"You're not listening to him right now on Sunday nights or Sunday morning or Friday mornings in Arizona I mean I'm sorry you're missing so now here but that being said you know what you're talking about is that there's a lot of story lines here. I mean it's like the wwe accept these are real story lines. I mean these things were. It's like you know you don't know what the settlers is GonNa be and what they're gonNA play. What's going to happen but boy? Oh boy you know if if you WANNA rip something for first week there's no way you're scripted to walk. Let me know crazy Indian. Let me ask you this. Let me ask you this. You're watching or seeing that come back from the Arizona cardinals getting back into it against the Detroit lions who I like to recall the lie downs I mean they got out good and obviously played a salad first half and were up eighteen points against his team and then you know at the cardinals cardinals turned around and yeah you gotTa give a lot of credit collar Murray looked like he started easing self into the game a little bit and figured out how to get his weapons like Larry Fitzgerald and David David Johnson into that offense a little bit and you know they made this thing one hell of a football game and obviously they were just little bit short of being able to to figure out a way to scrap it out and overtime and twenty seven twenty seven in a weird way. It's gotTa feel a little bit like a victory to them. In a lot of ways is but there are no moral victories in football. We all know that but I do think there are some positives to take away from this <hes> but there's also a lot of negatives to because what we saw early in the Game Mitch it was atrocious so maybe they're not as bad as they started out and maybe they're not as good as you want to see in there at the end. Maybe maybe it's somewhere in the middle but if you look at what staffers numbers were right He's twenty seven and forty five three five yards. Three touchdowns raised Eh twenty four hundred thirty six three four hundred three touchdowns. I mean you know there's a little bit more attempts to everybody complains about the same yards that they and touch their thing. Thanks so you know you got some things that are going on. You know you you had this rash. I WanNa do it about preseason football but obviously obviously that must have been the defense that was the issue there not necessarily often you know or the quarterbacks play but <hes> I I if there was a the first week of the season in which you saw the complete spectrum of what we could possibly expect back in the season I mean I don't know how you could if you write the script. No one's GONNA buy it. No one's going to buy it. The broncos trounced. You know what I mean. Dolphins completely trump's at home I feel you. I feel you mentioned Santa Monica. I appreciate the phone call as always one eight hundred eight seven eight seven five.

"The former all pro receiver has become an advocate for cancer awareness is brother and his father both died of cancer. It is now five twenty one time for your CEO spotlight with David Johnson. Well, Wall Street always seems to have bull markets. Kleiber? Wall of the latest worry is actually an old worry it's back again that is a global economic slowdown not just here and not just in the EU or sub emerging countries. But everywhere, I don't know how likely this is. But I know who does Greg Meyer is directed senior economist for audience global investors, and he joins us, right? It's good heavier. This could be your David. So is that likely that we all fall at the same time? Well, there's there's definitely some questions about what's happening with the global economy. You've seen. Yield curves. Not just here in the US but abroad, invert, just recently. You've seen. Glowing interest rates are higher now than they are two years from now or three years correct yet typically longer term that has a higher interest. That that's turned upside down recently in the US. We've got three month yields are currently higher than ten year treasury yields which is pretty unusual phenomenon it so they're looking at in the future. They're saying things are not going to be as good in the future. You've actually this is getting reinforced. We saw a Tuesday we solved the housing starts in the building permits. Just dropped off a cliff. We are really seeing a slowdown here. Yeah. Yeah. We've seen a number of different indicators in the US slowing down from December retail sales numbers which were the worst since two thousand nine to January industrial production, which contracted to February manufacturing that was that was very soft as well. So the slowdown really began in mid twenty eighteen where we had peak growth in the US in the third quarter. We saw slower growth in the fourth quarter even slower growth in and for the first quarter of twenty nine thousand nine we're looking at this is not without precedent. It'd be economies are like people leave mood swings. They turn around their perky day. Is so which I guess what you worry about is a deep recession that turns into the D word is this are we in a recession. What do you think? No. I don't think. So. And that's the most common question that we're getting from clients as well, what's the scale of the slowdown. Are we going into recession and right now, I would say that we're probably looking at just a slowdown, but there's a great deal of uncertainty. That's out there right now as well. So some of the leading indicators that you'd be looking at to determine whether or not we're heading toward recession the yield curve in particular that those are starting to flesh more yellow and red. So that could just be flashing that we're going to have. And I think Janet Yellen said this the other day that it may be that there's a rate cut coming down the line. Absolutely. Just just last week. We saw the Federal Reserve take all interest rate hikes for for twenty nineteen off the table. Yeah. That was a very dovish move by the fed Greg Meyer. Is director and senior economist for Ali owns global investors. Good debut weather. It's great to be here. David David Johnson. Newsradio today to KRLD, David. Thank you. And you can hear his entire.

