"Ossoff end. Republican david perdue the other between democrat raphael. Warnock and republican. Kelly leffler these as we've been saying on this podcast are enormously important races. They will determine the balance of power in the senate chamber which means huge implications for how much of his agenda president elect. Joe biden might be able to enact and so joining us we have. Npr sarah mccamman. She is a georgia expert. She used to work for our member station in georgia. Hello sarah -at's right. I did and hello happy new year. Yes you too. It's great to talk to you again. so let's get right down to business both the president and the president-elect have been campaigning in the state recently what are the closing arguments here on both sides in both of these races so the big theme is what you were. Just talking about danielle. Just how high the stakes are here. How much significance. These two runoffs have not for georgia but for the whole country in atlanta biden. Yesterday said the power is literally in your hands. One st can chart the court not just for the next four years but for a generation president trump has also stressed during his rally. Here in dalton where i'm recording from. Today he was he was engulfed and last night he stressed the importance of republicans. Getting out the vote in huge numbers and reelecting those republican senators but he also spent a lot of time weaving in and out of talking about the senate runoff while also talking about his own grievances with republican elections officials. Here and the republican governor. Who have affirmed biden's win in georgia. Something he still does not accept and he continues to tout. These conspiracy theories debunked conspiracy theories about voter fraud. You know it's interesting that we have seen washington. Dc very focused on this race. It's really impacted the the politics here. For example some would argue that this recent wave of coronavirus relief aid was passed in part to boost these candidates that they both want to argue on both sides of the aisle that they help bring that through and is bringing it to voters in georgia. Meanwhile in terms of these national implications we're also seeing potential twenty twenty four candidates down there in the field trying to reach out to voters perhaps at the beginnings of their own aspirations of trying to run for president in two thousand twenty four well and one measure that kind of blew my mind although maybe it's not that shocking. When you think about it. Is that these. Two races are now the number one and number two most expensive senate races ever according to the center for responsive politics and on top of that just seems like everything about these races is huge. Turnout has already broken georgia's record for senate runoff turnouts. I mean sarah. What does that look like on. The ground isn't just being bombarded with ads. Phone calls that sort of thing constantly. Yeah that's my sense. I mean just driving down the highway. You see billboards everywhere. You see signs all over the place and of course as we've mentioned a lots of outside money. Hundreds of millions of dollars in ads have been spent on these races in from georgia and across the country. Lots of outside people so to speak Both grassroots organizers and volunteers and paid. Staffers you know the democrats have a huge ground game here. Republicans also have a lot of people canvassing at least in the past few days. Since i've been here both sides do realize just how significant these runoffs are and they're making their last big push. What issues seem to be at the center of the race here. What issues are the parties bringing up or maybe more pointedly. To what degree is this a race about the issues or is it just about nationalized politics is it all about trump biden. Senate control that sort of thing. I'd say it's much more the ladder. Just a little side note. There is a third run off election in georgia today. for public service commissioner and in that race people are talking about things like utility costs in georgia but in general in the two big races. Everyone's paying the most attention to the senate runoffs. It really is primarily about national politics and not just senate control but big issues facing the country like the coronavirus pandemic. i've heard a couple of voters. Democratic voters mentioned. That is a big concern over the weekend. In warner robins georgia. I met danielle goings. She works in healthcare. She's fifty five. She was added rally for warnock. And she said she's really motivated to elect these two democrats. Because.

"Be somebody who stands small room with weird background. Cameras talking together who played big brother than maybe yeah. Okay. I don't need to think about all of this. Jason Not only that. Taryn. I actually did a rewatch of big brother overly only a couple of years ago before re watching old shows was cool. Right now it's a thing and it's easy to do. But what did you go on Ebay and buy some WBZ on CBS. All excess. Okay. They did have it there couple years back when you this okay. Okay. Good. It's a whole lot easier. Now people say how do I how do I watch it because I know after our season they did release it on DVD yeah. Big Brother three, and maybe they did some other DVD steph maybe with four but I think it was shelved for a decade. You couldn't. You couldn't really find it unless you bought an Ebay. And there were the actual dvd sets that came out. So you've got all thirty something episode, thirty hours of Big Brother from season three, but there were bootleg copies to people. And these. They recorded it and it was it was it was impressive that they did this. But yeah, there were. It was something and so people couldn't really see it, and now it's especially in the summer when big brother is about to begin people subscribe to the feeds and they start watching old seasons and so I'll get all this love from people go. Hey, I was four when your season aired but I've been watching big brother for the past eight years and now I went back and watched season three and it was so cool and you Danielle had such a great bond. It means a lot. It really does still after all these years to hear people enjoying our season. Jason, could you tell us what are you in Danielle up to that and I know that there was a lot of buzz in the preseason about. Is Danielle going to beyond this season? A lot of people like she was she was. Denying on twitter she was and no one even people from our season rob would believe her she said Tags. I'm not going and she would email or text somebody from our season. They're like, nope, that was just that was too short of a text message Danny's not sending that it must be someone from production who has her cell phone and she called me and we would talk and we were joking about all this stuff. And it was Thursday night before the season began on maybe a Wednesday night big brother twenty two and we talked who do you think will be on Oh, I bet it's this person that person and she had had received calls from former house guests. So you knew there was some pre gaming happening. So it was also that one seems like that person might be audited a and she just couldn't couldn't do it right now. Because of the timing for her life from cheese a grandma these days but she has a really great job in the San Francisco Bay area and it just it just didn't make sense it personally for her but it also didn't make sense financially because she's just a good place and you don't want to lose that job and. I didn't get the call I didn't get a call for Big Brother Season Twenty, two, the first all stars whenever that was I did get a call where they reach out. I heard Rob Yoon Matt. We're talking about we're email or that phone call like, Hey, just checking