The National Football League Major League Baseball now trying to figure out how to deal with the latest tweets from President. Donald trump was a day ago. that he questioned the validity. Validity of the bubble Wallace story, and wanted a Bubba Wallace to apologize for the NASCAR hoax of the noose in his garage, saying that that in the flag situation benning the confederate flag resulted in low ratings for NASCAR. He went on to talk about how the Indians and redskins nicknames, which were initially made to show strength should stay nicknames. He went onto reference. Elizabeth Warren and you know and we're off to the races. Doug with this last these tweets, the last twenty four hours, or so when you and I talked about this yesterday, we said listen, the best thing to do is to ignore this and just move on because the NFL if they could do it over again from two thousand seventeen. They certainly would say you know what we're not going to just start. Start getting scattered because president trump is tweeting about kneeling football players and Colin Kaepernick. The best thing to do would be to ignore it, because as we said look, there's political stuff, and this is something that you can't win and notice that the difference in the responses so far. Is that when this happened? Redskins, the NFL really no one really said think. We've done this before. We've been through this Roger. And? We talked about saying hey, be ahead of things and just move on, because you can't win this battle that that's going to go on. If you continue to engage this. Yeah, I look I. Don't think you have to go four on frontal assault I would guess at the NFL stance changed. One. They didn't WanNA. "Here tonight. Then have final time down the back straightaway. The point Yoda into the banking three or four headed for the checkered flag in the southern five hundred eight. Hamlin complaints the Darlington sweetness again. Winning last night of the nation live race tonight winning with co time southern five hundred for the first time in his career now back to Mike Bagley. That's how it sounded on May Eighth. Two thousand ten some ten years ago. Denny. Hamlin winning at Darlington raceway. We welcome you back to NASCAR live. And we continue our conversation with the driver of the Fedex Toyota Denny Hamlin Denny. Let's get into the nuts and bolts Darlington this weekend. It's going to be a little different this time through. It's not going to be five hundred miles. Going four hundred miles on Sunday stage breaks or different. It's going to be a go in raising. Come back out on the same day. What are your. What are your thoughts about Nascar coming back to racing at Darlington this weekend? Yeah I mean one thing I can tell you you know. The southern five hundred by the hours is probably one of the longest races that we have It might be the longest even over the COQ. Six hundred if I'm not mistaken simply because of the miles per hour that we run versus the actual miles so four hundred is nothing to another week at. It's GonNa be a tough race. Especially during the day. I remember racing Southern five hundred During the day early my career and it was a very very tough race and so A day race in South Carolina. It looks like the weather's GonNa be pretty warm It's GonNa be a tough physical task for us to just fire off and go so You know there's going to be a lot of challenges. I think that you know me. Having some have the old guy knowledge of knowing where to track changes from dates tonight I'll be able to give my crew chief and good information about the what we need to work on and You know hopefully it all turns out. Well it's definitely been one of my best racetracks throughout my career. It has. You've got seven wins. They're five in the xfinity series two in the Cup series. Why is it one of your best tracks I don't know it's just one of those tracks that really fit my style of the easy corner. Injury hard on corner access It's just one of those tracks that really does reward that so Not sure exactly what it all is. That I feel like I definitely have a good knack for it and it just seems to work. Is it consistent? I know the tracks been paid. It took a while while not that long but it took a while to get to get worn back out again. It's back in that in that worn out. State is Darlington the same every time you go about the expectation of tire fall off and the track changing all that or are there new things that are different about it? Every time you go back a little bit I feel like it. Changes like eight man probably five percent. Every time we go there What for whatever. Reason that the pavement Whatever they use their It gets washed pretty quickly. The Sun down there it gets a lot of Sun And so there's just attractive very very difficult to predict you know. I don't think you can just go back with what you had last year and you just are going to be good. I don't think that that's the case I think he'd got Daf and Like I said I. That's that's why I like going to new places I feel like I can adapt quicker than others and You know I enjoy the challenge of firing off. No practice qualifying. You'RE GONNA have to really trust your instincts on this woman and hopefully you think right. You Trust instincts hauling off into turn one at Darlington Wide Open. No practice no qualifying. That's going to be the old tiptoe through the tulips her right there. I imagine for the first couple laps. Yeah you know. I think that there's GonNa be a handful that are going to be very aggressive at the beginning and I think there's others that are going to be kind feeling things out and seeing how will play out I think to the races long enough to where You know you can take it easy to understand your race card. Give for mission to that. I fit stuff for even second to adjust your car and get it where it needs to be and listen. No one's going to get someone is GonNa unload closer than the other and that car. If he's up towards the front it could be ugly early but certainly these guys starts to figure things out as racist. Go on and you're probably going to see a pretty competitive race in couple of things here before we let you go. You get done Sunday at Darlington. The experiment series will race there on Tuesday. You'll be back on Wednesday. We've had a couple of Primetime Cup races before. Like five hundred have gotten rain down and carry it over but this is our first foray into a full cup race under the lights mid week. What are your thoughts on midweek racing? Yeah I love it. I've been pushing for a very long time and I know that there's I talked about red tape. There's plenty of red tape that keeps midweek races from happening and a lot of that surrounds racetracks and the camping that they have The audience that the people in the crowd since we don't have that that makes perfect opportunity for us to run midweek races People don't have to travel and they have you know jobs working in the week. They have you know. Most of the people travel Outside of a hundred miles or whatnot. So this allows us to to experiment with that and see how the ratings go and How many people were tuning in to watch it and certainly think that this is an opportunity for us to to you know have a lot of it is on us and and people are going to be watching to see how it all turns out and one more thing when you do go back on the Racetrack? Sunday and Wednesday than the following week at Charlotte. You'll be racing against Ryan. Newman and Matt Kenseth is coming back. What are your thoughts on those to be being on the track when you guys take green on Sunday? Yeah we turn back the clock though fifteen years. It's I mean me and mad had some funny dialogue going on yesterday and You know Kinda looking about what we were talking about. But you know he's like hey you know. Let Me Know GonNa foreigners I'm telling them to pound sand you know 'cause not like I want to help him by the way so he he's just been a great friend that we communicated You know we started talking about a year before. He became teammates with a A jerky racing and then even when he When he left We talk a lot and I went over his house quite a bit and federal kids. Hang out together so got a great relationship with Matt and Yeah I don't ask me in an interview a few days ago. What do you think about? You know you happy. See Matt Basketball Track. I'm like no like you can still get it done. I don't want another congested out there that can potentially beat me. So I know that he's every organization he's been in he's elevated it and I would expect the same thing with shipping. Asti with him so But I do look forward to to raise for Buddy for sure. Well we appreciate your time. Thank you for the entertainment over the last seven weeks..

