"And whether you agree or disagree. Whatever the right opinion on Aaron Rodgers is and I'll certainly circle back to this. I've talked a lot this week. I think it's worth playing a lot of his words. You know the story. But if you don't here's the quick update Here's the catch up. Aaron Rodgers led his team last year to an NFC championship game. He had an M V p season. And the drama began at the end of that game, where, he said in a press conference. When the whole of Packers nation was lamenting their loss at Lambeau with the Super Bowl on the line. At the hands of the eventual championship bowl champion Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Tom Brady. That's when Rogers started talking about don't know where I'm going to be, and it kick started. Absolutely, forecasting an off season of discontent between him and the Packers. When you report what you retire when he forced a trade when you try to get Brian Guten kissed, by the way, it's gotten PinWst He's replaced Tom Thibodeau with the most difficult name to pronounce. It's not gotten Coons. It's not good and Const. It's gotten against how many people care about his pronunciation zero Because Aaron Rodgers too busy trying to kick him all his down, push them down, trying to kick him. Rogers had a problem with that gentleman that GM of the Packers And at the last second Rodgers and the Packers strike an agreement. Three year deal becomes a two year deal. With the understanding in the language that has been reported that has been used. They'll reevaluate next year Rogers future which translates to Rogers will do whatever the hell he wants to do. He has him say over player personnel, and we've all pontificated on it. I have. We all have. Gonna give you Rogers perspective. And then you can weigh in. You can respond. I'll certainly give you my response. If you want to call me I'd love to hear from you 855 to 1 to four. CBS. Let's get into it. Aaron Rodgers yesterday. By the way, Let me just say Here's one opinion. Give you one opinion unless Roger speak. Respect the fact that it came to the microphone, he talked Regardless of what you hear, whether you think it's a bunch of garbage or a bunch of honesty or a bunch of honest garbage or wonderful ever. You think I respect the fact that he addressed every question? Every question, including in this press conference yesterday, Aaron Rodgers talking about why he was first upset with his organization. A lot of things that transpired. This wasn't uh, A.

"Brian Gun crews had this to say about and an Roger said Guys should have been treated better when they are part of the Packers. Part of the 11 names that he mentioned Brian Gunk, You said, Well, wait a minute. We don't treat people badly here. The perception out there somehow we don't treat our players will. That's couldn't be further from the truth. You know, I think we've always treated our players. Well here. I think we have a lot of players who have been here and nowhere else. You know what I mean? So there's a you know, there's some of that, but I think we always put those guys first. Ted was adamant about that. And how we approach things and that is carried on. Um, but I think there is sometimes perception of reality and this communication lapses and stuff like that. And so I think, if anything, it's just a matter of kind of of the communication part of it. Hey, Brian, brother don't hide behind the perception word. When you use the perception word that's a problem with me. I'm not speaking for you. Not speaking for you. I'm speaking for me. If you don't believe that. That's true. I'm not even put in the perception without them. They heard what Aaron had to say. That's not how we get down here. Period. I've been this organization a long time. That's not what we do. When you put this a perception out there. You're giving credence to what Aaron Rodgers was saying was true. You're letting everybody know that. Yeah, we already had to say, but the perception is out there know Aaron Rodgers name names. We? They need a name He named 11 names. Brian. Good. Well, the reception is out there. No, no. And Roger shut that down by the whole perception thing. But I will say this now did this is done at recess for now. If you're the Green Bay Packers, you are still in a no lose situation. If you're Mark Murphy, the president if you're Brian Goon, Costa General manager if your head coach Matt LaFleur, or if you're the players, If you're the fans, you're in a no lose situation. Because with the kind of team that you have, in my opinion, the only team that's better than the Green Bay Packers in the NFC or the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and the Packers, other than when they got swamped in the regular season, they made a couple of plays and, hey, Aaron Rodgers had not thrown an interception at two in the second half. We talked about this team going to Super Bowl and maybe being in Kansas City. It's still a no lose situation. Especially Aaron Rodgers going to be that transparent and nobody's going to get in his way in his final year in Green Bay. That's frustrate talk wireless everything for less. "Selling jersey. With the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Now, before you say, Well, top 10. That's not a big deal. Tom Brady has four of the top 10 and Rob Gronkowski has two of the top 10. So that only leaves four more response for Kyle Trask. Mhm. And he has one of them. He's not the back of QB. He's not the backup backup QB The fourth stringer isn't the second we back up. Back up. Back up, QB. What was he? The final pick in the second round? Was the the 64th pick in the NFL draft. Can you please explain to me why Kyle Trask has a top 10 selling Jersey? With the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Sure, I think I can. It's called the G A. T. O R S Gators When you are the hometown kid here in the state of Florida, and you put together the type of season that Kyle Trask did, and he's unbelievable story. Florida had a very nice season, though it didn't finish well last year. And you get drafted to the hometown team. Where there's some whispers about Wow. Great landing spot for Kyle. Trans right there, behind Tom Brady. I mean, a couple years from now, Kyle Trask. He's going to be the starter. They're gonna be winning Super bowls left and right. Yeah, the Jersey is going to sell. There's going to be some excitement because I'm sure there's quite a few Trask jerseys there at the swamp. Yeah. Any guess on if it's the white, the pewter or the or the whatever they call that orange creams of creamsicle because I I actually think the Buccaneers have the best collection of jerseys. I love the pewter. The red ones. Um, I guess they're kind of a Greg. Yes, now, right? I like the red ones calling pewter. They call it the rent. All right. The Tom Brady pewter is actually their number one selling Jersey. It's a great jersey. It is. I love the white jerseys. The Creamsicle ones are some of the best. They're the second best throw back. I think I would say behind the old San Diego Charger. L a charger powder blue jerseys. Those are great. Um, I would think It's the Trask pewter. That is the highest selling one. That's what I would have gone with two. It is the red. It is the dark red Trask. That is the but I just thought it was interesting. You want to take a crack at the other three. The other three players that are in front of him. Yep. So Gronk's got to Brady's got four. There's three other players who was their first round pick. I'm trying to remember right now, Um Devin Busch comes to mind immediately. Stephen Bush, one of them know and I will tell you while Trask Is in the top. 10, Their first round pick is not Alright. That first round pick is not so Kyle Trask is outselling the first round pick for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. That's interesting. Yes, that is very, very so Loudy. He's the only fourth string Quarterback in the country selling jerseys like this now, In fairness, there is a tight end in Jacksonville that might not even make the team that has the number one jersey up there. But it's still this one caught me. You know my surprise Mike Evans on that list? Yes. Okay, So Evans, is there? Yeah. So I got the wide receiver Mike Evan. Chris Godwin. Yep. Okay, Or we're going all offense here, aren't we? I'm sorry. We're going all offense. Every single one of the top 10 is offense offensive ugly, Not ugly. I mean, like, that's that's It's funny, because that's their identity as an offensive team, But it was really the defense that one them that Super Bowl because they played out of their mind did play out not just in the Super Bowl, but throughout the entire run. So Evans Godwin. Yeah, I need another wide receiver here, is it? Is it? Antonio Brown? No, Tony over it is Yeah. Wow, that surprises me. That's what I thought Leonard for net would have slipped in a playoff. Lanny Yeah? It was such a quiet resigning for playoff Lenny. Maybe they don't even realize he's still on the team. I saw him and I thought Sue would be the one that had a chance, by the way, Sue, not even in the top 20. I'm going through the fanatics website right now. And you're right. I mean, you go all the way through. And all of sudden, you just see that Kyle Trask number two there. Yeah. Can't make these up there These stories you get on live local loud. You can't make these stories up. We're gonna this is gonna get even better here. Speaking of the number two Did you see the quote from Gardner Minshew? Over the weekend. Oh, Jacksonville Jaguars quarterback Gardner Minshew. Of course, he's thought to be the backup there in Jacksonville behind Trevor Lawrence. But Gardner Minshew He's not. He's not taking anything for granted. In terms of this quote unquote quarterback competition that they have going on there in Jacksonville. This quote is Via pro football talk. Gardner Minshew, Um, he wants to be the starter. He is going to compete with Trevor Lawrence from Minshew talking on the green light podcast with Chris. Long quote. I'll say this man in preparation for the competition. I haven't taken a bleep in weeks. Because number two isn't an option for me. Number two isn't an option. Ladies and gentlemen, Gardner Minshew with one of the top 10 quotes. I think in the last 10 years in Florida Sports. I haven't taken a bleepin weeks. Number two isn't an option for me. Mm. You got to like the kid. I love them. I love him. He's going to be a very good I would say placeholder. He's like the next Ryan Fitzpatrick. He is the next He's the next Ryan Fitzpatrick. He smells like is back. Yes, he kind of just good enough to get you fired. Speaking of just good enough to get you fired. Did you see that Popeyes is now entered into the chicken nugget business. Chicken nugget? Yes..

"They don't let you have a field bet in terms of where he's going to go so it becomes a situation where miami denver the jets one other team. Those teams can all be three two one. If i bet all four those if he goes to one of those four i break even if he doesn't i lose every single bets. It's there's way too much vague in those pets and they can't bet no he won't go to the jets so we saw we. Excuse me. sorry we saw it with tom. Brady i just have to mention how much was bet on. He's going to new england going to los angeles chargers. Nobody had the buccaneers when you went there. They scooped all the money from everybody. And so and and it's a good point because you see a lot of these lines and there's not a or the field like you would have tiger woods or the field. And i think that's probably because sports books felt really good about tiger's chances at that point to win the majors they're like sure you can take the field. We like what we've got here the fact and then on even giving you the option says it just tells me that they look at it and go. We don't trust this all the way through. But we're more than willing to take your money. if you want to place a wager. Yeah pretty much. I always talk about these bets. Needle in the haystack. Bats and we see that especially during the super bowl when they give you a long laundry list of for instance who's gonna score the first touchdown and might list twenty different players and then if there's a defensive pick-6 and the is not on the list and there's not even a field and then the sportsbook can go ahead and scoop all the money. So where do we stand on the texans team window. Because i think what was it a five and a half last i saw and i can't imagine it's been adjusted at all. Because they probably factored in mckenzie right. He probably baked that into the line. Thinking to shawn watson wasn't going to be there so fez are we still sitting at five and a half or looking at now. We're looking at four and worth much been for the entire time. Mackenzie maybe you can check it and see if it's still on the board if there's been any adjustment but last time i checked even with the favourable news for watson that number basically is assuming that he is not going to play for houston yes and we were actually able to bet on. We'll watson play one game for houston this year. It was about ninety percent minus twelve hundred that he will not play any games for houston this year. As far as the texas season win total open. Four and a half slow trickle down. It's now at four. Even three point nine a pay a little extra on the under under money on the texans eac somewhere that somebody had it at five and a half and i thought well that seems a little high so basically what they're telling you is the texans over achieve at five and twelve just thinking about that. Think about every other team in the nfl at lisa. The rockets are good. So don't worry about. The lions are lined at five wins the texans for every single other. Nfl team even the dredges of the nfl jets hearts. So it's going to be an epic battle against houston for worse record it. Just bring back the oilers. What are we doing here. "To celebrate Super Bowl title several times in the past, but he hasn't always accepted the offer. But this time Brady is at center stage for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and gets to drop the mic moment with President Biden riding shotgun. President Biden welcome this year's NFL Super Bowl champions. The Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback Tom Brady took the podium, reflecting back on what it took to pull it off. One point We were 75 struggling a little bit, but we found our rhythm we got on the road. President Biden scored some points of his own with a little humor. We have the oldest coach, everyone the Super Bowl and the oldest quarterback to win the Super Bowl. As far as I'm concerned, there's nothing wrong. With being the oldest guy to make it to the mountaintop Andrew Brady style. The goat nailed a perfect come back. Not a lot of people think that we could have won and fact I think about 40% of people still don't think we want I understand. I understand that Mr President. I understand that. Yeah. How To Get The Raise You Deserve, Without Costing You Your Job (In A Pandemic!)

"Week. we got an email with the subject line. I need a raise exclamation boy. And i am here for that exclamation the email said. How do i go about asking for a raise without jeopardising losing my job or causing bad blood between me and my employer. The person who wrote this email didn't sign their name. So i'm gonna assume they wanna stay anonymous then that's totally cool. I'll just call them. John so dear john. You need a raise. Don't we all join the glove. Here's something i've learned time and again throughout the course of my career. It is extremely rare. We are talking ufo citing rare for a raise to be handed to you so many people especially young people. Tell me that they expected when they made it in the real world that they'd be working for a company that guarantees and x percent raise every single year. Where did this idea come from. I don't remember seeing a raise. Ferry in any of the disney movies. I grew up on so does the does not happen. Especially not today in the world of startups where the grind is so so more than likely if you want a raise if you deserve a raise and be really really really honest if were the boss. Would you give you a raise. You're going to have to ask for one and a lot of us. Have the very same worries that john wrote about in his email. We get anxious about whether or not asking for raises going to make us seem ungrateful or hurt. Our relationship with our boss and because of how unemployment has skyrocketed this year. If you have a job you also have an intense desire to keep it. And i get that i've been there. I have asked for raises at gotten both nose and yeses to here are the five tried and true tips. That have worked for me. I set yourself up for success. Think really carefully about the best time to approach your boss. Five thirty pm on a crazy busy monday. Probably not the best time at five thirty pm on a summer. Friday hard no the same day. Your boss has a one on one meeting with your ceo about budgets. Yup steer clear of that time to actually steer clear of any day. Your boss has a budget meeting even if a budget meeting goes perfectly. They're still really buccaneer stressful. "I can tell you here in houston. People think not always. Does sean decided he's play his last game for the texans. Maybe the texans have had a change of heart because the whole face the franchise thing. Let's talk about that for one. Second how do you go from. He was the clear cut. Face the franchise. I mean on all the commercials here. They're all gone. How do you come back from that. When it's your face the franchise guy. Can't he come back into the fold and would he be comfortable coming back into the fold. Yeah i don't know. I mean i think that's a longer more drawn out conversation. Maybe another time. But i'll say this. We saw ben rothlisberger comeback and re reemerges the face of franchise in pittsburgh thank anti. Most things can of be worked through. It'd be interesting. But i will say this if you take davis meals in the third round and you do jettison deshaun watson this offseason you go right back to the pond and fish again for another quarterback so what is really the point when you have tyrod taylor there. I think that to me was the thing you know. You're going to go back and have fish in those waters. I don't know. I think you might have wasted a third round pick but you brought up something it it it really makes me think about. Why did the knee jerk reaction to other quarterbacks going. "With Aaron Rodgers wanting out of Green Bay, according to reports a night that ended with pick number 32, the Super Bowl champion Tampa Bay Buccaneers going with AH, linebacker from Washington, Joe try on and there's a lot more to come. And there was a lot that was jammed in between those two big events. I thought it was really cool to thieve. The number of Alabama products six of them in the first round, which ties the record set by Miami. Back in 2004. I was thrilled to see Devante Smith go at number 10. Overall, The Eagles actually moved up to get in which I think is neat and they traded with E. Dallas Cowboys, their NFC East rival to grab Devante, and he's impressed me not only on the field, but off the field as well. Patrick's or Tan Hey, was sporting an incredible pink suit, though, is a lot to like about what we saw with the Alabama contingent. But also did you know it's the first time in any NFL draft that seven Players from one side of the ball were taken with the first seven picks in a row. Antonio Brown Re-Signing With Buccaneers on One-Year Deal