you're on the tier to email in. Two. Thousand six. Checking in yeah, I will say the one of the show. Executive producers she was a producer back in the day on our season big three. But consistently every year on my birthday every year on my mom's birthday every year my dad's birthday she sends an email and checks in. So it wouldn't have been strange if it had come from her and now she's one of the executive. Bruce. Shaw laws. It wouldn't have been a strange thing to have heard from Sean bean get some random person who's like I don't even in production what are you up to? I was just honored to get ask and that would have been back in. Two thousand five somewhere in there and I just started in this TV news career that I'm doing now and I was like I just I just kind of landed on a career I flip floated around for a good bit of time in my twenties playing big brother and then living out in La doing reality show casting and all and so it was like I gotta get a real job. Yeah and so because I was doing doing that I said, this is a good time in life and so I passed on it and it would have been fun because Danielle showed up there but she wouldn't tell me then that. Could do all star. So we couldn't even pre-game delights nine. Oh. Walked in there and would have been rock solid but daddy didn't tell me and we were at Amy's wedding not long before like you gotta be kidding me when the show came on I was like I just I was just with her. But she takes those. A. The as the nondisclosure agreements very seriously. Seriously you know there's A lot of money online is. Shut that's. How she does. Play this game too and that's why she's so good and and why I love doing this podcast with her to talk about twenty two because she had some good insight. Would you have played if they had asked for season two, thousand two, I can't do it. I got a little kids were doing distance learning. It's like my hands are are more soul than they've ever been. With just with life and being a dad, it's like they made fun of Memphis like. This guy like GRANDPA here. Three now I, play Big Brother and twenty five. That is your prime bb playing age else most of our season was made up of people in their early to mid twenties and you start getting people a little bit and like Danielle was a little bit older and it's just it's just a difficult game and it's it's more difficult as you age. It's like you know like a basketball player like you're in your prime in that time you know that's your NBA and your career is over you hit thirty it's done. Well, I know you must have the NBA on the mind because you are set up in Orlando that they're all here they're all all the teams in the bubble. We ounce around the lot. So let let's just. Real quick that to catch people up who may not know you are on the news in Orlando can you just catch the listeners up on what you do in Your Day job? Yes. So Right, about the time, the first all-star season happened, I'd gotten a job to be a traffic reporter and and honestly not winning big brother turned into a really good thing for me..

"Right well the other. Part that I remember from the show is when there was that moment, which was like the first time I think they actually have like a real reunion because I don't think they really did it with OC and it was. They come back and. What you, what family, so where did? Like? Okay, I though that was the whole thing with the book you know. And that was sort of exaggerated of coup brought the book from the library, or someone brought it to the hair salon. That whole thing, but. Basically according to Dina. More like the producers Kinda was like you need to bring it, Caroline. This is like boring. Something needs to happen. And then she felt Carolina made a bigger deal out of this whole thing with the Danielle and the daughter in the dad, and apparently there was just more like a conversation between. The Dad it wasn't that big of a deal was with her, not being on the show, not being the show, and it was almost like DNA had no issue with Danielle going into the reunion and was like. Hey, by the way, don't bring it up. Caroline like we're good on this like don't and then as the eight hours went on Yeah Carolina I. Don't know if someone put it in her head or she felt she needed to like. amp it up because she knew how much love she got when she was like with the. Don't talk with my family I think. She felt like she had to come with it and all. Dina was like with the fuck. Is this like what? But when she talked about how she moved in with her and they'd had this great. Fun Time as the kids were little, and the boys were little and. It was sad that they were no longer friends, but I don't talk to one of my sisters so I'm never I'm never going to judge? I'm never going to be like blood is thicker. What talked to my dad? There's nothing wrong with it like your life, so you can wake up every day. Have drama, and so, but now you're like oh wait. There was this whole other level where where maybe she felt she wasn't this bad marriage, and they were protecting or or again. Maybe I'll think doesn't like Tommy. Maybe he's like he's a fucking Dick. I can't believe he did. They're probably horrified. I don't think they like Hey Tommy by the way. But my other argument would be like if you work at the Brownstone, aren't you're wondering why the three hundred and thirty person wedding was only ten grand instead of four hundred fifty ground, yeah. Whatever I mean, you know because I'm sure if Tommy and Alfie don't get along. He's not going to be like Yo, I'm gonNA. Give my homie like the big discount, and he's like no yeah tra-, but I think I. I think they were not and I. Think she said a million times she wanted to protect protect. Lexi was like in the very beginning daughter was like maybe in high school. Thirteen when the cat was wrinkly cat talks and she was no talk. Yeah, and a little known, she was like a little cute thing. Yeah, and she wanted to protect her and yeah. Wow and now makes me think one is the Kim. Kardashian tied up for higher gonNA come out. Because that was after that I think that was twenty success. Recent, yeah. That's gotta be. That's never been. You know really proven who did that, right? Yes, and since you said it takes a couple years, the clocks tick in. We need to find out who hog tied her in Paris. I'm dying. You think there's more to it than just being like professional. Peres like burglars all. We Know Kim Calcio. He's saying the hotel. Let me move layover. Bag It we're going to get. The. Street! Sabotage A. Giant drop a big time. Literally like a giant Hewlett Canary Doing. Come on yeah. It's it's literally like they were. You know an organized crime syndicate I. Think they were hired like you said I. think that makes me. I want to go over this. Because this we're on. Kurt ashes really quick. This was kind of this is a good thing. ROB is out of the house. He looked happy and he attended. Khloe Day! He looks really happy. Right there and I think that makes the family really happy. I'm glad he's out I. Live very close to block China's house. We'll also these are. These are I mean the amount of insider's scoop you probably I don't have that much of looked in the medicine cabinet. Card. I never did and now I definitely not hang out. I'm actually closer to black China passer. House all the time a ride by it. We look at the cars. I see if she's doing only fan shoots in the backyard. which she does his car there ever. I don't know what his car is I? mean. There's always like five really nice cars, really expensive cars and I ain't never seen her like pushing the babies or anything not that she doesn't, but I haven't been there by that time. We thought he was going to be now. You told us and of course Julie's head exploded because she lives for