"You appreciated. Um Okay. Let's talk about Queen Elizabeth Mourning the loss of her husband, Prince Philip and a former aide. Says that Queen Elizabeth understands that she has a job to do and that Philip would have wanted her to crack on. It's a very British thing to say. But she will continue to do that just means continue working crack on Yes, doing her duties that she will keep calm and carry on. So she is going to be accompanied by family members that future royal engagements. And a former senior aide is saying that her family will step up and be by her side. But she will carry on on. But she did so even when he retired from public life, close royal insider saying she will never abdicate. Because of duty and honor and public service. It's so deep in her as it was for him. I just have this vision of her at, like 110 at like they're just like hovercraft ng her around. I mean, it's just gonna get increasingly hard for her to do her job I would imagine, But you can tell she is just tenacious as all get out to keep doing what she's doing. And she certainly doesn't look her age. You know? I mean, how old is she? She's 94 rounds. Philip. Definitely. I mean, granted. Everyone's yes. Yeah, together combined all it wants, but if you looked at recent pictures of them together It certainly looks like the age difference is larger than five years. Absolutely. So she's going to keep at it. I mean, it is kind of interesting to think about Prince Charles is 72 years old. William is 38. So when She passes away. Eventually Charles will become king. I mean, it could be any time in his seventies, likely, right? I mean, he could pass on before she does. It's entirely possible possible It has. But listen, he also old white guys in their seventies run all sorts of stuff around here. Stone. That is accurate. They do. That is so without going too deeply into that conversation. I'm gonna go over here and talk about, um, The weird like this is just the theatrical part of this whole experience, because let's be Quite honest, like the whole monarchy thing is so frightened, strange, sure, but Isn't it? Just crazy to think about this guy, Prince Charles, who was born to be King and his entire existence, and meaning and purpose in life was to do one thing. And imagine, then what it must feel like, Yeah, so then not ever be able to do the thing and knowing that even if you get the chance now to do the thing, it's probably going to be relatively speaking for about five minutes. Maybe it's a more fun life to actually just be waiting to do the thing but not actually have to do that. I don't know. I think the person who wins and all of this is the person who Was born into royalty and was never going to be king. And his name is Harry. I think so too. I'm totally with you. Yeah. Floyd Mayweather spent $80,000 in under 10 minutes on air Mass Birkin bags. That's why they call them Floyd Money. Mayweather wow by a luxury resale store, and he spent $80,000 on four bags. That's actually a pretty good deal when it comes to Birkin bags to get four for 80 grand. Yeah, but good deal or not, somebody could live in those bags and tags for 80 grand. You have to ask yourself. Yeah, that's not like a new Birkin bag can be like 60 grand for just one which that is. Ask tonight. I mean, that is ask tonight absolutely should be asking yourselves lots of questions. If you're doing that, there's no question. I'm gonna go ahead and just I'm gonna imagine that nobody who's listening to this show right now. Is buying for broken dreams. Go to Lake Minnetonka. Don't know lots of money over there. Um, he has $18 million watch. He's a big spender. Big time Watch collector. He also claims to own the biggest Chanel bag in the world, so I don't know. Does he fit in the bag? Is it gonna be like some day? He'll be buried in that bag? I don't know. I saw something about a Louisville Thanh bag shaped like an airplane. That thing about doesn't fly. No, it's not like the size of an actual airplane, but it looks like it's a handbag that looks like an airplane. And I was just like I just Where am I can't get into that. "For voter quote improprieties unquote and who is involved with a push to register voters that might tend to go beyond conventional means to do so and you also had a situation in georgia voter harvesting in which case activists would go out and gather votes and choose boats and maybe untrue certain votes there were various elements to voter harvesting that bring up questions of impropriety. You also had no voter. Id you are weakening of signature verification. you had a weakening of actual vote. You know the the paper the vote was printed on whether there was increase in it. And all these other things going on you know shredded vote showing up in dobson's and church parking lots You know people being in one case. This young man was killed under mysterious circumstances. You know there's all sorts of stuff going on in georgia up not to mention the electronic question of of electric voting and now the people georgia have reasserted auburn right to the legislator to end some of these practices and to get a voter. Id and response by the left wing establishment which seeks to subvert. Those rights was to claim that this attempt was motivated by people who have something against black men and women which is ally and it's becoming more obvious that it was ally this you know the idea of protecting the vote. Fraud is one that protects the votes of all the people of that state regardless of their ethnic background number one number two voter suppression happens when a real vote is weakened by encountered by a fake boat. That's suppress that. That vote was suppressed regardless of the racial background of the person. Cast the real vote and number three their attempt to make this claim was it's becoming more obvious to people is itself racist because what they're saying is that people of color are somehow less capable of registering to vote than people than white people which is obviously ally and the people who are saying this. Obviously either don't know people of color would they don't care it.

