YouTube TV vs. Sling TV: Which Streaming Service Is Better?

"I've been subscribing a YouTube TV about a year as a cable alternative that cost less than cable, TV and offers a way better experience, but youtube just announced a huge thirty percent price hike for the service, and I'm rather upset about it. As are many others as have been noted on social media, I'm Jefferson Graham let me fill you in on. Today's talking tech now. When it launched in twenty seventeen YouTube TV thirty five dollars a month, and gave you a host of cable channels more than enough as far as I was concerned, but way fewer the hundreds on cable. You know the ones we never watch. You didn't have to rent. Stupid. Cable boxes or DVR's everything was streaming, and that cloud dvr offered unlimited storage, not only that you could start a show on TV and watch the rest on your phone or tablet without missing a beat. But then youtube started adding more channels in upping the fee. Before the latest price hike, it'd ballooned up to fifty dollars monthly. Beginning July thirtieth for current subscribers, the TAB is now a whopping sixty five bucks. Youtube tried to soften the blow by announcing new channels like MTV and comedy central, but that does nothing for me. How about an option to stay at fifty dollars? Sands MTV because I don't want my MTV and like Trevor Noah, but I can live without comedy central to so as I mentioned. I'm rather upset. As, my friend Peter Chatty noted on twitter. The cheapest option is to switch to sling TV which just announced that. If you sign up by August I, it will freeze pricing the thirty dollars monthly for twelve months good. But slaying doesn't have as many channels for instance no CBS or NBC local, so if you like to dvr shows on those networks, you'll have the spring for an external dvr. It's a lot of work. Minimum wage in Illinois, Cook County and Chicago increases take effect July 1

"In the recent past Illinois, does in fact have a budget to? To begin the fiscal year I'll be on. It is one it's dependent on. Borrowing is precariously. Allen's given the government revenues cookie, taking such a head during the corona virus pan-demic, and that brings us to the first law that I'm going to focus on the increase in the minimum wage is a major victory for lower income earners not so much for retailers. Gets a real kick in the teeth, frankly to every retailer in state of Illinois. Retail Merchants Association Rob. Card notes that it is the second hike in the state. Minimum wage that Illinois employers have had to factor into their expenses this year Illinois minimum wage rose by one dollar from eight, twenty, five to nine, twenty, five January now at such a go up my book every year until it reaches fifteen dollars in the year twenty twenty-five, those who work in the city of Chicago will reach that Mark. Faster Illinois new minimum. Minimum wage may be ten dollars an hour, but in the city it's now fourteen bucks up from thirteen in the rest of Cook County when the suburbs thirteen dollars up from twelve, there are some exceptions for smaller businesses for those who work on tips like restaurant servers. Employers will certainly appreciate employees that has will certainly appreciate those to their paychecks, but retailers say it was always going to be tough and especially so in the midst of a pandemic. We're dealing with record unemployment where dealing with retailers who are frankly hanging on If you worry a retail, I can apparel shop for example. Occupational at fifteen percent, fifty percent occupancy is not viable over the long term. We're talking. A lifeline hopefully goes to the next phase. It's buying time how anyone expects us to really get back on our feet. Rehire. Do any of those things that they would like to see us do when we're imposing? These kind of artificial cost is real question.

Multiple Arizona gyms defy executive order to close

"Corona virus in Arizona, Today's executive order will pause the operation of bars, gyms, movie theaters, water parks and tubing with a targeted reopening date. In 30 days like the governor used the word pause, which sounds better than I'm shutting these suckers down right? But that order on Monday set off what could be a flurry of lawsuits. We've already seen. One lawsuit filed against The state of Arizona in the governor. Of course, that's from mountainside, fitness and this injury. So here's how it played out for one mountainside fitness location yesterday, Scottsdale police tell our TV partners at ABC 15 that a little before 10 a.m. After receiving multiple reports of the location near 114th Street and Shay Was open officers showed up and provided education. They were told at that time by management that the location would remain open. They did. And when officers came back in the afternoon, they issued a citation to mountainsides. Chief operating officer A citation for a class one misdemeanor, which could mean a fine of up to 2500 bucks and possible jail time. You know, I'm guessing $2500 might really be a drop in the bucket to what they might face losses for being closed. Right. So maybe they're rolling the dice on that one hears mountainside Mountainside CEO Tom Hatton after several of his locations received the same. We don't feel this decision was fair. We think it was extremely arbitrary. It was placating to trying to look like we're doing something for Kobe and not really doing something prick owed. If the problem Um, is this serious? But they weren't alone. By the way, it's staying open. I'm seeing live shots on my monitors this morning in the studio Life time fitness facility in the valley. Apparently, there are several franchises that are staying open. Yeah. People working out you get. Ah Ah, are partners over at ABC, 15 had actually a live shot into the mountainside fitness location. That's near 56. And Shay and you could actually see people in their working out. They have resumed in individual people on, you know, ah, the treadmills and lifting weights and stuff. Yeah. Orange Theory said they're going to stay open. Pure bar A. Which is, you know, one of those bar workout ballerina? Yeah, yeah, not like a bar like they're serving drinks valet. Yet they say their their studios or boutiques, not a typical gym, So they say they don't have to shut down. Tanner Chidester - How to Boost Revenue with High-Ticket Sales

"Let's start with is the basics. What is a high ticket sale so typically? It's anything sold over three thousand dollars. You know some might argue that it's a little less, but typically it's anything that sold over three thousand dollars, the example of a high ticket sulphur business could be one to one coaching session how to do a handstand how to write a book how to get in shape. How to build an audience, it could be any things of that nature, so there's a lot of different things that can happen. But for me. Specifically two things I did to really build a very large businesses was in the fitness niche where I held a lot of trainers. I've also helped a lot of fitness. People get in shape so losing weight building muscle, and I also help some general business consultant, so those are examples of what you can do for high ticket sales where you're helping with a very serious problem, and you're giving a very high level of service, so the reason high ticket sales are so great is. Is ultimately they generate a lot of revenue in very short amount of time. So since you're selling them more expensive offering, you can sell a much smaller amount to get your goal so as a new business owner. This is great because at the end of the day. If you WANNA make ten k. a month, it's a lot easier to sell two or three three thousand dollar plus steals versus selling a couple hundred fifty dollar deals right, and that's why this is so good, especially as a beginning. Person In business because you don't have a lot of skill, you don't have a big budget and you have very little experience, so you want to do something that allows you to make a lot of mistakes and still make a lot of income because at the beginning of a business. That's what's going to happen now again. The reason this is so great is easy for beginners to implement, so you can do. Do a hunting different things. You can do cold calling which highly don't recommend, but you could do it. The other way to really do is starting to message. People be facebook linked in or Instagram, so I literally built my high ticket business about fifty thousand dollars a month before I, ever ran any paid ads by simply hustling a messaging people. So what I always say is, is that the fastest way or Or most efficiently, absolutely not, it's kind of like door door cells, but does it work for sure so if someone came to you and said Hey, look if you're willing to message people for six to eight hours a day for the next five six months, and it could get you to seven figures a year. Would you do it? That's kind of the reality with this type of situation when you start, it's. It's not super exciting, and it can take a lot of work, but once you get a rolling. It's amazing. It's just crazy. How much more you can do once you back cash and that's kind of the point of it now. The other way is once you really are getting these leads, and you start making a little bit of money organically. The way you really implement in making more faster is to. Add, facebook ads to this or you bads I usually say facebook ads for beginner, because it tastes a little less skill to run, but once I had thought approach from messaging someone getting them to a phone call, and then selling them over the phone. It was just easy to start running. More ads get more of those customers because for business roaming more revenue, it really comes down to making more sales and for to get more sales, you more applications to phone calls and get more of those more leads. Something also understand if I forgot to mention is you're going to have to sell these over the phone? No one's going to buy three thousand dollars plus private without talking to human being just keep down night. Night, it's possible without a blitz very difficult, and it would take a very expert type marketer so the beginner get them on the phone. Call and sell that way so going back to ads. If you wanted to scale now that she was starting to get clients, how do you get more leads? One of the best ways to do that is with the facebook. Ads give an example of how this looks so maybe you spend a thousand dollars on ads, right? And you get a hundred leads for about ten bucks a pop, so ten dollar leads is not that great, and for those listeners who don't know what a lead is thing of that is getting e mail a phone number something of that nature right now once you have those leads X. amount will sign up for a phone call. Usually it's ten to twenty percent, so let's go with the lower amount. Let's say I have one. Hundred leads ten sign up for a phone call at ten phone calls. Three will cancel to won't show up, and then you can close usually three out of five if you're. You're a good closer. If you're bad closer, you may close to out of five either way if you spend a thousand dollars and close to deals at three grand, you just made five thousand dollars, so if you're able to rinse and repeat that process, it's very simple to see how someone who doesn't know a lot about business can scale very rapidly, and that's what happened to me. When I started I had a lot of skill in terms of fitness and coaching, but I didn't know this part of business, and once I figured it out. It was very easy to scale because I had an amazing fulfillment. So that is the next way is once you get the organic messaging down and you have a process where you're getting clients, you WanNa, take that money and dump it into ads because that's GonNa. Let you scale to the next level. Now

Social Justice

"Should our nonprofit take a stand on social justice issues. If we think it might alienate some donors. Oh topical questions Mad We can tell what's on people's minds and I'm glad that this is on people's minds because it's a really important question. I have an opinion and if you're gonNA guess what my opinion is, which is. Absolutely. So so there's tons of research, and and before we get too far. This is ab absolutely. Bring in a guest expert because this is the kind of lead to. This is the kind of thing where people who know way more about this than we do. But, but there's there's a ton of research out there and people in the nonprofit sector, probably more likely to believe it than people in the corporate sector are that. When you take a stand on social issues, you bring the people that are interested in what you've got to say much closer to you and the people that were never interested in you to begin with are not going to have their minds changed by you taking a stand on a particular social issue. I can talk about my time at three. Square I think I've probably told this story on the podcast before to. We got a handwritten note. A check for I think twenty five dollars on it and the handwritten note said. Here's twenty five dollars. I would like you to use this money to feed American citizens only. Hell I remember that we talked about. It's been two years. We talked about like that right, and and we had no hesitation at the food bank like I. You know I looked at it. I knew what I wanted to do I brought it to the executive or the CEO. I said Hey. This is what we got. This is what I WANNA do. And the blessing was absolutely. That's what you should ride. There was not even any discussion internally about. Let's not hurt her feelings, so we drafted a letter, which said that much your donation. However, we cannot restrict donations specifically to people who are American citizens, and that's it and we returned it back to her with that little note. There's a one hundred percent chance. She never gave another donation to the food bank again, but that was twenty five bucks right, so it was absolutely wasn't a really hard. We weren't selling our morals for a significantly amount at large amount of money was just a very well. And you and I both know that amount of money shouldn't matter. I know within a matter, but like we don't know this reader talks about alienating some or this. You know this person says they're alienating some donors. We don't know what size donors were talking about, but I still. That doesn't make a difference in my opinion. I just think. I would I would say my push pushback to that would be that. What donors are you alienating by? Not taking a stand because there's been a whole I I've been following all these sort of private facebook groups that have nonprofit professionals in groups with you know nonprofit executive directors all over the country that are talking about this and I would say if I were just roughly speaking. Ninety percent of people right now are putting out some statement because a it's so intertwined in every mission out their rates. Social Justice issues are at the core of those I think the key is making sure that it is. Not done in a sloppy manner or a an obligatory manner I. I don't know about you. Andy, but I've seen so many statements that come out that feel like people are doing it to check the box. Instead of actually it's core values. It's the way they work and I. Think People can see through that so I do think you have to be careful about that as an organization, so, but it comes back to your fundamental values. Your mission your how you? who you serve a to me, it feels it just feels like a even if it's a donor on the line like what about the donors who are waiting to see what you say? I think you gotta look at it from both lenses absolutely I mean and you have you make a good point about like especially right now. There's a lot of every corporate PR. Department has put out some sort of statement it says either black lives, matter or something close enough to that that they don't feel like they're actually going to put their foot in anything. They don't mean to put their foot in and and you can tell just by the way they're written whether or not they mean. Whether or not, it's like. I. Read Someplace recently that that saying we need to do better is about the same as hopes and prayers for gun violence like it, it just something that comes out of your mouth, and it means you have absolutely no intention of doing something about it. So when we talk about know in the nonprofit sector. Your your integrity is all you have, and you realize that your people are going to give to you because believe in your mission one hundred percent of the time and some of the other things, so there's there's other studies that are just recent. That are so interesting because they're tangential to this, not the same thing, but it's like if if you find out that there's a charity for that serves cats in a charity. This serves dogs and you're a dog person. You've always been a dog person. You give the dog person charity, and then you read a study or read something in the newspaper that says. The dog charity is. Seventy five percent effective and the cat charities ninety five percent effective. It doesn't matter your dog person. You're still giving to the dog charity, which means that the purpose that caused the reason that you're a nonprofit is always going to be much more important than the individual activities that you undertake and provided. You're not terrible now that you're not coming down on the wrong side of this thing. And if you if you do come down the wrong side of it out, you get what you deserve