"It's an eagles Chaco. And here I got a couple of questions. I want to ask you guys start out with MAC in Philly. Amac. Hey, what's going on? How you feeling how you doing? I'm good. I'm blessed by the best. I can't complain on my way to dialysis. No can't complain. My personal thing. Honestly, it might sound crazy. I just wish there how we can fold strain. And I do think we had the locker room for it. But within his off the little dots that we got. Lady, I'm Bill. I mean, he literally three down back. And then if we wanted to get more rest, that's when you putting the clinic the Smallwood or if we draft a new back. The problem is they just can't afford to pay that kind of If. Another option if we can I if the possibility that trade is there the next back that I like with the offense that we run with the running off of the line is David Johnson. Why not he he's a big back? You think about when we won the Super Bowl that that that that it came down to us running the ball whether it be with Clement or with small with primary primarily a climate. But then it was look. Look there blunt, basically. Down the remaining. We're we're Carson Wentz can feel comfortable. Excuse me control the game. He didn't he didn't feel pressure to where he had to do this. And do that David David Johnson's under contract for three three more years. It looks life. Yeah. But I if I if I mean, I mean Jean gave me. Berry. I'm pretty sure. There's something to tractive with with with with the Super Bowl former Super Bowl. Philadelphia eagles. I'm pretty sure there's something that interesting or on organization and how we can cook something up to maybe get a David Johnson. I mean, see MAC, thanks for the call the part of the problem with a guy like that is to to get a David Johnson. You have to give something up and. I just I just don't see how we doing that for at this point. And he he's got a big contract. If you trade for the guy, you're gonna have to pay him a lot of money. Looks like it's cap goes up to ten million. They just don't have that kind of room. They got a quarterback they got assigned. I'm just looking here. Dave Johnson is amazing. Exciting plays. Gotta gotta figure of fourteen million in twenty twenty. You're not gonna. I mean, how we will never if they release them. You go sign them. But certainly how they don't have the cat room. They I mean, they're already cap trouble. Bring a guy who's got you know, ten million. And plus the the Arizona can't comes out of twenty million dollars in dead cap. If they if they caught them, so they're not going to trade or not gonna cut him. He's out of the mix. I think a guy like Mark Ingram is realistic marking was a free agent. The problem with the trade is you gotta give up something. And I just don't see the eagles given up anything for you know. For a guy with that kind of contract. Kyle in the northeast your next what's up Kyle? Hey question about some prospects running back. How do you feel about Bryce love Stanford? I know injured last year but come back from injury. They've had some good running backs coming out of Stanford. He's talented the previous year just seeing what you think about him as a bid draft pick teams might be scared about the injury. Yeah. I think that's something that, you know, you're gonna look at it to combine they'll see, you know, how healthy is in and. And go from there. I know he he's not much of a receiver. And I think in this offense they really wanna back that can catch the ball. Now. Maybe it's something he can he can develop. I think he he he only caught like six or eight balls a year in college. I really think they want to back that can catch the ball. And and be a weapon that way. He's got he's got approved healthy, I think right now he's kind of projected as what a three or a third or fourth round type guy. Yeah. Third fourth round of before the injury, probably one or two. If you can get back to that type of talent you kinda like. Linebacker the fell to union the Cowboys Dalen Smith or something like that injury. Got back to talent. I mean, maybe if he gets back, and you only get him for union a fourth round pick or something. But you might get a second round talent. At the end, the problem with that is your I mean, and and the eagles. I'm sure if they're interested they'll have their medical people put them through a whole battery of tests, but it's you can't afford to to draft a guy if you know, if you're really that concerned about his health, and and and we'll see I mean said the Jones is an interesting case because he was projected as a one. You know, they used a to autumn which considering how talented he is. I was I was good with that. And usually young guys with a with a freak injury. Like that. It's you know, they're going to they're going to be healthy and still be very young. But it's it's definitely a risk. Yep. All right. Thank you. Appreciate the call. Kyle. Eight hundred seventy nine ninety four ninety four. And the thing is if you take a running back in the second round, which I think they would do I don't think they're gonna take another one in the fourth round. They got a bunch of fourth round picks though. So maybe but. I that would surprise me. Pump freeze the one that really. That just killed them. I mean just being wrong about pump free. Yes. She ended up back on the team. He went to where did you go Detroit for awhile on their practice squad didn't play they cut him. He came back here to finish the season Philly on the practice squad. But yeah, that's a fourth round pick. It's not a pick that you're always going to nail. But he was what all-time leading college rusher and just never never showed anything. So maybe he'll be back in training camp in and maybe there's something there. But it's you know, we certainly haven't seen any sign that pump can can be a player. What a great cause player. But you know, it's the one position that this is so much of a difference between college and and the NFL for running backs. It's just a that's where you're you're scouting department really really has to do a lot of projecting. You know, and and really figure out how guys gonna fit the NFL as a blocker as a receiver. Some of these guys are just runners in college. I mean, you know, puffery didn't catch the ball