"The the issue is whether or not that was approved by the state legislature. Article two of the Article one section two of the constitution clearly says that it is the state legislator that legislature that decides and regulates election matters. They decide whether or not dallas should simply sat out. Not the governor. Not the secretary of state s. What's happening to michigan. Not judges and so the our constitutional questions around that and i think that the founding generation of the founding fathers in their wisdom recognized that the state legislature is the best venue to regulate elections. Because that's where the people the will of the people resides when you elect a local state senator or a local state rep. That person is accessible to you. That's your neighbor does somebody who was experiencing many of the same political and social the sedatives that you experience that person most closely represents your and reflects those values and is sent to a state capital as a legislator to regulate those values and to pass laws and so you have now a movement. I'm just wondering how the Oscars are going to happen. 'cause before they were kind of fighting, you would have to release your movie and the movie theater for like two days, and if you were going to do a net flix release. Like there were some movies that were nominated for Oscars that way that didn't really get wide release, but they just put it in the movie theaters for long enough, but then how are you going to have an Oscar when you can have a large crowd larger than fifty? Well I can go back. Did you ever see like footage of the Oscars from the thirties saw. It's so different because people will just like, get their award, and they're like thanks I want my Oscar, and then they leave. It's political shit. It was two seconds of Heaven that is he's like sorry Dude Michael Sorry I helped him up and we kept on walking. Oh my God what was he wearing. Actually he had on a green shirt and these genes like these brown boots. I wasn't paying much attention and did you see like Angelina driving down the Angelina. This was like around Jin Aniston time. Oh this was was like this was his peak peak Brad Pitt yes yes that is a very good vanette type of thing. You can exclusively to get on T. with Charles podcast. We're talking with Tyler Giles today low so we're GONNA put real estate on the back burner for a second back at as a a successful established l._G._B._T.. Man Have you ever run into the jealous haters <hes> daily this this is a story. It comes from the new republic. Did you read this article. No I heard a little bit about it but I didn't read it okay. This is about a month old. You had a man named Dean. UNPACK is a columnist and novelist and he wrote this scathing piece about Mayor Pete Buddha judge who's running for President of course and in the article will he says that Mayor Pete is kind of this Disney gay that wants this white picket fence mentality. He's takes a cynical view of his military service and stuff and then he calls him Mary Pete Moment Right. There is a lot of Internet Pearl clutching gasping this collective gasp that he dare call Buddha judge. Mary Pete and everybody's like that's homophobic and I was like. Is it really homophobic. What is your take on it? Maybe you think differently <hes>. I didn't think Mary Pete was a homophobic. Thing decided no if it's that homophobic because I think you're with your girlfriends always clients heather Marian girl and Bitch and the day back in the day but I think now that we've managed to <hes> <hes> get someone to get so high you know if you give someone an inch. They'll take a mile and before you know it if a gay person says it's okay to call him Mary Rush Limbaugh is going to be calling him Mary. Exactly that's a good point yeah. It's not <hes> I'm afro-american. These two 'cause Negro back in the day but <hes> you know black people Afro afro-americans they will a Lotta Times call each other the N. Word right but you know it's not right for just another person to call us that you know when Obama Obama was running. You didn't hear Jesse Jackson Goma in that basically you don't WanNa give you want to reclaim the word right but you don't want to give your enemies permission to use. That's an excellent way of putting it and the more you say the more permission you give them going back to the story about about the new republic. One of the things that got people riled up is that he speculates on Mayor Pete Sex positions with his husband out of respect for mayor A._A._R._p.. I'm not going to repeat what he hears Doraville by the word yes and he's the mayor South Bend and you know what he does with his husband. Chasing ain't nobody's business but you know every gay man in America had a little kike like all right so you wonder myself hot it I think I think the crux of the problem is that it made it to print. It's like this was like a late night drunken Gabe our conversation accidentally got published because I don't know uh I think we're gonNA see more of this. Though I grew to see a lot of it and it's GonNa be a matter of kind of brushing off her shoulders not using that language ourselves and staying focused on the prize and not getting distracted. We have to remember though that people do this to Donald Trump all the time all the time. It's like you know stormy. Daniels book had a very explicit Lissette section where she details. You know the president's part yeah whenever we talk stormy. Daniels people like yes quyen works lay yea alright stormy Daniels is going to say about trump. We have to be a little more shell when people are like all right is mayor p top or bottom or whatever no well. I'll tell you the big differences because if mayor Pete stood there and said no I'm not married. No I did not do do this. I'd be one thing but Donald Trump said I didn't have. I didn't sleep but I never to heat and night. It'd be one thing if he said Yeah I did it and that's the story he said No. The White didn't do it so now it goes well now. I'm GonNa prove that you did so it does to me. Change it a little bit okay. That's a very good point you have there. I have to say though I love Mayor Aarp. I think it takes a lot more courage to do at mayor pizzas than to do what this snarky columnist did. Absolute Hide Your computer and just talk shit on absolutely I will say though I'm a little scared of the Pete Hive. What's the Pete Hi I? That's the word I made up you know beyond say has her Beehive Pete. Hi because people went in on his you know not that big. A name like people just went crazy so you remember the whole beyond say controversy in lemonade Becky Becky with the good hair. Yes my mother had good here. Have people suspected it was this fashion designer name. Rachel Roy