting option for the packers play the Buchan ears on Sunday in Tampa I just again same thing with Chase Klay Pool or Bob Tiny I don't know how you bench him after that kind of a game. Do we expect obviously to go way down of course we do but the fact is like The guy just came up this three touchdown game. He's awesome. We know Alan, isn't going to be there. We expect this game to be high scoring against the buccaneers. He's clearly earned Aaron Rodgers Trust Rogers was talking about post game at just about every time I throw it to him. He catches the ball like I mean that's the other. The other thing is that he's doing what Rogers wants them to do or where he needs to be. So I. Just can't imagine saying like, Hey, just spent a lotta money or my number one were picked to get them but I ain't gonNA use them stop it. You're starting Bob in this week and we'll see what happens against Tampa. Bay, I play in a super super deeply like thirty player rafters I have Darren Waller. So I normally have not thought about my in pot spot behind him, but I grabbed Bob in in the draft this year for a buck. Oh, we have bought my roster. For the week. So I. Feel. Very excited. Come. In and now feel himself on Thursday. What's GONNA. have be on speed dial. That's right. We're going to have a podcast on Thursday with my clay. We're going to preview the game tomorrow night about rankings and news and so much more. For Daniel Matthew. I'm field we're back on Thursday piece out..

"Alright. Pittsburgh. steelers, fans. For the second part of our live Mike discussion of Chase Klay Pool. Man What a start to the season it has been for the kid I know. The steelers and Kevin Colbert kind of caught the ire of some steelers fans when they drafted a wide receiver with the forty ninth. Pick when J. K. Donman's was still on the board and a wide receiver that some people thought might be there in the late second round or third round potentially the steelers could have got him somewhere later in the drought that that was the mindset of some the steelers fans but boy, did they do a great job yet again? Drafting wide receivers you can't doubt Kevin Colbert anytime. He drafts a wide receiver in the third or under higher. I'm going to say that for the rest of the time as long as Kevin. Colbert's the GM and his team there's been some misses in later rounds, but really all laid around drafting there's more misses than there are hits just just look back in history those those misses at wide receiver. We're kind of more telegraphing expected and it happened when there's a ton of wide receiver depth on this team when you look at the last four years Chase Klay Pool. Was the highest wide receiver drafted higher than Juju Smith, Schuster higher than James Skin higher than Deontay Johnson going back even further you're strapped higher than Emmanuel Sanders. Then Tony Brown. Higher than Mike Wallis, the receivers that I can really think of here that were drafted the higher. then. Chase Klay Pool in this Ben Rothlisberger tenure I wanNA say Sinn Tonio homes I can't really think of any other receiver that was higher than chase capable and that should say a lot to you and a lot to the credit of Kevin Colbert who's done a great job of drafting these wide receivers like no one else in the NFL, seems to be able to do this dealers have another big time target for Ben R- author and Holy. Desserts. Even core look outstanding. Being said, it really feels like the there's not enough of the ball to feed all the mouse on this offense. It really seems like each and every week that one of these guys kind of fade into oblivion when it comes to the targets week one of course was a huge. Game Deontay Johnson got his touches and James Washington God has looks to chase. Klay. Collecting might have only been targeted twice in his first game Eric Brown also was that kind of disappeared not one. You continue along the season Deontay. Johnson. Has Been Injured a couple times and those games he kind of disappeared himself. Of course, due to injury this last week's Game Juju. Smith Schuster didn't really get too many targets at all thrown his way not to huge numbers for him. But when you look at the trajectory and you look at these games, chase continues to get the ball more and more and More and more, and it's something my co-host for know your enemy Jeffrey Benedict and I have talked about in the past when it comes these rookie wide receivers and comes to gain chemistry with Ben Rothlisberger, it really comes down to catching the ball and then when he throws it your way catching it again and catching it again and so on and so forth throughout an entire season to gain that chemistry. Chase Klay pools already at that point when you look back at some of these great rookie receiving years the first one that pops up with Mike Wass, which seems to be the best rookie wide receiver single year of Ben. Rothlisberger kind of tenure. He didn't