"Antonio brown is good. The case could be made over a six year period before he left pittsburgh he was the best receiver. Sense jerry. rice and the thing about receivers are randy. Moss might have this amazing year or two and his talent was you know. Maybe the best avenue randy moss. Another guy might have a year or two but these receivers tend to come and go fast. Now they stick around they might be like. Julio jones is he won the top three receivers. now he's not today but he certainly had times. Wise brown was very consistent very consistent and in just eight games. He had forty five catches as the number three option and what really stood out is his yards after catch or the best on the team so this is not a guy going out of bounds. This is a guy taken the ball and head up the field. I agree very productive. And if you think about it then that's awesome great. Why well obviously there's the author field questions but if you look at the time before the off the field were the questions. This was as productive receivers. We've seen since jerry rice and that's saying something that means maybe the second most productive six year period ever ever. Now he's hitting the wall when it comes to his age Four receivers typically again jerry. Rice was the exception to that even if he drops off a little bit a little bit. 'cause age antonio brown i believe will be at least as good if not better this year. Well how could he drop off and be better. The other circumstances remember he joined the team midseason right as much as he is a pro's pro in a way that in browns able to get acclimated and get integrated. He was paying much better coming into the playoffs now. He did get hurt but to me. His last three or four games were better than his first three or four which is a trend line. I think they continues with a more robust offseason into having the whole time with the team. So net net. I think browns more of a factor

He just didn't know the correct answer so this is what he wrote scripts to come up the correct response. Who wanted to kick that field goal. That is a great question. You should be correct but unfortunately for this this game in reference to happen during the nfc championship game back january in the fourth quarter when it looked like the packers were going to successfully make the comeback the tampa bay buccaneers. "Brady sign extension with tampa bay In four years the contract says you know that it is for four years for this extension. Avoid one year one year extensions the deal the deal ties. Tom brady To till twenty twenty two today that season The move as buccaneers nineteen million against the salary cap. This year it was effort for tom. Brady to duty do business in. That is cut money Where money comes in for himself so that he can keep the team together Help out of the guys. he's one of the people that understand that The money don't grow on trees. they have cavs. They have to be able to pay a guys if you want to keep them on the team and be able to do what you did the season which being that clearly the eleven eleven to twenty two people that start on offense defense plus of course a little bit more rotation-wise They were the ones that were the best in the league. They were able to get it done despite mistakes or eighty injuries or anything like that. The people that he played with the season were the best in the nation to win super bowl. So of course being at the salary cap way down In they have to pay a couple people because their contracts will do. He did what he needed to do. In order to help out the

"But i think you know maybe he went. Take count nostalgia. Yeah he probably would this this whole cap space stuff is it's a. It's always a mess every year. Nobody ever understands. I don't care what you say. Nobody understands the cap stuff and this year is especially difficult because we don't know what the is. Yeah and it's hard to find information and it's like on when i'm taking my notes and i go to spiral i have to. I copy down the figures exactly because they'll change them and then not explain why they changed or how it changed. And you'll never be able to see where you got your number or you know what's different so i like to make sure i get a real time. Look at what. They're calculating speaking to the tight ends. You know. tom brady threw the super bowl trophy. The lombardi trophy to came braid in those guys right and that that made big news. I was not aware that they threw it to somebody to another boat as day. Yeah i saw the video with the other day. I was like how come nobody's talking about that. Was tom brady. So apparently here's for just throwing it from both. The i didn't see lombardi. Karen get all mad about the other ones like. She wanted that apology from tom. Brady nobody else. She's ridiculous Okay all clair anthony. All-clear is also up for free agency. Yeah i think we can get him for not very much like these guys. And tanner hudson he. No they don't cost a whole lot. So i think you bring them back on are often wrote if you do it Offensive of line except here bottle. I know i'm surprised that he got Offensive line. we got joe. Hague josh wells and erin stingy and achey shipley. He's a healthy scratch. 'cause he has that neck injury that his career ending so this is kind of a technicality to have him on the list. I would scratch everyone but aaron stingy. I would resign erin skinny because he played well in campus absence. And i think you reward that so he made two hundred and fifty thousand last year with i mean seven hundred and fifty thousand with the bucks last year so i think you bring him back but joe hague josh. Well gap grade would demar. Dotson bag did they. Is he gone broncos. Yeah.

"You know smoke in your face. The everybody wants labonte newburgh. You know i was. I was literally expecting to be sad for two three weeks. Yeah podcast that's what we're talking about. So i'm totally happy. But here's the weird thing you and rapoport is the one that broke the news. Now how does this keep happening. Somebody explain to it seriously. He has nothing to do. With the buccaneers organization. The guy probably couldn't even tell you if labonte david inside linebacker and outside linebacker or whatever but yet he's the one breaking this news. This happens all the time. Were these national guys. Get the new and i. i don't know who is it. That's telling him if it's the agents or whatever you know do the agents have something worked out so that the the national media will talk good about their players or say know. It's all quid pro quo. But how in the world does the local media not know this crap. You know they have to get it the same way i do. I i question so much. What value these guys. Because mostly they're just an offers they just repeat what you told on the podium. I can watch the press conference and get the same the better. I understand context and everything. I don't know ma'am just seemed like these guys would have the inside round. I mean we've got some of these guys have been on this beat for thirty years due in the buccaneers they glazer's no on their first name basis. But yet they can't get these scoops to stone. What do they do. What do we do. Who stenographers of all i can get all. They asked the questions in most of them. Really dumb question. Hardwood even long questions. How do you feel about losing the game. How do you feel about winning the game and you feel about dropping a pass it so anyhow. You wanted to talk about who we have left. Yeah okay well let. Let's talk about the money situation. Mother again. This is a little alligator. But we've got spot and they're estimating the salary cap at one hundred eighty four million five hundred fifty one thousand.

"We're dude weird dude and On that formal note that wraps up the follow ups in fact okay. Twenty minutes long. Good lord podcasts. Correct and ourselves okay. Good stuff good. We have great fantastic news the news. It just shocked me. great greenberg. Who are salary cap guy does i. Lord and savior acri. Murray and this guy is genius. He is james. I'm actually surprised. He hasn't been snagged for general manager position. Oh but this is like probably one of the perks for the bucks where we go under the radar. Because i mean it is like a double edged sword like players like lante. David never get the love but they also don't get snatched up so it goes for our so for so long. We haven't really cared about that because we've been bad so we're like not really worried about her. We gotta overpay these people to stay. No one else really wants them either. Yeah i was thinking about that. What was the last time. We lost a player due to salary cap. And i can't remember the last person i could think of. Was michael bennett defensive. And we lost him of two thousand eleven and now two thousand twelve to thirteen here. We go another another fact check of follow on. Molly just did a real time fact check for us. We lost michael bennett in two thousand and thirteen. He went to the seahawks now. These she with him was his contract was up. He said that he was going to give us the right of first refusal which means anybody who offers him a contract. He was taken to the buccaneers and say kenya match. This if you do. I'll stay here. Well he didn't do that. He just went to the seahawks as it was total mess. We lost a good player for that But that's the last one. I can remember where i went. You know that was a screw up in the front office You know we lost a good player to money or whatever. It was hard to distinguish because at that time this when she came in and he was clear character. Issue people out. So we don't know ben wanted to leave as as would kill winslow with kicked off to. Oh what a what a clown show characters we had there. Dallas Cowboys Reach Multi-Year Deal With Star Quarterback Dak Prescott

"Salary cabin number for two thousand and twenty one is going to be twenty two point two million dollars all right now. Head dak prescott. In franchise tag again this will happen in a procedural sense but had to cow tried to go at this with dak prescott on the franchise tag for the two thousand and twenty one season. We've talked about this a number of times. That value would have been thirty. Seven point seven million dollars so the fact that the cow is now have him onto the books. We're talking about the value that is on the books in the books. However you want to look at the books whether they're e books or physical books whatever the case may be that value is now twenty two point two million dollars now. I know that we have all said some things about the dallas cowboys but they are not complete dummies. They surely budgeted for the franchise tag value. Because let's be honest. They came about twenty four hours. We think you know. Close to having the actually placed the franchise tag and maybe carried out with that prescott. So the cowboys have room for the franchise tag at the very least so you look at that quake matt that adam schefter was kind enough to do for you. That is fifteen point. Five million dollars that the dallas cowboys suddenly have because they've got this long term deal with that prescott. This is something that we've been saying for two years now. If you do this you can. You can kick this down the road. You can prorate it you can extended you can whatever term you want to put on it. You can spread the impact of the deal out of the signing bonus of the overall guaranteed money out over the lives of the contract so it doesn't hit you all at once. That's the one killer about the franchise tag is that it is fully and completely guaranteed in franchise tag is a one year deal so the value of it last year and dak prescott was on the tag for thirty one point. Four million dollars. The two thousand twenty dallas cowboys had to absorb that value all at once and they would have had to have done it again. Here in two thousand and twenty one but because they have adjusted that they now have fifteen and a half million dollars that they were seemingly budgeting for dak prescott that now they can apply to different areas. Maybe it is a safety. Maybe it's a defensive end. Maybe it's a defensive tackle. Maybe it's you know an offensive tackle. But they want swing tackled death whatever the case may be. We know that the cowboys obviously hold the tenth overall. Pick in the draft. They could go a number of different directions there. They wanna cornerback kayla farther patrick's retain do wanna take one of the tackles and rashawn slater as all this is. This is setting up and this is an important thing. I want you to hear me here and watch me here. You cannot waste this money. If dallas cowboys the whole point and getting this done with thac prescott besides obviously establishing having the best player on your team for the foreseeable future the point in doing this is to alleviate the salary cap space now. And i don't like the term when now if you watch us often you know that but you look state of the nfc east. It is by sudha. I mean the philadelphia. Eagles are a disaster. The new york giants doping daniel jones is legitimate. The washington football team has a great team but is void of the most important position of the game and a quarterback. Maybe they'd get somebody this cycle as we all expect quarterbacks to change teams at a higher rate than usual but the case in point is at the dallas cowboys are now. We're going to see this all day on tuesday by the way and we'll talk about it of course but they're going to be overwhelming favorites to win the nfc streit and you think about the conference that they plan is really a contender in the nfc. And i mean that with all due respect to the reigning champion tampa bay buccaneers. But you've got the bucks you've got the green bay packers and then who scares you. May maybe the rams you believe in matthew stafford but the point is thinking about the afc. I mean the. Afc has the bills and the ravens and the chiefs and the titans and the steelers and the browns. I mean you could go. A number of different ways. Did the colts have carson. Wentz ends up getting his act together and so the cowboys play in the weakest division in the weaker conference and so now they have this opportunity to really kind of take their future in the here and now they have fifteen and a half million dollars that they weren't necessarily planning on having use it and if they don't use it it is all for not so i mean we are all imploring the dallas cowboys to ultimately use this salary cap space. This is a very very very luxurious gift. That they now have been afforded that they didn't previously have so shattered of course to the dallas cowboys. Let's see here let's move. I'm i wanna talk of course about the bonus the dak prescott because well. It's stupid large. I mean it's amazing. Dak prescott has now the largest signing bonus in the nfl. You look at joe flacco. Once upon a time. Got forty million. Dollars matt ryan forty six and a half. Remember if you're on the fence about this value. We've talked about this before as well. Matt ryan became the first quarterback in nfl history to average over. He had thirty but to average at least thirty million dollars per year with his new contract that he signed with the atlanta falcons in two thousand and eighteen. That was three years ago. Dak prescott signed a four six year. Deal whatever you wanna call it. That was three years ago. They matt ryan signed that he was the first quarterback to hit the thirty million dollars a year. Mark prescott just hit forty but the reality and we've been saying this forever is that there are so many deals coming around the bend. Josh allens gotta get paid. Lamar jackson's gotta get paid. Baker mayfield's got to get paid extra calories. He's going to get paid the year after that. It's going to be time for joe burrow to finally get paid and when all of those players get paid this forty million dollars a year. Mark the dak prescott got this one hundred twenty six million dollar. Total guaranteed is sixty six million dollar signing bonus all these things that are currently the top of the nfl. The most in nfl history. That's the verbiage in determining that you're hearing associated with this and it's all literally true but it's all going to get pushed down because all of these players on this list. Joe flacco matt ryan matthew stafford at fifty million signing bonus. Aaron rodgers fifty. Seven and a half russell wilson not going to be a dallas cowboy now by the way sixty five million dollars. Dak prescott topped that all of these quarterbacks in all likelihood we'll top that that's the reality of the nfl things are always moving in one direction. It is up