at <hes> beehive went so crazy that they went on Rachel Roy's Wikipedia and changed her profession to dusty side. Oh ooh I didn't know that at knowing this fact about the beehive made me check this dean packs wikipedia. After this happened there you go his profession. Action was changed to mean Mary. Oh Wow wow well be careful. You gotta be careful yeah because I just don't WanNa. I don't WanNa piss off the Pete Hive. We'll know it says life is fair. So sometimes you know you might take a bite out of the wrong apple. I it would just be like I'll end up. If someday I had a WIKIPEDIA PEDIA it'll end up saying profession shameless hookers and then I'll take great pride. I know I would <music> so tyler. What would you say are the most dangerous areas in Los Angeles area <hes> I would say well? It's it definitely south of the ten <hes> they call it south Los Angeles you know but I have to say a little quick side comment. I'll take clients down there and they'll see bars on the window that goes this Areas safe the bars on the window always say bars or just a cheap man's alarm. Every house in Beverly Hills has bars on the window so they're just calling the alarm system you just go. There are some places you still do need to watch out. Yeah Elliot Does Not Register on this new ranking released by U._S._A.. Today the fifty most dangerous dangerous cities in the world so I'm not GONNA say fifty cities here on t. with Charles podcast but Taylor. I need your help can we you do the top ten <hes> it'd be my pleasure to assist you. Charles Coming in at number ten is Bo Var Venezuela number nine Fortaleza Brazil number eight tall Brazil number seven Guyana Venezuela number six IHR Apostol Mexico Number Five Juarez Mexico number number four Victoria Mexico number three Caracas Venezuela Dose Acapulco Mexico at coming in at number. One is Tijuana Mexico so slight little pattern here. I see for the top five six well. The top ten are all in Latin America. You're ah one two three five of the top six all in Mexico so this ranking comes from U._S._A.. Today I am going to question if this is just because certain places cases have better statistics than others. I'm going to guess these places in Latin America might able to report a little better than say Mogadishu in Somalia. I would actually tend to rather much rather be in any one of these top six places that Mogadishu. I'm GONNA say that the United States has a few entries as well number fifteen is saint. Louis Are Most Dangerous City number twenty two Baltimore forty-six Detroit and Number Fifty New Orleans wow well we're at the bottom of the list does not make this list of most dangerous cities no they. You don't think God I've got so looking at number one tijuana. It's quite close to us. Yes it is. Have you ever been to Tijuana many many times. Were you doing something dangerous. No I wasn't actually I was just down there drinking and eating. I've been going there since I was in my early teens. When's the last time you went to Tijuana <hes>? It's probably only been about eight years. Now was the last time I went down there. I like T._J.. It's fun. It's not like everything what it was. It's kind of homogenized now. It's like Mexico San Diego. The South San Diego south of the right next to each other. I was Kinda surprised number. Two is Acapulco Mexico back in the day. That was where the Hollywood stars went on vacation that was like the Kabo of the nineteen sixties. I wonder though is that because maybe it's still so touristy. There's a lot of muggings like it'd be interesting. What is booking this up because Tijuana and Acapulco number one and two are high destinations for American tourists <unk> as just muggings throwing the statistic off like if I took out the muggings or just light petty crime would that change with these to change on the list? I suspect it has more to do with drug crime. That's happening outside the tourist area. Yeah that's true. I have a feeling that the crime syndicates syndicates keep the tourist spot safe ad you know when you get the shady areas outside of that that's where all the stuff goes down. I have a couple of friends insult live down there that have quote unquote retired and to get to their community. You have to go through three checkpoint gates and then you get back there and you're like Shangri. La Okay is that in Tijuana Tijuana <hes> actually it's it's below Tijuana. It's about an hour below Tijuana which I can't even think of the name of the place right now okay yeah. They really like it. There's some beautiful places is in Baja. We don't of course write it off entirely because there's some wonderful parts of you know Baltimore and Detroit New Orleans yes there are beautiful spots crime could be I slate in certain areas doesn't in the whole city as a rat infested as some people like to say who shall not be named <music> stormy Daniels book the Orange One. If I was going to invest in real estate would you go to Tijuana. WanNa are somewhere because it's cheaper now we're going to get better or would you just avoid completely. Avoid it completely but I would definitely look if I had some extra money was thinking about retirement place. I would it definitely looking down in Mexico actually Mexico's still you know they've had a lot of progress since Nafta and it's very nice down there and there's some great locations you can get a love your money you.

Are you ready to get into its spill some t t and let's dive into these hard topics six. I hot topic for the week is face APP. What a time to be alive is number one on the APP stores yeah? If you check your social media and suddenly seen all your friends as old or female or the opposite gender they are probably using face APP. It is a pretty well done APP however it is made by the Russians so I want to like the right I personally enjoy the Russians I have some very good Russian Fred's but Woah we do not want Russian hackers. I personally don't believe that. Russian hackers are writing this because if it's number one at the Google play store somebody is probably checked into it at Google right. It's pretty official. I gotta say it does feel a little weird weird. When I think about the proposition of entering my face into some database that is in Russia? That's a good point to make but I haven't seen any actual news outlets talking about this. I've only seated on tabloids however I love you and my listeners so much. I'm going to take one