quite break thousand yards on say. Because, no wide receiver rookie wide receivers actually broken thousand urge with Ben. Rothlisberger at quarterback. But Michael also kind of the most prolific and he really didn't kind of get rolling until the latter half of the season. Ben Roethlisberger doesn't usually trust these rookies and he is with Chase Klay. I, mean when it's coming these high pressure situations, the entire offense as a whole turning his way to be Mr Clutch on these short yardage plays they're not. They're not turning around and heading off to James Connor they're not throwing the ball and slants did you they're not giving it to Deontay? James Washington Hebron, Vance none of those guys that not even Derek. Will hot the fullback in short yardage situations. The ball is going to chase Klay poll. Let that sit with you for a second because we're only four games into the season and Chase Klay has been getting the ball to a level that no one else has went under this banner authors per quarterbacking tenure he's on pace. For a thousand. Yard. season. and He is on pace for twenty touchdowns. I know that is probably not going to happen. That would be an absolutely outstanding year and I would virtually guarantee you. He was picking up that offense rookie of the year award and he'd being consideration for offensive player of the year across the entire NFL I don't think that's going to happen but. Those are some insane numbers for a rookie receiver with Ben Rothlisberger as a quarterback and he's only done it in first four weeks of his career. This guy is going to get more and more targets as year goes on. He already seemingly on paper looks to be this team's number one wide receiver I want that to sink in with you for a minute to. He given the steelers so much wiggle room when it comes to this extremely tight for agency that's coming up of course you. Smith, Schuster is a free agent I know he wants to stay in Pittsburgh. He said on a number of occasions I. Think he's one of those guys that can looks at Lake on bell and Antonio Brown and realizes the grass is always greener..

"The Texans are up 21 to 17 to Shawn Watson has two touchdowns in 202 yards through the Air James Connor 41 yards on the ground. Randall Cobb for the Texans does have a touchdown and 61 yards so far, so the Texans Doing well against a really good Steelers defense. It is 21 to 17 right now, about 11 minutes left in the third quarter again. Texans up 21 to 17. We have an update, though on the Steelers, they're wide receiver Deontay Johnson has a possible concussion. Also fullback Derrick what I told you about this earlier hamstring. Both have been ruled out for the remainder of the game against the Texans. So unfortunately for the Steelers, bitten by the injury bug and unfortunate for the Watt family, who had three players, not one, not 23 players from the White family playing in this Texan Steelers game, unfortunately one is out with a hamstring. The rest of the game. What, all that to say anything at the half years we're heading into the second half of all these games? That surprising is they're the one that doesn't know what to order from. Subway commercial says. Come here every day. I love that commercial. I'm a sucker for commercials, though. I love them inspired as I'm watching right now, I mean, there's some stuff that really sticks out like the Eagles. I'm just how poorly that first half is gone, and I'll tell you what I like. I think that stands out to you know, I'm saying, like you said earlier. Philly is lucky. They don't have fans there because you see how they treat Santa Claus like these guys. Whatever nightmares these, these booze would permeate their soul. If they were able to hear them, So I'm looking at Minnesota them turning things around. Potentially. I think the Raiders Patriots game is poised to have an incredible finish here in the second half is those two teams and started find a little bit more rhythm. Biggest story to me in the one o'clock Slater games. It's about four bills. Yeah, I agree. Buffalo bills are If they can hold form here and continue what they're doing. Improved three and with a convincing win over a very good Rams team, and it speaks to a little bit of, um what the Rams have to be offensively. Which feels like perfect when they go off script. They don't have that ability. Defensively. There's Ramsey. There's Donald. But what else is there? And I look at Buffalo. I say This seems physical on both sides of ball they've got Ramsey hasn't been good today. They've got speed, and they've got one of best quarterbacks in the NFL. And I truly believe that in Josh Allen is that kind of good. Can you see that screen? I don't want to read that update. I can't read another update. Limpet Wow, 40, Niners tight end Jordan. Reed has been ruled out for the rest of Sunday's game. Today's game. Wow, that's some sort of leg injury and ankle and ankle me. I now