Could Mike Pompeo, Robert O'Brien, Make a Run for POTUS?
"Yeah, David drucker, I am going to moderate a debate of would be senators in ohioans on a night, the 6 Republicans who are running three nights at Senate to replace rob Portman, and I'm reading in Trump shattered or prepare for that debate. They might want to get a hold of a copy themselves if they want to know what I'm thinking about. I think you're going to sell like hotcakes. I can not wait to read this, but I wanted to ask you, I know that two of the profiles in the book are of Robert O'Brien and Mike Pompeo. I was with both of those men last week. I'm curious what your assessment of both of their intentions and odds are showed president Trump not enter the race. And if he should. Well, it's very interesting. Let me start with Mike Pompeo, the former Secretary of State because I spent so much time researching him and reporting on it. He wants to run for president. And in fact, in a podcast interview a couple of weeks ago and it's a companion to my book, so it's also athlete titled in Trump's shadow. I asked secretary Pompeo, if I said I know you're not going to tell me if you're running or not today, I'm not that I'm not that crazy. But I said, if Trump decides to run a third time, does that automatically mean you will not. And he would not say as some have said that that automatically means he would not. He said, look, if you're going to run for president, you need to believe that you have something unique and critical to offer the country at a time in history. He is planning to run and everything he is doing is about planning to run. Robert O'Brien, who I profile less, but did mention is a very interesting figure because he comes from the traditional wing of the party, but he fit in very well with Trump in The White House and was his most successful national security adviser from the perspective of doing the job and not getting crosswise with the commander in chief. Could be a very interesting dark horse candidate as a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter day Saints. He's a Mormon. He comes from the west. There are pockets of Mormon voters in Arizona and Nevada, Idaho, other states where multi candidate primary, you might be able to do some damage. He's also interested in running. I classify him as less interested in Pompeo.

Admitting yesterday that he was indeed the source to these writers to books articles being written. He said yeah. I was giving interviews off the record. General Milley, Undermining Trump Is Not Your Job
"If Donald Trump is a commander in chief wants to send mixed signals I'm not suggesting he was doing this at all by the way folks I'm just saying If Donald Trump wanted to send intentional mixed signals to the Chinese government to keep their military guessing for some reason he saw fit That's his job to do He's the commander in chief You may not like it then you vote him out the next time That's not the way any of this works The joint chiefs chairman milley is not there to run interference for the president of the United States and China That's not his job And again talking about well listen we do these calls all the time as if this is just some pro forma thing You may do these calls all the time The idea that he made the call is not the controversial part The controversial part is the clearly the content of the call Do you understand it is not the joint chiefs chairman It's not his job to engage in military making decisions and try to decipher what the president of the United States says If he had a question about president Donald J Trump at the times intentions he should have just asked and had president Trump clear it up That's his job as the commander in chief And why there would be mixed signals I think Millie's making that up
Mark Milley Tries to Defend Call to Chinese at End of Trump Presidency
"I want you to listen to this This is general Millie with the joint chief chairman again With one of the worst word salads I've ever seen in my life trying to explain away why he took it upon himself to call the Chinese Communist Party one of the military leaders over there and tell them that he would warn them about a potential nuclear strike This is clearly bordering on the lines of treason and yet merely explains it away by saying don't worry about it man This is critical to the security of the United States What A coup A military coup He's not the commander of chief I command their chief folks Mark melly He is nowhere in the decision making chain to decide to launch a new nuclear strike Is everybody understand that He just took this power upon himself And president Trump and the acting secretary at the time Miller have Trump's acting secretary I've already disputed Millie's account Here's Millie trying to explain this thing away Pretending like he was the calm study hand This guy sounds to me like he's trying to write his own autobiography right now and trying to sell advance copies Check this out With respect to the Chinese calls I routinely communicated with my counterpart general Lee with the knowledge and coordination of civilian