John & Chris' Wild West Robot Ranch

"Good Morning Welcome to marketing over coffee. I'm John Wall Christopher Ben and I. Don't even know where to start. Where do we start? It's just I. had this whole insane story that I just refuse to go into about my old neighbors who were being allegedly? An ebay security team for a year. Just like this insane strikes. I'll just throw to that because. That's totally crazy. Things are crazy. Crazy Times ten. But you know the thing. I will say about this from a marketing perspective. Where was the Social Media Monitoring Team Right? Where was the the Alex? Team where the the folks at Ebay who you should have seen because it was not. Something that was kept coat totally quiet this. There's there's been content about this. What happened in its complete failure in your marketing analytics governance where nobody's watching, the someone should have gone through the mentions of the brand and stuff. That doesn't look. We normally don't send bloody pig masks to people. And that's the thing that amazes me. There is just like this line where your company becomes so big that you have these. Black OPS teams. It's like a security blacks OPS team within your own company. You know because you're so big. So. Yeah, just totally nuts and yeah I'm crazy, but it speaks to the need that you absolutely should have human review, and you should be having somebody in your Pr. Your comms team somebody looking at the social media mentions looking at more than just like the line graph of you know. How many mentions you got that day? Actually sampling the data looking in there because you should be able to see. That article looks like it could be a problem. One of the Challenges Crisis Comms is that like for regular social media monitoring pr you can rely line chart of number of mentions went up because you're looking at data and the aggregate when you're doing crisis communications, you have to be looking at every single article because you don't know when the next spark is going to become the next bonfire, so somebody's gotta be reviewing stuff that the software would say hey, this for flagging this even just for questionable with what to do with it, and clearly that was not happening. Yeah, yeah, and so probably best practice would be. You got to get all hands. Anybody that can generate content and understands the company is going to have to transition to watching the feeds during that crisis positions that make sense exactly, and and you need a specialist software for that. Because a lot of social media monitoring tools just kind of like big batch stuff. There's no anomaly tracking in real time in most software packages. So it's important that if a crisis is going to be a problem for your brand, or you see it being a problem, you need to have that real time feed. It should look kind of like you know. The Matrix low at all the walls, going by and things, but without it you will get burned. Yeah, there's just so much that you have to dig into like you said. You have no idea what's coming next and when it will flare up. You had Boston dynamics to selling their robot for seventy five grand. You can go ahead and buy yourself one of these things I don't know. What do you think is? Has the time come for robots I mean there's they actually show in one of the marketing bids it doing patient screening, it can do temperature scan hit people's foreheads, and you don't have staff moving through the office, so it seems like a great application but I don't know what's your overall? Take on the robot revolution. It's an incredible piece of machinery now in the terms of service. If you read it on, the ordering page does say you may not. Use Robots to intimidate or harm people or other animals, and your warranty will be void, and we will revoke permission to use the robot. If you do these things so they they do have the remote kill switch if you start doing stuff that. Should be doing with it that said I want to figure out how much it actually can carry. Because that's totally the kind of thing that you would put a saddle ought and just ride around. Well. This is another thing I've said this before on. The show is that I think they consciously went with creating dog size robot. Because there's no reason they couldn't do one. That's five times the size, except for the fact that would scare the daylights out of everybody on Earth to see this larger than a cow thing barreling down at them. As a side Gig you have a horseriding farm. Wouldn't the ROBOT BE? Great is like the trainer to learn how to ride horse because you know it. You're no danger of getting bucked off because the robot literally will not do that. That is a heck of a question. We could just make a horse suit for one of those, and yes, it would totally behavior. We wouldn't. Even you know. The ring could be fixed. The thing would stay within a foot in every direction wouldn't go to the other big win. I was saying that for here's throwing. Hey, this is the time of year where they're getting six or seven hay wagons a month that need to be the he needs to be loaded and thrown up into the upper barnes and yeah, having a robot do that with just make all that go away instantly. Nobody likes to do that work. At the AG. It's not like we have a line of employees wanting to do it either it's it's quite a struggle,

"bucks" Discussed on Start Here

"So. We told you earlier about this big case. The Supreme Court decided to add to the docket later this year. A case that could conceivably invalidate the entire affordable. Care Act rallied. Yesterday there was a different healthcare case in front of the court about abortion and this was really an even more pressing matter in the sense that this will be decided in just a matter of months. Abc senior Washington reporter Devon Dwyer was there at the court has justices heard these arguments and I remember when this case was brought people said on one hand. Is this huge? Because it's got big implications for abortion rights on the other hand the court already ruled Unin identical case right. So why was this being argued at all ever just four years ago? The Supreme Court struck down a Texas admitting privileges law requiring doctors who perform abortions to be able to get their patients in the hospitals within thirty miles of the clinics means every time. I WANNA walk into an abortion selling our nation. She's going to have to wonder. Will I be coming out alive? The implications of stretch far beyond Texas about two dozen states have similar laws alone behold the at the time passed a nearly identical law. Law was upheld and so the justice at the Supreme Court took it up taking a second look at a nearly identical issues of the question is what chain in a five three decision. Justice Kennedy. The swing vote joined the courts for liberals to rule that the restrictions went too far justice. Anthony Kennedy the famous swing vote. Who decided that case is no longer there. And so this is the first test on abortion For the two conservative justices appointed by president trump. And this new conservative majority. Oh so this. Is this conceivably if there was a conservative majority? That was going to overturn precedent from just a couple of years ago. This would be the court to do it. What what was the sense you got from these justices? As they heard the arguments I was in the courtroom yesterday Brad and right out of the gate the abortion rights group. That was challenging. This Louisiana Law went straight to precedent for years ago. After the we the Anna Today. Very little baffled. The guy in the Middle Brad is chief justice John Roberts. We know that he is supportive. Of the idea of precedent. We also know that he can be something of a broker now on this new corps and he was openly grappling yesterday with this question of how far these admitting privileges laws and the courts Texas decision of just four years ago should apply. We didn't keep this this litigation because we wanted to divide president kept it going because everything about our cases. Different is any hospital. Admitting privileges law for abortion unconstitutional. Do they all create undue burdens? Or is there a chance that the facts in each case state by State Merit special consideration? So one thing we could see the court do is Send this back to a lower court to perhaps review the Louisiana Law in light of Sort of a more modest ruling a middle ground if you will signalling to all these states that we've seen line up over the past year with new regulations that they need to tailor them in a certain way to pass muster at the court and despite the complications doesn't sound that complicated to the ears of Democrats had Chuck Schumer essentially saying this is just this. Just them trying to essentially try a new case with better judges. Yeah anytime abortion comes at the Supreme Court. It is explosive. My name is renee bracy sharpen. We saw that yesterday at times in the Supreme Court Chamber which was packed members of Congress at the Front row representatives from planned parenthood representatives from right to life movements. All packing this room ask. The argument was going on Brad. The top Democrat in the US Senate Chuck Schumer of New York was out on the front steps of the Supreme Court calling out the conservative justices by name. I want to tell you I wanna tell you Kevin off. You have released the long wind and you will pay the price in those comments Brad. In extraordinary public direct response from the chief justice himself just hours after the argument concluded he put on paper statement. Rebuking Schumer for those comments calling them. A direct attack on Sydney members of the core. Schumer's office tells. Abc News that he was simply referring to Republicans their Senate Republicans. They're the ones that will pay the price in November. And you'll never be able to do what you're trying to do now ever ever again here that over there on the far right you're gone in November as you will but it is unmistakable. His words used the word you quite a few times and talking about those two members of the court and of course president trump himself has also criticised justices also by name. But he's also been swatted at not quite as directly by Chief Justice John Roberts before. But it's John Roberts. China play referee in all of this desert wire. Thanks so much. They spread and one last thing you know. Instagram Kinda pulled a snapchat when it introduced stories. Well then it's parent facebook instagram. I guess as did what's APP and Youtube. Even dating APPs tried something like this will now. Twitter is trying to pull up all of them. That's right. Twitter is testing out stories feature little snapshots of your day. That will go away within twenty four hours. They're called fleets get it. They're like tweets but more anyway the idea is you'll have your twitter feed but then at the top you'd see little circles that look just like instagram stories of those your fleets which weird here is all those other services. I mentioned pictures and videos thing right. Well here it's mainly just quick messages. And what world do you WanNa see an even more temporary version of someone's twitter post? I'm glad you asked because critics of said look at the problem with twitter right now. It's not that it's too temporary is that it's too easy to get harassed by strangers will here. You'd have a new way to potentially make quick thoughts accessible to a smaller universe of people your actual friends although there's another thing at work here too because in a culture where more people are deleting their tweets wary of getting canceled. Will now this new service being tested in Brazil it? I will do that for you. Here's my issue like. I follow friends on Instagram and facebook. I WanNa see their stories. I follow thousands of people on twitter. Who I just do not want to click through each of their thoughts throughout the day. I'd start here tomorrow. If you hit subscribe remember. The show will just be waiting on your phone every morning. It's easy all these stories. Abc News Dot Com where the ABC's. Brad Mielke see tomorrow..