have to go on a deep dive of injuries to starters for a team through Three weeks of a season. The 40 Niners have to obliterate that record. This this is this is not okay like something's wrong. I don't know if it's that artificial turf like you and I were talking about this is not okay. This is too many. It's It's so weird. It's weird like it's constant. That's two starters. Now they've lost today. I think they lost four last week. Let's start with people today. Insect game and, yes, it's at the exact same stadium last. I'm not even exaggerate. I think you almost get to a point where if you're the 40 Niners and say, I'm not going back here we're taking no, we're taking our team were walking off the field like we're done. I'm not even trying to be funny or like a like Completely like radical here With this you are losing. You were decimated your roster playing on this field. There's been They've tried to examine it. They've looked at it. There's another rash of injuries again today. I mean, this is Insane If I'm any other team that's getting prepared to go there and weeks moving forward. Yeah, you could like file a lawsuit against the turf at MetLife..

"Campbell seventeen percent. Cordell Patterson sixteen percent rostered but he's a running back at them. Yeah. But he is also eligible wide receiver. Wouldn't that be interesting if Cordell Patterson ended up being a thing for the bears and you could start him at receiver even though he's more running back that happened in the middle of the year a couple years ago and then the. There was talk about switching his position midseason that was. Yeah. No, there were a lot of. Tops. CBS CBS has ineligible at both. James Washington eleven percent rostered. There's just like no thought that the guy who led the steelers receiving last year could actually be the number to seaver on the team. Seems like a problem. That's that's kind of a mistake in my opinion I. The the issue is obviously Klay pooled their second round pick is more similar to the point and just made about Westbrook. He overlaps Washington skill set more than Deontay Johnson's, and he's probably GonNa take some snaps from Washington but that's too much certainty he should be on more than this. Okay and as far as tight ends go rob Gronkowski also I want to say Van Jefferson is eight percent a deep league. There's been some Van Jefferson Buzz we've seen them use three receivers before. So I like that. I couldn't really find. EG tight ends we're over rostered maybe Gronkowski at ninety three percent jared. Cook. But. But Jared Cook I think is a week one starter as he dave I agree. I think he is. Yeah. So Yep. Four touchdown touchdown. Yeah. I'm not going to spend much time on tight ends. Well, you know I think when we preview the Games and you just want some streamers cook scored. I think cooks. Gordon both games against Jags the books last year by recall he might have. Looking at the linebackers and safeties and wondering why they're really going to dedicate one of their great linebackers covering Jared Cook I don't think they will. It'll probably be a safety that's a match that I think reasonable even okay. those would be your overall players some things I want to promote real quick. We have a mailbag every we record on Friday but airs on Saturday so you have an opportunity throughout the week to get your questions in but you're gonNA they're gonNA be starters questions you're GonNa want more trade questions. "He was a lesson and you know Chris in Paris impressive the first game against the eagles they couldn't cover first game as a rookie and it was up and down quarterback play he really produced. They don't have a whole lot of skill guys other than him in Washington. Sure. You know I'm always somewhat skeptical of of which is not the you're. The first argument made is that he's really good and the second argument is, but who else is there on the depth chart I'm always like well, if the guy is really good. I don't particularly care. They'll find someone else Stephen Sims. We'll get you know fifty targets and we'll be a we'll be bummed. But the point is that Terry maclaurin is is the truth and I put him third on this list probably because he's the one I'm closest in lockstep with on the market right but I have him if I were doing in the order in which I like them, I certainly am drafting Chair McLaren before I'm drafting deontay Johnson. I. He he is legit wide receiver to he has the potential to be a wide receiver one for fantasy. I could easily say maybe someday, deontay Johnson could grow up and be what maclaurin looked like it is rookie year he just he has that thing of a combination of really good deep speed I think he's quicker than day. Johnson's extremely quick and he's just got that look about him of coordination of just. Working his body to be where the ball is supposed to be thrown when the balls in his name vicinity of boxing is out despite