oversight I am specifically directed to communicate with the Chinese by Department of Defense guidance The policy dialog system These military to military communications at the highest level are critical to the security of the United States in order to deconflict military actions manage crisis and present prevent war between great powers that are armed with the world's most deadliest weapons The calls on 30 October and 8 January were coordinated before and after with secretary Esper and acting secretary Miller staffs and the inter agency The specific purpose of the October and January calls were generated by concerning intelligence which caused us to believe the Chinese were worried about an attack on them by the United States I know I am certain that president Trump did not intend to attack the Chinese and it was my directed responsibility by the secretary to convey that intent to the Chinese

Donald Trump Deserves a Nobel Peace Prize for the Abraham Accords
"Question. I wanna ask you and you can go anywhere you want. But when people talk about the abraham accords. I'm not sure. I understand the significance of that. I haven't heard much about it. Tell us what's your perspective on that. What did trump achieve anything. Well the media did a terrible job covering most important storage game. Changing set of arab-israeli peace agreements in a generation re literally have not had an arab-israeli peace accord in twenty five years We've only had two prior egypt and jordan and president trump who was told by everybody in the peace industry in washington. You'll make the middle east worse you'll never make peace. You don't know what you're doing. You're a moron. And yet he accomplished four arab israeli peace agreements plus an agreement between kozo a muslim majority but non arab country and israel. It's extraordinary what trump pulled out and eric. You know this about me. In sixteen i was a sharp critic of trump. i would've considered myself a never-trumper. But i did would always know whether never-trumper did i said. Okay i have these deep concerns about him but let's let's pray for him every day and let's see how he how how he does. When i sat with them in the oval office a scene described in this book. I told him that. I'd been a never-trumper now eric. You know the man. How often does the term never-trumper get used with mr trump in his presence particularly in the oval office because judging from the looking at his is not that often. But i said to him. Listen i didn't believe your promises. I didn't trust you. But i've been stunned by what you've accomplished and i began rattling these things off. Let's just take a few right. The abraham accord had not yet happened. But we were trending there. It was clear to me that he was going to be able to pull these things off. Four arab-israeli agreements. Okay plus destroying the isis kathy. Liberating five million christians and muslims and yazidi from the reign of terror of isis taking out the isis terror. Commander abu bacher all-body taking out the top iranian terror general qasim sulamani ripping up the iran nuclear deal of imposing a maximum pressure sanctions campaign against iran. Moving the us embassy from talbot to jerusalem recognizing israel sovereign rights over the golan heights. And i could go on. And on as i do in enemies and is i believe. Trump deserves a nobel peace prize for the abraham accords. I doubt that he's going to get it. But if you don't win a nobel peace prize for creating peace with four arab countries and israel. What's the price

Secretary of Homeland Security Alejandro Mayorkas Promised Open Borders
"What he said A while back, right? This is the same secretary Andrew Mayorkas. That said, Listen. We're not telling you not to come to the United States. We're just saying Don't come right now. And this was at a time when the pandemic was really like, out of control. And it was for like, five minutes when he was saying Don't come right now. Right. It was it wasn't as forceful as came alive as the vice president, who when she said, she said, I'm telling you don't come right should have got that one. That's a funny audio, but She was more forceful in it, and she took heat for it. Mayorga says What he wants to say he doesn't take heat for anything. But so that's what he said today. Now he went on today and I think we have the clip from earlier this year in March when he said, I'm not saying that the countries don't come right. We are not saying Don't come. We are saying don't come now because we will be able to deliver, uh safe and orderly process to them as quickly as possible. Oh, safe and orderly. Yeah. Do you really think somebody saying I'm just saying Don't come. Just don't come right now, because we want to make this safe and orderly. Do you think anybody's going to listen to somebody that talks that way? I know I'm not. I'm just okay. Excuse me, sir. Step aside. I've got some border crossing to do, And that's exactly what they did, because he's literally opening the door. He's opening the border, and he's doing it at the command of the commander in chief, Joe L. Barbosa.
