Well the governor is facing as she said, two counts. They're two misdemeanor counts, and that's Very much. The least important charges filed there a couple members of former senior State Health Department officials who are facing nine counts of involuntary manslaughter. A different direction are to reframe the situation. You're brave enough to see a better future and take action on it. You will be the change that you want to see in the world and the world respond. If I had one thing to share with future generations it's. Just. Do feel the fear and do it anyway. It's fine to listen to people like mean giving out information and ideas, but who cares the none of those ideas are acted upon. It's your action that matters. When my husband was diagnosed with terminal cancer. I made a conscious choice to treasure every moment and create lifelong. With the time we had remaining the power of choice provided us with the ability to refrain the situation. It's the people that are willing to step out there and take bold action that are the ones that make a difference. You have everything inside of you. All you need is within you now. The decision to celebrate and appreciate each day rewarded us with meaning and purpose and offset the darkness of the Odyssey. There's so much great advice out there. There's lots of things that are going to ring true for you and at the same time. Bold action beats great ideas seven days a week. I believe the resulting positive mindset was the key determining factor that allowed my husband to live two years longer than his prognosis, and our daughter emerged from this difficult journey empowered. With the knowledge that every destination is a doorway to another. Just keep adding value. Continue to step into what it is that you are here to contribute, understand how you can add value to the world and just keep doing it. An alternate viewpoint is not wrong rather. It's coming from a unique perspective. I choose to delve deeper to understand and genuinely consider option in turn. This pushes me beyond my own paradigm. Think about it, the unknown as where everything you don't see lips. Be, excellent perfection is an illusion, it is unattainable, is the worst standard instead commit to yourself to be old. Take old action and do the best you can. That's all we need from you. When you do the best, you can every single day. You are going to be one of the change makers. Asking why six times enables me to discover and examining by route. It also opens up new ideas and alternate avenues. Through this process I gained clarity. Which I can leverage my power a choice. Being able to step into your power means letting go of the fears of not doing it perfectly. As a leader I use the power of choice to question why an open the door to opportunity. I choose to ask. You're going to be a lot of people. They're going to tell you becky wrong that you don't know what you're talking about. And that's fine, but no one ever built a statue critic. I am car myself. Organization! and. And follow a new path of. Having a great idea and watching somebody else execute on. It is heart-wrenching. It's about stepping into your full power understanding who you are and the value you can create in the world. Finally I use the power of choice to open my mind to possibilities. I choose to listen to divergent opinions with respect and curiosity. E willing to fail. You'll learn more from your failures than you do. Your successes don't be discouraged by them. Learn from them. The only mistake is the one you continue to make. When you learn from something, you're able to apply it and get even better. A little bit better every day and you're. GonNa get to exactly where you. Is this the worst summer for movies?
"All right. You made a point of note. You sent me, this could be the worst summer for movies ever. Why? Nothing is working everything seems to be bombing, and there's a number of different factors that you'd be going into that. I mean men in black came out, dark, Phoenix, new accident, movie dot till they did you know, they made a new shaft movie. I heard. On on. They're not good. The only thing that seems to have done. Well, that some are ventures movie, and I think those are all really bad movies. But the way we consume movies are different now TV, because things you hear about our Burt box. These Netflix movies that are coming out too much more easier to consume things on your couch now have to go out and spend forty dollars on a ticket pop or on coda and all this kind of stuff. So I think that, that affecting it, but it would also put out good movies, which so far they haven't been doing. So that's all factoring into his very bad summer. When usually summer movies, used to be an event to be the best time of the year. All the big ten blockbuster movies are coming out. Can't none of them seem divorce. Working and nobody seems to go even. Are we seeing a glacial shift in behavior here, the same way, we see retail being affected where people are shopping at home? I mean, people are still going to go out to the movies, aren't they? but now you have to go out and see something in advance like vengeance and game where if you don't see thursday friday saturday you're going to come back to work on monday and everybody talked about it but that's very far to do like you think that it got dylan movie would do that where you'd have to go out and see that movie on the big screen you got bill on the large screen possible and that's is not the not the case and i don't know if it's a marketing thing because the way you market movies are a lot different now than they were back in the ninety s or even early two thousand but you can put out a trailer and everybody in a watch it now you have to do it on instagram you have