the ball a little bit. But didn't block. But we'll see I think I think Ingram's a nice guy. If you wanna go free agency. I know he's a little older. But really solid player. I'm not sure he wants to split time with somebody. And I'm not sure the eagles would want to sign a guy at that age to be their lead back, but it's certainly an option not sure how much money he's looking for eagles aren't going to be in a position to spend a ton of money on free agents. A couple of questions I wanted to throw out there. Here's number one. Talk wide receivers for a minute. We haven't done that tonight. Alshon, obviously, you'll be here. This really no guarantees about anybody else and the more. I look at this the more I'm convinced they can't afford to keep Nelson and Golden State. There's just no way. Now, he's do nine million. This is option year. It's not guaranteed. They can cut him. They can sign up to a long term deal. They can do whatever they want. It's up to him. He doesn't have to accept anything. So he can you know? But I think it makes sense if you want if you want to keep Nelson, you get rid of that nine million dollars cap it by signing him to like a four year deal still young. He's only twenty twenty five I think he's young kid signed to a four year deal. Give them give a signing bonus that you could pro rate over four years. And you get rid of that nine million dollars cap hit that the, you know, the one the one year nine million dollar option. It's boys over nine million would cost. That's that's no bonus. It's though dead money. If you cut him because there's no there's no bonus money. It's just a nine million plus base salary that all of all of which counts. Yes cap if he's on your team. That's a that's a huge cap. It for Nellie for a guy who I I like, and he's got a lot of talent. He's made a lot of big places. He's been here. But he's never really had that breakout year. Yeah, he's never had that thousand yards never had eight hundred yards in season. He's a lot for guys may have a lot of big plays is never been that kind of guy. So. How do you measure measures value? And then you look at a play like. You know, the one in New Orleans where he kind of turned the wrong way on what could have been a fifty yard game. A touchdown. Maybe wins the game. You kind of look at where he is as a player, and and what his ceiling is. I think he's got a chance to be a really good slot guy. But then golden Tate's a guy who Yavuz asleep believed in enough to give up a third round pick. And kind of underachieved didn't do a whole lot. Obviously had the biggest catch of the season for down in Chicago. Whatever happens. He'll always have. Kind of place in eagles history. But you he's a slot guy. Now is a slack guy. And Goldens, a free agent and wants a lot of money and probably deserves it even though his numbers this past year weren't ideal and he's a little older than you like why wide receivers complained to their thirties. These thirty one. So if you can only keep one of them who do you keep you keep daily or keep golden, and why will you tell me that eight eight eight seventy nine ninety four ninety four got kind of rebuild this wide receiving crew. Because you just can't afford to keep both those guys. And that's why the trade when they made. It was kind of you know, it was kind of really interesting. Because you do when they made it. They either would most likely have to cut ties with golden or move on from Nelly. And Goldens got more of a body of work. Now, he's a lot younger has got, you know, a high ceiling..

"Let's just keep pick it back up and continued on the air. Stephen Jackson is with us in studio and Stephen. I just you just had this right before we came on the air your last game. What you tell the story last game. The Tiki played good so Tiki, and I were his last Pro Bowl that was my first Pro Bowl, which was my last game last night. Last time. I remember sitting next to him in the locker rooms, I don't be too cool that. You don't be that guy. Tiki, man. You might as we switch something. And he gave me a helmet. I wouldn't even think I don't know. I don't I'm not thinking maybe cleats or something. I was asking for you gave me a hell. Why? I believe it. Yeah. It hanging up. Now, guys. All those things. But no, but back then you didn't do it too much to do with the Pro Bowl. I can't imagine you do after you play the Arizona Cardinals and individual game. Yeah. No. And this guy the way he played you weren't doing that nonsense back. Then a lot of respect for Asia will thin and darnold document. Let me ask you about respect along those lines here. Cata step out for second. And Stephen we're talking dad's marines got a former reasonable bring always bring my father-in-law's a marine. So you have that mentality. You've got a conviction of toughness, and I wonder that not that you have to be a marine to think this way, but I can't. But I would think that this is non-negotiable Antonio Brown. Yes. Would you wanna play with him? Again. If you're on that Steelers team the way you were raised the way, you think what I just got there in five minutes during the break. I don't think that you would welcome him back in that locker room. You know what I play with a few Browns. Right. Didn't show up in week seventeen win game. Well, well, not that that, but I've had a guy he he wouldn't missing on a Tuesday show up on Friday. Like what happened? What were you been an all, right? So I've had those instances and he was not a star. Like, I told you a Brown. But in those in those circumstances, I believe in direct confrontation, like I'm stepping to that person as a captain on the team a man, man. The man was going on because whatever you filling with front office a coach has nothing to do with other fifty two guys. Right. And if you don't wanna play this game, that's fine. That's fine. But then just finish it out strong. And I think him not showing up and doing these things he's trying to force his way out. Those are. Contractor being that should be handled outside the field outside of the game. And when you when you bring that into the locker room now, you act in Gaza pick sides and gosh, I don't pick sides when they're still trying to catch a check. That's the honest truth. And make a lot of