Abraham Lincoln Said the Only Thing That Could Destroy Us Is Us
"Shall we expect some transatlantic military giant to step the ocean and crush us with one blow? Never All the armies of Europe, Asia and Africa combined. With all the treasure of the earth except our own. In their military chests. With Bonaparte for a commander could not by force, take a drink from the Ohio or make a track on the Blue Ridge. In a trial of 1000 years. At what point then. Is the approach of danger to be expected. I answer. If it is ever to reach us, it must spring up amongst us. It cannot come from abroad. If destruction be our lot. We must ourselves be its author and finisher. As a nation of free men. We live Through all time. Or die by suicide. And he wraps up With The rest of the admonition and you can read that for yourselves. But To sum this up. Abraham Lincoln gave us this morning and he said, this country comes down because we'll take it down ourselves. Mark Levin wrote the book, American Marxism. Because he clearly articulates But that's happened where here doesn't mean the country is Over. It means they've gotten a footing and we can't play games anymore. It is no longer a spectator sport. This is critically important. I think it's it's important that we realize these things again. What Lincoln said. And he said it in 18 38 is so apt
What Bill Roggio Would Do to Protect Americans Against Terrorism
"The scenario is bill. Roggio is made the director of national intelligence. What is the first tasking order. What is it that america. Our allies aren't paying requisite attention to that. You would make them pay attention to to make us safe. What's the biggest gap in our knowledge. Yeah i i'm gonna keep this specific to the terrorism field. Because that's where i keep my focus but you know but i think these problem one of my big concerns. I think these again. What happens in afghanistan doesn't stay in afghanistan. The thought process that is used in. Afghanistan is used in other theaters. We need to clear house of the individuals who have come to the idea that we can negotiate with our enemies but the problem is they didn't view the we doing. The taliban is an enemy a decade ago. The we being the us if you have that type of thinking that the house needs to be clear we need to learn how to recognize our enemies. There was this was when i talk about the failure of the generalship. There was an individual named carter milk. As and he's he's been advisor to general dunford. He wrote an ad in the politico a couple of weeks ago. Maybe a couple of months ago where he says. And this again the visor general dunford as he was both commander in afghanistan and chairman of joint us to staff we didn't realize the taliban religiously motivated organization. Are you kidding kidding. No i'm not getting the all the name taliban there the students of islam
Sebastian Reminisces About His Time in the Oval Office With Donald Trump
"Me share a story here. I was in the oval office with president trump. Just the two of us which rarely happens. The oval office has Well it has an entrance way from the out of office and then it has a little narrow door that goes to private eating area and little place for the president. Just sit and read. Didn't be by himself. And then it has the door to the the west wing where guests come through so you rarely in there alone. I was in with the most powerful man in the world and it is a humbling feeling truly as an immigrant to the united states. Somebody who wasn't born here. Who has an accident who always will who only became a citizen. Three years prior to be alone in the oval office is something yukon express. And i was in there on other business if i remember. Well i think it was Iran deal I was one of the two people though building. In addition to the president wanted to kill the iran deal. God bless into finally doing in the face of people like hr mcmaster tillerson mnuchin. All the other fake america first. And i was about to leave still talking about something to do with iran and the president looked at is hand. He got this very serious expression. Yeah he's a very jovial person. It's to great great sense of humor. But suddenly his face froze who's reminded of something on that piece of paper or just something came to mind when he said i really don't want americans to die on the korean peninsula. I did not want to get us into another shooting war in korea. He understood the threat. Remember the hermit kingdom under kim launching ballistic missiles over the japan intimidating our friends in our allies but despite never having said he went to a military high school but despite never having served he really undestood the weight. The inordinate responsibility carried by the person who is commander-in-chief
Gen. Mark Milley to Nancy Pelosi: 'I Agree With You on Everything'