not having a big strong short guy. But he's certainly not one of those big physical guys he he's really has the potential to be fantastic. It's funny. I watch every single game every single week. That's what my podcast is was just saying what I saw in games and I loved that Rendezvous Barbara got to do so many of Washington's games last year because I run is really good. One of my favorite Color announcers and I Always, paying attention Ron Day latches onto a guy especially because I'll hear them week after week after week. And he kept saying this maclaurin Guy this Terry maclaurin guy he can't be stopped they can't they have to be his way and it immediately, my my radar is up like Rodney knows what he's talking about and give him a second look and man I I, I, said I think he's the truth. Let's get to some guys. You're not as high on and people should stay away from draft gangs fast when you're playing this season I one I kinda noticed this is well David Montgomery the running back for the bears you know first of all, I'm not very high on their offensive line second of all. I know he wasn't a speed guy, but I was still expecting more last year when I watch bears games..

"The steelers are better off doing either one hundred percent or zero percent, because figuring out anything else in between his tough, and for those of you that are saying Oh. But they only sold half the tickets that was half of the available tickets that weren't out to season ticket holders. I mean on a low estimate. Season ticket holders are seventy percent of the stadium, more likely eighty to eighty five, but even if it's only seventy when they go to sell those other thirty percent, they sold half of them that that means there are only fifteen percent reduced, so you're not even anywhere close to being able to do fifty percent capacity. Let alone like a twenty five percent capacity so. Beykal any other solutions your thoughts on it. Pray for vaccine. On the I've I feel like there's nothing really that can be added like. But no I like I feel like. It's either all or nothing like. What? Else can be done at this point I I? Really don't have an answer for that. Put plexiglas up between every single seat. That's probably caused fortune snow. a yeah. No, like I. I I I. Don't have the Sushi. If I did I probably. Fell right now, but yeah, no! Prey just. Just say. This help us help this pass by, and honestly a lot of people talk about a vaccine like I say the other option is an extremely effective treatment that if they had that, that's the other thing that people wouldn't have to fear. If they if they caught it, they would still want to say at risk. People stay away, but people who aren't at as much at risk. If you do catch it as a treatment for you, that would help out a lot I. do have to answer one question. Before we get onto our actual preview part of the show and that is Joe Cement know about how much season tickets cost. He has no idea I'll be honest with you. The thing is what season tickets is. What's expensive is the initial investment in the C. License. So you've gotta pay. Thousands of dollars for a for the license for one seat. The tickets themselves are not that bad. I mean what what what I bought mine. My brother-in-law I that we went in together. We had a plan that if we went to half the Games and sold half the games and mark them up. You know you know some, but not too much that if we got what we really wanted, and you know some of the things, we just want to sell that one game for a big ticket like with the cowboys games, and then everything else were. Were good to just go. It would take twelve years to recover our seat license fee and we were on pace to do that because we haven't you know. Because we haven't always got as much tickets, but the tickets themselves honestly for mine minor the cheapest in the lower deck 'cause they say that the end zone seats the worst one I say the Best I love to do. I I would rather sit there than on the sidelines, but that's just me. That's the coach me who love being behind the huddle in practice rather than on the sidelines during the game. But mine are mine are roughly a thousand dollars, a seat, little bit more than that, and that includes preseason it everything, and not all the games the same price they keep dropping the prices of the preseason games and upping the prices on some of the elite games. So now we need to get into. We've been doing a countdown of of of these draft picks we. We started at seven to work the way down we had this. We had to switch the fourth round picks because of of just the way it worked out with other show so Brian. Where are we now? We are at number three, which it kind of feels like number two this year, because it's so hard for me not to call chased. Klay pulled the number one draft pick It's hard for me to call, not call. The the second round pick, but he does like last year with the Johnson Deontay Johnson