money. Yeah. It's your job. Yes. And that money that we make an NFL is not that it makes us better than anybody else. Is that we all know how hard it was to get that first check. Yeah. So now, you get to a point in your career where you feel that. Hey, you know, maybe I think I deserve more. That's Hoffer guy like me because I've played on teams that went one fourteen and fifteen and fourteen and fifteen and I gave everything I had on that field. And it wasn't. It wasn't had nothing to do that. I was so loyal to the to the Saint Louis Rams as that those other fifty two guys I looked in the locker room that was I look man, we got a job to do. We won't go out here. Enter tiny about why are we doing? We're going to do the best. We can. Yeah. There's an there's an availability. That's necessary for stars, captain. Like like, you were Steven Steven. I guess it kinda shines light on the next conversation about lay La Belle. And it's less about Levy on bell. I love him too. Every Super Bowl is. I don't think we'll have this year. It's funny because last year has got to make some money. I was joking with him. Like, you know, they're gonna franchise you again, literally job, and they franchised them. And we saw it happen. I agree with his stance. Standing up for the position. Now, you like me were dual-purpose. You would all the guys doing even though you're sixty pounds heavier than that was unbelievable. How big you are. But you were ninety receptions you had one season you thousand yards consistent consistently the value of this position. Our former position has become enormous. But it's not being treated that way. What should running backs be making these days because when I was playing it was seven six seven or maybe now, it's probably about six seven or eight or so problem except for the top the upper echelon guys like Levy on bell and a couple of others who who skewed who were outlay Johnson made money. Yeah. But it's it's it's stolen money because he was the former previous contract. What's the value of the position? Now. So I plug myself really fast. Right. So I did I did at being was called say the running back, then we were just poking fun at every would like putting up posters of like the white out and in a typewriter and all these days, right? And it's like we put a post of like running back in the silhouette of a guy running is like, and we don't stop this is going to speak. So that being said, then you have Tigers. Right. The Zeki Ali through the pipeline. You have all these Clark alley. Yeah. So the value is starting to come back, but he's only coming back in a draft. Now, we need re reflected in dollars. Yes. And outside of Asia. And Peterson Chris Johnson. They didn't move the they move the point far from what you were saying those numbers, Tim when you're right. It was crazy. And I have a lot of that going back to guys willing to share the ball. There's no way when I was in Atlanta. We had a ball with three other guys. There's no way somebody could get a feel for the game. Gearhart get you know, get the carries that you need and want to separate yourself to typically and put the team on your back. There's no way you could do that. When you shared a ball. Now, you're talking about doing it two ways. Now, you have the new rules where you can't lower your show that helmet. Really can't do that. You got guys that the defense. I feel like they ought to disadvantage fifty one forty nine. They can't says the receivers right? So now, it's more, and then you have position coaches and coordinators lobbying for head coaching job. So our guys not getting them getting them, right? Tossing around. Yeah. Because a guy that's gonna call thirty carries a game thirty to thirty runs. He's not he's not going to get a new job. That's coming up next year. So all of this is slide against the position. And guys are not standing up for themselves on Bill, and I don't blame lady on Belleville taking a stance. I blame the other guys the half the. The half the plateau could say something now. Right. You're not on the first contract. You're well established you can say something. Yeah. Because you've been royally paid a few of them still playing Raleigh paid at the levels that they're trying to get to lady on wants to get to the fourteen fifteen million, Mark. There's God's is still playing the half that number that scene number. Yeah. And mega speak up a little more. Yeah. I think you're right. I mean, it's it's frustrating to watch because the positions become so valuable if you don't have a dual purpose of Lea running back you you don't win. You know, what I mean, you find all these guys? Now, the third and the fourth round make it short term gone debuted Y steps up. I think the the biggest thing that Kirk cousins did was create the idea. And I guarantee you running backs would would sign up for this. Give me four years making guaranteed. Right. You can use me up dude me up. And if I still got it I'll go get it somewhere else at the end. But give it to me guaranteed. You meet after your rookie contract after your room. I mean 'cause 'cause most of these guys were rookie contract should only be three years. Exactly. We're not talking about saquon. We're not talking about tiger. When I talked about the guys who get drafted in the first round. We're talking with the guys that are in the second round turn out to be studs. Right. That are that are David David Johnson. Right. Philip Lindsay is is a prime example, they're coming and they sneak in under the radar you pay them what they're worth guarantee it for years. And if you don't like him after four years. But at least let them get paid. That's what lay on bells trying to keep. Keep the running back down. I got nothing against you guys. You know, what we gotta do. We have to call an audible here, you wanna hang around the rest of the hour is doing we gotta talk about the games coming up this weekend. Got to ask you about some of the old players who are still that you competed against that are still out there. Want to get your thoughts on we aborted? More to talk about Steven Jackson, so Stevens get the hang out for the next segment. We'll do that anthrax up. Let's stay on time. Acts got it. Then we're back with Stephen right here on Tiki interior, take it away..