"York about a thousand people ordered to self quarantine. Al- possibly connected to one patient in this hospital but also little things the release of the upcoming twenty fifth James Bond Film. No time to die has been pushed back from April to November amid corona virus. Concerns like at one point yesterday to pack of pure real was being resold on Amazon. For one hundred seventy dollars so lots of uncertainty out there and I wanNA bring. Abc's and Flaherty who covers federal agencies to break down the US governmental response here so an Congress got it's eight billion dollars right like two months after all the fear started. What what does that actually get us? That's right it. Gets you quite a bit. Actually I think there were. No expenses spared in this one Eight point three billion dollars. That's about triple of what trump initially said he wanted. I asked for two and a half billion. It looks like they're going to give us eight and a half billion. I don't think that's ever happened to me before. Three Billion Dollars for vaccines and therapies They're also talking about low interest loans for small businesses. That that's gotTA help Some of the investors on that and then also one million dollars to fight The Corona virus overseas. So that it doesn't come to the United States and you had mentioned How few people were being tested in this country right like South Korea? They're testing the ten thousand people a day or something here. It's not nearly that much. Is that about to turn a corner? Is that another thing the government can do right. That's been a big problem since this started but there are two things that have happened one. Is that the. Us government has contracting with a private company. They think that there's about twenty five hundred kits that can go out by the end of this week. An in each kit is five hundred tests. So that's you do the math. It's one point two five million US That's going to be available to the American public. Our objective ultimately in quickly as possible is to have tests made through these commercial laboratories and commercial providers. That your local doctor. Your your. Cvs Your Med check is able to have a corona virus test the other thing that the CDC did was they relaxed the rules on these labs that they can start developing their own tests. So it's possible. That hospitals will be able to test people in real time I do believe they still have to send the results to a CDC lab to get verified. But that's GONNA change a lot. For as far as access goes for the American people in the private health insurance of every American as well as covered by Medicare and Medicaid. But I do want to make a point on this Brad. Is that one point. Two five million tests. It's still a fraction of the American public. And that's going to create some interesting issues when people start calling their doctor and say okay. You have the test. Can I get tested? I have a cough. You how does it? Do you know how that works if if you are feeling under the weather do you just you able to test when you if you call the hospital like what happens? Well it's going to depend on where you live and it's going to depend on your symptoms and it's going to depend on what access to the tests that they have at that particular time. I think there's going to be priority. Given to people in Places Lake Washington state researchers here in Washington tell us that their analysis of samples of the virus strongly suggests it has been spreading in this state for the past six weeks but You know one of the things that's going to happen. Doctors are going to become the gatekeepers on this. This is important because it frees clinicians doctors to be able to test people for Corona virus without restriction using their clinical judgment based on signs and symptoms. So if your doctor says well have you had a fever cough We're in an area where there's a large outbreak. Maybe it would make sense to test you. Cdc now moving to rapidly expand the number of Americans who can get tested now for the corona virus. But the question tonight. Are there enough tests? Available one concern. I did talk to a health official. Who said you know? What if there are fraudulent doctors out there? Who want to give bogus tests are went to sell tests and stuff. So that's actually like another concern of this that without any sort of government regulation there could be a flip side so I do think that people need to be aware of scams and they need to be working with a legitimate doctor and somebody who they trust on this yuccas according purell and begging for tests is not really where we wanna be going here on both sides that equation though people trying to keep the supply going in public health information flowing as well and thank you all right. Thanks.

"I think Toronto or Boston is going to give them a series. I don't think they're gonNA cake. Walk through these. I don't think Miami can give him a series regular season success notwithstanding Philly. I just I picked him to make the finals before the season. My locked into that take does that mean. I have to pick them now. And how does this work? How does this work right now? I'm picking the bucks to make the finals when the playoffs start but I do think one of those teams I think. Those teams have the personnel to make them sweat more than the ten game differential in the standings would indicate and that there will be a moment of stress in either one of it has to be the conference finals. That's looking like those teams are going to go one two three so I guess what I'm saying is in the comfort. The conference finals. I think Milwaukee will have a moment where they are seriously tested and if things go wrong in that moment if we see last season's Eric Bledsoe and George Harrison the same time if x Y Z. I think they could be slightly vote more than slightly vulnerable. But I but that I right now I think they come out of the east. I think they're the overwhelming repeats more loudly for the bucks fans overwhelming favorites to come out of the East But I think one of those teams has the goods to push them. Yeah I think you're not even there. It sounds like you're expecting. Just I'm not gonNA listen all season long. The Raptors have demonstrated. They have more defensive creativity than any team in recent memory. I mean they have an ability to respond with tailored solutions for difficult ups and I suspect in a seven game series. They're gonNA figure that out at least two games and then let the chips fall where they may and it's GonNa it's GonNa require family going crazy or norm Powell is becoming this. You know this multipurpose guard who who can attack and just completely scramble and again when you go back to Boston I just. I love the amount of ground. That defense covers like fluently with absolute promptness. I just I've enjoyed watching the Celtics. Defense I love how they impact the ball like I love how they they kind of. They they scrammed they rotate out beautifully. And he just reminds me of like a really kind of spurs defence from back in the day. I it's just it's it's it's on a string all those cliches. I just think Boston's really good. While and they're really getting again. What would would would tatum is doing. Like I love the he's working. You know much much less off you know kind of you know of isolation 's and now they're kind of he's he's become a dribble handoff pick and roll guy. Who by the way? If you need to a fire drill can still be your guy with six seconds on the clock Kemba Kemba pull up three guy obviously over the Lopez dropped now on the other side like I said if Kemp is on the floor. I and and it's struggled time a little bit for the bucks. It's close like I. I want. I want them to give you honest the ball or put them in a pick and roll one way or the other and say whereas Kemba Walker Hunt him down and then look I also think the Celtics are really good. The Celtics have proven. They are really really good when one of their four best players Hayward tatum Brown Kemba doesn't play like when when Kemp was off the floor. And it's like smart. They're starting lineup. But essentially smart in chemists place dinner really hard to score on God their good defensively by the way. How much fun also teams? This'll be the third year in the row. If that matchup surfaces that they've I I kind of like I I wouldn't call it a rivalry but it's been a very interesting chess match to watch the other the well. So here's the speaking of Boston. The flip side of are we overreacting to four straight losses to a championship team last year. Did we also overreact or or should we check ourselves on like when so MILWAUKEE SWEEPS DETROIT? That was not a team. Blake didn't play. They're not worthy playoff opponent. Then they rampaged Boston for one. Winning the two in in the garden in TD Lorna go up three one end. The Celtics is we know that as they were last year. Did we give them? Maybe too much credit for that. Like that. Celtics team was kind of falling apart. Marcus Smart told me honest. On on this podcast. A couple of months ago that after they lost game two he kinda feel the team splintering and knew it was going to be over like you know so. I think I think if there's skepticism some of it stems from well did they. Did they really do much in the playoffs last year like really? I think it's interesting where you come out on. Are we making too much of the four straight losses to the raptors or? Did we make too much of the first two rounds. I think both those things honestly could sure. Yeah I mean I would say that Milwaukee has something to do with the ultimate disintegration and they were falling apart at the seams but they have by the way they also. If I recall correctly dominated a game one do they not I was are the Celtics Celtics with the Celtics. One game one by it had had had had had a very prominent role in in shoveling dirt on the two thousand nineteen o question. No question and that's what I I. I was so impressed with how they went to Boston. And just drilled them in those two games is that both. Those.

"Thing about this is in Toronto. Hurt them with this last year to. He's not Lebron has a passer and that's obviously not a not a not really a kind of an unfair knock that but he didn't react to super well too hard double team last year or like how unpredictable. Help or like help. That came to him when he was spinning in a little blind to it and I'm sure we will see teams. Mix Up that kind of stuff and say beat us with the pass and it's going to be really interesting to see how he can do it because he is a very good passer. He's become a very good passer but he but he. He didn't react well in some circumstances to that last writer. Cherry picking granted. There's a play in the third quarter against o'casey the other night where jaanus is doubled exactly talking about on the left block and he finds continent in the weak side. Right corner in a way that I I think there is. I have no explanation. For how he sought and how he timed it and how he ultimately threaded the needle. It was so ridiculous and I think comments and missed the shot but it again. It was something I kind of went to the game to look at. You know Mr you know having the conversation with him twenty four hours before. I'M NOT GONNA jump over five guys right all right okay. So he's going to double him tonight. I'm I'm fairly certain of that That's not a reach and I WANNA see how I'm going to watch it again and again like He. He's better at it now again. The the pressure of the defense the Ba- creates a situation. Where the impulse of the guy who has been passing beautifully out of double teams all winter just now he wants to jump over five guys and we'll see I mean so much of what we're talking about is is Kanye honest do X. Can Paul George Y when you talk about these primary players? It's really a question of impulse. I mean they all have ridiculous repertoire of skills. It's how do you apply? I mean in in listening to kind of Jaanus say that is this now. Gives me something new to watch like? He's going to encounter scheme similar to Toronto threw at him last season. And and what are his impulses at that moment the deeper in the series and the closer the Games yet. I'm just and I think if the impulses are good. I think overwhelming favorites. I think it's ridiculous that they're not regard especially coming out of the east. I mean talking about the Lakers or clippers. I mean those I mean they're gonNA have harder arguably ardor second round series than in the bucks probably encounter and the conference finals. Although I am I am becoming a big believer in both Toronto in Boston. I mean the those are fun conference final. I'm looking forward to Eastern Conference. Finals of great deal The other thing with Lopez and I'm glad you brought up Coniston who I think is underrated and still a little bit underutilised by Bud The other thing they can do and have have done is take Lopez off the floor more. If it ever really becomes a problem they could just play honest at center or this Jaanus Marvin Williams thing you know. Whoever IS THE CENTER? Usually honest has been guarding the centers lately. Ilyasova has mostly been excised from their rotation which I think is is. I don't trust yourself in the playoffs. I just don't i. I know that I'm a little lower on him than most people I just don't trust his his foot speed. I don't trust his jumper as much But they can go to these JANAS AT CENTER LINE UPS which they've leaned a little bit more into this year Obviously they have both Lopez twins so they can play a traditional center the whole game both those guys are good players and again in the east. They may not run. They may not run into matchup period. That troubles the Lopez twins On defense but they can go that way with the honest at center if they want. And I think that's when that's when the name Brogden becomes comes back into the conversation because then you need an extra perimeter guy and you look at those lineups and it's like yeah bledsoe. Just make it up. Bledsoe Hill Middleton Janas forgive the fifth spot to whoever West Matthew Trust Stephen Central yet. Oh I'm glad you brought up the yes I kind of trailing Jan even though can play even chancellor can play. He's a fantastic rebound or he's a very instinctual player. He's really really smart and his shot. Although it comes and goes I think I. It looks good and I. I sent my trusted And I think basically like that's what you're betting on with Brogden and they bet correctly. So far is it's not just it's not just the added depth than there they. They go twelve deep and good players. I argued this last week. I think every single player on their team is better than they were last year. Everyone and that includes Brook Lopez Shooting. Twenty eight or twenty nine percent from three. Because I think he's better defensively. I think is floor game. He's better he's making like off. The dribble passes and stuff because postgame better. I think diva show has gone from out of the rotation to like spot starter slash. Maybe their sixth man. Everyone on this team is better. And so when you go back and look as wiser. Lingering doubt will the lingering doubt is this? This are are we overreacting to four straight losses to a really great team a championship team as the bucks sort of went through some growing pains in. Bledsoe in particular went through some growing pains. Are we overreacting to that? Part of how we the collective we might be overreacting to. That is sort of wrongly assuming stasis for everybody else from that moment to this one whereas I think everyone on the team is better period right you know. I wrote this in the piece. We tend to that stasis it just we actually act as if when a team has bounced out in. May that they they somehow are the same team that arrives eleven months later. It's just ridiculous like like this it also. I mean here's what I would say generally speaking I think there's a great overlap in the Ven Diagram among people who are skeptical of the bucks if people who generally rightly subscribed to certain tropes about NBA Basketball for instance. Every team that ever got there kind of had to take their lumps early. They going back to the Pistons. Had to get you know bumped around by the Celtics and the eighties. And I I kind of grew up watching those series and then and then this you know and then the bowls kind of got you know. Bout kicked around by the Pistons and then they had a moment where they kind of prevailed over there tormentors and that I mean they're very few teams that just to just warriors their way to the first. So if we're writing the story book of the Milwaukee Bucks and the Confetti is following falling in Milwaukee this season in this June you know we will talk about the Toronto series as being an you know one of the great catalysts for their growth. I mean that's what generally happens. Teams get embarrassed or they run up against their worst instincts or they're not flexible and you know perhaps in the on the bench or you know they don't find the right right shots for the right guy. All of that happened. And then you basically have eleven months to say okay. What are the corrective measures here and all? You can judge a team on between October and April is. Are they putting those prescriptions in place? And the answer is when you watch this team as you and I do a lot. I'm seeing I'm seeing all of these deficiencies attacked. I'm seeing you know again. The the these these these more conventional steps for guys who need a little convict who needs four minutes conventional basketball here and there you know I'm seeing. Some of the depth issues is good as they were last year off the bench. You know they've gotten better. And so yeah I'm a defender and there's look it's ridiculous to get red in the face about you know okay. How dare you doubt this team? I'm just I'm bullish because again I'm seeing the things that I would have wanted to see. Have you asked me in October? What do you want to see from the bucks that would allay any fears or or skittishness you have about their playoff prospects? I'm kind of seeing that. I'd like to see you gonNA shoot a little better from the foul line Yeah that's why we took a tech. I guess they were up by thirty. Maybe he is shoot. You know what he's he's down to sixty three percent at the line. That makes me a little bit nervous to my point in your point about everyone being better. Here's just one example. Chris Middleton pick and rolls ready for this. I looked up the tracking data on this last season point nine eight points per possession. Anytime Middleton shot out of a pick and roll or pass to a teammate. Shot right away. That's bad One point zero nine points per possession period like featuring everything that happens after this season his pick and roll volume is a little up one point. Oh eight points anytime. He or his teammates shoots one point two two points per possession just monster monster numbers from from Middleton and he's running a lot more of them to or not a lot but a little bit more He's having just an absolutely fantastic the thing I would say when they again. I'm just curious like when they play Philly and they put him on on Jaanus or whenever they face a team that puts their center on us. I do sometimes wish they would use Janas the screener in pick and rolls a little bit. Like get that guy like. Don't let him be. Just load up on a runway for Jaanus but making move and cover a ball handler just for a second so. Janas has a little window of space. That's another adjustment that like to see them do more but again they've just may not face. They may not face a series where that really unless they face philly where they're really sort of worried about okay. This big center is actually sort of making. Janas sweat a little bit right or do you have any doubt that if employed that way that John is isn't the best diver in rim runner in the League. I mean Off The screen. I mean it's it's it's kind of terrifying to think about it meets with. We said that about three years about Lebron I mean I remember all of us like what are we going to see the Wade Lebron pick and roll with Lebron as the screener and by way it produced insanely efficient offense. Here's where I am on the Bucks on March Third Twenty Twenty as the world slowly spins until its ending. I'M GONNA pick the bucks gather east.