"Mike gallagher. Maranda devine weighs in on the general milley thing in the new york post and so honestly if you're radio interviews generals who say well. It's not that big a deal. I mean generals talked to generals all the time you know. I talked yesterday about nancy. Pelosi is involved and that's what she dives into let me quote from her article. I mean journal. Mark milley became so deranged that he cast himself allegedly as the hero of a seven days in may style fever dream in only he could save the nation from trump trump launching nuclear war with china to stay in office. It's an insane scenario. Left wing equivalent of the most far-fetched cunanan conspiracies. She writes but this is what is claimed in. The woodward cost of book entitled peril show alarmed was the tightly wound. General about what he imagined. Trump might do that. He made secret calls his counterpart in china. Promising to warn them if the president ordered an attack. It's clear that milly or people authorized by him leaked details of his delusional daring due to a number of authors. Because he's proud of his actions. His lack of shane bodes ill for the country if he remains the nation's highest ranking military officer as chairman of the joint chiefs of staff the botched withdrawal of troops from afghanistan over which he presided was bad enough. She writes what's next and the most disturbing part she writes of the mili- story is nancy. Pelosi's malign influence. The general seem to treat her as his commander in chief pelosi who was engaged in a blood feud with trump that sent her batty manipulated and bullied. Milly a transcript of a call with pelosi two days after the january six capital riot obtained by the payroll authors has her ranting at about trump's access to nuclear weapons pelosi said if they couldn't even stop him from an assault on the capital who even knows what else he may do and is there anybody in charge of the white house who is doing anything but kissing his fat but all over this. He's crazy you know he's crazy. He's been crazy for a long time so don't say you don't know what his state of mind is. Milly reportedly responded madam speaker. I agree with you on
Republicans Stay Mum as Details Emerge About Gen. Milley's Call to China
"Beast has gone from claiming that the bob woodward book might be wrong about general milley to now outright defending general milley in calling china secretly and warning them that if we attack them he'll let them know in advance and did show behind the commander-in-chief's back and now the line of the narrative is. There's nothing really wrong with holy crap. Have we gone from zero to sixty and twenty four hours tucker asked a pretty pointed question last night where where are the republicans on this. Where's tom cotton. Where's lindsey graham. Where are where are these hawks when it comes to what appears to be a blatant direct in your face act of treason as detailed by a forthcoming book. I'm really baffled here.

"What went through your mind. I i was almost in my stomach. Because i looked at it and said that is a needless loss of life because of the net planning and execution by the senior leadership of the military and putting those young men and women in harm's way without the tools necessary to defend themselves and we in fact pulled that rug out from under them by not having the planning of taking kabul where we could have ensured a safe environment for them to operate like they had had for the last year in afghanistan the senior leadership of the military today while everyone wants to blame president biden and he's ultimately accountable these senior leadership and these officers they also need to be held accountable by the american people and one man has been fired and it was the man brave enough to demand accountability from the senior leadership. "commander" Discussed on United States Citizenship - Civics Test Podcast
"Question number thirty two. Who is the commander in chief of the military and the answer is the president. Here's a quick civics lesson to help you remember that answer. The founding fathers strongly believed in republican ideals. A republic is a government where a country's political power comes from the citizens not the rulers and is put into use by representatives elected by the citizens that is why they made the president the commander in chief. They wanted a civilian selected by the people. They did not want a professional military leader. The president commands the armed forces but congress has the power to pay for the armed forces and declare war in one thousand nine hundred. Seventy three many members of congress believed that the president was misusing or abusing his powers as commander in chief. They thought that the president was ignoring the legislative branch and not allowing the system of checks and balances to work in response. Congress passed the war powers. Act the war powers. Act gave congress a stronger voice in decisions about the use of us. Troops president richard. Nixon vetoed the spill but congress. Overrode his veto. Because we have it. System of checks and balances one branch of government is able to check the other branches so again question number. Thirty two is who is the commander in chief of the military and the answer. Number two, , fifty, , one with Leif and we started getting into the book guidelines for the leader and Commander by General Bruce Clark but we only made it thirteen pages in two and a half hours, , and it's one hundred, seventeen , page book. . To, , recap a little bit, , this is a book that I searched for for over a decade I originally heard about this book in my favorite book, , which is called about face by colonel. . David Hackworth. . Finally, , found a copy a month and a half ago. . and. . So here we are just a little background once again on General Bruce. . Kark. . World