I don't know we have like two tons listed on the depth chart Rob gronkowski oj. Howard tanner hudson and our free agents are gronk. Anthony clare in tenor hudson. But what i want to talk about. Most this has pissed me off brio. Okay this has pissed me off like for the past few years. It's upset me. The trade camp rate crowd infuriate me so because it is the stupidest early in the logic is that we have. Oj howard. and he's better which. I'm not really sure that you can make that argument. I don't see how you can say that when. Oj been in the league. Since two thousand seventeen an has never played a full season. I years holy crap and we already exercises fifth year option. I don't understand. we must have done that. I don't know. can you do that early. Can you that their thirty year. 'cause we did and i'm like why i don't get it now. I understand the skill might be. There are potential. Might be there. But you're four years in show like ren dak says on pewter cast no no no no sorry ran it was brent. Who said show me like you tell me that. He's great show because he's just not. Nobody's great on the bench now and he you know i just. Can't he played four games in two thousand twenty one now. He had two touchdowns. So there's that cambrian had two touchdowns all season so you can make that argument. But his catch percentage was fifty seven point nine percent of his targets whereas candidates was eighty two point four percent of his route. Yes he was the best of the titans in not statistic braid has been rock solid ever since he's been here in just quietly dominate in the tight end ru every year. "In that regard we were fourth in the number of sacks allowed so we allow twenty two total behind pittsburgh green bay in indiana indianapolis in two thousand nineteen twenty second. You wanna guess we have you remember thirty five four forty four forty seven seven half the number less or more than half the number of socks cruises we twenty two this year. We were third in sack yards so we lost one hundred and fifty yards. That was right behind pittsburgh in indianapolis in twenty nineteen. We were seventeenth overall in this statistic with two hundred eighty two yards so a good one hundred thirty yards less this year in sack yardage which you know how much of that was davis winston scrambling and trying to get out of the sack Any of that probably. We were not better as far as pocket time goes. This is crazy you know. Time to throw In twenty nine hundred jameis winston had two and a half seconds in twenty twenty. Tom brady had two point four seconds. So it's only a tenth of a second difference. They were marginally better this year. I mean it's not even statistically significant. I don't think so. And then pressure percentage in twenty nineteen. It was twenty two point nine percent and then in twenty twenty th seventeen point eight percent so that's five percent but how much of that is. Jameson was holding the ball. And it allowed defenders to come and get him and pressures view on stats. A lot of this stuff is completely subjective. What exactly is a pressure. Tom brady is excellent at when he feels pressure. He knows he's getting pressure. Or if he is getting pressure those ball and is that considered a pressure if he sees a guy coming loose and he throws it before the guy gets to him. Is that considered a pressure. You know it's very difficult to understand these stats. I really wish that like pro football focus and all these guys at compile stats would link to what they call pressure. They say fifty six pressures throughout the year. Here's all the times we canada pressure. Here's the exact play happened on c. Could go back and look go. I would count at a pressure. How come they didn't count this type of an idea how they're defining it right in particular views. Yeah i mean. Do you have to be within a certain distance of the quarterback to get a pressure. If there's a guy between you and the quarterback is that considered a pressure if you reach out and you get close know it's so much subjectivity there. That's why south can't tell you everything just the they're not you know as clear they don't although the other thing over so that most of that is passing related. I would over the rushing statistics because we improve that much this year as far as that goes so in twenty twenty. We actually did worse. We were twenty ninth overall in rush yards with one thousand five hundred nineteen and then in twenty twenty we were fourth overall with one thousand five hundred and twenty one so i mean we did have to last yards rush yards this year but stood compared to the rest of the league. Total yards rushing. Yeah.

Vincent Jackson, Former NFL Wide Receiver, Found Dead in Hotel Room

"All know Vincent Jackson former Tampa Bay Buccaneer was found dead in his apartment earlier was it it was last week. I was it last week. Yeah. Yes, it was last week and you know his family members want answers and they've actually donated his brain for a CT now they are doing this because there were things off. His I don't know mannerisms his behavior that kind of led up to this very very tragic ending for him that have people kind of scratching their heads going. This isn't normal. This isn't right. So there's got to be something here. When it comes to CTE. Yeah. So if you don't know who it's in Jackson is he was a wide receiver for the Chargers and the Buccaneers and he was thirty-eight years old took out in his way too young what really sucks about like there were just starting to get details about how he was found and everything. So apparently housekeeping came into the room. He was in a hotel in Florida and they he was slouched over on the couch. So they thought he was sleeping so they left the room and then they you know, they called in a welfare to his family called off their check cuz they hadn't heard from him for like a month. Well, I thought it was only two or three days ago. There was like a stretch where they had he was just kind of doing his own thing and they were concerned because so initially the story was at home. It was a an extended period of time and then the two were two to three days thing that you're talking about is they had talked to him and they hadn't heard from him and they were like, yeah everything seems okay clearly. It wasn't so this ESPN app states that at first they entered the room they assumed he was sleeping so they left the room and then they entered the room again later on and he hadn't moved from his spot. And so that's when they called 911 right? There are no signs of trauma injury. I mean this guy had family and kids. Oh, yeah, and that's why people know why is he staying in an extended States? Very bizarre and that's just kind of the things with CTE is that it just completely disrupts your brain patterns and just any sort of your brains deformed at that point, you know, you're you're doing things you're maybe saying things you're acting certain ways where people are like, whoa, what is going on with you, you know, and it's tremendously sad and at what point what's the solution? I mean, you know the NFL Constantly working on ways to make the game safer and taking care of their players, whether it's you know through the helmets or even like the pads or whatever go down the list of things of the technology of what their actual shooting up in to help combat that but clearly it's not working.

"Fm to get started okay. I'm not done with. I'm not done with Jersey talk yet though. Okay who's go back? Let's go back before we get to Mornings Jensen tweeted. I didn't know this but they have to pay two hundred and fifty dollars to keep each Jersey at the end of the year players. Do IF THEY WANNA keep who? Yeah and then so they were the same Jersey all year long. Yeah what and then if they give the Jersey you know they swap Jersey. Sometimes when he was with the Ravens they charge fifteen hundred Jersey because they have to rush. Order them to get them for the next year is no way that they make the players ruling. Yeah I mean you think these guys make a lot of money but a lot of them make league minimum so nitpicking. Ever all this you know. Do they have to pay for their own? Airline tickets and stuff to cleats turns rates and they're like a stipend and then if you go over you gotta pay the difference. There is no way these guys wear the same jerseys all year. There's one that's crazy. Maybe they have like an allotment. But if you want to keep them you pay for the Jersey Jersey pay to. Yeah so I just found that interesting and Ryan. Jensen was super. Pet will not super pass but he was L. irritated because his Jersey isn't on the site. There's only a few Godwin Brady. He said how do I have to talk to actually have my Jersey on the website like he's well salty about tweeted at the buccaneers. Maybe it's because his Jersey's never on the website I don't know I don't think I've ever seen his Jersey on the ones I've seen them they have like obscure people like rebus still on there. I don't know but Okay a bunch of the players have switched their numbers and this going to be so confusion. Do now it's a bunch of them. Okay so Johannesburg. The new offensive Lineman is GonNa wear seventy three Carlton Davis IS SWITCHING FROM. Thirty three to twenty four. Oh that's going to be so difficult to sell so wait a minute. Stuart used to be twenty four gets. He's not on the team anymore. Carl Davis is taken as number John Franklin wide receiver. Who I could never have named in. My Life is bumped He was fourteen. So we know Godwin's taking fourteen so now he's GonNa Be Nineteen which was Bershad pyramid. And then Sean Murphy Bunsen is going from. Twenty six to twenty three. He did a cut on boxing video with his New Jersey today. Yeah so he had a white one. And apparently the buck sent a bunch of the jerseys out to different media members because they like Andrew Acilia no from the NFL network. He got one to La even a BUC fan but they did it with the local media to and then Andrew Adams he used to be twenty six in twenty eighteen but then he got caught Vanda. Twenty eighteen came back in twenty hundred nineteen like later in the year. He was thirty nine. Because Sean Murphy Teen had twenty six so now that Sean Murphy. Bunsen is at twenty. Three Andrew. Adams has taken twenty six. I know there's GonNa be so they have updated roster on the website. But it's just it's it's GonNa take a while to get used to. It's like when ideas is Taylor's which is named Glenn so confusing but the good thing about this this year. We do not have a lot of churn in player personnel now. But they're making up for you. Make it up because every year I have to mirror as all these names and numbers again and Ralph is. I agree with you. Know a much better with numbers now. They're really they. Just do this to haunt me now. It's all about you all about if you ordered a Jersey today. The buck site notes that some of the jerseys are delayed because of the current crisis. But they'll ship no later than September fifteenth ship. No later than September Fifteenth Arrive Way. Now Oh man. And that's the fine print on the all Pewter Jersey saw that progress almond so. I'm sure that they will get there before then. They're probably just kind of giving themselves a wide berth. In case it's worse case scenario. I think they'll be fine. But you just never know okay last piece of Jersey Talk. But it's not buccaneers. The Falcons have announced that they will unveil their jerseys in a week on the fourteenth going to be a logo with just bird poop on a Sunday joke in the youtube video. You didn't laugh are them. It was more polished all right so some news. We re signed quarterback Blaine Gabbert. He got a one year deal worth one point. Five million one hundred thirty seven thousand five hundred dollars signing bonus according to the Athletics Gregg Allman. This is what they call a minimum salary benefit contract under this contract. Gabbard only counts eight hundred eighty seven thousand five hundred against the salary cap. Good deal for a solid veteran. Backup quarterback Buccaneers quarterback. Tom Brady said then it makes you wonder. Are we gonna go for a young quarterback in the draft at all this year? I don't think so either because we got Ryan Griffin to. We are quarter. But Yeah we'RE NOT GONNA have five on the roster but I mean even if we end up cutting Blaine Gabbert. He's only be eight hundred. Eighty seven thousand five hundred towards the cat. We don't play that dead money that's true. We do not like that money. And here's Tom Brady announced last Thursday. He's teamed with Private Aviation Company wheels up to donate ten million meals to families in need amid corona virus epidemic pandemic the Dacian would which equates to one million contributed feeding America as part of the meals up initiative. So that was pretty good and speaking of the you know. We can't say that the name of the virus because you to get all algorithm hunting so nobody's say in the name of the virus you gotta come up with your name. Yeah they take the video down or did they just they monitor. You just do monitor. Who Cares Yeah I WANNA say it? Now I'm like screw. You can't tell me what to say right but see if we were. We'd be yeah tiptoeing around that list. Tom Brady rented. Derek jeter's home on Davis Islands Tampa nobody in Tampa apparently knows exist until now except John. Elaine she's camped outside of it when I heard in the bushes with no no. Actually I would be impressed if that was true. I don't think it's true though now. Valued at thirty three thousand Plus Square Foot House. Need that much space. Giselle and the kids and Tom Brady so that he can have route practice in the house with his new wide receiver friends. I gave Chris Gabu big is they need a lot of room to catch. The ball is it. Did he by the House or rented just renting it. And that's a derrick jeeter like best friends. Yeah the actually do they. They're jeter got a newspaper or a website Camera the name Boston something anyhow. No well you know the red SOx Boston. Which is new. England hates the Yankees Jitters Yankee Fan. Okay for a Yankee do so to on Brady Derek. Jeter being friends has never really sat well with the new with the New England. Fan Base. Now Tom Brady as RENTA's house basically paying money to stay with her and her stay at his house and he wrote an article and a write up in Tom Dealer's website. Dark data there jeeter. Let's say any horrible will bear? Dirk rady wrote an arm and he was just talking about coming to Tampa Bay and now he wants to come here to prove himself. You know which is interesting in that aspect but Tom Brady is. He's very keeps everything close to the jazz. He doesn't put out a lot of information out. Dairy definitely comes from the School of Bill Bell. Check where you say as little as possible while saying as much as possible. Kinda reminds me a little bit of Peyton Manning Peyton. Manning was like the best at the microphone. I thought somebody would ask a question. He would go on for twenty minutes and just talk and talk and talk about really say much. Do a bunch of quarterback speak but he'd do it animated invaded interesting. But after it's finished I didn't say a thing I keep. He turned down the Monday night. Football the surprise me too so anyhow Tom Jeeter there are. Bff's and the Boston fan base is not real happy about them. What Tom Brady is going to be on Howard Stern tomorrow? This is the first time Tom Brady's ever done an interview like this ever. He's never gonNA. We will let you do that stuff. You know their own Howard stern of all places like probably one of the biggest names in radio interviewing. He's he's like one of the best debuts planet. He has his real good knack getting people to now go onto rogan mellow. Maybe we'll do that next. Come on Joe. Rogan is like this generation he like new Howard Stern Howard. Stern's with old people's what you're saying China solid out now whether we just stopped doing all the fortin. Tna jokes and stuff really is like he is like super woke now. Yeah which is hilarious because his career was built. Maybe I should give him a chance. I haven't listened to him. I'll never like Howard stern and listen to all the time. I think he subscribed a serious just for just four. The most people that subscribe to Sirius did it for Howard. Stern Howard Stern's what made Sirius. Xm radio what it was. That was a big sign and got. He got like a hundred million dollar a year contract. That's crazy yeah. That was back in the late nineties or some crap. I don't even remember so yet Tom. Brady's GonNa be on the Howard. Stern show tomorrow Wednesday April. Eighth don't know the time But it's free for everybody. You access that go online go online. You don't even have the cradle to counter. Nothing go to got pulled up right now. I've got a cute wait for tomorrow player Sirius. Xm DOT COM SLASH. Hold back slash. Howard I've gotten to okay interesting but we don't know what time they'll know what time that'll be interesting. I wonder how long the interview is going to be a couple of hours. We're really that's our got It's like Joe Rogan. Gets THEM ON THERE? And just get some talking. Yeah see Joe. Girardi smokes out. He I don't think he does that anymore. He likes to talk philosophy and current events. And all that Howard. Stern likes to get into their personal lives. He asked them questions about. Yeah no I mean he really dig deep and he gets he gets home. He's had some great interviews with people. Hillary Clinton you liked that interview calcining on there maybe nine. You're cracking up okay. Moving on yes so check that out tomorrow. Tom Brady or today depending on when you listen to this or yesterday because they do have replays. Apparently the redwoods tried to get sued from us. Did you hear about that? Yeah THE DUMB KONG SOO. They really tried to get with but sue OPT to remain in. Tampa for two reasons. This is according to Russell Street report DOT Com. Which is the Baltimore Ravens? Like beat reporter side or whatever sued opted the remainder for two reasons. One there's no state taxes in Florida so it gets to keep a large chunk of is eight million dollars to because he can't stay John Harbaugh really apparently him and John Harbaugh do not like each other. They had a few harsh verbal words when the rams and the Ravens had joint training camp a few years ago well you would think that John would have had some say in that free agency acquisition. But maybe John doesn't have an issue with them to take a real personal ugly. I would say the other way around but yeah I think I think is really wants to be here especially Brady and all that. But they really went after sues according to Tony Lombardo the Mardi of the Russell Street report..