"Martin's got a pretty good shot of getting ends on this week. I think he's again, a viable, you know, high end flex play low end Rb to playing Joe mixing for the Bengals and tell her boy, we continue to say, it's no AJ green. He is the most targeted player for this Bengals offense. It's not close. John Ross has been productive in a touchdown department. When AJ green has not played that is the ultimate gamble. The role of the dic- is sort of like what I think I would have called Mike Williams going into last night's game. If Keenan Allen had stayed healthy, right? If she'd now healthy microwave isn't half three touchdowns. But that's not correct John Ross. It's like Dante Pettis Mike Williams those guys that could score touchdown any game. Or they could also have you know, two catches for thirty seven yards. Right. The Bengals one of those catches was ridiculous the Mike Williams, but but the run come on. I mean, the run was an an amazing play at some point the chiefs. He like come on just let like a six foot four guy twenty rumble for twenty yards event is not there when he caught up field. He had a burst of explo- expect out of a guy as big as he was. I mean, he's unripe gas Mike friend of the podcast, Mike Williams. I mean, look there's a reason like when the chargers took him top five overall, seventh right? Took them in the first and the first ten picks known was like, whoa. What are the charges doing there? I mean, he was a rockstar. And Clemson I mean, so I mean, everyone thought like go to mosier at their the. Yeah. Anyway, so, but but still you shouldn't let a guy that size run rush for twenty yards. We'll discuss that more on Monday. The Bengals are two and a half point favorites in this game. The bank. I guess. Easy now, that's an easy pick taking the Bengals whenever it's a game. Like this. You gotta just pick the team that has the best player. Joe mix gonna score it. What does it? You said Keith four touchdowns and two point conversion. Yeah. Twenty six just on just on touchdown tubing. I think the raiders are traveling short week. Cardinals. And again, I haven't made our picks hits. Von who you taken in this one angles to say this because as you know, what happens when you guys count on the Bengals what they bone you. Yeah. Yeah. They bone you. And so you know, what give me the raiders raiders Matthews going with the raiders the cardinals go to Atlanta to play the falcons another one of those teams traveling across the country in playing an early kickoff. Let's begin though with the cardinals. You're starting David Johnson has been a great season. We understand that much. And was there again, you're chasing touchdowns. Seeming David Johnson's going to be fine. Facing rainbows with a quad injury practice Wednesday say Matthews talking right? Over me. I'm just talking to Daniel. Sometimes Daniel I have our own little podcast a button that says that you can go back and frame amazing. Been doing this for a long forty years. Playbook right there. David Johnson for those joke to find him in. All right. Come on there. Absolutely. Not define you. Could you repeat for me? What you said about David David Johnson has a quad injury. Didn't practice on Wednesday limited on Thursday? I am assuming that he will be better enough today to give it a go. But we should double check. Keep an eye on David Johnson on Sunday for the falcons Julio Jones the best wide receiver in the NFL. As Kyle's aptly noted on the sheet. You're starting him. I've have some people say he's over it is right. Well, let's go to the poll did have a poll about this the poll came in. We ran up for two and a half days..

"Favorite over? Now. Actually, my favorite bump kind of giving them honorable mentions because I haven't heard of yet. Okay. Space coast hurt. Space ghost. Now, he space goes host a late night TV show is that the tick. I think he did. But that was long after the cartoon. All right. I don't remember the cartoon tell me about it. Cartoons in the seventies early seventies. It was about this guy was a ghost and travel throughout space. How did usual adventures? And then there was a herculean. What's the thing? I like about both. Really different Herculex was his family sort of right on this planet, and they had different adventures on every show. And then I got a trivia question for you. So go ahead. Okay. Who was the original? Who was the narrative for rocky? Boy. Oh that was William Conrad. Wasn't it? Correct. And I and who did he go on to be the narrator for? I don't know about that. But I know who else was was original, Matt Dillon. And all right. All right. We're gonna go Frank cannon. Now, I'm going to give you on. I just gave it out. Right. Who is who? And what EV detective did he play? Yeah. My dad loves that show. I'll give you another one. William Conrad was the bouncer for what very popular television show whose finale generated the highest ratings of its time. Ooh. That's a good question. Go ahead. I have no idea. All right. We'll give you a head there. I'll give you a clue it only. Don't give clues. I'll give you a clue. Okay. Now. William Conrad was the announcer and the show when the show went off the air got the highest ratings of in the history of television at that point. And it was one thousand nine hundred sixty seven. Oh, no. Nineteen sixty seven. I'll give you a give you a Conrad would come on in the beginning of every episode, and he came on again at the end of every episode and the show was acquitted Martin production. No, that's. You've gotta know this. You're gonna hear you. You're going to hate