"The low post. Podcast where we have hit the seventy five percent mark of the NBA season which among other things means that. It's time to get serious about Milwaukee Bucks Pursuit of seventy wins and our friend Kevin Arnovitz frequent guests on the low post. Espn MBA rhetoric. Ordinary was just in Milwaukee and timely for us the bucks actually lost last night in Miami on the second end of a back the back is Bam out of bio and company held honest to thirteen points. Mr Arnovitz back in Los Angeles. How are you? I'm well? How were you always appreciate the am well? I forget every time that you do that so every time. It's a surprise. How IS MILWAUKEE? Milwaukee is lovely. I am A. I'm a fan of the Milwaukee. Market was Ridiculously cold though. I was told it wasn't and to trips to Kopp's frozen custard. I had it. I did kind of a Wednesday Friday working toward the cookies and cream in In the butter pecan but It's Milwaukee's functional. It's good. It's a fun place to watch basketball. That building is nice. The team is interesting. The people in it are happy it is the happiest place on NBA Earth. Right now. The Milwaukee Bucks. Let me ask you this when you left Milwaukee to come back to Los Angeles. How many people were in the security line at the airport like one on Saturday morning? It's it's like flying out of the seven. Eleven Zach is so easy. It's the only place where I've ever had in my life. Zero people in the line and the guard being like no no Sir come on. Let's go I wanNA talk to somebody. Come come come say item. E was great So so the bucks are fifty two and nine. They are on pace for seventy wins on the dots. Sixty nine point nine The geeks at five thirty eight. Give them something based on their Remaining schedule like twenty eight percent chance of reaching seventy wins and I have to say I want them to go for it and we had a by the way. Go forward strong because they're barely playing their main player. Jaanus is averaging thirty minutes. A Game Middleton is not cracking thirty and so it's not like they are pressing for seventy wins. Which is part of what makes it scary. But we had this debate. Before countdown on Friday was me and Paul Pearson Jay Williams and a few other people and Paul is just still firmly on the side of seventy. Three wins means nothing because they didn't win the championship and I completely disagree. I think the longer we get out in history the more we will look back on that. Seventy-three wins and say. Yeah you know. That's a huge disappointment. That draymond Green Punch Lebron the testicles and they didn't win the championship and that's a failing as they did. They did not accomplish their goal. In that sense it's a failure but I I do think that accomplishment is going to grow in appreciation as we. I already appreciate it and I think as time goes by that accomplishment will be respected for what it was as its own separate thing and my thing has always been ahead you get X. amount of chances at greatness that's it they're gonNA come in they're gonna go for whatever reason they're gonNA come and go fast. If you don't have to really like bust your ass like you don't have to play. Janas forty five minutes down the stretch. If you're within if you have a shot at it I say go for this history man. This this means something to me. And that's seventy three win season for the warriors still means something to me so I am on team go for it I care I have no idea if the bucks actually care. I have not asked one person on the bucks. Do you care about seventy wins. Do you think they care. Only marginally I think one of the reasons the warriors cared if they'd already want it title so it was this additional achievement within the larger well realm of their greatness. I think with the bucks right. Now there's such a focus on this title I think privately some of them would like to but not at the expense of sacrificing. Anything about the two thousand twenty. I'm just saying if you're at sixty nine on the last game of the season play everybody. That's all I'm saying I've I don't know who their last games against. I haven't checked. I don't particularly care if you're at sixty eight with two games left sixty seven with three. Try Try until it's mathematically impossible. That's all I'm asking. The thing is they are an advanced performance team. When that means is march fifteenth is sort of the moment where they want Yonathan all the guys at peak fitness in there will probably be it. I would imagine There would probably be a tapering. After that where we're not gonNA see as much of Janas between March fifteenth and April. Eleven over that matters much. Chris Middleton or Eric Bledsoe or anybody else It's just kind of how they're programmed as a team like you don't invest in the stuff in the not follow it. Unless of course he wants seventy wins in which case for seventy three wins in which case you know. Sure go forward but I I just. I don't have an expectation that they're going to be a just a balls to the wall April team. I just don't see it even if they're flirting with seventy while they're still I think like plus six per one hundred possessions or plus five and a half per one hundred possessions without Jaanus which is equivalent to like a top five or so point differential for a team so theoretically they should be able to taper. I tapered when I was a swimmer. Tapering was great. It meant just easier. Practices was awesome because swimming sucks I they they still be able to win A lot of games swings great. I just swim like three hours ago. Swimming terrible it was. Amazing is the worst eighty. Four years old is the last thing I'm able to do. I'll I'll say this I was. I was a competitive swimmer. And it's just two things number one. Any sport is more fun with the ball and teammates and swimming. You have teammates. What's not like actual teammates? It's just sort of guys sharing the pool with you and your racing. It's the other team in their clock and just going up and down. It's just pain. All it is is like pain at various speeds and intervals with various and leg movements. It's just pain. It's just okay for any sport with no people in no devices is amazing in meditative. And it's like it's it's my it's I call it my thirty minutes of sanity see I but the other thing too big to be great at swimming and I was not and I think this is true of tennis and running and any individual sport. That is physically taxing in an endurance. Way I think you have to like half a screw loose to be great at those sports. Because I was a distance swimmer now is of mediocre to good distance swimmer. Medial distance by the way in context of is because I was never a competitive swimmer. Five hundred I'm a guy who does a mile three or four days a week. Five hundred freestyle That's a cap. That's five hundred meters. Yeah that's nothing. That was the longest race in. I'm doing sixteen hundred. Yeah that was the longest off. Look at this Oh my God so I on our team which was a state championship team. Every year I was mediocre and the scheme of things. I was very good but the way to get really good at distance. Swimming is just a sprint. Like just trick your mind into be like I'm just GonNa Sprint until I can't do it anymore and I'm going to slow down and pace myself whereas I was a wimp and or seen I'd like to think San like I'm just going to pace myself out of the gate because during the first thing like pushing myself beyond my limits and sprinting when I have a lot of race left just seems like pain and I don't WanNa do that I don't use your NBA. You said your mediocre like who? Who are you like in in the if you were to apply your your NBA analog to highschool swing were you a DJ Augustine Augustine of the pool? Yeah I was a much better water polo player than I was a swimmer. I'VE NOT GONNA cut myself water polo but I was. I was swimming. I didn't I didn't have the mentality to be great at it so anyway. The Bucks now that we board your audience the bucks So you nailed it in this piece. You were there when they beat Oklahoma City by a million points. Just I didn't watch the game to me. I just saw the score and it was like when a monster marshes somebody in a video game and they go flat on the floor and you wrote this piece about how. There's this sort of lingering like in Holland you wrote about this a couple weeks ago just sort of. Why are the bucks just not overwhelming favorites? They're fifty two and nine. They have the best point differential in the lead. Like almost by double the runner up at this point and one of the best in the history of basketball every macro marker pegues them as a gigantic overwhelming favourite. And yet I don't. They are certainly not considered that. I'm not even sure. They're considered the favourite period. I don't even think fivethirtyeight has them as number one championship odds right now and you sort of tried to answer this question of why and so. The answers are obvious right. They lost in the playoffs last year. Jaanus his jumper still shaky suspicion. That Middleton is not a classic number two option Blah Blah. We can debate all of those. What I'm interested in is where Kevin Arnovitz do you fall on? The are we overlooking the obvious in the room? Here which is the bucks are going to destroy everybody. I mean I don't have any reason not to regard them as the overwhelming favourite other than the sneaking suspicion that teams furnished with guys who've gone it before our favorites over teams. That don't have those guys. And so you know you're talking about Lebron Kawai essentially in Los Angeles and I mean really nobody else I mean. I don't know that there is A. Is there another even remote contender? That has a top performer. Who quote has been there I I don't think the answer's yes so any add to that. Of course that they're in the east and I just have a trouble like I wonder if there was a different name on the Jersey. Would we even be having this conversation? Is there some? I'm kind of interested in the weather. It's rational or irrational. What what prompts. People to doubt the bucks I mean. Is it that game. Three team on the rope. So you lack the Kim. Killer mentality Is it that we are more comfortable with the notion of a of a top performer?.