"And you won't stink now back to Mike Bagley. We're back on NASCAR. Live if you've been with us over the last seven weeks or so you know that. A lot of the NASCAR drivers have been participating in the NASCAR. I racing pro invitational series and it ended just as it began then he on one the first one at homestead speedway and he won this past weekend at virtual North Wilkes Boroughs speedway. And he's on NASCAR. Talk about Danny. Welcome back to the show how we doing. So you're a winner at North Wilkes borough. I would say that's gotta mean something. You look great on Sunday man. That was awesome. Yeah we were fast. You know something about that racetrack. And that's just Kinda fit my style and I love the short-track Anyway. Everyone knows that But you know going to. I really enjoy going to somewhere new. I feel like I can adapt to track. You know quicker than than normal And especially being a short-track it just kinda fit. You know my style and the way that I drive and Yeah we're we're fast from the get-go how did you? How are you able to do that? You always say that when you go to places you take to it pretty quick. What about your driving skill set allows that to happen? You know I on on the short tracks especially I think. It's using the gas in the break. I think you know. Sometimes you know together Just foot work I think is what makes it You know better for me. And my style particular That's the only thing I can really attest to it. I mean other than just instincts right. So it's a shame. I never got the race that Trask In real life I think I was about seven years. Too late for that but I remember seeing all races back there back in the day and I remember was fun racetrack to watch on TV So when I ran my first you last year of I cannot believe the elevation change. That frustrates has like. This is a never didn't you don't appreciate it on. Tv as much so Certainly with the blast drive. I thought it was one of the best racers that we've had off season. Well you talk about Sunday North Wilkes borough. We've been doing this for seven weeks. Obviously race fans chomping at the bit. As are you me and everybody else in the sport to get back to real racing which will do and we'll talk about it in a moment at Darlington but what role. In your opinion you've been one of the participants. What role has the NASCAR RACING? Pro Invitational Series played. How's that helped? A lot of people get through pretty dark time in pretty uncertain time. We've got right now in the sport. Well I think it certainly helped with fosters. That are you know. We're counting being on on on your weekend week out Because they're sponsoring the real car. Got Them an opportunity to still be on. Tv and still have the opportunity to showcase their brand Advertised that was a huge help for the race teams to kind of give them You know that kind of pro Bono and not and not really charging anyone for anything and it was really good collective Effort from everyone involved between NASCAR and the drivers of the race teams and the sponsors so it all came together. You know typically something that is that day with that big of an audience. There's a lot of lawyers talk and and wording that that people gotta find off on but everyone just knew that listen. We're in a difficult situation right now. Let's just get past the red tape and get this done and we were able to do it. Pretty quickly Through your head racing right from the get go and You know it was great racing and hopefully kept people entertained from what we're hearing what we're seeing on social media and folks reaching out to us. People have been entertained and the very appreciative of it. Before we get into this weekend's logistics and all that how things been like in the in the Hamlin House I know that at times you've had to corral remote controls and everything seems like that you're doing good seems like the families looking good. How is this past seven weeks or so been treating the hamlet house? It's been good. I mean I personally have just been didn't projects done of of Definitely in the best physical shape I've ever been in. There's nothing to do but to to work out at least twice a day and just for me. I am in great physical shape. I feel like You know it's been a very big learning experience being a A bad teacher. I have a new appreciation for all the teachers out there. That are teaching these kids and You know we got about one more week of that. Thank goodness And then on top of that just I mean I. I tried to get myself off. You know not a small and not a major but just a a very decent sized project wants a day get done. There's something let's let's get this done. I've been putting it off for this amount of time. Let's just get it done. Ray felt and trying to put that on the calendar and I feel like I'm I'm pretty much ready. I'm all caught up here. There's not much else to do other than things. I'm trying to create do and I'm ready to go back to work. You talk about staying in physical shape and and you are in good physical shape for for those folks out there. That are curious. What do you do to maintain good physical fitness normally? And what have you had to do in this downtime to maintain that to make sure that you're in good physical condition? Well fortunately for me and I mean very fortunate that I have you know home that I can work out in There's a basketball court downstairs that I can run up and down Doing suicides and things like baths which is Kinda. You know for the first time doing a lot of online You know training sessions and so I it really holds you accountable when you see other people working out. And you don't WanNa be the one that sits there and is got his hands on his hips and stuff and they're like okay ten more seconds than you see everyone else working out. So it's been it's been a different transition but I really been buckled down on my eating. Been tremendously better. over this time so it can be opposite of what you think would be right. Everyone's kind of at home and and it's really easy to Kinda just lay around and not get stuff done but I really been disciplined on. You know the physical side of things and making sure that I'm in good shape when we're ready to go because there's just not going to be much time We used to have a week to to recover between races. And we're just not going to have that time now. What is set? Good physical fitness gave you inside of the race car. Some folks may say well look at him. He's just sitting there. He's driving five hundred miles. It gets out and then goes home but there is. There are dividends that are paid for the physical fitness and the physical health. That you're in. What is that so folks can understand how that benefits you well? A lot of it has to do with the G. Forces and Darlington's one of the toughest racetrack that we have as far as physical fitness concern Because you know there are a lot of Jesus especially in terms one and two so it really honestly for me about you know it used to take me four or five days when I was not in very good shape to recover from races on Sunday. I've spent most of the time. Tuesday's just kind of laying around trying to recover and get myself back going again and then certain Wednesday. Thursday are getting a little more active. But we don't have that time now so I think what this does is creates a shorter recovery time There's a lot of you know neck muscles back muscles that really get strained. Does you're trying to hold yourself up in the seat In in the stronger you are physically in those areas that the less you know the less impact that that is going to have on. You've therefore you won't need to recover quite as much because you're not fatigued as much so doing that. And I think you're staying hydrated is going to be a big big factor With these short layoff in between you know the the Wednesday Sunday races So I'm GonNa try to stay on top of that and Seattle plays out. We've got more coming up with Denny Hamlin as we continue on NASCAR live in.