feels like a second round draft pick from last year, but we're talking about High Smith now Alex. Smith was a guy that if you were watching the draft, there were a lot of people that said WHO. When he was drafted. A lot of people didn't know who he was. One of the great things about being here, bt Se and on staff. You have to know who a lot of people are right before the draft is because. You're talking about Sony mocks. You're looking at so many things in. We looked up and we knew who these guys were. I just didn't realize how good this guy was in his senior season. The guy in his first three seasons combined had a total of six sacks. Then his final season, he ends up with fifteen. But here's the Nice thing about it. He's not just one hit one. Trying to do fifteen and I couldn't figure if I got it backwards or not. I thought Brian. So, here's the thing. He's not a one hit wonder even though he had. He had a number of sex only three, and he went five times that amount his tackles for loss. His junior year eighteen and a half. Even with only three sacks tackles for loss with fifteen sacks. He had twenty one and a half. Tackles for a loss. So the last two years he had a love tackles behind scrimmage. You could, you can go ahead and break down the film on the sky, but the most important thing that I'm going to say is when you look at the press conference with. Dabo Sweeney..

I watched the game back especially him. I like to watch especially in the preseason a specific players in a go back. I wanna watch him coming out of that. Guy can run some routes and there's a reason why he was compared to antonio brown. Mr third fifth as <music> snohomish show <hes> because he is so crisp in and out of his cuts for rookie. He's only going to get better for rookie with really good question jeff if you could. I want to know if you remember the specific play i'm talking about. It might have been his first reception this past week for deontay johnson were the screen yes where he basically caught that it's funny because that's not your typical screen because it's i mean it's really fast but the ball is actually goes a little bit further downfield than than than the typical then like a bubble screen would be and the way he just caught that on the run and cut and moved. Didn't that kind kind of reminds you of a certain player that used to catch balls. Yeah you know <hes> they've run some botch it. I felt the juju was when he was rookie. They started putting in a lot of these inside screens for him because he's such a big body player. <hes> they ran a lot of those you you know. Judy goes in motion rob's ferguson ball any pitches forward. He goes underneath and it's it's really it's it's a screenplay. Get your ducks in a row so i think they're going to bring in a guy who who knows the players know who's done it with them before so he's probably gonna be richer man. You know what that's a possibility and look you still have a. I don't think he'd do anything major this year. At this point you raise sherman in helping out which he was helping out beforehand. I don't expect one to be named at this point. I just i just kind of expect expect them to go ahead and maybe have some of these veteran coaches help out unnamed that i heard of a very interesting name that i heard of. I think he's employed though the assistant receivers coach for the carolina panthers is the guy we all know jericho khatri <hes> <hes> but i think they address that in twenty twenty really i it a this is. This is a committee bad. You think spence resor returner ask captain underpants. You know what i i really think spencer's return man. He returns punts. He returns kicks. I think another guy you have the team is johnny holton. I actually think johnny houghton has a chance to make the team because he's your d- h._p. Type just like they use stories hayward bay. Here's an interesting thing popping up on live chat. What about krief so dante moncrieff on crete was brought in to be the number two thomas white says steelers don't rank wide receivers krief in washington will likely be at the same position in a rotation. They very very well could be. I mean you could just see guys on the field all the time <hes> and that's pretty much what you see and it could be those three with the other guys. It's like a like a <hes> dante johnson who had who had a nice game settled down after that muffed punt so there's there's this. They've got a wealth at wide receiver. That crazy being wants. No should dirty red make the team cash. That's tough off. He's playing like a guy that should make the team right now. <hes> there's really no. I mean it's hard to it's hard hard to get rid of a guy like that with the preseason that he's had through two games. Ryan kellerman says nobody would trade for eli. You know what i mean. People throw stuff around. Pick around for anybody but i think a lot of teams will just wait agency who gets cut..