"Every year in the NFL. It's a new team as far as goals go. We have one putting the finger. Welcome to the Buccaneers Observer Pond Kansas Rob Phillips as April Twenty Twenty also known as Jersey New Uniform. That looks out cool. They do they look nice man. Those are some sweet sweet jerseys case you haven't seen it buccaneers posted it today. About one o'clock they revealed it with Von. Take David Chris Godwin Devon White. We Got Red Jerseys with Pewter Pants White on white jerseys and pewter on Pewter uniforms they got rid of the alarm clock numbers thank God kept the watermark we basically went back to the old Super Bowl era uniforms as a couple of things. Yes the new word Mark is still on the jerseys which is awesome. Awesome very happy about that. We went back to the darker red. It's not the brighter red that we've seen for the past few years with the new uniform on. They fixed the mast on the ship I didn't know anything was wrong with him. Oust Yeah I didn't either until somebody pointed out that we fixed it and I was like what was wrong with it but like they come over that you can't won't you see it. It's like Oh glad to know that years ago. Apparently the mast. The rear mast was in front of the sale physically impossible. Basically it was more of those laps. Like sound like someone who's never been on a boat before designed so that was fixed. We masks are back to black man. But that's the one thing and I didn't notice it. Look at the helmets to see if they still had that glittery pewter looked to them. Yeah I didn't notice that like it's Kinda got a sheen to it. Yeah it looks like it's still there looking at some pictures. It looks like it's got that little glittery feel to it so that's very exciting very happy. With very matter of fact everybody That we talked to and have heard from has liked it. There was a couple of people that were like a lot of people wanted to see the cream sickle most of the people. I've seen disappointed would like to have seen the cream cycle. There's a few of those out there I'll tell you I like the red initially the best but that pewter really the color rush is really growing on me and apparently I'm not the only one because on twitter there was an informal poll by the buccaneers and Colorado won by like it was at forty seven percent and the rest for twenty six twenty. Six originally talked about getting the Tom Brady Jerseys. And I was going to get the redwood and then she showed me the -puter one and I went on. Nfl SHOP DOT COM. They've got two versions of the hundred Oliver's in one hundred fifty dollar one and I looked at it when I was just like man. Things look sweet. They really do I like him. I think that's what I'm going to give. I like. They did with the numbers on it very much so especially on the shoulders outlined in the red with the colorized slowly POPs. Yeah Yeah I felt like the other ones were very ecology the old Colorado ones I think just had red numbers with red number top lot better or Colorado were read they were ran with pewter numbers that glittery glow in the dark numbers. You're not a real book in your we had did. We have a man whenever anyways. Pewter one's really cool and a fan favorite apparently will wear them three times in the twenty twenty season. Yeah cool well those could they are able. The team is able to wear them three times. Not that they will. That's partly by Gregg Allman. Ralph just pulled up to coloration Colorado's the red ones with the and Iran thinking about that. They were Peter before. So it's very very exciting very exciting. Casey Ralph night livestream debt on Youtube. That was a mess S. It really worked out. Well he pulled it off frantic before that guy wasn't we thought about it the night before and I was like okay. We need this does so I got up and started working on it and we got it done like five minutes before the reveal and I wanted to get it done at least an hour before the reveal so that we could put out word let everybody know we were going to be live streaming. But we didn't know if we're going to get it done. We got it done like five minutes before it started. Zina's Sandwich Anything contribution. I made the sandwiches though you let me know about and we were going to scrap it and then we said let's go ahead and do it and we looked over. We already had five people. Watch it even before we went live. I don't know how that works. I guess it was like Youtube. Maybe it shows you ready to so we had hit live. We had a great great time. It was a lot of fun. So we're talking about anyone anymore. We've gotta get our lighting set up right because today we could do it in the afternoon. Lighting wasn't too much of an issue but typically record the podcast in the evenings so metro light today when we did. But the you know. This is the first time we'd ever done it and I didn't have the streaming setup correctly so it's not the best quality stream in a row. I didn't realize until after it was done in watching US look like garbage. It looks fine on my phone voted. Yeah okay so I don't know but we've gotten good feedback and some of you asked us to do the podcast that way out. Which is what we originally intended on doing. Then we went to the move. Never got set up here yet and we actually have a giant pile of staff inter office like right behind the camera. We look like hoarders honestly. It's just that one corner in the house so I don't think you want my Christmas decorations and Savannah Trap of Babies Staff It's what we plan on doing here soon. Is doing the podcast on youtube chatting with everybody acting a participated? The podcast won't be live on Youtube. But we're GONNA do live events on Youtube. One of the things we're going to do is here's our plant. Y'All know how we are. We got our plans. We have reality. Do some live episodes probably once a week on Youtube. But what we're GONNA do a video our podcast and still put it on the podcast platforms of audio only version and then just have a video version two on youtube so now the way we got it is. It's just an audio version on Youtube and people on Youtube liked to watch videos and it's not really a video so it all you got to change that picture. Change that picture do that tonight. As a matter of fact there are some pretty cool images. The buccaneers have put out of Oak soon. Those domain yeah of the Jersey. Shoot there were really cool and I just love what. I'm Jay and Devon white in the video. They had like Democrat especially he seemed like such a nice clean cut guy and then he's got so much attitude in the video and then he's all talking trash La Fontaine on twitter. It's been a really fun so Levante Right. After the jerseys were revealed I keep calling them. The jerseys they uniforms heated an interview with all the bucks reporters. They had a zoom interview. Which was cool. Gregg Allman tweeted. Had you ever heard of zoom before November? Where did that by China? That's wouldn't that be south. We got on the stairs. All this is so they can push their resume permission. I mean Google hangouts has always worked good for me for teleconferencing videoconferencing. What happened to that as zoom images in there or Skype skype? Yeah I don't know who just popped tailored I don't know maybe people have been using them for a long time and it's just the first. Yeah I don't ever do teleconferencing some anyway. Lante Day they zoom interview with the bucks reporters and then the buccaneers tweeted. One of his quotes. Equipped was these. Were my rookie year. Taking me back to when I was twenty two I just turned thirty so I like feeling young again. So then Devon White said well L. D. I'm twenty two and you thirty a help. You can keep up with me this year. Big Brow. Let's do it. You know I was thinking about that are the only two David and Demar Dotson. Are they the only two people on the team currently who that's not on the team the other line Gregg Allman tweet. Gosh I didn't save that one. If somebody asked Greg that Kim would maybe hold on Gregg allman always ahead of that curve. I WANNA say it was Goldstone. Yes Labonte David Lynch. Well Goal Center the only current bucks. Who Bat who go go back far enough to wear the Super Bowl Era. Read computer uniform. That's been what five years ago? Yeah so if demarcus in racine he would be as well well so I guess. We're not going to resign tomorrow. Doubts have don't look like now. Who knows if he even wants to recite right? Maybe just wants to retire. He might be thinking about it. It's getting a little taste of time with his family. Okay I got to do a fact check. Follow up before we get too far into this. Podcast wanted to jump right into the new uniform unveiling because that was a big event it was so big that we had to do are unveiling of our face today. I know people always wanted to see are faces getting into look at our First Affect Warren. Sapp did not in Steve Young's career. That's a big. I don't know what I've been thinking for Years Memories Affect Man Sam Did take young out in one thousand ninety seven Hillman. Hardy Nickerson But young did not retire until the end of the nineteen ninety season but he didn't play the whole nineteen ninety season. He was knocked out a few weeks into the nineteen ninety nine season by Niyaz Williams. It was out for the rest of the year. Say you can play the two hits basically now I just saw. We knocked him out. I think we definitely now when nobody caught that. I know I was like. Oh always catching style. So that would that would really surprise me but I sweared. There's somebody that Warren Sapp took out into career. But I can't remember who was besides office on some more news. Chris Godwin and Tom Brady of talks. Some of this news is about a week all because we didn't do a podcast this week. We did one last week. So yeah did you know God was four years old when Brady started for the New England Patriots. That is just crazy insane. Now I feel kind of all. I think I was twelve probably Tom Brady robina creator. These kidding yeah I mean they've all grown up watching all right..

"Fm to get started. Here's what I think. Tom Brady brings to. The buccaneers that accountability in the leadership. That be wants and looks for in a quarterback. It is hard as a quarterback to hold the rest of your team accountable when your coffin the ball up thirty times a season and it's also hard to follow a leader who doesn't have a winning record. You know Jameis Winston has never won here. He's I think he's got the drive to win. I do too but would you you when you got people follow you have to have those credentials and actually they stop believing right and don't have a lot of players on our team that have that winning resume. Ugh Su. He made it to the Super Bowl. With the Rams Abo- Allan he made it to the Super Bowl with the eagles. Jp wanted with the giants other than that. I can't think of anybody on our team. That's got does Jan San with the Ravens. Yeah good question but the vast majority of our team are people who have either played with the buccaneers for a while. And of course you know we haven't won for a while or you know they've come from Cleveland while Nasr's now with his immoral or they come from a losing team too so this is going to change the mentality in the locker room one hundred percent. You know it's never going to be Tom. Brady's fought for a loss. Everybody's GonNa know that. So they're not gonNA WANNA lose because it'll be going to be easy to pin the loss on somebody else. There's never going to be Brady's fall. It's going to be so crazy to have a quarterback of this. Caliber buccaneers have never had this before. We've always had the good quarterbacks that become good after they leave the buccaneers. We've never had a coworker back of this pedigree come to the buccaneers and play for championships. Never happened we had been test verdy. He went out after we kicked him out of town had pretty decent career a williams. He went one super bowl after he left. Tampa Bay Trent dilfer. He went won a super bowl after Tampa Bay. Steve Young won multiple super bowls after leaving Tampa Bay. So this is the first time we've had. It happened the other way around where we are getting a super bowl champion quarterback to captain our ship. Man This is going to be the crazier in buccaneers history. I thought the Jon Gruden signing and US winning the superbowl. That year was the craziest here. This is going to be a lot more intense than there. This morning. I woke up and there wasn't announcement from Tom. Brady aware he told the Patriots Fan base that he's not coming back. I like she did. She was like that's one step closer right and I wonder why he decided not to go back. Because Robert Kraft has let it be known that. If Tom wanted to come back they would have made it happen. So this was one hundred percent his choice. Well we assume I mean just like kraft is saying that you know the Carolina Panthers. They said the same thing I think team owners tried to when they know of releasing a player is going to upset the fan base that they try to make. It seem like it's a mutual deal hordes the players decision. So we don't really now we'll probably find out later. When as it stands now kraft is saying that it was Tom. Brady's choice so Tampa Bay. The Super Bowl is being held in Tampa Bay. This year. We could be the first team to play a serious literal home field advantage in the super bowl. It's never happened before we could do it. We grunted do it. We got it this year. Tom Brady got Tom. Brady throwing Mike Evans Chris Godwin and you know who is going to be the number one. Receiver Egli Scotty Miller Noodle Speedy Scotty Miller. I mean then guys love those town. Flock is yeah. I wonder if airings is going to put him in slot. I wonder how much Brady's going to change this offense. You know as far as the play calling 'cause it was reported that Brady would go to the buccaneers. If they were willing to give up play calling in let him make decisions on roster stuff too. So we'll see about all that don't that I think the roster stuff is a little much but playcalling game plan playbook. I'm good with all that. I'll tell you what you want about Jason Light. But he got US Bruce Arians. They got US Tom Brady. Tom Brady probably wouldn't have come here without Bruce Arians. We've only got two. Maybe three years of this. Maybe just one on that but you know. Arians is only going to play only going to coach a couple years. Brady's probably only gonNA play for a couple of years. So this is Ed Bucks fans. It's our shot. I would imagine somebody like talk balls or somebody on. The staff is going to become the next coach. So we're probably GONNA stay intact a lot. As far as coaching staff and philosophy goes but still. We are built to win right now. We are a super bowl team if our defensive if our defensive front plays like they have been playing bass going to stoppable vague. You can't run the ball on us and we are going to get to your quarterback and our secondary can play like. They did the second half of the year. Oh my gosh they were. They were credible. I cannot imagine being a young player and going into the locker room and not just fan boy Oliver. Tom Brady. You'RE GONNA figure most of these guys on. The buccaneers grew up watching Tom. Brady win super bowls. They have got to be going out of their minds or posted on twitter earlier before Tom Brady was signed. He was like Tom Brady to the bucks exclamation point then he was like he said something else that came or what it was. It was like fantastic. Awesome or something like that. J. p. p. made a video and said mentioned. Tom Brady coming here. I forget what he said something like I don't know He. He mentioned it in his video on instagram. So I did you say Shaq Barrett set. Oh yes Shaq Barrett said it last week he said Hey. Tom Brady wants to come Tampa Bay. He's coming he will be our quarterback so you know. Yeah Shack Mayor. It's going to be thrilled to death of this. All of them have to be you know. Chris. Mike Evans is got to be thrilled. Chris Godwin may these guys Chris Guidelines going to have to give up that number twelve to number twelve. Tom Brady goes back to number ten or something. Didn't he have number ten in college? I can't remember but I think he will keep number twelve. I mean Tom Brady has kept. He's got this whole franchise around twelve. He's got his diet plans and all that good stuff. He's got a basically a whole company. His production company called TB twelve to. I don't remember anyhow number. Twelve is big for Tom. Brady not so much with Chris. God when he's has been using it since high school but he's GonNa make good pay day getting rent it out to Tom Brady for a couple of years. I think of when Rivas got the Brady Fro- from Baron. He paid fifty thousand dollars for it wasn't I can't remember. Don't quote me on that. That'd be a fact. Check follow how happy it must they be in the AFC east to see him gone. On the dolphins Iraq number one picks and the number first round picks now bells made it to the playoffs last year. So yes those teams in the AFC east and the fans there have got to be just the probably more ecstatic than we are. They twenty years. They've been getting whooped by Tom. Brady and Bill Belichick. Now that dynasty has over who are the Patriots GonNa get as a quarterback? Oh my Gosh Dame's Winston. Somebody else mentioned that tail. Just thought of that because it's one of the things that we've kind of talked about all day is that nobody has shown any interest in James Winston that we know of that. We just talk about that on the podcast. Okay I feel like I've been drinking almost your high on that Tom Brady. They could be drafting. Somebody I'm sure. They got step up their sleeve. I don't think they're worried about this at all. Yeah we'll belichick. Seem like he really wanted to Tom. Brady back you know. It just seemed like he didn't care one way or the other from from everything I had seen. It is so crazy. I did not think Tom Brady was gonNA come here. I'M NOT GONNA lie. I think we talked about it in. The podcast ended the season in my whole thing. Was you know it's just areas would have to change his whole offensive system because Aryan System Air CORYELL system. I mean it's predicated on throwing the ball a downfield and that's just not Tom Brady's forte. He's a more west coast offense guy you know. He's time routes hip procedures in stride. Crossing routes short routes curls hooks. You know he'll joke. The ball five yards down the field in expected receiver to get fifteen. We don't we don't play like that so it's going to be interesting. I think it'll probably be a hybrid. A combination of the two. Now Bruce Arians always has short routes to what he prefers as quarterback to go for the deep routes if he sees something there. Well it's raining can make deep throughout. Yeah there's no question he's not throwing it Winston now like Winston Yeah. Winston absolutely has the edge on Tom Brady when it comes to the deep ball. There's no question about that because Winston would throw the ball. You Know Ten fifteen times a game that were twenty plus yard passes. You'RE GONNA see that Tom. Brady you know what I just thought about. I really need Winston to get a starting job somewhere so we can see if his eyes are fixed and if that was the problem yes I do want to see how much of an improvement. His eyesight was because the guy just threw went to the interceptions and they were just a lot of them. Were just bad decisions bad decisions and it was almost like he couldn't see that there was somebody there that could intercept a ball like that last one very last interception. He threw so funny. I passed the ever do with the buccaneers. Pick six last pass through the buccaneers. Pick six but he threw that interception and it was just a bad decision but it was almost like he didn't see the guy standing right there that was able to step right in front of brake. Run it in. So we'll see that was that's A. That's an interesting thing. We need James to be a starter somewhere so we could see if this is. Science has gotten any better. I think he's a starting caliber quarterback I do. I do not expect to see Tom. Brady getting five thousand plus yards this year now absolutely not but we're definitely not going to see the thirty interceptions this year either. I don't give a crap about records if we're GONNA the play offs we're going to play offs. No DOUBT ABOUT THAT. No doubt about that. I'll put money on tomorrow. Said last off season hyphen. I'm a hype man but this is serious time now this is this is objectively. I don't see how we can't go to class. Lists everybody on our team gets hurt or I mean there's always something but as far as skill wise and talent. Oh My Gosh. We're we're we are a really really really good. Football team specially with goat in their Alma. Gosh scary good and watch roggio. Pick his game too. Well I was just thinking about that. What are we GONNA do about a run game? I think everybody's games going to shoot through the roof. You're going to want to be out there and play at the highest level. You can with James Winston. These guys knew they had a lot of leeway because I knew he was gonNA screw up so it was okay for them. Screw Tom Brady screw you know. He just doesn't make mistakes and he's got such high expectations. I remember. There was somebody on his team. He heard complaining in the locker room because they didn't make the pro ball and he basically said I'm not here for pro balls. I'm here for rings so you need to get it together and Tom Brady wants rings. I mean he says his favourite super bowl ring is next one. He came here because he thinks this team gives him the best chance at winning another title. That's an interesting point. Somebody who's been in the game for so long is a student of the game to be to evaluate another team and see what's there what's needed. That's probably a good point. I think one of the big selling points for Tom Brady was our defense. I think it was be a OH. Yeah definitely be I definitely be but I think he sees defense and he goes man. They've got something there that I could really work with you know. And that's the thing with James says if he has cut the interceptions in half you know we had a real shot at winning more those games ultimately definitely like I said Jameis Winston cost us. What six games? You are. Twenty three games for sure three games..