War One. . World War Two Korea enlisted in one thousand, , nine hundred and up going to west point colonel in World War Two. . Then a general commanded the Fourth Armored Division in Patents Third Army. . Battle the Bulge Distinguished Service Cross three silver stars forty five years. . Of Service? ? And then spend a bunch of time not only leading troops but also training troops or overseeing training commands so. . Awesome Career Hackworth talked about him glowingly in the book about face and That's where that's where the star took me a long time to find this book. . Who did somebody texted me about it. . And said, , it was the white whale. . that. It . was definitely hard for me find this book, , but we have it and that's it. . That's what we're GonNa do where do you go back into this book? ? So here we go back into guidelines for the leader and commander by Bruce General Bruce C Clarke. . This section starts off with administration some thoughts for the commander. . And he says inflammation, , I would like to point out the close. . Interrelationship between training programs. . And Sound. . Overall management. . So this is something you know when you're that young gung-ho leader. . That just thinks, , hey, , where you're operate whatever that operation is whether it's shooting machine guns or whether that's out selling things or making things and you think, Hey, , , I'm I'm on the front lines I'm going to make things happen and you think all the administrative stuff you shouldn't have to worry about. . That's not me. . And I know many individuals that are like that I know one individual in particular like that whose name is Jaakko. . 'cause I was definitely like that. . Many commanders. . I should say I. . was like that when I was younger because I absolutely I realize this and you can hear. . We'll talk about the paperwork drills that we had to do and how. . Life. . Came to me. . We shouldn't have to do this stuff and I said Oh we're going to do it and we do a better than anybody else. . So I figured this out but it is it is definitely a learning moment that people have and so why not learn it right now many commanders are defeated by poor administration. . Imagine that just that statement many commanders are defeated by poor administration not defeated because they were tactically unsound not defeated because they made bad decisions not defeated because they couldn't come up with a good plan they fail because their administrative losers. . Without. . Sound Administration at Commander CanNot Succeed in his training and maintenance programs. . Good. . Administration is nothing more than applied common sense. . I'm including here a number of items that may well be considered a checklist of indicators of sound. . Administration. . Number. . One. . Importance of time. . The principal coordinating device in the army is time. . Learn the proper time space factors. . So you can be on time and make reasonable demands of your subordinates. . So. . So that's number one by the way, , which is probably why you hear a lot of talk about time management. . Just think about the idea that the first thing he's GonNa say is time this is someone who clearly understands that have all the resources in the world that we have. . That's the one that matters the most because we just can't produce more of. . I was GONNA say it's the it's the one that matters the most and it's the absolute one that we have the least control much control. . You have time you zero you cannot stop it. . You cannot bring it back. . You gotta say the power curve. . I hate that fewing. . I hate that feeling and let me tell you what. . I realized this a while back. . So when you go to the airport if you show up at the airport late. . In now look TSA doesn't care that you're late the baggage handler doesn't care that you're late the uber driver does not care what time your planes leaving they're they're doing what they're doing, , and so what that does is it takes you have no control. . Over that time once it started to commence, , what do you have control over going to the airport a little bit earlier? ? That's all. . That's all not that big of a deal. . Go to the airport a little earlier, , and you won't have to worry about TSA. . You won't have to worry about baggage you won't have to worry about. . How long it takes for the Uber driver or the left let's give proper. . Credit or lift driver to show up and bring you to the airport. . Not so so how'd you get control? ? You can't control time once it's unfolding you can't bring it back you have to you have to plan for appropriately. . And there's a there's a sense of urgency and I have a pretty good sense of urgency and you you may have may or may not I know like at the monster especially the earlier musters when we weren't. . When the backside wasn't quite the well oiled machine that it is now certainly as a well oiled machine now the early musters do. . Not a Well oiled machine. . So on the on the front side, , people would know that when Leith and I were walking out on stage at eight o'clock in the morning, , we had two hours sleep because we had to do whatever we had to do behind the scenes and that's just the way it was. . I can feel I can feel. . When the shortage of time in fact, , I think I feel the shortage of time every single day single waking minute. .