the Rob Update, K looks for him. We watched Kardashians. All she's doing. Is that up? Why in here? Where's he walks by? But now he has lost weight. Loss weight. We did want him to be I was looking for Oh dancing with the stars rob well when it says like because on the Click Bait was like explosive weight loss from Rob Kardashian or whatever it's like Oh my God. He's going to be skinny and I'll fit the way he used to be. And then it was like because he's good look, he's good looking, and he's you know, but he's. He's in transition I. Think I think he's starting his weight loss journey has begun. He's like I. think that he's whatever he's addicted to. He's working through it and he's clearly on the other side of or not the other side. He's on the. End I hope so I think. That took him. Obviously extreme fame, and you know not being with the right girl then going with the wrong girl than. Living in that house with Lamar and I, think they really bad for each other. All this you know, and then you know, and then what can you do? But I saw that was good that he went out was great. Yeah, we're stoked that he's going to start coming in. Yeah like I hope. And he starts to get his. You know I can't imagine what it's like to be the one boy in a family of all, not they're not just women there, yeah! They're. The thirstiest women I mean you're. You're dealing with women. Who are how do you even who am I? How am I right? Hand? Man Can even compare or be enough for any of these people, so I would imagine. He suffered a lot of mental and lost to dad him at a very like he was the youngest one, so he was only like fifteen. Yup, and so good good for him, but I noticed is really hard to lose weight. If you're like on any of your, an opioid like nightmare, awful allegedly, so that makes me think if he's like pass bat. Say like he's what he's clearly like with I mean. He was dealing with some sort of drug addiction. We think yeah, that's that's good news. Utah had personal juicy story about the views. Megan McCain. Guys know this. A lot of people don't know this, but she is the daughter. Of John McCain. John My father, my father? My father is Senator John McCain. Oh, he was yes. I am a conservative an on the view and my father was bollock. Have you seen that wonderful montage for over five minutes of my father, my father, my father. Yes, I have I've watched it several times. And then it doesn't end with joy, Behar being like. I'm the daughter of whatever. Whatever. Josephine And I was like Oh. My God I. It's it's it's she's. Okay, so, what's the story? Okay? Where do we begin? Basically you knew when she said you were at my wedding, Denise. Did you ever know that? So wait, denise who? I do remember this, but denise who? She was just some kind of like writer or Guest guest on the panel or she just commented like these the view like what are basically the viewed like they need to stop their bunch of like chattering chickens..

"One hundred and we might exterior Elvis Duran and the morning show. Hey thanks again Shawn Mendez excellent. It was great talking to him his new album on the way of course Chris you can see him on Saturday night. Live with Adam Sandler tomorrow night. Also Danielle would you have coming up. We're GonNa talk about Kelly Clarkson she performed she was at the billboard music awards she was in pain. And I'll tell you why okay. So here's why Chelsea handler isn't here. She's on the phone well here. Let's get her on the phone. We'll explain we'll talk to you here on the phone them there but on the phone. Okay but the reason why you didn't come in is because last time you were here are Guy Great. T stripped down and the waiving his little wiener. Remember that that was. Yeah Yeah that would I thought yes. I remember that and that is not there. I'm a blame you. He's hung like a pancake the beginning if that was the beginning of the that was during the metoo movement so he had no business taking his grip on. I cannot agree timing. Yeah Yeah I mean walking around with this little dingle buried. That was rough for me. You know unlike things like that in the morning in this day and age when we have to take care of ourselves and our mental health intact. We don't need to see things like that by the way life life we definitely is on my audible. It's it I'm going to be listening to an on an an airplane in thirty minutes. I can't wait maybe now in thirty minutes right but you also have life will be the podcast coming out we we yeah. We decided to turn my tour into a podcast. We'll have you done a podcast before I don't think so you don't think so. I mean I've been on them but I don't have my I have. I've never done my own. podcast doing a podcast. Kind of what we do you get to sit there and just be yourself herself to your show do a show basically. It's it's you without hair and makeup without really is the drawer pajamas. And it doesn't matter not even offer so I meant to say I meant to say draw but for some reason I said drawers and say is the Draw D. R. A. W.. Yeah I don't WanNa be inherent makeup. I like that aspect of things and also after with the response from the book and everyone you know that I've gotten I figured it would be a great way to kind of continue it. The conversation And so and have you know all of my. It's just a natural thing to do. I guess for a second when you when you did the narration. Ration- for The book yeah is it easy to do. I mean you've done several of them now. I mean I've got to do one soon and I'm terrified. You Bet you couldn't have. You could have done mind for me here you do. Yours makes makes sense but I. I don't know how to do it. I am terrified of it. Well it's your stuff and you wrote your book right. Yes so then. You should be fine. If you're you're it's easier than you think it's your own story and you can talk your radio show so you have nothing to worry about. I mean is it okay to just ad-lib everyone or does it have to be word for word. Exactly what's in the book. No I like to add live. I like to be like Oh you know because that's how people no I hate reading a script. I I don't like reading off the page but for me. This book was just so personal that I had to read it and and I got really emotional at times when I got you know and then at times I was laughing but people really responded to it so. I'm so glad I did it. Because it used to be an exercise. I hated for all my books recording and being alone with my own voice you know I find myself incredibly annoying so this time around I was able to actually do it and be like you know really like I was into it so this book is different for me but I think for you like when you go in and do it you just get into your rhythm it takes a minute and then once you figure it out you'll be fine. Why no but you? You made a good point. This book is different because it's a very personal thing in Chelsea handler. By the way it's turning US onto book is life will be the death of me. You're actually talking about there. You Go You're talking about your own mental health and try and figuring out your your your journey and everything so reading reading that to yourself. You're living it again and I guess it's a good thing right. Talk more about the book. Well I don't I mean you know. Everyone keeps talking about it with mental health. And it's so funny because clearly clearly. That's not what I do. I wrote a book. I thought I wrote a book about my brother. Dying and what they and pink impact that had on me in my whole life and my trajectory and my and my I story because you know I thought I thought the two unrelated. It's like I thought my life was completely unrelated to the fact that my brother died when I was nine years old and until I saw a psychiatrist in in my forties who explained to me that my whole behavior