for the team. If the Russians went to hack into my phone it take my forty year. Old Dick Picks that I'm sending out on Grindr I will. I've got something for you a nickel and Dmitry so let's have a look here all right so here. Send me your picture album Toga here. What what was your name be using as female <hes> I I guess Alberta Alberta? That's a good one. You look like you. You look like you would use some sharpie for your eyebrows there some pretty serious makeup <hes> <hes> even little lip amplification Eric. Let's let's try it a few other photos here. We got Albert as old man all right. That's pretty good. That's pretty got. It looked like someone actually related to. That's just my grandfather is. That's a picture of my grandfather all right. I'M GONNA do mine as a woman now. Oh Ho what do you think that looks like Alberto <hes> that that looks like a third grade teacher who just got her nine month Aka chip yeah she looks like a substitute teacher her name's her name's Cassandra and my my name's Cassandra and I'm an alcoholic because for Cassandra Oh man sting wish gentlemen right there look like old man in the see as a fun APP but like we said we don't want the Russian hackers to hack into your Dick Pic so by thank you for taking one for the team took for the team this service with a smile t was Charles podcast it so you realize Alberto that we're wrapping up a decade yeah. I guess we are end of the two thousand ten does this. This decade even have a name the the teams detainees proteins the Chinese okay the Chinese because the nineteen when he's. I don't think they talked about decades one hundred years ago when it was nineteen because that's just World War One really then we talk about them again in nineteen twenties. That was the roaring twenties already. I'm ready for for revamping the I mean the roaring twenties sounded like grapevine until you know the Great Depression. That wasn't very fun yeah that that's a day applaud your party. I've I've got a few suggestions. We could be the money twenties. Okay the money twenties or maybe it's the funny twenties funny twenty because there's been quite quite serious here in the United States is past couple of decades. I think it's time for fun w great if the twenties were a lot funnier than this decade well every new decade. We have sort of a changing of the guard so I've noticed there's certain casting decisions going on here in Hollywood. I think we're going to see some big new stars new faces for example. We talked last week about midsummer with Catherine Pugh. I think her name Oh Florence Florence pugh Florence Catherine almost four hundred pugh. She's not only admits harder but she's going to be in the new black widow movie for site for we've got the new Elvis pick coming out with us and Butler Austin Butler he his Tex Watson in the Tarantino. Pick that coming out this week okay all right so kids on bar new kids on the block you know I just looked at Austin Butlers I._M._D._b.. And it was like amazing he's in once upon a time in Hollywood that turn Tino pick here's great. He's in the Jim Jim Jarmusch Zombie pick don't die. He was in Zoe. WanNa won the carry diaries and you know what else is really jealous of my career. I Know Asta after after the Austin Butler <music> Elvis movies coming for the tea with Charles podcast. I really like Austin no no this is my podcast. I'll make the tea with Austin podcast. I'll produce it for you for a couple million but sorry guest I I would have of course I have guessed guess. I feel like oh no Alberto. You're awesome. We have well edition to these new faces coming up in Hollywood. I feel like it's a new era of representation the twenty twenties it's going to be about representation. We have a Shana Lynch who's going to be the black female 007 so w was not suddenly having a gender transformation you know he's he's hanging up his hat. He's retiring unless Leshan Lynch <hes> African <hes>. I guess she's a British black. Woman is going to be the new 007. Idris Elba was going to be double the seven and they're like we have got to be a white British stewed or I don't know I think we've gone. We've gone full full circle either sell but I think he was he was he was a contender for the new crown fight one it. I don't think he wanted them. He didn't want it that bad in addition to that we have little mermaid with Halle Bailey. That's not Halle. Berry is Highly Bailey. Alley Bailey who is in beyond say's she's WanNa beyond his proteges at she's adorable and she's going to be a great little mermaid and we have Natalie Portman as for Oh that's right which I know. The fan boys are going crazy crazy four and also we have a new biopic of Steve bosomy coming out. I guess WHO's GonNa play Steve His and Scarlett Johansson getting there's not a Steve Bouche movie movie coming out but you know Scarlett Johansson. She's she's to lose yes no. She's not in the St Bush biopic. She's she's GonNa be in the new movie where she plays the Princess of Zimababwe. I feel like that might be guys yeah. Actually I just joking. She's not going to play a princess. She's not going to be Steve Shamin but can you imagine being scarlet Johan's publicist right about about now because scarlet. It's like it's okay. We get is acting pretending right but she keeps stepping in this P._r.. Dog shed yeah I mean as as a straight man who's had a Scarlett Johansson a handsome crush for awhile. I I forgive her. We forgive her. She gets a pass as she gets a bit of a pass. She gets a pass. I still love scarlet. She's been in some of my favorite movies of all time. She's beautiful but her publicist must be pulling pulling their hair out right now yeah publicist earning earning their fee. That's enough of the casting news right now. Have you been watching the new stranger things so I have not had the time I would like to <hes> to get some. I saw the first episode <hes> the first couple seasons I think I watched the first season a few times second season and was the first episode of the third season and I loved it stranger things. It's probably the hottest thing on Netflix right now. I just wonder Y. Ella hasn't learned to speak English yet takes you know after a few years right yeah yeah well I loved about it is the started back to being kids yeah. They're back to being important life changing mm events at every single kid in that T._v.. Series is now in their Awkward Day. Yes we're talking about decades and changing