"We welcome you back and ask our live. We're so glad you're with us here on the motor racing network and we're so glad that our next guest is with us as well. We're talking about chip Ganassi racing driver. Kurt Busch who's in the House Kurt. Welcome back to Nascar live how we doing. Hey guys I'm doing good not quite in the house. I'm at my house. You know I'm with you guys and we're glad that you are tell you what we are in. Devon and some uncertain times right. Now it's like we don't know how to act we can't get to the race track and everything is in a state of flux all across the country what about what about with you and the and the family how you guys make an ad during the during the situation here. Yeah we are definitely. It's among uncharted waters. And the territory for everybody is new and for my family With Ashley Myself Down. In in south Florida My brother is up in North Carolina. My parents are in North Carolina about half hour from where he is My employees that Kurt Busch incorporate or all hunkered down. And we're all just trying to respect the process. I think that's the easiest way to approach all this. It is and it seems like that. The process changes by the day. We'll get into more of that in a moment. I'm curious though. There are those of us that went to Atlanta Motor speedway Couple of weekends ago there and seems like things were changing on the fly there as well. How did you get the message that we were not going to be racing at Atlanta? And where were you when you got that message So after the Phoenix Race I stayed in Phoenix for some spring training baseball. Who would have known that was going to be the last time we'd see baseball for a while racing for that matter and so I flew into Atlanta and when I drove to the track on Thursday night. It was an eerie feeling. Like wait a minute where are fans whereas all the motorhomes whereas all the energy it everything's felt deflated? And then I had mentally focused on okay. They're going forward with practices and race. I've got to give my best. I have to be the leader of the number one monster Energy Chevy team for Gassy. And that's again the next morning things just didn't feel right and I got the call from a Pr Guy Literally about an hour before we were gonNA prep for practice. Everything had been postponed and I think that was the right decision From there I just drove from the racetrack in Atlanta. Down South Florida. I just said Heck with it. I need some time to think and compress and you know when I got home. I was just trying to prep my wife and family members for everybody to go. Hey this is gonna be a while. That was going to be a weird weekend and I think you said it right. It's like you know when we go to the racetrack. We're so accustomed to seeing race fans and we were prepared to go without them. But that was the weird thing. And I I know how we as broadcasters taking a race you get the fans there. They add an element of excitement but one about being one of the competitors. What was what did that feel like knowing that you are about to perform in front of an empty house. Our fans are the sole of NASCAR They're they're the ones that that give us that energy to go perform and to put it on the high side sideways burning up right rear tire owned for the wind and the loyalty that they've always shown us with buying our sponsors products and being there for autographs in the garage area. You know driver Intros It's part of the whole atmosphere. And that's that's where it just didn't feel right and I'm like you know. We don't need to be racing unless we have our fans in the stands that that's my first impression with it all Then we've got to figure out what to do now as we move forward with TV and everything else. That's part and radio. That's that's part of our whole production and I know that we don't know what's next. We are on the preliminary plan of trying to return to racing at Martinsville and that leaves a lot of racing to be made up. I'm just curious. We're just spitballing. Here what would you like to see? Let's say we go back at Martinsville. We start racing again at Martinsville speedway. But we've got these seven races that need to be made up if NASCAR came to you and ask you for your your council and your advice. What would you be open to? As far as trying to make up those races Everything is is so difficult to predict and to understand and again it gets back to respecting the process. I really don't know what what to expect. Or how things will progress from where we stand today I if I just had one quick thought it would be any track with with lights. We can run during the weekday and we tried to like Steve Phelps. The president of NASCAR said the other day Keep our playoff intact and run those ten weeks out In a normal sequence. But we're still very very early and all the processes of of how we can make decisions and so all of it's speculation right now. You're exactly right and I know that there's a Lotta race bands that are anxious to get back to the race track and we're going to have to go through this process that we don't know how long that process is going to be. We were talking with some fans the other day. And you know everybody's got suggestions and all that you just mentioned midweek racing. This is something that we obviously haven't done in the Cup series. We've done it in in trucks and and all that with racing in eldora. What do you think about? Perhaps maybe whenever we get back to racing that that all things are on the table. We've been TOLD THAT BY STEVE PHELPS. This could potentially be an opportunity to maybe look at doing some things differently going forward out of necessity obviously in this case but there may be the next great thing there for this sport that will discover in a time of challenge. Like we're going through right now. Yeah I think everything is is going to be on the table and everybody needs to smile and take a deep breath and know that and we're GONNA have to adjust on the fly and no matter what it is and you know. I just read today. The twenty four hours and Lama. That's supposed to race in June has been now. Move to September bats That's a huge race around the world. I think there's GonNa be a lot of dominoes. That will fall around. This is just me now. This is Smith speculating. I'm not I don't need to be quoted or tossed around and this is what each side but Indianapolis. And what the Indy. Five hundred is going to do. Roger Penske and his group. They have a big decision to make. Because I see them as is the biggest kingpin of all motor sport. And so we'll see how things progress but everything has to be adjusted here and there and some of twenty twenty if finishes by November might have to go into twenty twenty one but we've all talked about weekday races shorter races. Maybe even doubling up. You know like poconos doing this year. Twenty twenty now probably going to be a hybrid of using some of these races and these scenarios to see what works best for twenty twenty one in the future. I agree right and we will reaffirm to the listeners. That this is just spitballing. Some thoughts that we're throwing out. Nothing is official. Of course we got word from Steve Phelps. The other day what the intent of what the goal is. But we're all in just that wait and see situation more coming up with Kurt Busch here on Nascar life.