and You know my whole attitude towards everything towards commitment towards jobs towards working towards men towards women is based on on. My brother died when I was nine years old and I never connected the dots. My my lack of lack of patience my kind of shutting people down if they pissed me off out of my life like scorched earth. Never talked to that person again. I don't trust him. I don't trust that person. I don't trust that person and finally a doctor was like when I explained all this to him he said well. That's how you think relationships end your brother told you he was coming back and he never came back and when you enter relationship. That's your blueprint. You think people are here today and then they're gone tomorrow and you never you think about them again and he goes then you probably don't Miss Anybody either and I'm like no because you won't allow yourself to mess anyone that would be below normal. I learned a lot about myself and I learned when I didn't realize was how you know I thought I was telling my story and I'm based you know what I've learned from the feedback and the response from people is that I'm telling all of are stories. We're all going through something. We've all had trauma adopt the human experience. You don't get to go through life without hiccups so it's just a matter of doing the work working like figuring out you know being self aware. I'm so self aware now and I'm so grateful because now I'm just in a better place all around. I just didn't happier you know and it's just I pay the attention more. I'm not on my phone as much. You know all of the things that you don't WanNa you know all the bad habits I wanted to get out of. were part of a bigger issue and it's so easy to make new habits and we all have the thing in common where we don't connect the dots stuff that happened to us when we were kids. Now are the reason we are the way we think about it. But it's a great exercise to go through and sometimes you find out the hard way and that's even worse but look life will be the death of me. The podcast is a little more of like your stuff on stage right. I mean how different Willie what I've been doing is I'm doing this tour around the country. Right now we're we're about to add more cities so We and I have a different person interview me in each city and then so we're putting that together and then I'm GonNa have my psychiatrist Dad. Who's you know pretty much? The whole book is He's in it she's GonNa come on for a couple of episodes. My best friend. Mary sorry just because people are asking so many questions and so many people are talking about therapy. And so I'd love to just like explain it further so that maybe we can you know help even more people because I obviously obviously therapies expensive and so we just want to I want to do that and obviously I wanNA have fun and be silly and stupid because that's really the basis of of of what you know Naacp everything more enjoyable right what we love you. We love when when you're silly and stupid. That's our favorite Chelsea and by the way a taste is came in and said someone's driving and listen to this. I just had to pull pull over. Chelsea is saying something so powerful. I've lost a lot of people in a similar manner to her. It all makes sense. He's really my gratitude to her for sharing that that it's all live happening. I love you. You got the phone because his shelves figure herself out in two seconds if she if she responds to what I'm saying because so many people are like there's so many of us are get so mad at people and you know you're either a conflict avoid or your conflict aggressor I'm an aggressor conflict. I'm like bring it bring it. You know and I run for quality quality either so like you have to figure out what your issues are all right Chelsea handler. Of course the PODCAST. The book is life will be the death of me. The podcast is life will be the death of me. It debuts on the IHEART podcast network on May Twenty Third Chelsea thank you so much we do appreciate it and have a great day okay. it's not a great day anyone's penis. It was great. Thank okay thanks for your good. We could buy Chelsea handler. Let's get into the Daniel report. "About perspective movie buddies got their issues everybody's got their triggers everybody's angry about something but life is all about perspective I'm gonna get to that story here momentarily this is it folks this is the last Bernie and sit show until after Labor Day now they'll be shows next week I mean I I've heard that chorus in Juliet they're gonna be pulling in once or twice for us during that rewound radio stuff that's right is put down a birdie his last day was yesterday so while folks on the left and folks down the middle love the Friday show the trump crazies out there they will start to any second now go on Facebook and type I'm is Bernie but on this is that you get me again it's been this way all summer on Fridays we got a great show planned for today great show for unbelievable guess we've got giveaways and cash and all kinds of controversial topics that you will enjoy a promise but this is it with a burning inside show no I will come back on Sunday and hosted sports Sunday we got a big show coming up Mike Tannenbaum the former vice president of the jets and the dolphins will be there Brian Kelly from the MLB network will be there amongst others what does for Bernie and said this is it till Tuesday September what what's that date that September third two days before school starts I can't believe it or any of my kids to the same thing Thursday September fifth in our vacation starts his go back yeah you're right I don't like when they go back to school because the homework we have to help well that is a pain in the **** I hate when they go well that's only if you actually do it I I I you do that I actually do that a lot of my friends who all fathers I got news for you not sitting down before dinner at five o'clock helping their kids with their homework I do yeah and you won't regret that's it no I don't look back and you feel like I I was a good day yeah your race or something gable get going got go head to head with the sword after all yeah he's always had already more than once but I am gonna miss hanging out with him like for example yesterday the show one didn't I one home every day after the show went to like take a be up a luncheon we'll take a walk up and down Broadway I went to the park yesterday for two hours and it always taking fencing down we take into that once a week I take him to karate once a week I took him to swimming a couple of weeks ago so we do a lot of stuff together him and I think fencing yes really yeah yeah this is actually a guy his name is Tim Morehouse who won the silver medal in the Olympics about twenty years ago of the United States who owns these fencing studios in New York I believe this one in Westchester Porchester excuse me that one where we live in Manhattan and Gaby second that up now that doesn't hurt when they I always wondered without a real sword no this picture like Errol Flynn with that with the other sort not bad so we spent an awful lot of time together and I'm gonna I'm gonna miss him when he goes back to school but there is something to be said about the regiment of getting back right I hate the regiment yeah I hate it I have really do I just hate the homework the constant have to remind them to do the projects and remember to hand in your report and and do you know about three of them are just the youngest ones I help my girls are jackets for super smart but my daughter ava last night at dinner was already bemoaning school had quick shout out to my good buddy the champ himself will ease so all the way to Jim in New Jersey is a big time boxing trainer and big time monsters in the