the garden whatnot stranger things set in the eighties. Do you remember the the eighties now older. You can't say I was born in eighty six okay and <hes> also I was in Ecuador Ecuador. I was in Ecuador during the eighties era born in Ecuador. I was born in Ecuador. I didn't move to states til <hes> ninety ninety one right so a lot of what I know about. The eighties comes from movies from back in the day. Okay this Paul Jake kind of you know look backs as I get it. I get it because I was born in seventy seven so I had to learn all of disco and all that the second time around it's like I heard about blondie and Debbie Harry 'cause they had a nineties resurgence right yeah. There's like music from the eighties and I'm just learning about now and but also I the other thing for talking about style wise. I just think hair hair I just think just an excess just so much hair people were serving hair and the eighties. It didn't have to look good styled. It just needs to be big and have a lot of hair spray a lot of the stylistics stuff kind of played into the nineties little bit yeah well. I mean decades change because humans arbitrarily kind of place all right. This is different for now but eighty nine hundred ninety. It was kind of the same Yudo there is promotional arc's that went on from the late eighties to the nineties so you still had a you still had N._B._A.. Basketball players in the short shorts into into the nineties. I do like stranger things. It's got a lot of great nostalgia there. There's a lot of extremely liberal use of S- crunchies and the hair got the soundtrack at I hate for a hate eight when they like beat you over the head with nostalgic back in the eighties every time you turned on the radio. It wasn't just culture club in Madonna right. There is a great variety of things going on at the time we might miss remember member the eighties a little bit right because we were kids then we were just as a culture we look back. We think Yeah Culture Club and all that kind of MoD kind of stuff. I guess you could call it but there was some punk rock was coming was still there was still there some underground stuff that we don't really think about this stuff. We were remember now from the eighties was the stuff with staying power because I remember going up then and there was a lot of crap on the radio to just like there's a lot of crap APP nowadays but we'll get twenty years from now in two or three big names and songs will still be remembered from this time right. Who Do you think is going to be remembered from two thousand nineteen twenty years from now <hes> I don't no I mean I'm pretty big on Billy Bush on that whole thing? She kind of blew up break <hes> I I made some playlists with like some of her first tracks on there so I like to claim that I discovered her first there. I was I there <hes> she's passed away now. I knew I knew her when she was before she was big as all these great to see her like still in the you know in the in the Zeitgeist if you will but <hes> yeah I mean I figure who's going to be playing Vegas. Ed Twenty forty who's going to be together. Vegas residency right vegas residency probably Ariana Grande Day should still be in her or forty s early fifties by then. Can you think of that. Oh my God it's curious to me like some of these stars like they can just retire and other ones they can't. They don't stop there. Just like you have enough money like you can just chill at home if you wanted to but they can't stop up Victorian playing like the rolling stones. Were still touring as of not long ago. Don't you just WanNa chill at home. I don't know I don't know I'm not GonNa just chill at home when I'm old. I'm not going down with others. Okay now. I good at die with this microphone in my hand God damnit..

"She carries the movie really i really think we're gonna be seeing a lot more florence pugh and if you can't handle the gore checkout midsummer in addition to midsummer i also saw annabel an child's play the new chucky movie annabel it's from the conjuring universe i enjoy all of the conjuring movies i think this annabel movie was probably the best annabel movie and it has three young actors three teenage actors i usually don't like teenage actors but these three a really great and they they they did a great job and annabel child's play the new chucky movie it's brought up some topics that i think we're gonna be talking about for a while well firm one do you have siri or alexa and you're home i am way too paranoid of a person to walk around where the government can listen to the things i say because they've already got my phone exactly so that is a big fat now we have we actually have to echoes in i remember when the whole controversy of the echoes were listening to what you were saying i disconnect those things so quickly so it's a wrap for not doing this in there they are disconnected in one of them's in a box and my girlfriend thinks i'm crazy but i i do not think you're crazy i want to delete my entire facebook's i went to delete my entire face but however i've got friends on facebook from twenty years ago but i don't have any other way to contact them for you've signed in so many apps things things the facebook at facebook is literally like the devil because you can't you can't go anywhere without having a face by having having a facebook is like having a telephone in the nineties yes right in addition to face book i'm afraid of where i search so when i used instead of google if i wanna look at my adult images you don't just worn if when i go to duck duck go basically called duck duck go it doesn't track what you're looking at in i gotta you porn daily so it's fine i i i'm just putting out there but the people i look at porn i see no wait so do you care where you you search corn on duck duck go crazy i go to google google equal i don't even have yeah exactly what i need a search brazilian daddy orgy i have to go well wait actually tell me the thing is that actually would then i dunno checking duck duck go and find out i think you should just he'll i think it should search brazilian daddy orgy and then right back to me i brought a child's play because i also you told me about it there is a tv show that's kind of like the twilight zone for twenty nineteen called black mirror mirror on netflix right so why don't you tell are audience what this episode of black mirror episode of black mayor is literally about a people living