yourself. When I tell you come on, get smart. No come on an innocent victim of vine Justice. Or as Conrad with say an innocent victim of blind Justice. Could've been a fusion. It was the fugitive falsely convicted of the murder of his wife. Oh, yeah. Until a train wreck freed him. Yeah. Is you ever your the conclusion to that? Of course, the funny they run they run the fugitive on Sunday nights on me TV and actually DVR it. So that I can watch it on Monday morning. It was such a grows really ahead of its time. David David Johnson played a great part in it. And you know, the way it ended the kind of like for what it was. It was a really good show and the movie they came out with with Harrison Ford in Ninety-three was incredible. Yeah. Yeah. That was good. Favorite movies? Real person Sam Sheppard, right? I believe so Dr Sam shepherd, and I think he got off right then Sam Sheppard get off. I think so I remember all the details about that. It was great about it show is based on, but it didn't really mirror it. No. And you what you got with the fugitive was the idea that, you know, in the sixties when black and white was becoming grey back in the fifties. You had the white hats and black the good guys into bad guys with a fugitive. Here's the whole idea it broadened so much more so many more elements to television because here you got this guy. He's innocent. How do we know he's innocent because you're going to tell you is innocent upfront. Now, you've got this cop who doesn't really care whether that he's innocent. He just knows his his job to enforce the law and the law says he's guilty. Even though Gerard deep down has his doubts. He's got to enforce or he's got the conflict going on. And then you got this guy. And you know, what it could never happen today. No. I mean, like, I don't know like when you see those America's most wanted how I mean like when you look at the way like with that show. Just like, you know, he would circle there. I mean on the one hand hiking, you find him on the other hand has he ever gonna find a guy that he saw in a split second run out of house, but but like today with cell phones and fat, you know, and and communication that. We have I don't think it would work today. They tried it in the late nineties, and it didn't work. Yeah. They did. Tim. That was he plays. He plays. The husband on Madam secretary. Yeah. Played really. Well, the only thing about that show that got me though is every time I can get caught because every time David Janssen spoke up. We'll get this look on his face. Like if I were a cop. I them just just the way he looked at me. Vince man, thanks for the call to New Jersey one zero one point five eight three one zero one point five rollover to place tonight. "But he never gave up on the play. No, it didn't the J loop those sticks Matt money and Daniel Jeremiah with a call for K F. I Philip rivers tied the NFL record for consecutive completions. That throw too keen, and it was also great play by Allen who kept on moving and moving and finding a little window. These guys have are locked in right now. Anyway, so rivers tied the record for most completions has started game and the highest percentage in a game as the chargers whooped up on the cardinals forty five ten that the stub or at the hub. Or at the centre rivers probably deserves some MVP loved to write Mark come on is always forgotten. And it doesn't help that. He's playing in a city where he's absolutely playing second fiddle to everything that the Rams are doing right now. Sixth little yes. I mean, how many fiddles can there be because you see that stadium and that clippers fiddle is like playing louder a little bit louder a little bit louder. I mean, I I want to get to the stadium thing in a second. But they're one concerning issue. Melvin Gordon who came in with knee and hip issues left with a injury on his other knee, which the lays the latest. I'm seeing here is that Williams of ESPN thinks it's an MC L, which is much obviously better than an ACL. And they feel like he could return, but may miss the Steelers game next week, which is critical. Ouch. They do have one of the more deeper intriguing backfield's in the league. And those in Austin ler came in later and played fantastically. They did everything you could ask for on offense and Joey Bosa made a couple of big plays the cardinals to me or an absolute loss. 'cause. But if you wanna pull one thing hopeful I thought the first drive with Rosen and David David Johnson was promising, but it's more of the same. It's just flat lining team that has to question if they're going to keep their coach around. This was a chargers game for me because they got down early where they bounced back well after that loss to Denver, and I I do think that they can go into Pittsburgh and beat them. But I don't know if you could do that without Melvin Gordon that was my biggest takeaway from watching the game when they fall behind ten nothing after what we saw in the fourth quarter, the previous Sunday, you're like, oh, man charge is going to charge her here. And then they just they do they roll forty five straight points out. And they just score every time they have the ball. And it's just another reminder. I mean, this is shouldn't you do not get lollipops for beating the cardinals at home. But for charge team it has demons and an game that impasse years could easily been a trap game for an organization like this with the Steelers on deck. You gotta give him credit for that. They had one one one series. I thought absolutely showed that they are not previous