"Deontay Johnson has just been going up and up in his foot work is great and all these other here from him. Who is that Dave my my favorite draft pick? They all all camp. He's been getting into touchdown zone touchdown then a lot so it's it's exciting. Here's the thing that I also find interesting. I know this is a side note. Ever since the pads went on the offense has won seven shots every day the defense wanted without pads but the offense is wanted with pad. You generally think that would be the other way around that. The defense would have the advantage with pads but they got. They've got options they they've they've really got options to throw to and with Ben Having more options that's going to allow hopefully not as focusing coverage on Juju which means that Mr third and fifth if they don't have a lot going on out there you're on the west coast that they could just throw so many people at them because they he he showed himself that you can get in his head. That's the biggest the thing that I factor that he's got to go with now that teams know they can get in his head. So can I do it or not. Okay so let's go to our next which is Kinda. The headline of this is the title of this episode is deciphering fact from fiction <hes> in regards to the upcoming week. <hes> the leaked was <hes> a lot of that seven. The tip jar will answer that towards the end of the show. "I just want to talk about who might talk us. We still do I think will actually start in week one when the Pittsburgh Steelers traveled to Foxboro to play the New England Patriots on Sunday night, but ball being that's going to be a great game. Oh man. I'm getting kinda jacked up for that already. I gotta be honest. I think that I don't wanna give them too much of a sidebar here. But I think that the patriots are team that team to be had so to speak, and I think that the Steelers are a team that can absolutely, you know, go in there and do severe. It's almost we'll talk about that at length. I'm sure. Between now and that but week one I think that if a narrowing it down from the nine players that were drafted, and I'm not counting a start as you know, I'm on the field for kickoff. That's a starting now. It's a defensive or offense of you are these starter. So I'm not even going to say, like if this year's went five wide in the first offense and set Deontay Johnson was the fifth wide receiver and he only plays and five snaps. Then a no. That's not what I'm tired, I'm talking about. He is the one of the main players on that for in his particular position, easy for me to say. So then comes on two players. Personally. Devin Bush that's obvious amber to Deontay Johnson. So what are they gonna do? How are they gonna utilize these players? Let's talk about them each at a time. It's even narrow narrow our focus a little bit. Let's start with Johnson good. Route runner built very much like Antonio Brown. I have not saying he's the next Antonio Brown. I'm not saying he's as good as in Tony around address, saying he is very much like interview Brown in the way that he has built the comes from the MAC that he wasn't highly regarded, although a third round pick early around pick compared to the six pack are very, very different the way that he catches the football a lot of similarities there. Now, let's look at the death in front of him. You have juju Smith Schuster. Clearly as the number one, and then you have this whole jumbled mess now. Let's let me first say that it's important to know that Deontay Johnson is not a strictly. Outside or strictly inside player. He can play both inside and outside, and he's been practicing both inside and outside threat organized team activities or OT as, as well as today minicam. So with that said, if he shows up in plays, extremely well, better than James Washington equally as good as, as Dante Moncrieff and outperforms guys like Ryan Switzer Nieto, I Rogers, which when you think about it, if he's primarily on the outside, he has a legitimate shot to make some moves to make.