in like i dunno like maybe forty years into the future where you where you're whole life is based on 'em how many stars you get so if you walk into how shop and they give you great service in four stars stars five stars in the higher these there you're you're score is the more access you have the lord that it gets the less access you begin have the the less a circle of friends you have in you watch this you watch this woman men who is trying to get like this high percentage of people laker it she's trying so hard that she starts falling and she literally goes crazy i check that i checked out this episode to because in the episode literally every interaction action that you have gets rated five stars she go to starbucks thing they give you five stars you go you meet a woman in the elevator they give you five stars take a selfie like people it's like selfie culture it's like selfie culture like just blown up 'cause you're you're just like instagram ing and liking everybody's page and smiling while you like you have the smile constantly like you have to be happy constant oh i'm already there honey so i've got my books out ad i'm terrified of reviews so there are times what i really wanna tell somebody they kick rocks and i'm like oh good by nice to meet you and just smiling because i'm like all right well anybody can go there and give me a five star review but they could also give me one star hawaii cif views charles because there is a couple you know most of my reviews are good and there's a couple of out there that are basically anonymous at basically telling me i'm worthless and ugly in stupid not treat my books and recycle my box you realize that like you are doing what ninety five percent of the population is not knowing which is you're actually published in your own stuff in the only the people that are leaving anonymous reviews are people that would never in their life that they would never do it too scared there there too scared of the power you have 'cause you're doing it they're not thank you for the vote of confidence i listen i read charles charles books and let me tell you i sit there and i will let i think i finished his books and i will i will live tweet him as i'm reading line and i'm like this was hilarious keep that keep doing that i will ask him questions on the stories that he's writing and i'll laugh i i yeah i've laughed at stories and i read well hopefully we wanna hear dory stories to hopefully you put something out at i will give you a five star review 'cause that's how good i am i'm not gonna be like one of the bitches and the black mirror episode wearing all their pastel and get like two stars they just can't handle it probably probably the biggest story in entertainment this week is taylor swift versus scooter braun this is like mike tyson vs evanger holyfield were might bites eve anders fucking eros so for those who don't know scooter braun he's a big name and music he is manager of konya west he's the manager of justin bieber van he is or was the manager of taylor swift and they had a falling out a couple of years ago because she more control over master she's been asking her master recordings back for awhile anyone who knows the music industry no students this is not that easy even prince did not get his masters back andy taylor's recor company big machine recordings offered to give her her masters back but they basically were making her indentured servant no further people don't know taylor swift's dad had a five percent buying some big machine i believe when she was fifteen i think gives i think it's five percent fifteen percent but he did have a he he owned a share of big machine so big machine offered to give her her masters back if you stay chain to them for the next ten years if she passed on that and they ended up selling the scooter braun who she has a beef west taylor took her beef public by posting on tumbler that she was anger that scooter and our own recordings okay there's one thing about taylor swift i give her credit for a controlling the narrative right the smartest thing she she did she got on tumbler at seven am in the morning i believe seven or eight am in the morning and she wrote down she wrote this on tumbler and it went viral within two to three hours in by the time the scooter in his people his wife scott chetta responded she had already she had already written the narrative in heat will you gonna say that you can't defend yourself because you took too long to respond she's already she's already put you out there man her taylor swift fans are swarming scooter braun there doc seeing him people around scooter braun did not take a slightly though because his wife clapback what scooters wife had the say larry a worst burn you were unique opportunity to own your masters you pass you're dead as a shareholder and was notified and more chetta ceo big machine personally told you before this came out so no you and find out what the world yeah also goes on slam taylor is a tendency to collect and drop friends i mean listen she her she got her at all she is now friends with katy perry in which is interesting that that video they did together this last video right that was interesting the radio video she released starring pride yes where did not like she makes up with katy perry s they bury the hatchet yes so i see a collaboration coming real soon maybe they'll do a bad blood to possibly that'll be interesting i'm gonna make out at the end or so i think they're they are you team scooter team taylor i can't believe i'm saying seem scooter i don't care for taylor swift but i do have to say what she did is pretty ingenious she got in front of the narrative she spotted she literally played like politician she she got it she you know i think the scooter did if this will scooter did but it's not right it's not okay as someone who releases his own type of art my books i could understand it if somebody buddy said to me you're gonna have you're books control back but you gotta write us ten more blacks i would be i would give them the finger right away it'd be like fuck you know taylor swift she passed on that deal which was basically gonna keep her chain to big big machine for the next ten years here's so on that sense i'm team taylor mhm on the other hand scooter braun owns her music now so he could get real patio if he wants to man the gyms we're gonna be seeing taylor swift music you for lots of unflattering that i