"Live now back to what he came Baker. Hang out with us this week on Nascar live over the weekend. Alex Hayden sat down with Brendan Gone to talk about his town of Las Vegas and its ties to Nascar as Las Vegas resident and businessman more importantly in the city of Las Vegas. What does it mean to to you as a businessman and a resident to see what NASCAR's become in the city of Las Vegas? The look when when Ralph Ingalls Stat the late roughing Staten Richie Klein when they talked. My Dad was there early on when they were talking about it and and they talked about taking this piece of dirt where we raced off road cars. And they're going to build this big thing and we're talking ninety five ninety six these meetings going on. It's like really. We're starting to get bigger but it wasn't you know you didn't think about it being in Vegas and Professional Sports in Vegas. Everybody Kinda went at the time. Sporting wasn't really the big thing as far as the biggest entertainment in the world so they bought into it and even they all said you know what let's do it and if they built a beautiful race track. F- years later Putin Smith buys it puts that beautiful garage in their makes this an entertainment race where they've got showgirls and live bands and the infield and it was a big deal and my dad early on realize what it was the biggest sporting event in vegas like the biggest event we had as a town. It was huge. And we've been trying to fight and scratch and for a second date and we got a second date and if there's a place they can do it it's Vegas so for me the Las Vegas businessman and local. We've bought into this thing years ago. Alex we love the Racing Nascar fans in Vegas loved the racing. Look how many race car drivers are from Las Vegas? You know okay I suck. I mean I never became anything really great. But you've got Kyle Busch Kurt Busch. You've got no Gregson coming up. You have the allegiant airlines racing team which had spencer racing for a while and now. Spencer runs their program but they've own their own race team. They're Vegas residents you've got Riley herbs coming up now no Gregson coming up. Now you got superstars from the future being groomed vegas hotbed. There's you realize there is not any other town in America. That has as many champions in Nascar Stars Than Las Vegas us. He says Spencer and Their Race Team that Spencer Gallagher G. M. S. Racing's what he's referring to okay but but Las Vegas a lot of people have visited Las Vegas whether it's for a convention whether just a little vacation people don't realize that is a booming place for people to live. This is a big place which now I think the sports world beginning to embrace that you mentioned this the second date. Nascar race there. We've got the raiders town. Obviously the National Hockey League Zehr Professional Baseball's or not major league maybe yet but professional baseball is there the professional bull riders. Are there everything that is top notch? Sports is now going to vegas as town. That knows how to follow trends in the one thousand nine hundred. Vegas wasn't adult playground right. You had all the shows on the Strip. Were were topless reviews and very adult oriented in the nineties. It became more kid friendly place and the town went kid-friendly we built the MGM was built and they built an amusement park with circus circus. Adventure Dome Roller coasters. And all these things and then vegas went back to being a little more. Not Quite as adult as it was in the seventies and eighties. But more you know what the kids stuff didn't make us as much money. Let's go back to what made us money. And we went after Broadway plays and big time. Production shows with the cirque shows and everything. Now what is the biggest form of entertainment in the world? Sports Sports is the biggest business. So Vegas doesn't drop those trends. We suckered the raiders into coming to Las Vegas. We built an arena on personally one of the worst pieces you could ask for but they built an NFL stadium. Right in the dead center of the resort corridor and now we have this beautiful facility. That's going to have the football team there. That's going to have. We're going to have the super bowl one day. We're going to have even bigger concerts than we already. Have Vegas rides trends? They just move. The you said professional baseball there. The Las Vegas fifty ones. The fifty one's invented a stadium. That's been there since nineteen Ho. God there was like nineteen seventy nine eighty two or something that's been a you know a AAA ballclub forever. They built the Hughes. Exact corporations built a core GIS May. It's not a major league baseball saying but it's one of the top three stadiums in AAA baseball up in Summerlin Nevada. Because sports is too big now and they're selling out AAA games. Nhl came. Oh my God you never thought it would work now. Nhl Nfl's there you talk about. Maybe Major League baseball coming. I think the biggest driver now though is when we grew up Alex. And you've been around the sport with mealtime. Yeah saying the word gambling almost got. You tackled and Hog tied and put a gag ball in your mouth. Don't say that word now. We Talk I I. I just got done doing the gone racing show. It's a betting show on Sundays. Me and people stony have the fancy racing show Vegas embraced it now. The world is embracing it and Keely for us. Nascar has embraced it. And that's a huge thing for sport. Brendan gone joining us here. You mentioned the moneymaking. You bring up the gambling. Obviously gambling is synonymous with Las Vegas and whether people wanted to talk about it or not. It was taboo. I think that quite a bit gambling is now what it is and people can say what they want but fantasy racing is a form of gambling. Listen when they asked me if I wanted to do a fantasy racing show on Sirius? Xm Yeah just gambling NASCAR and that and they go. No it's fantasy and I go. Yeah it's gambling NASCAR like nobody's fantasy. I'm like yeah I got it I can do it the world though we grew up in a world there were twenty years ago. I almost lost a ride because somebody even mentioned the fact about my family's history that was like I couldn't even talk about it now. We have the studio the Vegas Data and information network is a glass box in the middle of our Casino and Sports Book that beautiful. It's unheard of Alex. Like now other places are doing it now. They're jumping in it. Everybody's doing it nascar embrace this early. When when NASCAR came they were the first professional sport other than boxing to come to Las Vegas and Nascar said you know what that's fine? Put Bets up on your board way. We're worried about the team staying in casinos and doing it. They they never. They knew that our sport didn't have to worry about that stuff so they've they've embraced it now even more so. Kansas has a casino out of turn to right on the facility. Nascar just now. It's a huge pen. Gaming of last year they announced the deal and I can't remember which bet betting site they didn't Nascar's coming out with their own in game fantasy betting APP so you can bet during the race change when the stages end. Nascar is the sport that has the biggest upside from the betting standpoint football. It's been happening forever it's saturated yeah. It'll gain more more places that are legal. It'll gain more that you'll see more legally bet but it's already been illegally bet for decades. Nascar now is going to have the biggest uptick because now as fans go wait. Wait wait. I can bet. And they're going to be heart betters. Which is the Best I love Kyle? Larson I'm going to bet on. Kyle Larson you know. This is GonNa be people that just bet with their hearts and it's going to be awesome and as a businessman businessman. That's a good thing. Well we let our hearts because normally the heart doesn't do as well as the head but the main thing is it's available now and the ways it's available we've come up with ways to make racing fun to bet group matchups. Were you pick for people? You don't have to win the race. Now you're picking a race. It's a forty man horse race. It's really hard to pick a winner but you