"He's, he's bowlers different than the other guys because he's really the only outside guy that will stay outside most likely. But I don't think Isabel is just a slot guy because he's small. He ran four three one of the forty four reason he's fast, he can move, you know, in the they can use them in both bought. So he also I think I the way I would sort of you the carnal, receiving core coming in. I think Butler's fourth could eventually become I and I think Butler's value, long-term, dynasty wise. I would take Butler over Isabella seasonal, I'm taking his Abella over baller just because I think he's gonna play more could you rank the cardinals receivers if baller four who's? Oh, fantasy wise, Kirk FitzGerald. Isabella Butler for me. Okay me, too. Renault Butler over Isabela for me, Dave, you wanna give me a quick thought on Deontay Johnson for the Steelers. I just think there's an opening for a big play receiver there. They wouldn't have drafted Johnson. I feel the same way about Johnson going to Pittsburgh as ability to the cardinals. I think that this is a guy that they wanted I think he went a little sooner than people expected. I don't I don't think he's going to be the next Antonio Brown. But he moves real. Well, he's got good hands. I think that if he has a good training camp. He could be the. Number two receiver there. Sooner than later, he can beat out microphone, James Washington, but it's contingent on camp, and he's gotta get healthy got nicked up and rookie minicamp. He's one of those guys that his twenty seventeen numbers were better than his twenty eighteen numbers. He was a star receiver in twenty seventeen and then his numbers dipped in twenty eighteen it was, it was drastic too. So you have to wonder if that was an indication of really who the player that he is. But he went from seventy four catches twelve hundred seventy yards and thirteen touchdowns twenty seventeen to forty nine catches seven hundred sixty one yards eight touchdowns. I know nothing about Toledo football. So I don't know if the quarterback play off the line was bad, whatever. But just in terms of production, his numbers clearly took a decline. I think the Steelers you buy based on everything that I've read. They're hoping that, that's still the player that they acquired around three and their track record of receivers all over the map because they've taken one I looked at this today. They've taken one in almost every single draft in the second or third round you go back to, you know, hitting on guys like Mike Wallis in the third round from we'll miss and Tony. Oh, brown. Emmanuel Sanders in the same draft in the third round in the six round. Sanders was the third round pick juju obviously in the second round two years ago. But they missed on guys like Lima Sweden, and Sammie Coates. And, you know, we'll see James Washington performed. So they've kind of you know, they, they swing and miss this position, a lot hopefully is one of those guys that they hit him you call yourself a football fan. You don't know about Toledo rockets football with. No. It's actually I think they played Miami both in two thousand seventeen in two thousand eighteen and I kinda feel like they had a top quarterback in two thousand seventeen who graduated do not plan, two thousand eighteen but I will try to confirm that. Anyone touchdowns and twenty seven game. But see how well your college football accurate is the Utah state mascot is who. Oh, jim. I have no idea. Utah state. I have no idea. The big blue big blue. Okay, Toledo do. Yes, they had Logan Woodside in two thousand seventeen he can't replace Logan Woodson. He his seventeenth in passing yards. He actually was it was a very accomplished quarterback. So he graduated into that seventeen..

"Future. Number seventeen. This is my guy, right here Steelers wide receiver Deontay Johnson. He's my guy. I'm gonna give some insight multiple reasons here. Number one, I called the Toledo Nevada game last year for CBS sports network. So I watched Toledo play, and he is good. He tore up the Miami secondary. I don't know how but the week before Toledo played Miami into Lido, which I don't know how that game got scheduled. But at any rate, the hurricanes, not Miami, Ohio. The hurricanes like all their DB's were good and drafted he tore those kids up. I mean he let him up and he's unbelievable returner in not many guys leave the MAC early, but he did because he had dominated to such extent that it was like, okay he's a special. Player. And by the way, even if we knew nothing, other than the fact that he was a wide receiver drafted by this dealers. That's good enough for me. I mean it really is. It's it's uncanny. How good they are at drafting receivers and combine that with what I saw in person, I met with him talked with him had a good head on his shoulders, and I was just really impressed all the way around. I'd be surprised if he doesn't end up out playing his draft position. And he is gonna move into the slot. I mean he's going to be a slot receiver in Pittsburgh. That's actually kind of a concern for Judy Smith Schuster. If you don't say Johnson comes