"We've got one hundred eighty two days to kick off on it look What a crazy crazy day. Let's get back check. Follow ups out of the way follow-up Marcellus Crutchfield is Gerald McCoy son it is his stepson as Molly said general fourteen when Marcelo was born. So that explains the age. How McCoy's pretty young? But it has a child going into Colorado and into college so interesting for all intents and purposes. He's Gerald Son. He's rains down from what I understand. So yeah so. The beat writers got miss got kind of a snippy with people saying it's a stepson. No it's definitely his son. He raised him my son. You know but there's a distinction there so anyhow Marcellus crutchfield is going to the University of Oklahoma. Good good all right. Let's get you want to get into. Do you want to go through some? I sat there in the other moves. That happen so that we don't miss knows and then we can talk about okay. Big New were so excited. We'd like vibrating all day. Long little bit of news here off the safari and Jenkins was arrested again for his third D. You I don't remember he was tied in for the buccaneers till he got A. Dui kicked off the team. He was also charged with driving with a suspended license. For previous to you. I would assume and one count of operating a vehicle without an ignition interlock device. Which is the thing that you below a. and you have a Dui never had a Dui. I've just heard things a qualifier molly. It's the same from Shane for as Jay when he went to the jets and then the Patriots. He's supposedly got his act together and quit drinking but appears lazy slid back. He's now out of the League. I don't know if he will make a return after this. I doubt it. Yeah said the series lane. Alcohol's a demon to a lot of people. Yeah he might pop in the top. Xfl maybe if they continue to write next year big news here. Cam Newton is out with the payers and it was kind of dramatic because the dramatic with the McQueen. Yeah the panthers put out an announcement that said they've agreed to let cam in his agent look for trade partners and Cam made a post on instagram. That was basically in higher hieroglyphics. Look ridiculous on these weird characters. I don't know how long it took them to type like that. But it was kind of absurd he tweets like the fourteen year old girl dance. And you're kidding or a ninety year old and I don't know kind of a mix he that it was not his choice so the panthers made it out like it was a mutual decision. But apparently cam was the one that got broken up with an apparently Greg wholesome. Chom then and he said sounds familiar. He repeated replied to Cam Newton now really. It looks like a running everybody out there. Kiki's Gone Olson's gone games on Cam. Well they kept Kyle Alan but I guess he he'll be the backup. I guess because they brought Teddy Teddy Bridgewater which is a good signing for them. I like Teddy. I think he's someone you can build a team around. How much did they get here? I want to say it was right around. Twenty four twenty five. I think his market value. But I don't know that it's come out all right. So Teddy Bridgewater has gone to the panthers. The saints a resigned your rains for two years at the fifty million dollar deal. Twenty five million a year. Probably Guaranteed Philip. Rivers has gone to the colts who raiders. Get Raiders Got Marcus? Mariota went to the raiders. That's very strange crazy. Yes with a backup. Supposedly Mike mayock really liked him. During the twenty fifteen draft draft analyst Mark Mark has not been watching football for the past few years then because I guess horrible. So most of the quarterbacks are all the quarterbacks that Bruce Arians was looking at behind door number two have pretty much signed elsewhere. Nobody has shown any interest in James Wisdom that we know of yet and Teddy Bridgewater contract with Carolina really decreases Jameis Winston value. I hope for Jameson Sake. That he wasn't holding out for the bucks because as I understand it the bucks were talking to both Tom Brady and Janus so I just hope that James wasn't expecting the bucks to come out and keep him and that's why he didn't talk to anybody else. Consider anybody else. I don't know if there's anybody else out there that's I can't I? Can't I have a hard time thinking of anybody who hasn't already filled the position at quarterback they could use? Jameis Winston especially at thirty million a year or even twenty five million a year. I mean that's drew. Brees money right there. I don't know where he could go as a starter in you. His Miami Got Fitzpatrick he could be with Fitzpatrick again. They could do their dual. Do Low Lingo. I hope that he finds somewhere I really do. Wish nothing but the best for James I will still wear my Janus Winston Jersey proudly. I think he's a good quarterback. He's a good dude. I'm really grateful for his time in Tampa and I do feel a little sad for him. Because I feel like he gave the franchise his all for five years. And it's just over and you can't blame the franchise I mean. Are you GONNA Sign Tom? Brady at thirty million or gene is Winston on thirty million. No brainer question right. Exactly and if you'RE GONNA lose your job to someone. Don't you want it to be the goat? I would but I do feel sad for J. Mass. It's a little bittersweet the whole the old especially because the Tom Brady you know. He's a rental away again. I'm two years. He's GonNa Retire Patriot. No question before we get into all that. Let's go. Let's cover some other stuff requ. Mike Sherman three plus year Tampa Bay Times Sports. Deputy editor was laid off today. Don't know what that's all about. Maybe we'll give some positive books coverage from the Bay Times now don out. They'll know what the how much he had to say about the coverage there but we all know it's just a lot of negativity has been for a long time. What other trades or deals do we have happening today? The one that made me the most sad was Carl. Nasa is going to the raiders. Carl NASA that one hurt. You knew it was probably to heat can be a starter anywhere yeah and when you have JP and Shaq Barrett I mean he's going to be a rotational guy in there. I'm happy for him to get an opportunity. I am sad to see him go but again which him nothing but the best. I think he's a really good football player. Bit of deaths decreasing on our edges. There vic beef -ly who was cut from the colts go. I mean the Falcons. Sorry he signed with the Titans. It's a one year deal. Nine and a half million. Fernan hargraves resigned with the Texans for one year Robert. Quinn is going to the bears. He signed a five-year. Seventy million dollar contract with fifty million guaranteed Khalil. Thirty million guaranteed not fifty. We're GONNA have Khalil Mack and Robert Quinn yet. Wow did we talk about shaped all? I don't think we did. That was the first free agent signing that we had was to resign j. p. gave him a two year deal. It's worth twenty seven million however two million is in incentives. So it's actually twenty five million with a chance to make it up to twenty seven million per Gregg Allman so that's twelve and a half million a year a little bit higher than we expected here analogous or free agency thing. We we said he'd go for about eight nine million nine million once the ceiling so underestimated that one which is one of the reasons why we probably not bringing NASA WBEC right. We still haven't heard about sue Shack Mirror of course has been locked. Up with the franchise tag says sees the Big One. Lingering out there in. The NACHO is the last of the defensive linemen we need to worry about right so sue and Nacho. Yeah but this quarterback situation has really been eaten up the majority of the Buck Fan base focus. I think so. Are you ready to give in to do it? Okay all right. According to NFL DOT COM in rappaport and Schefter have both said Tom Brady is going to the buccaneers. He's going to sign tomorrow deal. That's worth about thirty million per year tears. This haven't said the length of it. Yeah that's all we know right now is as it stands right now. Tom Brady is signing with the Tampa. Bay buccaneers tomorrow. This is just insane and way play the Super Bowl. Super Bowl is being played in Tampa this year. Though man I'll tell you what guys if you're not listening to NFL network or how watching twitter or anything sports related right now. This is everywhere. Everybody is talking about the Tampa. Bay buccaneers right. Now and Tom Brady if we get Tom Brady. We are going to be immediately. Talked about going to the Super Bowl. Everybody's going to put us way up there to go to the Super Bowl and I'm going to be one of them. I'm GonNa say that's our. That was our last issue we needed to saw to get to the super bowl if we if we keep this defense intact. They play the way they did we coaching staff and tack we got a rod receivers intact. Offense Line stayed intact man. We're we're going guys we're going. We're definitely going to the playoffs. There's no getting around that Andy Benaroya on twitter. I think that's how you say his name. How do you say it out loud? Been been been mainly. He posted a screen shot of ticketmaster for season tickets for the box and there are two thousand. Three hundred sixty one people ahead of him. It's like a weight. Yeah they get the stadium's going to be packed every game. We are going to get more National Football Games that we've gotten in for ever we'll probably get at least three. I would think absolutely and for us to play. Drew brees twice a year. I think he'll be prime candidates going to see your crew. You're such 'cause I'm not only at but you never. You never give up an opportunity to stick to my twisted. The you know what you're going to be able to one day if you're lucky but I always have older friends. It's all relative. Oh my gosh yeah well you know. A lot of people are saying that are offensive. Line is one of the reasons why Tom Brady would not come to. The buccaneers and a lot of the Patriot. Fans and other people are saying that he's going to get killed behind our offense blind. I disagree with that one hundred percent. I think our offensive line great last year especially in pass protection run blocking not so good. Technique did great. And I'm in the process of doing a video now showing the comparison between Tom Brady and Jameis Winston some of the things that I think that Winston had a problem with like being able to read the field getting the happy feet and stuff like that. Tom Brady is excellent. In those things. Tom Brady avoid sex differently than tastes. Wisden does James Winston will feel pressure and run. You Know Tom Brady Glides. Around in the pocket. He's very very good at debt. And I think that our offensive line. Not only do they play. Well they did good protection with James last year. The stance may not show it but they did a lot of that is due to James wisden scrambling getting happy feet. He gets sacked a lot. Doing that with Tom Brady. He glides around the pocket but he gets rid of the ball quickly if he feels pressure. Who get rid of the ball. But what the offensive line is getting. Do these guys you know right now. They are so excited but at the same time. They've got a not in their stomach because it's up to them to protect Tom. Brady you do not want to be the guy that goes down in history as being the one who get Tom Brady killed injured. Yes Oh my Gosh. Could you imagine? I don't think they will. No No. There are definitely going to step it up. That's one of the things with James Winston Phillips. He didn't have the bond with his offensive line. Quarterback needs to have I think a lot of it is because he would scramble around in the Backfield when he didn't have to and it really caused a lot of stress and pressure for the offensive line to try to figure out where he was at which direction to protect all that good stuff. I'M GONNA show it in the video a little bit better but you know Tom Brady was very very. He's very good at you know just gliding around and stay in their pocket you know. And just you know working with his offensive lineman whereas James Winston. He wanted to do things his way if he felt pressure. You know he would shoot up between offensive lineman run to the outside edge. You Know Donald Smith out there blocking somebody had no idea. Chambers was over there and his guy with a shoot over sack James wisden. He was too quick to try to do it. All yes right and these guys offensive line. This goes for the rest of the team but especially the offensive line. They know they can't screw up because Tom Brady is GONNA get in their face. He is the kind of leader that Bruce Arians wants. He's locker room leader and he demands perfection from everybody on the field especially as offensive line. Because Tom Brady's never played with a bad off his line. Before and not that we have a bad offense of lines. Not As league as New England's but I think it can get there absolutely especially if you've got to go on your ass go code on your as well. That's a visual. It's going to totally change our team in so many different ways the respect we're going to get from everybody across the League. I mean that's going to be Skyhawk. People really hate Tom. Brady in the League oil. You hate him all you want but you gotta respecting getting around that and you know everybody in our division just going off ramp to be kidding panther arena. That's that's two two free wins a year there for us. Yeah Atlanta's probably shake it into boots..