can do top three. You can do group match ups. You can do head to head matchups. You've made it where now in the old days if it's a boring race man you're watching the guy lead by thirty seconds like. Oh this sucks. Guess what now go to sixteenth and seventeenth. And I'M GONNA show you Chris. Buscher Austin Dillon. Ty Dillon and and Almost at Elliott Sadler and Tyler rettig their group F. That's the big money for somebody. Somebody has five hundred bucks on a plus two eighty on tyler radic to win that group and there's five to go. You can have drama in sixteenth place. It makes television. Go better makes eyeballs WANNA watch longer and in the end. What does that do mean? Sponsors want to be here it brings us all up. The rising tide floats every boat. Hire Well said also you Mitch in Las Vegas as a city keeps up with the trends. All Right South Point Hotel Casino. It's great to keep up but you also want to be a leader. What are you guys doing to try to separate yourself and be the leaders in these trends? We were the first ones to put a television studio insider casino. We've we when the laws started changing. We got really lucky. That I'm a guy that you might have heard of once or twice some guy named Brent Musburger via small-time Guy Brent musburger built the visa network and he wanted to do it in the south point and he got a typical Michael. Gone deal a lifetime lease for one dollars a year and okay It's it's a typical. It's a great Michael. Gone that great businessman that he is give it away and and look but it started it started a phenomenon in Las Vegas and in the country that now we can talk about these things. They're a twenty four seven network. Now that talks all day. Long Sports. Betting doesn't matter what it is NASCAR included. That's one of the biggest things. And then we also were were the only Rena with the world's largest or country's largest indoor equestrian center so we just we have our niche. We work well in our niche and my father as much as I'd love it hates pains me to say it but when you're lucky so many times in a row you kind of have to start saying you might be good. I think Michael God's got a career in this he does I think Brennan Gone has occurs. Well speaking of career you're driving career. You've said twenty twenty will be your last year as a racecar. When he's seventeen was my last year. Ten Twenty Twenty S my last year of being just having fun and going on vacation. So what's next for Brendon? Got Obviously based off everything. You said you're going to still have a footprint in the sport of NASCAR racing may be just a different realm. Well I just. I'm not going to come and play in the NASCAR world anymore. I've had a great career. If you told me in nineteen ninety-seven that I've even been have half the career I had. I'd be honored so look busy already. Got City Light. Shine my moonshine company. That old NASCAR official. Mike Dolan is my distiller. We're out there and it started to do well. I got a cleaning company. I have two casinos in in Mesquite Nevada that I run for my family so I am busy enough as it is and then I have two children and we are starting to. Bmx big time and it's time for their area there era for me to start doing it with them. But I'll always be driving I race mile road stuff. I won the Baja thousand last year. Which for our family is is big to us as the Daytona five hundred. Everybody around here and I might go if I can lose some weight. Yes I need to lose some weight. Go figure I said that on there. I'm okay with it I'd love to get back. Maybe some sports cars have two bucket list races that I still WanNa get to. And they are Paris to car which I was almost pulled the trigger on this year but I will make sure most likely and and so I wanna do those two still got lucile. Wait to get to the mall. What's the magic number weight? Wise that you need to lose. I can lose about if I can get back to about two. Oh five two hundred. I'd be happy you can do that. Oh I I can do it. The question is how much effort I'm going to put into it. You know as you get older. It wasn't as easy when I was twenty five to lose twenty pounds so now it's going to take a little more effort brandon all the best. Thanks for so much and look forward to to what's next for you. Brinton gone always appreciate it. Mr Haden Sir. That's Brendan Gone and Alex. Hayden on the way next forty eight stories with Jimmy Johnson. And later we'll take you back to this week. "Of NASCAR live. You know earlier Jimmy. Johnson said this would be his last full time season in the NASCAR Cup series and I had a chance to go face to face with a seven time champ. Now the checkered flag is coming out. It is all over and Jimmy Johnson for the eleventh time in his career has picked up the win here at Dover Jimmy Heading into twenty twenty year last season and I kind of have the sense that this wasn't like a light switch epiphany tight moment when you said twenty twenty. It's going to be in it. Was it more like a dimmer switch where it was eventually just bright enough to where he said. Okay yes and no. I very intentional with the things that I do. I spend a Lotta time literally writing pros and cons and just trying to make logical decision and I kind of got to technical with it in had time still on my side from Rick and ally all of our partners truthfully like a feeling show and in that can enforce in October timeframe. It was crazy to me that once that feeling showed up by new and it was time to go. I could have waited till you started the year of some other different points in time but once once I knew ricky gave me the advice when I went to his house to let them know. Like you're not GonNa want to sit on this phone we're GONNA have to move quickly and Here we got through the end of the year the last race Miami and decided to To send out that video announcement that we did. And since that moment and the announcement and the decision. I've had nothing but more clarity on its infield so good about the decision I made you know. It's it's retirement from fulltime NASCAR racing. It doesn't mean that I've done racing and put everything possibly can into this year and to be as competitive as I can be hopefully winning races.

"So what's poll question? We're going to go with and we'll get to Denny Hamlin. I would put up to be honest if I was in opposing. Pitcher would I throw at the Astros because I think the audience feels differently than you? I think they would okay. We'll try that. We'll see once again. Ryan Newman is in stable condition. Still in the hospital not life threatening injuries in that final lap at Daytona Denny Hamlin won his third Daytona and he joins us on the program. Denny congratulations take me through the last two laps of yesterday the Eh just For me is kind of crazy but We were you know obviously leading Coming to to go and then we I'm trying my best to stay in front of those guys but I knew that you know I had seven four. I think lined up behind us and You were the only turtle at that point and I knew that there be coming with run so Also turn to I. He told me that the The guys who are to Ryan both Ryan to were to link back and I knew at that point I was probably too far heads So kinda relinquish to spot. I didn't want to try to throw block and ended up. Getting US crashed on the backstretch. So those guys got beside me and they got past the and I lived up on the back bumper of of of Blaney and I made my best. Shot was kind of pushed him towards the lead. And just Kinda see what happens and and those guys had down hit you know came off turn four went towards the yellow line You know I I knew that there was gonna be contact so I tried to stay as far right as I could Away from them but I saw Ryan Newman's car turn bright right in front of me and Soon as that happened I saw his car and I went down inside drafted him and got that lounge right at the start. Finish line just Enough to win it all again. Felt like you had to go to third to get back to I. Yeah I mean. I thought that you know I had an opportunity to stay next to Ryan down the backstretch but Blaney but I knew that if we were going to be solved by side