on real strong, like kinda wanted you Smith Schuster continue to play forty six for sixty percent of the snaps in the slot. I think Johnson is going to be a slot receiver. He was the best one for Turner in the entire draft average, twenty yards per punt return this past season. So he's he he he landed in a very, very good position. And I agree with you. That he's probably a guy that was very underrated before the draft. You look you go back and look at how many were Sieber successes, especially amongst small receivers that they originated as return guys in Tokyo Brown originated as a return guy. He was unbelievable punt return. Early in his career when no one knew about him for the Steelers del Beckham was unbelievable punt returner at LSU Sean Jackson was a Greek kickoff returner at cow. Even even some big Hilton was a great kickoff return, even some big guys, there's brain was unbelievable kickoff, and punt returner at Oklahoma state. It's just these guys are good with the ball in their hands. And you know, this guy is small, and he his, you know, his paper stats aren't that great at or his paper measurable, four five three at one hundred eighty three pounds but this guy's booed with the ball in his hands. And you're right. He got drafted into great great situation from the Steelers Stoorikhel ability to drop wide receivers to hey, this could this could be there slot receiver by week four this year. How about number sixteen? You mentioned him earlier cardinals wide receiver. Randy. Isabella. Yeah. Inside slot guy for cliff Kingsbury. That, that that's gonna be a theme throughout the offseason. It's not the biggest sample size going back to Texas Tech days. But that's where the guys got those are the guys that got the most production, consistently year-over-year Innis, four widespread offense where the inside bought dies. And I think that's exactly what in your belly is going to be. And I think that there is a chance that he could actually make some redraft Elise this year. If he does lockdown, one of those inside slots editions. Number fifteen ravens running back Justice hill. Number two, spark score among all running backs in by to the combine. Actually number one was Alex Barnes and talk about on the first on the initial podcast, but Justice hill was number two, and he was drafted really in the fourth round by the ravens. He was so good at Oklahoma state as a true freshman, that he kept. Chris Carson on the bench. Chris, Carson oh, by the way, finished top five in NFL in rushing yards. This past season. So hey, it takes them ability, for especially for a guy like Justice hill who's kind of was a little bit smaller to keep a guy like Chris Carson on the bench. That's a really impressive early career accomplishment. He went on to become very, very productive as both a runner in a receiver at Oklahoma state. Any landed into run. Heaviest offense. In the NFL. So I, I really liked the landing spot. I think that they're gonna envision him. It's kind of the Alvin Kamara shoe. Mark Ingram was Mark Ingram in Baltimore, of course that, you know, Mark Ingram is now the ravens Lea running back. I, I would not be surprised at Justice hill. You know it's like it's week three or week five, and we're like Justice hill deeds, the ball more, because this dude is awesome. I mean, I think that we can very much envision that scenario. I think he's a pick in redraft league in like the twelve thirteen round, I I'm very excited about Justice hill.

"Now, if you have to coverage inside linebackers, you're much more multiple in a much more voshel defense, and you can do more pattern matching with wide receivers with your inside linebackers with tight ends. You can match it up better. It'll be interesting. And I think a lot of pressure also be on Kevin Colbert because Kevin Colbert will have to coverage inside linebackers to give him possibly the flexibility do more things. And maybe even do what he wants to do or he's wanted to do all along. So I think a lot of pressure will be on Kevin Colbert as well. Kevin Keith Butler is that here referring say. Kevin Kevin covert Keith Butler over guy the players now. Well, and we didn't we said this for the dollar defense. They're going to be able to run that now everyone if barren lives up to what he's being portrayed as and Bush lives even a little bit up to the hype. Then I think that they can run that dollar defense with the what is it seven defensive acts on the field. Yes. Seventy Bs the okay, we'll see how that pans out. Let's go to the next round. They didn't have around to pick their first pick in the third round was wide receiver from Toledo Deontay Johnson. What are your expectations for the? He's really speedy. He's just a quick little guy. Deontay johnson. What are your expectations? What are the fans expectations? Actually, the fans expect him to be. A not a central piece, but a guy that contributes what? What? We lost lands. Oh my gosh. Right in the middle of his sentence. He was getting ready to talk about where he feels Deontay Johnson falls will hopefully get him back on here. The Johnson is watch more game film of him..
