Whattup, whattup! It's our diamond episode and have we got an absolute diamond for you. It's the wonderful actor Holli Dempsey! You might know Holli from Ricky Gervais' Derek or from her role as Vera in Dad's Army or from her starring role in Harlots amongst loads of other ace stuff. We met Holli in our basement / dungeon recording studio at Soho's Maison Bertaux and we had a chat. A lovely, lovely chat. Holli was so honest about her upbringing and childhood and working life. It was enlightening and charming and a bit sad all at the same time. #TSP078 - Joseph Gilgun (Part 2)

Nah then. How are you keeping? We've got another sequel for you this week. It's the return of one of Chorley's finest exports Mr. Joseph Gilgun! We chatted to Joe way, way back in 2017 (click here to listen) and the feedback we got from that episode was incredible. Joe doesn't do too many interviews so having the opportunity to sit down again and record was a real honour. When we spoke to Joe, he'd just wrapped from a hectic shoot on his own creation; the soon to be released series Brassic. He was just readying himself to travel halfway across the world to start shooting the next series of AMC's Preacher - A brutal schedule by anyone's reckoning. The episode finds him wrestling with his emotions. The brutality and honesty of his self-analysis is sometimes startling but they shine so much light on the human condition, it's impossible not to be completely won over. His unfiltered passion and storytelling ability is nothing short of spellbinding and the anecdotes are typically hilarious. We were back in our spiritual London home of Maison Bertaux this week. Jemima came and met us, we had a brew and really bloody nice chat. Jemima has been on our stages and screens for the best past of the last thirty years. You may know her from her childhood appearances as George in The Famous Five or on the big screen in The Black Dahlia, or on our TVs in Hex, As If and Lost in Austen amongst a myriad of other things. Jemima is a joy to be around and her contagious mirth is hard to resist.