"Coli have enough night. Yes, that is when. You need a dependable two in Lebron's five off nights. Anthony Davis and four of them has been on his average above. Three off nights Paul. George has been on his average, or above it Janas had a rare stinker. Middleton was awful last year, and the Toronto series they needed Khris Middleton one game over fifteen points. His only decent game was in a blowout, whereas points weren't needed or helpful. Last night is why I don't think Milwaukee can win. This league is not about your star. If it was Lebron would've on eight straight titles if it was about your star that Houston would always get the conference finals. It is about your two because one. Give you thirty. When the warriors had their dynasty Staffordshire to closure three in Miami. dwayne wager to Chris Bosh is a hall of Famer at three. Chris Middleton's be plus NBA player. Here's that well. He's still all star. However you slice it. The distinction is how you're. One in to fit. Ken My one still be Uber, efficient and effective when the ball is in my number two hands. Lebron is not good that way. Jaanus is not good that way, so they've built these teams. This is why I reject the notion that when a team fails. It's because of the supporting cast. I heard the same thing when the Philadelphia Seventy sixers went to the finals with Alan Iverson, and it was like Oh, if only had a little more help. If only he had stars. No, they put together a team that allowed the ball always to be an allen's hands and for. For him to do essentially whatever he wanted, and everybody else has to take care of spacing the floor, doing the dirty work defending and knowing that you may not get touches in your role may change from night tonight. That's what the Milwaukee Bucks are around Jaanus. And for them to be efficient, it's it's the way they're built, but it's the way to maximize what you get out of Janas. The beauty of the Golden State Warriors is. When clay would go crazy. Steph still could be effective. And if Steph was going crazy, clay could still be a factor as a defensive weapon or just as a floor spacer. If you honest doesn't have the ball in his hands, and he's standing out on the perimeter to create space and average team. You don't. You don't have to guard him. You don't have to stay out. Out there, I'll lift with you shooting threes Janas that is not going to hurt me, so that's where the same thing with Lebron. He's gotten much better, but he's he doesn't. He just looks totally uncomfortable. When the ball is enhanced, he stands out there waiting for his turn so I. Just I am reluctant. Derrick rose went to the conference finals in the East with A. Complimentary crew far worse than either one that Janas in the. East is better today than that year, isn't it? As the Miami Heat were. Had their their big three at that time. That's who they lost two in the conference finals, so I'm not sure I would say that. I I feel we make way too many excuses for the superstar and say if only he had more help. It depends if the superstar always had the ball in his hands, and we give you that luxury. Then my feeling is no. You need to get better to maximize what you have random, and by the way bucks without Janas playing or five and one this year. That tells me there's enough talent. Talent there to win all right Rick Bucur is GonNa join us on the next side. The WESTBROOK Phenomenon Zion Williamson little bit more on Lebron, don't go anywhere like Lebron over Janas MVP. "Submissions. I would say last call for submissions. And if we're doing Licorice whip we gotta get those those foot long twizzlers and maybe just wait till the end of the week when supposed to get a little nicer out here. It's supposed to rain for the next couple of days. I can't be getting whipped But Anyway Yeah. Get your suggestions. He's still got a good one but we're starting all over boys. We are into March. What is our game tonight? We're all at zero zero big on in the Eastern Conference the bucks at the heat heat getting three and a half points at home so they can lose by three or less if you're picking them it's on. Nba TV. There are great home team. They're twenty five and four at home but John is is ball at forty and twenty on Sunday. It's a back to back from occupied. That was a very very early Sunday afternoon. Games true. That's like thirty two hours. In between Games Middleton. I think he's probable to play in sort of a late scratch on Sunday. Sword knacker something first. Milton has yeah neck try. He's got an Christmas bracket tries. That guy around here so I thought he would be up to speed on turtledove today. Plus Three and a half. Well you got bucks. It's tough it is a back to back for the bucks. So you're thinking maybe this loose but they just smashed the raptors in the same scenario a week ago Miami. Wow Miami okay Miami to cover Gimme Milwaukee by three and a half assed anything. I just think like the bucks to you. Know coming up that they didn't shoot the ball. Well I just don't I don't see that two games especially the Middleton's back in the mix so I think Milwaukee covers two games in a row. They're they're struggling or their starters have struggled so Even though they went six in a row they've been playing well. The heater foreign six over the last ten. But I'm taking Milwaukee the heat beat Milwaukee in the second game of the season who had something in the back of his forget. He doesn't all right. Trey only one taking Miami and the points. "No Ghazal still no surgery bucket and no Fred Van Vliet but we have seen throughout this season so many times someone from the raptors bench just steps up like Chris Boucher or turn stivers. Whoever it is. That just didn't really happen. This game became a blow up. It really wasn't a blowout until the last couple of minutes. So the raptors were put up a fight within punching distance with the BAT. Four and a half minutes to go and the wheels just fell off a little bit at the end there and Denver. Also I play the great game. I thought I thought Jamal Murray was was brilliant again. Yokich another triple double and Yokich looked aggressive early on the nuggets. Were hitting threes. They couldn't miss him. I was not yet so the thing is the raptors now the trump three in a row. So this is this is still somehow holding on to second the Celtics. Losing of guests on Saturday not help they caused but the raptors have been very resilient this season when faced with injuries. And Kyle lowry after the game. You know someone said health plan you gotTA play hot a man no excuses and I liked that mentality because I think that hold them in good stead. I guess come playoff time knowing that. There's no excuses this time. They learned last year playing with their. Why doesn't matter? We still are very very good team. Og was great. Yesterday had seven steals. He he's very very. He's a quiet light at times at times. The ball hocking hills. So yeah so I give the raptors lose it just because they didn't win any games this weekend. I'm not saying nicely done. I'm not saying you're not writing them their chances to the first round or something like that. Yuccas Yucca. In the fourth quarter last night too was just. He couldn't get his usual go through him and he wasn't able to to a horrible game. Yeah he's sitting there. The horrible fourth quarter. I thought that's the worrisome. Part is passed calcium struggling against good teams. It's happened all season long. He hasn't been effective as a number. One guy it's kind of expected. This is his first foray into this role. But that's the worrisome. Part for this team going forward. Not that they lose to the nuggets without a center. Really starting running Hollis Jefferson against Nico Yokich. You're in bad shape that just that's not gonNA work out. But they all the nuggets in the kicked their button fast-break points. They're trying to shove it down their throat and they were in half court execution. The nuggets were doing that. They won that game because they're just more talented top to bottom with all those injuries. The bigs and Fred family so Pesky Pesky is the issue Pascal. Ceac think good news on the Injury Front is Gonzalo was working up a sweat to bring it back to that pre game so I think he's pretty close to returning. Yeah and they. They need to get him in here for this little homestretch as you head into the playoffs you got comfortable with each other. Because he's been there for a while now over a year but you gotta get some reps in nurse gotta get a little more comfortable. Even though he'll change them on the fly and all that with the rotations. And who's playing when you started shorten down a little bit? But I'm not you know as a wraps fan not panicking despite the losses. Because you know if they're missing their three of their best players. That is very very tough. It's similar to what was going on with the clippers away when they were without some of their key. Guys Beverly and George in and out of the lineup and other guys like it's like Oh Dan. They're on a three game losing streak. Well don't worry when their guys are there added. The Bucks was one of those losses as well so that they're at the son's next side. There's a chance to at least they get back in the W we'll see. I don't count your chickens before they hatch all right. Who Do you got trae losers weekends well trae young? It has made it a habit and made his signature dribbling play to nutmeg guys. He got RJ Barrett this year. Ricky Rubio Will Bharti Got James Harden in the All Star game but one man he didn't get was trevor. Felt like a Simpson's episode. Old Man Yells at Guard trae young tries to go through his legs and Trevor Rees. It gives them the Robert. Ory Body. Eerily reminiscent basically. The same. Hit sends trae young flying in to trace credit and it seemed like he's like okay. Yeah he's pretty mad at me. Yeah I'll just chill out a little bit. Afterwards though Trevor Aretha had one of the most boomer quotes of all time. He said he'd told Jason Quick. The athletic I told trae young. Don't do that again not to me. At least I'd never made an all defensive team or none of that. He's an all star so we can get by me in creative ways he can get around me. But although like funnies funnies what a paper how old is this guy I looked it up? He's only thirty four but this sounds like it would have been set in nineteen thirty four. It's funny it's funny. Because after the game immediately they win talked bad found him a reason like it was being played off what happens on the court stays on the court but I felt theresa grabbed him and yanked him in there as if to say. Don't do that to me again. Think I think he already been there and found him and seek them out immediately after the game to say hey man like I'm not what the funny not with the funnies and like trade. Twenty-one what's in a way to apologise maybe the extra wet also. We're not doing that to me to your world. Barton's do I was. I was conflicted like I didn't know where I'm glad you put them in a loser here. Reason maybe because of the quote Morton anything but like I was like. Is that a winner of the weekend. Also sort of like the idea of like. You're not doing that to me. I don't mind it like it's like okay. You got clown but you buy. I don't care just because he's a little bit. I guess yeah but then I also see it from flipside like come on man. Maybe he's also looking at looking that great things. Yeah exactly right. So what do you think this does infiltrate trae going forward to see? Maybe stop doing auto. Does he go back to keep doing. It picks targets like he's GonNa go for a younger gone not a vet checks their ide- before he doesn't excuse me. Are you with the funniest bad choice? See like I think he's a bit. That's what I'm saying. I think it actually. It's more the the personality of less the age I think particular player like there are going to be some guys that are going to be offended by that. Just don't Wanna be embarrassed like that so hold on who likes getting the ball put through thorough. They can take though they can take. It is the better way to put some obviously Trevor Rees cannot he literally like I'm bout to get clowned here and I'm going to be on? Haussa highlight was on anyway. He was on but he's also like no. We're doing this in my way so I'm just going to body check into the front row any right. I thought trae young handling like if you don't want me drilling through your legs. I won't just yell at me. Knocked me over. I'm alright I'll get somebody else. The next game that sense of humor okay. That's a great one. That's a fun loser the weekend tasks that you got Lebron James Loser. I thought he was great this weekend. He was but there were a couple Internet worthy moments in a negative way. Just like getting the ball put in through your legs. What RON NASTY NASTY FLOP? When Dillon Brooks hit him on Saturday he flopped like a madman. He taught basically Lebron's crown got touch. Where where's his hairline starts at the three point line and he flailed backwards like he was hammered. And unfortunately for him. This clip is going around in super slow mo so it looks like there's like a two to three second delay. There's like a beat beat flailed I. It was quick but it looks terrible. Also on Sunday late in the game. I think it was about a minute. Thirty left. Lebron one of the smartest players in the history of basketball goes to inbound it and just starts walking like he's playing a pick up game he didn't inbound it at all and so the the old crossing the baseline wissel don't see that too often the weirdest and the best player of all time to ever do it. Doris Burke on the call for that one. She like she was going crazy. Like wow. What's going on here the Brain Fart. Yeah the weekend. We'll see the old loop see. Yeah that was weird but happens to the best of them. Yup Lebron a tough loser the weekend. It was pretty good. Hey He's MVP he's MVP. How can you be a loser? Didn't even while he lost on Saturday. I mean there was a pretty big difference between losing Lebron on Saturday winning Lebron on Sunday like he just showed up from skip on Sunday and he was chilling out on Saturday. Was it the fact that it was a nationally televised game. Perhaps there's cars them up but they're eight and no on the second of backtracks pretty sweet. Sweet for the Lakers bounced back. No matter what happens. Few many losers is a weekend here. Let's get them in Scotty pippin. He admitted on Friday. That the dunk contest judges messed up the final round scores. This is pip quote. We punch the scores in and came up wrong. We thought we were going to give them both a tie. Now THIS IS PIP. Was on the five-judge panel with Common Way candace. Parker Shadwick and pippen. So he says this is now the second time we've heard this sort of account from what happened. Is that the judges were planning on tying Gordon jumps over Taco fall. They'll give him a forty eight. That'll time with Jerry. Jones probably get like sort of one more round here. There'll be some way to decide but he wouldn't call out who specifically it was. I'm sure they'll still think he's leaning towards Dwayne Wade. But he wouldn't name them but pippen said the judges entered their scores and then they sort of noticed the mystique but they were locked out of the system like once your scores in. I don't think you can go start changing it you know. Yeah and then you know Gordon was a forty seven Jerry Jones Junior. You Win the are you saying the judges should just have the author be so much. Lay Down Pippen going on that Steph. Curry what happened that loser. The weekend of the warriors for lying to US Liars Steph curry was reportedly set to return on Sunday coming back from the hand injury but the warriors wanted to give them more practice time. Kerr told reporters that curry hadn't scrimmaging. So in a statement released by the team Korea set to practice with the Warriors G. League affiliate the Santa Cruz Warriors today and his Detour. Return is still undetermined. A lot of people think a little later this week maybe Thursday match up on that we could see current. But that was a bit. A bummer. Is All excited for Sunday? And exactly wasn't there. You want to get a scrimmage in play the wizards that easy and then finally one loser the weekend Tuesday. Whoa boy committee of one. That is myself. It was sort of next to impossible to try to figure out who should win. Sunday's wool boy. And here's why listen? Listen to these lines from Sunday and the pressure on myself. My ears are right now of these gentlemen to give the honor to. Jaanus forty one twenty and six in less than thirty five minutes on Sunday. Porzingas thirty eight thirteen in four six. Three pointers made in five blocks..