"Bridgewater is GONNA be free agent. Then we signed him to own your new which bridge were always like bridgewater and I felt Minnesota was dump getting rid of him. Yeah especially when they got rid of him but what Sam Bradford or somebody like that. I was like what are you doing. Ruined their whole year there but I think he always had the injury bug their broader. Yeah I think he had an ACL tear his first year in. He's he's he doesn't really have that great an arm I mean. He's more of a game manager quarterback. Yeah I'd say recall better better than a game he solid people talking about we should get under the buccaneers and look what no the buffalo game was crazy. I was really surprised at the Texans came back the way that they did and buffalo to shift the band the way that they did. I really thought they had. I mean they were just dominating Houston early on who is Houston playing next king city. Yeah at the Chiefs Baltimore. Tennessee is going to be going good smash mouth football game there too big running teams which brings me to my next point. You hear this all the time especially from certain books media members talking about Joe bloggs Fan. This is a passing league right here. That all the time. This is passing lanes Paisley. GotTa have good quarterback you gotta have an edge rusher all them. Well I looked into it. This is not a passing league This year anyhow check this out of the top five passers in the League. None of them made the playoffs. We're talking about James Winston. He was number one dak.. Prescott number two Jared Goff Number Three Philip Rivers Number Four Matt Ryan Number Five. Lao Now check this out. Four of the top five rushing teams made. It's the playoffs the Ravens Forty niners titans and seahawks now. The cowboys were fifth in rushing. The Vikings were six culture seventh bills. Eighth Texans Ninth Cardinals Cardinals Tenth. So that's seven out of ten made it to the playoffs interesting. A turn in the league will I said this in a swear I I want to go back into the podcast from back. PRESEASON team figures out because everybody's builder defense to stop passing so whatever team figures out to focus on running I or to who run the ball to build a strong running team. They're gonNA make it far. Look at Baltimore Tennessee. Those two teams are dominant running teams. And you know I think Baltimore's GonNa take it all so only three of the top ten in passing teams made it to the playoffs. Two of them were knocked out immediately in the wildcard. I was the saints in the Pager. Ager sheaves if not played yet they're in the top ten how so we'll see right so if they get bumped out none of the top ten teams for passing. We'll be in the playoffs. I mean the Texans are ninth for rushing I mean they got Carlos Hyde and Sean Lots Roy they they into stacking up a bunch of yards rushing per game. This isn't like individual this team rate them having a stunned running back go miwon I guess not so. It's probably more important now than ever for the buccaneers to figure out the run game. A think so and I think really the only thing we need to do to fix the run game is just get our offense on to run block a little bit better which they were in the beginning of the season. It was weird they got. I fell off the draft styled like Derrick Henry with the fourteenth pick offensive line. But it's really not so much. As it was the tidings Dansk we would run those jumbo packages and stuff where we put to tidy and block and all that good stuff and he's very good bed blocking and you know they would call dies to be able to go down the line and make the tackle in the running backs off at one can improve the run blocking course but they were doing so well in the beginning of the season with Ron. Blocking wasn't Claire Gotten hurt. I wonder though more of our blocker came it breaks not a horrible blocker. OJ Howard to restore. Then he's he's just kind of gets in the way and then they just into the side it goes against the defensive linemen or linebackers. He seems to have an issue he block. CORNERBACK HAS CY. It just seemed to rely on the size too much not really good technique. We had someone tweeted us and I apologize. I can't remember who it was asking whether you take an offensive offensive tackle or a running back in the first round now would always take a line. I don't know yeah I it all depends. I think we're GONNA take the best available double player I think so too. We don't have really any positions that are hurting and dire Nin. Yeah I do. We need to tackle to replace Dobson. I think too. I don't know if we'll be here next year. Gone By. Jason Light seems to favor these offensive. Linemen that come from small schools kappa. Our pet that you get in late around around now that would be his strategy. I don't like offensive. Linemen coming out of college anymore and who was Arians talked about talk. I think Joe Gilbert Center just takes so long for them to get football ready right in college they don't don't teach them complicated blocking schemes or anything like that. It's basically like you line up here and stand in the way so it takes years once they to get to the NFL. And I like are running backs I do like Roggio. I like Barbara and I can't see yelling. Dara if Barbara Dan come back I I think he's on a one year deal. He was on one year deal. He signed like approve. It deal so he doesn't come back and you can get somebody in the first round. That may not not be a bad move there. It could go either way. I think often tackle is more of a need than running back but be. BA says if you're drafting for neater doing it wrong and they won't be drafted for need this year for it. So he's doing. Okay let's get into the. NFL News. Had some moves on the coaching in front the cowboys finally fire Jason Garrett and her her end of an era and they hired Mike McCarthy oddly enough they had interviewed Marvin Lewis and Mike McCarthy before they announced that they fired are Jason Garrett so I think the writing was on the wall of course. Garrett contract expires on January fourteenth. Anyway far he just they can get resigned and they brought him Mike McCarthy. The Mike McCarthy went to Dallas. I was really hoping he would Carolina Me Tale. They said that Mike McCarthy stayed overnight at Jerry Jones House. That's it we just assume it if you have not read. The article in sports illustrated. What about what happened on bleacher report report? Yeah about Iran jurors and my. This was at the end of last year. The beginning of this this year timeframe off season last year off season two thousand nineteen great article. Make you really hate Aaron Rodgers more than you already do. You and also Mike. McCarthy doesn't come off that great either and you'll know why we said we wanted Mike McCarthy to go to The Carolina Panthers however he didn't you did matt rule. I don't know if that's how you say his name we're going to figure it out. I guess eventually ru there's an H.. In there I don't you know I don't so now it's a seven year. Sixty two million dollar contract. He's got incentives a two and a half million dollars signing bonus and they're also paying a six million dollar buyout of his current contract with Baylor. They really spent a lot of money to get if this guy Hope he sucks but it sounds like they really want to. I don't know anything about Baylor. We're just not college football. People I know he turn the program around there says what I read from the article. He will one in eleven one year and then Levin one in next year's Okay Sally Twenty twelve. He served as Off Assistant Offensive Line Coach in New York under Tom. Coughlin stay there a year. Then he went to temple which is where. Ba aac coached in the eighties. He initially went to ten and twenty thirteen then went ten and five and twenty ten four in two thousand fifteen in ten and three twenty sixteen. Seen how can you go to intent one year and ten four the next China. Now don't ask me. I see incontrovertible then after the the Baylor football program on a bunch of turnover because of some sexual assault issues of course he was hired and they they went as you said one in eleven in two thousand seventeen and then eleven and three in twenty nine thousand nine hundred twenty eighteen than in any case. He's has been branded as as rebuilder. So they want to rebuild the panthers. Yeah I I don't know how that votes for. Why would you wanNA rebuild a contender number? He is heralded as a culture. Changer is apparently into analytics. We've seen that before he believes in the RPO awesome. He's a former linebacker and believes in smash mouth football his career head. Coaching record is forty seven and forty. Two he's coached defensive. Line linebackers quarterback's offensive of lines. And all that good stuff before he became a head coach. Defensive Guy I he's done about New York wasn't assistant offensive line coach. Oh Aw but that's his only NFL experience with New York under thunk often. I don't know it although you tell about. This are know your enemy series this off season. He doesn't call plays but he does oversee the entire teams operations and he can't be the biggest in the world because he he turned down an interview with Cleveland so we may be in trouble. Let's fans I don't know but we've heard this kind of resume before Greg Xiang. Now I'll I'll we heard about was how he turned records around. Yeah and being a working under Tom Coughlin. who was a hard nose old school? The last of the old school coaches coaches who just got out of Jacksonville hard-nosed nonsense. Yeah we'll see how that turns out. Maybe it'll be another Xiang for the Carolina Panthers it'd be awesome. We'll find out that giants reached a deal with Patriots special team coordinator. Joe Judge which is an odd God hirings who may special teams coordinator remember special teams coordinator becoming a head coach. This is funny because their top two candidates where Mike McCarthy and Matt rule so it looks like they got the bottom of the barrel. Why wouldn't you bring Marvin? Lewis Sucks allowed. Not Why would you bring in Mike. McCarthy yeah I mean if your top two choices if one ear top choices. Is Mike McCarthy to me between the two I'd take Martin Lewis Jim. Schwartz was looking to be interviewed by the Cleveland Browns. Oh poor damn come on. Don't do it I mean he survived Detroit but I don't think it can survived. DETROIT AND CLEVELAND GETTING RUN OUT OF DETROIT exactly and they're not much better off as an organization than Cleveland. I just I just can't see that going any better. A massive Stafford's contract was legacy coming up soon right so the panthers signed the new head coach of Baylor Matt Rule. Will that got me intrigued. Because they paid them a lot of damn money seven years sixty million dollars as a lot of money for a head coach and then they pay Baylor's six million as Blau a lot of money. That went wrong Dan Profession so I got I was like everybody was like David tepper upper. He's the owner from panthers. He gets what he wants. He don't care spanning. Apparently he spent way too much money for the Panthers Organization like two point two billion when his net worth earth-like twelve billion. And he's doing this major league soccer thing. He's paid like three hundred million for that all kinds of crazy stuff guy apparently throws money around like it's a oxygen so I looked into this guy. I didn't know anything about you. Know anything about a matter of fact. I got confused with Colin from Jackson with Evil Evil Mustache but The guy is made his billions as a hedge fund hit Hedge Fund manager. So right there. I don't like it. I don't mind how people make their money. But the something slimy about hedge fund managers base meaning by in the financial world. No offence all you people out there in the financial. Well here's what it is. Here's what I saw. He got rich from the financial crash. You know apparently he was okay before then but he became became a super billionaire in two thousand nine..

"Buccaneers, sub read it, read it that this whole Glazer's out thing is being brought up, there's been a couple of suppose of UK, people that have come in Aston buccaneer, fans thought of the glazers, and all that to me. It's just weird that all this is happening at the same time, not much of conspiracy, theorists. We've talked about this quite a bit or. Are conspiracy theories. It just seems strange to me. Looks more like a coordinated attack to me than it does grassroots effort corporate a corporate Q could be I, I've never had an issue with Glazer's. They'll remember when everybody was complaining about him during the Raheem Morris era, because they weren't spending enough money you can't say that about him now in good grief. They've spent a ton of money money on the stadium upgrade stated, what grades are nice. I've never felt that way about the glazes but never felt like they don't care. Yeah. Now you could say they're in it for the money that doesn't bother me being. They know everybody that does a sports team knows that you make more money if you win. Yeah, I mean it is in the owners best interests to have a winning franchise for several reasons. I mean you make money when you win. But then if they ever decided to sell I'm gonna make more money from a winning franchise. I've never had a problem with glazes either. If I did I probably wouldn't say anything. So they're gone to the David or gone. And I'm like those. Well, I don't understand why you would blame the owners. I don't know. I don't really blame the coaches either ever it see you. Right. It seems like it's a culture problem throughout the world, and I've seen, but definitely in America, where more about blame than we are fixing problems. Yeah, we much prefer to blame people for stuffed and actually fix the dang problem. Yeah. And your point fingers, it's easier than problem solving. It is. It is because you could fail it problem solve but can't fail. It blaming somebody. It's easy way out fiasco. Name you're doing a expose on the glazers profiles profiles. Yeah. Okay. Last couple of nights ago, not on the podcast, but just hanging out. And I realized I didn't know anything about the glazers at all like, are they native c they live in Tampa? How long have they been here all that? So I'm going to do a little bit of research, and we'll do some profiles on the glazers. Meet your owners how much of your guard governors if you're in the NBA, Govinda Govinda. That's ridiculous. How much have you gotten done on the glazers? I read an article. You were texting me though they all kinds of stuff I thought you would pretty heavy article. So you'd basically copy and somebody else's. It's on the buccaneers website. What can there dot com since they're awesome had ever to Wikipedia to? I don't know. We'll see. I do know that there are heavily involved in the community. I mean they're big into charity and all that good stuff. I know that they have religious faith. There is nothing about that in that article. So we'll find out more next time. Do you think they're hated as much as the owner of the raise right now? I'm not even following that. It's just all over Twitter all in Tampa Bay people apparently, he's talking about split in half the games the home games in Montreal and half of them in Tampa, which not disdain not even in Tampa. Do we have joint custody, ROY can be joint custody arrangements? He has got legal custody. Tampa. We'll get the team every weekend, holidays. Are they gonna share holidays who's going pitch out vacation? It's just going to be a mess, and it hurts the child more than it hurts. Exactly. I'm still catching up on all my other bucks podcast. 'cause I've been without headphones for like a week. You just got new handphone. They're pretty cool. Actually got magnetic strips on them and clips and all kinds of stuff. She went all out for ten dollars, ten dollars show it was, too. And the language can either be English or Chinese. And I'm not really sure what it currently is on, like, what else say disconnect or reconnect. I can't tell what language. That's why they were on sale. Hey, they got concerned today was paid Barbara's birthday, happy birthday pain, when it's like twenty twenty probably twenty five still a toddler now. How much is he making a year? How much is he making this year? I don't know. But in this last year was rookie contract already. Yeah. We're gonna sign him next year in, I think he's making two point one to five million and it's a one year contract. That's right. Yeah. So he'll be a free agent next year. So this is like his private contract, he's only been with the buccaneers for two years or three years. Yeah. He went undrafted in two thousand sixteen early like Peyton feel listened back to the podcast. I was really high Payton last year. And I'm surprised he didn't do better on a chalk that up a lot to the offensive line, and some of the running schemes were just pure crap. But one thing I liked about Peyton Barbara, and I'd said it since two thousand sixteen or seventeen when he was here, the guy. Never lost yardage. He always get positive yardage. And I think I said that during a podcast before the season started and then like the first week he had like three runs in a row where he got negative yardage. I was like. I can't believe the proven you wrong change in reality is what they're doing right. I don't get proven wrong reality. It's changed like the Rams going undefeated against their division. All lets you don't I just remembered the other night, we were talking about the defense this new defense coming up and how you're not going to be able to tell what we're doing. Before we do it. So why don't you talk about that in a little bit? Who's going to be a huge change for buck near fans special, people that have been watching them for a long time, because we're so used to basically the Tampa to a four three defense is what we've seen for thirty years, never changed. Four down linemen, get your linebackers behind them. You got be safeties behind. Now then you quarterbacks to Zad. This is going to be totally different. I guarantee you almost every play buccaneer, fans are gonna sit there and go, what the hell is our defense doing, what is that because you can't tell they're going to have Donald Kong Soo lined up as defensive and they're going to beat a van lined up as defensive end. Sometimes they're going to have. No safeties in the backfield sometime. They're going to have. Five safeties on the field. Sometimes it's you're not you're not gonna be able to tell what they're doing. They're going gonna be standing up sometimes. I mean, the whole team will be saying enough sometimes they'll be half of them with their pain in the dirt and other half will be turned around looking like they don't know what's going on. But Susan ball stance. Boom, people are gonna be flagged from all different directions. You're gonna see guys cornerback coming in from blitzes and lamb backers coming up the middle. It's just going to be crazy. It's gonna be nothing like we've ever seen. He's gonna throw people for a loop. I wonder if that's why they have day on the Akina and listen as a linebacker. Anna safety, you have those kind of versatile hybrid player that can play either or like you have Karl Nassib who's defensive lineman. But then he can also play in coverage. Yes. He's more designed for four three four defense. You know, he's more of a hybrid linebacker defensive and type guy saying, what Noah Spence and the Dominicana sue can play anywhere on the line. Right. He did that ad the Rams last and so. Oh convey, you know, except going back, and I don't think either one of those go back and coverage. Please don't do that this year. They did that last year. Craziest thing I've ever saying now, veto van fast, especially for his size and he tries tries but he can't jump you can't Joe. He gets a foot off the ground. Maybe. So I don't think we're going to see those guys going back and coverage like we did last year. We're going to see them doing everything out. You know, believe nose tackle they'll play defensive tackle. It'll be defensive in it'll be standing up. There'll be no hand in the dirt. It's just going to be every play is going to look different. You're not going to know what's going on. You might think you will you be like, oh, I recognize this defense. And this is a boss nabbed you go. What are they doing is nothing like what I Philip, I'm curious to see how it's going to go when you're watching film, like if they're gonna take longer to try and figure out what the heck thirty win. It's going to be much harder to figure out people's assignments which I don't generally do anyhow, because it's. Blamed thing to yes. And he's scored out but with a four three basic defense that we've been playing for so long you kind of know what everybody's supposed to do it. I mean you can get a gist of it. But with this, I think it's gonna be damn near impossible to try and figure out. But like I said, I don't really try to figure out what people assignments are. I don't really great people, whether they failed their silent or not, I've great on whether they get knocked down or blocked or pushed out of the what happens with the play where they end up on the play. Yes. Yeah. If you're defensive tackle, and you end up fifteen yards off the line of scrimmage, and you started off on the right hash Mark, and you're twenty yards on the left half, Mark. I'm going to say I don't know what you're Simon was. But I don't think that was it. You were. He failed, you know, so, yeah, it's going to be a very, very different defense, not that I think people are going to be shocked, but then they're going to like it, because it's a lot of pressure we're going to get we're going to get tore up over the top he'd probably multiple times a game. But do you think that's why they put that much into our secondary? Yes. To try to mitigate some of that speed and length. Yeah, thanks. We used to call it tall when I was. Tell us links. I guess I guess that includes your arms when they say links. Yeah, that long arms because he could be tall have short arms. I t Rex. That's why they so angry. They can't scratch themselves. So, yeah, we're going to see a lot more man coverage a lot lot more coverage which is good. I love me and coverage a lot of it so that we can blame people, you know, whose fault it is a mmediately, if your guy, the play it's probably your fault. We are almost our whole defense, especially upfront seven are extremely hybrid players day on Buchanan. He's extremely a hybrid skill Barratt, hybrid NASA, hybrid, though, it spans hybrid dumb McConnell. Sue hybrid Vida, hybrid about David man, we're going to see I think he's going to be really good at this because he was really good. What she on? Oh, and Xiang to basically had him attack the ball..