"Mike thank you so much for joining me. Appreciate it. Absolutely. I'm happy to be here. Well, we appreciate we're looking forward to your flight now. I understand. This is your first time commanding and as a whole new spacecraft the crew dragged inches if I can ask what's been the most challenging for you as you've prepared for this Mission as Commander. Well, that's interesting. I think certainly on this in this particular case there is there's been challenges along the way but at the same time a lot of those challenges have been external if you will. So, how do you keep how do you keep training duration of a pandemic? How do you how do you get ready for a space flight with some of those restrictions on it? And so I think that's probably been one of the biggest challenges sure. I am on the other hand the the great thing about being a commander is that you realize you don't have to do everything yourself and we've got an incredible crew with a lot of experience on it off. And and so that has has made some of those challenges easier to to deal with and get through because you know, you are able to fall back on and not just took my experiences but their experiences as well. And when I say that you know, when you look I've got a Victor as a rookie space flyer, but but Victor is not a rookie in my mind. He brings a lot of operational experience to the table and then I have relied heavily on his experience as well as Shannon and Luigi's Mike if I can I'm a fellow Christian and I loved hearing how you took convenient regular during your last trip to the office s special from the couple. I was just wondering do you plan on taking the you're Chris again? And can you tell us how going to space has impacted your faith? Yes, I do plan on taking the the Eucharist again, you know for me having Having the Eucharist having the body of Christ with me on space is it helps you get through some of those stressful times? It helps you get through some of those times where you you may feel a little vulnerable, right? Because for me knowing that Jesus is with me that helps me understand that I don't need to worry that no matter what happens that that I'm going to be. Okay, and and so I think it's in those moments those Reflections those and you know, that's when it's the the quiet times and sometimes that's the harder times right when when you're out there and you're doing it whether it's a spacewalk or whether your caps are in a vehicle or or doing a science on board, you know, you get pretty busy and you're occupied. It's it's those moments when you get to either sit back and think about it before or after that that I need to rely on that date now. Mike was also asked about his overall role as commander on this Mission home. And how that will be different compared to what doug Hurley faced on demo to which launched a few months ago. Here's my talking about that being the commander on who dragon is is a little bit I think new for us here at Nasa and and what I mean by that, you know, we've been relying on on the Russian soyuz to to get to the space station for a long time now and and that always has a Russian cosmonauts as the commander on and you may have one of the you know, the US person that's on the vehicle may be the commander of the space station, but we in general have never had to work for quite a while now worried about the the commander of the vehicle that that taking you there. And and so that's what's making it a little bit interesting in the sense of I am the commander of the of the issue one drug and vehicles, but once I crossed that hatch and and I crossed into the International Space Station, yes, I stayed commander of that vehicle and making sure it's ready to go at any time. Yep. To to leave the space station, but at that point I am right now just another one of the the engineers working on board under the under the commander of the International Space Station and so kind of balancing maps of of making sure that you're ready to go on the launch vehicle. But then also making sure you're ready to go for this long-duration missing on a national space station and and balancing those two those two demands have has been a little bit challenging one of the things that has made that a little bit easier is we we have an amazing crew. We have an experienced crew and and so there has not been a lot of difficulties in that sense. You know, I've been able to rely on all of their experiences even and I mentioned this earlier even Victor who's a month a rookie space wire, but he brings an awful lot of operational experience with him and and I certainly relied on that as well and I was also asked if he has any conversations with Doug and Bob from Dammam. And what advice they gave them for this Mission. Here's my talk about that. Yeah, absolutely. One of the the nice things we had an opportunity to speak with with both of them probably about a week after they got on orbit off so that in all the launch and the Rendezvous and the docking will still fairly fresh in their mind. And then we you know after they landed it probably was a little bit longer before we had a chance to talk to them, but we did get to hear their thoughts on the undocked and the and the deorbit entry and Landing phases of it as well and the recovery operations and you know, the thing that is great about those conversations is you get to hear about the little things that are never going to come up in a training program and it's things like the noises the the feeling the vibrations the things of that nature that that helps set your expectations. And so one of the interesting things of course with the sole use is we've got years and years and years of people flying it and so yep. Have this galaxy book out there that that tells you pretty much every step of the way what you can expect from some of these little details on talking about and so this is still new and and so. Bob and Doug have given us some some insight on that and and so I think we've taken that to heart and and so hopefully, you know, we hit some of those moments we won't be surprised but we hear or feel and and then you know, our goal is to you know, make sure we record what we go through as well and and hopefully as time goes by Wilcox that that dial quick if you will build on this vehicle this launch this rocket in and so people will have.