"Looks that you can get again. That's what the defense gives you and knock them down. You know hit eighteen. Nineteen or something to get it wrong. It's possible I always go back to the raptors versus cavs series Raptors were feeling good in that series against Lebron team and it was that year where the Catholic they just couldn't Michigan three. Like even Casey was like I don't know what we can do like we're doing the right thing in playing a Lebron team but they just can't miss threes right now. I mean I felt like Jerry Smith never happen but I still. I would still as of today be taking the bucks chances to go to the finals. Just the whale. The honest is playing alone even carrying them to wins at times when the rest of the team is playing that well because they have a great defense Abu Tasks as a as a winner of the weekend. Well Free Agent Dion. Waiters has to be a winner of the weekend. The Lakers are the best team in the western conference by a significant margin. Dion waiters suspended three times. This season earlier. This year with the Miami Heat and the Lakers still want him. He is working out on Monday for the Los Angeles Lakers according to ESPN against suspended. Three times edibles. He said I'm sick. Put out a photo of him hanging out on a boat he was traded and then he was released by the Memphis Grizzlies. He's making twelve million bucks this year. He's making twelve and a half million bucks next. His contract was not invalidated of because of that situation or edibles. It's cool to take edibles as as an NBA player. That's totally fine. You won't get your contract invalidated and again. He's working out today for the Lakers. You just mentioned Smith so as JR Smith. Apparently those two guys one of them's going to be brought in and I think it's dion waiters because they released Troy Daniels. The Lakers did who is way down on the depth chart for their team as a three point shooter but they want somebody who can handle a little bit more and get kind of hot and I think those two guys in Dion waiters. Jr Smith is that they wouldn't be bringing in unknown commodity. Lebron played with both of them. Jerry Smith obviously wanted to title with him in Two Thousand Sixteen Dion Waiters. Play with them with the cavs briefly and so even though they wanted a ball handler. You know somebody could drink a little bit more. I think one of those guys gonNA come in. I think it's just they're not going to wait around for any longer. Like Tyler. Johnson is available. But I don't think they're bringing Alan Crabs Availa Anthony dollars available. Jamal Crawford is available. But I think they're just going to say let's just do let's. Let's get it on here. Clippers clippers you sign a Marquee Morris. We'll take marcus. Morris you sign a right to Jackson. We'll take dion waiters and let's fight. Let's let's battle. They're ready even. It is pretty and the chemistry is always a word. It's always a worry with a great locker room but I think that known commodity with Lebron is is key to this whole deal. Yeah I'm just interested to see what shape waiters his in because the didn't seem sort of guide to me who was like total workhorse. Who WAS GETTING KEEP HIMSELF READY? But maybe he is. Maybe it's GonNa keep himself give himself shot because you go now to a situation where you could win a championship after Bailey. Having played this season so but I would say about the Miami Heat situation. Most people thought. Oh He's done with the he's not gonNA play another game for the heat. After he took those edibles suspended a billion times but they still put him out on the floor despite having a deep roster. They've got so many guys they didn't need to play him. He went out and played. This is his second meeting. Now with the Lakers. So there's something going on and that's something going on is. They didn't get any better but they're going to take a shot on the younger version of JR Smith. I guess because he's probably five years younger or even more somewhere in that ballpark so I don't think it's going to be Jr. Even though they've well I think it just Jr's unknown because we just don't know what type of shape he's in. That's the real question to me. I I actually think. Jr would be given the edge over a guy like dion waiters. You know having proven before in the playoffs. Lebron Yeah Lebron that he can step up in big moments but felt that feels like it's been away from the game for a little chunk of time here and you're right. He's six years older than dion waiters. That comes into play. Maybe that's a good thing for him though to be in the vet but we'll see should just have a shootout there should be killed versus us just like livestream shot shots on the Lakers. Get swaggie opinion there as well. Yeah you could make that a pay per view now on twenty nine ninety nine to watch that swayed me. Jr Dion waiters in a shoot. You telling me one hundred percent I think it should be a three point. Shootout followed by a dunk contest. You're not much of a donkey but the other two are I'd love to see that and also a quick shut up Troy Daniels. He got waived but he did make his last shot with the Lakers. A deep three at the end of that blackout against the Memphis Grizzlies. What way to go out one for one yes. It is bio- Marquette season here in the NBA listed a lot of guys there and somebody can pick up Troy Daniels. If they want him to win a championship also is another one. You didn't Jordan McRae I guess is now available and then the lines of like Jr. or Taylor. Johnson Shumpert right. Is he a Shumpert in saying and who wants to show up a few more just I guess many winners of the weekend if you WANNA call them that the clippers. I think we've got to give one to two wins over Denver on Friday and then Philadelphia on Sunday. The somehow survived these shake Milton Experience L. Got A six point win. The clippers hate playing games. We have we have learned that they are not good at the earlier. Start but they got the victory anyway putting up a ton of points one hundred thirty six there on Sunday and in addition to the club's getting those winds and got a nice little win streak going here for in a row with all their healthy guys. Back Patrick Patrick Beverley and Paul George. Everybody in the mix. Steve Bomber is in advanced negotiations to purchase the form in Inglewood California because they've been caught up in the courts bomber and the clippers have trying to trying to build a spot trying build a complex in the England area but Dolan who owns. Msg Of course also owns deform. His company does. They're saying no. You can't build here as well. That would be a conflict of interest and all that. So they might. There looks like there. Maybe you have to determine maybe the best way to do this just to buy the form and then either just keep it and re build another one because it wouldn't be a conflict then because you don't both or rip it down and build their clippers bombers talked about the street is he. He's like we. GotTa get out of the staple center. 'cause it's Lakers and then it's maybe the Kings in the NHL and then it's us so they got to blow up the forum then right building. Yeah Right Yeah. That would probably be the plan. I mean I would guess he wants to build a state of the art van thousand seat basketball. I think you could renovate the forum to bring it up to that standard. No I think I would either keep it for. Have you seen photos of it not going to have? You would keep it either for concerts. Which mainly does now and you would build. Also you're you're you're clippers arena or yeah you blow it up and you have a chance to blow up a piece of Lakers history. Yeah go for it. Yeah Yeah I mean. I wonder what like Lakers fans would prefer. Or what would hurt more to see bomber? Blow it up or to have the clippers play in. I don't know PROB- probably blow it up blow in the poop out of that because they plan to building where they have to look up at the Lakers banners. They cover them with the guy. Murals of the clippers players. I mean this is a fantastic opportunity. It's also fantastic. Opportunity for Steve. Balmer to recreate a viral video his former via video onstage yelling developers developers developers. He's he's a sweater. Hello great opportunity to create a video where he's yelling real estate developer real estate developer. She'll say developers he's going to develop cool arena right there. In England. You tweeted yesterday. A battle is going to build an arena. Something because this photo the score is just perfect like black magic to try and build something. Yeah but he has long like the clippers have long been regarded like third ten in the staple center and even Arnovitz article on ESPN needle pointing out that the clippers receive a smaller share proceeds from suites and club seats and they have lesser say in the scheduling like. They're just like given the leftovers. It's like okay. Here's your games are and I'm sure they don't want any more of these games anymore. Because they've proven they stink during that. So yeah this looks like it's eventually GonNa Happen. These are advanced negotiations bomber by the form from from Dolan and then he can do whatever he wants to blow it up or just put another building beside it. It's interesting that the Lakers actually have a lower attendance this year than the Los Angeles Clippers. The clippers are at one hundred percent capacity. The Lakers are at ninety. Nine point six the they have a hundred less people going into the basketball games but they probably make up. Agility is more than the clippers. A few other mini winners. Andrew wiggins finally won a game. Oh give it up. For Wigan relations music he had lost we can set loss twenty consecutive games because he had lost thirteen when he was with the wolves before the trade to Golden State and then he had squatted dropped another seven straight so he was up to twenty but he got that victory over the weekend. Shot shuttling a cool six twenty in his team. Beat the sun's finally got it w happened on leap day. Though did it really happen will look back. February twenty ninth did not win that game. It didn't last long either to celebrate. No no no no no. They lost again on Sunday. And I WANNA give a winter we get into the kings kings are still alive. They're holding onto playoff hopes. They've won eight of their last eleven to wins over the weekend. They went into Memphis deer. Foxes he said they got victory over the grizzlies. That was big. That was a close one. I thought he played fantastic Fox. They folded up on Sunday rallying to beat the Pistons by six. They're down. I looked at the score early on Sunday there. At one point it was like twenty three to four detroiters insane but they came back and they got the victory and now they're tied. The kings are with the Pelicans for the ninth spot in the West. They're twenty six and thirty four. There's only like three games back from the grizzlies along with the Spurs. So there's three teams chasing Memphis. Kings are still there I think people are sort of looking at the kings and the the benefiting a little bit from people like either out of it. And it's you know another bad season in Sacramento. I bet they're just keeping themselves alive to eventually fall at any. Oh how dare you Harrison? Barnes has to shave man. Yeah that's right. Yeah he's gotTa Shave so there you go the kings are still in it and I see Fox back in there and again playing really really. Well reminding everyone that. Hey I'm also pretty good young talented guard and maybe you can carry them in their beaten. Memphis a hell of a year. That's a whole game. You're gaining there by beating the team how to you all right. Let's get to losers of the NBA weekend. Who wants to get started? Who's got a juicy one? Well enough I should say with a couple of raptors fans around me but It was a rough weekend for the raptors. Now lose implies that you're a loser that you've done something stupid the raptors the raptors always seem to struggle to beat the Hornets in Toronto. I don't know if that he's actually correct. But it just feels like Jeremy Lamb had hit that half court bomb a couple and now on Friday not. The school was tied with a couple of weeks ago and run day. Hollis Jefferson fails Terry rozier before the ball is even inbounded and Rosie Hits. A free throw is going to lose that game now. It's like a loser to me. Yeah but it was hired. That wraps up to good looks the reputation but kyle got the offensive rebound went to the corner. Yeah I mean it's fun you know you're going to lose a couple of games from time to time but that was a bit of a unfortunate one looking back at it. I thought Hollis Jefferson fouls him but it's pretty harsh. Y TO LOSE THE GAME. I think as well. I didn't think it was to agree just myself anyway. That happens and then they go to Denver and this is always a tough place to play. But they're short. Handed severely shorthanded..