and then the race is over for me so my best option really was to Kinda push him back towards the lead And then hopefully either they get together or I can go three wide At the start. Finish line so I knew my best opportunity. Checkup turned three get two planes back bumper and pushed him towards them. When did you realize you'd one? Yeah right when I crossed the line. I mean I've been in a photo. Finish there in two thousand sixteen. Which is the closest finish in history? And I think this one was now the second So I'd been in that position before and I knew that I was. I was just far enough ahead To beat them but I it's crazy because you know it's just a one hundred or under yards before the start. Finish LINE WE WERE. You know about third place and We just Somehow made it up up there and won the race and you know it was very unexpected especially after that you know going out of action upon life when I go back to third I I just felt that the race is over but we just kept digging. When did you realize something was up? Serious serious nature with Ryan Newman. Yeah I mean I didn't know anything until I got in Victory Lane Not until You know when they called off the interview at the start finish line they I knew that something was up at that point So driven to Victory Lane and they said you know You know there's a series injured with Ryan. I haven't seen it yet so I saw the camera person there and then they had the monitor And they were replaying it and I watched it back then. I was like wow. This is definitely serious and so It was a bit of a quiet victory lane. I guess you could say there wasn't you know 'cause there was a lot of speculation questions that people didn't know and but luckily we've got some better news later on that evening but I thought that the your owner Joe Gibbs and you both handled it I mean you guys knew. There was something serious even when he got out of the car. You're basically saying. Hey you know what we one. I'm happy but you know I don't know what just happened to this driver. And even with Joe Gibbs saying basically the same thing like it was a muted celebration by your team. Yeah I mean I mean it has to be right I mean you think about you know. Someone's well being or someone tell is obviously way more important than any sporting events you could. You could win. You know. We're out there for entertainment purposes right. I mean You know Iran's got two two daughters and I've got two daughters myself and so You definitely can relate and and you definitely think about your them in their family during that time and just from my perspective on we still haven't celebrated you know it's still this is GonNa take you know time to kind of Think about and reflect on and in the next few weeks. I don't think people understand the magnitude of that track though Danny because the feeling I got reading some social media is how are you celebrating with Iraq? You're probably a mile and a half away from where Ryan Newman's car is I. Guess get give people a perspective of where Victory Lane is with. Where Ryan's car was. Yeah even the start finish on. They were off towards Kind of the twin finish line intern one. And you know I'll be honest with you. There's there's wrecks at the end of these races nearly every single time. So there's this definitely not out of the ordinary But simply when when we went to the finish line and they the the TV personality came up and said that no interview. Here I don't something was And then who went to Victory Lane and Nascar official came in and talked to be real quick That's when I knew that like pay. actually told the guys like stop. Don't anymore more gatorade in That he's seriously hurt and everyone at that point. Just kind of settled down so You know it's just it's so far away and like I said it's track is two and a half miles in length so Yeah you can be What you would think is close proximity. And you're you're a mile away. If I would've told you ten years ago you'd have three Daytona five hundred's what would you have said What am I going to start winning? It's it's crazy. I mean to have the rugby been on the last five years to three of them. It's been incredible and we've just You know definitely feel like I've gotten better at those types of a racist. They are different than than what we run on on a weekly basis but You know we've just Kinda got an fort and it's it things have. The results have showed all the work that we put into it so One of several different ways like I said Neil part of the two closest finishes in history but I tell you it's It's an amazing one that we're on right now. You know what strange though when I'm watching this in real time and I I see the crack. We're so used to you guys just getting out of a car member. Clint Boyer with what happened to him. And then he cars on fire he puts his gets out and takes gloves a couple of years ago and just throw them in the car. Like we're just so used to you guys being indestructible with these cars with the tracks with the walls here and I think that was what was shocking. You just kept going late. He's not getting out he's got to get out. And then then the then the serious nature really set in. Yeah absolutely I mean I. It's it's it's something that sometimes we do take for granted Because the cars have and all the equipment that we that we wear has the innovations and safety advancements have come so far but you forget that we are going to hundred miles an hour and and in time a car can turn up on. Its roof like that. That's an opportunity for another car to drive right into it. That's kind of what happens. So it was definitely a worst case scenario You know that's probably the the weakest part of the car. The most exposed is right there through the roof or or Through the driver started winning it but You know luckily we got you know like I say that you know much better and encouraging news That we think it's going to be OK. Well congrats denny. I know that that will get lost in it. And Obviously Ryan's health is paramount here but I thought you and coach Gibbs and your team handled it extremely well well appreciate it man. Thank you yep thanks Denny Hamlin winner of the Daytona five hundred once again. Ryan Newman non-life-threatening injuries but Still listed in serious but stable condition in the hospital. You know when they got to the point where they weren't showing the car they were interviewing drivers and then I couldn't help but think back to Dale earnhardt because after a while those on the scene New Dale was dead and they bring out the black tar and once you bring out the black tarp. That's where you're trying to protect everybody watching of what's going to happen when you take the driver out of the car and I just I. I couldn't help think of Dale Junior. Was there I just so many emotions that went through? I in a span of about ten minutes. Yes he so the car that hit Newman is Ryan Blaney Yeah. No no no the one who him after the flip the no the one that tapped him that caused them to flip out correct. That's the one that I'm referring to the one. That again. The second sort of hit. He and Blair locked up and then they they knew and went up into the wall. That's just part of racing. I'm GonNa Guess it is especially on the last lap that that that's what you're trying to win. Yeah and you know I thought it was interesting to Denny. Hamlin said There's I knew there was seven dodge behind me and know toyotas so that so he's just saying he knew that he had no teammates. Everybody was trying to beat him. They're gonNA work with Ford was all that was a collaborative effort. There of you. Were trying to get somebody on your team to win right. It's a collaborative effort until the last ten seconds of the race when Blaney Newman. One of them is going to go past the other one and they got a little loose together but then they the second hit was the one that really damaged his car because he goes airborne. The top of the car in the driver side got hit full blast. And that's where his car really got damaged inside and then you started to see the gas leak out and then you saw the fire there in it felt like an..