chargers teams where Rosen through an absolutely awful. And sometimes you see this from Josh Rosen like the decision on a throw. It's just an absolute bad decision. And he threw a terrible pick in this game to win James and then right away. Melvin Gordon shotguns for touchdown. It's like, that's what this team can do their explosive. So I am concerned of Gordon's not in there. I'll give him a little lollipop at least for blow in them out for right? Allowing a century no yards. After those first to drive you didn't like dumdum one of those like one of the dentist dentists. It'd be a Bank lolly Gooding months-old teams. Do they blow up at teams? I got a you take the dumdum is way up there in the lollipop rankings mystery one, well, I like the cherry it's like the apple the fear one rupee Waterson. Watch. Crazy now, you get Llerena green gutter scotch number one in my rent blacks, west come on canto butterscotch out there like that number one by far I'll take blow Popper there as a good pick. Capello pop lasts longer. I mean, it's got come inside. So it can please. Let's. That's. When she has protect your starts to break down rolling to ROY. Wide open. To top stopped. Free fair. "Ben Rothlisberger is number one trubisky's number two. Drew Brees third pretty far behind them. But he had a great game. And. Wilson was was four and Baker Mayfield was five so far pretty low scoring day at quarterback, I guess only four quarterbacks with more than thirty fantasy points getting used about seven or so, but a lot of good performances. I think there's a clear storyline in the top five quarterbacks. Russell Wilson gamble. Roethlisberger trubisky. Breeze. Wilson Nathan would you say about oh ninety two rushing yards? That's nice ninety two rushing yards nine times. He ran the ball. He had I believe. Now forty percent of his rushing yards for the season came this week. And he had forty last week. Didn't he? That sounds right. Hi last week. So this week as well two in a row. That's a great sign. Yeah. Wilson's great the storyline. I was going for was breeze through twenty five passes. You know? And he was awesome. He was a may twenty to twenty five hundred sixty five yards and three touchdowns. And I can't sit here and say sell ju- breeze. He's got road games doesn't throw that much anymore with Mark Ingram because he's just incredible. I would say you got a little bit lucky. If you started Brees this week. I mean a little Thurs score thirty four points. You know? So well the first Michael Thomas touchdown was not a touchdown. And would not have been ruled a touchdown by majority of -ficiating. Yeah. I thought that was pretty weak. All these these second touchdown Mark Ingram. Caught a swing past thirty yard line. Made a phenomenal spin move to three to get into the end zone. But isn't that bad luck? Or is that just having great players around him. I mean, that's part of it. It's part of it. But if he throws twenty-five passes, and as this type of day on a normal basis, you're not expect anywhere close to the type of finish points that it got you through for two hundred sixty five yards on twenty five peasants. That's great. Very good. He ran went into the sneak. Yeah. Yeah. All right. Dave breaking news. Sources toll NFL network's Ian Rapoport that Rams receiver Cooper cough has a torn ACL eleven MRI tomorrow, but Sharma face it. It was not good. This is a. This is bad news for fantasy owners. Adam Cooper Cup looks like he will be done for the year. Yeah. The thing is I feel like it's bad news for only Cooper Cup owners. I always hate reacting to these injuries. Because it's like so emotionless like, it sucks. That Cooper Cup is out. He's a really exciting player. But from a fantasy standpoint. It's it's. I think offs fine. Right. I mean, gulfs fine. The interesting thing is the last last week against the saints. And we talked about them versus tight ends last week against the saints. Their tight ends had ninety yards combined this week. The Rams tight ends. Both scored a touchdown. They're tied ins may be a little bit relevant moving forward, especially this week against the chiefs. We could use them the way the tight end position is right now, they're not going to be relevant. The second. You think they're going to be relevant. They're going to solve the bigger problem is that Tyler plays a lot, but barely gets targets and Jearl Everett doesn't play a lot gets more targets in Tyler higby. They're going to be a mess, but by weeks ago, they will be interesting options, especially since they're headed toward a game against Kansas City. That's probably going to total hundred points. And you're adding Josh Renton, deeply, let's take a look at quarter at running back leaderboard running back Nick Chubb is number one is non Christian McCaffrey number two. Although finish number one in PR. David Johnson three Aaron Jones and the Shawn McCoy. Hey, did it. I predicted his first rushing to the jets are at topos fire tomorrow. Both prediction. I think people are crossing their fingers on that any who shove McCaffrey David Johnson Aaron Jones Shawn McCoy heath. Yeah. I don't know what the story. I mean, dick job was awesome. But we've talked a lot about David David Johnson. Twenty-one carries ninety eight yards and a touchdown. Seven catches eighty five yards and a touchdown. Big game. His usage was better. They got him outside just a little bit more. I hesitate to get to excited because it was the chiefs. This is the best matchup for running backs. It's the juice and if not them then it's the raiders who he plays next week. Yeah..