to make your movie so you can get into the conversation and stay in the conversation the way something like a stranger thing does which is a movie at the t._v. show but we talked about it and we can watch it at our own genius at home so those are all things that are going into it movies aren't going anywhere right think we're going to have a little bit of a loan now areas they re dig Figure out how to bring people back into the theater Mark Carmody Chelsea, go to movies. Yes, we've had some good some movie moments that actually caused some problems where I didn't wanna buy profound soda at the theater, because it's seven dollars for soda and she'd snuck in some, some popcorn with she had she bought the skinny, pop. You know she put that inter inter a little pouch there, and she had all the stuff we had candy to, but she didn't bring the diet coke. And I'm like, why didn't you can't Cote will you buy Clinton? You look at it the way that you've saved all the money on the other snacks. So why wouldn't you get are no Kodak now? It's a bad by whether you've saved it or not. I actually think for real, why not lower the prices for for for concession in general to get people to come to do anything. Well, they raise the price concessions to offset the cost of people not paying for tickets. So that's why you look at some of the trajectory movies are losing money the way that you think they might that's because they're making it up because they charge. Eight nine dollars for a little bit of soda, that's kind of gaining the

"Northam Carmody Falco. So there was baseball news. Mike this week with the league saying that they're going to start requiring the managers to turn the lineup card in like directly to the league before they posted in the clubhouse before all the players. I covered a thousand games over the years as a reporter young reporter in this business. You're normally you're at the park around three three thirty the lineup gets posted. You know, you used to report it back to the radio station. TV stations would do the same thing. Now with the age of Twitter and social media, you see a top up on all the reporters timelines. But I guess they wanna make sure that there's not an unfair advantage one way or another. Now, they're gambling is out in the open. It is going to be legal. Baseball's worried about nefarious business. I suppose I'm not sure what they think they're. Going to prevent or what they're worried about. But what did you make of that that they are actually going to have to turn the line of cards in two MLB? Make sure Mike's why can't okay, let me just say this. This is Adams baby. Adam into this whole thing here gambling. He came up to us. He's been like a crazy dog. I'm going. This is good. This is good. This is good. I agree with us. Baseball stories. Good just as good and it. It's interesting story. But as a gambler, I could care less. I don't think it matters. Does it as a gambler could care less? I don't care who gets what I if they want to cry about baseball has an affair. They're afraid of the various business. You have to get involved with them. I hate the mafia. Hey, there's Luigi, you know. I mean, come on. You gotta you gotta you can't be quiet nefarious business gambling's mainstream. Now, I explained it to everybody's been mainstream for a long time except the media didn't pick up. People gamble all the time. There's billions of dollars, and I don't care. It doesn't matter to me. But I could see where people will be upset interface community or they. Information. It's like, I suppose, but the reality is that a player being out of a lineup. Even a great player even knowledge being out of a lineup is probably not gonna move a line one way or another. Anyway, I mean, it really isn't your you've built in protections in baseball. Anyway, if John Lester was the star you bet that game. And all of a sudden, John Lester was scratched that game is off. I've never seen an irregularity. And if the game, no, I don't know take it off. I will tell you this though Carmen if they said if Chris sale is ready to go and he's your starter for that day and five minutes before the game. He pulls it out in pulls out because nothing scrap yard. The game. Based on the fact that the information was Chris sale was going to be the pitch and that game is off. Anyway, at that point at that point. But if you go early like if I'm in Vegas at the sports book. Sometimes I got my games early. I wanted to attack the line looks too good to be true. I wanna tech it's going to change most of the time the house has the protection anyway, where they're not going to accept the action. Even when the pitcher scratch right now. I mean, it was to me. It wasn't a big deal. I understand everybody was outraged. I go into the outraged about one manager, I guess spoke up, and he didn't like it. But I think it's much ado about nothing, right. If Hayward's hurt for the cubs and he can't play right field. It's not moving. It's not moving. It's not. I think it's about the pitcher that that's that's the key in the key. In baseball is is the empire's normally a lot of the a lot of guys that make their living doing this. So look they'll bet baseball summer. They'll look at the unpire for the each particular days all funding home plate empire. And they'll go on there. Their strike zone. They basically look at an Empire Strikes on and they bet total. That's what they like to do. They do. And I knew I met him at Gibson's. They're still there hang out and the chop house and places like that. And I talked to him. And you know, you knew the umpires that were under they would just you'd see like a guy like back in the day Salerno lot of his games were three to four to two. And you know, his games would always go on. He's