"This is a better season than he's had from his last three seasons at the very least he made it possible for the rockets. The play this way and you know with Mike Dantonio coach. You kind of always look for the minor players that he's going to turn into a significant role player. Somebody who's GonNa get a surprisingly huge contract. You wouldn't have thought a guy who is a one time. Mvp a multiple all star all NBA player would be able to find another avenue to have success in his career. He he's been incredible as has COVINGTON. As you mentioned I think he has also made it possible for the rockets to play the style. He's averaging one and at one point one steals per game. That's not great but two point seven blocks for him would be second in the NBA. It was over the course of an entire season. So between him being a rangy defender who was able to protect the rim and PJ Tucker being stout defender who can handle the big guys. They don't have tall guys but they got guys who play the position the right way for the NBA right now. It's fun to watch interesting thing. For the rockets since gone to the centralist basketball they're beating teams by an average of almost twenty points at the three point. Line EVERY GAME. So does that change in the postseason. Our TEAM'S READY TO GUARD THE THREE POINT LINE. A little bit more in a series. I would think so. I would think that that number at least like shrinks by half or something like that. But that's that's why they're winning. Teams aren't ready to play this team. I'd like to give a winner the weekend. No surprise here to the Milwaukee Bucks and Janas specifically another perfect weekend from Milwaukee Friday. They dismantled the thunder one. Thirty three to eighty six. It's a good thunder team that dominated the hit twenty one threes in that one. Milwaukee did held. Okay see to under thirty seven percent shooting then on Sunday they followed up with a much uglier victory versus Charlotte in Charlotte versus the Hornets. Now couldn't hit a shot to save their life and that one but they got the win ninety three eighty five. They held the Hornets to thirty five point. Three percent shooting from the floor so even worse than they did or okay so did against them on the Friday. Both of those games Chris Middleton. They're all star guy who's great on both ends of the floor and had been on fire for last month and a half but Yonathan. Those two games averaged thirty six point. Five points sixteen point five rebounds six assists and shot over sixty two percent from the floor. And you WANNA talk about. Barely breaking a sweat. I mean how many minutes did even play in the combined minutes. It was like something like sixty five or something so he scored in basically every way imaginable over the weekend pick and rolls and fastbreak dunks then the jumpers and apple and getting there. And it's it's it's wild though. I will say this about the bucks. I think we need to put a moratorium on the idea idea of like. We're not talking about the bucks anymore because everyone is talking about the box at least every piece of MBA media. I'm consuming in terms of either listening to it watching it or reading it or talking about the bucks. Yeah they don't just overseeing we're not talking about the buck but we are. It's a leftover take. We weren't talking about what's when they wanNA Eighteenth Street Games. They were not the Big Story League but the bucks are getting better their first twenty games. They lost three times their second twenty games. They lost three times their third twenty games. They lost twice and one of them was the pacers right before the break. That's hilarious lost to look at now. Oh this is the one game. Maybe that you didn't give one hundred percent effort but yeah people are talking about the bucks. Giannis is locking up the MVP and we got beefs. You GotTa let to see a player versus while you're beef James hearted any honest. I think you saw that on Friday not against the thunder. I think Janas absolutely went out there with that sort of chip on his shoulder. Thank I'm not that skilled. I mean it's all sort of blown out of proportion to some degree. Honest even has now sort of tried to put sand on the on the fire and try and put it out. Because he's you know I'm just working on my game. And we're moving on which is a bummer. Because it was sort of a nice little back and forth the problem is that Jaanus are the James Harden looks at himself as a sweaty guy. He finishes the game that Guy's dripping with sweat and then you see John is he. Plays Twenty five minutes and has forty one points like. It's no big deal. And he's not sweating man that guy. That guy should be held a little bit. Half-year welby start sweating out there. These two teams do play very smart in a couple of weeks. He got the rockets in the box. So maybe it'll be reignited. A little bit there in terms of their disdain for each other legit to get us back a few years. Yeah absolutely you know. Hardin UPSET THAT. Jaanus like won the MVP and and then and then with a couple of jobs around the star game and even after the game and then Rachel Nichols ask hard. Nabil that he doesn't hold back with the whole like but he didn't see it either. Yeah yeah that's right that's right but I have Everybody loves this. You know it's fine. A lot of these guys are best buddies at times even on the floor. It appears like we just talked about with Lebron and all the young guys. But it's every once in a while you like to have two elite superstar player that maybe you don't care all that much I love it. I think everybody is it. All stemmed from Yannis during the All star draft saying no not drafting James Harden. I want someone who can pass. That was a real calm and it only got brought up two weeks later. It's James Harden only got brought up to James Harden weeks later. That really got things going yet. James are never saw it but never saw the first time you heard of it from Rachel Nichols on. Espn the counter to that is Yanni's only made these little jabs at hardened because of all the talk of the year you win an MVP from the from the rockets side of things. They know it should be hard and it should be hard and it should be said. He had the narrative over the summer and there was a video that someone dug up. Jaanus and harding going at it and I think it was the second year Hardened bumped him to the floor and Janna Scott up gotten his face. I was a nice fine to over the long time going for the deep dives now he also got the one where like Jaanus posting up on. Maybe the left side of the cordy whips like a right handed pass underneath them and hoop and it just blasts hard in the face like a total by chance but it works perfect for this beef. Yeah we mean team that won right with honored that week with the MVP trophies as the ball bouncing off hardens face. If I remember correctly yes okay. But the winner of the weekend. I think everybody's talking about them. They're they're a title contender there at the top of the list. And they look unstoppable even when criminal newsroom play and they're picking up WS and they're just just next level right now and he's winning. Mvp A love. This little sort of push we got going here for Lebron I get it. The guys putting up thirty point triple doubles in a seventeenth is amazing and his team. Whenever he's on a team and he's healthy their title contenders that's cool. You know gentry talking about this after the Pelicans game but there is no way that you honest not winning. Mvp this year not a chance in hell. Especially if the I mean not even if they hit seven especially because they're not gonNa drop off the last twenty games so they don't unanimous well. That's the only question to me. I actually don't think it will be. I think someone will throw a throw. Lebron Lebron I do but I also I don't really care all them not just like Lebron is number two though right harden I I agree with that part of that is Westbrook it is Westbrook and hardens out wrong. You know a year or two ago like narrative plays a part plays a massive massive part absolutely and it is right now honestly to. We're saying it's march second the MVP is locked up. Yeah but you agree with that. Unfortunately yeah he's just been that good on the best team in one of the best ever seen regular season. Yeah one of the best teams. You've ever seen that forty point win on Friday. As you said over the thunder their third forty plus point win the season which is tied all time for the most in a season. A lot of teams have done it. And there's been another team this year. That's done it surprisingly. Who's the other team? That's three forty point games. This season offering raptors not the raptors couple of Dallas Mavericks. Mark Says Right Nice. They have the best offense in the League so they mopped some teams could be the best offense ever. That's kind of what it was. Yeah could be for could be true. It's weird any worry that the rest of the bucks are struggling right now. They got by the thunder and the Hornets with the rest of their starters. Shooting thirty percent besides the Addis any worries any worries that carries over to six weeks from now. I mean a little right like brook. Lopez's is shooting twenty eight percent from three and he has been off all year but his contributions on the defensive end have really filled in where he was going to be. But come playoff time. I mean you're going to see the pack pain you're GONNA to see. Let's build a wall and make Brook Lopez's beat us then rather have Don Janas dunk all over your heads. I mean Lopez wasn't great in the playoffs last year. I don't feel like Marvin Williams just got there. He's only shooting thirty one percent. What the team. So just like the rockets could get hot and win a playoff series and go all the way to the finals. The opposite could be true for the bucks right. I mean is George L. GonNA shoot fifty percent from three in the playoffs. Maybe but also maybe not and then also the flip side of that too is how they play. Defense is well. We're going to give you a bunch of shirts. Isn't that far. Fetched to think one of these teams in a seven game series being in the East or in the finals like just catches fire for a couple of games and hits a open. Fairly Open..

"Yeah. We will see, but we will have a game five that is Wednesday night. It is wild. It is wild trying to keep track of all this also on Monday night, the bucks, they swept the pistons bucks. When the four games of the series by thirty five points, twenty one points, eighteen points and twenty three points though game floor was oddly sort of close one of the closer games. It felt like in the series because Reggie Jackson was on a fire in the first half at twenty yet. Blake with a gutsy performance. Dragon his bionic leg around out there. A mummy up on that one leg. Yeah. Look like, a mummy stone cold Steve Austin with giant neighbours underneath wraps. That was pretty crazy. It's weird though to say that it felt like a close game because at halftime the pistons were leading by six and they still lost by twenty. And I I know know I. I know the blue route second half, but it felt close the bucks went on like a forty five to ten runner sums over some section of the game there in the second half. I mean, it was really Jaanus after halftime. He got out there. Lee shooting free throws like six minutes ago, and they have time clock still because he had struggled in the first half. And he attacked attacked attacked attacked pistons, vans and Blake in coach Casey, they're upset with the free throw discrepancy. They shot a lot more Janas shop way more than the entire pistons team wanting to twelve Jaanus verse the pistons from the live, I mean, just frustrated because I really couldn't get close to the box. No significantly inside. They're frustrated. They got the I think the longest streak now of most consecutive playoff loss. It has to do with my trivia question. It does it does. Yeah. Fourteen straight losses by the pistons. Which is weird. I think that's what it was, you know, d- winds on the side. And it's like man, we just this. There's nothing we can do he had even keep this game relatively close the bucks, which just too good. So it sort of frustrated, but Janos is going and so I just getting contact. Yeah. He does get some superstar calls. Yeah. We've been watching basketball longtime. Yeah, I'm okay with it. Because it's long and around the rim goes half the Khanna hidden to try to scupper in from just lying it up, Don King. So he's one of the stronger guys he can absorb it one on fun. The thought maker took charge on that one. I thought she was and that was that was called because I think that was the one where Casey quoted right yet tech. Yeah. But you're right. But again. Attack. That doesn't change anything is so weird. You saw the play where like the strategy is. I mean, I guess like backup off them and try and dare to shoot. But like Reggie Jackson. Just left him. Leave him. He'll be wide open. Let's see if he'll shoot it. And I was like now, you know, what's better? Just take one giant step at the defender Blake Griffin near the rim. Then I'll just euro around him because my legs were frequently long, and I'll just lay it in. That's a lot that makes more sense. Because exactly right. It's almost like giving them room is the worst strategy with him in get on a runway to the rim. And he's got great wingspan. He's got great leg span. So if you give them, you know, ten feet to figure out a move. He's going to figure out some way to get at least far enough away from you that you can't bother a shot, and he can still get it to the rim. I don't actually think Janas can dunk from the three point line. Not yet. I wouldn't be surprised if he does a finger all from the three point line like on a fast break, why not just, you know, run run run jump from the top of the key. He can float for fifteen shoot. Like a little George Gervin nine foot finger all that would still kind of three points. Right. Yeah. Why not try it? Awesome. He's gotta try that on a fastbreak washer the Dunkin what game to where he was like six inches in front of the free throw line. Maybe easy easy. Be jumps from that far away. It's not too hard of a shot. Yeah..