hall of fame axes listening as he does every morning so good morning little so we're having dinner at a Mexican restaurant last night and and he was in a terrible mood well there's nothing noted that it will could be anything not just goalie were able to be in a pet can be anything but it did turn out that yesterday was the last day of tennis camp also she loves and that's good she hated tennis camp she didn't want to go why he hated the people hate me it's open hall of global yes he was crying because tennis camp is over I'll try the less they can't yes same thing but she hated this a month ago and now now to Saudi bemoaning school she's a sophomore in high school this year a lot of pressure from the high school can count please pressure now stop stop what you're the top whenever you stop stop stop the pressure was getting up at four o'clock in the morning hopping on a train doing a four hour show everybody in the mother criticizes you and then warning at the end of the month that some guys are going to buy a radio station and fire you and the price was keeping the lights on in your appointment paying your kids to wishin that's pressure on on on on us I'm not sure that's easy enough that they think are you sell a kidney that's all you got to him no but we we want to shield our kids that's how I feel I know I don't feel that way I I give it again perspective and I'll give you the story about that right now but I I tried to explain David these of the good times man this is nothing this is nothing real pressure is like I just said providing for a family Danielle going to work every morning sitting in in courthouses from Brooklyn to Manhattan to queens sitting in depositions for nine hours a day that's pressure you know getting an eighty four biologie school give me a break now try to yell at our last night of course I was the bad guy but that's fine but you know you talk about perspective so I live in this very fancy Upper West Side building complained about this deal with you and Bernie about a thousand times already I've been living there since last may so it's been now fourteen months now and I live on the fourteenth floor but just so you guys know what the fifteen storey building but the fourteenth each each job for house two stairwells so I live on the fourteenth floor that means if I was to walk up or down it would be twenty eight stairwells is thirty four I don't believe there is one of the twenty six okay errors are already exaggerating no one on the fourteenth floor you moron out once he comes to was twenty eight most buildings for said it it's it's super session with the architect they don't put a third what you want I don't know we have you know I really haven't checked that to be honest but is twenty eight floors so while I'm thing never works and you know it's one thing for me and walking up of course is much more difficult than walking down but a lot of really old people not building the Upper West Side where I live is basically old people it's it's people I make this joke all the time is it there's a guy in my directory who was on both Craig's list and Schindler's list because like ninety with my whole building like ninety year old too so they have to walk up they they don't they can't an opposite we capable how they get the the lobby and wait to the guys come and fix the elevator sometimes a duty that pants I'm not kidding P. in their pants the guy that you five but the carry them up is that now well no but I got to carry up to their role laundry once in a while I don't have to but I hope I I carry up the groceries out one three it is unbelievable I'm spending a fortune and this this call because of this this up the landlord among the older I get to the building this mother effort he everything breaks he doesn't know anything so sure not this morning I walk outside my appointment you want the specifics it was four twenty four AM and I live about my door is about five feet away from the elevator and I make my way towards the elevator and I don't see any numbers okay digital numbers on the outs on on on on on this campus so sure enough I check my emails what they do is it really very very good at this they send you an email passenger elevator out and showing off at nine twenty seven PM last night I got that email well now it's you're talking about seven hours later seven hours get somebody there overnight and fix it should be a crime it is I I totally agree with these landlords I swear they should really be a crime so I get if I told you the amount of money I spend you would Jill and you watch I know this is sticking his stomach even Bernie was like all my three times I have a house in Boca Raton well I live for a long time I still own it it's got a P. it's got two stories it's got a two car garage it is gorgeous on a point a body of water don't you miss it having just missed that and it's one third what I pay in New York City for about twenty times his size anyone you need to get out of the city first of all I can go back to Florida no you got to move to the suburbs a good idea I'm not gonna do that my wife works in New York I work in New York my kids go to school in New York what I actually makes sense but I do miss some and I moved to New Jersey tomorrow what I'm nothing against one hello but I'm a I like Bergen county but make a long story short I gotta walk down how the of the other the broken accountable down twenty eight flights you know it's like four thirty in the morning I'm still not fully awake yet and grabbed his favor but they still think I have my morning erection to be completely honest so I get down to the bottom of the stairs and I see the poor dormant he's done nothing wrong this poll by study shows down I'm I start cursing at the guy and I think to myself I go I'm sorry it's not you'll all put into this anymore it's ridiculous well I called them and then I waited all night long that was shown up I get into a cab there's no call Arthur I Dow and sued actually call quality Celtic no he's involved in we'll write eight will be here to pick up his on his I'm drop by the way but I'm in the computer is coming at eight thirty thanks yeah nine out the call him he he owns commercial properties and he's aware of my building owner is a go this guy's a disaster he told me and and yell so I don't know these people that's not my business but in the business this guy it is well known I get into the cab because now I'm tired I'm not gonna walk anymore I get into the cab and I click on the New York Post news of the morning and the times story is isn't that terrible story this poor guy Weiss brand thirty years old moved here from the walkie living in a luxury apartment in kips bay on twenty fifth and third is are trying to get out of the elevator yesterday moments before he gets crossed but if you buy the New York Post you're going to see a very graphic picture on the front page you actually see his hands coming out of the elevator and his knees at the very base literally seconds before this guy was crushed to death I read this quote from his dad he moved to fumble walkie had a million friends everybody love this handsome guy by the way I did about his body was elevator scare me they do well so that's what I'm talking about perspective so here I am mother tempering this guy open down put twenty minutes angry eyes if somebody hit my kid and then as soon as I got to the camp the first story I see it wasn't where this last night guy gets crushed in a elevator Roddick it my whole morning was anger over elevators and some beautiful nice young guy died in an elevator yesterday so maybe maybe it was a good thing that my elevator didn't work this morning before who knows the government something tragic with me no not at all is still broken is the anger gonna come back of.