that men are joining us now on the can commando shells is a very special jazz communications and public affairs manager hello Michelle hello there Michelle hi Kim thank you so much for having me so I took a look at these trending less and you know it's really fascinating to see what people were looking at and how would top the list what were some of your favorites so you never know going into a new year what's going to try and then I think if you were to show me some of these trends this year back in twenty eighteen I would have no idea what you're talking about and those are the things that I really loves so you saw a viral sensation this year with a BT Yoda home my gosh it was all over it's so cute too right yeah and if the year here but the New York I was the top search ET here she is our past baby shark which is also the last and the royal baby which I was looking forward to so what I think was personally my favorite because you could have guessed you know I mean I mean last year or even five years ago even like two months ago be like baby iota what was then you have the because you have Kim Kardashian Kanye west baby of course celebrity is always something they were looking for and I I love seeing the people search too because some of the more familiar names but maybe in the headlines for different reasons that are maybe they're entirely new people as well when you're looking at the less you can be anyone from our Kelly Kevin Hart teams Charles jussie Smollett Antonio brown all trending this year but then you also have big stars in music trend day the top search song was old town road no surprise I thought I heard all over here absolutely I mean that was the song you know I was kind of fasting like when you type something into Google and it tries to figure out what you want to type into and you know we always have this between my friend and I I I was really type something in like you know like Super Bowl this year I don't never really ask Google a question but when you start looking at like what it is I found it interesting that the number one is what is area fifty one do you think that was all tied to the whole Facebook thing where they were going to go out to area fifty one and then like say you know we want to see exactly what goes on here yeah so we have a lot of top news of the year two and that was something that people are searching for that area fifty one rate as it was called was number four in the last number three in news was the women's World Cup number two was known for dom cathedral of course we all remember watching and and I was actually when donations research the most heroes you have these moments where you look back and realize at the moment the news cause people to search for how to get it and I think that really inspires me to see how people are trying to go online to figure out how can I help and then also you had like where is where is rocket number one search site number two where's the Superbowl then we're back to area fifty one yeah they were needed by aliens I I know exactly okay our number seven where is claims in football team from I mean come on people really or how about number ten where is the pebble beach golf course you can make some of these up it's like okay I don't know let's think about this let's try pebble beach with that be yet thinking of people of the red carpet lady Gaga Carty be Billy Porter Caitlyn Jenner of brie Larson hours mother ones that surprise you did the on to Disney plus search right at the top was that that actually surprised me because we didn't really know about Disney plus until really about October ash when when they really start to heat up some of their promotional efforts I think that shows two houses on that story is just really resonate in our mind not just over the course of a year but over a decade we know we are coming to the end of twenty nineteen which is the end of the year but also the end of the decade and we look at some things that were popular in search and both twenty ten and twenty nineteen I'm one of those that stood out for me speaking at Disney class was Toy Story you may remember Toy Story three premiered in twenty ten is that was a big surge that year and then a decade later we have two story for so you know we love them and we don't forget about them and the same thing with Iron Man and the walking dead right yeah I tell us I just kind of just to bring a baby words I'm looking at your last okay in twenty ten Betty white was the oldest person to host SNL and it had the highest over overnight ratings during those eighteen months I mean I want to be Betty white I can't wait to see why he's trending in twenty twenty if you will be re inventors are not twenty twenty and twenty thirty I thought to still be star I was in there we have Justin Bieber yes he released an EP my world twenty eight two thousand nine and then he had twenty ten and this year well this year it's all because he's trying to find himself I think I think we've all grown up with Justin Bieber over this decade he is famous for you know getting married so this year it was his wedding to Hailey Baldwin so he's you know growing up now I guess yeah aren't they just the cutest little castle yeah and she's stunning she's just beautiful on you don't how many how many Google searches and I maybe don't knows but how many do searches that does go on do in like a single day I can't remember the latest member of I think it's something close to a billion searches a day it's it's a lot of searches people are going to find out more about what they may already know I wanna die then on or just find something original or what for me it's what to watch on TV tonight where can I watch at so he's in the very mundane but very helpful well I'll tell you there's a great website for that I mean I'm sure you can use Google but have you ever checked out just watch no okay go to just watch dot com okay this little thing is phenomenal okay there's another second called good real but you what you do is you go in and you can say here what here's what's new on