"Patrick show glad to have you onboard. Dominique Wilkins will stop. By what advice would he give Aaron Gordon after losing yet another slam dunk contest? Neak loss to Michael Jordan and he also lost spud. Webb is teammate. Dave Roberts. The dodgers manager certainly Some of his players have had some things to say about the Astros. We'll talk to the manager on. How do you use this as motivation this year? And at what point does the manager say to his players enough? Let's move ahead to twenty twenty denny. Hamlin won the Daytona five hundred yesterday. He'll join us in. About fifteen minutes. We'll talk about those That last lap and Ryan Newman Ryan Newman. Right now is In stable condition not life threatening injuries there but We'll keep an eye on that but we'll talk to Denny Hamlin about that final lap as he ended up winning the race and the thrill in the agony of racing was certainly on full display at the Daytona five hundred yesterday. Hamlin one in a photo finish as he beat Ryan Blaney but the victory quickly overshadowed by that terrible crash involving Ryan Newman on the final lap. For about two hours we didn't know of Newman was going to survive. Then Nascar announced that he was in serious condition but his injuries were non life-threatening. And of course I couldn't help but think back to Dale EARNHARDT's death same track. Two thousand one NASCAR is taken great strides to make drivers safer. The tracks safer but Monday is a stark reminder of just how dangerous this sports still is. It's not easy to feel what two hundred miles per hour is like unless you're there at the track two hundred miles the way. Tv sort of sanitize. It goes all now. That doesn't seem like it's that big a deal. Everybody's going two hundred miles an hour. That's why when you see you sane bolt run and then you see somebody else running you go. Oh so that's what it's like to be the fastest man in the world two hundred miles per hour when everybody else is going. Two hundred miles per hour doesn't seem that fast hopefully Ryan Newman makes a full recovery in Monday's race serves as a reminder. That what we're watching on the track is as serious as you can get in sports. Phone calls are always welcome. Eight seven seven three. Dp show email address deep. Dan Patrick DOT COM twitter handle. Dp show got some trigger. Meet Friday songs for you coming up play of the day stat of the day and it's mcmuffins duties to come up. I said duties a poll question for us today. Okay which way do you WANNA start? Go back to Astros. I know some people. But it's kind of fun. Joe Borough Your Friend. Lack in the news see now. I got my my home. Town's going to be mad at me again if I bring up what he said last night. I'm not the one saying it. Joe Borough is the one who said he has leverage. Okay you're the Messenger. I know but they always shoot the messenger right. What do you have for me mclovin? Let's our Joe Borough if you're jober would you rather be drafted by the bengals number one or fall below number one and go to another team? Now there's a chance that he could be traded out that too but would you rather go say number five. I think I'd rather be number one and traded. I'm not giving you that. Oh Okay I'll take that one off. You say. The bengals are not going to do that. I'd rather go to a better team because he boy. I'm going to go down this road here again. The money is kind of similar here in the top five. I want to go to a better team. Deshaun Watson went to a better team. Patrick Mahomes went to a better team. Aaron Rodgers went to a better team. There's something to be said about going to the right team because you can go to a bad team and you end up playing poorly because it's a bad team Joe. Borough was honored last night. Got The Davey O'Brien award and he was in Texas. And he was asked about the bengals and he said basically. Hey I'm I got a process. I got to go through a process. They have to go through. There's no process for Joe. Borough I mean he has. He has no choice. Here you show up for the draft. You don't have a process to go through here. The bengals might the bengals might go. Hey what do we do with this pick? Do we really want Joe Berle. What could we get for that? Pick Joe boroughs process is what unless it's using his leverage so. I keep back to that not because I want to Joe Borough keeps bringing me back to that. He's got a process and he says that he's got leverage. That's what I'll give you the exact quote here mclovin. You're starting this often. I didn't know it was going to start here. I'd like to know the question. Then he got but Joe says I do have leverage. He was This according to the Fort Worth star-telegram this was during a reception. The bengals have their process. I have my process. We haven't even gotten to the NFL combine yet. There's a lot of things that happened. Leading up to the draft and a lot of information gathered. Is he talking about him or the Bengals. Because what information can he get and how? What does that matter? If the bengals are still going to take him number one unless he finds out a team is interested in me. Hey I'd rather go to Carolina but the Bengals I understand. They're doing their due diligence. There there there you know working with their process of you know and even then are you sold on Jonesboro. I assume you are but if you're going to go through your process okay. Maybe there's a surprise in there but job rose the one keeping this you know in the headlines when you say I have leverage all I can think of is ally manning and John elway. They had leverage the apple. Jonesboro talked to a bunch of media outlets when he's down there at this reception they it's media time with them and they said Being the number one pick dream come true when the reporter asked a follow up asked if he wants to go to the city that curling holds all the top pick. Cincinnati said quote. I'd like to play football. Whoever takes me a ballplayer? I'M GONNA play? He was asked me like to go to Cincinnati. His answer was to play football. I mean you go back to what he said to us at the Super Bowl in we all immediately after he left we went. He just said something's GonNa make headlines here he he's keeping it open so therefore if you keep it open then everybody else is. GonNa keep it open. And when you use the word leverage at the number one pick how many guys have said who were going to be drafted number one to go. I got leverage just in recent memory. How many can you think of WHO said Yeah? I got leverage. I can't remember any of these guys. You know what you're going to make your already slotted there and all of a sudden he's saying he has leverage dancing. It's like you go into any good faith conversation. And some one side or the other uses the word leverage like okay so this isn't just like a good faith you know. This is a negotiation. Then it goes back to what I said about Jerry Jones with this silly. Tom Brady to the cowboys rumor. If anything it was started by Jerry Jones is to create a little bit of leverage with Dak Prescott. I don't think there was any validity to that. I don't care what Michael Irvin says by the wake people put out misinformation now about the draft. I mean that's happening with Teddy Bridgewater right now that somebody according to Mike Florio. Profootballtalk is putting out this. Teddy Bridgewater wants thirty million dollars a year now. Did he wants that he does that? He's teams WANNA give them thirty. Thirty is GonNa get you twenty four. I'M GONNA guess with Teddy Bridgewater. I mean this could be like Scott. Boris always does this baseball. Hey he he's GonNa get four hundred. We want four hundred one four hundred three thirty. But you know this leverage that you have I keep coming back to this Bengal fans and I know that. You're you got blinders on. I don't I've been around to have remembered elway certainly with Eli and when you say leverage how many other guys who were going to be drafted number one use the word leverage. I can't remember anybody in recent memory and maybe if somebody can remind me of that a gladly mentioned it but he keeps coming back to leverage. Yeah mclovin remember when the contract was negotiable then players. Yeah but games. This is slotted. Yeah Yeah polling Kyla Murray did this with a different sport though yeah. He used baseball his leverage with football and vice versa. Football to try to get one more big offer out of the as and he did have leverage. He had two different choices. You job has to create leverage by getting team interested an instant team to trade up which is if you look back in the story with his dad and his agents. They concocted this to get the giants to go and but they need another team to get involved here. It can't just be the bengals aren't gonNA shop. They have to be broached but the misinformation. That's out there or speculation that's out there like Matthew Stafford the lines are gonNA trade or Tom. Brady is not going back to the The Patriots it's just. There's IT's a big game of chess. And all of these parts are the quarterbacks you know there's a king that's Brady. You got a queen. You got your pawns. We're probably the pawns. But there's this information that's out there. Joe Bureau is leaving it open to interpretation for what reason I don't know because he could really close this all he has to say I'm going to Cincinnati if they want me I want to go to Cincinnati to be number one to go to Ohio back to Ohio and play for the Bengals. That's what I want. What is your process that you're leaving that open for unless there's the possibility you're not going to Cincinnati or you don't want to go to Cincinnati. I don't make this up. I'm not reading into this and I've been accused of it but I'm not I'm just pointing it out. I hope Joe Borough. If he goes number one goes to Cincinnati. They can use the help there and if he goes there could be a great story. But I'm not naive. Joe Borough keeps this in the headlines. Nobody else he does. How are we not including Fritz? Santa's Fritzy as the King of the vague answer who wouldn't want to go to the Cincinnati bengals actually. Us Todd this question. He will give you the perfect Joe. Borough s cancer..