"He said I gotta tell ya I love your staff I loved everyone that I met is because everybody year and a half and he says what a relief it is to finally get all the tax returns done and I will tell you it was a messy time consuming involve file with multiple members of the levee staff trying to get everything compiled go back and forth with questions it was just a real long involved process we got it done and I called about a blue that dinner actually locally in Boca and I said I'll go in and he just was so appreciative to have that face to face so we'd like to face to face if your local we want you to come in and the gentleman who got the five thousand four hundred dollars hello to the data he's local we want you to come on and we want you to shake hands we want you to be there we are about half a mile south Linton on the east side of the street two eight eight one south federal highway were right across from the Toyota building we are right next to enterprise rent a car if you have an IRS issue the levee team is incredible we have a deep bench we talk about the places I know nothing about sports but in our defense we have two former IRS revenue officers Greg we have clear coffee with and have our great staff of power of attorneys we have Danielle we have beyond because we have now three other enrolled agents we have Laura we have mark we have Dan and Dave Cropper lead CPA who's been here going on now his eleven year Danielle going on her eleventh year we just have a great team a great support staff our admin staff is incredible our receptionist which I really love that difference name I actually did name something other titles and receptionist director of first impressions Greg high like that one yeah that's like in military speak when you talk about a call hammer but your military contractor selling one to the military caller impact resistance actuator that we could charge fifty five how dollars for call hammer I don't even know what that means but I'm just happy that I came up with director first impressions of to actually borrowed that from a buddy of mine who created that in his office we have a really great staff if you have an IRS issue and you haven't filed give us a call we deal in the civil tax controversy world not in the criminal investigations world thank god we don't see it all too often once in a Blue Moon but we have to pass on those were for those out but if you are in the middle of an audit whether it's a sales tax audit for Florida that's been coming up quite a bit lately whether you are in the middle of an IRS exam whether you are getting locked the door by a local I. arrest revenue officer locally to this listening audience it would be west palm it would be plantation of of pine island and five ninety five or would be the Miami office primarily listen listen to this on on the podcast you're streaming in but the solutions exist and often times the IRS doesn't give you all the options because that's not their job to give you the option that I want to finish out the show with an example and Greg I talk to you about earlier this week I just wanna make sure that we we had this right a nice guy with a very nice CPA calls on Wednesday morning at about nine o'clock in the morning he said Hey lords sort of a guy that I knew to a friend of a friend of a friend he says you're not gonna believe it I'm here my CPA's office you're on speaker phone and it got a bit of an IRS issue twenty five thousand dollars the business does the combination of some payroll taxes and also to see Corp so there's some corporate income tax he said they try to talk to the revenue officer the revenue officer said you need to pay ten thousand dollars down to business and then I'll put you into a twenty four month payment plan so what if I can't afford that what are my other options enough if you don't do that we're gonna issue leans we're gonna issue levees and that's the only way this can play is if you give ten thousand dollars down so the CPA was a really nice guy and the client they try to do their best to try and say well who can we talk to what if we paid three thousand a month for eight months or so can you give us a break on the penalties can you do this can you do that and he says well I need to talk to my manager well that's not how it works either so that's just a nonsense stalling B. S. line is the way I'll call it you agree rag you don't have to tell you right so finally that's all that is so after we took the time to educate the clients the new client now and the CPA who's a really nice guy and knows of us he says you know I just can't believe that I arrest which is do that to us I don't know what the rules are I don't know what I should say what I should say and of course here's this client and I mean this guy is as polite as it gets to the nice guy and we all business rented some cash flow and a twenty five thousand dollar liability and the revenue officer who we know is a experience revenue officer so for this particular revenue officer to not say your options are you can go into a twenty four month installment agreement a payment plan you don't have to pay ten thousand dollars down and you don't have to be threatened with the levees these are your options they just didn't know and the penalty abatement LA que give me a break on two thousand a penalty let me ask the manager that again for lack of a better term that'd be S. comment is what that is quite frankly and it's not right so after a forty five minute explanation with the CPA and with the client they just were they were shocked I would say the CPA was more florid in shock then the client was because he just can't believe that the IRS would be soul one of the key the right word but social work well I I'm not even sure hard court just basically not straightforward and I'm trying to be polite about billion describing this if you have run into any of these issues you wanna have representation the levee offices been around over twenty years were the best in the business we have the most experience with the largest family owned tax resolution firms in the country and we care we care probably to an extreme about the clients and you have such a tremendous amount of experience because of the composite makeup of the power of attorney team the former IRS revenue officers I lied CPA Dave crop three enrolled agents that we have Bianca Danielle the attorneys to fox's Palmer tourney's we have a fantastic team that will take care of your needs if you have an IRS issue we're local were the best give us a call five six one eight six five seventy eight hundred four toll free eight hundred tax levy and we gotta create that new tagline the delivery team always has your back but the classic ones that we've had for years and years and years our goal here a levy you hire a levy and remember you always want to levy on your side one against you we have an IRS issue is resolvable it is fixable you just need to know how to navigate through.

"Stake. Patriots another chapter to their legacy. I could not believe. So what was the name of the guy again, a K? Remember, the oddsmaker we talked to one Friday and he's talking about just coming off radio row. And he's talking about. Oh, it's like sixty five percent right now pats fans in the crowd walking around Atlanta translate to the game, right? They'd have some kind of advantage inside. They're saying over ninety percent. It was like it was a home game. Even Tom Brady at the end when he was thanking everybody he he made mention of this was like playing at home. Shocked that was like what? And then just the thunderous applause when he said that I went oh my God. Proud of our team. I'm going to support here tonight was like a home game. We could have been a Gillette stadium. Thank god. God did that come in handy. Sleep. I noticed. Okay. So if you don't follow Bill on Facebook, or it's Graham, and and I apologize. If you don't because it's funny, but you went out good. God knows what time was that. In your very peaceful, Hebrew and set off fireworks in your backyard. And I could hear I don't know if it was coli or Danielle going gang. Your neighbors. It only happens every couple of years. Oh that was funny. I think the best thing was with the Red Sox tweeted. Oh, that's right. The ninety nine day championship. Drought is over. It's funny. I was good for you can catch up on all that crap. But apparently, I just got my credit card statement this morning apparently at some point in the night. I ordered a championship package. What the hell is I'll find out later it caused over a hundred bucks. So I'm hoping is a t shirt. You know, you're hoping you're stupid you? Don't order something. Stupid like coasters. You do know that by tomorrow morning. Ricky bill's going to have on a new Super Bowl fifty three championship win Tushar. There's no guarantees. It might be like napkins. I don't know. All I do. I click checkout, take it. What were you just so psyched? Just go buy it every delirious. Okay. Oh idea that was the most stressful. Okay. This is this is a little like it sounds like a gambling kind of thing. But the again going back to the oddsmaker we had on the blink. Every game. The patriots played in like in. This era has been a one score difference law a loss or a win right right in this game, which seemed to have no scoring here's one they had a to score advantage. Unbelievably we had basically no offense. And this was the one where they had a to score advantage in the end the kid missed field goal. I I don't know how how much money was lost in the first quarter being zero zero. I don't know. There was a I know with Gladys Knight's national, and there was all kinds of controversy. Well, if if if you listen to the end of the song, do do we ever singing, it we have someone at the end of the song and the home of the brave. She said brave twice. All right now, if you ended at the first brave it came in a minute forty nine which was the under his a minute fifty. And if it went if he included the second brave it went to two minutes in like, five seconds. So there was an online betting company. Right. Kind of like saying now it was over at the first brave, and they got so much backlash. So they had to pay out for the over because dental Gladys has done. So she's not singing, it's not done. Of course. That's what happened. But I was like how can there be controversy was the greatest national anthem. And we came to the conclusion what you said what second I in my opinion. I think it was the second greatest national anthem ever. Yeah. Whitney, Houston, obviously was number one number one. But this was I thought that was I thought Gladys was amazing. She did great. How old is Gladys? She's up. She look great to your shoes. I love your shoe shit club. Ted boots are good looking good. We got gladys's national anthem which was an Alzheimer and some politics to talk about what's up this guy in Virginia. He needs to go. I say it's payback for his nasty comments. Probably it's coming up.