iTunes Netflix or whatever it is but let's say there's a movie that you actually want to watch is that you can type it into the site and then it says well you know you can pay for ninety nine for it over here or you can get a free on you too or you can get it with your Amazon prime anyway it's just these little fun facts that you get so if you're ever sitting there saying I don't know what I should watch which you know even with all the streaming channels we still severe got okay I cut the cable but I still don't know what to watch people so it's kind of crazy well Michelle thank you so much for joining us to give you some insight we have a link to all the Google search results in the trending as well they have a video that they put out they put out the stellar video every single year and we have a link to it over at commander dot com "Commander publicly defies trump disrespects trump so then that's when trump tweeted it that this was not going to happen trump tweeted that Ellie got any Gallagher's rank was not going to be suspended was not going to be taken away from him what should happen according to Kirch Leister is the chief of naval operations should have picked up the phone and called the navy special forces commander breeding fire and reading him the riot act but he didn't he's got worse rear admiral Charlie Brown the chief of information issued a statement which read the navy follows the lawful orders of the president we will do so in case of an order to stop the administrative review all of Gallagher's professional qualification we are well aware of the president's tweet and we are waiting further guidance meaning they're not going to follow orders from between the regular take the president's order so much weight so there's open defiance of trump going on here because these people have staked their reputations on Eddie Gallagher motoring I'm isis terrorist turns out he didn't he was acquitted the judge advocate general lawyers screwed up the prosecution gave themselves medals after this and then after trump had parked in the Gallagher the secretary well the commander special forces navy tried to take away his triton even after dropping pardon Los Angeles Times reported U. S. navy secretary Richard Spencer did not the New York times reports Saturday that he had threatened to resign or be fired if trump intervenes to stop an administrative review of a seal at the center of a botched war crimes court martial that if he doesn't put an end to this mini mutiny Pronto the president should still shift camp him well he got shift Kay and Spencer is gone and once again trump sides with the enlisted man decides what the grunts he sides with the person it was wrong to falsely accused presidential order restoring his rank was defied so trump fire sector netted media okay people like to get yes he can and he did got to take a break folks we are being coming right back.

"Along with me Oh that's nice and that is to be alone with someone isn't it you'll never with the podcast listeners today yeah we know Martin he's in New York New York City so great they named it twice he's and he's busy doing work stuff so he's not gallivanting exchange although I have seen the photos from the the the top floors various buildings in New York so he seems to be enjoying it while he's there What was that Long Island iced tea involved I got a message at about our pasta eleven last night telling me that he's got a long island iced tea so that was what ten in the morning over that about five hours previous so he seems to be getting on quite well with some very important work that I know nothing about that's tonight I'm sure we'll what here to the top secret details next time I don't think he's stop secret just stuff so have you been up to I have been playing Elizaveta unity again let's one of eternity is a gain which was crowd funded a few years ago it's a A- An isometric roleplaying game in the style of Baldur's gate and those old dungeons and dragons themed pages is it like pixellated or is it modern style it's modern style is not like fully immersive three D it's third person I cement tricks all fixed point of view but it's got really like really rich graphics and sounds and voice acting and so on I've been listening to you a a series is actually a youtube series but was gonna Poke Soviet called critical role which is dungeons and dragons podcast basically on truth friends playing dungeons dragons but dale also all professional voice actors and one of the things that they do is the attorney see series so I thought it was worth giving airplay through again because one of those games where it's a really long game you can play very differently depending on the character you choose and options that you choose in conversations and so on so yeah I thought it was worth another guy excellent and you play that with the steam controller on your telly downstairs I do it's it's like well joystick supported or is it something yet community No well there's an official mapping but I've made some tweaks to it because I think I added is Scott Scott mostly controlled with the mouse pointer so you just use the one of the pads and clicking and then there's some shortcuts for selecting options in conversations and then I also added a scroll wheel support which you can use zooming in and for moving up and down dialogue and also exciting quick load feature which I've mapped too long prices of certain button so you don't do it accidentally but one one thing they have done in the game settings as you can change the size of the text that shows up in dialogues so if you'll see across the screen from the TV it's really useful to be able to boost the up to a nice big size so that you can read it Oh nice so they have about that sort of thing and it's available on your favorite retail stores for compete games yeah I saw it's stain which is where I've got it in fact I think they just released for the Nintendo switch as well although I don't want to I don't want to buy it again so I'm just pl- replay on steam well as get on with it.