"Just as the bills not either. I like only count couple of those. But I think you know, like to your credit. There are players that want to stay in place. And I think it's all about being competitive than I think you guys have been a good job of putting the right pieces. And so if it's time for him to sign a contract most of the time players, look like, okay? What have you done to help me? Back semis myself in the team. And I think you guys are moving in that right direction. What else? Do you think? Again, I'm not gonna ask you to divulge any information. But what is it that you take the improvement of your is probably that next step. Yeah. And I'll go back a little bit. It starts with our ownership group. They're willing to invest any resource necessary. That's to to have a speed successful and compete for championships for a long period of time. You saw that with our hiring of Bruno's or one of the best coaches on the market for us to go out there and get him was a key piece in into fit this team. And this group the free agents that we brought in sunny Ilyasova. Lopez pack onto and had a really great first half last night. Those are other investments, and so I think for us is continued to be patient to put the right pieces at the right time around Jaanus and Chris in Malcolm Erica in just, you know, organically, let this group grow the honest twenty three years old crap tobacco all stars back tobacco NBA. He's young budding superstar even close to his prime debt. And so I don't think we should rush it. It's just to be patient. Do the right things at the right time. You may have heard me at the top of the show mentioned that there has been a lot of bucks fan angst about coaching maybe for the last two years. And there was that the fans seem to really warm up to the idea of Mike coming in and everything that happens coach came there..

"Game eleven but that shows you younger mentality. It's a younger mentality of right? Well, then maybe I'm Ascott. He discussion asking do we have some video from the buck sideline reporter cagey, Katie, George, and she was showing fans leaving the arena early in the fourth. Well, that's not. That's not. I mean, but this is still fun video to see you can't blame fans. Right. I mean, they seen all they needed to on. The question though is with the warriors moving out of Oakland at the end of the season. Scotty, not Richard will the bucks play another game at oracle arena because they're already a little speculation of wait a minute. They could be jumping some other guys in Eastern Conference to premature about this. No, they won't be. To be on. This is is good that they feel that their confidence has arrive and they're playing some good basketball. But they're still probably thirty four best team in the east. So I mean, you still got to go through Balsam Toronto is playing great basketball right now. So you know, as good to feel good about yourself, especially when you go on these lone wisc coast road trips because you know, that's when you can really get your season tone around one way or another for the ball is it's been a great road trip for them in their confidences super this season. So I'm happy to see that. But expect to see them in in the postseason on west. Doing games with with me on. Time. I. We can have fun with this unless they're doing TV. We're going gonna see any bucks in oracle. Janice would be good for play-by-play. He would be great, especially because you can speak multiple languages. He can do it. You can broadcast across the world. But we honest will not be playing in oracle. So later today, the bucks general managers can be stopping by the studio to join us. We'll let you discuss those. "Welcome to the Jim fueled by marathon. There's a lot of this. Today's opening tip girl is Patrick Patterson. Joining forces for a high five block on mellow. Party. Just everyone's happy making it. They wanted to like just give there. Everyone was happy. Someone asked this morning. If mellow was allergic to Oklahoma City, those pretty funny. I think that's pretty accurate pretty accurate. Hello, welcome to the job. I'm Rachel Nichols. Were in that Friday mood here a little couple NBA champs, Richard. You like that you can just sit next to Scotty, Pippin, Scottie, Pippen and be like. Yeah. Just a couple of MBA. I don't like to compare myself. He's got all of the champions. Rich. This make a catch law. Welcome back to you. And of course, got Mamer coming up. We're gonna talk about the expectations on Richard Jefferson's old college roommate at Arizona bear down Luke Walton are they fair he has some thoughts. But I it has become standard practice for warriors fans to remind each other to get to the Rena on time after all you want to catch the stars playing any night. There's a good chance that the team will so dominate. So thoroughly the biggest names we'll be sitting on the bench for the fourth quarter. And that's exactly what happened at oracle arena last night. Except for the first time in the Steve Kerr era the star sitting out the fourth because his team was so far ahead was not a warriors uniform. It was Jaanus Cuco. Thanks to the bucks running completely roughshod over the reigning champs. When it was all over Milwaukee had one by twenty three Yana said, quote, we've arrived, which was very dramatic. But also, maybe true after years of speculate. Nation after about this team potential and the years of the teams fans fretting over the coaching situation. The bucks train does indeed seem to at least be pulling up to contenders. Ville Milwaukee in just eleven games into the season. I love that train that looks so good. But he is our walk is already beaten, Golden State Toronto and Philadelphia and almost be Boston. That loss came down to the final seconds. Just as impressive is how the bucks have been doing it with smart and engaged defence, a structured offensive attack that encourages crazy ideas. Like, I don't know passing. And trusting each other Milwaukee now ranks second in the league in assists up from fourteenth last year. They're also second only behind Houston in how many of their points come from deep compared to last year when they were third from the bottom in that category. Still the books haven't fallen so in love with the three that they don't take advantage. When all that spacing opens up runway size lanes to the basket. Like last night, the bucks, absolutely mug. The warriors inside outscoring them eighty four to thirty four in the paint this from Eric Bledsoe. And John Hanson. Damn right, or we got honest because you know, we have to show this from you on us that is just mean, Andrea Mons green afterward as ING on. This is where we insert the Tory note that dream on was indeed sitting with the game out with the store. The anger of the warriors defense probably would have made some difference. If you've been on the court, and it should also be noted Steph curry left this game toward the end of the third quarter. MRI results would later show. It was a groin strain. But it's not like Steph was playing so well, even before he got hurt he missed all four of his report attempts and went five for fourteen overall look at blood, so he the rest of the bucks playing stiff physical all night. Chris Middleton should also get similar credit for the way that he stayed with K G really from start to finish. This was a big boy performance from the walkie a signature national TV wind decide designed to force the rest of the league to take notice and it did Jaanus on the bench and that fourth quarter sent all the message..

"So I forget who specifically to wrote this in the comment section, but they said books blow at the seventy Sixers on national TV but steps goes for fifty plus so the bucks don't get any headlines books. Crushed the raptors. But clay sets the NBA record for three. So the bucks don't get any headlines books. Destroy the warriors and the oracle but stuff gets hurt. So that's the lead story in the bucks won't get any headlines. Bad locked down with the bucks bucks. I mean are the bucks getting enough attention from the national media right now with the record being fantastic. And and picking up quality wins. I mean, these are good winds, obviously against seventy Sixers and Rapson and the warriors. They get enough love. I think so we talking bad and quite a bit. Yeah. Know, we're talking definitely how they have Chinese style. From the the Jason Kidd joke Bronte season, they want all that fun to watch. Now. I mean, there's a ton of threes. They just come down and just stop firing away. But you feel that they are trying to maximize Janas impact on the offensive end. Even though he's numbers as test mentioned kind of with I were lost season. It's still incredible still amazing twenty six thirteen six. You see? Feels like so many tons of game where he just has that open line where he can go inside and just sort of believes white pasta. He feels at times unstoppable. It's and there's been a lot of talk now with the way they're playing. I know you guys have seen this. I'm sure like on Twitter and articles about like should when you approach the bucks. Should you? Try like the whole Steve Nash approach and make Janas just flat out score. And like let him just try and go for his fifty and takeaway, everybody else, basically, the Nash like strategy at times, it was like, you know, he wants to pass he wants to get everybody going and they got much shooters around him. So make Steve the score. Can you do? Yes. I think so because there's. Because he's almost a foot taller than. Yeah. Yeah. I'm just going through guys. He doesn't have a shot. He really doesn't have a shot at this point. And he's shooting twenty five percent from three whatever it is something bad, but he just bullies through guys works either because he can get to the lot. Like, he he is a star you warrants. A lot of calls is strong as an ox so easy. You can take that you can initiate the contact and take the fell and he's a great free throw shooter. So like they were in Bodas quicken this one, right? The the bucks were it's like different strategies. It's not naturally have been doing that. I get the idea though of takeaway, Robin. Takeaway Middleton, you know, take away all these shooters. Maybe it is your best chance, but they're all capable dudes. I mean, they're all capable scores. I think you know, but deserves credit you can kind of see this year modern MBA coaches on Nick nurse in Toronto coach, bud. No more guys who can't really score all that much. Just try and spread it out with five guys as much fossil. And if you have to have one dunker, that's fine. But not too. There's. What you need you need to spread the floor as much as possible. And he's got it's got a bit of the hawks vibe. I think from the boot Knowles days, it's not just says going for thirty five and other guys scoring. It's Millsap Horford. Carol Korver Teague everybody can score when you have a system. Other guys. They're going to seed Pat Coniston had fifteen last night. Right. They had five guys in double figures. They wanna game without Janas playing because everybody has something to do. You. Don't just stand there and wait for something to happen like with what was happening with Jason Kidd and their space out there, and they say shoot a three man. We don't care. Yeah. Your coach has your back before the gave something you just we're talking to their tasks Steve Kerr talked about how successful buttonholes are is excuse me was with the hawks and like getting them to sixty wins..

"Bucks assistant coach and member of that two thousand one team Darvin ham will join us in about fifteen minutes at eight forty so your chance to catch up with the one of the fan favorites here back in the early two thousands in late nineties and now a key member. Mike boot and Holzer staff here with the bucks. So we took a couple of questions on the big guys and brook Lopez THAAD maker. How they've performed here and whether or not Thon maker should get some more minutes. So one of the things that we briefly brought up was the way that this bench has really transformed here under my boot and holds earned his first year. Last year the bucks score just under twenty eight points per game. They're bucks the buck's bench. Did I should say twenty eight points per game. Just under that number only the thunder and timber wolves scored less from their second unit. This year the twenty third in the league, which you may say well only up a couple of spots. Right, but thirty six points per game. So they're getting almost ten points per game more from the second unit, and the other thing to keep in mind is this when you have a starting five with Yohannes with Chris Middleton. You can throw Eric Bledsoe in there. I mean, you figure to get sixty points tonight from those three guys. Let's round out the rest of the starting five. We're talking about eighty to eighty five points that you're getting from your starters. How much of an opportunity is that Lee for your bench? So the tricky thing with bench scoring I think the kings led the league last year run around fifty is most of the time the teams towards the top are not going to be towards the top of the standings. But when you look at the impact that this team has as long as you're not towards the bottom of the plus minus is the other thing to really look at for the bench. The bucks struggled in those areas. Not just last year, but the past few years. Twenty seven points per game from their bench last year. Again, only the thunder and timber wolves were worse thirty six this year. But what really jumps out his last year the bench had a plus minus of negative one point eight. Meaning when you went to the second unit, you're getting out scored by at least two points the entire time that that bench was on the floor this year, it's plus three. So a five point turnaround. Meaning instead of giving up a portion of the leader leading the team chip away at the lead that the starters have built up the bucks are building upon that lead. And I think a big reason why is the way that we've seen this second unit used here. So far four one four seven nine nine one six twenty s the accurate mortgage, talk and text line can text in your thoughts interact with us on Twitter as well. Tweet him in at TM j Garcia, and we are on Facebook will take your comments there. Ersan ilyasova. Just over nine points just under seven rebounds a game. Dante David Chen zoo who we have to carve some time out for has been outstanding eight points a game four rebounds a game, basically, two rebounds, twenty three minutes from her son. Twenty one minutes from Dante John Henson is played very well here, averaging six points and seven rebounds in fifteen minutes and your guy. Tony Snell has been terrific to and that's one of the things, you know, coming into this season here in looking at the things that Mike Boone Holzer was hoping to accomplish. Spacing the floor playing defense and knocking down three point shots. It seemed like this was tailor made for Tony Snell. And he has been a much different guy. The first nine games this season than what we saw last year. Do I get to take credit for that? At all may have been saying for three years now three years. Perfect system.