"It was just incredible. I mean, it was just a great vibe, lots of music to everything. And I got to interview some people I'd never interviewed before like, Vince, Staples. When when I ever interviewed staple he was he was such an interesting guy. He actually told you can fight it in a mutual friend of ours later, the he he enjoyed our interview in he and I have nothing in common whatsoever. But we had a great interview our buddy Gary v was there. He had so many fans lining up to say thank you for saving their lives. My most fascinating interview, in my opinion with Steve yoki, Steve Ilke was or I o key wherever you say it did he did. He didn't take me. I tell you something interesting. I had Alex taking pictures with my phone, and he took a picture of me interviewing Stephen A. Okay. And then he posted on Instagram, and he said. Alex. I love him. He's so cute. He typed out. Hey, why didn't you pie me? Went back and said, no, no said, no, Alex. It's cake pie. People were screaming at me. It's. Good. By Steve AO ki-. Well, see I'm jealous kicked in West Palm Sunfast. It was pretty awesome. Yeah. Why didn't you Boston cream pie me? Anyway. While I was there who's fascinating GE's. Oh god. Oh, wow. That gandhi. Thank you Ghandi. Favorites. Yes. So G eazy. Was there Wally was there? And of course, I interviewed one of my favorite shifts and entertaining, entertaining, guys action Bronson. He has cooking show over on vice where he's just all trashed up. But he he makes the best food. He makes the best food. And he was he was smoking his blunt on the stage while I was interviewing and he threw it right in front of me. Like one of us supposed to do not do any route. So I you know, whatever we had a great time. We were out there on behalf of this new show that we're trying to get off the ground called twelve on twelve what I will do is. I will ask a celebrity in an interview all about their live was what the rub to and what are the twelve most influential songs in their life songs that came around when they needed them or when they were in at a bad intersection or whatever the songs that are part of their history in. It's really a great idea at the end of the interview, I hand them beautiful piece of vinyl with the twelve songs on it. They can. I think e or MTV one should pick that up probably think more Netflix, whoever wants grabs. People songs. I love that stuff. I wanna like I even want to know from you guys at some point like what your songs would be feel like you. Learn a lot about people from Ellie Ellie Goldens on the way Gandhi. And when she's here we have to ask her about that one pivotal song in her life. So make sure we have it ready to do that. All right with that said, that's why I was at complex. But if you have an opportunity to your four next year, I highly recommend it. It was just awesome. All right. Let's get into Daniel report. Danielle. Going on BBC news reported, according to documentation, it observed the fork land avatar sequels, maybe titled as follows I have tar the way of water have tar the seed bear avatar, the token writer and advertised the quest for a or e walk okay on. Yeah. E Y W A. So there you go. If you're an avatar fan who knows this could be these could be the post Malone's crocs sold out in ten minutes. Lord, ten minutes, but more coming into Semper. Thank goodness. Because my son is dying pair, and I'm not paying four hundred five hundred dollars pair crocks. And especially when my kids feed still growing. Yeah. Any day now. So, but he wants them. So gotta get those pose Malone's the type of guy if you've run into him and ask him for the crocs just give them to you on the show hit them up. Did he jumped out of an airplane for his forty ninth birthday? And where did he land in the backyard of the playboy minutes? Convenient. Would it be accidentally landed at the Brady bunch house? God there's tiger. Oh, can you hear?.