favoring the pitcher. They're the pros are going to jump on in bed on what happened. There are umpires want to get to the chap ten thirty. Joe west is one of them they want all Joe us, build the joint, of course. So what what you don't know? Is there are on Pires that are in big time. Good time rolled cities that want to have time to have their fun to go eat, and they'll be an outside pitch called strike three in the eighth or ninth inning. And guess what? Yeah. I I. Gotta go see Potter rally. Go see John panorama. He's got a table for ten thirty. So to me, it doesn't matter. But I could see they gotta fake outrage because it's gambling. I guess I guess maybe all the league's will start to do it. They had a line in the story that had sort of mirrors what more developed betting markets overseas or like me a break. Overseas. How do you collect if they if they decide not to give you your money? I won't. I would no way. Hey, I think you want the money come out to Guadalajara, I'm on the side street. Are you kidding me? Like to know my guy. That's what you should. What's your what's your name, so Jonah where are you from you know, we're not too far off from just going into the United Center and making a wager going into Wrigley. Do that. And I even heard that they're already talking about putting like a sports book in the United States. You know, what I heard we'll be open year round. You could go in and NFL Sunday with the bulls and hawks on it to be playing, but you can go sit in the United Center and just bat in bat and watch game scene. And that's happening. What happened to the racing industry won't happen? Anything else? Wait to what I used to go to Arlington. It was the most boring thing when I was a kid. I'm eighteen years old, Rebecca. The ten races are nine races twenty minutes between races. And there was no simulcasting. But now that there's so much simulcasting. Whether you're doing it from laurel Keeneland CNN needle which aired their own issues. Yeah. They got some issues better all these race tracks. So you'd sit around between the races with nothing to do at Arlington heights back in one thousand nine hundred seventy two Salo to my little friend. It's called boredom. You charge them. But now they got all the races on and you go broke the average horse player. Now goes broke a month in weren't used to take a year. But you've got races every second because you're betting everything you're on three all over the world. I don't know if you notice horse race looking horse race players are the biggest degenerate place. I'm sorry to ten horses. I'm the pick one. No, you're not you say that in the nicest way possible. But look, I'm sorry. I mean, I can't pick them. I can't either there's no system for the horses. Jeans. Right. Like in Popa Greenwich Village. It's all in the Jean Wally. Yeah. Look what happened to Micky ward. Good call. Yeah. Paulie lost his thumbs work was during the rest. Like who's that? Mickey Rourke I go it's been a tough twenty years. Wow. All right. I got an NBA game. I like. Here's an NBA game. I liked tonight. West coast game tonight, the clippers are hosting the thunder tonight. I got this game when it was minus two it's ticked up to two and a half the clippers now lay in two and a half. I got it too. But okay, see had a very emotional charged up overtime win on the road in Portland last night nurse got tossed from the game. It was just it was pushy Chevy. I saw that Oklahoma City went on the road. This is one thing. I always like now in overtime overtime an NBA team. You're playing with kids. I know how this come on an NBA team that's got to travel after an overtime game flight all the way down the coast to California clippers have been waiting since Monday after that win against the Lakers. They're very well rested. I like the clippers tonight lay in two you might have to do two and a half now because that line was taken up. So that's one I do feel good about in the clippers haven't left the state of California since February. They've had to road games this month. One in Sacramento, they were the road team against the Lakers on Monday, they've been at home. They're arrested. They're ready for Oklahoma. Tonight. There was a movie called the tender trap with Debbie Reynolds and Frank Sinatra back in the fifties. This is Carmen strap. Okay. It's a trap game. You think? Because you know, what I said the same thing you were saying and then they started the game. And this is a game. We're going to stay away from because I haven't marked off. All right. But I don't like it. I have Oklahoma City. Now, what we can do is keep us what you would call an keep track of things that we it. Keep it keep a little pattern of what's going on. But I like Oklahoma City for all the reasons you said, it's easy to take the clippers. It's too easy. You just explained that retired Westbrook was emotional. They played overtime clippers are on fire. They haven't left this place. They had a good meal before the game. They took a nice plane. They got nice cars and they bought a new pair of shoes except one thing the line only to why. So I would say interesting counter. Well, yeah, that's true. I'm just saying a you gave me saying how the clippers are winning right now, by the way, but they keep winning. Here's what I did. I like the clippers with you. The system started turning the other white says Oklahoma, Oklahoma City. And listen the first time Mike system against my gut. Let's see what happens. Mark this. Are we Marcus down here? This can go fishing to go down as you keep track of it. I liked the clip this isn't officially a play. But this is called annum a counterplay Mike's counter. That's fine. That's Danny pot work. Okay. Mic. Does have his best place coming up? Plus, I.