know you're a horrible that's gonna be a tampon coming we're never getting back we're never ever getting back together is gonna be like something for like gonorrhea medicine her something that was what i was gonna say divorce attorney i mean that could you know that could happen that could happen wildest dreams it'll be for a reptile dysfunction i teared up some of my guitar for an alcoholic commercial i don't i don't know you know i dunno you need to calm down that spurred prozac now shake it off would be old people in diapers so dory read my book detailing hustler right idea in in the book i introduced several foods that i liked so much like they would smell so good while i was doing post mates that i would go back and try the myself here freer delight i brought some of the food with me that i try that i wrote about detailing hustler so today we have from the little fluffy had cafes that's the name of the cafes little fluffy had strange name i'm not gonna lie little fluffy had caffeine seventh and spring street i brought us some boba that loves lady but she got a cloud on my mobile last week they do not give me strong switch oh come on man the whole green things got it in all right from little fluffy had kathy whereabout to try this it is sweet ginger milk to with boba posts mates guy brought it to us andrew denmark and not only that don't get straws now because ellie has ban straws we have a law on straw i'm losing my middle how are we supposed to drink bobo without a straw well i'm sorry if we tell a few dolphins but we kind of need straws with their boba on me but it's okay you well this is good i like a good so eight satan clown on them on the bubble she that she she didn't care for it but okay it's eighty wherever you are if you're listening in this my name is dorrie we love you say a in i am above a drinker and i get tease all the time by my wife friend kelly about drinking boba they say that has the widest thing that could ever do but i love it it's pasty white is from hong kong oh my gosh westwood's they're gonna go west where i wanna go to west but so the sweet ginger melty with bo about talk about and detailing "Book is coming out from director and pope of trash John waters. Mr. know it all the tarnished wisdom of filth elder. That's John waters new book. Are you going to check it out? Most definitely. He is my God. I have to say, I wish that gets today, new John waters a little more, because I feel like he was kind of the LGBT bonding before it became mainstream before light Rupe host drag race and all that we had John waters. We all watched hairspray. We all watched pink, flamingos, and dirty shame and everything divine divine may she rest in peace. She I have to say, though, I need John waters take get off as key Stor. I've had enough books, so dirty shame was the movie with Tracey Ullman and Johnny Knoxville edge. She becomes, like sex holic. I can really relate every time she hits her head she, she becomes the sex Hollick. So obviously dirty shame is the Oscar winning find cinema. But this was back in two thousand four. This was fifteen years ago, very long time a long time ago. So John waters, you know I've had enough books. What better era? Would it be for John waters to come back then, during the Trump era, it would be fabulous, because there's just so much to say it's almost like, oh my God. And like you now you've put me in a mind spin just thinking about the I know there's a lot of little things that I've been wanting John waters to do, just because I like mega fan but. Like for a long time, he had a movie that, like, he like a kid's Christmas movie called fruitcake is going to be with Parker Posey and Johnny Knoxville, how epic would that be very epic? And it was listed on paddock pre-production IMDB for the longest time, but it's not even on IMDB anymore, sods. So I'm guessing they put the Knicks on that. Who knows a Parker Posey, John waters? Movie sounds like it would be legendary. I mean it's an ideal match. While promoting his Lewis book, this is one of the things that John waters says, I miss the days of stonewall when homosexuality was illegal and you could write it. I don't of course, what it to ever be illegal. I think we've made great progress. But at the same time, sometimes I don't want to be like everybody else. I don't want to fit in that speaks to me that does speak to me too, because it's like. Now that we're like mainstream popular. It's like the gay thing doesn't cause moral panic anymore is like the Christian right is not like flipping their lids over you know, like gay dudes are old hat. You know what I mean? I mean or have a brain I think that's what's happening right now. Get your mind. It's like now that everything's mainstream. It's a little more boring. I guess what I was having a conundrum about, and I think it speaks of this topic is when I go out in the world and every single store now every avatar is rainbow and like, really so because this is trendy now. It's trendy now. It's trendy now. We're I'm like, where were you like, you know, a couple of years ago, you know, who did you organize for like, what did your corporation stand for? But now it's now it's cool. Cool. It's like I remember being a little kid and my dad told us that they had seen the gay pride in San Francisco. This was like back in the eighties. So this was very shocking to me. They didn't really understand what it was. And he said, there's a contingent of lesbians on motorcycles, and they had a banner called dykes on bikes and I'm trying to be rude. That was the banner that the actual actually held at because they weren't dyke somebody right? And I just remember thinking it sounded so like counterculture and out there, but when Bank of America's sponsoring gay pride how is not edgy any. No, it, it, it goes back to they just want your money. Just went your money. Yeah. It's like do you actually support me? I just want your money. I don't really care. I mean it's good that we've made that validation, we've made these steps. But at the same time, I kind of miss the days when it was a little more Eero like off the beaten path to get to the club. You had to like it was emission. I think it's the same way feel about marijuana. All right. I'm a huge fan of John waters. So I'm going to check out Mr. know it all, but please, please, John waters. Make us a new movie. Your fans are waiting with baited breath, a lady awaiting, maybe breath. So