"Rising factor tumbleweeds giant cockroaches well a group, of artists and scientists in Santa Cruz have a different vision and they're starting to prepare for it to find out how cake you Danielle Vinton and Chloe. Veldman, visited. The UC Santa. Cruz, arboretum oh wow here we are yeah we're looking at three white Dungs here in the middle. Of the botanical garden there, geodesic domes they're kind of. Buckminster fuller like this is future garden. It's a new art and science installation, they're sixteen different species of plants here. And there are basically going to exceleron they're going to move them through time and. See how they respond. To climate change No Danielle Danielle. Going we're here with Martin. Quigley the executive director of the him and he is about to show us what is one of these three? Times what are we looking at? Monte, well we're looking at a rather garden esque layout here because we're displaying this to the. Public we've mixed them in a way that they might be done in a private. Garden so what were these sixteen species? Chosen. Four, well we obviously looked at hundreds and hundreds of. Species, I the things that would look attractive to a casual visitor who isn't necessarily as interested in. Science the other was our previous knowledge of what species are here and what could we predict would happen with. Them so we didn't wanna start from complete ignorance and try a bunch of plants that we knew nothing. About can you name some of the specific? Types. Yes we have, carrots which is a judge and that is native to the coastal. Prairies we have Yarrow Which must, people know from gardens but this is the native euro it's quite nice of we have what's that grasses of? This one is special this is? A, Dudley and these are succulents they grow only in certain spots along the California coast from. Baja to about humble are any of these plants edible all of them have some. At a ball characteristic or other or? At. Least, some ethnic botanical use smells this when this is. Quite, aromatic and that will give you a little indication of medicinal properties a lot of the antibiotic. Characteristics are because of these finale that make them smell nice and this actually smells like tarragon it smells great. This one definitely you could eat eat raw herbal exactly well so let's talk about the experimental setup you. Guys are going to keep this about five? Degrees. Fahrenheit or so, warmer than the surroundings right there one of the houses will be. A warming scenario REO and that means in general will keep the interior temperature warmer than the outside during the daytime but in addition. Because climate change isn't just about. A gradual steady increase in temperature it also? Has to do with extreme weather. Events so we're seeing hurricanes and floods and. Other parts of the country here we're just beginning to see heat spikes so normally, the high summer temperature here, would, be somewhere in the high eighties last year for the first, time in recorded weather reports we had two days here one hundred and sixty, degrees two days in a row and some of the native. Plants actually dropped all their foliage so it's those spikes that stress the system much more. Than a gradual increase of temperature. So all of. The domes will be warmer and then they're going. To. Different, there watering z. cooler one we'll be. Guan will be cooler we'll Vance it out we'll make sure that the daytime temperatures stay at or below. Ambient temperature because right here on the coast as Opposed to inland. Where it's definitely going to get hotter there are. Some indication that right here at the coast when the inland heats. Up it pulls the fog in the same. That happens in San Francisco that we might actually be cooler okay so the so there's three domes and they'll have varying temperature treatments, and then varying watering treatments. On also right and shock treatments to so too much or heat shock in water shock too much water and not. Enough water and the idea is to accelerate these plants through time effectively yes and to. See what their interactions will be not only individual plants this species can stand more, heat or this species, grows fast when there's more rain. But the reason they're. Planning closely together in this semi randomized pattern is to see what they do when they start crowding each other How might this project. Benefit me planting a garden in forty years well there's a. Big, trend now to using native plants in a garden this will benefit. The consumer and land managers in seeing if you're planning a restoration project or a. Wild and garden what are your or how to improve your chances for success in choosing certain plants that we've demonstrated to have resilience It's getting an issue get out yeah let's go outside Now. This was created by Helen mayor Harrison, and? Newton. Harrison and you've spoken to this couple before right yes these two of the world's most prolific and famous Eka artists that's artists who make these big projects to deal with the environments that huge body of work as as as being concerned with. Climate change and trying to come up with practical solutions. But. You're also saying this project is. A, little bitter sweet It is because Helen Harrison Helen Maya Harrison he's Newton. Harrison's lifelong partner she passed away just a few months ago Another thing about this project that I find fascinating is it's really quite, controversial that's right I mean some some conservationists have now come around to the idea that not everything can be. Saved and so you should try to save the species that. Are resilient and do the, most, good for, the ecosystem, Newton, really brought. Home this idea when we spoke with him How you doing.

"You'll see me walking Los villas barefoot. Yeah, yes, we did that and like I think it didn't really hit, but I acted like it did like I'm still bunk down. Yeah, I think I wasn't. Maybe I was. I don't know. My brain wasn't fully developed. It was making choices. What do you remember anything specific? Remember any songs you dance to remember taking cigarettes, emptying them out. We still someone cigarettes hit a bathroom, emptied them out, like ruled all rolled all the tobacco out into the toilet. And then we saw Cowboys dancing in the toilet with the shavings of the tobacco. This fawn visual. Yeah. Yeah, it was cool. I mean, it was, I don't know, like I love boys and so I like, I think I, I would have loved to have gone. My prime date would have been like the love of my life, and I'm yeah, and then we, you know, I slowly lost virginity as he took off my dress and you know, like a Jennifer of, yes. Didn't happen like that. Mine that is also what happened with me that the same. So basically, I nobody would go out with me because I was like, had a virginal stink upon me. And basically there are two popular kids circles. They would like the Christian popular kids who weren't sexually active in the popular kids that were sexually active. So I was hanging out with all the non sexual ones because I wasn't sexual. So basically what would happen was all the popular kids would basically make a chart and be like, okay, Whitney's going Corey, you know, Danielle's going with Eric, and they would just pair up everybody. And then whoever was left would ask those people. So I found out through another friend of mine. Okay. Chase hasn't doesn't have a prom date. Chase Hudson, very handsome, chase, Hudson sounds hands was he was pre med at university of Texas with me. I actually tried to find him on Facebook. He's not there if anybody knows where chase Hudson is the e just would like to say what's up to him saying that we were on the sonic volleyball court. My sonic had a volleyball court. I know somebody sauna. Yes. So mine. The one that was like in my high school parking lot, basically had a volleyball court, so we all go play after high school. So we're sitting there and I had gotten word that chase was going to ask me, and it was basically just because like I said, there was like four people that weren't seeing anybody and they match them up. However, by the time prom started by the time we rolled around, he was dating my friend Erin, but he's still with you? Yes. So that's, that's what happened. I was dating someone else already asked him. Yeah, we were friends, so we went with me. So it was like a double cock block now trying to like, yeah, have a night I was. There is no possibility here that kiss. Right. So, yeah. Yeah. I mean, that's kind of how it was for me too, so, but you know, I'm happy he. He asked me on this on volleyball court. I'm really happy about that. It was cute. Yeah. And he picked me up in his black Mustang hot and we wrote and I actually have journal that I wrote the day after prom. Okay. Can you Rita? I can, but it's not that exciting. Basically. It is just me listing every. Thing we did every inside joke in quotes because it's like literally, don't remember anything. It's like somebody said something to me and I wrote it in a lot of money. You know what I mean? I don't remember any of these context first things as FU Jordan, which I know means this. There's this band called something corporate. Yeah, if see Jordan is it isn't all right song. We listen to that on the way there. So I put that as my first note and then there's an, I don't remember what any of these things are Benz missing a button? I don't. I mean, I know Ben is, but I don't remember that waiting in line for caricatures hacking in the line. We were really big into hacky sacking at this point jink os and tight..