"Said that he would visit an physical harm upon Santa Claus. Yes. And that he would pay up. He would come across with the goods. Yep. Yep. He was. To do that to a kid. I agree. I hate that stuff. Yeah. So tradition that you had in the UK growing up that you don't have in America that you miss on the holidays Christmas pudding. Otherwise known as Plum pudding, and you have it with brandy butter, and it's it's kind of like Christmas cake. The the fruit cake that everybody passes around here in Regifters to everybody would I actually like it. It's similar to that. But it's softer and often brandy in it. And then you have it. With brandy butter already, stuffed your face with Turkey and stuffing and all the other stuff. And then on top of that you blow to yourself with Chris you'll love it is sweet, it's it's it is a very very good thing to eat. Yes. And it has almost a karma lead. It gets this very dense rich Carmody texture and flavor is very very good. And like, great desserts. The interesting thing is if you have a big dinner just a regular big dinner you want maybe not something over the top. Sweet. But when you really put the feet on you need now. So I like chess pie just by chess by nine or as I had it at thanksgiving called Brown sugar pie. But a chest. Pie made with Brown sugar, which is basically a sugar custard and a little edgy. But sugar custard in a light crust like a creme brulee on a pie? Yes. And so good and so good. Let me tell you and you need to because when you're really like soaring after all of that you've got to have something big to finish off. So I asked we asked the internet's for, of course, our listeners for questions for either of these two are for me. And here's one from rob that just fits with this topic. What's your favorite Christmas food that you'll allow yourself to eat and as Dana go all out and have more than three ounces of steak?.

"In the lame nights mood lazy night's sleep gently off the glass in intimate seventeen twelve the game of the spin moves so far. That's the third or fourth player was broken it out. It's been extremely effective Goodwin. With the basketball now top of the key in the shamrock right side. Now, it goes to comedy comedy up top Harvey Harvey between the circles Harvey steps back. Three strong rebound is tipped up in accidentally by Michael Hughes. I think they should give it to the chef ski. Now back the other way driving quickly to get it back. He's done. Martin who spins it off the glass in it to make it nineteen fourteen. He's got to have a little bit better awareness their fans. This don't wanna let a guy get a full head of steam and go to the basket if you're gonna follow him clear about Don Martin, no offense is a smaller gentlemen out there. Be able to get a couple of hands on and preventive getting that shot of don't want to give a three point play up in that situation. Foul Carmody the basket was credited to ski down the other end throw Martin good, and it's nineteen fifteen. So Notre Dame's ten point lead. Just moments ago is quickly down to four comes hub with the basketball court pressure from Don Martin. Mccain will press the entire game breaks the pressure. Now, he's between the circles on the dribble dribbling to his right hands. It off to Carmody Carmody between the circles back show hub a little bit lazy pass, but hub is able to control it in the corner. Carmody drive to the elbow up. Top hub pulls it out six on the shot clock. Trying to find an opening at Williams shows in the corner of Chechnya for three short rebound. Carmody Carmody spins double pops throws it off the back of the rim. No good tipped up. No, good rebound Durham, an Dharam snuck in there during one of the time outs. And he makes her twenty one fifteen hundred eighty by six. I mean, it wasn't pretty, but we have five brand-new Notre Dame players on the floor. And now, you see the hustle out there. Great garbage play from everyone in a good job. I dreamed a Finnish up garbage cleaning it up in a way. Now with the basketball down low. It goes to huge Hughes in the lane to weather his shot blocked by term out. Here comes racing down the floor euro step in the lane. As it up in in twenty three fifteen Notre Dame off started by the brilliant blocked by your Durham and just great footwork, thereby hub and transition. Sizing up guy kind of playing a little bit of chess got all the way to the wreck of the beautiful finish Dow top of the key. They're done Mark with a three. No, good rebound.