"I'm pretty sure it was number ninety five hour Jones, actually got hurt cut it off feel at the game. Because typically got knocked into him confess on top of him was like, so, you know, there's all kinds of things that I could point out about McCoy lowlights. You know, the guy wasn't double-teamed all the time. He wasn't constantly disrupt in thing. I mean he did. I'm not saying he's a bad player say Nieves overrated. You know, listen to last podcast, you hear all the stuff we say I mean, he had plenty of downsides and I think that getting rid of him is going to help the team out. So when you look at it look tomorrow on the Twitter account for deer McCoy, getting pushed out of the way because that's one of the things he just was not strong just did not have the strength. That's what su- has over top of the Koi. Mccoy's great on his feet very fast very light on his feet. But he was not strong dominant sue, and strong. You know he anchors the center, more of a natural defensive tackle keeps the quarterback from being able to step up in the pocket stops the gaps from the runs. You always felt a German. It was more of a almost a defensive end in his you know, he was really about getting to the quarterback. And he would go all over the place to do it. And, you know, flailing arms and all kinds of stuff. But he did not anchor his gaps like you would normally expect defensive tackle the do, I think suit will be much better at that will between sue Bo Allen and Vida, my boy. I think we are going to be stopping everything the middle, it's going to be insane. Yeah. I mean that's basically it'll be those gods. Jobs is just plug up the middle. Oh my gosh. Going against the division. We talked about this right after the draft or free agency, maybe about how the whole division is sure enough their offense of line and predicted, maybe it was Vida, pretty sure it's because of gotten down conceal. Don't have yet, it's not official. We're NFL tweeted the newest member of the buccaneers defense down consume till the buccaneers an ounce. It, we can't say it's done it. Here's another thing. That's interesting. And you brought this up Molly that German cobras released they afford clock. Haven't heard a word about him being going anywhere. I think extreme said that the team was allowing him to find trade partners. They were allowing his agent to talk to other teams and see if they can find a trade partner that would be verbal. And yes, so he was released four hasn't been picked up. Maybe there's a bidding war going on there. Entertaining. The several different offers. We'd be hearing about that. I mean if we've heard already that's worse outing. Sue Adam Schefter tweeted that, like an hour after McCoy was cut you would think if there was anything about the coin being looked at or tined out Schefter would be saying that to you just. You just pointed that out. And I was like, oh, and think about that. So it's gonna be really interesting. I'm really excited about it. I'm excited about this year in general. But this is just added a whole new layer. It hasn't been a really good offseason member off season like this. Now I pretty excited when we got into events wasn't. Here's the thing about Durell Rivas. I didn't I thought he was overrating, and when he played with us he was he was over it. He didn't need that really. This like his retirement. Now what do they call it sabbatical basically? A year in between high school graduation and college. I can't remember what the call anyway. Yes, semi retired. And hopefully sue do that. But I don't think he will because he's got something to prove chip on his shoulder. He's always shoulder, but anyhow back del Rivas. I thought he was over rated I talked about was the best quarterback bub-bubba came here and I was like, I just don't see it. And then he went to the New England Patriots. And I saw him make some plays and do some things that were just amazing. I'd never seen a cornerback do before. And I was like why couldn't he have done that here? If your players like that we've had a lot of players players like to don't even go to the list, every time we go. Depressed? I was excited about the Vincent Jackson signing. Well visit Jackson he came in. He played hard. He was I like that. He's immersed himself in the community and he's still there. And he's very active golden restaurant. We gotta go to restaurant next. But yeah, but what they didn't like about Vincent Jackson and it wasn't him. It was the fans when he basically retired not a peep, nobody said a thing, but we had Mike Evans at the time. So everybody was just kind of like didn't really even. But Vince Jackson really helped the buccaneers a lot. He was a very he was up to that point. I think our best free agent signing. I mean you could say Keyshawn Johnson, but we all know how that turned out. I mean helped us when Super Bowl but we all know that was the defense. And if anybody tries to tell you, John, that want us. That want us to Super Bowl single to me, and I'll. Booking your helmet. That was our defense thing. It that's enough der McCoy probably not. We know of it'll never be enough. He has given us some good material over the past nine years. I wonder if there's a Petit if people are sick of hearing about, it's only been a day, though. It's kinda fresh. I know a lot of people are grieving. A lot of fans that are really upset. And I understand that too, because I've had players like that, where I'm upset. Go both. I was like, man seriously. Gary was probably the hardest for me. Well, besides judge Edward Edwards towards that left. Owns I felt that way. When Greg Xiang was fired. Yeah. Yeah. I think so too. I've always wanted to see him do something else that we can point. And guess? Stake when he was when he signed with the New England Patriots this year and he was going to be their defensive coordinator. I thought this is it. Medication? I don't know will ever go back to the NFL that Wilson. Yeah. I don't know the fan base hate him. But most of most of the hated him because of the media, the media could not stand great. She honor. Any is NATO that really I now let's followed. In fact, check all those he'll podcast ago we didn't do the less last pot. Check check glass podcast. It's funny because I'm sitting here looking at the game of thrones picture, picking Padraig from gave thrones mean you said FEC checks on just do it all together. And I sent a pod check, as a cool story around. Tell him again. Okay. So the last podcast we did distract terrible going in the podcast before that read a little bit in the instant ninety months. Yes. And I don't think we cover the following fact checks from the week before because I was sick Friday. We do the podcast. So this is following fact checks. Oh, if you of, but actually, I think these are just friendly Monday podcast. Anyhow, we talked about carbon tally being the book and break some news doing not as now get stuff, and we were like, who is Harvard. Hell we had never heard of before since two thousand eighteen and we'd asked could she had said this the training camp? They look much more excited energized and everybody flying around and all that we were like, what did she have to compare to their last training camp? Right. So any I looked it up, couldn't find anything from power tally on the books before last year? I did find her on the book and your staff media guide for two thousand seventeen but she was listed as the marketing communications coordinator. Okay, says she just changed Johnson twenty eight teen at town flank. Yes. And it's very strange because there are. There is no more marketing communications coordinator, listed as the book in the book, and Megan's staff anymore in two thousand eighteen she's listed, as a staff writer slash senior digital content producer at is more terp position. Yes, it seems like they do that with the buccaneers a lot. I don't know what's going on with their front office. But there's over two hundred people that were booking your front office. Now, I know there in council, I was like, man. This is a lot of people. You know, when I got from that is that yet a lot of time on your hands. Send counter into the names will agree with pictures. So I just was five across.

"Every year in the NFL it's a new team. As far as goals. Go. We have one. Putting a fucker ran on a finger. Up into the observer podcasts Billips. Molly bay today is may twenty Firth two thousand nineteen one hundred six days to kick off day, one of a new era. Definitely definitely, the knives are out fans are fighting it's terrible bloodbath on Twitter to of gun. There's two camps the right Cape in the raw camps. The right camp though. It's the right camp in the idiots. Yes. Tell we, that's what it's come across as Email very divisive on Twitter. A lot of people I understand our emotional, but they're kind of lashing out at the other side is true, there's a lot of comments about. There's a lot of idiots on Twitter today, or I'm just over these dumb comments or not a whole lot of engagement or discussion. Just a lot of name calling Beck's steps thrown around back and forth between both parties. And of course, you can make stat say whatever you want. Yeah, I saw some last week or earlier in the week, maybe comparing McCoy and sue, and you actually pulled similar stats couple podcast ago. Or did you just text them to me? I can't remember you talked about him in the podcast. Yeah. In the stamps later. So then. They cherry picked all the ones that made the coil good left out the ones that made him. Look, not so good compared to sue. That's what everybody's doing. I think it's one of those things where we're just going to have to wait and find out, you know, if you haven't heard McCoy has been cut by the buccaneers and the rumors which aren't really rumors. I mean, we got top NFL guys, Adam Schefter, and all those saying that the buccaneers are signing the dominant sue and fell tweeted a picture of him in about the Air's uniform cartoon with the number ninety three now that was crazy. I was like, whoa. Oh, you wore that number. It's not like they're just know this lab jerem coined the vase. Maybe they are. But he's always order, ninety three right McCoy both have ninety three throughout their whole career net McCoy are seal were ninety somewhere because ninety three is taken, I can't remember where it was because he ninety three at the Rams ninety three Troy which. Heme which is a big smack in the face. And it's a huge statement if they do get sue. I mean, they just released McCoy today at four pm was the official actually release. Yes. And by what five o'clock they had already said there were signing sue, yes, so the details haven't been released. I'm not sure that it's completely Inc debt back through, but it's a one year deal and Greg, almonds reporting that he heard, it's ten million dollars house before I think McCoy was even released which is exactly what was about ten million dollars. So we're only saving three million adult take, apparently, it was not the money that was the issue. I think it's the culture change and swapping out McCoy for sue is definitely a culture change in. It's going to be telling it's going to it's going to say a whole lot about both players and I guarantee you wherever McCoy goes, he's going to bust his butt to prove his critic draw and I guarantee you. Zoe. So. If Suu comes to the buccaneers, he's going to bust his butt to prove that he's better than McCoy, we'd situation, but just about everybody if you ask me, but I think it would be very interesting, if McCoy went to New Orleans, or somebody NFC south we had to play him twice a year. But yeah, it's too huge statement by the buccaneers areas. I would assume don't know how. Now. Yes, it might be one of those things that goes pretty far up now I don't know if McCoy pissed off Glazer's or what happened there because he was there darling for a really long time. I think they put a lot of eggs in his basket. He just didn't pull through and they were like fine. Let's get rid of him in areas was the to do it. I mean hearings made no bones about the fact that he's just not high on McCoy from day one. He talked of every player on the roster just about. Typically, then do a couple of barbs Adam along the way, I haven't theory, I just came up with this news. It is a conspiracy there. What if German Koi is the source of a lot of leaks to the media. We now he's like, BFF's extravagant and Tom enter the guys at the Tampa Bay times. And maybe that's why the glazers are pissed off. 'cause you know, he's given the media information that maybe the glazers don't want out there or that may be benefit McCoy, but not the team. Interesting take, and with areas his motto is trough loyalty respect, you can't trust him if he's doing that. I don't know the. You couldn't trust him. He's clearly not loyal, and he doesn't respect organization when these to get on that find out, it is interesting to me how just about one hundred percent of the media. The local media is advocating for McCoy still. Yeah. Well, there's some of the ones that are making comments about there's a lot of idiots on Twitter. Rick Stroud to the one who broke that MacAulay was being cut. Rick Strahl also the one that said McCoy was going to be here in two thousand nineteen and he was also the one that asked Bruce Arians, y Bruce toll McCoy, not to show up to voluntary minicamp was, like that's wrong, where you got that room. Yeah. Conspiracy theory, so on Joe bucks fan. What are the Twitter comments said that the media has Gasol it us into thinking that Jeremy coy was a good player? I mean, we're constantly getting shoved down our throats that he is a six time. Pro bowler. All pro people, a have Sachs, they've done that pretty much since he's been here, but it really ramped up in two thousand twelve after we basically clean house with Ray Morris and his whole crew. And she came in and then they just immediately put McCoy front and center in the media, took it and ran with it watching Buchan ears game without them talking about McCoy, at least six times. Yeah. The announcers do every time yes. Even got name recognition, even if he's sitting on the sideline could be McCoy McCoy McCoy in the local media. They get all kinds of access with him. And the most of them have stayed quite a few times McCoy never met a microphone, you didn't light, so they all have access to. And it's we've talked about that on the podcast access media is kind of dangerous, when it becomes to getting the turn because they don't want to lose their access. So they're going to say things to make their access people happy and it's convenient if you don't have to work too hard for story. Someone's just gonna tell you the story. Well, it's gonna be interesting. We're gonna find that a lot of stuff about your McCoy and pretty sure now that he's gone. Some players will probably start opening their mouths. A lot of players were upset from the buccaneers, like lavar, David Donovan Smith tweeted sums in Judah, John, do we have him? For a long time ago. He was tweeden about McCoy n- to lamantia gave it wasn't. I don't remember I mentioned ex- player who was. I think they're still the league tweeted till Avantis David said I feel real bad for the von Tae right now. It was like why wouldn't you feel bad for McLean? Very, very odd crickets, cut people feel bad for the day. I don't know. We'll find out it's going to be interesting. But then, again, we ever find out two thousand eleven season. What happened there? Don't know enough will ever found out somebody fills in gives some dirt. Okay. Now that we're done with them. Koi, can we get it all shaken out anymore? Just little bit more. I've got we talked about it. We really blasted McCloy last podcast and talked about how we think it's a good thing for the team to move on from him. And I had said that I had hundreds of video clips of him, getting pushed out of the way. I don't have hundreds. That was an over exaggeration. Which I do that a lot over exaggerate quite a bit when talk about things, but I do have quite a few and challenged on Twitter to post them. So they're going to become an out tomorr-. I'm gonna have if all of them. Exhausted. At one minute to minute mash up. Tickets could be more than that. But it'll be quite a bit enough to where you can go because most pains, don't see that they see the highlight of players rarely see the low lights. So I'm just gonna show in these are not because I'm specifically honing in on just McCoy getting pushed out of the way. That's does have plenty of other things I could point out about McCoy like how he always not always see that's over exaggerating. How he gets in the way of the defensive end quite a bit. It's one of the reasons why I think that we have not had a defensive end been dominant because Tim McCoy will loop around a lot Thome like stunning but he's not stunning. But who get pushed into the defensive end by the right guard left guard. Whatever a lot of times knocks couple of players have been hurt by gerbil. Koi getting knocked into who was the ninety five number ninety five George Johnson. I'm