God I I wanna I know that I have my facts right on this before going down this path but that the creative community is kind of frustrated with what Netflix is doing because what they do they throw this giant money at Chapelle to get people over there for stand up stuff and then what they do is they do nothing but cheap stuff off after that they're doing nothing but cheap stuff. The comics can't get anything once. They've established it and that what they're doing to creativity is the throwing big money at big big things but when it's popular. So I'm walking by and he I guess he's just Kinda grammy or hey you know. Of course I'm looking at him and he he struck up a conversation. We kinda exchanged phone numbers. And we're Texan kind of for the whole second half of that game and they say that that was you know he's he's been great religious. A A great friend of mine and you know messages. Need on the regular saying good luck or good job or man Dan. You you you stunk there. Did you think to yourself the while. You're texting him. The whole second half. What the Hell's happening here I am I was I was? I had my friend with me right there in Obviously he's like wait a minute what what are you gonNa like. He's I can't believe this is looking at and so of course I was saying boy Dow but breath. Yeah he's just he's down Earth Guy. Obviously we both share a lot interesting golf. I come out came down to Florida for them. So it's been it's been a good fun on friendship way. Do you text him like. Hey Michael let's go fix the damn team. No I I know my boundaries and in one is to not talk about the orange. Okay well are your boundaries do include and again this is Denny Hamlin the Nascar Cup series championship. Homestead Miami speedway Sunday three PM EASTERN ON NBC. Do you have an indoor basketball court correct. Correct Yeah So have you been tempted to invite him or is that outside the boundaries. Well I mean I I've not. I may have invited him at some point. You know his Charlotte's main residents obviously mostly down here in Florida but Yeah I mean I know my limitations. You know. We don't look we don't like to look foolish. So why would I volunteer. Look Foolish and and have him over there just an embarrassing. I gotTa Tell Ya. Friendship with Jordan seems very stressful. You don't want to send the wrong thing or else it's over. No doubt it out to do you have any good Jordan gambling stories Well not none of the stakes that That's been in the media late later but We we like to have a friendly wager for sure. Can you tell me a little bit about what happened with you. Enjoy Lugano a couple of weeks ago. You seem like a reasonable man eve- even tempered but those things happen sometimes when racing. That are problematic. Correct I mean you know from my standpoint I made a mistake on the racetrack Got Into the side of them where it was at the end of the race where everyone the role was pushing and shoving and it was really tight quarters this at Nascar short track And it basically cut his tired out and and it was upset about it. Wanted come over and talk to me We were having a very civil conversation for a while but I don't think that I probably was giving him like the You know man and I you know I'm so sorry I'm so sorry type attitude toward them I was you know I apologize. That I wasn't over the top. And he I guess he just Kinda took offense to it and then he'll shovel the shoulder but as he was walking away not not as he was standing there and so I was like no you. Can't you can't do that so you gotta are. You gotta stick up for yourself and and essentially go after the guy so what level of sorry where you actually though like did did you. You were sorry yeah absolutely I mean I knew that I messed up I told him that I just misjudge the situation. And if that answered just good enough you know for him and I think that yeah really I think he you know. He's stated that he would do things differently. I don't know that I would. I mean you can't just let someone you know you kind of shove on the way on the way out the door and not doing anything about it so I think it was handled the way it needed to be any Hamlin. Once you've got a baby we got my kids here and they're starting to play with each other langer my lap so I just yeah. We're down here in Media Day in Miami Getting Ready for the last race and I want to enjoy it with them and spend time with them. During the time Roy for some reason dumped the baby a baby was not cursing. It was just a baby. I got scared thought it was occurs denny any handling with us the NASCAR Cup Series Championship. Homestead Miami speedway this Sunday three PM Eastern on NBC. When you look back so you've you've been very steady is is the big memory? If you have to choose one victory is it does it have to be Daytona. Because because of the tradition there. You've wanted twice another one. It's the biggest race by far as far as the prestigious side of things. You know one two of them One of them in two thousand sixteen was on a final passed. We had the closest finish in the history of that race You know that was a big one. But I'll be honest us with is probably the one I had last weekend was the most significant one of my career because we were in a win or go home situation we had to to win and we you know we. We didn't win. Essentially were out and we work can be part of the championship. Four in Miami and we stepped up to the plate and we knocked doc it out Denney put us at the post race celebration after winning your first Daytona. It was major. I can tell you this. I was not prepared for the the media. Day that that ensued right after Daytona in two thousand sixteen. I learned my lesson two thousand nineteen though I definitely did not go quite as it's hard at it but man. It was a tough plane. Right up I was sick for most of the day and between interviews it was just. It was a tough one. Well how much did you drink like. What was that nightline? Did you sleep at all. Well I don't know you know you can't you lose cam at some point right so you were throwing. Oh you got you got sick that yeah I mean you guys are once in a lifetime opportunities and he just you know I was able to have my team around and so most wins After the races are over the driver you know gets an in the plane. He goes home the teams in the plane and they go home and they're never together but with Tony. No no you guys use media the next day so you have to stay overnight at the track. Well as you know in the city so it'd be able to like go out that night and celebrate with them essentially like a championship. Mike Ryan is staring right. Now at your home on the Internet We're doing this to us so you're not bragging about this but can you sort of take. Take us on a tour fewer trying to impress somebody with your home. What what would you show them? If you were trying to impress somebody. Okay all right. That's a pretty easy easy. When I mean you can either go to victory lanes where there's putting green and a bowling alley and all that stuff and or you can go upstairs stairs? My favorite room has always been my media room Where we watch movies and stuff but it has a glass wall that looks into that two thousand Sixteen Daytona five hundred car with the trophy right there next to it? So it's it's like victory lanes you know. We have the confetti. The car dirty still right off the racetrack. So being able to have like that car. That's significant car. My biggest win sitting right there in the living room is very cool. My grind is just sitting here staring at this. How did that go over? Were there any objections putting it there anywhere else in the family. No No I had sole control of the building of with that house So I kind of did it in is oddly enough you know when I was In the middle of doing all the plans and all that stuff I knew knew that I wanted to have this kind of glass show room of of cars that are significant to me and my career But never knew like what would be that that. That's let's showcase car like I don't have a showcase car An oddly enough right before we moved in. We want to five hundred and I'm like well we've got the car now at school Denny Hamlin with us again Nascar Cup series championship.