"The last couple of weeks. Well, thank you. Really great job. Thank you very much. For sure starters, David Johnson. You're going to start him start. This is where Kansas City's defense is still poor. David David Johnson, James white. I'm still going white over Johnson, even with Sony. Michelle though. Okay. But it's tough to sit. David Johnson this week chiefs allow five point two yards per carry two running backs and. To say the least little bubble in the passing game the running backs as well. David Johnson to get four catches last week. It's for Zona. Nobody starting. Josh Rosen Mahomes is number one for Dave and Jamie number three for heath. Chiefs are easy now. Now, I just wanna say AirAsia does allow the fewest fantasy points to quarterbacks no quarterback scored more than twenty three fantasy points against the cardinals in six point per passing. Touchdown leagues is Mahomes going to be worth the price. No, no. I don't think he's going to be worth the price. But mostly now may feel sorry the Browns. We're also doing very well against quarterbacks last weekend, but homes carpet them up. So that's not because of the matchup. It's just because Aaron Rodgers cheaper than he is an era Rogers going to be better than he is. Star Kareem hut. Tyreek hill kind of juju. Smith Schuster like tyreek hill has five to eight fantasy points in non in five of his last seven games, and he's never been a huge catch guy. His other two games were twelve fantasy points, which is good and thirty two fantasy points, which is why it's tough to ever bench of magic benched for that patriots game. But you know, what do you think here? The cardinals are pretty good against the passing game. Is tyreek hill. It's a stupid question. I know it was going to start him. But. Number three wide receiver in non P R, the number four wide receiver NPR. But it's so it's games. He is a lot of bad. And most of them are at home. Arizona's Robert woods Cup. Allen Robinson the Seattle wide receivers. Digs Damari Thomas to eight or fewer fantasy points in non PPO. He also could be getting somewhat of a target boost of Sammy Watkins doesn't play. That's true. If Sammy Watkins does play starter sit. Watkins. Yeah. Number through, walk ins, or FitzGerald, and then walk ins or Kirk. Fitzgerald and then walk. It's and I'm assuming we're talking or I'd go Fitz Gerald Watkins Kirk start Kelsey, and how much do you like the chiefs? C is okay. This is a tough week for DSP's. So I think they a good one these tough week for Disney's I think it's a tough week for DST's. I had a hard time coming up. There's a lot of great streamers. I think I think that it's a it's kind of a weird week for DSP. What I'd say because there's some that. I want would normally want to start that. I don't this week and vice versa. All right. Yeah. It's just be a fun game. Because the the cardinals have some impressive stats, but like they haven't allowed of touchdown to a tight end in six straight games, including Burton Kittle and Rudolf. So obviously, we'll start Kelsey. But we'll I guess we'll see how good this cardinals defense is all they have to do is be respectable New England at Tennessee stat of the game number one. All right, listen, Sony. Michelle owners, Alex Collins is the.

"To a long, term deal with the player on the team and the player that was tagged basically you're playing under, the one game a franchise contract now. DeMarcus Lawrence lamarcus Joyner and who else. My Mizuki Zeke Ziggy, Ansah thank you, have signed their franchise tax but, that means they can still work. Out a long term deal Levy on bell running back. For. The Pittsburgh Steelers has not signed that franchise tag because he, still wants to work out that long, term? Deal Mike Tomlin the Steelers. Head coach said he's optimistic that, they'll have, good news today and that's wonderful, for him Adam Schefter our financial insider says that's great optimism he's not buying it is interesting how, players don't like the franchise tag anymore by the way DeMarcus Lawrence ants are both gonna make seventeen million. Dollars this year. Guaranteed so they're going to work out all right. But, you. You understand in the. Context. Of the game in the market of why they, don't like it because they don't have that long term deal with bigger. Amount of guaranteed money I don't know where Mike this is going to go with bell this is a position that is beginning harder and harder to figure, out, the running back position people have talked about it losing, value, in the NFL. I completely disagree? The running. Back I think has lost some of the value but, not the running back position because if you want to rename it to a slash. E position the true running back Adrian Peterson's of the world that that I think we have shifted away from that it is Bell you know it is David David Johnson. It is Zeke Elliott it, is those multifaceted guys who can line up, out of the backfield hunt. And catch out of the backfield, to where we're. Trying to figure. Out what they're worth is as opposed to the life expectancy of a running, back in, the NFL out think they've lost value leading on bells trying. To reset on saying that that's. What I'm, saying we're trying to find the new value of today's running back that's the difference is trying to say he's trying to set a Mark and this is something that guys like saquon. Barkley you're coming into the league or in that mold are supporting. And wanna see establish and for Lebanon bell hasn't signed the tag because like last year he. Wants to be able to not show up through training. Camp if that's the case last, year signed, the tag about five days before, the season got started and plans to do the same this year and it's what they're gonna do, for the running back position the future is complicated because Lebanon Bell's not the perfect scenario in this because. He's missed dude injury he's missed time due to suspension it's not a it's not a perfect consistent sample size necessarily but he's been one of the most productive if not the most productive backs in the league my concern is what happens with him in the steelers and the steelers prepared to do with the rest of this ben rothlisberger window because if you don't sign levy on to a long term deal now i think you open it up to him not being a steeler when it comes time for the two thousand nine hundred and season to be played what does that say about the way you view your runway right now as far as getting back to winning a super bowl i in the bigger picture even from the steelers we still haven't set a new mark for running backs we have we just listed the name of guys down the road who are going to be coming up at some point and the highest right now has been devante freeman right correct i mean which is going to get blown away supposedly by these guys but we don't have the new mark yet pittsburgh certainly doesn't want to set a new mark but if they signed to a long term deal it's going to be a new mark so there's that looming out there as well who's going to set the mark and ward is it going to be for the future Running, back and levian is set one of the reasons he wants to do this is to set..