The ball comes on into plow plow trouble. No, good rebound, though. To ATI audio pull back out. At that time was waiting for the contact by Carmody stepped out. There's a little bit of contact there. But again, I'm glad that follows. Call. He just put his head down and went into that trap is fair. Travel. Gives will bring the ball up. Kids that linked to his left over the court stripe between. Mix. Offense. Comedy. Looney did not time. The rebound comes to plow. Jimmy, elaine. Got away with travel. Ferguson Ferguson between eighteen thirty eight. And we've got an illegal screen called, prevail. Washington. Attachment out of San Bernardino, California. Certainly playing hard. You can tell that there's been an increase in the pace and tempo from the exhibition game the other night. A little bit too. Comedy. Now. Court. Got it over the record stripe. Kids how on audience or reach again. Interestingly game, so far lots of early whistles this translates as things go on certainly that's an emphasis they want to restore the flow to the game of basketball by reducing contact gives right side of the lane. The fingernails. Downloading up and good and the Irish round the board the first points of the game of the season. That's something. This is. ID with the basketball now with the record stripe. Body napping. Notre Dame eighteen o five. Dating. I. Audie now driving right side of the lane is no good rebound. Pardon? Trifon over to comedy comedy driving right side. Both writing layup is good. Economy. Does a great job, and they're using his offhand sort of protect his space that Balkany getting blocked really heads up play there. The basketball now for extended. Colwyn? Good three thousand kids will race down the floor. Left side. Now Luger Pflueger goes baseline at the ball knocked away. Gets it back up. Top now kids seventeen seventeen tap for nothing. Notre Dame Gibbs. Shuttled back to drive down the lane doubled. Thompson has the ball knocked out of his hands and not about and they say it off. Loser included, those did you see how hard I was thrown to the floor mister. Yeah. Replay here a little bit looks like it gets the ball swipe going on the way up and then just kind of leads to an awkward thing. We can't gather and put back up can't gather and pass. He was not filed. How he thinks he was in the second half of Rex. Carmody guarding carcass. Ferguson is Ferguson brings it over big coached right off the plow driving right side of the lane. And they're going to have a reach in our on Harvey or a blocking foul again. They are really hallway. Which is fine. With me. I grew up in an era where you weren't allowed to grab and hold. I don't know. This is going to be too much of a change. When he whistles is not increasing the flow. That's for sure. Fouled out with four. I don't think I would. Out and hub into the game for the Irish inbounds fast without to the right of the top of the. Nice. Hoop or two planes are on board. And you got to be ready for that a little bit. Going to handle the ball a lot with his driven around prepared for the attack. Furnished with the basketball now on over the Harvey Harvey driving into the lane to the runner off the back of the room now. Draws without compensation. The foul Notre Dame. Against Cincinnati super-secret, no fans allowed screaming which allows it really gives you a better testing some of the other exhibition games you play Mick Cronin. Klay quarters. Big people debate you want to go like a women's game in the NBA two quarters. That's not good for literally men's team because at the end of the recording you wipe out the foul don't fit to the line. Notre dame. And this was back to when digger Phelps positionally always great free throw shooting team led the ACC and free throw shooting last year. They want to get to the line as much as possible as party makes the first second. So that's something to think about too tightly officiated games favor. Notre dame. Six to Notre Dame. Now, sixteen thirty two remaining first half of play with the basketball off the ATI. Handed off to Ferguson traveled with the basketball. He was moving so fast when he picked it up and took three steps. Ferguson, ferguson. Got a look of absolute disbelief on his face. He's trying to represent exactly what did.