that's all the hot topics we have for. Day, how much fun is having tea with Charles. I love it. I want to do it every week. Oh my goodness. Well, I definitely love to have you again. Sometime. Thank you. This is the very first episode. I can't wait to share the tea with the world. Sadie. "There's less chance that, you know, it stepped on or something. So here on a podcast. I'm not saying that you do marijuana, not do it. So basically, what they're saying is they when you go out and buy your pot. They want you to go and buy in the dispensary and not buy it from the guy off the street. Do you trust this? Okay, I'm little torn because I didn't actually I was I was actually listening to you. When you you're speaking, can you believe that, thank you? Yes, I was. But what I thought about it is like a what is that thing that people were smoking? It's the spice or something vice. Yeah. And I was like ooh. Do you know what? No, I would not want to smoke the spice. And I think that if we're coming from not angle, go to the dispenser onto the spice kids are gonna go spice supplies, author faces like nine people heads off and stuff like that. I know it's like a story from Florida. We don't want spice. We don't want Biasi them. It just makes me feel old because I think spice and I might cumin oregano you. We're gonna talk about the girls. I don't know if that's going to work, you know, because when I'm out to buy my recreation, the first person I don't check with is the government, you know. No, because I don't want to be on their list of pot smokers not to say that I smoke pot. But if I did if I wanted to partake in legal recreational marijuana than I, I might have to go with the guy down the street because I don't want to be on, you know, their, their list of, of whatever lists. They have in the FBI or something, the big brother is everywhere, I've just accepted that do you have you been to any of this dispensaries in town a lot? Let me give you a list of is there, one in particular that, that you feel like Tele telling our lovely listeners. Well, when I was a resident of Venice Beach, California, my favorite dispensary was the green goddess it felt like home. They allowed my dog there. They all remembered her. They would give her doggie treats and I mean, if you're going to buy drugs you. Might do it as mere might as well. Do it at Venice beach. I mean, is that the home birthplace of, you know, we'd here in California? Yeah. It was called the grain goddess green goddess green goddess collective shout out. And here's the thing about legal marijuana now that it's legal. I don't get the kick of like sticking it to the man, if I took up, you know what I mean? I hear you because it's like you have that satisfaction back when it was legal. It's like oh yeah. You know, I'm sticking it to the man. Yeah, I'd do it this illegal shit. But now it's like you know now is legal is Budweiser it. Oh, I have I haven't been doing it. Really? You know what I understand what you're saying because you're just like feel? So basically canal like, who doesn't smoke? I know I need to try spice I guy five. No. We do not encourage drug us here at with Charles. So kids, just say no don't do drugs. But if you do do them, don't do too many of them. All right. Moving right along, I think the hottest show on TV. Right now is pos- I would agree with you. What do you think about pose? I love those. Yeah. Because I love Ryan Murphy. Number one. Number two, it has you know brought up to the table. A lot of people that didn't have seats at the table, yet, you know, they've got Janet mock transgender woman of color as one of the writers, and directors, I think most of the actors in the series are transgender themselves, and it shines a light on the, the ballroom scene that was going on in the late eighties. Early nineties in New York City for those who don't know the ballroom scene. It's the Volcker seen that, you know, gay and transgender kids in New York used to do. It's I think it's the best show on TV right now. But I do think Ryan Murphy is crafty definitely craft ager, because repulsed drag race. And then two weeks later, we've got pose it. Oh, so he, he got that audience. We looking for something new. Watch ad it's an exciting show to watch. Sometimes I feeling by electro abundance and electric gets all the good show. Good lines in the show. I mean when she comes on the screen, I mean I just waiting for it, because I know it's going to be electric. It's electric. That's why she's electric. I want to give away any spoilers but e how this season to see is, well, we can show has been on a bit. So we can talk about the most recent episode was very much pinching from the story of Dorian Corey was a drag Queen, who was in Paris 's burning that after Dory and died. They found a mummy in his closet. I didn't know that until a week up toward this podcast. You didn't know that I didn't know that run on the no tells like, wow, I can see the similarities now because Doreen Corey died of aids complications. This is back in the s Ed it. Oh, she's this very charismatic presence in the documentary Paris is burning. The tea is her caretaker found a mommy in her closet of some may add that had died back in the day. And she had just kept him there. The most recent episode of pose Electra she does. Straight up kill somebody, but it oh, she is working on acid club as a mistress as someone dies there. It was very clear that they were kind of reinventing, the story of Dorian, Corey, who has a really nice, quote. I feel some Enlightenment's going to happen right now. Charles enlighten me with. So they played this at the end of the most recent episode, and one of the things that Dorian Corey said in Paris's burning is everyone wants to make an impression some Mark upon the world. Then you think you've made a Mark on the world if you just get through it, and a few people remember your name, then you've left a Mark, do you think isn't the second season? Now, do you think it's, it's maintaining as well as the I, I think it's actually better. Now it I for me it's ruining television, because there's so much I would say realism in there and you get into these characters in you field or struggle in their pain. I mean, nobody's life is perfect. But when you see like other people struggling you, you champion them and you want to see them rise up. And that's what is just. So I even the chills just discussing this with you..