"Welcome to the buccaneers observer podcasts as row Phillips. Molly bay, man. Somebody get me the phone number to the glazers or an Email or something. I gotta get in touch with these guys. This has been bothering me all week. I take me and Molly ruin Christmas vacation. We're going to try to do some podcasts while we were out. But we never really got a chance to do it. And we thought well, we won't mess around with the Dallas game because we haven't had a chance to get around to all the details and stuff we like to do with Christmas. And all that. So we weren't gonna do it until I started watching all twenty two I'll tell you what I got so excited. This has been the most fun all twenty two of ever watched. And that saints because I've been doing this for a decade now. Normally when you look at my sheets, when I do, it's it's very sparse. When I point out something that that's happened. Noteworthy. But on this one it was almost every play. If you look at my sheet, it's just filled with stuff. I mean, this was an exciting an interesting interesting thing, it took me like twelve hours to go through this film. There was just so much stuff. But I'm gonna start off with this it everybody knows. I'm not a big let's fire people get rid of people gather. But it's going to be a huge mistake. If we get rid of cutter huge mistake. And like, I that's why I want to get in touch with the glazers and his tell them what I I've seen what unknown like man, you know, you're going to be ruined in something really really good here. What we're we are. We are. So on the brink of greatness. It's scary. So what's the problem, then because it seems? Like, we've got all this inconsistency. We've got penalties. We've got mistakes in the red zone. You know, we have only yards can't score. Play devil's advocate. It seems to me like that all comes back to coaching figure. This is the first time he's ever been a head coach. There's a lot of stuff that you know, he's gonna make mistakes on this is what is third year. Right. When I watched his game live now. I thought what you know. Because we always talk about did. We lose the game. Did they beat us? Did we win the game? I'll let good stuff wasn't the refs. Did we beat ourselves? Right. Yeah. And my first thought after watching this was we totally lost that game. I mean, we headed in the bag, and we just let it get away. We just made mistakes and Galveston do anything really spectacular. No. I mean, we put a stop to them. I mean Zeke Elliot would he end up getting like eighty eight yards or something? I mean, I think as long as run was thirteen yards. I mean, he ran the ball twenty two times. I mean, they they they had short field position. Most of the game. A very good field position. Most of the game in there. You know, one of their defeat their touchdowns was defensive score. So they offensively. They couldn't do anything against us. They kept going three and out or you know, when I think another touchdown was because we fumble that really they to go to your languages rain. Right. So I mean that's two touchdowns right there that wasn't their offense doing anything. It was offense. Right. And this goes to what you were saying is that is coaching. Yeah. I think coaching has a lot to do with it. But if you notice we're not getting beat we're beating ourselves. Yeah. I mean, if we could play a perfect game where defense special teams in offense all just played the way, they could play ain't nobody league that we can't beat. But how do you fix that? If it's a coaching issue. Well, I think that you know, with the defense it was the Mike Smith to Bockel to beginning of the year. You know that was five games. Just basically washed down the toilet. And a lot of injuries. And we had a lot of injuries which can't use as an excuse because all it NFL teams. Yeah. It had you know, you don't have dad there..

"Welcome to the buccaneers podcast is Philips. And I'm only way. Drug. I'm not gonna lie. I could barely stand up. I think I'll get more draw when we lose. Yeah. Well, you know, I don't think I drink more. It's just the the emotions. I dunno sucks me. Molly is in a foul mood me. I'm not so bad because I'm not doing too bad in my fantasy football. I had Mike Evans. He got me to. Elites? I have it's magic that got me thirty five. Right. So why are you upset and I'm not in that bad of a move. So what do you think's going on? Well, it's obvious to defense sucks balls. Obviously not Jameis Winston guys. Will if we fire Jameis Winston, then everything will be better to understand how this works, obviously. Now, Mike Smith either. Well, no, no, we fired Mike Smith in defense defenses better. Right, molly. You just don't understand math. Well, you know, I think I think get rid of Mike Smith helped it really did our defenses not as soft the man. This defense is marshmallow. Well, like there are at least not confused bright. Yes. Yeah. We're not getting wide open receivers. That's really the only benefit I've seen with get rid of Mike Smith, but we got we got to start tackling, and I've talked about this. We're just not tackling. We're not sitting our feet up putting a shoulder into it. The only time I saw somebody tackle will Carleton Davis said his feet put his shoulder into it. And McCaffrey jump to every. So maybe that's not the answer. I don't know. But you were right. When you were saying that. What what happened saying that the I think the microphone messed up say the tough team versus a soft teams tough team every time. Yeah. That was a beatdown they bullied us. They took us in the backyard and beat the snot out of us. But again, it's not like they really did anything that spectacular. Cincinnati. They'd get the ball, and they would run over top of our guys, you know, those little yards. You know, the five six yards of plowing over our secondary makes all the difference in the game. We couldn't stop them. Now, not at all not at all. Obviously, they put it forty two points keys. S forty two. How many we get twenty eight? They didn't even have to settle for field goal. And all dang. I mean, forty two points and six touchdowns in six extra points. No, see. Well, you're sad. Because I didn't even pitch into the final score blacked out in the third quarter. Yeah. Man. Well, I've really expected fits magic to come in and lay some bombs. He didn't do it. I swear to God. We we were dinking Dulken just like they were but they were getting the yardage after the catch. They were running the ball over top of us. And that to me that was the difference in the game. Our defense could not stop them. Well, and they were getting a lot of pressure. I think on its magic he didn't have time to give it out accurately. Yeah. This is true. But I, you know, no, more than usual, actually, considering how much they blitzed and their front seven. I think are. Offensive line did good. I haven't seen the tape. So I'm just going good pickups fine to quiz ranchers, do think. So are you just noticed neck because I pointed it out and just supporting argue. Try to keep this marriage. Happy. You know? I saw a couple of plays where Donald Smith messed up, but a left tackle can do that. You know, you're expecting a couple of plays with them. But I didn't I didn't see anything stood out where I went man this offense of line sucks. 'cause Carolina's got a mean front seven. I mean, they're gonna come at you. There's no getting around that. And Keithly was all over the field as usual. He did great. Our guys just didn't step up. Now. Nobody did. And that's what J P P seven his post game interview. That is on the players at this point. It's not the coach's it's the players got a play. That was that was. Yeah, I agree with him on that give JP props there, man. Because I mean, I founded eight ten twelve fifteen miss tackles. And I wasn't even keep a track. That was what this one's that. Just caught. My there was a one on Samuel's. Crazy. Touchdown run four. Yeah. We're tackles. Yeah. Exactly. Four on play. Because vita was down there..

"Welcome to the buccaneers podcast with Ralph ill. Molly bay the and Molly. Hi, Molly, Molly. Well, we lost. Yeah. Things didn't go quite the way we wanted. But to be fair. It was an entertaining game. Which is what I like to see and we played hard. We played good. So today to good teams we lost. But it wasn't our worst showing. Yeah. We've definitely seen play worse before put up twenty seven points. There's that. Here's that. Yeah. We all do fit. Magic wasn't going to last forever. You know, this is what he does. He plays lights out for a few games. And then stinks up the joint. Not that. He's thanked join up. He wasn't as accurate as he was first two weeks. I don't think it's all on him. I don't know. I don't know. Then I mean now if anything I would say offense a blind would be the issue more than anything else on offense. Okay. And the run game run game. But that can be traced back to the offense. A blind the run yet. I think it was then bad. I mean, they just didn't do a lot of running. We were behind. Yeah. For most of the game. Barbara did pretty good. I mean picked up some good chunk plays. Fitzpatrick had people in his face the whole game. They blitzed quite a bit. They normally do. But even when they just roast floor. They were getting pressure on him. And you know, there were some bad balls. Yeah. No, all those interceptors were minute. Who's fall right for sure. For the dolphins did make. Big plays. They made some costly mistakes as well. It was that Chris Godwin drop in the end zone. I do not understand that one at all. It was like he caught it was in his hands. He didn't go to the ground. And it was like you went, oh, I got, you know, put my hands out to stop from hitmen ground. He put his hands out the ball fell out of his hand. It was the weirdest thing. Maybe was a hot potato Hoppy guy was playing uptake in the ENZA. But he he played he was the best wide receiver out there. All night made some spectacular catches. No one really showed up. I think they blew. I mean like big fifty yard touchdown catch. I thought they did. I thought the whole the receivers did. Okay. The one with the Sean Jackson though, where he was called for a penalty. While the ball was still in the air. If he would have kept his arms, Dan ran for the ball, you could cut it. But I guess it was such a penalty night. He figured if I just act like I got a penalty. They'll give me five. So Pittsburgh can fourteen penalties. Moves had ten really. It's twenty four penalties together quarter. Yeah. Six according. And of course, there were few that were declined. So what was it twenty four accepted except the break. Wow. But that's what we saw was Pittsburgh and Cleveland in the first game. That's right. So to me it shows more about Pittsburgh than it does about us. They're playing some sloppy nasty football. Well, this is true. They were we mean you pointed this out while we were watching a game. They do a lot of holding sort of the saints and the eagles. There's a lot of holding going on in the league is not being called the buccaneers. They're the only people that don't home. Book and here's do no wrong. Irs? Now, the there was blatant holding in quite a few things ain't Tony are Brown. He he was holding. I mean, he was false. Great rafts to toss in Brent. You're just pull the shoulder has Brentwood slip. I don't know if it was raining. It looked a little slippery in wet. And the field was coming nasty. We don't live in Tampa. So it's hard for us to tell I trying to you. And you can't see on TV if it's raining, right? I mean the field look like crap. That's for sure. Yeah. There was a lot of slipping and falling out there. So both sides. I don't know once it was the Steelers are grabbing us and pulling us down or it's just a feeling condition. A couple of times with Antonio Brown. Brent Grimes, we rewind it watched it. It was obvious that in Tony Brown was grabbing him in phonemes green, and it's just a quick little tongue. He's letting go it's really very sneaky, very sneaky. And. I think it's characteristic of Tomlin's coaching because I think that this has been a kind of a consistent characteristic through his tenure. I will agree with you. They just seem like a dirty dirty team dirty dirty. Pittsburgh Steelers well on the blast. Play win. Connor got that the first down thinking ran for like twelve yards. Got the first down ended the game because two minutes left. Whatever we counted. What four instances of holding by Pittsburgh limit play? How the rest didn't pick those things. I don't know. But I mean, they were picking up everything else. They were calling flags for everything. Most of it was BS. I mean, those those Griffin the passer penalty they got to do something that everybody knows in the league. And like like you said they were they call them on one play. And then the exact same thing would happen. A few plays later, and they wouldn't call it. So it's very ambiguous that happened McCoy dot com for it. That was horrible. He you know, they go three now. And then we get the ball back and this same exact thing happened to fits and they didn't call it. Right. You know, it's just frustrating. Yeah. I mean, it's a lot to put on these refs. But I mean, we're we're adding rules adding rules adding rules. They have to watch for more stuff watch for more stuff. And now they have to babysit. I mean, they have to babysit these guys health because everybody's talking about CD player safety. So we're leaving that up to the rest. It's a lot of responsibility put on those guys. But still I just don't like, and I don't I don't agree with any of that mess, but let me we have guys. Now, we're talking about quarterback safety. We have people now that are driving cars joining the military that have never not known Tom Brady or Ben Rothlisberger as the quarterbacks of the New England Patriots. And the Pittsburgh Steelers. A lot of people don't even they've never known the New York Giants without Eli manning or the San Diego Chargers or whoever they are now on the LA chargers. It's hard to keep track. Would Philip rivers. I mean, we're talking about quarterbacks that are in the league for fifteen twenty years. I mean, that's that's ridiculous. I'm sorry. Thank you. Thank you. Not a big fan of it. That's what they it's one thing to protect the quarterback. You know, because they touched the ball every time. So maybe you've got to have a little bit of protection and a little bit of extra rules and safety. But I mean, if they're if they're able to play for fifteen years when they're never getting touched. But then not to not have the same consideration for like someone like running back. I mean, there were his last night on the running backs that we're just ridiculous. And then, you know, the quarterback's seem to be pampered, and they can't take a hit on. You know, what they answered all this is what's a flags. Plays flag football. That's what we're going to football. Not goodness. I remember joking about that years ago. But it seems like it's getting closer and closer the Pittsburgh defense played hard. You know, they played a lot harder than I thought they would their their secondary. I thought we were gonna eat them up. I don't know what they did. I can't wait to see the all twenty. To it hasn't come out yet. So I haven't been able to look at it. They were breaking up passes. Pretty well. So I think is that the answer to play in a team was such a good wine worth evening quarreling that ball. And then pop it out. Yeah. That's you know, there were a few young their secondary was right on top of our receivers. There were no all wide open receivers this time. So that that impressed me. But I'm interested look at twenty two and see what Tomlin did the secondary to shar while receivers down the way he did. And I wonder if it's a matter of they had the tape on us. They have two games. Yeah. We came out surprised everybody. You know, we kind of punched everybody in the mouth and now and they've got some film on us. So what it's not like we didn't get the big plays. Right. We have some big plays. Right. We at at the half. The score was thirty two thirteen. We came back. We've John's we held them. No. Scores in the second half. Yeah. That's you pointed that out to an inch kinda shocked me that they didn't score any in the second half. I guess they didn't really feel the need to score that much more. I think they were trying.
